It looked like somebody was bent over and had their head in the window of the deer blind
and it either heard me or smelt me and he pulled his head out of the tent and stood straight up
and that shocked me.
They don't make people that big.
The way it moved, almost as if it was gliding across the bed.
I've never seen anything moves like that in my life.
They were screaming at each other in gibberish.
It sounded like a language and they were chuntering away back and forwards, back and forwards, back and forward.
I know what a bear looks like and there is no way on this planet that what I saw were bears.
A bit is about six foot nine, I don't know.
This is Blair, coming to you from
Alonaga, Georgia, the home of the first gold rush. And you're listening to the best podcast in the world,
Sasquatch Chronicles. Welcome to the show, everyone. Thanks for being here. We're going to be speaking with
David Andrick. He's from Seeking Ontario's Bigfoot. And if you go to Seekingontariosbigfoot.com,
you can check out his research, some of the audio he's captured. And he'll be sharing his different
experiences with us tonight and he brought along a lot of cool audio files they'll be playing for
you and I'm excited to have them on. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show,
shoot me an email. My email address is Wes at Sasquatch Chronicles.com and if you get a chance
to check out Sasquatch Chronicles.com you can become a member and get additional shows. Let's jump
into it tonight. I want to welcome David to the show. David, thanks for being here.
It's my pleasure, Wes. Thanks for having me. Yeah, I'm excited to have you on to talk about your
different experiences and I were going to play some audio tonight. For the audience, go to
Seeking Ontario's Bigfoot.com and check out David's work. David, you actually have a
YouTube channel called Seeking Ontario's Bigfoot. Tell me a little bit about the channel.
we're not really a producer of a lot of social media i mean it's just kind of a secondary
means of communicating and just providing some information because we do get a lot of email inquiries
in terms of people who may be interested in joining our organization and they just kind of oftentimes
will ask you know what's a typical what's a typical outing like or what kind of research are you guys
doing in your out in the field so it's just a place where we can kind of
of share and encapsulate perhaps what we would do during a typical outing and also some
the more interesting finds that we've been able to come across during some of our research.
So our videos are typically like, you know, maybe eight to ten minutes long and they're just
allowing you to kind of like come along with us as we check out a particular property or
investigate some things that we come across when we're out on a
night vigil or sometimes after we've done some analysis, usually revolving around audio analysis
and stuff when we go out and do overnight trips, we always put out audio recorders and
stuff. And we'll just, if we've captured anything of interest or significance, you know,
we'll have a tendency to share that stuff to you. So we're not really monetizing anything.
Like we're not merchandising stuff or anything like that's really just a place for people to kind of get a
sense in terms of who are the people behind the organization and kind of really what our
modus operandi is as far as the mandate and the mantra of the organization and stuff.
And there's some pretty interesting varied information there.
We came across this very unusual set of, they're almost like pungy sticks that were
installed across a game trail in a very, very remote part of a forested area, a couple hours
north of Toronto that we've been investigating for some time.
And it just was very news.
We'd never seen anything like it before.
And it just raised a lot of interesting questions
as to whether or not these animals are actually implementing tool use.
And are they making use of objects in their surrounding
in order to help them perform a more efficient kill or anything?
So we found these sticks that had been installed in the ground
and crossed this game trail at a height that was just,
pretty much at the lower end of the belly of an undulant like a deer or whatever.
And there was no, no one had been getting into this area.
There was no, I mean, there's no signs of hunting activity.
And we really had to bushwhack pretty hard to even get to the spot.
And we were just following up on what we thought may have been a seasonal travel corridor.
So we're trying to see if perhaps these animals were moving through this particular area
at this time of year.
In this area, there are some seasonal fish runs.
There's also various tender fruit crops
that come to fruition in the fall.
So we had always suspected that the animals
were moving through this area.
And during this reconnaissance,
we came across as very unusual set of sticks
that were crossed this game trail.
And we're like, this is really done intentionally.
This took a lot of thought, a lot of planning.
and it required absolutely to have, you know, the dexterity of being able to use hands to do it.
And it just didn't make sense for a person to do it.
Like, why would you, if you're a hunter, why would you bother going through something like that
to assist you in, you know, killing your quarry or whatever?
But, you know, if you were living, you know, in a feral condition and you're trying to
increase your odds and your chances of making a successful kill, in that case, it made
every bit of sense.
And it was just a very, very interesting open question.
So that's, you know, one of our videos explores that topic.
Yeah, and I know that we have some audio we're going to play that you guys have captured.
And I was kind of curious how you got into this.
But can you back up for a moment?
Will you kind of explain the sticks and why it stood out to you that this find you're talking about?
Sure.
So we'd come around this roundabout within the forest,
and we just finished climbing over a lot of deadfall and stuff like that.
So it was just this ground cover.
It looked almost like Ivy, but it was much taller.
But we noticed that there was a very, very noticeable game trail
that had been used by suspect deer or whatever,
undulating through this portion of the forest system.
And I'm like, I'm just going to go see if I can, you know, find any hair or find any other
possible indicators that, you know, the Sasquatch have traveled through here or whatever.
And as I was walking through, my foot nudged into one of the sticks.
And then I was like, okay, I'll just decide to bend over and have a look to see what I bumped my foot into.
And it was probably like, it was hardwood.
I'm guessing maple.
but the sticks were probably
maybe two and three quarter feet long,
maybe three feet long,
and there were probably about the width of my index finger.
So,
you know, significant width, very strong, very dry.
The ends of the sticks had,
they looked like they had been chewed on almost
into a very conical point,
quite sharp actually.
Like there was no sign of hardening by fire
or anything like that.
But it was definitely absolutely modified.
And then when I rooted around a bit more,
I realized there was another one coming up in the opposite direction.
And they were crossing each other to stabilize each other
across the central portion of the path.
And then I just cleared out a little bit more.
And there was two more doing exactly the same thing.
So there are four sticks crossing this pathway.
And if something had crossed that or ran across that at high speed,
whether it was being chased or whether it was being pursued or something like that,
those sticks would have literally guided that animal, and that animal would have bled out.
I have no doubt.
So it was very, very, very definitive structure that was built, very, very conscientiously made.
And to me, it just didn't make sense, didn't make sense as to why people would do something like that.
And the reason we were back in that area is we did a night vigil,
probably about half a
kilometer away from there
the previous week.
We did an overnight session there
and when I had put out my audio
recorders, we captured
a lot of good
indicators that the animals
were possibly in the area and we'd also
I'd also personally
found some tracks along
a river system that beandered
probably around 15 minutes south
of where we were at that evening.
So there were lots of indicators that the animals are in the area.
There was good audio evidence when I was reviewing the audio after that night,
vigil.
There was a lot of aggressive foot stumps.
There were some unusual calls for sure.
And on numerous occasions that night, we knew that there was something encircling
our camp.
Like we could just hear it pushing through the bush and breaking branches
and intermittent tree knocks and stuff like that.
So we had suspected the animals were in the area.
So we're just trying to, you know, try to determine whether there's any seasonality pattern to it or not.
We were there on the fall when this happened.
And then literally the next day, we found this really massive tree structures, massive TP structure,
not far at all from where these sticks were found.
So this TP was probably 12, 13 feet high.
And it was just massive.
And it was in the middle of nowhere.
It was like literally in the middle of nowhere in the middle of this forest.
There's no signs of any human activity, no cigarette butts or anything else that people
typically leave behind.
So that is also, I believe I added that into the end of that video.
So that kind of encapsulates like a typical video for us, just kind of like a general
overview of, you know, an evening, a semi-productive evening that we've had out.
Yeah, and I'll include a link to the YouTube channel, Seeking Ontario's Bigfoot.
Tell me, what made you want to spend your time looking into this?
I mean, was it a sighting that you had?
I did, but that's not originally what precipitated me getting into this whole, you know,
very, very unique, ongoing, ever-evolving mystery.
I think I actually probably know less now than I did when I started.
Maybe not no less, but I have more questions.
And perhaps I did when I started.
And I really credit three people in particular, probably who had I not met,
I certainly would not have stayed as long in this pursuit as I have
and would not have enjoyed it as much as I have.
my actual setting came after I had already been in this organization for a couple of years.
I will tell you about that.
But I just want to give credit to the gentleman named Peter Smith,
who was the organizer, proprietor of an excellent research group in Ontario called the
Interview Ontario Wildlife Field Research Organization.
And it was through meeting him and chatting with.
him. I reached out to him via his own website. At that time, I was just really, really wanting to,
I was really wanting to kind of get myself back into nature when I was living in Toronto.
And I know he didn't get that background, but I lived in Toronto most of my adult life.
And I was always, always an avid outdoors person when I was younger, but I moved to Toronto.
I mean, Toronto is a concrete jungle, literally. So after, you know, having been there for about a dozen
and years. I was just really wanting to get out of the city more and more on the weekends and
escape the noise of the city and the traffic and the pollution. And so I was always interested
in, you know, various wildlife research and stuff. And I have a background in geomatics and GIS and
digital mapping and stuff like that. So I was always very interested in patterns of movement of
animals and stuff and predictors of animal behavior and predictors of how animals travel. At that time,
there's a lot conjecture about whether there were cougars back in the province of
Ontario and there were a lot of people reporting things, but no one was really keeping track
of them and our natural resources management group in Ontario where these these sightings and
stuff. So I went on to this website that Peter ran where a lot of these questions were
being discussed and I just reached out to him on a personal level and I said, you know,
I'd be really interested in looking into some of this research with you guys.
And he's like, okay, well, I can give you some areas to check out in some areas that are not too far from you that you might be assured in looking at.
And as our trust evolved and as he vetted me, I guess, and, you know, kind of accepted me into the fold of his organization,
he started revealing some more interesting information regarding Bigfoot activity and Sasquatch activity, which I was.
like, really, I was a bit skeptical at the time, but after having gone to a location that he
suggested I go look at, I had my own first personal, not a first person encounter there, but I had
a series of definite tree knocks as I was walking through this park system. I didn't really,
I didn't really know significance of that at the time, but it was very definitive in what I heard
and ongoing.
And after I had brought that account back to Peter,
he shared with me the number of reports and stuff that came from that area.
And he sent me a KML Alpha of a map of all the reports in that area in the last 30 years.
And that whole area was inundated with Bigfoot reports going back decades.
So he's like, it's highly probable that what you experienced was, you know,
daytime watchers, whatever, who were perhaps, you know, watching you progress
through this park system, just kind of keeping tabs on you.
I was like, really, that's fascinating.
Because that in and of itself kind of alludes to some sort of social structure amongst
the group itself, meaning that, you know, there's actually some sort of cohesive social contract
among these animals where they actually look out for each other.
And I just like, well, that's, that to me, it's just on another level entirely.
So that got me really, really interested.
And then I was vacationing up in an area called the Muscoca region, which is about two to two and a half hours north of Toronto, Ontario.
And I worked at a resort up in that area when I was in my late teens.
And I always went back there for at least a week in the summer because it was just a beautiful, beautiful spot, beautiful segregated lake with unspoiled, unspoiled wilderness.
And even at that point, I should have realized what I learned from my pre-strip.
There's probably activity in that area too, but I was just up there to kick up my feet,
play guitar, and go swimming.
So when I was up there on my last vacation, Peter reached out to me and he called me and said,
there's a family not far from where you are.
I'm coming down later this day.
If you want to come down and we can go and check out and investigate this property where
they've been having ongoing activity for a couple of years,
are you interested?
And I was like, absolutely, absolutely.
So I drove down, it was probably about 40 minutes from where I was staying.
And I met the family that was living on the property and they explained to me what was going on.
And they had their own visualization.
Their daughter was seeing what we suspected was a juvenile Sasquatch on their property,
which the parents initially thought maybe was like,
like maybe an active figment of their child's imagination, like, you know,
invisible friends sort of thing, right?
That kids kind of, you know, they go in and out of these stages and stuff like that.
So I called Peter.
I said, I'm here.
He's like, okay, we'll have a look around.
You know, I'll be down there probably about three hours.
Check out the property.
Have a look around.
And I went to the backside of this property, which was on this ravine system.
And I just came across all of these telltale.
stick structures, which I knew now.
Back then, I didn't really have as good a grasp on what these were, what they potentially
meant.
But they were just all over the backside of this property, all kinds of TP structures, X's,
ground lifts.
And I got a, I got a really, really serious sense of dread when I walked past there.
And I'm like, I can't go any further.
I'm going to have to wait until Peter gets here to investigate any further.
Anyways, Peter showed up later that day and we actually, he actually managed to bring down a good friend of his from North Bay, Ontario, who's an expert tracker.
And he's a professional hunting guy and stuff like that.
And he took us out the next day and we scoped out the property and he found all kinds of tracks all around the property.
Juvenile prints, you know, prints up to like 16 inches.
So I was like, okay, well, this is blowing my mind literally, like seeing these trackways and stuff like that.
And just talking with Peter, and he was just, he's such an incredible teacher and he's so experienced.
I mean, he's been, he had already been researching probably for 20 plus years.
And he comes from a highly technical background.
He was a professional engineer by trade.
So, you know, to have these conversations with people who are very well grounded and very well informed and very experienced was just, it really literally just was like adding the fuel to my curious nature.
So at that point, I was like, I'm going to have to be seriously invested in this for sure.
Like, this is just something that I know I'm going to have a lifelong fascination with.
So if you want, I can tell you about my own personal encounter, which happened actually in 2002.
So I was back in Ontario at that time.
I was there visiting some friends at an area at the very, very northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula,
which is a large peninsula that runs along the east side of Lake Huron.
and it's a beautiful natural corridor.
The Bruce Trail system runs for hundreds of kilometers,
and the final endpoint of it is at the top of the peninsula.
I had a town called Tobramori,
which is very, very, very beautiful place, very picturesque.
I was up there and actually do a dive the next day
because they have some old shipwrecks up there.
And I was visiting a couple of friends of mine
who'd rented a cottage just outside of town.
So it was within walking distance.
So I ended up going down there late afternoon.
And yeah, we just took in some swimming.
We had a barbecue and stuff like that.
And time just went by pretty quickly.
And I realized the next time I looked at my watch,
I should probably get back to my hotel room
because I had to get up pretty early for my dive the next day.
So I was walking back along the road that followed right along the water,
basically it followed right along this little channel and my hotel was maybe 15 minutes away from
their cottage and it was only just on the outskirts of of the of tober mori itself so by
no means very very far removed or whatever it was pretty close and I was just coming around
the corner it was around 1030 maybe 1045 at night and as I came around the corner um all
I could, you know, I walked, just ran, did this roundabout.
And as I was walking on the parking lot, going towards the front of the hotel,
I just stopped in my tracks because I'm looking forward down the asphalt parking lot.
And there was this massive steel drum garbage can, like twice the size of a regular steel drum.
It was just huge.
And I'm guessing that's just where everyone would chuck their garbage in when they leave the hotel or whatever.
and it was sitting on this concrete pad right near, actually not far from the hotel's office at all,
maybe like 30 feet or something like that, not far at all.
And the hotel itself was a two-level modest hotel.
It wasn't super fancy or anything like that.
But on the second floor, on the bottom of the concrete pad, where the patios were for the second floor,
there are these floodlights shining down towards and.
of the parking lot.
So this garbage can was
really, really well backlit.
And the lights were kind of
shining down towards the full extent
of the parking lot. So as I came around the
corner, I could just hear this
massive, like, rustling noise.
And I'm like, okay, well,
I remember that.
I remember back in the day, like,
working at the resort when bears would
regularly go through the garbage cans down
or the beach and stuff like that, similar kind of
sound. But it was much, much louder.
And like you could literally hear like, I don't know if there's limbs banging on the side of the steel drum, whatever, is quite intense and quite loud.
And then as I looked up down towards, as I looked towards this garbage can, all I could see was something leaned over head first, shoulders first, into this can.
And it's just spinning its arms around, like, looking for it.
And I'm like, what is that?
Because it was, the garbage can itself was very tall.
It was probably, I'm guessing, I mean, it was up to my chest.
So five feet, maybe just over five feet.
And it's just, it doesn't know I'm there yet.
So I just keep walking a little bit further.
And then all of a sudden it popped its head out and its shoulders out.
I don't know if it smelled me or I don't know if it, I don't know what gave it away.
Maybe my foot steps or whatever.
But anyways, it reared itself out of this garbage can, and it stood upright.
And when this thing stood completely upright, this thing was massive, massive.
I've seen a lot of bears in my day when I worked up at the resort.
I've seen a lot of bears, very familiar with their morphology.
I'm very familiar with the shape of them.
When this thing stood completely upright, its shoulders were, I mean, the breadth of these
shoulders were just absolutely massive.
And the shape of the head was a very, very conical, very typical, like as you'd say,
a big foot shaped head, very conical in nature.
No definitive neck.
Like I didn't see, I couldn't see any direct attachment from the head to the torso.
It just kind of, it's like the head just kind of continued on from the, from the shoulders.
And its arms were draped down on its sides.
And its arms were really, really, like very long, like disproportionately long.
way longer than a bearer's lips would be.
So hanging down the side,
I couldn't really see much of the legs
because they were behind the can,
but the arms looked like they're about three quarters
of the way down on the garbage can.
And its shoulders were just massive,
and its torso was huge.
And it's just blocking out,
like a huge amount of the light
beaming down by the lights that were attached
to the bottom of the patio.
So I could just get a good, good sense of its outline.
I couldn't see its face.
I couldn't really see any additional detail with respect to the face it's all for whatever.
But I can definitely see like the the hair, the outline of the hair, like the kind of the glow around the body from the light.
And it was a very, very fine, I would say long, though.
The hair was rather long, shaggy, shaggy type hair, but fine.
And anyways, this thing stood up and I guess it realized, I guess you realized I was looking at it and I had its attention and it had my attention.
It was looking directly at me.
And it's just standing there and I'm looking at this thing.
I'm like, okay, well, what's going to happen next?
Like we're kind of going to standoff here.
And then it made no further gestures at all.
It didn't, you know, it really didn't make any noise.
It didn't wave its arms.
It didn't make any, didn't threaten me in any way.
All it did is it stood up and it took right off on two feet.
It ran on two feet across that parking lot in the span of a couple seconds.
And this parking lot was huge, huge, this big asphalt parking lot.
And I mean, the speed of this thing was just mind-blind.
I couldn't believe it.
And I was dumped at it.
I mean, I'm looking at this.
Sam.
I'm trying to process what I just said.
saw and I'm questioning, you know, what was that? What did I just see? And I mean, it just,
the first thing I came to mind was bare. But then when I ran through the details of it,
when I was like, I was not in shock, but I was really, really taken about about what I saw. And I just
stood there and watching that thing run off on two legs as fast as it did. And there was a tree line
right off the far side of the parking lot that it just absconded into and god knows where it went
after that but it shocked me like it just totally shocked me when i saw it i can't say 100% it was a
it was a saskatch but i mean it ticked pretty much every box that i could i could think of
in terms of size and proportion and morphology and speed and behavior um yeah i mean thank
God it was benign.
Thank God I didn't, you know, act aggressively or something like that.
Like, I know bears, when you get between a bear and its food, it can get a little bit, a little bit more in your face and a little bit more confrontational.
But this thing was not confrontational.
It just took off.
So that's the only, you know, real suspected sighting I've ever had, although I've been out on, you know, numerous encounters with members of the Seeking Ontario Bigfoot team.
specifically Kevin Tracy when we were walking through was one of our primary research sites.
And he halted me as we were about, I would say, a half an hour into the bush.
He told me to stand fast.
I'm like, well, what's going on?
He goes, I see something.
I'm like, okay, I'm trying to zero in on where he's pointing.
And he's like, he's looking at something very, very intently, which I couldn't see what he was seeing.
But he was looking at something very, very intently at the top of the canopy of the trees about,
maybe 20 yards away.
And he's like, David, I want to tell you,
I just saw this branch had been pulled over.
And I saw this set of eyes and this face
looking down at us.
And when I looked at it and it saw that I saw it,
it released this branch and it swung back.
But he's like, I know what I saw.
He goes, there's something there.
when Kevin had gestured over to where that branch was,
all I saw was the branch of turn into its original position.
Unfortunately, I didn't catch to see what he had saw just before that.
But Kevin is very much a straight shooter.
I know he's not one to embellish anything at all.
And it was a very, very still day.
There was no wind or anything like that.
So I had curiosity is like, I wanted to push forward.
He didn't really want to go forward.
I'm like, I will go at a steady pace.
You can just wait here and you can follow me.
Give me a five or ten second lead.
And then you can follow me and I'll see what's going on.
So I started pushing through and probably about 10 seconds in,
there was this massive snapping sounds, huge, like crack.
And all I saw was it was a very, very large birch tree.
I just saw the top of this tree topple right over.
I couldn't see what pushed it over, or I couldn't see what caused it to fall.
But it was the only thing that was affected by whatever was exerting this force on it.
And again, the weather was calm, no wind.
And this tree just toppled right over.
So it was, I think it was aggressively pushed over as a, you know, as a potential warning, like, don't come any further.
At that point, we both just kind of stopped and we're like, okay, you know what?
I think we should just not go any further
here. There's only two of us.
We should just kind of make note of what happened here
and we'll just slowly retreat back to the main trail system.
So that had happened there
and at the same location
probably about six months later
there was myself, Kevin Tracy
and the two other team members that were with us
and we were pushing through
the similar area where we came across,
this inland small lake that was also part of this park system and we noticed that there
is this unusual structure out on the island in the middle of this lake and we wanted to get closer
to look at it and we were trying to figure out a way how to be able to get across and investigate
it further and as soon as we walked across this little this little board block that had been
installed by the park system staff these rocks came absolutely out of you know we
and started splashing in the water on either side of us.
There was three large rocks that came down in a span of about 10 seconds.
I was in the front.
I was at the very, very front.
I had already made it across this little causeway before the rock started coming down.
But the two people behind me turned around and look behind them and they were completely,
like, what the hell is that?
Where are these coming from?
We couldn't see where they were coming from.
I mean, the area was clear.
We could see probably, I would say, 30 yards at least in each direction
before there was forest cover there.
So we don't know what through these rocks,
but I mean, I'm thinking we were again, you know,
pressing in on their territory.
I don't know if there was, you know,
I don't know if there was a family unit there or something like that.
And I'm just supposing.
I'm making my own supposition here.
but perhaps we were getting too close to a vulnerable family member or something like that
and they just started throwing rocks out of us.
And again, we just stopped at that point and we decided to pull back and regroup and plan
for another day.
But so we have a number of regular sites that we do, we do regularly investigate or have in the past.
And we've had, you know, pretty significant events.
that all of them. And the thing that I find really surprising is that these areas are not that far
from major population centers, too. Although the areas that we delve into these, these park systems
are well off the trail and well beyond where most people would hike. But they are all interconnected
by whenever we go to find a new place to investigate, we do a lot of analysis through Google Earth
and have a really good look at the topography and try to figure out, is there sufficient water there?
Is there travel corridors there?
Is there access to food there?
Like natural sources of food.
And all these areas that we investigate in are all highly prolific in local food crops and stuff too.
So there's a lot of food there.
I know there's a lot of river systems.
We've been able to find some decent tracks.
I've captured some pretty good audio.
Yeah, and there's several clips of audio clips you sent me.
I want to play for the audience.
Can we back up for a second?
The farm that you were investigating with the family,
what was actually going on there?
And why did they call you guys out?
Did they want you guys to get rid of these creatures?
So there's a couple properties that we do regularly.
surveil.
One is in Pennsylvania.
I think the one you're probably referring to
is the one in central Ontario
that I sent you some of the audio recordings from.
So they've been having
activity there as far back as
the owner's great-grandmother.
So the great-grandmother
basically reported
this
it was described as a
big foot or saskwash
or this huge hairy
person had been living on the property
intermittently for the entire time that she'd lived there.
And she had passed away.
And then the property went follow for about 10 years before the grandson decided to take on the property and develop it into a completely off-grade property.
So something totally self-sufficient.
And after having been there for about six months, they're very heavily into self-sufficiency.
So they're raising their own livestock.
and it was during the time when they were butchering these hogs
and they were composting the remnants of the butchering process
that they think that this animal either came back
or the offspring of the animal came back.
Anyways, they started having a heavy ramp up in activity
and there were actually at one point,
a sighting of a big foot reaching into one of their pens
and actually lifting out one of their hogs and running off of it.
So, yeah, so they've been experiencing various types of activity.
For the most part, pretty, pretty benevolent.
But on occasion, on occasion the animals had been unbeknownst and unbeknownst and had become
increasingly aggressive with things such as like there's a trailer on the back that
long time next to camp out and stop that and come up and just wail away on the side of his trailer
and at one point it actually broke this massive paint and glass that covered the entire front
of the trailer to the tune of like $10,000.
You kind of broke up there, David.
So there was a trailer on the backside of the home and one of these creatures came up and
started just smashing it and caused about $10,000 worth of damage.
I mean, what do you think is actually set this thing off?
I think just the fact that the family moved back and that there are people there 24-7,
a full family there living there full-time.
And the people that live there, they were active hunters and stuff like that.
And they were also clearing a significant portion of the back part of the property off
with the anticipation of a potential electrical contractor coming in and taking over a part of the property.
So I think it was the clearing of some of the forest area that perhaps may have been of significance to these animals that may have set them off.
So anyways, they reached out to us to John Paul, who's one of the other co-founders, and John Paul was able to gain their trust and allow us access to the property in.
And we've been studying this area for, oh, I'd say about three years now.
and yeah
I mean every time we've set up audio
recorders there or whatever we
get some pretty interesting audio
like some
really distant
but very unnerving kind of
screams
and there's not
there's not a lot of other properties
in that in that adjacent area
and this area is close to an area called
the Warsaw Caves
which is a huge
huge cursed
cast system
of caves and a highly, highly prolific area for Big Flood reports.
So they've actually had visuals on that property numerous, numerous times.
There was one very unnerving one actually at one point where one of the signs was at hunting.
And they have a small, it's a small subcabin that they keep on the property on the very, very left extent of the property where they seem to find most of the trackways, most of the footprints going past
this little cabin.
And he was out hunting there one night at dusk.
And he had just,
he was just working with his way back to the house after an unsuccessful hunt.
And he had felt like he had been following it.
He had been followed.
And there's bears and there's wolves there too.
So he's very careful.
And so he decided to,
he was going to just,
for safety reasons,
just tuck into this little cabin.
And I mean, it's tiny.
It seats maybe.
like two people, three people.
It's very, very basic.
But it has a couple of small windows in it,
and it's just something made out of logs entirely.
But you can walk the door and everything like that.
So he's like, I'm just going to go in here,
I'm going to wait for this animal to pass,
whatever it was.
And he locked the door, and he was sitting in there,
and he had a shotgun, and he peered out the window,
and he saw this massive, massive,
upright, hairy figure come bearing down,
the trail walking towards the cabin.
And he's,
this wasn't the first time he saw.
He already knew this.
He already knew this thing was on the property.
And he'd always kept his wits about him.
But when he saw this thing approaching the cabin,
he was,
he backed himself,
this is his account to us.
He backed himself up to the very,
very farthest back portion of the cabin with a shotgun rear
at the door,
waiting for the door to pop open.
He was absolutely terrified.
And this thing started beating down on the roof,
beating down hard on the roof of this,
cabin and he was absolutely just terrified and he's like the only thing I can do is shoot if this
if this door opens I'm just going to have at it I'm going to have to I'm going to have to let
I mean you have to let my gun go off and he just sat there and he just waited out and and the thing
eventually left after about he said about 10 minutes and that really I mean that would unnerve anybody
but this one particular son
has probably had the most direct encounters
with this ongoing
probably large male
that's there
and there is a family living there
because the family have seen
a female and a juvenile
on the property as well
while they were sitting out on their back porch
so there is a family living there
and
they suspect that they've been
bearing offspring there
probably every couple years
just based on the size of the visuals that they have,
the size of the juvenile that they've seen,
or the various juveniles they've seen on the property.
So we've been there and we've done some overnight vigils there on a number of occasions
and we've never had a direct confrontation.
But some of the audio that I sent you is pretty suggestive that there's something there
other than the distant screens and stuff like that that you can hear.
One recording that I sent you is a compilation.
you can hear something walking up to the recorder and walking away and that's not a person there was nobody else in that area except me and my two co-founders and we were we knew where we were and we were nowhere near that recorder and no one else was there that weekend and this is a private property was zero access from the outside so yeah let's check out some of this audio this is the bipedal walk and grunt that gravel there is extremely
hard packed.
I'm pushing 2.40,
and I can't even make
the most minute sound out of that grovel.
So whatever was walking up there was
extremely heavy.
The one clip I would, I think maybe
is kind of the most conclusive
and the most primate sounding is
the
chatter audio that I sent
you that we recorded in a
very large provincial park in southern Ontario.
And it literally just sounds
like, I mean, it sounds primate to me, but it just this ongoing screaming, but I can't explain it.
I've sent it off to numerous primatologist, Banda, and no one has an explanation for it.
They probably don't even want to touch it, to be honest, but I think it's a pretty interesting piece of audio.
Yeah, let's take a listen to that.
Was that a continuous chatter or was that kind of on a loop?
Yeah, that was one continuous vocalization.
It sounds, it sounds extremely like a primate to me, like more than any,
maybe more than any other audio I've ever heard.
It sounds more primate than, you know, like, you know, what you call a hominid or whatever.
It sounds primate to me.
But this is in southern Ontario.
Like this is, this is in a park system.
like, you know, an hour and a half in Toronto.
It's not supposed to be apes in Ontario.
Yeah.
You wouldn't think they'd be there, but they're definitely there.
I want to hear this Holland Central Howl.
Where did you guys get this from?
So that was somebody who came to us through our,
we have a submission form on our website for reports.
And this woman was standing on her back patio in evening after dinner.
and this area that she lives in
is not that far from Toronto again
maybe about an hour and a bit
however the surrounding area
does have some large tracts of forest
and again it's interconnected to other areas
that leads to larger areas so I think these animals
are just passing and transiting through
these interconnected areas
and she was just completely unnerved
she's like what is this like this is like this is unlike
anything I've ever heard before
So she sent in this audio to us
And then one of our members of the time went up and did an interview
There's actually a video of that interview on our YouTube channel
But it sounds actually very similar to the audio that was captured out
An island off of Vancouver Island by an Aboriginal gentleman
Who was out one evening near a longhouse and he was recording at nighttime
Because he kept hearing this very very same vocalization out there
but it sounds remarkably similar.
Yeah, let's take a listen real quick.
Jesus.
It's crazy.
That one actually reminds me of the Pew Wallop screamer here that happened back in the 70s.
A little bit deeper,
but very similar cadence.
The other one he sent me that was titled Strange Call,
this was from the Preventus,
potential park. What's the story
behind this one?
Yes, so we did a fall excursion to
this park very close to one of the
crown jewels in the Ontario Park system
named Algonquin Park.
This is an area I've always wanted to have a look
at and explore and we
went there and
I set up my audio recorder
just, we picked
a jam site at the very, very farthest
edge where the forest
area be where we'd get the least amount of
human noise degradation or ambient noise people around us.
So I wanted to put my recorder out in the forest area on the backside of the property
quite far in.
And there's nothing on that side.
There's absolutely nothing but open forest where that recorder was on that side.
But that is just a one-off screen that, like, I timestamp that around due in the morning.
It's similar to the vocalization that less stress.
heard or was witness to when he did his episode in the Appalachian system where this I can't
remember the gentleman's name or the Scott Carpenter made something who came across
these two Sasquatches that were having these vocalizations with each other in
in a pocket of forest very similar sounding screen this to me doesn't sound primate
this to me sounds more like a relative hominid or something but I know there was no
there because we had a heavy delusion of rain the night before that pretty much cleared everyone
out of the campsite and we were like literally the only ones that stayed in the area so and it was
just coming from a very very large blanketed part of the forest so i can't explain what made that
if it if it's not i mean i'm you know i'm being conjective and seeing that it's bigfoot but it sounds to me like
like a harm you didn't find.
Yeah, let's take a listen.
I've actually heard that before.
I heard that in Texas.
And I remember when I very first heard it,
it reminded me more of a man.
Exactly.
I've sent it off to Dave Ellis,
who's been really actually great to organization.
He's always super helpful.
I sent it off to Barbie Orcott.
Nobody knows.
Nobody knows what it is.
Yeah.
sometimes when you're out there you'll hear vocalizations.
I've had recordings sent to me where I think,
God, that sounds like a man.
Too loud to be a man.
But it sounds like a man.
And I appreciate you sending the audio over so we can listen to it.
What do you think Sasquatch is?
Well, okay.
So personally, with some kind of more recent happening,
within the organization.
I'm going to give you a little bit of the backstory.
So this property owner in central Ontario
has a associate who was an excavator
who worked at a site north of Toronto
who uncovered a very unusual tooth.
Actually, it wasn't a singular tooth.
I believe there was four teeth in total.
He didn't know what they were.
He was so intrigued by them.
He actually submitted them to the Royal Ontario.
Museum in Toronto to have a look because they have a really good polyentology department.
And they apparently did a DNA sample on the tooth.
In the pictures, you can see that a core sample had been taken from the root of a tooth
and there's like a catalog number on the tooth.
And the determination was that this tooth belonged to gigantic epithecis blackie,
which I mean is if that's in fact,
correct. That would be a major scientific discovery. Now, the results have been called in the
question because the letter that confirmed this fact had been lost by the owner. So we've been trying
to get the owner of the tooth to submit a sample to Darby Orcott to do a DNA study
to corroborate the results. This tooth was carbon data to only being around 200 years old. It wasn't
old enough to even be fossilized.
So the brandifications of that are, I mean, major, if this is in fact true.
That would mean that giganticus Blackie would have been existing or residing in Ontario
as recently as 200 years ago, which means, I mean, that's a blink in the eye in terms of
evolutionary time.
So is it possible that it's still around?
Is it possible that it's still alive?
Who knows?
we're trying to convince the owner to relinquish another physical sample to send down to
Mr. Orcott in I believe is in North Carolina to corroborate the results.
But I do believe, I do believe Bigfoot is either a continuation of the bloodline of
giganticopithecus or it's a possible a relict hominid that has, you know, has, is a,
as an early offshoot of the evolutionary tree and has just managed to probably likely
migrated from, you know, the caucus region in Asia and came across probably the same time as,
you know, maybe the willy mammoths or whatever. But I mean, there's still reports of
omnis and all these relicotomelids in the foothills of Afghanistan and Russia and all these
different areas of Asia. So it's it's one of the two. That's that's my personal opinion.
Yeah, that's a pretty big claim. I would love to see the results from the tests on the
tooth. You said he lost the results? Yeah, he lost the letter, the corroboration letter.
Unfortunately, what happened actually was when the museum wrote him back with the results,
they stated that the result was that,
the DNA matched that of gigantic,
ginaphythicus blocky.
However, in the same letter,
they also said that unfortunately the specimen
had been destroyed during the testing process.
Yet, when he got the results back,
the tooth was in the envelope,
which is like,
that either means there was
an intention to deceive
or it was an honest mistake.
And which is which.
so now he's unfortunately
he's a bit apprehensive about handing over another sample
we're still working on it
we're still trying to we're still putting some
gentle leverage on him to be able to
relinquish another portion of the tooth
whatever to get to dar because I know
straw cuts been very very heavily
taking on this
genome study
so I'm really hoping we can get that down
down to him in his hands. That would be great.
Yeah, I'd be real curious to know of what comes of this whole thing.
A lot of times when they pull DNA out of a sample or a specimen like that,
they'll ruin it for people in the future trying to pull DNA or extract DNA from it.
But it doesn't necessarily mean the tooth was destroyed.
It just means it can't be used again to pull DNA from.
that's my understanding anyway
but I would love to know
what you guys find out with these teeth
and I don't know why he's holding on
to them. I mean
is he going to pass him down to his
grandchildren or I mean
I don't understand people like that why they don't just
find out what it is
but definitely let me know
and I really appreciate you
taking the time to come on and share
your research and the audio
and I'm real curious about
that tooth but thank you
so much, David.
Thanks to the West. I appreciate it. It's always
fun to talk about the big
hairy, scary guy.
Thanks again, David. And that's it for tonight,
everyone. Remember, if you've had an encounter,
shoot me an email. My email address is
Wes at Sasquatch Chronicles.com.
And if you get a chance to check out
Sasquatch Chronicles.com, you can become a member
and get additional shows.
Until next time.
