Starting point is 00:00:00 You know when people are like, your partner should not go through your phone? I'm like, I hope the fuck she does because I made a lot of plans and I have no idea when any of them are. Hey everyone and welcome back to another episode of the comment section show starring me, your favorite. Everybody knows me who cares about me. On to the guest. Today we have the iconic, the legendary, the absolutely hilarious. Allie Bel Airs. Thanks for having me.
Starting point is 00:00:29 Oh my God. Thank you for coming. Honor. And you are so tall. Thank you for saying that. wanted me to tell everyone. Nobody's talking about that nearly enough. Nobody wants to talk about how tall you are. They hate to see it. They hate to see a bad bitch winning. Right. They hate to see a tall bad bitch. Trust me. I know. Well, thank you so much for coming to the show. I'm excited to have
Starting point is 00:00:46 you. I'm so excited to be here. Watching you, I've been a fan. I noticed that I did send you a DM in 2022, I think. So I've been on the U train. I've been waiting for you to get on the me train. Maybe I was nervous. You're right. Maybe I was playing hard to get. Right. Well, now we're real game of cat and mouse you and I've been playing. Which one am I? I think we'd switch. Reverse, both of us. You know the terms. Yeah, of course I do. I'm like, I'm as close as you can get without actually being there. One of my friends called me gay adjacent. So I just run parallel to right. Right. Right. You're on the plane. Yeah. Yeah. I even talked, I told my friend Holmes recently on the show that I posted a cut down making fun of straight people. Right. With good children. I don't know
Starting point is 00:01:30 if you're familiar with Joan Andrew. No, no, no. Oh, yes. Of course. Yes, Joan Andrew. Well, I was talking to Joan Andrew, and I was making fun of straight people. And I was making fun of them because I was saying, like, talking to only and exclusively straight people can be exhausting and boring.
Starting point is 00:01:44 And someone had commented, like, yeah, let me just list the 40, like, the restaurants all I've been to my entire life for 45 minutes. I am exhausted. It's just so funny. It's just sometimes when I listen to straight people, it's just fact, fact, fact, fact, fact, fact. No, no opinion. just like this exists.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Yeah. It feels like when you're talking to like a mom and then they're like, you know who died? No, I didn't know that. And don't bring it up that way. Also, not now. Yeah, now's not the time. But when I was talking about that, I did have quite a few people going, aren't you straight? Yes, which is why I can make fun of them.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Adjacent. Yes. This episode of the comment section is presented by Amazon. This off to college season, save on college, save the every day. College is a chaotic time full of change, but also the starting point of some pretty great experiences. Starting point is 00:02:49 Adjacent. Straight adjacent. I had somebody tell me the other day. I saw this post, and they said that lesbian women need the relationship that straight women have with gay men like we need to have that with straight men sign me up for a war take me anywhere else take me like um i disagree women women are still with men and somehow we get put with men now they're like well you guys have a lot in common you go over there uh-uh no i think men need less friends and more timeout i think they need to be put in time out in a corner yeah somewhere just go go stand there think about your decisions think about your choices There's, they say male loneliness.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Right. I'm like, there's not enough of it. We need a lot more seclusion and we need a few islands. That's like that joke. I saw a meme where it said, men suffer in silence and quotes. And then it said, then why am I always hearing about it? Right. Which I, that's one of those jokes where I'm like, fuck, I should have made fun of it.
Starting point is 00:03:46 I should have made that one. And also, when? About what? What are they going through? Tell me one thing. Ever. I did see a TikTok recently where a girl was saying like, it's crazy like thinking about, you know, misinjury as a whole or like the red pill movement like them saying misdry calling women misdegroists
Starting point is 00:04:02 because men of all races and all backgrounds have been enslaving and raping and killing uh women for hundreds of thousands of years like literally across time but sometimes women can be mean right oh my god yeah i posted i posted i said the men who are terrible and like the worst man you know has done the most heinous crimes ever right and i pose i said and the worst thing a woman can be as a nurse she's like a little bit mean and the nurses came at me and they were like we're health care hero i was in nursing school so i'm like i know i know that what i'm saying is they rape and murder and we're a little mean sometimes a little rude yeah we don't put the napkin on our that's the greatest offense we could commit yeah it's being mean trust me i know i hear about it
Starting point is 00:04:48 all the goddamn time yeah criminal god every time every fucking time i've even said recently like those like moving posters and harry potter fuck harry potter but like the those moving posters things, like the one with Sirius Black when he's screaming, those are of me on Reddit. Right. Like they're talking about me and I'm going, ha, ha, ha, gooning. They give you such a hard time. You know what I love about you? Decentred men. You can be in a relationship. You still de-centered this hierarchy of just like men are great. You're like, well, I don't know. Well, and you know what? Obviously, my sister's a lesbian and we know, congratulations. Let's give it up for her. We got one. Yes. Thank God. And I, I, I, I.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I find, like, the lesbian perspective of men so fascinating because they don't give a fuck about men at all. Like, literally, you could never see one and it would be the best day of their life. And too soon. Like, you never saw one ever again. You don't need, I think you realize how much you don't need them. Right. That's what I'm saying. Like, and that's why I'm saying, like, decentering men is actually very possible for anyone, regardless of how you identify.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Lesbians have been doing it for years. Right. Like, they truly never want to see them ever again. And I admire that. We have a whole group of lesbians who are fixing. cars because he said listen we we're not going there anymore his prices are insane we're not doing it yeah and i have like so many lesbians on my team and that's why shit gets done right shit gets fucking done on my team that's why who is the NFL player who has an all-female team oh jalen
Starting point is 00:06:15 hurts yeah he's a quarterback for the skin looks flawless okay all women yeah exactly i know shit's gonna get done of course i know that i can trust it with women we have everything exactly and i was i just was about this in the car with my sister because I was talking about do you know the summer I turned pretty have you watched that show oh I'm rewatching it right now I'm rewatching it oh my god I love have you watched the new season yeah oh of course I'm rewatching it to figure out love how the hell anybody's team jeremiah hold on don't even get me started because then that's the whole episode that's all I'm to talk about okay so I am team Jeremiah this is me being honest this is me with a gun this is me with a gun I'm towing that line for my
Starting point is 00:06:57 team Jeremiah girls. I'm towing the line. They will not move me. You know what it is because you love a bisexual. You're like, wait. I'm rooting for gays no matter what. There's no chemistry, but you're like, he's bisexual. A straight guy who's a doctor? Yeah, get out of here.
Starting point is 00:07:14 Hate crime waiting to happen. The privilege. I said, Femmicide, I know it. I know you're driving that shit. He's going to be a doctor because his mom died of cancer. Well, that's important context that we're not factoring. All right.
Starting point is 00:07:26 what we're talking about it. And you know what's funny is like I was literally like I'm not even, I'm getting all twisted up in my words because I'm getting passionate. I was like raging about it to my sister because I do think they made Jeremiah so fucking corny this season. So insufferable. I said they nerfed him bad. They're like, you're going to hate this guy.
Starting point is 00:07:44 You're going to hate this guy. Which the propaganda will not work on me. They're like, look, he's fun. He's singing along in the corner. He's like got the lyrics pulled up. Yeah. Yeah. Meanwhile, minutes before he gets yelled at.
Starting point is 00:07:56 by his dad on the phone. Yes. Speaker phone. Also, how... In front of my bitch. Right. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:03 She's drying up. Dad, you're killing my fucking game. And his Jeep Wrangler. I'm like, this is... It's too gay. They took all the stereotypes. They're like he's singing Maroon Five. Fuck off.
Starting point is 00:08:18 And you know what? When I was watching it, I was literally telling my sister, I was like, they've made him so gross. I said, making him a dirtbag cheater. one thing making him cornball city i'm pissed off i was like why would you do that's my guy he's so fucking corny now and i said now he's like this gross douchey like just straight dude and i said he's this guy in pictures yeah yeah do you know the guy was talking about and my sister immediately goes don't ever do that again and then i go i'm not doing it i'm telling you that's the guy i need that
Starting point is 00:08:50 freeze frame i need that freeze frame my background right now you doing that hello and i was laughing Because I was like, you know that guy. Like in the pictures, they're like, do a silly face. And then that's what they do. And there's hands on his knees and sticks his butt out. And there's kids here. Like, I just think you're that guy. And that's how I see every straight guy.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Okay. And not to dive into it because we're here now and I'm in the deep end and I'm drowning. Let's. But they also said, he was like, oh, I just sat in the bathroom and cried for 12 hours. And then, and the homel looked at me and she goes, but he cheated twice, right? so you like you fucked and then you cried and then you fucked again and then i'd get one more and then i maybe i'll cry after right right yeah when she walked in and found out he wasn't going to graduate and he was all curled up like that i said ick yeah yeah get it together
Starting point is 00:09:41 pull yourself together he's got a rich family it's like just get it sorry i want to have fun dad dad i was partying to her it's like you're you spend every summer in new york new york new york right No, North Carolina, I think. Cousins? Message. We don't even know. We haven't even seen the show. We have no idea.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Right. We're for the bisexual, though. That's what I'm saying. I'm rooting for y'all. I'm rooting for the gays constantly. I think an important part of that is being gay culture is knowing that sometimes we don't root for all gays. You know, like sometimes it's like, well, he's still missing. My favorite part of media, like watching media from like the early days is we got to pick who was.
Starting point is 00:10:25 gay. Nobody told us. You know, we were just like, Anna Kendrick is acting pretty frisky in the wrist that bitch is gay. Right. And I got to tell people, but now they're telling me and I'm like, nah, not just her. I'll take this back to the council, but it's not looking good. Right. I don't think you're going to get approved. Like in sex in the city. Yeah. When they went back in the day in the 2000s or whatever, whenever it came out, we got to decide which of the four were gay. And now they're like, it's Miranda. And I'm like, well, it doesn't have to be the redhead always. with the short hair.
Starting point is 00:10:57 It doesn't have to be her. God forbid she's a lawyer. She can be a powerful woman. They're like, well, she can't be that good at her job and not gay. So obviously you got to make her gay. Right. Corning. I think that's so funny that you watch that show.
Starting point is 00:11:10 I feel very seen by you. I watched like anything that's like you would not expect. Like reality TV. You big reality TV fan? Huge. Did you watch Love Island? Of course I did. I didn't, but I did.
Starting point is 00:11:21 I felt like it was being shoved on me. Right. I felt like I was being beat over the fucking head with it. That's how they take gay people. Christians take gay people. They're like, it's everywhere. It's in the bathroom. It's on our television.
Starting point is 00:11:35 Me to Love Island. I'm like, I don't care what you do behind closed doors. I just don't want to see it. Don't do it in front of the kids. Also the way they sleep in Love Island. I like describe them to my sister. I was like, those are like army barracks.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Like you're just next to each other like that. Dorms. You guys get up at dawn when you hear the trumpet. Is that what you guys are doing? They put the sunglasses on them. Like what is the. lighting in there. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:56 It's so strange. Also, I think making me have my belly out the whole time, you're crazy. No swimming. No swim shirt. Right. I don't get to put a big t-shirt on once. And the heels, too. I think about the heels always.
Starting point is 00:12:09 Yeah, you're crazy. Those toes are clenched up. By day three, they're like crawl. Yeah, and my belly's out. That's so fucked up. What's your favorite reality show as of right now? Right now, oh my gosh, you know what I'm watching? the old school episodes of Millionaire Matchmaker
Starting point is 00:12:25 Like LA old school I actually what's her name the the host Patty yeah I met her at the premiere of materialist I interviewed her I interviewed her and she was very nice But she was very like I love a movie about matchmaking It is a business I was like right right She's like it's her job and her person
Starting point is 00:12:46 It's everything to me I wake up I think about it that's how she talks to. That's true. You know, because you go through these phases when we're online that I think you've had to take some breaks too. That you're just like, this is like all a little too much. I feel like everything I say somebody, you know, you say like in this recipe, we're going to use eggs. And somebody's like, well, I'm allergic.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Yeah, and you knew that. And that's fucked up. And I'm like, well, don't do the recipe. Scroll, scroll. There you go. Look at me. But like, so sometimes I like to watch. like the old school stuff because they say the most wild shit oh my god like the ginsers in it
Starting point is 00:13:27 she like hate the guy's like oh i'm into redheads and she's like disgusting she's got a lot to say about it she puts like the girls together and it's like all blonde girls and she's like pick one and he's like no i like redheads and she's like ugh she's like um well kill yourself yeah she's like what would you like about them yeah she's like ew gross on live television ugly yeah and she like it's just like it's like watching um what is the modeling show from back oh america's next time model it's like sometimes you just got to go back and watch oh my god i know there was like i remember because my sister and i used to love that show too i remember there was a photo shoot theme where they switched races actually they literally made like white girls like
Starting point is 00:14:08 african they like tan their skin way too dark they like put them in wigs like shit like that i was like this is the worst thing i ever who approved it just blindly approved we watched I rewatch or tried rewatching vampire diaries recently because I loved that show back in the day I was trying to make my man watch it with me and like the very first episode when she walks into the school for the first time Bonnie says literally a transphobic slur yeah but she's like describing herself and then she just says that and I was like oh oh this fucking show oh my god this is on the CW yeah sometimes with those shows you like just have to keep it at we watch it when I was 16 yeah they're like oh so I can't can't go that far back. It like ruins the magic. I agree. And also speaking of reality and like reality TV specifically and what it used to be like back in the day, I was just telling my man the other day that they could never recreate something like Jersey Shore. No. Like the, the OG Jersey Shore, like I never really cared for reality TV, but I loved Jersey Shore. People are too aware now. I agree. And there's too much to be like one after in their mind.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I feel like being an influencer or being famous online is like something you could incentivize to win. this time but like back then they just had cameras in a dream they went to the show and they were paid no money they just said fuck it they were like free summer at the fucking short right i'm in selling t-shirts by the shore hell yeah they literally were just fucked up all the time and working and then cameras in the house that's it right and i was like god they could never recreate this everybody on staff had to be chill too nobody could go nobody could go to HR yeah like literally ever because then you're all going down yeah at that point you couldn't be like i saw some pretty inappropriate stuff. You just had to sit there and film and play.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I know my sister told me that she was telling you to watch The Secret Lives and Mormon and did. And did you like it? You know, I'm fascinated by straight people. I am. I mean, sometimes when I watch the dynamics, I'm just like, this works for some people. And I've never thought of it this way. I had about, you know, my boundaries are a little bit different. Yeah, They are. They're vastly different. But you know what's fun is they know. Like they know can't.
Starting point is 00:16:21 They know. They're doing what they need to do. That's very true. That's very true. And I love that. I've joked about that with days because I'm like, I couldn't relate less to these women. Like when I watched shit like that, I don't know any of their names. I do know that many of them follow me in our fans of mine, which I was like, I mean T, period.
Starting point is 00:16:36 But honestly, bitchy white girls love me. Right. A bitchy white girl, she's going to love me. They're like, fight back, Drew. Fight. Fight. Drew, you're like, you say something. They're like, no.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Yeah, they love me kind of like how people love gorillas in the zoo. Like they're like, oh my God, throw it again. Right. Do it again. Look what it does when you pound the glass. It's putting its butt on the window. That's crazy. That's how they look at me.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Take a picture. Take a picture with me. And then when I hit the glass a little too hard, they get scared. Yeah, right. That's what happens to me. Right. The off topic, but not really. When I was in therapy once, I was talking to my therapist about,
Starting point is 00:17:13 I was like telling her like how I struggle with being perceived sometimes kind of like what you were saying earlier and I was telling her I don't know sometimes I feel like an animal in the zoo and I feel like they're all watching me and then they get mad when I'm not enjoying my enclosure right they get annoyed with me they're like we watch you the fucking swing we put that peanut butter ball in there and you haven't touched it once you're banging your head against your glass and they're like doesn't even appreciate the fucking swing this one I said I was like I feel like the fucking the whale in blackfish like tilacum or whatever the fuck where I'm studying their patterns and then I'm going to kill them eventually. Did you ever watch that documentary? No. Dason hasn't told me about it yet. She's my source for shit like that too. Yeah, she's feeding me.
Starting point is 00:17:53 She's feeding me. It's a crazy documentary about how they treat the animals at SeaWorld terribly. But when they're studying killer whales specifically, killer whales are really smart. So they noticed that literally he was going insane in there. So he got mad and started holding grudges against the trainers. I'm not even kidding. I'm not joking.
Starting point is 00:18:09 And then he started studying how they swam in their routine. and then he like literally killed them because he was planning and that's me. I'm going insane, but I'm also fucking watching all the room. Yeah, but I'm also clocking a pattern. And my therapist when I was talking to her about it, she was like, well, you know, even when you see animals that are enjoying their enclosure, like, that doesn't mean they were meant to be in there. So like it's acceptance, whatever.
Starting point is 00:18:32 I was like, right, right. And she goes, also like, you know, situations like that are known as like double binds where you're damned if you do, damned if you don't. She goes, they do tend to trigger psychosis, specifically in women. And I said, hey, any other notes, doctor? And I was, that was the end of her sentence. And I said, oh, so I feel crazy because I am going crazy. I hate when they just leave you with things.
Starting point is 00:18:53 And they're like, so same time next week? Hey, go, hey, I'm going to leave you with that. Got it run. But speaking of our jobs making us go crazy. Yeah. How did you get into content creation initially? So I think originally I started posting videos because my friends were like, put that shit online because I'm not going to hear about it anymore.
Starting point is 00:19:12 And they're like, we've heard the joke. Talk to yourself and post it. We've heard it off. We've heard it. Try somebody else. And then when I think about this, like, I know that at some point I had Lil John, like he reposed one of my videos and it went crazy. Because I was like, what does milk the cow mean?
Starting point is 00:19:31 And I like got on all fours and he was like, skit, skit, skit, skit, skit, skit, skit. Right. And I was like, thank you, little John. Yeah. Well, thank you for saying. A lot of people say that. You're not the first. But then I had Simone Biles, like, followed me.
Starting point is 00:19:46 And I was like, this is actually, I die here. I tried to commit suicide two times because I was like, this is as good as it gets. Well, that's it for me. So yeah, I really started creating videos like at the end of college. And I didn't think it would be anything. And then I was silly from college. I was supposed to graduate in 2020.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Okay. But COVID messed things up. And also my 2.1 GPA. Maybe. I think it was fucking COVID. Like all these factors. Who's to say? There's a lot going on at the time.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Like, sorry. What's your Jeremiah? I partied too hard. Sorry, dad. So that's why you hate Jeremiah because you are Jeremiah. Of course. I hate what I am. He's a mirror.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Yeah. So, yeah, then I started creating videos. Nice. And then, yeah, that's really, the rest is. And now you're doing stand up. I am trying. How has that been? Intimidating.
Starting point is 00:20:37 It is very scary. I agree with you on that. I'm like used to looking in the mirror. And like, I'm good. with that but looking outwardly for everybody's opinions is is weird because I'm like well I don't respect what you say you're so me I don't agree with a lot of you and like I have this natural urge to fight back yeah so I'm very familiar with that feeling right so right get it right I'm loosening up but I've also met some people have been so great since we've moved to L.A like I've had so many
Starting point is 00:21:10 mentors now I feel like who are offering advice and I'm just trying to be a sponge. That's really no that that I feel like it's half the battle is just being willing to listen. Right. Because when straight men get up there and don't take any fucking notes, you're like, well, I could do that. Hello? I see a straight man do it. I'm like, okay, why am I even nervous? I think there's this pressure to be, you know, as good as I want to be and great.
Starting point is 00:21:36 You know, most people when they start to stand up, it's like them and some drunk and, you know, Some guy drinking it's like seven people total. Yeah. So I think that I'm like being perceived is always tough. And you know, you don't want to make anyone mad, but you want to do what you want to do. Yeah, totally. So yeah, but it's good. Yeah, it's a good place to be.
Starting point is 00:21:54 I think it's good that you're so open to learning, which is not shocking because you're not a straight man. So obviously. But I agree though, because I, that was like one of the last things I ever tried. And it was because I was genuinely very nervous to try it because I didn't want to find out the hard way I wasn't funny. Well, that's like not that kind of. funny. You're funny. Thank you. I think like online funny and like stand up funny. They don't always cross over. Right. Some of some people genuinely do and some people don't at all. Like they try it and they're like, never again. Yeah. Right. Or they're like, she's only funny in her videos. You didn't, did you enjoy it?
Starting point is 00:22:27 I did. I enjoyed it. Yeah. I think more than anything when I was thinking about it, I was like, this is great, but like I want to do other things. Right. I realized I was like, I think I want to act instead. Yeah. So I'm kind of pursuing that. But I do love live. performance. I think that's very fun. Oh yeah. Did you take your podcast live? Yes, I have. I did, well, not this one. I've toured my other podcast with my sister. Of course. We did like a baby tour. And then when my book came out last year, I did like a full national tour, like 22 dates or something. Yeah. Which was really fun. And that's, it is like live comedy, but it's not stand up. So it feels different and more fun to me. Because I feel like I feel like too for me with stand up, I felt very
Starting point is 00:23:04 chained to the material. Like I felt like I had to memorize it word for word. So when I did like my first five, I was a little stiff. Right. When I did my next set, I felt way better because I just wrote bullet points and then just kind of went from there, which I think is more fun. Right. Is that kind of your vibe too? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:20 So I think that I've tried to like memorize 60 minutes of material to take it on the road. But yeah, the more you watch and, you know, we've been going to so many comedy shows, funny people are funny. Yeah. You know. That's literally what my fiance told me. He's like, you're still funny. Like even if it's, you don't memorize everything.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Right. You don't know anything. Yeah. And I was like, stop. You're a man. You don't know anything. I have to have other people find me funny. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Yeah. I don't care if you do. God, it's other people. Yeah, I do. I think that too, we've been to so many comedy shows in the last like two weeks, too. It's just like some people can get on stage and say, hello. And they're like, shut the fuck up. This woman.
Starting point is 00:24:01 You know, like I think it's just about this confidence and this confidence. I agree. I agree, too. And I think it's like being able to read a room too, because even when I talk to Caleb, Heron, he always, like, he's been a mentor for me in stand-up. Like, he gives me lots of tips and stuff. But he's even told me, like, that it's all about reading a vibe because he's like, I like to think of it, like, having a conversation. So, like, if I brought up politics and you were not responding to it, I'm not going to keep talking about something you're not. Right. Yeah, he's like,
Starting point is 00:24:29 I'm not going to keep hammering home the same thing you don't want to talk about. So when I looked at it that way, it felt less daunting of like, what do I talk about? Yeah, yeah. And even so, like, I feel like too sometimes when people would come watch me do stand up like the first time i did it was for caliph so i told them i didn't want to market it in any way because i just wanted to find out if i was funny i didn't want to tell me organically yeah so it was like a pleasant surprise but then i performed with him and chris fleming which i was like that's fucked up to do to me they're so hilarious why would you stack those two fucking titans over me like this fucked up you were so funny and so loved though too i think that that's like part of it too it's like you're filling it with a room
Starting point is 00:25:05 full of people who love you you would have to really fuck up you're right yeah and And I didn't talk to like Grace Kulinschmidt. Like she said like, I don't like doing it in rooms with like predominantly straight people. Like I like to go to queer spaces, gay bars. Like because those people are going to get your jokes. Like a lot of your kind of energy and vibe. And I was like, that's so te. That is so tea.
Starting point is 00:25:27 Because I think about like other comics I've talked to like longstanding comics who like they've performed in certain cities they'll never go to ever again. Right. Because they're like no matter what I say, they're going to hate me there. Those aren't my people. Yeah. They're going to hate me and everything I say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:39 which is really exciting. Do you have any, like, goals for stand-up? Yeah, so the goal is that I want, I've had trouble finding, like, a good management company. Like, so I want to find a good management and then take it on the road, probably three shows at first. So I might book on my own, three shows and then see how that goes. Fun. And then maybe a tour. Oh, my God, how exciting.
Starting point is 00:26:00 But I need to put my minutes in. I need to put in the hours. Yeah. Are you a big planner? What's your sign? No, I'm an ARI's. Oh. Can you tell?
Starting point is 00:26:08 Yeah. In a bad way. No. in a great way. I'm not insecure about it. No, I get along with Aries very well. Aries people in general because Aries people, even Aries men, which is shocking. But I feel like Aries people, I've said before are like, you know, when you're driving and you're thinking to yourself, what if I just ran my car of the road? Of course. Aries people, I'm like, Aries people do it and then think about it after. Right. And one of my best friends in college was in Aries and I'm a Virgo. So like I always say
Starting point is 00:26:35 like, I never would have had any fun experiences without her and she would have died without me. Right. So I think we're a good pairing, honestly. Right. Yeah. I think they keep each other alive, honestly. I think a big part of my growing up was like, no running the car off the road. Like I was like, chill out a little bit. I used to be such a hothead, and now I think about yelling, and I'm like, nobody could ever make me yell. Really used to be a hothead?
Starting point is 00:26:56 Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Well, I'm like, I'm like trying to grow into a better person. Well, that's because I've grown up. I like, right. I made a lot of bad choices. That's why I'm 26. I'm 20. 26 13 months ago. I'm not letting that go. I'm not letting that go.
Starting point is 00:27:15 You're going to, so you're 27? Why would you say that? I was like, 26, 13 months ago. And now I'm 5, 6. How many lies are you going to tell? How many lies? You're making me do math and that's fucked up. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:26 I was literally doing math in my head. Okay, well, I'm going to be 30, so you're fine. Oh my gosh. You look great. Thank you. Yeah. I didn't appreciate the, oh my God, but thank you. It's like a whole third.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Jesus. starts with a three. I know. I'm excited. I honestly hate being 29. I feel like it's like I'm hanging on to my 20s. Just do it. I wish I skipped to 30.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Just the age itself is getting desperate. I'm like, I'm not 30 yet. Okay. I just started telling people I'm 30 because I'm so sick of saying 29. It feels so embarrassing. You're going to beat them to do it. That's so funny.
Starting point is 00:28:01 It feels like I'm holding on to my 20s. But then I'm looking forward to my 30s because when I turn 30, I'm going to be like, I'm only 30 to like 30 year olds. The baby is stuff. of the 30s. Yes, I'm 21 again. Right. But in 30s. Right. Period. Yeah, that's what I think I'm, I'm wishing for the 30s. It would be nice to not have any, like, attachment to the things I did did at my 20s. You know? Like, that's fair. I'll be sober for like 14 years at that point or something. I'm like, come on. Congratulations, though. Thank you. That's awesome. Allie can't drink. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Sorority's fucking hard. Yeah. Is it? I don't know. You tell me. Yeah. I don't know. I think that, like, part of it is just like you wake up so icked one day from your yourself you're like never again you know and I had enough like I I think a normal person would probably take I like also didn't drink until I was old me too I didn't drink till I was 1920 yeah I think it was like the same time I started drinking and then I hit the handle hard I like I like found about out about it and then I put in those hours right that's for sure made up for lost time right and then I said cut it That's plenty. That's plenty.
Starting point is 00:29:09 No, that's honestly so, too. I agree with you on that. Especially the 20s, like being attached to your 20s, because I actually was too, a hothead too, when I was younger. But I like to describe it. No way. No way. That's why one of us would make a lot of sense.
Starting point is 00:29:25 The other person you'd be like, really? And I guess who it is. When I was younger, I like to describe it, though, was like, I just had no fear, which I guess could. It's scarier. Which is worse. It's so scary. I had no fear at all, especially like when it came to any sort of confrontation, which again, shouldn't be shocking.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Right. Which I say now, too, like, now that I, like, laugh at hate or, like, people being bigoted or whatever, I'm like, you guys should be lucky you caught me in my mid-20s. This is me peaceful. Yeah, if you caught me when I was 17, 18, bitch, you would really hated me. Like, I would have came up to your front fucking door and we would have handled it in person. So I'm proud of that, too, getting older. Look at you. Look at us.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Look at us. We're so distinguished now. Sorry, classy. Legs are crossed. Sorry, because before they would have been here and here. Exactly. But speaking of fun facts about you, I do have some other fun facts about you. Some very interesting facts.
Starting point is 00:30:24 The first one being that you played high school basketball. The crowd went quiet. Everyone's like, hot-headed basketball, huh? Yeah, it is so unfair because I've been really into women's. sports lately and so I meet these you know amazing athletes and they're like obviously good at basketball and I'm like by the way me too was by the way back in my day by the way here as well you're lucky I decided to be funny for a living otherwise I would have taken that spot would have had a few problems with me so yeah I did I played high school basketball I played in
Starting point is 00:30:57 college for half a second as well too okay yeah do a little more what was your position they dive deeper into that reach that add that to your little tab right uh two weeks in I three school so don't give me my credits what did you uh what position were you point girl you know my height yeah I knew I didn't want to assume you're a point card I just wanted to ask imagine you set a forward right crazy I'm the big guy I'm the big guy you can't tell obviously obviously yeah obviously yeah okay this next one says your very first tattoo was the quote two roads diverged in a yellow road Robert Robert Frost quote on her arm Is that true?
Starting point is 00:31:38 That's close to the quote. So let me run it back for you because Robert would be pissed. Yeah. Two roads. I was going to say yellow road? What is this? Wizard of Oz? Amanda, did you write that?
Starting point is 00:31:49 Hold on. Let's click my heels and we'll find out what the dead do is. You're like reading it and you're like this doesn't. That's like me being a Virgo. I'm like, that's incorrect. Right. The yellow wood. The yellow wood.
Starting point is 00:32:04 The yellow brick road. Two roads. virgin of wood I took the one less traveled by yes which is what you get when you grow up in a town that there's no gay people and you say there's two roads and I'm not with them I thought it was so deep I was like you were just gay in a small town that's okay I took the one less traveled right not the rainbow road not the yellow road but the rainbow road a rainbow path if you will that was my first tattoo and any don't get tattoos if you're whatever I don't know whatever advice I'm supposed to fucking be getting the young kids.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Don't get them. Don't do anything. But I got it horizontal. So like all my other tattoos are vertical. And then it's just like, bam, mistake. Okay. So it's like written this way as opposed to like, or is it written straight? And it's incursive.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Like you, I know whoever wrote that down was trying to read this. And they were like, damn. They're from the 2000s. They didn't learn cursive. Imagine you read it though and it did say yellow road. That would be crazy. You're like, wait a second. Yeah, that's a D.
Starting point is 00:33:04 I know a D. I know a D. I know a D when I see a D. That's, uh, how many statues do you have? Total. Oh. A bajillion. 70, 80 maybe.
Starting point is 00:33:13 It depends on what counts. Do you lose track over time? I haven't gotten one since my frontal lobe developed. So like, I hate to be, I'm like thinking about it. It was 13 months ago when you turned 10 years. And I was 23. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:28 I have like, I have Shrek. I mean, I have some that I'm like, hmm. I love that though. Yeah. patchwork vibe. Thank you. I love that. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:33:36 I'd rather why people do that. You don't have to live with a regret. You're like, I love it for you. I'd rather you all be tattooing that than tattooing anything cultural. Right. Right. Like that's all I was like,
Starting point is 00:33:44 you don't need to get kongy. Like cultural like cultural like, Starbuck. That's not of white culture. Like when people get like conji on them or like Japanese characters. I'm like you could have gotten you could have gotten a hot dog. You could have gotten two roads divergent on a yellow road. Right.
Starting point is 00:34:00 You could have gotten that. But you didn't. I did like a tanty. two thing recently, but I don't have many. I only have four. And this was the first one I got. And then this was, I got this when I was like 24. That's so dope. That's like commitment. Yeah, I'd say. I was like when I got it to I was like, well, I only have four. That's cool. We got to really stretch this time, don't we? Because I was like, well, this one. Also too, because it's tribal, obviously specific to someone culture. Yeah. But like normally they're supposed
Starting point is 00:34:27 to have like some sort of meaning like your journey through life or like something like that. it doesn't it just looks cool and so sometimes when people are weird and offensive about it i'll just make shit up yeah no you have to this this right here means get the fuck away from me i'm just lying i'm just lying constantly i'm telling them the story of the summer i turn pretty the plot line yeah yeah yeah yeah following my journey um and then this my tattoo orders put this on my finger but this is a bird because it's on my middle finger right that's pretty much it's That's like my bees knees. You're the bees' knees, I know.
Starting point is 00:35:03 Yeah. That's cute. I love that. Yours are so good, too. Thank you. They just match you. They're your vibe. I'm a big like Virgo in that sense too.
Starting point is 00:35:11 We're like all my, I want all my tattoos to match because my, I have a big one on my back down my spine that looks like this. Uh-huh. And then I have my sister, my brother and I tattooed on the back of our neck. Well, my sister and I is our back of our neck. My brother got it on his back. But we wanted to get one for each of my parents.
Starting point is 00:35:26 So we got a move. with like tribal in it for my mom because she always says like I love you to the moon and back and then like so sweet and then my did she say that to me yeah I don't know yes of course you can I'll let you borrow her after yeah thank you my dad his very first tattoo was like a stick and poke in someone and it's on his shoulder and it's in the worst writing and it's tiny and it's faded and it says a hundred percent someone that's all it says oh yeah and he always says like I hate that tattoo I should have never gotten it he got it when he was like 16 uh-huh and then he's like I hate that tattoo and then of course like my sister was like we should tattoo ourselves for him so ours says 75%
Starting point is 00:36:04 because my dad's full my mom's half someone that's quick math it literally just says 75% someone and I was like we just tattooed a joke on our songs for my mom we're like oh I love you to me like for my dad we're like ugly tattoo here's your ugly tattoo math math math your percentage ugly tattoo so we tattooed that on us and like I only have the four. That's all I got. Yeah. Any more in the future? I think so.
Starting point is 00:36:30 I'm more so about placement. Like I'm trying to figure out where to put my next one. I'm not too sure. So your type, what's the type A? Yeah. Okay. And you're type B. Well, I wouldn't know.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Type A is very like structured planning. Type B is very like, whatever happens happens. Right. Well, that's a little bit. I'm like, what the fuck's going to happen? But yeah. What about your wife? Is she type A type B?
Starting point is 00:36:53 Very. Yeah. She has like four different planners. And like this week I like made plans and I was like, oh dinner on Thursday. And she was like, now where would we fit that in? And I'm like, we're free on Thursday. She's like, we're booked all day. And I'm like, oh.
Starting point is 00:37:08 If it's not in the calendar, it doesn't exist. She like, she like put one in the bathroom so I have to look at it. It's like this huge dry erase board. I'm like, I don't know. It still feels free. I really do. I really do think that type A and type B need to be together. I feel like two type A's doesn't work.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Yeah, because where am I going to be invited? Because I'm not going to be invited because I'm not for me. You know when people are like your partner should not go through your phone? I'm like, I hope the fuck she does because I made a lot of plans and I have no idea when any of them are. I think I made a plan. No, I, my fiance is the exact same way. Also, he does this shit that drives me up the wall, which is, he goes, do you have my wallet? Why the fuck would I have it?
Starting point is 00:37:50 Right. Why would I have your wallet? No, he shouldn't ask that. He asked me that about so many things. Do you have my phone? Why would I every time like literally the other we were in Florida a week ago. Yuck. And we were looking.
Starting point is 00:38:03 My, my fiance was the last one who drove the rental car and me and my parents were trying to go somewhere. So we were like, okay, yeah, ready to go. Ready. And he goes, do you have the car key? Oh. Why would I have it? I've never driven the car. People shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Yeah, that's bad. And people who do that kind of stuff are bad. I've asked my wife all those questions this morning. We walk out of the door, I go, keys, wallet. mine and yours okay perfect yeah one time we were driving home from somewhere and when we got in the house he goes do you have my phone no I don't and then he couldn't find it he uses his he's logged into my find my iPhone so he can find his own phone because that's how often he loses it and he's like I literally can't find it and then I was looking at it on like his location it was on the fucking
Starting point is 00:38:47 freeway because he left it on the top of the car and we drove all the way home with it up there And it was like, and it was still on, like, because it was on the freeway off ramp. Yeah. And then we drove in circles. And I was like, what are we doing? We're not going to fight. He's like, go on the ramp. Come on.
Starting point is 00:39:01 He's like, well, if I just look, look what? What are you, Spider-Man? I can't see that. She's like, yeah. Ding, ding, ding. Yeah. I can't, I genuinely don't. When I first started dating him, sometimes he would come or we would come to my house to pick me up or he
Starting point is 00:39:18 would like, we would go somewhere to his house or whatever. he would leave his phone while it keys in the ignition in the car right what are you leaving it running like he just gets out and just gets up and just excited just happy to see you sorry I was happy to see you we were in Canada earlier this year for a show how are they they're nice yeah they're fun yeah they're probably a lot happier than we are I know it was so clean up there too they're recycling my one gripe though with it is every restaurant in Canada the lights are like so low you can't see shit and the music is two thousand times louder than it well they have health care so everyone can get glasses if they need it i remember when my sister goes
Starting point is 00:40:01 it's too dark in every restaurant and i and i can't hear anything she's like busy turn down the music god take me back to florida when we were in canada uh i think like the second to last day we were there i think we were there for like four or five days the last day we were second to last day we were there He goes, I go, do you have the room key? He goes, no, we'll use this one. And he handed me the other one. And I go, what happens to the other one? He goes, it's in my wallet.
Starting point is 00:40:27 And I go, where's your wallet? He goes, I haven't seen it in a day. Okay. What? And thanks for the warning. Yeah, and he goes, no, I haven't seen it. And I go, just trying to figure out where it could be. Since when?
Starting point is 00:40:37 I don't know. I think yesterday. What do you mean you fucking think? And then he goes, I lost it. I just like, it's fine. Not me. The way I would literally be on the fucking night news because I'd be scaling the buildings like King Kong. I'd be like, where's my ball?
Starting point is 00:40:52 Serving face, though, serving face, surely. Yeah, that is so deeply me. And so I want to, I want, like, you know when people talk about men who are incompetent? Yes. I like, hear him say, and I'm like, they are bad. You're all, that sucks. And I did do that, and I need to not do that anymore. It's like, I look myself in the mirror.
Starting point is 00:41:10 I'm like, oh, God, stupid. It's such a, like, I do, though, to an extent, I envy that because then nothing is, is ever stressful. Right. I'm stressed all the fucking time constantly. And he's just like, ah, it's fine. It'll buff out.
Starting point is 00:41:25 Yeah, like, one time his phone stopped working, and, like, I have brain rot. So if my phone stops working for longer than 10 minutes, like, even that's even a stretch. I start turning what I like to describe as,
Starting point is 00:41:36 like, very Republican. Right. Like, I start becoming very alt-right, almost immediately. I'm like, these goddamn fucking phones who's making names. I'm addicted to them.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Yeah, I start getting so, like, when I can't look at TikTok for 10 minutes, which is a bad thing. Our job, though. Right. Part of it. That's my excuse.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Right. That's what I say. I'm clocked in. Yeah, I was like, it's my job. And I'm watching like walkie slush on fucking TikTok for hours. When somebody catches me watching something and I have to say I'm working and then it's like, uh, ignore that. Ignore that. Yeah, he, his phone stopped working and he was like, I'll just leave it here.
Starting point is 00:42:11 No, big deal. Is he, does he do a lot of social media though? No, not really. Smart man. Yeah. Like, that's a good man. It's yours because it's yours and he doesn't get to touch it. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:42:21 That's my neighborhood. That's your toy. This town ain't big enough for the two of us. Get out of here. He's like just trying to come in the town. You're like, no. Population 1. And you know, what's funny is no, he doesn't.
Starting point is 00:42:34 He posts very infrequently, if ever, because he doesn't really care for it, which I do love. But he got invited recently to the chief of war premiere. Have you seen that show? With Jason Mamo, it's like about the Hawaiian Kingdom. It looks really good. It's on Apple TV. Dope. Big, big, big, big show, right? Highly anticipated.
Starting point is 00:42:51 He gets invited to the premiere in Hawaii to host the carpet. Did he get a plus one or no? No, and if you're asking, no, I didn't get invited. I said, weird. That's crazy. I'm also a Polynesian and also hosts and also do that stuff. And how about he needs to get the hell out of my town. Get out of here.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Oh, now I'm fighting you for jobs too. Scram! Scram! They really are cutting DEI. Yeah. Clearly. Right. Women and children are the first to go. Nobody talked to my sister.
Starting point is 00:43:18 I told my sister that she goes, he never fucking posts. How the fuck did he get that? How do they have it? Does he even email and bio? Yeah, I don't even fucking know. What's this cool cat doing? And honestly,
Starting point is 00:43:27 I think it's because he bears a passing resemblance. And why I say passing me very fleeting resemblance to Jason Mama. Right. And I think they wanted it to be like, hey. Flex. Flex. You guys look alike. Stand together.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Yeah. Maybe kiss. Uh-huh. You said that. You said that. You said that. You said that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:48 Well. You're like, what if. all the men kiss and then what? And what if? You're pushing gay agenda. You're right, I am. I'll take it. I'll take the fault for it. Yeah, yeah. I like you do it with all things. Right. I got clearance from everyone. Right. All the gays. The summer I turned pretty. Weren't you rooting for the mom and Laurel or whatever to kiss? I remember when I first watched those episodes, I said, okay, that's lesbians. What do you mean lifelong friend? Get married.
Starting point is 00:44:18 My sister makes this joke all the time Whenever they're like, oh, this is my friend. She goes, I had a friend like that once. I also had a friend like that once. And now I know what she looks like from the inside. I had a friend like that. Now we're really good friends. She has to like quit her job to take care of her.
Starting point is 00:44:37 I'm like, that's gay. Yeah. You've kissed. I want to push my gay agendas on who I want to. Me too. When I see it, I'm like kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss. I'm like, you guys aren't going to fucking kiss. Right.
Starting point is 00:44:50 That's crazy. Yeah. Also, having Skyler from last season kiss Cam Cameron. Cam Cameron. What's that? What agenda are we pushing the hair? That's like somehow gayer. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:06 That 2 plus 2 equals that's the gayest shit I was in my life. What's going on? Who's the top? Tell me who the top is. What in the lavender marriage is happening there? Yeah. I also think that like when the mom got sick, she's like, I have to quit my job and take care of her. And then when she found out she cheated, she was like, I would never, under her breath, I would never treat you like this. I told her, and I'm like, that's exactly how I used to treat, you know, like girls who I was friends with.
Starting point is 00:45:34 I'd like, I know you're dating him, but I would never treat you like in a straight way. I would never. Like a totally normal, not gay way. I would hold your hand all the time and kiss you too. been not a gay way that's like how we joke about my sister loving the movie lemonade mouth my sister
Starting point is 00:45:53 a haley kioga fan yes my sister when that movie came out we watched it and I remember being like this movie sucks like it's alright but it's it's what else and then it's no high school musical I can promise you that right they could never they could never
Starting point is 00:46:08 recreate high school musical has box yeah what Kenny Ortega created is magic but that's besides the point when we were talking I remember when we were watching it and talking about it the first time we ever saw it. She was like, we should watch Lemonade Mouth again. And we watched it so many times that I distinctly remember asking her, why do you like this movie so much?
Starting point is 00:46:27 Because none of it was adding up to me. I was like, why do you like this so much? Because she hates musicals, and that movie makes no sense. Like the general plot line makes no sense. And she hates musicals. I can't stress that enough. There's nothing but music in that movie. And I was like, what do you like about this movie in particular?
Starting point is 00:46:43 And she would never have a real answer for me. like she would be like, I don't know. I just think it's like awesome. When she was younger? Yeah, when we were younger when we first. Yeah. Well, and I remember like being shocked when my sister came out to me. But then when I look back, I see shit like that and I'm like, yeah, you're fucking gay.
Starting point is 00:47:00 She's like, I like the plot. The plot is just gay. The plot is Haley Kiyoka. You're just watching Haley Kiyoka like this. She's trying to zoom in on the. Did you have, what was your coming out experience in that regard? Like, where you realized you're like, uh-oh. I think I might like girls.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Oh, my mom says, my mom's like, Ali, I knew you were gay since you were born. And so now, just to test it, I like bring babies up to her. I'm like, you fruit, fruity, are you thinking? What do you think? Right. What do you think, mom? She's like, it's risk or flimsy? I'm like, that's gay.
Starting point is 00:47:31 No, I don't know. There's a lot of, I like, I was so into basketball that, like, I didn't have a lot of romance in my life, but I do remember feeling always drawn to female, like, you know, women who were in movies. Like, just like that here. I like had a hero complex. I was like, I would never hurt her in a friend way. Once again, guys, it's in a friend way.
Starting point is 00:47:53 But every, you know. Yeah, it's super in a friend way. I think Shigo was big for me. Nice. That's a great one. Yeah. She's mean and hot. Right.
Starting point is 00:48:02 And yeah, mean. I was, I didn't know what I wanted. No, I have like the nicest person in the world. I'm like, that's my Shigo. How don't that character change? I think that's great. I think those are easy. I think tells to the characters that you're drawn to.
Starting point is 00:48:20 That's why Haley Kiyoko, like, being who Haley Kioca is now, I was like, fucking hat on a hat, bitch. And just engaged. It's like, this means everything to me. I comment on their engagement post and I'm like, this is everything. I've been laying the bricks since Lemonade Mouth. I've been here since the beginning on ground zero. Right. She had that haircut.
Starting point is 00:48:44 Exactly. That's what I'm saying. And she was a rebel. Right. In that movie. Bad. Bad. Gay.
Starting point is 00:48:51 Just gay. And short hair. There you go. Right. They love to do that. Can't be straight with short hair. The next fun fact says that your grandma almost went pro in ping pong. Which one?
Starting point is 00:49:08 Is that a lie that you told? I was not close at all with any of my grandparents. I hope you do. I hope you do. I hope that my recent. research team does explain. We need to call in a family member. I saw part of a Q&A with you guys on YouTube and you were like my grandma almost went pro. I said that. Yes, I said what are you? Again, lying. I've never told you before. I love to lie on this show and sometimes people tell me things and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:49:38 that's not true. I guys I I bet this was my grandma Mimi on my father maybe my father side. Okay, because he was an he my father was an athlete. So it makes. since that he came from greatness like her, ping pong. Olympics, it said? It said almost went pro. I don't know what pro would be. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Maybe your grandma Mimi would know. Right. She would. I think she died when I was four. So rest in peace. I was going to say like my fiancee loves ping pong, but we can't relate on that because you don't even know. Well, now I'm thinking back, I'm pretty dang good at ping pong.
Starting point is 00:50:13 I'm like, maybe you're in the wrong profession. I'm channeling something. Yeah. That could be true. Your dad was an athlete. Did you play basketball? He was. Oh, I don't know him.
Starting point is 00:50:22 I mean, we don't really talk anymore. I haven't talked to him in probably a decade. He was a double athlete, though. Oh, well, fuck him. Right. Yeah. Well, I won't, but. That would be pretty inappropriate.
Starting point is 00:50:34 I'll curse his bloodlines. Yeah. Past you. I'm like so at peace, you know, I feel like so at peace with things. But you channel it. And me, I'm like, well, maybe I should get a little round. I'm like, you know, I'm at peace. Like, people should go and live their lives.
Starting point is 00:50:49 You're like, why don't we hurt them? Yeah, I'll hurt them for you. Yeah. You won't have to be here. I'll do it. Look, I'm tired of you putting in all the hard work in the sweat. You're like, I got this. I'm like, no, I'm coming.
Starting point is 00:50:59 You're like, I don't need you. I know, I literally saw TikTok yesterday. I have a girl saying that like when men talk about misandress and they talk about how like, oh, women are hating men. She was saying, like, there's so few women who like genuinely feel that way. Like, it's like one per like 15 of women who are, would do anything. to defend men. So it's like there are many misogynistic women in the world that are so stark and rife that like there's no way it could balance out. Right. And she's up, but that's why I feel like maybe
Starting point is 00:51:29 that's why it's so strong in me. I got to pick up the fucking slack. Right. I got to carry the water. The weight of 14 others who are missing out. Exactly. I'm like, you don't hate them. It's okay. I'll hate enough for all of us. Right. I'll do it for us. Yeah. I actually, I think what really gets me going about men too is recently I found out that they don't wash their hands after they pee a lot of them. and I'm like, how dare you shake a hand? Oh, my God. How dare you ever shake a hand shake? You love to handshake.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Yeah, they love to touch hands. It's like, how does anybody have a good job when they don't wash? You got pee-pee hands. And you're a CEO? Bacteria. No, that's actually so real because my man does wash his hands after he goes to pee. But you have to, you're like, yeah. Well, I asked him once because I had seen it.
Starting point is 00:52:14 And I just can't even fathom, especially because, if you don't like if you don't identify as men you don't have a penis you're not and you just you sit down to pee you're not touching anything other than like flushing but even then you're like right flushing with your foot or something women women never flush the correct nobody's like everyone uses their foot because it's gross I don't even touch the door handle when I leave the restroom I can't imagine touching my literal dick and then going and being like no no need to wash my hands it's like they're like and then they go and do this uh-huh Yuck! That's what they do and they want me to not hate them. Like, you're crazy. I have no choice.
Starting point is 00:52:52 I do feel like they do so much to make it easy. If it wasn't so easy. That's what I'm saying. I'm like, when I, when people ask me like, because sometimes I don't even know why recently, like in some interviews I've had people ask me like, do you like, do you like, do you like, do you like, man? Like some bullshit ass question like that, which like, even if I did, what are you going to do about it? But second of all, more importantly, I'm like, well, yeah, this is a joke I always say, but it's kind of true. I always go, well, yeah, have you ever spent time with one? Right. Have you put in the hours? Have you?
Starting point is 00:53:20 Did you clock the hours I did? Because you'd fucking hate them too if you spent enough time with one. Right. Like just one. Just one singular one. Well, I would be scared if it was one. I'd be scared if it was two. Yeah, I've even said before that when you see like groups of men together,
Starting point is 00:53:36 chill down my side. Doing what? Do you doing the khaki short army coming towards us? Doing anything. Yeah. Just commiserating in general. when you see a group of them and they're all laughing at what you never look at them and go i wonder what they're laughing right when you look at them laughing you you i literally get pissed i get pissed off
Starting point is 00:53:54 i'm like what the fuck is so funny what are you guys laughing at i don't think anything should be funny to them it's never the men that think no no if a man is watching this right now it's never them it's always the ones who are like even me especially you actually um actually i couldn't see you so i'm glad you pointed yourself out yes yeah you You, you especially. I know. And I feel like my mentality obviously is not exclusive to me. I'm just like, I'm a straight woman who talks about it and has eyes on me.
Starting point is 00:54:25 But like, that's why lesbians have been feeling that way for years. Even gay men feel that way in a lot of ways. I was like, many gay people have been feeling that way for fucking years, like exactly the same way I feel, which is like, if you don't bother me, I won't bother you. I would, I would. To be left alone as a dream. I have men come up to me and I'm like, what do you think? going to happen here. We're wearing the same outfit. Who does what? I think you're wrong. I think you're wrong. You know? Knock it off. Leave me alone. I don't even know how that would work.
Starting point is 00:54:56 I was talking to one of my gay friends the other day and she told me she goes, I forget you're straight sometimes. She got to open his top. I was like, I'm sorry. My bad. That's all me. Me too. The amount of apologies I get from straight people in my DMs apologizing. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I am this like, Well, that's how it should be. Yeah. You're like, well, I don't forgive you. It's fine. Just don't do it around me or the kids.
Starting point is 00:55:20 And I wish you wouldn't televise it. What you do behind closed doors again is none of my business. I just don't want to see it. Yeah. Okay, this next fun fact says you own a clothing brand called B Nice Co. A, B Nice Co. That's it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Love that. How did that come to be? So it started out as like influencers doing March. Sorry. Now the gun's on me. Sorry. But yeah. To like a big part of my life has been mental health, right?
Starting point is 00:55:48 Like I am obviously terrible at trying to kill myself, so I'm here nonetheless. And so I think that I just like wanted to do a company that was very like, I see that you're here and I'm glad that you are. And sorry. Love that. Sorry. Like when people say that to me, I'm glad you're here. Sometimes it feels like, fuck all.
Starting point is 00:56:08 You can't kill yourself so you have to be. They're not very good at that. Right. Right. and just bringing that up one more time. Yeah. I think that's beautiful, though. I think it's a beautiful thing.
Starting point is 00:56:20 And I also think like anytime influencers do anything that isn't like making videos, it's like, no, an influencer is doing another fucking thing. Right. And like you could do, I could like go and do like dig up some some fucking archaeological fact. They'd be like, oh, nice. Now influencers are getting into paleontology. Right. Nice.
Starting point is 00:56:39 They're gentrifying everything. Nice. You can't eat. Now you can't spread your wings. Yeah. Yeah. No, I do. I think people, it's like, if I was looking at an influencer, I think a big part of me would be like, maybe I hate her too a little bit. Like it's easy to look at somebody in hate. You know, I choose to look in love. I don't know if that makes me better than people. I don't know. I don't know. Does that make me better that I would never leave a hate comment? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:04 And we're working with the team to discover that one. Jury's still out. So we're waiting on the decision. I agree with you though. I feel the same way. I've never been in a position. where I've been like, I'm going to write something fucked up. Like, I've never in my life been so, like, down bad on myself that I felt the need to do shit like that. Well, one of the things that we love about humans, right, is that, like, everybody has this bit of mystery to them. And when you're online, it's like, we could, we could have a few more questions. I wish they didn't have answers, you know? That that's just part of it.
Starting point is 00:57:36 I agree. And I've told people, too, when they, I'm sure you get this too. If people ask you for, like, advice on growing a platform or whatever. the first thing I always asked them, I was like, do you hate being like perceived? But more specifically, don't even factor personality, what you look like and just how you talk, how you stand, how you dress. Generally, the things that make you you, do you, does it bother you to think that someone might tell you they hate that? Right. Everything's up for discussion.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Yeah. About you. Yeah. If the answer is yes, don't do it. Every time I'm always like, don't do it. You have to be so good with you. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:10 Yeah, because this, I swear to fucking God, like this, I've even said to, you know, I've even said to, that in some, I'm a very confident, secure person, obviously based off my content. This job has given me insecurities that I was like, what the fuck? Like, sometimes, like, the shit people say to me, I'm like, like the wall-eyed thing is one I've said many times. And the pot-of-greed joke is another one I've said, I said that joke. And men were like, yeah, pot-agreed. And I'm like, it's not funny when you say. See how you ruin everything. Right. Everything. See when I was trying to be fun and you came in and you did.
Starting point is 00:58:44 We're all laughing and having fun. You join and we're like, this guy. It's like, it's that crowd noise reaction when they're like, ooh. That's how it feels. They say what you said louder. We're like,
Starting point is 00:58:54 we all, we heard it the first time. We did. No, we actually loved it the first time I said. It was worse a second. If I had a note, I wouldn't say it again.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Yeah, it's the same thing. And I've said to people like, if you care at all, what people could potentially say about just what you look like. Don't have an insecurity. Yeah. Don't do it. Don't do it. Do you have a fragile sense of self? Don't do this.
Starting point is 00:59:17 Right. Be so sure of your insecurity. Yeah, I always tell people if you're if you're not feeling good, don't do it. So when you logged off, do you just get, you've gotten in your head? Like, and as far as hate goes, getting hate, it depends on the kind. Because like when it comes from people that I love and it's like, it's under the guise of not like, I hate you, it's under the guys of like, you're not doing enough. You're not doing this. You're not doing that. You don't do this. You don't do that. That kind of shit. stays with me, which I'm working on in therapy. Like I said earlier, she said the gorilla's going nuts. You're right. I am. And so that's one. But like general hate, like from trolls, like fat, ugly, shit like that. Honestly, it's not good and I'm not proud of this. It excites me when I get those. It revs the engine. Yeah, it really, it feels like those smelling salts. And then I can go run a 40. Yeah. Like, that's how it feels to me. Yeah. But other kind of hate,
Starting point is 01:00:10 like that's more a testament to like integrity character like shit like that when it's coming from a very high and mighty place that kind of shit stays right because i'm like look into the mirror a little bit and i'm like well hold on yeah when i had that pause i always am like i log off for a little bit me too and that was kind of why i took my that was why i took my break actually um in December because like it was just getting to a point where it felt like again like a metaphorical gun just pointed at me every single time i did anything right even if i was just doing my normal shit or if I was minding my fucking business. Like that was another thing too.
Starting point is 01:00:43 And so it was just overwhelming me to the point where I was starting to think of myself as a different person, like starting to think I'm actually, maybe I might be a bad person. Right. When that started happening, I was like, I got to get off this shit. Because like, I'm not even making sense me a bad person. One thing I do love is myself. I am not going to let you guys convince me otherwise. But that was another thing where I was like, this is getting in my head so severely that
Starting point is 01:01:05 it's making me start to see myself differently. And that's not fucking fair to me. Sure. No matter how much. people love me it's not fair to me so like that's why I took time off and then it felt like that that YouTube video of Logan Paul pretending to be colorblind and then he puts on the thing and he's like whoa and he has tears in his eyes that's how felt I was touching grass for the first time yeah yeah I know sometimes it's like I'm sure you feel like this with your family I feel so thankful to have
Starting point is 01:01:30 like a good family yeah you know it's just so grounding like sometimes when stuff happens because I I want so badly to explain myself like a part of me is like you're like you're like you're You know I wouldn't mean it like that. Me too. Like I'm good here, you know. And I so badly want to explain myself, but it's like you can never. You can't, yeah. You know, some people are going to think that you're a bad person.
Starting point is 01:01:52 You have to feel like you're a good person. And so having family to just ground you sometimes. I agree. I agree. Like even if it's my brother's being like, don't post that selfie. You need to know you look a little bit fugly. I'm like seeing that. Because sometimes I feel a little too hot.
Starting point is 01:02:07 Like you'll always be funnier than you're hot. And that's like, I need it. Yeah, the humbling from family, I crave it at this point. Like, most especially normalcy. Like, just like things that have nothing to do with what I do for a living or who I am online. Right. Um, I need that too. Like, I need to be with real life people in real life.
Starting point is 01:02:26 Like, that was something I talk about in therapy a lot too, which is like, I need to remember that these people don't actually know me. Right. Um, like, 99% of the people that follow me do not know me literally at all. Um, so I have to like keep reminding myself about that. and family does help, especially like humbling jokes like that shit. Because I always say like one time my sister told me she saw one of my videos. And then she goes, yeah, that's the funniest one of you posted in a while. And I was all right.
Starting point is 01:02:52 And I loved you through it. But yeah. It was a rough go of it for a minute. I was going to ask if you needed some help. Yeah. One of my favorite stories to tell is my brother when he was in high school still. He was like, oh, one of the girls in my class said she was on TikTok. And I was like, my sister's on TikTok.
Starting point is 01:03:07 She has a lot of followers. Mind you, I'm doing this full time at the time. So I have like six, seven, no at the time. By the way, nine million people. And then I was like, oh, yeah. And he goes, yeah, then she asked me, oh, what's her handle? I want to look her up? And then I go, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:20 And I go, it's my first and last name, the one we share, by the way. And then he goes, well, how was I supposed to know that? Right. You got me there. How about tune in every now and then. Hey, you got me there. I'm on the ropes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Like, my fucking bad. Out of pettiness, my brother, who I think works with numbers in some way. I'm like, I don't fucking know. He tries to tell me, I don't know, sorry. And I don't listen. And some of the time I don't care. No, but he, like out of spite, he won't download TikTok. I'm like, okay.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Don't, hey, don't ever need me, though. Right, exactly. You know, I honestly, I think that's great. And even like my, my grandfather, like, I joked about this too. He was on, he's on TikTok. Has he ever watched me? No. How do I know that?
Starting point is 01:04:09 He told me. But he's trying to get to the page. Yeah, well, he told, well, no. No, my grandpa knows how to work TikTok. That's the worst part. Like, he knows. And he has favorite people on there. Sometimes he'll tell me like, oh, I watch this guy.
Starting point is 01:04:19 I go, oh, I know that guy. And then he goes, do you? Ah. Yes, I've been doing this for a while. But then he told me to my face, like, I don't watch you. And I go, is there any particular reason why? And he goes, I don't need to see all that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:33 Did you let him know that you also don't watch him? Is he posting? All that. What are you talking? What do you think I'm doing on there? And he's just like, nah. Like, truly, he's like, I have other people I'd rather watch. Not my style.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Not my style. Do you have any faves on TikTok you like to watch? Oh my gosh. Of course. Like random fabs. Yeah, I think I do. We have, like, on Holland and I's Bel Air's account, too, they're so the gay community. I like love it.
Starting point is 01:04:59 Like, when I get older lesbians on my feet, I'm like, oh, yeah, I love that. I gotta stop making the suicide jokes. Like, we got to get there, baby. Maybe, you know. So, like, I feel like I've so many gay creators I watch. But also, like, I love the rich white girls or the rich halls. I, like, eat it up. I'm like, oh.
Starting point is 01:05:20 You know what's so funny is Alex Earle before she, like, and I sound like one of those people. I knew her before she. Right. I literally sound like that, but I'm dead ass. She had, like, maybe 10,000 followers. I watched her one video that blew the fuck up. It was like a tailgate video or some shit. I remember distinctly going,
Starting point is 01:05:38 have you ever seen this girl to my sister? Because I had seen her like twice. And each time I watch her like she's the monkey in the zoo because I cannot relate to a lifestyle less. And I watch them like they're aliens. I'm like, oh my God, that's crazy. It's beautiful. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:52 And I watch it. I'm like interesting. I feel like right, right. Like I'm studying her like right. This is what they do. Interesting. It feels like I'm in enemy territory. I'm also a straight girl.
Starting point is 01:06:03 But it feels like I'm watching it. We're so different. friend. But I remember seeing her shit and I'd be, I would be like, man, I can't relate to anything less. That's cool though. That is crazy 10,000 followers. That's what I mean.
Starting point is 01:06:15 You were there. Literally a year later, I was like, what the fuck? When I saw her, I was like, Jason literally told me. She was like, I think that's the girl you showed me that one time. Remember that girl you were watching all night and writing things down about? She blew up. I look at my hands like, the power I hold. Who do I pick next?
Starting point is 01:06:34 The king mightest touch. Who am I going to touch next? I do have a few faves that I love to watch. Like, I just randomly, they'll come across my shit. And I'm like, oh, my show is on perfect. Have you ever heard of Dr. Parkinson's Dean? No. I'm about to put y'all on.
Starting point is 01:06:49 Put me on. Put me on. Dr. Parkinson's, literally this guy. He lives, I think, in Texas. He is obsessed with, like, the early 1900s period. So it's like anything past 1934, get out of town. All of his, his apartment. his appliances, his cars, everything from like 1910 to 1920.
Starting point is 01:07:10 Like all with, he dresses like that. He also dances like they did back then. He makes, he makes, he moves, rah. Yeah, he does, what does he call it? Fuck, the Charleston. He does it all the time. He'll post an eight minute video and it's just him doing that one move for eight minutes. I'll watch every minute.
Starting point is 01:07:26 I'm not getting. He's got a fan in me. I watch every time I'm like, yes. Every time I see him, I'm like, Dr. Park and see, yes. People that are so themselves. I love him. I'm obsessed with him. His life is in black and white.
Starting point is 01:07:37 Like he's like, these cool cats down the street are trying to get me. He puts these like end cards on his videos too. And it's literally an old timey photograph of himself that he had someone take and turn into an old. He's older? No, he's like 22. That's why I was like, he's also a genius. Like I see him build cars and shit.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Yeah. Like his old like old old old old like Ford like trucks like 1920 cars. He fixes them up and drives them around town. And he's wearing. He's like. And he has a little hat on it. That's what social media was supposed to be. I'm telling you.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Like people with these niche interests who are just like, this is my life. Like if you like it if it's not for you, whatever. Yes. I'm obsessed. Yeah, you've got to send it to me. I will. And there's another woman I watch on, she's Australian. Her name's Fadon.
Starting point is 01:08:23 She's a marriage lawyer. Like she helps with divorces and stuff in Australia. Oh, love that. No particular reason to love her other than she makes platters. Like she makes her own like charcutory boards like at home and shit. A girl has a hot. hobby. Yes. And she's a working mom. And she's literally just like, it's, she goes, Saturday platter day. She always says that. And she goes, Saturday night, we eat platters. Why? Because we
Starting point is 01:08:44 don't fucking cook on Saturdays Saturdays Saturdays. I dead as she says it every time. She's a white woman. You all love when white people rhyme. Saturday, platter day. I'm in. I'm locked in. And she has a bunch of different kinds of platters. She cuts everything by hand, puts it all 15 minute videos. I'm watching the whole goddamn thing. I'm sitting there. I'm like, I get caught up in like storylines. Like right now I'm doing a storyline where this woman is like fighting the health care system for one of her clients and she like keeps calling these people and she's like but she's a doctor so she's like very disappointed. And I'm like that
Starting point is 01:09:18 means she's fucking pissed bitch. And then you have to go back, go to their thing, go down to recently posted and then you have to like catch up on all your lore. Yeah. It's going slow because it's the health care system and insurance companies but I'm there every day checking in. I know every time. Sometimes sometimes I forget and I'm like, I'm going to follow them. And then I just follow them. They never follow me back. Like random accounts like that, but I don't go fuck.
Starting point is 01:09:40 I just follow them because I'm like, I got to keep up with you. Sometimes it's like, I'm okay not being your vibe, but you're definitely my vibe. I'm like, this woman probably wouldn't like me that much. I was like, but you got a fan in me. Right. And I'm there. I am supporting you. For sure.
Starting point is 01:09:55 I love Disney people too. I love watching them. Yeah, I'm married to one of those. one of those I do love Disney but not to that extent like the extent that they go they'd be saying shit that I'm like what are you talking about like they're like
Starting point is 01:10:11 oh these new drops just dropped in this store and all that the pins mystery pin Monday right very familiar right yeah I got like Blake's popnook love him Megan the magical millennial you ever heard of her clock that tea if you like it clock that tea girl Megan the magical millennial love her
Starting point is 01:10:29 I didn't know it would be that serious and then I get there and Holland's like, and go. And I'm like, I like, loser. I'm like, you need to wear a sparkly hat or something so I can find you. I mean, it just, she, she knew the routes to get to places. I mean, I think we did like 24 miles. I'm like, that's a marathon, mind you. You did 20,000 steps. Yeah. I can't, I can't walk the next morning.
Starting point is 01:10:51 She's like, we got another thing to explore. We got another day, so let's get up. She's like, we're doing two parks today. We got the park hopper. And I'm like, can I get a wheelchair? Girl, what does any of this mean? Right. Yeah. I went to Disney World for my brother's birthday. He wanted, that's why we were in Florida, because he wanted to drink around the world. Oh, yeah. In Disney World, which we didn't even end up doing, went to two countries and gave up because it was too hot. But we went to all four parks in one day, which is just crazy town, insane. She's like, unbelievable. You don't do it like that. To it most. Too much, true. And I remember we went on the dinosaur ride. Have you ever been on that ride? Yes. Yes. You guys believe she used.
Starting point is 01:11:30 looking at her going yes i like blacked out i was like i was it was it was fighter flight it was it was we went on the dinosaur ride it's like kind of like it's just you're in a car and then you're going through and it's like bumpy but it's the one where you're looking for a dinosaur but the whole entire ride is pitch black okay oh my head was probably down the whole time yeah this is you know about me i have megalopopobias which is like a fear of anything way too large like anything way too big okay so like most like animatronic scared the fuck out of me like when i walked in here you were like hold on i said oh who's stopping on in yeah it's me and i said oh that's just alley anyways i'm sorry anymore anyways you're so you're
Starting point is 01:12:11 scared of big things yes i'm terrified of like every time you get successful you're like it's too big yeah too big i'm just too strong like the avatar like the blue avatar movies yeah i spiritually feel very connected to those movies but the size of those aliens scares the fuck out of me. Yeah. Is it open things? It's more so like mammals or animals of any kind that are large. She's like if a hippopotam, I'm like, like, the big, big ocean and you're like, no, really the hippo. Exactly. Like if I saw a couch that was really big, I wouldn't be afraid. But whales scared the fuck out of me. Yeah. Like, have you ever seen Life of Pie? Where he's on the boat with a Yeah. The tiger. Yes. But there's a scene where like a whale like shoots up right next him.
Starting point is 01:12:55 Yep. I would have killed myself that night. I'm not making it. Sorry. How? I'm out. I would have just... You're trying to drown yourself if you look down the ocean's shoes. I just lay flat. I'd lay flat. Me thinking it out, I really did. I would literally lay flat with my head face down in the water and I just accept my face. The ocean just feels so big to me.
Starting point is 01:13:12 That feels like I'm trying to understand your... Something would have killed me way before that, but if for some reason I did survive to that point, I'm dying that night. I do think about that. How long do you think you last in bad situations? Not long. Like, zombie apocalypse, how many days till you try to end it? probably a couple days. I fight for a year and then I'm gone.
Starting point is 01:13:33 The iPhone battery is so weak nowadays. Yeah, once my AirPods die, I'm out. You like, everybody gets a cold around you and you're like, well, no, uh. Don't be coughing on me. Or actually coughed directly in my mouth. I want to die too. Like, I'm real suicide packed. Like, that's what I'm doing.
Starting point is 01:13:49 Yeah. Any, like, handmade's tale situation, like, apocalyptic, I'm out. I'm out, but. You don't fight a little bit. You just seem like such a fighter. I yeah until it gets to a point right I'm like what's the point I'm also I also too like I think about
Starting point is 01:14:05 well I said this in in a podcast once because he had asked me that joke that jokingly like oh handmade sale situation and I was like I'm killing myself easily like suicide pack and he's like really I go well no actually what I think I would do would I would surrender myself to like the home base but then I would just rip my shirt off and I bomb strapped to my chest take as many people out as possible right you've thought about it
Starting point is 01:14:25 yeah I'm going out what if I this is my thing though what if I told you that there were 200 women in a room with a man who was verbally abusing them? Well, then, yeah, I'd jump in on that action. You'd be like, okay, maybe a year. I'll map it out. Until that's done and he's dead, then I'm dead. You're like, I go. Well, I said, well, is that it?
Starting point is 01:14:46 All right, I'm out. Yeah. And I think I, like, do you think you would survive? No, no, no, no, no, no. By choice or just for, like. Like, you can't kill yourself? Like, you take yourself out or you would think you would? would be killed uh both both i just don't i don't think i have any good qualities for survival
Starting point is 01:15:03 you know i don't i think i'm small like i can't really hide well my fluorescent skin is going to come like i'm trying to hide in the mud and they're like okay alley get up i can see you you're shining it's like twilight they're like we knew where to come because we saw you glistening right the calpine actually told me that exact thing she's like i know no trades i'm like useless yeah But then I was like, but you can sing. So you'd be like that bitch in The Hunger Game. Rachel Ziegler's character, Lucy Gray. You'd be her.
Starting point is 01:15:33 Right. I have no talent. No. No. No, I think you got it. Yeah. Now, if it's a planet of the ape situation, I would think I would survive because I would make peace with the monkeys.
Starting point is 01:15:45 I feel like we would have a real mutual understanding. Yeah. Like to each other. Like, we're cool. Uh-huh. I like. Well, that sounds like a good situation for you, but once again, I think they fuck me up.
Starting point is 01:15:56 I think they fuck me in every. They'd be like, this one's too pale and too weak. Too pale. And I don't like her vibe. Honestly, I think she should be the first to go. Honestly, she's kind of a fucking bitch. Right. And I'm out.
Starting point is 01:16:08 And I'm out. And I'm like, respect that too. So I'm like, take me. That's fair. That's what I said when I've been like, I think I'm too annoying to survive. Like they would kill me because they'd be like, oh my God, kill her. She's annoying.
Starting point is 01:16:19 I just have a lot of bad ideas. Like somebody's like, there's a noise down there. And I'm like, I'll go check. They're like, no worries. I'll be right back. Yeah. They're like, you're not supposed, have you seen a movie fucking ever? Like, do not go down there.
Starting point is 01:16:33 And then you're just kind of like, sure. I think it's the aries in you. Yeah, I do too. I think I'm like too curious. I would hear a noise and like run towards it. And they're like, bad decision. As usual, Allie, you continue to amaze us. Okay, one last fun fact.
Starting point is 01:16:47 But it's actually, I'm going to ask you if you can debunk this one. Okay. We're not sure if it's true. But it was on Google. Sure. It says AI Google says, that Ali and her wife met rock climbing. That is,
Starting point is 01:16:59 this is, they're pushing something on us. They met at a Subaru dealers. They were both wearing chakos. Right. Pride flag. They both had pride colored hair. So they related on that.
Starting point is 01:17:13 Right. Yeah, no, no, no. That's not true. So we, so we don't like to say where we met on the internet or anything about like getting married and stuff just because I think people are so quick.
Starting point is 01:17:24 I would never host a wedding on TikTok because I think they dissect it. Right. And they're like, oh, not how I do it. And it's like, well, I don't really give a damn if you don't like salmon. Well, good thing you didn't marry me. Yeah, you would hate it. For you.
Starting point is 01:17:36 Bullet Dodge. Thank God. Yeah. So no rock climbing, not at all. I did. I used to tell people I said, we met in a parking lot because Holland hit me with her car. And like, people loved that. I was like, I was like, it was nice because I was such a hoe, you know, and it was the first
Starting point is 01:17:50 time somebody had hit it and stayed. I was like, she gave me CPR. It was our first kiss. and they were like eating it up. I was like, this is so, like, you know this has to be like, I'm lying. I'm actively lying to you. And you know I am. Like, don't make me say it.
Starting point is 01:18:04 And honestly, it's kind of hurting my feelings that you believed me so easily. Right. Can I be distra-no, not true? Not rock climbing. No, we did do rock climbing. We had an awesome gym in Pittsburgh. But that started like three years ago, maybe, or something. Like, we had been, we were, yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:21 Man, AI Google is also being very homophobic. They also said I'm 31 on there. And like, it's starting to get a little unfair. Like, there was a rumor that went around that Holland and I had an age gap and were like 16 months apart or something. And like, it blew up and people were like, ooh, a 12 year age gap. And I was like, not one. Not one comment said, no way. They just immediately started calling you a predator.
Starting point is 01:18:49 Everybody, yeah. I was like, not one person said, damn, need her skin care. Everyone was like, yikes. Everyone was like, that makes a lot of sense. Yeah. I was like, and I looked pretty, I like looked in the censored comments. Not one of you wants to correct this, huh? That's kind of fucked up. Not one of you wants to take up for me. Who, who's older? Not none of that. I don't believe that. They look really. Everyone said, Holland, Holland, really? Allie would do that?
Starting point is 01:19:16 And I'm like, what if Holland's the predator? How come I'm the oldie? And I asked, I said, what if Holland's the predator? And they said, oh, no. They said she would never and don't ever talk about her like that again. Have you seen her skin? They said, ask her for her skin care routine. I had four skincare brand, brand deals coming through. All of them dropped. They said, they said, no skin like that.
Starting point is 01:19:41 Oh, we thought it was your wife. They said, yeah, they said real hot a 26-year-old 13 months ago. Who people think is 40? They don't want the recipe to that one. You were talking about your skincare routine. And everybody said they didn't want it. And everyone said yours is terrible. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:36 We posted a video the next day because I thought it would get traction and Holland's blew up in mind was like, no. You're like, right. Okay, baby. Well, what is your morning routine? So I try to wake up as soon as possible. Right. That's essential to waking up in the morning.
Starting point is 01:20:51 10.30. You know, I wake up, I splash some water on the face. I use some Drew's favorite products. I do a Red Bull and then I go on a run. There you go. No bouldering. No bouldering anymore. No.
Starting point is 01:21:05 Now you're into running. You can be a marathon person now? I'm running away from a lot of things lately. Eat something. Right. Keep me pushing. Distracted. Out of breath.
Starting point is 01:21:14 Can't think. But enough time and energy to do your morning routine. Always. Hopefully with products from Sephora. Wouldn't that be so nice? I would love that. Period. I've never had, I did have at one point when you would Google my name and I think they've changed it since.
Starting point is 01:21:47 Maybe it's because I was bitching about it, but like the only picture that would pop up was literally, it was a glamp, like it was like a Getty photo from a carpet I did years ago. So I hate the fucking hairstyle and I hate the makeup. And so does my hair makeup artist. We both hate it collectively. I don't know what we thought we were doing. But it's not just that picture. It's my head turned into like a fat head. So it's like, it's like blown out.
Starting point is 01:22:13 It's expanded. Yeah, it looks like that picture of Patrick or no, Squidward when Patrick sits on his face and it's just too big butt cheeks. Like, that's literally what my face looks like. And it was just in like my Harris licked back like this. So I look bald. I'm sure the lighting's not great. And I literally took a picture of it because I was like, why the fuck is this the only
Starting point is 01:22:30 picture that pops up when you Google me? How come everyone's like? Oh my God, mine's so cute. And that's what mine fucking looks like. Yeah. So what happens is they actually go to your worst enemy and have them pick the photo. And then that's it forever. The person who hates you the most, they're like, take a photo for her.
Starting point is 01:22:43 Do it. Also, there was a thing going around for a while that men like genuinely did not believe I was tall, like at all. Like they thought I was just constantly lying about it, which I would lie about that. Don't get me wrong. But like, I'm not lying about it. No, I absolutely would. And if I was going to lie, I would say it was like 6'4.
Starting point is 01:22:59 Right. Because that's taller than most men. There's never, you're not going to, it's going to be a purposeful lie. Yeah. Okay, I'm lying for a purpose. It's going to go big or go home. Right. I'd say I'm like 6.9 by that measure.
Starting point is 01:23:09 Are you right at 6 foot? Yes. So they hate that because they're all claiming six foot. Yeah, absolutely. And if I can see your scalp, you're looking more like a five nine. Look, and I need to get more on your vibe. You take three inches. I took two. Yeah, it's the same thing like when I tell men like when I insult them and I just bring up height, I don't even know how tall they are. I just say five, six because that's like the funniest height to me because it's, it's short, but not that short. But short for a guy. For a guy. Right. For girls. But it's fine because you're six too. Right. Thank you. Five eight.
Starting point is 01:23:39 also like alona mar have you met alonamara oh my gosh have i okay alona is the shortest out of her siblings and she's like five 10 yeah so her sisters her sisters are are much taller than her like her younger sister i think is like six two six three yeah i was like big women big one of us she's a legend yeah i'm like i'm like whenever she posts i'm like wherever you need us we'll go she's like i think she's like i think i survived the apocalypse anything let her do it yeah I follow her. I wouldn't follow us. Me too.
Starting point is 01:24:12 We met her in a, we met her at the mall, at the grove. And I like look over and I'm like, hi. She's like, you're that little TikToker, huh? Yeah. No, she's so nice. I get it. She's great. And then we got to see her own dancing with the stars.
Starting point is 01:24:28 Love her. Legend. She's fantastic. Love her. I'm glad to hear that you and your wife did not meet rock climbing. No, that would be way too cliche. That would, that does sound like, I hate that you even put it out into the universe. Because like-
Starting point is 01:24:40 Start that rumor now. Like there's a lesbian movie coming now. It's coming. Falling in love rock climbing? Right. Falling. There you go. In love.
Starting point is 01:24:50 TM. T.M. Ali T.m. The climb by Miley Cyrus. Oh, you're writing it for them. Chill. You're writing it for them. I'll collect the check.
Starting point is 01:25:01 Were you guys big rock climbers? Did you guys like road climbers? Did you guys like road climb? I got a little too into it and then you have to back up. Right. You got it back up. Yeah. I was.
Starting point is 01:25:08 I'm glad you said that. because I do have, I don't feel good about it, but I do have kind of a judgment about people who love rock climbing. No, yeah, and I, I probably relate to it a lot. And it, there's something about it. Like,
Starting point is 01:25:19 I just feel like, like one time someone on our other podcast said that she got a major ick from a dude who loved rock climbing because he said, and I think it was like a quote, he said it's like the intellectual, like puzzle peat, like puzzling of athletics or something bullshit like that. Right. It made me so angry I started shaking.
Starting point is 01:25:41 What the fuck are you talking about? It's fake. Anything that's fake like that, like you're fake climbing a mountain, you know? Like, it's like the people who are really good at the game where you drive the car. Yeah, like F1 kind of wasting.
Starting point is 01:25:52 Yeah. You're like, well, you're not there, so relax. Yeah. You're not actually doing it. So relax.
Starting point is 01:25:56 The reason why I got into it is because I was like, I want to be active, but I'll do anything but go to the gym. That's fair. So Holmes, like, rock climbing. And I was like, ah, it's a little, I was like,
Starting point is 01:26:07 every day. we pulled up in the Subaru, I was like, but I like, feels hat on the hat. It was my, it was so queer friendly. I was like, I love it here.
Starting point is 01:26:15 Love that though. No, that was great. Well, no wonder you were getting so into it. Yeah. Safe space. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:26:22 Was it like bouldering or was it like, it was bouldering. But I would never correct you. You say rock. On my show. Right. I'm chained to this chair. That's why I know,
Starting point is 01:26:35 well, the difference is that bouldering, you don't have any harnesses or anything, right? Right. Well, gays always wear the harness. I'm always strut. They're like, you're bouldering. I'm like, yeah, but I still have the harness. I brought my harness from home.
Starting point is 01:26:46 Right. Yeah. Yeah, no harness. So you just fall like 20 feet. Shit. Onto a mat. Right. Pretty small.
Starting point is 01:26:54 But then you get back up again. Some do. And that's the story of life. Right. And that's how we met. She helped you up like this. Yeah. We were both climbing and we locked eyes and I was like,
Starting point is 01:27:05 all of a sudden you're really good. You know, it's crazy how everything is connecting. But I had said once, I was like, I think that Jason Momoa loves bouldering. Like, he loves, he loves shit like that. Yeah. Which I have said, and I don't stand by this in case I ever meet him. Uh-huh. He might be annoying.
Starting point is 01:27:25 Right. But like, sometimes let him. It's okay, though. I'm annoying. Right. In other ways. I just think that Pete, like, let him. I feel like Mel Gibson.
Starting point is 01:27:37 Let him. Let them. It's fine. Some people are annoying. It's fine. Don't hang out with them. You can be annoying in many different ways. Right.
Starting point is 01:27:44 But the area is not all the time. Sometimes we have to take a break. You got a pace. That's why you're a little too into it. Right. Take a step back. Take a step back. Look in the mirror.
Starting point is 01:27:55 And attack again when ready. There you know. When I've struck balance, then I can reenter my rock climate case. And I'll know when that is. You'll sense it one day. You'll wake up. Right. Well, thank you so much for coming on the show.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Thanks for having me. fucking love you i love you you're so fun i'm so glad our cross paths oh my gosh obviously paths crossed don't correct me yeah yellow road all over again i'm so glad yeah we all got to hang out you me victoria paris and some boulder what a group oh let's just drink and let's just boulder let's just see where the wind takes us yeah yeah well thank you so much for coming on the show i think you're fucking hilarious and so fun.
