Starting point is 00:00:00 It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind and it either heard me or smelt me and he pulled his head out of the tent and stood straight up and that shocked me. They don't make people that big. The way it moved, almost as if it was gliding across the beach. I've never seen anything moves like that in my life. They were screaming at each other in gibberish. It sounded like a language and they were chuntering away back and forwards, back and forwards, back and forward.
Starting point is 00:00:54 I know what a bear looks like and there is no way on this planet that what I saw were bears. What are you reporting? See him. Hello. Get somebody out here. What's going on now, sir? That son of a bitch is about six foot nine. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Do you see him now, sir? Yes, I'm looking right in it. Uh-oh. This is the best podcast in the whole world. I'm Lily, and you're watching Sasquatch Chronicles. Welcome to the show, everyone. Thanks for being here tonight. Got a great show plan for you.
Starting point is 00:02:13 We'll be chatting with Frank. and 14 years ago Frank was actually out hunting with a good friend of his when a very strange event happened and I'll kind of let Frank go into it. Many years later Frank would actually see one of these creatures and the behavior is shocking and I'll let Frank go into it. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email. Starting point is 00:02:52 Let's jump into it tonight. I want to welcome Frank to the show. Frank, thanks for coming on. Thank you. Yeah, and I'd like to kind of start from the beginning, Frank, in this incident that happened to you and a friend of yours about 14 years ago. If you would, just kind of start from the very beginning. What were you doing and what happened? Okay, I was in, that was in 2010.
Starting point is 00:03:21 I was 50 years old at the time. And then I had a customer that I met named Richard and he hunted because I talked to him and I went by the call on him. And so we started talking about hunting. He decided to join the club. Well, I had been a member of the club for a few years. I mean, I was a member like 25 years total. and he joined the club, and we started riding up to Millageville, Georgia. And that one morning, opening weekend of gun season, usually like the first week in October,
Starting point is 00:03:55 him and I went, there was always 10 members in the club, and him and I went with only two on the property that day. And he didn't like tree stands, so he was going to walk down past the camp area where we part and sit on a big rock overlooking a creek bottom down below that dropped off about 50 yards deep. And I was going to branch off to the left of the woods and sit on a tree stand overlooking the same creek just around the curve in the woods. And I said, if you get something, come get me, and I'll get down and help you get it out of the woods. Well, you know, he was 65 years old, so I figured he might need some help. So, I guess, and it was starting to rain in the mist a little bit. And I said that here's a key to my truck.
Starting point is 00:04:47 So if you get wet or get cold, go back and crank the truck up and turn the heater on. So about 9.30, I hear his gun go off. You hear the rifle crack sound in the woods. And then I waited for about half hour. I hadn't heard of him. So I got down and went looking. And I came back, I had to come back past my truck. go to where he was going in the woods,
Starting point is 00:05:11 and I saw him sitting in the truck already. So I walked up to the door, and I went to open it, and I saw him jump, like he scared him to death. So I pointed to the door lock. He leaned over, and I locked the door. And I sat in and said, ooh, I said, it's getting cold out there. And I looked over at him, and I said, what's going on? He said, he looked over at it, and he looked like he'd been crying.
Starting point is 00:05:36 He had tears running out. face and he had the real bloodshot eyes and all that. I thought, what's happened to you? And he says, I just don't know what to do. And he kept repeating it. I don't know what to do. I just don't know what to do. And I thought he was having maybe a nervous breakdown or something. I said, are you having chest pains or are you hurting? He says, no. I says, I just don't know what to do. I said, Richard, where's your gun? Because he had a brand new Marlon lever action. And that was the the first day he was going to use it. And he says, I don't know where the gun is.
Starting point is 00:06:12 I must have dropped it. And so I said, okay, I'll go looking for it. You stay in the truck. So I went down the road. I took my 44-magnum revolver out of my hand and put it in my hand because I didn't know what I was going to see down there in case I saw a deer or something. And I got down there to the end where the rock was
Starting point is 00:06:32 and there was his rifle laying in the mud. And I brought it back and it was laying in the mud. the clay. I brought a bag, wiped it off, put it in the back of my truck. And then I said, why don't we go on back to the motel and get cleaned up out of these, get out of these wet clothes, we'll get lunch, and then we'll wait until the rain stops. We'll go back. So we came back to the place, got some food, went to the motel room, and while we were sitting there eating, I said, tell me, why did you drop your gun? What happened? And I had to, and I had to, and I had to, Actually, I remember one thing.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I remember he actually must have peed in his pants, but I could smell urine or ammonia smell when he got in the truck. He didn't even realize he had done that. And so I guess it scared him so bad. But he said that when he shot a hog walking down the creek, it knocked the hog over, it kicked for a few seconds, and it got up and took off running. And the second he fired the gun at the bottom of the creek where there was a bunch of bush. this big old thing stood straight up. And instantly it looked right up at him, like it knew right where he came from, the sound. And he said it pulled like his top lip back and showed his teeth three times to him.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And it just kind of startled him. And when he did that, he didn't know what he was looking at. He just panicked and dropped the gun. And he stood there, and then he turned around and ran and forgot his gun. and then he said the thing turned around and walked up the other side of the steep hill about halfway up it stopped and turned around and looked at him, shutting his teeth one more time, turned around and walked over the top of the ridge there onto the other people's private property.
Starting point is 00:08:28 And there was a lease right beside us. And that area where we were hunting, there was an area called Hickory Ridge, we called it. And that was the highest point in the woods. And if you got up there on Hickory Ridge, as far as you could see to the horizon, there's nothing but woods, trees, forest. And beside us was a place that it mined, it did some mining beside us. And right past that was the Beaver Dam Wildlife Management Area on Highway 112. So we had a big old hunting area down past there, and I had never seen nothing like that. He told me that.
Starting point is 00:09:14 And he said, what did it look like? And Richard was one of 17 kids. He grew up in Kentucky. And so he said, he's seen everything in the woods because they all had to farm, work on the farm, and hunt. Anything that walked, he said they shot it and ate it. And he said, he's seen everything in the woods. including bear, and they hunted bear up there in Kentucky. And he said, this wasn't no bear.
Starting point is 00:09:42 I said, what did it look like? He said, it looked like the thing he saw in the Star Wars movie when he watched it with his grandson. Now, the thing is, all those times he rode up together, we never talked about Bigfoot, we never talked about Star Wars. So out of the clear blue sky, he remembers this thing in Star Wars. And he said, okay, well, maybe if the rain stops, we'll go back to the woods to finish hunting this afternoon on Saturday afternoon. He says, no, I'm not going back. I said, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:10:18 He said, I'm not going back to the woods. I'm quitting the club. I said, well, you can't get your money back. I've done the lease money in. He says, well, just sell my lease. He says, I'm not going back. So we went home Sunday morning. We got to have a went home to Orlando, seven-hour drive back, and I dropped him off at his house.
Starting point is 00:10:45 And I didn't see him for about another month. I went by the scene on my sales route heading home. I passed his place, and he wasn't there. But his wife told me that he didn't hunt no more going out of the back. backyard into the woods. He put up a fence all the way around his property. And every time he came out of the house, out of a mobile home, he had a deck or in some patio furniture out there. He always came out with a pistol on his hip. And she said, even when he moved the grass, he had the gun on him. I never got to see him again because not long after that, he died. So I never got a chance after he, after he joined, after he joined. After he out of the club, I didn't see him hardly ever that much anymore. And so that was the thing about that. And he said that not to talk about that to anybody because he didn't want him as he's getting older for anybody to think he was losing his mind.
Starting point is 00:11:47 So I knew his son, his son's name was David, but I never told his son about it. And later on his wife passed away, I heard. So that was the end of that little deal. But, you know, I never expected anything like that to come out of him. And he had to have seen something the way he acted, that scared. Yeah, I feel for your friend, Frank. You know, Richard must have seen something to be that upset. And even his behavior after the whole hunting thing of building that fence and being armed constantly,
Starting point is 00:12:24 obviously affected him. You know, what was kind of going through your mind, Frank? I mean, here your buddy's telling you, hey, I saw this thing from Star Wars stand up. Basically, he's saying Chabaca. I mean, what was going through your mind when he was telling you all of this? Well, I heard that. I just kind of thought, oh, crap. I've been coming up here for so many years, and I used to come up there by myself, hunting.
Starting point is 00:12:52 And I kept thinking, man, if I'd have known that, I wanted to come up by myself. Two weeks later, I went back up there, and I met another friend in the club. We rode up together. And this is something that I didn't realize. I was coming out one night in the woods. He said, I'm going to come by on my ATV right at dark because my friend, he always wanted to come out right before dark. His name was Ken. And I said, Ken, if I'm waiting by the road, I'll go ahead and get on the ride and ride out with you on the four-wheeler.
Starting point is 00:13:28 But if you don't see me, just go on and I'll walk back to camp. So I heard him cranking up and leaving. He always wanted to come out before dark. And so I thought, well, I'm going to miss my ride, but I want to stay on my tree stand a little longer. Even after dark, I'm not going to shoot. But I want just to see if anything comes by. right after dark. Well, nothing came by. So I got out
Starting point is 00:13:53 and I got off the tree stand and walked back, the ATV trail, back to the main road. It's a single clay road through the woods. And as I started walking out, it was getting, it was already dark by then. I had a little
Starting point is 00:14:09 mini mag light flashlight, you know, two little double A batteries in it. And I turned it on so I wouldn't trip on sticks or limbs or anything. and as I got to the road, it started flickering like it was not going to work right. So I was walking. I kept messing with it, jiggling it in my hand, and I started tapping on it, and it fluttered a few more times, and the light went off.
Starting point is 00:14:34 So I stopped the full of the flashlight. The second I stopped, something to my left, probably about 20 feet in or so, just off the road where I couldn't see it through the brush in the night, something took an extra step. And I thought, what was that? Now, I know we had coyotes there before, because I'd heard them yipping at night. You hear them, they all start talking to each other, the coyotes.
Starting point is 00:15:01 Well, I thought, well, I don't think coyotes usually full of people. And I heard just, I just heard like one step extra. So I started walking, the light didn't come back on, but I could see the road in the dark walking out. and I decided to stop again to see if anything was over there again. And after I stopped it, it took one extra step again. I did that two more times. By that time, I was getting a little concerned,
Starting point is 00:15:36 so I pulled my 44-magnum revolver out walking down the road, so I'd have it out of my holster in case anything jumped on me. I was going to let them have it, because I didn't know what was follow me. Now, it paced me from the left side. I remember hearing your podcast later on, a few years later, that you said that if it's something like a Bigfoot, they don't come from behind, they come from the side.
Starting point is 00:16:07 And I kept saying, I see, I didn't know that until like three years later when I heard some of your podcast. But something was following me. for about a half hour. Every time I stopped, every few minutes, it would do it again. It would take an extra step. And so that concerned me. Then at that point, I never went back to the club by myself.
Starting point is 00:16:30 It's creepy, Frank. You hear about Sasquatch doing this where they will piece people out from the side, and they'll match you step for step. And they do mess up because every once while, if you stop, they'll take that extra step. and, you know, any other predator on the planet isn't going to come at your broadside. There's too much of a chance of getting hurt. You know, if you were going to ambush someone, you wouldn't come at them face on or from the side. You're going to come from behind or you're going to, you know, in some sort of ambush attack to where they don't see it.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Animals think the same way. Cougars will get you from above or get you from behind. What's weird about these creatures is you hear this behavior over and over and over again. again, and I'm not so sure that they're looking to attack someone because I've heard this behavior so much. I think it's more or less walking you out, a little intimidation, but to make sure you find your way out. When all this was going on, were you kind of reflecting back to what Richard had told you? Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I said, I wonder what that is. Because all the years I'd been on that club, I never had nothing to do that before. I had. I had, I had never seen a bear in all those years up there.
Starting point is 00:17:48 All I ever heard was the coyotes that was different. And I only saw a coyote all those years at one time in the daylight. So I didn't think one coyote is going to be following on one person. I thought if they were going to follow somebody, they'd probably be in a little pack or something. Because they're usually pack animals for hunting. And so that concerned me, and I never went back by myself after that. And I was a member that was the same year, 2010, just two weeks afterwards of what Richard saw. And then I stayed on the club until about 2016.
Starting point is 00:18:26 But I had a thing that happened in 2014. My neighbor crossed the street from me. We used to go out to a place that was called Rocket City. It was going to be a housing development for people over that worked on Cape Canaver where they launched the rockets. And it was a big area. The main road went down through it for miles. It was paved roads. And it had side roads crossing like every quarter mile.
Starting point is 00:18:55 And they had street signs. But in between the roads was nothing but woods. So you could go out there and you see deer crossing the road and hogs and stuff. So Jim and I went out there to go hunting. Jim got me into handgun hunting. So we carried our 44 magnums. And we got to the end of the road. road where dead ended, there was a bob wire fence. He said no hunting on the other side of the fence.
Starting point is 00:19:20 But the deer tracks and hog tracks, they would run along the fence line. And we were at the end of the road and Jim says to me, hey, come over here a minute. I said, what's up? He says, I don't know if we brought enough gun with us. So I kind of laughed, kind of sneaker to myself. And I thought, yeah, you know, we can stop anything with a 44 Magnum. And I got over there and looked at Jim, and he's pointing at the ground. And here are these tracks. They look like a big human foot track. And I wear a 14-wide hiking boot called high-tech.
Starting point is 00:20:00 And these tracks were one and a half times long as my shoe. And I felt, good heavens, what is that? Now, the thing on top of it was there were seven tracks going into a palmetta clump, a big bunch of palmetta about the size of a house, a big section. And you can see where animals have been going in, a trail worn down to the dirt, something in there. So I looked at the tracks. There were seven tracks, like a right, left, right, left, right, right, right. and on the outside of each foot
Starting point is 00:20:36 was an additional it looked like a small toe that came out on the foot and curled forward and it was on both feet the left one and the right went back and forth on both feet
Starting point is 00:20:49 all seven tracks you could see that extra toe now you know I thought what in the world is that and Jim says I don't know but he says he says you want to go in that clump of palmetters look, it's kind of dark in there. I said, no, I ain't got no flashlight, and I'm not about to go in there.
Starting point is 00:21:08 So we didn't go back out there. And the thing that's funny is, I used to go out there. They called it Rockets City, and they built, it was a place called Wedgfield, a golf course, and they were going to build a housing development. But all those streets were down there, and I didn't ever go back there by myself. I decided if there's something like that, let's see, this is as a after 2010, this was 2014. So now I have this idea in my mind about Richard seeing the Sasquatch, and now I see these big, huge feet. I've never seen a foot that big of my life. And this extra toe, that's got me concerned.
Starting point is 00:21:49 What is this thing? And nobody would place false tracks out in the middle of nowhere like that for somebody to see. The extra detail on the foot really fascinates me. So it had an extra toe coming out of the side of the foot, and you said you wore a size 14, and how much bigger were they than your foot? Say your right foot on the outside of the right side of your foot. It was about halfway back, and it came out and curled forward, like a smaller toe, additional toe. So it had the normal ones like a human with an additional toe, and it was on both feet.
Starting point is 00:22:32 Now, if somebody was going to fake a Sasquatch footprint, they wouldn't imagine an extra toe, I don't believe. And these things were one and a half times as long as my shoe, and I wear a 14-wide hiking boot. So I just decided I didn't, I wasn't going to go back out there myself anymore. And that was in 2014. 2015, Jim, my neighbor, develops liver cancer. And he, I didn't know how bad he was because he started living with his girlfriend because she was helping take care of him. Well, he lived across town in Orlando, and I came back that way on my sales route heading home at the end of the day on Thursdays. But I was going to wait to Friday night to go on there over to see him after work.
Starting point is 00:23:22 But since I was on that side of town, I said, I'll stop in and see Jim now. Well, I went in there, and I hadn't seen him for a few months. And he went downhill quick. And he asked his girlfriend, could she step outside the room? He wanted to talk to me in private. And that's when Jim said, did you ever tell anybody about the foot tracks we saw? I said, no, why? He says, he says, I know I'm dying of liver cancer.
Starting point is 00:23:52 He says, I didn't want you to say nothing to nobody about that because I didn't want them to hear about that after I was gone and think he was crazy. I said, no, Jim, I never said nothing to nobody about it. I mean, I'm telling you this now, but the people I know probably would never listen to a Bigfoot show. It wouldn't leave it, you know. And so I kept that between me and Jim. and I don't think he even told his girlfriend that and I never told anybody in my family about it and Jim died the next day
Starting point is 00:24:30 I got a phone call the next day he passed away so I'm glad I stopped by and caught him and talked to him before he passed away and then um 2016 I was on my sales route I had worked for an auto parts store and an engine rebuilder We built diesel engines.
Starting point is 00:24:51 And so I had to go around and call on garages and pick up engine work to bring back. And so I was leaving St. Cloud. If you went down 441 heading toward South toward Kissimmee, you have Kissimmee, then you're in the next town over St. Cloud. And 192 highway goes right through the middle of them. And it goes toward the coast in Melbourne, Florida, on the east coast. and so I left St. Cloud, and by the time I got over that way, as I was looking over, there's a lot of cattle pasture out there and just pasture land, Cypress heads of trees, and not much to look at it out there. There's some dead zones where the cell phone didn't even work. And I was going down the road, 55 miles an hour, and I just glanced over this pasture, and I just glanced over this pasture.
Starting point is 00:25:45 I saw a big old deer with a big antler, a set of antlers. So I pulled off the side I rode just to look at it because I was a hunter and I liked to see them. And I've never seen a deer with antlers that big. And this deer was out there in middle of this pasture grazing. And there was those big rolls of hay that are about eight feet high. There was three or four of them in that pasture right there. And I thought, hmm, I watched him for a little while. and then I went ahead and got back on the road
Starting point is 00:26:15 because I stopped there while I was sitting there and I ate my lunch. And the next week I came back through that same area. So the next time I brought my binoculars in case I could see some more deer. And I had some 8x42's ice, expensive, good binoculars, real clear. And I stopped and I said,
Starting point is 00:26:39 oh, there's some deer right there. And there were three big doze and two. small ones like earling doze, no antlers. Now this was in the fall, so if they were at bucks, they would have antlers by that time. They were all doze. And I noticed something afterwards. I paid attention to it when I thought about it. Those deer were all facing the same direction. Okay? Probably paying attention to the wind. Well, as I look back when my monoculars back and forth along the tree lines there, this thing steps out of the woods. And I kind of like, I thought to myself, what is that?
Starting point is 00:27:19 I was so shocked. And this thing looked about the size of like Shaquille O'Neal, the basketball player, that kind of a bill, not skinny but not big heavy, but it was taller. And it was covered with hair. and I watched it. I could see white on the face like a Caucasian white person. I could see a nose, but I saw it from the side view, and I noticed it was tiptoeing out, tipping, tiptoe and stepping real sneaky likes, like trying to sneak up on those deer. It came to the first bale of hay, and it stopped behind it.
Starting point is 00:28:04 But I remember, he held his arms by its sides, and his hands, his forearms were pointing straight out. In his hands, the fingers were spread real wide. Now, the left arm, which was facing me, had hair on the back side of the hand. I could see it with those binoculars, eight power. But the other hand, it looked wide on the inside, like a Caucasian white person's hand, that color, skin. And it tiptoed to that bale of hay, and it popped. his head up, looked around, and I kept dropping my binoculars down, looking at it with my eyes, and put the binoculars back up, and I saw it tiptoe over to the next bail of hay.
Starting point is 00:28:46 And I thought, boy, that's real strange. What in the world is this thing? And by this time, you know, I just can't believe what I'm seeing. And the next thing you know, it runs from the second bail of hay, and it runs over, and it, like a football player scooping up a football that's fumbled, he leans over, scoops it up, and starts running for the goal line. This thing picked up that deer, his arms wrapped around it, and the other deer, the four other deer, scattered in different directions. And this deer, all I remember, is making these bleat sounds and these, like, almost like honking sounds. I didn't know it was a sound a deer could make. I saw his head flopping around, the legs were kicking, and it ran into the tree line. And after that, I couldn't see it no more. Then I cranked
Starting point is 00:29:33 my truck to pull down the road. Now I'm on the shoulder of the road. I'm on to pull down further closer to those trees to look through the woods, but I couldn't see it. The trees were too thick. But those other deer scattered in different directions. And at that moment I thought to myself, what in the
Starting point is 00:29:49 world have I just seen? This is incredible. And I felt the way, you remember when 9-11, when the planes hit the buildings, I just felt kind of anxious. Like, you know, I've got to get home. And I just didn't even,
Starting point is 00:30:06 I felt like I needed to tell somebody back then. But there wasn't nobody I could tell about that, what I'd seen, because nobody would have believed you. I sure couldn't tell my boss. While I was on the road, I saw it look like a big foot running across the field and grabbed the deer. He'd have thought I was taking drugs or drunk or something. So I kept it to myself.
Starting point is 00:30:28 And that was the... The last thing I saw was that thing scooping that deer up. And I went by every week that direction, going to the coast. And after that, every time I carried binocrys, I never saw nothing again after that. Just that one time when it grabbed that deer. And I thought, wow, I wonder how many people. And what I noticed was, you know, I'm sitting up there on the highway in a pickup truck. And it didn't even pay no attention to me.
Starting point is 00:30:59 And I kept thinking, I should have blown me. my horn, maybe it would have scared the deer away and he wouldn't have called it. But I thought about that afterwards. That's when I remember the deer were facing one direction. So I stuck my finger in my mouth, got it wet, and I stuck it out the wind, and I felt the wind. And the wind was blowing from the deer toward the big foot-looking thing. It was blowing toward him. So the deer would have never smelled him coming up from behind. And that's why he came from behind. I apparently. And I realize all of this is happening very, very quickly. And I would imagine it would have been a few seconds you saw this thing as it snagged it here and took off. But when you were
Starting point is 00:31:44 watching this thing, Frank, what details kind of stand out to you? What are some of the attributes of this creature that you remember from that day? Well, like I said, he had a build about like a Shaquille-a-Neal, not skinny, but kind of heavy. But it still looked like a big, heavy-looking basketball player, that size, but bigger, taller in height because of the bale of hay, it was covered in air. It looked like a wolfman running out there in the pasture. And it was tiptoe, and like I said, that's the thing when I've heard you say about cases where they look around the tree and they're hiding from you and all. I believe I don't know if you want me to talk about that part
Starting point is 00:32:35 like I told you earlier but yeah and I'll ask you in a moment Frank what you think that these things are because I know that you have a pretty interesting theory on what they are but before we go into that
Starting point is 00:32:49 you know you're seeing this thing tiptoeing and I've heard that a handful of times I think from hunters every time where they'll just describe the same tiptoeing. And it's generally when they're coming up on something, like a hog or a deer, that sort of thing. I want to ask you, as you're watching this creature, how fast do you think it moved? I mean, compared to like a human. Obviously, this thing wasn't human, but I mean,
Starting point is 00:33:17 how fast did it move out to, it must have been to snag a deer? Right. When it tiptoe, it was like a human. Tiptoeing, like if he was sneaking up on somebody, you're going to be a roll. careful how you're stepping and up being real careful, like, in slow motion. But when it left that second bail of hay and it ran, this is what I remember thinking. You remember in the Matrix movie and some of those fight scenes or that guy's, the Matrix guy, you know, the, you know, what's that guy's name in the movie? He's fighting those guys in the black suits. That would be Neo, the one.
Starting point is 00:33:56 They seemed like they moved faster than normal. The leg motion, you know, like left, right, left, right. It seemed like it would move, it was moving faster than a regular person would move. And that's what surprised me. It just all of a sudden took off, and it ran so fast, the dear didn't even have time to react. And I was just amazed at the speed of it. And, you know, I don't know if that's ever common with those things,
Starting point is 00:34:25 but the speed of his leg motion amazed me. That's one thing I remember. Now, I remember the hands. When he was sneaking up to the first bail of hay, he had his fingers like spread wide, like you hold him the wide apart as you can, your fingers. In his hands, the second week I went back, I took my neighbors, he had a golf laser range finder for golfing
Starting point is 00:34:52 to tell how many yards it is to the T. And I took that thing, and it was 145 yards to the bail of hay. Now, I've got eight power binoculars. I can see it pretty good. And the hair was on the face up to the, almost to the top of the cheek bones. You could see just a little bit of white skin. The hair was kind of like all like it was all three to four inches, and it was a dark brown. I just remember the inside of the right hand
Starting point is 00:35:24 because he was holding his hands out. The inside of that one hand was real white, like a white person's hand. And the other hand, because I saw the back of it, was covered with hair. I didn't even notice the feet because I was watching his legs come up
Starting point is 00:35:43 me like he was tiptoeing. And I was thinking, look at that. He's being sneaky, whatever it is. it just didn't look like nothing I'd ever even thought I would ever see in my whole life I was so shocked to see it yeah when you see one of these creatures you know the word shock doesn't even really it doesn't do it justice when when you're seeing one of these things can i ask you frank i mean your buddy rich had seen one you'd found tracks and now you're seeing this saying how did this kind of affect you afterwards
Starting point is 00:36:18 Well, you know, over the years, I just couldn't get it off my mind. I've always been thinking about it. And ever since then, especially after I saw that thing in the pasture myself to grab the deer, I didn't get a cell phone until 2017. That's why I learned about the Internet. And I started asking every question in the world. I started looking up anything about Bigfoot's. And all this stuff started seeming to make sense of the things.
Starting point is 00:36:48 I had heard or seen. And I kept thinking, wow, this must be what that was. Because, and I never got it off my mind. And I remember I used to hunt the Ocala National Forest. And that's 386,000 acres. And I used to go up there by myself. And then I stopped going there by myself because nobody I knew hunted Ocala. None of my friends did.
Starting point is 00:37:15 So I'd go by myself. And I kept thinking, I don't need to be. be out here in the woods like this by myself, because I would stay in the woods till dark, then walk out. And I just, you know, I've kept it on my mind all this time. I mean, I wasn't obsessed with it, but, you know, I tried to look more and more and to find out more about it. And then one day, when I got my cell phone for the first time,
Starting point is 00:37:40 I guess I went on, I guess it was Google. I just typed in Southeast Bigfoot, encounters and it would show all kinds of listings and it would say you know 30 minutes here a hour and a half here and I started reading every one of them or it would tell you on the phone you know they would read to the stories and I started to listen to every one of them I could and I just always um it changed my hunting I just didn't hunt near as much anymore and I in 2016 I didn't go back to the lease, I actually just quit after that because some of the guys didn't want to go hunting that much in the lease.
Starting point is 00:38:25 They just saved it for like Thanksgiving and Christmas. And so I used to go opening day. I used to go up there in archery. Then I thought, man, I'd hate to be up there with just a bow and arrow. Something like that come up. And I just didn't realize, you know, I don't know what Richard saw the way he explained it to me. It sounds like that thing, Chabaca and Star Wars. but this thing I saw would have looked just like it, I think.
Starting point is 00:38:53 The hands were big. I remember the hands. They were very big-looking. And I just didn't realize they would have the intelligence to be sneaky like that, like tiptoeing in like that, trying to be quiet. Yeah, I would agree. I think they're a lot smarter than, you know, most people realize. and the tiptoeing thing is fascinating to me.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Like I said, I've only heard it a handful of times, but, you know, for me, it seems very like human-like behavior almost. You know, I ask everyone on the show, Frank, what do you think Sasquatch is? What's your take? I know you've kind of looked into the subject and kind of formulated your own opinion, and I'm curious to hear it.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Well, you know, I've heard all the podcast, And people say where they're all at, they're all around just about every continent. And I know my idea is going to sound a little different than most people's. And I know some people think the government's involved in it, and I don't think that. I think, like since the beginning of time, pro-magnum man, Neanderthal man, I think everybody, and like people went out west during the Indian days and cowboy days, people will be at their homestead and they'd be out by themselves. I think it is humans that have birth defects due to incest.
Starting point is 00:40:27 And reason I say incest, incest has a lot of oddballed birth defects. And I remember you saying, or on your podcast, people talk about some of them look like they had Down syndrome or their faces just didn't look right. And one of the common things of incest is Down syndrome. And also, hypertricosis is a birth defect that gives you the complete body hair all over, and you can't get rid of it. And I talked about having giantism, which is your paternity gland, is overactive, and people grow to, like Robert Watt.
Starting point is 00:41:11 low 8 foot 11. You combine him with hypertricosis and you have what looks just like a Sasquatch. Now, there's also, I remember in some of the podcast, while I was doing some more reading, there's myostatin. There's a protein in the body in your genetic makeup and myostatin regulates the amount of muscle strength and size you have. And if your myostatin level is not Correct. You can have a lot more muscle than a regular person. Like some of these Sasquatches that people have talked about that looked real like a bodybuilder. They had so much muscle because the myostatin level wasn't the right level to limit muscle mass in size. And it said the average person in average male United States is 5 foot 9, 197 pounds. Well, if myostatin level is wrong, it could be another birth defect that happens.
Starting point is 00:42:16 That's when you have a big foot with a lot more muscle than others because of the myostatin level. And I'm tying these things together, but they're all possible. Now, this is something I haven't heard people talk about a lot. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes, total of 40. The grade 8th, gorillas, have 24 pairs of chromosomes. Now, I don't know, but, you know, people say it couldn't happen, but what if during the embryo process when people are developing, what if the chromosomes get messed up?
Starting point is 00:43:01 What if they get humans and they develop 24 pair of chromosomes? Or what if the male chromosome is from the ape and the female chromosome is from a female human during the genetic makeup when it's being developed? So what are they going to look like? Can they have some characteristics of an ape with a human? Are they going to have longer arms? Are they going to look a little different? I don't know. But, you know, all I know is doctors and all, they'll say, oh, that can't happen or birth defects.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Nobody can predict birth defects. Now, this is something I remember from your podcast that I wanted to tell you about. I remember hearing on the podcast about those oblong skulls in what was that Peru? Yeah, I think you're talking about the elongated skulls. They find them more than just in Peru, but I think that's what you're referring to. Okay. Now, my sister was born in 1968. When she was 12 weeks old, my parents took her to the doctor.
Starting point is 00:44:22 And the fontainelle, the soft spot on top of your head, hers was closing too fast. And they said, you're going to have to go to a neurologist. She's got a problem. And so they sent my parents to a neurologist, and he said, if we don't do surgery on her skull, her head is going to be football shaped, and she'll have Down syndrome. Now, he took care of the problem. He cut an inch of her skull out, inch wide, seven inches long on the top of her skull.
Starting point is 00:44:59 And, of course, they stapled it and closed it up with stitches. And she grew back fine, and she's normal. But if he hadn't done that, she had had a football-shade's head. And that makes me think, I never saw these pictures of these elongated skulls. They don't know how big they were. And they say, well, it can't be a normal human because the brain capacity is bigger and the skull is thicker. Well, here again, and a birth defect, who knows why you don't have. have more brain capacity if your head's not shape right.
Starting point is 00:45:38 I like people who think outside of the box, Frank, and I can appreciate that thought you put into this. You know, I'm just sitting here thinking, you know, the elongated skulls, they don't find them only in Peru. They actually find them around the world. And the reason why they're so intriguing and why people are looking into it is the actual skull itself has a larger capacity. and then people in the area would copy it from birth.
Starting point is 00:46:07 They would alter their children's skull to kind of match whatever these things were. But, you know, when you wrap a school or you change someone's school, it doesn't change the capacity that a brain could be in there. Now, with these elongated schools, they claim that the brain capacity was much larger. But, you know, if you take your head from a soccer ball, to a football shape, the capacity is still going to be the same. It's not going to change. And the other thing I was thinking about, Frank, is, you know, birth defects. You would have to have consistent birth defects like hypertricosis or gigantism in order to, and it would have to be consistent
Starting point is 00:46:54 for the offspring to have that. And I'm not so sure, you know, if my father had hypertricosis or, you know, I came from a family of people who had giganism. I would suppose my odds of getting it are much higher, but I don't think it's consistent with defects as opposed to talking about these creatures' attributes. I'm just kind of thinking out loud. What are your thoughts on that, Frank? All right. The paternity glands a master gland.
Starting point is 00:47:29 It controls everything in the body. So if it's mixed up, who knows how many problems you're going to have. You can't predict that. You can't say, well, if the peturicane glands messed up, you're just going to have one problem. You can have multiple problems. And like the hypertricosis can be passed on. Now, there's another condition called hercetism. And that's when people, like a woman, is more dominant in women.
Starting point is 00:48:00 and that is when you see a person they can have excessive hair on their butt on their thighs and they can have the beard on their face like in the old days you see the bearded lady at the fair most cases were that was a real woman with a complete
Starting point is 00:48:18 mustache and complete full beard because she had hercetism and that's another defect in the human body and that's I just think and this is why I think because of the incest idea. It's happened, all right, like emperors in China, the pharaohs in Egypt.
Starting point is 00:48:40 They used to talk about the royal family. Everybody kept their bloodlines pure. So along the way, people were marrying cousins and sisters and other things, and that's why I think a lot of this stuff happens because that was going on in every country in the world. people kept their bloodlines pure and all the things I'm saying are actually possible and it's not just a wild idea you know these are things that could physically happen yeah and I don't want you to think I'm beating up your theory frank by any means I'm just
Starting point is 00:49:21 kind of thinking as you're as you're talking I mean it is a fascinating theory for sure I, you know, I don't, I'm not a medical doctor, so I can't really discuss, you know, what happens when people, when there's incest and there's a childborn, I know there's defects. But, you know, even in ancient history, when you look at the royal family doing that, the offspring seems to be weaker and, you know, not so healthy and not doing so well. These creatures, I mean, you saw one run down a deer. grab it and run off into the woods. It makes me wonder, you know. It is an interesting theory, though, for sure. A lot of people think that these things are human, and when you see the size and the hair, and there's definitely something going on there.
Starting point is 00:50:12 I wanted to ask you, Frank, as far as your encounter goes, and these experiences that you've had throughout your life, if you ever had the chance, would you want to see another one? Yes. but I want to be like I was before or away from it because I wouldn't want to be in close quarters with it
Starting point is 00:50:33 I'd be too afraid I wouldn't want to be that close to one and I remember your situation I mean I can't I can't imagine why people if they were in close quarters would I ever want to be in the woods after seeing that thing it kind of stopped my hunting yeah a lot of people give up hunting for sure
Starting point is 00:50:58 Even, I mean, going back to your buddy Richard that saw that one when you guys were hunting there in 2010, he was like, I'm not coming back. That's a lot of people's reaction. You know, if you ask the same people, though, would you want to see another one? Usually the answer is yes. They'll answer how you did, Frank. You know, it's, yeah, I would like to see one, but from a distance, which, you know, makes the most sense. No one wants to be up close and personal with one of these things. You know, Frank, your encounter where you saw pick up that deer and take off running, I interviewed
Starting point is 00:51:33 this preacher one time from Texas, and he had filmed this thing running across his farm early morning. He wasn't sure what it was. He thought it was a man, but it was running too quick. And he shot it with his iPhone. I watched it over and over and over again. And what was weird about it is I was like, what is on this thing's shoulder? They had something wrapped over its shoulder. And I was like, oh, it's a deer. And this thing's running across this field at a high speed with this deer over its shoulder. And it steps over like a five or six foot tall fence, no problem with the deer.
Starting point is 00:52:15 And then takes off. It just really reminded me of your encounter. But again, I hope you. don't think I'm beating up on your theory by any means. I think a lot of people think that they're human. You know, they have the feeling that these things are something along the lines of us. And I understand the way you feel about this thing being human in your theory about the defects. Human with Earth defects, hypertricosis. They can, now you know, you hear about the big foots, you hear them, people say
Starting point is 00:52:53 that it's no animal I, no screaming in the woods. Well, if they have the birth defects, they also might not have fully developed vocal cords. That's why they holler or scream because they can't do anything else. And I think they would use that screen probably trying to locate another one. And that's why, now you think about one thing.
Starting point is 00:53:14 I remember you said on several cases, they would come up and tap on a kid's window. I believe, like the Indians back in the old days in the West, the chief would probably have his pick of the females and the tribe. But most Indians were against incest. But I'm sure they'd have to fight the chief. And he was usually the biggest guy, biggest or the toughest. And that's why he was the chief. And so they stuck to themselves in their own tribes, their own groups.
Starting point is 00:53:48 and that's when that interbreeding started happening again. And I think that's why the Indians knew of them, but they didn't fit in with the tribe so they were outcasted, but they never heard them. They just kind of, they knew they were out there, and they left them alone. And that's because they were part of their tribe originally. And you talk about, what if a person has one, and a child's cover with hair like that, like hypertricosis,
Starting point is 00:54:22 that kid's not going to go to school. It's going to be kept at home. And then one day the thing starts growing, getting bigger, and it's out of control, and they can't make it behave. And so they take it down the road and drop it off in the woods. And next thing you know, that thing, that creature used to live in a house with other kids, he comes back to houses and taps on the window because he saw children there. I don't think they're hunting children.
Starting point is 00:54:51 I think it's something they remember. I would believe a lot of people would just dump them off somewhere and let them go. And they would, you know, turn feral immediately and start hunting for wherever they can. You know, a dog, a domestic dog can be turned in the woods. And just they say in a few months' time, he's completely feral. And he's finding anything he can find to eat and stay alive. And I would believe that's probably a reason why they come up to people's houses and stuff because they remember. And this is why I think part human is because of their ability to be sneaky and hide behind things and try to not be seen.
Starting point is 00:55:38 That's the part of reasoning that a wild animal wouldn't do like that. like you said before, they would try to either, they'd either charge you, they'd run away. They wouldn't try to sneak in on you like that because they're trying to have some sort of ability to reason. Yeah, there definitely seems to be a humanity in these things, for sure. It's hard to argue that there's not a form of humanity in these things. And like I said before, Frank, I really like hearing everyone's opinions on what these things are, whether I agree or disagree. You know, when I disagree, it makes me start thinking.
Starting point is 00:56:17 And so, you know, I appreciate that. And I really appreciate you taking the time to come on and share what happened to you and portions of your life. I really enjoyed chatting with you. Well, I appreciate you calling me back. I was hoping you would so I could get this off my mind. And, yeah, I'll continue to listen as long as you have it. Thanks again, Frank. And that's it for tonight.
