Thomas writes "Hey wes longtime listener I live in cle elum wa I had a sighting in 1976 when I was 9 so if interested get ahold of me 😁." Spoke to the witness and he has agreed to come on the show. He said "My older sister wanted to go have a smoke and she was not allowed to smoke. We hiked through the forest when I came upon this creature and it was squatted down. I heard the growl before I saw it. I am about 8 feet away and the creature went from a crouched position to standing up and it seemed like she went up and up and up. It had a lot of human features but the mouth went from ear to ear. I could not believe how big the mouth was. I staring at it and it is staring at me and my sister grabs me and we take off running. My aunt later told me that "it" lives in her barn, she saw it many times." We will also be speaking to Gil and Gil writes "In 1987 when I was fifteen years old and on my way home one late night or early morning on my moped and one stepped into the road right in front of me and stopped directly in front of me and I almost hit him. I was so close to him I could have touched him. From the first to the last, my latest sighting I saw a family , being a large male and female who was just a foot shorter than the male, and she was carrying a little one, it was less than a mile from my home , they had glowing red eyes and the little one had glowing white eyes. they crossed the road in front of me and then stopped on the side of the road."

It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind and it either heard me or smelt me and he pulled his head out of the tent and stood straight up and that shocked me. They don't make people that big. The way it moved, almost as if it was gliding across the beach. I've never seen anything moves like that in my life. They were screaming at each other in gibberish. It sounded like a language and they were chuntering away back and forwards, back and forwards, back and forwards.

I know what a bear looks like and there is no way on this planet that what I saw were bears. Everyone, what are you reporting? Get somebody out here. What's going on now, sir? That's son of a bitch is about six. Bitch is about six foot nine, I don't know. Do you see a bouncer? Yes, I'm looking right in.

He's out in the forest. with his older sister, and they come face to face with one of these creatures. It was actually a female, and I'll let Thomas go into it. And then we'll be chatting with Gil, and Gil comes to us from Northern Michigan, and back in 1987, he's 15 years old, he's on his moped, and he almost hits one of these creatures. 38 years later, he moves back to Northern Michigan, and he sees something very strange. And I'll let Thomas go into it. I'm actually going to grab a clip from episode 716. It was a police officer Jack from Virginia. And he saw something very similar to what Gil saw. I want to welcome Thomas to the show. Thomas, thanks for being here. Oh, thank you. Yeah, and your encounter took place here in Washington. Take me back to 1976. What were you doing and what happened? Well, we were at a family reunion up with my grandma's house, and the whole family was there, of course. And my sister, she was, I think she was six or seven years older than me, and she was smoking, and she didn't want mom to know she was smoking, so she used to take me with her, so I wouldn't tell on her, you know.

You know, make me a part of the problem. We went and walked down the road, my aunt, my grandma lived in a, she had a big farm there, and she gave my aunt some property right next door, and they were building the cabin. So we were walked down there to take a look at the cabin to see the progress. And walking down there, and Rhonda was smoking away, and she's kind of a bigger girl at the time. And so we weren't moving too fast through the brush.

And she was off to my right as we were walking down there, and we could smell, honestly, They smelled like somebody garbage got tipped over by the dogs, you know. So I was looking to my left to see if I seen their garbage cans tipped over. And I heard a growl, a real deep, deep growl. And I turned my head to the front. And just about that time I heard my sister say my name and not eight feet away from me there, there she was, right in front of me. And at the time, it scared the heck out of me, but I just stood there.

I couldn't move, you know. And she was squatted down. I'm not quite sure what she was doing. I think she was trying to observe us. But it was her mouth. Her mouth was huge and she had hair on her face. And at first I thought it was a male until she stood up. It's just unbelievable.

She had hair on her face. Her mouth was just, you could put a couple softballs in her mouth. She had a giant mouth. And, you know, her thin lips, her mouth, the edges of her mouth went from one, just about look like one ear to the other. I didn't get to see her ears, of course, but, and she had a conical head, and she was dark, dark brown. At the time, I didn't know what was going on,

but my sister was coming up behind me to grab me, to take off, and she stood up when my sister come up behind me, she grabbed me and yanked me out of there, and we ran home, you know, and got the heck out of there. She, she, at the, now did I think about it, she uh the brow i think was just to let us know that she was there i don't think it was to be mean or you know she was going to eat me or anything but at the time i didn't know what to think it just scared me and her it's her size that scared me her her just massive this size and and and just

was able to sit there and just be quiet i didn't even know she was there and uh my sister grabbed me and the next thing i know i'm looking at the tops of my feet you know know, because she yanked me back so hard, and she jumped a fence, and she had me in tow. And we ran all the way back to my grandma's house and told the family about it. And they all started laughing at us and giving us a hard time. My dad worked for a warehouser for 20-something years. And he was really angry at me for some reason, probably for saying I've seen one. But I never did get to find out before he passed away.

I never did get to find out why he was so angry, you know. but yeah that was quite deciding. It's not a real long one, but it was interesting nonetheless. My sister, my mom has six sisters, and my aunt lived next door to my grandma. And after everything settled down after everybody got done picking on us, my aunt leaned over. She never did have any kids.

She had money. You know, you kind of stayed away from her because, you know, you're just afraid of her, you know. But she leaned over to me and she says, she's living in my backyard in my barn and that about floored me I about fell over and me and her was the only ones I was able to hear that from

which I found interesting she ended up being my favorite aunt after that one but yeah it was quite exciting and I guess she lived there for maybe two or three years and then she disappeared nobody's seen her after that or my aunt didn't see her after that but I think the only reason she stood up was because my sister was actually running towards me,

towards her to grab me and I, you know what I mean? Or she probably would have just stayed right into where she was at. But I didn't really get a good chance to look at her body just because, you know, my sister was getting me out of there. But I remember the face. Her skin was dark, her skin was dark, kind of a gray, kind of like a battleship gray. I guess you could say.

And her just the size of her mouth was huge. And her eyes were pretty big. Her eyes were dark, dark colored. And she kind of looked shocked as well, I guess. You could think she just kind of just didn't really give me much of anything. She's just looking at me, you know. And I was looking at her. And that's about all I can remember.

it was crazy. And I've worked, you know, I grew up, joined military. After I got in the military, I was working up on Winanti up in Winanti National Forest up on Blue It Pass. And I remember sitting there on the landing, eating lunch, you know, and I could hear tree knocks right off the landing. But I never thought about it like an idiot. I didn't even think about it.

The wind was blown a little bit. I thought, well, maybe a limb fell out of a tree, but it just kept going. you know, so I just never put two and two together. I wish I would have now. But I remember going up and taking, we had another Clark skitter. I'd go up there and get a turn the logs, and then I'd get this really creepy feeling.

The hair would start standing up on the back of my neck, and it's like, you need to get out of here. So I jump on my skitter and get the heck out of there. Just every once in a while you get that feeling, you know. I appreciate you sharing it, Thomas. I know it was kind of a brief sighting, but I'm always curious why they don't, attack, you know, if you run up on any other animal on the planet and it starts growling

and you're that close, you're in trouble. You know, it makes you wonder, your aunt obviously knew it was there. And you said your dad was angry? I'm not sure why he was so angry. He worked for Wellhauser at a veil and Yelm for many years. And I'm not sure why he was so mad. You just kind of, you know, I mean, it didn't last long. Of course, it was a family reunion, but I kind of took me by surprise because my dad was kind of an even-keeled, mellow guy.

And I don't know why he got to. I don't know if he wanted, he was afraid I'd get teased about it so much or something. I'm not sure, honestly, Wes. I'm not sure. Yeah, and I know when we were talking earlier, you didn't get a chance to really have that talk with him before he passed away. Makes me wonder if it was like a warehouser type thing. because during this time frame, they were pretty hard on their employees when their employees would run into stuff like this.

And if your aunt knew about it, I'm sure your dad knew it was there. You know, he was probably thinking great. You know, his career's on the line because his son saw one. I mean, it could have been that. I really don't know. Later in life, did you ever get a chance to talk with your sister as far as her perspective and what she saw? Yeah, yeah.

She said she's seen, apparently she's seen him, seen her before I did. I was just a dumb kid traveling to the woods and I wasn't really paying much attention to where I was going. But she said she's seen something behind a tree and she stopped. And I just kept walking so it growled. And she said that was, you know, that was, that was when she just flipped out and she ran over to grab a hold of me and yank me out of there and get me the heck home, you know. But of course, you know, I told my mom when we got back, what is? It happened. And my mom, you know, she's five-fit-nothing.

She walked down there to make, you know, to see what was going on. Well, you know, and she was gone by then. But, but I walked back there when I got a little bit older. I walked back and there's a, there's a golly. We call it a gully. It's, you know, where a crook runs down there. And there's, there was water that actually runs right out of the side of the hill right there. Like a, I guess it would be an Archesian well or something.

But it ran right out of the side of the hill and quite a bit of water. So I wondered if that's why she was back there. She had water and, you know, there was fish and ducks and everything down there in that pond. So, you know, a good place for her to live, I suppose. But, yeah, it was crazy. And, you know, every once in a while you'd get a feeling when I was at my grandma's house, you'd be walking around out in the woods and you'd get a feeling like you shouldn't be there. So I'd just turn around and beat feet back to the house because I used to fish in that pond.

But I would stay away from that area. didn't want to go down there, you know. But yeah, it was quite deciding. I was telling you earlier, I'm always amazed that they don't attack more people in situations like this where they just come right up on top of them. And even your sister are kind of making that motion of moving forward to grab you, you know, and they don't, they don't attack. And I mean, 99% of the time they don't attack and I'm always wondering why. You know, it's like I said earlier, man, you live here in Washington State. You come across and start a black bear or a cougar.

You're in trouble. I mean, they're probably going to attack you. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know why she didn't do anything. And yeah, I've heard some people say, yeah, they were there, but they never touched me or they chased me out of the woods or, you know, I don't know. That's a good question. And I don't think I was on the menu that day.

I hope I wasn't. But she growled. But now that I think about it, it wasn't a mean growl. It was, I think it was just to let me know she was there, you know. And I know they're not as hard on kids, or maybe they are. But she just, she stood, she kind of stood up and took a step back when my sister was running up behind me. So I don't know what the heck was going on, but she grabbed me, yank me out of there. I didn't get a chance to find out.

I wish I could have stayed. I probably would have stood there a little longer to see. But, you know, wild animals, don't really want to linger too long. And I think I might have missed it in the beginning, but was this your parents' property or was it your grandparents' property? My grandma's, yeah, my grandparent. It was my grandma's property. She owned quite a bit up there, and she sold it off through the years. and but yeah she owned quite a bit of that area up there at the time so there wasn't a whole lot of people up there either

he had a dairy farm for many years we were one of the first people to have a dairy delivery service in cleveland here in the town so yeah you know cleelem is pretty notorious for sightings even up until this day uh did your grandparents ever talk about it i never got to meet my grandpa he he passed away before i was born, but my grandma, occasionally she would mention, you know, something out in her barn, but she never seemed to be bothered by it. It never really phased her. She had chickens, and she, now that I'm, I know her chicken coop was like, you know, Fort Knox. You'd have a hard time getting in there.

And I always wondered why she overbuilt it so much. And now, I suppose it makes sense. But back then, it was like, geez, grandma, you know. go out and get the eggs and it's like, you know, trying to get into a fort. Yeah, I was telling Lila on last night's show, she grew up on her grandfather's property. And if you watch how the people act, I mean, they'll, in subtle ways, they'll tell you something's going on. Like you mentioned, the chicken coop. You know, your dad, even working for Warehouser, he must have known.

And growing up on this property, he must have known they were there. he had to have he had to have and i i don't know if he was afraid of it getting out you know to people or maybe he was just trying to watch out for me so i wouldn't get ridiculed i don't know i honestly don't know it's just strange the aunt that was telling you oh they live behind my house in the barn did you ever have conversations with her about what she had seen um her husband was a a bread man he delivered bread so they were up all night and slept during the day and during the holidays we'd have to wait for him to get up so we can have dinner you know and uh she said he's been or well she called he it's actually she but she's been living back there

for several years and she just let her do her thing she never bothered her she'd sit in her kitchen or dining room and she had a big picture window there to the backyard and where the barn was she'd sit at there in night and she walked by and she wouldn't say a word and it never bothered her as far as I know. And they just let her live back there. And so it was, the whole thing is strange, you know. The whole thing was kind of a strange thing. But, you know, a lot of people around here, it's a matter of fact.

You know, they know they exist. You know, they don't have an issue. If you don't believe it, it's a you problem, you know. So I don't, it did affect me. I don't camp much. I don't go camping. I quit. I don't hunt much unless it's from the road, you know.

I don't do that because if I run into a mail, you never know what's going to happen, you know. So I've been kind of, I keep to myself as far as that's concerned. I don't go camping or if I do. I go into a hotel or something. But, yeah, it's affected me that way, but in any other way, it's not really bothered me much. Yeah, well, I could understand how it would affect you.

You know, it makes me wonder if, generally speaking, they're never alone. But there is occasions where they are on people's property where there is just one. I wonder if it was just her or if there was more than one at the time. Yeah, I wondered the same thing if she had kids or there's a big male around. But I never got to see them if there was. And every once in a while, you'll hear a noise out. You know, you hear or used to, you don't know, but you'd hear a scream or a knocker. And, you know, I never put two and two together.

I was just a kid. But now, now it's kind of be kind of interesting to listen in here, you know. But there's so many people moved here now that it's not like it used to be. Well, you know, that part of Washington, even up until this day, I get a ton of reports that come out of there and around the town. And he did a really good job at explaining what you saw. What do you think that they are? I think they're an animal. I do.

I can't say anybody else is wrong, but I just think they're, you know, like an undiscovered primate, something, you know, something we haven't found yet or caught up to. I know they're out here to this day, but I don't think they've got any special gifts, I guess I should say. But, you know, there's been a lot of talk about them maybe being, you know, coming down in spaceships and you never know.

But I just think they're just another animal, you know, a primate, I should say. I don't think. I think they're smarter than animals. I think they've got more brains. Yeah, I definitely get the way you feel. Can I ask you kind of going back to when you were a little boy looking at this saying, was there anything human about the face? Yeah, yeah. Actually, the face wasn't animalistic. Hooded nose, it was kind of flat and squished.

The mouth just kind of blew me away. Just a giant mouth. And I remember that one gentleman talking about, he remembers seeing the pink in the nose. I can't remember his name. But yeah, I was able to see the pink with black pigment inside the nose. I was able to see that. but yeah I wish I would have remembered more you know features at the time but I was just

I couldn't even move I was stuck to where I was at. Looking back now when she kind of got out in front of you and stood up how tall do you think she was? When she stood up she looked like she was 50 feet tall but I think she was probably only seven and a half eight feet tall as all and she was kind of skinny honestly for her size she didn't look like she was eating all that great, but it was, you know,

it was, this happened in July. So the crops were just getting to get going good, you know, so probably in August, she probably looked pretty, pretty healthy, but she looked like she was a runner,

if that makes sense. She had to run her look, a little skinnier, you know, it didn't look like she had a whole lot of fat on her. But, but I was, you know, I was so scared that I could have missed a lot.

I wasn't very far away. I was only about eight feet away from her. She could easily just reached out and grabbed me and, you know, twist would be in half, but she didn't. She just kind of, and then what surprised me was my sister was running up, which I didn't know at the time, but she stood up and took a step back. So I don't know. I don't know. It was weird.

I don't know what the heck was going through her head. You know, hey, there's a crazy human running up to me, you know. I'm amazed my sister was able to run towards it to grab me, to be honest with you. I probably would have turned and just ran the heck out of there. But she ran up and made sure she grabbed me. She probably was afraid she was going to get in trouble for mom and she left me standing there. It was nuts.

I was muted out, but I was busting up when you were explaining your sister's, the theory on what your sister did and why he, did it and you may not be far off man she may she probably didn't want to go back and kind of explain what happened to you a 49 years later man I really appreciate you taking the time to come on and share what happened to you you bet west thank you very much next up on the show i want to welcome gill gill thanks for coming on yes no problem thanks and i know in your email you had talked about this weird thing you'd seen recently but you had this encounter back in 1987, you're 15 in northern Michigan.

If you would just kind of start from the beginning, take me back to 1987. What were you doing and what happened? So it was the middle of summer. I was 15 and I had a moped. And I worked in this town. It was about 30 miles from where I was living at. So I would take my moped back and forth to work. And this time, when I left for work that day, it was hot out.

So I really, I didn't bring a jacket, which I regret later on that night. But after work, I ended up hanging out with some of the waitresses and this and that. So it was kind of late when I was headed, taken off to head home. It was 3.30 when I looked at the clock when I was leaving. When I was leaving, it's Frankfurt, it's the name of the town where I was working at. And it's about a half hour trip on the moped. So anyways, I'm on my way home. I leave at 3.30 in the morning. And I'm coming to this first little, there's a little town in between where I was living and where I left. from a little town called Arcadia.

It's really, really small. It's got like a bar and a post office, and that's it. No gas station, nothing like that. So anyways, I'm coming into that town. It's cold out, and I could feel the dew starting to come in. So it was getting really cold, really cold on me. And so I'm coming around this.

this section is all woods and it's right before a little turnoff a little scenic turnoff where you can stand there on the bluff and take pictures of, you know, whatever, like Michigan. And I'm coming around this corner

and it's it was really dark out there. It really wasn't much for a moonlight that night. It was, I don't know, I guess it called her a thing back then. This thing took two steps from the left side of the road,

one two steps and stopped right in the middle of the road, right in front of me. And it happened so fast, and it was so close that I almost wiped out trying to swerve to avoid it, to avoid hitting it. And it was, I was, I would have to guess probably nine, at least nine feet, maybe eight, but I'd say it was taller than that.

It was bigger, like about nine feet tall. And it was totally covered in really long, kind of, just like shaggy hair. And it was, to me, it looked kind of blondeish from what the headlight of the moped shining on it. for that brief second, it stopped right there in front of me, facing me. It put its like knuckles or hands, whatever, down on the ground and kind of like got down in this like, you know, kind of like a football stance kind of looking thing. And then this part here, I don't know if I'm thankful for it or not, but the hair, it had this really long, like the long shaggy hair, the hair on its totally covered its face.

It looked like if, you know, like some long-haired person were to stand there and, you know, kind of head, do the head, you know, jam, whatever and stop. And then all their hair covers their face, you know, that's, that's what it looked like. so I didn't get to see a shot of the face. And I don't know, sometimes I kind of feel like I'm kind of glad it didn't. But yeah, and it was, I would have to say blondeish, blondeish color. And there was a branch sticking out of cotton hair on its right side. and because I could see leaves like twigs that were caught in his hair. It kind of looked like it was, if it didn't just come out of the water,

it was the way it kind of lit up and with the light on it, it almost appeared kind of wet, if you know what I mean? Like the way it was a little shiny, the way the hair grouped together almost like it had some of it was like dreadlockish or knatted it was

it was just feet a couple of feet in front of me I mean I could have it could have just reached out and grabbed me I was right there it was right next to me I mean I just I just missed it when I swerved to go around it

Because when it came out and stepped in front of me, it was right there, bam, right in front of me. Like within, I'm doing 35 miles an hour, and when it stopped and stepped out, it might have been 10, 15 feet in front of me, and I had, like, just that split second to just turn, or I was going to hit it. So it all happened like that fast.

So I swerved around it, and I'm like holding the throttle top speed and it's like 35 miles an hour, so it's really not all that fast. And as I'm back on the road headed straight, and it's right at this top of this hill, so there's a really long gray downhill that goes into right in the middle of the town. And so I turned around when I straightened myself up and turned around to look. back, it was gone. And then that kind of scared me even more. And I, because all I could see was just black. I mean, there was no, you know, moonlight. I couldn't see. There was woods on both sides of me, you know. So I, I just high-tailed it. When I got in the town, there's just right in the middle of town, there's like a four-way road section. And then, and there's, and there's, you know,

There was one street light in the whole town there. And so I stopped there. And I stayed there until the sun came up. And not one car drove by me the rest of the night. I stood there, it was just freezing, you know, scared to death and waiting for the sunlight to come up or something, you know. And eventually the sun came up. and lit everything up and off I went home.

At the time, what did you think you were looking at? I mean, this is 1987. I thought, yeah. I thought I thought I saw a monster. And I didn't tell anybody about it for probably 25, 30 years. I never told anybody because I, I, um, that I, back then, I never even, Bigfoot wasn't nothing, you know. I really didn't, I really didn't see any TV shows.

Like everybody says, you know, oh, they saw this show and that show and Bigfoot when they were a kid. I wasn't into TV and all of that. So I really didn't have a clue. It was, I just thought it was a monster. After that happened, I never went. back that way to work at night again. I remember having to draw a couple of times to go to bypass that section. That was taking the back way home.

To bypass that section added 20 minutes to my trip. And any time I went home at night after that, until I got my, you know, turned 16 and got my car, I took that long way. Yeah, who could blame me, ma'am? I'd be taking a different route as well. You know, you did a pretty good job describing it. And I, you know, I know you and I talked about this, but I wonder the same thing you do, Gail, why do they come out and cross right in front of people on these roads? And you hear it time and time again. Before we talk about this incident near your home or what's going on at your home, there was, an incident, you were about 22. Tell me about that. I was with another guy and we were cut in wood. This was maybe seven years later after that. So me and another guy were out cutting firewood. And I guess it's part of like the Manistee National Forest. and I stopped to start loading up the truck

and as I'm throwing wood in I notice over next to this stump is this section of mud and there's a, looks like a little kid's footprint in it. So I got the other guy's attention and I'm like, and it was so fresh, you know, it was so fresh, it looks like it was just made. I show it to this buddy mine, I called them over,

and as we're looking down at it and talking about it, off in the distance, it sounds like a tree that comes down, falls down through the woods, you know? And when it hit, it was, I mean, we felt it in the ground, but we couldn't see it. You know, as we're looking around, and I'm like, whoa, what, what? This is crazy, you know, and, um, I was trying, talking to my body, I was like, somebody's kid is lost out here in the woods.

And look, I said, this is a little kid's footprint. I said, there's some little kid is lost out here. I said, we should probably go, you know, go call, you know, the police and at least check and see it, make sure no kid is lost out here, you know. And he didn't think that it was too keen. He didn't want to do that, you know. So then the tree comes down. And I was like, I got to see this.

I said, that tree was huge. I'm just going to walk around and see if I can see. Because the first thing he says, oh, there goes a widow maker. And I'm like, you know, it's crazy. It's not windy out. You know, what made this tree go down? I got to see it. So I start walking towards where the noise came from.

So I'm just walking along. And I'm looking and looking and I can't find this tree anywhere. And I just kind of thought it was really weird. And I'm like, well, I'm just going to go. I see this big pine tree. One of the huge ones with like eight, you know, eight foot trunk on it. It's just huge. And so I thought, well, I'm just going to walk around this pine tree here and look on the other side.

And as I'm walking around this tree, something. I don't know. I can't explain it. I just took a glance under the tree, but with all, it was the branches and everything was so thick. You couldn't see through it. And it was all black. It just, it was just all black. All I saw was black. But this feeling hit me so hard. Something I can't explain. and it's something and something told me to run and get out of there and you're gonna die or something something hit me and it happened so fast it was like I was like you know it happened that fast as I saw

the section of black that that hit me and I turned around and I took off running and I made it maybe 20 feet and I hit a tree and it knocked me down And I, and as I'm getting up, I'm thinking, why am I running? What am I running? Why am I running?

What am I running from? What's going on? I'm like, what's going on? I'm totally confused. And then, and then I'm trying to, and I'm looking around, I could not tell which direction I had to go. I was totally lost at that moment. I was in total confusion and I don't know what, I don't know what just happened. and I can't explain it

and this crazy feeling. And I couldn't explain why I was scared, you know. And it's just really frustrating. So I started yelling for my buddy so I could, you know, figure out which way to get back over

and where, you know, trucks are at where we're cutting wood. So I went back over. I finally made it my way back there and just, you know, we finished loading up the truck and got out of there. And I didn't say anything to him about what just happened because I couldn't explain it.

And I don't know. There's something like that. It's never had, you know, I've never had that feeling before. But when it hit me, it hit me so hard, you know, it was really crazy. Yeah, it makes you wonder why that fear kind of kicked in the way it did. At this point, you're not really seeing anything, just that fear's kicking in. Yeah, yeah. But what I saw, I didn't see any eyes or anything. All I saw was this blackness. And I don't know how I just associated the blackness with whatever fear hit me, you know, whatever it just hit me.

Because I couldn't explain it. I mean, I was just walking around looking to go find this tree that fell down. Yeah, it's a strange fear that kicks in like that. makes me think of when I was on Bigfoot and Beyond. Bobo was talking about infrasound. And I should go back on there. We should do a whole show on ImproSound. I mean, there's a lot of really weird things that happen to people when you hit them with different frequencies

that they can't quite hear. I just wonder if that's what was going on there. 30 years later, you find your way back to Northern Michigan. Tell me about what? going on at your house? So I just came back to Michigan not a couple of years ago and I moved into this place where I'm at now.

I have a couple of dogs, a big mastiff and a red Doverman. And we're sitting here watching TV on night, it's like 11.30. And something hits the side of the... Something hits the side of the house. It was like... It was like somebody hit it with a car, you know, the way it shook everything.

So I got up and I got a flashlight and I go outside and I'm looking around and I'm looking around and I'm noticing my dogs won't come outside. And this is like the first time this ever happened. And I stood outside hollering for my dogs and they stood there in the door looking at me like I was nuts. And I don't get it because they're always, you know, they have to be out first. You know how dogs are. So when this happened, they wouldn't come outside. And so I'm looking around, looking around, I can't find anything. I can't find nothing.

Couldn't see anything. And one night I get home from work and I'm sitting at my little bar here, countertop, you know. and I end up falling asleep with my head down in front of me, you know, and with the TV on. And it's like sitting at the bar here. And I hear this noise, this tapping. It's tapping, and it's really loud. And I don't pick my head up.

I hear the sound, you know, it's tap, tap, tapping. and I'm like trying to figure out what it is and I'm thinking, well, it's got to be, it's got to be my big dog because he's got a big little tail and when he can wagget it, you know, he can make, it kind of sounds like that. As I'm listening to it and I'm like, no,

somebody is tapping on the glass window just 10 feet from my head. I pick my head up and it stops. And I'm like, what? So I run over the window and I'm trying to look out and it's totally pitch black outside. I couldn't see anything.

So I'm like, where the heck of my dogs? My dogs are sleeping on the bed. I grab my flashlight and I go outside and I shine my light. It's anyways, it's 1.30 in the morning. And I don't see anything.

Nothing, nothing. And then a little while it goes on, a little while goes on, maybe two weeks. and I'm sitting on my couch, and I got one dog on the couch next to me. It's 11.30 in the evening, and we're watching TV, and one dog's on the floor on front of me in between me and the other dog on the couch and the TV. And I'm watching TV, and the dogs are up at a tent.

They're not sleeping. up with attention, you know, where I don't know if I was throwing them treats or something, but, you know, we were up and about. And all of a sudden, I hear this whistle, and it's real loud, and it goes from low to high, and me and the dogs, and we all turn our heads at the same time. Look over at, to the door, because it was like somebody was standing right here in front of the door it sounded like and made this big whistle and and there's nobody there and so I get up and I come over here and I open up the door and I'm looking around and I'm like, what is going on?

What the heck is going on? So I go back over to the TV and I rewind because I was watching YouTube something and I we wound it back and played it back to make sure I didn't hear some whistle off coming from the TV or something, you know. And I'm like, but it doesn't explain how we all heard it and turned our heads at the same time and looked. But I have this dog door, you know, for the dogs to go in and out on their own. And anyways, I can't figure out where this whistle came from. and it really had me it really

had me in a world you know because I mean it was so loud and it was right there not there's nobody there and I'm outside and again my dogs

will not come outside you stand in the door looking at me like I lost my mind or something will not come outside okay Okay, we'll see. A little more time goes by. Now I jump in my truck and I've got to run to town.

It turned last. I'm going to town at the top of the hill. There's a cemetery. And people in the cemetery, I notice, like to put lights in there. For some reason, there's all kinds of light on at night, you know, when I go by this old cemetery. So as I'm coming down the road, just pulling on my job. I'm not going very fast, maybe 35, 45. And I can see at the top of the hill, these red lights, what looks like to be red lights,

going across the road in front of me. But it was weird because they kind of moved together and then stop for a second. And then they moved together and both went together. And then they stopped. for a second. When they finished going across the road, they stopped and I could see them. There's a sign there that says stop sign ahead at the bottom of the hill

before you hit this other cross road there. So I see these red glowing lights and they're, as I'm coming up and getting closer and closer, you know, I'm trying to figure out what they are, you know, because I'm like, there's no, the cemetery stops before where these lights went across. So, and there's nothing but a chunk of woods between there and the road I'm headed to. So I'm slowing down and slowing down and getting closer and closer. And I can see the two glowing red ones, in the front kind of looked like little slits.

Like, I would have to say his head was cocked and kind of looking at me out of the corner of his eye, I guess. The other set of red eyes were right below his, maybe a foot below his and just a little behind them. And they were looking dead at me. They look like these two big, they look like huge, like taillights of a car. They were so bright and red and just glowing. And I'm just deadlocked on the two that are looking directly at me. And as I'm coming up, getting closer and closer, my headlights are shining on them.

The sign that they were standing in front of, the image of the sign, I guess you could call it, was kind of being portrayed in front. of them. But it was all blurry looking and it looked like it looked like like if I had the water in your eye almost, you know, or something like that. It was just all blurry but the, where the eyes were wasn't all blurry because they were above the sign and it was all black behind them. So there wasn't no, I guess, reflection from the headlights up there.

And as I'm getting closer and closer and slowing down, I'm probably doing about 25 as I'm deadlocked on the two that are looking directly at me. And then I'm trying to figure it out. And the craziest thing was

I was starting to think like, oh my God, am I looking at a a big foot here, you know, because you've heard all about these eyes, you know. And it's my first time seeing something like it. And this is all happening so fast, you know, as you're getting closer and closer to it and slowing down and thinking, like, there's no way this is what I'm looking at. This has got to be some lights or something. Somebody put them in the, and then as I'm thinking this, two of them, like turn around and,

look directly at me, but they're white. And they were about two feet below the second one. So, but everything was so blurry, I couldn't, I couldn't see like, you know, parts. It was, it was the weirdest thing, the way it was ever, it was all blurry. It was, like a reflection somehow. But except for the, when he turned his head and them two glowing white, white, it looked like a flashlight, looked directly at me as I'm going around the sign. And as I'm actually ducking my head under to, so I can see them,

as I'm going by them, you know, I'm ducking my head under the mirror. So I can keep looking at them as I go by. And when I go about finally get past the sign there, I'm going into the gravel because I'm going so slow and I'm not paying attention. I'm going off in the ditch. So when that happens and I kind of snap to it, I got back on the road and I was like, there's no way. I just saw what I just saw. There's nobody's going to, I'm like, dude, that's good. I was, I thought that was crazy.

So I started leaving some fig bars for them there at that little crossing. There were where I saw them cross and cookies and, and there are strawberry figs, fig bars. I had them wrapped up in a, in, uh, the dollar store bag, you know, and the package of cookies where it weren't opened or anything. And so I went down where, you know, I went to that spot there and I went right off into the woods. And I took these cookies and I just stuck them in a branch in the crotch of a tree branch about seven feet off the ground. Two days later when I came back, I was like, oh, no, they didn't, they, or no, I put two, jars of peanut butter in there too. And they were all in this bag. And, you know, as I would

drive by, I, you know, I would try to try to look into the woods to see if anything, you know, if they got moved or something. Well, two days later, I stopped and, and I go, I go check it out because I'm like, it's still up in the tree. And so I walk over there and I open up the bag and all the figs, all the strawberry figs are gone. And they're both two jars of peanut butter in there. And they're both full. And I didn't think that, you know, they even opened them. So I took the peanut butter and I threw them in the back of my truck.

And so I started leaving a loaf of bread once in a while or more cookies and stuff like that. A few days after that, just getting home from work and, you know, it's just getting dark, sun's going, it's dark out. And I hear this loud, like, thump outside my window. And it kind of sounded like somebody took a bowling ball and, like, threw it up in the air and, like, you know, when it hits the ground, it makes that thump. I hear this thump. Me and my dogs hear at the same time, and it comes, it's coming from right out front of the window.

here and I went around to the other side of the house and, you know, I was looking to see if I could see anything and there was nothing there. That actually happened two more times after that. I can't figure, I can't explain it, you know. I can't figure out where the noise is coming from. So, and this is all last, last, last fall, when, when, you know, when. And, you know, I started leaving food for where they crossed in front of me. You had mentioned it was blurry, Gil.

What do you mean by that when he say it was blurry? It looked like the predator kind of effect kind of thing. But it looked like if somebody hung a sheet of a saran wrap or something. And, you know, he was trying to look at the sign through it. It was what looked like to me, I just call it the big guy, you know, because I could see his eyes. And I could kind of see an outline of the head, but it was black because it was, the headlights don't go up that high.

And they were higher than the top of the sign. and the weird thing was because it looked like right next to them was the other set of red eyes that were looking directly at me and the whole it looked like though it was just a blur

like I couldn't I couldn't see their I couldn't distinguish body from body because it just looked blurry like if I had water in my eye or something, you know, and, you know, you get that, you know, I don't know how else to explain it. Yeah, I think I understand. And I appreciate you kind of going into it for me.

You know, back in 1987, you're on a moped. You almost hit this saying it's very different from what you're seeing now. What you're seeing now, you describe that predator. type of look. Everyone's seen the movie, The Predator, I'm assuming most people have, but it's like water in the air where there's something there, but you can't quite see it. I mean, you're seeing the glowing eyes. What made you think it was Bigfoot? Well, that, I can't see it was Bigfoot. I really don't know what it was. That's the only thing I can, you know, I could have been a demon or something?

I don't know. I just because the glowing red eyes thing I've heard about. That's the only thing that makes me think that, you know, hey, there must have been a Bigfoot. Yeah, and I get where you're coming from. You know, when I was on Bigfoot and Beyond, we were talking about the forest going quiet. you know, like the crickets shut off, everything just shuts off. And it's a very odd feeling when you're in that moment. And Cliff and Matt and Bobo, they all had great responses to what could be causing that.

Smart guys over there. But Bobo was actually, he kind of got me thinking about the whole infrasound thing. And I was thinking about all the moments of people telling me of the force just going silent. And, you know, paranormal, anything paranormal aside, infrasound would be the best explanation for why that would happen. And many years ago, I really researched Infrasound. And I think it was Disney. This is many years ago. They were using Infrasound for, you can make someone feel fear, you can make someone feel sadness, you can make, you do a lot of things to people's psyche.

with Infrasound. They messed up and people were actually coming out of the theater throwing up. I think that practice kind of got banned. But it really made me, it got me thinking about, after I was talking to you, Gil, and just over the years of hearing people experience what you're experiencing. And it makes me wonder, you know, is it something paranormal? Is it something more, I mean, could Infrasound cause that? And it can.

infrasound can actually alter your perception. It can alter your, I can make you see things that aren't there. And I'm not saying that's what happened. It just got me, after you and I talked, Gil, got me really looking back into it. But I've talked to a state trooper one time, and he saw basically what you're describing. And he described it as, I saw Bigfoot's ghost. And I asked him, I said, what do you mean? he saw Bigfoot's ghost.

Well, he's basically describing what you're describing, even to the glowing red eyes. And there's a police officer. He came on episode 716. It was Jack from Virginia. And him and I were talking about, at that time, there was a lot of assaults on police officers. People walk up and shoot them and terrible stuff.

No doubt it still goes on, but it's terrible. And he was kind of describing, you know, when he's on break and when he's on lunch, he would go kind of park on the side of this church. It's out in the middle of nowhere. And actually, you know what, instead of me telling you, bear with me, let me pull a clip from episode 716. This is Jack talking about his encounter. It happened in Virginia.

There's this church on that end of town that. I always park at. And it's kind of a weird layout. A lot of times, you know, how they build like churches in sections. I guess they'll get enough money and they'll build on to the church and whatnot. Well, the way that the layout was, it was kind of like a U. in between the two buildings. And there was actually a walkway.

It was an enclosed walkway about a story in the air where if you were on the second story of the building, you could walk across this walkway into the second story of the building right across the way from it. And then beneath that was another awning where if you were on the ground floor, you could walk from left to right or right to left. And that was pretty well lit. Well, I like to go back there and park. That night, I pulled back up in there. And I remember I just felt really uneasy.

But again, this was kind of the spot that I always go to. and I remember I just kind of had like the urge almost to to just shine my spotlight down the hill and into the woods. The way this U faces, it kind of faces into the woods there. And I'd mentioned to you that one of the things I'll do is I'll take my radar and I'll actually turn that on and I'll point it towards the road that kind of leads up into this U. that way if there was a vehicle that would approach my vehicle, it would go off. And if I were looking at something else, or even if I were taking a nap, it would wake me up. Well, I turned that radar on and it just starts going haywire. It just starts acting like it's picking up movement, and there's no vehicle there at all.

And I thought, well, you know, maybe this is my, maybe it's my defroster. and the cops, if any police officers are listening, they'll tell you that your defroster, if you turn that on, that air, it'll actually pick that up and you can get a reading off of that. Well, it wasn't that. It was just strange, Wes. I've never really seen it kind of go off like that.

You know, as I'm sitting here, that's when kind of all this began because something caught my eye. And what I could see, and I know that this isn't going to sound crazy, but if you've ever seen that movie, the predator, when the predator is cloaked, that's what I'm looking like.

And this thing has come up the road and is standing underneath of that walkway, that awning. And this whole thing is relatively well-lit, Wes. I mean, you're in between these buildings, they've got exterior lights on. The walkway has lights underneath. it. I mean, it's pretty well lit for being where it's at in the time of day, you know, being three in the morning. And so I'm watching this thing and it's moving from left to right.

And I honestly could not believe what I was looking at for a second. You know, it is one of those things where you almost double take and you're sitting there squinting, just not believing what you're seeing. But what really drew my attention to it was the fact that I caught it while it was moving. I don't know how long it had been there, but the only thing I know is I saw it when it was moving. So as I'm watching this thing, it's moving from left to right, and it gets behind this pillar and it stops. And when I say a pillar, it's like this big metal eye beam that's one of the supports of this walkway, and it stops, like it knows that I've seen it. And it, and it stops. And it knows that I've seen it. And what's weird is, as I'm watching it, I can still see the sides of it. You know,

it's not like it's completely hidden from my view. I can literally still see a part of this thing on each side of this pillar. It's so big, the pillar can't cover it. And at this point, I'm still just having a hard time wrapping my head around what I'm seeing. And I remember thinking to myself, I need to get out of here, but I can't because that walkway, the road needs to go right out of it. Well, this thing would be no more than 10 feet away from the road that I would have to travel down to get out of here. I'm literally trapped where I'm sitting. You know, looking back and thinking about it, I really had the impression that it was almost like it knew that I had seen it.

And it paulsed there for a little bit, and then it moved. It kept moving up towards that building. And then it's almost like I blinked. And again, this is going to sound crazy. It's almost like in a second, it uncloked and ran. And when I say uncloked, think about like the predator. It shot down that walkway. and where this is at, it's almost like a T intersection.

When you come down where I'm sitting, you could turn left or right, it uncloked and shot and ran down to the left and down that road that would go down to the left. And I'm going to tell you that I never, Wes, I've never seen anything move that quick, man. I have nothing to equate it to with the speed with which this thing moved. The only thing I know is it was like a light brown, and it was huge. Because from where I'm sitting, I'm sitting slightly uphill, and I can still see this thing in my mind. Now, I'm six foot tall. I can tell you that it would definitely be bigger than I am easily, easily.

And it went up that walkway, and there's a little bit of a hill that that walkway kind of goes up. It shot down that hill, went down to where the road was, and then went low. left down that road and then out of my view. And, you know, that's one of the encounters I talk about all the time. And, you know, in the subject you can, there's basically three options. You can write it off and say people are crazy, which is much easier to do when it's one or two, but when it's many, many people kind of all saying the same thing. I mean, here's a cop of many years.

And, you know, he's pretty emotional about what happened to him and what he actually saw. The other option is to try and find answers. You know, as far as, is it infrasound? Is there something going on here that makes it seem weirder than it actually is? Or you can just say it's paranormal. But I would love to find an answer why people, they experience this. and it's not just you, Gil. Where this happened, this intersection,

how far is that from your home? Oh, it is maybe 200 yards. That's really close. I was kind of curious, you know, what was kind of your mindset when you were leaving the food? What kind of made you want to leave food? I don't know.

I guess maybe to try to establish some kind of friendships or something, I guess, you know. And really, I can't, well, I mean, they could have waited until I drove by to cross the street. They didn't have to show themselves in front of me like that and stop and look directly at me, you know. And then I can only assume that she was holding something or maybe it was a juvenile, a younger one. standing there that had to go on white eyes, you know. I don't, I don't know.

I don't know because I couldn't make a definite, you know, distinguish between the bodies. Yeah, it's strange. What do you think that they are? I'm on the, I think there's something out of the Bible. I think, you know, the Bible tells it all. when he say something out of the Bible, are you talking about the Nephilim? Yeah, I think it's, I think there's some kind of part, Nephilim, somehow related.

And I, and I think some of them have been here. I think some of them are, could be, you know, maybe five, 10,000 years old even. You know, that's what I think. You know. Yeah, you could be right. I'd be careful leaving food for them if you are right. Is there still stuff going on around your property? Since nothing's happened and I haven't had any bangs or tabs on my windows all winter long,

so I think maybe they moved down for the winter. Yeah, well, you'll have to let me know if they end up showing back up. And I really appreciate you taking the time, you able to come on and share what happened to you. I know it's not the most comfortable thing, especially when it focuses more on the weird stuff. But like I always say, you know, I don't want to hear fantastic stories.
