And I am amazed and pleased and heartened to say that it was 100 percent positive.
I do want to do a little sports recap because there's a lot going on right now.
And and then we'll see where we are.
I got some other things I want to talk about.
Shouting and a bit of a creative drought I'm going through and yada, yada, yada.
But but we will see how much time we have.
I will say before I go any further, it is what is today?
It is October 22nd.
If you are in America, we have a huge election coming up.
I'm not preaching to you.
I'm not telling you who to vote for.
I don't give a shit who you vote for.
I just want to make sure that everybody is aware that we're about two weeks out.
Early voting has started in a lot of states.
If you do want to vote in the election, early voting is a great way to do it
because you beat the lines.
I voted yesterday.
I was in and out in about, I don't know, six or seven minutes.
It was really fast and really easy.
And that is me on my soapbox.
And I'm stepping off.
I hope you'll choose to vote if you are an American
because it is fun, honestly, it's fun.
If you've never done it because it seems lame
or boring or difficult or like paperwork,
when you do it, it's actually fun
and you feel good about yourself.
Like selfishly, it makes you feel good about yourself.
And also you're doing something for your country,
whether you believe in that idea, ultimately or not you are,
at least I believe that you are.
I mentioned two, episode or two ago,
that I have been kind of figuring out my collection.
I don't know, I think everybody went a little crazy
during the pandemic, right?
For me, my particular pandemic insanity manifested in reopening my love of collecting cards.
And I kind of went crazy for a couple of years there buying stuff on Goodwill's and estate
sales and obviously new product at stores.
But just like anything I get my hands on
and I created this dumb collection,
I don't really know what it was for.
I just felt like it was for something
and it felt like I was doing something
and it was very unfocused.
And that's where the break show came in.
I was trying to find a way to focus that energy
into something productive,
aside from just the satisfaction of collecting.
But collecting isn't satisfying
when it doesn't have a focus or a purpose.
Then it's just hoarding at that point, right?
And so we kind of struggle in with that.
The break show was something that I had
very lofty goals for,
and I would love to have been able to come close
to achieving them.
We barely scratched the surface.
I blame no one on earth for that, but myself.
I had champagne dreams of a break show.
I had like Milwaukee's best time and effort to put into it.
Like what I conceived of and what I think I could have made
was something really fun and special and interesting
and unique and celebratory.
And I think I scratched the surface,
I think we scratched the surface on that,
but it never got anywhere near to where I wanted it to be.
And that was just because to get it to where
I had envisioned it would be the full-time gig.
Like it would be all I did.
If I wanted to turn Break Show into my entire career,
I have a vision for that that would be so fucking cool
and so much fun and I think so neat,
but would also ultimately take all of my focus
and effort away from regulation or any red. would also ultimately take all of my focus
and effort away from regulation or, you know, any red and honestly regulation is the only thing
that matters in my life career wise.
And so I just, I kind of, I made what I could
and people liked it and I liked it and it was a lot of fun.
And then it kind of had to go away
when the company went away and It is now on hiatus.
I, however.
I've talked a lot about how this has been a year of upheaval
and and not just upheaval, but, you know.
New beginnings, fresh starts, and one of those was moving into a new house.
You know, we sold the house and rented a house and had it's a little smaller.
Got rid of the storage shed.
So I've, you know, got rid of a bunch of shit we didn't need.
I have now become aware in my office of how much card should I actually have.
And it's been I'm kind of buried under it.
And a lot of it I have no plans for, no idea of what to do with it.
And I've just been kind of holding on to it on the vague idea that there'll be
another break show down the road.
And, you know, we'll get an office for regulation eventually, which by the way,
just so you're aware, it is October 22nd.
There has been zero traction on that.
Like we haven't contacted a real estate agent.
We haven't looked at a listing.
We haven't discussed it more than really anything
you've heard on episode.
And so that's not gonna happen anytime soon.
I can't imagine it will happen this year.
And I don't know, I don't like being cluttered.
And so I've been just trying to figure out
what to do with the mess.
I think I said two episodes or so ago
that I had started to kind of focus in
on collecting and bindering and that's what I've done.
I've kind of looked at the totality of everything I have
and thought about what I connect with the most.
And not to go over everything I said two weeks ago,
but clearly for me that was the Celtics
and some basketball.
But I'm surprised to say and surprised to find
more than anything I'd want to collect baseball cards. And I'm surprised to say and surprised to find that more than anything
I'd want to collect baseball cards.
And I'm a much bigger fan of basketball
than I am of baseball, although I love baseball.
And I have watched every single fucking playoff game
that I could this year.
And it has been such an entertaining playoff.
So I'll talk about that in a little bit.
We have a great World Series coming up.
But for whatever reason, I connect more with baseball cards than with basketball
cards. I don't know if that's because it's my first love.
I discovered baseball before I discovered basketball.
I discovered collecting baseball cards
before I discovered collecting basketball cards, although, you know, not by much.
Or what it is, or it's just or I just like tops better than panini.
Ultimately, although I don't dislike panini the way a lot of people do.
I don't know, man, but I've just really connected with collecting baseball cards,
which is great because that's what's most readily available in the market
and what I bought the most of.
And so I'm starting at twenty twenty the year.
I think I started collecting again in twenty nineteen, technically, but I'm going to start in 2020 for now.
And I'm going through.
All of my tops baseball cards, I've decided my collection is going to be every year tops.
Every year, baseball card companies or trading card companies release a million products, right? We'll talk about tops actually. Let's do this
Let's just talk about tops baseball because they do other sports as well, right? So they have tops
they had and that's their flagship product just tops and
In that product there are like five releases believe it or not. There's top series one
It'll be the first baseball cards of the year that come out.
Well. That's not maybe entirely true, but we'll go for it as if it is top series one and then a couple of months later, halfway through the year or so,
top series two will come out.
Top series one is usually three hundred and fifty cards and then a bunch of
different inserts and parallels that you can get.
Top series two is another three hundred and fifty cards with a bunch of inserts
and parallels you can get.
Typically about another two hundred cards are inserts, you know, there'll be other little, you know,
like heavy hitters and sluggers and around the horn and superstar, all these dumb names
for it.
Mystical and there'll be like a 30 card set, a 20 card set, a 15 card set of, you know,
home field advantage cards. There'll be 50 of those or whatever.
And so there's series one, then there'll be a series two.
And then at the very end of the season, it actually just came out this last week.
I think October 18th will be tops update.
And then that'll be the last batch of cards for the year.
It'll be another 350 cards and another 200 cards and inserts or whatever.
And so that comprises the meat of the Tops Baseball
flagship product, series one, series two update in a year.
Some years, not every year, I don't think,
but some years they will spin off other side products
of that at the very beginning,
they'll have an opening day product.
It'll be very similar, it'll look exactly like Tops.
By the way, Tops Series 1, Series 2 and Update all look identical, right?
It's the design for the year. It goes across all the cards.
So if there's an opening day product, it'll typically be 300 cards instead of 350
and maybe 100 inserts instead of 200.
And it's probably retail only.
You can't get it at hobby shops.
That'll maybe come out at the very beginning of the year.
And it's kind of it's like it's like a little
it's just like a little side thing to collect.
It's not a part of the meat and potatoes, but because it looks the same,
I've decided that anytime there's an opening day year, I'll collect those.
And then at Christmas, they'll typically have tops holiday.
And then that'll look exactly like series one and two and update and opening day
for that matter. But it'll be Christmas themed and it'll have Christmas parallels.
Like they'll replace somebody's baseball bat with a candy cane or or they'll put a
wreath of Christmas lights around Mookie Betts' neck while he's batting or
something like that. And I've decided to collect all those as well because they're a lot of fun.
And they look and feel like they're part
of the main Tops series.
Outside of that, they have Tops Chrome,
they have Tops Heritage, they have Tops Finest,
they have Tops Premier, it goes on and on.
There's probably another 20 or 30 products
of different Tops cards you can buy throughout the year.
They'll all, some look the same.
Many look very different.
They're different price points.
Some are very cheap and budget like Heritage.
Some are very fucking expensive like tops finest.
But at the end of the day, if you tried to collect it all, you'd lose your fucking mind.
Right. Or at least you'd go bankrupt.
I was trying to collect all of everything, not just tops, not just tops baseball,
but football, basketball, hockey, soccer,
skateboarding, the Olympics, non-sports cards, bingo, right?
ALF, like whatever, Umbrella Academy, One Direction,
whatever the fuck I could get my hands on,
I'm trying to collect.
And mostly because I wanted to celebrate this fandom
with you guys, this whole idea of collecting,
and also show that you don't have to chase
very expensive cards to have fun in the hobby.
You can have just as much fun opening up 40 year old
packs of Gremlin's cards that are worth nothing, you know?
And I feel like we accomplished that.
That is one thing I think we definitely accomplished
in the Break Show.
Didn't get where I wanted to go with it,
or haven't gotten there yet with it, if I ever get back to it and hopefully
I will at some point.
However, in my fucking office, I'm surrounded by all these cards.
So now I have this focus.
I want these tops cards and I know some basketball cards I want.
My personal collection, everything else can hit the fucking bricks.
I'm not going to get rid of stuff that I want to use the break show, or that's earmarked for the break show,
the fun, creative stuff.
But I don't need a Tops Chrome baseball cards.
I'm not collecting that.
I don't need NFL select or mosaic.
I'm not collecting NFL at all,
let alone 30 different kinds of NFL cards.
I definitely don't need rookies and stars or contenders
or any of these products in any of these fucking sports.
I need tops, series one, series two, update,
holiday, opening day.
I need NBA, prism and optic.
And then I need Alabama football players,
rookie cards that I wanna collect. collect that's it for me personally
So I got to get rid of thousands and thousands and thousands of cards that process has begun
It is consumed my life a little bit every waking hour
I might be driving my wife crazy because it looks like I'm doing something called churning
Which is when you hoard and you organize and move and it looks like you're making progress you're de hoarding
But you're really just moving stuff from one pile to another I
swear to God I'm not doing that what I am doing is eliminating duplicates and
honing my collection down and putting everything into binders where they
belong and then when all that's done everything else that's left I can sell
on eBay I can donate to whatever if there's a place to donate, give away for fucking kids at Halloween,
like whatever I wanna do, I won't need any of it.
And so once I know what it is I don't need,
then I can figure out how to get rid of it, right?
That's what I've been doing.
I've been doing it now for probably three weeks
and I'm pretty far along, if I do say so myself.
Not done, definitely not done, I've been pretty far along, if I do say so myself.
Not done, definitely not done, but I'm getting to some sort of a semblance
of understanding what I have and what I'm dealing with.
But I've kind of become addicted to collecting sets.
Not even, well, I shouldn't say collecting sets,
because I guess that's what I'm
doing. But I guess or I guess what I should say is I've become addicted to organizing and building
sets. And I have so many duplicates and triplicates of so many cars as I'm sitting here
putting my sets of like 2023 tops update together or actually right now, I'm putting together my 2020 Tops update set.
And I have enough cards to probably make four full sets of Tops 2020 update.
Now you could buy a factory sealed set from Tops for like 40 bucks, 50 bucks probably that I have every card in mint condition sealed.
But it's so much fun to collect them and then put them in the book and find them
and organize them and
Everything but at some point I'm gonna have to start getting rid of them
If you know a place where I can donate bass and common cards
That would go to a good cause that'd be awesome. Maybe like a children's hospital or something. Just let me know
Instead of going into a dumpster. I would like to give to somebody who will use them
I had this vague idea of using them for art projects down the road, and I will like to
do that at some point, kind of like the Don Pedro project, which is an old, old, right
around the beginning of Fuckface idea that I had that I've kind of been working on slowly
in the background.
Actually taken a couple years off from, but I still have it all.
I just don't have a place to build it, but once I do, I'll be ready to build this giant mosaic out of baseball cards that I that I want to make. Anyway, I've been
holding on to a lot of the product, just the idea that I would do more of those in the
future. But I haven't done the first one yet. And it's honestly not hard to find mountains
of valueless baseball cards when you need them. So if and when I'm ready to do that
in my life, I don't think I'll have trouble finding the cards
to do it with, you know what I mean?
Like here I am right now just trying to get rid of cards.
How many of me are there out there in the world?
Lots of us, I would imagine.
So I went and visited my kiddo at college over the weekend.
Emily and I went out and it's, you know,
I took her there in August and dropped her off
and all that, but this is the first time going back to visit her now that she's settled and she's in her
own world.
And you you don't know what that's going to be like, right?
Like we have great conversations on the phone.
It's been awesome.
I feel like we actually talk to each other and have been making more of an effort to
communicate now that we're farther apart, which I've really enjoyed.
And so I've gotten this idea that she's, you know,
kind of thriving and doing well,
but it's an entirely different thing to go
and see it for yourself.
And for you other parents out there
who are a little further down the road than me,
man, what an amazing experience.
You get to have these kind of perfect moments
as a parent with your kids throughout their life.
And one that I didn't know would feel as heartwarming
as it did, just overflowing with pride,
is was going to see my kid three months into her new life
as a college student and having her show me her world,
having her show me her classes, her routine,
where she goes to get breakfast in the morning,
the bench she eats her lunch at,
where she goes to study, her favorite restaurants.
All you want as a parent is to
prepare your child for the world so that they can go off and have
adventures and
Experiences like you were fortunate enough to do you want to set them up and build a foundation for them?
So that they can stand on that foundation while they build their
own, right? While they go and create the person that they're going to be. And to finally,
after 18 years of trying to prepare her for that, to get to see it in action is like the
greatest fucking thing I've ever done in my entire life. And let me tell you, I could
not be prouder of a human being than I And let me tell you, I could not be prouder
of a human being than I am of Millie.
And I could not be more impressed and more blown away
and more heartened to see her building her world,
to see her putting it to action,
to see her creating her community,
friends that she's gonna have for the rest of her life,
connections that she's gonna have for the rest of her life, connections that
she's gonna have for the rest of her life, the things that she's already learning.
She's a different person than she was three months ago when I said goodbye to her.
She stands taller, she's more confident, she walks faster, she's got a deeper voice.
She's amazing.
She's always been amazing.
And it's just so fucking cool to see and
Every parent who's behind me and has this ahead of you
It's gonna be a great day in your life. It is an
Unbelievable thing to get to experience in real time. I have thought about it
I have daydreamed about it about her life her future who she would become how she would become that person
what her experience as a as a woman growing up would be and then to get to see her living her life and
becoming this person is just
It's the most thrilling and amazing thing and to everybody who hasn't got to do it yet, man
I'm excited for you because it is a it's a really wonderful thing to behold.
And I couldn't I couldn't be more excited for my daughter's future.
And I couldn't be prouder of her. And.
Anyway, it just felt really good to see her doing really good.
Crazy couple weeks of sports, as as you know, I mentioned the NBA preview episode
and the feedback I got, and it was 100% positive. And so when sports are a thing I'm thinking
about, I'm going to talk about them from time to time. There's so much going on in sports
right now. If you, if you aren't aware, the WNBA finals just wrapped up.
It went five games.
It was tied up two to two between the Minnesota Lynx
and the New York Liberty.
I am a New York Liberty fan.
I had been in the market for a favorite WNBA team
for a while, and last year, Jean-Claude Jones
and Sabrina Ionescu and Brianna Stewart were just so there's just
something about those three together was so much fun to watch. I decided that I was going
to be a Liberty fan and they have the coolest fucking mascot. We've talked about that over
on regulation I think and and they they wanted an overtime. So congratulations. I think it
was their fifth time in the finals. First victory finally got over the hump
lot of controversy
Around the referees in that game in the whole series really but that game specifically the
the game was decided on some
pretty hotly contested calls and
I'm very happy for the New York Liberty. I think they deserve to win. I feel really bad for the Lynx because what a shitty way to lose.
I don't think that's fair either.
Congratulations to Jean-Claude Jones who I believe won the MVP and definitely deserved
it because she was phenomenal throughout.
Honestly, Ian Eskew and Stewie had kind of rough games that last game.
I mean, Stewie pulled down, I think, 15 rebounds, which is pretty impressive,
but they weren't shooting super well.
And it really was Jones who kind of held it down.
I feel really bad, honestly, for Nafeeza Collier,
because she had a great game, a great season.
Like, Kayla McBride had a really good game, a really good series as well.
But it was pretty solid, the final game.
Anyway, Minnesota Lynx is a really cool team and I'm happy for the for the Liberty
and I'm bummed for them, kind of an equal measure.
And speaking of being happy and bummed in equal measure, I am bummed
that the Detroit Tigers were eliminated from playoff contention, but I am
happy in equal measure that the Dodgers have advanced to the World Series to play the New York Yankees who beat the Cleveland Guardians who knocked the Detroit Tigers out of contention.
I don't know how this could have gone any better in terms of storybook World Series stories.
You've got the two most exciting offensive players
in baseball.
You've got the two most storied franchises in baseball.
You've got a West Coast team, the most West Coast team
against the most East Coast team.
Dodgers, Yankees, diametrically opposite of each other.
I mean, it was kind of a no-lose situation
as long as the Yankees went to the World Series, right?
Because Dodgers-Yankees is fucking amazing,
but Mets-Yankees would have been amazing as well,
have a cross-town rivalry.
Subway Series, as they say, I believe.
But way better to have the Dodgers in it
because I'm a fan of the Dodgers.
My father-in-law has gotten me into them.
They've been a lot of fun to watch these last four or five years.
And you get to see Shohei's bat against Aaron Judge's bat.
If you don't know who these guys are, they're incredibly exciting,
explosive players who tend to rise to the occasion in moments
where they need to, which creates for really thrilling baseball.
There's a lot of really fantastic players on both teams.
The Dodgers, however, I think are probably the most talented team in baseball.
And I don't know that it's close.
I think that they've got to be the favorites against the Yankees
because of that. Also, to be honest with you, I think the Dodgers are the best
team in baseball and the second best team in baseball was the Padres
and the Dodgers already went through them.
I think a Dodgers-Padres World Series
obviously could never happen
because they're in the same division,
but those were the two best teams in MLB this year.
Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I do think,
I think the Dodgers already went through a tougher opponent
in the Padres than they're gonna face in the Yankees,
but I'm happy to be wrong about that.
I'm just happy that we have such an iconic World Series ahead of us. And I read a stat,
I want to look it up real fast to make sure I'm not getting it wrong.
How many times have Dodgers
been faced off?
So the Yankees and the Dodgers have faced off 11 times
previously in the World Series.
That is the most in baseball.
And I think it's the most in professional sports
next to the most storied rivalry
in professional sports probably,
at least in sports that I care about.
The Lakers and the Celtics have faced off 12 times
in the finals.
This will, I believe, be the 12th time,
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight,
nine, 10, 11, 12.
Yeah, this will be the 12th time
the Dodgers and the Yankees have faced off
in the World Series, so they will be tying
Lakers, Celtics, for most times,
two rivals have faced off in a championship series. Let's look at
Let's look at the the right because I don't know who's got the record so far
So it looks like 19. I'll just count it up 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
It looks like the Yankees have won 8 of the 11 matchups so far
With the Dodgers only winning three times. So Yankees won in 41 47 49 52 53.
Dodgers won in 55. Yankees won in 56. Dodgers won in 63. Then the Yankees won in 77 78. Then the
Dodgers won in 81. Who's gonna win in 2024? Yankees clearly have the historic advantage?
Being up eight to three in the rivalry
but
Man Dodgers are a really good fucking team. I'll tell you what if Mookie Betts plays as well as Mookie Betts should play
I think that's the I think he's the key. I mean everybody's looking at Shohei. Everybody's looking at Freddie Freeman
Will he be healthy or not? You know the
Everybody's looking at Shohei. Everybody's looking at Freddie Freeman.
Will he be healthy or not?
You know, the tremendous pitching we have on the Dodgers.
But I really do think Mookie Betts.
Mookie Betts and oddly, Max Muncie.
If Max Muncie gets on base, the Dodgers win.
And Max Muncie draws a lot of walks.
So if Max Muncie can find his way on base,
I think the Dodgers are gonna have a pretty decent,
I think they'll win it in like five.
Mm.
No, I think they're gonna win it in six,
but I think the wins will be blowouts.
How about that?
I think they'll win it in six,
but the wins will be blowouts.
That's my World Series prediction.
It begins Friday night, October 25th, I believe.
So if you are a fan of baseball, you don't need to hear this from me, you know this. So if you are a fan of baseball,
you don't need to hear this from me, you know this.
If you are not a fan of baseball
and are looking to get into a sport
or to see what it's all about,
the World Series is the place to do it.
I can't think of a better World Series in recent memory
than a Dodgers, Yankees World Series.
It's a biggie, Tupac rivalry.
It is the rivalry in baseball and it's iconic.
As my wife would say, it's iconic.
It's everything.
Very exciting times, but nothing on earth
is more exciting than the fact that in,
I'm doing math in my head,
eight hours and 28 minutes from right now,
I will be watching the Boston Celtics
kick off the NBA 2024-25
season on TNT facing off against the new look New York Knicks.
Holy shit, it's been forever.
It hasn't.
It's been a couple of months.
It is, but it feels like the day, actually the night before the NBA starts. It's worse than Christmas for me
It's worse than Christmas when I was a kid and you go into bed
And you know there's return of the Jedi under that tree somewhere in there
There's return of the Jedi and you're gonna get to play with return of the Jedi and you're gonna be playing with it fucking soon
Probably some laser tag in there and you're gonna get your hands on laser tag and it is there and it is waiting for you
You just have to go to sleep and wake up.
That is nothing compared to how fucking excited I am to see the Celtics play the New York Knicks tonight.
So let's take a look at the starting lineup for both teams. Let's see who's... let's talk through the victory.
Okay, first off, Celtics are at home, home court advantage.
Clearly, Celtics are at home, home court advantage, clearly. Celtics are the reigning NBA defending champions.
They have that bump and bonus.
That also puts a target on their backs,
and honestly their fronts, and I think they want it.
I think they are ready for it.
I think they had a disrespected year
to win the championship,
and I think they got disrespected in the summer afterward,
and they are ready to show that they are a dynasty like the Warriors
And they want to be the first team to go back to back since I think 27 2018 when the Warriors did it, right?
But let's take a look at the mostly healthy Knicks and the mostly healthy Celtics
Knicks are gonna be starting Jalen Brunson when the best point guards in the lead and nothing bad to say about him
Then Mikael Bridges is their shooting guard. They just got him in the offseason
From the dumpster fire that is the the nets
I like mchale bridges a lot. He's had a he had a real dog shit
Preseason but I like him a lot. He's really good. I got nothing bad to say about mo about nicks. Honestly, I don't want them to win
Clearly, but I don't dislike them. Josh Hart's going to be their small forward.
I like Josh Hart.
I think OJ Ananobe is backing up.
No, I OJ Ananobe is going to be powerful tonight.
And then Carl Anthony Towns will be stepping in as center as a New York Nick.
That's going to be interesting to see.
This is going to be a this is I said New Look Knicks earlier.
It's because two of the starters, bridges and towns Townes, were not on the team last year.
They got rid of two starters to bring them in.
So it was a kind of a big deal trade,
kind of a polarizing trade, if you will.
A lot of people think that Knicks won that trade
by getting Carl Anthony Townes.
He's a tremendous offensive player.
Not the best defender in the world
and tends to surround himself in
drama but we will see.
However, they're going to be going into the TD garden to face off against the buzzsaw
that is Drew Holliday, Derek White, Jaylen Brown, Jason Tatum and Al Horford were missing
clearly poor Zingas who is we're probably not going to get back till the end of the
year.
Forgot to mention the Knicks are missing Mitchell Robinson
and precious to Chua.
Mitchell Robinson hurts them.
They need him at center.
They're thin at center, so are we.
Not too worried about it though,
because behind Horford we have Luke Cornett,
the green Cornett and Xavier Tillman, the X-Man.
Obviously Hauser and Peyton Pritchard.
Listen, I think we have clearly probably have more depth than they do on our bench.
But starting lineup, starting lineup, these guys match up pretty well against us.
I think it's probably the most challenging starting lineup we will face in the East.
Seventy sixers being.
Maybe the only other argument for that, but I do think the Knicks are a better team.
And hey, all their players are gonna play back to backs.
So, you know, they got that going for them.
Ah, picking the Celtics to win tonight,
obviously it's gonna be an interesting game.
The Knicks are gonna come out with a lot to prove.
They wanna come out and they wanna show
that the decisions they made in the off season
to get rid of Randall and Di Vincenzo were the right decisions, that they made in the off season to get rid of Randall and Devin Chinzo were the right decisions that they have increased the efficiency
and the offensive output of their roster without sacrificing on the defensive end,
which I think they definitely did sacrifice, but we will see.
And the Celtics, so this has got to run it back.
We're just a year better, a year more experienced and with another chip on our shoulder.
So obviously I'm gonna pick the Celtics to win this game.
I think they're gonna win by six.
We will see.
Boy, where does the time go, huh?
Let's do a song of the day and call it.
How about John Henry Split My Heart
by Songs Ohia, Jason Molina.
I've talked about Songs Ohia in the past.
Really, really big fan.
I could give you a different Songs Ohia song every episode
and we'd be fine for a while.
But today's is just gonna be John Henry Split My Heart
and then we'll do something different next week.
But this song's been stuck on my head all week.
So maybe it'll be stuck in your head.
Maybe you'll take it away from me.
Maybe it'll get stuck in your head
and then it'll be like it follows and I will pass the curse on to you
I guess we will get to all the stuff. We didn't cover today next time as
Our our time here on the podcast has evaporated
Then get me going about sports and cards, huh? I will see you guys next week.
