Starting point is 00:00:02 The following meditation is led by Tara Brock. To access more of my meditations or join my email list, please visit tarabrock.com. This guided practice is a meditation for fertility. Please find a sitting posture that's relaxed and alert and take a few moments to consciously arrive. Sense this pause as an invitation to come home to this moment. Now take a few full breath.
Starting point is 00:01:07 to collect your attention. Breathing in deeply, opening, and receiving this life breath, and breathe out slowly, feeling the breath as it's released, letting go, letting go. And again, taking in a nice, deep, full in breath,
Starting point is 00:01:30 filling the chest, filling the lungs, and a slow, smooth out breath, letting go, letting go, letting go. And now, breathing naturally, bring your attention to the area of the heart, opening to the feelings, the sensations, the aliveness that's there.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Listening deeply, sense what your heart really longs for, and allow yourself to connect with the sincerity and the depth of your yearning. Now take some moments to bring the energy of loving-kindness, into your body. And you can do that by sensing and feeling the smile, a curve of a smile at the eyes.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Letting the outer corners of the eyes be lifted. Letting the brow be smooth. And you might let a smile spread through the mouth. Even feeling a slight smile in the inside of the mouth. See if you can sense the aliveness that fills the teeth and the gums, the lips, and then visualizing and sensing the curve of a smile spreading through your heart not to cover over but really to make space for whatever's here and you might sense the warmth and openness of a smile spreading through the chest
Starting point is 00:03:27 outward so that you're able to perhaps relax the shoulders a little right now letting them fall away from the neck letting the hands rest in an easy and effortless way you might soften the hands a bit and feel from the inside out the life that's there let the chest be open and see if you can soften and relax down through the torso into the belly
Starting point is 00:04:07 letting this next breath be received in a softening belly this breath and now this one and again, feeling the aliveness sensation inside the belly, and continuing to scan down through the body, relaxing down through the hips, softening and opening through the whole pelvic region. And now down through the legs,
Starting point is 00:04:50 feeling the length, the volume of the legs, feeling the feet from the inside, the tingling, vibrating there, softening, relaxing. And you might sense and imagine the whole earth body in all its vastness and aliveness, the energy of the earth body flowing through you, filling your whole body with the awareness and aliveness that's right here.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Feeling the body is a field of sensation, tingling, vibrating, aliveness. And perhaps you can sense in the midst of this aliveness the movement of the breath, a gentle resting with the breath, sensing with each in-breath that you can breathe in the healing and the aliveness of this life. And with each out-breath, a releasing into the universe whatever is no longer needed. Breathing in and with the out-breath, releasing thoughts that are limiting. breathing in fully and with the out-breath releasing fears that are unnecessary.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Breathing in and with the out-breath, releasing the tension that your body might habitually hold. Inhaling the peace and creativity and love of the universe. Exhaling and letting go, letting go, letting go. As you continue to breathe in and out, you might bring your attention now to your womb. And if you like, you might place a hand on your belly, bringing loving attention and care right there. Continue to relax and feel the movement of the breath. And as you do, you might offer prayers of loving care.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Please feel free to repeat whatever most resonates as a silent or softening. whisper. May I be open in all ways to bring new life into this world. May I be whole, awake, and tender-hearted. May this womb, heart, mind, and spirit be fertile and healthy. May my life be an expression of love, hope, gratitude, and peace. May I invite new and healthy life to take cold inside my womb. May this life be nourished and grow healthy and strong inside me. May I trust whatever unfolds on this journey and may my life serve the highest good of all. Now letting go of any ideas about life, gently bring your full attention to the heart space that's here, sensing the openness and tenderness of presence. Backs back, resting in this loving presence, sensing you are home.
