We're at the Y-Refi Studios. And oh, what a day it is. We were planning on covering the Wisconsin election, some other elections this morning as the top of the show. We had Rich Barris all lined up. And then the, the, defense in the Tyler Robinson case dropped a response to the state's motion when it comes to probable

cause upcoming September 1st hearing and wow we've got to cover it so we've blown up in the top of the show here we're going to cover what the defense is now stating in the Tyler Robinson case then we're going to have Ron Johnson talking about Fauci's text in the state of Wisconsin we have Tom Tiffany so it's great show in store for you but we've got to start here Blake this is a defense response to the state's motion regarding probable cause in the preliminary hearing. It's the bindover. It's the argue for that. And we have so much to get through. And Blake, you have been reading voraciously this morning, trying to get the entire brief under your belt here. But let's just start with this clip from actually it's Fox News. It's an attorney on the ground

that's reading it. We'll start there and get your response. Blake on the other side. SOT 22. attorneys representing Charlie Kirk's accused assassin filing a brief last night. They argue he should not go on trial for murder. Here's the reason. They're arguing that much of the prosecution's case was based on hearsay testimony from Tyler Robinson's roommate. That's the case they're making. The apparent defense strategy here isn't to prove that Tyler Robinson didn't kill Charlie Kirk, but that he didn't intend to kill anyone else and that therefore this should not be a death penalty case.

Robinson's lawyers argued the state has failed to establish probable cause that the shooter knowingly created a great risk of death to another other than Charlie Kirk and himself. Exactly. That is a bombshell. To me, that's a bombshell. What stands out, so this just, you know as well as I do, this just dropped on us a couple hours ago as people noticed that this had been filed and started to read it. And what you look through, looking through it is it's what they don't say. So this is the defense's filing against probable cause. So remember, we had the week-long preliminary hearing.

All of this is just to establish probable cause. We'll have this hearing on September 1st, where the judge will hopefully finally rule. Do they have all the evidence to proceed to trial? So this is a 41-page document where they're laying out their case on a whole bunch of things. And here's what is almost entirely missing from it. is any effort to contest the court charge that Tyler Robinson committed murder on September 10th of last year. There is one page, basically one page out of 41 pages concerns that. They complain that they have testimony from Lance Twigs, which is what's used to support Robinson's confession, his posts on discord, and they say,

this is bolstered by hearsay because Lance Twigs didn't testify in court. The judge already ruled on this. he said since it's a preliminary hearing, he doesn't need to be cross-examined in person. They can do that at an actual trial. That is the only time they're addressing evidence of murder. After that, it's page after page all on either subsidiary crimes like witness tampering or they're just trying to throw out the death penalty because you can't get a death penalty for murder unless there are aggravating factors.

So in Utah, they've tried that he targeted Charlie over his political expression and they've tried that he endangered other people at the scene. He endangered minors at the scene based on there being a big crowd and he was firing at a long distance. That's the entirety of this briefing. So there's page after page where they're arguing, well, he was, like they literally argue at length. The shooters, the evidence shows the shooter was firing in a prone position. So that means he was taking care with his shot and aiming really cautiously. And so he was not really placing a lot of other people at risk. They're basically arguing the alleged shooter was a good shot, and so this aggravating factor should be thrown out. They argue at length, only one round was fired,

and they bring in all these other cases where they say, if you're going to say he endangered other people, there should have been other people who were hit. There should have been many rounds fired. They fuss over, yeah, there were multiple rounds in the gun, but that doesn't prove anything. It just proves the gun could fire more shots. It doesn't mean they plan to endanger other people. This is what the document focuses on. There is absolutely nothing addressing the core facts that dominated the preliminary hearing, that this is a person who basically allowed himself to, turned himself in after his parents confronted him, after they identified him from footage. This is a person who confessed to his roommate that he did this and that he regretted doing it. This is a person

caught repeatedly on camera, on the campus, when it's many hours away from where he lived, and they never, ever, ever address all of the DNA evidence linking him to the rifle, linking him to the screwdriver, linking him to the towel. They don't address those things because it seems that the defense attorneys don't have a defense to offer there. Yeah, and I just want to be really clear, and I checked with the attorneys this morning, they are not arguing against premeditated murder. And most people would assume that premeditated murder would warrant the death penalty.

Well, in the state of Utah, as Blake mentioned, you need aggravating factors. So what are those aggravating factors? That you could have endangered a minor. You could have endangered other people. That you did it because of political reasons. You know, think hate crime. They don't argue any of that stuff. They're basically saying, yeah, it was premeditated, but there was no aggravating factors.

And there were other bullets in the gun, but, you know, there's that that's a, that's assumption that he was intending to fire additional shots. It's pretty wild. So if other things that aren't in there though, Blake, just to call it the elephant in the room, are so many of the conspiracy theories that have been rife on social media, right? So for example, on page 22, one of the newest things that's percolating online from the Candace Owen's crowd is that that wasn't really Tyler Robinson in the surveillance video and that the fish eye effect, you know, when you actually adjust it for the fish eye effect. It's obviously somebody different than Tyler Robinson.

Well, it turns out with a fish eye effect, the center of the image is usually pretty accurate. It's the sides that get distorted. So if you stretch the image, you're actually distorting the center of the image at that point. Whatever. That's in the weeds. But check this out.

On page 22, it says, the video evidence shows Mr. Robinson walking up and downstairs at UVU with a gate impaired by something long in his pant leg. The reasonable inference from the evidence provided is that it was a folio. assembled rifle. So it goes on. The presence of a screwdriver on the roof does not establish that the rifle was taken apart and put back together any more than it establishes that the screwdriver was intended to take the rifle apart after. So they're there's quibbling over when

the rifle was put together or taken apart in the presence of a screw drive. They're not even arguing that he wasn't there. They're admitting that he was there and that the video evidence proves that he was there. So what's what's fascinating on multiple levels to me is there, yeah, the bombshell is the big E on the I chart, the headline is that they're not arguing that it wasn't him. They're arguing that he doesn't deserve the death penalty. Okay. In my mind, this is premeditated murder. He deserves the death penalty. Okay. And they're not arguing, though, that any of these conspiracy theories, they're not arguing from that perspective at all. As a matter of fact, there's other motions that have been filed that call that stuff hairbrain

internet conspiracy theories. So, you know, I just, there's so much to take away here, Blake, but you're right. It's the dog that didn't bark. There's, what's not in there is extraordinary, actually. If you're living in our existence here for me and Blake, all right, Blake, I got a note from Andrea Burkhart. She has got some family stuff, and that's great, so she wasn't able to join. but she says in short the defense brief is pretty much exactly what I predicted they'd argue i think the one witness tampering charge gets dropped but the aggravator sticks explain this witness tampering charge what it is and the the aggravators as well exactly so the witness tampering is one of the secondary charges that was brought in this case so obviously the most important one is capital

murder, but they did charge Robinson as well with witness tampering because in his text exchanges with Lance Twiggs prior to turning himself in, he told him basically stay silent. You should get a lawyer. Basically don't talk to police. And a secondary part of this is basically that when he tells him to get a lawyer, he's not telling, they basically say he's not telling him this. So to say, shut up, don't tell them what. I did, he basically is just saying, for your own sake, you should just not talk to police.

And they basically say, this is an altruistic argument. You can't charge someone with witness tampering for telling them to exercise their constitutional rights. And so I guess Andrea is saying they probably have a good point on that one. And it's admittedly not the charge that we care about either. They basically just says, but I think what stands out about this is by making this argument, they are admitting Tyler Robinson was talking to Lance Twiggs. They literally are quoting themselves.

They say he, Mr. Robinson says to Mr. Twiggs, I'm going to turn myself in willingly. One of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff. We hope to keep things sort of quiet here. I only hope they let you visit. And he says, I'm going to miss you. He says, like, I'm almost certainly going to go to prison. All of it.

Well, he says, Twiggs asks him, is there any way you don't go to prison? and he says, I highly doubt it. You are all I worry about my love. Don't talk to any media, please. Don't take any interviews or make comments. So he's basically saying, I am going to turn myself in. I'm going to prison, but you should avoid talking to anyone and get a lawyer and try to remain silent.

And so they just say that is advising him to use his rights. Doesn't count as witness tampering. And I guess Andrea thinks they make a strong argument. But she is optimistic that the enhancers will stick around, which are the, the endangerment of others and the political motivations for going after Charlie. And again, it stands out what they don't address, for example. I don't see anywhere in this document where they mentioned, for example, all the engravings that he made on his bullets, which are a strong indicator that he had a kind of political

motivation of it. They don't really address the fact that he says, you know, I've had enough of his hate, that he was upset by Charlie's political advocacy. They very much want to make it seem like he, I guess, just wanted to kill Charlie because he was a celebrity. He was a famous person. They need something like that because if there's any political aspect to this, the state of Utah is able to make the case. This is aggravated murder. It is eligible for the death penalty.

And I do want to clarify one important thing. Our glorious Supreme Court is who's responsible for why you need these aggravating factors. It used to be any murder by default is eligible. for the death penalty. Our glorious Supreme Court decades ago said, nope, you need these aggravating factors. But I do think it's worth highlighting here. Utah would have a lot easier time with this if they had a law, and I think every red state should have a law. If you are doing public terrorism, which I think this would easily qualify as, that should be an aggravating factor unto itself. It's insane to me that anyone could go to a big public event with a rifle, assassinate the speaker,

and have it not be aggravated murder. So that's food for thought. there, but I'm glad Andrea is optimistic that this charge will hold up. Yeah, and I mean, I'm just looking at these texts, you know, I'm going to turn myself in willingly. One of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff. We hope to keep things sort of quiet here. I only hope they let you visit. I'm going to miss you too. Please be good for me. If you need anything at all, both of my parents are willing to help you. Please go to them. Leave the room alone. The feds will search at top to bottom for certain, then work with my family to sort it out and what goes where and such. In response to Mr. Twiggs question, is there any way you don't go to prison?

You mentioned this. I highly doubt it. I will update you as soon as I can. If you need a place to stay, I'm sure my family would have you in my old room. You are all I worry about love. Don't talk to any media, please. Don't take any interviews or make comments. I will always love you too. I will write to you as often as possible. If any police ask you questions, ask for a lawyer and stay silent. Make sure the police follow the right procedures, proper warrants and stuff. be polite and respectful, of course. And then the defense says, these statements by Mr. Robinson

contextualize his altruistic advice to Mr. Twigs to exercise his right under the Fifth Amendment to ask for a lawyer and stay silent. The facts do not support state's allegation that this statement by Mr. Robinson was made with an intent to prevent an official proceeding or investigation. So it's all very interesting to see. I actually happen to agree with Andrea here based on the evidence presented that witness tampering doesn't feel like that's what he was doing. He was sort of, it seems like, resigned to the fact that he was going to be going to prison and that this was going to be a massive federal investigation and state investigation. So that makes sense. But your point about needing aggravating assaults, like, I'm still my

jaws a bit on the floor. And it took me a few minutes to kind of wrap my head around it, Blake, that they even have to prove aggravating factors here because he only premeditated one person and he was a good shot and shot over the heads of people not intentionally endangering. Senator, you've got a lot of news to get to today because you've got Fauci text messages and all this stuff, but I got to get your reaction to what happened last night. Hong did not win as many suspected she would. All the polling suggested

she would. And now we've got Crowley, who's going up against Tom Tiffany, who joins us at the top of the next hour, by the way. What do you make of it? Well, first of all, having run three statewide elections here in Wisconsin, I'll verify the fact that you can't trust the polls. I would have closed up shop a long time ago. I actually looked at them. So set the goes aside. I think, obviously, David Crowley will be a more formidable candidate opponent than Francesca Hong would have been. By the way, I take no joy in the rise of the socialism here in this country creating candidates that may be easier to beat. This is a very dangerous sign. But I think the concern in Wisconsin is that we continue to be out-polled or out-voted.

Democrats versus Republicans, we've just been wiped out in these mid-term. or non-general election, spring election, Supreme Court races by a couple hundred thousand votes. That was the same pattern last night. Now, we didn't have a real primary for the governorship, but Tiffany had that wrapped up. But we had about 500,000 Republicans come out last night. 700,000 Democrats came out.

So that's worrisome. And I think that's a concern across the nation. President Trump's not on the ballot, so his supporters aren't coming out and going to vote for him. he needs to energize them to come out and vote for Republicans. We may not be perfect, but the Democrats are orders of magnitude worse than Republicans, and we need to feed these people. We cannot allow this rise of socialism to continue.

Yeah, I mean, I think that's a really interesting question. It kind of puts us in a weird place as conservatives where you, if you look at social media last night, there was a lot of people that were almost pulling for Hong to win because that they thought might favor Tom Tiffany. but you don't want a radical Thanksgiving-hating, you know, Senate-abolishing DSA member to be nominated. That's what's worse, right? You know, obviously both candidates Crowley and Hong are going to be orders of magnitude worse than the conservative. But it is kind of one of those things.

I mean, I think, you know, Harry Sabado's crystal ball went from toss up or lean conservative to now lean Democrat. just because the, I guess, the more establishment candidate won last night, what do you think needs to happen between now and November to increase our chances that Tom Tiffany gets over the finish line? You know the state better than anybody, Senator. Well, again, I think there's one person who can re-energize our base, that's President Trump. Republicans, we need to stop the circular firing squad. I know it's occurring right now. Senate recess, we've got a lot of candidates. They've got tough races.

They want to get back and start doing some campaigns. meaning there was nothing we were going to accomplish in August anyway. Please, if you're a conservative Republican, don't hold it against Republicans for not passing the Save America Act. We all wanted it. There were a couple who had some issues with the full Save America Act, but we all voted for voter ID as we left town. 53 of us voted for that or 52 Mitch McConnell didn't vote.

The reason we don't have voter integrity laws, the reason we couldn't pass Save America Act or even say that is because Democrats. who are opposed to every election integrity measure but perform because they want to make it easy to cheat because that's the way they think they can turn this America into a one-party nation, a socialist, a communist nation. They're the opponent. Again, I'm not saying Republicans are perfect.

I've got a lot of bones to pick with a lot of my colleagues, but we are so much better. We actually believe in freedom. We believe in a limited government. We believe in a free enterprise system. We reject socialism and communism. the direction of Democrats are taking us. Yeah, I mean, I, Senator, you know, I know you've got a lot of different things you've got to

deal with with your Senate colleagues. I wish we would have stayed in D.C. done the talking filibuster like Mike Lee wanted or whatever, passive reconciliation package with the Save America Act passed. Whatever campaigning or fundraising the senators are doing in these tough elections, I just think it pales in comparison to actually getting something done. Let me stop you. Let me stop you. none of those things would have passed. Again, you have to understand. The talking filibuster would not work because we don't have a two-speech rule. When I met with Mike Lee, with the parliamentarian, found out,

oh, no, the two speech rules by the wayside. Robert Byrd ended that when he said, changed the Senate rules where you can offer unlimited amendments. So an amendment doesn't count a speech. So there was no way you could use a talking filibuster to get to the question, to call the question, as a majority vote. I recognize that reality. Unfortunately,

unfortunately, that reality hasn't caught up with a lot of our supporters. But there was no way to pass Save America Act with the talking filibuster. There's no way you could sit there and pressure Democrats to vote for it

wouldn't happen. Again, that's why I supported any of the filibuster. But understand my colleagues and probably half the conference does not want him the filibuster. I don't want to end the filibuster when Democrats are in charge.

So that's the danger in any of the filibuster. I think they'll do it anyone. a lot of my colleagues don't believe that. But trust me, if we were to end the filibuster and Democrats get in charge, we would wish we'd have had that filibuster back. So again, that's a legitimate point of view. But again, please, there's, we would not have passed Save America Act. We wouldn't have passed a reconciliation bill in this thing.

So again, God understand reality. I totally support it. And by the way, I talked to the president. You agreed. No, let's go. Let's take our time and do a much better reconciliation package. put whatever election integrity measures we can do that, you know, put into that, you know, have more money for the members of our military who are in harm's way, but try and come up with

pay for us, you know, so we're not totally exploding our deficit. So again, I wasn't that nuts about the House Pass package. So let's do a far better one. And that's going to take some time. Okay, fair enough. So I didn't expect to spend so much time on this. I do actually want to get to the Fauci stuff. But as far as a reconciliation package, If we can get it through there, if it could pass the bird bath, that sounds amazing. What would be the timing for that? Can you pass that? I think you got like two weeks when you get back?

Well, first of all, any election integrity measures we could pass, they're not going to take impact or take effects for this election. We're talking about for 2028. Right. So at this point, there's no rush. We would have had to do that back in January, February, March. That time has passed. In terms of getting something done before this election, it's going to be tough.

but I would much rather take our time, you know, make sure that we have the committees instructed, and this is getting to budget walkishness, but we need the committees that actually have pay-for us in them so we can address the massive fraud in Medicaid, in these other areas. And the skinny package, we're not instructed those committees, so we wouldn't have had the adequate pay-for us.

So now we can take our time. We can make our case. As budget chair, I'm going to be holding hearings on the reality of the fraud in Medicaid, the fraud in Medicare, quite honestly, the fraud in Social Security. We need to stamp that out. And I think the highest estimate that I've heard is a trillion dollars per year of fraud. The lowest is like $250 billion. That'll take some congressional action to make sure we eliminate that. Senator, when you mentioned it's going to be tough to get it done before this election.

I mean, if you're looking at the polling, if you're looking at the generic ballots, getting it done before this election feels pretty important. I mean, isn't that kind of the deadline here? Or do you think of again, you're looking at legislation passed by the federal government to improve people's lives? I don't have faith in the federal government that way. I think we need to reduce the size, scope, and cost government. We're not talking about that in terms of reconciliation. So this is a long-term project.

There's not much we can do in terms of. in terms of affordability. I mean, let's just be honest. I'm a blunt person, okay? The war in Iran has driven up the cost of energy, even though President Trump had the right formula, drill baby drill. We were bringing down the cost of gasoline

until he had to take out the existential threat that Iran was. That's the reality. We need to explain that. The problem of the reason other things aren't affordable is because we've been in a chronic debt crisis now for decades, running these massive deficits. Totally.

Devalued our currency. Do you realize a dollar you held in 1998 is only worth 50 cents. A value held in 2019 is worth less than 80 cents. That is permanent devaluation. So again, when I was in business, I always like to under promise and over-deliver. What drives me nuts about politicians over-promising what they can't deliver. So let's be honest about these things. There's not much we can do before election day to improve affordability. What we can do is got to get out and talk to our constituents and let them know socialism has never worked. The solution here is reducing the size scope of cost of government.

It's influence in your lives. The debt and the deficit. You know, rely on a free enterprise system that incentivizes people to build businesses and create good-paying jobs. Again, it's not necessarily an easy case to make when you have an education system, cranking out a bunch of socialist, communist, communist, radical leftists when you have a legacy news meeting who's spouting that same crap as well. So again, it's not an easy task for republicans there's not some magic silver bullet that oh yeah we're going to stay in washington dc pass more laws that they're going to prove no we pass way too many laws in wisconsin dc and again democrats will never agree to vote for election integrity laws they just won't do it without eliminated

filibuster we're not going to be able to be able to do that well where we have very strong agreement uh senator johnson the great senator johnson by the way is when it comes to deficit spending If you want to talk about why inflation, why things are expensive, why people are feeling the pinch, a huge driver of that is deficit spending. We're running $2 trillion deficits. And I'm reminded now, Senator, of you coming on the show throughout the years and being, you know, one of the holdouts on the big, beautiful bill, because you were upset. There wasn't more, you know, spending cuts in. So I, you've been very, very consistent on that. And I think you're completely right. I bring it up often. But Milton Friedman says the only place inflation comes from is Washington, D.C., because only Washington, D.C.,

a printing press for money. All right. They're the ones that make the green dollars. They print it trillions of dollars of deficits every year. And that is actually a huge driver of this. COVID, etc. All right. Senator, you are all over the news this week. And you've been doing great work. You and Senator Rampal truly leading the charge. There's text messages that everybody's talking about. Now, Blake, why don't you set it up and we'll have Senator Johnson respond? Exactly. So you guys, you've been releasing literally thousands upon thousands of Fauci text messages. And God bless you for doing that. And we finally got a big one.

A lot of people have wondered, did that miscarriage I had in 2021, 2021, after I had to get the shot? Could that have been related? And there was so much pressure from the media, from Fauci, there's no risk. We've seen nothing. And now we see, we see at least in private, he was a lot more circumspect. about what things were what the reality was we have a message he said since many people have significant cytokine storms and fever after the second dose of the shot this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the first trimester and then the people he was talking to

wilensky and murthy they agree they said good point what are we what are we learning here senator first of all just to correct there been a couple thousand pages of his diary released we just got his phone late last week we're able to download that to searchable forms and then my staff started looking at some key dates and they pulled this needle out of the haystack which i thought we better get into the public realm as soon as possible because it impacts public health it impacts informed consent if i'm a woman who's about to get pregnant or pregnant i'd want to know that anthony fouchy apparently had knowledge i've never seen this i've covered this or watch this very closely i never knew that they had information that you had higher cytokine storms after the second dose.

Brand new information to me, and of course with fever, that could impact theoretically miscarriages in the first trimester. Now, this was, he's talking about this a little more than a month after the emergency use authorization. Veyers is already being deluged with adverse events, which they're all ignoring. So I appreciate the fact that now this has made news because it's associated. with Fauci, but an even more egregious example of the federal health officials knowing the danger

of these shots and saying nothing about it was. But a month later, Peter Marks had an FDA division that approves vaccines and supposed to surveil for safety was warned that his algorithm would hide safety signals. 26 days later using a new algorithm, he was shown dozens of safety signals, including sudden cardiac death, pulmonary infarction, which by the way, Fauci suffered from them,

in June of 2021, different types of strokes. And they buried it. To this day, they're not acknowledging it. So people like Fauci, Peter Marks, Tom Shimikura, the very people who are supposed to be watching these things and warning doctors, practitioners, the public, if they were watching it, they sure weren't telling us. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

This is just one small little threat of evidence that Anthony Fauci knew more. And he did not carry out his responsibility of war. the American public about what he knew, what he feared, what he was hypothesizing. I think this is really infuriating on so many levels, but it's because it's about children, too, right? Pregnant women, this is a tweet from Megan McCain, 218. She says, put Fauci in jail. I am a woman who was pregnant and had a miscarriage during COVID. She goes on to say, this is not hyperbole, handcuffed, perp walk, and put Fauci in jail for the rest of his life.

Now, whether or not you could do any of that stuff is not the question. The anger that she is expressing, I can't imagine being forced to have to take the shot, to keep my job, to do what I had to do, to be in the military, for goodness sake, have a miscarriage and now find out on the back end that they were aware that this was a real threat. My question to you is, in any public statements following this text thread that you've released, Did Dr. Fauci admit to this? Did he hint about it? Did he acknowledge that this was things they were looking into?

Anything. No, instead, he said there are no red flags. He says, we're not seeing safety signals. No, they were being shown the red flags. They were being shown the safety signals. They were screaming at them. Again, Vairs was overwhelmed. The contract that they hired to input reports to Vairs,

they said the worst case scenario was a thousand adverse events a day. They were getting tens of thousands. thousands. The VAIRS was overwhelmed. We got about a million adverse events in the first year in 2021. So again, what is so infuri about this, I've had Dr. James Thorpe. He's an OBGYN practicing for, I think, 40 years. He was seeing this.

I've had him testify at my public events at a hearing. The mainstream media doesn't cover it. So that's what's so frustrating to me is. I've been putting this out now for years. I've been warning the public for years. I've been called a whack job. job. You know, I'm anti-vaxxas, supposedly. You know, I'm a villain. I've been ridiculed. But only once Fauci, once it came from his text, the mainstream media was forced to cover it.

By the way, the way they're covering it is they're covering up for him. You know, I'm listening to the Wall Street Journal article on this. Well, this is exactly what Fauci who should have done. He's hypothesizing. He's doing what any scientists would do. No, what a public health official should have done is, yeah, hypothesized, take a look at these things, but then warn the public. Don't keep it to yourself and don't lie, bold face the public that we're just not seeing your red flags. We see no safety signals. They were shown dozens of safety signals within months of the emergency use authorization well before the injection was finally approved, well before it was mandated to the members of our military, mandated to many other people used to coerce people, including children who,

By the way, now we know that FD is acknowledging children through autopsies died of the injection. Where's that on the mainstream news media? So again, I hold the media as culpable as I hold Fauci and all these other federal officials that lied to the American public. The news media, they had access to this. They just wouldn't ask. They covered for them all this time. They're still covering for them. Well, Senator Ron Johnson, I echo what Blake said.

runaway win last night. I think it's fair to say it was barely contested, but you got 96%, almost 96% of the vote last night. So we'll start there and then we'll turn our attention to what you have next. Here it is. 467,000 votes for Congressman Tom Tiffany. He's the Trump endorse candidate in Wisconsin. And obviously, Blake, all eyes were turned to the Democrat side of the ledger where David Crowley wins in unexpected fashion eking out a victory over Francesca Hong. So you won an overwhelming fashion last night. Tell us your takeaways from last night and then we'll turn our attention to the Democrat side of the ledger. So just so grateful for the support of people across the state of Wisconsin to be our nominee. We started nearly a year ago on this. I'm just,

quest to bring affordability and accountability to state government. And so we're done with the first step here. And now we move to the real show. And we're really looking forward to it as we bring this message of common sense to people across the state of Wisconsin. And we turn Wisconsin red in November. Amen. You know, we just had Senator Ron Johnson and he said, never believed the polls. Okay. He said he would have packed it up a long time ago if he was just looking at the polling in Wisconsin. It is a notoriously difficult state to poll. That is true. But man, I mean, Francesca Hong was way ahead on the Democrat side for that primary. And lo and behold, David Crowley eeks out a, I guess, a 0.5% victory. So the DSA candidate has been defeated.

David Crowley is now your opponent. What do you make of what just happened on the Democrat side of the ledger? Because, you know, Wisconsin, yeah, It's a toss-up state. It's a purple state. But they almost elected a DSA candidate to represent them for governor. That didn't happen, but man, it was close. What are your takeaways? Yeah, so the Democrat Party has capitulated to big government socialism here across America,

including here in Wisconsin. And make no doubt about it, the Democrat establishment, they put their thumb on the scale in this election. They did not want Francesca Hall. who was telling the truth about their policies. And in fact, the man that won, David Crowley, he said two weeks ago that he's basically in alignment with all of her policies. Make no doubt about it.

This is where Democrats are at this point. Some of them still don't want to say it out loud. Give Francesca a hung credit for that much. She told people the truth. People are going to find out that there's nothing moderate about David Crowley. Yeah, well, and you mentioned they put their thumb on the scale. I think a lot of us are wondering what the heck happened. I mean, we have become accustomed to Milwaukee and Detroit, among other cities,

pulling some shenanigans. Last night there was something. I want to ask you if you're worried about this when it comes to the general in November, SOT 16. I guess the exact thing, yes, is if five of the USB sticks were missing results from the election, so then they have to go try to re-grab them. Yeah. And all the folks behind the scenes are talking about this as well. Okay, so they said it was due to human error and that there was nothing to see here.

Are you guys hearing any intel about what happened here? Do you feel satisfied with the explanation? I haven't gotten any intel, but you could see even Steve Karnacki was really frustrated by what was going on and going, what the heck is happening in Milwaukee. We're focused on November and making sure that we. turn out people because we've seen it before you right um you alluded to senator ron johnson uh he's won twice in the last decade here and he's done it by having clear contrast and we take our clues from people like him who know how to campaign in wisconsin to deliver that clear

contrast between crazy and common sense and make no doubt about it my opponent i mean he's a big spending liberal. When they ran a budget deficit in Milwaukee County with him as their executive, how did he fix it? He raised their taxes. I mean, he even allowed 5,000 county public employees health insurance to expire at the end of 2025. He couldn't do a fundamental part of his job. And he said that my policies are going to be very similar to Francesca Hong. We are going to get big government socialism out of him. Yeah, I mean, I think you're totally right. I'm starting to see that these are distinctions without a real difference, you know, whether it's the establishment dem or the DSA candidate. It seems like the entire party is beholden to the radical base of the party. And I think we can't make

that point enough. And, you know, I think just calling them socialist is probably not the winning messaging, but to highlight concrete policy differences that you have with your opponent is the key. You have to bring it home, that this is going to raise taxes, this is going to be big government, this is going to be authoritarian tyranny in so many different ways in places in your life that you're not currently expecting. Why don't you take the last two minutes here, Congressman, and explain what your vision for the state of Wisconsin is? You know, I especially think about your audience and so many young people out there that they're deciding where am I, where is my political philosophy at this point? And that's why I call it big government socialism, because

it will do great harm to America. And I just say to young people, keep your faith in America. America's went through rocky times before. And you know, we have this inflation, high cost of living, those type of things that are going on right now. You go back to the fundamentals. And that is, don't turn more control of your life over to government because they're just going to raise your taxes, have more regulations in red tape, and you're not going to be able to afford a home. Go back to the fundamentals. And that's what I'm doing. return money to the taxpayers. We're going to end the 400-year property tax increase. We're going to stop these massive increases in utility rates over $2 billion in the last eight years. We're going to

make Wisconsin more affordable. And that's how we become prosperous. And that's how you're going to be able to buy a new home because that's something we are so focused on. We want young people to have home ownership that's affordable once again. And that's reducing red tape, reducing taxes, and making sure that you have enough money at the end of the month that you can afford a mortgage and the American dream, which a big part of it is to own a home. Yeah, and that was really Charlie's vision too, Congressman. It was we want young people to be able to get married, to have kids, to own homes. If you want radical politics, you just tell a bunch of young people, Gen Z, that they're just going to rent and they're going to be happy. You will own nothing and you will be happy.

If that's what you want, then you'll have a whole generation that doesn't have skin in the game. and they'll vote for the socials. They'll vote for the DSA candidate happily. So I want to talk about this polling miss, which is legitimately historic throw up 224. This was the Wisconsin Governor Democrat primary polling. And you got basically hung up the most recent poll, Blake, has hung up 18. Marquette, hung up 22. PPP, hung up 20. Impact research. Hong up 13. Marquette, up 11. And yet she lost this race. Now, two things are true at the same time. I believe in my gut, again, this is where, you know, that you get accused of conspiracy theories. I believe there are shenanigans in the state of Wisconsin, whether it be Milwaukee or Dane County,

which is where the university is. Or, and rather, you also have, she had terrible press for the last two weeks. There's no doubt. I mean, coming out against Thanksgiving is a wild thing, you know, that doesn't, that's not really a popular position. We often, we're obviously, thankfully, not mayor. marinating in the left at all times. We have to remember they have their own universe of forums and discussion threads and everything and I see a little bit of it on X, like they were freaking out. They're worrying, is this woman actually going to mess up the entire midterm for us?

Because even if they're not big lovers of America and Thanksgiving, they are at least a little bit aware of political facts that this is not something that's going to play well with people. and I just think I think it went viral within Democrat circles of what are we getting into? Are we serious here? Don't mess this up. And I think a lot of rank and file Democrats, they're radicalized. They hate Trump. And that makes them actually kind of efficiency minded about this sort of thing.

They're not going to take a lark on an extremist when all that matters is winning to them. Yeah. And I agree. Here's the deal, though. I mean, you've got Hassan Piker out there that is cozing up to. El-Sayed. That was a squeaker, too. I do believe the establishment wanted to beat El-Sayed. They failed in that, but they were successful with Hong because she was the worst candidate. I mean, say what you will about El-Sahed. He is an extremist, but he is pretty suave,

it's well-spoken. He is way more adept at being flexible and responding to the criticisms than Francesca Hong was. Hong literally had mental illness issues. She came out, like I said, against Thanksgiving. She's come out in favor of abolishing the Senate. So I do think you're right that a lot of, even Bernie Sanders, by the way, wouldn't get behind her, said, I don't really know that race very well, which was, you know, Comrade Sanders version of I don't like her that much and I don't want to be tied to her. So the point is you're right, but it is also interesting if you look at, so for example, Greg Price, friend of the show, he said, Francesca Hong, this is 225, says Francesca Hong, somehow woefully underperforming in Madison, but massively overperforming in Milwaukee.

So that is an interesting, it's completely bizarre. It's a totally fair, you know, view of what happened last night. And there was a lot of people that were texting me saying the establishment is up to it again. They still in the driver's seat. They still run these elections. The unions are still in their pocket. They are doing shenanigans here to make sure that Hong doesn't get across the finish line. Now, the opponent, Crowley, nobody had even heard of this guy outside of Wisconsin, really.

I mean, you heard Tom Tiffany talking about him. He's very well aware of his past and his past failures. Guy sounds like an incompetent buffoon who's going to run the state to the ground, can't, you know, run his car, let alone a whole state. So that's fine, but they would prefer him over this total radical. Now, let's also talk about Hassan Piker, because there is a clip going around. Hassan Piker got behind Francesca Honk. There's a clip going viral again where Charlie debated with Hassan Piker back in like 2018, right? What's the clip number, guys? I've somehow lost it.

Give me that clip number. But I remember this. I was there when this happened when Hassan Piker and Charlie talked about it. And Charlie took him to task basically saying, hey, listen, guys, this guy wants. We should. No, it's not the, anyways, we have a clip. I'm not sure that we have the right clip because there's multiple viral clips from that moment. But Charlie takes him to task saying you want to instill a system which will rob from producers and rob from us who work really hard. And, you know, yeah, this is the clip. I think it's great. Anyways, if the team doesn't have it, that's fine. But then now we find out, Blake, that Hassam Piker is living in. a $2.5 million house in West Hollywood. So this is a guy that thinks we deserve 9-11. He wants to take down the American Empire,

wants to kill Rick Scott, wants to see Capitol's blood in the streets. He wants to impoverce the white working class and middle class. He thinks that's a based, epic goal. And all of this is happening while this guy's living in a $2.5 million house in West Hollywood. And he says, that's fine as long as you don't accumulate wealth. Well, what is accumulating wealth other than, you know, saving your money and buying assets like Hassan Piker is doing.

The guy's a complete hypocrite. I guess his real critique is you don't build businesses where you actually produce a product and produce value for culture. I mean, there's just nothing. I mean, nothing is surprising here. This is the oldest story of leftism in the book. And it goes along with the resentful lower elites. They can dress this up in a lot of rhetoric about equality, about wanting to uplift the masses.

But what's really going on here is a lot of people. who are angry that they aren't more prominent, angry that they aren't more famous, are angry that they aren't more well compensated, I should be in charge. And once they can get the opportunity to be in charge, whether it's literally holding power or just building up a giant pile of wealth, they're going to seize it, and they will find ways to justify it. because he was talking about it he came back He went to this event. It was a roofers convention. So small businesses that employ a lot of migrant labor. And he was just, he was blown away because he said, all of these guys, they would, they would stand up and they would say, we love you on 99% of issues except Charlie. Is there a way we could maybe get amnesty for our workers? Could we maybe send them home and then bring them right back? And we're all, we need these migrant workers. We need mass immigration to make our businesses work. And we were reminded. of it because we were talking the other day, Andrew, that article, will Americans accept a more expensive burrito to have a country, to have a border? And Charlie's takeaway at that event, and it was very frustrating to him was an awful lot of people won't. They will not bite the bullet of paying slightly more to get a worker. Literally some of them were saying, I don't think we can get a white guy to work on a roof, but we have a lot of clips here. Let's get into them. Yeah. Let's go ahead and start with Sat 2.

allowed 12 million people in a span of four years to flood into the country, right, from a hundred different countries. If we do not go to dramatic measures to fix it, then we're not a, we're not a nation. We're something completely else. have me tell you how I hear it. Are you telling me everyone in this room is hiring illegal labor? Not everyone, but I know I haven't in the past. Okay, so everyone is saying yes. And again, you guys can boom me off stage, and I want to respectfully have it. And if I'm wrong, come to the mic. So is everyone here in this room committing a felony? Yes.

And it shows how much, how valuable his leadership was that he's going to, he is such a charismatic guy, such a capable guy that he could go into that lion's den. We've had infinity Republicans who would go up on that stage and these businesses would all line up and say, we need the migrant labor. We need the lower wage cost.

This isn't going to work. And they'll get weak in the knees. they'll start going, well, you know, we really do want to help our businesses. We want to find a way to work this out. One thing leads to another, and you have a Utah senator proposing, you know, a new visa category to bring in migrant laborers to Utah. Digny.Dade Act. Exactly. Digny. Dot Act. That's how you get. Instead, Charlie says, he says, I hear you guys, but here's the real truth. We voted for deportations. And there's other parts that we don't have time to hit now. He's pointing out the loss we had in this country that no one wants to work a summer job anymore. No one's working with their hands as a young person. And that even if they don't end up being a full-time manual labor,

that gives them the understanding, the real brass hacks of business that they can use to be an entrepreneur in other ways. Charlie had the ability to stand up there and say, you guys are committing crimes. You should stop relying on committing crimes. He was such a capable voice. It's amazing. We need people to be stepping up and saying, you guys need to make sacrifices for this country. your point is so well made. The difference between Charlie Kirk and so many other conservatives is he stood on that stage and said, you can boo me all you want, you guys are committing

felonies and you're not willing to sacrifice to get our sovereignty back, where every other conservative that I've seen, not every, but almost all of them, gets weak in the knees, they bend, they cow, and they say, let's, let's import more third worlders.
