Hey, everyone and welcome back to another episode of the comment section show,
starring me, your favorite.
Everybody knows me who cares about me.
On to the guest.
Today we have for our next installment of the spooky season,
the one, the only, the hilarious, the iconically talented,
Juju Green, aka Straw Hat Goofy.
Hi, guys.
How's it going?
Hello, I care about you.
Oh, thank you.
Like very much.
Thank you, because nobody here does.
As she said, she got family, sisters.
None of the people behind this camera care.
Nobody here.
It's just us.
All we need is each other right here.
Exactly.
We're good.
This episode is presented to you by eBay.
Tell me if I'm alone here.
But shopping used to feel more fun before all of the algorithm fed blah in the endless sea of dupes.
But I have a confession.
I've found that fun feeling again.
On eBay, it's not mindless scrolling.
It's a fashion pursuit.
And when you score that rare sneaker or the bag you've been manifesting, it's a rush.
eBay has millions of pre-loved
finds from hundreds of brands backed by eBay authenticity guarantee.
eBay, things people love.
A fish and a burger.
A fish in a burger.
Who would have thought?
Two best friends.
Hey, you just called yourself like the fish from, uh, from SpongeBob.
Yes.
I'm giving narrator.
Am I a crabby patty?
Wow.
Yes.
We didn't plan that.
Yes.
You did not plan this at all.
Listen, I'm out of nobody's funge bob because that's basic.
Yeah, we went.
Exactly.
Who also go with SpongeBob?
We went with like niche.
concept costumes. Exactly. It's the my leg guy. Yeah, exactly. You go with Mrs. Puff. Right.
You know, you go, oh, the chocolate, the chocolate like this. Yeah. My favorite side character would be
the guy who's like, my diet, Dr. Kel, that guy. He stole me because I can't eat without a drink.
Yeah. So I too would berate the pizza worker if you forgot my big drink. Honestly, fair. This is like
before DoorDash was a thing. Right. It's like, bro, I called you. You said you go order.
There's a storm outside. It took them legit like two days to get to.
Like I would be pissed off too
Exactly
All that you forget my drink
Exactly exactly
All that hoopla for nothing
Anyways
I am happy to have you on the show
Thank you so much for coming here
You and I
We go way back
We go like like
It feels like the beginning
Of like TikTok as we know it
I know like we were in the same wave
I feel like
And I like that same like draft class
Yeah exactly
You and I both went round one
I think so yeah round one
I think like you went like one
I feel like I'm like 12
Like, you know, I feel like, I'm like, you know, I'm tripping.
Listen, 12 is good.
12 is good.
I think Kobe was like 13.
I know.
Now we're senior like, I guess have seniority.
I think so.
We're seeing your citizens, honestly, on TikTok.
I was thinking a little bit.
I've been called unc many a time.
You and me both.
I'm sick of it.
Honestly, I don't mind.
Like my hairline's starting to recede.
Like, I'm sorry.
I don't think so.
I mean, I'm just so conscious about it.
That's, well, my daughter basically calls it out.
She's terrified of me being bald.
Like every time I get a haircut, she's like, no.
No, don't do it.
And I'm like, why do you think that?
She says, because you're already kind of bald.
She's like, I can see it.
Obviously, I have eyes.
Because you're looking for my chest up.
You can't see the rest.
You don't know what's going on back there.
You're too small.
So I'm just like, I'm just embracing it preemptively before it gets like real bad.
Honestly, I call it power bald.
Like my man obviously has really long hair, but he told me like the second it starts
to wean even a little bicking the whole head.
Hey.
And then he's going to grow the beard longer.
That's what I was going to do.
Yeah.
So if I shape this, this is about to go crazy.
Yeah.
And my dad's bald.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, you're good.
I've got permission from all bald people.
Okay.
You guys are setting like family precedents.
Yeah, my dad's bald.
He was like over it.
Don't need it anymore.
Yeah.
My dad's ball too.
Ball as hell.
Exactly.
And bald dads are great dads.
My dad was in prison for my whole life.
So it's fine.
Well.
You're still, I'm sure you would have been a great dad.
And will be great dad sometimes.
Exactly.
He's great now.
Okay, perfect. He's really great. He's awesome. I love that. Yeah, loved it.
But thankfully, you're not bald yet. I think you got a great hairline still.
As long as I'm not like Tyler Perry's definition of like a black man in America, because they're always mean, they're always bald, and they're always dark skin.
So I feel like I'm fighting against the Tyler Perry stereotype.
You're all, hang on just a little bit longer.
Just a little bit longer. My niceness goes away with the hairline, apparently.
Well, speaking of our senior class, when we're.
We were drafted many a year ago.
You've been very busy.
I've been very busy.
I feel like I've been busy.
The movie guy.
Everyone's favorite movie guy.
Well, I don't know about everyone's favorite.
But like, hopefully I'm like enough people's movie guy.
Absolutely.
They're doing a lot and working really hard.
Yeah.
Cement this because you know social media is fleeting.
Like it always feels like it's going to go away the TikTok.
We have how many scares now?
I know for real.
I lost count at this point.
I lost count.
To be honest.
Every day it's like it's going to be deleted tomorrow.
And at this point I'm like, all right.
Yeah, at this point, I'm like, just do it already.
Just do it.
Quit edging me.
Please.
And I don't like to be edged.
I don't like, well, I mean, I mean, sometimes.
But like in this sense, I'm like, please, just stop.
We've been edging for like a good while.
And so with that in mind, I've always just kind of like tried to separate myself from like, you know, just being TikTok.
Because I still love TikTok.
Totally.
I still love making TikToks.
It's just like, you know, how do I expand?
Yeah.
And so I've been working.
How do I diversify?
And you've done really well at doing that.
Like with the podcast, your fucking book.
Like, come on.
Like, I feel like like you've transcended what social media can be, right?
Like, and what social media personality.
I feel like, I feel the same about you.
You know, it's so like, how do you feel like, because I don't want to interview on your own podcast.
No, it's okay.
How do you feel like being where you're at now?
Do you feel like you've transcended?
Like, are you like in the, or do you just feel like normal and you're just trying to maintain?
I feel at this point in my career, I feel like I'm in purgatory.
I'm in like a middle area.
Yeah. So like I'm not quite like, oh, that girl on TikTok, I'm a little bit past that now.
But we're, you've been to just as many awards shows as I've been to.
Right.
We're not quite there.
That's, we've been to quite a few events like premieres, all that stuff.
And you know, like when you go there, of course they invite us because people watch us.
Yeah, yeah.
But then when you get in those rooms with higher level talent, or just the help.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's when you get the rude awakening of just kind of like people, you guys who watch me on your phones think like, I, we're,
Like yeah exactly right but then when you're like standing face to face with someone like
Leonardo DiCaprio or the rock and they have no idea who you are what you do or where you come
from you're just kind of like okay that's where I am yeah you're like right there in the middle
there's levels to this yeah and that weird spot yeah but i feel like you know we can appreciate
the levels i if that makes sense i agree i feel like what there's categories of like totally
of things like you may not watch sports but that still doesn't mean someone like a kevin durant is not
like the highest performing guy there.
Right. Exactly.
So I feel like in our kind of like stratosphere, you can consider us the top dogs and there
are people who really just only consume content from that stratosphere.
And that's really cool.
But when it comes to like intermingling, like you say, like being the help in certain
situations, there's levels to this.
It's true.
And it's also like it's driven by ego more than anything in my opinion.
Oh, 100%.
We've been in enough rooms now to know like that's more ego than anything.
Because obviously there's a reason why we're in the room.
But I joke all the time because I say like honestly like high high high level talent like what you would consider your average celebrity.
Right.
They're actually more oftentimes than not a lot nicer in my opinion than like reality star people.
Yeah.
Reality star people like we're in different buckets, right?
Like we're social people.
There's reality star people.
There's like actual a level talent.
Yeah.
And then we're all kind of mixed in between in these rooms.
And I was like the only people that have ever been rude to me like in my.
like in my experience thus far have been reality stars like because they think they're more famous than us
and and I think we're the same if we're being real like I feel like we're on the same level yeah I feel like that
too because I feel like we're all just living in a reality right we're like we're all putting our lives
online right right but I think like there is a level of just kind of like once you get that taste of
fame it's like what are you going to do with it right like who are you going to become once you get that
little taste. Some people will hit like 10,000 followers on Instagram and say like, I'm an influencer. Can you
call me my meal? And it's like, wait a minute. Who are you? Like, I'm sorry. Like what? Like, you know,
and they somehow there's like a delusion of like, oh, because of these 10K, I'm just as big as hooda or
just as big as Duane. Like you should know who I am. They're like, what? I had that one viral video.
So of course you've seen it. Right. And for me, I've, I've always tried to stay grounded when I like, I, like,
I know where I come from.
Same.
Like I know I'm just a guy who just puts out like fun movie videos.
I'm just same off the top of the dome.
It's really not that deep for me.
So like whenever I hear people be like, oh, you think you're so much bigger than what you are.
I'm like I really not.
My self-esteem is so low.
I never do.
Never.
Trust me.
I well and also too like sometimes when, because we've worked carpets like you and I,
sometimes when I work carpets like, you know, like stars are online like us.
Like they're on TikTok like us.
So they do have brain rot like we do.
Every now that you have that overlap.
Yeah.
And they're like,
my God, I love your stuff.
I think you're so funny.
I think you're so cool.
And sometimes when I'm, you know, when you work in those little press pits,
you sit in those little pig pens and then you're like shoulder to shoulder with
everybody.
And so sometimes when, when a level talent will recognize me and they're like, oh my God,
I love your stuff.
And they walk away enough times it happens, people next to me will be like, what do you do?
What do you do?
Yeah.
I literally go honestly nothing interesting.
Like I literally tell them, I tell weiner jokes on the internet.
Like that's pretty much it.
You're really good at it.
That's the start and stop of it, to be honest.
I mean, when you're telling Wiener jokes,
and someone like LeBron James is like, fuck yeah, this girl right here.
They're like, I love this girl.
That's dope.
And that's honestly where the real magic happens.
I agree.
I think so.
Like, because I feel like we put like those like A list level talent on such a level that like it.
Own it all.

Monopoly is a trademark of Hasbro.
Hasbro is not a sponsor of this promotion.
Dehumanize them a little bit.
And I feel like the fact that they do like watch us
and they do get that brain rot and they acknowledge it.
That's where the true like humanization comes from.
I agree.
like, oh, we're all people just kind of like existing.
And it's more fun that way.
It's way more fun that way.
Like they really, I feel like they genuinely appreciate when you pop those bubbles for them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And you just talk to them like they're, I literally said.
I was like, I like talking to them like there's just some regular bitch on the street.
Right.
That's how I like talking to them because that's how I talk to everybody.
Yep.
I greet everybody the same.
Everybody has the same level of candor from me and fervor.
And I think that makes it more fun and interesting.
And that's what makes them more open to you.
I agree.
I think you're a great interviewer too.
So I feel like that's why they like into you as well.
Yeah, because I don't give a fuck.
Me either.
Like, I never care.
I don't give a damn.
I don't care about anything.
I just told the story for the first time online, and I'm going to tell it to you, like, because I'm going to hold on.
I'm going to hold on to this forever.
I out famous Pedro Pascal one time.
No way.
I did.
I did.
You cucked Pedro Pascal?
I kind of did.
Oh, I'm on my bucket list.
I want to cuck him so bad.
And I wasn't.
Let me know.
I wasn't.
Listen, Pedro.
Let me know if you remember this and let this happen.
All right.
But this was like a couple years ago, and it was at this after party that I snuck into for a
bearable weight of massive talent.
Okay, gee.
And my friend, I think you know her, Liv Piersaw.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, we were there together.
And she was just kind of like, I really want to meet Pedro.
Like, he's really cool.
But she's like, I don't know how to approach a famous person.
Right.
And I was like, I don't give a fuck.
Like, follow me.
I'll talk to him.
And then I'll just scoot you in there.
You are so friendly.
You're like so outgoing at those parties.
I see you work in those rooms.
Listen.
Yeah, I just dance.
That's all that's literally like I go in there.
I look for the dance floor and no alcohol either too.
Just all like vibes.
I know.
It's true.
You're purely off vibes.
That's how I live my life.
That's just how I like to get down.
So we go over there and like Pedro's like surrounded by a circle of people and like everyone
trying to get his photo and he's like super first.
Pedro's like one of the nicest.
Very nice.
Celebrities.
I've never seen him from afar.
I've never met him.
Yeah.
Real deal, real article in one of the nicest most genuine celebrities I've ever seen.
It's like almost he doesn't realize he's a celebrity still.
That's sweet. I love that.
So he's there.
He's got his hands like this.
He's just smiling at everyone the whole time.
He's taking everyone one by one, giving them their time.
And then finally this woman, she walks up to him and says, hey, my son's a really big fan of you.
He loves the Mandalorian.
He can he take a picture with you?
He goes, yeah, of course.
Like bring him over.
Yeah.
So like Pedro's here.
Kid is here.
I'm like in the middle watching this happen.
Yeah.
As the kid's crossing over, he like sees me out the corner of his eye, flips his shit.
Like, oh my God, you're strong.
How goofy?
Like, I love your movie.
And he runs from where.
he was going to me.
Oh my God, can I get a photo?
Like, I'm so happy that you did it.
And at this point, like, I'm looking at Pedro and Pedro's like got this eyebrow raised.
Like, what?
Like, what's happening?
Who is this?
Right.
And I'm like, you know what?
Let me work this situation to the best I can.
So I look at the kid and I say, of course you can take a photo with me.
Just go ahead and take a photo with Pedro first and then come back.
You know, do you want to get your fan first before?
Yeah, get you.
You can take a bro.
You can take a favorite.
Yeah.
We can share fans.
Right.
could be Eskimo brothers here.
And so he takes a photo with him, runs back to me, takes a photo, like, gives me a like
DAP of whatever walks away.
And then now it's just me, Pedro, my friend lived and maybe like a couple other people.
He like literally just kind of like scoots over to me like this and goes, I'm sorry,
who are you?
And I'm like, well, again, I just make videos.
Who me?
Yeah, like who me?
Like he probably just saw a couple of my Marvel videos and he likes him on TikTok.
And we really got to have a genuine conversation about movies, like the whole ecosystem of like
creators and movies.
stuff like that and then we party for the rest of the night with me him and tiffany hattish it was really
dope that's so deep yeah that's so funny i i recently went to um a party i got invited to like a party
and there was a lot a lot of famous people there and i took my girlfriend and we were like we were
hanging out having a good time and then uh but mind you like there was like the most famous people
i've seen in a while like in a house party setting and it was like uh Trevor noah was there like
Hershey was there. Like everyone, everyone who's anyone was there, which was cool. And I was sitting at
the table with my friend and we were talking. And then this girl came over and she was like,
I can't believe you're here. And she was like, oh my fucking God. Like she was like, literally,
she's like, I'm sorry. I have to freak out. I have to freak out for just a second. And I didn't,
I didn't know her at the, like, I didn't know who she was. Right. And I was like, oh,
girl, you can freak out whatever you, you do whatever you want. And then she was like,
I'm such a big fan. I followed you since 2021. Like she's like giving me all this.
rundown of my like history like she was like things that you forgot video i ever saw of you was this one
and i that's a video i didn't even remember i fucking did so i was like holy shit okay like a ground floor
fan period you are a day one a one yeah yeah for real and her and i were just keying about it and i was
like she goes i am so i'm i can go home like i'm so excited and she goes you're like the most
famous person in the world to me in this party and i said hey make sure you tell Trevor no of that
because he was sitting right next door go tell him that use that cash yeah go tell him like he's not
better than me. Can you say that again? Let's just do it over here. Yeah, do it a little bit closer to him.
Let him know. But I love shit like that. It's great. It's really fun and it is honestly a conversation
starter. Yeah, well, I would say for especially for other talent to see you and be like, yeah, what do you do?
Yeah. Because they're like, I feel like I should know you if someone freaks out like that about you.
And I think like it's it's a double edge sword because like that's like the neck, because I'm guessing this was in LA.
Like it's like a double edge sort of LA where it's like, oh, your people know.
you so I should know you like let's start a relationship because like you know you're you're someone
exactly and like you know I feel gross sometimes when that happens but a lot of times when like people
walk up to me and like you know they're showing me appreciation for what I do I go like oh wow like
you watch it like you know that and that's that's always like the goal right whenever we make things
I never got into this to like become like famous or well known like that I just wanted to put my
opinions out there I agree so I you know what I'm saying like that's literally like that's
Literally the bedrock of what we do is just, let's just put up what is on our minds right here.
Right.
It's never like to gain anything from it.
Right.
And so whenever like somebody does tell me, especially when it's like like a high level person that says like I fuck with your shit.
Yeah.
I'd be like really?
Like I just threw that shit out like on a whim just because like I don't have anybody else to talk about it with.
Right.
And I want to know like from you like who's like the biggest person.
Actually no, fuck that.
Who is the first person that like walked up to you and was like, oh my.
God like I am such a fan of what you do and you were just like you. Ooh well you answer first.
I would like to know the same thing for you if you have one. Yeah I do I do have one.
Please please and I'll never I'll never forget it. It was AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys.
It was it was the most random thing. I was so it was at my first ever red carpet. It was for
Duay Johnson funny we were talking about him. Oh love him yeah jungle cruise okay and it was at
Disneyland someplace that I used to work at so I'm kind of like already having all these emotions like
going back to a place that I used to work at like it's a whole full circle thing I'm seeing all my
co-workers and everything while also just trying to be out the way it's my first red carpet I don't want to
step on nobody's toes I'm just trying to stay out the way so in my friend tea I kept asking her like
am I doing all right am I looking good she goes yeah you're fine you're fine and out of nowhere I hear
someone just go straw hat goofy what the fuck was that and I thought I did something wrong
He said not my government name.
Oh my, no, I was like, oh, no, what?
Who's coming for me?
And I turn around and I just see AJ just like belining it towards me.
And for a minute, I'm thinking to myself, because he still looks like the bad boy, the group.
So I'm thinking like I'm about to get my ass kicked, like, honestly.
Like I thought I said something about a movie that somebody had beef with.
And he like comes up, gasping me up and says, AJ from the back street boys.
I wanted to just say, I love your shit.
Love what you do with the Marvel shit.
Every time something Marvel comes out, I just want to let you know I'm on that shit like first day.
And I'm just like, and then-
He's honestly so real for that because I lean on YouTube for those opinions.
Well, I appreciate that.
Yeah.
I was always like, well, I got to see what Strawhead says first.
Well, I really appreciate that.
Like, again, it's a double-edged sword for me because I'm just like, don't always lean into what I say.
Like, I don't want to be the end-all be-all of like the opinion on that.
Yeah.
Because then that creates like people who say, well, what makes him like the foremost voice on it?
Nothing at all.
Just the love of the game.
Yeah.
Just the love of the game, right? And so like I tell people, hey, get more.
multiple sources and then like that's why I love you. I love Jay Stubbs. I love Cinema Joe. Oh my God.
Kit Laser is like oh yeah. Yeah. And we're always like this is how I felt. I'm going to go watch their
videos and see if they felt the same thing. And we have similar taste. Yeah. That's why I said. J. Stobs too.
Like she always like. Yeah. And both of you guys and same with Cinema Joe too. I feel like brave. Sometimes
you guys don't say what everyone wants to say especially when you work in movies. Oh my. You have to be careful about reviews. But you also have to be honest. Yeah.
So that's what I fuck with with you guys especially is because you guys are still very honest.
Even if you're working with them, you're so very honest.
You have to be.
Yeah.
Like I need the integrity of the review.
Thank you.
That's why I appreciate y'all.
I'll tell you a story about me, that me and the cinema Joe like shared on a carpet one time.
It's a little bit of tea and I won't say names.
That's how much tea this is, right?
You know who you are.
But a certain movie came out on a certain platform and it didn't do well.
It was not a good movie.
I would just fly out to say it wasn't a good movie.
Now, this movie had multiple parts to it.
And in my review, I said, this movie feels like a rev-up, not a complete piece of work.
Yeah.
And I don't think I can fully say how I feel about this movie until the other piece of this work comes out.
Okay.
But that being said, here's what I felt about the movie.
And that's fair.
And it's fair, right?
So fast forward, I get invited by this service to be on the red carpet, ask some questions to a bunch of
talent for a bunch of different projects.
Yeah.
And for this particular project, I had the director of it and then the star of it.
Yeah.
As we get closer, I realized that the director was crossed out.
And I go, excuse me, why is this director crossed out?
And they told me, oh, they basically specifically requested that they do not talk to you.
Oh, my God.
And so I was like, okay.
So I saw the director.
They came out.
They talked to everybody else except for me and Cinema Joe.
two people who had very similar reviews on this project.
And we literally.
You bitched out.
Sorry.
Like, oh, okay, you're gonna put art out,
but don't like when it's critiqued.
And the thing is too is that like,
I like this director a lot.
I feel like they've made great work.
I felt like they've made terrible work.
I went to bat for a lot of work that I consider to be great.
And I've also like held them to the fire
and said like, this isn't necessarily the best thing you could have done.
Yeah.
And so, but what that told me is if you're truly tapped in online and you saw that review,
maybe you should have, like, tapped into how I feel about you personally.
Right.
Because if you would know that, again, I'm a big fan of what you do.
Yeah.
I think you are a, like, staple in the industry at this point.
I don't think you're never going to, I'm not going to take your job away from a bad review.
You know what I'm saying?
My one video is not going to unravel it.
It's not going to unravel it.
And like, at the end of the day, like, I know this is a passing project that there are fans of it.
So, like, you know, the fact that they were like, oh, yeah, we're not going to.
to talk to you and you and I remember explicitly explicitly and it was the moment where I saw the director
past Joe and I look at him and I like do my paper like this and he gives me the nice both of us and we're
just kind of like okay cool and that's you know like that's the cost of like integrity right like
sometimes directors who like got a little bit of a stick up their butt like they get really sensitive
which you should like you know it's your piece of work like you know yeah you can feel defensive but
I think like bitching out of an interview like that just on some mean girl shit because that's not that has
nothing to do with like you cannot like the review and you can still pretend yeah because what are the
odds you're going to be like why is your movie why was your movie so ass like probably low considering
the review I feel like even when you and and cinema jo for example when you're like not that big
of a fans of it like it's still a very kind review yeah like you're not like this movie fucking sucked
and that's a separation I agree it's professionalism right there's a decorum about it like
Hey, I didn't love this, but these are some aspects that I did like.
Exactly.
And I feel like people who try to, because we talk about ego, people who try to do what we do.
Right.
Like, I think they have this thing in their mind of like, if you're not like completely blasting a movie, you're not being honest.
Right.
If you're not talking shit on this movie, you're not being honest.
I saw Jay Soup talking about that the other day.
You know what I'm saying?
Like it's the era of hating everything or loving everything.
Or loving everything.
But there's no room for the in between.
Yeah.
And like, I'm a positive person.
Like, I'm not trying to.
sit out here and like hate shit right like i will i will like like call out a bad movie and say like
i have questions like why is this why is this why is this yeah i don't really like this now i do
realize that some of movies that i consider terrible people may love and i go into every review with that
in mind so i'm not going to shit on somebody and yuck there young right exactly and so like you're
not speaking to intellect of someone who does enjoy it right you're just like this wasn't my cup of tea
exactly which is a a fair movie review to be honest and some movie reviewers are way
fucking meaner than that. Oh my God. Like sometimes I just go like, did the director do something to you?
Yeah. It wasn't that bad. It wasn't that bad. Like and like I feel and like, you know, there's a place online.
It's an echo chamber and it's filled like a bunch of like horrible people where they come on and they just say this is like the most awful piece of shit I ever saw in my life. Like I'm dumber for watching it.

Painting.
Like, you know, it is funny to see somebody tear down a movie, but at the same time, like,
people make this.
Right.
People put a lot of, it's art.
It's art.
people put a lot of their time into making something like this and a lot of times like the result is not always their fault yeah right so like like there's there's people that I talk to in the industry and I will say names of these people yeah Ryan Coogler yeah told me straight up straight up he was like bro we're friends but like when I make some shit like I need you to tell me yeah if it's horrible I need you to tell me and I'm like well that's one being a professional with integrity does and too that's what a good friend would do right like like
Like just be like, hey, like, be honest.
I didn't like it.
And so we talk about him a little bit.
Tyreek is also one of those people because you saw the reviews for him and whatnot.
Yeah, yeah.
And I feel like Marlon and his kind of like reactions to the reviews and everything was just beautifully well said.
And like they take it in stripe.
And with the supreme understanding, which is kind of like not everything is going to be a hit.
But like, who knows, maybe even further down the line, there may be some appreciation for it.
Right.
And I remember, you know, I was hanging out with Tyreek right after I had seen the movie.
Yeah.
And, but this is before the movie had like it's why it released.
So he knows I've seen the movie.
Yeah.
And he's watched me for a while.
Yeah.
And he says that he loves that I'm very honest.
So he kind of keeps asking me, what did you think about the movie?
And I was just kind of like, do you want me to tell you right now?
And you want me to be real.
I can be, I can be real with you right now how I feel about the movie.
And he was just kind of actually, I just want to like save it for like when it actually like blows up and everything.
And, you know, movie comes out.
I give my review.
And it's not like, oh, this movie's like the best thing ever.
It's fair review.
And I saw your review.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's fair.
And, you know, we were texting, like, right after.
And, you know, we were just having, like, a normal conversation.
And, like, I said, like, the one thing that we could take away from this is that people love you, Tyreek, as a performer, as a person, like, this press tour that you've been on through this whole time.
Yeah.
People have attached themselves to you.
Yeah.
And, like, regardless of what people feel about this movie, your star power is, it's proven.
Yeah.
And I think that's like, and I think that's something that, like, we should hold on to, right?
Totally.
And he says something along the lines of.
I'm a team player.
This is bigger than me.
Right?
Like his ego isn't tied to how well a movie does or how great it is.
Yeah.
He's grateful for the experience.
I would be.
So, you know what I'm saying?
And so like, like, even with my opinions on his movie, he knows I'm going to keep
it real with him.
Yeah.
And he knows that at the end of the day, he's going to try his best to just make something
dope.
Absolutely.
So like with people like Ryan, people like Tyree or are in this industry and like they make
things and they don't take opinions personal.
those are the type of people that I feel like are like the cream of the crop absolutely I agree
and the ones who will last there will be longevity there exactly because they're not too proud to like
take constructive feedback I guess I would say not necessarily criticism because nobody enjoys criticism
but like I think restructure feedback is like yeah but there is something to be said though
about like a director passing you up specifically like that's purely ego yeah 100 so I'm like your
your ego is too big to even fucking fake it like come on dude what it
act like you've been there.
And the sad part about it is is that this director is going to eat.
They're going to keep getting jobs.
Yeah.
Right?
Like, but I just hope that they grow out of it.
That's all that's like all I can say.
Grow past that.
We're just grow past it because.
Because at this point, I'm just kind of like, man, you've made great things.
Like you've done, you've had a really great career up to this point.
I would have thought you would have learned about that by now.
Yeah, like known at least.
And that's what the disappoint.
And that's what the disappoint.
To get a couple knocks.
Exactly.
And I'm like, that was the most disappointing thing about it, where it's just kind of like, I could either take it as he is that precious about his work.
Right.
And maybe that's just him riding and dying on his work.
Or that's just him being a big ass baby.
I'm leaning towards that.
I just literally cut like who I kept saying day, but now I said him.
So now everybody knows it's a heap.
So I just cut it in half.
Well, you know what?
I would say too, that does speak, though, to the power of you and like Cinema Joe's like platforms because they fucking see it.
Like it's, and it matters.
because a lot of people see it.
And that's why they get so fucking butt hurt about it
because a lot of people are going to see it.
But this actually leads to my next question
because I was going to ask you
how you felt about like this kind of polarization
of critiquing art where it's like you either
everyone has to love it and if you go against it,
you're fucked up in some way or everybody dog shits it.
And then if you like it or like something about it,
they're like, oh, okay, Dick Rider, okay.
Like I know that the movie scene,
on TikTok has been tainted with this like,
just complete lack of critical thinking
or like forming of your own personal opinion.
Like that's something I'm always thinking.
I'm like, I have my opinions,
but I want to go see what my favorite movie reviewers think too.
Yeah, it's always good to bounce off of each other.
Yeah, like I have my opinions.
I just want to know what they think.
And maybe they align, maybe they don't.
Yeah.
But I've already formed my own because I have my own brain
that critical thinks.
It's good for discussion.
Yeah.
Right.
And like I feel, and I definitely getting into that question.
I love this question.
It's one, it's TikTok, right?
Like, as you know, there's a spectrum of TikTok.
There's either supreme hate or supreme love.
Yeah.
And a lot of people don't have any room for in between and everyone's doing it for the clicks and everything.
But hate, unfortunately, on TikTok gets more.
It gets more views, right?
Even if you could, I could tell from a mile away when someone doesn't believe what they're saying,
or hating on it so hard.
I could just tell.
Like, and I, and I, back then, I used to like call it out and be like, bro, be genuine.
And they like regurgitate the same talking points.
The same talking points that they heard from everybody else, right?
That's why I always just like asking why.
Like when they say, when they give a critique, like very surface of like, oh, the pacing was bad.
How?
Yeah.
Right.
Like, I love asking, like, in what way?
Like, let's talk about it, right?
But like, I came up, like, you know, going to a movie theater and then afterwards, me and my friends will sit in front of the car and just talk about the movie.
Right.
Yeah, yeah.
And like, it is kind of fun that, you know, one didn't like the movie and then the other one did.
And you're like, oh, well, tell me why.
And it's like, it's cool when you're with your friends.
Because no matter how, like, it's cool.
contentious it may look like it's all love at the end of the day and like it's a
that's a really good comparison to you know what I'm saying but the internet is the
internet and like it's it becomes it's not two people like sitting outside
theater it's now like a million and everybody has something different to say yeah but in terms
of like aligning my opinion with other people or like feeling like I have to like you know
I've loved I've liked movies a lot like the flash I came out of the flash being like oh I
liked it a lot and obviously it was not received well at all
like at all and I'm cool with being alone right and that I'm cool with that because that's why I fuck
with your reviews you know you're like yeah you're standing on it I'm just like I'm just like
yeah I'm like and so and I have my personal reasons yeah and what I find is like it doesn't matter
a lot of the time what your personal reasons are as soon as they hear that you like something that
they hate wraps game over they're like you don't understand art you don't know how to analyze
you know what I'm saying and I've been very clear that everything that I watch and all my opinions
come from my own personal experience.
Right.
Like when I say like, I like the flash and I say like, hey, the father's son dynamic, like
the parental aspect of it, the emotional core of the story is what I gravitate to us because
I'm an emotional movie watcher.
Yeah.
That's what I mean by that.
Right.
You can't tell me I'm wrong.
Right.
Exactly.
I think that's the everyone's problem.
It's like everybody wants to be right.
Everybody wants to say you're wrong.
They want to tell you your opinion's wrong.
Yeah.
That's not how opinions work.
But you want to know the realty though.
It's jealousy.
Yeah.
It's 100% jealousy because.
Because talking about movies is something that everybody can do.
Yeah.
Right?
Like you can get on there and give your opinions and everything.
Yep.
And you're going to wonder why people are getting more opportunities that you want doing the same thing that you're doing.
Right.

Like, I remember somebody called me the Drake of movie TikTok one time.
That's fucked up.
called me the Drake movie ticket and he was wearing this ugly ass like bonnet and shit like it was like a
gangar bonnet and i was like i was like fucking gangar bonnet fuck you bro but um i wanted to dive into
that like what did he mean by that right and i this was like in the throats of like the drake and kendrick
like this and everything and so i was like what do you mean by the drake of movie tictock okay
drake is super popular right like worldwide i wouldn't say i'm worldwide popular but like i'm
pretty popular in comparison on ticot yeah and yeah and the movie sphere especially you know what i'm
saying and Drake is always accused of not fully being a part of black culture and therefore not being
a part of the hip hop like rap game like he fix it right he just takes from everything else and he just
kind of fakes it right and so I was like okay so the Drake of movie TikTok would be like someone who
is not like your typical film bro like I'm faking it or like I'm just a popular choice like I don't
know about real film which is a film bro way of thinking yeah like that's I was going to say that's
ironic it's very ironic because it's
Like, because it's like, I remember one dude made a comment that was like, oh, I bet you he only watches like the biggest 20 movies of the year.
Like he doesn't know anything about this like 1938 French film.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Like it's just kind of like.
And then the ones who go like, you didn't see this movie because it's not on your letterbox.
I use letterbox every day.
And I'm just kind of like.
Okay.
And you could just clearly tell that they're comparing themselves to me and wondering.
Why this is a projection.
This is all, and it's all a projection, right?
And it's always those opinions are very like, I hated it.
This is why.
And then they're like, it's nothing like this film.
And they'll bring up a fucking black and white silent film from wherever the fuck.
And you're like, that movie is ass because I don't like it because of this.
And then they're like, you don't get art.
You don't get people.
It's literally like the contrarian mentality.
I think that's exactly what it is.
It's like.
And because you're not like, I hate things that other people universally love.
All of a sudden, they're like, oh, Dick Ryder, you're just doing this because it's...
Or actually, I liked it.
Or actually I liked it.
Maybe I enjoyed the film.
Maybe I genuinely enjoy it.
Like, like, like, like, I have a lot of fun telling people that cars two is a, is not good.
Like, it's awful.
I have, I have, I have a lot of fun telling people that.
Listen, I think a majority of people would take that cars too.
Yeah, cars one banks.
Cars two, not very good.
Cars one is okay for me.
It's like, okay.
Like, like, like, like, like, yeah, Republican propaganda.
I don't really love it either.
I, I, I, and I, and I've been very.
clear about this I don't trust mater at all he's like as someone who grew up in
Compton a redneck like character for me did don't fuck with I never fuck with Hank from
King of the Hill I don't fuck with Mader I don't fuck with characters that just give me like
redneck and that's my opinion like it's just my personal upbringing I see that I'm just kind
like that's you know what's mine about that I don't like I don't care for Lion King
oh and people really fucking hate when I say that this is interesting yeah I don't hate you but like
I'm curious.
It's just not my favorite one.
I,
it's,
and here's why.
It's very,
it's very simple.
I can't relate to the animals.
Okay.
Like if I'm watching and like,
when you know when him and the second one,
when him,
or no,
is it the first one,
like,
frolicking.
Yeah,
fucking.
Is that the first one?
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
So when they're doing that and they're like,
oh my God,
how romantic.
You're like,
they're animals.
They're animals.
They're animals.
I can't be,
I'm not a big cat.
I can't relate to that.
I got a big cat.
Just kidding.
But I'm not a big cat.
I can't relate to that.
Literally when they made the live action one,
I went and saw it in theaters.
The only reason I did was because Beyonce was in it.
And I'm being so literal and very serious about that.
I'm being honest.

That is the only reason I saw it and I did not enjoy it
because again, I don't fuck with the animals like that.
I didn't enjoy it either.
I just don't.
I can't relate to them.
I get it.
I have trouble connecting to them.
Meanwhile,
I'm being strangely turned on by Nala's dumi eyes
that she gets Simba in that moment.
Well, it's like teenage Simba.
It was like teenage.
Women love teenage symbol.
The main, the way they did is main, like the hair.
And I saw why they make them look more human like because of the eyeballs.
It's the eyes.
It's eyes.
Yeah, I get it.
Women with those eyes like, Jesus Christ.
I know.
But that I get it when you're like, I have a lot of fun telling people cars too isn't good.
I do.
And it's nothing personal.
It's just like I will tell you why I don't like cars to.
Right.
And you could tell me why you do like cars too.
And I'm not going to fault you for that, right?
I'm just going to say my reasons for not like cars too is my reasons, right?
And and like people who just try to be like, oh, you're just trying to be different or you're just trying to, I'm just like, it's not a, what do I have to gain?
Right.
From doing that.
Right.
You also have a ton of opinions that align with the masses too.
You know?
Like a lot of really popular movies, you're like, I loved it.
Here's why.
It's not like you're going the opposite way every single time.
Exactly.
But when you like things that are universally loved, they're like, oh.
Oh, of course you do.
Yeah.
Have you been, there's this guy that's been popping up with my TikTok a lot recently.
And he does a lot of like the like skits where he talks directly to camera as like the guy in LA that you meet at a party.
Oh, yes, yes.
He is good.
And it's very painful to watch.
Yeah.
I've had many of experiences like that.
And it's like, oh, when you meet that film bro at the party, it's like, oh, you like the movie.
Why?
Oh, you don't know why.
Oh, wow.
It's like you like you like pizza, but you don't know the flavors, the texture.
You're like, oh, my God.
That is how it fucking feels.
And that's how it feels.
It's like.
That's why I was curious.
what your opinion was on but now that makes more sense i i think too with the hate thing that you
said like hate gets more clicks and views yeah especially when you hate things that are popular
and so people are like but then that's the thing too even if you grow that following if you just
hate every single thing that comes out you're still not going to get opportunity that you know
and that's gonna watch you there say it again like like and i'm not saying that like you need to
like more things to get opportunities just be a little bit more like kind about it
balanced.
A little more balanced.
And then when you explain your hate, like, I will watch a video where somebody explains
in depth why they don't like something and why it doesn't work for them.
Because I feel like whenever we watch movies, we learn a little bit more about not just ourselves
but each other.
Right.
So if you're telling me what you don't like about a movie in depth and the reasons why,
and you can say something like, oh, I can't relate to this bit because personally I grew up
with this and this and this and that.
I'm like, that's interesting.
I will watch that tear down of a movie because it's kind.
It's well thought out.
I feel like that's a very interesting way to come out.
Yeah, and it's not just like, I don't like it.
I don't like it.
It sucks.
Yeah, I didn't like this.
I agree.
I like watching very nuanced breakdowns of things.
These are the reasons why it didn't really work for me.
Right.
And I think to, like you said, you can still be, like have integrity in your reviews and
not be like a big push over for like studios and still get invited to things.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
Because they still want you there because you're still clocking the views.
I've, so that's all that matters.
Am I going to say this?
I'm going to say this right now.
Okay.
So I did a review for Five Nats of Freddy's.
I didn't think it was a good movie, right?
Colt following, too.
Colt following, right?
The FNAF fans, huge, right?
And I, like, you know, I see their fandom for FNAF the same way I see my fandom for One Piece.
Like, I'm a huge, like, cult follower for One Piece.
Right, right, right.
Please watch One Piece.
Anyway.
But I didn't give a good review for the Five Nats of Freddy's music, the first one.
But it wasn't like a terror.
down or nothing like that. I was just kind of like it seems like it'll be great for the fans.
I'm glad that the fans have it. Yeah. I just don't I just think it could have been more rated
R and you know, I just give the full run down. Universal asked me to host my first Hall
H panel at San Diego Comic-Con for five nights of Freddy's two for five nights of
Freddy's two. They said we can trust this one. We can we can trust him. And there was a
and there was a moment where I fucked up in the middle of this big panel, right? And mind you,
Like, Hall H sits 6,500 people.
Damn.
All of them FNAF fans, right?
Hardcore FNAF fans.
And I'm talking to the whole cast of season two, and everybody's, like, really great and
everything.
And I'm not going to sit up here and pretend that, like, I'm, like, the biggest fan or whatever.
But I am going to say, like, what you guys do for these fans, like, it's amazing.
It's incredible.
Like, the animatronic work is, like, really dope.
This is and that.
So in the middle of this, I say, like, they give me a question because they give you
questions as well as, like, questions of your own.
Yeah.
And they give me a question to ask, which is, like, if you could walk through San Diego Comic-Con,
in a animatronic of costume as a disguise, who would it be?
And they all give these really great answers.
Some of them are like, the crowd is cheering for some of the answers.
And I think this is like a really good question.
Yeah.
And then Josh Hutchinson looks at me and says,
which one would you choose, did you do you?
I don't know the names of nobody.
Literally me.
In this movie, I just know Freddie.
I know Cupcake and Chica.
That's it.
Yeah.
They've already said Freddie Cupcake and Cheetah.
Well, I too would pick Freddie.
I literally said, I got Maine.
character energy so I'm gonna go with Freddie and everyone clapped and everyone did the thing and I was just like oh shit you got to see quick on your feet next question yeah yeah
question but I've been in those I've been in those exact situations before and I'm like what's my favorite part oh god where do I start but let's talk about this though because like I think I think because we see interviewers and moderators they go into these spaces like red carpets and junk stuff unprepared yeah right we've seen like it seems like and I feel like this is just the internet just giving us that on the for you page or whatever but we seem like like
almost a rise of interviewers who are ill-equipped to interview.
And a lot of it you could just tell it's just no research.
Right.
Like you saw what happened to a baby face at the grandmas.
Right?
Yes, I did.
And I was at the Grammys too.
And I was like, Babyface, I would have never done that too.
Never.
I also beat Babyface in Uno.
Oh, what?
At a Questlove Game Night Party.
I worked his shit in Uno.
Flexion shit.
Sorry.
His shit, Drew.
Him and Rachel Ziegler.
Dogged both of them.
Sorry.
Oh, shit.
Okay.
All right.
That beats my Pedro.
stories like for how good is it that we have these stories to tell it's kind of it's kind of insane yeah no when
i'm in there i'm like what the fuck am i doing what am i doing here i got behind enemy lines guys
i'm approaching in this industry just trying not to get caught right exactly i'm saying one step ahead
but uh but like yeah the rise of with the rise of like ill-equip and like common sense and things
of that sort and even if i don't know something i'm still going to like study the fuck out of it
me too i'm going to do all the research like like days before same so i know at least enough to like have
the conversation. When I started working in advertising, like the first thing I learned in
like my first like couple months was you're going to get brands that you're not interested in.
It's your job to find something that interests you. So that way you can sell that to other people.
And so with Five Nights of Freddy's, I was like, okay, I didn't like the movie. I know Universal
saw that I didn't like the movie. But how can I interest myself in five minutes? How can I get
myself excited for Five Nights Fridays too? Absolutely. I literally studied like Matt Pat
videos and my Twitch streamers who will play the game and I like fully dove into the lore like
the what fans were saying on Reddit and so by that time I got on that panel I was very well prepared
yeah except for that like which animatronic would I like except for the superficial thing like names
I was not prepared for that I was so deep I forgot the surface that was and that was the crazy thing
that's why I said you went so far deep you I forgot fucking names and so like what I appreciate about
you is that like like before knowing you I didn't know how much you knew about movies or how much
about like celebrity, pop culture in general.
Right.
But I always, whenever I would see you interview somebody, you interact with somebody,
I can always tell you we're prepared.
Thank you.
And so, like, I feel like preparation in this business is like everything.
And I feel like we just don't have a lot.
Or at least we're not seeing a lot of it right now.
I agree.
And I think, too, like to your point about like ill-equipped people, like people who aren't
just not good interviewers, you know, this always happens, especially when we're on
carpets where it's like this conversation of like, why the fuck are influencers interviewing
people.
Yeah.
Which, like, I think there is validity to that argument.
It depends on who you ask.
You can't just get anybody.
Right.
Exactly.
Like just because it's like it works the same way just because you have a million followers.
A million plus followers doesn't mean you can talk to people.
Just because you can talk to people doesn't mean you can make it clipy and funny for TikTok.
So it's like it's a very, you know, like squares and rectangle situation to me.
Especially because I do have a journalism degree.
Right.
So I did learn how to interview literally.
So I do have the literal qualifications to be an interviewer.
Communications, baby.
That being said, though, I don't think you.
need those like fucking badges in order to do it.
I really do think a huge part of it is being personable.
Like being, I was like the ability to like having a degree, having the, the
training is cool.
Um, but that's not going to guarantee you don't eat shit on carpets or you don't
offend people or you don't like, I've had my share.
Right.
But it's just, it's just there's no guarantee either way because the ability to read a room is
like far more important in these rooms than it would be for that.
Like it's the ability to like it's the ability to like it's.
yourself to someone for 15 seconds and get something worth putting. Yeah. That's a skill. I was like that
and that's something that comes. I think it's like naturally to people and also like honed over time.
Like people skills, right? Yeah. Not everybody has them. That's why sometimes you'll see influencers that are
terrible interviewers. Sometimes you'll see actual journalists as terrible interview. Yeah.
Because a lot of journalists, right. They don't interview. That's very different. Yeah.
On carpets and in front of cameras. Right. And it's like you said, it's like being in front of people and like being able to feel
the energy of the person in front of you and like matching that energy and not everybody can match that
exactly you know like there's this uh there's this one interviewer who got into some hot water and he's
been doing it for like ever like he's so big to the point where he gets cameos and like shows as himself
yeah that's how good he is but uh he recently got some hot water when he had that interview with a chase
infinity okay when he it was mind you this is her first feature length film like ever it's like it's
in la i don't know if is her first record record but she's just in the moment like
Like it's crazy.
And he's a seasoned interviewer and he asks her straight up, what is it like to call Leonardo DiCaprio daddy?
And it's like, you know?
What kind of fucking question is that?
And I'm like, you've been doing this for a while.
Like for a good while.
And not one part of your brain was like, that's inappropriate.
That's inappropriate.
Not one part, huh?
And like, you're so right though.
Look at Juliana Rancic when she said that shit about Zendaya at the Oscars.
You know, a trained interviewer, someone who has a master's in journalism.
And I think that goes to what you're saying.
And like, it doesn't matter like how much you study for it, what your degree is in.
Like it doesn't always guarantee that you're not going to eat shit.
Right.
Or do something awful that's, that lives forever.
Which is why I think, but I did, I did think of this recently when you were talking about the five nights, five nights at Freddy's thing.
A few years ago, I did something for only murders.
Okay.
Did you watch only murders?
Well, I went, okay, here's the thing.
I went to the premiere of season two.
I watched the first two episodes outside of that.
I didn't even watch season one.
And that's not, it's not because I hate the show.
I don't watch anything new ever really.
So I get it.
I'm like,
I'm like what Chris Fleming calls a culture scavenger.
Like after everybody's done with it, I go and I rummaged to the garbage.
And then I go and I look and I'm like, yes, yes, I'm going to look at it now.
Like that is really how I watch it.
I do that a lot too. Wow.
With TV anyway, I do that a lot with TV.
With TV, especially I do it.
So I'm like, I did the premiere.
I went and watched it.
I took my mom and sister.
fun because they loved the show.
Yeah.
Fast forward like a year later.
I get invited to do something for Hulu for this show, but it's like an after show and
it's being taped by Hulu.
Oh.
And they were like, it's for season three.
I said three because in my head I was like, I just went to two and like that was like that
was a year ago and they were like, they said, oh, okay, we're going to send you the first
three episodes of season three.
But it's like an after show where like I have to know a lot about, like I have to
know all the details of everything.
And I was like, holy fuck.
I have to watch two seasons.
of a show.
How long did you have until?
I had like three days.
Oh.
So then of course I left it till the last day.
And then I was like, I can do it.
It's fine.
I went to college.
I can easily do this.
And then I put on two XB.
Yeah.
I put it on season one, episode one.
I'm watching 45 minutes in.
I fall asleep.
I wake up at two in the morning.
I said, holy fuck.
I have to get up at six.
Oh no.
And so then what I did was I went on Wikipedia and I read the summaries for every single
episode.
And then I watched the first three episodes of season three.
and I said, got it.
Got it.
Done.
Studied up, I'm good to go.
And everything else, I'll fill with jokes.
Perfect.
Okay, okay.
And so I went completely prepared because I was like, got it, got it, got it.
I like had everything.
I like wrote down names.
Right.
I was like taking notes.
I was like, okay, perfect.
This is good.
And it's supposed to be like fun.
Yeah.
Like it's supposed to be like a fun little like, what would you do?
Don't take it too serious.
Yeah.
Like, and that's another thing.
Think Verizon is expensive.
Think again.
Anyone can bring their AT&T or T-Mobile bill to a Verizon store today and we'll give you a better deal.
So bring us your bill.
Walk in, running, Pogo stick in, teleport if you can.
Ride on the back of a rollerblading yak or flying on the wings of a majestic falcon.
Any way you can, bring your AT&T or T-Mobile bill to a Verizon store today,
and we'll give you a better deal on the best network.
Based on Route Metrics, Best Overall Mobile Network Performance, U.S. second half, 2025,
all right preserved, must provide a very recent post-paid consumer mobile bill
in the name of the person redeeming the deal, additional terms, conditions, and restrictions apply.
We're not saving the world.
No, for real.
This is such a made-up job, you know, that I'm like, it's okay.
It'll be fine.
Like, you know, even, I feel like even if you weren't like a fan in any capacity, right?
And you just went on YouTube and watched like the recaps of seasons.
Right.
And then like go on the Wikipedia pages or even just like, oh, what are the most iconic moments that people talk about?
Right.
And you could just go in there and be like, yo, this was a lot of fun.
Let's talk about this.
Yeah.
And I was like, and you know what?
I did love this part.
Yeah.
And I was being genuine.
Yep.
Because I studied up.
I made sure.
And that's good.
That's some good stuff right there.
Okay.
We're going to hard pivot a little bit.
Oh, I love hard.
fun facts. I have some fun facts about you. Oh, I got fun facts. Okay. This first one says before
reviewing movies, Juju worked as a copywriter at an ad agency, which you just said,
how did you like that job? I love that job. Yeah. It was so great. It had his hard days because,
you know, it's still corporate America. And as a creative, there's so, it sucks when there's so
many rungs of like approvals to get through like you see ads all the time and you ask yourself like
how did it get through this many hands of approval that's real you're like it goes through a certain
about the hands and then like the message gets jumbled along the way right it's just it could get very
disheartening right so when you saw that sidney swiny thing you said listen listen listen I know where
I know where it went went south there needs to be someone in the room to say something there needs to be
someone in the room to say to you know what I'll see too and this applies to both of us on
bits. That's also another reason why you need more people of color. Yes. You need more
diversity in interviewers because they will not offend people of color. Yes.
Because we get it. Honestly, when they see people of color or bad, they're more excited.
They're like, yo, they're like, yeah, let's go, let's talk. That's so true. Brother, like,
I met the video of you dapping up Ryan Coogler at Wakonda 2 was at the premiere, the second
Wakanda one. Yeah, that was the second one.
T. And listen, I just wanted to tell him straight up like, hey man, I just appreciate everything that you do.
And like he didn't know me in the moment.
Like it took maybe like 20 seconds to like figure it out that you watch me already.
Yeah.
But he would just kind of like, oh yeah, fuck yeah, bro.
Like shoot, what's your name?
Where are you from?
And we're just chopping it up.
And I knew that's because we were brothers.
Like, you know, I knew that that got me into that situation.
Me and the Rock.
You know, oh my God.
That's like I said, that's why I said, me with the Rock.
I'm just, he saw that.
He saw your task.
He said, yeah.
He said, what's your last name?
I said, yeah.
My brother in Christ.
How are you?
Nice to meet you.
And that and that's really cool.
but like go back to like the advertising thing like I love that job like it I went to school for that job
yeah I went to school for advertising and it was a long roundabout way to get there but once I was there
like the people that I worked with was amazing uh I started working there when my daughter was born
so every year Mark there was like around the same time as my daughter's birthday so like I have a very like
fond memory of that place yeah and then super duper fun fact is that once I left just recently this year
they asked me to come back
to like do a commercial with them.
Oh my God, how's cute.
So I did a commercial playing myself.
That's so fun.
So that was actually really cool.
That's so deep.
Yeah.
I love that.
That's so fun.
Yeah, that was cool.
The NFL has not asked me to do anything.
They're mad at me.
Really?
They fired me.
Well, that was the job I had before I started doing this.
Okay.
Then I got fired RIP.
Oh my God.
But I did do, and I'll say this because fuck it.
What are they going to do?
What are they going to do?
NFL?
Me getting afraid.
What are they going to do?
Red Dot on my forehead already.
Well, I went to Pro Bowl like, I think three years ago, two, three years ago.
What was interesting, though, is like I went through META, which I love.
I loved working with META.
They were wonderful.
And we were going to Pro Bowl, but they invited me and my man, like, individually, which I
thought was nice because you couldn't bring plus one.
So I was like, OK, T, we can go together.
And then it was like kind of dragging, like giving me the information.
And then my manager called me and was like, yeah,
So here's the thing.
They're like nervous about me being there because I've talked about being fired from there.
Oh.
And I was like, well, what am I going to do?
Right.
Like go live.
I'm not going to tear this whole place down.
Go live and be like, these are the people that fired me.
Like, what am I going to do?
You're the NFL.
Yeah.
What are you going to happen?
It's fine.
It's literally fine.
I mean, if anybody had the power to tear down the NFL.
Listen.
It will be Drew a while.
I'm working on it.
I'm going on the inside.
This is why they got nervous.
This is why they got nervous.
And they literally just, they expressly,
like said they didn't like how I was describing leaving the NFL even though that is exactly
what happened to me yeah yeah so I'm like we like this true thing that you were yeah which is funny
because I went and and like we had a lot of fun it was like really cool I'm not gonna I'm not gonna
say anything doing relax and honestly that was when my manager told me I think it's really funny that
certain brands are are like afraid of me they're like a healthy dose of fear I think is good for
everyone to have of course yeah so yeah for real so that's why I'm
I thought it was funny when I pivoted to the NBA.
Like when the NBA asked me to be in the commercial last year,
I was like, fuck yeah.
Dude,
I'd love to do that with you.
Way better league.
Way better.
Way better sport.
But they're afraid of me.
So that's why they just don't really care for me talking about being fired,
even though that's what happened to me.
I think it would be more embarrassing if I said like, oh, I chose to leave.
And then they were like, no, we didn't.
We fired that bitch.
That would be funny.
Honestly, then you would have been like, well, let's tell the full story then.
I was just trying to be nice.
I was just trying to be cool.
I know one of my first videos I ever made before I started like really leaning into making fun of men.
Yeah.
I made one about like, because someone had made a funny skit of like, this is how it feels to be like in your mid-20s like pitching social ideas to older people.
Yeah.
That was my whole job at the NFL.
I'm sitting there dead ass in like nine to five like office attire.
Right.
I'm going, no, like ice in the veins is like it's funny.
Like kids are going to get it.
They'll get it.
They're just like, what does it mean?
See, here's.
Yeah.
They're like, I don't get it.
And I'm like, you're not supposed to get it.
And like, they're supposed to get it.
Yeah.
And I literally would explain like ice in the vein, like there.
I'm telling you right now, Lamar Jackson is really into it.
He's going to.
And that was like, I do that sometimes.
Hello.
It's such an athlete thing.
And I was like really trying to explain to them and they were like, they just weren't
having it.
And then I remember another one I was pitching forever was, um, Andy Reed, like the head coach
of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Yeah.
I was trying to do a thing where I made him the Lorax.
Like I was like, I want to Photoshop him looking like,
Lorex and you can make the Chiefs the trees and he protects the trees.
That's actually cool.
And like, I was like, me explaining that at 24.
Yeah.
To like a 50 year old woman.
I'm like, here's the thing.
You mean that animated movie?
Yeah, they're like the Lorax.
I'm like, yeah.
He looks like the Lorax.
Like that's the joke.
I'm actually, I don't know if I've ever told this story on here.
And I forgive me if I have, I repeat myself all the time.
Sorry, you try doing this for 200 episodes.
Anyways, there was one where the Chiefs won a big game.
This was like at the start of the start of.
of their fucking the tyranny that they've been holding and going to super.
Listen, I don't even watch football, but I've been enjoying that tyranny.
Yeah.
I like dynasties.
So, yeah.
So they, when this was like at the start of it, they had, they won a game, a really
important game.
And then Andy Reid was in a press conference after.
And they asked him, because I think it was like the, to go to the conference championship.
And they were like, what are you going to do?
Like, now that you won again, like, what are you going to do?
And he said, I'm going to go home and eat some Kalua pork.
That was it.
That was all he said.
Yeah.
And then he was like, thanks everyone.
And then he's known for saying silly weird shit like that.
I had to beg my boss to let me clip that and put it into a meme of some kind.
I'm going to go home, eat some Kalua pork.
That's gold.
She was literally like, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
I told her, it's funny.
Like people are going to laugh during that.
Yeah.
So I fought on the hill for that one stupid-ass quote.
I fought on the hill.
I won the battle, right?
I won the battle.
Yeah.
And that thing went viral.
That was one of the only things that went viral.
And I was like,
nobody listens to me.
Please tell me your petty bone came out on that one too.
Yeah.
And I was like, well, it's doing really well.
The post is doing very well.
He retweeted it.
So she was hate.
I was like the chief's account did retweet it.
So I bet you she was hating like a motherfucker too.
I bet you.
Oh, yeah, because she ended up firing me a couple months later.
That's what had.
That's how it happened.
Yeah.
Wow.
It was just a lot of shit like that.
Okay.
But it was just the most asinine way of me.
It felt like a humiliation ritual of me just being like,
if they had the jokes.
they have now on TikTok, I would have been terrorizing that office.
My God.
I would have been terrorized.
Did you see that guy that was like, Flo?
Flo?
Did you see that guy?
No.
Me, the only person in the universe watching that one is basically a guy teaching people like
agility and stuff, but it was like the silliest moves.
I'm not even kidding.
I would be terrorizing the NFL TikTok if I was working there still.
Honestly, you should.
Good thing they got rid of me.
I mean, it's a blessing.
They kicked me overboard.
You gave me PTSD because like I have a very similar story like working.
advertising and again i love everybody who was on that team it was a very stressful account it was
for team usa okay and it's during the uh olympics in tokyo okay right and so my i had this like
really dope idea and i still stand by this idea of being dope as shit was like okay we're in japan
yeah right athletes all love fucking anime yeah what if we really leaned into the whole anime
aspect of this whole like japanese this uh Tokyo olympics and so i said what if like you know
i don't know how much anime you watch but not a ton okay okay
My man watches a ton, though.
Okay.
Then he would, in anime, you've probably seen this.
Like, the openings and closings of animas are iconic.
Yeah.
Like, they get, like, a full production, separate animation style.
They get, like, actual big stars to sing the songs.
Like, it's a whole thing, right?
So the point where people will have rankings of their favorite openings and endings, right?
Now, I was proposing that for the opening and closing ceremonies,
we would have an animated, like, opening ceremony that was all animated, like, animated.
it.
14 USA.
Yeah.
And then at the closing
ceremonies,
we will have a closing as well.
That's so cool.
I was like,
we could create a whole song.
We can like tap this art.
And it's a bit you can carry
throughout the Olympics.
And we could carry throughout the Olympics.
Yeah.
And then I was like also like a big thing
with like the sports in general like the highlight reels.
If you miss a sport,
you actually see the highlight.
Yeah.
What if we got animate animators to animate the highlight reels of the day in an anime style.
Like yeah,
like make a whole thing.
And so they were just kind of like,
yeah,
but does anime?
Is it really?
popular like that? Do people really care about it?
They're like, key alert. And I'm just like,
please, God damn it. We will go down in
history. It's true. Because Bleacher report does it all the time now.
They do it all the time. Thank you for saying. Yeah, they ripped your bit.
They ripped a lot of people ripped my fucking bit. And
and when we ended up doing, it was like the super watered down version of it. We took
like highlights from the day and like they just basically put like LED
LED lights surrounding the people. That's even worse when they don't do it the right way.
Girl, don't just don't do it at all.
It was like a 90s skateboard like video.
Oh, not the same then.
And so I was just kind of like, listen, I'll make it happen because it's my job.
I'm like, y'all know where I want this to go.
Yeah.
Mind you, we also got an animator to do a Kevin Durant dunk in animation style.
And that shit looked fucking like straight out of Dragon Ball Z six shit.
And they were like, yeah, we're not really feeling this.
So after it was on.
So during the whole like the whole ceremony of like the Olympics,
athletes were coming out doing like iconic poses from.
anime characters and stuff like that.
And everybody's like like paying homage to anime.
Yeah.
And then like a bunch of brands was also coming out doing some anime stuff.
And I'm like, we could have kicked this off.
Nobody listens to me.
And then the pettyness and that's where you need to take your genius elsewhere.
That's how I thought.
That was like when I started to realize like yeah, y'all not listening.
Like y'all not, y'all don't want to hear me.
Y'all just want to dance.
Yeah.
That's so.
Wait, that actually reminds me when I was working at the NFL, this was right when the second.
What's the last one where Iron Man.
I forget the name of it.
Avengers Endgame.
Yeah, Endgame.
This was right when Endgame came out.
And there was like this wave of like there was like the first female referee,
the first like female like coordinator, like assistant coordinator, first female.
Like there was a lot of women in there.
And I see what this is going.
Yeah.
And I literally pitched.
I was like, let's do the the Marvel scene with all the women, but we'll put the faces of
these women.
I would have been so on them because I was supposed to target women.
Like that was my fucking job.
And they were telling me.
because it's like superheroes.
I don't know if everyone.
I said this was the biggest movie in the world.
Of all time.
Yeah.
And then you know,
and then I saw fucking Bleacher Report to it.
And I was like,
are you kidding me?
So they ripped off my bit too.
That's my point.
Fucking Bleacher Report.
They're watching us.
Fucking Bleacher Report.
There's cameras everywhere watching it.
I really did think I was like,
I have to go over there.
Because they're taking funny ideas and nobody wants to take my funny ideas.
Honestly,
kill over at Bleacher Report.
Just stand clear of Jack Matt.
And I even said this too.
in an interview.

price line recently that the NFL like I told them because TikTok was growing at the time I was
working there and I said you should start a TikTok like I think it's really important and they
straight up told me that's stupid because that app's not going to be around for much longer right
right and now every time I see a check a check mark next to the NFL TikTok I like swipe
sometimes I watch it don't even block them you just want the satisfaction of both it's like it's like it's like it's
like the equivalent of like a flip phone and like close it.
I want them to feel my swipe.
You want them to feel that swipe.
I want them to feel me skip them.
Okay, we'll go through more of these fun facts.
Oh, yes, please.
You also played high school varsity basketball.
I did.
What were you?
No, I wish.
I didn't have the handles for a point guard.
What were you?
I was a shooting guard, small forward combo.
Okay.
Yeah.
See fast. Love that.
Loved it.
It says your first feature film role is the voice of a gym teacher in the movie Ruby Gilman, Teenage Crackin.
Yeah.
So cute.
I remember you posting about that.
How was it doing voiceover work?
Honestly, it was a lot of fun.
It was a lot of it was one line, but it was like it was still the biggest blast that I've ever had.
Still though.
Because like you walk in and, you know, they have like the screen up there with like your character.
They give you like a little script.
They gave you a whole script, which is nice in them because it literally just had the one line.
For my keepsakes.
For my little keepsake.
I love that.
Yeah.
And, uh, you know, I just have to go in there and say one line maybe like 45 times and different ways.
Okay.
I was like, dang, this is like hard because I got to work on different inflections on
and intonation and all that, yeah.
And I didn't know which one they were going to pick, right?
So I was kind of like waiting to see the movie.
Like, oh, I wonder which one that they used.
And I like the one that they used.
Okay.
It's okay.
IMD credit regardless.
Hey.
And I wasn't setting out for that.
I was like, that's pretty cool that I actually got one.
But the cutest thing of the whole thing, though, is that whenever my daughter would see a billboard.
Yeah.
Because, you know, this was like a couple years ago.
So she's like around like five.
She will always go, that's the daddy movie.
Oh, cute.
She loved the movie.
And then one day I woke up and I woke up.
And sometimes on the weekend she has a habit of like waking up a couple hours before me.
And she'll be in the living room and she'll be watching TV or whatever.
And all I heard was my voice saying the line over and over and over again on a loop followed by laughter.
So it would just be like, he's a legend.
He's a legend.
So I thought that was like a really surreal moment that my daughter woke up to watch the movie and watch my one line.
I love that.
Do you think you want to do more voiceover work?
If somebody asked me, I would.
I think you would be great with voiceover work.
I think that's awesome.
Thank you.
Okay, this next one says you simultaneously worked at Disneyland,
Amazon, and went to college all at the same time.
How did you fucking know this?
I don't think I've ever talked about this like publicly.
Did we talk about this?
No.
No.
I have Nardwar on my team.
You got Nardwar.
Yeah.
Like, yes, I did.
Yeah.
I worked at Disneyland full time.
And then I really needed money because the relationship that I was in at the time,
like I was the only one who was able to get work.
And like I really wanted to like move out of my parents' house because I was about to have
my daughter.
Yeah.
And so I was like under the gun.
Like I was really under the gun.
And so crazy.
Two jobs and going to school.
And going to school.
Look at you super dad.
Yeah.
You know, I try.
Love that.
You know, it's my, it's the best title that I can wear.
Oh, I love that.
And like it all, it all led to like something good.
So yeah.
It was, what did Disneyland?
I worked in the stores.
Cute.
So, like, people say, like, retail is that, which it is.
Retail is, like, a horrible service job.
Nowhere near, like, the food industry.
Food service, yeah.
But Disney service, a whole other animal.
I was going to say, dude.
Whole other animal.
That feels like a whole category and lane of its own.
I'm terrible.
During the strike, when I couldn't talk about movies, I made quite a few videos just recounting
Disneyland stories.
And there's a lot that I can still tell.
Like, I got a lot in the bank.
Because people at Disneyland, who are we.
From the guests to the people who work there,
everybody's a character.
There's this one guy, I call him my nemesis.
His name is fucking Don.
Fuck Don, to the max.
Like, I will get on every soapbox and say,
fuck Don at Disneyland.
And I was so happy to find out that years later,
I also, like, talk shit to him when I arrived as a special guest.
I pulled up with my, like, hey, Don, yeah, you know,
I'm just here, like on Disney's Don, you know,
they put me up in the hotel, what up, Don.
You thought I wasn't going to be shit, Don.
Don, well, guess what?
Give me those toys over there.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
So, but I found out later, as I was making this video from my coworkers who discovered the video that he got fired.
Shit.
And not just fired, he got escorted by security.
Oh, my God.
All for the campus.
Now, it's one thing if you're a guest and you get escorted.
Right.
If you're a cast member in costume, getting escorted by security off, that's not a good luck.
Oh, God.
And I was, I was a grave.
You heard that you went.
If there was a grave, I'd be dancing on it.
If there was a grave, I'd be dancing on it.
For me, when things like that happen, when karma, like, really works out for me and I'm like, the universe doesn't play about me.
I knew it.
Whenever that happens, I'm like, God, play my walk-up song.
That's what that.
Go and blast my walk-up song.
Yeah.
Da-da-da-da-da-da.
But every tongue that rises against me shall fall.
Off with your tongue.
Yeah, well, yeah, fuck down.
But everybody else that I work with, though, like, super great.
Like, they're, like, honestly, the Disney family is, like, unlike any other.
I love.
I'm still close with a lot of those people.
And I love that you get, it is really.
It is really full circle that you work with Disney a lot and get to go back and stuff.
That's so fucking cool.
I hosted a live stream for their 100th anniversary on my birthday.
And while I was in advertising, I did pitch like the 100 Years of Wonder like mine.
So it all just kind of swirled into one thing.
That was a very emotional moment for me.
That's like universe.
Universe does not play about me.
Play my walk-up music.
Yeah, exactly.
Dude, Amanda, you're so stupid.
One of the facts on here says we once ran into you at California Adventure.
at the lamp light lounge.
Yeah.
That's a fact.
That is in fact a fun fact.
We did running to each other.
It was a great running.
It was a great running.
You had your old family.
I had my whole family.
I thought that was like,
it was the Avengers crossover that like nobody knew happen.
It's like the Rocky Apollo Creed fight where the movie ends and you don't know who won
the fight.
It was one of those.
That's very true.
I look very fondly.
Your mom was like, oh, I don't know if you remember.
I remember you mom.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like I'll remember.
And also, obviously, as you know, me and my sister are both creators.
You've been my brother's favorite creator for years.
Really?
Yeah.
I've been a creator for a long time.
Yeah.
No.
No, you're his favorite one.
He's always like.
Really?
I'm your brother's favorite creator?
Yeah.
My brother loves your, he loves your Marvel stuff and loves your movie reviews.
Oh, like that lit.
And that you love anime.
Because he loves anime, too.
Does he like one piece?
He does love one piece.
Can I ask you a question, though?
Yeah.
Would you classify Avatar the Last Airbender as an anime or no?
I would say anime inspired.
Okay.
I was saying anime inspired.
Because I think he told me the difference is that's going to piss me off because I was literally telling him it is.
And he's like, no, it's not.
Like my brother's still like, no, it's not.
It has to be made in Japan.
And I'm like, okay, well.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's where we get to like a slippery slope though because it's like it doesn't just have to be in Japan.
Like what if I made something animated in Japan and does that make it animate?
Hello.
Right.
So like that's a slippery slope to go on.
But I will say like it is it is made over here.
And it is like it's like, it's like, because then when we.
talk about this is Boondock's anime.
T.
Okay.
We're going to have to put that up into the conversation as well.
And that's an anime.
They have very anime like reactions and stuff too in Boondogs.
Everything about it.
Everything about it.
Like from the fighting to like the themes to everything.
It's very anime.
Okay.
T.
Yeah.
I feel better.
I'm going to rub that in my brother's face.
Yeah.
I think Afro Samurai and correct me if I'm wrong anime fans.
Like I'm not like that deep into it.
But I think Afro Samurai, the anime was inspired from a boondocks like moment.
T.
So.
Okay.
I do think Avatar.
the last airmener, I really do think that's one of the greatest shows ever made.
I think it's one of my favorite shows, regardless of animation or whatever.
Like, everything about it.
It's perfection.
I have no notes from start to end.
I remember watching it when I was a kid.
Yeah, I rewatched it recently.
Yeah.
Because I watched the entire thing with my brother.
And then my man had never seen it.
So we watched the entire thing, I think, earlier this year.
Oh my God.
I would move to tears on so many episodes.
I was so sad when we finished.
Bro, it is a sad fucking show.
It is.
It's so good.
Like it's so good.
Like I still say like Zucco has one of the best arcs.
Right.
And can I tell you something?
The fact that Katara and Eng got together in the end makes my ass itch.
Yeah.
I'll be so real.
That's the one actually.
That is.
Yeah, that is one of the one notes I do have actually is that was the wrong choice.
Okay.
Well, that should have been brother sister.
Are you?
We're an opposite side.
Now, I understand her and Zucco.
I do understand it.
But like the story that we were, I feel like in another universe.
Yes, that makes perfect sense.
That's too.
But I feel like for the story.
that we are given, like, I think Ang, he doesn't deserve guitar or nothing like that.
I just feel like they just had a better growth.
They need each other.
I feel like they've had a better growth.
And if someone who's like dating someone who's like older, I'm like, that's fine.
Like, it's cool.
Like I'm biased.
I'm a little biased.
I'm a little biased.
I'm a little biased.
I thought this way before me and my girlfriend got together.
But also like I've always saw my like, like, Aang is like me, right?
Like I'm always something like, I'm just the kid who just what's like the hot older girl.
So I'm going to ride for.
But Zuko does have one of the best character arcs ever.
He does.
He does.
The development of it is beautiful.
Yeah, man.
Perfect.
Love it.
Love me some Zucco.
Okay.
And then last fun one is that you used to work at, used to be a sales associate at Bath and Body Works.
How do you know this?
What?
I feel like you would, you would sling a candle like nobody's business.
I feel like you would kill sales at a Bath and Body Works.
I really do feel that way.
This was such a, I feel like you would kill in that job.
I did kill at that job.
Like you're correct.
I slank some of that.
I slang some, what was it called?
Midnight Wood.
Yeah.
That sounds very dirty.
But midnight wood lotion.
I was like, yo, this is like, yo man.
Yeah.
We're smelling good with this.
But it was actually a very shitty experience.
Like, and it was a very short-lived experience.
I bet.
Very shocked because I never talk about it.
You know what?
You conquered it too quickly probably.
They hate when you rise too quickly.
I think, well, maybe.
It was, I literally worked there for maybe like a month.
And it was like one of those like on-call jobs.
So they were like, don't make any plans because we can call you at any time.
Right, right, right.
And I only maybe worked like once or twice a week.
And I was, I mainly got the job because like, one, it was my first ever job.
And then two, Black Friday was coming up.
So I'm thinking I'm about to get like paid.
Yeah, yeah.
After Body Works during Black Friday, like time and a half.
Like we're about to be rolling in at it.
First job.
Hell yeah.
They didn't, they called me in for that Black Friday.
I worked two hours and they told me to go home, which I think is illegal.
Which I think it's illegal.
Looking back now, I think that's a legal.
Looking back now, I think that's a little.
legal. I think so. And I didn't know any better. I was just kind of like, okay, sure, I go home.
And again, I bet that job sucks though. I bet. I was on call for four years. I was still
logged in to the like system and I kept looking at my schedule. No job, no job, no job, no job.
And I've been waiting to get called in for four years. And I'm still waiting now. And I'm still, like, I'm still
waiting to this day. Watch them call you in now. That the body work. Because technically I'm still an employee
probably maybe but I did go in one day and like I was logged out finally but it was like four years
I'm already at Disneyland at this point I'm just like I forgot about this shit and so yeah it was
well I just feel like you could sell anything honestly well thank you it's all about like
charisma it's all about that charisma you know like I I go over the top in my service shop I just sing
songs and shit and do trivia and do bullshit like that and they eat that up and bath and body works
they eat they not not the employees but the no no but the customers but the customers love it yeah
You want me to sing your song about lotion?
Sure.
Oh, yeah, absolutely.
A bunch of older moms.
Yeah.
Oh.
Rozing.
That's your bread and body right there.
If I wasn't in a relationship, I would have cleaned up.
With the mom demographic.
It would have been real popular.
Would have been real popular with the moms.
Well, that brings us to the end of our amazing episode.
I was enjoying this.
It was.
It was so fun.
Time flies.
It really does.
I just, I know.
Like, I know you've done junkets when they say, like, oh, you have five minutes.
And they're like, you're like, you have five minutes.
Right.
like you ask like you get through half of the question and like it's up you're like oh shit oh god sorry
i'm a talker yeah that's what i always say i'm like sorry y'all i'm a yapper my bad ass yapper over here too
but can i say this before we get out of here yes of course i've have held on to this for a long for years now
you actually invited me to come on your podcast like when you first started oh yeah yeah yeah i think i was
gonna be like the third or fourth guess or something like that's on the ground yeah and i can't remember
what happened. I think like I thought it was like the day after. Yeah. Scheduling mishap.
Scheduling mishap. I think something was like going on with my daughter at that time. And so my mind
was just completely like somewhere else. And I think I got a text from you that was like,
hey, we're here. And I looked at it hours late. Like I think it was like three hours late. And I was like,
yeah. And for the love of Christ, I thought you hated me for the longest time. I thought like,
like I think it took me like a year. You did text me back though. I did text you back. You said it was cool.
But I like I sit in things, right?
And I was like, and I hadn't seen you like for like a year after that.
Yeah.
And so I was just like, we were passing ships for a while.
Like it was like we were going to things, but I would get there after you left or whatever.
Literally.
And then sometimes we would run into each other.
But that was like, eat me up for like a while.
Oh man.
And so.
I'm so sorry to hear that.
No, but then.
It's been a long time.
It was a long time.
It was a long time.
But when we saw each other again, eventually like everything was still like all good and everything.
Absolutely.
But at the same time, like again, I love your podcast.
Like I love your show and I love everything that you've done.
And I kept thinking to myself like, I let her down.
Like I let her down when she'd be most.
Well, you made it up to me by coming back on a spooky episode.
Once I got the call, I was like, yes.
Like clear everything.
Like, I'm coming.
I got to.
I know.
And I've had horse blinders on for three years.
So fuck if I know what's going on.
Tunnel vision, dude.
I never know what's happening ever.
Guys, what you need to understand about us is that we are so under the water.
That is the only way to survive.
Literally.
Honestly.
And that's literally how we get through.
It's true.
And so how many mistex do you have?
I have like over 100 right now.
You want me to tell you?
Mine?
Yeah, go ahead.
I have like 140 last I looked, but.
That's very cute.
It's too far back.
I can't keep going.
Oh, wait.
My girlfriend actually like just like, like actually read them.
So, so this is, this is nice.
I have 183.
Okay.
It used to be 1,200.
It was 1,200.
That's my emails.
That's a whole other thing.
Oh, emails is.
Yeah, I have like over 8,000 on red.
You know.
I'm working through them.
Listen.
The amount of people that I imagine beating down your door and just getting ignored by you is like, honestly, keep them wanting it.
Keep them wanting it.
Like, oh, she's so hard to get it.
I'm just trying to stay live, you know.
I have to stay, I have to keep my head above water.
But thank you so much for coming and hanging out with us.
Thank you for inviting me, man.
I love you too.
I think we're, we're riding it together.
Well, I mean, we're on the path together.
We are on this path.
Same draft class.
Yeah.
Yeah, for real.
And we're still alive, period.
We're still, we're still kicking, y'all.
Thank God.
