You know what's funny is when we witnessed it happen again, like the history repeat itself. You were like, oh, I wish I was there the first time because I wasn't. Oh, yeah, you weren't there. And then Shalind goes, you were there.

And then you were, was I? And then Shalick goes, you were literally sitting at the table with us. And then you were like, I don't remember. I do not recall. You were like, well, but we saw tea. We were literally like talking about the tea from last year. And then the tea walked in the room. it was actually quite crazy spilled all over us i was dripping wet

scalding hot it was really scary but it was but it was fun bonded yeah we bonded seriously something about those parties like weird shit happens and you're like did anyone else watch that or was it just me yes the weirdest vibe in those parties the strangest energy it's either like really stale like like you don't want to be there or it's like the exact opposite or it's like super exciting but but I feel like in those rooms everybody's experiencing both at the same time totally and it's a warring of emotions yes and you're experiencing it together yes it's and it's so funny I keep bringing this up because this happened last week when I filmed but I've told people like sometimes people are like I can't believe you don't get starstruck like meeting and

you've met so many people too and I was like you would be surprised do you get starstruck oh you don't not at all not for anybody Beyonce walks into the room No, Beyonce was the only person. I was just about to say. I saw that happen. Don't act sick. She was the only person that ever made me feel like that. And I was truly like, I felt because I was meeting her at the same time as Brittany, we were standing together outside.

I truly was thinking, I have to lock in right now or I'm going to unleash something in that room that I can't take back. The room's going to set up in flames. It's something bad's going to have it. I'm going to black out. I'm going to wake up like the Incredible Hulk. Naked in a ditch. Beyonce is, naked in a what? Beyonce is so serious.

She is. I feel like they're, I don't get, I'll only get starstruck over a real housewife. Okay, T. That's like the only, your favorite housewives? I, or what's your favorite like version? Yeah. Atlanta is the best one. Obvy.

Or it used to be. They're struggling right now. But I like, I was walking on the street and I was rewatching the real house size of Atlanta. Okay. And I was rewatching it with my boyfriend. And we were walking down Melrose. And I was like, why is there a crowd drawn up here? Like, what's going on?

And Nini Leaks was standing in the street doing like street interviews. And I could not believe my eyes. I like literally couldn't believe it. I love Neney. Yeah, that was crazy. She's funny. And honestly, she cracked me the fuck up on when she was on Glee. Oh, my God.

Her character on Glee. People forget. Nini was on Glee. Yeah, literally. That's history. Oh, please. A bronze medalist. Insane. So funny.

So good. Coming for Sue's gig. Yeah. That was, she was hilarious on that fucking show. I love her. She needs another shot. I need, I honestly need more, I need to study up more on housewives. I don't really know much about housewives.

We can fix that. We can, you can, give me some homework. I feel like every podcast I do, I just talk about housewives the entire time. You're just doing PR. Like, here we go. Yeah. They should hire me. But you need to get into housewives of Atlanta.

I think that's like the one that you, If you'd watch it, you'd be like, oh, this is funny. Okay, too. It is, like, funny. Okay, love. There's so many, like, memes and stuff from that show. There are. I know, like, isn't, like, that one that's like, that's my opinion.

That's from Orange County. Yes. Yeah. But there's so many housewives, housewife memes. Like, it's crazy. Yeah, like inside jokes that have turned into, like, internet jokes, but they originated from. Yeah. And honestly, Nini has so many iconic lines.

Many iconic lines. Right. Refrigerator. Are you kidding me? Yeah. when I saw that white refrigerator. And you know what? Somebody said she changed the refrigerator industry.

You cannot have a white refrigerator in this day and age. She shifted it drastically. It's embarrassing. Yeah. Because then people say the quote. It's horrible. That's horrible. I love to talk about your start on like just social media in general.

Because obviously if everyone should know who Bowman is. If you don't, you're either brand new. to TikTok or you're crazy. You need a life and a job. Yeah, and you're a loser. Yeah. And you smell bad. And it's science. Yeah. So don't know what to tell you. But I'm curious, like, how did you get into content creation? Like, what made you want to start? Because obviously, you're known for your iconic, like, reality TV show sketches. But I know, I feel like you're a sketch comedy girl. Like, you really love sketch comedy, which I love to. So I'd love to know how you got started. Like, well, what were you doing beforehand? Yeah, yeah. So legend has it. I was

studying radio and television. My degree was media production. Okay, period. And this was 2019. And I was, TikTok was not cool yet at all. That was around the time I heard about TikTok too, 2019.

I was dating a guy who was on TikTok, and it was a red flag. It was like he uses TikTok. That's like embarrassing. You have to like stop seeing him. Yeah, because how old are you? I am 26. Okay, I'm 28.

So I, around that time, You're kind of like, everyone's so young. Because it was still a young app. It was like thirst-trappy. Like, yes. And dancing. I remember downloading the app to cringe watch TikToks with my friends. Yeah, me too.

You know what's funny is I also downloaded it because one of my cousins was making secret TikToks. And I just wanted to see what she was posting. That era was crazy. You had like a friend or like a family member start to make TikToks. And it was like, we have to tune in. I had to go look. And unfortunately, I was that person for many people. Right.

Because I started making TikToks. My friend was like, he showed me Jack in and in. Love him. Who actually, like, lived in my neighborhood at the time. And I would see him around and be like, oh, my God, that's Jack. And my friends were like, you know how to like edit videos. Yeah. You're kind of funny.

Why don't you like try? And I was like, no. Ew. Yeah. Then that guy that I was seeing went viral. And he's not funny. So I was like, wait, if he can do this. Wait a second.

I could do this. Yeah. And so then I remember having... Not spite motivation. Literally. No, literally. I was like, I got to get him. And so then I started making TikToks.

My first TikTok was like me telling my other two brain cells that I'm going to start making TikToks. And it was like a conversation with myself. Okay, too. And then I think it was like February 2020. I made, I started making these reality TV TikToks where I would take mundane problems and turn them into these like reality TV epics. Yeah.

Um, they, it was just like what I was just doing them for fun at the beginning. And you add the, the noises and the noises and the sounds. Yes. Yeah. Um, I actually had a digital series on YouTube. Yeah. Um, in high school called read it and weep. Read like my last name.

Genius. Cute. And, um, I was like making like a reality TV show with my friends. And so that's, is that just cause or was. Is it through school? I was like obsessed with the housewives. Okay. So then I remember telling my family one day, like, I want my own TV show.

And then my brother was just like, why don't you just make it? And I was like, oh. So that's why I started that in high school. Oh my gosh, how weirdly full circle. I know. I know. So then I started that in high school and then stopped doing it. And then when TikTok was cool, I was like, wait, I know how to like mock edit reality TV.

Why don't I try this? So I remember the headache that it, like the headache I had. where I was trying to figure out how to take a whole reality TV storyline and put it into one minute. Yeah, because that was before 10 minutes. Yes. Yeah. And so I was like trying to figure it out. Anyway, I made this one video where my professor sent me the read the syllabus email.

Yeah. And I was so stabbed in the back and I went back to bed. And then I made another one where this actually happened. Yeah. I had a roommate at the time. And I opened the door to my room. I saw a pile of dirt on the ground and a broom next to it. and I was like, what is that?

He had swept, but he left the dirt beside the garbage. Just because? Just for me to clean up, I guess. He's all, you know what to do. I was literally, I was so pissed. This guy never cleaned, ever. And the one time he does, I have to finish it. Are you kidding me?

He couldn't even, he couldn't even put it in inside. It's like right next to it. So I looked at it and I was like, should I make a TikTok about this? So I was. The brain rot started. Literally. Yeah. So then I made a TikTok where.

where I was shot in the gut from the disrespect. I fall to the floor. Much like the dirt on the ground, I am worthless. I decide to pass away. And then the rest of the video is me lying there dead. Yeah. And then that went viral.

And then a few weeks later. Was that your first one? That was the first one. Yeah. And that was crazy. It was like, oh my God, this is what it's like to get like two million views on a video.

Yeah, really. Yeah. It's a crazy feeling. It's crazy. And then I was also like posting them on TikTok. And then I was posting them on Twitter. So that they would go viral on Twitter too.

Because that's what was happening with like, Rosa and Brittany. But I was like, I'm doing this to go. Like, I'm not doing this for fun. This is, I was like, I'm going to put in the work here. No, I have a mission. Yeah. I will accomplish it.

Of course. Absolutely. So then 2020 happened. Then it was a pandemic. Yeah. And then I had nothing to do but to make videos and nobody else had anything to do but to watch my videos. Yeah.

And I made a video with my friend Eden where she coughs and it went directly into my mouth. I had a vision and that went like very viral and that changed my life. I actually think I remember the, I think the cough was the first one's the person I ever saw of you. Yeah, I think that's the first one I ever saw of you. Yes. And you're going like, it was like directly in my mouth.

Directly. She coughed directly. No, she caught directly into my mouth. Like, it was scary. But that is how it happened. That's how it started. That's crazy. And you know, it's so funny to how like you're one of the few people I've met whose degree is like

being used like mine is too. Oh, period. Yeah, because I did journalism and communications. But I did media journalism, so I was mostly trying. I always had to do packages. I'd learn how to edit, had to learn to talk on camera. And I recently was telling my boyfriend, I was like, you want to hear something so humiliating. I was privating a bunch of old-ass videos, like some of my very first ones when I was like kind of having a little bit of falling, but nothing substantial at all.

I was just making them for fun. Yeah. But I was the way I, it's not because anything's bad in them. It's the way I'm talking, I fucking hate. And it's because I talked like a media person. So I like, I would make my- Today on Drew Offalo's TikTok. You're crazy.

I literally was talking like two octaves higher because my voice sits at a pretty low register. For a woman. So like, trust me, I hear it all the time from the minute of Amy. Oh my gosh. But I love the tenor of my voice. But it's like I was making it higher and more like sing-songy almost. Like it's humiliating. I can't imagine.

And I'm sorry I someone was like going through. It was the same person but they were going and like watching my earliest videos. And then they were liking all of them. And I told my way, I was literally just following that person. I was following them every single one they like. I click on it. Oh,

oh, hate it private. And then I'd click on it. Oh, hate it private. Like I was following breadcrumbs. Dare. Watch my old videos. Me either. Oh my God.

I would not dare like 2021 backwards. I know. Horrific. Oh, it's. I will, I will not watch it. That's how I feel too. And at the time, oh, I thought I was so cool. I thought I was so funny and a genius.

And now if I look back, especially like there was an era where I had kind of given up. It was like 2021. And in Canada, our lockdown, I forget. I forget. I know. Our lockdown was forever. Like it went from March 2020 until literally like, what was called? Omicorn?

Omicron. Omarion. It went on for... Omicorn. Omicorn. What's the name of that fucking strain? Whatever that was. Now I'm freaking out because I can't say anything there.

But it went on for months. Yeah. There was a point where I was like, oh, I give up. And I was making these like green screen videos where I was like me as if I were, I would just like pick a job, like a doctor or like me as a politician or something. And they're like fine. Yeah. Oh my God, like... Do you cringe watching it?

It's so cringy, like, stop. That's how I feel too, honestly. So, so horrible. Yeah, when I look at the old ones, I'm like, when I look at it, I'm like, I wouldn't have followed me. No. I'm glad other people did, but I... Literally.

I'm actually quite annoying when I watched the old... Quite horrible. Yeah. Hey, I get why I was getting all that racism and fanphobia back then. I get it. How would I hated me too? You add on top of what it is I actually am doing. Oh, man.

I love and like it. Yeah, but I find that so fucking cool, though, that you're, like, able to utilize your degree to the extent, especially with the level of editing that you do. I'm so tired. Because I was actually going to ask you if you edit your own stuff. I edit all of my, like, all of it. I still edit all of it.

Do you film on a, do you film on a camera? I use, like, a little vlog camera to film because it has a beauty filter. That's the only reason why. And that's tea. And that's tea. Like, I want to look flawless. Obviously. And I don't want to do the work.

No. Yeah, I edit everything myself. I'm tired. I'm even when I, but even when I like ask for help, I'll like post on my story, hey, is there anybody want to like edit my videos or something? And people will be like, I would love to. I still can't give it to somebody else. Like it's just like I can't.

To me, it's so much easier if I just spend the half an hour and do it. That's how I do it too. Yeah. You still edit all of your own videos too. Oh yeah, girl. Every single one. But I'm one of the few like fucking colonial women on the app who like, films in app like i'll film in app in in their camera i know every time i tell another

consecrated that or one like one like you or someone who has like a lot of followers too with someone else they'll literally be like you're fucking crazy you're crazy that you edit and i edit them in there too sometimes isn't i it's i'm one of those the idea of you being like hold on i just got to edit this video is wild like what do you say that because brittney has a picture of me because we went away from my sister's 30th birthday. We went to San Diego and like we were all staying in the same like little thing I rented. And the after the night we got there the next morning, her and I both had some work to do.

And so some other people did too. So we were editing like brand deals and stuff and we were sitting next to each other. But I was editing on my phone and she was editing on her laptop. And I was literally, I was like holding it like this goes out. I have horrible vision too. So I have to like sit and I had cord headphones in so I could hear. And I was saying like this. Mind you, she takes a picture of me.

I'm laughing at my own video. Like I'm literally going. That's crazy. I'm watching my own shit. That is so funny. I have a problem where I'll like, my friends always make fun of me because if I'm watching one of, if I'm watching myself. Yeah. I like mimic what I'm doing.

Like in the video. So I'll literally be watching myself like. You're so me. I, it's hard. You're so me. It's like, it's hard. And I'm like watching and sometimes I'll laugh like, it's not. me. Yeah. I laughed my ass. I'm like, she's killing it. We're funny. Like, I'm sorry. Like, why else would I be

making this? Sorry, what do you want me to say? So, so, like, sorry. Sorry, we're all going to sit here and lie. Okay. Okay. Literally. Funny is funny. Like, curious. Even if it's me. Don't know what to tell you. I'm curious, like, what were you doing prior to that? Were you working at all? Did you just get out of school? I was in school. Um, I, so I'm studying. I graduated in 2020. Where'd you go? I went to, um, um, um, um, um, I went to, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, um, Toronto Metropolitan University. Okay, T, for radio and TV. Canada's a bit different.

There's no, there's no, like, you don't leave the province to go to, like, a different school. Some people would, but in Ontario, there's, like, eight to 12 different universities that you can choose from, and you pick by the program rather than, like, how good the school is. Gotcha. At least that's, like, my understanding of it. Yeah. So I was studying radio and TV, and then I would work in the summers. do like an internship. Oh, cool.

So for example, I was an intern at a pension firm. T. And I was the person that was calling the members. So I was in member services. Okay. Usually that's where the members call in. Yeah. But my, I was like in a little closet with two other interns.

And we had to call the members, the pensioners. And you know what a pension is, of course. Yeah. So I would call them to tell them that we got their mail. Because they would have moved. Okay. And so then I had to be like, hi, ma'am. Like, we've got your mail back.

Did you move? And then I'd have to, like, update their address. And that's all you did. That's all I did. And then one day, we had to, like, stuff envelopes. We stuffed, like, 2,000 envelopes. You're like, you're like a TV intern. You know, like on TV when they're like, oh, I have an internship.

It's just sitting alone in a closet, something envelopes. And it's funny because you tell people, I have an internship. Congratulations. That's amazing. The reality is literally like me with, like, chopped up fingers. It's the most tedious job in the world. It's horrible. It's like a job literally nobody would want to do.

Then I had an internship doing, I worked at a tech company. Okay. But this was like tech support for other companies. Okay. And I was brought on to do their video content. Okay. Why a tech company needs video content? I have no idea.

He's like, our fans are dying to see more. Our fans would love to see more of our stuff. to see more. And I showed them. So that's what I did. And then I interned at MTV Canada. Oh, cute. Yeah.

Well, Bell Media, which is like, it has a whole bunch of different brands. But I was editing like the MTV Canada social stuff. But I actually have an, it was an internship at the place that my show is on. Oh my gosh. That's crazy. Yeah. So now I have a show. And I went into the studio.

Were you like the offices? Yeah. Well, like. You have to be. went into the offices to like do um the marketing one liners yeah yeah like look into camera and i'm like hi canada but i'm like in this studio that i used to be in where we would set up shoots for like other celebrities and stuff to like come in so wild i i would love okay we'll transition into the show that's perfect segue yeah like how did the show come about first of all

congratulations thank you i'm so fucking happy for you and i would love to know about the show like tell me all about it like how it came to be so I basically Crave, which is, so in Canada, there's like, there's Bell. And as I mentioned, Bell has like a whole bunch of different channels like MTV, much music, discovery. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then they also have Crave, which is like a streamer that has like a ton of different channels on it. Like HBO, Stars, FX. And then they also have their own originals.

Okay. So Crave was like. Hi, you want to make a show. And at first, they didn't really know what the show was going to be. I didn't really know what the show was going to be. I just knew that I wanted to be a part of it. Like I wanted to have some control. Otherwise, who knows.

What's your son? I'm a Capricorn. Do you have any Virgo in you? I don't think so. Really? Yeah. Why? Am I giving Virgo?

Honestly, yes. Honestly, yeah, you are to me. I'm a Virgo. But Capricorns, I've like, talk shit on capricorns just to be silly my sister's the capricorn moon but my thing with capricorns is my thing with capricorns i've said it before i think capricorns are the most like magnetic like funny love like people it's true yes oh my god it's so crazy you say that's it's so wonderful yeah it's like everyone loves a capricorn a capricorn does not love everyone and when

when capricorns like lose interest like when they're like kind of like i'm done with this they let you know almost immediately. I have a big problem. And the problem is I cannot control my face. Yes. And your ability to detach almost immediately is shocking. It shocks me. If I'm out the room, I'm gone.

Like I don't want to be here anymore, you'll know. Like, I will shut down. And then that was also the thing about the show is when we would like talk about what the show could be, you could see. I was like, no. The show. The light leaving your eyes. Gone. Yeah.

Easily. Because I just like I wanted it to be cool. Yeah, totally. And especially like Canadian television. Like we all want it to be cool. Yeah. And so that was like obviously the vibe was like let's make it cool. And it's yours.

And it's mine. Like it's my show. Yeah. You want to be able to like have a full say and also like have them take your ideas seriously. Exactly. So eventually we, I met with a showrunner and we basically created this concept where we were like, what could this show look like? Totally.

And the network was like. just make the show that you want to make and pitch it to us, which is like a dream. That does not happen. Never. They trusted us a little too much. It was a little scary. So we basically made this show where it's every episode I take on a different reality TV genre. And it's me and a celebrity advisor.

Love. From that respective genre. Love. And we go on the journey and it ends in like a final challenge. So fun. Yeah. So we have dating, cooking, news, sports. drag and slice of life like housewife Kardashian.

How fucking cool. Girl. And how was it filming it? It was so ridiculous. It was so. It's terrifying because there's like a lot of imposter syndrome of like. Oh, I bet. Am I supposed to be?

Like is this actually happening? Especially because you've been working towards it for so long. And I was like I was in I was behind the scenes for a lot of it. I was a 10 minute drive from the production office. So I was there. Oh, that's every day. I was so great. I know.

But I was like. And I was in the writer's rooms too. So we're like talking about all these things. I'm like, okay, and then I'm going to like run out into the street and I'm going to like scream this. And then oh, and then this happens and I'm going to like do drag. And then I'm going to. And then the day came where I'm the guy that has to do all of these things that I wrote. And I was losing my mind.

I was like, oh my God. I can't do this. You're like, who wrote this? I'm like, who wrote this trash? This is horrible. No, it's terrifying. Yeah. But it ended up being.

So fun. And all of the celebrities, too, that we got were, like, perfect. Oh, that's so great. They're good sports. Oh, my God. A little too good. I'm so glad, though. Yeah.

That's like, what a fucking, you. I know. It could have gone the opposite way. It's a real dice roll sometimes. Especially for something, like, as huge as your first season of your big show. I know. So you're like, I wanted to go well. And, like, that's probably a control thing too because you're like, I can't control

how they do. I have no idea what they're going to show up and do. Yeah. So hopefully they're down for the vibes. I love when someone's down, though. Like when they come and they're like a really good sport about it. Have fun challenge. Yeah.

Like bring back fun. Bring back having fun. Literally. I know. I feel like it's such a. I don't think there's been very many instances I've had where I've had to like act or do something fun with a celebrity and they weren't game. Yeah. There was like a couple times where I was kind of like, okay, I can't tell if you fucking hate me or if you're like having fun.

Like I literally can't tell. I'm scared. Don't meet your heroes. Like I'm scared to do things. Sometimes my manager will be like, do you want to do something with like a house? wife or like do you want to do something like i know this celebrity maybe we could get you guys in a room together and i'm like anytime somebody's like my friend of a friend knows kim yeah we should get you guys like in a room together and like make a video and i'm like i don't know if i should do that yeah it's like

girl i think she'd hate my guts oh she'd hate me there are certain people where i'm like i think i would entertain the fuck out of her but i think she wouldn't like me or she'd find me weird There are quite a few of those where I'm like, it's all fun in games till you meet me in person, huh? Is there anybody that you like are dying to meet? Or do you not care? Because honestly, after you meet and see them and are like in rooms with them, it's just like so like. It's just doesn't matter anymore. It's just like, oh, that's them.

Yeah. I recently hosted a thing with TikTok Canada. It was like the TikTok Summit. And Snoop Dogg was there. Which that was cool, of course. cool yeah but it just felt like he like walked into the green room to like he was like is there bathroom in here yeah it's over there yeah like it's just like so real like they're just normal they're so normal like it's it's crazy how normal they are and how cool they are when you also act

normal like it's it's very strange because you especially when you grow up like because we're around the same age but like did you grow up like watching youtube and stuff like that like just really into social media. Yes. But specifically YouTube. Like the same. And so when I see YouTubers and like, you know, when you grow up in this era of media, you're kind of like you have this understanding of celebrity culture, of influencer culture.

You're like, oh, I think I understand it. And when you actually like enter it, it's way different. So different. It's so different. And it's so like, I know exactly what you mean. It's like regular, I guess is the description. It's hard to explore. It's not the glitz and the glam that you think it is.

Yeah. And you're almost shocked that you don't feel that way. Yes. Right? Yeah. Like, I don't feel anything at all. I guess that's cool. But you can almost apply that to anything.

Like, even with my show, it was like, this is a dream. Totally. But I had to realize that even when, you know, you have this, like, a dream of something, you're still going to have things about it that you don't like. Yeah. Or that stress you out. Or that stress you out. You're going to have, like, bad days where you come home and you're not happy.

Yeah. Or you don't want to work. Or you don't want to wake up and go do it. Like, that's normal. It is. But it's hard. Yeah. And then you have those moments.

And that's where my imposter syndrome kicks in sometimes too, because then I'm like, I feel ungrateful. And I'm not ungrateful. I'm just like, I'm experiencing a human emotion, which is I'm tired or I'm stressed. And it's like, then you're like, okay, wait, this is like a dream from true. I'm very happy and very grateful. So I go and I do it. And it's always fun. Yeah.

But then when you have those moments, it's very, I know exactly what you're talking about. It's such a weird, especially when you work normal jobs. Like, I've told people before, I was so fucking normal. Like prior to doing this, I worked nine to five. I sat in gridlock. Like, I. paid bills. I made minimum wage barely. Like I was like struggling to survive. I was very normal just like everybody else.

And then now you just go 180 into the next world. And then it's like how do I how do I do this? Yeah. I get but I also think that it's a testament for me. It's like I having good people around you is so important. It's so cliche. Ew. But like but it's true. But it's so true because even I got I was I got asked to do like a

Traders brand trip to go to Scotland. Oh, yes, girl. I know the exact trip you're talking about. And I'm glad you brought that up because everyone I love was on that trip, including Bowman. And I did not get invited in. No, you're all wondering. No, I didn't get invited. Thank you very much for asking anyways, back to the trip.

I'm like, the way I know every single one of those people and they are all. Love that. Well, I almost said no. I almost said no. Yeah, because I was like, I don't really get it. Like, and I'd never go on the brand trip. I don't know what they are. Like I didn't get it.

Same. Same, honestly. But then I said to my friend, like, I don't know that I'm going to do this. It was like, what? Are you crazy? Get your ass on that trip and go. And I was like, okay, period. And then I had the best time. But yeah, it literally was. And then suddenly it was like me and all my friends. Right. On like a little like friend trip to Scotland. Are you kidding me? How fucking cool. Girl, that was so fun. And was it like, how long were you guys there? Like a week or something? Five days. And how was it? Like, it was it. It was a dream. It was it like the fact that it was like friends. aside. The people made it wonderful. But I was not expecting such a lavish experience. I was going to say that in a castle in Scotland girl, that shit was crazy. The guy who

owns ASOS owns that castle. It's like his like... That's crazy. It's like crazy. Casual. And then we would be like at dinner and then there's like in the corner there's like a woman playing the Celtic harp. Like and then the chef would come out and be like here's what you're eating today.

It's so like magical. It was magical. I saw you in Teffi's AD tour. The way I know a handful of TikTokers just terrorizing that castle. Horrible. Like the minute you get there, you're like, I got at least five bits. Oh, they wanted

us out of there. I, we made that TikTok like 10 minutes before we had to like get in the car and leave. And the staff at the castle was like good. You could tell they were like us. They're following your own. They kept like moving closer and closer to the door like cornering us that was crazy that's so fucking awesome though

like yeah and I feel like it's especially good when you meet people in this industry like specifically creators that are not the worst sometimes you meet people and you're like I get why people hate influencers yes fucking same yes it's like sometimes you meet them and it's crazy but you know what it's so easy to like be horrible to like do this and be like even when I was starting, I feel like I had to like make the conscious effort sometimes that like, everybody around me doesn't do this. Yeah. And I have to like be mindful of that.

Be mindful of why you were invited to the section. Exactly. Yeah. No, but like, like some people are actually horrible. They are. Yeah. Like shut up. Shut up challenge.

Like, impossible. Like, please. Level impossible. Oh my God. Like, when we've talked about it, like I've talked about it with other creator friends. Even when I meet creators who are like new to the. game and they're kind of coming up now if they ask me for advice like other than get a really good

lawyer and get a really good team like agent manager very important yes both are important don't do it by yourself yeah past that I always tell them to make friends that are also creators like build community yeah because it's so important and I always tell people no one relates to your problems anymore every problem you have no no one can relate to that shit other than a creator no or your team so like no oh my gosh you have to lean on them I find it hard hard because I'm in Canada. Yeah. Where like everybody's not, nobody's doing this.

Yeah. And I mean, I have some creator friends, but like, they're either, they've either moved away. Yeah. Like moved to here or they just. Do you want to move here? Are you thinking about it? Or maybe bi-coastal kind of thing? I want to be bi-coastal so bad.

My boyfriend's here. And so we do long distance. So technically you're already kind of doing that. So yeah, I'm already kind of, like, I'll come for like a week or two weeks. Yeah. But I think I, if I was going to be here, I would need like my own space. Totally.

Because we're very like, we need our own space. And that's okay. And that's okay. The important thing is you know. Exactly. That's the important thing. But I think eventually I know that I'll end up in New York. I think New York matches you too.

You think so? I think so, yeah. I think you would do well here, but I think New York is more your vibe. You give like Wisconsin. Oh, oh, oh. Well, in the sense that. Yeah, you know, in a sense that, you know, Oh, I said something nice.

Okay. Wait, do you love it here? Here, I mean, I was born and raised here in Southern California. Not in L.A., but in Southern California. So I was raised in, on the way to San Diego, like Riverside County. I'm an I-E girl. That's the Inlet Empire. So I'm from there.

So I'm not from L.A. Okay. And I know why people hate L.A. And I hate L.A. If I'm being honest. What's the theory? Like, why do you, why do you hate L.A.? I mean, I hate it just because.

Well, besides the fact that parking is literally impossible, but it's not a walkable city, which infuriates me. Yeah. The traffic drives me into- You can only do two things in a day. Girl, like literally, if it's like, it literally the valley to Hollywood, like, okay, in the car for four hours. Like, it's just-horrible. There's no way. Everything is a road. Groceries is a road trip.

It's horrific. I got to block out six hours just to go to Trader Joe's. It's fucking terrible. And my agent is actually from Canada. She lives there now. But she's a Vancouver girl. Okay. And she tells me all the made-up names of her towns and I forget them.

She, when she comes down a lot to help me with work and she always stays with me. But when we drive, like she's a motion sickness girl. And I kind of am too. And she's miserable because we're in the car for hours. You're just sitting. Motion sickness is great. When we were in Scott Remy is motion. Like yeah she has it bad.

Girl, I look over at Remy in the car. She's like, like, having, like, bumpy. We were like winding. So I get it. But like, God, I was like, damn, it's like that. It's hard to see. The one branch, hold on, the one brand trip I got invited to was for a brand. I absolutely love and adore.

And I'm not going to say who it is, but I did get invited. And I was like, I'll get, well, let me tell you about that. Okay, period. Girl, I went and I was like, or I said, yeah. And I was going to take my boyfriend and I was like okay Tee and like I knew some of the girls that were going and I was like okay This would be fun and I was nervous too because I don't know I'd never been on a brand trip I don't know anything about them I went to one but I don't know if you could count it because they let me bring my friends I don't know if you could count it

Okay But like and that was really last minute so this was to another country and everything and it was tropical and I was like okay T The day comes they send like cars to come get me and like we go to the airport They sent the car I think a little too late like a little too close to the timing. Okay. Because then they got stuck in traffic because they shut down like two lanes on the highway. And so by the time I got to the check-in thing, my shit's gone.

Like my flight took off. And so I'm sitting there and they're like, well, there's no other flights because the place we're going, you have to like, I check a connecting flight and then you get on one of those little fucking little planes and then go again because it was like an island. And then I was like, I'm never going to make it there. So then they, I decided to do a different trip just for vacay. but then they were like no no no no no don't don't plan another trip we'll put you on another plane and i'm like okay because then at this point i'm like i've already lost a whole day it's gonna take me a full day to get there by the time i get there i'm only have a day and a half so it's like not worth it

yeah and they're like no no no no no let us send you again so then they i stay in a shit hotel i go back to the airport the next day i go they do a private check-in have you ever done that shit no okay me either um because it's actual big money it's literally you're a completely separate thing behind LAX. They drive you past it. They drive you inside. People come to your door, take out, take all your luggage. They check it immediately.

And they're like, let me take you into the, into the building. They take you in. Everything's free. It's like full service, full bar, full everything. It's fancy, fancy little chairs, fancy everything. And I was like, damn. And then they were telling me, because, you know, I'm a cheese. Most of, I'm super nosy.

So I'm like, so like, like, who like, flies? specifically. That's like how like Beyonce flies. That's how like actual famous people fly. Not dickheads like us on the internet. So like I was like, I fly like that. But that's. Yeah. Well, I mean, when you say really famous people, obviously I'm talking about me. But like and I was like, okay. See, while I'm sitting there, my flight got delayed, I think like three times. And then I really wasn't going to make it. And I said, hey, I'm going to take the hint. And I went and I actually never went. That's what happened. So you just like chilled at the airport and had a free Apple. Yeah, I went to the airport four times, never left, then went home.

And I was like, God does not want me to get on that plane. And I will take the hint. Yeah, do not come. And then I went straight home. And then it's funny because my uncle was dog sending my dog. And I came back three times. And the third time he goes, are you like actually going this time or can I go home? I was like, you can go home.

And so you never went. No, I never went. So still haven't been on a brand trip, girl. But I'm glad you got to go to Scotland. That was really fun. Yeah, they flew me private, too. So I actually know the airport you're talking about. It's okay.

I'm actually extremely familiar. Yeah. It's fine. Anyways. I truly like adore you. I think you're so incredibly funny and talented. I know. And humble, more importantly.

But I would love to know because you've been doing this now and now congratulations again on the show. I'm so fucking excited for you. Thank you. For anyone who's like an aspiring like comedy, whether they're sketch comedy right. or an actor or maybe they want to do stand-up or something like that I would love to know what your best piece of advice is for them if they're pursuing it or maybe they're thinking about it yeah I learned this so recently mm-hmm okay let me see if I can get the wording right I learned that in this process and in this job and everything it's so easy that like to not trust yourself totally and those moments I tell myself that like I can't do it or that I I I won't be able to do it. And I think that the most important thing, it's like everybody knows that they can do it.

Yeah. Like that's why we're sitting right here because like we believe we can do it. Yeah, totally. But it's you have to trust that you know what to do. Yeah. Because it can change. Oh, tea. I know.

Isn't that so good? You weren't it perfectly. I loved that. That's all right. I've had so many moments where it's like, you know, you're, you're, uh, accomplishing things or like you're like I was this is my dream the show was my dream absolutely from when I was a kid and when it starts to like change or take a different shape or turn into something else you I start to freak out yeah or even like if I if I show up at like um like a hosting gig or like

anything um I have a certain idea of how it's going to go and if it doesn't go like that I you panic yeah because it's like this isn't how it's supposed to go yeah this is how it's supposed to go yeah this is how I planned it meticulously in my head literally but when it changes you have to know that you know what to do absolutely because usually you do well and also like there's a reason why you're here in the first place yeah right so trust your instinct because I'm really handsome just unbelievably talented and have a huge fat ass god I got everything in spades I don't even know what to tell you yeah everyone's it's just a race for second it really is I'm glad you plays Some people don't even play.

Yeah. Be grateful. Exactly. I'm so incredibly, incredibly excited for you. I'm so fucking happy for you. Thank you. And you're so fucking funny and talented. I can't wait to see all the amazing, wonderful things you continue to do.
