Additional terms, conditions, and restrictions apply. I'm afraid of fruit, like the food group.
Oh, like the food group. Have you rid of it?
Really?
Like, it's the peels. It's the peels. The peels mixed into the dirty Toronto snow. It's like a minefield for me.
She doesn't go out. We're not alone. Leansies. She is inside. Did you see how many Clementines were outside my house?
I can't leave. It's a minefield out there.
Everyone and welcome back to another episode of the comment section show.
Sorry, me, your fave, who cares about me?
On to the guest.
Today we have the iconic, the legendary, the unbelievably talented, the beaches.
Thanks for having us.
Welcome to the show, ladies.
Should we go down the line so everyone could do their names just in case someone doesn't know?
I'm Kylie.
I'm Jordan.
I'm Leandra.
I'm Eliza.
And period.
And I'm Drew.
Are you joining the band?
Should join her.
Yeah, sure.
If you'll have me.
I can't sing, can't play an instrument.
What do you got for me?
You bring the vibes.
Yeah, bring the vibes.
I can do that.
Yeah.
This episode is presented to you by eBay.
We all have that piece.
You know the one.
The thing that's so you, you've basically become known for it.
And if you don't have yours yet, you'll find it on eBay.
Let me put you on, team.
eBay is where you'll find those one-of-a-kind, can't stop researching,
stay up dreaming about pieces again and again.
I'm talking that off-the-runway, red leather bomber you've had your eye on.
the trendy top with the cowboy on it, or that sleek fleece from the 2017 colorway.
All these finds are on eBay.
And they even offer millions of main character pieces backed by authenticity guarantee.
eBay is the place for pre-loved and vintage fashion.
eBay, things people love.
I recently said I'm trying to learn how to DJ.
Are you really?
Yeah.
You're probably way further ahead than me in the process.
It's hard.
Because y'all are musicians.
I don't know.
It doesn't translate.
It's hard.
We had a coach.
We had like a DJ friend of us teach us.
And like she made a PowerPoint presentation for us.
It was very cute.
Oh, nice.
Shout out DJ Levi.
CJ, DJ Levi.
Professor DJ Lee.
A PowerPoint?
My kind of girl.
Yeah.
And well, to promote this new record, we wanted to like throw parties.
And we each took a turn spinning and...
I wouldn't call it spinning.
Yeah.
Button pressing?
Batting and fading out.
Yeah.
Fating and fading.
Fading.
playing an iPad playlist
Like that's what we
Right I've said that before
I'm like I want to be the kind of DJ that's like
On the Ox like what do I'm just when I'm just
Cueing bangers
Yeah she had she had like
Usher and Evanescence next to each other
Okay see
Crazy look at you
But you faded in at one point and it was
It's really sounded like a car crash
You also did a lot of like records fetching too
Yeah I'm kind of really good
Yeah
All right I'll say it I'm the best
Well I'm excited to have
y'all, honored to have you. Congratulations on the record. Thank you. How are we feeling?
Really good. I mean, I was really nervous to put this out because it sort of came after
the record, the record that we had put out earlier was all about my breakup and it was like very
personal and it also like went viral. So we were kind of feeling a lot of stress and pressure
to follow up playing my ex. And I kind of got around it by like not writing about my
experiences as much, but more like leaning on the chaotic lives of my bandmates.
Oh, that's nice.
Yeah.
Okay.
They just had more cool stories and they were going through, they were going through like really
bad breakups and some really dramatic shit.
She's like, I traumatized the first time.
So it's someone else's chance.
Yeah.
Let's round Robin.
Yeah.
Well, before we get into that, into the new record, can you all give me a little bit of a,
some tea on how you all came to me?
Yeah.
I know you two are sisters, yes.
That's right.
You're just like me and my sister.
Same face, different hair.
Yeah.
Same exact face different hair.
Absolutely.
What's the age difference between you guys?
Two years.
Okay.
Almost the same.
Oh, do.
We're pretty close in age.
We're like 14 months.
Yeah.
Okay, Irish twins.
I love that.
And so we went to public school with Eliza,
and we were forming a band when we,
we've been in advance since we were like 12 years old.
Love.
So we were on like the Disney Channel equivalent in Canada.
Did you feel represented by Freaky Feet?
Friday. We have a song in Freakyer Friday. Okay. I know.
Two songs. Two songs. Two songs. Two songs. Two songs. Very full circle moment for us.
But anyway, continue. And then we started playing together in our band, Dumb with Dolls.
And Leandra actually was a super fan of our Disney band. And that's how we met her.
Okay. I'm a freak. Yep. Absolutely.
Snuck my way in, didn't know. She did. No, she actually became friends with our old member.
Yeah.
We don't talk about it.
Literally.
Didn't you go to see Twilight with her?
Let's not talk about her.
But we became the beaches and had Leander join when we were in high school and we've been doing it ever since.
That was like 13 years ago.
Do you all remember your first gig where you were like, oh my God, this feels like for real?
Like as a quad?
Yeah.
Well, I'd say actually the first show with you, probably.
The one at that in Toronto there was this place called the Riverside that we played at.
and it was our first show with Leandra, and it was like, it felt really good, because it felt
like very natural, and, like, we could keep doing this for many years, and we did.
I mean, only our dads were there pretty much, because it was really late.
And a couple drunk, like, locals, you know what I still felt good.
That's all you need.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I remember we had just come back from a writing session in L.A., and we played Riot Fest,
rest in peace.
That's no longer there in Toronto.
And to me, like, that was the first time where it wasn't, like, just middle-aged people
coming to see us, but, like, you know, younger folks.
folks.
Lesbians.
Yes.
That's when they found you.
Well, kind of.
Yeah.
I don't know if they were there.
They weren't quite there yet.
I wasn't out, so I was like, stay away.
I was like, can't control.
Yeah.
That's so fucking cool.
Yeah.
When did you guys have, like, feel like you were like, okay, I think this is like
real like happening for us.
Because obviously you've been in the band for a long time.
Yeah.
Maybe when we got signed to Island.
Yeah.
high school because then we were like let's try doing this and not going to university yeah definitely and
we kind of we actually were in l.a a lot we would we lived at this place called the oakwood
apartments which is like now called avalon or eva you drove by yesterday it's in burbank it's
it's literally just child actors and porn stars and then us and then she just yeah it's a wild area
and the ghost of rick james is there oh that's right nice he came to see me one night it's
Were you scared?
He shook my bed.
Just my bed.
And I woke Kylie.
Are you looking?
Are you seeing this bed?
And she's like, yeah, I see it shaking.
And she went back to bed.
Yeah, go ahead.
Thank you.
I'm going to ignore that.
And then we started going on tour.
We toured in the UK a lot.
That's kind of where we got like a bit of our start.
Oh, love.
Yeah.
And then things kind of took off like more recently with Blame Brett going viral.
Yeah.
On TikTok.
That's kind of where we got.
like the worldwide success.
Whatever.
And you guys did Coachella this year.
Yes.
How was that?
Yes, that is where we met drunk in the artist section.
Absolutely.
Teffi introduced us.
Yeah, with Leffi, our angel Teffi.
I love that.
Oh, she knows everyone.
She's very connected.
How was your Coachella set?
How exciting?
It was very fun.
It was very hot the first weekend.
Oh, girl, I know.
It was brutal.
But no, it went super well.
We were all so nervous because obviously Coachella is like a bucket list.
Always has been a bucket list item for us.
But it went super well.
The second weekend I felt like because the weather was better, it went a little bit better.
Oh, okay.
But yeah, it was a dream for us.
And we partied the entire week in between.
Yeah.
It was my birthday on the Lady Gaga night.
Oh, my God.
How excited.
It was very, very great.
It was awesome.
That feels very like fate.
Yeah.
I miss your birthday.
I had stress.
You were on a bit of a tear.
I was kissing to me.
I was on one.
She was on one at Coachella.
Well, that's what happens when you're kissing a bunch.
That's right.
At least you didn't get mono.
That would have been worse.
There's still time, Leander.
Don't worry.
The year's not over yet.
Yeah.
Well, you guys were touring.
You said you were touring a lot in the UK.
How was that?
It was really fun.
I mean, the four of us and our tour manager at the time,
we did stay in like a one bedroom flat for a month.
Yeah, back in the month.
the day. And Jordan did get
mono and pneumonia. I got mono and pneumonia.
And the cat sprayed
Kylie's open suitcase. Yeah.
Everything's felt like cat pee.
It was pretty wild but it also was like
so bonding. We were like 16 and it was
the first time like just running around London.
I think you're living to tell the tale.
As friends still.
It's a testament to it. We had
to go to our high school in Toronto and we were like
can we go? We're going on tour and they're like
you can't just leave school for a month.
And you're all, okay, well, I already bought the plane ticket.
They did threaten to expel us.
Which is kind of weird because it was a music school.
You'd think they'd be like excited, but they were like, no.
D, fail. You know what I mean?
I still hold it against them, but it's fine.
Do you guys still like touring over there? Do you like touring in general?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's fun.
Yeah.
They're just there for a bunch of festivals.
Yeah.
We never went to the UK.
We're really big in Belgium for some reason.
Yeah, it's very strange.
They love the beaches in Belgium.
They do.
We've had like a couple number ones in that country.
It's very shocking.
The Laura's like, no, we haven't.
No, we have it.
I mean, it's like, no, number one.
They actually hate you guys.
Feel free to fact check me.
We're like number one on a countdown for like a weekend playlist.
She's like, yeah, we're number one.
Hey, you know what?
That's the kind of delusion I'm on.
I'm like, I was at the top of the charts.
Who's going to correct me?
I confidently, like,
like spew misinformation all the time.
I feel so bad about it.
But I'll say it's so confident.
I fact check all the time.
You guys hate it.
I'll always call you out.
That's not true.
On stage everything.
She'll always hit you with a fact check.
You know what?
You need one like you though.
You need delusion in the group too.
Just a little bit.
You need a little bit.
The lead singers, right?
Like, is it, Nelly Fittato's from here.
And the crap was silent.
I was like, she's literally not from me.
In the bike, yeah.
No, the fuck she's not.
I don't ever say that about Nellie Frittato.
No, literally.
What are your guys as signs?
I'm a cancer.

Arias. Okay. Virgo?
I clocked the Virgo from a mile away.
Really? The fact checking, I was like, so Virgo.
Wait, what's your sign? I'm a Virgo.
Oh. Yeah, so I'm also a no at all. T.
Oh, okay. September 18th.
Wait, September 20th. Shut the fuck up.
T, look at us. And Dick Jonas's birthday, September 16th.
I know. Well, it's obviously.
Hey, you have the biggest.
No, I don't know.
Lesbians for Nick Jonas.
I believe Kevin is number 5th.
Were you Big Jonas' brother fan?
Yeah.
Okay, T, so was I.
Yeah, but now I'm BFFs with Joe.
I'm going to say BFFs.
That's my guy.
Bafs.
It's okay.
We can lie on here.
I lie all the time.
Who's going to contact me?
Not me.
I know, exactly.
Who's going to correct me, Joe Jonas?
I say that about the Rock.
I'm like, that's literally my cousin.
That's literally my cousin.
Shout out of the wings.
I'm like, me and him, we go way back.
He met twice.
He did tweet us one time.
time. Oh my god, I forgot about that.
Oh, Duane Rock Johnson.
Oh, Duane Rock Johnson. Okay. It's when he was in
Baywatch. And I photoshopped
all of our heads onto the poster.
And then he was like,
he's like, I love this. And then he checked out our music.
He's like, I love give it up. I would love your music
for our music. He
quote tweeted it with like a pair. I was like, you
can, you're doing too much. What 20
year old lesbian is running this again?
I forgot about that.
You used to do a lot of Photoshop
work for us.
I love my cousin to do it.
You were working overtime.
That's the best.
I love a crude Photoshop.
It's not supposed to look good.
It's supposed to look bad.
I think I was probably the rock.
You were Dwayne.
Yeah.
You were the big bald head.
He was the biggest head on the biggest bond.
Yeah, there you go.
I love that you love the Jonas brother.
So did I.
I was balls deep in that shit when I was young.
Kylie was in Camp Rock too.
No way.
Yeah.
She was.
I was.
I was. That's how I got my first guitar.
She was a junior rocker.
You were a junior rocker?
I was the best friends with Frankie Jonas in the movie.
But they really skewered me.
They gave me like a funky pink hat in different forms every scene I was in.
So like these images just haunt me.
Like follow me around.
I'm always right behind Kevin Jonas.
Actually, the director did have to pull me aside at one point.
At one point it'd say, can you try to look a little happy?
To be at summer camp.
And you're in Kevin's shot, by the way.
Yeah. And then with that, my acting career came to an end.
Yeah.
Imagine, though, like, you're a preteen and you get to be in a movie with the guys you have, like, the biggest crush on.
And the director gives you the ugliest hat to live the entire.
You know what?
This is where my delusion comes in because I'd be like, well, obviously, I'm going to stand out.
They'll be able to see me from a mile away with this hat.
I did.
We recently watched it and played a drinking game.
Every time we see Kylie, we were, like, wasted within 10 minutes.
We did it.
I didn't make it out.
So we, we have a fun story about this.
Please do.
We were doing a writing session and we were invited to a Halloween party.
I think like Shannon invited us.
Yeah, Shannon at a bridge.
And we were like, let's dress up as the camp rockers.
That's so funny.
Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.
And I think, Eliza, you were like, I'm out.
I said I'm out.
I said I'm out.
I'm going to take one for the team.
It's fair because the night went all right.
They're like perfect because we want to be the Jonas Felon.
They're like, Frankie is not making it out to me.
Literally, I was Kevin and everyone kept asking me if I was Tegan and Sarah.
They're like, no, the Veronica's?
Okay, never mind.
By the end of the night, you guys got so hammered that Kevin was like on the side of like,
you were on the side of the road.
I passed out in the middle of the road and Jordan had to find a man to come carry me into a house.
Had to carry Kevin Jonas into the house.
Yeah, like without the wig.
But Kylie got so wasted
that she didn't even make it out.
And she was Nick.
So it was Kevin and Joe.
Who's doing a redhead?
She didn't go.
She didn't go.
She didn't go.
Everyone was like, who are you?
Well, have you seen Camp Rock?
We were just too much.
Kevin and Joe.
Our Nick got drunk, okay?
Nick's not here.
Our Nick got drunk in order to talk about the wrong house.
She had a microphone.
I threw up all over it.
And that's what the Jonas Brothers would do.
Yeah.
That would be quite awesome.
Have you all met the Jonas Brothers?
Yes.
Yes.
How was it?
It was true.
It was true.
Yeah.
They, they, we met them a couple times.
I think like the first time we properly met was they were doing a show in Vancouver and they had like a, like a middle section of the set and they would bring special guests to perform.
They're still doing that.
I think they are.
And we played our song.
And they like, they liked Blaine Brett, so we got to play it for them, which was sick.
Yeah.
It was really, really cool.
I have met them too.
I wrote fanfic about them when I was like.
child. Is it
online? Like, is it that? No, I literally
hand wrote it like a colonial woman.
Yeah, I wrote, I was going
to town on that thing. That's amazing.
I need to see it. I want to see it. Have you told them?
No, I have it, but I, it's funny because
when they did their Broadway stint
in New York and did like five nights, five albums,
whatever. Yeah, yeah. I was like, I
have to go to night one and two, obviously.
So like, I worked
with Sea Geek to go and watch them.
Cool. And my deliverable for them,
like my TikTok for them, I put in
video that my sister and I made with my best friend at the time. And it was like a submission video
to win concert tickets and mean greet for the Jonas Brothers. And like my sister and I were like,
okay, we have a whole plan like this. And we filmed it like on a shitty little laptop. Like it's
grainy and awful. And we filmed this whole thing for like an hour. And then I showed it to my mom.
And my mom was like, this is not going to help you in. We have to leave us. And then she like rewrote
the whole thing. We did like a skit and then put music in there and all that. Worked pain.
instakingly on that thing.
Blood sweat and tears.
Yeah, submitted it.
And then we found out that my sister doesn't know anything.
So like it's a tri-state area only.
And we live in California.
So like we did all of that work for fucking nothing.
We submitted it and I was like, you idiot.
To my sister.
I wonder if they still saw it though.
Well, the reason why is because when I did my C-Geek video for them,
I put that video in my C-Geek video, like just basically showing what I did and then what I'm doing now, watching them.
and then their team saw that video and then asked me,
do you want to come watch them in L.A.?
Like, and make content with them.
And I was like, yes.
Actually, I would love to do that.
Actually, the video did help you in the long run.
Yeah, in the long run, Jason was like, I knew the whole time.
There you go.
But they're nice.
They're teeny tiny, but they're nice.
Oh, yeah.
They're itty, bitty, bitty small.
I was with Joe last week.
So, I know.
She was yapping with Joe.
Y'all were yapping together.
He's funny.
He's nice.
Kevin was very, he was like the most talking of Nick didn't really talk at all when I met them
but like Kevin was like, it's very older brother.
Yeah.
Like he's, you know, he greets everyone.
He like directs all of it.
Very nice.
Well, I was really excited.
I'm afraid of fruit like the food group.
Oh, like the food group.
Yeah.
Really great.
And fruit.
Really crazy jump.
No, well, I just found out Kevin Jonas has the same phobia.
Of fruit?
Yeah.
Is it just like the sight of it or?
Kind of.
the worst is like Clementine season in Toronto. I call it Clementine season. Okay.
Have you heard of it clementine season in Toronto specifically? It's also known as the winter.
Right. I can call it winter too. Somebody noticed December to February. Is it just like seeing too many in one space?
I just like like it's the peels. It's the peels. The peels mixed into the dirty Toronto snow. It's like a minefield for me.
She doesn't go out. We're not a lonely. The one is clemcies. She is inside. Did you see how many Clementines were
outside my house. I can't leave. It's a minefield out there. I didn't you ever knew one time you
pissed all of us off so we took a peel and we rubbed it on your base strings, probably like a decade
ago. This'll get her. She hates the peals, no, for real. She's not going to be able to stop
thinking about that now. That's going to get a bit. We're getting a chill down her smile.
I thought about that. Literally can't talk to you ever again. Can you leave? A general feeling of
sight of free.
You know why?
I think you're sharing your base and you reach in your hands.
No.
Oh.
So there's something worse on there than Clementine's.
And then touch your base.
He's like, can you knock?
I have to use that.
This is such like sister fight.
How could you share this right?
You're, you it you.
Okay, when you hit your crotch and touch your base strings, that's okay.
But when I rub a Clementine on there all of a sudden.
That's insane
Okay
And that was to award them from touching your base
Maybe
I don't know
I don't know
You're like I'm disgusting
Yeah I was like if you're going to touch the ace
Was the thing I hate the most vagina
I wasn't gay yet
I hate those
You were personally you felt personally
You heard of it
I'm gonna touch it when your least favorite
than Clementown.
Yeah, let's go crotch for Clementine.
I see your crotch. I match you at Clementine.
That's a very strange phobia.
I never heard of that.
No.
His grandfather.
My grandfather grew up during the Depression and he didn't ever want to waste food.
I love it's always my grandfather.
Our grandfather.
So Kylie doesn't exist.
Sorry.
Our grandfather grew up during the Depression, didn't want to waste food.
So he would put, like, spoiled fruit in our porridge as children to, like, so that I got eaten.
And I just remember eating a rotten grape and being like, I'm good.
I don't remember this.
We grew up in the same house, so.
Eat the same porridge.
But yet, I'm unfazed by it.
I don't know.
I thought I would get over it because I've gotten over, like, all.
I was picky eater as a kid.
And I got through, like, I got over everything else.
But for some reason.
Something about fruit.
Yeah.
I feel that.
I have, like, what I think is called megalophobia.
What's that?
Oh, yes.
It's just a fear of, like, really large things,
but, like, things that are not meant to be that big, I guess, naturally.
But I say that, but whales.
Yeah, essentially.
Like, it's really, like, whales or meant.
I was going to say, like, it's usually ocean things.
Yeah.
Yeah.
From the most part.
But even, like, those blue avatars, like, yeah, you need to get away from me.
Like, I love those movies, but, like, when I see them in, like, Walt Disney World or
or whatever the fuck.
Yeah.
And they're in those little tubes.
Yeah.
That's too much.
It makes my butt hurt, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, very like, makes you clench.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, I remember when they had first put Star Wars in Disneyland.
Yeah.
I was like, we were walking around once.
This was like my early 20s.
And we were like just kind of casually walking around and Chewbacca was there.
I had a full-blown panic attack.
He's a big guy.
Yeah.
And my mom was like, let's go take a pick.
And I was like, you don't understand.
Like, I'm, if that thing looks at me, I'm going to have to do something.
And then I'm going to get.
banned from Disneyland for the rest of my life.
Something about that gives me fear.
Chibaka won't make it past it.
Trust me when I say he's not gonna make it.
He's not making it home.
So I get it.
The rest of you have any weird phobias?
I really don't like cotton balls.
Like that's a big one for me.
Like the texture?
The way that they feel like if there's like an Advil
bottle or a cotton ball inside
like I can't get it out.
So Halloween's also kind of a nightmare
for me because all like the...
It's not even like spider webs.
It's just like the cotton.
Like the cotton
It's hard for me
That's why Nick got too drunk
And didn't make it to the Halloween party
Really that's what happened
There was just too many
Cotton spider webs
That's my main thing
You guys don't like bugs
Just yeah
Not anything like weird
You know what I mean
Yeah
Not like those two
But like ours are more
But now we just like started befriending bugs
Like she used to be terrified now
She's like
I'm terrified but I don't want to kill them
Yeah
Oh that's nice
That's kind of like
It's very sweet
Yeah, but like, I picked it.
You said this place was steps from the water.
We just haven't found the steps yet.
How much did we save?
Enough.
Enough to get lost.
Or you could book a stay with Hilton.
Welcome to your ocean front room.
Just steps from the water.
The Hilton sale is on now.
Book on Hilton.com or the Hilton app
and save up to 20% to get the stay you expected.
When you want savings, not surprises.
It matters where you stay. Hilton for the stay.
Oh, you kissed it.
But I was blackout.
I was black out.
Okay, well, that makes more sense.
I said, you lost me there.
Didn't you throw it into the...
Airworn.
Yeah.
They could use a few roaches.
They need it.
Drive the price down a little bit.
You got to infest it so that it's cheaper.
We went for the first time and it's just like,
it's such a trip being like from Canada.
We don't really have anything like that.
Oh, yeah.
You guys don't spend $30.
on one press juice.
Actually, it's 45 Canadian.
The conversion is crazy.
That's so true.
Oh my God.
But it was a trip going in there for the first time.
I loved it.
Could have spent hours in there, actually.
I honestly, when I go in the air one, I see at least two famous people, and that's not a joke.
Wow.
I see them all.
Who had like seen an air one before?
I saw, we saw Hannah Eindinder in there once.
Ooh.
He's not for good.
Yeah, we saw her walk around.
She was looking at soups.
Damn.
Yeah.
I saw Max Greenfield.
buying a rotisserie chicken there.
Oh, nice.
He gives a rotisserie chicken guy.
It was pretty cool.
Especially from Airwant, I bet.
Yeah.
Like $60.
For real.
So you guys are from Canada.
I actually went to Canada for the first time this year.
But I went to Vancouver.
Oh, damn.
That's a good place to go.
I did a show there.
I was like, it was so nice.
What did you think?
Yeah.
I loved it.
I think, I will say this would love Canada.
All of you are terrible fucking drivers.
I don't know what's going on up there.
No, not true.
Wait, Americans are terrible drivers.
Stop lights and red lights and all of that light suggestion.
Like, the way they drive feels like I'm in Mario Kart.
Like, it's very like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, every Uber I took, I was like, I'd rather walk.
Like, this is terrible.
But also, you're the fastest walkers in the history of time.
Yeah.
That too.
That is true.
We do like to walk.
The Toronto walk is like you can spot it from a mile away.
Like, you're the fastest person.
Yeah, and like with purpose and you look real casual, but you are running.
Like, you're two steps.
from a sprint at that point.
And like my agent Alex, who I introduced to you guys at Coachella, she's Canadian.
So she's from, she's from Vancouver.
But she is the fastest walker in the history of time.
And we've joked about it for years.
Like even when we went to Paris together at one point, I was like, you know what?
If God wants me to find you, I will find you.
Like I was like, I can't keep up, bitch.
I am tired and it's hot.
Like she was just, oh my God, I would turn around and I'd see her back 40 yards away.
I'm like, how did you get over there?
Like, she's so small.
She walks so fucking fast.
I do want to say that I think the guy who wins gold in, like,
speedwalking or whatever in the Olympics, every year is a Canadian.
Like, someone's to check that out.
I think that's real.
I think that's a Toronto, too.
Like, I think he's a Torontoian.
And he's, like, wearing a suit in the race with a blue face.
I believe it, honestly.
It's not going to.
It smells so beautiful up there.
Streets are so clean.
Everything was so wonderful.
Did you hear a lot of stories and, like, of,
Canadian invention.
No, because we, sorry.
Sorry.
We say sorry.
We say sorry.
It's true.
I'm not even kidding.
I'm not even kidding.
I hold all the highest records.
Yes.
Okay.
Canadian hold highest records.
I'm so glad you look that up.
I'm going to tell my friend Alex.
She always gets like, I don't walk that fast.
I'm like, bitch, yes, you do.
You leave me in the dust.
She's like five three.
Yeah.
She's like five three.
I'm like, I have way longer legs in you and I can't keep up.
She should compete.
Yeah.
You should get her in the race in.
Girl.
And your guys is weed up there on lock, bitch.
It's good.
When we landed, I said, I need someone take me to a dispenser immediately.
I'm trying to see what they're on.
And they're like every, they're like a storebox.
They're every two steps.
It's like every seven, there's a 7-Eleven.
A weed store.
I think like mushrooms are legal in Vancouver now too.
Oh yeah.
Oh, that's right.
Because they told me that when I was up there.
And I remember I went into one and they had like this tube system that went on the top.
And they would like, you just order on an iPad and it would like shoot like the
fucking Jetsons. I said, damn, this is how y'all living up here?
If the weather was better, I'd entertain it.
Yeah. It is crazy.
How many, like, per block, how many, like, dispensaries are there in L.A.?
Because, like, in Toronto and in Vancouver, there's, like, three a block.
It's insane. Yeah, I would say far less than that. I would say at least one now that it's
been legalized for a while now, but, like, still, like, there, I'm, like, stones throw,
I'd find one. Yeah. Yeah. Which is fucking awesome. But y'all have some pretty good weed here, too,
in California. It's pretty good.
good. That's very true. I'm a fan. I had like a little, it's funny because I got a pen from a dispensary
up there in Vancouver. I still have it, but it looks like a little like bluey phone. Like they look
like little kid things. Like I don't know why they look so cartoony. And when I took two hits,
I said, holy fuck. There's straight gas in that thing, which I love. Huge fucking fan. So I want to
loop back to your guys' very successful, awesome career. Tell me more. Well, tell me more about the new
record first.
We're super proud of this record.
It's our gayest record.
Yeah.
And I look at you.
I love you.
Or in-house gay.
Yeah.
And yeah, we've been working on it for the past two years.
It's kind of like inspired by sex in the city.
It was.
Yes.
I really like how in that show you get the perspectives of four different women.
And there's always like a common theme that sort of threads all of their
relationship stories together.
Like it's BDSM or cheating or something else.
My favorite things, yeah.
Yeah.
That's pretty much it.
Yeah.
Other stuff too.
Or clothes, whatever.
And I like...
Cheating or clothes.
Cheating or clothes.
But I really like how the show sort of uses, like, the perspectives of four
different women to talk about, like, a specific theme.
And I wanted to do that with us and sort of do it with a record, you know?
Love.
sort of have this record be like our brunch table where we do our debriefs about all the crazy
shit we do.
I love that.
How do you guys like to put records together?
Do you guys like set aside time?
Do you like wait for inspiration to strike?
What's your guys' process look like?
It was tough.
Because Blame My Ex was such a surprise hit.
We kind of had to do a lot of catch up.
So we got to tour all over the place we went to Australia.
you're really really sick
but it meant that our
the time that we had to sort of follow it up
was like a lot smaller and at the end of that
record cycle I was like all I've been doing
is eating salads in different cities
like I have nothing right about
but you guys had so many
you you guys were kind of going through your own
I was eating my own salads
my own version of that
yeah
and like one day
one day I think Leansche was going through a break
and she's like, I haven't been able to masturbate since me in this person broke up.
And I was like, that is so true.
Like after my bad breakup, like I couldn't use my vibrator for like three months.
It was really, I was really devastated by it.
Every time you get it, you're like, God, just can't.
Yeah.
Because you can't because like you don't want to think about your ex in a sexual way.
And like, and sometimes when you're so heartbroken, that's like the only thing you can do.
And I'm like, that's so relatable and so funny.
And then we wrote Touch Myself.
Then we wrote Touch Myself based on that.
I had a dream.
I woke up.
I had a spicy dream about Jeremy, Alan White.
And I said, Jordan, I'm ready.
Bring her to me.
Or being the bullet.
Are you a big fan of the bear?
Big fan.
I love that show.
It's so good.
Right, it's so good.
It was so good.
I just recently watched it.
What are you guys watching?
I love asking people that.
Anything you're hypervictor?
I just started the summer I turned pretty.
You did?
I did start it.
Okay.
I have to say it's really...
And here's my...
Good luck to you.
Listen, I'm struggling through it, girl.
I'm trying my best, but it is hard.
It's a hard watch.
Yeah, it is.
It's so cringy and so corny.
And when I watch it, I'm like...
But I'm like, love it.
But I'm like, how...
Yeah.
I don't understand how it's like...
You're grinning.
You're like, okay, perfect.
Next episode.
Yeah, exactly.
I'm like, you know what?
I can live with it.
It's final.
It's just going to happen.
But everyone seems to be talking about it, so I had to give it a try.
Yeah, you got to jump on it.
I love hunting wives.
Oh, yeah.
So good.
Malian Ackerman Canadian, too.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Andy.
I also.
She was also at the Elton John party.
Oh, she was.
And that's what we got to talk about next.
Okay.
Hacks.
Me and Kylie always crush hacks.
I'm behind, I haven't finished it yet.
Okay.
I really like that show, adults or adults?
Yeah, adults.
I said it the Canadian way.
What's the American way?
Adults.
Adults?
Yeah.
Adults.
Oh, okay.
You're asking each other.
Asking another Canadian.
But I've been really liking that.
And I loved overcompensating.
T.
Love Benny.
I love Benny.
I love Benny.
I love Beny and Mary Beth.
Huge fans of them.
Yeah.
And Owen Teal love him too.
Yeah.
He's amazing.
And so funny.
And so fucking tall.
I don't know if you've ever met him.
He's like six three, six four.
I think I saw him at Coachella, but I don't know.
Oh, yeah.
I didn't, I did not say anything.
I was too shy.
Next time, if you're with me and we see him, I'll introduce you.
I got to hear what celebrities are tall.
Because I feel like when we're not.
Because we, I always feel like I'm the giant in the room.
Oh, yeah, girl, you're telling me.
I know.
Every room I'm in, I feel like that scene in Alice in Wonderland when she drinks that shit
and then she gets enormous and her arms pop out the house.
Like, that's me in every fucking room.
Yeah.
Well, musicians are like all really tiny.
Yeah, they are.
They are.
They are.
They are big heads, though, I think.
they are. Yeah, actors are too.
They have big heads though. Big heads.
And they're big on perspective for actors.
Which is why I feel like I can smell height like a drug dog, especially on men.
So like if I see a picture of a man, I can guess almost to the inch how tall he is.
Oh, yeah, it's like a special skill of mine.
That's a special talent. And that's your talent.
It's an important talent. I love it.
I was like, I'm trying to think of like the rock is tall, obviously.
Yeah.
To me that like standing next time, he looks normal size when he's next to me.
And it's because I think he's like six four and I'm six feet.
So it's like he's obviously significantly taller than me,
but it's not as like crazy as when he's staying next to like a Kevin Hart,
like who's this big.
Yeah.
Chris Evans was shockingly tall.
I thought he would be like maybe six feet, like six two, six three.
Okay.
Shocked.
Wow.
I was shocked.
I'll admit,
I love you though, Chris.
I know you're a huge fan of a shock.
Chris, if you're watching.
Chris,
if you ever see this.
I would say most,
most people are like itty,
bitty, bitty. It's been very rare that I meet someone. I'm like, damn, you're fucking tall.
Yeah. And unless it's, of course, like, have you ever met Alonamar?
No. Her and her sisters, her sisters are tall as fuck. They're both, they both have like two,
three inches on me. Oh my God. Really? Yeah, all three, like, alone is the shortest.
I thought rugby players were, like, smaller.
Yeah. Well, alone is actually the shortest. Like, her other two sisters are way taller than her.
Oh, damn. I'm a big fan of hers. Yeah. Oh, I know who you're talking about. Love her.
Yeah, yeah. She's the best. Yeah. I'm like the list of tall. I'm like the list of
tall people in general I've met in this industry is a lot shorter than the short people.
I think the smallest person I've met in this industry was Marin Morris, I think.
Yeah.
Like she sat in this chair and I say like her feet were straight like this.
Like an American girl doll.
Like she was sitting in a little like, I was like, girl, you got to scoot forward.
You're making me look enormous.
It looks like I'm talking to Annabelle.
Sit forward, girl.
I love her.
I love her.
She said she would sing in my wedding,
and I'm holding her to that.
Yes.
Absolutely.
Not Annabelle.
But the Elton John party, let's talk about it.
We both, all of us, all five of us went to the-
No, me and I was right there.
Yeah.
I got the invite.
She got the plus one.
They wanted cool, queer people.
Let me bring my straight best.
Me and Jordan were like, all right, see ya, have fun.
Okay, fine.
Okay, we went to the Elton John party after the Oscars.
How was y'all's experience?
Yeah.
Did you see me and Chrisel on the dance?
dancing on the table.
The people were not upset.
Michelle from Selling Sonson?
Yeah.
Okay, yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know who like owned those tables.
I feel like you had to pay extra to get a table.
Yeah.
We were not stuck that we just climbed up.
They got up on the table and started dancing to Pink Pony Club.
And me, sorry, me and Chris Appleton had to get them down off the table.
And I was like, what is happening right now?
Like, this is not our lives.
Yeah, like, I just, I can't understand it.
But we just like, we got super.
drunk, obviously.
Yeah, obviously. So did we.
The shots were just, like, flowing.
And, like, they had, like, people, like,
bringing around, like, little things of, like, wine and stuff.
And we didn't really know anybody there.
Yeah.
So we just decided to, like, basically drink.
What's crazy is they separated all the gays.
Like, they stopped them at all different tables.
Like, Moona, they told me they were sitting next to MGK.
Oh.
And Lucy Dakis.
So I was like, hey, why?
Like, next to Lucy makes sense.
Next to MGK, why's that?
Yeah.
I did see MGK there.
Like, this is.
Pepsi prebiotic cola in original and cherry vanilla.
That Pepsi taste you love with no artificial sweeteners and three grams of prebiotic fiber.
Pepsi prebiotic cola.
Unbelievably Pepsi.
Yeah, walking around with cord headphones in.
Yeah, I was kind of obsessed.
So this is some craziest thing that has happened.
And there was also like that outdoor area.
Yes.
Yeah, with the tent and everything.
We got lost a couple of times, like just couldn't.
like figure out where to go.
Yeah, and like I was saying, people thought I worked there.
They thought I installed the mirror in the bathroom, which is crazy.
They thought I was clocked in.
That your work?
I've never seen a lesbian in a suit.
Clearly you have to work here.
Drill this in?
Good work.
Is this you're doing?
But we did have a really fun time.
Yeah, we had a blast too.
Also, I felt like the crowd was a little like, they were not hype enough for me during
chapel. No, no. See what happens? We put too many straight people in there. I know.
Yeah, absolutely. It's never good. No, no. That's why you had to get on the table.
We're like a, where's everybody really drunk or were most people like kind of keeping it chill?
I don't know. Is that like we were most of the people I saw were pretty drunk. Yeah.
To be honest. Like, yeah, like most of the people I saw were pretty drunk. And there were some really
fucking famous people at that party. And I was, and watching them move in the wild is so shocking to me.
Did they like hover, like float? Yeah, they just like they're, it just. It just, like, it just
them like kind of keying and it's one of those parties where like because most of the other
parties I've been to for work stuff if I see super super famous people like that they're real like
buttoned up you know what I mean like they're like let loose though yeah and they know people are
watching them and photographing them and videoing them yeah that party it's like hairs down
yeah I was like I got fucked up at that party yeah I was passing my weed pen around like free candy
I said I'll wake up with herbie smile sure you guys want sure let's let's do it I was like I was laughing
so hard too because when I ran into Dylan Mulvaney
there who I love. I took a photo
for her. I love my sister.
Love her. She's the best. But I was
like, we were hanging out with her and then
she was like, I wish I had weed. I said,
I got weed. You want to? And she
shared mine and then
the girl she had introduced me to, she was like, oh
I was like, do you want some too? She's like,
yeah, I have one too and we were laughing.
And then I found out that's a Reese Withersman's daughter.
Ava, Philippe.
What I said? Why am I smoking
weed with you? Don't tell your mom.
Don't tell your mom that I gave that to you.
I didn't know.
She's of age.
She's older.
You just don't want Reese to know.
Yeah.
I want her to like me.
Yeah.
That party was so kooky that when I got back to my hotel, I was like, fucked up,
fell asleep.
I don't drink like that anymore because I'm old.
And so when I woke up the next morning, I was like, water.
Right?
I was like, I need water so bad.
Ran to the fridge.
Chugged water.
I was like,
glugging it down.
As soon as I pulled it away from my lips,
almost shit my pants.
if you can believe it
I was like
I literally
I had to run
like cupping my butt
like a little kid
I literally
I went I was on that toilet
I said what the fuck
I was sitting there
and then I
it's so bad I had to shower after
I literally shower
then I go put on the hotel robe
I go to my sister's room
because she had a room
inside our room
and I was like knocking the door
I was like dude
are you fucking hung over
and she was like yeah
and I go I almost shit myself
and I'm like standing over her bed
I was like can you believe
I almost pooped my fucking
I'm like literally talking here and she goes get out like I was like it's dark in here
Trinnell like can you believe I was pooped my pants just now that's crazy I'm like
to her she's like get out all right my fucking bad that was kind of the mud the well because we
got back you took your shoes off we ordered like a hundred and fifty dollars worth
of Taco Bell like yeah yeah we were we were on one yeah I had cold lobster pizza
when I got back that's a choice and now I'm like why did I almost
shit myself, that's probably why.
Makes sense.
What is lobster pizza?
What is that?
It's like a, it's, I don't, it's from somewhere here famous.
It's like a famous pizza.
Isn't it like the Wolfgang Puck pizza?
I actually don't know.
Okay.
Because my cousin and my man were staying in the room too and they, they ordered it.
Like they were having like, Girls Night in.
And they ordered that pizza because they really wanted to try it.
And I was like, by the time we got back, it was fucking ice cold.
Yeah.
And they didn't have a microwave.
So I was like, fuck it.
I'm just going to eat it.
And I was housed like three huge slices and then I wondered why I almost poop my pants.
Right, right, right.
It's a little shocking.
We've all been there.
Why would that happen?
We've all been there.
Honestly, like my worst, another fear of mine to jump back is like, what happens if you get food poisoning while you're performing?
Like, yeah.
Just puke in the butt.
Yeah.
But I'm talking more about pooping when it comes out the other end.
Yeah.
Like.
You shit yourself.
Yeah.
But I think that's my biggest fear, truly.
You had to be yourself on stage.
I didn't ship myself on stage though.
Before I went on stage.
It's like we hadn't met the band we were opening for yet.
We weren't close with them.
And it was one communal bathroom with the men stall by stall.
He was taking a shower.
He later told my parents at dinner.
He was taking a shower and your daughter had food poisoning in the stall next to me.
Okay.
HIPAA?
Okay, violate my HIPAA rights.
That's a one commune.
bathroom, that sucks.
It's tough.
And then when you come out, you're like, whoever was just in there,
it didn't think crazy.
I don't know why.
You become very close, very fast.
One time I hosted this thing for Moana too, which I loved.
It was very fun.
But when I was hosting it, like the day I hosted it was at nighttime and I was like
exhausted by the time because I worked all day.
And then I had to like get on stage and be funny.
So obviously I bring my weed pen with me everywhere.
So I was like, I'm going to hit this blinker till my eyes crossed.
Like fuck it.
So I was smoking on that hoe in the fucking dressing room.
I'm like, ah.
And then I had to go to the restroom, but there was like Polynesian dancers.
So they were sharing a room right next to us.
So obviously I'm only smoking in my own room.
And then my mom was like, oh, let's go to the bathroom and then go upstairs.
I'm like, okay.
But it's like two singular stalls.
And they're like, everyone's sharing them.
So we go in there.
I'm hitting my pen.
But when I hit it before I went in there, I walked past him.
I didn't want to blow it in anyone's face.
So then I swallowed it.
And then I go in the bathroom.
I'm like, yeah, no, I'm going to go in this one.
I go in the bathroom.
And I'm like,
lighten it up there.
I'm coughing like my lungs depend on it.
I was literally like,
like, and then I come out my eyes, bloodshot red,
and I'm like, I walk outside and my mom goes,
are you okay?
And then I go, what do you mean?
And she goes, you were coughing so loud.
And I go, you can hear me?
It's not soundproof.
Because the wall looked like that wall.
It was like wooden.
Yeah, my gosh.
That's why on tour,
especially if there's like only two bathrooms
I'll go, I'll up for the porta potty.
But you gotta tell us for you.
You gotta light it up.
I. One time.
So we were, I think it was last year.
Yes.
Last year we were on tour with Girl and Red.
Amazing.
Love.
And there's like so many people on her crew
and we had like two shared bathrooms
and I really had to go.
You know?
So I was like, I walked a little bit outside of the venue
and found like a random porta potty.
You're smart.
I would do the same thing.
So she didn't ask, we had our own raft,
and she just assumed.
I just assumed.
I was like, I kind of got to go,
and I don't want it to be known that, like,
I got to go.
I thought I got to go.
So I just like, do, do, do, do, do, do go out there
until, like, the wilderness and find this for the body.
And whatever, I'm doing my business on my phone, as you are, you know,
flipping through the reels.
And I kind of hear, like, a weird, like, a click.
A click.
And I'm like, oh, someone's in here.
just like someone's here
and then nobody says anything
so whatever I finish my business
and I stand up and I have been locked inside the port of potty
someone closed a padlocked
with your own stink
somebody she's on like a construction zone
she's stuck in this port of potty
somebody padlocked me in
you're the person who's been pooping in here aren't you
nobody's answering my phone I'm like fuck
what happens if
Somebody loads this porta body under the bag of a truck.
Black-ass-style.
Sufficking under your own shit.
Just like somehow in the middle, like, in the middle, they find me, like.
Days later, in another state.
She called Meg, our photographer.
But first Meg took a photo of her through the crack,
through the padlock, sent it to all of us.
Before letting her out.
With her little eye, she's, like, crying, kind of like a little eye looking through.
Just little eye in the swim.
like starting to get claustrophobic
where Spheres were having a cake.
It's all fun in games until I'm actually locked
in there. Yeah. So
she had to go get the man with the key.
Yeah, so somebody had to come.
I'm like, sorry, I was trying to be discreet.
Like, sorry. I actually became
I literally just peed in there. I don't know what happened.
I literally just came in here. You actually just caused
such a scene. Just trying to not cause a scene.
It would have been less dramatic
to just poop in the commuter. I know.
Yeah.
No, right has to go on cinch.
Be like, the beaches can't perform because the lead singer actually
died to get a shit. She actually got locked in a porterponite and drowned in her own shit. Can you believe it?
That's fucking crazy. Well, these are all really fun facts, but I do have some fun facts.
Okay, cool. Okay. I have a beat, first of all, Beach is fun fact. It says the Beach's Man covered the song Ultimate on the Freakier Friday movie soundtrack.
We did. Yeah, so tell me about Freakier Friday. How was that? Obviously, you guys said a drink come true. Very.
It was really sick. I mean, we were, we were little when the first movie came out and we played the shit.
out of it. And Ultimate was like one of me and my sister's favorite songs growing up. We used to
sing it with our Barbies. So one of the songs he learned to harmonize with. And we were in a Disney
band. Like our first project was a kind of Canadian Disney project. So it kind of felt, well, sorry,
I have a lot of spit my mother. You're fine. Empty out girl. Yeah. Um, so it's, oh, I spilt.
It's okay. It's okay. You're fine. It's nervous. Take it again. Take it again.
She's telling that porta-potty story really really got me shook up.
No, it was a really cool full-circle moment.
And it's an awesome franchise about female relationships.
Pink Slip Rocks.
So it was really sick.
Yeah.
And Jamie Lee's been like posting about the song, which is so sick.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I love that.
I love it.
How fun.
Is it cool seeing your song in a movie?
They haven't seen it yet.
I haven't seen the movie.
Only that.
I know.
I did.
No, it's awesome.
I haven't watched it yet.
We were in Europe doing tours, and I was going to maybe go in Naples, but then I couldn't
find an English version.
I said, well, obviously, I got to watch my version.
I got off the flight, went to the movie with my family, fell asleep.
Promptly fell asleep.
And my sister just, like, punched me at the end to show me the song.
So you haven't seen it either.
You said perfect.
I said most of it.
All I needed to see was you're a song.
Yeah.
That's all you needed.
Okay, so Jordan, this is a fun fact about you.
Oh, no.
It says, you used to go.
LARPing in the park in her hometown when she was growing up.
How did you find this?
Where are you getting this?
My sources.
I'm impressed.
Yeah.
It's my lesbian producer.
Yeah.
Well, I need to say that.
Makes a lot of sense.
Those are my hidden mickeys when I say my lesbian crew.
I love D&D and they love LARPing.
I haven't done it in a long time.
But yeah, I used to like have a full like bow and arrow set.
I was a maid.
like,
yeah.
It's really sick.
Nerd alert.
Nerd alert.
I mean.
I love that.
It's pretty cool.
Yeah, you know what?
I credit a lot of my
songwriting abilities to being
like able to be so
creative as a kid, you know?
It was super fun.
I definitely would love to do it again
if anybody needs
an extra large for their campaign.
A maid.
A mage is like a
learning something.
A mage is like a wizardy half elf.
Okay.
Creature.
Okay.
Sure.
Learns to like a lot of fantasy stuff.
I did.
Yeah.
I like Lord of the Rings too growing up.
See?
I really liked Petra Collins' photography exhibition that she did where she had like strippers dressed as elves.
That was really sick.
Sure.
I learned a lot about you.
Scratched a lot of itches for me.
Yeah, you being in Aries is making more.
Is it?
That's right.
That's crazy.
LARPing is great. That's another level of
LARPING. Have you ever seen the lightning bolt video?
It's a trust of imagine.
What are you talking about?
And what are you talking about?
Okay.
I know bolts.
No, it's a...
I also know bolts.
It's a really...
Check it out after we finished.
No, he's larping and he's throwing lightning bolt.
But it's just these random dudes in the forest.
And this one guy's like,
Lightning bolt.
Lightning bolt.
And you said, I need to get there.
Wherever they're at, I need to go.
Can I play with you?
May I join?
May I join?
I love that you love that.
I love that about you.
Okay, Eliza.
Oh, goodness.
It says you used to be a big Pokemon card collector.
Oh, my God, you've done your word.
Right.
I don't know.
No, my God, this is like deep lore.
No, I like, basically like halfway from the walk from home to school,

This little like shop where I used to go spend my allowance money on Pokemon cards.
Wow.
I didn't know that.
You didn't know that about me?
Do you still have them?
I don't know.
They're probably really expensive.
So two dorks confirmed, we'll go down the line.
We came together.
I think three out of four of us, I think Kylie's safe.
Kylie is the furthest thing from a nerd actually.
Kyle's not nerdy.
No, Kylie doesn't like, Kylie doesn't really like games.
Like Kylie hates games.
She hates, like, a board game.
She hates video games.
She's like, that's kid stuff.
She's like,
that thing's Kelly loves.
Her vape.
Yeah.
Love.
Right.
And that's about it.
It ends there.
Her vape.
And yeah, that's pretty much.
Yeah.
And that's her.
My passion is vape.
Vap.
Charlie X-EX.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Who's your favorite Pokemon?
Oh my God.
Oh, my God.
Back in the day, it was probably Charzard.
Okay.
You know, he's a king.
Yeah, love that.
But no, I probably have those still, like, buried away somewhere, like, some, like, attic of, like, my old house or something.
You guys didn't know about me?
No, I didn't.
I know.
Did you get into, like, the mobile game when it was really good?
No, no, no.
I literally just collected the cards and I, like, wanted, like, you know, the, like, most rarest one or whatever.
And I probably still have them.
Spent, like, all my allowance on that growing up, you know?
I love that.
One of my first...
Nistolic toys are, like, a nice purchase.
Like, one of my most expensive purchases, actually, you bought this for me.
You bought me a Furby for my birthday one year.
Yeah, I was really pissed off.
to do that.
I really
those things freak me out.
No,
I wanted one.
She had one when we were kids
and we shared a room
and it would go off
and I like,
I hated that thing.
And it speaks
Dutch, not English.
Yeah.
And why is that?
I couldn't find one
that was English.
So sorry,
you're gonna have to learn Dutch.
Only Swedish Furbys
available to you all.
Okay, this one's for
Kylie and Jordan.
It says Kylie and Jordan
once had to buy a ghost
a drink at a bar called Captain Jack in their hometown.
Oh my God, this is so true.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Why is that?
We just went there for your birthday again.
I know, we did go there for my birthday.
It's like one of the scariest bars that you'll ever go to in your life.
It's like, there's like patrons with zero teeth.
It's like that vibe.
It's a pirate alcoholic, like, just like really some crazy stuff happens there.
But beers are $3.
Yeah.
Right.
And Canadian.
So, like, so.
I'm a bee there.
50 cents.
It's pretty fun.
Yeah.
But it was like rammed.
It was during some like special thing that was going on.
No, it was Canada today.
So we were just, we were watching fireworks at the beach.
And we decided to go for a beer.
Yeah.
But all the tables were taken.
And so there was one table that was open.
But the person behind the bar, the pirate said, if you want to have this drink, like you
have anyone to sit there, you have to buy this guy who just passed away.
This is his table.
You need to buy him a shot.
A shot.
And I think he.
He had, I got the vibe that he had died from liver failure.
Right.
It was kind of giving that.
They had like a photo of him, a candle on the table.
It was his table.
So we did buy a shot.
Yeah, I don't think he had recently passed away too.
I think like this establishment, like, this had been a year ago.
Yeah.
Maybe he didn't even exist and they're just trying to make more money.
Yeah.
And they're like, let me go get him.
Yeah.
He goes and puts glasses on.
Thank you.
Yeah.
No, we did.
We took the shot before we left.
Yeah.
So it was kind of like, we stole the ghost shot.
they're like he's not going to drink it
yeah it was in the spirit
of buying it a waste of alcohol
never not us
okay this one's just for Kylie
Kylie was once catfished on a dating
app and while you were on the date
your phone glitch and it said you were in the middle
of the ocean so Leandra thought
you were lost at sea
that's a very long
specific where did you find that
that we only posted that on our Finstead
um
I went on an
absolutely horrifying hinge date.
Yeah, he ended up not looking anything like his photo.
Also, if he's watching this, I'm really sorry for exposing you in this way.
He should be sorry for being a catfish.
For being a catfish.
That is the price you pay to be a catfish.
It was very strange, like really uncomfortable, but he wanted to go on like a walk in like our
neighborhood, which is not technically an ocean, it's a lake.
Yeah.
But my phone did glitch.
We had each other's locations.
Well, you said, I'm not sure about this.
Can you just like check my location?
And I said, sure.
And then when I checked, your dot was so far in the middle of the other.
I was like, oh my God.
I was freaking out.
This is a documentary waiting to happen.
I mean, it definitely, it was, I.
It was so scary.
I never went on another hinge date again after that.
Was he just severely off-putting other than face?
I didn't, I just didn't like him at all.
He was like, I, it sounds so bad.
I mentioned something about an ex-boyfriend, and he was like,
can me please not talk about our ex-sis right now?
We're just getting to know each other.
I was like, I'm just mentioning something.
Shut the fuck up.
The dot is her throwing him off a boat in the middle of the lake.
No, dead ass.
He's like, well, I was busy in the middle of there.
He told me that he absolutely hated food.
Oh, bye.
Which is just like, I was like, this is just like not going to work for us.
I'm like, it was very.
You hate food?
How do you eat?
What do you do photosynthesis?
Just lay in the sun?
And ask for the leaves to give you the nutrients?
He's actually, he's a plant.
Yeah, no, dead ass, like, literally.
That's so, yeah.
It was like one of those off-putting dates.
Very off-putting.
And I've never actually texted someone.
He asked me to hang out again, and I didn't even just straight-up ghost him.
I texted him and said, I don't think that we should ever see him.
He said it was so bad that I said, I don't want to ever see you.
Yeah.
I needed to make it clear.
I don't ever want to see you again.
Damn.
Well, good friends.
Good friends check and make sure you're not in the middle of the lake.
Yeah.
Thanks, Lee.
This one's for Leandra.
In 2013, Leandra performed in a show called Fab Prov at a fringe festival.
And then it says improv show, question mark, question mark.
Do you tell your improv first?
I got the worst mark.
Because the only rule is yes and, and I was always saying no.
If I didn't want some girl in my scene, I said, literally, what are you doing here?
I literally know.
No.
The most Virgo.
to do in improv, just refused to go along with it.
You almost failed the class because he kept saying no.
Yeah, and like, I would go in with just an idea already in my head, so if someone changed
it, I would be like, uh, no, and change it back to mine.
Like, I get it, but.
Do you guys know Eric Sedeno from TikTok?
Rico Tequito?
If I showed you him, you probably know, but he's also over ago.
He's a good friend of mine.
He posted a video about doing improv, and he literally said, like, I was so excited.
I was like, oh, my God, I'm going to learn about banter.
I'm gonna learn how to riff.
And he's like,
and then they gave me a character
I didn't like.
And I like refused to do well.
Because I was like,
I don't like my character.
It's like the way you just refuse
to participate because it's not going the right way.
No, yeah.
It's not going the way I've planned in my head.
Yeah, exactly.
What I meticulously planned.
Yeah.
Wasn't there one girl that you, like, found annoying
and you would always find a way to kill her?
That's just giving bullying.
So you don't need to get in that.
No, you know what that's giving?
That's giving.
Have y'all watched The Office?
Oh, it's good.
Michael Scott when he does improv, he always has a gun.
And then they're like, what did he say?
Because he whispered and he goes, he told me that I have to put my hands up
because he can't show me, but he has a gun.
Exactly.
It's literally.
Not Leandro and improv.
Exactly.
Yeah.
And he performed at a fringe festival.
Well, it was at our school.
Because we went to an arts school.
Love.
Yeah, there were teachers in the audience.
I just came in hot.
Like, I remember one of my characters was like a talent agent in Hollywood who was
like smoking through the whole.
hole in her neck.
It was like,
oh, I'm a star.
And then my history teacher was like,
I actually can't look at you the same.
You're actually a little too far in.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And I'm scared.
It's getting Joker now.
Well, that's all our fun facts.
Everybody give it up for all our fun facts.
I've learned a lot about y'all.
Yeah.
I have.
Are you scared?
Yeah.
No, honestly, I'm even more intrigued than when we began.
I could have never guessed what your lives looked like.
I would have been wrong every guess.
The lop her in the throat smoke.
Pokemon card collector.
A hater of men on hinge.
Well, before we wrap here, I'd love to know, since y'all are so homegrown, I love that about y'all.
I love that y'all have been together, riding together for years.
It's fucking awesome.
And it's an honor to have y'all.
I'm so excited for the rest of the world to keep loving on y'all.
But before we go, do you all have any advice for any aspiring artists who may
maybe want to be in a band, be musicians, make it, if you will.
I would say do it with your friends.
We started this as friends and we're even closer now.
And I think that's been like our sort of our superpower,
especially being like women in the music industry.
It can be, like, especially, you know, solo female artists can be so,
it can be so isolating.
So we're just like lucky to have each other.
So yeah, I'd say do it with your friends.
And I know everyone says it, but practice is very important.
and you have to be,
you just have to like be a really, really, really good live unit, a live band.
Love.
Make it, yeah.
Higher women for your team.
Love that.
Higher women and queer people.
Yeah.
Right, period.
I said that too.
I said everybody that works for me and with me is gay.
Yeah.
For the most part.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
And then Chaparone said, I can tell.
Clock's my T shit.
And I just like think that you should kind of keep posting, keep trying at it.
Like, even if it doesn't happen right away,
still might happen for you. We've been doing this for like 10 years. 10 years and it took us this long
to kind of get. And for the love of the game. You all have been doing it for the love of the game too,
which is amazing. Yeah. And that's why I think that's why you all have done so well, like and sustained
because it's because it means something to you. It's not just to like get rich and famous.
It's because we like to have fun too, right? And it's the most fun job in the world. Like we get to go
to different cities together like with our best friends every single day and just like
have fun, get literally get paid to have fun on stage. Yeah. And it's the team.
job.
We're not that serious.
And they're not serious.
I've gathered.
I love that about y'all.
I hope that never changes about y'all.
We just want to have fun, you know.
Period.
That's the key, honestly.
Especially because this industry is so fucking hard.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Women and queer people in general.
Totally.
But thank you all so much for coming on the show.
I fucking love y'all.
Thank you so much.
I love you.
I'm obsessed with y'all.
