Starting point is 00:00:00 There have been certain times where, like, I receive perhaps like an excess wave of harassment of some sort. Yeah. And I want you to know, you're my sergeant in those times. I am scrolling on TikTok. I'm like, hmm, okay, learning how to reply to this. Yes, baby. I'm taking notes. 50-50, if my zippers up or down anymore.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Take my pants off at home. Make them off easy. I'm like, I thought it was four hours I was walking around. Like, Netflix is a joke presents. Nate Bargatsy, Big Dumb Eyes, World Tour. A special live taping at Into a Dome. I think it's because I'm peeing so much longer. I watch young people come and go.
Starting point is 00:00:40 I might tell my family I'm okay. Nate Bargatsy, May 9th and 10. Live at Intoidome. Get tickets at Netflix at Jokefest.com. Hey, everyone, and welcome back to the season finale of season two of the comment section show. I can't believe we've made it 40 episodes. Thank God. Where are the men in the garbage?
Starting point is 00:01:00 Anyways, on to the most exciting part of every episode. We have my very special guest, the one and only, Pokemon. We went over pronunciation before this. Yes, I swear this is like the intro to everything ever that I do. You can call me Pokemon, you can call me Eman. You could call me whatever you want. I mean, honestly, your audience can also call you. Yeah, they call me whatever, honestly.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Yeah, I usually just tell people Poki for short. You can't really mispronounce Poked. You have to try. Can't go wrong. You have to try. So cute because I was literally someone was like, it's, it's Eamon, because your name's Eamon. So they're like, it's Pokemon. I'm like, oh, like Pokemon.
Starting point is 00:01:40 But um, me at 17. I did something. That's so funny. When I went to VidCon this year, I was like, when I was, had filled out the forms and everything for like my badge, I was like thinking to myself because they were like, what's your handle and then what's your real name? And I was thinking to myself, because I'm so old, I'm. I'm glad that I got big under my real name because I had some choice usernames back in the day.
Starting point is 00:02:07 I'm so glad that's not how I got big. Would you like to share one or two? One of them was, look, I'm like, my butthole went inside my body because I was thinking about it. What it was and I'm going to be honest and open and this is a safe space and I don't want to hear it. And if anyone's mean to me, send me your location because we're going to fight in the street like two grown men. We're going to pull up both. Yeah. Just know.
Starting point is 00:02:26 One of my usernames when I was on Myspace was cooiest forever. and I'm not proud of it. And it's okay, all right? That's my cross to bear. I don't care what you have to say, but that's my cross to bear. I'm laughing with you. Listen, they can't all be winners.
Starting point is 00:02:43 We all had usernames that were not proud of back in the day. At least it wasn't offensive. For real. It was just the cringe is so bad. It makes my skin hurt. You know what I mean? My teeth ache thinking about it. But that's besides the point because we're here to talk with Pokemon.
Starting point is 00:02:57 No, I want you to know you are the coolieus. The coolest forever. Forever. Forever. And you got to add that part in there, Eamon. You did not lie. You knew. That was manifestation.
Starting point is 00:03:07 When I was, that was me manifesting when I was like, how old was I like 12, 13 when I got in my space? Oh my God. Love. And it worked out. And it worked out. Oh, thank you. Okay, wait. I don't know how much more intro you need to do, but I need to start off by saying, I am such a fan.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Thank you. I worship the ground you walk on. Like, if I wasn't in a dress, I'd be bowing. Love, love. Me and my friends, because, you know, in our industry, probably in all male-dominated industries, it's not always easy. No, it's not. And we love your TikToks. We love talking about you.
Starting point is 00:03:42 And we always talk about, like, we need, like, a mini you in Twitch or in gaming so we can support her too. You're like a savior for us. Oh, you're so sweet. I can't even imagine how rancid it might get in the gaming industry. Yeah. And we're going to get into that because that's our topic for today, but gaming as like a woman or a femme presenting person. Because obviously the Twitch stream community is huge right now, especially on social media. And it is very male dominated.
Starting point is 00:04:12 But there are very prominent female figures in the gaming industry like Pokemon, for example, a vetted a goat. That's why I said, Pokemon is some gaming dude's fantasy girl, like dream girl. And she loves me, bitch. And you could take that to the bank. I do. If anyone tries to come for you. That's why I say that all the time. I'm like, your dream girl follows me. I can guarantee you that bitch.
Starting point is 00:04:35 I can promise you that. When I see those TikToks of yours, I'm like, hmm. She's like, yeah. She's like, at me next time. That's literally I'm on. So, well, you've been in the industry for how long now? So I started streaming in all 17. Damn.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Too young, honestly. 17. But then I went full time at like 21 or something. I'm 26 now. So almost like about nine years, full time like five years. Damn. Has it shifted a lot since the beginning to know? So much.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Like do you want to hear some like crazy tea? Yeah, I'd love to. I feel like this is one of those things that I share sometimes just to really give anyone who's maybe not in the industry perspective into how much things have changed. Yeah. I'd say like maybe six years ago or something, there's a friend of mine who is also a streamer. like a female streamer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:29 And she used to play games professionally. Have you heard of World of Warcraft? Yes, of course. So, yeah, she used to play World of Warcraft professionally. Like, she was really, really good. She was like the It Twitch Girl. So back then, she had qualified for a certain tournament. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:46 And another team who had also qualified changed their team name to Gunna R-Word, like, essay. Yeah. her at like regionals the tournament and that was normal at that time like their entire team name was we will do something very bad to this girl at regionals or whatever and stuff like that was like normalized to the extent that like whether it's in a tournament or a company is advertising it because there are companies that have to back these tournaments that was normal back then and let's say that's like I know it's insane but since then it has thankfully gotten much better.
Starting point is 00:06:25 Yeah. Like you won't see necessarily that, but still a lot of just like rancid misogyny on the platform. Yeah. The stuff that guys with large platforms say, it's embarrassing. It is. It's embarrassing to share a space with them, to be honest. Yeah, and it also, it taints the water for everyone because then some people might be afraid to stream because they don't want to have to go through that, like what you go through,
Starting point is 00:06:54 what your friend went through. I'd love your thoughts on like, from my perspective, I really like sharing my experiences in general, but sometimes I worry about sharing the worst of it because I don't want to discourage people from streaming. But also sometimes I want to be for real. It's not always rainbows and flowers. Yeah. So it's a hard line to tell.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Yeah, it really depends. And you and I are very unique in that sense, too, because you're in a very volatile, very male-dominated industry and then the niche that I have is is volatile and it's very nature. So like our experiences differ greatly from like the average like lifestyle influencer obviously. But my perspective on it is like there are some things that you don't share just purely because they're a danger to you or your family for whatever reason. But there are some things that I do share solely because it is the reality that we face. And then when you, you know, obviously I'm constantly talking shit. But like if you were to ever talk shit,
Starting point is 00:07:55 sometimes people, their initial reaction will be like, well, you should be above things like that. You shouldn't address. Like, you're just giving them more power by responding to it. And I think that's a bunch of bullshit if I'm being honest. If you're bold and private, you'll be bold and in public, bitch. I'll tell you that much.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Like, when they send me terrible shit, I post it and I don't blur out names. I don't blur out faces. I don't give a damn. You better hope I don't find a picture what you look like, bitch. Oh, you better wipe that hard drive clean, babe. because if I do, I'm going to ruin your life. And that's a promise.
Starting point is 00:08:26 And I've said that many times because the way that they do it in private, they do it so calculated because they're banking on you not saying anything or even seeing it. Sometimes they'll say like, I didn't even think you were going to see it. They're banking on never having to face the consequences of their own actions. Exactly. And you know what? I made a TikTok once where, because someone had commented on one of my videos, he's like, I've never seen an attractive, Drew.
Starting point is 00:08:53 a supporter and then I stitched. I literally found a picture of his face and use your imagination of what he looked like but I'd rather not. I put his comment and then I put his face and I did it like 10 other times I put a mean ass comment and then I put what they looked like
Starting point is 00:09:10 and then some people were like this is so messed up why would you if you're going to call me a fat buffalo I'm going to show everyone what you look like and then I'm going to ask the audience who's better looking. Let's take let's pick sides right now Let's turn it into a game show. You want to talk teams, which one of us is better. I'm going to put an Instagram poll and say, vote on which one of us you think is better looking. I think people love to use, like, half-ass logic against you of like, oh, you're being mean.
Starting point is 00:09:36 And it's like, you're lacking so much context here. Why are you only focused on this one thing she's doing? When in reality, like, you're never just going to blindly be mean to people, unlike the people who go after you or go after other women. Yeah. Like you specifically only respond. Yeah. And then I think, you know, if someone opens that door to a conversation. Well, then let's walk through it together.
Starting point is 00:10:00 We'll hold hands. I literally said on my last promo for my last episode with Johnny Sibbley, I literally, they're like, have you ever thought about her? She's the M.E person. And I literally was like, I am mean. That's true. I am mean. It's like, yeah, now what?
Starting point is 00:10:14 I'm very mean. And yet you continue to test my patience. What does that say about you? Idiot. That's what I was saying. I said, you're silly then. You want to be a silly goose. I'm more than happy to partake.
Starting point is 00:10:24 You know what I mean? I always say, I'm mean, that's okay. You can be mean. That's fine. I guess. Mean for a purpose. But also, also, you're only mean when someone's mean to you. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:10:36 And that is so, so much better than a lot of other people that these guys support. Yeah, because some of the comments on that video were like, how is that a flex? I didn't say I was a bad person. I said I was mean. Everybody has the ability to be mean. not inherently make them bad. Just like some people that you meet can be very nice and be terrible
Starting point is 00:10:58 people. Like you think about if you hear stories of like men cheating. You put that in the Bible. Yeah, you hear stories of men cheating on their wives, right? And then you ask their buddies and they're like, he's a nice dude. I didn't think you would do. Yeah. Anyone can be nice. That doesn't make them a good person.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Just like anyone can be mean, that doesn't inherently make them bad. And like you said, factoring in context, they never do that. They simply close their ears when I'm, when when they hear the first half. And hyper fixate on whatever they can pick up for you, man. Did you watch the video? She's talking.
Starting point is 00:11:29 I always say that. I'm like, did you guys, listening ears? Clearly not. Yeah. Listening ears. Did you guys hear the first half? No? On purpose?
Starting point is 00:11:35 Yeah, that's telling. And then I think with your situation as well, like a lot of men, I'm sure you get this. I'm so, I'm so curious to know of men telling you how to be a better gamer, Twitch streamer, giving you advice or tell you. telling you you should do it this way, you should do it that way. Oh, I can't even imagine. The man's explaining that goes on. And it's annoying because when it comes to gaming, like, listen, sweetie, I've been doing this eight plus, okay, I've been streaming eight plus years. I've been gaming since I was like 10. Yeah, the long, long time. And I'm not like a professional,
Starting point is 00:12:12 professional, but usually in a lot of games, I'll be like maybe diamond-ish, which let's say is like top 1% of player base. Because like, I'm doing this day in and day out. Obviously, I'm like half decent. Yeah. And when people come in and shredding, hey, you should have. Hey, you should. I'm like, sit your silver ass down. Like, statistically speaking, I know there is a 99% chance.
Starting point is 00:12:34 You don't know what the hell you're talking about. On top of that, oftentimes they'll say like, why didn't you do this thing? And I'm like, you're using like a silver mindset. You don't understand that I can't do this because of X, Y, Z. And sometimes I'll break it down. It's like, I can't keep doing this forever. Just don't talk. Yeah, you're all literally, I'm not going to break it out for you.
Starting point is 00:12:55 You're all, baby, you're playing checkers on playing chess. Yes, your questions show me you don't even understand. Dude, the way they'll explain anything to you, no matter what you say, they'll literally explain it to you. Like, I, this is like an equivalent, like a parallel to what you're talking about, but I made a video once about professional female athletes. And I was talking about how men love, love, they like can't, they have to. coach from the sidelines, right? Like, they love to be like, N-NOR!
Starting point is 00:13:24 Yeah, like, it's not even a real, you know, they hyper-criticize them, especially, like, female basketball players, like women that also play a very prominent male sport, like the equivalent to it. And they always have something to say- We know better! Yeah, they're always like, well, this is why.
Starting point is 00:13:39 You're not on the field. And I'm always like, well, you're at home. But you're at home. You're coaching, it's so easy to coach from the couch. Yes. You're like, just like, go faster. Just jump a little higher. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:51 You're sat on the count. The way that I'm like, even in your most athletic state, you could never do what they do. So like maybe shut the fuck up. I don't know. But they also like, they'll say things like, well, the man's like deadlift or bench like record, world record is this many pounds. And blah, blah, blah. And I said, can you do that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Can you do half of that? Can you do that? No. Okay, I guess you're a bitch too, just like me. You know what I mean? I guess we're both useless in that sense. We're both bitches. Yeah, they're like, the female one is 500 pounds, 600 pounds, and the male one is
Starting point is 00:14:25 1,000. Can you do either of those things? Then maybe, maybe, maybe, you know what I mean? Just for a second. You know what I mean? I also wanted to tell you. Please do. There have been certain times where like I receive perhaps like an excess wave of harassment
Starting point is 00:14:44 of some sort. Yeah. And I want you to know you are my sergeant in those times. I am scrolling on TikTok. I'm like, okay, learning how to reply to this. Yes, baby, I'm taking notes. And then on my stream, people talk some shit. And I'm like, Mama taught me.
Starting point is 00:14:59 And honestly, it has been so empowering. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this because I feel like oftentimes women can be told certain things. And although we know what the person is saying so damn wrong, we don't always know how to retaliate. And I feel like, you just put it into words so beautifully. And I'm like, yes, I'm writing that down for sure. She grows. Yes, it does. She spreads like the gospel, you know.
Starting point is 00:15:24 I love your recent TikTok where you're like, what guys think I'm saying slay. Oh, yeah. What I'm really saying slay or... It's true. That's the subliminal messaging. I was like, you know, the ones that get it, get it. The ones that are picking up when I'm putting down, you all get it.
Starting point is 00:15:42 I think it's a... That's like one of my favorite parts of what it is I do is hearing feedback like that. where women and others tell me, like, you've given me the tools to, like, defend myself, which I think is a great thing. Are you someone who's naturally not confrontational? I'm confrontational. Usually, throughout my career, the way that I felt is both easiest and most acceptable to respond to things that I really disagree with is, like, always making a joke out of it.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Yeah. I wish I could do what you do in our industry. Like, people will go crazy, like, articles. will be written. She said, if I don't blur someone's name, it's over kind of thing. But now I found, like, the key is just, if you can make a joke out of it, it's okay. There you go. That's my whole life. I will roast and toast you, and then I'll just giggle at the end. Everyone will laugh along. It's okay. It's okay. It was just a, if you can say it's a joke, I can say it's a joke. We're all just joking here, right? That's my whole brand right there,
Starting point is 00:16:40 but I'm nothing if not a silly goose. At the end of the day, I'm here for the silly goofy time only. We're all joking. We're all having a good time. Aren't you laughing? Yeah, I was like, you guys were having a ball before I got here. Yes. How come the silly goofy time stopped when I got in. Exactly. That's why I said it's like double dutch and that's my turn to jump in. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Like Corby and Blue. And then all of a sudden they're tripped. All of a sudden they don't want to play anymore. All of a sudden you want to pack up the ropes and go home. That's unfortunate. I'm like, I was having fun. Keep his stuff. I thought you were having fun too.
Starting point is 00:17:09 I guess that's a bad read on my part. So obviously, as we said earlier, we're talking about gaming as a woman or fan presenting person in the space and how, you know, rampant and vile it can be. But it's also full of great stuff, I'm sure. If you want me to interject real quick. Yeah. I think a good example, two days ago, I think. I had just been in New York with my family.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Yeah. I spent like a weekend there with my parents. And it took me two years. Okay, sorry, for some context. I'm an immigrant. I was born in Morocco, which is in North Africa. Then we moved to Canada. And then when I was 20, I moved to us.
Starting point is 00:17:47 LA. So growing up, I always felt like very indebted to my parents because we didn't have any family around. Like my grandparents, my parents, siblings, everybody is still in Morocco. So growing up, like it was very, it was very, very apparent to me that my parents sacrificed everything for us to just be in Canada, for me and my brother to have better opportunities. Yeah. So in New York, it had been two years of me trying to convince them, like, let me just pay for your retirement. Like, stop working. You don't need to. I will take care of you. Yeah. The only reason I am where I am, is because of the sacrifices you guys made. So I finally got them to agree.
Starting point is 00:18:22 I'm out of your talking like my financial advisor. This is what we're going to do okay. Yeah. And it's something I'm extremely proud of. Yeah. So I did a little tweet. I was like, paid for my parents' retirement. Smiley.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Yeah. And there were a lot of really supportive people. Oh my God. The rancid shit people have to say crazy. On Twitter? Yes. Twitter's the Wild West, bitch. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:18:44 The way that you open those quote retweets and you're like, What? People were awful. You thought I wouldn't see this? Yeah. But what blows my mind and what I didn't really talk about publicly is like the same guys who will be under my tweet like, ew, why are you saying this? Like you didn't even work for your money. We'll be the same guys who will like cheer, like, comment, subscribe on a YouTube, like a guy YouTuber who's posting his like fourth Lambo reveal.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Yeah. And you're mad. Yeah. Wait, you're mad at me from my parents' retirement. We're like, whoa, another Lambo. You go off. Do you see how you're like how you're like. Logic falters.
Starting point is 00:19:19 No, truly. Hmm. Suspicious. The pipeline is all, it's the Venn diagrams, a circle babe. Yeah. It's all the same dudes. It does not make sense to do. That's what we call pussyless behavior.
Starting point is 00:19:29 But at the same time, it's also big hater shit. That's what it is. It's just someone being a hater for just the sake of being a hater. You can be happy for someone who has the opportunity to take care of their family. And then, you know, at the same time, wish that you too could do that. So there's a difference between being jealous and being envious. Like someone, I feel like someone, it's all about intent when you're jealous. There's a lot of malice in there.
Starting point is 00:19:55 When you're envious, you're like, you know, I wish I could do that. And that's normal. And you probably could. Like, we're all envious of someone at some point, even at the levels that you're at the level I'm at. Like, we're still envious of other people. It's just natural. It's human nature. But I'm proud of you.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I'm happy for you. No, but also, it's a beautiful thing. The reason I tweeted that, it's not even like a flex, but jealous. Obviously, it's like, I'm so. happy and proud that my like I feel like talking about the story of like being an immigrant in this country is very important and showcasing like y'all you're hard and you can achieve these things and if anything it's hoping that people will be inspired by those things and I do think a lot of people are yeah I can I just cannot be in the brain of someone who looks at that and they're like I must
Starting point is 00:20:39 be angry yeah you and me both bitch I would never look at that and be like okay I'm right about how ugly this bitch is give me one second I would never do that in a million years. You know why? Because I get laid, so, you know what I mean? Like, I don't need to worry about that. Enough said, baby. I go to sleep very comfortably with someone who loves me.
Starting point is 00:21:00 So, unfortunately, for them. When I see shit like that, I'm like, oh, you're sad. Oh, you're very sad and lonely. Truly. I wish you luck. A faceless profile, anime picture. Zero followers account created that day. They replied to your tweet five.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I'm hoping someone will notice. Oh my God. The way that some meant, I literally tweeted about this today because they like updated Instagram where you know how before like if someone reposted your photo unless they tagged you you didn't see it. Now I see every single one which is strange. So I was just like clicking through them. Oh like in your main?
Starting point is 00:21:34 Yeah, yeah. Which is so strange. And when I was going through it, some kid literally reposed a picture of me dressed as a hot Cheeto. Wait, did you post that on Twitter? Yes. The most insufferable human on play. land and earth. Of all time, brother? I don't know. I think there's a couple other people that have me be for first
Starting point is 00:21:52 place. What the fuck do I know? But, but when I repost it, I literally tweeted it because I was like, at this point, you're a fan. Change your profile picture to me. I'm Junkuk of BTS. Like literally you're my fan. You're a big fan of me and me only. At that point, make edits of me. Use cap cut. You know what I mean? Do some slow-mo, put some glitter filters on there. A little heart. Yeah, a little heart. At this point, is it not hilarious? Is it not hilarious? Too, is it not hilarious to you that they used to Hot Chito?
Starting point is 00:22:20 That's why I'm like of all the picks, babe, like the most insufferable, I mean, you're not wrong. And I guess in that costume, you're not wrong. No, that's hilarious. I guess, I mean. You are really being a silly goose. Silly goose. And he's like, hmm, I hate Hotchito. He's like, I literally hate this bitch.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I hate her. Damn. Go find something to be happy about. That sounds like love to me, but. Agreed. The line is way for thin, isn't it? Between love and hate at that point. That's like I said at that point you're a fan.
Starting point is 00:22:48 You're a fan, babe. It is true. Love my fans. Either way you're obsessed. The funny thing about that too is like my platform is solely almost solely comprised of responding to shit like that. So like that does nothing but bolster my career. You're giving me content.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Yeah, babe. The opportunities that I get because you cannot stop talking shit on me, I mean, it's a price I'm willing to pay. I'll tell you that much. I swear they, I don't know how they don't get that. They never will. You tuning in, writing in my, people will literally sit there, post shit, get banned, can make new accounts.
Starting point is 00:23:26 Like, you're adding to my viewer account. You're keeping me at the top of the charts, sweetie. Thank you. You paid for my parents retirement. Thank you. That's what I'm saying. That's I was like, you're who you're what? I made a joke once.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Like someone, someone's like, I bet you she makes her boyfriend cook for her or some shit like that. I forget what it was about. But I was like this. What's a problem? I don't know. I guess it's illegal for them to go in the kitchen. Apparently. And that's why you're single.
Starting point is 00:23:51 And no shit. But then I was like, if anything, like, because they, like, these comments, like keep his belly full. We're eating good, babe, in my house. Oh, numb, numb. Yeah. Off your back, bitch. And I, again, take that to the bank.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Actually, I will. Don't worry about it. Oh, you do. No, I am like, okay, do you follow Meg the Stallion? Yes, of course. Of course, right? Of course. I love her.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I love her. beat. And you know how she's just like, she's always posting, always doing shit? Like, she has a new announcement every two days. Like, you just know she's working so hard. I get the same vibe from you. And it makes me so proud. How long have you been making content? Full time? Just barely a year. That's amazing. Yeah, especially the first two years. It's like, let's go. And because I'm like at a different point, I'm like so proud of you. Thank you. I go to bed like this. Drew's in her bag. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Like, it makes me so happy for real. Listen, I stay in mine. I stay in that big a bag. I'll tell you that much. I also say, too, like, that's, it's something that feeds itself. Like, I saw someone do, like, an analysis of me saying that, like, the fact that people tag me in other videos is, like, my own marketing team. Yes.
Starting point is 00:25:03 So it's, like, they said, if anything, she's a genius. That's so true. And I didn't start that. Like, they just did that on their own, and it became, like, a bat. signal almost and then they would be like this is the guy, this is the one. And if someone doesn't know you, they'll just see that comment, I'm like, I've seen countless comments where they're like,
Starting point is 00:25:19 who's, they're like, who's Drew? And I'm like, oh, you're going to find out. The hard way, unfortunately, for you by saying goodbye to that account. It's going to get overrun. Okay, so we're going to get into these videos. For those of you don't know, we're going to,
Starting point is 00:25:36 what we do here on the comment section is we bring videos that I was tagged and that are applicable to our topic. We bring them here. We left. We we dissect them we make fun of people our men terrible men only exclusively that's what we do here so to apply it to our topic obviously as gaming
Starting point is 00:25:52 as a woman or if I'm presenting person this first video I just give little descriptions of them is a woman she posted a video with the caption P-O-V she's in a lobby with all guys and acts out unmuting herself and saying hi all these guys' voices start yelling at her saying things like it's a
Starting point is 00:26:08 girl are you hot can I get your Snapchat female shouldn't be playing this game it's for boys, etc. Which is, yeah, which is so lame. So original. Amazing. Where did you come up with that? I know. So unique. Wow.
Starting point is 00:26:22 I think too that like, I don't know. I mean, obviously it's patriarchal, but like games, that's like, they're not gendered. Like, they're not like. It's like reading a book. Yeah. Watching a show. Yeah. There are genres of things.
Starting point is 00:26:38 And that's okay. There are girly games, girly books. Yeah. Why are you keeping? like an activity. That's what that's my point. Like a hobby, they're like, that's four men, which is
Starting point is 00:26:48 just asinine to me. I love to make that example too, because it's like, imagine you saw like a hobby that is maybe majority women, just guessing like knitting. Imagine a guy was knitting. Do you think girls would be like, get back in the office? Yeah, get back to war, you man.
Starting point is 00:27:04 Oh my gosh. Go build me a house. Yeah. Why are they like this? I don't know. It's just like the most intense form of like in of misogyny but yeah a call of duty lobby is is out of this world bonkers i remember i think i've played call of duty like a handful of times i'm not a big uh first person game person so i i never really called to me that kind of game but like my boyfriend used to play a lot and they say some rancid shit in there it's real bad even when fortnight when fortnight
Starting point is 00:27:36 first like blew up like i played that a few times and i literally only played that so i could get like so I could win at least once and then once I did I was like I'm out I don't need to do it anymore done I've already won the whole game done I've conquered it all call me Pokemon it's me yes when I got my first victory royale I was like I guess I'm Pokemon I love to do it I like I don't know like even in that game too they would say some crazy things on the headset I actually think out of everything Fortnite might be where there no no no one of the nicer community really it gets go bad bro. CS go
Starting point is 00:28:13 kind of cod. Yeah. I don't know what it is with those people. I don't know either. Maybe it's just the nature of them. Like maybe it's like war,
Starting point is 00:28:23 men. You know what I mean? I don't know. Aggression. Yeah, what are those men talking about? Let's go shoot people. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Maybe it's the vibes. I don't know. But there are so many like really nice. I actually optimistically, I think the majority of gamers are nice, normal people.
Starting point is 00:28:40 Especially because there are so many casual players. But I think it's those that play all the time and it's all they do. And they're not streamers in any capacity. They're just like big fans of the game. Yeah. And also I think because a lot of the gaming audience can be like 10 year old boys. Yeah. And yeah. Yeah. The hormones are hitting. Yeah, I've talked about that before. I can always tell when an insult came from like a 13 year old white kid. I can always tell. The way they write. Johnny from Massachusetts. Yeah. Their grammar. Oh no. Their grammar is so poor and the way that they insult you is so...
Starting point is 00:29:14 Their logic's on two IQ. Yeah, like the way they write the sentences, it's so... Like, they're speaking in haikus low key to me. They're like, you are stupid and fat and all so ugly. Okay, well... And then they're like... Poetry base. Then they say, like, kill yourself.
Starting point is 00:29:30 And I'm like, all right, well, because you said so, I guess... Go to hell, bitch. It's what I always say. The way that they... They just... The way they write it is... so, like, disjointed. And I always know when it's, like, a 14-year-old kid, I always know.
Starting point is 00:29:44 You could just literally tell. Your brain is clearly not fully developed in any capacity. But you know what's really, really sad? I think some of these really young boys, because they look up to, like, older men in this industry. Yeah. And they're the bad role models at times. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Totally. There's this streamer. I'm not going to say who, but there was a clip where, like, three weeks ago, you are grown like 35 maybe has a daughter and he's on stream with his friends and he's like oh my god guys like let's be serious remember when we would all be in a lobby and like we would see that on the opposing team there were names that were girly so we knew they like they were women and we would call them like whores and this and that and we would tell them to go back into the kitchen ha ha ha like you guys remember when we did that he's all those were the days for real how one hinge
Starting point is 00:30:35 how it was. He's all, oh, no, these bidsies are in here with money and platforms. Uh, I wish we could go back.
Starting point is 00:30:42 That's like when someone says, I wish I could go back to like old, like the, like, I wish I could go back in time, like, how far back? For,
Starting point is 00:30:51 and why? That's weird. Maybe unpacked that. How far back? And sometimes too, when you see, like, if men,
Starting point is 00:31:00 like, because I've had men, like, attack me like that and say, like, in the, in the past, men,
Starting point is 00:31:04 women used to do, blah blah blah. I'm like in the past women didn't have rights. You dingus? That's what I'm like yeah, no shit. No shit your grandma stayed with your grandpa no matter how much he abused her. She had no other options. She had no choice. If she had the choice, she probably won't left. Context clues. That's what I'm like, literally like, I wish we could go back. How far back? Be for yourself. Yeah, okay. So when peace, to win not just women but other minorities didn't have rights, maybe unpack that in therapy.
Starting point is 00:31:35 That sounds like a huge problem. Or go to hell. It's just embarrassing. It is. It's so weird. And it's so, like him like, him peeking and being like, oh, what close the days? You're boasting about insulting someone based on a girly username? And like, what's girly?
Starting point is 00:31:53 Like, the name's like, what if it was something like that's extremely gender neutral, like Riley? And they're like, what a girl name? They probably still would. They probably still would. But that's why I'm like, what's the name supposed to be? Big macho man 3,000. Only. Then you will garner my respect.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Big macho man 3,000. I would literally make it the most, like, ridiculously manly name. I'd be like trucks, cars, guns. You know what I mean? Like my friend actually makes her username manly man, Chad. There you go. Straight up. There you go.
Starting point is 00:32:23 And I'm not going to talk. That's it. That's it. And I respect that. No, literally. Sometimes I would, when my boyfriend would play like Fortnite or Call of Duty, I would literally, I would sit on the headset. but I would just talk and he would play
Starting point is 00:32:36 And they would say terrible shit to me But he's really good at that game So then they'd be like Whatever This bitch I hate Let's fucking go That's my favorite thing If it's the beginning of a game
Starting point is 00:32:48 And all of a sudden someone's talking shit Because of your voice Yeah Or maybe because like They have two kills and you don't have any And that's when I will literally do this on stream I'm like When I notice someone just like raging
Starting point is 00:32:59 Being rude I'm like oh I pull my seat up I sit up straight give me five minutes. Yeah. And then when I have double their kills, then I turned my mic on. I'm like, what were you saying?
Starting point is 00:33:10 Yeah. Little bit. Just checking in. Yeah. How are you feeling now, huh? I literally would, I would just talk to them like we were on the phone because I thought it was funny. I'd be like, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:33:19 What are you wearing? What are you wearing? What did you do today? Did you eat? What'd you have for breakfast? Because it's like, who cares? It's a game. For real.
Starting point is 00:33:28 What are you so pressed about in life? I know what you're really wrong. We're so lucky to even be playing this game. No, literally. get a job, babe. So some of the comments on this, it says, like, that's the boys for you. You got to accept it, I think is what they're trying to say. No, no, you don't.
Starting point is 00:33:43 This one says don't play if you can't handle it. I scroll through those comments. Yeah. He used the wrong kind of accept. I know, he's spelled down. That's my point. 14 years old. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:33:56 At least pretend like you're not. Like, do a little spell check. At the base minimum. QA, QC, you know. This one says, I don't care what anyone's, says if I lose to a gamer girl in any game, I'm quitting gaming for life. That's, comments like that piss me off so much because it's like, I don't even think you realize how misogynistic you're being. Also, what a, what a bitch. What a bitch thing to say.
Starting point is 00:34:20 Like, if I lose to a girl, I'm quitting forever. You know what? I don't even know what game you're playing. I'm going to teach myself how to be really good at it and I'm going to seek you out personally and I'm going to beat you. I'm going to make you quit every game you love. Every time you find a new one, I'm going to study that one and I'm going to get better than you. every single time. That activates my prey drive like no other. Actually, that's funny. I think one of the only reasons I'm as successful as I've been is because I'm stubborn
Starting point is 00:34:44 and you tell me I can't do something. Baby, just wait. I will. It's like, I don't think they realize, but the misogynistic sexist haters, these guys are fueling me. Yeah, literally. I didn't even realize till now. I'm like, oh, you guys make it so I'm never satisfied, so I'm going to keep going.
Starting point is 00:35:00 Absolutely. We're going to keep doing this. It makes them so upset. Sometimes, like, I remember. remember one time I went to this like simulator thing um with my boyfriend's family and um my it was like um it was a scene where you're like training for like situations it's basically you're pretending to shoot but there's no real gun and it's like a simulator and so we were yeah and so there's targets and like you just see how fast you can hit them all and so my boyfriend and his brother are
Starting point is 00:35:29 very competitive like to the point where it's like upsetting so like where we have to like separate them or they cannot compete against each other because it just gets to be too much. But I remember when we were doing it that night, I literally was like, the only person I'm going to be is your brother because it's going to upset him and that makes me giggle. He's not a bad person that by any means, he's just so competitive. I literally only was trying so I could beat him. And I did. And then I said, I don't need to shoot anymore.
Starting point is 00:35:55 I'm done. Bye. I did what I came to do. Yeah, I did. I came. I saw I conquered. You know what I mean? And it's like I only do that to people who take it to.
Starting point is 00:36:04 seriously. Yes. He's such a good guy. He just gets too competitive. And it makes me giggle. So that's why I'm like, I'm going to. At least that one's funny, but it's so satisfying when they're like hate and ass bitch. When they're mad. Yeah. When they're angry. Watch this. Oh yeah. Absolutely. I know you're watching. Every single. That's why I said like him saying, I'm quitting forever. I'm like, it sounds like you're a bitch. I just read your chart and it says it's that you're a bitch rising. SDE. S. D. So said in your big three, babe. You should look it up. Okay. So this next video. I'll move on to the next one.
Starting point is 00:36:36 This is a woman posted a video of herself with the caption. You don't know how hard it is being a gamer girl. And inserted quotes she's received from men while playing, like, go make me a sandwich, go back to the kitchen, et cetera. And obviously, the comments are not kind in any capacity. And honestly, that's on the nice end of things. Yeah, it is. It really is.
Starting point is 00:36:59 It gets very. Crude. Yeah, it gets very violent. Yeah. It gets very aggressive. It's gross. Yeah, disgusting is a great word for it. I've had some creators come on my show in the past and they've said, like, do you ever get like, oh, I was Dylan, Dylan, my friend Dylan, Mulvaney.
Starting point is 00:37:18 She was like, do you ever have someone being like, oh, like, she looks good here, but I still hate her and I go, no. It's mostly just, I hate this fat bitch. You know what? I'll take it. I would rather that, because like sometimes I'll get comments that are like, I can't stand this bitch, but like, if she, if she stopped talking, I would. Like, shit like that. I'd rather you call me ugly.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Yeah. Just full on hate. I'd rather you call me ugly. Yeah, I'd rather you talk all about my looks than pretend for even a second that you would ever get the chance to breathe next to me, let alone date me in any capacity. Actually, what I noticed in my industry is more so like the very subtle misogyny that people might not realize. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Or if I do something perhaps admirable in any way. Or impressive, yeah. People will say, oh, I don't like her, but this is cool. Yeah. I don't watch her, but this is cool. Yeah. You could say something is cool without specifying. How much you think of don't like you?
Starting point is 00:38:19 And why do you care to specify so much? Because they do like you and they do follow you. That's why. And they don't want anyone to know. That's why. I know. I've had. Just think about why do you need a preface that?
Starting point is 00:38:29 Yeah. For anything else, you probably wouldn't. I did a video recently where I talked about, like, there was this girl and she was at this house and she was like, how tall are you to these dudes? And then they lie for obvious reasons. They're like six foot. She measures five eight. Yeah, yeah. They're like six one.
Starting point is 00:38:48 I'm like just by the feet alone. I know you're not six one, bitch. Like lie to your mom. But like I talked in the video about how like it's not the fact that you're short. It's that you're lying. Like you ain't got to lie to kick it, bitch. like I can I'm looking at your scalp and you're telling me your six two you're out of your mind babe you're out of your mind babe so I remember when I said in the video I said this whole
Starting point is 00:39:10 thing and I was like I make fun of height because you cannot be terrible and be short you got to pick one pick a struggle it's in the constitution it's in the Bible look it up it literally says I actually I did look it up yeah there there you was there you were verified there you go but if you if you're awful and short I'm going to make fun of how tall you are it's just it's just it is what it is but I had some dudes comment on my video and they were like, I really hate this girl, but this is a good video. Like some dude was like extremely rare Drew W or some shit like that. And I literally, and it's like, can you just compliment without having to put someone down to you?
Starting point is 00:39:45 What the fuck is this backhanded compliment? I don't need it. I hate you, but I like this. Yeah. And then they'll say, they're like, I actually really hate your videos, but this one is good. And I'll literally put, I'll literally put suck my dick, bro. And then some dudes will be like, he was giving you a compliment. No, he wasn't.
Starting point is 00:40:00 No, he was not. He absolutely was not, babe. Do you know what a compliment looks like? Maybe not. He was giving me a shit sandwich is what he was giving me. And I'll keep it. I'd rather get hate. I hate that.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I think sometimes people don't even notice that they're doing that. So I just want to put this, like think about why you feel the need to insult and then compliment. Yeah. That's not normal. Yeah, exactly. It's negging. It's like a tactic. It's a manipulation tactic.
Starting point is 00:40:27 It's cringe. It's also very like, it gives me. the dude who's not outwardly bigoted or misogynistic, but he's got a lot of internalized misogyny. So it's like, it comes out in small ways. Those dudes are honestly worse to me than an outright bigot because at least an outright bigot is up front about it. Those dudes like, it creeps in. They don't even know and it's scary. Yeah. It's manipulative. Internalized misogyny is a slow but insidious killer. Yeah, it is. Very, very scary. Poison, really. And it's very, it's, it starts in such subtle ways.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Like, like, I was like, this is such a, this is a literal, like, random scenario. I was in my boyfriend's car and we were driving. And we stopped to get gas and some song came on. I think it was that song. What's that song by the Silver Sun Pickups? Dace, what's the song? Lazy Eye, yeah, great song, right? So the song comes on.
Starting point is 00:41:21 I was telling my boyfriend, I go, wondering something funny. If I was a terrible, like, low-key, misogynistic white dude, I would literally, he'd be like if we were just dating that flavor he would look at me and he'd be like I bet you don't even know who sings this like shit like that that's a bigot bitch in disguise ho that's they're hiding in plain sight
Starting point is 00:41:41 he'll say he would say something like that to me and I'd be like the Silverstone pickups and be like see that's why I like you because you're not like other girls you hear that shit and you like it? Kick them to the curb immediately as soon as you hear that run bitch those ones are worse yes I agree at least the other ones are easy to
Starting point is 00:41:59 avoid. Yeah. To target. Yeah. They seem safe at first. Yeah. And they say little things like that and they're supposed to be comments and they're not. They're drags.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Each of them is a negging like it's a it has a bunch of undertones to it that are rooted in misogyny. Even if they don't consciously think they're doing that. But I promise you they do. If they act and talk like that, I promise you they know what they're doing, which is worse, more dangerous to me. That's what I'm most scared of within gaming. I feel like the internalized sexism and misogy.
Starting point is 00:42:29 is something that will be really hard to erase. Dude, to this day, I hear about companies within gaming that still have that issue. Like, girls have shared stories with me where them and a guy are both trying to get hired. Her interview process is very different from his. As soon as she's like, oh, yeah, of course I like this game, Bob, they're like, oh, yeah, what's your rank? Do you know this? Do you know that? But the guy, like, they'll just take his word for it.
Starting point is 00:42:54 We'll go on about the job. They're like, perfect. So, tell me more. Name four champions. Oh, it's the same thing. Whoa, what the hell? As like if you're wearing like an Iron Maiden shirt and they're like, name three songs immediately. You know what?
Starting point is 00:43:07 Even if I don't know them, let me wear a freaking shirt. Yeah. So then what? I was like, it's suck my dick. Those are three songs right there, babe. Go ahead and take that. I hate questions like that, but that's the shit I'm talking about where it's like, it's very low key. If a guy ever says you're not like other girls, I'm leaving.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Run. I want to be like other girls. Run, bitch. I'm like, you know what? Immediately I'm like, I'm like every other bitch you know. Yes. Drop me off at home. Take me home immediately.
Starting point is 00:43:32 I'm like every other bitch you know. Yep, I'm just like them. Drop me off. I don't want to see you ever again and lose my number. Okay, so the comments on this, it says any girl who calls themselves a gamer is automatically not a gamer. Huh? Because you said so. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:43:49 I'm a lawyer. No. No. Because you said you are so you're not. Yeah. Because you're a girl. So clearly you're not a doctor because you're a girl. Weird.
Starting point is 00:43:58 What a stupid thing to say. What do you call yourself? I play the games. I enjoy games. I enjoy video games. But I'm not a gamer. No, no, no, no, no. No, by no means, am I a gamer.
Starting point is 00:44:11 Only one other people call me that, but I can't, no. I can't identify as a gamer at all. Otherwise, they'll get mad at me. That's freaking crazy. This one says, if you're one of those pick me girls, I'm going out of my way to ruin your day. See, okay, the idea of a pygmy has been, like, conflated so terribly with terrible men, it's, it's annoying.
Starting point is 00:44:31 So I'm going to give you what a pygmy is. A pygmy is someone who, a woman who puts down other women for the sole purpose of male validation. Like everything she does is for male validation. Whether it's tearing down other women or tearing down herself, it's just internalized misogyny is what it is. So it's so, it's a woman. Yeah, and it's women, women who can, women can absolutely be misogynistic.
Starting point is 00:44:52 That is very true. Just like you can be a person of color and be racist. Like that is also true. So that's what a pick me is. When women are like, I'm being harassed, that's not them being a pygmy. Like, use your brain. Like, use your brain. Oh my God. They're that confused?
Starting point is 00:45:07 That's why it says, like, she literally says I was, I'm being harassed as like a, as a female gamer. And then they're like, and that makes her a pykney? You're a pick me? Nor. No, see, don't pick me is the thing. Don't, in fact, skip me. Please, please. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:45:20 Skip over me. Ignore me. I don't know, do literally anything else. Don't pick me. Actually, a pick me girl, like real ones. Yeah. Or. Women who have internage, that's the stuff that makes me the saddest.
Starting point is 00:45:31 When a guy's shitty, I'm like, just another one. Yeah, yeah. When a girl shitty, I'm like, no, babe, we need you for the five. Yeah, yeah, same. I'm like, pull one out, we lost one. Please, no. Pour one out. For real.
Starting point is 00:45:41 You know? Yeah. Poor one out for her, she's gone. And girls are like that sometimes, like, in the lobby. Yeah. Because if there's, like, five people and there's two girls. Yeah. One of the girls will be trying to get the three other guys validation by
Starting point is 00:45:53 by shitting on the other girl. Yeah, she's. Yeah, it's almost like an, it's almost like an immediate. like self-preservation tactic. Yeah, which is sad. Like they're trying to survive, but they don't realize they're being so shitty.
Starting point is 00:46:04 And they're proposing the, they're proponing the problem. It's like getting worse. They're perpetuating that issue. That's what it is. And the thing, what is so sad that they don't realize is that even if they get that validation
Starting point is 00:46:15 from the other guys, long term, it's going to bite you in the ass. Those guys will still come for you. Yeah, they're never... Don't think that just because you got their validation for a little bit, no. Yeah, not even for a second, but I've said that before too.
Starting point is 00:46:26 Once it's your turn to get, Shout on, they will be joining you. Yeah, I promise you, they will vote you off the island immediately. As soon as they don't need you anymore, babe, you're gone. And I've said that too. It's not worth it. That's another thing if you're talking about, like, a red flag when there's, this is like the epitome of a pygmy is someone who's like, all my friends are guys because girls are drama.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Or someone who says, I just don't get along with women. I have no female friends. Like, no friends that are women or identify as women. That's weird. at your big age, you don't have one bitch on this earth that likes you? Not even one, not even your mom? I don't think they realize that that's like a self-insult. That's what I'm saying, like not even one, not even your mother likes you.
Starting point is 00:47:06 Like, do you have a sister or cousin? Nothing? A grandma, nothing? Like not one bitch on this planet is like, yeah, I like her. She's nice. You, babe, look internal. But I say with that too with Pick Me Girls, I always tell them like, this may seem like it feels good to you now, like doing this. shitting on me, but long term it's not and life is too short to waste it trying to prove to men that
Starting point is 00:47:32 they should respect you. Like proving constantly having to seek their validation for anything is exhausting and it's a fruitless endeavor. I can promise you that. Men like that will never respect you. I will say throughout all of my years being in a male dominated field, the only thing that has ever saved me is companionship from other women in this industry. Community. Not not the guys. Yeah, literally. Ain't no one coming to save me. It's always the girls, the people who get where you're coming from, who truly not just sympathize, but empathize with you and who will validate the shit that you're going through. You need supportive women in your life. Yeah, you do. You just do. But community is what I think holds most of us together, especially in areas
Starting point is 00:48:19 like that, because those male-dominated industries are everywhere and all across the board. So, like, When you find other people that have similar experiences to you and then you kind of like band together, it makes it more bearable because it's hard like to do it alone. To brave it alone is hard in and of itself. So when you don't have any support because you burn bridges with other women in your field, like that's on you. And when you go through something that guys can't relate to, which will happen. Yeah. It's going to happen. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:50 You're not going to have anyone else to turn to. No, literally. And that's on you. that sucks. Like I just, I promise you it's not worth it. It isn't worth it. We were all a pick me at one point in our lives. That's just natural because- You grow up at some point. Yeah, because we're all born into a patriarchy. So that's bound to happen. But like, it's not your fault if you had that. Yeah, if you find yourself thinking like, oh, I just can't be friends with girl. Think through that. Yeah, unpack it. It's okay. Yeah. Unpack it though.
Starting point is 00:49:18 Figure out why do I feel this way? Yeah. Mm-hmm. And really go out of your way to break that cycle. Yeah, because you need your bitches, man. You just do in this life. You really do. Okay, this last comment says, what are you talking about? That's how me and the boys communicate to one another.
Starting point is 00:49:38 By insulting women. Like, that makes no sense. It really is, though. Logistically, that isn't. I mean, I know that's how you signal each other. Like, bird calls, you know what I mean? Like, you know how dolphins, like, you sonar in the ocean? Like, that's terrible men to each other.
Starting point is 00:49:54 I hate women, too. Yeah, they're like, get back in the kitchen, you bitch. And then another guy's like, hey, same. I also hate women. Hey, they like, talk about community. They find community amongst each other. Guys can be so confusing sometimes. Yeah, because isn't the whole point that you want women.
Starting point is 00:50:09 Exactly. You know what's crazy? On our platform especially, on Twitch. Yeah. There is this logic that I cannot seem to wrap my head around. Yeah. Where guys are so mad at women for having cleavage while streaming. And that's, I've seen that.
Starting point is 00:50:25 I've been tagging stuff like that. Wait a second. On Twitter. You don't want to see boobies? Doesn't ever be like, I don't really care. You care? I think that's weird. But the crazy shit is they will equate it to insane stuff.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Someone will like, not actually, but if someone like kills someone else and then is banned off Twitch, they'll be like, yeah, but these women with cleavage. It's just as bad. Yeah, I've been there. did you get here? I've been there. I've had people compare me to like literal dictators that have committed genocide and I was like, okay. Are you thinking before you speak? No, me thinks not, not very well. Me truly thinks not. That's the most egregious thing you could ever say. I had someone be like, I knew someone else that also led a movement and
Starting point is 00:51:19 chose love and it was Martin Luther King. Babe. Go to Hell, bitch. Like, for real. The fact that he was like, what about Martin Luther King? What about him? What about him? The fact that you're comparing me,
Starting point is 00:51:34 a silly goose to a civil rights leader, you're Aki Rockovich. Do you realize, like, we're on TikTok? Hello? The fact that you're even trying to equate them,
Starting point is 00:51:43 like you are quite literally the stupidest person I've ever encountered, but that's a given considering just the thought of, what you just uttered. And also your point about cleavage, I made videos in the past where...
Starting point is 00:51:56 It's 2022. You're mad about crazy. Well, it's also, there are girls that, like, they're just being hot for the sake of being hot. Like, let's all thank people like Meg the Stallion, our Lord and Savior, for allowing hot women to exist in the world. Yes. But I do think, like, I've made videos in the past when they do that, like,
Starting point is 00:52:14 what is this? Like, getting, like, so enraged by saying hot women. And I always say, like, I can't believe that makes you upset. I mean, I know why. but I don't think you know why, and that's the part that makes me laugh. But I also think you're ruining it for the rest of us. The rest of us want to see hot women. You don't.
Starting point is 00:52:33 Go be sad. Go be sad. Yeah, close your eyes, bitch, is what I want to say. Because it's- Do this? Yeah, literally. Go home. You don't want women to be hot.
Starting point is 00:52:43 But then at the same time, if you find someone, you come across somebody who's not doing anything to anybody, but you don't think that they're hot, you feel the need to make videos about them too. Make up your mind. Make up your mind, bitch. Make up your mind. You want to see them or do you do not. It's like if you're confident, they say you're conceited.
Starting point is 00:52:59 If you're not confident, they say you're too insecure. It's like you got to pick one, babe. You say. I feel like I have never become more acquainted with misogyny until I was like really on a male dominated plot. You say anything nice about yourself. They're like, you're so cocky and conceited. I'm like having an ounce of confidence does not make you cocky.
Starting point is 00:53:20 No, it doesn't. Oh, I feel like I like cute today without you. be like getting your panties in a bunch of why are you bad? Also is she wrong lie to your mom bitch that's what I'm saying you're a liar you're a liar get on this floor like the rugs you liar they want you to be like
Starting point is 00:53:36 sad they're like humble yourself humble humble humble what? Just because you're sad doesn't mean I need to be sorry I'm like you I mean I literally had some like humble yourself I'm like well I don't need to but I would be if I were you because if I was ugly I would also feel pretty humbled that I for sure would Yeah. Sorry for your loss. I'd say that too. If I had your face, I'd say that too. That's a bummer for you. I can't even imagine. I can't relate, but I can't imagine.
Starting point is 00:54:02 We need to, I don't know, scientists figure out cloning or whatever. We need like three more of you. And we need to get them to stream for freaking real. Yeah, literally. I think too that I think it's really cool though that people like yourself have built these massive platforms that are like so prominent. you're such a prominent figure in the gaming industry, which is incredible. But I think it's so important that you're someone who's so, like, girl positive, babe. Like intersectional feminism, out the wazoo. That's what we like to see. I think that's so important. And it's hard, bro.
Starting point is 00:54:40 It's hard being, like, someone of your level and stature in that industry. It's hard, man. And you know, even when you talk about these things, people are so quick to be like, oh, you're just using, like, the misogyny card. the discards. And right now, like, currently we're talking about more so issues that women are from presenting people face. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:00 But there's so much racism, bigotry, homophobia, transphobia, fat phobia on, like, in that industry in general. Yeah. And it makes me so mad. And what makes me even more upset is like, if you are, as you said, at any intersection of these things, you have it even worse. Yeah. And I don't want that to be the case for people.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Because gaming is fun. Well, and it's like, it's one of those things where you're, you're, even though it's hard, streamers like yourself are still showing up for other people who want to stream as well. And it's like it's opening a door and holding it open so that other people can come through it. It's true, it's true. It's very important. Representation is so important. And also, I think it's, it speaks to the level of like, you know, what you were saying earlier about being stubborn.
Starting point is 00:55:49 It speaks to your your perseverance. You don't want me here? I'm going to make sure. I'm planting roots, bitch. That's literally the same thing with me as well. It's a similar testament to like, I'm never going to go anywhere simply because you don't want me here. That's going to make me see here for sure.
Starting point is 00:56:05 But also, I think too, I talked about this in an interview recently when I was talking about, like, they asked me what's your biggest fear about your platform or whatever. And I said, my only fear that I have is that if I were to ever start making other kinds of content or branching into other forms of traditional media, my fear is that they would feel like they can't do this without me, which is just not the case. Like, I've more than armed y'all with all the tools you need, bitch, and if you ever need anymore, I'm always here. But I always feel like you feel like you can't do it without me, but you can. Like, you're so much stronger than you realize. My job is not to get to make you into me. It's to literally just wake you up. Like it's
Starting point is 00:56:42 and you do. Yeah, I just snap you out the fog. As we said earlier, like, you give us some tools. We're like, wait a second. Yeah. She's right. And this is what I can say. Yeah. Yeah, when people say I wish I had your confidence, I wish I had your strength, you do. You just to give yourself the permission to use it and to access it because everybody has it. You just need to tell yourself it's okay if I wield it if someone deserves it. You absolutely have every right to do that. And that's why I always sell people. So I think that's something that you do for people in the gaming industry too.
Starting point is 00:57:11 You empower them. You make them want to keep trying, keep going because it is hard, man, especially, oh my God, I can't even imagine. In gaming, it's bad enough on my end. There was a point in time where I wasn't like, it was getting exhausting. Maybe like three years ago, like prior to COVID and Among Us actually brought so many people into gaming. And it was beautiful at that point. In my opinion, that was like the peak of gaming. It was probably like 50, 50 guys and girls, like such variety in the audience, which I loved.
Starting point is 00:57:43 Yeah. And at that point, I was kind of like, wow, like there are so many female streamers, everything. like it's beautiful and that's why now I'm actually because you know that was like two years ago I think it has diversified again into like way better demographics on TikTok or YouTube Twitch has now kind of gone almost backwards into being again a hub for like male dominated the people who are like really really sticky with gaming not so much casual gamers yeah so now I'm actually like looking forward to diversifying yeah doing TikTok more and more vlogs because I also, I love, I just love girls.
Starting point is 00:58:20 I love variety in a demo. Yeah. And being in a male dominated space, it's okay to push through if that's what you really want to do. Yeah. But I feel like I'm kind of just like evolving, growing out of it a little bit. Well, to be honest, babe, you conquered it. You know what I mean, you did what you needed to do.
Starting point is 00:58:38 You came and you saw you conquered. Kind of. Sometimes like, it's stuff I'm like, I've been there, done that. Yeah. Even if people say, I'm like, okay. Yeah, exactly. No, exactly. It's one of those things where you're doing.
Starting point is 00:58:47 just you're just evolving you're growing you're in the next phase of your life which is a beautiful thing i love ticot that's that's where i have like my highest female demo and like the fact that you can have such a large platform makes me so happy and that it's like majority women we're like yes yeah my that makes me have so happy if i think about my demographics on ticot i think it's like 964 yeah when we're talking about envy that's what i'm envious i love that shit i know when i posted it once someone was like how do you do this like i had i had i had i had i had other female creators message me and be like, how do you get this demographic?
Starting point is 00:59:22 I'm sick of having so many men on my page, and I'm like, oh, it's simple. Make them hate you. Nothing will clean up that demo quite like that, babe. Just make them hate you. And then all you have is all the good ones that are there, the good men or even trans men. My non-binary friends are obviously not included in my demographics,
Starting point is 00:59:39 but it's like 96% female identifying people. And I was like, that's what I'm talking about. Also, because I feel like minorities are like, they're so fun. They're great. And how are you going to treat these people so terribly in our industry gets me so riled up? Like, sometimes I feel like I get to the point where I cannot stand it anymore. Like, I cannot. That's natural.
Starting point is 01:00:02 That's because you know what? You know what I always tell people when they tell me they get very worked up about that stuff? Because it's natural to feel that way. I always tell them it's because you're a good person. That's why makes you a good person because you're empathetic and you're open and it upsets you to see. even more that I could do. You're doing a lot, babe, already. But I want to thank
Starting point is 01:00:21 Pokemon for coming on to the wonderful series finale of season two. Congratulations. Thank you so much. 40 episodes. Starting point is 01:01:02 For real. Don't let them win. That's how I see it. Get a little competitive. Just a little. Loser Johnny from Massachusetts, who's literally 13, stop you from doing what you want. No. No, do not.
Starting point is 01:01:14 He doesn't deserve that. Exactly. Absolutely. Thank you, I adore you. Thank you for having me. I adore you so much. Is there anything else you want to promote? Honestly, as I said, I am really, like I'm trying to transition to doing other things.
