Welcome to the Taking20 Podcast. I'm your baritone blessed host, Jeremy Shelley. This is Episode 0, What the Hell Is This? Taking20 will be a series of short, bite-sized episodes, no more than 20 minutes long, that you can digest in a single sitting. gold nuggets here and there. So why am I doing this? I've been gaming and dungeon mastering since the Dungeons and Dragons Redbox, 1982 or so. I've made every mistake there is to make, short of using my dungeon master's guide and book as toilet paper. I've played through the satanic panic all the way through tabletop RPGs modern resurgence. I still play in one campaign, DM two others, as well as various one-shots for kids, friends, and RPG players both old and new alike. I've experienced with every edition of Dungeons & Dragons from first all the way through fifth, both editions of Pathfinder, Starfinder, MechWarrior, GURPS, Traveler, multiple editions of Shadowrun, Star Wars, Paranoia, Cyberpunk 2020, Marvel Super Heroes, and even going way back to an RPG that used Play-Doh called Kleorama. This hobby has brought

me so much joy in my life that my hope is that by listening to this, others give it a try and love it too. So sit back, take off your shoes, take off your pants, take off your fake human skin and relax as your normal lizard-y self. Go have a listen to some of the released episodes and then roll some dice.
