It was like you made a video that was supposed to be like satire. I was like silly in the beginning.

It was like it came off weird, but then it was silly at the end. Yeah. I was like I was talking about like women with armpit hair. Yeah. I was like this goes up. If you're a woman you have armpit hair and there was like a slight little pause and I don't give a shit. Like bring that ass over and everybody just immediately just like started tagging.

I was like, what's happening? What's happening? That's why I was like, I always do my research and I was like, he's not bad y'all. Like, this is not, and I saw the video you made in response to someone tagging me. Yeah.

And you were like, you guys don't love me. You guys are trying to get me killed. Yeah. And then you were like, don't worry, guys. This guy's cool. Yeah. Dot, dot, dot, for now. And I was like, okay, she's watching me.

For now. That's what I would say. Healthy dose of fear, never hurt anybody. No, no, no. Yeah. I actually really do love your content, though. I enjoy your content and you as a creator.

So that's why we're mutes. moots, mutuals, forever. And I've loved your content for a long time. Thank you. I feel like the kind of representation that you bring to social media is so important because it's like at the intersection of like what it means to be a man, which is our topic for today. What it really means to be a man, whatever that means.

That like whole sentiment is so differently defined depending on your internalized biases. So I feel like, you remind me of my boyfriend, like someone who's so incredibly comfortable in their sexuality and their expression, their gender expression, in who they are as a person, that they don't fear equality. And they don't fear things like expressing yourself through clothes, through makeup, through jewelry, through nails, whatever it may be. That's what I love about your platform.

No, thank you. I mean, I've always kind of been that outcast growing up. Like, I never really had that person to look up to you growing up. It's like I kind of had to like go over the hill and get bullied. And I was like, well, I'm already getting bullied. So I might as well just kind of roll with the punches. Yeah. So I've seen your videos too where you talk about wearing dresses, wearing skirts and how first of all,

clothing is engendered. So it's not even that serious. It's not a revolutionary idea for someone who identifies as a man to wear a skirt. But also you were talking about how like you have always wanted to express yourself that way but never felt like or you could. could when you were younger, but kids are so mean when you're growing up, especially in a heteronormative society. So what made you want to like really come forward and really started expressing yourself? Like, was there anything that happened? Was it more so like, you just grew up and you were like, you know what? I choose me. I'm going to express myself however I want. I think it's weird

because, so I started painting my nose when I was 10 years old and I was like, I didn't know what nail polish was. I just saw this wrestler called Jeff Hardy. Oh yeah. And he painted his nails. So I would just be in class and I would paint them but I would paint them but I would hide them and like at the moment it was like oh I was embarrassed I was humiliated but in hindsight I'm like no I was truly doing that for me yeah you know what I mean because I still did it yeah but I just didn't want you to see it but like I would look at him like oh this is so cool yeah and hide it and I think growing up and you know getting bullied and I figured you know I'm gonna get bullied for it anyways I might as well do it and then when I started doing the TikToks and I remember there was this kid um that made

this video and he was wearing lipstick and earrings and nails and his mom something in his video and he was like thank you so much for letting me know that I can be myself oh that's so sweet and it just made me in that moment realize like okay this is bigger than yeah yeah you know it's like absolutely because i can be that person that these kids can look up to that like painting their nails and dressing feminine and whether they don't they don't identify they don't know if they want to be yeah necessarily necessarily straight or queer or trans or just want to express themselves. Yeah, it's just expression at that point. Yeah, just expression.

So being that person that they can look at and point and be like, oh, it's okay for me to do that. Yeah. I think that's important. Yeah, absolutely it is. Representation is one of the few things that, like, makes me emotional. But I, I, don't tell the man. But I, that's one of the few things that gets me because it's so much more powerful than you realize. And that was something for me too, as far as like my platform and what it is I do and what I look like and how I'm built.

And all of that is like so important. And it's a big piece of your platform is like how you present to the world is so representative of so many people who never get to see themselves in media. And like specifically like for me, I'm someone. So like someone people are non-existent in media unless you can count the rock. which that's like if people say someone they're like, oh, like the rock. Like that's like the only person they can reference. Which is true, he is someone.

And then there's like Jason Momoah, but he's Hawaiian. So it's like that's it. There's no women really. There are someone women in the media, but they're not as well known as someone like the rock. So, you know, like it's so rare

for someone people in general to be represented in a light that has nothing to do with athleticism that has nothing to do with like their physical being. it's like just in media like for being funny for being smart for being a great singer for being talented in ways that don't rely on your physicality so like when i first started getting messages about representation and how like much it meant to them and how it makes them feel oh it makes me

emotional i'm sure it makes you emotional no it does i think um and i don't mean to like get deep and get into like you know philosophical or something like that but i truly i truly there's something that like I learned through going to therapy is that you know we have this idea of of happiness and it's like a destination but I feel like what we're really looking for is like purpose and I feel like the universe gives everybody a set of skills to share with the world to make the world a better place and I feel like that's what you've done with your platform thank you is that you found this purpose and you're sharing that with the world and you're you're this light that people can point to and be like because like not only are you representation but you're also cool you know fashionable you're

confident yourself you do these cool things and people can look at you and be like oh i look like her yeah i can do that i can be that like that's i feel about yours same thing with you that's it's so important like to to see yourself like to see someone who looks exactly like you or expresses themselves in the way that you want to as well and not be afraid of criticism or judgment or anything because inherently as humans we do fear judgment or being perceived in a way that's not aligned with who we really are yeah and and And I feel like people like you are so important on the internet because you are showing people there is no one right way to be a man or to present as a person as a man or as someone who's manly or whatever that means. Like it's none of it's real.

Yeah. First of all. And I even when I talk about how gender expression, well, gender in general like the gender binaries, a man-made construction. Like we've literally created it out of thin air. Like it's not real. It's just something we've created. and we've adhered to for thousands of years. So every time I bring that up, people are like, ugh.

You just like want to talk about you? And I'm like, that's just a different hornet sness that I've kicked before. But it's literally because, like, it's true. And so, and that's why once you let it go, you feel so much lighter. I bet you felt so much lighter when you were like, you know, fuck all this. I'm going to start dressing and presenting exactly the way I want to. Yeah, it's like it's the power of just like being fearless. Yeah.

I'm sure, and you know the amount of trolls and the amount of hate comments you get. I was going to ask you about hate. Yeah. Oh, it's ridiculous. All the time. My favorite is like, sometimes it's like really poetic. So it was like someone once said you lack substance and nature and wildlife will celebrate when your life is absent or something like that. And I was like.

Yeah. And I was like, wow. Okay Shakespeare. Like I was actually genuinely impressed that like you took the time to be that poet. Girl, is that my therapist? Yeah. On their burner. On their burner account?

They're trolling you. Amanda? Is that you? That's so funny. Oh, my God. But, yeah, like, they really take their time with that hate. And I always just think to myself. Truly.

Yeah, and, like, especially when they take time to make a full video essay about you. Oh, my God. I know you get a ton of those. The way a new white person finds me every six months, and they're like, this is why you think that Drew's home. Oh, my God. I can't imagine the effort it takes to, like, you set up your, you're like, Like, you know what, tomorrow, I'm going to wake up early and I'm going to make a video about Drew. And you know the people that, like, made those videos.

At Sazabelle, you have like 16 drafts where they start it up. They're like, they press it and they're like, oh, man, I started a little bit. It's like that millennial pause when they're like, and another thing. And another thing. And you know when Drew, no, that's not right. Yeah, they're like, you start. They're like, they're doing the timer thing where like they can't get the right. They're like trying to hit the point nine, but it always goes to like point one.

They're like, damn. That's so funny. There was one guy that obsessed over me for like, this is not a joke like eight months. Like he literally would keep, he would make 15 videos about me, say the craziest shit. Like he called me a fat cunt in one of them. And then he said like that I was, I was deleting his videos because I apparently I'm controlling the controls at TikTok apparently. So like he called me that and he said it was my fault that got taken down. I'm all, okay.

I, you know. And so he kept revisiting me. and he literally was like researching me and like was trying to like like connect all these dots that didn't exist. And it was like the craziest narratives he was building around me. And it was so funny because someone at one point

commented on one of his thousands of videos about me because he would make videos get banned for like 72 days, come back and then start over again. Like he kept doing it. And then like someone literally wrote, hey man like I don't really like her either but like are you going to ever go back to your original content or are you just going to talk about her?

I was like, I'm so dead. I'm so dead, bro. He's like, okay, I'm over it. Okay, I'm over it. I don't want to see it anymore, bitch. Thank you. That's so good. Even the other haters are like, you know what, man?

I'm a hater too. Yeah, yeah, you're wearing me out. Yeah, this is a lot of hate. This is too much hate for me. Yeah, for me. I'm a certified hater. And this is a lot of hate. At this point, I mean, are you ever going to go back to original content?

Or I was like, damn, not your own followers. Yeah, they're all people turn it against you. Yeah, they're literally like, okay, enough. Yeah. We get it. enough. Well, you know how horrible you have to be

for your own bigoted followers to be like, maybe we lay off. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, they're tempting. Yeah, they start turning around. Like, you know,

she's actually not that bad. Like I actually... The more you talk about her. The more I'm kind of changing my mind a little bit. It's kind of cool. Like... Well, that you're a perfect example of how like, if the shoe doesn't fit and won't bother you.

Yeah. So I've talked countless times, but one thing they don't do is listen. So like, I've always said like everything I say specific to the person I'm talking to. And specifically, if you fall in that category, I'm talking about you too, bitch. So if you're awful and you just so happen to be five, two, I'm going to make fun of you

for being five, too, because you've got to pick one. It's literally in the Bible. So, like, it says, like, you can't be ugly and short and also terrible. Like, it literally says that. So I'm, I, you're a perfect example of someone who doesn't get offended because it doesn't apply to you. Yeah, exactly. And you're also really tall.

So statistically, I'm no scientist, but clearly I'm right, right? So my boyfriend's tall too and he's not horrible. So the math simply is mathing. Yeah, I mean. You know what's crazy about those guys, though? It's like, I remember like I made this one video and I was like wearing a dress and one of the comments was like, you're gay. Right? Which is like, I always look at that as like, well, thank you.

Like I have a lot of gay friends and they're super dope. Yeah. So I like flip it. Yeah, I get those about being trans. They say that to me all the time, and I'm like, that's not an insult to me, but okay. Yeah. But like, as, okay, so as a man, I went and I was like, I made a video making fun of that comment, replying to it, of me wearing a dress and heels, lipstick, wig. I went to the gym, and then I, like, bench press three plates.

And, like, I'm responding to him. I'm like, all right, point number one, do a press, and I'm like, being gay, there's nothing wrong with that. Yeah. Did another one of 315. And then all of a sudden, I got a bunch of comments with guys like, Oh, this guy's pretty jacked. I guess it's pretty cool. One thing they can't.

It's like what? One thing they cannot fight is like is that. It's like physical fit. They cannot fight that. Like it's like an illness. Yeah, but I just don't understand like it's like this like caveman mentality of like, oh, I thought you were gay, but then you lift heavy weight. And now I think man lived heavy.

Man not gay. Man not gay. Clearly he can't be. That's science. Man lift more than I live. It's literally like, you know when you like put up a homing signal and then like all these things like, have you ever seen Ricker Ralph? Of course. Okay.

You know how like the scene in Ricker Ralph when they do the little light and all those bugs are like, hmm? Yeah. They fly to it. That's literally men with the gym. Like men like that as soon as you show that you're like physically fit or strong, they're like, uh, he's cool. Yeah. Like everything's a race. Yeah, exactly.

No other thought other than men lift heavy. That's it. Yeah, and it's like I'm lifting in like heels like that and then they're like, hmm, that's impressive. The heel leverage. It's like, what are you? Is that good for your calves? Yeah, like, how'd you find the weight? It's like, bro.

You're missing the point. You're literally missing the point. It's the same deal with my boyfriend being like, obviously my boyfriend was in the fitness industry for a long time. So my boyfriend was a personal trainer. And he worked at a commercial gym, then he went private and then he had his own personal training business. which by the way the crazy this is off topic the craziest rumor I've ever seen was that my dad was a cop who funded my boyfriend's personal training business that's something the little white kids are telling each other on TikTok I said girl what what does they're like calling me a nepo baby but like because my dad was a cop I'm like what what what are the requirements of being a nepo baby I feel like ever since this term became popular apparently like if your dad's a cop then he gives you almost a 8 million followers on TikTok. Yeah.

Apparently. So anyways, back to my boyfriend. Like, he would get, because he's like physically in shape and he's not ugly, right? So, and he's tall and he looks like what they deemed to be like a manly man or whatever, just like you. They're like, oh, this guy looks so good, but he's dating a mean bitch. And so they'll be literally like, I hate your girlfriend, but you look really good.

Like, they'll literally DM him that. They're like, Hey, man. Sick, sick lips. Like, hey, honestly, I need a couple tips on my bench. Like, just out of curiosity. Also, I hate your fat bitch girlfriend, just by the way. Yo, that's so... They do that all the time.

It's my boyfriend. All the time. It's the weirdest thing. It's so weird. It's so weird. And it's like, they're projecting this thing. You know, I don't know if you know what I'm gay. It's like, they're, it's like, oh, she's such a mean bitch, blah, blah, blah, but yo, sick physique.

Yeah, but you? you look good. What's your left split, bro? Are you doing like upper body? Just out of curiosity. Like, if I wanted to grow my biceps, like, what would you board your best tips be for that? Yeah.

It's just such an illness. I told you it's literally, that's literally what they do. They turn into. I literally had this conversation with one of my friends, she's lesbian. And we were like having this conversation about how like, when guys call me gay, I'm like, this would be the most extreme solution. Yeah.

But like, if a guy's like, oh, you're gay. And I'm like, well, thank you. But I'm not. but we can solve this. Like, what if we just like drop our pants, put on some gay porn? Kiss me on the lips right now. Yeah, kiss me. Let's see, let's make out and see who gets hard.

Let's just try it out, man. Listen. Let's see. I may tell a joke, but I'd never tell a lie. Yeah. That's, and it's also, it's so, I think it's like their brains, like, literally short-circuiting because they've been conditioned to believe this very, specific idea of what a man should be.

And then also what women should be. And they don't believe in non-binary people. Of course they don't. They don't believe in trans people. Of course they don't. And so when you're operating within this gender binary, they're like, well, if women are loud, if they talk back, if they're independent, if they don't, like, if they're rude, whatever they consider to be rude or mean, then they're going to, they're clearly

fat. They're clearly single. And they're clearly, like, literally this guy recently made a video about me unprovoked. I've never seen this man in my life. But his name had the word karate in it. So do without what you will. But he literally was like, don't talk about me now. Don't talk about me now.

Like, as if I was talking about it. It's almost like I came in halfway through the conversation. I was like, I tweeted the video. I'm like, does anyone know why this guy's talking to me? Like, I know who he is? Like, I've never seen this man in my life. And he was like, I'll hurt your feelings. I'm Mr. Disrespectful.

Like, he said this whole thing. and this girl stitched him and she tagged me in it and she was like, I'm just curious, like, what could you say? Like at this point, what do you think she hasn't heard

at this point? And she's like, you guys call her fat and ugly, you guys make fun of her looks. Like, she's not single. Her man's hot. She's rich.

Like, she has a career. She's busy. What do you think you could say to her? Like, at this point, like, what do you think you could say that would bring her down for real? Because she was like, for real.

Like, you're going to make her quit with your insults? how? And also like, I don't understand these guys that go after you for like, like what sort of clout

do you think they're going to gain from that? I don't know. A bunch of like women are going to come to their page also shit on them. And then what do they think like manscape is going to come

I'm like, because sometimes random dudes with huge followings will get these like they'll go through these spells where they're like I should attack Drew and then they like make a video talking about how much they love Andrew Tate and they hate me and then they lose like hundreds of thousands of followers like immediately they get overrun and I'm like if you don't like me keep it to yourself exactly if the girls find out they will not be nice to you yeah they will not be kind to you I don't understand like the mental like gymnastics they go to be like... Yeah, there's no future in that. There's none.

The same with people who attack you. There's no future in that. Like, you think you're going to build a platform off being a horrible person. Like, then they'll be like, you're the horrible person, you're the platform. Clearly I'm not. Yeah.

Clearly I'm not. So like... And then it's like, freedom of speech. I can say whatever I want. It's like, sure. True. But no one has to like you also. That's true.

Yeah, exactly. No one's entitled. No one has to listen to you. No one has to agree with you. Yeah. And that's our... And also... that means I get to call you ugly.

So, like, when they say freedom of speech, I'm like, freedom of speech, okay, that applies to me too. Yeah. So I can say whatever you said something about me. Like, sometimes they'll write like these terrible comments in my videos. And they have no pictures, obviously. And then I'll tell them, send me a picture of you. I dare you. I dare you.

Send me a picture of you right now. I will post it and I will talk about what you look like. It's always no photo. Mm-hmm. A cartoon character and anime character. Anime, yeah. Or that little alien, like, default one that's on there. Or it's like a picture of like their back.

Like they're like, dude, the back picks. Oh my God. Sometimes. Yeah, you want to give you some pussy today? Yeah.

Sometimes they see them and they're like in the middle of their gym progress. Like my boyfriend described it as like, you could tell this guy just started going to the gym because of the way they act and the way they talk and, and they write hateful things on my videos. And so sometimes I'll just write like, you don't look very good. Yeah. That's it.

East them alive. Hey, your, your progress is not very good. good. Yeah, they read that comment and then they immediately put on like one of those motivational videos. Those men only videos. The ones are like there's a dude in a suit and he's walking in slow mo and it's like they don't know that I'm a villain now or something like that. It's the beginning of my villain era. Yeah, it's like devil emojis or whatever. Patrick Bateman. They always have him. Or it's like some, it's like a Batman. And it's not even like a Batman He's like Batman suiting up, taking off his mask, and just some random dude, like, the road never ends to success.

Yeah, it's just like that phony inspirational shit. Oh my God. The tea about that is I'm the real Batman. No, fact. You know what I mean? Like, I'm the real Batman. Like, I take it a little too far when I'm beating up terrible people. You know what I mean?

Nobody asked me to do it, but I just took it upon myself to go find people and be awful to them. You know what I'm saying? Nobody asked me to do that. I just started doing it. into your video. You want some? No, no, I'm good. I'm good, Drew. Yeah, it's literally like me taking it upon myself to go and fight crime. Like, no one asked me to do that, but I kind of just did it. No, I love it. And then the city always debates the morality of how I do it. It's literally me. I'm Batman,

literally. When I watched Black Adam, I was like, literally me. Yeah. It's so nice to see yourself represented on screen. Anti-heroes. That's my thing. That's my vibes. Okay, so obviously we went over. We're going to talk about what it means to be a real man with quotes, obviously, because neither of us believe in the gender binary. We don't operate within it. We don't think it's the only thing that we should operate within. So what we like to do here on the comment section is we bring videos that are applicable to our topic, and then we kiki, we laugh about them, tear them apart,

whatever's necessary. So this first video says, this older guy is wearing a suit talking to the camera and he says that being a real man means being head of the household and being the main financial provider. He says it's his responsibility to make sure he provides shelter, food, and clothing to his family and that men these days need to get a backbone. Yeah. So, okay, where do we start with this? I, okay, so funny, I'll start here.

I'll start here. So I saw that video. Oh, did you? Yeah. I think I know. Is he in a car talking, if I remember correctly? He might just be some, no, no, I think he's not that he lives in his car. I'm just, was he in the car when he filmed the video? I can't remember.

I think he was just like on a couch talking to some guy with like a suit on or something. Okay, I got it, got it. And so just for, you know, shits and gigs, I was like, I just Googled like, is being a real man. You know what I mean? And I found like these, the first searches were like either like self-help books on how to be a real man or people asking the question on forums of what's the difference between a good man and a real man which I was like okay red flag red flag that this is like horror nothing but horror and all those corners yeah exactly and I'm like this is so weird that like that men need feel the need to differentiate like a good

man versus like is a good man necessarily a real man yeah what a strange division like those two things can't be the same exactly it's like growing up it's like growing up they've been taught that like in order to be a real man it's like you got to be awful yeah you have to be this bad person you have to stand up and be like no my way or the highway because I'm a man and I know best but like the way that I grew up is like slippery slope but the way that I grew up is like around a woman much like yourself they're like strong independent single parent home it was me my mom and so when I was growing up femininity was like strength was powerful yeah it was never like the man of the house wasn't taking care of stuff like my mom was the badass my mom my mom

my dad left my mom never asked for child support my mom was like if you're not going to be around i don't want your money yeah i'll take care of myself and she held it down so it was like me growing up looking at femininity i've always been like i never saw like masculinely being stronger or better than because i was like my mom's a badass yeah literally she's a woman yeah a woman are badass yeah so it's like your vision on the world is so different from what like heteronormative, like extremely bigoted view of women has been for other men. Yeah. Yeah.

So I think with that video, it's like, sure, there's certain aspects of that. Like, yeah, you want to be kind. You want to take care of the people that are around you. You know what I'm saying? But I think at the end of the day, being a man just comes down to just being a good person. Yeah. Like. Really quite simple.

Yeah. I always think they overcomplicate things when they try. to like search for the deeper meaning it's like if you're just a good person i think you'll be okay like like work out the way you want it to men always over complicated it's like even with like those like gym motivational things it's always like it's like wake up 5 30 blah blah blah take a cold shower take a cold shower thinking about what you done work on things every single day and you'll be successful and it's like well yeah if you practice and you work at something every single day like yeah inherently you will be inherently you will eventually if i play trumpet every single day starting now

A year from now, I'm going to be Perfect. Yeah, I'm going to be all right. Proficient at it, yeah, at the very least. As long as you're consistent. Yeah. I didn't need some guy with a suit and tie with an audio book to tell me over 18 chapters. No shit. Like, no, literally. And it's also, I feel like a lot of times too that That idea of a man that's projected through like self-help books, depending on who it is, a lot of times it can, it's just a veiled misogyny. Like it's like a, it's almost always void of.

empathy. They're like, you can't feel anything negative or sad or not even really joy. Like, the only feeling you should have is like motivation driven by negativity. Like it's like you can't feel anything that's not like driving you towards like success in whatever way. And that mentality is feeds into capitalism. It's like a capitalist mindset. It's like you have to work this many hours for this many days for this many years in order to live a successful life, which we've since proven is not true. And it's like, it's just, it all ties together, like misogyny, white supremacy, capitalism, like it's all literally a never ending loop. And that's why I'm always like, aren't you guys like, well, first of all, when men are like, you have to be the main provider, you have to be this,

But because this guy told me and it's like they just they short circuit. They short circuit and they're malfunctioned.

i think that's just the key to being a good person and and building a better world as cliche and corneaism may seem, but it's okay to be yourself. Yeah. You know, lead with love.
