Starting point is 00:01:10 And I want people to know You need them to know Nice right and tight Yeah there you go Pop it a little Hey everyone and welcome back to another episode Of the comment section show starring me your fave
Starting point is 00:01:29 Everybody knows me who cares about me On to the guest today We have an all star One of my faves ever to exist In the history of time always the one, the only. JVN! I'm here!
Starting point is 00:01:41 I think we have to start off with the elephant in the room that everyone wants to know right away. Right. Do your people know who made these boots or what are these boots? They are the cutest boots. I'm obsessed with them.
Starting point is 00:01:51 I think they're Dolce Vita. Yes, they are. They are so fucking cute. And they are so good on your ankle. Like, right? I'm just very passionate about like a pant to shoe transition. Oh my God, T.
Starting point is 00:02:02 And the pant to shoe transition that you're giving us right now, like I also notoriously have like very, dead unreactive nipples and it's making them kind of like tingle because it's so good. I'm honored my Dolce Vita boots could do that for you in your ankles. I think that's wonderful. I don't know if that was TMI right at the top. No, it's a beautiful thing. And honestly, you know what's funny? I got these in PR and like probably two years ago. They're probably one of
Starting point is 00:02:23 my most worn boots. Look at how good they held up. I know and I love a pointy toe underneath the gene. And it's so many you say that about the boot transition because that's also why I like these because they go up a little high so it looks a little you know i love how it looks pointed toes make my bunions hurt so bad and in my advanced age i can't even do pointed toes anymore no i can feel my i can feel my feet pounding in my ears and my third eye and i get grouchy and i just can't do it anymore so i just i can't do pointed toes honestly that's so real when i wear uncomfortable shoes like literally i was joking about this with my sister like when my feet hurt, I'm on a clock.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Like, if I'm at an event and my feet hurt, like, it's about a 30-minute window before I start turning terrible because my feet hurt so bad. I'm not kidding you. Sometimes I wonder if Rolling Stone was because I didn't know that about myself yet. Because, like, I just didn't know how to wear shoes. Like, when I wear uncomfortable shoes, I become crazy. Like, my inner bad girl. No, because, like, I can literally feel my bunions, like, pounding in my ears and my third
Starting point is 00:03:27 eye. It is the worst feeling. And the showrunner from Quirai was literally like, you can't wear these shoes anymore. Like you just act fucking crazy when you wear these shoes. And then I learned platforms, no stilettos. It has to be a platform and it has to be a round toe or like a square toe. Like my feet have to have room.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Or I freak out. Like I just have not been myself. I compared it. I feel like Venom, like Tom Hardy and Venom, you know, like how it's like it tells him to smash people's heads in the walls. And he's like, oh, can't, can't. That's how I feel too. Like my feet are telling me to do awful things. Get the shoes off and then you're like, oh my God, there I am again.
Starting point is 00:04:04 I'm so sorry about that. I don't know who that was. I don't know who that person was. You know what's like coming up a lot for me lately? You're too young to really stand the bodyguard with Whitney Houston, true or false? No, I do. I'm familiar with the, and is it Kevin Costner? Yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Yeah. So, okay. And I know that they had like a very real love. Yes. Yes. Like that was never really pursued. Oh no, they pursued it at the end. Or was it one of those things where he was like,
Starting point is 00:04:32 the greatest love of my life was always her? Well, you don't really know because the runway at the end, like the airplane is such a big deal. But the reason I bring it up is there's this very important scene where, and I don't want to do any spoilers. It's such a good movie. You should watch it. But basically there is this stalker who's like trying to hurt Whitney.
Starting point is 00:04:50 And you think you know who it is. But then you find out that her sister hired this hitman. And Kevin's like, to the sister, he's like, how could you do this? Why would you do this to your sister? And she was like, I don't know. I was very stoned. And even as an eight-year-old, I was like,
Starting point is 00:05:08 what weed were you smoking that you got high and tried to kill your sister? Like, that was like not. And like what Ronald Reagan-ass writers wrote that line because it's just not even true. But I do think that for this younger generation, they should see the bodyguard and know it more intrinsically because it is such a fucking incredible piece of cinema.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Right. And I just want people to, like, know it in their bones how I do. Because it's so moving. I agree with you. It really is, like, beautiful. And I've seen, like, clips from it, and I'm familiar with the lore from it. Did they have something in real life after the movie? I don't know, but the way their interviews, the way they spoke about each other in interviews was really, like, heartening and beautiful.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Right. Did you ever see the clip when he throws up the scarf and it, like, splits over the sword? No. Oh, my gosh. She can do anything. It's so hot. No, it's Kevin Koster. They're like, and then Kevin, like, takes this, like, scarf, like, off, like, that she's, like, wearing and he, like, throws it up.
Starting point is 00:06:02 And for some reason, there's, like, a sword on the wall. And I don't know, he's, like, a bodyguard. So there's, like, a sword. And, like, the scarf, like, falls over this sword and it, like, fucking splits it in half. Ooh, it's like ASMR. I literally have the chills. Like, I want to start. I want this couch to fuck me right now.
Starting point is 00:06:18 You're thinking about it. Yes. Makes you want to go crazy. Yeah, people should watch a bodyguard. I'm happy. I think that's great advice. Yeah. I didn't know we're going to.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I'll get started honestly. I haven't even seen it. And then let me know. I will. I would love to. I'll text you about it. Also, that does remind me. I did see the new Wicked movie last night.
Starting point is 00:06:36 You guys, I literally didn't get invited. Is my career over? Am I like, am I just over? Like, I didn't even get invited to the fucking Wicked premiere. Like, I'm just like, do they just think I'm like in Texas and just don't even want to come? Well, also I think you're just so famous that sometimes I think they're like, well, they're probably busy.
Starting point is 00:06:54 That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. I am so pro-Wicked. I'm pro-ho. I'm pro-whicked. I love Wicked. And you're pro-musical theater. I'm so pro-musical theater. You love musical theater.
Starting point is 00:07:03 I love Wicked. Was it everything that we thought it was going to be? It really was. Like I say with full chest, full heart, like lived up to the hype and then some, like truly. And I was like, these are not spoilers, by the way. But like when they do as long as your mind, okay, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, T, but also, I literally, like, it was far more, like, sensual. Oh, sensch? Yeah, like, sexy.
Starting point is 00:07:29 No. Oh. As long as your mind between, well, I guess you could say maybe Savick if it counts, like Cynthia Revo, Jonathan Bailey. Oh, I forgot that's there. That's not the song I was thinking of. Oh, as long as your mind. I was thinking of, um, because I knew you.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Oh, yeah. Yeah, and I was like, oh, are they bringing like a lesbian thing to it? That's hot. Why didn't they invite me? I love that. It was like so gay. Yeah, but no, but so that was more sensual. Cynthia and Jonathan got really cinch.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Yeah, like it was far more central than I thought it was going to be, but it was tea. I love. It was so honestly, if you love Jonathan Bailey, who doesn't? If you're attracted to him in any way, shape, or form, that's the movie for you. Not to name drop,
Starting point is 00:08:06 but one time I met him in real life on the set of Bridgeton, and he was so nice. Really? I'm so happy to hear that. And I was like, oh, I under, like the charisma is really charismaing. Right. Now, I know this is your podcast.
Starting point is 00:08:19 And you need to be asking me questions, but I want to ask you a question. Please do. Because you're the only one of the two of us that saw Wicked. Yes. And I don't know what they're going to be up against. But I'm really hoping for an Oscar for our girls. Yes, I agree.
Starting point is 00:08:31 And like, yes, it's an honor to be nominated, but I do believe that I don't care who they're up against. Like, if they don't both win, I've been through too much. Like, and I think we all have, like culturally. We earned it. So you think that they will, right? I mean, I think they should. I don't know if they will. The only reason I say I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Because you don't know who are up against. Yeah. Well, and also it's the academy. So I don't know. Like the way they pick is very confusing to me sometimes. Because who would have known? Like, Anora was going to beat Demi more. But I just was always, I've just been like Tyra Banks for Tiffany for the girls from Wicked.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Like, I am rooting for them so hard. And I just, I want them to win so bad. Me too. I agree. Like, I have not wanted someone to win this bad since Michelle Kwan in 1998. I knew you were going to reference Michelle Kwan. I knew I was. I have not wanted this.
Starting point is 00:09:21 And I wanted that so much that sometimes I wonder if it was my fault. that like she got silver. You know, like, I don't know if I willed it from like Quincy Ellenor, but I just, so I don't want to want it too much that I like chase it away energetically, but I'm like literally ripping my hair out thinking about it. And earlier when you were telling me about like my fingers were like gripping. Like I am like so, my body's ready. They were like truly unbelievable in it.
Starting point is 00:09:42 They were right. How was the glam? It was so good. Honestly, especially Cynthia's. I think Cynthia, oh, she looks so stunning. I obviously, our undergradte always looks stunning. But you know, Glinda has a very similar look. throughout.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Yes. And they were giving Elfaba range a little bit in her looks. Loved. Okay, not to name club as well, but I did get to interview Frances Hannan on the pod. Okay. Who is the beauty designer? She, like, did all the hair and makeup. She was, like, the lead principal for it.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Yeah. And she did tell me that Alphaba has, like, more of a transition from her story visually, especially with, like, the hair. Yeah, totally. And she was telling, like, the story about, like, how she achieved Elphabas Green was really interesting. Cool. Francis Hannon would be if you're a big Wicked Queen, you should get her on the pod.
Starting point is 00:10:27 She's like incredible. Amazing. And I had Cynthia on. I had Cynthia on the pod and she is a light, a gem. I love her so much. I bet people would hate to know that she is so nice. She's so nice and funny and sweet. I have another story about her.
Starting point is 00:10:41 And hilarious. Please. A really good one. This one day I was mining my own business in Bergdorf's in New York City. Yeah. And I was with my husband and we were shopping. And it was like a Wednesday. And he was like, don't shit your pants in public.
Starting point is 00:10:52 right now. Like I need you to like not lock in. Yes. But when you turn around, Cynthia's literally like right there. Like we're both at bird doors all at the same time and she was alone. She was just like not even with like a gigantic entourage. She was just like shopping on her own. But we had met this one other time. So it wasn't like I was like, but I just was like I have to be cool and I don't to be too much. So I just was like, oh my God, hi. And then she was like, hey. And like her British accent. And then I was like, oh my God, it's really good to see you. Like enjoy your shopping. okay, love you. I'm pretty sure I came off really cool. I'm sure. And like not trying too hard. I'm sure she loved.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Because what I really wanted to do is invite myself to like hang out with her and like go up and get tea on the seventh floor. But I did it. You held back and that's good. You exercise restraint. I'm proud of you. Leave them one anymore. I literally love. I loved talking to her. She was the sweetest and like she's funny. Right. She's so fucking funny. She's a musical theater person. I know. So she's got a lot of wit and banter about her. I fucking love that. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:52 And Ariana Grande, I've met in passing at the Oscars. I haven't gotten to meet her for real for real yet, but I would love to. She's like, I'm chasing her down for the pod. Hopefully it comes true. I did get to meet her. And between her and Michelle Kwan, I have just been spoiled by meeting my heroes. Like, they've all, like, smashed my expectations, like, in such a big way. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:19 That it's kind of, like, day. Yeah. Like now it's like even if I meet a hero and they're not that nice, it's like fine for me because like Ariana and Michelle Kwan have been and they both follow me and we're like friends and so get out of here. That's why I felt meeting Beyonce. Now that is a fucking flex. Yeah, because like I got asked once in an interview like do you get nervous interviewing like celebrities and stuff, whether it's on the show or in the carpets? And I was like, no, never. I never get starstruck.
Starting point is 00:12:45 I think that's like a cool thing about me that I never get starstruck. But I think that's what makes me it's easier to chat with me. and good at it. Right. And I was like, except Beyonce, like, that's different. That doesn't count. That's different. For those of us that don't know this story, would you mind tell?
Starting point is 00:12:58 Like, how did that, where, when, why, how, everything. Right. I got invited to, um, her birthday show, like, of Renaissance. In what year? That was 2023. Oh, my God. Yeah. So I went to the birthday show.
Starting point is 00:13:13 That's where they had Diana Ross. And like, I think who else was there at these two? I feel like I remember Lizzo being there. She was at one, but she wasn't at the birthday show with me. Yeah, K Trinada. Yeah, K Trinada. It was like a stack show because it was her birthday show. But at the time, I went with Beyonce's hair brand.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Like, they didn't say what it was. So we had to sign, yeah. So it had no name at the time. And so we just said, like, Beyonce's hair brand, that's who I went with. And it was funny because I went two days before that with Sofi. And my team was like, do you want to go again two days later? And I was like, yeah, I do. And so I went to that show, which is now, as we know, sacred.
Starting point is 00:13:50 but at the time I remember they had cars sent for us and they had a bunch of like goodie bags and stuff but they had recordings of her saying like hi Drew and then thank you so much for coming to my birthday show and help me celebrate my new brand like something like that
Starting point is 00:14:06 it was like a personalized message and when we got to the show I remember asking like when we were like hanging out and watching and partying and stuff I was like so like is that AI if it is lie to me if it is lie to me because I'm going to tell everyone that was really her and then she was laughing and she goes, no, it was, she recorded everyone's names. Like, she said hi, and then
Starting point is 00:14:24 whoever was. Yeah. Because I think there was only like 12 of us. And so she said, she did everyone's names, but the rest of the message she did once, obviously, and then they just stitched them together. What a good exclusive list. Girl. And so then, like, now we know as sacred, I got invited to a sacred launch party the following year, like in February. And so, which was last year. Was that when everyone was in white? Yes. Yes. I think I remember that picture. Yeah. So we went, I went to to the sacred hair launch. And, like, I went with Britney Broski, like, because, they said no plus ones. And when they said no plus ones and stuff like that, I was like, okay, she's probably going to be there.
Starting point is 00:14:54 So I was thinking at most I would see her from a distance, which is good enough for me. Oh yeah. Because I'm afraid, because I have idolized her for years. Like she's like my girl. She's my queen. And so when we went together, I was like, Think Verizon is expensive? Think again. Anyone can bring their AT&T or T-Mobile bill to a Verizon store today
Starting point is 00:15:14 and we'll give you a better deal. So bring us your bill. Walk in, run in, hogo stick in, teleport if you can. ride on the back of a rollerblading yak or flying on the wings of a majestic falcon. Any way you can, bring your AT&T or T-Mobile bill to a Verizon store today, and we'll give you a better deal on the best network. Based on Route Metrics, Best Overall Mobile Network Performance, U.S. second half, 2025, all rights reserved, must provide a very recent postpaid consumer mobile bill
Starting point is 00:15:35 in the name of the person redeeming the deal, additional terms, conditions, and restriction supply. I don't think, like, I was like, no, I don't think so. I think, like, she'll be there and, like, announce or whatever, and we're like, okay, cool, cool, cool, and then we did see her from a distance, and she was with Blue and Miss Tina. And they were all together. Tina was there. Yes. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:15:53 It was crazy. And so we watched it and that was like more than enough for me. I was like perfect. Done. I can die happy. It's totally fine. And then after the party we were like kind of shuffling out. And then my girl who I worked with from Sacred.
Starting point is 00:16:06 She was like, you two come with me. And so we went with her. You and Brittany? Yeah. So Brittany was like what's going on? I was like, I saw she could have been a fly on the wall to like watch the two of you guys get to meet Beyonce.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Like that was like I need to see like that footage. It would have been so cute. It was ridiculous. I bet you two were trying to like. keep it. I love Britney so much. We were. We were trying. And you know us, girl. Like, we're big fucking yappers. So, like, we were so mute backstage. Like, we went behind this little curtain. We were standing, and for probably only like 20, 30 minutes, but it felt like hours. And we were standing there. We were kind of looking at each other. We were like, yeah, you know.
Starting point is 00:16:35 And she was trying to make conversation. And I was going, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then I don't even fucking remember what we were saying. And then I go, honestly, dude, I can't talk. I'm so nervous. And she goes, me either. Let's just stand here and quiet. And I was like, okay. So we just sat in silence. It's probably good to ground yourself. Yeah, had to. And And then as soon as we walked up, they were like, everyone needs to put all phones, like in a bag, zip up the bags. Oh, shit. No phones. I don't want to see any phone.
Starting point is 00:16:58 No phones. No phones. And we were like, okay, no worries. No worries. And they were taking us in groups of like five or six. Was your photographer? So you had a picture? Well, there was one in there.
Starting point is 00:17:08 I assumed there would be one. I was like, oh, I hope there's a picture. Otherwise, no one's going to believe me. Yeah. Yeah. And so when we went inside. Like, that's probably the picture I saw. Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:17 So when we went inside, like she was sitting in there with, with, Blue and Miss Tina and like her whole team. And then she was just standing there waiting for us. And then she was like, hi. Like, and it was just so overwhelming. Like, I really felt like this. What did you say? I genuinely felt like this the whole time.
Starting point is 00:17:33 I was just eyes wide. Did you say anything? I did. Like, she went around the circle and introduced herself to everyone. And she was like, oh, was she like, this is blue and this is like, what's funny is our friend Alicia Marie, who's been a YouTuber forever. She was with us in our group and blue eye. is actually a huge fan of Alicia's
Starting point is 00:17:52 YouTube channel. What a fucking Black. Yeah, I know. And so she went up to her, she was like, I'm such a big fan. Like Blue was talking to Alicia. And we were so happy for her because we were like,
Starting point is 00:18:02 what the fuck, dude? This is crazy. It's just crazy to think of someone like Beyonce being on TikTok. Yeah, being on TikTok. It's just crazy to think about. And so me and Brittany, like she said hi.
Starting point is 00:18:13 And she's like, you look amazing. And I said, ah! Thank you so much. Thank you. Love you, huge fan. Thank you, so like, I literally was like, I'm going to freak out.
Starting point is 00:18:30 I'm getting nervous thinking about it again. I'm going to freak out. I have loved, I literally, I didn't even get to tell her this because I have, I've had this story in my head for years. I'm like, if I ever met her, when I, when Lemonade came out, you know, she only released it on title because.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Yes, I remember I was there. I literally just canceled my title like three weeks ago. Yeah. I still have mine, too. I literally overdrafted my, bank account because I had no fucking money. Resonates. That's how fucking bad I needed it. I was like, I need this album so bad.
Starting point is 00:18:57 I knew when that came out that I had to break up with my boyfriend at the time because when Exo came on and all night, he, like, I was sobbing, fighting for my life, watching it live. Because remember like it came out, like on the telly, like all the music videos? Right. I was like fighting for my life. Like love and lights out.
Starting point is 00:19:14 I was like, oh God! And then like my, the boyfriend at the time was looking at me all crazy. I was like, this is never going to work. Yeah, he's like too different. You're relating to this? Yeah, like our worldviews are like too different. It's like never going to fucking work out. She and then in real life just like even more stunning than like anything we've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:19:30 She looks airbrushed. She looks like if you airbrushed a beautiful, perfect picture of someone and it came to life. Just like beyond reproach. Just beyond approach. And then when they were like she chatted with all of us and like. How long? I would say probably a good like 20 minutes like all of us. Wow.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Like and so that I know which is like so much time. And she doesn't do meet and greets anymore like ever anymore. And even Brinney was. so, like, scared and nervous, too, because, like, she's, we both see her the same way. And I was, like, telling Brittany, tell her. She's from Houston. Like, I was like, tell her, you're from Houston. I was, like, nudging Britney.
Starting point is 00:20:01 I was like, you're from Houston. Tell her. Tell her. And so they were, like, chatting about Houston and everything. And it was so fucking awesome. And then they were like, let's take a picture. And then they just literally, like, foo, like, popped up, like, these bright lights and everything that, like, are her lighting.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Right. Her lighting specifically. And then they took all the pictures. That's how they did it. I love that she has like a setting, like, ready, like at all times. You know, like, when people come up to you, like, like, people, when people come up to me, like, there's, like, a certain, like, kind of, like, things that I can probably predict that someone's going to say to me. Totally.
Starting point is 00:20:33 And I would think that for you, there's, like, a top three things that, what the fuck do you think the top three things were that people said to Beyonce before she had, like, such a big circle? Like, I wonder what people, but they're probably like, I love jumping, jump and jumping. It's probably been, like, so long that, like, it's like, you know, 2001. She's been like, these hos are not coming within fucking 50 feet. And be like, they're just too thirsty and desperate. And that's enough. True story. When the four originally, oh my God, am I having a stroke?
Starting point is 00:21:00 When the four original Destiny's Child, like when it was like Latavia and like that other one, they came to my fucking junior high and did a concert like with Beyonce and Kelly. And then like the other two. And actually, I think I think Michelle Williams wasn't even any yet. I think it was like the other two. Oh, yeah. But jump in, jump in was like just becoming a thing. and um love that song and bills bills bills was out i believe and it was like a ten dollar ticket to like our junior high gym and it was the big and it was like a house of dairy on they were wearing like mirrors like it's still like it was like so iconic i can't believe i got to see yeah yeah that's so awesome i've also worked with kelly i worked with kelly
Starting point is 00:21:38 her and i were in an NBA commercial together which is so funny i love her such a hilarious thing to say she is so nice too like her song defender i love And her red lights from like back with Nelly and um and uh what was that song love you. Oh yes. Yeah. The red lights. I've always loved her. I've always loved me some Kelly. And I love Michelle.
Starting point is 00:22:01 I love I love I. I love I. I know. I'll do anything for Nellieckh. I think the same thing. I'm like two out of three. No, I got to meet Michelle. I got to um, I, I, I almost lied to you and I'm so glad that I caught myself.
Starting point is 00:22:12 I saw death becomes her and I thought she was going to be in there. But it was, but it was her. It was like the understudy. because Michelle was in that moment, and at first I was sad. Yeah. But it was understood. He's like Broadway debut in that performance.
Starting point is 00:22:23 And she did really good. So then I was like, okay, like full slate. But I've also not seen her IRL. Michelle Williams. I didn't either. I've never seen her in real life either. I have to get her. The same way I do like the black pink girls.
Starting point is 00:22:36 I've met two of four black pink members. And that apparently my average is very high. So because I've met Jenny and Lisa. La La Lisa, if you will. Lisa was in White Lotus, right? Yes. Yeah, she's so pretty. That's where I met her.
Starting point is 00:22:49 They're also studying. Yeah, they're also stunning and so nice. I talked to, I interviewed Jenny at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, and she was so nice. They get the bitches in a tics. They really do. They have those girls geeking. I could not believe how many people were down there when she was talking to me. Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:11 And the way that they like, everyone was like, oh my God, oh my God. like all around like where I was at Billboard because I was almost like underneath the stage kind of like and I was next to photos and all that stuff where I was doing the interviews with them so they would sometimes come with all their team like you know what I mean like their glam people their managers whatever she came with her big team but then they there were just hort like a bunch of people came out of nowhere and they were like oh my god oh my fucking god oh my god it was crazy to see I bet it's like scary yeah they love them on my gosh TikTok algorithm I will get those videos.
Starting point is 00:23:48 Who's the one of Black Pink who like sometimes like seems like she doesn't know the dance and then people like rag on her for like not knowing the dance is good, but she's really just like adjusting her mic pack. I honestly don't know. Was that not on your algorithm? Maybe not. Oh my God. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:00 There's like there's like there's like one girl. I'm new to the K-pop world. There's just one girl who like people rag on her on Black Pink. I don't know which one it is who like and they say that like she does it like she's like missing her dance steps. Oh my God. Am I like dying? But um, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Whatever. I love Me's a black thing. I do. I'm new to the K-pop world. I'm working. my way in there. Like, cats eye,
Starting point is 00:24:18 I've met them. Ah. Love them. They're so beautiful and stunning and talented, and they're also all the exact same height, if you can believe it. I've been knowing about this K-pop for so long.
Starting point is 00:24:28 In 2008, in Miss Universe, there was this girl named Boa or, like, B-O-A, and she was, like, this K-pop diva, and she sang at Miss Universe in, like, 2008,
Starting point is 00:24:36 and I have been, like, on the K-pop team since then. Oh, love. I feel like millennials who, like, beauty pageants may know what I'm talking about. Yeah. Honestly, I'm a little, I was like,
Starting point is 00:24:46 I was like a born and bred fan girl. Like when I was younger, I loved like, the Jonas brothers were like my thing. Like, I was like a die hard Jonas brother fan. And I have met them and that was fun and full circle. I like wrote fan fiction about them and everything. Like I was like balls. What was your fan fiction? Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:25:03 You know what's funny is my, typically fan fictions are meant to be written in a way where like you're in the story. Yeah. No, mine was not. Just about that. Yeah, it was just about that. Like it was like a third person POV of their life. What was it like?
Starting point is 00:25:16 Could you like recap a chapter? Oh yeah. Like Miley, they were on the best of both worlds tour, which was like Hannah Montana. That was when... And that was like just your imagination. Like you created that. Well, that tour was real. But the story was fake, obviously.
Starting point is 00:25:28 That was my imagination. So those ones really were on tour together. Yes. That was when Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas were like dating. Oh. And so it was like such hot tea hot gossip. And so like basically Miley was the hero in my story. Selena Gomez was the enemy in my story.
Starting point is 00:25:43 Oh. I have a podcast. I apologize to Selena Gomez already on this podcast live. For that. Yeah, for that specifically. You didn't know. You were not stoned, but you were little. I was stoned.
Starting point is 00:25:54 I don't know. You were stoned. I don't know. No, I literally was like 11, and my sister was really good at coding, like, on MySpace. So we were literally working together to, like, build a fan fiction website. And we were like, oh, my God, we're going to put it up. And then for some reason, like, something just stopped us as if, like, we were like, this is too much. You guys gave yourselves the ick before you're going to post it.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Like, Loki. Yeah. Like we did. Oh my God. Which is funny because I wrote the entire fucking story. It was like 20 something chapters. I wrote the entire thing. Hand wrote the entire thing in notebooks. And then Jason made the whole website. It looked beautiful. And we were like, okay, chapter one. And then we were looking up how to upload it. And then for some reason we were like, God, I just can't. Maybe it's good that you self-censored. Maybe that would have ended up going viral and like ruined your career. I know. It would have been like my Friday. Rebecca Black. I do love her too. You had your like future use best intentions ready. I know. It was like I came back from the future and I was like, don't do it, girl. Don't do it. This could mess you up.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Yeah, you're going to make grave consequences. I love that you did fan fiction. Yeah. Every time I want to do fan fiction, it's about some like really niche-ass movie that no one else has ever heard of. So it wouldn't make sense. And like no one else would ever read it. No audience for it.
Starting point is 00:27:08 No. Like none. It's like I want to do fan fiction on like the cutting edge. And like no one knows what this is. That's like a figure skating movie from 1993. And no one knows what I'm talking about. Some millennials do. I'm so curious.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Was Michelle Kwan your introduction to ice skating? She was kind of my like second wave. Christy Yamaguchi was my era. Like as like a six year old in 1992, it was like Christyamaguchi, Nancy Kerrig and Tanya Harding. They and Midori-Ito and like kind of seria bonally. They whipped me into a fucking frenzy. Then Michelle came on the scene and she took me out.
Starting point is 00:27:41 like she did she Tanya Hardinged me like like I fell so in love with her and never fell out of love and she but she I mean I already loved skating but she made me fall but she was like my number one like fervent like person I love that
Starting point is 00:27:58 I was so curious and back then too like figure skaters careers like lasted longer yeah so like I really I mean she did like three really four Olympic cycles because she was the alternate in 94 then 96 night she was excuse me, who's talking? She was at alternate 94. Then in 1988, she went, she went in 2002,
Starting point is 00:28:16 and then she went in 2006 and got injured there and that. And I was literally talking about Adam, with Adam Rupon about this today because I had him on my podcast. So like not to name drop. But she, that injury was like how Emily Hughes got to skate in the Olympics, which I thought was so interesting. I forgot about that. Very cool.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Yeah. I just love that you love ice skating so much. I love it so much. And gymnastics. Like encyclopedic girl. Encyclopedic like a. obsession. Yeah, you're like a roller decks of information.
Starting point is 00:28:43 I love that, though. If you ever want to watch together, let me know. Yeah, what was it about ice skating in gymnastics that really hooked you? I'm so curious. I think it was as a small, as a gay kid in a very small town, there was this like something about these women, these young women having like being so strong and having all of this attention on them for something that they had worked so hard on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:07 I just thought that was so amazing. Yeah. And I wanted to witness it. That's so cute. I love that. I feel the same way about women in a lot of ways. Like, I was talking about this with my friend recently, where I was talking about watching women. Oh, who was I talking about Rosalia?
Starting point is 00:29:23 Her new album, Lutz. I heard it's incredible. No, it's perfect. I was, like, talking to my girlfriend about it. But I was saying, like, there are some people, women, namely, that I can think of in my head, that I feel like, almost like regardless of what your opinions are on religion or, like, a belief in anything else, right? The universe, whatever it is you believe in. That's spiritual.
Starting point is 00:29:44 There's something about women I can think of whose art form is so intense and pure that I think to myself there has to be a higher power. Yes. Because that's the only reason they've been put on this earth. That, like, makes me believe in a higher power. And I was like geeking out about it with my friend because I was telling her, Rosalie is a perfect example of that to me. Beyonce is another perfect example.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Florence Welsh, I think is one. Yes, absolutely. But you know what, man, I think is a good example. Ooh, I'd love to hear. Bad Bunny. Oh, that's a great example. Yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Like, he's the, well, because I think he said these, like, he's just, like, straight and he's, like, like, an ally, but he, like, kissed those guys. But he is, like, I'm really not one of those gays who's, like, has, like, a straight guy fetish. Right. Like, the way that Bad Bunny could just run me over with his car. And I don't even mean, like, sexually, like, he could just run me over and I would take it. I mean, very literally. Like, literally, Bad Bunny, if, like, the closest I'm going to get to you is, like, you running
Starting point is 00:30:34 me over in a fucking car. Run me. Run me. Yeah, do it. Do what you guys. Like, oh my God. Wow, wow, wow. And it's not even only physical, like, which normally it is for me.
Starting point is 00:30:46 Like, it's emotional. Like his, his everything is just like, wow. Like his POV is just like fucking shiver me timbers. I agree. And I was telling her, I feel like that's why, another reason why I love women so much. Yes, back to that. Because I feel like women. I love women.
Starting point is 00:31:04 The way that they like, and I feel like you see women this way too, like, especially how you were describing how you saw figure skaters. Like, the way that women see the world and move through the world is, like, so beautiful to me that I was like, every time I see a woman thriving, like Rosalia, for example, I'm always like, no man deserves this. No man alive deserves this. Someone's going to be lucky enough to have you, but no man deserves it doesn't mean they fucking deserve it.
Starting point is 00:31:31 No, it doesn't. No. And I only feel that way about women, namely. So, like, I feel like you idolize a lot of women too. Yeah. And I think that's why I have such a profound and pure love for women, which is why, like, I was joking about this the other day with my mom, too, that, like, I've had some pretty negative experiences with women in the workplace
Starting point is 00:31:48 and, like, in ways of, like, positions of power, right? I guess, like, I've had a lot of negative experiences in a way that could make me hate women very easily or root against them. Yeah. But even then, I was, like, when I'm being treated poorly by a woman, for misogynistic ideals, obviously, I think to myself, there has to be a reason why you're that way. And that makes me feel bad for you.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Like, I have empathy for you. Yeah. I don't want to be friends with you, but I do have empathy for you. Yeah. And, like, I always tell myself, this isn't going to make me hate women. Because I know what pure love from a woman feels like, and that's not it. I've literally just been saying in my stand-up comedy tour, I have this bit where I'm like, I do think that part of the key for our healing is going to be that we learn to love people on the right and the left.

Starting point is 00:33:06 I just wish that we didn't live in a world where we had to learn to love with Sarah Huckabee Sanders And I think if we can Like be celebrating women in a world That's got fucking Sarah Huckabee Sanders And Caroline Levitt and Pam Bondi If they can't make us hate fucking women
Starting point is 00:33:21 Ain't nobody gonna make us hate women Okay and I just could never You know These fucking lost Well I don't think they ever really And Megan fucking Kelly Girl Jesus Christ
Starting point is 00:33:34 Christ. Like what is going on? I don't know. The white women's water. They have put something in the white women's water. It's always a bad, but it's really bad right now. It's really bad. We are, I am just kidding. They're giving us the chug. Right, girl. It's got to put a stop to it. We need more Christia amoguchi's in the world.
Starting point is 00:33:54 We need more Christi amoguchi. We do. We need way more. Yes. More Florence Welchis. Yes. I agree. Yes. More Rosalia's more Beyonce. More Jennifer Welchis. Yes.

Amanda always tries her hardest to look for very rare ones, so I guess we'll see. Okay, it says in 2013, you co-starred in your sister's short comedy film, Love That Girl on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:34:53 It's true. How was that? It was just like a three-minute episode. And it's really my step-sister's half-sister. Kim, who we love. But she wrote this short or did my friend Emily write it? I can't remember if Kim or Emily wrote it. But yeah, the whole gag of that was is that I was supposed to be one of their like boyfriends.
Starting point is 00:35:13 And so the other girls were like, that's your boyfriend. And I was like, oh, hey, sweetie. It's really funny. I love that. You're like, you're not giving trade. Yeah, it wasn't even. No, no, I wasn't. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:25 It says you were a cheerleader at University of Arizona. I was. I do love that. I feel like I did know that about you. But I only got like a 1.7 GPA my freshman year. I got like all Fs in 1B. So I got kicked off the squad. What was the B in?
Starting point is 00:35:39 It was in English. Okay. What happened? I just did too much cocaine. Oh. And I think any is probably too much. But I was 17 and 18 and I just, I, I am from a really little town in Illinois. And then I moved to the university, I moved to Tucson, which is like University of Arizona.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Yeah. And I just found drugs. I found gay stuff. and I just didn't have time to go to class also, and this is so true. At the time, lifetime, like the TV channel, used to play like four hours of the Golden Girls from like 5 a.m. to like 9 a.m.
Starting point is 00:36:12 And I would go to the early morning cheer practice because, like, I had to. It was like from 5.30 to 6.30. But then I would always be like, instead of going to my first class, I'd be like, oh, I should just go home and watch the Golden Girls. And then I'll go to class, like, later.
Starting point is 00:36:24 But then I never left the house because it was like Golden Girls. And then I just started doing drugs like at 9 or 10. and then I just kind of lost Yeah, I just kind of lost it. I just kind of fell off guys. And the other problem was is that I knew I wanted to do hair. Yeah. I knew I wanted to be a hairdresser.
Starting point is 00:36:40 I was like, what am I doing here? Like, this is silly. But yeah, college was not good for me. I ended up turning tricks. I met this pimp online. It was bad, girl. Oh my God. No, my Tucson experience was a little bleak.
Starting point is 00:36:54 I wrote about it. Yes, I do know that. Yeah, it was a little rough. But it really gave me some. good experiences and some good street smarts. Yeah, some perspective. Yeah. I think so.
Starting point is 00:37:05 I mean, if you think about it in the way that you wouldn't be here now, the way you are today, if you didn't have those experiences, I think it's better, a better perspective for you. I totally believe in that. Yeah, absolutely. But I know you can cheer down. I can't. Yeah. Cheer down, tumble down, all of it. All of it.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Yeah. I know that about you. Yeah. I mean, I'll do the motions to a chant right now. I also do love that you knew about. hair very early on. Oh yeah. That's so tea. Always loved hair. Not many people can say that they knew their calling from that young of an age. Mine was even way before that, but the world was like, no, it needs to be this. It needs to be that. But I knew. Yeah, you knew. And I love that about you.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Yeah, because it wasn't going to be a professional figure skating coach. So what other, you know, I didn't have any ice rings. That, obviously it's got to be here. Yeah. Yeah. It has to be, but I think that's a beautiful thing. It's rare. I've, I've noticed that too because I've, I feel like I've always had a pretty devout sense of purpose, like, from a young age. I, like, feel like I knew what I wanted to do. And I was like, I think I have a general idea of how to get there. That was kind of how I was moving to. I love that you had that clarity. Yeah, but I think, I think I just wasn't sure how I was going to get there, because I think at the time, I always thought, like, I know I like to entertain and I like to be on camera, but for some reason, I didn't think acting
Starting point is 00:38:20 was an option. I don't know why. Like, for some reason, I never thought that was an option for me. I was like and maybe that was me being like a vergo to like even as a child because I was like well I mean what if I don't get an acting job then I need to get a real job like that's how I was thinking when I was very young baby yeah I was like well I have to get something steady so I can have income like you do have to put yourself out there like the way that we do like in this industry so I'm really proud of us I think so too you do it's like so much feedback it's so much right it just yeah it's a lot I'm proud of us. And I think people underestimate how, like, hard it can be unless it's something like
Starting point is 00:38:56 that you're called to. Like, I really do feel like entertaining is my calling. So I feel like people underestimate how hard it can be to get in front of a camera and just, like, be entertaining and be funny. But, you know, it's a lot of work. Especially when you're going through it. Yes, exactly. That's when it's really hard.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Right. That's where I'm giving Glinda. Like, I don't know where I'm pulling from to entertain the masses. Sometimes I don't know either. Yeah. And that's why I'm proud of it. us. I agree. And that's why I think that's another reason why too. Whenever I talk to creator friends, I always tell them to like make friends, like get in therapy and make friends. Like if you're
Starting point is 00:39:30 going to do this, and I mean friends who do this for a living because no one can relate to your problems anymore. And no one really, I mean like genuinely speaking, I really don't think people want to hear about your problems. Like that have real jobs that are hard, like physically taxing like and awful. Like, I would never complain about my issues to, like, a teacher or, like, in a way that's like, can you believe this? You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's also, like, hard to explain.
Starting point is 00:39:59 There's, like, I think there's just, like, so much more that goes on that I, like, never would have known. Same. I said the same thing. I was like, I've talked about it before where it's, like, no matter, it's not necessarily it's not that this job is the hardest job in the world. It's that this job is the only job, I think, that has no prior training experience. and there's no one you can really talk to
Starting point is 00:40:20 because until you become someone, like a celebrity and influence or whatever, you're never going to be able to interact with those people to ask them, hey, how did you deal with this? Right. So I feel like it's a job that no matter how many jobs you've had before, none of them could prepare you for this one. Like no amount of training or like,
Starting point is 00:40:39 if I had like a million restaurant jobs, none of that could have prepared me for the problems I have in this job. Yeah. They're so specific to this job, which is why I, I think community is so important because it's like I need to bounce these ideas or like my frustrations or grief is off someone who understands and can help guide me. Yes. Or like I can ask for advice from, which is why I love being friends with people like you or other
Starting point is 00:41:02 people who have been in the industry longer than me. So I can ask like, how did you deal with this? Like this is crazy. I don't know how to deal with this. It makes it feel less alone. Yes. Less isolating. I don't mean to aggressively change a subject like this.
Starting point is 00:41:15 No, please do. But I really want you to notice my sweater. Okay. I'd love to take a look. It's like, I just got it from a vintage shop, you guys. It's vintage Christian Dior. And I just don't know why I wasn't vintage shopping sooner. It's so much cheaper and, like, cuter.
Starting point is 00:41:30 That's actually T. I've been, uh, not vintage shopping. I guess, I don't know if it counts, but I've been buying stuff off the real real. That's like second hand, I feel. Second hand, yeah. I've been doing that lately. Just as great.
Starting point is 00:41:39 It's giving sustainable. I also love the real real. But this was from like 1989. T. I just like that's, it's like it's like it's from Christian Dior. Oh, T. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:47 But there's this place called like, the village vintage and they do like these like pop-ups in New York and Austin. I don't know if they do them in L.A. But it's like amazing. If you're like a shopping girly, I do. My business team is going to be so excited because it is so much more affordable than like new stuff. And it's just like kind of really interesting and amazing. It's funny you say that because recently I downloaded the real real real and started shopping secondhand on there because I like don't I don't really buy like a lot of designer things. I have bought them in the past. But like it's not something I'm like, feaning for like every time new things come out. So like when I'm like I think I want a new bag.
Starting point is 00:42:23 I always think like going in the store is like a lot of work. It takes so long. Yeah. But also too like because it's kind of like shopping for a car. You know they like make you wait in there for a while. Yes. You get so frustrated you just buy something. Like that's how it feels too. And then sometimes I don't like all the stuff they have like depending on the season. Yeah. So then I was like I'm so picky and like I don't need them brand brand new that I love a pre-loved bag too. Yeah. I was like I think she's like I think shopping secondhand would be better for me. And then I can find cooler things that aren't in the store. And so that's been like my new thing lately.
Starting point is 00:42:54 I've been like getting some really cute shit for like way cheaper. And it gets sent to my house. Yes. I don't have to go anywhere. I've been selling stuff on there. I've been buying stuff on there too. Yes. Like bags that I like impulse bought in like 2018 or 19 but then I've like sat on a shelf
Starting point is 00:43:09 for like five years. I'm doing that. I've been trying to sell gowns and stuff that I've purchased and worn but I know I'm not going to wear again. Yeah. I've tried to I've tried to sell. into the real real one got rejected because it had a little bit of my spray tan on the inside. I've had a couple of rejections.
Starting point is 00:43:25 But I find like the clothes, I will resell it. But it's like when you know how much you paid for something and then it's like still in really good shape. It's like the resale value of clothes just sucks. But bags are good. They did kind of, you're right though. They did kind of dick me a little bit on some of my gowns that I sold. Bags and jewelry is really good.
Starting point is 00:43:42 But not clothes. Yeah. And not coats as much. Yeah. But bags of tea, good to know. Yeah. Bags and jewelry. Yes.
Starting point is 00:43:50 I've been buying like pre-loved stuff on there and some new, some clothes and stuff too, which has been really nice. Yes. Loving. I got this like Hermes bag that I had been asking my like, because I got like a guy at Hermes. But they just never have this like one bag that I've really been wanting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And then I found it on Rebag. And it was like, and the only thing it didn't have was the box, but I had everything else. And it was like so much more affordable. Whereas like a Birken or a Kelly is like. more expensive on resale but all the other like not as well known bags are cheaper on resale
Starting point is 00:44:23 so if your sales associate ever you just like can't get it it's like look on rebag for like a Ruli or like a Lindy or like a Picatin yeah I'm very I'm very like I don't know like whatever's about designer stuff but when I really like it
Starting point is 00:44:40 and I really want to buy it I'll like look into it I wish that I wasn't like this for Hermes and I never used to be but then I still don't humbled upon Hermes talk and I got like all these people on my TikTok that started teaching me about like the lore of the leathers and like why this is like this and why that's like that's like that and one got me and then after that and I will say this for Hermes the quality of their stuff like I have like a bag with me today yeah I have taken that back to like five continents worn it every fucking day beat it up torn it down shove shit in it and it just gets like better and better I've heard that about it it really is true at least it's more of an investment investment piece and the other other brands. Well, even the ones that don't hold their value as well, like you're
Starting point is 00:45:20 Ruli, you're Lindy, your Picatin, like a Constance like wallet. Like, they're all just the quality of how well it's made really is you can beat it the fuck up. Whereas like when I wear my like Rick Owens or Gucci or anything else, it's like in a similar expense meter
Starting point is 00:45:37 for like a jacket or like a sweater or a jean wears out, fucks up. But like Hermes really doesn't wear out or fuck up. It's just like it's made on like a different level. Okay, see. It really is. Good to know.
Starting point is 00:45:49 I feel like a big dumb dumb about stuff like that, but I'm learning. The older I get the more, like, I am kind of like naturally interested in it, but I understand how in this like time and space it's like really like totally like maybe not the best. And I understand that and that sucks. And I remember like before I made money like reading a magazine, it would be like sweater 1100, jeans 700. I'd be like that's like my fucking double my rent. Like get fucked. Right. Same.
Starting point is 00:46:14 And I will say that like that's why like I'm down with or mezzo because like it I do think if you have the money it is worth it. It's like other. It's an investment too. Like we grow. Designers. It's like something from H&M holds up the same as something from. You're actually so right about that. It is so true.
Starting point is 00:46:32 So there's really no shame I think in buying fast fashion and it can be just as durable and just as amazing. Right. So I'm not like a designer queen. Like I love high low. Yeah. I just wanted to hold up if I'm going to spend that money on it. No, that's actually so true. And I think that's why I waited a really long time before I bought anything to, like, design it for the first time.
Starting point is 00:46:51 I didn't go crazy out the gate. But I was very, like, I grew up with no money at all and, like, had no money for a very long time until I started making money. Yeah. But I think that's a good thing. I think that, honestly, that helps us, like, appreciate it more and spend it more wise. I even had a meeting with my business manager, like, a couple weeks ago. We're talking about some other business stuff I'm looking into. and she was like,
Starting point is 00:47:14 and she likes to do like health checks with me, like just like, hey, like we're looking good on taxes and whatever. And I'm like, okay, cool. And she was like,
Starting point is 00:47:21 honestly, like, you're like one of my least spendy clients. Like, she's like, you don't really buy anything. Like, like I'm not buying like a bunch of designers.
Starting point is 00:47:30 I'm not buying a bunch of cars. I'm not buying like anything super, super expensive, which is like, I think typical for influencers especially. It's good emotional regulation on your end. You don't need to do it with impulsivity. Right.
Starting point is 00:47:41 But I, But I also, I'm not an impulsive person, literally at all. I'll sit, I'll put something in a cart for weeks and think about it. I'm like, I need to think about that. It's time to refresh your yard during spring backyard days at the Home Depot. Get low prices guaranteed on propane grills starting $179, like the next grill three burner gas grill, or get $50 off a select Weber Spirit grill and bring big flavor to your backyard.
Starting point is 00:48:08 Then set the scene with Hampton Bay string lights that bring it all together. Shop Spring backyard days for seven days at the Home Depot. Now through May 6th. Exclusion supplies to homedipo.com slash price match for details. And then I just think about it and I'm like, and then I forget. And then I'm like, oh wait, I think I wanted to buy something. And then when I put it back in there again, I go, I need to think about that. Like, I just restart the clock every time.
Starting point is 00:48:30 I have a really good, like, safety system for this because, like, I don't know how to online shop. Like, so my stylist or, like, someone in my office, like, has to do it. Like, I, like, I tried to order a bag. and I put in the wrong address, no last name. Like, I didn't know the login for the place where I got it from. And then I had to call my head of operations. And I was like, I know that I ordered it because I got a confirmation email, but I don't know how to track it.
Starting point is 00:48:54 I didn't put a last name and I think I put the wrong address. Like, what are we going to do? And he found it because he's fucking amazing. I will say one thing that this job has, I've, like, introduced into my world that I never thought I would ever need was a travel agent. Oh, yeah. Girl, the way that that saves me so much time, stress, and energy. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I never in a million years thought I would need a travel agent. I didn't either, but as like, but once I started doing comedy, like, I've been, I've been in with the travel agents as like 2018. I could not do, I really could not. Like, they have got me out of so many pinches. No, me too. But you end up in weird situations. You're like, I'm stranded in Milwaukee and I need to get to Vegas or like, I need to get
Starting point is 00:49:32 to like fucking Saskatchewan or something. Yeah. I went to Penn State earlier this year to do like a college talk. and it was planes, trains and automobiles, first of all, to fucking get there. It was miserable. But we missed our first flight. It had to get rerouted.
Starting point is 00:49:46 Then I had to fly into D.C. And then a drive, like had a drive for four hours up to Pennsylvania, wherever the fuck we were. I mean, not even remembering. And we had to drive four hours there because I missed my flight, which was into a small airport. It was a whole thing. The day.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Thankfully, I had someone to like, also Carrie. Carrie's my assistant. So she's also wonderful and helps with stuff like that. Big up Carrie. I just never in a million years thought I would ever need something like that. But I was like, oh, perfect. We did it. We did it.
Starting point is 00:50:15 We made it. Yes. I do have more fun facts. Okay. Okay. This one says they used to have a funny or die series called Gay of Thrones where they would recap Game of Thrones episodes. It's true. I did know that.
Starting point is 00:50:27 It's true. We loved that. Actually, the funnest thing I think about that story is, is that when the Emmys first started awarding like essentially a web series, it was like short form or it was like, variety or like short form variety series or something the first time that that got like announced or like the first time the television academy made that a category gay of thrones was one of the first nominees it was like us like randy rainbow like carpool karaoke which would go on to win beat us every time we were nominated together james which i just want to say and not that i ever said it and i am so grateful for the academy in our nominations but i do just think there is something we said for like if on your diet we had a budget of 16 And we were up against NBC who was getting budgets to like book fucking Celine Dion and stuff. And I used to like we were able to make something with literally like two cents and like willpower. And I'm just when I do look back on that show though, it really is incredible like what we were able to make. And it was so cool and it was such a moment.
Starting point is 00:51:27 I think without Gay of Thrones, I would have never booked Queer Eye. And it's so true because the producers of Queer Eye like knew me from Gay of Thrones. And so they already kind of like liked me because they had saw that. Yeah. Yeah. How exciting. Yeah. Were you a House of Dragon fan too?
Starting point is 00:51:40 House of the Dragon? Yeah, we watch it. I think it's not as strong, obviously, as Game of Thrones. Yeah, because there's less storylines. Yeah, and like the uncle fucking. I'm just like, can I just, can we just like back off so much fucking our uncles? Like, God. You know what's so funny is like, I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:51:59 And a very logical brain of mine, I do agree with you. But that was hot. In the world of the show, I was like, get them together immediately. Yeah, he was. I mean them to exact for bed. hot. I feel like that character was, like, that uncle character was, like, I get why she was the only show that makes me... He was so sinuous.
Starting point is 00:52:14 Yeah, those, that might be only show. Yeah, that Norwegian muscle. Like that, that, that, that... He's got a strong forehead. Yes, that Laplandish... Matt Smith has that strong, like, pro-magnon forehead. Yes. I love that. Strong brow. Yes. Love that. My man has one. Oh, yes. Yeah, he's got a big Neanderthal friend. I love a nice, strong brow and nose.
Starting point is 00:52:33 Oh, me too. My husband has, like, a really good strong, like, Greek nose, I feel. He's not Greek, but it's not Greek, but it's not Greek, but it's just reminds me like a Greek statue. Love that. It's like really pretty. I know my, my fiance has like a very strong forehead and hooded eyes. I love good of hooded eyes. Me too.
Starting point is 00:52:47 I love that. I think, look at us. There's so much in common. We have really hot partners. That too. Which is exciting for us. I agree. And we're really hot.
Starting point is 00:52:56 Yeah, we do have so much of common. That makes a lot of sense then. Yeah. Good hair. We're both tall. Yeah, pretty faces. And unbelievably charming. Yeah, and witty.
Starting point is 00:53:05 Yeah. Can you believe it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Smarter than most people give us credit for I'd say.
Starting point is 00:53:10 Oh yeah, absolutely. Recently I had someone asked me, I did like a college talk to and someone asked me like what's something you wish people recognize about you more than what they do recognize for you, recognize you for now. And I was like, um, how smart I am. Like easily I would say how smart I am. And then, um, how kind I am that too. I was like, those really aren't the two main ones that they think of when they think of me.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Um, but I would say, yeah, smart. more than anything. Intellect. Mine is my ass. Because it is way tighter and like more shapely than it's ever been. And I just think because people aren't prepared or expecting that it's going to be like sitting where it is or filling out these jeans the way that it has been. I just feel like people other than my husband who does, but I have to prompt him kind of how I had to do with you with the sweater. I want these fucking hos to start saying like that JVN does.
Starting point is 00:54:05 It's like it's like little. but it's there. That's true. And I'm sick of these hos not saying that. Yeah, they need to recognize. Because I had a Tina Belcher ass my whole fucking life. It was just like a convex board. And it is not as convex.
Starting point is 00:54:20 No, it is not. And I want people to know. You need them to know. Nice right and tight. Yeah, there you go. Pop it a little. Perfect. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:54:32 It's pretty right. You really see it. Yeah. I know the material in your skirt is really like emphasizing of it. Oh my God. A little toch. Yes. What other, is there anything in there about me that I don't know? Let me see.
Starting point is 00:54:44 That you don't know. Something she knows. It says, for Halloween in second grade, you dressed up as the judge on the O.J. Simpson trial? Yeah, which is kind of controversial. This is like pre-Rachel Dolazol, pre-transracial. I did just see that she did detransition back to being fully white woman on Twitter, which was, I was like, wow, queen. But yeah, I did dress up as Judge Edo in second grade, who. was an Asian American man.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Right. I do think he passed away, but I didn't know, and I didn't do anything like controversial with my face shape. No, you just have a beard. I just drew on a beard. Yeah, you just have a beard and glasses. And I also was wearing my Sunday school, like, acolyte outfit. Tipper my judge robe.
Starting point is 00:55:23 That is a very interesting choice. Why that? Because I was fascinated with that trial. I was, I was sat for that trial. I was seven, and I just, I was very, I didn't understand racism or anything like that when I was six or seven, but I was, I was very not team OJ.
Starting point is 00:55:41 I was very, like, feeling like he probably did it. And I would... Well, I mean, because he did. Yeah. I guess even as a child, you know, I felt like I was like clocking it.
Starting point is 00:55:49 And I just like, ah, now here's it. This is actually really interesting six degrees of separation. Well, not that interesting. But Nicole's sister went on this, like,
Starting point is 00:55:58 speaking tour after the trial. And it was like a domestic, like, abuse, like awareness speaking to her. I think she'd written a book. And she came to my hometown. Okay. And she had the speech and like the holiday
Starting point is 00:56:06 in, like, downtown. And I went. And I was like eight and I was my mom. Well, I got up to go to the bathroom and I couldn't, I didn't know what emergency exit meant. So I went out this emergency exit in this ballroom and I set off this like emergency exit in the middle of her talk and got this like whole fucking hotel room or like hotel like ball space evacuated. Man. And Nicole Brown Simpson's sister's talking about it in like 1995 in my hometown.
Starting point is 00:56:33 And I always felt really fucking bad about that. I love when parents support their children's very niche special interests. Everyone in our hometown went. This is like a huge deal. No, I know. My parents have told me that before. I was born in 95. What a year.
Starting point is 00:56:50 So big year, you know, big year. But I think for me, like I also had very special interests as a child like that, that were fostered by my parents. Like my parents were fostering my whimsy even though it could have been. Yeah, it could have been. but I don't think it was. Like, I think my parents were like, well, it's not murdering anyone,
Starting point is 00:57:09 so I guess it's fine. What was your whimsy? Well, I went through really big phases. So, like, one of them that I went through was the Titanic. Oh. I was, like, obsessed with it in a way that, like,
Starting point is 00:57:19 I was almost studying it as if one day someone was gonna ask me to sail a cruise ship like that. Like, someone was one day going to ask me to pioneer it. So, like, I was studying it, like, like, tape, like footage. You've got to avoid the iceberg.
Starting point is 00:57:32 Yeah, and I, like, I was going to the library and checking out books on the Titanic. And, like, my mom was, I think I was in, like, fourth grade, fourth or fifth grade, and my mom was buying me books on the Titanic, like, for kids. The movie Anastasia did that to me for the Russian royalty. I loved the Romanov family. Yes, I went deep on that.
Starting point is 00:57:50 Like, like, library. I, like, I mean, and I was like, actually, if any of them would have survived, it would have been Tatiana, not Anastasi, because all the skeletons that they found actually matched up with Anastasias. But Tatiana is the one that could have survived. I also had an obsession with the Romanov family. I had his obsession. with quite a few people throughout, like,
Starting point is 00:58:08 I would say European monarchy because, like, I was King George the third once for, like, a wax museum, which, like, was so concerning to my teacher at the time because you were supposed to pick someone you admire. And I did not admire him, but I did explain to her that I thought he was fascinating
Starting point is 00:58:24 because he's one of the worst British monarchs in history. And, like, just to be the one, like, one of them after the hundreds they've had, it's just crazy to me. Girl, you would, you're, like, anti-colonization like ass being like in third grade like you know I've been to pick George
Starting point is 00:58:43 well you know you know why George a third I've like tried to unpack it and I really do think it's because the hubris of white people was fascinating you were clocking it early I think that's amazing and I literally when I wrote when I wrote the speech I started it with I'm one of the worst
Starting point is 00:58:59 English monarchs in British monarchy history and I like said that in my speech and like I talked about how to terrible of a leader I was, why it was so awful. I, like, explained all of that. And I think that's why my teacher let me do it, because it wasn't in a way that was like, he was the best. Like, yeah. I just, like, really was obsessed with white men specifically feeling so close to God that they could do awful things. And, like, with no repercussion. Like, I just, I just, I really did think that I was like, I find this fascinating. Like, my Titanic thing, I was, like, telling my cousin
Starting point is 00:59:31 this the other day, because I was telling him, when I watched the movie Titanic, I, as a child, I was like genuinely disappointed because I was like they didn't even talk about the boat. Like no one's talking about the captain or the crew or the classism that's being on board. Like I remember genuinely being surprised. That's so true though. I was like they didn't even talk about that stuff. Like they didn't even cover it. They did without doing it.
Starting point is 00:59:55 They like did like inexplicitly. And I asked my mom. I was like, is that story true like the story of Jack and Rose? And my mom was like, no. And then I go, what's the? point of this movie. Like, I need a documentary. Yeah, I'm thinking documentary.
Starting point is 01:00:10 Yeah, yeah. I'm thinking that, but you know, whatever. What do I know? What the fuck do I know? I was like, so like, this movie's all right. I remember thinking that younger, but that's just because I was like such a know-it-all too. I think that was another reason I loved knowing more things than the average person.
Starting point is 01:00:26 I love that we're both just like curious queens. Yes. Yeah. Like, I was so endlessly curious about stuff like that. I did have another stint about that, but this was when I was like, my now age. This was like last year. This was like, yeah, a couple years ago when the Elvis movie came out with Austin Butler.
Starting point is 01:00:42 I got really obsessed with Elvis's eating habits. Like I was doing a lot of research about that because he ate like an asshole. Like he ate bad. I think I've read about some of these. Yeah, but like I was looking up like cookbooks that people made based off his like food. And I was looking up the research and I was looking up the doctor's like findings after they like exhumed his body and shit. because he had like six months worth of shit still like blocked up inside him
Starting point is 01:01:07 because he never drank water and like never eat vegetables. So he was just eating like an asshole for years for so long. And I was just so hyper fixated on it like I could not stop reading stuff about it to the point where my uncle actually got me a book on Elvis's life and there's like a pretty large
Starting point is 01:01:23 chapter about the eating. You said this place was steps from the water. We just haven't found the steps yet. How much did we save? Enough. Enough to get lost. Or you could book a stay with Hilton. Welcome to your ocean front room.
Starting point is 01:01:40 Just steps from the water. The Hilton sale is on now. Book on Hilton.com or the Hilton app and save up to 20% to get the stay you expected. When you want savings, not surprises. It matters where you stay. Hilton for the stay. And I read it because I was so interested.
Starting point is 01:01:57 My neurodivergence is making me do this thing where when you talk about something, I have to talk about something similar. Please do. when you were about nine I it was 2004 and I think one thing that your generation needs to know more that you don't know is that Elvis had this daughter
Starting point is 01:02:13 named Lisa Marie Presley and she she just passed away like not that long ago but in the early 2000s she had this singing career and she was like 35 when she did it so she was like a little older than like these other pop divas and she had this song called Lights Down and it was like someone turned the lights off down in Memphis it's such a good song. The next line of it is,
Starting point is 01:02:36 that's where my family's dead. Or she's like, that's where my family's dead and gone. It's like this really like amazing, like kind of intergenerational, like haunting anthem about like empowerment and like how hard it is for her to go back home. And it was this massive like single. And then her recording career like didn't really catch off after that.
Starting point is 01:02:57 But it was like a huge one hit wonder. Like it was very much like number one like VH1 top 10 countdown. Okay. So in 2004, I told my mom that I was going to my friend's house. I just got my driver's license. Actually, I didn't have my driver's license. I had my driver's permit. And you could drive with someone who's over 21.
Starting point is 01:03:12 And there was this girl who was in my older brother's grade. And we wanted to go see Lisa Marie Presley at the Illinois State Fair. But that was in Springfield, which was like two hours away. So I was like, Mom, like me and Nikki, like, Nikki's just going to like, I'm going to spend the night at Nikki's house. And I'm just going to drive the car over there. But she's going to be with me. And she's like 22, so that's fine. Bitch, we stole my mom's car, went to Springfield.
Starting point is 01:03:32 watch Lise Marie Presley at the Illinois State Fair, then lost the car at a parking lot, because there was these big parking lot places, lost the fucking car. And then my mom called me that night, and she was like, okay, well, I need to use a car, so why don't she just drive home? And then I can drive you and Nikki back.
Starting point is 01:03:48 And I was like, oh, no, we can't. Because we're, and just, like, had to make up all these lies. And I think this might be how my mom finds out that we did steal the car and go to Springfield if she's listening to this podcast. Yeah. Well, I know your mom's a huge fan of the pod. But she was really good. Like Lisa and Presley in that concert was amazing at the Illinois State Fair.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Okay, T. Yeah. You have had such niche interest from such a young age. And I love that they're kind of like aligned. Yeah, they are. They're very on brand, honestly. Speaking of white people being insane, though, I saw this like white TikTok preacher, like televangelist, like on my feed the other day.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Tea. And he was saying I grew up in like a really like churchy, like very conservative, like culture and area. Yeah. And I remember my family went to this church just one time and saw this pastor that was talking much like this guy. And he was like, it's spiritual warfare everywhere. And there are demons that are flying into your mouth from music videos and social media. And the enemy is pushing you at all times with tits and temptation.
Starting point is 01:04:43 And it's demons. And I was like, goddamn. So these people literally imagine demons and angels. Oh, he was also saying, he was also saying that like there's angels and demons like amongst us and angels won't try to fuck you, but demons will try to fuck you. He said that like demons will use spiritual warfare to like try to fuck you. But angels are amongst us. but they don't try to fuck you.
Starting point is 01:05:01 And he was dead serious, like talking about this from like a Christian, like evangelical, like spiritual warfare, like Trumpy place. And I was like, wait, so these people literally believe that angels and demons are flying through music videos and flying through our fucking phones and shit
Starting point is 01:05:14 and like going into people's bodies and trying to fuck them. But don't believe that like trans people can exist. And don't believe that some cultures had a third gender that was like legit and normal and like not this like weird. It's like the shit that people can believe in evangelicalism,
Starting point is 01:05:30 but then can't believe science or can't believe history or can't believe these. It just blows my fucking mind. Like white people, like evangelical white people, especially in the American South. Wow. I'm not even kidding. Like, that's what I think truly, like, fascinated me about things like that. Because a lot of the things I would hyperfixing on too, like would lead to tragedy in some grand regard.
Starting point is 01:05:52 Look at the Romanovs. Right. Like, exactly. And they have these like... Anti-Titanic. Well, and even like the oligarchy, like, as a whole in in the UK like parliament all this up the way that their system works and how they just kind of like they're like this is the guy he's the guy now so he's going to tell you what you need to
Starting point is 01:06:11 be doing this is the guy I find that insane like I just find that general concept in a very like black and white like bare bones thing insane like why am I listening to this one fucking family like for generations and all of them are awful like they just so all oh just so happen to all be fucking awful. Like the British monarchy is responsible for almost all of the world's problems. So like, like currently. So I think that's what would fascinate me about that was infatuation. Like it was like people's just willingness to believe like what someone just fucking tells them. Like and I think I've even talked about that with my sister in regards to like the Pope and like Catholicism. Because I find Catholicism so interesting because it's like this is the guy. He's the guy. He talks to the big guy.
Starting point is 01:06:57 and you listen to him. And then people cry when they pick the guy. Like, I find that fascinating. I really do. Did you see that movie? What was that movie last year that got, like, got nominated for? Yes. I have not seen Conclave, no.
Starting point is 01:07:08 Girl. I heard it was fire, though. You have to watch it. I find it fascinating. When are you flying back from New York? Wednesday. Should you watch it on the plane? Okay, T.
Starting point is 01:07:17 I'm going to text you to remind you. Okay. Or, like, are you going out tonight? I don't know. I don't think so. Honestly, I think you and your fiancé should fucking watch it. Okay, see. Like, have your fiance take a shirt off and you take your shirt off.
Starting point is 01:07:26 And just cuddle and fucking watch Conclave. Yeah, sit topless in bed. Yeah, sit topless in bed. If I was you, that's what the fuck I would be doing. Because it is so, it is. Sounds like a night well spent. It is so fucking good. I heard you are triggered by like people shit.
Starting point is 01:07:41 Yes. Girl. That's why I said the hubris of man is fascinating to me. Drew, not the way bitch. I, please. Okay, I will. Watch it. I will.
Starting point is 01:07:50 And then DM me or text me and be like, you were so right. You know me so fucking good. This is like so amazing. the way that you were going to be like so fucking taken with it. I don't want to over promise, but just based off of like the Venn diagram of our like niche interests. And if your fiance goes down on you during it, forget it. Y'all ever get eaten out during conflict?
Starting point is 01:08:11 Let me know. Sometimes I was like it could be like taken to this whole other place. Sounds like a date. It's not a very sexy movie to be honest. I don't know like what part he's going to do it on. Because you might be like, babe, this isn't the time. I'm like, nah, it's out right now. Maybe he could eat you out and then you could watch Conclave.
Starting point is 01:08:28 And then we watch Concliffe. Or, yeah, because after it's my, yeah. Yeah. Although, I don't know. I'll be in Porcina Los Dose. Yes, why not have both? Yeah, start during, then restart it after. Ooh, save it.
Starting point is 01:08:43 Yeah, save it for later. That reminds me, but not really. Have you watched The New Frankenstein? No. You should watch it. Do you loved it? I loved it. It was a fun watch for me.
Starting point is 01:08:52 And it's just a movie, right? Yeah. I should do it. It's long. I like Jacob Allorty. Yeah, I would, I would like park. Like, if you're, like, gonna watch it, I'd be, like, planned to be here for a while. Because it's a long movie.
Starting point is 01:09:02 But you get to watch it at home, so that's nice. I got invited to this birthday party tonight, but only, like, two days ago, which makes me feel like they didn't think about me in the first place. And then after not getting invited to Wicked, I was like, maybe I should just go and, like, not be, like, choosy about it. But I already had dinner plans. And so then there's, like, this dancing thing after the birthday dinner party. And they were like, and I'm just like, I just don't know if I have it in me.
Starting point is 01:09:24 to fucking do it. And so I think I think I might just go to dinner and then watch Frankenstein afterwards. I love that. I'm just, I can't. You have a date with Frankenstein
Starting point is 01:09:33 and I have a date with Conclave. Yeah, I want to. Yeah. To go to the party. Yeah, like I, the theory of it sounds great. But the truth is, is that I'm 38 and it's Tuesday. And I got to go on tour this weekend
Starting point is 01:09:45 and I got to do my best in Richmond in Boston. And I got to like, I got a fucking prioritize. And I don't think I can go out tonight. You got to go in the crate. That's what I call it. Oh, yeah. I got to go in the crate.
Starting point is 01:09:54 And I got to go in the crate. and I got to put the blanket over it and it's nighttime for me. I gotta go to bed. That's what I have to do. You have to. And that's okay. That's okay.
Starting point is 01:10:02 And I would feel the same way about a last minute invite. But it is why I don't have that many friends. And I do think it's like why celebrities like ghost me as friends a lot because like every time they invite me in places, I'm like, in theory, I would love. Yes.
Starting point is 01:10:16 And I'm so grateful for the invite. I feel that though. And I want to be invited. I feel that. I feel that so hard. It's making me wonder if I need to switch to Sativas. I'm like, is my Indica making me too tired?
Starting point is 01:10:27 Is this why I don't want to go out? Is this why I have social anxiety? Honestly, Sativa makes me feel so, like, different, like, in a not as enjoyable way. I like being, but I know what you mean, like, because the Indica makes you feel like a dart, like elephant darts like neck. Like, you're like, ugh. Like, but Sativa is more of a workable high or whatever they said. My girlfriend is a hardcore Sativa girl, but I'm a hardcore endicca girl.
Starting point is 01:10:50 And I went to her house the other day and we smoked at like nine in the morning. and then I was like, the way that I ravidously cleaned her house for two and a half hours, like I became obsessed with like cleaning the dust boards, like everything. And then I was like, damn, maybe I should, because the reason I got off sativa's is because I feel like they made me really anxious. I agree with that. And Indica's don't. It made me feel like my brain was going a little bit of coop.
Starting point is 01:11:12 Paranoid. Everyone hates me. I don't know when to stop talking. Yes. And so then I switched to Endicca, I feel like that went away. Right. But then this one little dipping my toe into the sativa blunt a few weeks ago, I, I've never cleaned that hard in my life.
Starting point is 01:11:23 Honestly, you're honestly on to something because one time I, I think it was a, like a drink. And it was like a setiva drink. And the girl that we got it from, like at the dispensary, she was like, this is great if you need to get something done. And I was like, oh, really? She's like, yeah, like when I need to like really lock in and do something, I drink this thing. And I was like, okay. And she goes, and if you mix it with like an energy drink, it's even better. Oh, I love that.
Starting point is 01:11:46 It's like a sort of speedball. Yes. And I was like, okay. So then I went home and I did that. and I cleaned my entire closet. I like, because I put headphones on too. Oh my gosh. I felt like I reached a real flow state.
Starting point is 01:11:59 The world. Yeah. Just like so in there. I felt like I was moving a million miles an hour. I was like going at, I was going to town in that closet. My favorite auntie got into my refrigerator and drank one of those weed drinks. And then I found her in the guest bedroom and like the shape of like when someone gets murdered and they draw like the outline of someone. She was like face down and her shoes were still.
Starting point is 01:12:22 on. And I was like, Auntie, like, and she literally slept for two days. Oh my God. Like, I was so excited to see her.
Starting point is 01:12:29 Like, I didn't tell her to drink it, but it incapacitated her. And she did not, she, I had to check her to make sure to make sure. I, like, moved her head to the side
Starting point is 01:12:37 so she could breathe. And that was, yeah, she was out. I do want to say, before we wrap, I do want to tell this story because when I was on your show last, when I was last time I was in New York.
Starting point is 01:12:46 Or, like, actually it was a few times before that. You were like, let's go smoke after. So we went downstairs to go smoke after and like we were smoking keying right keying down you and i just gabbing and as we were smoking i hit the i hit your your j at one point and i had to cough so bad and i i was literally telling those after we left we parted ways i was like well you were like while you were talking to me and i
Starting point is 01:13:11 remember at one point i was like i'm gonna freak out because i have to cough so loud but i don't want to be rude and then you were like i remember you look at me you go are you okay and then i go I was like, I have to coughs. Drew, have you ever need to dislodge a lugi or like cough it out in front of me? Like, I am so pro that. You could never gross me out. I love. I knew you would, but it was more so that I was going to cough for 20 minutes.
Starting point is 01:13:32 And I didn't want. I was like, trying to let me like stop talking. Well, no, you know how it's one of those where it's like, oh my God, I'm so annoying. I can't stop coughing. That's how I fell. I get like my bi-an-I-gitis. It's my biannual bonkitis. And I've told that story, but I didn't say who it was.
Starting point is 01:13:45 I was like, I was smoking with my friend. And I was like, And you know what's funny is you were, you were sharing tea with me, bitch. So I was like, we were gabbing about it. Yeah, but then I was like, like, looking at you. Because I was like, this is the craziest story I've ever heard and I can't even emote to it because I'm going to pass out. I'm sorry, queen. No, I literally was like, when I walked back over to my family, we were like, bye, bye, bye.
Starting point is 01:14:11 And we walked away, my fiancee was like, how was it? I was like, bro, it was fucking tar. I literally was like, ah. Sorry No, it was so good I was high for a couple hours After that I was less I think I need to start smoking different weed
Starting point is 01:14:24 I got high with this girl That I met at a party the other day And she literally just like passed out In the middle like she's like nice to me And she's passed out in my arms Like on the side of the street And I had to like get her a Pepsi And like sit with her
Starting point is 01:14:34 And she's like sorry I did the hair For like three fashion shows today And I didn't eat And then I drank a bunch of alcohol And then I got high with you And I was like oh that'll do it Cross faded Yeah
Starting point is 01:14:42 But I was like my husband was like I think we need to get like Less strong joints For when you smoke with strangers I was like, God damn, when I went down myself, I felt like... She's got the high tolerance. I honestly, so do I, though. That's why I felt like I just felt like I hit it like a newbie.
Starting point is 01:14:57 Just hit it. No, you wrong mistake. Wait, thank you for having me on. I love you so much. Oh, thank you so much for coming back. I love you. I'm obsessed with you. You're the best.
