Starting point is 00:00:00 My name is Charlie Kirk. I run the largest pro-American student organization in the country fighting for the future of our republic. My call is to fight evil and to proclaim truth. If the most important thing for you is just feeling good, you're going to end up miserable. But if the most important thing is doing good, you will end up purposeful. College is a scam, everybody. You've got to stop sending your kids to college. You should get married as young as possible and have as much.
Starting point is 00:00:30 many kids as possible. Go start a turning point U.S.A. College chapter. Go start a turning point you would say high school chapter. Go find out how your church can get involved. Sign up and become an activist. I gave my life to the Lord in fifth grade. Most important decision I ever made in my life and I encourage you to do the same. Here I am.
Starting point is 00:00:46 Lord, use me. Buckle up, everybody. Here we go. The Charlie Kirk Show is proudly sponsored by Preserve Gold. leading gold and silver experts and the only precious metals company I recommend to my family, friends, and viewers.
Starting point is 00:01:09 All right, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. I'm Andrew Colvette, executive producer of this fine show, and joined to my left a little lopsided today. Blake Neff. Honored to be with you all, and what an evening it was last night. So much going on.
Starting point is 00:01:24 There was this, I mean, the world exclusive, the first time Erica has gone on camera in an interview, Erica Kirk, Charlie's widow, of course. Actually, that's not true. She came on this show for a few segments just to talk about the future of this show
Starting point is 00:01:42 and how we are continuing on in Charlie's honor and legacy. But really, this was the first time network television, live primetime with Jesse Waters. And it was, I've gotten so many texts. I've gotten so many people just, saying how remarkable her courage and her bravery is. And I can tell you that the interview happened in this room right here where we're sitting. They did it right there.
Starting point is 00:02:11 The production team, our amazing production team, by the way, who's just been tremendous throughout this whole process, cleared out a lot of our own gear and made room for Jesse's team to get in here. They did the interview right there. I sat against that wall during it. There was a number of Fox's production team in here. And I watched it happen live. And I knew it was going to be a really incredible, incredible, just moment for the world to see.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Because I will tell you, Blake, live and in person, I was, I was pretty much a wreck when it was happening. And I actually asked Jesse after the interview, I said, how did you keep it together? Like, I saw him there. He was, like, sitting there stoke. And he's like, he's like, I had to emotionally prep in advance to make sure that I was not going to break down. or get emotional you can kind of tell because he actually like the way he asks his questions is a little like robotic almost like you could tell he was sort of disassociating that's exactly what he said he did he had to disconnect himself from his own emotions and he said even still uh she almost uh she almost got
Starting point is 00:03:17 him a couple times and he's like i don't i don't even know how i got through that interview it was it was it was that difficult and i know erika after it happened you know basically collapsed i mean you know she is brave she is courageous she knew she had to i mean if i could just a little inside baseball here i've gotten personally for erika probably like 60 what you would call reputable interview requests like big outlets you know reporters i mean there's probably hundreds more than that but like like legitimate journalists that have wanted to interview erika and so she sort of knew that this was going to have to happen at some point. And I think Jesse Waters did a phenomenal job, hat to the whole Fox team. It was very classy, very, very professional, very respectful.
Starting point is 00:04:11 But Jesse went there. He went into, like, he asked all the questions. Let's show the clips. Let's do it. Well, actually, I want to, I just want to, okay, yeah, go ahead. You, you pick the first clip. Let's do, you know, let's just do the most basic one. Let's do, let's just do clip 250. You told your children that Charlie was going on a work trip with Jesus. Are they still asking, where's daddy? Yes, my daughter continues to ask, but it's really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things. And I said, if ever you want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.
Starting point is 00:04:49 I told her, I said, you know, Daddy, Daddy is in heaven. She goes, you think I could go sometime? I said, baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day. Yeah, I mean, I don't know about you, Blake, but the kid clips, specifically, a lot of people clipped them up, put them on social media, but I just, there is something crazy, hard to watch about the kid clips. Anyways, keep it going. what what uh let's do you know a lot of these actually go well just in order um you know she talks about oh man there's so many of these uh let's do let's do just her talking about how how she found
Starting point is 00:05:38 out about things because there have been evil people trying to like yeah fair enough nasty stuff about this let's do uh 361 we saw the hats being flung i put my phone down and it was on silent so i had no reason to look back at it when i moved my mom i went back to to grab my phone, and that's when Mikey started calling me. He called me within seconds. I called Erica. I just remember it rang like three or four times. I didn't know what to say.
Starting point is 00:06:08 Those are the words that will change someone's life forever, and you have to be the one to say it. That was the first time I've ever called her during a campus tour stop. And so Mikey called me, and I'll never forget. I'm just being like, Charlie's been shot. He's been shot, get the kids. get security get the kids get the kids he's been shot i sprinted out of her treatment center
Starting point is 00:06:29 just collapsed in the middle of the parking lot yeah do we want to address this because you know we've talked about it before but i mean basically and i have some experience with this too because charlie had told me along you know from time to time not as much as he told charles uh told mike but he he did tell me like listen if anything ever happens you call erika and you know, especially like, you know, when we were out at these events, like he would say, hey, just let Erica know, you know. And sometimes it would almost be joking. Like, and so anyways, Mikey, you know, basically is standing next to Charlie's side when it happens. He turns around, puts his fingers in his ear and walks away. And he, he instantly, I think just like the noise of that
Starting point is 00:07:18 place was so crazy. He ends up calling his wife. They call Erica. They call Erica. tell Erica. And that moment, you know, I think the thing that hit me when Erica said that is that Mikey, and I think Mikey said it, is that he never had called Erica during an event. Yeah, that kind of shocked me and yet it makes sense. Yeah. Kind of why would he? Because he's busy, like Mikey's whole job at these events was to take social media videos and get it out to all the social media teams of Charlie coming up to the crowd and Charlie coming up, throwing the hats. And we put them out on social media and they, you know, people loved seeing that because I think it was inspiring for people so that was Mikey's job
Starting point is 00:07:55 and anyways the fact that he never called her from an event was because there was no need to let's keep going here let's do you know this is another one I thought was interesting she's saying
Starting point is 00:08:11 that she's just not going to ever actually look at the video herself let's do 377 there are certain things you see in your life that mark your soul forever I don't want my husband's public assassination to be something I ever see. I don't want my kids to ever see that. And for people who actually enjoy watching that,
Starting point is 00:08:35 which is quite literally sick, what if that was your father or your brother or your sister? There's a perspective shift there. We're human. life is fragile and there is so much beauty in this world
Starting point is 00:08:59 why would you waste any portion of your life looking at something so evil and you know one last one I really wish you could play all of these but I really like this one let's play 379 would Charlie have forgiven his killer
Starting point is 00:09:15 he's in heaven and he sees everything full picture. And I truly believe that if the Lord, which this does not happen, but if the Lord gave him an option to return back to Earth, and if the Lord said, this is what your death
Starting point is 00:09:39 is going to be the catalyst for, do you want to go back and exchange it? he'd say no he'd say no you know it's interesting in the days after it happened I had like three different people tell me
Starting point is 00:09:59 that they had sort of like almost a vision or a picture in their mind of that exactly what she was describing I just finished watching one of the most powerful new series I've seen in a long time truth and treason now streaming on Angel it's the true story of
Starting point is 00:10:17 Helmuth Huberner, a teenager in Nazi Germany, who dared to stand against one of the most terrifying regimes in history, armed with nothing but a typewriter in the truth. He printed anti-Nazi leaflets exposing the lies of the Third Reich. He knew the risks. He knew it could cost him everything, but he did it anyways, because when you see tyranny, silence is not an option. This series is gut-wrenching, yet deeply inspiring. Helmeth's courage speaks just as powerfully today as it did then. Angel Studios, the same team behind the Sound of Freedom and Homestead, has done it again, telling stories that celebrate truth, faith, and freedom. These aren't just good films. They're cultural reset buttons. When you join the Angel Guild, you don't just stream
Starting point is 00:11:00 entertainment. You help create it. Visit angel.com slash Charlie to join the Angel Guild and stream truth and treason today. Be part of the movement that amplifies light. So Erica Kirk, we're going to keep playing these clips from her first exclusive interview with Jesse Waters. I thought it was tremendous, a triumph. My congratulations to the entire team that was involved and to, of course, Erica, who comported herself so bravely
Starting point is 00:11:27 and gracefully. Let's keep playing the clips here, Blake. Yeah, so let's do what on a hit is Riley pointed this out. A lot of people have sent us stuff. They've sent us things into the office, into the studio, and I think
Starting point is 00:11:43 you know, they might wonder how that's gone. And so Erica actually showed Jesse what we've been doing with that. So let's play 363. Oh, my goodness. I know. Everyone's sending all of this here. They received tens of thousands of letters, cards, gifts, personal Bibles, paintings, and more. A lot of this is from when people came to the campus, the turning point of USA offices, and left it outside the gates.
Starting point is 00:12:14 also a lot has been mailed. I mean, it's just unbelievably humbling, but this is all mail. I told them not to throw anything away. I want every single card saved for my kids. And for when, if a day gets hard at your desk, you come in in this mail room, and I want you to come in,
Starting point is 00:12:38 and I want you to pick up any of these cards, and I want you to read it, so you can put into perspective why you work here. Oh my gosh. I need to stop in there. I haven't actually gone in yet. I know it is there. I should go by later today.
Starting point is 00:12:53 We have one more thing that we want to flag. Jesse asked, do you think they have the right guy who did this? Let's do 385. Do you think they've caught your husband's killer? We have one of the most incredible teams for this case. I would never wish it upon anybody to have to go through what we are going through to have seen the autopsy report
Starting point is 00:13:20 to have seen the different evidence portions that have been collected I trust our team yeah and I will just say that you know I'm not next of kin you you can't comment on everything either Blake you know and I think that leaves a vacuum and there's there's bad actors there's
Starting point is 00:13:47 frankly there's good actors too that really care about charlie and getting justice for charlie that have come into that space and are inserting i think doubt or questions some of its good faith questions a lot of its bad faith questions but i will just tell you the team is like this is a this is a rock solid case they have a ton of evidence and you know i noticed our friend jack is even circulating on social media, Jack Posobic, the affidavit that, you know, even shows that the parents turned him in and he confessed to them. And it was, you know, apparently the, this, this young guy was potentially about to commit suicide. So the family tried to intervene and make him turn himself in. So, I mean, all of the, that, I know that there's a lot of noise out there.
Starting point is 00:14:32 I know there's a lot of noise. Blake, would you say there's a lot of noise? There's a lot of noise. There's a lot of noise and on one level it's like I don't and a lot of stuff that's also just inaccurate I mean she mentioned she's getting you know getting the call and then I saw that online and all these people saying oh wasn't she there when it happened and they're changing their stories no the story has never been that she was there I've told a false story I've noticed a lot of people just assumed that she was there just became kind of it was very common for people to say like he was shot to death in front of his children I think there were even AI videos where they run up that's not weird stuff but no like she was actually she was planning on going and going and then Charlie told her stay home with your mom because her mom had doctor's appointments that day and take care of the kids. You need to be home for your mom and for the kids. So she was like, okay, I'll stay. And I'm really grateful that she wasn't there. I'm grateful I wasn't there. And my heart is like with, you know, the team that was there. And anyways, I know there's a vacuum, but let me just assure the audience. I don't know if my words mean anything when when people are out there, you know, stirring so much chaos about this. But the, the case is very
Starting point is 00:15:41 good, you know, and there will come a time. This whole trial is going to play out. And we should play that clip, by the way, about cameras in the courtroom because I thought Erica's point was so well made. It's like Charlie's assassination was everywhere. I mean, I can only imagine billions and billions of views, right? He didn't get a say in that. And so how dare anybody you know, suggest that there shouldn't be cameras in the courtroom. Like, let the world see. Let the world see. And with all the intrigue, and again, I say this, I know there's a lot of good faith people that just want to get justice for Charlie. Well, so we have nothing to hide. There's nothing to hide in this case. Let the cameras see.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Let them in. Let them see. Many of us are hopeful about the direction the country is headed. But after years of abuse and mismanagement, things could fall apart at any moment. That's why. I and Americans from all walks of life have taken action to prepare for what's coming next. And that starts with having an emergency food supply. Storing food in your home is the right thing to do because we're living in crazy times, which explains why so many people are preparing. Right now you can get ready too with a three-month emergency food kit from my Patriot Supply. It comes with delicious foods like creamy stroganoff, honey wheat bread, and mushroom rice peel off.
Starting point is 00:17:00 The entire kit offers over 2,000 calories a day. this food kit lasts up to 25 years. Who knows what our country will look like then, but when that day comes, you'll be ready. Now, hear from Charlie, in his own words. Just go to mypatriotsupply.com slash KIRK and join millions of Americans who are preparing today at mypatriotsupply.com slash Kirk.
Starting point is 00:17:20 That is my patriot supply.com slash Kirk. I want to bring in our first guest of the day, Kurt Schlichter, Kurt, you're a senior columnist at Town Hall. you have a new piece out, actually, that we're going to get to in just a second. But, you know, we've been going through clips of Erica's interview, the first, the exclusive first, with Jesse Waters last night. And we're getting to a couple more pieces. And I want to, we'll get you in on the reaction for this. But there's a, there's a clip just talking about, you know, Blake, you set it up.
Starting point is 00:17:56 You set it up. Oh, do you just, you want the one on cameras? Yeah. Yeah. I believe that it is 374. The defense wants to ban cameras in the courtroom. How do you feel about that? There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered.
Starting point is 00:18:15 There have been cameras all over my friends and family, mourning. There have been cameras all over me, analyzing my every move, analyzing my every smile, my every tear. We deserve to have cameras in there. why not be transparent there's nothing to hide i know there's not because i've seen what the case is built on let everyone see what true evil is this is something that could impact a generation and generations to come kurt why don't you're a lawyer um you know i thought i thought she did beautifully there i think you know it's so true i mean we've all been so scrutinized in the aftermath of this You know, so we're victims as well because, you know, we lose our friend, our boss, our colleague.
Starting point is 00:19:05 And then everything has been scrutinized since 9-10 and her most of all. And so bring us into that courtroom. What is the deliberation even, you know, about cameras or no cameras? Explain that to us. Clearly, for some reason, the defense doesn't think it's going to be to their benefit to have cameras in the courtroom. And look, I defended people in civil cases. I also brought cases. I get it. And it is important that we protect the rights of this accused person. After all, if he's found guilty of what he did, he's likely to get the death penalty. And if he's guilty of it, he'll deserve it.
Starting point is 00:19:46 I think every American has a right to see how justice is done. Trials are public. You can go there. I don't understand why you can't have cameras there. And yes, sometimes lawyers play to the cameras. Okay, they play to the jury all the time. That's why you have a judge to say, calm down counsel. This is a serious matter. I expect you to pay him like a serious attorney with the appropriate level of respect and the appropriate level of dignity that this situation demands.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Look, Eric is absolutely right. The American people have a right to see this evidence. they have a right to see if it proves him guilty. They have a right to see if the state can't make its case. Again, we're planning, we are attempting, as a government, we're attempting to take the life of this man. He's up for the death penalty. He should be up for the death penalty if he can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to
Starting point is 00:20:44 have done what he did. Now, do I believe that the evidence is very strong? I believe it's very strong. I believe he's very likely to be convicted. that's not the point. The point is that when we do something like this, we, the people, we have nothing to hide. We have nothing that we don't want everyone to see. So why not have cameras in the courtroom? I think it's an important lesson. And it's important to tell the American people why this, this person allegedly did what he allegedly did. We want to say,
Starting point is 00:21:23 see it. We want to know. This is going to change, this has changed the course of America's history. All right. This is, this is a crime, and all crimes are devastating to their families, but this also hurt us in a country as a, in a way, only a political assassination can hurt us. So we have a right to know exactly what's going on, to know. To know. that our prosecutors are doing their job to know that this person's given the right to a complete and full defense to get all the facts out that he thinks are important while we get all the facts out that we think are vital. So there is no good reason in my mind for a judge, in this case, not to allow cameras in the courtroom. Again, if he's afraid that people are going to grandstand, you know, there's not a
Starting point is 00:22:23 good trial lawyer out there who hasn't had a judge say simmer down mr schlichter you're getting over your skis this is a trial not a not a performance art not an interpretive dance present your case yeah well that's what you should do i think what that i think that's really well said and you know i one of the things that you know i i worry about some of this stuff is it overshadows all of this amazing outpouring of love and support and just the tremendous ground of students and support for for turning point but we got to do it I mean there there when the trials when the trial ends up happening you can bet you better believe that this show is going to be covering it in detail we are we're going to be watching every move we this is this is
Starting point is 00:23:10 going to be front and center for us so we have to just confront the the the grim reality that is facing us but I mentioned the fact that we have this outpouring of love and support and we've had these these campus tours I mean Charlie's vision was always to have these arenas packed with students. That was his vision. And it's happening. And last night at Auburn, we had Eric Trump, Lara Trump, Benny Johnson, coach Tommy Tuberville, all out in Auburn.
Starting point is 00:23:36 And it was an amazing, amazing event. And then, you know, lo and behold, President Trump calls in in the middle of it. I want to play this clip just because it's just a phenomenal moment. Play cut 359. Hello. So we have the most beautiful crowd of people, thousands of thousands of people, at Auburn University. They are incredibly enthusiastic
Starting point is 00:23:55 and they absolutely adore this country. They adore God and they adore you. Well, I want to just say a lot of everybody. I hope Eric is doing a good job and Laura's doing a good job. But I just want to pay my respects to Charlie and Erica. These are two incredible people.
Starting point is 00:24:14 And Eric, I've spoken to her off and she's just a spectacular person and she's going to start where Charlie left off. And we love Charlie's looking down on us right now, all of us. And Erica, you just, you're there someplace and you just take care of yourself. We're with you all the way. And we're with the great people that my son and Laura are speaking to.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah, a beautiful, beautiful moment there. I mean, this is, I love this clip. Kurt, make sense of the aftermath here, of all of this outpouring and what we're seeing across the country. Because it does end up playing into our politics, our culture, and this moment we're living through. Well, look, this is the first time I've had a chance to be on the show since this disgusting murder. So I haven't said any of this stuff. But, you know, I had the effect of this was enormous. I had people who were not political coming up to me because they knew I was.
Starting point is 00:25:14 They knew I had been on Charlie's show. Just telling me how sorry they were, and including very liberal people. just how sorry and disgusted they were. This was something that affected our country in a way that really hasn't happened since maybe the death of Martin Luther King, the death of RFK. This showed that there was something deeply wrong in the country with at least some section of the country. And I expect nothing from the degenerates who celebrated this. They're disgusting people.
Starting point is 00:25:51 They have to live with themselves and they have to answer in another place at another time. What really struck me was how normal American people reacted as you would expect normal people to react, that they were appalled, that they were ashamed, that someone would do this in our country, an outpouring of caring and concern for Erica and the kids, and everybody who Charlie touched. You know, I, it's easy to become hopeless when something terrible happens. When you face incredible evil, which is what this was, including the aftermath with all the people cheering it on,
Starting point is 00:26:45 Maybe sometimes you forget that decency and good are out there and that they're stronger than you're not a strong person because you're celebrating this. You're weak. You're pathetic. You're disgusting and despicable. And I don't want to think about those people. I want to think about the decent people. And I want to think about what Charlie did.
Starting point is 00:27:08 And I want to think about his legacy. And I got to tell you. And I've watched you. and I've sent you some texts telling you, you know, hey, keep it up. You're doing great because you guys are. And I've been watching Erica. And I got to say, if they thought they were going to snuff out this movement by murdering Charlie, when Erica, as Erica goes forward, they're not going to know what hit them.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Yeah. She's an incredible person. She's an incredible person. And by the way, I just want to play this really quick because, you know, I said this, I think, last night on Sean Hannity's show, that, you know, Erica's always had my love and appreciation and my support. And I saw them dating. I saw them get married.
Starting point is 00:27:55 I was at their wedding. But watching her move, you know, step by step in the aftermath of this with such grace and courage and strength has really been. I mean, I just have to say, one of the most tremendous things I've ever seen. Play Cut 251. Do you feel safe? What are they going to threaten me with? going to heaven sooner to be with my husband. And I don't say that to be reckless.
Starting point is 00:28:18 I do not. I do not say that because I'm out in the streets. Like, here I am, come find me. And it's not at all. It's a fearlessness that's rooted in the understanding that I will have my day and my time, whenever that is. When the Lord knows that it's, I've completed my mission. And I'm not afraid. Charlie wasn't afraid either.
Starting point is 00:28:43 We never lived in fear. If we did, we wouldn't get anything done. Amen. This is Lane Schoenberger, Chief Investment Officer and founding partner of Y-R-R-R-R-R-R-E-Fi. It has been an honor and a privilege to partner with TurningPoint and for Charlie to endorse us. His endorsement means the world to us, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with TurningPoint for years to come. Now, hear Charlie, in his own words, tell you about Y-R-R-R-R-E-F-Y-F-I. Starting point is 00:30:01 I'm reading some of them right now. This is from Christopher. Hello, Charlie Kirk's show. I watched the interview last night. Difficult for me to watch. Very sad, but I watched it. Erica is a strong and holy woman all of us fans and followers love and support her thanks for all you guys do come to long island when you can okay we will i love long island actually uh this is from nancy mate the dear lord watch over erika and the family my husband and i loved charlie and loved listening to what he had to say i watched the interview last night erika kirk is a beautiful brilliant woman and love her so much there are no words to express the sadness we have felt right along with her a big hug to her and the children prayers for Erica's parents, Charlie's parents and sister.
Starting point is 00:30:43 And that was from Nancy. God bless you. Johnny says, can Staten Island secede from New York City? That's a whole other kind of conversation. You know, it really should have been part of Jersey all the time, apparently. Really? It being part of New York State is kind of some territorial theft. Like, if you look at it on a map, it clearly is like, it sits right up against New Jersey, and it's pretty far from the rest of New York.
Starting point is 00:31:06 But I might start a giant war in New York with those comments. Yeah, well, you might. The online chatter is going to perk up. All right, Kurt, you've got a new piece out in town hall that is, it's in perfect Kurt Schlichter fashion. It says Tuesday night sucked. Now get over it. Tell us what the takeaway should be from the debacle that was Tuesday night.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Well, the takeaway is don't go jump off a bridge, okay? You have bad nights in elections. All right. I am old. I remember the 1972 presidential election, which worked out pretty well for us. McGovern was totally humiliated. And I was in second grade. And believe me, I lorded it over all the other kids in my class because I was in California in a liberal area and they were commies.
Starting point is 00:31:55 But there have been a lot of great nights. 1980 when Reagan won, 94, when we took back the house for the first time in what, 40 years, 2016, 2024, great nights. And there are bad nights. 2012 was a bad night. Okay, 2006, bad night. Yesterday, or two days ago, bad night. Okay? We got creamed, and there's no other way to put it. But if I have to get creamed in a election, I'd rather it be the off-year election in a couple of blue states rather than a midterm or, heaven forbid, a presidential. Who was going to win? Well, look, I predicted it. The Democrat states are likely to elect Democrat governors. Wow, I got it right. Now, I don't want to minimize what happened because we did learn some stuff.
Starting point is 00:32:55 We learned that we're having trouble turning out some of the new members of the America First Coalition. Hispanic numbers went down. Young people went down. Young women have just gone completely crazy. They're all over all these communists, but it doesn't mean, just because you can get information out of a bad night, you know, that's the silver lining on the cloud. Look, don't be happy about it. We could have done a lot better. And there are mistakes that we made. But, and it's important, we need to take the lessons that we've learned. 363 days until the midterms. Midterms are very important. These Democrats are, have gone completely
Starting point is 00:33:46 insane. Well, actually, I don't think they're insane. I think they're just flat out evil. And who knows what they'll do to our country if they get any power. They'll certainly stop Donald Trump from fixing the problems they created. So we've got to get serious and we've got to go and we've got to fight and play to win next time. I don't think we did that this time. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's an interesting takeaway here. I agree with you on the, we lost a lot of the young females, young people in general, went the wrong direction.
Starting point is 00:34:19 But in places like New Jersey, what's interesting is that, you know, Chittarelli got 100, I believe, 120,000 more votes than he did in 2021. It's just that Mikey Sherrill got, I think, 400,000 votes more than 2021. And so then the Democrat candidate did. So, you know, they are definitely, and we find ourselves, we talked about this last week, we find ourselves at a bit of a nadir with President Trump's support. And I think we need to take that advice and we need to take the learnings and the lessons, refocus our efforts on domestic, domestic pocketbook issues. And really, you know, perception is reality, Kurt, that we have to show and tell the voting electorate that we're focusing on domestic issues. What do you think?
Starting point is 00:35:04 30 seconds. Events come up. All right. Hamas decided to invade Israel. They had to be destroyed. Iran was about to get nuclear weapons. It had to be stopped. There are drug runners bringing fentanyl up here and killing 100,000 Americans a year.
Starting point is 00:35:21 They have to be stopped. But you're right. We want to focus on domestic issues, and we can. The economy's getting better, slowly but surely. We're going to get rid of the guy at the Fed. We're going to be able to lower interest rates. People are going to be able to buy houses. It's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:35:38 It happened last time with Trump. I remember when I was young. It happened with Ronald Reagan. Everybody said, he can't bring it back. They always bring it back. And that's what Donald Trump's going to do. It's the economy. Kurtzlichter.
