Hello, I'm Hannah.
And I'm Seruti.
And we are the hosts of a Red Handed, a weekly true crime podcast.
Every week on Red Handed, we yet stuck into the most talked about cases.
But we also dig into those you might not have heard of, like the Nephiles Royal Massacre
and the Nithory Child Sacrifices.
Whatever the case, we want to know what pushes people to the extremes of human behaviour.
Find, download, and binge Red Handhanded wherever you listen to your podcasts.
Go SoundReal. At least as a journalist, that's what I've always believed. Sure, odd things
happened in my childhood bedroom, but ultimately, I shrugged it all off. That is, until a couple of
years ago, when I discovered that every subsequent argument of that house is convinced they've experienced something inexplicable too,
including the most recent inhabitant who says she was visited at night by the ghost of a faceless woman.
And it gets even stranger.
It just so happens that the alleged ghost haunted my childhood room might just be my wife's great grandmother.
It was murdered in the house next door by two gunshots to the face. From Wondering and Pineapple Street Studios comes Ghost Story, a podcast about family secrets
overwhelming coincidence and the things that come back to haunt us.
Follow Ghost Story on the Wondering app or wherever you get your podcasts.

We can never not be all of us.
In book six of meditations, Marcus Aurelius gives him and us a command to keep an important
idea in mind.
Meditate often, he writes, on the interconnectedness and mutual
interdependence of all the things in the universe. He is speaking of the stoic concept of
sympathy, the idea that Assetica wrote, all that you behold, all that comprises both God
and man is one. We are all parts of one great body. Why should we think about this? What
will it do?
Well, to the Stoics, understanding how we are all connected
and dependent on each other will prompt us to be good
and do good for each other.
Talking about the inspiration and making of the song
Holy Fields, Justin Vernon from the band Bonnie Vare
put it beautifully, we can never not be all of us.
We are always sharing the moment we are in,
the moment we are here living in time.
And so it's really hard to separate
and really truly try to decipher what one person really is
because you don't really have one person without the other.
And that to me, he said, is just like sacred math
for figuring out all our problems as human beings.
It's just understanding that there's always the other that we're kind of responsible for.
We are part of an interconnected organism.
You can't help another person without helping yourself.
You can't harm another person without harming yourself.
We are all parts of the same home. We are all bees of the same hive,
as Marcus like to say, and this is why the Stoics believe that a good life hinges on justice,
on being a good steward of the hive, of the common good, because you can listen to the Daily Stoic early and add free on Amazon Music,
