Sasquatch Chronicles - SC EP:514 Encounters On The Property
Episode Date: February 9, 2019A listener writes "I first encountered Bigfoot in 79. I was 6 years of age. I grew up in Byhailya Miss 20 miles from Memphis on a small farm house 15 archers or so. It was me my mom 3 older sisters an...d my nephew a year younger than myself. We had chickens with a small coup a about 15 birds. An old smoke house, old barn and a nice garden. The landlord had about 60 cows in the back of the property in a large pasture. We also had two dogs and this place had no running water. It all started when me and mom went to the eggs out of the coup,so she could get back in to watch her stories on tv. Me and my nephew would watch with her lol. So when we came back in and began to watch tv around noon. The phone rang, it was our neighbor and her good friend ,that lived about 2 miles away. She said a creature had came on her property and picked up her small child as she was hanging clothes on the line on the side of her trailer house. She said the child wondered to the front yard, when she heard it cry frantically. She said she went to the front of property to see this creature with her child under its arms as it started off with the kid down her driveway. She picked up a garden hoe and gave chase, hitting this thing in the back it drops the kid and runs off ,down the road to the woods in our direction. She calls the Sheriff and then calls my mother to warn her knowing me and my nephew were little. I saw my mom go into full alert mode. Locking down the house all doors and windows locked ,loading rifles and shotguns. Scared the hell out of me and my nephew. We never locked a door or window, we never had too. We knew she had guns they weren't loaded. I didn't know anything about a monster they were make believe but my mom had to believe her or knew of this thing. How can a person call and tell you they saw a monster and you not bat an eye. My family encountered the creature that night with gunfire."

Black thing go from left to right, and I thought, I'm going to die out here and no one's ever going to know.
I couldn't believe what my eyeballs was showing me.
I'll never forget how evil the eyes were.
It was horrible.
I mean, I've never seen nothing that evil.
It ran towards me at a rate that I can't even explain, turned and stared at me.
And this look of, I just want to kill you.
I want to say it was human, but it wasn't.
He was yelling at me to grab a gun, grab a gun.
I was like, for what? He said, just grab a gun.
And there's footprints all the way to the door of my house.
It had went inside my garage all the way to the door.
911, what are you reporting?
Get somebody out here.
What's going on now, sir?
That son of a bitch is about six foot nine, I don't know.
Do you see him now, sir?
Yes, I'm looking right at him.

a long-haul truck driver. And so I'm going to ask him what the strangest thing he's ever seen while he was
out driving. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email.

Let's jump into it tonight. I want to welcome Demetrius to the show. Demetrius, thanks for coming on.
It's going well. Thanks for asking. And thank you so much for being here. And I know you grew up in rural
Mississippi. If you would, would you just kind of walk us into what happened? How did all of this? I know you had
your own encounter, and we'll get to that in a minute. But how did all of this start on the property?
Well, actually, and we saw her going to the door. We went to the door. We ain't seen nothing at first.
It was a UFO. I mean, it had to be his maid, and he's doing pretty good for himself, and he moved to the city.
But he still had this. Every now he'd come and feed and, you know, birth out of something, young, young calves or whatever.
We actually lived in Mississippi.
Around about 12 from the chicken.
It was every day or every other day.
Me and her and my nephew would actually go get eggs.
Let me set this up for you.
It was me, my mom, my nephew, he was a year younger to me,
and my three sisters on the property.
Barn, it was kind of fenced off.
I always wondered why it was an old smokehouse that was abandoned.
And we had probably been a 20 chickens that my mother would get eggs from
and sell eggs and stuff like that.
and we had two dogs on the property.
Like I said, we was living pretty good, you know, out there, not a carrot in the world.
One day, probably around about noontown, we had just got the, when they got the eggs,
and my mom was trying to hurry us up so she could get back in.
Well, just something she wanted to do something.
You know, she wanted to keep us, you know, close to her side because she didn't want to be the stirre.
She wanted to lose, right?
Making no noise and I was when the phone rang.
And it was one of our neighbors, she was,
all hysterical and kind of frantic on the phone or whatever.
And she got to tell her mom that she was out,
putting her clothes on the line.
People do, you know, put, sin, she lived in the trailer.
Like I said, we didn't have running water in our house.
And she said she went out.
She had her clothes line set up on the side of her trailer.
And she had her baby out.
And the baby was probably like two or three.
said the baby was beside her and was walking down down the driveway with it
and she got all panicky and she didn't know what to do the old garden home
said she gave chase her the thing and the creatures ran back in the house and she said that the
creature knew that my mom had us you know I was little my nephew was a little and like
she was you know fear and fire and fire safety and so we're looking at my mom
looking like you know because she's all she's starting to get nervous
nervous and looking out the window and jumping up and down and don't know what to do.
And all of a sudden, you know, what the lady said that she had called the sheriff,
the sheriff was actually outside looking around her property.
She had the creature moved on or whatever.
It probably was a bearer.
You brought up a child and walk down the road.
Whatever.
That's what happens a lot right here when people have big footside.
But the wonders, locking doors.
And, you know, that was something new to me.
My nephew, because we saw her hysterical locking doors, so we never locked our doors.
We never locked our windows.
It wasn't no need to lock our windows because, you know, it was real rural in the country.
Nobody wanted to come around.
If somebody was coming out of house, we knew about it.
We could hear them coming up there about five minutes before they got to the house,
because the driveway was probably about that.
We could hear anybody coming to our, you know, locking windows and closed the doors.
We didn't know why, you know, we just heard of say something about a mob,
action rifle and a shotgun, and we know she had them because they were behind the doors.
That's where she kept them, but they weren't never loaded.
And she went up under the bed, started getting shields and bullets and blowing up everything
and closing up windows, and she had us, you know, by our side.
She was real panicking for a while, you know, just looking out of windows.
And she got to thinking, you know, just that was out of his school.
And she got to thinking about, you know, my son's...
this has got to walk down their long driveway by their cell.
So she told us, just to stand.
She got the old bolt action rifle and walked down to the end of the road and walk them back, you know, down to the house.
And she was wondering, you know, what's going on going on.
But, you know, by that time, you know, a lot of people around the little town had heard about it, you know,
because, you know, a lot of people thought the woman was crazy just making stuff up.
But, you know, they always say when something is, you know,
They have a site like they always say something is out.
So, you know, folks will call her my mother's out, telling her that something was out.
You know, I looked at my mom.
I was like, you doing all this for a monster.
Like I said, I thought monsters would make believe.
And, you know, she had to know something beforehand.
My mother had to know something beforehand because it's not every day.
Somebody about to call your house and say a monster picked up their kid.
You're probably like, okay, you've been drinking too much moon.
I just lay down for a while.
Yeah.
But your mom believed her.
Yeah, I mean, your mom's reaction of grabbing guns and telling everyone to stay in the home,
never mess with the mother and her children.
Sasquatch might be a monster, but you mess with the mother and her children,
and you're in for a real beating.
So obviously your mom believed it.
Your mom believed, though.
Like, she had already pre-plan this or something.
We never had any kind of inkling that, you know, something like that was around.
But, you know, I guess she had heard of it before or something like that.
And so she got my sisters in the house and people were calling the house back.
He heard about it.
He heard about it.
It was in our area.
And he knew that we had that old barn that was, you know, off a couple of yards from the house.
You know, we never went in.
It was like kind of.
Then we had a smoke house.
It really didn't have a door on it or either.
you know, came over. He came over probably around about. And my other sister, she got out work from Memphis.
And her fiance, he came over. He came over with a gun. And my uncle that lived in Memphis, he actually made the 25-mile drive from Memphis to our house. And he had guns.
And so, you know, the time we see somebody with a gun, they're about to go rabbit hunting or something like that.
So, like, what's going on? Everybody's calling. Everybody's, you know, they're going.
Preach or whatever, like by that time, it's probably around about 7 o'clock.
You know, every night around about 7 o'clock, my mother would have me and my nephew at the bed, you know.
Not kids' time after seven.
We got better down.
Probably about an hour and a half, two hours later.
We wake up the gunshots.
I mean, it's just lit up.
I mean, we woke up crying because, you know, it scared the hell out of us.
It was right by the wonder.
We could just see the, you know, the light flashing from the guns or whatever.
The flashback from the guns or whatever.
And they said that they heard the chickens going off.
The Oka went outside, and he said he saw a black panthers.
He said it was really a little like.
And he saw it.
He went back inside, got the gun, and it was still.
And he started shooting.
By that time, my brother-law came out, and my grandfather came out,
and they just lit the place they hid them up.
But they said they scared the hell out of it.
They said, they ain't something wrong like that.
And so my uncle said he thought it probably was a black panther.
You know, he said probably all the fuss was about a black panther.
It probably was a black panther.
They got hold of the woman's baby or whatever.
And so they stayed tonight.
And after that, you know, it kind of died down from.
Like two days of their weekend and the next week.
And then Louis Cowell is that we would wake up.
And our house sat on the center blocks, three feet off the ground.
and when those cows got out of that pass
they headed straight to those center blocks
and they woke us up because they were sitting a block
and they would wake you up
and your cows, we got 60 cows in our front yard
and my mom looking like she don't know
how to hear those cows, you know, got in the yard
and so she called the landlord
he was like, what y'all got going on over here?
Y'all letting my cows out, you know,
he thought that, you know, me and my nephew
maybe went back there
and let the latch out on it.
And the next week, it happened again.
We wake up, the cows are out.
And so, you know, the stuff about the monster program.
Now, we're kids.
We're playing like we got 12 guns.
You know, we constantly just playing like we shot the monster or whatever.
And, like, say, the next week, the cows came out again.
And that time, the landlord, he was kind of pissed.
He came back.
He, you know, he fixed to put the latch back.
on it, but he also got big link chan, real heavy dutal.
You know, he came back and put him back in or whatever.
And that Saturday, my other sister from Memphis and her husband came down.
And they had my other nephew, will.
You know, we was kind of happy to see them because, you know, it was, you know,
long periods of time before we saw one another.
You know, when we came down, my mother would always cook, you know,
and we would have a good time.
And actually, they started up a front yard.
But me and my nephew, we never wanted to play baseball or not.
Like, we don't like to look at it.
We didn't want to play baseball.
So we're just running around or whatever.
We still, you know, still all excited about the mosque.
And so we walked around the back part of the property.
And my nephew, he would always love to go jump that aluminum gate
that was adjacent to the pastor that, you know, let the cows in and out.
And he would run and jump up on the...
And, you know, look at the cows.
So we were back to this time.
And while he was on, the gate opened up.
It was already open.
I'm like, wow.
And when the gate pushed in, he had to push the gate in.
When it went in, he just froze and jumped off the gate and just stood to steal for him.
And I was like, what's wrong on him?
And next thing, you know, he just shot past me like a bow of lightning and said,
monster. And I was like, he's playing again. And I was thinking like, I got to go close this
gate up before these cows get out. My mom going to tan our house. She thinks, you know, we're the ones
that's letting these cows. And so I go to get the gate. I walk in the pack about 67 feet to pull the gate back in.
Put on the gate and looked off to the side, I see the monster. He's standing up there,
a oak tree and a weeping willow. To this day, I between the weepin willow and this other
I guess it had to be standing up there with both hands on the branch.
It almost looked like he was pulling himself up and down on the branch.
Down the seat through the weeping willow.
He was almost as tall as the weeping will.
I had to give him probably about six and a half to seven feet.
The weepin willow, it was like a new tree.
It wasn't a full-blown, you know, weeping willow.
And he had his hand branching, he was pulling itself up.
I'm trying to see, you know, through the trees.
Frozen me for a minute is like all my insides just like my intestines just drops.
This thing, this can't be real.
I'm like, this is what it is?
I'm like, the closest thing I'm saying that is the bottom of snowman on Rudolph
the red nose reindeer.
And I'm thinking about Santa Claus is fake man is real.
I just snapped out of it and ran off.
The creature never did see me.
He didn't even look my way.
I guess he was too busy trying to find out what everybody was doing in the front yard.
You know, everybody was playing baseball.
I guess that kind of had him curious or whatever what was going on.
I ran off.
I want to tell my mom, the monsters, the monsters, the monsters, and the pastures.
He's in the back past the gate is open.
And my mom, you know, it had calmed down.
She really didn't believe us, you know, like, y'all better be.
My brother-in-law, they went back there, and they saw it was open.
She knew some was up, but she didn't know.
You know, if we opened it or the, it really was a monster back there.
And so, you know, that was my experience when I saw it.
But like I said, it was about shit.
It was jet black.
It was kind of slender.
It wasn't like how you see in the paddy films with a real bucket.
This was kind of slender like, like I hear everybody said like he was,
but he was just a little bit more, you know, muscular.
Like I said, I didn't get a real good look at the face.
because I was looking at him from a side, Judy, he kind of had, like, his hair on his face was kind of, I know, you know, what a child looks like, how they look a little bit from the side.
Yeah.
And that's what it kind of looked like, but I could tell that, you know, the little features that I did see in his face, I could see that he didn't have like a muzzle or whatever, but his mouth kind of protruded out a little bit.
And, you know, he kind of died down after that, but, you know, that sounds like that.
Like I said, my brother-in-law's sister was in town.
They had my...
And he spent the...
You know, he woke up the next morning.
He went...
The first thing he did when he woke up.
He went and got the phone,
he called back to Memphis.
And told his dad to come get him.
Please, he was nervous crying.
He said, last night I woke up.
I heard the noise and looked up at the...
He was sleeping in and was on the wall,
and it was facing the window.
He said, I didn't know y'all had monkeys down here.
I said, what you mean?
He said, all night, a monkey was just staring at me.
I said, why you ain't
anything? He said he was too scary.
He just pulled the covers over there and went to sleep.
And, you know, to this day,
he would tell you that it was a big market
looking at him through the once.
Probably like, I had to be, at least, like I said,
was sitting on Sunday blocks, you know.
And that night we moved away.
You know, we're clearing out our house,
you know, in the country, you know,
people got trashed.
There ain't nobody come around and put carousand on it
and lit it.
And we got in the car, got to the road.
And one of my sister said, you see the light.
And we think he talked about the light from the fire from the yard.
And like, yeah, we see the fire.
He said, no, the lights over there.
It was a UFO.
I mean, just kind of conical looking.
It didn't look like, you know, a sauce or whatever.
And they hit their gas.
And that was my leg.
We woke up.
And, you know, we got up in Memphis had breakfast or whatever thing.
Always listened to the radio or whatever.
Listen to an American band stand.
There was a broadcast came over the radio and said that that night they had multiple UFO sites
through the whole country.
From what I know now, they said 79, from 78 to 786.
It had anything to do with UFOs or UFOs had a thing to do with bits.
Yeah, it is.
It's interesting.
I mean, it's very interesting.
I love, and I hope you don't take this a wrong way, Demetrius, I don't mean to offend you.
I love country folk, though.
If I'm ever in trouble, if I have my choice between five cops or five guys out in the country with guns,
I'll take my chances with the five guys with guns out in the country.
Me too.
Them good old boys are playing, now.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What did your mom say when you guys came back?
Did you guys tell her?
We saw the monster.
I mean, did you explain to her what you saw, and what was her reaction?
They went back to the pasture, you know, put the chain back over it.
But, like, we were playing shooting guns the whole time.
So she just thought it was out of the matter.
They just write the little kids off for some reason.
And, you know, because he had never heard anything.
Like, fancy, pretty much, that was it.
Like I said, we just stared out of the stroke.
And if my mother was a real strong woman, you know, she raised us.
And, you know, she had a, you can't get good care in Mississippi, you know.
We moved to Memphis.
So she could get out of whatever.
One thing I find fascinating, and you'll find this, like, in Kentucky and some other states,
they will name the creature based on an area.
Like they'll call it, let's say there's Lake A.
They'll call it Lake A Monster or the Cornfield Man or the...
Grass Man.
Yeah, Grass Man.
Yeah, Grass Man.
And they don't really call it Bigfoot or...
Booger Man.
That's another one.
Yeah, you're right.
And they don't call it Sasquatchewan.
Bigfoot down there.
But they're definitely down there.
And, you know, I think that the story of the neighbor calling your mother, of it grabbing
that child, it makes me wonder what it was going to do with that child.
I'm going to eat it?
Or what was it doing with that?
Man, you know what I mean?
Yeah, my reason, he just starts out there.
I want to see one.
Not close, nothing you really want to see.
Unless, you know, you're not used to that.
Well, even to the fact, you know, people say.
they'd be out of the woods all the time.
And it's just something that takes you by, you know, takes you by storm.
You're not really prepared for it.
No, you're not.
You've seen it multiple times.
Yeah, and I mean, you brought up a great point, too.
Like, Santa Claus isn't real, but the, the abominable snow.
I was chuckling when he said that because it's like, yeah, you're right.
I mean, realistically, you're right.
When you saw it, was there, did it appear to be more manlike?
Did it appear to be more, I realize you're at a glance and you're probably thinking I'm going to run before you actually get a chance to study the thing.
I completely get it.
But would you say it was more manlike?
Would you say it was more of a great ape that you saw?
I mean, that's all I could say was the body type.
But, you know, I never seen.
At that time, I never seen that seven feet.
I said, man, I saw a straight beast.
Yeah, I hear you.
Yeah, and the other thing, too, your uncle said when he went out there, how it reminded him of a panther on its belly, that's kind of how they move when they're on all fours, man.
It's more, Demetrius, I would say it's more like a cat.
They move more like a cat when they're on all fours, and they do what you would think of, like, a great ape or a monkey, or they move more like a feline when they're on all fours.
Yeah, he said that the next morning when we went out, you know, it was.
I know a path probably go straight for it.
Yeah, you're right.
That's kind of what, you know.
Yeah, tell us about that.
And for the audience listening, I mean, Demetrius is a truck driver,
and we were joking around before we came on the air.
I was telling you, you were like, I know you're going to ask me,
and I'm glad that you brought it up, because I've talked to a lot of truck drivers
and have seen some weird, weird things, man.
But go ahead.
Tell us about your second car.
Was this when you were driving?
Yeah, see, we had.
haven't had real, they've been kind of mobbed for the trees. For some reason, that's kind of
off of the trees. Like, they just came. We had a cold front of something that just
knocked out all of the leaves and cut down some of the brush or whatever, but a lot of stuff
is just dead. I can actually see off in the woods probably a good third of the 40 yards
and they were just to see that bar deep off. You know, just enjoying the landscape for a minute.
It was probably around about 8.30 in the morning.
Like I said, I was coming around a bend, Holmes County, and I glanced off into the brush.
And I'm looking at the brush, and all of a sudden, the brush keep going up.
And I see this.
He was kind of the same color as the brush.
I can't really describe the color he was because right now the brush is kind of brown.
It's brown, but if the light here, it'll look kind of.
He was the same exact color as the brush.
Nine feet tall.
I mean, this is an awesome.
he's muscular.
I mean, this was a dick,
and shook me for him,
and I'm like, and he was just standing there wasn't that much in the way,
just through branches and, you know,
sticks with no leaves on them or whatever,
you know, trees were no leaves.
And he was standing back off, a good 20 yards back off
on the brush, and he's just standing there froze.
I'm like, I can't be saying this.
And my truck, you know, got up on him,
and I was looking, when I looked off into the woods,
I was looking at him eye to eye
He never looked at me
I was looking at him out of eye
I'm looking like
Why is this thing just kind of went up
And I realized I had ran over the
Back end of a deer that was
You know laying on the shoulder of the road
And I guess he was standing there just
Trying to figure out
Was he going to come out and get that deer
And
I slowed down
I hit my brakes a little bit
I was like wow
And you know
Cars put some people behind
Like I said I
some people about, you know, they think I'm crazy, I'm crazy, but I hadn't even, you know,
like I see, everybody that I told, they think that I'm crazy from the early experience.
So I'm telling them about about this, but this thing was far about eight to nine feet,
thick as hell.
Were you able to get a look at the face?
Yeah, I saw, I had a real good look at the face.
It was great.
Like I said, the face here, like a real,
squirrel head. I noticed
that the most. He had like a...
I don't know if you have saw those TVs
a couple years ago. They started coming out
with those little tube TVs, like throwback
tube TVs, probably like...
Four colors like, you know, his head
kind of looked like those 14-inch
square TVs that
he conned off at the back.
But he had
like a tougher hair on the top of his head
that made it look like he was
kind of... I mean, he was a mean
looking... I hate to say this, but he kind of
If anybody ever noticed,
know the Lawrence Taylor from the Giants back in the day.
Yeah, of course.
He looked just like,
many of the Lawrence Taylor.
That's who he looked like.
Oh, just, man, just, he was frowned up,
but he wasn't really just like it was,
his frown was just natural or whatever.
And his nose was, his nose was,
it was flat in how his nose looked.
It was kind of like some people,
when they draw like a tiger,
they exaggerate the nose.
on a tiger, you know, when they draw it out, but it was kind of wide like this and on the ends
of, just like he looked like Lawrence Taylor, just, but his arms, man, was just, massive.
I didn't even see his hands. His hands were down beside his side off into the brush.
I mean, just, his hands had to be around his knees.
And, man, I just, I, yeah, I don't blame you. That's interesting. He was looking at the deer
as you were going by, and that you ran it over. I have to chuck a little bit at that.
Yeah, I want to ask you real quick, going back to that first UFO you had saw.
And it's interesting that you were, was it your aunt that saw it first?
I called you guys?
She probably about two miles down the road.
One thing that she said, I think, is fascinating, is she said, I think a plane's on fire
or something is on fire flying through the sky.
And I've heard that many times.
When you guys went out there and looked at it, do you remember what it looked like?
You know, I was just waking.
I saw it was light.
you know, you know, orange thing.
She knew what it was.
She just wanted to get some kind of confirmation
until it knew what it was.
But my mother knew what.
She knew it wasn't a plane.
I heard, you know, her to say, UFO.
I didn't know what a U.S. 6 years old.
It wasn't until I was.
And so, you know, I didn't know.
I just thought all this was some Hollywood stuff, you know.
Just to get people looking at TV or whatever.
I love accounts like this,
because these are accounts, Demetris, that's why I really appreciate coming on.
These are accounts you never get to hear.
A lot of times, going back to my comment about country folks, is unless you know them, unless you are on good terms with them, most of the time they're not going to tell you anything.
You know, because most people laugh at them or say how much are you guys drinking, you know, on and on and on.
You know, a lot of people are, I say you saw a monster that only doubles it.
Yeah, no, I hear you. But, you know, and those are some of the best witnesses. Believe it or not, those are my favorite witnesses to talk to. Is the guys living up in the hills or, you know, people who are in rural areas. Those are my favorite witnesses. You know, I always say children are my favorite witnesses because a lot of times kids will tell you all sorts. I mean, I've heard all sorts of details from kids. It would blow your mind. But a lot of times, my second favorite is obviously people out in the country.
Because they see things.
They experience it.
They're out there living with them, you know.
And that first encounter, man, I'm telling you, where that thing grabbed that woman's child.
I mean, that's terrifying.
That really is terrifying.
You know, what the hell was that thing thinking, you know?
You know, people down, you know, people wanted nothing new for people to have like holes and garden holes around the house all the time.
You know, me and my nephew used to be out and we were hearing noises.
Actually, on the beginning of your show, on your old, you know, your old, but it's the greatest
wolf and we heard that.
And that's what my mother would tell me it was.
Was way back off in that pasture where those cows was, you know, house back there, an old cabin back
that.
He lived back there.
He didn't have a car.
And he wrote an old.
You know, my mother would say, it's just his horse sounding off.
He got a donkey back there or something that sounding off like that.
And it would be other noises she would say.
be a bob. We hear stuff like something that's crying and she said it probably was a bob
and I was in the city of Memphis. You know, me and my sister things were. It was something,
you know, it was just cool all the cower. That's what I tell my mama. It was a cower or whatever.
My own periods of time, you know, we were here things like that, but you know, she would always say it was
something else. But as loud as it was and the long as it went on, I don't think it was, you know,
back off the bog where they could go on hide or whatever.
River bottom.
And Louisiana and Texas,
more sightings because of
all these wild hogs.
I don't know what it is about that, you know, the highway
or whatever, but, you know, like I said, I saw
that Bigfoot not too close,
not too far from the highway.
And like I said, the animal population
is just exploding. I think we're going to
see lots and lots more
of these creatures. People are going to start
to have more and more encounters because
Like I said, when I grew up, I never saw a deer in our property.
I never saw a coyote.
I never saw Amidillo.
But now I see tons of deer, tons of cowboys, tons of amadillos.
And I'm like, these things got to be eating these other creatures or whatever.
I don't know what's causing this, you know, big animals.
You know, it's just like people.
We do good.
We start having kids.
Triv are the same thing with the creatures.
They're doing pretty good right now.
So, you know, I don't know.
Yeah, no doubt.
Yeah, no doubt.
And it's the one thing I find, I can just picture your mom in my head grabbing the gun.
I mean, that's one tough lay.
That's one lady you finish your sentence with you with yes ma'am when you're done talking to her.
Yeah, I mean, I was like, we knew she had guns.
Did you ever get a chance to talk to her later in life, obviously, when you're an adult and say, hey, listen, mom.
That time we were out there, I actually, we actually.
did see it. I know we played around and said we're shooting the monster, but we actually did see it.
Like I said, she was, she ain't got sick.
In times west, she didn't even know who I was, you know.
And I was probably seven or eight, eight.
Yeah, I understand.
One time, you know, we was living in Memphis. She got a little better, you know,
and she wanted to go back. She was going back to Mississippi.
When she grabbed me and told me we were going back, me and her just me, I threw up.
And when she knocked the hell, you know, it went too long to stay down.
Well, I'm sorry to hear that. I really am sorry to hear that.
Let me ask you, Demetrius, what do you think that these things are?
You know, as far as what you saw, and I'm sure you've looked into this.
But what is your honest opinion? What do you think that these things are?
You know, people, you know, I hear the test us.
What do you mean when he say that? What do you mean when he say test?
I think it's a test. I think, you know, God wants to face out.
I know you know, I don't know if you noticed this or not, but a lot of people that come on your show, they have more than one.
If they move away from area, I know you have, I have multiple sighting.
And you're like, is this thing following me?
What can attribute it to is he wants you to face your fears.
I mean, I hear all this stuff about all these, all the cryptos and stuff going with, and I'm hearing, you know, people encounter this creature.
They leave it.
And the next thing, you know, is that the...
I mean, what can you attribute that to other than something that God is trying to test you, you know, see how you're going to handle the situation?
Are you going to seek them out or, you know, you're going to go off on your own or whatever?
But I think it's really a test.
Do you think it's flesh and blood?
And do you think it's of God?
But God give us the power.
God give us dominion over things.
That's what the...
It's just a...
You look at this.
They say you can't find.
it's hard to sin
he's hard to kill
he's hard to track
and where you do find him
and you tell something out about him
I mean just imagine that it was
who will believe you
nobody
so he's almost
you know
the perfect enemy almost
because he's concealed
then you're hearing
all this stuff about
I don't you know
I know comedians have the ability
to do that
and a certain fish octopus have
ability to do that
I don't think so.
You know, people saying this thing, you know, right in front of that can creature on his property, and he shot and killed it.
Yeah, Baphimette.
Yeah, I remember that.
Baffirmeet, yeah.
And, you know, a test.
In a way, he's staying on, but, you know, I don't know the lens, you know, a person can take, you know, just dealing with it all day.
But I really think it's a test in some kind of way.
Well, you might be onto something, Demetrius.
I mean, you can't scoff at everyone's answer.
I mean, you know, you could be 100% right.
I've had an atheist, I've talked to off the air, that have been surrounded by these
sayings and fall down, start praying.
And just weird things.
And they leave.
The creatures leave.
Well, why do the creatures leave?
That seems very bizarre to me.
And, you know, if you hear it one time, you can brush it off and go, well, you know,
whatever. But when you hear it multiple times over, especially from an atheist. Atheist don't
pray to anyone. You know, and the other thing too, I mean, and I look at historical writings. I'm not
really religious, but I look at a lot of historical writings. And John writes about that in
Revelations. He said a third of the beast would come out, or no, the beast would come out and kill
a third of mankind. That's always bothered me, because what is he talking about? He doesn't say bears.
doesn't say cougars. He uses the, well, it's in Greek in Revelations, but he uses the term for beasts.
It's a bizarre wording he uses. And so, you know, I guess it's part of your searching for answers on things, you know, and what can I line this up with? You know, I used to think the Sasquatch or the Nephilim.
Until you really start researching the nephalum, Sasquatch doesn't line up at all with the nephalum.
Nah.
No.
No, those are things of them.
Right.
And they weren't beasts.
This is the thing, is they weren't beasts when you really start researching it.
That's fascinating that you said it's a test.
I like that answer.
You know, and the Bible, the Bible is wise.
So I think it has to be a test.
The Bible is telling you to be, not to be like the beast in the field,
but be as wise as the beast in the field.
So, I mean, what beast in the field has wisdom,
size of, you know, maybe, you know, people say ours have wisdom or whatever, but, you know, that's just a saying, but, you know, what other beats has?
Right.
And it's why. You know, native, native ending to say that if he got hit by Infrasound, he said to hit him and he started taking, and I was like, you know, why would you start taking off all your clothes through degrees outside and you're taking off all your clothes?
Yeah, Infrasound can do that. It can definitely do that. It can make you feel hot. It can make you feel cold.
You can kill a person with Emphersound.
You can actually kill a person with them.
You can cause emotions.
You can cause fear.
You can cause all sorts of weird things with emper sounds.
And when you really start looking into it, it's kind of fascinating, really, that it affects us that way.
But no, I didn't mean to cut you off, Demetrius.
I apologize.
I think it hit me away.
Yeah, I think that's more a shock when you agree.
Shock of seeing something that shows.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But, you know, please.
beyond. You love everything
in that. No, my...
Not Nashville, but Knoxville.
I told him, man, please keep out.
I just told him, be careful.
You're right. The forest and, you know,
the wildlife doesn't suffer fools.
And Sasquatch aside, honestly,
I mean, there's a lot of other things
that can get you out there, too, as well.
You know, it's...
It's a terrifying subject, and it's terrifying
that these things are real and they're out there running
around. You know, I know, I always tell
people, you know, it's all fun of games until you're
run into one. And then when you run into one, you sure have a different mindset on what's out there and what's not out there.
You have a reality shift. Yep. You sure do. You sure do. I couldn't agree more. But I really appreciate
coming on, Demetrius, and sharing your encounter. I really enjoyed talking with you.
Hey, did you want to hear, Mom? Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. Yeah, tell us your strangest truck driving story.
It was about, I'm proud about it. And I get down there, I, why nobody ain't moving. I mean, everybody just,
froze. You know, people were blowing their horns. I'm like, what's going on? And, you know, it was a light, I call it a light mist like a light fog on the ground. It wasn't fog in the area. It was just fog before you, you know, when it gets real cold. Oh, yeah, yeah.
It was freezing. You know, it wasn't fog in the air. It was just fog, a light fog. And all of a sudden, the fog really comes in from the medium. It rose in, and people are blowing their horns and stuff.
And it's a
apparition that comes out of the fall.
It's not a fool about that,
not a full body, not a full body apparition,
but half a body, you know,
from the waist down.
Blue jeans and tennis shoes,
white tennis shoes,
never will forget it, man.
You know, like I said,
Bigfoot is one thing,
it's physical, but this,
this was all spirit, man.
I can deal with Bigfoot because he's physical,
but it kind of shook me, man.
Everybody was just froze, man.
They had,
to be at least about 40 to 50 cars at a standstill.
You know, my light chain got in the middle of the highway and was just walking.
I had, like I said, I had to wipe my eyes.
I couldn't leave what I was seeing.
It walked over to another truck.
You know, one of those old trucks, it really can get down, you know,
if it wanted to, it can push 80 miles as they wanted to.
And this half of body walked over to that truck,
and that truck driver saw this thing.
Everybody was watching it.
he walked over to the truck and went on their passenger side.
And when they went to the passenger side of that truck, that truck driver, I don't know of anybody.
He let up off of it and let up off the gas.
He rolled out into the middle of the road a little bit.
And, man, it kind of, I don't know if he's scared the hell out of them or what, man.
But he let up off the gas in the club so fast.
And all of a sudden, you know, he took on off and everything went back to normal.
I had to pull over for a while, just put some water on.
I had some water, I was about to drink some water,
and I just pulled it all over my face, man.
I was like, I can't believe it is.
Truck driving.
Yeah.
No, I appreciate sharing it.
And I'll tell you this, that's the most common thing I've hear from truck drivers,
to be honest with you.
I've heard all kinds of weird, weird, weird things from truck drivers.
I would say the number one most common thing I've ever heard from truck drivers,
and you hear it over and over again
is the apparition where it's only half body.
Either it's a top...
Normally I hear the top half,
but I have heard the bottom half too
of where it'll walk out into the road.
And a lot of truck drivers will slam on the brakes
because you know you don't want to hit someone.
And then you're in shock when you look at it.
That's bizarre, man.
That's bizarre.
And then it was just gone.
That's crazy.
Like nothing happened.
But I ain't going to be looking for that no more either.
I don't blame you.
I wouldn't be either, man.
And we'll be safe, be safe while you're driving.
Be safe for your driving.
And I know you will be, but, you know.
Yeah.
And I appreciate you sharing your encounters, Demetrius.
Oh, no problem.
Again, I really enjoy talking to you.
Go ahead, brother.
Let me tell you this, YouTube.
Google, yes, you know.
But, man, I just love the show, man.
All your shows, man.
I don't tell you that or whatever.
You just keep doing what you doing.
God put you here for a purpose, man.
And I love you just keep doing what you do, man.
Hey, I love what you do.
Love you, brother.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Demetrius.
Really appreciate it.
And thank you for coming on and sharing your encounter.
And that's it for tonight, everyone.
