Starting point is 00:00:00 When you know to avoid him on the days his team has lost a match. You avoid him by never dating him or talking him ever again. All the police is how you avoid him. Hey everyone and welcome back to the Common Section Show starring me, your favorite, everyone's favorite, except the terrible man. What else is new? Today I have a very, very special guest, the one and only bootleg Megs, aka Meg. Hi. Hi.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Hello. Welcome. Thank you. Thank you for having me on. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited to have you. We were just talking about how we found each other during the pandemic. COVID quarantine hit. And I think just about the same time when I was blowing up, I think October end.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Yeah. It was when I want to say pre-drew blowing up really big. That is true. This was free to million free. I was like, funny. Because it just sounded like me and my friends talking shit. Yeah. Which is the best thing to do, honestly.
Starting point is 00:01:01 Just very. It's therapeutic. It is. self-care, if you will. But specifically about terrible men. Very much. Because it's, I think the internet, when we were all inside, the internet made all of us realize we all have very specifically terrible shared experiences.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Yeah, absolutely. And before it was like, in the workplace, harassment. And I was like, the same dude did the same thing. Yeah, literally. Well, it's also, I think one of those things where, like, we were all so like, like, I mean, still, I guess, for lack of a better. word that we had no choice but to pay attention very closely to each other and other things that people were doing and that's kind of how I got started almost like by accident
Starting point is 00:01:42 exactly so like you and I were mutuals far before I really blew up ground floor an OG right here but I found you because you were always telling funny stories about your college experiences which I love love and adore it up I'm a cheesemosa at the end of the day I'm big nosy person. Fuck yes. Gossip. Yeah, when you tell me stories, I'm locked in. I don't know anyone you're talking about, but I'm listening.
Starting point is 00:02:09 You know what I mean? I love to laugh and you're so funny and I stand a funny bitch. Thank you. Feeling is neutral. Thank you. Funny women? And men hate that. Men hate a funny bitch.
Starting point is 00:02:21 They really hate it when you're funnier than them. They do. Can you ever tell? Immediately. Immediately. Actually, this is a big thing in college too because I'm in a film-based program. The Quentin Tarrant. You know Jay Stubbs on TikTok?
Starting point is 00:02:34 No. She's so great, but she was on my show too, but she is a film major, and she also talks about film. That's like her thing on TikTok. And she deals with film bros all the time. She's like, I won't even talk about Star Wars because I just like don't want to do with it. Any class, call in Tarantino. Why?
Starting point is 00:02:52 Why? Give me one reason. Other than Pulp Fiction. And also, this is a white man who says the N-word. Why do you like him? Why do you like when in anything? Unpack it. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:01 Maybe look inward. Or you like feet. Yeah. I guess. Well, it's like, that's what my brain immediately goes to if you say that's your favorite director and or film. And it's... Also, the sexual assault scenes in every movie. Every film is very violent.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Yeah. And I'm like, listen. Cool. Okay? Styleistic violence. What story? Yeah. What is it serving the purpose for?
Starting point is 00:03:22 Unpack it. You're right there. That's what I always think. But yeah, film rose was like a new species. Yeah, they're like a new, like, there's like, you know, like, you know, like, gym bros there's like alpha podcast males and then there's like film bros there's the jocks yeah they're all they're all in like the very terrible food pyramid you know what i mean for me huh dinner yeah i think too uh when it comes to men like not liking certain dudes who don't like
Starting point is 00:03:50 when you're funnier i can sniff it like a drug dog in the airport they get quiet yeah they like wait for you to shut up yeah like when you're being funny and you want to be bantering Yeah. There's a difference when you're just waiting to tell someone to shut up. And you're like, you can tell me to shut up, but be funny. Yeah. Give me something. Give me, where's the meat?
Starting point is 00:04:10 Yeah, give me. Just sauce. I'm starving. Plates full. You know what I mean? And it's a big thing in classes. Because in classes, like acting classes, especially if they can one or two, just it's a class. We're all paying to do this thing.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Yeah, it's part of it. Do your assignment and leave. Yeah. Workshopping your tight five. In between. When they're like, okay, how is your weekend? let me tell you. Yeah, their elevator pitch.
Starting point is 00:04:33 It's like if someone is in the room to discover you, now's the time to do it. This teacher, this 45-year-old man who has taught the same curriculum. Yeah, literally. For the last 25 years. He's not going to discover you, but I've kind of picked that out actually on TikTok when there's like other prominent male creators who operate within the same like space as me as far as like we get invited to the same thing. So similar opportunity and they don't follow me.
Starting point is 00:04:59 I think that's telling. I really do. I think it's telling. At this point, it's telling. Because it's like, if you don't like me, why? Because you could not find me funny, that's fine, right? But like, if you don't like me, why? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:05:15 What is the reason? No, there are a few, I would say, especially male comedians. I like use the term liberally even for myself, because I'm screaming in my room. Yeah. It's very liberally calling me a comedian. Yeah. When I meet them at events and some of them have a very, I don't know, they just feel like, this is it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:35 They're like very holier than the moment. They're all extremely lame. You realize this? We're all like talking to our phone and other people like it. Just be humans. Well, also when it's space where it's just us and there's no fans, you don't have to do the bit here. Yeah. No, just fans are like, industry people, I guess.
Starting point is 00:05:52 And I'm like, bro, just say hi. You don't have to do the bit here, babe. I'm also a creator. A mile away. Yeah, they're like. They're like, so anyways, what's the deal with airplane food? Am I right? I tweeted yesterday about airplane food.
Starting point is 00:06:06 Did you? I did. That's a go-to for me. So what about that in a lamb food? A better joke has not been written. Why? No, I don't know. It's the funniest joke to make about two people who aren't funny.
Starting point is 00:06:18 Or to say, is this thing on? One of those. Tough crowd. Real, like, you know what I mean? I think sometimes too when I meet other men who I'm, whether it's in like the creator space are just like in real life. You can literally sense when they don't like when women are funnier than that. Because you'll crack a couple jokes.
Starting point is 00:06:36 You know when you crack jokes and you're like, these are my crowd, like, these are my home runs. Every time I say them, I bring the house down every time. And then there's one dude who's like fighting the laugh to urge, or the urge to laugh. He's literally good. Looking you up and down just. Yeah. I'm like, I know I got you a little. What else you got?
Starting point is 00:06:54 Yeah. And everyone else is laughing and they're the only one who's not. hater. It's an eager thing. Yeah, it's a hater thing. I can, I'm funnier, so I'm not going to give up my laughter. Yeah. Dogs licking themselves are funny.
Starting point is 00:07:09 You don't have to be like amazing to be funny dog. Someone like stumbling is funny. Children falling. A fart? Funny. Fart jokes hit every time. The most like low brow type of humor makes me laugh. Like when I tell people, when dudes will like call me like,
Starting point is 00:07:27 what do you do for your bulk, which is just like asking me how I put on weight. I just tell them I take ligma. And then they go ligma and I go ligma balls. That's such a self-report to ask how you bulk. Why are you telling me you're weak? That's what I said. You're asking me?
Starting point is 00:07:42 That's what exactly what I said. For free. You want personal training advice for free? I'm like, that's going to charge you. It's going to cost a lot more. Hourly bit. For me to watch you workout and then tell you. That's an hour and a half.
Starting point is 00:07:53 I know. I told someone, I literally made a joke about that because I posted a video and I made a joke about fantasy football. I was like, tell the worst dude you know to put me in a tight end on your fantasy football team this weekend, which is a funny joke. And then a bunch of like 14 year old white kids are like more like left guard, which is an O lineman. Those are typically the big boys, like the bigger men. Ah, right? So then when I said, I said this joke would hit if O linemen scored points for you in fantasy, they don't.
Starting point is 00:08:25 So now you're not only admitting to me that you don't understand. understand football, but you're also, it's like a failed fat joke. Swinging a mess, bitch. A whiff. Don't even. Crowds booing. Don't like football. Don't even like fantasy football. Yeah, like, literally. You don't even know fake football. The version you play in your couch, even that you're bad. Fantasy football. I literally saw someone once tweet that they're like, men want to joke about how astrology isn't real when they play a game of spreadsheets six months a year. Oh, I've never been the same since I saw it. So funny. I had a real debate about this with my friends. about the things we find entertaining
Starting point is 00:09:00 are whatever stupid shit reality TV TikTok even drama videos this is this was this is the thing stupid drama videos about like YouTube drama yeah like too unfortunate nonsense that I like to keep up with same getting an argument about why like how is it useful like this doesn't matter to you like why is it I'm like in principle why is it different than sports you're watching like watching them you're watching
Starting point is 00:09:27 dudes play a game. In kindergarten they played this game. And when they're like 40, they're like, I'll play it but angry. And I'll get paid a lot. And then they buy... And like, what's the difference between like buying merch from like Harry Styles and like buying a jersey with a grown man's name on the back?
Starting point is 00:09:43 What's the difference? That's merch, babe. Nothing. You're a fan girl. They're like, no, it's about the play statistics and the, you know, how they work. And how they... Shut up.
Starting point is 00:09:54 You're a fan. You like them. You're a fan. It's okay. They're cute. Rado cute. You, hey,
Starting point is 00:09:59 they come out, you scream. What's the difference? What's the difference between that and me at Harry Ween? What's the difference? Harry Styles singing,
Starting point is 00:10:06 dancing, froncing on stage, a man in clothes, in costume, running around with balls. Yeah, and I'm watching. Big difference. Yeah, he has balls. And then there's men playing with balls
Starting point is 00:10:17 who also have balls. What's the difference? All the same. Because it's what they like. That's why I'm, yeah, and I talked about that with Jay Sobes too because we talked about how like,
Starting point is 00:10:26 anything women like is inherently bad all of a sudden, like they make fun of it, it's silly, it's like, it's stupid. It has to be criticized or like be critically analyzed in some way and in a way that doesn't like apply to the other person. Not at all. It doesn't go backwards. I'm like, just like the shit you like, man.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Yeah, and it's okay. Well, and also I like, I enjoy football. I boycotted it for a while because I got fired from the NFL. That was, that was me thing. But like I enjoy football. That's what I like watching it. I don't make it my whole personality. So that's why I don't care who wins and who loses.
Starting point is 00:11:00 I don't care at all. Because it doesn't affect me at the end of the day. And I always think like the men who like refuse to wash clothes who like like that are like it's like good luck. You know what I mean? That kind of shit or like they get angry and destroy things. I saw TikTok. I was like when you know to avoid him on the days his team has lost a match. Do you avoid him by never dating him or talking to him ever again?
Starting point is 00:11:26 Call the police is how you avoid him. Yeah, literally. Pack up your things and leave. That's how you avoid him. You hear a match losing in your like, I should leave my own house? I'll be damned. We're living in a Black Mirror episode.
Starting point is 00:11:38 What's happening? I'll be damned if Tom Brady runs me out my own house. I'll be damned, bitch. And, oh my God. Imagine if like Tyler Oakley had tea and I'm like, I'm pissed. The world we feel. Leave the house.
Starting point is 00:11:50 My wrath today. Because James Charles' pallet or whatever. Yeah. Get out. I have, I have, I go and punch a hole in the wall because of it. It's cost structural damage. It's so funny. It's so funny too because my boyfriend plays fantasy football sometimes and I have told
Starting point is 00:12:09 people that's arguably the straightest thing about him. Mm-hmm. Is wanting to play that and wanting to win? And he laughed and was like, you're right. He laughed and said, you're right, you're right. It is. It's a sickness. I can't. Every man I've asked.
Starting point is 00:12:19 Explain it to me. What is it? Is it a video game? No. It's pretend. It's, it's literally cosplaying. If you think about it? What's the difference between that and reading fan fiction?
Starting point is 00:12:29 Same. One step better. Because you pay money to do it. You lose money. It's literally Wapad for men, for grown men, because they're writing their own fantasy in their head. They're like, if this is, if I was a... If my team was this. If I was a coordinator, this is the team I would assemble.
Starting point is 00:12:46 That's imaginary. You're imagining. Zoldo. I mean, you can do it. You just can't shit on other things that women like or fan-presenting people. Literally the point. I'm like everything everyone does inherently is frivolous. Yeah. Stupid. Silly.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Everything we do. We have a phone that we talk to. Shit, man. We can unpack that for so long. Yeah, literally, it's so silly. Who cares? I'll watch those tea videos until my eyeballs fall out, bitch. They'll fall into my mouth like a skeleton. I will watch every single one of them. I can't stop. I will tune in. And I don't care about...
Starting point is 00:13:20 Me either. I don't care at all. Never, but I have to watch. I'll watch all three minutes. Part 1, two, and three. I'll watch all of them. I'll literally go in the comments. The documentary style one? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:29 You got me. Four hours. I'll go in the comments and like the first one's like part two and I'm out click. Bookmarks. Bookmark for later. No, literally. Yeah. Sometimes I'll send them to my sister and I'm like, I need to remember to watch the rest of this later.
Starting point is 00:13:43 So everyone's in a silly goofy mood. You know, just let them be silly in their way. Why not? Why not? That's why being funny is so subjective, obviously because like what's funny to one person may not be funny to the next. but like silly shit is always funny my peak sense of humor right now is like a bass boosted image a shopping cart with like a
Starting point is 00:14:02 sound and it says like nothing lobster oh fuck that shit get me some of the ones that I laugh so hard at like I once followed I didn't follow the account but I kept watching the videos it was like it was just this guy he would put a jar of mayonnaise he would like put it he would throw it up and then he would slow mo it and then you'd put like a Metallica song on it
Starting point is 00:14:22 and then all the comments were like too political. That's peak humor to me. Hilarious. Mayonez on an escalator. I thought you were going to say that. It's just a dude that says, I'm a simp, and it's supposed to be like
Starting point is 00:14:34 explanations for each word, like each letter for sim. This is a simp, it spells down, and for the M, it says, mayonnaise on an escalator. It's just a jar of mayonnaise on an escalator. What?
Starting point is 00:14:46 Got me? Three million views. What is this app, man? $3 million. 50,000 comments. Amazing. That's why it's not. laugh harder. Let's laugh. Yeah, it's so funny.
Starting point is 00:14:57 It's not funny. Speaking of funny, your college experiences, how would you, how do you feel about college experiences as a whole, the social aspect of it? I will say I'm very blessed. Yeah. I'm just throughout all my friends, you know who you are. They like really made everything so memorable. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:16 But it comes with it's, you know, good and bad, like everything. So I think at the end of my college life, looking back at it, I feel like I see patterns, not just for me and my, I guess, life cycle of friendships, but everyone, like your first friend group, most exciting, never lasts. There's like two friends you make and you like,
Starting point is 00:15:35 hold on to them for dear life. Yeah, yeah. And it goes through it. And it's very, I don't know, I think York, though, the university, just... It's up to you. It's fine. The university, non-descript universities that I go to. Very diverse. Lots of people from all over the world
Starting point is 00:15:56 And it's like super different than my city Where I grew up from, it was very homogenous And that I loved Just like seeing everybody Like, you know, amalgamate And somehow like know the same things And talk to each other about, you know, similar interest Not just in your like program or whatever
Starting point is 00:16:13 But generally I loved it But stories for sure Yeah, literally that's the best Yeah, I graduated from college in 2017 So I went, I went to the University of Hawaii. But, like, that was really cool because I got to move away from home. But I got to, like, meet people from all different types of backgrounds and different places.
Starting point is 00:16:35 And there's a lot of international students and stuff as well at UH. So that was something that was my favorite part of college. Because I feel like I've, you know, if you want to go to some sort of secondary education, I, like, highly encourage you to do so if you can and you want to. I think it makes you a better person. at the end of the day. It forces you to unlearn your biases. Oh my God, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Absolutely. Am I terrible person? It's funny too. Don't be anymore. Yeah, exactly. I worked out the real last of my pick-meism, like my freshman year of college, like going into college,
Starting point is 00:17:09 because obviously in high school you're at your like apex of pick me. Give me. Yeah, oh my God, yeah. And then once you go into the real world, it's almost like it got ripped out of me almost immediately because you're in an environment where you're like almost pseudo adults so you're an adult you're living on your own but you're not fully in the real world yet so you operate in this weird gray in between and i feel like that's when
Starting point is 00:17:33 the best and the worst come out of people the growth really happens oh my god yeah like nobody telling you what to do like in school so you make yourself whatever you want to be yeah and you see i think the only thing that made me realize was seeing what other people chose to make themselves yeah like definitely not yeah i don't don't want to be the Quentin Tarantino man in class. Not for me. Yeah, absolutely. I like, one of my best friends.
Starting point is 00:18:00 She was, like, my first roommate, so I got really lucky in that sense, but she's, like, still my really good friend today. But she, I was a big know-it-all. I'm still a know-it-all to the day. I attributed to my quirky Virgo, but, like, I am a no-no for sure. Oh, you are? Yeah, yeah. Hell yeah, bitch.
Starting point is 00:18:16 I knew that's why I liked you. That's why you're funny. Something about it. Something about it. I don't know. I guess we're just special. We know. We just built that way.
Starting point is 00:18:24 September babes. Me too. Wait, what's your birthday? September 1st. Oh, mine's September 18th. Okay. Love that for us. September Virgo's rise.
Starting point is 00:18:33 But also, I know Katie's a Virgo too. Hey. I think for my friend, she was like, she's in Aries. So like we were best friends all throughout college and with her. I always joked that like I would never have had college experiences without her because I'm very like careful about everything.
Starting point is 00:18:51 thing I do, that's the Virgo in me. And I'm a planner. And she's not because she's in Harry's. So she, like, helped me have a lot of fun and all these, like, once in a lifetime experiences. And I kept her alive. That's like, I'm like, she would have died without me easily. But she was, she's a big no-it-all too. And I remember actively thinking with her, because we would butt heads all the time
Starting point is 00:19:13 because she's a no-on, I'm a-nodal. And I remember watching her doing it. I'm like, is that what I look like? Like, I literally, mirror bitch, holding it right up to me. I was like, that's horrible. I can believe I have friends. Literally. Literally.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And I told her, I told her that. I'm like, you made me less of an odal because you're an odal and it's insufferable. I can't believe it. I cannot believe. I had so many friends. I can't, I can't believe it. And she was last, she'd laugh and she'd be like, well, she just didn't care. She's like, better.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Yeah. I guess that's a win for me. Yeah. She told me, she said, honestly, me too. Because she was like that too and I'm insufferable also at that point. So we really balanced each other out. Beauty of college. Oh, definitely.
Starting point is 00:19:54 My first friend group, I mean, I would name them, but they were like super shitty. Meeting all of them and like just talking to them generally in life. And I'm like, what do you want to do? Yeah. What is in it? What is the life idea for you? Yeah. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Just this weekend. Yeah. They're very, you a planner, a future person? Big time. I mean, I don't have to do every single thing, but I know, okay, by the time I'm. 25 this, but the time I'm 30 this. Yeah. I don't have to know every single day, but it's just meeting people with no
Starting point is 00:20:26 direction. And no, like, ambition or anything like that. Nothing. Nothing. I'm just like, think I'm stupid for wanting to do things. I'm like, you're late. Yeah, well, people like that, too, I feel like you outgrow really quickly. Immediately. If you have ambition and stuff.
Starting point is 00:20:40 And then it turns into kind of like you guys start almost resenting each other because they don't like that you're moving on. Exactly. You don't like that they're staying put and it's just like. Especially the picnicism. This was the pick-me group, too. The first term, the first term of college. And these are all, like, I guess women who had never really interacted with men in a social setting before.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Yeah, like not to that capacity when you're in college where you see them all the time and your parties and all of that. It's like, you've never had a male friend before. Yeah. And I'm like, it's just, it's whatever you make it. They can be nice. That's just the person. My God. He looked at me.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I know, literally. He looks at everything. His eyes are open. Don't talk to him. they're open he's looking at a lot of things and it's like i i dealt with pick mes in college too and they're pretty pretty i think they're pretty more like they stand out a lot more in college because in high school i feel like you're all kind of picmies to some extent nobody knows it who's that again yeah once you're in college and you start growing through college they start really standing out like
Starting point is 00:21:42 a weed bitch like they're really like i don't really like that girl that's so true it's she doesn't she's very rude to me You're being, yeah, you're really rude, yeah. That's the thing. I think people who hold down to their high school personas where in high school
Starting point is 00:21:56 it's like cool, I guess, to be mean or like to be... Yeah, yeah, they hold on to that. Yeah, and they're like, this made me the bad bitch. Yeah. You just, oh, bitch. You just be, like, you're being very...
Starting point is 00:22:08 Yeah. Like, you're just rude. Yeah, it's like people who are like, I'm just like, I'm just someone who's really blunt. Yeah, I say the harsh truth. Yeah. What truth?
Starting point is 00:22:18 That means you're rude. And you don't know a way to communicate a complex thought without being rude. Exactly, exactly. And I think like with when it comes to men specifically in college, that's really what like solidified like dating throughout college is what solidified out of all. Yuck. My ick grew and festered like overtime in college just because of how they are just an almost feral in college. They all seem like a glob after a while. It's like some sort of hive mind.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Yeah, literally. And they all say and do the same things. All the time. No matter how different they are. Yeah. Like, there's a white dude, Indian dude, yeah. Middle Eastern dude.
Starting point is 00:23:04 They all say the same things, do the same things. Act the same way. Yeah. It's kind of weird. Like, who is who? Who is feeding you? No, break free from the Matrix. My love, please. You deserve it.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Yeah, I have lots of dating horror stories from college. And also, I think to colleges where you see almost the most like, it's like, what's the word I'm thinking of? It's like the most aggressive approach in any social setting, like whether it's a party or you're in class, the things that men will say. And it's supposed to be a compliment. Blows my mind, bitch. The number of, oh my God, your English is really good that I've gotten. Oh, ooh! From men, women.
Starting point is 00:23:51 Oh my God. Some PAs. You're like, we were both colonized by the same people. Babe, same language they gave both of us. Why are you surprised? Twin. Love you, babe.
Starting point is 00:24:04 Twin. They were like, they were like shocked. Because I sound Indian. That's what I sound like all the time. Yeah. Wow. You're English. I'm like, what do you want me to sound like?
Starting point is 00:24:15 A poo from the Simpsons, bitch. It's a white man. Boys are like the 7-11 with 50-50 if my zipper's up or down anymore. Take my pants off at home. They come off easy. I'm like, I thought it was four hours I was walking around like. Netflix is a joke presents Nate Bargatsy, big dumb eyes world tour. A special live taping at Into a Dome.
Starting point is 00:24:37 I think it's because I'm peeing so much longer. I watch young people come and go. I'm like, tell my family I'm okay. Nate Bargatsy, May 9th and 10. Live at Intuit. Still, get tickets at Netflix at joke fest.com. This is Euphoria Calvin Klein,

Starting point is 00:25:30 I think it's strange to ask someone what ethnicity or what race they are. That's a weird thing to ask someone in a setting where you're like attracted to this person. That's weird. It's giving me fetish. But sometimes, yeah, one time I, no literally, one time I had a guy come up to me, and it was like they were like little things he would say where he would throw in Spanish words. And I was like, okay. Like I didn't, I didn't say anything because he was buying drinks. So I was like, you know what? I'll entertain the Spanglish just for a little.
Starting point is 00:26:02 And then he was like, yeah, I've never been with a Latin woman before. And then I go, well, is she here in the room with us? Are you talking to me? And then he was like, yeah, like you're giving me. He said, first of all, he said a Mexican. woman. And then he said, you're giving me Sophia Vergaara vibes. I said, she's not Mexican. Have you?
Starting point is 00:26:24 And you're a idiot. And neither am I, bitch. That's what I was like, wrong race, wrong fetish, babe. At least get the racism right. In the sexism? At least get the racism part right. At least, oh for two, babe. You're 0 for two. My head, they're like, I've never been with an Indian woman. How different
Starting point is 00:26:41 do you think we are? Different manufacturing process. And you know what? You're going to keep up that streak tonight, bitch. I'll see you never. You're going to continue not mean Latin American. Yeah, go ahead and put me in the pile of nose. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yeah, I had a dude one say to me, he said, you're a lot smarter than you look. And I was like, interesting. I go, what do you mean by that? You're just as smart as you look. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:06 He's like, yeah, people who look like you aren't typically smart. And I find that impressive. Do you? How about, do you find these nuts impressive too? Bitch? It was the shit they say
Starting point is 00:27:19 It's just so It's so egregious in its very nature Pretend is a compliment Because like it is to them What was this? Maybe it was a TikTok It was a TikTok I watched Yeah
Starting point is 00:27:30 It was one of the British shows It was this dude Tall bald-headed dude And this beautiful I think Indian girl He was like Oh there's just When there's a fat thing in the room
Starting point is 00:27:42 She's just funny braw Always But like we don't talk to her otherwise I'm like, so pay me for entertainment? At that point, I'm a vendor, so hire me as such. Seriously, this is a thing where they're like, I know every fat girl has a story about a friend group where they're only in it because they know as a comparative yardstick,
Starting point is 00:28:04 like the pretty girl, so to speak, would look better if you go out consistently. I see you mean. You know, they're like the approach point for dudes because they're like, She's just the fat one. Yeah. They think that's like the way in. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:19 And like so many girlfriend groups are just like, yeah, I mean, that's just the way it is. Which is weird. It's. That's giving me weird. It's giving first year pick me. Yeah, it is. Or they're like, we need to make sure whenever we go out. You have at least, which is weird.
Starting point is 00:28:34 That's weirdo shit. It's when I, yeah, when, like, for me, I was like, I'm like the friend that's like, what did you say? Like, I was literally. In college, I was a lot worse, believe it or not. Because I had no fear in college. Like, I had none whatsoever. So I would lose it at like the slightest. Any, like, you give me a sprinkle of disrespect.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I'm losing it and causing a scene and I'm going to draw an audience and I'm going to collect tips after. So I was. Yeah, no, true. No, truly. So much so to the point that my friends thought it was funny. So they would be like, oh, go tell her that. That's what they would tell. Like, if dudes were being terrible, they'd be to go tell her that.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Like, Trigger you? Yeah. Like, they would say, hey, why don't you tell, you just told me, go tell her that. I see what she says. Just to be funny, because they thought it was hilarious because I just had no, no patience whatsoever. I don't even have any now, but at least I'm a little more, let's all laugh and giggle. Before it was, like, more like, I'm going to kill you. So growth.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Growth. I'm like growth, growth, evolution, you know, we all grow. I think the same. When I joined, I was, well, I just avoid those people altogether. Yeah, exactly. And I would, I was like, not, I don't, shut up. Yeah, same. I don't have the space or the energy for this.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Yeah, just, like, not even giving it any energy. Not interacting with it. And I think over time, I got, I guess, more patient with it because I realized I'll run into those kinds of people no matter what. Yeah. Like, not just here, but, like, back home anywhere. Absolutely. People like that.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Yeah. And if I keep my, I guess, my cool around me, and I'm like, you need to, you know, just listen to the thing that you're saying. I remember so vividly Me and my friend we went downtown for a clubbing night or whatever Yeah And there was a dude came up to me
Starting point is 00:30:21 He whatever he said his peace It was very embarrassing And when he was leaving He like petted my belly And walked behind me And I was like Maybe not that last part And he turns around
Starting point is 00:30:34 He's like What should tell me what I did wrong I want to tell me what I did wrong And I in my little like black club Mini dress with a drink in my hand Giving this dude a feminism one one lecture. And I'm like, it's the fact that you wanted to touch a body you didn't know that is wrong. I don't know you. I don't know your name. I didn't ask for it for a reason. Why are you touching me?
Starting point is 00:30:54 He's like, that's your Virgo right there. You're like, actually I have some notes. I do. I actually ask my question. Yeah. Yeah, not book. Tell me. I do have some critiques if you're open to hearing them. Motivation, corrupt. Actions lame. Yeah, I say that when I talk about going out. I've talked about how I'm a big proponent of free drinks. I say rack them up. I say rack them up. That's what you call reparations, babe. And it's not what the patriarchy has done to you.
Starting point is 00:31:21 It's what it can do for you. So I always say that whatever their intentions are as far as like what they think, because sometimes they'll be like, I was just trying to get to know you. That's a lie. Yeah. That's a lie, babe. Liars don't go to heaven. Did you know that?
Starting point is 00:31:36 One of the dudes, he was like chatting to me and my friend. And I was like, hey, I'm going to, I'm just going to, you know, be real with you. It's not going to happen. Yeah. And he got flustered, animated. He was like, oh, hold on, what do you think? What's not going to happen? He's like, well, you're fat and ugly, so that's what I think about you.
Starting point is 00:31:53 I was not for you, bitch. I was literally like, whatever you think, whatever you thought. When I said that, that's the thing. That's not going to happen. Yeah. Use your imagination. And he's like, no, I just wanted to be friends. I'm like, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:05 I have enough friends. That's what I'm so. At 2 a.m. on a Friday, outside this drunk ass club. That's why I say, yeah, you want to get to know me. I'm sure. Oh my God. So when they say, I just want to be, well, you can't have friends.
Starting point is 00:32:16 You just be like, no, I have enough. No. I'm good. I'm maxed out at friends. Like capacity reached, you know what I mean? If anyone falls off, I'll let you know. In the meantime. Yeah, in the meantime, go to hell, I guess is what I'm trying to say.
Starting point is 00:32:29 Make your own friends. I don't want to be your friend. Why is that at the front? I want to be your friend. In the club? Yeah, yeah. Sure. Sure.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Sure. Let's talk about family trauma. And I brought, and I brought my card because I was planning on buying my own drinks since we're all lying. You know what I mean? Sometimes I wouldn't even take a card. Nice. No, that's the risk.
Starting point is 00:32:48 I'd be like, I'm going to get every drink paid for and did. And I did. And I highly encourage you all to do so. That's what they deserve. Because they're not, there's no good intention behind
Starting point is 00:33:00 talking, chatting up a girl. You want to talk to me when you drink? I'll give you 30 seconds of air time. That's a little. Pitch. Elevator pitch. Hit me now. This is the Long Island pitch.
Starting point is 00:33:11 reach the bottom of this, you're done. Exactly. So we're going to be talking about the college experience as a whole with Meg today. So for those of you who don't know here in the comment section, what we like to do is bring videos that are applicable to our topic that I've been tagged in. Bring him here. We laugh, we giggle, we make fun of terrible men. You all know the deal. So this first video I'm going to describe.
Starting point is 00:33:35 So it's basically a college student. She's talking about going to college parties as a plus size girl and how in her college experience, she had to work really hard to get into the party scene because there is so much gatekeeping and favoring of girls who are skinny especially from frats which i have heard of um and i believe 100% and as someone i went to a school that didn't have a greek row at all we had like i think a singular frat and a singular sorority the frat i think i went to one party at and it got closed it i swear to god if you go inside it looked like a hot wanted like a maze, like a universal during Halloween horror nights. You know, everything's disgusting and there's no furniture. It's like fluids on the floor. I went in there once. I said, no, ma'am, I will never be back here again.
Starting point is 00:34:22 And then they bulldoze that house down because it's terrible. You're not up to code. Yeah, so I have. I guarantee it, honestly. It looked like a mad scientist was living in there. Like Dr. Frankenstein, bitch. But I think in those situations, I never had to deal with any sort of Greek life because I didn't have that at my college.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Do you guys have a Greek life at yours? We did. We do, actually. It's less now. It's like the scope of its lesson. But I remember the only real interaction I had with Greek life was the same friend group in the first year. The pick me's. I remember way before I joined like university itself and I'm from India.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Over there we know the lore about frats and sororities being so dark and just like. Yeah. What was the movie that came out as a hunting ground? There was like a crazy movie about like Colleges protecting fraternities when it's members and especially as athletes were like accused of assault. Yeah. Just any kind of violence.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Yeah. And I was like, oh, so I know in my head to avoid frats and soronities like the plague. Yeah, they're as far as I know, not typically welcoming to marginalized people in any capacity, especially if they're primarily white. Obviously, there are some Greek lives that are different marginalized people, which is great. But as far as like, I'm assuming we're talking about, yeah, the majority of them are run by primarily white people. By the rich or long dads, too. Yeah, it's a real weird, like, circle jerk.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Like, they, like, give money to the school. They get to, like, be involved in the school still, even though they're far past. Names on buildings and shit. Yeah. And then, you know, they're like one percenter children go there. they stay in the house. It's just the most, it's so strange. The concept is foreign to me because I'm not someone who went to a college with any sort of Greek life.
Starting point is 00:36:18 I remember like this experience being, they have something called Rush Week. This was my only experience with it. And this group who, up until that point in my head, I was like, yeah, these are strong, feministic women. Yeah. They like, hey, rush this sorority with us. I'm like, over my dead body. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:38 go and do what like fake being friends with these women for a year because I want to live in the stupid house and it's expensive too expensive and I don't know what a sorority does or a frat does raise money I don't know
Starting point is 00:36:53 as far as I know it's as much as my knowledge about it is like my knowledge about cars it's very minimal and it's it's kind of like what I've seen on TV is pretty much where it ends I do know I do know it's like a networking thing, I believe. So I thought it was like a
Starting point is 00:37:11 previous like alums or I guess. Like legacy people. Exactly. Like legacy people, they like have connections in the industries and you can like meet them and stuff. Okay, I guess so nightmare. I'm not doing this. Because there are something you have to do every single day. Like some event, some party.
Starting point is 00:37:28 Yeah, yeah. They're very, they're very strict too about like things like baking posts. Yeah, yeah. Like all this like whole extra layer of pressure. Yeah. When I asked them, I looked this friend group that was all women of color. And I'm like, why do you want, this is an all-white
Starting point is 00:37:44 sorority. I know you think they're sweet and they probably are, but just keep in mind, this sorority has been here for 50 years. Yeah. What are the chances of they're not being a single person of color in there? Yeah. And we're in a huge, like, metropolitan city. There's no chance that nobody of color rushed. Like, in the kidding. Yeah. You're like, no, we want to go because the sororities. So like, each sorority has a brother for
Starting point is 00:38:08 eternity they like pair together yeah that's this really hot guy in the frat and you can't see him anywhere else i guess so and i was like you're going to make this your life yeah because you want to stare at a boy i'd rather live in the dorms babe i'd rather live in the dorms babe i and my my school too like my school had like dorms for like freshmen and then they had apartments too for like students that wanted to stay on campus but were older than being a freshman because you can't like live in the freshman dorms if you're 21. So like they had apartments and I lived in those apartments too. So like those were nice. Like I mean mine was terrible to an extent. Mine was like really, really old. But like it's nice to live on campus. But like my point being that the living situation
Starting point is 00:38:57 does not always have to center around why you choose to join. Yeah. The like Greek life. But I mean as far as like fat shaming and discrimination, I believe it. I believe it. they do that I feel like they would do that at any at normal parties in general like that are thrown by men like in college they're gonna be awful it's just but like when you do when you factor in Greek life and then that like proximity to whiteness and like the white supremacy it's probably hive mind yeah it's like 10 different chags yeah it's like times a million like the the bigotry is just enhanced it's like bolstered because they all like affirm each other they're like yeah you're right yeah you're right no faping
Starting point is 00:39:38 in this house. Yeah, no fat pitches. You're right. You're right. I put that sticker on my tocoma. It's on the back of my truck, too. No faties allowed. No faties, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:47 And I'm like, no uglies, but you're in here, huh? Okay, so the comments on this video, one of them says, my mom told me that at her college to get into frat parties, they would weigh you, and if you're over a certain weight, they wouldn't let you in. That's giving me pedophile. I feel like it's okay if we say that. If you're someone who hyperfix it's on weight, you're a pedophile. You have pedophilic tendencies
Starting point is 00:40:09 Unpack it Or jail Before you enter the house So like instead of a welcome mat A wing scale I'll say I'll say yes to that in one condition There's a toilet
Starting point is 00:40:19 Right next to it So if when I don't clear it I take the most World-ending shit And then I'll clear that weight part Just absolutely blow up the bathroom Yeah I absolutely light it up in there
Starting point is 00:40:30 Don't flush That's it, that's my weight babe That's the shit you care about Exit it out of it. Literally Now wait me again after I took my big my big stick. They ask you for bulking tips now, bitch. Really?
Starting point is 00:40:43 That's so up, man. I just think that's so... No, I just know there's some dude called Ryan who's like patting himself on the back with coming up with that idea. Yeah, I literally have... I've actually made fun of dudes on TikTok who have made videos like that
Starting point is 00:40:59 where they're laughing. They're like, we got new decoration for the house for house parties and it's a scale. And they just put it by the door. And I'm like Sick house decoration dog I'm sure you have tons of girls Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:13 When I lie, anything's possible You know what I mean? I'm sure you got tons of girls Wanted to come to your house So there are so many fat women Dying to be with you I'm sure I'm sure there are
Starting point is 00:41:22 Anything's possible With your three roommates I want to be there First of all there's seven of you living in that house So You all split that digital scale too I was bad Yeah did you guys all
Starting point is 00:41:34 Venmo each other's Yeah $4? Guys, I bought the scale for the TikTok video, so I'm going to send a Venmo request to everyone for $7. Just go ahead and send it to me. I thought you were bringing the girls. Shit! We all bought scales, but none of us brought girls.
Starting point is 00:41:50 They have seven scales and no women. That's why if people tell you seven scales, they all bought one. They have different weights programmed into it. Literally. I think if someone tells you that they're going to weigh you. I would say Well, honestly, if that were me, you know what I'm doing?
Starting point is 00:42:12 As soon as they put it down, I'm like cannonballing on top of it. I'm breaking it immediately. I'm going to suplex on top of it. I'm like, oh. I guess all the fat bitches not to come in now. No, just because I'm so fat. I'm so fucking sorry, guys.
Starting point is 00:42:25 I'm literally like, like, charging up all my power and just punching down onto it with my fist to crack it in half, literally. If I'm being... Hold it up in like, Taekwondo. Like a tight, she punched through it. Be the scale.
Starting point is 00:42:41 If I'm being weighed, it's because I'm stepping into a UFC ring. There you go. There's no other place in which I'm being publicly weighed. I'm not paid for it. And even then, I'd be like, I'm not doing that. No, I'm not about all this. I have to weigh myself.
Starting point is 00:42:57 I'm out. I don't want to fight that bad. He could take the win. That's okay. I don't want the head drama that. I'm a big proponent of not weighing your. yourself, regardless of where you're at in your body acceptance journey, because I'm a huge advocate for body neutrality.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Like, it's neither good nor bad. It just is. I'm a huge proponent of that. So weighing yourself does nothing for you, in my opinion, if that's where you're working towards, because it's an ancillary number. It doesn't mean anything. It also is not indicative of health in any way, shape, or form. Whenever terrible dudes, like, do shit like that, they always reference BMI and B.
Starting point is 00:43:35 and BMI is racist. BMI is literally made by eugenesis. Yep, look it up. Based on, like, the chart you use is just for white men. Yep. Surprise. It's racist. As are most things.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Literally. Yep, yeah, you can go ahead and uphold that, babe. Yeah, no, but big on body neutrality. Same. Because I didn't, like, I didn't really like the, when body positivity came up first, and they were like, you slay queen, bestie, kill me with your weight. Yeah. It doesn't have to be that.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Yeah. It also doesn't have to be, I hate my body. Yeah. It can be either or. This is my body. Yeah, it just is. I feel like when you're a child, when you're a child, I feel like you're in your most, like before puberty and stuff, when you're unaware of your body and how it affects how you're treated in the world. That's when you're in your most, like, vigorous body neutrality area.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Yeah, because you don't, it means nothing to you. What you put on it, what you don't, like how it looks, how other people perceive it is, not even have felt that. registers to you. As you get older, you start to perceive it because it's being perceived. So you start to perceive yourself in that way. And I feel like body neutrality works for me because it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what it looks like. It shouldn't determine how you're treated is the whole point for me. So if you love your body, that's great. If you love it and you worship it, awesome. I think that's awesome. But also you don't want to care about it at all. That's also great. I think that's.
Starting point is 00:45:05 like your body is a temple. I'm like, my body is a chick filly. And that's okay. Yeah, like I want to do a strip mall sometimes. Yeah. Whatever. Whatever. It really doesn't matter as long as you are healthy and happy.
Starting point is 00:45:19 And healthy. Healthy has a big asterisk next to it because it's healthy on your terms, what's applicable to you. Not what some shithead frack guy says. Your BMI is not. Because he's not a doctor, believe it or not. Yeah, he's not a doctor. Believe it or not, he can't even smell.
Starting point is 00:45:35 the word doctor so okay and the crazy thing is all the dudes who are like that are literally inside their most intense eating disorders i'm like yeah they never talk about that end of the spectrum do they when when you're tracking your micros like down to the hour yeah it's bro that's also a form of a disorder eating which is why i think that's why it's you know it's rooted in nothing more than fat phobia because they don't if you actually cared about eating disorder of any kind, you would care about them across the board, not just when it looks like something you would perceive to be unattractive. Not when it looks like something you don't want to.
Starting point is 00:46:16 Yeah. Then it's health. Yeah, that all of a sudden, all of a sudden. We just love you and want you to be here longer. I'll kill myself now. Just because she said that. Because you won't be here longer. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:46:27 Okay, so this next comment says, my sister told me about how when she was at a party, the frack I said anyone over 150, had to leave and they made them and watched her walk out the door. Anyone over 150 embarrassing? Listen,
Starting point is 00:46:47 if you're over 150 that does not mean that you're unhealthy first of all. But second of all, that's such a weird bitchless dude thing to say. It really is. Like you get no...
Starting point is 00:47:02 Call that dude's mother. You get no pussy. and it's obvious. Like, it's just, it stinks. You just know he pulled that number out of nowhere to. Yeah. And you know what? When they, when they fat shame you, they'll always say $2.25.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I'm not even kidding you. 225 is like the number they always say. 225. And it's so specific. And it's because that's the weight they wish they were. Because they're $1.75 and they can't get past it. No matter how much meat they eat. No matter how much protein they intake.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Snorting pre-worked. Yeah, they can't break $1.90. that's their cross to bear and they take that out on you. I speak that from experience, babe. Oh, my God. But I think like... Just screaming a number. Yeah, we'll see.
Starting point is 00:47:44 And then, you know, they'll bitch about height. Like, they'll bitch about women being like, okay, well, then you can't be five, six. And then they're like, oh, see, this is why men are so unhappy. Yeah, this is... Because I'm short. Oh, my favorite argument they make is they'll say, uh, you can change your weight, but you can't change your weight. your height. Have you tried?
Starting point is 00:48:07 Surgery? Why don't you try a little harder? How about that? Once you put your like, like, acts to the grind, bitch. That's why, well, and at the same, no, if that's the case, you're not discriminated against because you're short.
Starting point is 00:48:23 You know what I mean? I know a single short dude who's like, my life is different because I'm short. Yeah. Napoleon Bonaparte. Okay. Who else, bitch. And he lost. And he lost. And he was. And he was. And he vanished. Embarrassing. And everyone still make short jokes about him.
Starting point is 00:48:39 Napoleon, nothing you did matter. Hundred. Like, centuries later. That's the only thing they remember. They only were the thing, they remember that guy is that he was short and you know why? Because he was awful. He was an awful person. The myths that he did power crazy things because he was short.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Yeah. Napoleon complex. Your descendants. Yeah. Those are your ancestors. Take it up with them. Is this your home boy? Come get your homeboy, man.
Starting point is 00:49:03 He's bullying people in the gym. I yeah go get your great great great grandson okay he's acting a fool he's acting a fool at the crunch fitness it's like
Starting point is 00:49:16 it's I just think like that's how I said it's just bitchless dude behavior like you have never seen a vagina in real life and it's obvious to me anyone but a 150 leave okay
Starting point is 00:49:29 everyone who has access to their daddy's bank account leave empty house the house shuts down gets foreclosed off no literally I think it's too like or it's like
Starting point is 00:49:40 if you if it can't get past the cheeks you could just say that that's okay there's no length it's all right it's such a it feels like so much of the time
Starting point is 00:49:50 when they're defending their stances they're like trying to find something that they can latch on to to make fun of just something so we can't make fun of your astrology we can't make fun of your TV shows
Starting point is 00:50:02 you're fat Okay. Okay. Recess? Bad boy. Okay. Yeah, it's like, okay. It's a real child is shit.
Starting point is 00:50:12 I'm like... Well, it's also like... Okay. Women have to deal with the constant scrutiny of their looks all the time from a very, very young age. So it doesn't phase us anymore. For the most part, it doesn't phase us. You call a dude short one time. He's going to hold that for the rest of his...
Starting point is 00:50:32 It's a rock. of his life, bitch, it's going to be a life-altering moment for him. If you call a dude ugly, you call a dude short, you tell him his hairline sucks ass. Like, literally... When he introduces you, he'll be like, oh, this is that girl, she called me short this one time. Yeah. Yeah, ever. That's going to be your descriptor.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Yeah, just to the end of time, he's going to hold on to that. And I'm counting on it, bitch. So when you're terrible, take it with you. I promise you, I'm going to find something that's going to see, like when, sometimes when I say shit, sometimes people will be like, like, oh, you went too easy on him. You should have said this. You should have said that. I'm like, babe, I'm going for the one that implants. Like, like literal poison.
Starting point is 00:51:12 It spreads slowly but efficiently. To his head. I'm living up here forever. I've bought real estate. And he like puts his shoes on. She said, I'm short. Yeah, dude. One time I made a video about this guy and I talked about that his shoes look like they were about a size 8, which is offensive to most men.
Starting point is 00:51:32 You want to talk about, you want to make fun of a dude but don't want to say a short joke or a hairline? Talk about his feet. Talk about how small they look. Yeah. Talk about how small they look. Say like, what are you? Like a seven and a half? I promise you they'll never forget that shit.
Starting point is 00:51:44 They'll hold on to that. I'm a source term. I said a bunch of other terrible things. And that was the only thing he wanted to talk about in his response to me. He's like, and yeah, maybe I am a size eight. I just took a shot in the dark. And I was right. Yeah, look at my shoes.
Starting point is 00:51:59 And maybe they are tiny. He's like, yeah, I do have. Yeah. you know what i actually do have i do have small feet and i'm all godham self people yeah do i would you that's what you call a gotum you know what i mean like and i have him yeah and then his buddies like were also like terrible gym dudes and they were stitching me and they were like oh my god i saw this one oh i wish i to this day i wish i saved it because it made me laugh so hard but he literally it's night time like late night like probably
Starting point is 00:52:31 like midnight. He's in a parking lot. Car doors open, headlights on. He's using like something to prop his phone up. He takes his shirt off and he's like, make fun of me. I'm about, I'm about five, six. My shoe size is an eight and I have struggled to put muscle on my legs. Babe, self-own. You did my job for me. He's screaming in a parking lot. And I've never seen that guy in my life, never talked about him. that's the kind of effect you want to have on men like that you want to live like going wherewolfing the fact that he was like having a full like like almost like life transforming moment and I didn't even talk about him and he just he just hated what I said about that other dude because he's also terrible shoe fit too tight
Starting point is 00:53:20 I'm small yeah he's like I'm fun of me I'm also small and you're probably going to make fun of how uneven my nipples are babe nobody said that but now that you offered this dinner yum yum for me yeah one time I thought this oh my god this one dude
Starting point is 00:53:38 I talked about him once and I said that his nipples were so like drawn out like long sharp I said village wet nurse babe who's been suckling at them teats
Starting point is 00:53:50 for that long like droopy nips that's the new one yeah and he literally made a video in response he was like yeah you know I do have saggy nipples like trying to play it off.
Starting point is 00:54:01 I was like, this is embarrassing for you. That's really embarrassing for you. And he made one of the worst videos I've ever seen ever in my life. He said like if you're fat, if you're depressed, if you have any sort of mental illness,
Starting point is 00:54:14 it's because you don't work out. And like maybe you should care about yourself more and go work out like me. Have the nerve to do that and the teeth are raw. Like he just bore a fresh litter. And he's out here trying to tell other people. I said,
Starting point is 00:54:28 No, this is the thing for me, the dissonance in these people's heads. And I'm like, you clearly hate this so much because you would hate to be perceived like that. Yeah, absolutely. It's like all like fitness bro content. It's a projection. It's like, I don't know. I hope we think some ugly and stupid. We do.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Yep. We think you're ugly and stupid. Okay, so this next video, it's two female UCLA students are being interviewed about what it's like being a woman in STEM at the school. And she says 80% of her classes were. predominantly men and there has been exclusivity and gaykeeping a lot of her school's resources or clubs for STEM majors like herself and that seems like to be expected in something like STEM that is a tough industry to go into I think the the weird gatekeeping of information makes no sense to me because isn't the whole point to like share the knowledge yeah you know like evolutionary
Starting point is 00:55:29 goals. So I'd rather not evolve than let a lady take care of it. I'd rather not progress society as a whole than let a woman take charge. A lady in my lab. The sodium would be different. There's just no way it would be the same.
Starting point is 00:55:51 That's so... That's to be expected, unfortunately. Yeah, that's especially like clubs and resources and stuff because it's probably previous stem dudes who've been mostly male. Yep. That sucks, dude. Well, just like,
Starting point is 00:56:03 knowledge? Knowledge. That's what you want to gatekeeping. You know what I'm saying? Like, information that could be helpful to society as a whole. You don't want more people in there, like, more ground to cover. This actually, oh my God, this reminded me of, like, what's the historical name? I think her name was Franklin.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Like, the person who discovered the double helic structure of DNA. Yeah. It was a woman. And she, like, wrote it down and discovered. discovered it, discovered it. Yeah. But years later, two dudes, who was the... Quix and Watts?
Starting point is 00:56:36 Whatever, the famous model that's based on. Just took her little research, put it as a part of their study, and now it's their double helix model. Yeah. And it just, I don't know. I always thought in some fields, at least. Like, creative fields, that bias you can never hide very well. You'll see it.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Yeah. But I always felt that in STEM fields, at least, in science fields, where the world... is information based. The work is like data based. Yeah. There wouldn't be a gender bias. No, truly.
Starting point is 00:57:06 A frog is a frog. We've got it open. What's the problem? That shit, man. Well, like DNA? Like, that's the shit you want to, you know what I mean? Fight about? Yeah, like...
Starting point is 00:57:16 We're both looking at the same thing. Yeah, well, and I just think this is along the same lines as the argument when men are like, you're going to talk shit on men and men built the world around you. The building, the Wi-Fi. blah blah blah. They always say Wi-Fi. They always say that shit. The dreams.
Starting point is 00:57:34 Yeah, the drama. Bitch all hook this iPhone up to an Ethernet cable. Don't play with me. Right? I'll be Amish. I'll find a way. Literally I'll regress. Back to Pilgrimant.
Starting point is 00:57:43 Pilgrim times. Back to when I was colonized. I'll go back there if that's what it takes. But I literally, that as would like when you see shit like that, I've said before, we have no idea how much women have contributed to society. We have some understanding.
Starting point is 00:58:00 But do you know how many men took credit for shit that was not theirs? You have no idea how much women have contributed just like that story where like Albert Einstein's wife is responsible
Starting point is 00:58:12 for like a huge portion of his work because she was doing his his math and shit. The calculation? Yeah, I didn't even know that. Yeah, so he obviously took credit for it because women were not recognized in that field literally at all.
Starting point is 00:58:25 And obviously he's like a pioneer in that department. You can't study physics without Einstein? Like, damn. Yeah, and so, like, she was a huge piece to him succeeding in that field. Ada Lovelace. First computer network. Nobody.
Starting point is 00:58:38 No, no credit. That's what I'm saying. And you have no idea how many women, like, some women, I guarantee you, I bet you, someone tell me if this is true. But, like, I bet you some women gave their information to other men, and they were, like, just take it. Like, they need to figure, they need to know this. You need the info for the progression of society as all.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Oh my God. even think about how many women probably wrote under a man's name. That's what I'm saying. Like a man's pseudonym. Yeah. I guarantee it or gave it to some dude. They're like, take this and go tell the world they need this information. I will take this.
Starting point is 00:59:10 And they're like, don't threaten me with a good time, bitch. I'll take that credit. Hell yeah. Someone tell me if that happened. I guarantee you it did. Or they were just, it was just stolen. But I mean, I have a strong feeling that that's happened. There's no way we've lived this long.
Starting point is 00:59:28 as a civilization and women have not contributed anything substantial. A woman invented beer? Yeah. Yeah. Their life source. Yeah. Water. Their nectar.
Starting point is 00:59:40 They're living fluid. Oh, the ladies. Don't drink it anymore. It's for women. Just like, I think women invented like, it's not Wi-Fi. Well, maybe it was Wi-Fi, honestly. But, like, it was, like, security systems for homes and businesses. It's created by women.
Starting point is 00:59:58 The telephone, it was either the, not the telephone, but like voicemail or something. Oh, caller ID. Call it ID. That's what it is. Color ID. And that's why you know when to not answer when your mom calls. And I think you should thank a woman for that. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:00:12 What was it? A woman was a part of the, like, the source code writing for the moon landing? Yep. It's like, I'm saying even when, maybe one in 10, you know, people in the, you know, people in. working in stem fields or women, even then we were doing huge contributions. Yeah. And I'm not even going to say, oh, it's because they were women, they did it.
Starting point is 01:00:36 It's because they loved the subject like everyone else. Because they're good at the job, yeah. The fact that you hate a woman more than you love your subject is crazy. The misogyny is, it's embedded in there. But no, it's like, that's why I said, like, if you're telling me if there was like the vaccine for like what we already have one for, the flu for example if it was created by a woman tell me if it was i would love to know and you're telling me that they'd be like nah people i'd rather let people die i'd rather let them die and then give
Starting point is 01:01:09 a woman credit for this die that's nice and that's and some people are like that there was literally a case about that um i think her name is henrietta lax and it was her DNA that led to huge breakthroughs in like AIDS uh cute like not AIDS curing but like AIDS treatment yeah yeah and they never told her They literally stole her DNA. And it was because something very unique about her DNA, it would replicate a lot, it would self-replicate and be stable. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:37 And it was something crazy. Like, if you guys know, like, look it up to them. But it was amazing. And it's called the He La Vax, the H-E-L-A. And it's her name. And it was centuries before her family even knew. They literally stole her DNA. And they were like, world-changing drugs.
Starting point is 01:01:53 They were like, mm-thes for me. Yeah. And then they pop out, like, grand. kids that are like, man built the world on TikTok. They build the world that you live in, including the internet, like whatever the shit they say. And then when they say that too, if someone says that T's you, too, your response can always be.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Are you one of them? What did you do? Did you discover the double helix? No. Okay, then I guess we're useless, bitch. We contribute to the same to society in that sense. I'm also a silly goose online. They're the fantasy footballers.
Starting point is 01:02:24 Yeah. Now you play a game of spreadsheets. So your thanks to the men who did it, those men we will thank. Okay? Not your fanfic football. Thanks to those men, you get to play your game of spreadsheets. Thanks, thank you, sorry. You get to play pretend.
Starting point is 01:02:42 Thank your ancestors. But it was men. Shut up. Yeah, when they, the whole fallacy too of like working, like men working, blah, blah, blah. As far as like, that's their job as to work and provide. I always think like that's because you told us to stay at home, babe. They always bring up the draft too. And I always say, first off, true intersectional feminism does not believe in the draft.
Starting point is 01:03:09 Nobody should be drafted against their will. That's one. But two, and more importantly, whose fault is it that only men get drafted? Not I. Not I. Wars so much that you need your citizens to go fight. Yeah, against their will. Against their will.
Starting point is 01:03:25 Not trained, nothing. And they said women aren't capable of going to war. So I'm only drafting men. That wasn't on me. That's really on you, babes. That wasn't on me. It's not even your war. It's your grandparents' war.
Starting point is 01:03:38 No, truly. They got shit to do. They're just sitting in Congress. Check your peers, babe. Ask your ancestors why they did that to us. That's misogyny. That's literally patriarchy. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:03:48 So much of the women in work, like, argument where they were like, but yeah, of course they're not getting paid the same amount for the same work, all this shit. I'm like, Women were allowed to enter the work for 60 years ago. Yeah. We got the right to vote 100 years ago, 1919, just about 100 years ago. We got the right to own credit cards and our own bank accounts and our own property without having to, you know, put our husband's names or our father's names.
Starting point is 01:04:13 Less than 70 years ago. And we still consume so much of your work market. So we had a fraction of the fraction of your time. So maybe pick up the pace, babe. Time sheets. Maybe quit lagging. You know what I'm saying? They have nothing to compare it against now.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Yeah. When you went to war, and you know how you still needed? Milk in the fridge. That's what I said to. I said, when you guys go to war, what were women doing? History is having pillow fights like you guys think? Or were they in the factories, bitch? Like, making the shit to send to you to go to war.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Keeping the world moving. They're so in parachutes. Yeah. Making military rations. Yeah. They always so conveniently forget that. The government asked women to be part of. the workforce.
Starting point is 01:04:57 They also asked them to leave the workforce. When the war ended, they were like, time to leave it up to the man. Don't get out of here, you bitch. Get back to that kitchen.
Starting point is 01:05:05 And they were like, um, we like it. Okay, but only if you wear pretty dresses. And we can touch it butt when we want to lose us. I have to be able to goose you
Starting point is 01:05:15 otherwise you cannot work here. It's just, it's only fair. Those are the rules. Those are the rules. They're like, I went to war for you, bitch. And they're like,
Starting point is 01:05:23 well, no. That was really for them. That was for you. I just so happen to be alive at this time, so it's unfortunate for me. It sucks. It's like when you look at history, I know I talked about, I had a video a while ago where a guy was like, what if women, or what if men treated women the same way women treat men? And I was like, like shit?
Starting point is 01:05:43 Is that what you mean? Newsflash, they already do that. Surprise. You mean? With disregard? If there's one thing I can count on from y'all, it's that. It's you don't give the shit. It's treating us like shit.
Starting point is 01:05:58 Yeah, I can count on that. That's the one consistent thing across the board for all of them. And I was saying, like, did you, like, just wake up today? Like, is this your first day on planet Earth? You've never seen human interaction? Yeah. He just, like, woke up and was like, I think we should all treat each other nice. I've never seen anyone.
Starting point is 01:06:17 I've never seen a man treat a woman terribly. Never, never in my life. Really. Imagine. Again, anything's possible when you lie. True. A man would never mistreat a woman. Never.
Starting point is 01:06:35 You're so true. Let me pack my bags. You got me there, buddy. I'm out. Okay, so I'll go through some of these comments. This one says, can you be mad at them? STEM is so competitive in the grand scheme of things. Your success could mean their failure.
Starting point is 01:06:49 If you were in their position, I'm assuming it would finish like you would do the same. This one I mean. What is this, Sparta? Girl, what are you on? You all... We're in school. If she leaves, somebody else is going to discover that information. Tomass, it's information.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Are you... It's all, like, so, like, research-based, too. So it's very per the person. It's not like a... It's not a treasure, hon. It's not like, good luck. Yeah. Find the needle in the haystack.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Whoever finds it gets to be a doctor. For the next 15 years. Yeah, let me do this. At least, like, I don't know, like, creative corporate industries. I'm like, oh, yeah, competitive. because there's only so many jobs, so many positions. Research jobs that never made sense to me. Yeah, positions I understand, but I'm like, competitive for what?
Starting point is 01:07:37 If you're all in the same field, don't you all working for the betterment of the field? That's what I'm saying, like, towards the same goal, in essence. Like, because STEM could cover a broad spectrum of things. Yeah, I don't even know shit about STEM. And it could be, it could just be so specific. So, like, aren't you all working towards the same goal? Yeah. I don't think that dude is really in a position to be removing more.
Starting point is 01:07:58 women in his workplace and life. There's not very many there. But also, like, it's just never that serious. Your success could mean their failure. Maybe get your bread up then, bitch. Be better. Maybe, yeah, maybe try harder, I don't know. Maybe if the freshmen are intimidating you as a
Starting point is 01:08:14 senior. Yeah. Maybe if you were as smart as me, you wouldn't feel a certain. How about that? Me excluding you is because you're better than me. Okay, interesting take on I'm a dumb ass. That's a real, real fancy way of saying that you don't got it like that. That's a nice one pronouncing, I don't study.
Starting point is 01:08:33 Yeah, literally. This next one says, the people saying, oh, my engineering classes, oh, my engineering classes were mainly males. The college can't do anything about women, not enrolling in those classes. It's not even necessarily that. It's more so the fact that a lot of times they're squeezed out. Yeah. It's like they're keeping the women there in it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:51 It's like, it's like not cultivating an environment where it's welcome and open to all, any and all genders that want to like study a specific research based i don't even know topic so it's not even the fact that it's mostly men a lot of times it's mostly men because women don't want to subject themselves to fields like that because then it's like you're fighting two fights you're doing school and you're fighting every day it's exhausting to fight the power every day i just want to look at microscope yeah i want to wear my lab coat yeah do my little researchy and then go home i think it's honestly, this is a very interesting conversation I was having with a friend back in university. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:29 Where she's also in her final year and she was like, it's very rare that the professors themselves actually stand up to the douche bros of the class. Yeah, the students, yeah. Yeah. And she was saying, she was in a political science class. Yeah. And there was a dude who would always interrupt, but only interrupt her. And she's a hijabi girl.
Starting point is 01:09:47 Yeah. And the second or third time, she was recounting the story of this professor. And she was like, this is the only professor's ever done this for me. the second or third time he interrupted he's like I want you to really try and understand why you think it's okay for you to interrupt her every time she talks yeah yeah
Starting point is 01:10:05 crazy how that works yeah I wish professors would do that yeah like call a student's bias out to their face in front of the class so there's no avoiding it well and then it's like that's your that you're watching it happen you're almost watching you're almost watching bigotry take shape and form
Starting point is 01:10:24 form in front of you. In someone, you're watching it grow. Molded. Yeah, and you're watching it fester and you're watching it like almost like tangibly become someone and not saying anything is just as harmful as doing it yourself. They just don't think it's their job and I'm like, you're teaching. Well, in college too where like high school and below like first form like education is like it's harder because they get their overworked and underpaid.
Starting point is 01:10:53 So I understand to an extent But there are teachers that go above and beyond Because they just love being a teacher And they deserve more money for that But like when you get to the next level Like a higher education At that point Yeah yeah where they're adults
Starting point is 01:11:08 They're about to enter the workforce Like you would think Developing their culture Like in that grey space And they're molding their personality And there are professors who like I don't think we should do what you want Yeah
Starting point is 01:11:18 They're like In the workplace also tons of bosses Who are like okay and it's and it's perpetuated by that it's just like it's a consistent behavior that's that's encouraged and not chastised in any way or criticized they can't be asked to like give enough of a shit about it yeah i mean when in a position of power yeah gotta do better man you got to do something like well and that doesn't make you uncomfortable exactly exactly it's like um a video i made recently i talked about like every terrible experience you have with the
Starting point is 01:11:51 the man, whether it's like in whatever capacity, the one common thing they always have in common is that there's always other people watching, other men present, watching it happen, and they stand there and they watch. And I said, and that, and that makes you a coward because it, because it does. You watch, you watch something happen, but then when you, the very few times someone reacts or pushes back or stands up for themselves, you have more to say to that person than you do about the injustice that you watched happen in the first place. And it's kind of like, it's this
Starting point is 01:12:24 ultimate contradiction because you're talking about how you treat people and what's the right way to treat someone. But you watched someone treat someone terribly and you didn't want to get involved. But now all of a sudden you want to get involved when someone sends up for them. And that's me always. That's like the story of my life
Starting point is 01:12:41 when it comes to men who criticize me. They always want to talk more about me than about what it is I was talking about in the first place. that's a you problem bitch I agree and I think honestly 90% of those men
Starting point is 01:12:53 if you got them in public and you were like do you think women deserve less rights than men blindly they'll say no and I'm like what do you treat the women in your life the same way you treat the boys in your life yeah
Starting point is 01:13:03 I mean they're like well not we're not talking about me anymore and that's the problem yeah in those instances they literally immediately they'll clam up they won't say anything
Starting point is 01:13:15 the amount of times I've like flipped out on dudes who were sexually harassing myself or other women in my vicinity, and there were men watching it happen and did nothing, right? So then it's the same concept when you have teachers watching it happen. Like, you're just watching. Yeah. You're not doing anything about it.
Starting point is 01:13:32 I think it's a question of how much are you willing to engage with your discomfort. Yeah, absolutely. And I think women are constantly taught that discomfort is your default state. It's your responsibility, your obligation at this point. You got to find the. comfort somewhere. Yeah. Or comfort yourself.
Starting point is 01:13:50 Yeah. And with men, when people are like, yeah, we need men to be part of feminist conversations and like just generally treating the women in your life in a more intentional way. Yeah. Like, what am I actually thinking when I do this? Yeah. This is just what I know to do. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:06 It's that. It's can you confront your uncomfortability? Yeah. Can you be like, oh, I did X, Y, Z shitty things in the past. Yeah. These are the effects of it. Yeah. I know I shouldn't do them.
Starting point is 01:14:16 Are you willing to not do them? in a conscious way because these were unconscious actions you took. Yeah. The ones that are unconsciously shitty. The consciously shitty ones are like... Yeah. You're not again. No, literally. Those people lost cause. Just make fun of them. Call their feet small. That's what I say. And then I'll just do
Starting point is 01:14:32 one more of these. So it says in my engineering classes there are only two girls or none but probably because women seem to be more interested in nursing and dental school. That's very specific.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Dental school is sexist now What the That's a woman's job Teeth that's for women Your fellas Nursing that's for women Is it straight to want a nurse To that same
Starting point is 01:15:01 So that same sentiment I'll raise you a scenario Lots of men take like communication Because it's easy So how about that bitch Comutuzing that mean There's like communication majors I have a conversation
Starting point is 01:15:15 And I can say that because I'm a communications major. Really? I'm a double major, yeah. I had a journalism degree and communications. But it helps with my job now, so period. Hey. But that's Communications. Yeah, communications is like that's the joke about them, is that it's easy.
Starting point is 01:15:31 So that you just have to take a lot of classes because it can be anything. Right, right, right. So that's the same joke. I raise you. I raise you one. Women want to be nurses. I don't want to be a nurse. Why is that a bet? It's like anything women want to do is like tinge with this
Starting point is 01:15:46 Yeah, they like a nurse. That's what they think. You pass out when you like nick yourself. Yeah, it's so lame to want to help people stay alive. Cleaning, tea. What a chick thing to do. Take care of people. Gross.
Starting point is 01:16:03 Could never be me. Not now, Tommy. Ignoring my chick. What a chick thing. My God, there was this comment section that was ripping apart this, what it was his family. video that was like, the husband posted and they were like, babysitting my
Starting point is 01:16:20 child and they're like, I mean parenting? Your own child? Yeah. Babysitting. Baby sitting my own child. Oh my God. Shit like that makes my ass itch bro. It really does. I'm like, don't have a kid if you're going to ask like that. How are you going to admit that to the internet? Your kids
Starting point is 01:16:36 can watch that. Your kids are going to grow up and watch that and be like my dad. Don't procreate is what I say. That's how you think and you treat women like shit. Don't procreate. We don't need more of you in this world. I can promise you that. I made that joke to someone once and they were like, that's the meanest thing you could ever say to me.
