Starting point is 00:00:00 I think it's better if they just acknowledge, like they know that they're a good-looking person, but it's not really a big part of their personality. Okay, yeah. You know what I mean? That's literally like body neutrality, but for men. Like, you should just know that you're like that. Like neutrality.
Starting point is 00:00:13 You want to welcome back to another episode of the comment section show. Sorry, me, your favorite, everybody knows me, who cares about me. On to the guests. Today we have two iconic, legendary, hilarious sisters, the one, the only, Curson and Erica Titis. Wow.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Wow, that was an audience. A cheerful welcome. Welcome to the show, ladies. Oh my gosh, we're so happy to be here. Thank you for welcoming us. Oh my gosh, of course. Anything for y'all. My two local kind.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Local kind baddies. Speaking of local kind baddies. Yes. We have some local kind omialgi for you. Oh my God. This is like some of our friends like favorites. Yay. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Chocolate covered pineapple gummy bears. For me and not you. Yeah. Oh, I know an 808 stamp when I see it, bitch. I know. I wish we knew that the whole group. was going to be here because we would have not. No, they don't deserve it. Only me. It's okay. Only me. It's okay. It's okay just for me. Thank you guys. Oh my gosh. I'm so excited about this.
Starting point is 00:01:16 And I also love Island Princess. I've had that before. Oh, yay. Look at me. It's so good. It's period. It's literally from Mama Titus though, even more from us. Oh, my gosh, you have to give these to Oh my God. Your mom loves me too. Yes. Oh, God. What about your brother? Does your brother love me? Yes. Of course. What about your dad? My dad doesn't. I was like he doesn't go online. But I'm sure he did. But I'm sure. But I'm sure if he did. Now that you mention it, I've actually never thought about that collab. Let's get dad caught up.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Let's get dad caught up. Yeah. On my lord. I don't even think our dad knows that we're here right now. No, he definitely doesn't. My dad's the same. He's kind of one. He just kind of knows what I tell him.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Yeah, exactly. Outside of that, he's cool. Yeah, exactly. He doesn't care otherwise. But I'm excited to have you both here. We've all, we've been moots for years. We have. We have been.
Starting point is 00:02:01 We have been. We have been mutuals for years. We've been trying to meet up. And I'm glad to finally have you both. Let's do. I want to talk about, like, lore first, just for those, the two people that may be unfamiliar for how you guys got on TikTok in the first place. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Like, whichever order you guys pick. I think it started with her. She paved the way. So you would tell your story first. Well, actually, so Erica was always a little bit, had a little bit of TikTok following going on. Like in high school, like, I don't know. I don't really know. I think every high school.
Starting point is 00:02:35 It was like really popping off during when I was in high school. So I think everybody just kind of had followers on TikTok, but like not a lot. So she was the OG TikToker and also she was known for being aesthetic. So that was like her thing. Okay. So let's start there. So I, so that was it. But I was always telling you're like, girl, like you kind of have a following.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I was like, you gotta post more. Yeah. Come on, do something. And I had an iPhone 6. I was like, my phone can't even download TikTok. I can't even download TikTok. I have this brick. It doesn't even work.
Starting point is 00:02:59 You have this brick, 16 gigabytes. Yeah, for real. TikTok, that's the whole thing. You said my storage is full constantly. When I tried to go on Instagram.com or Instagram the app, I had to go on Instagram.com. That's how I logged in. She would take photos on my phone.
Starting point is 00:03:09 On Safari. Yeah. On Safari. Period. Anyway, but I finally, my phone broke, the iPhone 6 broke. And then I had to get an iPhone 10, as you do, right? Right, right, right. Huge jump, because that's how old my phone was.
Starting point is 00:03:21 You have to, yeah. Right? And then I was like, oh, my God, I can download TikTok. So I download TikTok and I'm like, whoa. There's so many things on this app. Oh, although my following did start with a man, though, Drew. Oh, no. It started with a man.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Bummer. It did. It did. Oh, damn. It did. Like a man in your life? No. Just a man?
Starting point is 00:03:42 Just a man. It's a random guy. Worse. Anyway. That part. So basically, I saw this guy on TikTok, and I was like, whoa, he's like really cute. And so I made a TikTok about him, just about how cute he was. And then he saw the TikTok, and he commented on it.
Starting point is 00:04:01 And then a bunch of people wanted us to date. and then that's literally how it happened. Damn. And I'm assuming didn't work out. You know, with me? Like, me? No. We can blame him.
Starting point is 00:04:12 He's not here. Yeah, he's not here. We can blame him. Sure. It's his fault, sure. Yeah. I deem it so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Right. Okay, but then you kept making your own content. Yes, yes. Yeah, even after the fact. Yeah, because I was like, oh my gosh, people are interested. Yeah. I was like, I'm just going to make so many videos. And then I started making a ton of videos and then in videos with Erica, too.
Starting point is 00:04:32 and I feel like that's what really launch the TikTok career. But I also feel like Erica, aside from that, has very much made her own content and paved her own way, which I think is so cool. Yeah, you both have very different arcs, I think, on TikTok, which I think is beautiful. It's like me and my sister. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:04:48 My sister started making content too after me, but I was kind of similar to you in that I was like encouraging her to do it. Yeah. At the same time I was doing it because I was like, dude, you're just as funny. Like you can do the same stuff. And like if you just start doing it. And then I did it for a while and then she's like, okay, fine. But hers is very different for mine.
Starting point is 00:05:07 So I think that's a beautiful thing between the two of you. What about you, Erica, when you started? Well, nepotism. Yeah. That's what my sister called it too. No, that's literally what it is, though. I'm like, it's a beautiful thing. White people have it.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Let's take it too. We can do it too. We can. Exactly. So she paved the way she, with her man on TikTok and that worked out, despite the fact that it didn't, but it did. Honestly, it worked out. I'm like, work out in the best way. I am not mad.
Starting point is 00:05:33 I'm like literally in the best way. You're all wins. It's all wins. But she was on TikTok first and we were actually going to school together. We did a year of college together. So we were in school together. And then she was like, you need to hop on TikTok. And I was like, I'm kind of like in my first year of college.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Like I'm kind of not really, I don't have time for this. Yeah, I can't do that right now. But then I realized you can post literally anything on TikTok. And then I was like, whoa, I cry every day. I was crying genuinely every day. And then I was, no, literally. And then I was like, you know what does well? Crying online.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Well, actually, I didn't even know that at the time. So then I just started posting videos. Because I was like, exactly. I was like, I'm miserable. Let me tell everybody. So then I started posting a lot of videos crying. And I think people were just like, damn, this girl cries literally every day. And so then it was just like, they'd check in to be like, did she cry today?
Starting point is 00:06:21 And I literally would. Just by happenstance. It was working out. Exactly. I mean, that's what being in Utah will do to you when you're from Hawaii. So I. Shit, I'll tell you what. No, that transition was very difficult.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Yeah. Naturally, I was crying every day. But then, um, Kirsten was putting me in her videos a lot, which was so helpful, so nepotism. She was like, hop in my videos. Why not?
Starting point is 00:06:42 I loved it. I was like, cry a little. Me too. I did the same thing. I was like, you might as well. Exactly. Let's, when I eat the whole team eats, that's how I feel.
Starting point is 00:06:50 Yes, exactly. Thank you. Yeah, that's a player. Yeah, let's be team players. Exactly. Um, but then I was like, wait, this is a dancing app. Let me do a little TikTok dance.
Starting point is 00:06:59 You do a little TikTok dance. You do love a good dance. I do, but I wish I was like an actual dancer, and I wish I, I should actually take dancing classes because I think I would really enjoy it. But you're also, I think, better than you're giving yourself credit for. That's what I'm really. I watch many of your dancing videos. I think you for singing as well as like any Filipino can naturally.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Which is better than the average person, I would say. Just like singing. And thank you. Filipinos love to sing and can sing really well. And I can't sing or dance. Me either. Well, I can dance kind of. I have rhythm, but I can't sing.
Starting point is 00:07:25 And a lot of someone people can sing really well. I can't. No, neither can we. God gave me funny and that's it. He said, that's all you get, send her out. But he, like, set the bar so high. He was like, sorry. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:07:35 He's like, you can distribute your talents or you can like really boost this one button. Too much. But then I was like, you know what would be crazy? If I combined the two things and did them at the same time. So then it was a little bit of dancing and then a little bit of crying and then a little bit at the same time. Yeah, and now look at you. Yeah. And now I guess I do makeup.
Starting point is 00:07:54 And now, yeah, you're doing makeup. You're shaving your head on the internet. Oh, yeah. I am. I'm doing all of it. I would love to talk about your process through that journey. Because you guys, you've also been very supportive. I've seen all of your content about it. And I thought it was really beautiful that you did it publicly.
Starting point is 00:08:07 Oh, thank you. But I'd like to know your thought process about it. Like what made you want to do it online? Do it all and do it online. So I think just being online was starting to give me a lot of anxiety. I thought that it was weird because in the beginning, obviously, when you first start posting, it feels very unnatural and it's weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:22 But then you get into the groove and then it's normal. But then I was starting to like get out of the groove again where I was genuinely so anxious about whatever I would post because I just felt like I like I think I just completely lost like my own self-confidence a little bit where I just felt really like unsure about I just didn't feel funny was the main thing because I don't really care about what I look like well I actually do that's a lie. Hold on I just lie to you I definitely care about what I look like but on top of that what hurt more was I was like oh everybody thinks that I'm not funny and that's worse I agree with that no seriously that's far worse to me than it is yeah and I was doing so much beauty content that I
Starting point is 00:08:56 felt like people were more just interested in that than my personality. And then I was like, oh my God, nobody knows that I used to be funny. I used to cry and dance online guys. Remember that? But genuinely, so I just felt really lost in like what I wanted to do online anymore. And I was like, I just feel so concerned about what everybody else is telling me what I should like post. Or I just feel very concerned about what people think about what I post. And then it was just starting to, like, I just stopped posting often at all. Because I was like, I just feel miserable every single time I post. And then I went down this rabbit hole of women shaping their heads literally one night. Like I was literally in bed.
Starting point is 00:09:28 It was like one or two a. It was in the middle of night. And I saw one girl's video of shaving her head. And literally I saw light enter her eyes. Like after she shaved her head. And then this whole rabbit hole was just so inspiring and encouraging. And also like shaving her head isn't even something new. Like black women have been shaving their heads.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Yeah. But to me it was new. Yeah. Because I was like, I don't know anybody. I think I knew one girl in high school that shaved her head. And also we were friends and she was awesome. So I was like, awesome people shaved their heads. Yeah, it's true.
Starting point is 00:09:56 But I think I also just needed a like hard reset for myself. Because you know how sometimes I have this feeling where I'm like, I feel like I can't change because I feel too set in the way that I am, where I can't change because I won't even let myself change. Because I'm like, this is just who I am now. Yeah. But I was like, if I do a hard reset and I shave my head and I just try everything new, then then I can do everything new.
Starting point is 00:10:16 So I didn't really think about it for that long because everybody was like, I made a few videos on TikTok being like, this is something that I'm thinking about potentially doing. And then people are like, hey girl, don't do it. it you're going to look so ugly and I was like but that's what's so exciting about it and I was like I'm not going to look ugly but but I won't care not at all your face is far too beautiful for it to look ugly oh oh you both have very beautiful faces literally and right back at you that is just the plain truth oh thank you so much that's why if anyone can handle a bald head it's you oh so let me tell you you look great with a bald head I'm getting shy thank you you you her's at the
Starting point is 00:10:48 cute you're at the cutest length right now I love how it looks right now oh thank you it's a little interesting where I'm like I don't know how to style it so I'm like it looks real fucking Thank you. Thank you. That's what's also so fun about having like your head shaved and just growing it out and going through every single phase is that you just get to see like every like new bit of yourself. It's weird.
Starting point is 00:11:06 It's like everything just feels completely brand new because it is. But I, a lot of people were like, don't shave your head. But then a lot of people were like, you should shave it. But that was the beauty is I got to decide what to do. So I only thought about it for like a week before I did it. Like I knew I was going to because either it was I was going to do it in a week or I was going to think about it until I just decided I didn't want to do it. Exactly. So I was like, you know what? I'm going to think about it. And then I actually waited until my mom went on a trip because not that, well, not that she was against it. I think in the beginning she was not against like the fact that I don't think she was like, no, you're going to look ugly or whatever. But I think she was more. The rash decision of it. She was probably like, let's think about it a little bit longer, just in case you hate it more.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Yeah. And she's like, you used to cry every day online. Like, can you handle this? She's like, are you going to be okay? No, seriously. Be careful. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And she was right. But she went on her little trip, and then I decided to shave it like the day after Christmas. I was like, ooh, let me be bald. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas.
Starting point is 00:12:02 New, happy new year, bold head. Yeah, no, seriously. So I called her on the phone. She was like, oh, my God, you're bald. But everybody was really supportive, including my grandma, who we were talking about off camera for a bit, who I love very much. Your grandma's cracking me up. No, she's a funny gal. But when I shake my head, because she's more like she really loves makeup.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Yes. And she loves to look pretty. She's like a glam girl. She's a glam girl for sure. And it's like generational kind of glam. Exactly. Where they think women should be dressed nice, look nice, presentable all the time. Very much that.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Maybe though, but she really didn't raise any of her daughters like that. Because her mom is not like that at all. Maybe that's just how she feels. I think so. She likes to look good. Yeah. And I think it goes every other. It kind of skipped me.
Starting point is 00:12:41 I'm like, I'm like halfway. Because Erica and my grandma are like exactly the same. I kind of like my mom. I would love to dress up. But then sometimes I get anxious. I'm like, Erica, just tell me what to do. Yeah. Just tell me what to do.
Starting point is 00:12:51 of it comes with having taste, too. Because they both have such good taste. Like, maybe if I have better taste. Like, I would desire. Anyway, sorry, I'm going off. Continue. You're all good. You have taste for sure.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Oh, of course you do. I like to taste. You're not. You were saying your grandma was supportive of your bald head. Yeah, she was. So I saw her in person and she was so sweet. She was like, oh, my God, beautiful. I was like, thank you, girl.
Starting point is 00:13:17 It's because of your face. That's why she's like, well, thank God I gave. I have beautiful grandchildren. they can handle a bald head. Thank you very much to your grandma and to you. But I think mainly she was like, I was like, she got to be supportive. She's like, she's already bald.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I better be nice about it. Your grandma's like, what am I going to do about it? No, exactly. Can't put it back in time. But yeah. And how has it been since then? How have you fared since shaving your head? I actually think it did exactly kind of what I was hoping.
Starting point is 00:13:41 I think I care a lot less about just like what I look like just generally in everyday life. Because it was so weird. It was like even in my everyday life. Like I didn't want to go to the grocery store without makeup. I was like, what is wrong with me? Right. This is like not healthy.
Starting point is 00:13:52 I see what you mean. But now, but the bald really, I was like, well, we are at ground zero. Like we are starting from the very beginning, like infant hair. Like I have like from the literal beginning. I'm giving infant. No, I'm giving newborn. I'm giving pre-mey, girl. I literally was giving infant giving it.
Starting point is 00:14:06 No, I'm giving pre-mey. No, seriously. So, I mean, it was a hard reset. And then, yeah, I feel like I just got to kind of rework my brain a bit. I feel like it had to be that way because if I didn't just do something very drastic, I felt like I would have never gotten over anything. That's why I think it was so successful online because I, that's why I wanted to compliment you on it.
Starting point is 00:14:26 And obviously, you're supporting her as her sister and like being there and also while you shaved your head and everything, I think is beautiful. Your sisterhood reminds me a lot of me and my sister, which I love. But I think it's very powerful for women to do things like that, especially to be vulnerable about feelings. Like, like I'm feeling like I'm pulling a lot of stock about what I look like from the internet.
Starting point is 00:14:44 And I want to be able to get rid of that. So this is like an intensely vulnerable thing that you decided to put online. I think that's a beautiful thing and very brave and very courageous. The two of you, I feel like, are really hard on yourselves in a lot of ways, but you are both very brave. Like the way that, especially with person, when you're talking a lot about kind of how the internet has affected your ability, like, you know, existing online is very hard to be perceived by hundreds of people. You guys both being very vulnerable about your feelings and about what you're going through
Starting point is 00:15:12 in spite of having a platform is brave and courageous. And women need to see more things like that. More, I guess, like, honest feelings in earnest, right? Like, you guys are both being very, very honest. I think that's beautiful and powerful. Thank you. I'm like, I'm going to cry. I'm like, hold on.
Starting point is 00:15:29 I'm like, thank God you're recording this. I'm going to go back and re-watch it again. Case you need to re-up. But it's very true. And I feel, I think that's why I feel very drawn to the two of you just content-wise because that's something that I'm trying to help women with all the time. is like being more authentically true to who you are, but in a way that's not formed by the opinions of others online.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Like it's, and I think I've said this before too a lot of times, if people could be a lot more honest about how the internet makes them feel, the internet might be a more enjoyable place to exist. Because even saying things like, I'm drawing a lot of insecurity from this that I didn't have before, because even someone like myself, as soon as I got this platform,
Starting point is 00:16:13 I got into therapy, which I needed intensely. And I didn't realize how much I was going to need it as the longer I did it. But one thing I talked about extensively in therapy is how like I had body neutrality well into my 20s, which is very rare. So I really drew no power or worth from what I looked like, especially my body. But then once I started doing this, I started thinking about it, which I had never done before. I'm like, the internet gave me something or in essence, I guess took something away for me.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And that was something I was struggling with too. So I've talked about how like, I think when you're more honest about the feeling and then you talk about it, you can confront it, process it, and most importantly let it go. So even when you talk about ED struggles, I know you've had a lot of conversations about that too. Stuff like that is so important to hear, like authentically and how it feels and how it affects you, especially because everybody's on TikTok. Everybody's watching TikTok constantly. Everybody's constantly following people that don't look like them or consuming content from people who look like nothing like them. So I think the two of you existing the way you do is so beautiful. And I think I should remember that.
Starting point is 00:17:16 I really appreciate that. But I do want to know too, like, what's one of the coolest things you guys have been able to do because of this as sisters? Because you've done a lot of really cool things together. But what's one of the coolest things you guys would say? Off the top of our heads, it's always meeting Rihanna. Oh my gosh. Well, obviously it's meeting Rihanna. No, like I was fully dissociating.
Starting point is 00:17:38 No, it was crazy. No, like literally she shook my hand and I was like, I am literally, I can't hear or see right now. Yeah, but I'm seeing you in so clear. And it was pregnant Rihanna too. It was pregnant Rihanna. Yeah, so that was like her and her ultimate womanhood. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Wow, she's creating life right now. Yes, literally while she was making life. While she was making life. We were there in the making of life. No, literally. Life and making lives. You're creating three lives right now. That's so amazing.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I think that's wonderful. What about your family? I feel like you guys are very family oriented. What's the coolest thing you've been able to do with family or for family? Because of the internet. I think just like now we can go on trips together. Because like we never, also being in, in Hawaii, you're so far from everything. Trips are super expensive.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Like they're super, super expensive. And also our parents are a bit older now. And so I think they're actually getting closer to retirement age so they have more time, which is nice. But now we can finally go on trips together, I think, which has been nice. And the house is AC now. It does have ACU. We did that.
Starting point is 00:18:34 We're like installing. I know why you need that. He really do. Yeah, as soon as that check comes in. Hey, guess what? Air conditioning for the house. Putting event here. An event here.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Here? No. Hardwood floor. Yeah. Oh yeah. And it has hardwood floor. We're hardwood four now. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:18:48 I'm going to pivot back to dancing, only because it's a perfect. I know you do a lot of K-pop. You guys love K-pop. Oh. You like K-pop too? I like K-pop, but she loves K-pop. She loves K-pop. I am, that's why I'm like, I need to key with my girls about K-pop.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Oh, really? Or K-dramas or Chinese dramas. I've just started venturing. I'm trying to get into, um, Chinese dramas. But please tell me what you've been getting into. I just started watching Pursuit of Jade. Oh my gosh, my mom's watching Pursuit of J. He's trying to get me into it. That's a Chinese, right? Me and your mom are like this. Tell your mom to hit me up. That one is Chinese, right? Yeah, it's Chinese. Okay, got it. Yeah, it's on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Okay, I got to get into it. I started watching it. Truthfully, I have not been as tapped into K-pop recently. Just, I don't know why. I think we've also just been, I've been a little bit more locked in my, like, personal life. And it just like with work and stuff. Yeah. But still love K-pop. Um, there. Oh my gosh like what do you want to talk about? Well I just started I just started venturing because I randomly watched the BTS documentary. Oh yes. Oh my gosh. I knew nothing at all.
Starting point is 00:19:51 So I had no idea these men have the power of an emperor. I could not believe like how famous these men are. I was like, too. Also how many there are of them. I was like there are five, six, seven, eight. Okay, seven or eight, something like that. I watched that documentary. So then I started listening to their music because I was like, sure, why not?
Starting point is 00:20:09 like I mean might as well. Uh-huh. And it is crazy insane. Like the music is all over the place, but I love it. It's the performance aspect of it to me. Yeah, the dancing is so appealing. The dancing and the drip is insane. Like the way they dress and the way they dance is actually.
Starting point is 00:20:24 It's crazy. The aura. It's moving me. I was like, hey, it's working on me. Honestly, I think more than anything, like what K-pop, like, it's the community. Because everybody is so locked into it. Like, K-pop fans, like out of concert, like everybody is there. Like in the light stick culture of it all.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Like everybody's there with a plant. It's super fun. And I'm like, I love a good fan girl. Like moments. I love fan girls. I was a fan girl. I was a big Jonas Brother girl. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:50 I really, which I relate to because I was a One Direction fan girl. Oh, really? I loved them too. I was like older at the time that One Direction became a thing, but I loved One Direction too. I was like seamless transition.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Totally. But you were writing fan fiction, right? Hell yeah. I wrote fan fiction about Genesis. You read about One Direction? Yes. I was a hairy girl personally. Oh, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:21:09 Yeah, but I think I was just picking anyone with the longest hair. I was like, I'm up big of hair. I was always going to do it. I also loved Zane. Yeah, that's true. So that's what originally drew me into the group. Sorry, not me going in. Go in.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Drew me into the group is I saw a picture of Zane and I was like, what's this about? Exactly. But that was my best friend's favorite. And so she was like, well, obviously I'm going to marry him. So if you pick someone else because we can't marry the same person. I was like, you're right. And I don't think you understand the severity of how insane she was about it.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Because she genuinely thought. that she was going to marry them. Like genuinely. Our dad was concerned. Yeah. Because I think what did you say to dad one time? Because you were talking to dad about Liam Payne and he was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. I was like, well, dad, because I know I'm going to marry Liam.
Starting point is 00:21:49 And he was like, you mean you hope you marry Liam? And I said, no, I know. No, girl. That's not what I mean. And later he told Eric, he was like, I think I did something wrong with Kirsten because she knows she's going to marry Liam Payne. And I'm like, yeah. And you know, he was right.
Starting point is 00:22:04 It's funny because when I was young, young, I loved my chemical romance. Oh, that was our brother's favorite. Yeah, my sister was a Gerard Way fan because she's a lesbian and that makes sense. But I was, I was in love with the guitarist. His name was Ray Toro. Oh, crazy. He was 35 when I was 10. And I, with him, I felt so like, that's my man.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Like I was so, like, convinced. But then when I liked the Jonas Brothers, I was kind of like, well, yeah, obviously he'd love me and I guess we'll see. Like, I was very like, we'll see if I like him. What if I meet him and I hate him? Oh, okay, okay, okay. That's kind of how I would talk to him out. You already had a better perspective.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah, I was like, I was very like, well, I mean, yeah, obviously he's going to like me, but like, what if I don't like him? And that's what dating is all about, right? That's the perspective I'm trying to give other women. No, it should be. It's like you. I'm always on the front foot. Wait, how old are you at this point? I was probably when I loved the Jonas Brothers over 11, 12.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Wow. Because you had two more years of perspective. Yeah. A lot of growth. I literally was very like, yeah, I mean, it's going to be hard for him to not fall in love with me, but I guess, like, we'll see. No, exactly. Like, I had to always, you know, just in case. He looks busy.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Yeah. He looks busy and I'm busy. Emotionally unavailable, perhaps. Yeah, I'm busy. I'm emotionally available, but is he? Right. You're like, I'm going to start eighth grade. The work pile is going to like.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Yeah, well, I was like, we'll see if our schedule is aligned. Yeah. And I think the Jonas Brother thing was so intense. That's what made me write the fan fiction, obviously. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then obviously when One Direction came out, I remember when One Direction started like coming across my desk, I was like, I don't have time for this. Like, I remember thinking, like, I can't get into another group.
Starting point is 00:23:35 That's what she said about K. That's what's what happened to. K-pop is I was like, I'm seeing the obsession. And I was like, and I've been through this before. I was like, I can't. I also felt that way about K-pop, so I get it. That's fair. No, the thing is, okay, so for me, like, because one direction missed me.
Starting point is 00:23:48 It went completely over my head. Like, I got it because she was obsessed and I was really little. But as I got older, because a lot of my friends were obsessed with one direction, but I, like, didn't know if I even, like, boys. Like, and truthly, I'm still not sure, Drew. Like, I got to be so honest. But, like, K-pop was the first time where I was like, wait, I find them attractive. Oh, like, they're so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Okay, I'm answering some questions now for myself. I love it. Oh, you know, yes, because they're very, like, they're pretty. Yeah, they are very, they're so pretty. And so I think that's what appealed to me, because I wonder if they're pretty, Zane Malick is a beautiful, beautiful boy. Yeah, that makes sense. But I was just like, well, who's your favorite K-pop group then?
Starting point is 00:24:19 Oh, okay. Because I've recently gotten into Ate's. Oh, my God. Because I really, I really fuck with that song bad. Oh, is it. She's so bad. Yeah, yeah. I'm like, I showed my sister.
Starting point is 00:24:28 My sister was like, this is kind of awesome. Well, first she said, everyone in this group looks like lesbians. I'm going to have to look them up. And I'm like, yeah, you should. Like, they're all very beautiful men, I would assume. But the song is speaking to me. No, it is. And Chase Infinity being, like, fan fictioning her way into that music video.
Starting point is 00:24:43 She inspires me. I love Chase. She's so pretty. Yeah, she's great. And she's wonderful. I was like, I follow her on Instagram, so that's why I was like, let me look into this. Oh, you said, oh. And then I fucked with the song.
Starting point is 00:24:52 No, it's good. They make good music. We, um, I took them to the Coachella set because we saw them at Coachella because I was a good. I did you see the 80s because they're going to perform bouncyy and I need to see them perform bouncy. Wait, first of all, who's your, who's your bias? I don't know any of their names. Oh, that's okay.
Starting point is 00:25:09 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. Yeah, I'm so new. I'm a new 18ie. No, exactly. And that's the beauty in K-pop is you have all the time to get into it. I switch between San and Yu-Yung. Okay, so Son's the one with the black hair.
Starting point is 00:25:24 He's the one in the front. Yeah, that's always the, yeah. My sister said that move makes her feel creepy. Like she feels like she must be perverted when she watches them do it. Oh, okay. You know, I have to watch a few more performances, I think, because my mom's really into bad as well. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:37 She's really into 80s. Oh, period. I think for me, honestly, all roads do lead back to BTS. Like, we just recently went to their concert because they were like the first group that I got really, really into and obsessed with. And then they, you know, they had their military service, and then they were doing their own thing for a bit. And then I was like, okay, well, something has to fill the void.
Starting point is 00:25:54 So I was just dabbling everywhere. But, like, BTS, like, all roads really lead back to them. What's your bias in BTS? So I used to be a Tehuk bias, so Teheng and Junkuk, but these days I'm like, I'm just so sorry. Like my heart is really in it with Junkhuk. Like I love Teang as well.
Starting point is 00:26:12 And I love all of them. But there's just something about like a, like a beautiful man with like some tattoos and some piercing. I'm like, wait, give me. Give me, give me, give me, give me, give me. Yeah, I recently started, my, my man really loves J.J.K. And I recently was like, let me start watching J.J.K. Oh, and so I'm going to start.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Well, that's why, like, he was telling me, he goes, I really love that anime, and that's one of the only ones where they only have fan service for men. So just they're slutting out their men constantly. Always. And I was like, well, now I have to get into it. Oh, now I have to look into it. No, genuinely. I'm, like, trying to think, um, not, okay, Gojo's the one with the silver hair, the spiky hair. Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Gojo? Okay. His friend looks like my man. The one that they have, like, the little breakup. Oh, yes, yes, yes. But I forget. Gito. Oh, Ghetto. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Him. I'll say him because he kind of looks like my man. No. Oh, oh, yes. Honestly, yes. The hair. It's the long hair. Yeah, yes, the long hair.
Starting point is 00:27:10 You see, I have a, I have a theme going. No, it's a good theme. I love, I love long hair on men. Oh, you know, no, but I totally get the vibe. No, the long hair, yes. Sorry, I'm like, whoa. But yeah, no, I hear you. I also just recently watched my very first K drama.
Starting point is 00:27:27 I've never in my life watched anything like that. Do you guys like K dramas? I do you guys? I have to stop watching them, though, because it sets an extremely unrealistic, like, standard for me that I'm like, okay, whatever. Like, it starts, like, it's fun for, like, the first two I watch, but by the eighth, I'm like, I'm actually starting to just feel horrible. Like, I'm trying to feel like, yeah. This is making me feel bad about my real life. No, seriously.
Starting point is 00:27:45 I watched, um, fuck, what was it called? It was called, it's on Hulu. It was called, like, the crown prince or something like that. Oh, it just came across my desk and I was like, shit, fuck it. Why not? What entice you? Honestly, what's really moving me towards it is I'm writing a fiction book right now because I'm writing like a new fiction series. And it's inspired by like a Polynesian like lore.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Oh, I love that. Legend and lore. And so that's kind of where I'm writing from. But because of that, I want to watch other pieces of media and different cultures. Yeah. Because I what I'm writing for is like based in culture, but it's not obviously like extremely accurate to it. So I want to watch different kinds of meat like movies, TV shows. listen to different music in different languages and different cultures because I think that they
Starting point is 00:28:33 express love in a very different way and a very because there's no like sex and like the Korean dramas Chinese dramas but there's a lot of intimacy like very close very like staring heavy oh man they love to stare and those kids they'll have about two minutes of staring and I'm in there too and I love it honestly they have this very like sexual attention but there's no actual payoff until like way at the end. Episode 8 is when they kiss. Yeah. That's always like,
Starting point is 00:29:00 the first kiss is episode. Yeah, you have to work really hard to get that first kiss. So I really, I find that inspiring in writing. So I was like, I'm gonna watch other stuff and kind of sample around
Starting point is 00:29:09 because American media all kind of feels the same when it comes to like, especially romance. But I like to watch, I want to watch things with different depictions of romance or like love, I should say,
Starting point is 00:29:18 like between friends, like sisters, brothers. Oh yeah. That's why with JJK, I know they have a lot of like brother love like very intense. tense brother love. So I was like, I'm going to watch that too
Starting point is 00:29:29 and get inspired. Why not? Since we're on the subject, both are you single? Well, you know. We're talking about romance. Oh, I mean, I thought I paused because I was waiting for her to answer,
Starting point is 00:29:40 but I'm so obviously single. I'm actually painful. I'm like, I'm a little too publicly single. Okay. Okay. Erica. Yes. Dream man, dream partner.
Starting point is 00:29:51 What do they look, sound, and feel like? They look like Junkook. We know that. Okay. Yeah. So it starts there. Yeah. So what do they feel like?
Starting point is 00:29:59 What does it feel like to you? Oh, whoa. I don't know. Okay. Okay. Well, first of all, a ground zero, a bare minimum, obviously they have to be super extremely nice to me, the nicest person ever because I'm so sensitive.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Like they genuinely have to be the most understanding and empathetic person ever. So let's start there. Aside from, you know, generally having kindness and empathy, I would, I really like funny. I like funny. I don't. like funnier than me but I do like like we can be about even
Starting point is 00:30:31 you know and if they are funnier than me they just can't be annoying about it like I don't want to hear about how funny you are I feel that yeah like don't tell me that you're so funny that's that's real I've told I've told my man before I'm like between the two of us who do you think's funnier and then he was like I mean probably I would I would say you
Starting point is 00:30:47 and I was like you're right that's good answer because it's the right one and then he was like I don't think I'm not funny I just think you're more funny to more people oh and how that's like almost like a nice are trained dancer. Like literally, yeah, you hit every note.
Starting point is 00:30:59 I thought him that, but he didn't send it on his own. That's just, but that's exactly my point. That's why I'm like, so I get what you mean. Like I, I need someone who's funny.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Exactly. I should think he's funny. I shouldn't be hearing about how funny he is from him, but I'm like, from him or others. Yeah, exactly. No, I should just know that.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Exactly. But I really do like funny. I also feel like I'm pretty introverted. So I know a lot of people are like, you need an extrovert and I'm like, I think I don't. I'm like, because I really, I hate when a lot of people like to go out.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Like in Hawaii, a lot of people like to go out to the club. And they like to, they like to hit the Chinatown club. Yeah, Mai Tai's. Yeah, Mai Tai's. Well, my ties too much. Tell you not. Girl, I've been to Maiitai's. You can.
Starting point is 00:31:37 RIP to Moani's. Oh, yeah, that's right. Because you know it's too much. Moanis is no longer there. So I guess Mai Tai's is a new place. But, um, but yeah, I'm just like, I'd rather kind of stay like, let's stay in and let's watch some JJK and get that male fan service. Like that dream date.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Yeah, you're trying to do that with me or what? No, exactly. I see what you mean. But I do like kind of, also, I, this is interesting. Well, okay, K-pop is interesting because it is very, like, I'd like to think that's their personality, but obviously it's also very curated as well. Yeah. Because I'm like, we don't know them personally, you know?
Starting point is 00:32:07 But they always make them act a little bit cute, which I love. Because I love when boys are cute. Yeah. I like when they're, I don't like hot. No, no, no. Like, well, it was just crazy because John Cook is like the hottest man ever. But it's the duality of it all. I see what you mean.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Yeah. Like, cute is a good thing. Like, I should find you cute too. No, exactly. Yeah, in addition to. Mm-hmm. And I think in real life, I gravitate towards just more like warm personality, like warm, cute. Because like hot, like persona, I feel sick.
Starting point is 00:32:36 I'm like, I need you to like get away from me. It's kind of like when men, I always say I find it cringe and weird when men act sexy. Like, I see what you mean. No, yeah, it makes me feel odd. It gives me an ick too, a very deep. Really? But I feel like your man is pretty stereotypically. That's a good point.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Like hot and sexy. Yeah. So how did you overcome that? I was gonna say, because so everything icks me. I'm like actually, every quality I want in a man is actually a woman. So I'm very confused. So I think I'm answering my own question. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Okay. Can we stop settling for hair products that just don't work? I say it's time to shake up your routine and see how much better your hair can feel with Sephora's selection. I've been loving that Sephora has so many prestige hair brands all in one place. So it's actually easy to find products that work for your hair. If your hair needs repair, the K-18 leave-in molecular repair hair mask is one of those products people genuinely swear by. If you're trying to level up your wash day, the Kerasas-Alixir old-time hair oil leaves your hair looking ridiculously shiny without feeling heavy. And if you're into that glossy, healthy hair vibe, the Gisu-Hunny-infused hair oil is such a staple. I love knowing that Sephora curates the best of prestige hair care,
Starting point is 00:33:51 So you're not just guessing, you can shop products that are actually worth the investment because healthier looking hair starts with better products. Plus, Sephora makes it super convenient with free shipping and same day delivery. Shop hair at Sephora and give your hair the upgrade it's been waiting for. The thing with my man is like, he just is hot. But he doesn't like act like it. Yeah, he just is. He happens to be hot. He's very quiet and very like reserved.
Starting point is 00:34:17 I was just telling this to my friend the other day because she didn't know this about him. but he like loves animals. And when I say like loves, I mean like for real loves, like studies them and like wanted to be a veterinarian. Well, he wanted to be a paleontologist for a long time
Starting point is 00:34:29 because he loves dinosaurs. But he like loves bugs and he loves sea creatures. Oh wow. So it's like there are things about him that when you look at him, like you would never, when you look at my man,
Starting point is 00:34:40 you would never think he loves JJK. It's the duality. You see what I mean. Like so that's why like the presentation of hot is fine with me. Got it. It's like acting like you know that. It's like that.
Starting point is 00:34:50 comment on people like, I hate when a man knows. And I hate when he knows. As far as like, I think it's better if they just acknowledge, like, they know that they're a good looking person, but it's not really a big part of their personality. Okay, yeah. You know what I mean? That's literally like body neutrality, but for men. Like, you should just know that you're like, that shouldn't be your thing.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Hot neutrality, yeah. I'm hot. I don't, I don't think too much about it. I don't hate it. I exist in it. It just happens. It just happened. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:13 But it's just kind of like, I know. Yeah. Like, it's like, if he knows, that's fine. That's all that they should be doing. Yeah. It's just acknowledging and nothing else. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:24 It's like acting a certain way, I think. So I get what you mean because that's why I find, like, when I went to the male strip club for the first time and it was a horrifying haunted house experience. That was horrifying to me because I don't like when men act sexy. Like I don't enjoy that. Was it a magic mic show? Was it Magic Mike? It wasn't Magic Mike.
Starting point is 00:35:43 Oh, okay. I couldn't do that. Like with the whole of bringing on stage thing, I already had that experience and it was horrifying. Oh, my God. You had that experience. at Magic Mike? I tried to go to Magic Mike. I walked out after 10 minutes. I was like, it got too real. It's like, I thought it was going to be funny because it's like, oh, like funny. We're like, male strippers. And then I got there and I was like, oh my God, this is real. You said it's
Starting point is 00:36:02 too real? Yeah. Because then they're stripping. Oh my God. They're like going to be in my face. Like genuinely so scary. I can't do it. I'm out. I'm out. I'm out. We all left. We all left. What is the group with the masks? Jabbawhack. That's honestly, when I was just in Vegas, we were joking about, we should go see the Jabuaki's. I actually would love to see the Jabu Kyi's. I had to buy two tickets. That's where I go.
Starting point is 00:36:29 The night starts at Magic Mike and it ends at the Jabaliki. That's my kind of night. That's funny too because my man feels the same way about like he's like afraid to go to like the strip club and stuff and makes him uncomfortable. It's just in your face. Yeah, like when he was in college, he went to UNLV for a little bit and this guy was like, okay, get ready we're going to go to the strip club then we're going to go to another club then we're going to go to a party and then my man said he was like I can't I left my idea at home and then they're
Starting point is 00:36:58 like you just got here you don't have your he's like no and he was like I just didn't want to go and he was like but I didn't want to say like I don't want to go so I like in like he seemed fired up so I didn't want to be mean yeah he's like but I was like oh I can't and he's like because I just I don't want to and I was like that's my fucking man no I love that it's a beautiful thing Yeah. I feel like for my dream man, I used to like really quiet guys because I'm so loud. Actually, but then I feel like I'm randomly shy. Like if you notice me on this couch, I'm not talking much. I don't know what happens. It's like, I don't know what it is. It's like unless I'm directly talked to, I just, I just be saying nothing. I think too that's also very common for people, even like actors and actresses that I've met before.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Like some of them are really, really shy. Like they just, they feel more themselves when they're playing a character. Like that they don't feel shy about. But it's like, like, they're like. like when they're sitting and like being themselves, that makes them feel a little bit shy. Yeah. Which is very strange. Yeah. You would think it's the opposite,
Starting point is 00:37:57 but it's not always the case. Exactly. Actually, side to feel before I go into my dream man. Literally one time, so I was going to therapy when I was in college, right? Yeah. And then I was going to therapy and then I was going to group therapy. Because that's actually something that you do in ED therapies.
Starting point is 00:38:09 You have like an individual therapist and like a group therapy. Anyway, it was the same therapist for both. And then she was telling me in individual therapy, she was like, you never talk in therapy. She was like in group therapy. therapy. She was like, I think you have like some very like interesting things to say and like just like input yourself. I agree. And I literally told her I was like, you have to like ask me a question directly. I was like, because I'm not just going to start talking. I was like, if you target me, I'll say something. She's like, okay, fine. You got to corner me. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. So, so I she targets me in the in the in the group therapy and then I start talking. And then afterwards in the next therapy, she was like, Kirsten, who was that out there? She was like, you were making everyone laugh. She's like, did you know you're that funny? I was like, I did. I did. Yeah. I was like, I told you.
Starting point is 00:38:52 I just got a real stoic vibe. Yeah, I don't even know. I'm just shy. I'm genuinely just shy. Between the two of you, who would you say is more shy? Probably Eric? I think...
Starting point is 00:39:02 But Erica's better in that, like... If it's, like, new people, she's a lot better at being extroverted in, like, a new group setting. Yeah. But I think once I'm, like, comfortable, and I'm, like, very comfortable with you. You are so...
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yeah. And comfortable to be around. A really good on-camera personality. Yeah. Like, really good. I think you both are. I was going to say it. You're doing great too.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Oh, thank you. No, but I feel like she, I don't know, I'm not PR trained. I don't think either of us. I'm not PR trained. Seriously. Yeah. Yeah, but I would say like overall she can hang out with more people in a group setting and I just feel like I stick to like two people I know and then we and we chop it up.
Starting point is 00:39:41 Yeah, sort of. Yeah, but we're both very shy in like a classroom environment. Oh, I wouldn't talk. We don't talk. Unless directly spoken to. Yeah. I see. And I was just curious because you're.
Starting point is 00:39:49 older younger sister dynamic like my sister is older obviously but she was the shy one and I wasn't oh so I made I was very like come on days let's go like I was very like involving her and everything I was like taking her to everything I was like no she's gonna play too she's gonna play with us oh okay because I was bossy from the jump so I was very like yeah I was very bossy I was very opinionated I was very like this is what's gonna happen next and you're gonna involve my sister that's nice did you guys grow up like that too um actually her and my brother they're so good they're like really great older siblings to have because genuinely they made sure I was included in everything, even though we have a huge age gap. Like me, my brother, eight years apart, but...
Starting point is 00:40:25 My younger brother's nine years younger than me. Oh, yeah, yeah. We have like the inverse of your guys and it is. Yeah, it's literally just flipped. Yeah, it's the other way. Yeah, but like, I remember when I was in high school, like, I had summer school and they would, they were just doing summer by themselves, but they were like trying to go hiking and my mom was like, I should just go. Or you guys can go and they're like, no, we have to wait until she finished the summer school, so she can go with those. But they just like include me and everything, sort of. But the one, What she can't remember, though, is, like, most of what I would get in trouble when I was younger was not including her. Oh, but also a big age gap.
Starting point is 00:40:53 That's like five years. She was like, she was like five. I was like, no. I was genuinely going to ruin the vibe. So she's literally baby. She can't do anything. She's baby. She always talks about that.
Starting point is 00:41:03 She's like, you were so boring for so long. You couldn't talk for so. And she was so, she wanted a sister. Couldn't do anything. Seriously. You're a hurry up, grow up. I want to have a sister. Literally.
Starting point is 00:41:12 I remember like, when I was like five, I wanted a sister. And then I got one. And then I was like, dang it. Well, I guess I can't wait until she's five. Yeah. And then I was 10 and I was like, dang it. You're like, now I can't wait until she's 10. I'm 15.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I'm like, when will she ever be 15? Yeah. But it finally happened. It was actually around the time. I think by the time she was like 16. I was like, wait, it's happening. Yeah. I was going to ask when around the time, when was the time or age that you guys
Starting point is 00:41:36 started getting closer, like for real? Oh, when our brother left for college, I think, because then we were like, okay, I guess like you're here and that's all we have, I guess. Yeah, I was like, oh, we don't really talk. But no, we would talk, but we would just fight all the time. We still fight all the time. But back then we would, like, fight all the time. But our brother left for college, and then we just got really close.
Starting point is 00:41:55 And then we went to college together. So then... At BYU, right? Mm-hmm. Yeah, my dad's whole side of the family is Mormon. Like, my dad grew up Mormon. Oh, I was going to ask about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:04 My dad's whole side of the family grew up Mormon. My dad grew up Mormon. My dad was a Jack Mormon for a long time. And now he's no longer Mormon. But he, like, I've been to Utah many, many, many times. like, I have a ton of family in St. George. Oh, that's interesting. So they're like Southern Utah.
Starting point is 00:42:19 Yeah, nice. Yeah, the actual like, spawn of Satan that I went to prom with was from St. George, Utah. Oh, sorry. Yeah, and that's why he was a big freak weirdo. But like, but I do know that it's not indicative of all Mormons. A lot of someone people are Mormon.
Starting point is 00:42:36 So I grew up with a lot of Mormons, too. So I get, I know you guys have a lot of friends who are Mormon too. So I know you guys talk about how you're like, yeah, that shit sucks. But like, I have friends who are awesome. Yeah, that's right. That's like the very nuanced part of talking about it online. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Is because like it's, we have so many family and friends who are still Mormon who like are really great people and they don't even believe of the negative sides of the church. But then also there are like a lot of negative sides of the church. Yeah, yeah. So I get it. And a lot of Polynesian people are Mormon. That part. Yeah. Because they colonize like all of Polynesia.
Starting point is 00:43:10 Yeah. And then you see that circle. Like even at BYU, like you see just the vibes and you're like this is why it is the way. that it is. Like, yeah, just like, it's just constantly pushed into their brains. Like, especially being in St. George, like, that's probably all he knew. Yeah. No, for real. He was big freak weirdo. He was one of those where I was like, yeah, you're awful and I hate you. And I send my ire towards him. Every time I have negative energy, I put it towards that guy. You know what? You always need that one guy. It's kind of go somewhere. We need that one person.
Starting point is 00:43:39 I also, like, kind of a hard transition, but not. I wrote on one of Erica's video. That's why we were talking about Dream Man for a second. Oh, yes. Because you were talking about what you were struggling with with dating. And I was like, we got to get on the couch and talk about this. Well, we're here. Yeah, well, and now we're on the couch. And Kirsten D'Anvian was like, I know I'm like low-key inviting myself, but can I come to?
Starting point is 00:44:01 I was like, yes, of course you can. This is where she takes the initiative. This is where she's bossy sister, but in that way. That's honestly why I laughed when I read your DM because I was like, you saw my comment on Erica's and you came. You're so me. I was like, it's the same way with me. my sister. I was like, oh, so she invited Erica
Starting point is 00:44:17 and so basically me. And her package she'll, so it's fine. I was like, wait, and let me sit right next to her too. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm happy you did, honestly. That's such a, that's why I was like, yes, of course, both of you can come. No, because literally nothing would get done if she wasn't. No, it's nepotism. Nepotism got me in the podcast. There go.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Okay, so I want to talk, before we get into fun facts, I do want to talk about the video that you had posted that I commented on. Oh, yes. Because you were talking, we were talking about, you were talking about dating. Oh, yes, I was. And your struggle with dating. And it's just, and it's getting close to people, I think, is what the genesis of it was, kind of opening up a little bit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:53 I feel like, Loki, I'm like, maybe I like shouldn't be doing this online. I'm like, I'm a little too publicly, embarrassingly single. And it's not embarrassing, though. Remember I told you. And that's, well, that's why I'm telling you what you're talking about, I think, is a more common feeling than you would think. Definitely. So, like, it's powerful to see other people talk about it. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:45:10 Especially other women. Thank you. I needed to hear that. Yeah. Because I'm always like, oh, my God, I ruined my life. Like I've been my own chances at ever getting boyfriend because they're going to look my videos and be like this girl's crazy. No, I don't think so. I think, well, you can never say the wrong thing to the right person.
Starting point is 00:45:23 That's what I agree with. She always says that actually. It's true. It's very true. I feel like and you're, I kind of move that way in my sisterhood too with my sister because my sister was with someone for a very long time and then was single for the first time and like forever. So I talked with her a lot about dating all my friends. I talked to them about dating and stuff. So it's very, it's a more common feeling than you would think.
Starting point is 00:45:46 I'm like, please, thereifies me. Tell me what caught your ear when you watched that video. Like, well, what about it? I think it's the fact that you were talking a lot about your own fears with opening up, like your own fears with like wanting to connect, which is a very common thing I get asked about a lot. Yeah. Which is like, how do I date in a way that's like safe, right? That makes me feel safe.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Like, no matter what happens. But I've told people a lot like, unfortunately, but maybe fortunately love doesn't. come without vulnerability, you can't have one without the other. So it's really horrifying and scary, but the most courageous thing you can do is continue to pursue love even after you've been wronged, like after you've been like pushed aside or forgotten about in whatever way you feel. I think it's like the most courageous thing to do is to keep going and to keep trying. And I've said this metaphor before because I saw it somewhere once and it really stuck with me. But it's like when a bird lands on a branch, it doesn't worry if the branch is strong enough
Starting point is 00:46:43 to hold it, it knows that even if it does break, it can fly away. So that's what you have to. They can fly away. So that's how you, that, right. So you have to trust and believe that you're strong enough to fly, not trust that they're strong enough to hold you. Because the right person is always going to be strong enough to hold you. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:47:00 So you, the two of you both, I think, talk about this a lot, which is like feeling like you're a lot, like, whether it's your emotions, your humor, like, your personality, which is me too. Like, that's why, like, my book's called loud, obviously, but it's literally because it's associated with me. Like I'm I am a lot. That is true. I am a lot. I'm what you would call, I think, a high risk, high reward kind of girl. Right. So it's like when it, when it is hard to be with me in the sense that it requires more than I think men are willing to give sometimes, but it's worth it. Like so it's like, am I too much or are they just not strong enough to hold me?
Starting point is 00:47:35 That's a great point. Right. So it's like it's, I think you're always, the way you approach dating should be more on the front foot, which is like kind of like, kind of. like what I was joking about with Nick Jonas, right? Which is like, even at 11 years old, I was like, I mean, obviously he's going to love me. That's a no-brainer. But whether, and I think that's how you should approach dating, which is like, it's also a litmus test for them. You don't even know if you're going to like them.
Starting point is 00:47:58 Uh-huh. But women almost always are like, what if they don't like me? What if they watch my videos and they think I'm weird or crazy? Yeah. And it's like, honestly, I think if they watched your videos, they would see one's very specific side of you, but getting to know you in person is a very different experience. And honestly, I think the right man would be so drawn to you. They wouldn't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:48:17 That's why I said you can never say the wrong thing to the right person. So like the most insane, crazy things I've ever said, like my man's like, and that's my fucking wife. That's my wife. So I'm very hopeful for you. Thank you. I feel really confident. I'm like, someone's got to be.
Starting point is 00:48:35 For you. And for you in your journey that is not disclosed. I'm also happy for you. Thank you. Yeah. No, I don't know. Yeah, you're just kind of figuring it out. I think you both are.
Starting point is 00:48:45 But I think it's beautiful. I do want to know, too, what's like a dream of yours, outside of relationships? What's a dream of yours with this platform, with what you guys are doing, how you guys are moving? Do you have any dreams? This is the place you manifest it. Oh, I feel like, I mean, we kind of touched on this earlier, but I feel like especially, like, with my journey going and getting treatment for my eating disorder and then coming back online, I feel like that is something that I definitely want to share more online. Just because I feel like a lot of people aren't talking about it. And it's kind of like what you're saying,
Starting point is 00:49:13 a lot of women are shrinking their literal bodies to fit into the mold of what the world wants them to see. And that makes me genuinely so sad. Same. And I just want to be able to advocate for people who are going through that. But then also at the same time, it's kind of something that I'm going through right now. And so it's like kind of hard sometimes
Starting point is 00:49:32 because it's like, of course I want to talk about how my body has changed online, but then that also requires me to talk about how my body has changed online. Yeah, I see what you mean. It's like a double. Exactly. Because in some ways, like the best. thing for me is to just absolutely say nothing about it, which is why I haven't touched on it
Starting point is 00:49:46 a whole lot of my content. But then also at the same time, I feel like it's so important to bring that to light. And so I think it's kind of like, that's the battle that I'm currently trying to fight is like I'm sure you could strike a balance. I think you've been doing a great job. Thank you. Doing what feels safe, but not being too too much, like too, I would say forthcoming with it. Yeah. Do you have any tips on that? Because I feel like you have like a good balance of like your own boundaries with yourself and also what you're going to post online. And with fans. You guys watch me hitting fans a few times when they're being mean or weird to me. I would say the mentality that you have, I think, is the right way to approach it, which is
Starting point is 00:50:19 like when it moves me enough that I feel like I can speak on it in a safe manner, like with guardrails around it, then I will. And if I don't feel like it's a safe environment for me to do so, then I'm not going to. And I think forgiving yourself either way is a really key part of it. Because sometimes when you do it, you're like, fuck, I probably shouldn't have done that. Like, I probably, oh, I regret doing that. But there's always, I think, you know, there's always a risk either way, whether you decide to share or not. But I would just say to share what feels most comfortable to you.
Starting point is 00:50:51 And I think that's a beautiful thing. I think also, too, you've talked a lot about how like online, how you've shared a lot. And then now you're like, okay, maybe I'll just share what I feel comfortable with. Yeah. I also think that's a very smart way to do content because sometimes when you, I think in the beginning, it feels awesome. And you're like, oh my gosh, people are loving me and they're loving this and this is awesome. And I want to be able to share. and then one awful thing happens and you're like,
Starting point is 00:51:14 I never want to share anything ever fucking again. I never want to sit back on you. Yeah, you're like, oh my God. I'm never going to let you in ever again. And then you feel like what you were saying earlier right before you shaved your head, which is like, I feel like it's too much now. Like it's like I can't share anything without feeling so afraid
Starting point is 00:51:33 and feeling like knives are all around me. That's also why I had to take my break too, like a couple years ago. Because it just got to a point. And I'm not even really that forthcoming about anything personal. But like, it just got to a point where I was like, you guys, I never let anyone dictate how I feel about myself. And now it's starting to like really get in there. That's what happened to me.
Starting point is 00:51:54 I'm never in my life. Yeah, exactly. I've never felt that way in my life. And now you are not taking that from me. That's literally what I was thinking. I was like, I need to step away because this is not good for me. It's good that, though. Right.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Because so many people don't. Yeah. They know, like, seriously. You get lost in the sauce. Right. And then you start, you either turn. evil or you go insane publicly. Yeah. And you guys can probably relate to this too. But like since I've started doing this,
Starting point is 00:52:17 I've told my therapist many times, I'm like, I can relate now to things like when I would see women like in early like tabloids, like celebrities, when just tabloids were a thing, when women would be like they would go insane and they would do crazy things in public to paparazzi or whatever. I'm like, I get it now. Because it's impossible to exist online as a woman. It is. A non-white woman. It's so hard. Like everyone, you're just being punished constantly. Seriously. And it's like, I chose to do this.
Starting point is 00:52:46 And I don't know if you guys have this feeling too, but sometimes I would have this feeling where I'm like, I chose to do this. So this kind of feels like it's my fault. Like it's like, I really don't have any room to be upset because I chose to do this. And like, this is kind of like my thing now. And then it would feel kind of like,
Starting point is 00:53:02 well, now it feels ungrateful. Like what I was going to say ungrateful. Part of like my depression and anxiety is I was like, oh my gosh, like I'm freaking out because I got everything I wanted. And now I'm, quote, unquote, miserable. Exactly. And I was like, I feel guilty for being depressed.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Right. And I feel, yeah, and being upset. And I am genuinely, though, at the same time, so grateful. Right. Like, I can't. But I really mean it I am grateful. Like, because I am. So when I start to spiral, I'm like, stop.
Starting point is 00:53:28 And which makes the spiral worse. Yeah. Because it's like you, yeah, it's the guilt. And I feel like the shame too. Yeah. It's just like any mental illness, the guilt and shame will always get you. Yeah. And so the guilt and shame I'm feeling guilty for something so awesome.
Starting point is 00:53:39 And I even. told my, I said this to The Rock actually when I was talking in. Oh yeah. Because he, believe it or not, asked me for advice on how to deal with people. Oh yeah. You know what though. Yeah. He was like, how do you deal with that? Like he asked me like, because I just feel like the internet is so quick to turn now. Like they're very quick to react. They're very quick to get angry. And he was like asking me how I deal with it. But I told them, I was like, well, control. I have to learn how to let go. Like there's only so much I can do. If someone's made up their mind, they've made up their mind, that kind of thing. I have to. I have to.
Starting point is 00:54:10 work on that and I was like but something my therapist told me to was that she said because I had told her I just feel like I should be used to it by now I feel like and I hear you're literally shaving my head because of that I was like I was supposed to get better at this and it's worse now I'm like I'm somehow worse I got to be bald yeah I have a pretty say that they get used to it which I'm yeah and I think though I also am a naturally sensitive person yeah me too you too yeah I'm like king it just woke all right Yeah, and I'm like, and I was telling my therapist, I feel so angry because I feel like I should be used to it by now. Yeah. And I'm not.
Starting point is 00:54:42 It feels like it gets worse with time, which I don't understand. I don't get why that happens. And then she told me, well, because it's like people saying awful things or things that are not true to you. They're saying about you. So naturally, that's going to make you feel terrible. Yeah. Because you're not a bad person. So she would say, like, that's all actually proof that you're not a bad person because it bothers you.
Starting point is 00:55:02 But she said, honestly, this sounds counterproductive, but I hope you never. get to the point where it doesn't bother you because that would be a whole different issue entirely. So she was like, it should bother you because it's not true and it's mean. Yeah. And it's not indicative of who you are. That's not who you believe yourself to be. So it should bother you. I like that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Yeah. Like, who's your therapist? Yeah. I'll give you a wreck. She's online. I'll give you a wreck. Perfect. I got to hop back in.
Starting point is 00:55:29 Okay. This is a random tip that actually helped me. I would love it. It was like, you can read it once. Just don't read it twice. Because That's a great idea That's a great mentality
Starting point is 00:55:38 Actually and I've noticed that Because the first time I read it I'm like you're so stupid Yeah And then once I go back on the video And I'm like oh my god It has so many likes And then you read again and you're upset
Starting point is 00:55:46 That's actually so really Read again I'm like and it's just like Reopening the wound again and again Yeah because your first reaction is the right one Yes You're stupid and this isn't true Yeah exactly
Starting point is 00:55:55 But then when you go back and you're like But what if it is true Yeah Or you're reading it and you're like Well everyone's liking it So what does that mean Sometimes I feel like I watch videos That aren't funny
Starting point is 00:56:04 And then the third time I watch it, I'm like, this is the funniest video I've seen. But then I let's go back to it. I'm like, this was not that funny. But it's by the third video, when I've seen it, I'm like, this is so funny. So your first reaction is the right one. Yeah, that's the correct one. So I'll be looking back and I'm like, why did I like this? I'm like, it's not funny.
Starting point is 00:56:18 Okay, I just want to really quick to taper us off right there. I think that's another reason why I feel real connected to y'all in terms of how you post because I feel the same way. I feel like I can tell how you guys are feeling towards the internet too in a way that's like, I really, really do love the internet because I do. Like, it's true. I love it. It's given me everything I have today.
Starting point is 00:56:39 I feel grateful for it. And at the same time, I hate it. And I want to call it. I just, I like the people who like me. Yeah. I like everybody that's important. And the people who don't like me for reasons that are insane and crazy. Yes.
Starting point is 00:56:54 Not a fan. Yeah. And I also don't like when I'm trying to share something that I think will help a lot of people. And then people give the counter argument of that. It's mainly that. Yeah. Oh, that was. They just see me.
Starting point is 00:57:02 It's like the. what do they call it, bean soup, bean soup? Yeah, I feel like a lot of the times it's like, I feel like purposefully misunderstood. I'm like, but you've said that you like my content and you've been watching it, so I feel like you would know my character enough to know that I wouldn't ever want to do something like horrible.
Starting point is 00:57:18 Yes, yes. So then that's why the switch just is very confusing because people in real life don't do that. So then it's like, you know what I mean? Like your friends don't, they shouldn't at least. That's exactly what I've said to my sister, like literally last week I was telling her. That's how I feel about some of the internet's reactions to things where I'm like,
Starting point is 00:57:34 you either never leave your house and have no real life friends or you're just doing this to rage bait me because- I think it's got to be the latter. I was like real people in real life don't act this way. Like, at all. Like most people can hold space for like conversation and discourse about random things. Like this is the dumbest fucking shit in the universe. But the summer I turned pretty. That show and my commentary about it, like my bullshit-ass comment.
Starting point is 00:58:00 Terry about is haunting me, bitch. Like, you would believe. Oh, did something? Did he get mad? Girl, I said I was Team Jeremiah, like, before season three, mind you. I swear to God, if you guys bring it to YouTube and get mad all over again. I said it before season three. Once season three came out, he turns into a literal demon from hell in the show.
Starting point is 00:58:17 And everyone was like, I just feel like Drew just like undid everything she's ever done because I said I was team Jeremiah. Years before that. Yeah, they don't have the perspective of the. And I was like, well, it's okay because these are two fake white boys and like who cares. Yeah, exactly. And like, really that part. Yeah. And she's dating brothers. They're brothers. When you posted it. Right. And also like, who cares? I've learned that though, discourse with TV shows gets crazy. Because a love
Starting point is 00:58:43 the show is over and you see the whole thing, you never know what's going to happen. Yeah, exactly. I have to be able to predict. I have to be able to predict all of the endings always and how everybody's feeling always. Exactly. Exactly, which is anxiety. Right. And I also feel like maybe that's kind of the whole fun of like a love triangle show is like, you. pick your favorite and then you get to be like, oh, your team Jacob? That's funny. I'm team Edward. Like, I was like, these people would never have survived when Twilight came out.
Starting point is 00:59:09 If TikTok was around when Twilight came out, oh no, that would have been awful. Were you team Jacob? I was team. I was team. I thought he was Polynesian at first and then I was like he looks like he's from Hawaii. You know it's funny? Me too. I joked before I'm like, if there's a brown guy, I'm picking him.
Starting point is 00:59:23 I was team brown all the time and they were indigenous too. So I was like, yeah, period. Turns out Taylor Loner is a white guy. Yeah. You didn't know that either. Or he has like distant in digits. I guess. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:59:33 You know who's really good looking is, um, he plays one of the, um, one of the wolves, but he has really long hair. Oh, yeah, yeah. He's so handsome. Yeah, that's, that's, that's, I love long hair on a man. Especially on a brown one. Yeah, I know exactly. Because it's like the culture.
Starting point is 00:59:49 Yeah. It's like, I feel it. And you, and you all get it because you live in Hawaii. No, I can feel the mana. It's in the hair. It's in the hair. Okay. Uh, okay.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Uh, okay. Uh, okay. Uh, to pivot. I have some fun facts about y'all. Okay. Are you ready? Well, you can tell me if they're fun. Oh, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:02 So this first one's about Kirsten. In high school, Kirsten was so obsessed with cashews that you became allergic to them. Yes. That's actually E. Related. Oh. That's just, oh, that's just classic E.D. material. Really?
Starting point is 01:00:16 Yeah, because basically it's like, oh. Let me think about it. What was happening? I think I was just like restricting my diet a lot. And I think Kashi felt like a safe food because that's what happens when you have an E. Sorry. Yeah. Bet you didn't expect this.
Starting point is 01:00:32 But it's important that they know. Yeah. Anyway. Yeah. So that's crazy. How did you find that on the side now? That's Amanda. Wow.
Starting point is 01:00:39 That's our producer Amanda. Like that's deep. Oh yeah. Deep in the lore. Deep cut. Um, anyhow. So that's actually also why I'm good at cutting watermelon. Like for my fruit videos.
Starting point is 01:00:48 Really? It's because I cut so many watermelons. Well, if we don't laugh, we'll cry. Yeah. Yeah. That's actually my problem is laughing is my coping mechanism. That's okay. You know, genuinely deep down, I'm sad inside for that girl.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Yeah. Anyway. But now you're here loving her, so that's a good thing. Now I'm here loving her. Yeah, that's a beautiful thing. Yes, thank you. So, yeah, cash is a safe food of mine. And so I ate so many cashews that I got so constipated.
Starting point is 01:01:13 I had to give myself. Yeah, I know what an enema is. You gave it to yourself. To myself. I know, and you're like a kid. Sorry, this is really sad. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:01:24 No, my God. I'm like, okay. No, and I'm like, mind you, I'm like, Five. Well, actually I'm not five, but I'm like so little. I didn't even know what was going on. But now as an adult, I'm like, oh my God. You had to give yourself an enema. Yeah. And it worked. It worked. But then now I can't eat like, I can eat peanuts and I can eat cashews. But if I eat too much, I get constipated. Well, yeah. I mean, I can eat like very little peanut butter. You know what's not that great. It's all right. Yeah, whatever. That's all right. You're not
Starting point is 01:01:52 missing out. It makes me really gas. Don't tell her. You're not more, you're not missing out. Yeah. So it's not to happen. But yeah, the doctor was literally like, you ate so many. You now have an aversion. Yeah. I was like, and I do. Yeah, and he's no more cash use for you. And he said, that's okay.
Starting point is 01:02:05 I've had enough for a lifetime. Okay. We'll move on to hopefully another fun fact. Okay. This one will actually be fun. Okay, Erica joined the track team in high school, but hated running so you did pole vault. Oh, that's exactly true.
Starting point is 01:02:17 Yeah. No, I literally hated running. And I wasn't good at anything else. And I'm not fast. So, but here's a thing. Our dad was very much, you have to be doing it. activity. It could have been anything. Like they did speech and debate in high school. Yeah. Because he just wanted us to have like some kind of extracurricular to be into.
Starting point is 01:02:32 My parents were the same, yeah. Yeah. And I think it's actually a really good rule to have. Yeah. To involve yourself in different communities. So yeah. I was doing Cotta Tate like since forever. And I was starting to get sick of it because all my friends had quit. And so it was just me and I was and I started to lose. I was like, okay, I don't like it anymore. I'm literally losing. What the heck. Because all the other kids like had hit puberty and I had hit puberty and I had it. So now I'm like sparring and I'm getting my ass beat and I'm like, okay, great because we're still, we're not doing weight divisions. We're doing age groups. and everybody's fucking thinking than me. Okay, love that.
Starting point is 01:02:58 So he was like, well, if you're going to quit, you got to join something else. But by then, the good speech and debate coach that they had had moved to a different school. So I was like, I don't really want to do speech and debate if it's not like the same coach that they had. Right. So I was like, oh, what's like a sport that's like kind of like anybody can do it? And I was like, track and field. I was like, I've got to do something. And so I did pole vault.
Starting point is 01:03:18 I was really bad at it. But you know what? I did it. And I didn't have to do a cut of day anymore. But, you know, I got over. the pole occasionally. Yeah. He said I was there.
Starting point is 01:03:28 I was participating. Yeah, for sure. I had the uniform on and everything. But by my junior year, I actually went through puberty. So then I grew a bit and then I started doing hurdles because I was tall enough to get over them. Just like Bretman. Yeah, but I was bad at it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:41 Bretman was good. Bretman has talent and I have, I just didn't want to do cut it to anyone. Yeah, and I just had a lot of free time. So what are we going to do with that? You know, I, when I was a senior, no, junior in high school and my sister was a senior. and my man actually went to our high school, so he was a senior too. Oh, what? Really?
Starting point is 01:04:00 Yeah, we've known each other since high school. And we were not high school sweetheart, so I have to say that. Yes. We'd actually, like after college, actually. Oh, after college. And you guys, he went to UH too, though. No, no. He went to UNLV for a bit, and then he went to APU, which is like.
Starting point is 01:04:14 But I feel like from what I've seen, I remember watching videos, he had been plotting on you. Yeah, because I knew he'd been plotting. I thought you'd been in college. I thought you'd really seen once you were high school. No, yeah, I've known since high school. Wow. He had been plotting. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:24 It was one of those things where like when we look back at it now, it's like funny to look at it now. Because I quite literally, it was just me and my sister were the only people in our entire high school that did not like want him. And it's because I viscerally hated men even worse than I do now. And like, and then my sister was a lesbian. Yeah. She just didn't know it yet. And my sister was like, honestly, that's probably how I should have known I was a lesbian because he was the only boy I did not have a crush on in high school. I was like, yuck!
Starting point is 01:04:53 but she liked all these other horrible men. My sister always had a crush and it was always on a boy that I was like, what is the matter with you? What is the matter with you? But when we were in high school together, the end of senior year, my mom was always like, you have to be in a sport. So like I played volleyball and then I would do soccer. And then for spring I did track and field because I was like,
Starting point is 01:05:14 I was like, I don't want to fucking run. And then my sister was going to throw. So I was like, okay, fuck it, I'll throw. And then we joined the throwing team. and then Billy actually copied us because we just like we lettered it was pretty easy to letter and then he just copied us and he brought all his friends so we all threw together on the track of field team was it like a shock put moment? Yeah, we did shop put in discus and I did just well enough to make varsity to like hang out with
Starting point is 01:05:40 my sister and my friends. That's more than well enough. Yeah, but other than that I was like I'm not doing this sport. I was so bad at discus. I didn't give a fuck. I like I would throw it into that every time and be like, ugh. Well, and then I would just get off and go talk. to my friends.
Starting point is 01:05:53 But I was like, I'm just here so my mom doesn't tell me to join something else. No, that's what it was. I was like, I don't care about doing well. Don't care about doing well at all. And even like my coach would like tell my sister, if your sister just took it seriously, like if she just really locked in and my sister was like, she's not going to do that. She's here to talk. Yeah, I'm here to chat.
Starting point is 01:06:12 I'm here to gab. I'm a personality hire on this team. That's what I'm doing here. I'm cracking jokes, girl. That's what I'm doing. Okay. Next one of Kirsten, it says Kirsten once threw up. after a pole dancing class because you were spinning so fast.
Starting point is 01:06:26 Oh, well, that's half the story. Yeah, no. The other half is insane. The other half is, are you a fan of Texas Roadhouse? Yeah. Me too, or so I was. Or so, yeah, before they made you an op. Yes, no, so we went to Texas Roadhouse.
Starting point is 01:06:41 There was like 10 of us, and then three of us got food poisoning to the point where we were hospitalized. Oh my God. Yeah, and you were one of those three? I was on three, and we all ordered something different. So how weird is that? No. It's like a sanitary issue.
Starting point is 01:06:55 It's Texas Roadhouse issue. It's like a coli. Oh my God. So I went to the pool dancing class the day after I went to Texas Roadhouse. Mind you, I ate the Texas Roadhouse then the next day as my leftovers, right? So you had two days of Texas roadhouse? Yeah. My friend texted me, she's like, I'm sick.
Starting point is 01:07:08 I'm like, weird. She was like, I can't go to the pool dancing class. I was like, I'm going eating my freaking steak. And then. You got carb loading before the pole dancing class. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And then I start pool dancing. I'm like, oh my God, I'm so sick.
Starting point is 01:07:19 And I'm thinking it's because I'm spinning so fast. Yeah. So then I start, like, throw. Growing up in the bathroom, I'm like, wow, just, like, so nauseous from, like, pool dancing. And then I got home and started throwing up blood. Oh, my gosh. We fuck. That scary lettuce disease started there.
Starting point is 01:07:34 Literally. At that Texas Roadhouse. That's ground zero. In Oregon, Utah. That's patient one. Oh, my God. Yeah, went to the hospital. You know, I ate at an olive garden in Utah, and I got violent food poisoning.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Oh, my gosh. So there's something going on in Utah. Utah is. I don't know they have you cool. Probably. Right? Because it's like, it's on the... Yeah, it's punishing all the Mormons over there.
Starting point is 01:07:56 I'm kidding. I'm kidding, obviously. Also, do you guys like Chukorama? I've never been. It's in Utah. It's a Utah's a bushelms. That's like Eric's worst nightmare. Oh my God, is it?
Starting point is 01:08:06 It's like the most mid buffet of your entire life. It's not that great. But I love it. No, no sushi. No, there's nothing. If there is fish there, you should not eat it. You shouldn't have it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:08:16 But it's like, well, it's in Utah. That was the first place I went to a chukerama was in Utah. Uh-huh. in St. George, Utah, specifically. And I was like, this is, I love a good buffet. Yeah. So, like, it's a buffet, but it's like the most racist people in the entire universe are there. So that's something you have to keep in mind.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Yeah. That being said, the food was awesome. Oh, really? I fucked with it. I loved it. Oh. It was like, I love, like, diner food. Like, old people kind of food.
Starting point is 01:08:41 Like, the shit that old people would fuck with, I like that. Okay, nice. So I'm like, every time someone goes to Utah, I'm like, you should go to Chuck Carama. Oh, so you like, okay. And you get your money's worth because it's buffet. I'm like, though, you really get your money's worth. I'm saying. It's very mid. It's not like, it's not amazing. But that's not what I ever really
Starting point is 01:08:56 expect from any, like, buffet like that. Yeah, exactly. Well, especially not a place called Chuck Arama. Yeah, when you said it, I was like, I was like, have we switched topics? I was like, I don't know if we're talking about food anymore. I was like, I don't know what this is. Have you been to pizza? Have you been to pizza? No, I haven't. It's just like Chuck Arama. Or like Cici's pizza or like unlimited pizzas. Oh, no, no, no, I've never been there. Well, I used to bring like Ziploc bags in college and then I would chuck the pizza in the Ziploc bag. Hey, I paid the money. Yeah, and then I would eat it the day after. That's, well, and good thing you didn't get any food poisoning.
Starting point is 01:09:24 And I didn't get food poisoning. And it was only $12. Unlike Texas Roadhouse. I've never done a pole dancing class. Are they fun? I mean, I was so nauseous, but it seems fun. You're all, I don't remember. I was too busy thinking about my steak from Texas Roadhouse.
Starting point is 01:09:38 But you don't throw up their fun. But yeah, I would recommend going with friends. Only thing is the back of my legs were so bruised after. Because it gets like, you really got to hold on. Yeah, you're like banging up against that pole a million times. Also, the pole spins. We should go. That would be fun. I would love that. I would love to. I just took a workout class with my girlfriend
Starting point is 01:09:56 last night. I went to Bar Method. Oh, did you like bar? I liked it. I enjoyed myself. Honestly, I was like, I haven't taken a workout class in, I don't even know how long. I just go to the regular gym. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So like what I had never in a million years gone like to anything like that. So I did it and I sweat through my bra. Holy shit. I sweat so crazy. And at the end, we stretched a lot, which I loved. And then she turned the lights off and she was like, let's take some deep breaths. And at the end, she goes, and thank yourself for showing up today. And I was like, you know what, hell yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:26 You know what? Yeah. Ladies, I'm loving it. Ladies, let's give ourselves a hand. We did. I really felt so inspired by it. I was like, God, I love being a girl. Aw.
Starting point is 01:10:34 A lot of yoga classes, I'm like, why are we getting like a motivational speech at that? I know. Yeah. And me, like, tearing up at the end. I was like, wow. I should thank myself for showing up. Have you seen that TikTok where it's like, when your instructor is like, and remember your why today.
Starting point is 01:10:47 But my why is the $15 cancellation fee. Right, yeah, for real. And they would have charged me 30 bucks if I didn't charge them. That did motivate me to get there. Exactly. I'm like, no, I'm not paying a cancellation fee. I was like, I loved all the women in there. I loved that it was an all women class and there was a woman teaching it.
Starting point is 01:11:03 Yeah, that's what I like to. And they are like very inspiring. I'm like, wow, love that. This is beautiful. Ladies, I love it. Okay, last fun fact about Erica. Erica played Callie on a show called Crown Lake that used to have posters up in our old studio.
Starting point is 01:11:20 Literally. Like that was like in the abyss of my memory. Like that is like peak when my brain wasn't even present. Like but but crown like from what I remember about it, it was actually so much fun and like the the team was really fun to work with and they were super fun and kind. Same with because I think they wanted a bunch of like TikTokers to be on the season that I was on. I just looked absolutely insane every episode because my character had this thing where she
Starting point is 01:11:44 always had to have bright blue eye shadow on. And then they were like put it on her. Put it on the Asian girl Put it on the Asian girl I don't think I was anything to do with it But they're like put that girl in bright blue eye shadow She can do it And I had like these really thick eyebrows
Starting point is 01:11:59 Which were great But paired with like my like damaged blonde hair Like it just looked insane It was like thick eyebrows Dark eyebrows blonde hair Blue eye shadow Like no sense of self That's actually one of the biggest fights
Starting point is 01:12:13 Me and Erica got into I didn't have a sense of her boundaries Just now Now I wouldn't be more understanding but I was like, we were going to a Lakers game, and I was like, Erica, come through. Yeah. I was like, you just finish your crown lake shooting.
Starting point is 01:12:22 I had a blue eye shadow on. And I was like, I don't want to. She was like, I was like, come. Yeah. Come. Yeah. So she comes. It's like with the team of like managers.
Starting point is 01:12:31 Like there are people there that are like are important. Yes. Well, so one of her favorite YouTubers is there. And I'm like, you're favorite YouTubers is there. Oh my God. She's like, I want to. She's like, I'm wearing blue eyeshows. I was like, just go see high.
Starting point is 01:12:41 Who is the YouTuber. You can bleep it. You can believe it. I'll bleep it for you. Okay, no, no. So now I've met them since. Okay. And I've met them multiple times.
Starting point is 01:12:48 Without blue eyeshadow. Without blue eyeshadow. They have been nicer to me when I'm not wearing blue eyeshows. That's funny. You're like, oh, now you want to be nice to me when I don't have my blue eye shadow on. Exactly. It was, um, it was a man. It was.
Starting point is 01:13:05 You have permission to put a photo in. Yeah, literally. Like, I just looked absolutely insane. Like, also, I'm not doing my own. It's like the makeup artist, so she's like, yes, let's put it on, pack it on. So she's packing on the blue eye shadow. And it's like also not, it's like turquoise. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:22 But oh, the person to question was, um, you, as in a, uh, oh, I see. Yes. Yeah, yeah. But I mean, I love them. Which is the most random person. No, no, but, you know, we didn't even know who he was. I didn't know what was a big deal. Wait, .
Starting point is 01:13:35 Yes, because it's just, yeah, yes, yes, yes, so it's just like a fun group of people. Anyway, but he was there. And I was like, we've never been in person. He's like, you'd be nice. Anyway, so. It was nicer to you when you weren't in the blue eye shadow. That makes sense. You're like, not even close.
Starting point is 01:13:47 No, no, no. I'm going to tell you what happened the first time. Oh, please do. We're at this Lakers game. Kirsten is like, no, no, no, you have to introduce yourself. I'm like, I literally look crazy. Oh, this is one of your favorite YouTubers. I didn't know who we was.
Starting point is 01:13:56 I was like, no, I literally don't know who a lot of people are either. Yeah. So I was like, who cares. My sister knows who everyone is and I don't know anyone. That's her. Yeah. Actually, no, we switch off. I know about half the internet.
Starting point is 01:14:05 She's the other half. Yeah. But this is literally, I'm going to pretend that you're me And then Kirsten is Kirsten. Okay. So, um, Kirsten's like, we should say hi. So Kirsten comes up. And then I come up and I go, hi.
Starting point is 01:14:19 And he goes, hi. Cucked for your sister. And I said, it's my blue eye shadow, isn't it? No, I know. That's why you're treating me that way? Oh, that's what I didn't know. I fucking knew it. This is why I told you I didn't want to come.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Yeah, that's a start a fight with my sister in front of them. No, genuine. And it was so bad. I'm making it awkward for everyone. Everyone. You don't want to be rude to me? Okay, I'm gonna blow it up then. It was so bad that her manager was even like, wow, he just graced right past you.
Starting point is 01:14:44 Like I was thrown up publicly. He said, I can't talk to this woman. She has blue eye shadow. I can't handle it. I can't be doing that. And every since I've met him after I just have a really bad taste and I'm like, oh. And you should because he's rude. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:58 I'll say it. He's fucking rude. Oh, really? Yes, I have. I don't, I wasn't expecting that. And I wasn't wearing blue eye shadow. You weren't even wearing blue eye shadow. I think it's just my general.
Starting point is 01:15:06 energy. No. Not nicer when you're not wearing blue eye shadow, though. You should try wearing blue eye shadow. I should. Next time I see him, I'm going to. I want to see how he treats me. But that was a reality.
Starting point is 01:15:16 I'm going to freak out either way. Whether it's good or bad, I'm not freak out. But good to know that. Well, you know what? I've had quite a few interactions too with, like, I would say more so than anything. And I haven't had a ton of negative interactions, but like the ones I have had have been with like content creators. It's interesting.
Starting point is 01:15:35 They haven't been with like, actual celebrities. Actual celebrities are not like that if you can believe it. I feel like they got to be more. I don't know if it's like the lack of PR training, but I feel like celebrities could be just horrible if they want to do. So I don't know. Yeah, that's why.
Starting point is 01:15:45 Yeah, it's kind of shocking. It's like you would think that they would be more inclined to be rude. But I think maybe it also could just be that they're just fearful. Like everyone's constantly watching them. So maybe they're just better trained at it. But like, yeah, the most negative interactions I've ever had have been with like social people or reality TV people. What's the like the rudest interaction? Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:06 I know you've shared a lot on your podcast. What's one you haven't shared? God. I'm trying to think of like the rudest like ever where like actually pissed me off and made me upset. Oh, mm-hmm. Well, it was actually, it was one creator who was a reality star and then became a creator. Oh, well, okay. But it was a girl, so I'll say that.
Starting point is 01:16:25 I'll just use like she, her pronouns. But she met me and my sister who I take like everywhere. I take Dace everywhere with me like a lot of times. So we went to this big dinner. It was like this big branded dinner. And there was like a lot of concert. It was all concert creators, but there wasn't that many of us. There was only like maybe 12 of us.
Starting point is 01:16:42 And we were sitting on one side of the table. And she came around to introduce herself to me. And she was like, hey, like I'm so-and-so, like huge fucking fan, blah, blah, blah. I was like, oh, nice to meet you. And I was like, and I always like, I'm like, this is my sister Dason. And I always introduce her. And then so I said, this is my sister Dason. And she goes, hi.
Starting point is 01:17:01 And then she goes, oh, my God, do you just feel so. lucky to my sister. Like they have had no interaction thus far. She didn't even acknowledge her. That's why I introduced her. Yeah. And then she was like, my sister goes, what do you mean? And she goes, just to be riding your sister's coattails, is that just like the
Starting point is 01:17:17 fucking best? Like I always, every time my brother tries to come with me somewhere, I'm always like, you better kiss my feet before you go. Oh, and that's the first interaction. That was the very first interaction with me and her, which I get very angry if you're rude to people who are with me. You know, because that's different. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:33 That's your friends. whoever it is. Like, if you're fucking rude to them, like, they send jokes about this all the time, but she's like, when people are rude to me, I'm always like, guess who's never coming on the comment section? No, and I take that dead ass.
Starting point is 01:17:48 Like, I'm like, yeah, no, never. I don't care how famous you get. And it's funny because she did that. And I was like, I was so irritated, but I was like, you know, it's a brand thing. I don't want to be too rude. So when she said that, my sister didn't even say anything because like, what do you fucking say to that?
Starting point is 01:18:03 And then I went, it's really nice to me. you. And then I just turned my back to her because I was like, go to your fucking seat. Fast forward, right? To Renaissance. Like when we went, I got invited by Sacred, which is now Sacred about the time we didn't know. But it was like this huge secret thing that we did where we got to go see Renaissance on the, on Beyonce's birthday. Brettman was with me. And so was Rame and Alicia. And like we went. And it was fucking awesome. It was so, it was such a fun trip. But that girl was there too. I don't know why she's not in the video. Good luck finding her. But she's, um, but she's, She was also in there, I think, with someone else.
Starting point is 01:18:37 And she came up to us and then only wanted to talk to my sister. Completely different energy. Yeah, because she was like, I don't know if you remember me, like to me, to my sister. And my sister goes, no, I remember you. And then she was like, oh, like, yeah, you're just like so amazing. Like completely different energy. Because shortly after that interaction, she has to come on my show like two or three times. Oh, obviously I said no.
Starting point is 01:19:01 Yeah. And then like this Renaissance show happens. We're kind of brushing her off because I'm like, I don't like you. So get away for me. And then at one point she got so fucked up. And she like her top had broken. So she had put on like the free merch they gave us. And this she comes up to us later in the day.
Starting point is 01:19:17 And she's drunk as hell. And she's like, are you guys having the best time? And we're like, yeah, like trying to enjoy the concert. And she was like, me too. I'm like, woo! She starts going like this. Pulls up her shirt flashes us. And I wish I.
Starting point is 01:19:31 I'm not making that up. Like, I'm so dead out. I have never been more. What the fuck? I was so pissed off. I was like, first you're rude as fuck to my sister. Two years later, you flash me, bitch. Get away from me.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Oh my God, I'm going to beat the shit out of you. Like, I'm going to beat your ass. Get away from me, bitch. Oh my God. She did that shit. And then be like, who. Bouncing. I swear to God.
Starting point is 01:19:57 Puts the shirt down. I'm so angry. I look here. I go, turn around. I let me go. turn around and watch the show because I'm like don't talk to me I and I'm not gonna fuck up my relationship with sacred by freaking out on you. Oh, turn around and I said turn around and watch the show. She didn't turn around again.
Starting point is 01:20:13 I just said you better face that way the rest of the fucking night. I swear to God, I'm pissed. That was probably the worst one. I would say that's probably the worst one I've had yeah. Oh, the layers to it. I just wasn't expecting the flashing around it, she hit me with a 180. I was so confused. I'm like, she's like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm just, she's like, I'm I know it'll fix it. Yeah, exactly. This usually works. I know it'll fix it.
Starting point is 01:20:39 Oh, man. I'll do something that traumatizes all of us. That's just so crazy. So, yeah, I've seen that girl's tits and I was very upset about it. I didn't ask you and she forced me to and you are never coming on my show bitch. You are never coming on my fucking show. You know who you are. You are not invited.
Starting point is 01:20:56 It's very upset about it. I know. I was very upset about it. Wait, do you guys want to hear something else I just remembered right now? Yeah. You know those stupid ass? like happy five year anniversary things they're doing on TikTok.
Starting point is 01:21:06 Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Did it just pop up? No, that girl just sent me one. Because she was my mutual at one. What? What she sent me one? Literally yesterday. And I was like, get away.
Starting point is 01:21:19 You fucking demon. You've seen it all. You literally see a girl. I don't like you. I don't know what else you could get from our interactions, but you know. Some people can't take a hint. Some people can't read a room.
Starting point is 01:21:29 It is what it is. Oh, man. I'll probably see her again. And she'll be like, Wow, so good to speak. Who knows what else will flash? Remember these? Okay, well.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Oh my God, that's hilarious. On that note, on that shaking tits note, thank you both for coming on the show. Oh, we literally had the best time. I fucking adore you both.
