Johnny goes, oh, yeah, I've heard that before.
And I'm right next to him.
And I was like, hey, sorry, did you say, does he look like the Cana Kirkland guy?
And she was like, yeah.
And I was like, that is him.
And I was like, oh, yeah, yeah.
I was like, yeah, that is me.
Wait.
She was like, what the fuck?
And I was like, I didn't realize.
I said like, oh, yeah, I get that a lot now.
Hey, everyone.
And welcome back to another episode of the comments section show starring me, your favorite.
Everybody knows me.
Today, I'm a witch, period.
It's spooky season still.
And today we have many very, very special guests.
Today we have the one, the only, the iconic, the legendary, never ending fall.
Let's go.
How's everybody doing?
This is the most people I've ever had in the world.
Most people on this couch.
Let's go.
Okay.
Hey, hey, hey, spooky.
Uh-oh.
Very spooky.
Kind of like class.
We'll go around.
Everyone can say their name and what they do in the band.
We'll start with you, John.
Go ahead.
So my name is Johnny and I am the bass player of Neverending Fall.
I also do a little bit of background vocals.
Just a little.
My name is Jack.
I sing and I play guitar.
Very nice.
My name is Tommy and I play the drums.
Hello everybody.
My name is Conrad and I play guitar.
Love.
Sick.
Last but not least,
my name is Pierce and I'm also a guitar player in the band.
So many guitars.
Everyone give it up.
They are a band.
We are a band.
They are a band. They are a very successful band.
Oh, thank you.
Yes, I'm so happy to have you guys.
It's an honor.
It's so funny.
No, but last time we were here, we were on our buddy Don's podcast.
Who has also been on the show.
I know, shout out, Don.
Everybody knows that.
It's so cool.
I don't know if it's just like this network of people, but every time we just meet
someone that's like accompanied with this, like we just hit it off.
And it's just like, we just feel like great friends.
You know what I'm saying?
Look at us.
Bessie's just hanging out, doing our thing.
You could say I'm also in the band.
That's right.
One might say.
What do you play in the band if you had to choose an instrument?
I'm just vibes.
I'm just like next to y'all.
Literally. I get mad at anyone not cheering.
That's my job.
I could be like security.
There we go.
There you go.
I'm a vibe secure.
Like I make sure the vibes are good and everyone's having fun.
I'm with that.
Yeah, I'm with that.
By any means necessary.
They are also known for a very popular series on TikTok called Kenneth Kirkland.
Hello.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Y'all know them.
Now everyone who didn't know your music goes, oh.
No, it was so funny.
We were just on tour and there was multiple instances.
Shout out our buddy's quarters to change.
But there was multiple instances where we went on stage and people in the crowd were like,
wait, what?
You guys are the Ken of Kirkland guys too?
They had no idea.
It was so funny.
It was so funny.
Works out.
A jack-of-all-trades.
It really, you know, it does.
You all can do anything.
Okay.
So tell me a little bit about your guys to start.
How did you guys become a band?
How do y'all know each other?
What's the T?
Yeah, so the funny thing is we actually, me and Conrad, we met in fourth grade
and just started the band like all the way back that.
Oh, period.
Yeah, we decided.
2008, 25 now, so it's been a minute.
Talent show season came around.
We were like, man, like we should get a little group together.
And us and our buddy, Chris Montan, uh, formed the band all the way back then.
And then, um, we just kind of stuck together.
We were obviously in fourth grade.
So children kind of like Tommy's dad was kind of different.
Tommy's dad was like kind of our coach, so to speak.
And then he kind of held us together.
And then eventually probably we've been this formation, I would say, for about like nine years, give or take.
And then we kind of just grinded it out for like most of our childhood.
And then COVID happened.
We went to college.
And then we graduated college.
And then we're like, we're going to move.
Did you guys go to school?
So yeah, Talston University.
It's like a smaller.
school. Cool.
And then after that we were like,
we got to make like a big move because it was like COVID.
Like, you know, we've been in the house.
Like we got to something.
So then we were, yeah, we were in the same band.
We were doing it for like, you know, six years on repeat playing these bar gig
and stuff.
And then, oh, we decided, you know, we have to make the next step.
Yeah.
So then we moved to Los Angeles and we're like, oh, everybody's doing TikTok out here.
Like, TikTok is definitely a thing.
Yeah.
So like, let's make the.
like fun little series just for fun with the can of Kirkland and it just kind of like took off and then we're like oh we'll do it again we're not expecting it to take off we're like we're like it was funny I didn't think a single person was going to watch it I remember watching back at the video was like this is hilarious but this is like the dumbest thing we've ever done I was like who is watch this and apparently lots of people enjoy it then we did it again and then it was like oh this is work like this works and we did it again it was like okay
And then Victoria Paris
Who's also been on this show?
Let's go
Yeah, Victoria
Look at me
She was like the first person
I've been watching y'all forever
I just surrounded for years
All angles
But she was the first person
Like hit us up and was like
I don't know how it happened
I think she commented on our post
And then I think I de-ended her
I was like do you want to come on the show
Like somehow we're making it a show now
And she was like yeah
And then that kind of opened it up to guests.
And then we just kept doing it.
And then we've had so many people on at this point.
Now it just turned into like a show.
Now it's like the other thing you do.
Other than music?
Now we just like have them both.
And yeah.
Where did they pick up the last two of you?
Did you all meet in L.A.?
Or did you all meet here?
We kind of like all grew up near each other.
But like they have like preschool pictures together.
They've known each other.
So me, Conrad and Pierce, we have like preschool pictures together.
We've known each other.
We all went to preschool together, and we've just known each other for far too long.
Damn.
Okay.
We've hung out with each other for, like, our whole lives.
We really don't have that many friends.
Like, it's so funny.
Like, our managers, when we're on tour, our managers will be like, hey, do you guys have anybody for guest lists and stuff?
And we're like, no.
I have, like, one, two, two.
I think we're all here.
Yeah, I have, like, one friend.
I was like, no, I don't think anybody's coming out here.
To start writing our own names just to make you ourselves too.
You're right, like,
Johnny.
Johnny, Johnny H.
Yeah.
I'm expecting this.
I swear, it's all like,
it's not me.
It's not me.
That's really cool, though.
I think you guys have a longstanding history.
Then you must like each other then.
Yeah.
We get along super well,
which is nice,
because we all live with each other.
Yeah.
Which can be tricky,
but like,
for other groups,
but for us,
it works so well.
Like, I don't know.
I've been to their house.
It's nice.
It's nice.
And they had a bunch of candles lit.
It was very.
spooky much like this set I would like to say that our band is kind of similar to I watched an interview of the 1975 and they had talked about like how they have like a very special connection with only the members of their like they're all similar upbringing you know like they were all best friends grew up together yeah and they literally said they were like I have a connection with these like with my bandmates yeah and it's more of a connection that I've ever had with someone like ever before and it's kind of hard to like
put it into words because it's like, I don't know, like, we just get each other.
We're all just, yeah, it's just, yeah, it's just a eternal bond.
An eternal bond that is, uh, been around for a while.
It's hot, you know?
It's hot, it's hot, baby.
Guys are soulmates.
Platonic soulmates.
Platonic soulmates.
Living in this crazy world.
There you go.
So did you guys always want to be in music?
Did you guys always want to make music be a band?
Like, where were your guys as influences?
I would say, yeah, probably.
we just started so young
that it was kind of like
it was kind of like you know kids play sports
that was kind of like our thing
that was your sports
yeah we all did play sports too but we took it
way too seriously at a young age
I feel you
that it kind of just like kept going
and like sports did you guys play
I'm curious
me go ahead go ahead
I was so excited
yeah
like sports wise like
so like what he just said like
for me it was like playing sports
until like so I have
like sports asthma so I stopped playing sports
and then in like seventh grade that's when I meant
Tommy and then I was like I used
to play guitar at the time and like stop whatever
it meant Tommy and like saw the band
was like okay let's do it I feel like that's
like sort of kind of my origin story with the band
but sports wise I used to play
soccer lacrosse and basketball
soccer was like my like
yeah yeah we're on the same soccer team
yeah beat team soccer team
yeah
you're like
boom
you're like boo
But now we're all pro tennis players
Like we were talking about
Yeah, they were telling me you guys play tennis all the time
I suck at tennis
And I said it's a very extremely white activity
But I support you
Support you and I love when white people white
I love that for you
So we just
It too bad
Like it looks
I started doing
I started really channeling the inner white
I started doing the grunting thing
Where I like makes you play better
I just wanted to try it out
See what it was like you know
Yeah here I was like
I would, like, be up on a thing, a ball would be like,
and it would go, like, way over the fence and, yeah, it would just, yeah.
Too powerful, then.
Got to peel it back a little bit.
We can cut that out, too, by the way.
Got it to do it.
No, that's all right.
I'll magnify it.
Oh, God.
I'm scared.
I'll turn it up, yeah.
But, yeah, tennis is, yeah.
That's your new hobby.
Yeah.
Other.
It's just a thing.
It's a hyper-focus.
Or hyper-fixation.
There you know, high focus right now.
And also, we've been trying to drink less, to be honest with you.
be more active.
So at night, we're like, we could, like, do this for like an hour and, like, you know.
And that offsets the 32 seltzers you have when you're home.
Well, I get you.
Balance.
Life's about balance.
Right.
You have to.
Tennis is just like drinking almost.
If you really think about it.
Right.
You got to think deep, you know.
It's there.
But it's there.
It's there.
Did you all play soccer?
Did you all play different sports or no sports at all?
Yeah, I played soccer and lacrosse as well.
I played soccer.
Cross, football, baseball, all for like a year.
I'm not a big sport guy.
It's like, I all one and done, you know, oh, I try it out for a year.
I was like, I hate this.
Because you're pretty tall, so I imagine people would imagine you.
Football sucked.
I don't know why.
I just don't like hitting people, and I would just be mad all the time.
I don't like being manhandled.
And like, well, because I was just like the biggest kid on the field.
And so I was like, always in this on center or nose guard, which is like, I'm going,
that's the biggest dude.
And I was like, it just isn't fun.
I was like, I'm not going to go in the NFL.
I was like, why am I doing it?
You never know.
You never know.
You're still young and in your prime.
It's not too late.
Yeah, you could still do it.
You never know.
I actually played soccer.
That was my main sport.
Oh, nice.
Growing up.
Did you play for like multiple years or was it like a one and done thing?
No, I played for like over 10 years.
I almost went to school to play.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I played travel like soccer for a long time.
That's dope.
What was your position you like to play?
I was a center defender.
Center right to play.
Nice.
I got a few college scholarships, but I decided to go for school instead.
I couldn't name you a single position on a field for soccer.
Golly, yeah.
All you need to know is I'm just running a lot.
Words running.
90 minutes of running, touch the ball, maybe twice.
Makes sense.
I love that for us.
I was also the biggest soccer player they've ever seen in Ireland.
Really?
Yeah.
For a long time.
My mom had to carry my birth certificate.
What?
Because they'd be like this grown man is on the field with seven-year-old.
It's like, I am 12?
Yeah, literally.
And there's a 20 in there.
Yeah, for real.
That was me.
Growing up, that was what I had to do
because I was the biggest soccer player
they've ever seen in their life.
But now you guys are a band.
Happy ending.
Thankfully.
Not in sports, not in sports.
Thank God, huh?
It worked out.
It all worked out.
You know, I'm not favorite.
Have you guys seen a lot of, like,
success with kind of trying to couple
like social media with music
and, like,
promoting, you know, because obviously you're a band first, but everybody, some people might know
you for simply, like, just the Kannock-Kirkland stuff. Have you guys seen a lot of help? Has it helped
you kind of, like, maybe explore other things that you want to try? It's a weird thing. Like,
it's definitely strange going into social media and being, like, a band at the same time,
especially because they're so different the way that we do it. I think a lot of, like, groups, artists
will just do the music thing, and their social media's music as well. Yeah. While we have, like,
two separate lives that we live.
Yeah.
But I think they
like live in their
special place. Yeah.
For different things. Yeah. And it's definitely
brought in so many people to our music.
Like, especially the Cana Kirkland song.
Yeah. Like, um, which
was a good correlation because like, oh my God,
I love a song so much when we're like, yeah, because
we're bad. We make music. It's a funny thing.
We are a man. We made that song at 3 a.m.
You know, not in the right mindset, you know?
And it's like, you should hear the music. We spend like
years or months on, you know? Yeah. Yeah.
But Anna, I think, like, definitely blessed in the way that, like, that can of Kirkland happened because when we moved to LA, like, we didn't know what we were going to do.
We didn't know if this whole thing would work is, like, very scary.
And to, like, kind of touch down in Los Angeles.
And for two work definitely helped the music remarkably.
I mean, we went on tour.
We sold out, like, 20 shows, which was, like, we never did.
Absolutely insane.
Absolutely insane.
Yeah.
And it's, like, just smaller shows, but still, like, do even have one?
person come to our show and
like, you know. Sold out. It's sold out, babe.
Doesn't matter the size of the room. It's sold out.
It's sold out. Take the dub.
Yeah. Well, and it's just like, it's, because we were
so used for so many years
to playing to
the bartenders. Yeah. Or to the
sound guy in the room, you know, like, there
was no one in the crowd. Yeah. So it's like,
it's really refreshing to see, like, we never
you know, anticipated getting a huge, you know,
fan base, you know, a huge audience with this
kind of Kirkland series, but we were just like, let's just
have fun. We always
used to make skits together, like, you know, just like for fun.
We were like, let's just do what we always do and make like a little skit and
it just happened to be kind of Kirkland.
Thankfully, it's gotten us into the eyes of a lot of people that, you know, got to see
our personalities because like, yeah, absolutely.
I would say is like a big, not like flaw, but like a thing that a lot of bands kind
of like tend to stay away from is showing their personality.
Yeah.
It's like you have a fan base and it's like your fans kind of like, say for instance,
like you have like, you know, like say back in the day that all the boy bands growing
up in like the 2000s, you know, like everyone had their favorite member.
say like in sync or something like that.
Yeah.
Because they were very good at showing their personalities and stuff like that.
Same with One Direction.
Yeah.
Everyone had their favorite One Direction member and it was like because they showed their
personality so well.
And thankfully, you know, Ken Kirkland has been that for us.
You know, we got to show us like in a very effortless way, you know, like, hey, this is
us just being, you know, our normal friend group.
We just put a camera in front of it and, you know, decided to drink.
And they are really like that.
I can confirm.
They are really like that.
You guys are exactly.
Not really much different on-in-all-camera.
really not different at all.
That's what we like to say.
We're pretty much the same people on camera.
Also, I want to say they record everything themselves.
They have no help.
Like, they're just going to set up the tripod.
You can vibe with us.
Our Amazon light.
Our Amazon light, you know.
You guys do it all yourselves.
I think that's fucking awesome.
The light was just breaking.
They're like, it's okay.
He's just going to hold it.
And then he was just,
it's okay.
It's okay.
Don't worry.
Don't worry.
It's like.
All right, you're sure.
It's a great thing, though.
It's organic.
It's awesome. It's awesome being in a position to be able to do what we always dreamt of doing.
Yeah, we're just doing weird shit, honestly.
Yeah.
We have a series called John Salon's too, which is even weirder where Johnny cuts Conrad's hair.
And pretty much, yeah, just like, physically assaults him all day, you know?
The comments, smack in them.
I don't know of shooting the series.
Well, you'd do it for the bit.
Love that.
A team player.
I can't believe this is like, I just realized you guys are the cana Kirkland guys.
It's like, there you go.
It's just so weird that.
Yeah, it's.
It's a cool thing, man.
It's a cool thing, though.
I think that's a really refreshing take on it because I feel like, obviously, like, this show, too,
I've had lots of artists on, like, traditional music artists and everything.
But, like, I think sometimes the problem is they fight against social media because they're, like,
well, I don't want to be known as, like, a TikToker.
I want to be known.
I want my art to speak with.
Yeah, I want to be known as an artist, which is, like, it's just not the way of the world anymore.
Like, it's evolved greatly.
Now, you know, like, labels are forcing artists to get TikToks to promote me.
So the beautiful thing about you guys leaning into the skid is like, well, I mean, I'm funny too, but like I also love music. So like you you can love me for either. Yeah, exactly, exactly. A ticket sold is a ticket sold girl. Even if you thought it was going to be a can of Kirkland. Say it again. Literally. And they'll come and watch and they'll be like, oh my God, they're so good. They're a fucking bam. Yeah, that's awesome. And it's also fun. It's like fun to make. I don't know, I feel like we've been doing it first. Like we have videos from like when we were kids doing it. Yeah. We can just do this and make music. Like that's the love.
life.
Why not?
Well, no, like you said, you're known for your personalities, too.
Yeah, yeah.
It's not just music or...
And kind of piggybacking on what you said it earlier,
about the whole, like, the whole band's not leaning into, like, the social media thing.
It's like...
Especially with the way, like, a lot of these platforms work,
like, they can put you in front of so many eyes that you would...
For sure.
Never be able to, you know, be in front of.
And it's like...
It's kind of like, okay, like, there's one video that could, you know, blow up.
And it's like, that could be your moment to be like,
hey, I want to showcase myself to as many people as possible.
Thankfully, you know, like, there's platforms.
where they're like algorithms will just randomly push like a random video of yours to 100,000 people
overnight.
Yeah.
That's so cool, you know.
Bands, please.
Please.
This is my call to action right here, guys.
Use social media to your benefits.
It is so helpful.
I think too, it also introduces you to brands and all of that so you can do brand deals.
Yeah, like financially.
And you could financially make this like a thing.
Yeah, while you continue being a band.
Exactly.
And regardless, we'd have to be doing some.
thing. There's no money in music unless
you're like pop it. Yeah.
Yeah, for real. And it costs a lot of money
to even do music. And we don't
like, we're not part of a record label or anything.
So like all the funding is ourselves.
Like obviously you get a label
come in. But without that,
it's pretty hard to do. So this
definitely, like social media
has basically bankrolled us to even
be musicians. Yeah. In the first
place, which is a good thing. Which is an awesome
thing. And so how was your tour?
You guys just came off a tour.
20 shows? So much fun.
Well, that one, so the 20 shows,
that was back in
October of last year. We just got
back from opening for our buddies
quarters of change. We did eight dates with them,
and that was pretty much just like, East Coast,
a little bit towards the Midwest.
And we got a little something coming up that hasn't been...
Got a little something coming up, not announced,
but, you know, in the coming new year.
A little something, something. A little thompson.
But yeah, it was so much fun
being able to go on the road with those guys
because one, they're awesome musicians, awesome artists,
and it was just inspiring being able to see them on the road
and just being able to see all the fans too.
Like, it's just an amazing time.
Yeah, like there's nothing that we love more
than just like going out, meeting the fans
who make all this possible for us.
So like, I don't know, I feel like being on the road
really just kind of connects you and rekindles.
Like, it's easy to be out here in Los Angeles,
working on music, kind of get stuck in the flow of things,
but like to get out to different cities,
especially cities you've never been to,
and to see that there's a fan base for that,
like it's really inspiring
and makes you so grateful
to just be where we are right now.
And I would say the one thing we do, too,
like, at all of our shows.
We make it at every single one of our shows.
After our set, we go out into the crowd
and we meet every single fan
that we can possibly meet.
That's so nice.
Every single one.
You guys are so nice.
Like, dude, like, that's our main thing
because it's like, y'all made it happen.
So it's like, why am I not going to say hi to you?
Like, some people are like wild.
They'll, like, be like,
oh my gosh, it's so crazy me.
And I'm like, of course I'm going to say,
hi like what's up like you you made my dreams come true you know like the funniest thing about being like
kirklin too like we were in lawrence and we had like a line of people waiting to meet us and like i like
tap johnny and there's just like five people with trays of shots
oh my god sure take a shot with me and i'm like oh no man like oh okay like every fan comes up to you
because we're kind of known for drinking so they're like here take a shot with me i got you a shot
and we're like you're like it's like a fever dream but i love my fans though we're
I love my fans.
Oh, shit.
Right, right.
Oh, Lordy.
It's great.
That's crazy being known for that, too.
I was going to ask how you guys like touring.
It's exhausting.
It's exhausting.
Have you ever toured before?
I did for the very first time.
I did, like, a little comedy tour with my sister.
Like, we did, like, four shows earlier this year.
It ain't easy.
It's exhausting.
It ain't easy.
But also, it's, that's the only thing.
Like, I've done all kinds of crazy shit with this job.
But, like, that's the scariest shit I've ever done.
is like live performing. Yeah, I'm dead serious.
Do you get like the, I call it, like, Adele talked about it.
She literally before every single one of her shows has said that she like gets
deathly nervous, like to a point where she's like in the bathroom like throwing up.
Like every single show.
She's been doing it for so long.
She's like, I get so nervous before the show is like I get such terrible stage fright.
Yeah, I kind of felt like that.
I never really feel nervous ever.
I get that too.
I get that too before show.
Yeah.
So I get the drinking because like I told y'all I don't really drink that much.
but on tour I was drinking.
Oh, hell yeah.
I was like, I need that shit, girl.
Numb me before.
Yeah, I need a relax a little bit.
Yeah, it's a little fun story from tour.
So I can't remember what state we were.
Do you remember the state?
It was Milwaukee.
It was ex-rayed.
So we were in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I think it's, yeah.
Anyways, there was this, you know, very kind young woman that came up to me and was like,
she was with her boyfriend, I'm assuming.
And she comes up to me and she's like, it was after the show.
I think she was one of the other bands fans
So she didn't really recognize me or whatever
And she was like
Hey, has anybody ever told you?
Like, you look like the Kenna Kirkland guy
And I literally, I'm being, I'm so dumb
And I'm just like, yeah, I get down a lot.
No, no, Johnny goes, oh yeah, I've heard that before
And I'm right next to him
And I was like, hey, sorry, did you say
Does he look like the Cana Kirkland guy?
And she was like, yeah, and I was like, that is him.
And I was like, oh, yeah, yeah, I was like, yeah, that is me.
She yelled so loud
She was like, wait.
Oh my God.
She was like, what the fuck?
And I was like, I didn't realize.
I said like, oh, yeah, I get that a lot now.
Oh, it's crazy.
Yeah, crazy.
Yeah, I do look like a kind of Kirkland guy.
I do look like him.
I should start, I should start leaning into that whenever someone said, are you the kind of
I'm like, oh, no, I just look like him.
Just put on the red glasses.
No, it's not me.
Just lie.
Just lie.
Every time you're like, I actually never heard of that guy.
Yeah, who?
Who?
Who the fuck are you talking about?
But, um, yeah.
Yeah, it was crazy.
Yeah, one time I had a girl come up to me.
I was in Hawaii and she came up to me and she was like, oh my gosh, like I'm such a big fan of your content stuff.
I was like thank you so much.
And she goes, yeah, like, yeah, just love you so much.
She called me Coco.
And then I go, did you say Coco?
She goes, yeah, I go, oh, girl, that's not me.
Oh, no.
No, that is you.
Like, she's like arguing with me.
I said, if you're asking me if my name is Coco, the answer is no.
So I don't want to take.
credit for whoever Coco is.
What fuck is Coco?
I still don't know.
I still don't know.
And then she was with a twin and her twin was like,
I don't think that's her.
Like I heard her twin going,
I don't think that's her.
Oh, no.
And then she was going, no, it is her.
It is her.
It literally is.
Like she's like arguing with her sister arguing with me.
I'm like, okay, well, I'm not, but love you.
I'm exiting a situation.
I have a wonderful wife.
I feel like you don't need me for this part of the conversation.
Love you so much, though.
Love you.
Bye.
I'm sure Coco loves you too.
Whoever she is.
So if you ever see this, Coco.
I don't know if we look alike.
Coco.
Coco, I'm doing a mile out there, Coco.
I'll be Coco.
Sometimes I'll get people who approach me,
but it's very obvious.
They don't know my name.
So they're like, I know you from that thing.
You know that thing.
And they sit there, they're like, hold on, let me think about it.
It's that thing.
I can't, and I'm standing there.
The whole time.
You know what that thing is.
Probably.
I don't know.
I'm sure you all get that.
too. They're like, you look so familiar.
You look like someone. I had someone
one time they came out to me at like a bar
in Ocean City, Maryland, and they were like,
are you, you're a kind of crooked guy?
And I was like, yeah, blah, blah. And then I was like talking to her. I was like,
yeah, like, I'm number two. And she got, like,
really, like, upset. And I was like, huh? And then she left, and then she
DM me, and she's like, don't consider yourself number two
behind anyone.
She's like, you're going to be number one.
The way she's mad at you. I was like, your confidence
wasn't where she needed it to me. Right, right.
And I was like, no, no.
Like I've drank second on the show.
I'm the second alcoholic that comes up.
You are number one.
You are special.
Right.
I was like,
you are number one always.
She's like,
you know what?
I was thinking about it
and I have to send you a message.
Don't ever consider yourself number two.
Right.
Girl, no, I meant literally number two.
I'm like, why am I?
Contestant number two.
I was like, shit, I didn't even thought about it like that.
I'm contestant number two.
The way she got immediately mad at you.
She did.
I, like, ruined our whole conversation by
Simple stating I'm number two
It was crazy
I had a girl come up to me once
And she was like oh love your content
Blah blah blah
Ask for a picture
I'm like yeah
She takes a picture with me
Turns around
Walks back to her friends
Her friend
I could tell her friends
Are asking her who I am
Because they didn't know
Yeah
And then she goes
I don't know her fucking name
I just know she's on TikTok
Oh
She's this close to me
I'm like I can hear you
But I'm Coco
I'm Coco
Bitch
I'm so good
You're telling me you've never heard of Coco
I'm Coco
I'm Coco
That's why I was like
Oh my God
Love that
Yeah
I don't know her fucking name
Okay cool
Cool
Cool
Thanks
I'm still in earshot
Like let me get away from you first
Right
Do you guys primarily
Notice you have
More so female fans
Than anything?
Oh yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Girls in the Gays
Same
Same
It's a good thing
It's a wonderful thing
Oh definitely
It's a beautiful thing
I love our fan days
Same
Yeah it's awesome
It's definitely
Especially at shows
like everyone goes so hard,
which is like kind of like,
I don't know, you don't see it as much now
like shows these days and like
it's so cool to see the energy levels
like at shows just awesome,
people getting it.
I can only imagine.
It's badass, yeah.
It's so fun.
I get, I was getting super nervous,
like live touring too,
so I can't imagine how you guys feel
because I can't sing for shit.
But y'all are like an actual musical group,
so I can't even imagine.
I can't play an instrument.
Nothing.
Yeah, I'll say it's easier
to have the music
to sort of hide behind
because I don't have to get up there
and be like, so guys,
like, how's everyone's day going?
I get to, you know,
we get to like plug in,
turn the amps up
and just like kind of get lost.
So I think that definitely helps.
Like when I'm backstage,
I get like nervous
and I'll start to overthink and spiral.
But then once I get out there,
just plug in, start making noise.
It's just like, there's like moments too.
Like, say for instance
when I'm up on stage,
fans too, whoever's watching,
you guys probably notice this at shows.
If I get really nervous for a show,
I'll just go up on stage
just close my eyes and just like I'm just like jamming out.
Oh that's smart though.
I'm just like I just gotta get myself a second to breathe you know like yeah I'm just
having anxiety attack on stage like
Girl that's me panicking.
That's me struggling.
Yeah.
Which is even hard like even singing too I kind of have to like think of things to say like
I don't know after every song I'm like oh yeah and half the time I'm like out of breath
because I was so out of shape on tour like jumping around singing I'm like I'm like yeah what's
up everybody like holy shit.
Like getting lightheaded, like up on stage.
It's like I saw like Beyonce when she did her
Coachella performance like Beachella or whatever.
She would run a mile and sing at the same time.
Like so she would be running and belting.
Like she's like,
stomping on my.
I'm sleeping like a baby tonight.
Knees gonna be aching.
Knees gonna be aching, you know,
going to sleep like a little baby, you know?
So you guys said you played a lot of like little gigs
before, right? Like free gigs, that kind of stuff?
Oh, yeah. What's the weirdest gig you've ever
done? Oh, Jack, take that.
No, Jack, take that. Yeah, no, the hard hat.
Oh, right, right. Oh, yeah, yeah. So, I, uh, like...
God. Yeah, I was doing... This gives me PTSD. I'm not even going on.
I did an acoustic gig. I got an
offer to do an acoustic gig at, like, a new company.
And I was like, word. It's like right out, right in Baltimore City.
And they were like, can you play, like, a four-hour set? And I was like,
sure. And I roll up, and it's a construction site.
And this building is not... Four hours? Four hours?
That was a typical time.
Nine to one a.m. usually was like a typical time.
This was like six to ten.
And I rolled up and it's an incomplete building.
You could see through it.
It's an active construction site.
I was like, surely I must be at the wrong location.
And then some girl like rolls you down.
She's like, are you the, and like I was working for a law off the time.
So I was like wearing like a tie and shit.
Like totally unqualified for that job.
First and foremost.
But I know nothing about the law.
I'm going to court in March
someone help me
yeah so she's like
yeah you're playing on the fourth floor
she's like unfortunately you have to walk up
all like these wooden stairs to get up there
and keep in mind
incomplete building
not yet with walls
this is a music gig
you're going to play music
and then she hands me a hard hat
and like a vest
and she's like you don't happen to have
like steel toad boots on you do you
I swear to God
and I was like no I don't
Are you sensitive to like bricks falling on your head
you're right
I'm supposed to ask.
The building could come down while you're playing Wonderwall.
While you're playing Freebird.
People were taking pictures of going while I was playing.
Literally, people were taking pictures of me while I was playing.
And I'm just like, this is the lowest point of my life.
No, not at all.
And none of them had to wear a hard hat.
I was like, dude, this is embarrassing.
They made you wear it while you played?
Yeah.
It was crazy.
It was like the wildest area.
Why an open construction?
Because it was like a new company.
And it was like a, like a...
It was a corporate event.
Corporate event.
Like, it was like a corporate event.
Like, when a business puts on an event, they get like a band or like a single person from music.
That's what Jack was hired for.
And it was next to the highway.
So I just hear beeping in cars.
And I'm like, dude, like...
So thank God we're here now.
Soul wrenching.
And I'll see like videos on Facebook of like all that.
And I'm like, damn, I get PTSD from that very moment.
What about as a group?
Like...
We got booked at this one gig.
It was in Pennsylvania.
And like, the middle of Pennsylvania.
Yeah.
There's not really much there.
There's farms.
Just a bunch of farms.
We're driving up and it's like, okay, maybe this isn't like the, I don't know if we belong here.
It was like a biker festival or some shit.
And then there's just like, you know, yeah, we get there.
There's a barbecue and biker festival.
And you guys being there is so funny.
That's so funny.
We played like jazz fucking music.
They were like, oh, who the fuck are going to listen to this?
There's pictures of like AR-15s, like, you know, like.
It's like coming to.
take it, a bunch of stickers?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And we're just like...
They're like selling that, like...
That's crazy.
Giant open market and we're just like...
They're selling chicken legs and guns?
And I'm like, we aren't the ones like to be here.
I got out of the truck.
I got out of the truck when we first...
We first got to the place.
I got out of the truck and I was like,
where the fuck are we right now?
I was like, what the fuck is that?
I'm going home.
I'm going home.
Johnny got out of a truck and said,
guys, we're turning around.
We're leaving.
I was like, what's the fucking?
Johnny?
Johnny, I feel on.
uncomfortable as well. We need that paycheck.
This is a quick gig.
We'll just do it real quick.
And it was just like, it was the weirdest experience.
Because they were uncomfortable that we were there too.
Yeah, the vibes were felt on both sides.
Yeah, they're like, we should have hired somebody else.
We're like, we know.
I think we took it so not serious.
I have found it on my phone.
We wrote like three songs on stage.
We were just like, fuck it, boys. Let's improvise.
Like, this is the worst.
You just start doing bits.
We literally just started doing bits.
Like physical comedy
How many have you got to go?
I think they started doing like
Like keg throws too
Yeah then there's just this huge guy
Just starts throwing kegs
And I'm like hey boys
At y'all?
Like to see how like a competition style
That was after a set and I was like
Guys can get the fuck out of it?
Yeah and why are we still here?
I was like yeah can we leave please?
Damn
Yeah that's you guys ever been heckled
Yes
Yeah
Another PA story dude
Another Pennsylvania
We played a gig
They really don't like you there
We played a
Right
We played a gig in PA
We had yeah
At the time
We were like a jazz funk band
We went to
Yeah in college
We'd start
We always started our like bar gig sets
With like this long jam
called Strasbourg
But this guy Roy Hargrove
And it's like a great song
It's a groovy
Yeah
We got done
We killed it
And this guy goes like
Are you guys gonna play any songs
With words?
And we were like
Yeah, man, this is our first song.
You're like, four more hours, maybe.
Hey, lock in.
And then he came up with a 20 and he,
No, he bet us.
He goes, I bet you can't play anything good for $20.
And we're like, Jesus.
Your all difference is, I need the 20.
You're right.
You're going to hear your words, buddy.
My word, yeah.
And then we just busted out of Johnny Cash.
And then we just busted out of Johnny Cash. He's like, nice.
Just gave us this one.
He was like, pandering.
Pandering.
Just imagine this group of people at a biker bar in the middle of PA.
Like people, we walked in there and like the record scratched.
Everyone walked our direction.
We're like, we're the band.
We're here to live.
We had a flute player in the band.
So there was a flute solo that went down.
We had a flute in a saxophone.
It was just not.
I didn't know bikers fuck with jazz like that.
They don't.
Why are they hiring you guys so much?
I don't know.
That is the question, Drew.
That's a great.
I haven't thought about that.
Maybe they just,
Maybe I think you're all just so attractive.
Maybe that's what I think it was a mistake.
I think it was a misstep.
Our fans are 90% girls, 10% bikers.
I was going to say.
It's our TikTok.
Maybe there's like one biker.
10% Pennsylvanian bikers.
Specifically Pennsylvania.
Got a huge market in Pennsylvania guys.
You guys got to sit.
But not in any of the cities.
I've never done anything like, obviously I'm not musically gifted literally at all.
But I, when I was in high school, I used to dance.
like do cultural dance because I'm someone so like you used to do like Polynesian dancing
like you know people love that shit like they love to watch Tahitian hula like that kind of stuff
so I used to do that in high school and like one time we got asked to dance at a senior
citizen home and I was oh senior citizen homes like they be hiring Polynesian dance group like
they love they love to hire them sure and so we go and I'm like 17 or not even I was younger than
I think I was like 15 worried about this one what what's gonna happen next and like
Like, I could have dropped dead in front of them and they wouldn't have cared.
Like, they, they were so not entertained.
It's not even funny.
And it's like, the room was so small that, like, we were this close and we're, like, dancing.
And then the old people, not happy at all.
They're like, really?
Yeah, you end.
Yeah, you end.
They're just like.
Yeah, and then in between, yeah, it's silent, not even claps.
Like, they're not even going to clap because they're all old as fuck.
And this is my next.
Yeah.
And then they're just kind of sitting there.
Like, they wheeled.
them in there and they can't get out on their
own so it's kind of like they're trapped.
Oh my God. So it's like you're performing for hostages.
Ew. Oh no. It was so bad.
It was so awkward and it's so funny because like a lot of
the men's dancing and cultural dancing like
Polynesian stuff. There's a lot of slapping.
Like there's a lot of like sound. Yeah. Yeah. That's all you hear.
Just slapping no claps. The reverberation of
slap. Yeah. And then them chanting and then old people just
sitting there like just so they didn't not only did they not
get it, they didn't like it.
And then I remember at the very end,
one of them, one of them was like trying to talk to me.
So I was like, oh, like I went closer.
And then the lady goes, they said that we were going to get lunch.
So like, is there lunch or is it just this?
And I go, you know, I'm probably not the person to ask,
considering I'm the higher house.
I'm out of here.
Yeah.
So I'm the shit that you're being forced to watch.
So I don't know about the lunch personally.
And the lady was just like,
like, she's so pissed off at me.
And I was like, love that.
That is crazy.
How long was that?
Was that like an hour?
That was two hours.
Oh, like two fucking hours.
You get done the first song.
And we switch, no, we switch costumes and like you switch islands and you do a different.
Everyone got worse.
Like it was like, they were even more annoyed.
They were like, you got another one?
Like, wrap it up.
Like, where's my oatmeal?
I even tried to ask.
I was like, should we just like cut it or like?
I would pull the plug.
He's like, no, they love it.
They love it.
That's not true.
That's not true.
I don't think so.
Their facial reactions don't say they love it.
Well, that lady told me she wanted the lunch and she didn't want to watch this.
So I'm assuming they didn't love it.
It's not the funnest thing in the world.
I guess that's not the ideal market for you, you know?
I don't know.
Senior citizen home, you know.
I would have led into it.
I would have been like, guys, what are we doing here?
What's going on?
I get anything from me all.
Anything.
Anything at all.
It's all about a give and take, you know?
You give to me, I can give back to you.
Give me a small.
violence.
Jesus Christ.
Just give me something.
I don't know.
Look it at you like you're not even there.
It was pretty bad.
Even when I was like, so many of my family members like did cultural dancing.
Sure.
But I'm like the only Polynesian on planet Earth that can't sing or play an instrument.
So my whole family can play music.
They sing all that shit.
And we used to like my cousins will go perform or whatever places.
And I remember I had an uncle that he's like, okay, just to set the scene.
He's like in his 60s, old man.
Sure.
Nice guy.
Old man.
And I remember my boyfriend now
We went to high school together
We weren't dating in high school
He had a graduation party
And he said he hired like a group
To dance and sing and stuff
I was like oh we're
And it's a high school party right
My uncle's Mormon
That's an important context
Okay
So I go to the party we're late
And then we're walking up
And I'm like that truck looks familiar
To my sister and she goes
Yeah it does look familiar
Go in he's in the middle of his performance
Turns out it's my uncle right
Oh my god right but he's Toplin
and he's like fire knife dancing
in front of my high school friends
and he's again 60
oh my god so I'm like
like that's my uncle
I'm like watching him dance and I'm like
oh my fucking God
he's like spinning this
obviously it's fire knife he's spinning it
he's performing he's good but he's old
and he's like doing this shit and then he puts it out
in my and my boyfriend's pool
puts it out in the pool and then he's like
and then nobody claps
like I'm just watching okay that was my question
was it well received by
the high schoolers. It ended up being received
well to an extent.
Another tough crowd. Yeah, another tough crowd.
Yeah, high school kids don't really give a fuck about that.
But then he came and saw me later. He's like, oh my God.
Tiddy's out. I'm like, so good to see him.
Just topless. Oh my God. Yeah, so I'll give you guys props.
Performing is not for the week. It's not for the fan of heart.
No. It's tough. Especially when you're in the wrong place and the wrong time.
Especially when you're performing jazz in front of bikers.
Yeah.
You guys have more than one story doing that.
Oh, we could go on.
It's all bikers and all jazz.
No, not always.
Not always involving bikers.
And the funny thing, we don't even play jazz stuff anymore.
Now we're just a rock band.
It's just funny.
We're like, okay, like, maybe they were right, you know.
They scared you out of doing jazz.
You're like, they self-consciously inspired us, you know?
Thanks, guys.
Maybe they had a little bit of influence, guys.
Those bikers are probably like, and they were mad at me, but I pushed them.
I knew they're most of them.
And look at them now.
If I wasn't so mean to them, they might not be who they are now.
God damn.
They might be still doing jazz for us.
I think you all doing jazz is funny.
That's silly.
It's pretty funny.
Did you guys dress up to?
Like, wear like, no.
Suity ties?
It wasn't like that type of jazz.
It was jazz funk.
It was like, who would you say?
Yeah, I was like picturing jazz.
Doobie brothers.
Okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, the Dubey brothers, didn't they dress up?
Yeah, we're lazy as shit.
Yeah, we're lazy as shit.
Now we care.
Now we can.
That's what makes me laugh is that you show up like this and you play jazz.
I'd be pissed too.
You start playing.
You look like this and you play jazz?
I'm mad.
Well, you look like you play rock.
That's what you guys look like.
If I hired you and you played jazz, I'd be mad.
We actually once, there was a...
I'm the biker that hired you.
It was true the whole time.
Yeah.
It was true to the whole time.
It was funny you say this.
We were a part of the Maryland
Music Awards once
because we're all from Maryland.
We were a part of the Maryland
Music Awards once and we got voted.
We were in the category for
Best Reggae Band.
We used to play reggae back in the day too.
Best Reggae Band.
We came out on stage.
We came out on stage.
Keep mind.
We're being nominated for Best Reggae Band.
We come out and rip a whole jazz set.
You're just rigrolling people,
but it's playing jazz.
Now that we mentioned it,
no wonder we couldn't get good games.
Now they're like,
you know that kind of think about it?
Like hindsight 2020,
it's like,
Booker's probably like,
we have no idea what they play.
Damn, reggae,
like,
like,
like,
exactly,
yeah.
Slightly stupid type shit?
Yeah.
Slightly stupid type shit.
Dude.
That would,
that I would buy more than jazz,
if I'm being honest.
Facts.
If I saw you and you guys
said you did more
like a slightly stupid iration kind of vibe,
I would be like,
oh,
Yeah.
Jazz, that's left field.
I never want to guess that.
Yeah, we've done a lot of soul searching.
Yeah, made it a long way here together.
We've made it a lot of time to try to, you know.
Well, it sounds like you can play any genre now.
The evolution is real.
I feel like we're pretty comfortable playing a ton of music,
which is nice being a musician because, like, you know, pigeonhole.
Like, we draw off from a lot of inspiration.
But, yeah, definitely PTSD from many nine years of experience.
That's so funny.
My boyfriend and his first date was slightly stupid concert.
Oh, six.
We're just like, wire me and my big brown boyfriend on slightly stupid.
I don't fucking know.
We're still.
They put on a good show.
I was the darkest person there at that fucking show.
For real.
I was.
I was like so.
They call their fans stupid heads.
Yep.
Yeah.
Period.
We're friends with this band Pacifier.
And they're like a really good band.
But they're friends with all like the revolution, slightly stupid guys.
Oh, nice.
Every time they come out here, we get to like hang out with those bands.
They're all really nice people.
Cool.
Yeah.
Period.
What do you guys call your fans?
Do you have a name?
Like a Believers type deal?
The bikers.
The bikers.
We call our fan-based nefam.
Oh, cool.
Neffam, there you go.
Yeah, a nice little acronym.
I don't think we ever created a name for the people in it, but we'll get there.
Kind of like Austin Mahoney, you know, he called his fans Mahomes.
Yeah, yeah.
Silly and stupid, but camp.
So maybe think about it in that thing.
Okay.
You just steal stupid heads.
Right.
Neff heads.
With a Z.
We'll get back to you on that.
All right.
Let me know.
Let me know.
Okay.
So, just so we'll talk about one of these videos because we did a lot of key king, which
is a good thing.
Those are always the best episodes.
So our topic for today is like, can it be funny without being bigoted?
Sure.
Right?
So y'all are obviously extremely funny without punching down at all.
and I don't think it's very hard
unlike how some people will make it seem
it's not hard as all. It's not hard. Actually. It's actually not that hard at all. It's actually
quite easy. So, okay, so I'm going to read this first video to you all and then we just react to it.
So in this video, a man is making it on the street kind of thing where he's asking, like interviewing people on the street.
Yeah, yeah. And he asks a guy, she's a 10, but she doesn't shave. And the guy responds that she's a one and then continue, she's not a traditional woman.
she's a gross feminist monster
the left has created
this is a direct quote
that's crazy
yeah she probably supports
BLM Biden you name it
whoa
nice wow that's a lot to unpack
to fit all that into one
so thoughts
I need it's wild
thoughts fan
why in the fuck did they even
bring in the BLM
Biden shit
it's just a whole lot of
all the things that care about
other people
apparently are bad
I mean, it seems super insecure.
It almost seems like a child.
Yeah.
Or like a coping mechanism.
You know, like a child in like, you know, like third grade, like kind of like going off of a, or like even kindergarten, like going off about absolutely.
Yeah.
Well, he's probably got the IQ of one.
So that's probably why.
It's a double digit for sure.
Yeah.
I think the comments on this like this is, look, I don't support the other stuff he said, but the hair part is a personal preference and you don't have to agree with him.
It's an opinion.
Talking about women who don't shave.
Guess what?
It's if it's your body, do whatever the fuck you want.
Why the fuck does anybody have any saying that?
It's like, it's true.
It's a preference and women can prefer to never have sex with you, so that's also a preference.
That's true.
Right.
So if you care, and if you care about that, they won't.
Exactly.
If the goal is to get women, don't know why you hate them.
Most of you have girlfriends.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
So.
Yeah, Conrad.
Single, single pringles.
These guys are, these guys are taken, but if y'all are interested,
Two in the middle are not.
They're really good boys, you know.
Thank you.
But that's crazy, though.
I mean, like, I think, you know,
like you can have preferences.
Like, everyone has a type of person they probably prefer.
Yeah.
It's more so, like, someone nice.
Yeah, someone nice.
But, you know, and, like, whatever you're allowed to raid anyone,
but to bring in everything else.
Like, how is that...
It's very pointed.
Like, traditional woman.
Like, when you think about the traditional woman,
like, what, like, Adam and Eve shit?
Like, do you think they had razors back then?
What did you?
Yeah.
They didn't even have toilet paper.
They had doo-doo in their butt.
That's exactly.
Like, walking around shit, you know?
That's crazy.
It's also, like, it seems like he had all that ready to go.
Yeah.
Most of those street interviews are, like, planned.
Are staged.
Yeah, and they all feel stage or, like, it's just like, you're asking, obviously the type of person is going to give you.
Yeah, like, you know, exactly.
The interviewer probably is stoked he got that response.
He's like, oh, kind of.
controversy. Yeah, you know. Yeah, or it's his fucking buddy. Yeah, oh. They're like, hello,
random stranger on the street. I've never met before and I didn't go to preschool with. Those always be
dudes too that like, don't be flossing and like shower two times a week. Like, no Listerine
up in there. That's what I'm saying. Take it, take it for me. I've been to their house. It's very
clean. Very clean. And it smells nice. Thank you. It smells like candles. It's not like we clean for
three hours before you got there. It's totally not one out.
I know, I saw you guys like, these candles smell nice.
They're in their house.
I think that it's, yeah, it's just men complaining about things they don't have.
No, and it's very, it is.
Complaining about women, they're not with.
Honing on the insecurity thing.
It's like, why would you have to bring in all those other things?
It's almost like a, like a projection thing, like.
Immediately.
Immediately.
It's like, why are you, why do you even need to bring in, like, things like that?
Like, when it comes to, like, your body, like, hair and shit, it's like, too, hair bothers?
You got it on your fucking head.
Or maybe they don't, and that's why.
Okay, sure.
All these guys have great hairlines, and I'm just saying.
I'm just saying I'm always right.
I don't know about how much longer, but it's kind of receding.
The hats covering up a little bit of the receding.
These are all straight white men and they like me, so I'm telling you right now.
I'm telling you.
But yeah, I just don't understand the whole reasoning behind bringing certain things like that up.
Because even in like other aspects, like, you know, other areas of,
life like that type of response is brought up a lot and it's like and for what for fucking what yeah
for what like there was absolutely no you got nowhere with it yeah got nothing from it was a question
and just dive bombed it immediately this next comment says imagine though your girl has a beard
I'm assuming like the shaving thing is like a big deal with them um okay well I don't think that exists
but if it does, she's with someone who loves her and you're not, so, you know.
I can't really comprehend, like, watching.
There's so many of those, like, click-bedy-type videos.
Yeah.
You know creators, like, for example, we don't, like, talk about it.
That was his buddy, whatever, but, like, these creators do that because it's, like, they know what's going to get views.
Exactly, yeah.
So it's, like, if you take this guy into example who went and created that video waiting for that response, like, he could have done, like, five, ten, like, 15 takes just to get that.
For real, yeah.
But it's even like for like what we're talking about us, I see that stuff on the internet.
And like obviously you're going to like open the comment section and see how.
Yeah.
And you can like guess what the reaction is going to be.
I don't fucking get it at all because it's like.
It's almost like the videos are meant for the common section.
It's truly.
It's a very specific kind of rage farming.
It's like it's one big circle jerk.
I've never heard that word.
I'm also alone.
Is anyone else alone?
Okay.
Let's all be alone together.
Hate women together.
I don't know.
Like so much hate on it too.
And it's just like.
Yeah.
Do you guys get a lot of hate?
I doubt it.
Not really.
Not really.
That's a good thing.
We thought we, when we first did it, we were like, oh, like, we should be prepared to get hate because, like, we never made a TikTok or we'd never been that place.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But no, not really.
I mean, some people will, you know.
Go out of their way.
Go out of their way.
I'm sure.
I think it's kind of hard to hate when, like, we're just genuinely being ourselves.
I know.
Yeah.
And it's like, if they do, it's so senseless.
It's just like, that's like, cool.
I don't get to fuck.
Like, you know, like.
We really don't give a.
We do not give a single shit.
You should see it.
Half this stuff like we've done like just like as like friends.
It's just like, because like I said, we're the same people off camera.
Yeah, absolutely.
Bro, like, it's just like we're just having fun, living life.
Why would someone ever like be against that?
Like I would never, if you ever endeavored anything in your life that I'm against,
I would never openly say don't do that.
Like what?
Who the fuck am I?
Like, what?
I just like don't care.
I don't care enough.
Like, cool you're doing that.
Even if it's something I don't know.
agree with? Like, that's, you know, like, okay.
Okay. It's like, commenting hate
feels like unemployed behavior to me.
It's like, because I'm like
for what? Like, what did I get out of that? Like, I went and wrote something mean
on your shit. Like, what did I get? I couldn't like...
Money, a girlfriend. Imagine laying down a night
you're just scrolling through TikTokers that you see something,
you're like, all right, today's the day.
I'm gonna write something mean. I'm gonna write something fucking mean.
I'm gonna write something really nice. I can fake accounts and just
commenting on never really off.
I'm like, just burners, yeah.
You know, it's funny? Because I feel like, I feel like, I feel like, I feel
the meanest because sometimes I always get people asking me like what's the meanest thing a man
has ever said to you and I'm like no man has ever hurt my feelings literally ever on the internet
but one guy made one comment about me that sticks with me to this day and I talk about all the
time but he's told me I look like this girl put the screenshot of me which is like she was
trying to be nice okay um she could have picked any other picture of me chose a horrible one
that's okay still love you but she uh some guy just said I looked like the pot of greed card from
Yu geogio which like I had no idea what the fuck that was but he just wrote pot of
greed that's all he wrote pot of greed that's it that's all he wrote that's it's all he wrote
Yeah, that's all he wrote. That tweet 100,000 likes. I said, hey, hey, hey, that's mean. When I looked it up, I said, damn, you kind of got me. You got me, bitch. That does look like me. Sure. Hilarious. But he didn't even really hate me. Like, he was just like a passerby and was like, you're really ugly, by the way. Anyways.
Which like, game, recognized game. I respect it. So I was like, that's a good one. That's the only one that I've ever gotten. But like, I feel like men commenting, hey, is just so. Or people commenting in general, I just don't.
I don't care.
It's, yeah.
There's like better things you could do.
Like, actually, like, everything.
Like, literally sitting and breathing
is better use your time, I feel like.
Go meditate.
Fuck.
Like, goddamn.
Why are they being mean to people?
Fuck, dude.
Well, he's spent so much time doing that.
No wonder, you don't have a girlfriend.
Shit.
No fucking wonder.
You're busy.
Busy online all the time.
Busy, busy being mean to strangers
have no idea who they are, you know?
Johnny just giving advice.
Go meditate.
Fuck you.
Fuck you.
You.
Fuck you, meditate.
Damn it.
Shut up.
There you go,
fuck you,
go meditate.
Someone like a t-shirt
of that.
Honestly,
I've made,
I've made comments
before where I've said,
like,
the meanest things I've ever heard
were actually things
meant to be nice.
Like,
they're like compliments.
Have you guys ever
gotten anything like that?
Like,
backhanded compliments.
Yeah, like from fans.
Like, they love you so much.
Pierce gets a lot.
He gets them all the time.
He gets them all the time.
Ever since,
like,
with like the TikTok series,
Yeah.
But even like aside from like Kenne Kirk and like all the other like series slash
videos we're doing like TikTok.
Yeah.
There's like one person who's getting the fucking comments that we're talking about.
It's me.
So like basically like when I grew up like I had like long hair like since I was like a kid kid,
whatever.
And then like I don't know if it's because like the way the camera makes me look,
whatever.
Like the biggest thing it's always like is this like cis girl with a stash or like
everyone always thinks like I'm a girl disguising myself.
Really?
And that's just because your hair?
Because he's beautiful.
There you go.
The hair, it's like, yeah.
I don't know if it's like...
But also, my boyfriend has long hair.
Yeah.
You have long hair.
Yeah.
That's like the closest thing to like...
They're like saying it in a way that's loving though?
Are they saying in a way that's just...
It's kind of like an observation.
It's like it's like kind of nice.
But it's like...
But it's not.
Some have been like...
But then they'll like say like some crazy shit after it.
Like that's just like...
And yeah.
It would be like, oh my gosh.
Like you have such beautiful hair.
You would look so good as a girl.
Like, or like some shit like where it's like...
Like, okay.
It's like, what?
Like, yeah, it's like some stuff like that.
And the reaction is you don't really know what to do.
And you're like, what do I do with my, I don't know what to do with my hands, you know?
Yeah, you're like, thank you.
Thanks.
Like, they're like, oh my gosh, you have such beautiful hair.
You look like a girl.
And it's like, it's not offensive.
It's like.
Not offensive, but it is not a compliment.
It's like, oh, thanks for saying my hair is nice.
But it's like, but then like you also just like, oh, okay.
Yeah.
Or something like, like hot shots.
And I'm like, okay.
this is fucking crazy.
But it's just like, what do you expect?
Like, if you're like a content creator,
like you're gonna be picked up.
And also some of the time it's like attacking you in common.
Yeah.
It's a, yeah, usually.
90% of the time.
And if it's mean, I've noticed that a lot of the time,
it's like a 13 year old.
Yeah.
Like just spewing crazy, you know,
bullshit for no reason.
I'm like, this is a child, you know?
It's a fucking child, you know?
I've gotten, like, love that was,
didn't feel like love.
Recently, I got one.
recently that I was like, damn, bitch.
Like, she wrote me this long as DM.
She's like, oh, I love you so much.
Love your content.
You're so awesome, which is really nice.
And then she wrote, I especially love that you like go to like, you know, events and carpets
and stuff.
And, you know, because I personally have been really, really insecure my entire life
about my big manly shoulders.
And like seeing you wear strapless things and like seeing you with your shoulders out like
makes me feel a little bit better about my big manly shoulders.
I said, damn, bitch.
I don't know how to say, back you or fuck you, huh?
Fuck, girl.
Like, damn.
I read that whole thing I said.
When I read it, I was like, this is supposed to be a compliment, bitch?
Right.
Right there.
You're almost there, and then you just went over the edge.
But seeing you and your big manly shoulders, holy shoulders.
She wrote big comma, manly, comma.
She wrote that three times in one message, girl.
I was like, that's crazy.
Love it so much.
I love you, girl.
You just send him the emoji.
Thank you, so much.
That's crazy.
Because it's almost like if you're gonna, like, clearly you helped her,
you empowered her or whatever to be more confident.
So why don't you leave it there?
You know what I mean?
Let's bring back secrets.
That could have done it.
That's correct secrets.
Let's normalize not talking sometimes.
Keeping things to yourself.
Yeah.
normalize. Keep it out of the comments.
Let's keep it in here.
To DM it to me too, girl, I see it.
Oh yeah, it's like, no, no.
She DMed that to me.
I get those all the time.
There's so many better ways you could have just said that.
You could have been like the way that you present your body.
Like, okay, that's amazing.
Great.
Thank you so much, you know.
That's all I was like, thanks, girl.
Thanks, but not really.
It's like that avocado video with the kid that gets the avocado for Christmas.
It's like, an avocado.
Thanks.
That's literally me.
I guess those. I'm like, oh, I love you so much. Thanks. You're so welcome, girl. I'm so glad my big manly shoulders. I'm so glad I made you more confident. I'm like, get on my big manly shoulders. I'm taking us, girl, to the top. Let's do it together.
