And this guy's like, hey like which one of you's the leader like he's trying to talk to me because I think I'm on the outskirts like I'm the only one he can reach and I was like what and he told me he's like I was like we don't want to talk to you we don't want to talk to you I just turn my back and he's like I'm just trying to talk to I was like ah we don't want to talk to you yeah period he goes around starts talking to one of the girls and she's even more rude to him hilarious uh-huh comes back tail between the legs right and he's like I don't know what you got a problem is I'm just trying to

talk to you. And then I go, hey, what did I say? I told you they didn't want to talk, right? And he, like, didn't believe me because I didn't ask them. But I'm like, you're in your 50s and you're wearing a puffer vest. They don't want to talk to you. I don't need to ask her if she's interested. You know what I mean? Just know. Learn. this TikTok celebrating sports agent Nicole Lynn as a trailblazer in the industry for being the first black woman to wrap a first round pick and the third woman to wrap a first round pick. Men in the comments were not happy. She was getting this shut up, obviously. Football. What do you know about football?

Oh my God. It's like it's giving similar to soccer, which is like a big sport in Germany. Yeah. But I feel like fans are even like more intense. Oh yeah, girl. But yeah. They get a grown man's name on a jersey a different grown man's name, put it on their back. Walk around.

Like, it means something, I don't know. I compared them once to fan girls. I'm like, it's the same shit. Like, they come out and you scream, same shit. Yeah. You buy the merch. Same thing. It's like, you're literally a fan girl.

I've never seen so many men angry at me. They were like, I'm not a fricking fan girl. Hey, man. You don't got to convince me. Yeah. You're the one with another grown man on a poster on your wall. Straight up. Listen.

Okay. I think it's the obsession it borders like they can't tell if they want to be them or be with them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Is it racist? If you have to ask, it is. I think if you have to ask, the answer is yes. But I also think this is because it's like the first ever, and there's been hundreds before that were white. Yeah. I mean, I think it's pick a battle, I guess. Yeah, that's a strange question to ask.

Yeah, oh my God. It's so bad. It's such a strange question asked. They're like, why haven't they done? I mean, you mean the hundreds of years before, I guess. I'm sure you could find someone talked about it at least once. Yeah. I don't know.

I don't know much about that, but this one says, is this why the team sucks? I'm assuming because it's a woman who represents a male athlete. Believe it or not, she's. not out there playing. Yeah. So, straight up. Men hate to hear about women liking literally anything at all. Because sometimes women are like, because I used to work in football.

I used to work in sports. Oh, maybe. Sometimes people are like, oh, like, you know, when they ask about, oh, did you love football? Like, I'm like, yeah, I mean, yeah, to an extent. I mean, I didn't make it my whole personality, but I did, yeah, I really like and enjoy football. Yeah. And I think that women think, you know, when you're working out your internalized misogyny, a lot of times you're like, did I even really like football?

Like, that's how I felt. I'm like, did I like it or did I like that? I was like one of the few women who liked it. Yeah. Which is something I had to unpack in therapy. But I think that it's important to unpack stuff like that because I think your interests, a lot of times are influenced by the patriarchy, even if you don't think they are. For sure.

But sometimes you're so far removed from the male gaze. Like now I think as an adult, I'm so far removed from the male gaze. And I'm like, oh, I like football because I like football. I don't love it, but I like it. I think that's awesome. I think, I think too, if women, men are going to make fun of women, no matter what they like. So you might as well like anything. Yeah.

Whatever you want to like like it. Totally. They're going to be pissed off no matter what. They're going to be pissed off if you like football. If you like Kim Petch's, they're going to be pissed off no matter what. Yeah, literally. Get mad. They hate when you like Kim Petrie.

What I talk about too, like I'm someone, right? So like I'm indigenous Pacific Islander. Yeah. My culture never adhered to a gender binary prior to being colonized. So we've always had a third gender for people who didn't adhere to either one. Yeah, that's awesome. very normal. Like before, many indigenous cultures had that. Many cultures in general had that. So the fact that they're like, it's always been boy, girl. That's just simply not true.

Like it's just like literally like historically, culturally speaking, it's not true. Yeah. So it's so void. I'm like, are you talking about like your own personal experience? You've never met a trans person? That doesn't mean they've never existed. Like, I mean, me personally, I've never met Tom Brady. I'm assuming he's real. I've never met him. How am I to know? Never seen him in real life.

Sam. How do I know if he's real? How about you guys just made him up? I doubt it. How about that? No. I've never met him, so I don't know. Yeah, I guess he doesn't exist.

Yeah, I think it's interesting. I think some people, like, really just lack basic empathy for anyone and really don't care about anyone's, like, life experience. Like, I'm always really interested in other people's lives. Whenever I meet someone who has had a different experience than me, which I, you know, a lot of people, I'm interested in them and in their culture and like what, you know, what their life is like.

I would learn. Yeah. Like, and I just feel like it's so sad that some people just like would rather not learn because it makes them, totally, because it makes them doubt themselves too. I feel like a lot of, you know, honestly, guys have never dealt with themselves and what their own gender. and like that gender you know doesn't have to be so intense and they just live in this bubble that it's like I'm a man so I'm like this and it's like fucking sad yeah what a sad colorless life to leave I know like I love people me too love learning about other experiences and like interested and empathetic towards people that's cool to me I don't want to learn about everyone and you know and just like it's so not cool to be that It also costs you nothing.

Yeah. It costs you zero dollars to be like, well, I haven't had that life experience, but I respect your right to have the life experience. Just like respect everyone. Yeah. It's okay. It's like so easy. It costs you nothing. Yeah.

Isn't that crazy? And they can also have guns.

Well, I think in general, I know it's a really stressful time and it can be very overwhelming seeing what's happening in the U.S. And it is devastating and really intense and truly like an all-time worst, but just know that there's like a whole community.

who loves you and accepts you and that sees you as so much more as just transgender. You're a person and you deserve to be happy and people that judge how you find happiness suck. And that's what this podcast is about.
