First, we have Anthony. Anthony, thank you for being a member. What's on your mind, my friend? Good day, sir. So two questions. One is regarding the SCOTUS win for Trump. Sanctuary cities and states like New York, Chicago, Rochester, New York, how will they try to fight this since the highest court has already ruled in favor of Trump? And my other question has to do with the visas by the federal government. Why do schools think they have a right to declaring who gets a visa when it's technically the government? Because I'm seeing a school in my area, the University of Rochester, they're losing tons of Chinese students and they're not happy about this because of the millions that the school is losing. Well, I'm sure they're not happy about it. But yes, it is not their call. It is the call of the federal government. The federal government gets to determine who comes into the country and who doesn't. It's not the college's call. You make a very interesting point. Many of these colleges, they have become basically like foreign racketeering operations from the Chinese Communist Party, where they come in with tons of cash, they pay full

price, they get degrees, and then they go back to China. Now, the counter argument that Blake would be somewhat sympathetic to, and I'm not dismissing it, is that this is like one of the last things we actually have that the rest of the world wants. I get that. I mean, at the same time, do we really want all of our colleges to be staffed at full price with the sons and daughters of the Chinese Communist Party? I also I also tell you, it doesn't it doesn't westernize them nearly as much as you might think. Like, oh, they come here and they learn to love America and they hate China. No, they don't. That doesn't happen at all. What do you think would be the way for it, Anthony, here? I can say this. I used to work at the University of Rochester for years, so I've seen what goes on there. I'll be honest. The colleges act like they're their own city and state because they're so small and they don't believe that they have to abide by the rules

of the local community, the federal government, they can do what they want. I really, to be honest, I think you should, I think all their tax exemptions should be taken away and they need to understand that once you start bringing in revenue, like they do, you're a business, you know, a nonprofit like yours, or let's say the cancer foundation, it's a little different, but a college is not, you're providing a service. Yeah. And it's, it's that, that the, under the 501c3 code, there is an educational carve out, but far too often, a lot of these colleges, they don't act as nonprofits. It's a difficult one. I mean, the Hillsdale College is a great example. So again, they're great supporters of our show.

It's phenomenal. Yeah. I've just been so busy at work, and I'm trying to scratch out time for that and reading.

You will finish it, and you will love it. The the Hillsdale College model. And I've sat down with Dr. Larry Arnn and he says, look, despite now, no matter how hard I've tried, I cannot make Hillsdale College cash flow neutral. So I have to go to donors to offset it. And I appreciated what he said, which is that in order to get the high quality professors at Hillsdale, which are pro-American, conservative, amazing, in order to get the buildings and the infrastructure and the dorms and the food, they charge tuition and they still lose money. So the nonprofit status allows them to continue. And that's a really good example. Where I find it harder, though, is that when some of these colleges are like mills and they have class sizes that are 700 or 800 or 900 people. There is no individualized tutoring system. They're just running them through. It does seem to operate more like a business. But

Hey, Charlie. Happy Friday. So I see that you have so much hope for your state of Arizona. And I'm a neighbor. I live in New Mexico. And we said these last elections were just so bad for us. And I'm so discouraged. I'm a mom of three. We live in a small farm and I don't see a future here for our state. Do you have any encouragement for us? So a couple of things.

First of all, thank you for being a member. I'm going to speak pretty candidly about your state because I know your state actually pretty well. And I'm going to kind of give you just kind of a take on it. And you can agree or disagree on it. First of all, I'm actually going to go back. I go to New Mexico two or three times a year to speak. I love New Mexico. It's great people.

I will say a couple things. Number one, it's called the land of enchantment for a reason. There are some of the weirdest spiritual stuff I've ever encountered in my life. I talk about it openly. I was hexed at a church once. There's some very weird, like, pagan voodoo stuff that still exists in the Albuquerque kind of Santa Fe. Here's the problem. Half of your state is Hispanic. It's

not a problem, but that they vote very, very Democrat, as you well know. And there is a ton of fraud on the Native American reservations, a ton of voter registration fraud that just does not get rooted out. The second of which, which is actually the bigger problem, is your white liberal Santa Fe problem, right? So your white liberal Santa Fe problem is you kind of have this ruling class of artsy types that have moved to Santa Fe. They tend to have a lot of money, and they are very, very, very left-wing, as you would probably agree with. Yes.

And so the other part that concerns me is that you really do not have a strong conservative base. The strongest would be the southeastern part of the state, which would be Roswell or Carlsbad or Artesia or Hobbs or Clovis, that kind of southeastern part of the state. I think that generating more turnout there. I recently had a Zoom call with some really well-meaning New Mexico philanthropists, and I was just kind of in a mood, to be honest, because people keep on asking me to save their state. Charlie, can you save Oregon? Can you save Illinois? Can you save Rhode Island? Can you save California? And my new answer is no, I can't. And I don't know if it's the best solution, honestly, to just keep on fighting when you're outnumbered so much. In the end, states must save themselves. I will tell you, Val, we would welcome you with open arms to come to

Arizona. We are right on the verge of one of the most exciting moments in Arizona history, where we could take back the state for good and turn it into a Florida. The voter registration numbers show that. The quality of candidates show that, we're raising a serious amount of money for ballot chasing and voter reg and all of that. We are going to really lean in on it. In 2026, it is the first year in over a decade where we do not have a U.S. Senate seat being run. Now, why does that matter? Well, when you have a U.S. Senate seat, you get tens of millions, sometimes hundreds of millions of out-of-state money that cares a lot about Arizona. And then it has downstream positive effects for other Democrats. So for example, Mark Kelly in 2022, if Mark Kelly would not have been on the ballot in 2022,

even with all the other issues, Carrie Lake probably would have beat Katie Hobbs. But Mark Kelly poured $120 million into his Senate race, which then got out more Democrats, and it was very hard terrain for us to navigate. In 2026 here in Arizona, we do not have a U.S. Senate seat. A lot of the money across the country will dry up and will not come to Arizona. There'll be some money, but it will instead go to Georgia.

It'll go to North Carolina. It will go to Maine. It will go to states like Michigan and Arizona will be like, oh, it's a governor's seat. We care about that, but we're going to go pour our money elsewhere. So all that to say, we have this opening. We have a great candidate, Andy Biggs, that we have completely and totally endorsed. We're going to be doing a lot of ballot chasing there. And look, I don't want to depress you, but if I, I wouldn't, I wouldn't don't live in a place that depresses you. You have great options. You have Texas to your East or Arizona to your West. And we can also help your country by neighboring Arizona. Almost every day, I get a text message from someone I grew up with in Illinois, friends, family members, parents. They're looking for property in Florida. They're looking for property

in Arizona. And it's not the worst thing, honestly, because it makes these red states even redder and it fortifies our new Sunbelt red wall. I believe that we are going to have major problems with Trump not on the ballot in the Rust Belt. I think J.D. Vance could solve some of that, which is why I like J.D. so much. I don't think, though, we're going to have major problems in the Sun Belt, maybe in Nevada, without President Trump. I actually think in Arizona and Georgia, the trends are they're getting even redder thanks to what President Trump has done. Arizona and Georgia have four Democrat U.S. senators and zero Republican U.S. senators. I think in the next 10 years, we have an opportunity to flip that and to fortify

What do you think the most impactful thing that young people can do to stay politically

engaged? Well, number one is to learn. That is number one. Learn as much as you can. Take Hillsdale online courses. Read the great books. Understand why you are a conservative, what it means to defend Western civilization, know the difference between facts and wisdom. Those are two different things. And then finally, I don't love the new kind of influencer craze where everyone just wants to be an influencer. They're going to kind of film themselves. I encourage anyone that wants to get involved in politics. You have to cut your teeth in the grassroots of politics. This is something I talk about all the time with our Turning Point Action team. election cycle where you're doing thankless work. It's not all just about being popular and taking selfies and doing TikTok live streams. Have you knocked on doors? I got my start knocking on doors in my own free time in 2010 for Congressman Mark Kirk in the Illinois 10th Congressional District for making phone calls. I was such a believer in this that after football practice, I would have my parents drive me to the Illinois GOTV Republican Party Victory Center to go make calls from 630 to 8. I set the record for the most amount of phone calls that were made. On Saturdays, the day after football games in the fall, instead of just taking the day off, I would go into the Illinois GOTV Victory Center and just

make calls for Mark Kirk. I think Mark Kirk actually became a U.S. senator in 2010. No relation. So if you want to be popular in politics and politics, go do the work. I have. Where do you live, Jordan? Arizona. Arizona. Perfect. So, Jordan, you can get involved with Turning Point Action. Here's my advice to you, Jordan. Become a grunt work machine for the Andy Biggs for governor campaign. Knock on the most. We most doors. Yeah, please tell me. We're going to the rally this weekend at the Biltmore. Phenomenal. But my biggest piece of criticism to most young people when they want to get involved in politics, they want to be famous. Now, you've got to at least spend – I spent five to seven years just in the thankless grassroots. And then I was like, oh, I guess I've got to go start social media accounts. I didn't start a Facebook page until like 2014, 2015, well, like three years into starting Turning Point USA. I was too busy traveling the country, raising money. I mean,

I was all over the place. And now kids show up. They're like, oh, I want to be famous. Like, hold on a second. You got calm down. Like you got to go do the work. You got to cut your teeth. You've got to knock on doors. You got to chase ballots. You got to make phone calls. You do not know anything about politics until you've had to go knock on 100 doors and only 10 of them are answered. How are you? Great. I just want to let you know, I've been listening to your podcast since 2021, and I just finished listening to your debate at the University of Cambridge. Oh, well, first of all, thank you for your many years of listening. What did you make of that? Oh, my gosh. I was blown away, first of all.

So impressed. Thank you. By your knowledge. They just came at you. What a tough crowd. They came at you with a variety of topics and just the breadth and depth with facts and studies. And you just, you came at them,

just came back at them, just with such articulation and thought. And I guess my question is, do you have any afterthoughts of some of the things that you said on some of the topics? Would you do anything different? Would you add anything? I just want to hear your thoughts on that. What a great question. And thank you for that encouragement. It's gone very viral. And I think

Oxford will go even more viral. I always start with this. There are no excuses ever when you're in the position that I'm in. It doesn't matter if you're outnumbered 1 to 4,000 or 1 to 40,000, you play to win. However, context does matter, and I want people to know this. So, of course, that was 5,000 miles from my home. Super jet lagged, red-eye flight, little sleep, and all that. So all of that factored in. Also, as soon as I showed up at Cambridge, I felt the energy, and I turned to Mikey and Blake.

I said, this is going to be a rumble. This is going to, this is going to be a brawl. And Mikey's like, what do you mean? I said, no, no, no. I can feel it. I said, this is all fake niceties. They are setting this thing. This is a gladiatorial,

this is an intellectual gladiatorial match that is about to unfold. And so she, she literally introduces me and not a single person applauds. You could see that. Like, no, like, oh, yeah, courtesy. It was just cold stone stares. Yeah.

So we do this back and forth, this question and answer. And her questions were so banal and they were so dumb and shallow. She was just reading off a Wikipedia page. So I go and then I take the questions and I'll do that. I'll take. And some of the questions were just really silly. And look, some of those kids, obviously they talked fast and understand they had an open link on the Cambridge union website where they were like, who here wants to debate Charlie Kirk? They were openly saying they were taking applications for

debating, not for asking questions. That was literally in their email. Who wants to go debate Charlie Kirk? I don't care. So they have all week to come up with a singular topic that I don't know what they're going to ask one after the other to come up to try to get a gotcha against me. So all that, and then the entire, the audience was applauding at the dumbest stuff imaginable. All that to say, I'm very thankful for how I did. They had beyond a home field advantage.

I think I had like three supporters in the audience. Only thing I would have done differently is I wish I would have taken the mic at the end when it was over and just done the gospel of Jesus Christ. That's my only regret. I wish I would have just taken the mic and just went straight gospel. And just because that would have just, I would, I think they would have booed me. And I think I should have just kept talking until they like dragged me out of there. I think that would have been really cool. And I don't want to say I regret it. The only other thing is that looking back at

the footage, I think there was a couple elements of things I probably could have emphasized more like the fast talking Cambridge girl with the American flag. She said America's terrible to women while she was wearing an American flag. So I probably could have emphasized on that one. The meth, the meth hobbit, the guy that was jumping all over the place that was anti-Israel. I actually thought I handled that okay, even though he stormed off and he just decided to stop arguing. But the thing I'm most proud of is that I didn't get upset. I didn't get indignant. I did not become frenetic or frantic, which is very hard in a situation where it is 400 people against one. But thank you for that encouragement. It means a lot. And the response has been so overwhelmingly positive of people

that said, we just love what you did. And so, Joni, thank you for that. It really means a lot. You slayed it. Thank you. Thank you. just love what you did. And so, Joni, thank you for that. Oh, of course. So a couple days ago, I recently broke things off with my girlfriend. The main reason of that was political differences, and I was wondering, as a married man yourself, could you elaborate on why that's not a good idea to try and have a long-term relationship with someone with opposite political views? Thank you for that. I've done an entire, let's just say, campus, not talk, but a campus question. In fact, that is a really good topic that I could talk more about on campus. I do not believe that you should build a life with somebody that doesn't share your values. In old days, this didn't matter as much, to be honest, 20 or 30 years ago, because you could still have similar values, but different politics. However, it is a completely different thing nowadays. Think about it. If you are going to have children, well, that's now a political

question. If you are going to give them every single vaccine, what worldview are you going to raise those kids in? Are you going to be raised in a religious household? And how about this? Let's pretend that you're not even having kids yet and you just get married to somebody. What are you going to watch on TV? Are you going to watch the latest trans drag queen thing on Netflix? Or are you going to watch a World War II documentary? Almost everything is laced with politics. And from the very morning where you're flipping through your daily news cycle, don't you want to be able to talk about your partner for life,

about how you view the world comfortably and not have to walk on eggshells and be like, oh, we don't talk about that here. That is a volcano waiting to erupt. That is a combustible engine. And finally, if you have kids, are you going to raise them as conservatives or raise them as liberals? Are you going to raise them as Christians or raise them as atheists? Are you going to raise them a belief in God? It goes on and on and on. A house divided cannot stand. And some people say, well, my wife has, you know, we've been liberal for 30 years. I think it was different 30 or 40 years ago. I still wouldn't recommend it, but it was a different country. It was a different paradigm

in today's America. I strongly insist and encourage you should not marry or even seriously date somebody with differing political views or a different worldview. And it's just you are inviting a recipe for disaster. So you made the right decision. And for men out there, if you are dating a liberal woman, you should break up with her immediately. Originally, we were born and raised to study and be here.

But I'm a strong believer on all the values that you always talk all throughout your videos and everything. And I'm a supporter of Millet in part in Argentina, but what's something that you, your basic advice for someone like me to leverage my unique perspective and faith to inspire fellow young conservative, both Americans and non-Americans, newcomers like me, to get involved into shaping this country? Well, that's a beautiful question, Juan. Thank you for that. Juan, here's what I would say.

I think you need to tell the story of how Argentina was once one of the wealthiest countries in the world, which is true. And because of the Eva Perón types and socialism the last 40 or 50 years, Argentina became one of the poorest countries in South America. And it's completely and totally because of cautious public policy decisions. It's because of a series of political decisions that were made in Argentina to say, oh, we're not going to export grass fed beef. I'm sure you're familiar with that stupid decision. Yeah. Or we're going to have overwhelming government benefits. Argentina was and still is one of the most beautiful countries on the planet. I mean, it is incredible. There is a reason why some really, really bad hombres in World War Two found refuge in Argentina. It's beautiful and it's easy to hide in Argentina, right? It's a very big

country. I would tell Americans a cautionary tale that if you don't get your house in order, you can go from rich, you can go from wealthy to poor or poverty quite quickly. You see, we in the West, and especially those lunatics at Cambridge, we take wealth so, so for granted. We act as if wealthy is the norm. Poverty is the norm. Not having anything is the norm. Now, Juan, really quick, in 30 seconds, did you see, what did you see in Argentina from a poverty standpoint?

Just so you guys know, it used to be rich as an Argentinian. It used to be an idiom. Not anymore. Talk about the poverty that you saw in Argentina. It is pretty big. It is from wealth and education because of what you said about Perón and all that, all the institutions. Our labor laws are based on Mussolini's Carta del Laboro still right now. So they are pretty poor in that. That's why one of the reasons that I came here is because I see there's no change about those things there. And I say, let's find a better place. Well, Juan, keep fighting for freedom.

I have traveled the world. I have never been to South America. Well, yeah, it's true. I've been, yeah, I actually haven't. I've been to an island near it, but I haven't been. I have not been to South America. And I really want to dive into South American culture and learn and see,

My question is, do you believe that the Israel-Palestine conflict is fundamentally rooted in territorial disputes? Or are religious differences the primary driving force behind it? Like, in your view, would the events of October 7th still have occurred if Israel were a majority Muslim state occupying the same land? It's a great question. The answer is no.

What happened on October 7th is uniquely radical Islamic terror. You could say a lot against Israel. I have no evidence ever whatsoever that the Israeli government or Jews or Christians would do what they did on October 7th. With GoPros in hand, going to kibbutzes, dance festivals, doing kidnapping, slitting of people's throats, celebrating it. We had a peace, we had relative peace on October 6th, and Islamists, Mohammedans in Gaza, they broke that on October 7th. They almost, it's very bizarre and very perverse. It's almost like they wanted Israel to overreact, to turn the world against Israel.

You have to wonder kind of what Gaza's calculation actually was. It was a mini attempted Holocaust on October the 7th. This really is a struggle. And you could have, but there's three ways to think about the Israel conflict. You could be anti-Jewish, of which I have no tolerance for whatsoever. You could be anti-Israel, which we could debate, but that's still, you know, something. Or you can be anti-Israeli government. Those are three separate things. However, you must be intellectually and morally honest. I get asked about the Israel conflict all the time. You must understand that this is a civilizational struggle. This is barbarians versus civilization. It's that simple. You could try to curtail it any

way you want. You could try to fasten it. Look, I don't. I am a Christian. When anyone dies, it pains me. When young Gazan kids are being killed, it's terrible. Unfortunately, in war, people die. It is not good. It is not something that we should celebrate. War is awful. And when I see videos of IDF soldiers that are celebrating when they're bombing buildings, they got to cut that crap out too. You got to stop it. Okay, you shouldn't be celebrating when you're bombing buildings. So both, I would say that, however, the most important component is this, is that it's a civilizational struggle.

Happy Friday. Thanks for everything you do, as always. My question is a little different. Just a unique perspective you might have on the Officer Chauvin situation. You know, with the whispers, and I think he should be rightfully pardoned, though that's going to be a federal only. And then he goes back to that because he was convicted in state and federal charges. Again, you can argue if it was right or not.

I don't think it was. But will some MAGA state harbor him and tell Minnesota, come get him, extradite him? Or if he is federally pardoned, how would you see that playing out? It's a very complicated question, and it's a good question. I'm not even sure that Chauvin wants a pardon at this point, because that would actually

put him, that would actually throw him in a worse prison on the state level. He deserves a federal pardon. Of course he does. George Floyd died of a drug overdose. That's something we've known for quite some time. You're not allowed to say that out loud, but George Floyd obviously died of a drug overdose. Just look at the original, unedited, non-politically pressured, non-politically motivated Hennepin County Medical Examiner Report. George Floyd was saying, quote, I can't breathe when he was in the back of the police car before anybody laid hands on him. Yes. Yes. That's the part they never show. Yes. And he was with two other people and they are both alive today. They don't show you that. And so did Derek Chauvin act perfectly? No, I don't think we've ever made that case, but he does not deserve to spend the rest of his life in prison. unless there will eventually be a Minnesota governor that will pardon him. He'll probably never get out of prison.

But federally, he should be completely and totally pardoned. Well, no, but that's the thought, though, is if he was federally pardoned, couldn't federal officers grab him and then just move him to Florida? No. Well, that's interesting. But, no, we do do have respecting of the state's sovereign rights as long as they're not conflicting with the u.s constitution which it wouldn't be because he's still under state law and we do have a federalist system there and i wouldn't even necessarily even support that because you do for example you don't want a joe biden president all

of a sudden start grabbing illegal aliens you know or a future aoc president to start grabbing illegal aliens from you know texas and bringing them them to New York so they could run for mayor or some nonsense. But no, look, to answer your question, Derek Chauvin should be pardoned. I don't think he acted perfectly. He was probably sat on his neck a little too long, but even using the knee brace was trained by the Minnesota Police Department, a fact that was not allowed to be introduced into the court. So what happened to Chauvin was unjust, but we can't destroy our entire system for his sake. Yes, sir. Thank you.
