Starting point is 00:00:00 Some things online feel wrong the second you see them. Not because they're graphic, but because they don't make sense. A woman live-sharing herself 24-7 for over 15 years to a Reddit account posting memes until it suddenly looks like its scheduling contract killings. Twisted corners of the internet where fiction, delusion, and reality all collide. So, welcome to some disturbing internet mysteries. If you're drawn to the unexplained, disturbing, and the downright eerie, make sure to like and subscribe. It helps more they need to know. Let's begin.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Chip Chan, the eternal live stream prisoner. Back in 2008, some guy on 4chan was scrolling through unsecured webcam threads, basically random security cameras people forgot to lock, and he clicked on one that seemed pretty normal, a woman in a messy apartment, just lying there. At first glance, it didn't seem like anything weird, until you noticed she wasn't moving. at all. He sat there watching, waiting for her to move, maybe stretch or scratch your head or something, nothing. She just stayed like that, so he got bored and clicked away. About 12 hours later, curiosity got the best of him. He went back to check the same feed, and she was still there. Same spot, same weird pose, like she hadn't even twitched in half a day. That's when it hit him.
Starting point is 00:01:24 He might be staring at a dead body. So he did what any four-cham. user would do. He posted it. I think this woman might be dead. Other users jumped on the feed too, watching with him. People were already arguing about calling the police when, out of nowhere, she moved. Everyone let out a sigh of relief. Maybe she'd accidentally left her webcam running. End of story. Except, it wasn't. She never stopped streaming. The woman, viewers started calling her Chip Chan, just kept going. 24-7, across different sites. She also made videos. of random walk-arounds, stalking people, and then naming the videos as, Troublemaker Pig, pull out my molars after making me unconscious.
Starting point is 00:02:07 Hashtag mind-control weapon. But then people started noticing things that didn't make sense. Jane would sleep for insanely long stretches, sometimes over 20 hours without moving an inch. And it wasn't normal sleeping either. She'd be twisted into these stiff, uncomfortable poses that would make most people toss and turn. Her apartment was always a mess.
Starting point is 00:02:28 She called it her rubbish-strewn room, and it definitely lived up to the name. She said she was documenting abuse from someone she only called P, and she wanted the entire world to see it. To international viewers, though, it just looked like an extremely isolated, eccentric lifestyle. Jane even ran WordPress blogs where she wrote about her interactions with the police. Apparently, she really didn't get along with the South Korean law enforcement. Some of her posts from 2011 even showed her photographing, cops in her area, like she was tracking them. When Jane did run into the police, they mostly just ignored her. But whenever she got really distressed, they pull out their phones and start
Starting point is 00:03:07 recording her too. And this was back when everyone still had flip phones, so you know how long ago we're talking. It looked like the cops were just covering themselves, keeping evidence of her behavior in case things escalated, like some sort of makeshift body cam. But then Korean speakers finally translated those signs plastered all over her apartment. And they weren't, random diary entries or poems like everyone thought. They were detailed, almost obsessive logs, dates, places, names, basically her claiming she was under constant surveillance, being controlled by some kind of tech and subjected to systematic abuse.
Starting point is 00:03:45 She wasn't just venting online. She believed she was part of some ongoing government experiment, and this is a translation of one reverse signs. Mind manipulation intrusion, crime, cannot be detected. hacking, mouse, use, impossible. When people finally translated her signs, it all matched what she'd been saying for years. She said he was a corrupt cop who implanted some kind of chip in her ankle. She believed it let him control her thoughts, knock her unconscious whenever he wanted,
Starting point is 00:04:15 cause pain on command, even monitor her every move. Those people you'd see walking into her apartment on stream, they weren't friends. She'd hide from them, sometimes crouching behind furniture, other times shoving her camera at their like she was trying to expose them. And then there was her sleep schedule. People started timing it. She wasn't just sleeping too much. She was exactly asleep for 19 hours in 47 minutes,
Starting point is 00:04:40 then awake for four hours and 13 minutes. Perfectly precise. No normal human body does that on its own. It felt programmed. According to Jane, she'd been living like this since 1996, nearly three decades of the same routine, and nobody even knew about it until 2000. 2008 when her streams hit the internet. These streams showed everything, eating, sleeping,
Starting point is 00:05:02 just existing. That was her entire life, documented day after day, year after year. She believed she was proving her abuse, but to viewers, it felt like watching someone trapped in an endless loop. By 2020, Jane had transitioned from continuous live streaming to uploading videos on our YouTube channel called Mind Control Weapon, or Weapon Mind Control. These videos showed something that made even long-time observers deeply uncomfortable. Jane was documenting severe skin conditions covering her entire body. Burning rashes, open lesions, and wounds she attributed to the alleged mind-controlled devices. The medical symptoms were undeniably real and clearly caused her significant suffering.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Some viewers speculated she might be going through sepsis or early-stage diabetes, but Jane insisted these symptoms were artificially induced. In her own descriptions, posted alongside horrific footage of her deteriorating skin, she said, You can endure pain, but you can't endure itching. So much itching all over my body, buttocks, back, pelvis. I apply a very strong ointment, which was prescribed, but P uses mind control weapon. It became useless. Scabs removed by P, it looks fine, but it's getting worse.
Starting point is 00:06:17 P reads my thoughts about filming a video of leg scabs equals he took them off after making me unconscious. forced taking off scabs that had damaged my skin more, endless discharge secreted from my wound dried up, and hardened into scabs on my legs after implementing heat rash causing mind control weapon. It looked horrible. When I decided to take a video to upload, he took the scabs off after making me unconscious.
Starting point is 00:06:39 According to Jane's detailed posts, the mind control weapon involved people being implanted by government agencies, the FBI, CIA, Pentagon, while subjects were unconscious. The devices were placed in cartilage below the skin. in her case, the right foot. The technology Jane described was not pure science fiction. She believed the device was similar to something called the very chip, a real, commercially produced microchip designed for human implantation.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Jane also described capabilities like voice to school transmission, where messages could allegedly be sent directly to someone's head. Jane's recent videos showed her documenting what she believed was ongoing police surveillance. She had been able to leave her apartment regularly, always with cameras recording, walking through city photographing squad. cars and patrol vehicles. You can see her walking around taking photos of various squad cars, their patrol vehicles rolling around the area. Even beyond that, there were times she would stock South Korean police vehicles parked all over the city. Experts pointed out, Jane showed signs of untreated mental illness, and in South Korea, mental health still carries heavy stigma. Her blog suggested she had family support financially, even if they'd emotionally distance themselves,
Starting point is 00:07:46 a common situation there. But viewers weren't just watching. Some wanted to stay. her. One Reddit user even posted a detailed plan on how they were going to do it. The post read, Hi all, I've been following Chip for years since before I even went to college. I'm surprised that nobody had ever actually just went over there to save her. We should feel lower than dirt for not actually just tracking her down and talking some sense into her. She is a charming girl, and frankly, I would marry her to give her U.S. citizenship and become her legal guardian. The user continued, I'm willing to fly to Korea alone if someone can help with the relevant info,
Starting point is 00:08:20 address any possible tips. I personally don't speak Korean, but as Chip speaks Korean, I'm hoping to get by with some serious duolingo Korean cramming. But if other people want to join me, the more the merrier. We can save her, and I'm ready to take action. They even said, I would suggest that we make this trip in December. It would give us time to work on our Korean. And as Chip is apparently a Christian, we could possibly bring her Christmas gifts to show her
Starting point is 00:08:45 that we really are there to support her. That post was especially weird and disturbing because it wasn't the only one like it. There were multiple posts out there where people were outright fetishizing her, even though Chip Chan was clearly living in misery. And then there was the woman who often appeared in her streams. People believed she was Jane's landlady, someone who also helped care for her. Unlike P, Jane seemed to actually like this woman. She even mentioned her positively in emails and correspondence with other people,
Starting point is 00:09:15 almost as if she was one of the few people Jane trusted. But here's the thing. If Jane was suffering from untreated, paranoid delusions, it's possible she saw anyone who tried to help her, even medical professionals, as stalkers or people out to hurt her. It became a perfect storm, technology, cultural neglect, and complete systemic failure. For 15 years, thousands watched a woman
Starting point is 00:09:38 who claimed she was being controlled through advanced surveillance, suffering in plain sight. Despite international attention and countless welfare checks, nothing ever changed. Jane stayed locked in her cycle, 20 hours unconscious, a few hours awake, documenting what she believed was technological torture. Whether it was untreated paranoid schizophrenia or something far more sinister, Jane was trapped. Even now, at the time of recording August of 2025, she's still posting on her mind control weapon blog. She documents police car numbers, claims of forced unconsciousness, internet disruptions, and even physical injuries she says
Starting point is 00:10:13 are caused by P and advanced tech. She alleges Wi-Fi interference. Google login hijacks seven times a day. YouTube algorithm manipulation, detailed, organized, and relentless. Whether it's untreated mental illness or something far darker, one fact remains.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Jane's still online, still trapped in a nightmare, and thousands are still watching, with no end in sight. Lake City Quiet Pills, the Reddit assassination conspiracy. On July 17th, 2009, a ready user named 2-6 made what seemed like a simple, sad announcement on the platform.
Starting point is 00:10:51 His post was titled, The End of Religion of Peace. He died today. I'm the person who provided religion of peace the space for that old guy's image host. Milo died today. He was 79 years old. He died at his desk looking at your sight. Milo was a mean old fucker, mean and henri. He hooked me up with his first gig when I got out of the army. I didn't like finding him like that. Milo don't have any living relatives and no real friends. And other than his landlady and a few other people he worked with, he didn't talk to anyone about much of anything.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Me, he just tolerated. As I said, he was mean. I think he used that as a shield to keep people away from him. Milo thought God was some kind of con game thought up by some lazy son of a bitches who didn't want to work every day. So he's going into the fire on Monday without a service just like he wanted. I'm planning to dump his ashes in the wood in PA near where he was born. Can't put them right there because there's a mall there now.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I gave the girl next door his raggedy old cat in most of his books. His computers and tronic shit he tagged for the disabled vets in the W.A. All the rest of his stuff is for the Salvation Army. All those years and everything he owned fits in the truck of my car. I don't know what else to say. I'll miss him, miserable bastard. It looks like just another obituary post. Someone letting the Reddit community know that a long,
Starting point is 00:12:10 time user had passed away. Religion of Peace, known as ROP or Milo to his friends, had been active on the platform since December 12, 2007. He was known for his controversial commentary, political rants, and oddly enough for moderating the problematic R-slash jail bait subreddit. For two years, Religion of Peace had been an active vocal presence on Reddit. But when Redditors started digging into his posting history, they found puzzling contradictions. In some posts, he claimed to be 79 years old. In others, he said he was 70. His writing style seemed inconsistent with someone of that age, using phrases like, fuck off and die, spammer, and bitch, get the fuck out. That sounded more like someone in their 30s or 40s trying to sound edgy, and a somewhat addiction to, um, cheese pizza,
Starting point is 00:12:58 but more on that later. His military stories were elaborate and detailed. He claimed to have served from 1944 to 1987, fighting in various wars and security operations. Plus, he had very detailed explanations about how wars worked. His stories often included oddly specific details that came off as arrogant, but that was the persona he played into. Such as a post that said, If you died now, would you consider your life to be well lived? And he replied saying, yes, I would.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I'm 79 and ready to go any time. I lived a very eventful life, full of excitement in the Chinese meaning of the word. I have seen a great portion of the world, visited many countries in times of trouble, and always done what I deemed best whether I was paid or not. I fought to help people be free, stay free, stay alive, to help countries retain the government they wanted and to get rid of the ones they didn't. I regret few things that I've done, most notably shooting up a truck that was carrying contraband. The situation didn't require it, but I was hung over and it was pissing down rain.
Starting point is 00:14:01 I've played some vicious jokes on several people, and I shouldn't have as they weren't really deserving of it. I've worked hard to avoid hurting anyone's feelings and never treated anyone any worse than I was willing to be treated in a similar situation. I managed to never shoot anyone I wasn't allowed to, never shot up a civilian, even when it would have been easier to take them out too. I used to wonder what it would be like to come back to the States and live in a pretty suburb someplace and commute to a job and do something. But there was always one more fight that needed fighting, some other thing I considered an injustice. From 1944 until 1987, I probably had no more than two years. total outside of some fucking war or another or some security operation. I never made much money. Seldom had more than enough to spend a week or to recovering from one thing or another.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Medical bills are a bitch when you're paying your own way. Never run away to join the Navy or the circus. Trust me, kids, that's not the way to go. But the timeline didn't add up. If he enlisted in 1944 at age of the 14, he would have been born in 1930, making him 79 in 2009. But in other posts, He claimed different birth years that would make him anywhere from 70 to 79. Now, on to the part that is the most disturbing of all. Religion of Peace had been constantly promoting his image hosting site across Reddit. At first glance, it seemed like just another amateur image hosting service, just an ordinary website where people can upload pictures.
Starting point is 00:15:26 So now, at this point, I think we can agree on the fact that there was something really fishy going on with this user. There were inconsistencies in their age, plus the middle. military background and their intensities of language just couldn't justify the age. The elaborate persona of Milo, the bitter 79-year-old veteran, was a complete fabrication. But the real mystery began when investigators discovered the user 26, who had announced Milo's death, had connections that went far beyond Reddit. On FARC, researchers found a user named Angel 26 who had been active since 2001.
Starting point is 00:16:00 His profile contained a bio that made investigators' blood run cold, dispensing Lake City Quiet Pills to lousy bastards in need of permanent rest since 1968. Angel 26 had been posting disturbing content for years. He offered advice about interrogation techniques from past experience, placing the target's head in a sack with hungry rats works nicely. The connection was clear. 2-6 and Angel 26 were the same person. When technical investigators examined the Lake City Quiet Pills website more carefully, they
Starting point is 00:16:30 discovered it was far more than an image hosting service, hidden in the site's HTML code were encrypted messages that appeared to be job postings. These weren't for normal employment. They contained references to Shade, Angel, and specific geographical regions. They discussed packages that needed to be delivered, specialists with particular skills who could be contracted for difficult projects. One message stood out more than the rest. Happy New Year, everyone. We're having a birthday party for the old man on the 19th. Party starts at 1,500 at the usual time. Send your RSVP to Shade FYI. We're booking a room for three days for anyone coming from out of the area, and overnight for locals. Come hoist one for Dutch Milo. We got 38 rooms in the Marriott on 46. Shade has the key
Starting point is 00:17:16 cards for the locals. Pick up at the party. Give your travel name to the desk and that's it. No ID needed since we're covering the bill. Keep the room service under 500. Okay? The phones there are not secure. Bus from the hotel leaves at 1,300. Car service vouchers for a return trip when you're ready to crash. Don't DUI. Milo's will cleared probate. Surprise, Milo was loaded. Email Shade if we sent you out
Starting point is 00:17:39 2005 to 2009. Shade will have checks cut for you. Amount is by how many times. Not by pay total. Small share is 3 to 4K. It made the whole thing feel a lot more suspicious, especially when paired with the cryptic notes like Shade has
Starting point is 00:17:53 key cards for locals. All of it hidden inside what looked like in an innocent memorial post. But investigators would soon connected to something far more sinister. On January 19th, 2010, the exact date of that so-called birthday party for Dutch Milo, Hamas military commander, Mahmound al-Mab Howe, was assassinated in his Dubai hotel room. The hit was carried out with surgical precision, a team of operatives using forged passports,
Starting point is 00:18:21 high-level surveillance, and a plan executed to perfection. All-Mab Howe was paralyzed with a muscle relaxant and suffocated with a pillow. The team slipped into the country just 24 hours before and disappeared immediately after. And with that context, the death of religion of peace suddenly felt different. But investigators found something chilling. Before his death was ever announced publicly, Milo's passing had already been hidden in the HTML code of Lake City Quiet Pills on July 17th the very next day. Just 13 hours after Milo's final comment, a brand new Reddit account named 2-6 appeared. It spent less than an hour on the site before posting Milo's death announcement, but the most disturbing part, when people took their findings to authorities,
Starting point is 00:19:04 there was nothing but silence. Maybe that silence wasn't incompetence. Maybe it was intentional. And then there was one final detail. User 26 mentioned Milo had an iron key, a type of secure, encrypted drive, and that he'd bricked it the very same day he buried Milo's ashes, almost like he wanted to make sure no one ever found out what was really on it. For anyone who doesn't know, an Iron Key is like the Fort Knox of USB drives. If you mess with it the wrong way, it basically self-destructs. Bricked, gone, unreadable forever. The sites quietly went offline in 2014,
Starting point is 00:19:39 five years after Milo's death, leaving behind years of suspicious messages and real-world connections to violence. But officially, nothing happened. The network just vanished. Lake City Quiet Pills revealed how innocent-looking websites could hide dark operations, coded HTML messages, secure infrastructure, criminal coordination. Those methods didn't die when the site did.
Starting point is 00:20:05 They have only evolved ever since. The Plague Doctor Video Mystery On October 12, 2015, the tech site gadgets posted about something strange they'd received in the mail. John Eric, better known as Johnny Krabeikler, the site's owner, wrote about a mysterious package sent from Poland, specifically Warsaw, months earlier in May. Inside was a plain DVDR, marked with a weird string of capital and lowercase letters, something that looked like a product key, maybe for a game or software.
Starting point is 00:20:39 But it wasn't, because when Johnny played it, it wasn't a program. It was something far more sinister. First, you need to take a look at the video. Yeah, this is what the internet was dealing with, an insanely crypticrypt. video with no explanation whatsoever. But before that, let's dive into how it actually caught the attention of so many people. On October 13th, a Redditor by the name of Tropical Johnsons posted a link to Gadget's piece on the R-slash creepy subreddit. And this is where the video hit the mainstream. The R-slash-creepy subreddit jumped on it, tearing the thing apart,
Starting point is 00:23:19 trying to decode every frame, and from there, it snowballed. Hackaday ran a piece on October 16th, and by October 19th, even Daily Dot, Gizmato, and the Washington Post recovering it. But here's the weird part. Gadgets wasn't actually the first to upload the video. Back on May 9, 2015, months earlier, a post had popped up on 4chan's ex-paranormal board titled Secret Messages, Aliens, huh? It linked to a Dropbox file and said, this is a DVD. It's so with some crazy stuff on it.
Starting point is 00:23:51 It's a copy of a DVD I found sitting on a park bench. That same day, it also, appeared on YouTube, uploaded by a channel called A-E-T-B-X. The title was in binary and translated to birthday or death. Even the description was binary, which decoded to, you have one year less left. By October, when the clip blew up, Reddit went full detective mode. When the audio was run through spectrogram software, it revealed hidden images, including a skull and encoded text buried inside the sound itself. It was written entirely in wingdings. And yeah, At first, that sounds goofy, like something you'd see in a 90s word document, not a creepy threat,
Starting point is 00:24:31 but it's not about what font they used, it's about what it said. The message read, strike an arrow through the heart of the eagle. People really started speculating, was this a threat? Did the eagle mean the United States? And then it got even weirder. In the video, the man's glove was flashing. And when decoded, it turned out to be Morris Code, one of the sequences translated to Red Lips Life 10th, which was later decoded to an anagram for
Starting point is 00:24:57 Kill the President. There were also phrases like, you are already dead, in the video, which made it all even more disturbing. Other sequences in the video turned out to be geographic coordinates pointing straight to the White House. That discovery only fueled the idea that this was some kind of threat to the U.S. president. The location didn't help ease the fear either. People later tracked it down to an abandoned sanatorium to Otwok Poland, already the kind
Starting point is 00:25:22 a place you wouldn't want to be in, let alone filming cryptic videos and plague doctor masks. The place is a wreck and in the middle of nowhere, which makes it a perfect place to shoot such a video. Even with all the codes and creepy messages cracked, one question still hung over everything. Who was the man in the mask? Some people thought it might actually be Kroc Bikler from gadgets himself. The AETBX channel itself added to the mystery. Its name was written in 8-bit binary code that translated to one word, deaf. Even the bio was binary, which decoded to, you have one year less to live. Creepy, sure, but AATBX claims he didn't make the video at all.
Starting point is 00:26:00 He said he'd gotten it from a girl who supposedly found the DVD sitting on a park bench. So, the most likely explanation? He probably just sought on 4chan, uploaded it to YouTube, and wanted to play a classic internet scare game, basically chasing a viral moment rather than hiding some deep, dark conspiracy. Crop Bikler, on the other hand, seemed to be using it mostly just to drive traffic, but there's one big reason people don't think it was him, and it's because of Parker Warner Wright. See, the same video had already shown up on another YouTube channel before the gadget story blew up. On September 30th, 2015, it was uploaded by a channel called Parker Warner Wright, titled 11BX 1371, with a chilling description. Are you watching?
Starting point is 00:26:46 Parker was actually the third person to participate. post the video online, way before Gadgett's made it famous. Later, he told Krah Beichler in the Daily Dot that he was the creator and that the whole thing was just art, including the fact that Parker had created the mask himself, and that's why people couldn't find the exact one anywhere on the internet or in any store. He also made claims to owning the glove and programming the flashing light set with an Arduno. Wright told the Daily Dot he was just an American living in Poland, and the whole thing was an art project meant to make people collaborate and think critically. see my work as waves on the ocean, he said. Some people look for shells in it. Some surf. Others
Starting point is 00:27:23 dive. What was the real message behind the video? Did it ever even get delivered? And honestly, we might never know. And all right, guys, that wraps up some disturbing internet mysteries. Let me know what you thought about these. I thought these were really unique. I've heard about the Lake City Quiet Pills briefly, but not in this kind of in-depth explanation. I thought it was really weird. I thought all these were really weird. And if you'd like to see another internet mysteries videos in the future please comment down below and i'd love to make another one i appreciate you watching to the end it means the world and please like the video and subscribe to the channel it helps me with you know thank you so much for watching check out another video if you love this video i'm sure you'll love
Starting point is 00:28:02 other videos on this channel and um yeah thank you so much for watching this was snook and i'll see you next time bye
