Sasquatch Chronicles - SC EP:1267 The massive chainsaw fart Part 1

Episode Date: June 21, 2026

Jeremiah writes "I've had two experiences that both I and my friends believe may have been Sasquatch/Bigfoot encounters. First Encounter – July 2025 My first encounter involved myself (originally fr...om Missouri, now living in Arkansas), my friend Nacho (Jacob, from Mississippi), and our other friend Torin (from Missouri). It took place near Neosho, Missouri. Nacho and I have been interested in Bigfoot and other cryptids since we were kids. One night, after spending most of the day playing video games at Torin's house, we jokingly decided around 10:30 PM to go "squatch hunting." Torin wasn't interested in going because he had a bad migraine, but we eventually convinced him to come with us. We headed to Fort Crowder Conservation Area, a large wooded area near Neosho. Once there, we experienced several strange events. We had rocks thrown in our direction, heard what sounded like ground pounds, and could hear something moving behind us on the trail as well as around us in the woods. At one point, the same thing produced a deep, low rumbling growl that almost sounded like a stomach growling. The most unsettling moment came when trees were knocked down in front of us, effectively blocking our path and preventing us from going any farther. As we retreated, more rocks were thrown at us. Throughout the entire experience, the woods were unnaturally quiet there were no insects, no wildlife sounds, nothing. The following night, Nacho and I returned to the area, this time approaching from the opposite side. Since it was only the two of us and we were honestly pretty nervous after the previous night's events, we decided to stay close to the car. After arriving, we stepped out briefly and Nacho made a few calls. Not long afterward, something very close by responded by smacking a tree on his side of the vehicle. A little later, I repeatedly heard something moving around on my side of the car. We were recording the entire time, and later, when reviewing the footage, we noticed things we hadn't picked up on in the moment. My recording captured the tree knock very clearly, while Nacho's recording contained a distant whoop that neither of us had noticed while we were there. Second Encounter – November 2025 In November 2025, Nacho, our friend Caleb (from New York), and I decided to spend two days and one night investigating the Honobia area of Oklahoma. We had been listening to Episode 11 and realized how close Nacho and I were to the location of the Honobia Siege, which motivated us to make the trip. Caleb and I met Nacho at the main store in town, where we got a campsite and spoke with some locals. We spent most of the day driving around the area, exploring and looking for signs of activity, but we didn't encounter anything unusual. That evening, we returned to camp, settled in, cooked some great food, and climbed into the tent. Like most guys in their twenties, we ended up reading Bigfoot stories on Reddit and talking late into the night. About thirty minutes later, we heard something approach our tent on what sounded like two feet. When we stopped talking and listened, the footsteps immediately stopped. A few moments later, we heard two rocks clack together somewhere in the nearby river. We started talking again, and shortly afterward the footsteps resumed. Once again, we went quiet, and once again the movement stopped. This time we heard two distinct rock clacks one from the river close to our campsite, and another from much farther away, roughly a quarter mile downstream. There was a lot more that happened during both encounters than what I've described here. I've left out many details simply because there is so much to tell, but these were the major events that stood out the most."

Starting point is 00:00:05 As I spoke about on last night's show, my dear friend Brent Thomas passed away last Sunday. I really am in shock, and I don't think his passing has really hit me yet. I guess deep down I don't want to believe it. The guy you saw on the air every week on the paranormal portal, who was kind and truly cared about people, that was the same guy off the air. I have so many memories and funny stories to share. The first call I made was to Brent's son Sheldon. I wanted to offer my condolences and words of comfort.
Starting point is 00:00:47 But much like his father, Sheldon turned the conversation around to try and comfort me. Almost felt like I was talking to Brent. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I plan on doing a remembrance show. for Brent and I would like to have Sheldon on but now is not really the time for that now is the time to grieve his father you know Sheldon is a gamer and I remember Brent calling me and asked me to join them online on Steam for War Thunder it's online dogfighting war war war two pilots against each other and even with Brent and I teaming up on Sheldon he mopped the floor with us and I've been quietly
Starting point is 00:01:31 planning my revenge for a rematch, Sheldon's grandchildren will know my name. It's what his father would have wanted. I used to get Brent a hard time about being a paranormal investigator and trying to communicate with spirits. And I always told him, you don't know who you're talking to, you don't know who you're communicating with, or what doors you're opening.
Starting point is 00:01:53 And my comments came from a good place in my heart. You know, I wasn't saying it for my benefit. I was saying it for his. And he knew that. And I knew that Brent really thought he was helping out the dead as much as he would help the living. That's just kind of who he was. There was never any malice in our conversations. I remember he did an investigation in Coloma, Montana in this ghost town.
Starting point is 00:02:21 And Brent and his fellow investigator, they were using a ghost box to try and speak to the spirits. And he had posted this video online of what they had captured. there and there was weird audio. I mean, the ghost box was picking up weird. It was saying something. And you guys remember my Frank Hansen from my Minnesota Iceman show when I'm telling the story about the Minnesota Iceman and how Frank would take the body around showing it off and how Frank strangely sounds like a former president.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Here's a quote. Welcome the good people of Wisconsin. Come one, come all. Step right up and behold the Minnesota Iceman. Please form a line here. And no pushing. Everyone will have a chance to see it. Yes, you in the back, what is your question?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Where in God's name did you get this? Funny story, Jack. A Japanese whaling ship found the body. They didn't want it so I took it. Why take it? Because that's how I roll. Are there any other questions I can give non-answered? Well, when Brent posted his video, I told him, hey, I fixed a video from Coloma.
Starting point is 00:03:40 I really dialed in the audio of the spirit voice that they had captured, and I was going to go ahead and just send the video over. And he thanked me over and over before watching the video. I basically dubbed over the spirit voice with Frank Hansen. So we're now at the Colonna Goes Town Proper, Coloma, rather, that we were at last night as well that we streamed on and we're trying the portal here. The word they captured here was scared. Who's here?
Starting point is 00:04:19 Here, Jack. Why do you look scared? I heard scared. I heard that too. The word captured here was die. Come on. Why'd you say that? Because that's how I roll.
Starting point is 00:04:47 And in this clip, they were hearing music. Your peaches, want to shake your tree. Wow. Should that isn't be possible? No. That was cool. Did not be music on these things. Yeah, like it's dropping back down.
Starting point is 00:05:07 The last memory I'll share for today was when Brent was going to a conference here in Washington. And he really wanted to interview Bob Gimlin. gamel him. And I get it. Bob is a goat. But I knew how much it had meant to him. It's all I talked about for like two months. And Russ Accord is kind of the gatekeeper for Bob. And God bless him for doing it. Egos in the Big Four world will say Russ is using Bob and making money off of him. And I can tell you it's all nonsense. Not only are Bob and Russ very close friends, I have not seen Russ make any money off Bob. I have seen him spend money on Bob, and I have seen him drop what he's doing to go over and help Bob, and I can go on and on. So whatever you hear online is nonsense.
Starting point is 00:05:59 But Russ is the gatekeeper. So I called Brent on Saturday during the conference, and I asked him if he spoke to Bob or had interviewed him yet. And he said he couldn't interview him, but he got to meet him, and he kind of sounded bummed out. And I said, well, you know, you got to remember Bob is an old man. If he told you no, don't take offense to it. He may not be feeling well. And Brent said, oh, no, no. Bob said yes, but Russ said no.
Starting point is 00:06:29 And I was like, what? Russ said no. He's like, yeah, it's no, be deal. I was like, put Russ on the phone. He's like, no, it's no big deal. I don't want to, you know, cause any product. And I told Brent, I'm not asking you. I'm telling you to put Russ on the phone.
Starting point is 00:06:43 So he puts Russ on the phone. and I'm like, what's the deal? Why aren't you allowing Brent to interview Bob? Well, Russ has no clue who Brent Thomas is. And if this is some sort of ambush interview or they're going to make, you know, he's going to make a fool out of Bob or. And with a few choice words for Russ,
Starting point is 00:07:04 I turned that no into a yes. And I believe that was the last interview Bob has given. And we'll probably give. Brent thanked me over and over. and I asked him not to tell this story. It was his interview, his work, and I wanted all the credit to go to him. Because that's what friends do.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Rest in peace, my dear friend. It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind and it either heard me or smelt me and he pulled his head out of the tent and stood straight up that shocked me don't make people that that big. The way it moved,
Starting point is 00:08:06 almost as if it was gliding across the beach. I've never seen anything moved like that in my life. They were screaming at each other in gibberish. It sounded like a language and they were chuntering away back and forward, back and forth, Back and forwards, back and forwards, back and forward. I know what a bear looks like, and there is no way on this planet but what I saw were bears. Look here, Jack.
Starting point is 00:09:13 This is Frank Hanson, and you are listening to Sasquatch Chronicle. Welcome to the show, everyone. Thanks for being here tonight. We are going to be chatting with Jeremiah and Jacob. And I had a lot of fun chatting with these guys on and off the air. Back in July of 2025, they decided to go out and kind of look for Bigfoot. The original plan was to go to Honabi, Oklahoma, but they were unable to make that trip. They found an area in Missouri to go out and look for the creature.
Starting point is 00:10:10 And I always say, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. In part one, the guys talk about this encounter that they had in Missouri. and I'll be posting part two on Wednesday night, and it'll be a public show when the guys finally make it to Honabi. I know they sent me a lot of videos I need to go through, and I'll post those on part two. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email. My email address is Wes at Sasquatch Chronicles.com, and if you get a chance, check out Sasquatch Chronicles.com, you can become a member and get additional shows. As I was telling the members last night, I'm moving to a different company and kind of moving
Starting point is 00:11:01 away from the app. But with this new company, they offer for members, you can listen to member shows on whatever podcast player you want. So if you're a Spotify person, all the member shows will load for you. If you're an iTunes person, all the member shows will load for you. Whatever app you're using, you will be able to listen to the member shows. And I think I'm looking at like a two-month time frame. I have a call with them this week. So good stuff, exciting stuff. I know some people have had troubles with the app and I want to do my best to try and fix that. Let's jump into it tonight. I want to welcome my Jeremiah to the show. Jeremiah, thanks for coming on. Thanks for having me. And we also have the famous Nacho. Nacho, thanks for coming on.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Thank you. It's good to be here. I appreciate you being here, Jacob. And I know the original plan was actually to go out to Honabi, and we'll talk about that in part two. This main encounter, This was back in July of 2025, and it was at there in Missouri, correct? So this is a, there's a little town about 20 minutes south of Joplin, Missouri called Neosho. So this particular incident happened, there's this little state designated area called a Fort Crowder Conservation Area. It's kind of adjacent to Neosho, I think it's a community college. Yeah, it's a Crutter College in Crowder College. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:42 It's a decent size, a swath of land. It's not like super huge. It's surrounded by like farmland and there's a smattering of houses out there. It's pretty, the way, you know, the way Missouri is, is that you can have tiny little towns and then outside of that you have nothing until the next town. Then there's another town. Like you can, you can leave a town in, well, it's kind of the same with the Midwest. Like, you can leave a town.
Starting point is 00:13:08 can be in the middle of nowhere in like five minutes. The way this starts, it doesn't even really go back to the whole, as we kind of told you beforehand, like we've been interested in like the Bigfoot subject pretty much our whole lives, right? The whole idea of like growing up, the whole idea of what's essentially like a monster, you know, as a kid, what do you, Bigfoot's pretty much a monster, right? He's like a real life monster. And I remember asking my dad, it's like, you know, is that real?
Starting point is 00:13:37 and he's like, oh, maybe we don't know. And just that little sense, like, maybe we don't know. It's like, oh, so he could be real. So I grew up watching shows. We both grew up watching shows, like Finding Bigfoot, Monster Quest, Expedition Unknown, you know, like all the classic cryptid-y shows. And so then you get older, you know, you have your own car, you have your own money. So it's like, well, I mean, what better thing to do with our free time than, you know,
Starting point is 00:14:05 when we can get together because I, I, like, live Mississippi. He lives in Arkansas now. I was like, you know what? Let's like find some classic hotspots, right? Some classic hotspots where these things are supposedly known to be. And let's see if we go there, you know, spend a little bit of time and just see what happens, right? So I ended up going to Missouri hanging out. with a friend of ours who doesn't really believe in Bigfoot, per se, but he was like one of the, in this instance,
Starting point is 00:14:48 he was like the third man who was, he was there, he witnessed a lot of the stuff that we did, but he kind of was like more like, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. I don't think that he's really, I mean, he acknowledges now that he can't really explain a lot of things that happened, but he doesn't want to come out and openly say, yeah, he kind of scoffs at the idea of actually admitting that it could have been something that he's not really comfortable with.
Starting point is 00:15:15 It may exist, right? The way that happened was we were at this guy's house and we had been there all day, playing games, watching TV. So it's about 10 o'clock, 10 or 10.30. So it's getting kind of late. originally we were supposed to be in the woods this time like originally when we were planning on it.
Starting point is 00:15:38 So it's Nio Shos, I don't know if I'd say it's like an isolated place because Joplin's pretty close, but there's a lot of isolated places right outside Niosho. And I look at J and I'm just like, man, let's just go around the woods for a minute. Like let's just find a place where we're going to like, I wasn't even thinking about driving down the road.
Starting point is 00:15:58 It's like we can just like walk outside, be in the woods, right? I just want to, like, I came out here originally playing on going in the woods, because I love camping. You know, I love going in the woods. I love camping. And I look at Jay, like, let's just, let's just go in the woods a little bit. And Jay's like, oh, yeah, that'd be awesome. He looks at Toran. He's like, man, let's go in the woods.
Starting point is 00:16:19 And this guy, he has had a migraine. Yeah, he had a migraine. So he kind of bullied him into going, which I guess that was mean of us, but I was like, come on, man. Let's just go in the woods. It's going to be fun. And Jay pulls up on his phone. He's like places we can go. For Crowder, it's like five minutes down the road.
Starting point is 00:16:39 And the way, like if you, at least then, if you were to Google for Crowder and just like get on images, it's presented almost as if it's like a camping area. Like you have, you pull it up, there's like a picture of like a bench and like a trail and a lake. So we were thinking that we were going to pull up at like a campground somewhere. they're like, okay, we're just going to pull up a campground, like hit a trail, come back. We hop in the car and like we didn't really have, I want to say we necessarily even had Bigfoot on the brain at this point. It was just more like, let's go in the woods, right?
Starting point is 00:17:15 And we also just didn't bring anything with us. We brought our phones. We brought nothing. We were not prepared. We didn't bring, we didn't bring hiking fans. We didn't bring hiking shoes. We didn't bring sticks. We didn't bring flashlights. We had our phones, like our flashlights on our phone. Mine was at 7%, which was not very smart hindsight. But we also, on our way out, we called a friend of ours like, come,
Starting point is 00:17:42 come meet us out here because he was supposed to come hang out with us that day. It was a different guy. This guy's name was Lise's, but he was going to meet us out there. And that's important later. But anyway, so we drive out there, we get to this place and immediately we realize, oh, this is a lot different than it looks on Google
Starting point is 00:18:05 because we get out there. It's just like this, like this little dirt gravel parking area and the woods. There's like a gate and it's just what's like a sheet of dark trees. No lights, no, no nothing. Like there was a house across the road, but that was it.
Starting point is 00:18:21 It was just dark. And there is, there was a trail. There was a gravel trail. trail. We did find a trail. So we get on the trail and we have, you know, on flashlights. That's really the only light we have. And so we get out and we just kind of start, you know, we're talking, we're laughing and we're yelling. We're, you know, being dummies in the woods. You know, we were tossing, we were tossing sticks around. We were tossing rocks around. And not really doing whoops. I mean, we were jokingly like doing Bigfoot stuff.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Right. Whenever you look up on Google, it shows a picture of this really nice looking pond. It's like super pretty. We didn't look up how to get there. So we pulled into the first lot that we saw and decided this is how we get to the pond. You just... And we thought we just walked in, just walking to walk out. But...
Starting point is 00:19:14 So we end up getting on the trail. We're not really even looking at our mess. We just get on the trail and we start walking. And we're like, we're going to walk to go walk to the pond and just walk back. So we keep going down the trail And we're going down the trail for a while, no pond And we're like Oh, we'll just see where this trail goes, I guess
Starting point is 00:19:34 And so at a certain point We were down the trail A pretty decent clip So our friend who really The whole idea was kind of like to find the pond And then turn around back, right? So our friends who doesn't really want to be there To begin with who has a migraine
Starting point is 00:19:54 He's waiting for his ibuprofen to kick in so we can go home. He's like, I am finding this lake as fast as I can so I can turn around to go home. And me and Jay were kind of, we're kind of lagging behind a little bit, you know, just tossing rocks around. Our friend was about 40 yards in front of us.
Starting point is 00:20:11 We could see his flashlight swaying back and forth because he was doing that classic, you know, mom lock of swinging his hips really hard so he could see his flashlight swinging really hard. So we knew exactly where it was. Yeah, we could see him down the trail. It was a pretty, is pretty straight shot.
Starting point is 00:20:26 We had just rounded, we had this rounded Ben. I mean, later on, if you want me to, like, show you, like,
Starting point is 00:20:30 on Google Maps, like, wherever you were. It would be, like a play-by-play. Because the trailer, you can actually follow it. But,
Starting point is 00:20:37 um, we had just rounded this corner. And I tossed a rock. Or I tossed a couple rocks. I tossed a rock, like off in the blitz. And around this time, I also let out,
Starting point is 00:20:52 like, a massive chainsaw fart. It's a, bore in detail. So I tossed a rock. I tossed a rock and Jay's laughing at me. And so I'm picking up another rock to toss and I hear something land behind me. And Jay lets out this Yelp and starts booking it down the trail to catch up with our friend who's still visible down with the flashlight. So at this point, I don't really know what's going on. So I start sprinting to catch up with him.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Because I thought, like, oh, is this dude trying to, trying to race me? Is he, like, trying to, as he's trying to ditch me out here? Like, I didn't know what was going on. So I ran to catch up with him. And I pull up a long time,
Starting point is 00:21:40 like, you know, what's, like, bro, what's going on? And he's like, that wasn't me. I'm like, what are you talking about? It's like, that rock,
Starting point is 00:21:47 that wasn't me. Because I thought, because I knew he was holding a rock. I figured he just, like, dropped in. That's what the noise was. I thought he dropped and started running. He's like, no, that wasn't me.
Starting point is 00:21:56 I didn't drop that. He said something threw that at me. Like, that came out of the woods at me. And I didn't see, I didn't see that happen. I didn't see the rock come out of the woods because I just, you know, I kind of turned around and was preparing to throw my rock back. But I distinctly heard the rock that he said was thrown at him land. So I'm like, huh.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Kind of kind of going off of that. So back to the massive chainsaw art, I look. I'm laughing at Nacho's because he just, he wrecked it. So I look up at him, he's probably three, four feet in front of me. And he's kind of to my left. As I'm reaching down to grab another rock, and obviously he was grabbing another rock as well. About 10, 12 feet behind me, I heard a rock hit a tree and then fall into the ground, which Nacho said I yelped, which hindsight I did.
Starting point is 00:22:50 but in my perspective, I screamed at the top of my lungs and started sprinting because my first reaction was, oh, no, I got to get out here. So I just sprinted into the conservation. It didn't sprint out like any normal sane person would be. I'd be like, oh, let's get back to the car and leave. I sprinted further in and then caught up with our friend and not chocked with me and kind of recounted what happened. And yeah, I was kind of, we could have made very well made the decision to turn around and leave. But we decide, you know what? No, we're not at the little lake that we saw on Google yet.
Starting point is 00:23:30 We're going to keep going until we find this thing. So we keep walking. And we probably get maybe another quarter mile in. And as we're walking that extra quarter mile, there's, I hear something like kind of walking alongside us. And at this point, it's all three of us kind of walk. walking together. I hear something kind of off in the woods next to us walking alongside us. And I couldn't really tell what it was, you know, couldn't distinctly hear two feet or four feet or, you know, any sort of like how it was walking. I just heard leaves crunching kind of off in the distance
Starting point is 00:24:03 and kind of just blew it off. I was like, I see it's Missouri in the woods. It's probably like a deer or like a raccoon or something or armadillos. We got tons of those to kind of set up the area. It's, I'm on the left side of the trail, not just the right of me, and then Torrance in the middle of us, but right behind us. We get to this bush, and we stop when we're talking for a second, and we turn it because I heard something like breathing behind the bush. So we sat there for a minute and kind of heard something's kind of walking around in that bush, and we're sitting there listening to it, and I kind of,
Starting point is 00:24:42 low-key almost killed our friend for this, but he's standing behind us. let's out this ear-piercing scream, just screaming at whatever's behind the bush, made me jump out of my sky, almost died on the spot, but whatever was behind the bush kind of walked off into the woods. It kind of,
Starting point is 00:24:59 it kind of slinked away. It was weird. I mean, it didn't, it was like a very subtle kind of movement. Like, you really had to listen and just kind of shh, shh. It wasn't very loud either. It wasn't very loud.
Starting point is 00:25:13 It was pretty quiet. So after we heard the, thing inside the bush, we decided to keep walking in. And we kind of got to the edge of this clearing, mind you, this entire time, we're still being dudes in our 20s, throwing stuff into the woods, throwing rocks and stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:27 And I was grabbing just anything I saw on the ground, just kind of tossing it. And we got to the edge of this clearing. And I see this tree just kind of in the I have a Google Pixel 7. And at the time before the flashlight update came out,
Starting point is 00:25:44 there was this horrible flashlight. couldn't see anything with it. I saw this little tree that was kind of looked like it was bent through a singular flower up on this tree and just kind of just tossing stuff side to side. And then we, you know, keep walking in. As we get further into this clearing, I'm not sure if not you heard, but I heard something kind of cross the trail behind us,
Starting point is 00:26:08 not super quick or super slow or anything. I did not notice that. Yeah, I heard something cross the trail. behind is kind of pretty close to where that kind of tree was. And looking back on it, I think it was the next day, it was game trail. So there's a little cleared out area, small little game trail, not massive. But we keep walking. And we're probably a quarter through this clearing.
Starting point is 00:26:35 And not trying to both hear this like, it's almost like a low grumble growl. It might at this point, our friends back in front of us again because he did. not want to be there he wanted to find the little lake. So not join our walking side by side. And we hear this like kind of low grumble growl. It's not it's not like how some people describe it as like a semi going by. It's real discreet. It was it was like a stomach. It's like you're sitting next to someone who is stomach scrowling. Yeah. It was like someone hasn't eaten a day and a half and they're just needing food. It's just a low grumble like a growl kind I would like gurgle almost.
Starting point is 00:27:15 And I thought it was him. I thought it was his stomach. It was like, that was you, right? I was like, oh, it wasn't me. So, okay, whatever. So we just, um, we kept going. I think it's important to mention to that our friend, uh, Torin, he did not witness the rock incident.
Starting point is 00:27:32 He was, because he was a good ways. He was a good ways down the clip. So he thought we were just freaking out. Yeah, he was about 40 yards in Toronto us, like, not close enough to hear a rock or really even us say anything unless we were screaming at him. And my whole, my thinking during this time was, okay, maybe if something threw a rock at us,
Starting point is 00:27:55 that's either, you know, a tweaker out here in the woods that we snuggled across or it's one of them. You know, something with hands did it. So I'm like, you know, whatever it is, this is literally what we were hoping for all on that. This is what we, this is what we, this is what we were going to go to Hone before, right? This is the kind of stuff we want to happen.
Starting point is 00:28:15 It's like, well, let's keep going and see if it happens again. And we're going to try and provoke it. We're going to keep tossing stuff that direction, see what happens. So we were. Sorry. Oh, no, sorry. Go ahead. Shortly after like that grumble, growl kind of sound, we in that clearing,
Starting point is 00:28:34 maybe 45, 50 yards into the clearing, we hear this almost sounds like something punching or like stomping the ground to the heart because I mean you could you could tell us something was hitting something dense and it's I think it was July 5th so at the time we were like oh it's it's just fireworks or something and you know with fireworks it's I mean I'm assuming
Starting point is 00:29:00 you know what the Doppler effect is you know the further away you get from something that's quiet the closer you get it's a lot louder at this entire time it's staying even with us it's not getting acquired it's not getting louder. And I was kind of just in the back of my head counting. It was every three seconds, just this thump. It was rhythmic.
Starting point is 00:29:21 It was every three seconds, just thump, thump. And we kind of played off in the moment. It's like, oh, it's some dude off in the distance, you know, having fun of fireworks, just goofing around, whatever. Because we were, you know, we were still, you know, we were trying to be, we were trying to be, like, objective and skeptical, right, too. because you don't want to go full on, like, oh, everything's a big foot that you're right.
Starting point is 00:29:43 We were trying to have, like, you know, okay, we are kind of in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn't mean there aren't people in the general vicinity, right? So we were walking along this trail. I don't remember if it was after this or before this when we really started to like notice, like Jeremy I was saying,
Starting point is 00:30:04 like kind of like the booming noise. The booming noise was, So going in, like walking in, the clearing is on your right. And the booming noise was kind of coming from that direction. It was kind of coming in the time it would have been on our right. And to add on to that, whatever I heard crossed the path behind us went to the right of us, like from the left to the right.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Jeremiah, you're talking about that rhythmic thumping noise. Are you describing wood knocks? it wasn't even really wood knocks it's almost like it didn't sound like something hitting wood it was like kind of just like you know how great apes sometimes like both hands smack the ground
Starting point is 00:30:49 to like kind of assert dominance it was almost like something it was like just smack in the ground as hard as it could it didn't it sounded like an impact it didn't sound like it wasn't like rock on rock it wasn't like wood on wood it was just kind of just like
Starting point is 00:31:05 this is why we originally we were like, oh, that's just fireworks. He just sounded the closest way I could say was like a, just like a booming noise. But at the, oh, go ahead. There wasn't like a cracker, clack of like wood on wood. You'll get that wooden cracker, like a rock. You get the clacking.
Starting point is 00:31:23 There's just dense, if that makes sense, just a dense sound. So going down this clearing, we're coming at the end of clearing, where it goes back into like more woods on both sides of the trail. and there was a tree down in the trail, a big tree, like a significantly sized tree. And so when I see this tree, like in light of the fact we just had rocks, because, you know, I've listened to a ton of different Bigfoot stories over the time. And I've heard plenty of stories where a person was unwelcome in an area.
Starting point is 00:32:00 And one of the signals that it was time to leave was like an obstruction in their path. So I see this tree. And my flashlight kind of plays on it. The first thing I noticed about this tree is that this tree wasn't dead. Like it wasn't like a, an old dead tree. This tree had plenty of green foliage on it. So I see this obviously healthy but still downed tree in the middle of the trail. Like it was, it wasn't like laying off to the side. It wasn't like it was like perpendicularly laying across the trail. So I see this and I'm like, because immediately, because I'm already, I'm a little weird out by the rock thing.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Like I'm trying to play like, okay, that could have been a person. Maybe it wasn't. Could have been, you know, I'm still trying to be objective. I see the tree and I'm like, my mind immediately goes to, oh, like, okay. Is this a sign? So, and I don't know, I don't think I mentioned this before, but like going into those woods because I've been in the woods by myself at night a lot.
Starting point is 00:33:08 I've I've been camping a lot. I've been in the dark. So I'm not, I'm not scared of the dark. I'm not scared of the woods at night. But they're going into these woods, going into those woods, there was like a general sense of unease,
Starting point is 00:33:22 at least for me personally. It was like, this is kind of, the vibe was a little off. But when I saw, so when I saw this tree, like I remember like the hair standing up on my, on my neck.
Starting point is 00:33:32 I was like, that's, that's not, that's not normal. It was like the vibe, like, because the vibe was already a little weird. It was like, it was like, oh, like, okay. So I did something I'm not sure I should have done. I kind of pushed that back down. I was like, we definitely need to go. Like when I saw that, I was like, we definitely got to go. But I was like, I got to take a look at this tree.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Just for myself. I got to like, go up. I got to see, like, is this something that could have happened by like wind? Because I was like, I was also like, we didn't hear this tree fall over going in. So I'm like, I got to see. But interestingly enough, there was this is also a trail that during the day people do use because there was horse tracks. There was horse dung up and down the trail. Like tons of horse crap going in.
Starting point is 00:34:27 So I was like, okay, that horse crab was fresh. So people have been here on horseback. within like the last day and now there's a tree laying across the track. So obviously that tree cannot have been there that long. And because people have been coming in and out, you know, going around this tree.
Starting point is 00:34:45 So we get up to the tree and I'm, we're looking at the tree and Torin has kind of caught up at this, well, we caught up with him. And so we're looking at it. I'm like shining my light on it. And Torin's like, guys, be quiet. So we all shut up. And he was like,
Starting point is 00:35:01 Did you guys hear that? I didn't hear anything. I don't think. Jay, did you hear anything? I mean, I heard something, but I kind of in the moment just played off as like wind in the trees. And it's just forced out, you know? So Torin, Torin is, so I'm about 6.2. Torin is about 5.11.
Starting point is 00:35:26 And Torin is standing there next to me and Torin is looking up. Like his eye, his line of sight is like, looking at like a it's like eight or nine feet off the ground yeah like 50 degree angle so he's looking up and I'm like what are you what are you hearing he's like there's something breathing over there like he distinctly said like he's looking up
Starting point is 00:35:46 at the tree line and he says there's something over there breathing so he says that and at this point you know everything's telling me like we got to go we need to we need to move so we turn around and we started walking back out We're going on a pretty good clip. So the booming from earlier, this is when it's really kind of started to get intense.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Like it was kind of intensified because it was like happening a little bit, I think before we got to the tree. But it wasn't like, it wasn't like a stationary location. Because as we're walking out, the booming is like moving alongside us. It's parallel. It's parallel to us. It was a good. 45, 50 yards.
Starting point is 00:36:30 if that into the woods, just moving alongside us. And kind of like how not you say it intensified almost. It was like. The length of time between them was shortening. So around this time, so remember that friend I told you that we called to meet us out there. So around that time, he calls me on my phone. I still had service out here, which is probably a good thing. So he calls me on my phone.
Starting point is 00:36:59 and I'm talking to him and he's like, you guys still out there? I'm coming out there right now. He had been in Oklahoma, like, watching a movie or something. So he was a good 45 to an hour late from when he was supposed to be there. But he was talking to us.
Starting point is 00:37:16 And as I'm talking to him, like, I'm like, yeah, we're leaving right now. He got a little weird out. I'll have to talk to you about later. As I'm talking to him, I hear some kind of commotion, like on the side of the trail. right next to Jay.
Starting point is 00:37:30 And Jay looks at me and all those sprints, but he like pulls himself back in at the last thing. And he looks at me, he's like, we have to get out of here now. And also around this time, Torin, who's up ahead of us, he starts sprinting. The man who had a migraine didn't want to be there, just goes into a dead sprint.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Whenever to kind of adding on to Notches, you know, him on the phone and me saying that, notches on the phone with our friend Ulysses, talking and I'm kind of you know we're not playing music we're just kind of walking you know it's it's quiet really very quiet and we get to the endless clearing you know having walked back through it this booming sound still going on
Starting point is 00:38:13 and I mean on Google Maps you can see the exact tree because I'm on the left side trail you know facing the west side of this I'm like the west side trail not just on the east side trail torrents of ways in front of us Probably a foot from my head. A rock smacks a tree next. I mean, I didn't see it at me because it was pitch black
Starting point is 00:38:37 and my phone had died at that point. But, I mean, I could feel it. It was almost like, you know, if something claps their hands right next to your ear, you can hear it. You know, that rings a little bit. It hit the tree next to my head and it hit the ground. And I, you know, not just saying that I got down the sprinting business,
Starting point is 00:38:54 I very well got down the sprinting position, you know, ready to just, run at the, you know, fly to speed to get out of there because I was, I wasn't even scared. You know that sense of dread where it feels, you almost feel like you're in danger. It's like something here is bad and I need to leave. If I don't leave, I'm going to get hurt. It was that sense of dread where it was like every part of my body was like about to force myself to run.
Starting point is 00:39:20 But then my mind caught up and I was like, you know, if I run, you know, if you see a bear or mountain lion or any sort of predator, out in the wild, you, you don't sprint because that's going to make them chase you and, you know, they're not going to stop chasing you if you start running. So kind of my just normal basic logic caught up and it was like, hey, you, you don't run. If you run, you're, you know, whatever is out there is going to, it's going to catch you and eat you. So I kind of got down in that position and caught myself and I didn't, I didn't stop walking once. I just kind of slightly twist in my head. I was like, nach, we need to leave now. Which we were already doing.
Starting point is 00:40:00 We were already our way out. And I kind of started sprinting, or not sprinting, but speedwalking. Yeah, kind of get out there, a little bit, a little bit urgency in my step. We're probably from the clearing to where we had the car about halfway, I kept hearing something like kind of pacing the trail behind us. Because you know the difference between like someone walking on like kind of dirt and leaves and then swapping the gravel. You can almost hear like the gravel kind of push out from anything and crunch a little bit. I kept hearing something to walk behind us, like just cross the trail. So my thought was, huh, this is a little weird.
Starting point is 00:40:41 So I kind of just either every now and then twist my head around, you know, look behind me, see if there's anything behind me, didn't see anything. So in my head just, you know, keep going. We're leaving. You know, it's not like we're going to be staying. We're not going to be like, oh, let's be. that turn around and go try and find it. We're leaving and we're not going to stay. It's weird getting that feeling of like knowing something,
Starting point is 00:41:06 whether it's a person, an animal or a satch squash or some sort of creature is there and it does not want you there. And kind of being getting that feeling of like you're being ushered out of this area. Something doesn't want you there. There's something here that knows you're there. You don't know what's there. And just getting that feeling, you know. we got as we got close to the car there's this a little secondary clearing not even really clear it's just a little patch of grass and it's right next to the little dirt grab a lot so as we get there um the ground pound stops whatever is you know walking behind us when silent when you know walked off went silent and that's when i noticed um at least i don't know of i think jacob or not you notice but the
Starting point is 00:41:57 and like kind of wildlife started acting up a little bit. And I had noticed the entire time I was there. It was very still. Yeah. It was very still. It was a cool. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Whenever we were walking in there, a lot of stuff was happening, you couldn't hear crickets. You know, normally you can hear crickets at night, you know, call on to each other. They couldn't hear crickets.
Starting point is 00:42:13 But the second we got closer to the car, you could hear crickets. And, you know, we got in the car. Our friend Ulysses finally pulled up whenever we got to a lot. Started doing donuts in the dirt and everything. He was doing donuts when we walked up.
Starting point is 00:42:26 kind of, it relieved a little bit of stress we had. So that was a nice little lift. But that was, you know, that first night that we went to Crowder and the next night, or next, not even next night, next morning, Nantra and I, we kind of both had the thought of like, let's go, you know, check out that tree, you know, see it was there, you know, check that out, see if we see anything over there in the daylight because we're definitely not going to go back at night, you know, in the dark.
Starting point is 00:42:56 because that was horrible. So I'm back in the morning, check out the tree. And I know Nacho got probably more descriptive with the tree. I just remember seeing these two trees. I definitely checked out the tree pretty bliss. Yeah. Oh, if you want to take that. Well, another thing, I don't remember if this was on our way out,
Starting point is 00:43:22 if this was on our way in, but you remember how. so Jay had left this wildflower in the crook of a tree like just off the trail going in I didn't even know about this at the time he told me about it later when he pointed out to me but he left that wildflower there right and so we passed by that tree and he's like looking for like the wildflower because he's like yeah but I left something over here last night and so we we walk up and there is an identical wildflower sitting next to it in the brook in the tree next to it. There's a second flower sitting there.
Starting point is 00:43:57 That's really weird. You know, we're here. There's no one else here. And like there's a second flower sitting on top of the flower I put there. So yeah. So we saw that and we're like, huh, that's, that's weird. I mean, nothing, nothing really else to say about that like that. Either, I mean, someone with hands put that there.
Starting point is 00:44:19 And it wasn't us. So within the last, I don't know. nine, eight hours that had gone by. Either someone or something had been there, seen that and left that there. So, I mean, you know, make of that, make of that what you will. But we kept on going down to the tree. And on closer inspection, what we realized was that it wasn't a singular tree. There was an older tree, like a more like a rotten tree.
Starting point is 00:44:50 You can see where they had been broken. This wasn't like, so another thing to. this wasn't these weren't trees that had been overturned by whether there wasn't a an uproot at the base of the tree like you know if a tree typically if a tree falls over you can follow it right down to like the roots they'll be like a hole in the ground and the trees the roots will be up in the air
Starting point is 00:45:12 and they'll be completely flat but in both of these trees there was an older one that had been probably dead for a little bit it was a dead tree and then there was a fresh tree on top of it and they were laying and kind of like a crisscross
Starting point is 00:45:30 X like one overlapped on the other and they were both they hadn't been uprooted and like laid over they were both broken like they had like something had like kind of snapped them somehow
Starting point is 00:45:45 and they were about maybe five six or five feet apart, they were both broken at like the same height, like parallel to each other. And one was laying
Starting point is 00:46:00 one way and the other was laying another way. So I tried to like play, I kind of tried to forensic like CSI at it. I was like, well, is there any possible way like one could have like taken the other one down with it when it fell? But like they weren't really,
Starting point is 00:46:16 I don't really see that happening because they wouldn't have been if they had fallen in the direction they were laying, neither one of them, the direction they were laying, if they had fallen that way, neither one of them would have fallen into the path of the other tree.
Starting point is 00:46:32 They would have been side by, there wouldn't have been, there wouldn't have been any connection there. So it was weird because it was like, if this was weather, first of all, there had been no storm. The weather had been super clear that weekend.
Starting point is 00:46:48 And so it's like, it'd be really crazy. for a healthy tree to somehow get snapped like that with no wind, no, no nothing, not at, not in a like it's space, like it had been a rude and fallen over, but like this was, and I have pictures, we took pictures, we took pictures of most of this stuff. And in the picture you can clearly see, and I don't know if Jay sent any of that to you. I don't think I have the tree pictures. I think I have the tree pictures
Starting point is 00:47:21 I can show those to you I can send this over to you later but um there is definitely like a crack like a definite like snap in the tree so we're looking at this and I'm like huh that's as weird like I don't really have it wasn't like someone no tools
Starting point is 00:47:40 like nobody with tools did this this wasn't this is a very crude like snap and so we're looking at this and like well that's kind of weird I don't really have a conventional explanation. Like we're leaning more and more like, oh, this could have been in. It's like,
Starting point is 00:47:53 we know, we were going to go Bigfoot hunting and then that got canceled. And then we went to someplace, not really expecting anything to happen. And like we had our first, like maybe, you know, like maybe something didn't want us there. Maybe something got mad and something wanted us to leave.
Starting point is 00:48:12 So we were kind of stoked. Because, you know, you get that, you get that first little, taste of like, oh, maybe something actually, something actually came out to play last night. So we were thinking, here's what we're going to do. We're too scared to actually walk back in these woods, just the two of us.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Because we asked our friend who was with us, so we asked like, you want to come back out here? And he was like, absolutely not. And I should also mention it. Like, he's kind of played it off like, nothing really happened. It's just you guys. it was nothing.
Starting point is 00:48:49 You guys were freaking out. But I asked him like, I asked him like months later, like, why did you start sprinting down that trail? Because first off, he tried to play like the breathing. I also asked him about like the breathing her.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Like, what did you hear? And he's like, ah, it was just like a truck off in the distance, like driving by on the highway or something. Only there's not really a truck in any distance. It's the woods.
Starting point is 00:49:13 You wouldn't have heard anything from where we were. Yeah, We were in the middle of this area, there's no roads. But I asked him, because I kept on, I kept on bothering him about it. And I asked him, like, so why didn't you start running then? If there was, if there's nothing, why you start running? And he finally admitted to me, it's like, I started running because I felt like something was watching me. And I felt like I needed to leave.
Starting point is 00:49:35 And he, this, he hadn't seen the, you know, the rock. Like he, both times that we had a rock thrown at us, he wasn't next to us. He was further down the trail. So, I don't know. for him to have felt that vibe with, I guess, maybe less, a little less circumstantial evidence. I mean, he saw the tree here at the briefing, but he kind of, you know, played it off at the time. But he still picked up on that vibe. So I think that kind of lends a little credibility to maybe something genuinely was going on.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Me and Jay were like, well, we're going to come back here tomorrow. We're not going to go off in the woods this time. We're going to go adjacent to the woods because we don't want to have a quick getaway. We're not going to leave the car. We're just going to go out here. We're going to pull over and we're just going to make a couple noises and see if anything happens, right? So that's what we did. So around 11 o'clock the following night.
Starting point is 00:50:33 So I think this would have been like July 6th probably. It was a Saturday. I think the fourth was on Thursday. July 6 at 10.30. okay the time yeah the timestamps on the video
Starting point is 00:50:47 because we did and this time we were like we didn't record anything the first time so we are going to do our due diligence we're going to
Starting point is 00:50:56 finding Bigfoot the crap out of this right we're going to have our phones out we're going to whatever happens we're going to pick it up if anything happens
Starting point is 00:51:03 so we pull up we pull up in my little my tiny little super vulnerable key assault we pull up in this little
Starting point is 00:51:13 gravel patch There's lots of little patches where you can pull over and hop off into the woods. So we were in a different position in Crowder. We were kind of like parallel to where we had been the first night, but we were parallel but like on the opposite side. We're to the southwest corner of Crowder. To the southwest. I think the road that goes through there trying to remember the name.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Is it White Road? Out Road. okay so we were we were on that road so i get out of the car i'm like i'm just going to whoop a couple times and you know whatever doing the do the finding bigfoot thing right so i whoop a couple times and like the second i i stopped whooping i start recording i didn't want my whoop to be on camera because i was self-conscious about it but i started recording like the second after that and about a minute went by because we were sitting out there with the windows down for a minute.
Starting point is 00:52:16 And kind of like the previous night, there was one single, very distinct, very loud impact, like a thud. We were both recording it, so that boom happens. And I should also mention again, so going back out there, like pretty much anytime we've been out there, the vibe is always a little off. Like there's always that kind of sense of an E is like, I don't know if I should really be out here right now.
Starting point is 00:52:42 And it was like that when we pulled up. So we were already kind of uncomfortable. But so that happens. And I just kind of sit there in awe. Because in my mind, I'm like, oh, my God, I go out here. I do big-footy thing. Big-footy thing happens immediately after that back in response to what I just did. So I'm thinking, like, in my mind, I'm thinking like, holy crap, there's one.
Starting point is 00:53:12 like right over there if you know like I'm here I am in this in this little car there's like maybe a 900 pound eight guy within maybe 100 yards of me and that's when it's kind of like
Starting point is 00:53:28 oh my God like this thing if this thing walks up to the car like what am I going to do and it's a little side note whenever you got there Nacho had turned this kiosol off which feels like a shoebox
Starting point is 00:53:42 doesn't feel like a safe car turn the keys all off turn the lights off left the windows down left the windows left the doors unlocked and took the keys out of the ignition and put them somewhere so i said up because when i i got out of the car to do the whoop and i got back in and i left my keys sitting on the seat so i sat on my keys so this is going on so i hear the boom and it's like it's not what like it was like the previous night it was not at least it didn't sound like to me it was not wood on wood or stick on stick or rock on rock it was like something hitting the ground very hard it was like just like this it sounded almost like the impact of like a crash or something like it was and it resonated like it wasn't there was an there was an echo to it like it resonated
Starting point is 00:54:38 from beginning to end this whole thing happened maybe within like six minutes or so so i i'm sitting there i'm sitting on my keys i don't realize it so i'm starting to look around like oh my god where are my keys like we're we're seeing ducks out here and i'm just imagining like okay i did this and now it knows i'm here so i just gave my position away so if this thing comes and it wants to check me out you kind of realize that that moment like like, I thought I was ready for like some kind of like legit encounter, whatever. Then you realize, oh, you're not ready for this. You know, it's kind of like, wow, this thing is the way the vibe was at this moment.
Starting point is 00:55:28 It kind of feels, no, I should clarify, we never in either of these situations we're going to talk about, we never saw. like we didn't see one walk out we didn't lay eye we didn't physically lay eyes on one but it was like you could feel the presence of something it was like you were in the presence
Starting point is 00:55:52 of something trying to find a way to say without sounding cheesy it was like you were in the presence of something like you're you're lower on the food chain this thing whatever it is is not only intelligent but it's like on a level that you aren't.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Like, it's on a higher level than you. And it's very, it was very, um, intimidating. It was a level, it was like frightening on a level that if you've never been in that situation is kind of hard to really, and like I said, we didn't, we didn't see it, right? We didn't see anything. It was just this, you know, call response.
Starting point is 00:56:34 And it was close. Like this thud, it was not far away. it was probably within 30 yards and it was loud and it sounded like it was definitely there to like let us know like I know you're here. And so I'm thinking like there's no way like we just pulled up in a spot
Starting point is 00:56:53 and there's like one like just right here. Like I was like we're getting crazy lucky with just the two times we've been out here. No prior Bigfoot hunting before this. Like we just go out here like there's one right here both the time. is like, is this really, this is really happening? But it was like, we heard it.
Starting point is 00:57:11 And it's on the, it's on the recording. So I'm freaking out because I'm like, if this thing walks up, like, I'm going to die. If this thing walks up, I don't, I don't want to see it at this point. So this is all going through my mind. And I'm like, we got to find the keys. We got to, we got to get out of here. But there was something, like, I found my keys. And I started the car, but there was still something that kind of, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:57:35 kind of compelled us to stay from. like a couple minutes longer because we were we were still filming at this point like or at least Jay was like Jay was filming the area around just in case something like that did happen or like something else happened we stuck around I guess just long enough before it was
Starting point is 00:57:53 completely uncomfortable and Jay thinks he was hearing something moving parallel to us like on the other side because I'm going to be honest I didn't I can't speak for him on that because I was so focused on what had just happened next to me. He's on the other side of the car.
Starting point is 00:58:13 He's hearing things that I don't remember hearing. If I did, I don't remember. All I know for sure is I definitely heard what I heard on the other side. Because really neither one of us wanted to get out of the car. Like when we pulled up, when we had the windows down and it just felt wrong. It just felt wrong. So there was this, there is this feeling like I don't really want to get more than 10 feet for my car.
Starting point is 00:58:38 That was the whole point of driving up is that we would have a car that we could just hop in and go if something happened. The car is facing stuff. We heard the nachos sound kind of off to the east of the car. Like you said, maybe 100 yards east. And on my side of the car, it's a little gravel lot and then a wall of trees and then the back road and then it just goes into woods. from there on.
Starting point is 00:59:09 So I kept, I mean, in that five-minute-long video, you can hear me saying there's, there's something walking on my side of the car. I keep hearing something walking over here. And at this point, we did bring flashlights this time. We were semi-smart in this one. We, you know, brought flashlights and I'm shining over there. I keep hearing something. And, you know, at that point, we kind of, we getting comfortable enough.
Starting point is 00:59:35 We're like, okay, there's, there's obviously something weird kind of going on here. So we decided, okay, you know, we're going to do a little turn, you know, get out here. And to turn together, we're facing south. We're on the southeast side of this lot. We had to like almost do a two, three point turn together because we were against, you know, the back corner of this. And then we ended up having to face the side that, you know, I was sitting on. like the west side. In that entire time, I was like, you know, if I, if we turn this car at this point
Starting point is 01:00:10 that had lights around and I see something standing there where I heard something like I heard sounds over there, I'm going to have a heart attack. You know, I'm going to be like, oh my God. This is, this is happening. This is real. So thankfully, you know, whenever we turned, didn't see anything. So we, we leave and we at this point call, you know, our friend Torin, who has been with us the first night and
Starting point is 01:00:34 he's at his house with his wife and we were staying with them. We're like, hey, you know, we have some weird stuff going on over here. You guys should like, you know, come out, you know, check it out. And notches on the phone with them. And while notches on the phone with them, trying to convince them to come out with us
Starting point is 01:00:51 to come back to this exact same spot, I have my phone up to my ear and I'm listening to the five-minute long video. And it's literally right in the beginning in the five-minute long video where I clip that 24 seconds. You can hear the, that like first initial like boom kind of sound.
Starting point is 01:01:09 But I turned to him and I was like, dude, I'm freaking out. I'm like, dude, we got this on video. We heard I have the sound on video. After that, we go pick up, you know, Torne and his wife. And we go back to the same spot, do some sounds, don't hear anything.
Starting point is 01:01:27 But we're sitting in this car. I see off, you know, we're facing the same direction, same orientation. I'm in the same seat. I'm looking to the west side again, and I keep shining a flashlight over there, and I see this what in the moment looked like maybe a two or three foot tall bush,
Starting point is 01:01:42 and something kind of almost like golden brown ducking behind this push. It looked like the same color as a deer. So I was like, and every time I put my flashlight on top of this bush, whatever was behind the bush would duck down. So I was like, oh, it's probably just like a deer or something, you know, checking us out. It's like, you know, most of the time
Starting point is 01:02:00 when you put a light on deer, and it doesn't want to be saying it's probably got a duck down or like try and hide a little bit. Or like, you know, because that deer in the headlights kind of thing. So I was like, oh, it's a deer. You know, it's checking us out because we're out here being stupid people in our 20s, making a unnecessary amount of sound for no reason. So it's a deer checking us out. And I did that for probably 15, 20 seconds.
Starting point is 01:02:22 They kept ducking down. So I was like, all right, whatever. So I shine my light around, you know, other areas of the woods. And then I go back to it probably 30 seconds later. and it's not there. So I'm like, okay, it's, you know, it walked off. So we, you know, we finished up there. We didn't see anything.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Nothing else happened. We drive around to other areas, you know, Fort Crowder, nothing else happens. We're just kind of, we're like, we, you know, at this point, we're like, we got to have something happen. You know, we just dragged our friend and his wife out here at almost 11 o'clock, 1130 at night to come out to the woods because we were like, guys, something happened. And we didn't want to drag him out there for nothing. And so nothing else happens.
Starting point is 01:03:01 We go back to the house and, you know, sail down for the night. At that point, Notcha and I were talking about everything, everything that happened, just kind of recapping. We kind of like how we did that morning of the second day. We go back a third day in the morning to check up the lot. Because we were like, we went out to see, you know, kind of what the woods looked like in the daylight. So we parked in the exact same spot. You know, we kind of walk around a little bit. And I walk over to this bush that I saw something kind of ducking down behind.
Starting point is 01:03:29 and I'm six foot three. I walk up to this tree and I'm looking at, or not even that tree, it's a bush. It's on my side, a few inches taller than me. What I thought was like a two or three foot tall bush is same height as me on, you know, the parking lot side of this bush. So I'm like, wow, this is, this is decently sized. What I saw was ducking down behind this. So I'm like, I kind of want to see size comparison of like, you know,
Starting point is 01:03:57 Nacho and I were about the same high, 6-2, 6-3. So, like, Nacho, you, you stand behind this bush. I'll go sit in this hole because we parked at Keosol, because we parked the exact same spot. And he's like, dude, there's a ditch on the other side of this bush. It's about, like, it's a foot and a half deep on the other side of this bush. So that would make whatever was behind this bush at least seven and a half feet tall, but what I saw was something above the bush ducking down.
Starting point is 01:04:24 And I didn't distinctly see, like, head or shoulders or body. I saw just a golden brown color ducked down behind it and then took my line off at 30 seconds later, went back and nothing's there. It's just black behind this bush. So, you know, I was like, huh, that's not good. I don't like that. I saw something there that was that big. You know, something that big shouldn't be in the ocean, Missouri, which is not a crazy area. So, uh, definitely not an area that really has any as far as I mean, I've done research as far as I can tell there's not really been any other light reports in that particular area in Missouri.
Starting point is 01:05:09 And, uh, I do want to add. So this, you know, parking lot and then also the original trail that we walked down, both times or in day, we tried to walk out into the woods and couldn't get very far because of how dense the woods were. whatever we heard walking in, like around us, and it was one familiar with the area, but then also too familiar enough with the area enough to walk in their pitch black, no flashlight, and not make a lot of sound. Join me on Wednesday night as I do a part two with the guys when they finally make it to Honabi. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email.
