This is Dale Jr.
And you're listening to Dirty Moe Radio.
We should have one day, right?
I've got a great job all day.
Don't be hard on yourself.
We fought all day, and that's what matters.
Good job on second.
Man, so close.
Kurt Busch.
Freaking Kurt Busch.
Husshole.
It was live from the Exalta Studios.
This is the Dale Jr.
Download.
there by Spy. It's the craziest paint scheme yet. Get the all new limited edition Spy Rangler Daga
sunglasses online at Spyoptic.com. I'd like you to tweet us and try to spell the words we were
just, that's right, saying, uh, that's right. However you spell that, because I know that that's how
you felt to speaking of Exalta. I had my, my tweet already. Welcome to the We Paint Dale Jr.
wins. Exa 400. Wait, wait. So close. You already had that tweet.
tweet down up. I had it somewhat already ready.
Like I had it, no, I had it in my mind.
I hear it. But Kerr was supposed to run out of gas.
Dang it? He was supposed to run out of gas.
I had, man, somebody just won $88,000 ready to tweet out.
Oh, I wanted that for somebody, too. Not even me.
But I also wanted that win. I wanted to be in the chase.
I'm tired of talking about when Dale Jr. is going to win.
So fourth second place finish of the year.
That's almost comical.
You know what, though?
there probably are a lot of people listening to this podcast right now that are saying,
boys, I get it.
I totally get it.
I'm with you.
I had the same feeling.
I made the same sounds.
But remember what Taylor and Mike said on this very podcast last week.
We're not going to go crazy about a win right now.
If we can get a top five finish in Pocono, man, that would be such great momentum for us.
It would be such a great lift.
There are people saying that to us right now, my.
because we are saying this.
And they are right.
They are right.
Because you know what?
We needed this top five.
Pocono has now become one of our best tracks.
This is Del Jr.
Sixth top five in his last seven Pocono races.
Did you realize that?
It's crazy.
Six top five and last seven Pocono races.
There are two times where he should have won there.
Yes.
Remember that?
And two times he did win there.
Right.
He swept two years ago.
Right.
But what was it?
Three, four years ago when he had to come in for gas.
with under 10 laps to go?
Oh, yes.
Who could forget that?
That was, oh, that's right.
That's right.
I had forgotten about that one.
That one was a lot more difficult to swallow.
I think that was right before he won in Michigan.
It was.
It was.
So check this out.
I know.
This was frustrating, but I'm going to actually look at the bright side here.
This was a good weekend, and you know why?
Why?
We qualified eighth.
Yeah.
We qualified eight.
And a lot of people kind of jumped on me saying, hey, easy there, Davis.
You know, you're getting a little too excited for qualified.
I'm like, listen.
All three rounds were consistent in that deal.
That's right.
And that's right.
And you take these baby steps here now.
You know, if you take out restrict your plate races.
I tweeted this.
You take out restrictor plate races in the Dover race where we got rained out, qualifying got rained out.
Our qualifying average is 21st this year.
That's 21st average.
So when you qualify 8, it is a good day.
And you take that and you take it into the weekend.
And I thought that their speed transferred into Sunday.
Maybe not at the very beginning.
of this race.
No.
I say Sunday.
We actually race today.
Monday.
Right.
It transferred.
It probably transferred through Sunday and to Monday.
Hey, when have you had speed that actually transferred to Monday, right?
So it did, though.
And so they had this race, but this was a complete race, I thought, because, you know,
it didn't start out great, but the pit crew was really good.
The adjustments were really good.
And there he was right there at the end with a chance to win this thing.
Yeah.
You're right.
First 50, 60 laps or so.
Yeah.
I wasn't so sure.
After that, I mean, it was a very competitive car.
I don't think there's any question.
It was one of the top two, three, four cars out there.
I mean, as you heard, he felt like you should have won the race.
And on the restarts, I know he's frustrated about that.
But, man, I'm really, really fired up about what happened.
And I'll tell you what I'm most fired up about Mike is Brad Kislowski was coming.
I mean, Brad Kowalski for four or five laps there.
The last four or five laps, you thought, okay, well, he's going to pass him.
I mean, he's right at his bumper.
You know, he's going to pass him.
He's not worried about.
gas and Dale Jr. drove the wheels off that thing to stay in front of him because there's no
question that car was faster than the 88. It was faster than the 88. But so it's so weird on these
races, you don't know who's saving and who's going as hard as they can go. Clearly Brad
put throttle down and was going after it. I didn't know what Brad's feel situation was, to be
honest with you. I have no idea. He was totally good. No, no, he was totally good. He came in
and got a splash there on the last caution. So him and Harvick both were totally good.
Okay.
And Junior and Kurt and several others, obviously, we're very worried about it.
I thought Kurt was worried about it.
Man, I thought he was going to run out of gas.
And I still think he might be driving back to Charlotte right now in his car.
I know, seriously, I mean, when he's doing burnouts, I'm like, okay, guys, what is going on here?
Because here was the weird part.
I thought Dale was going to be short, right?
I mean, when we pitted, when we pit it at a lap 119, I've told him that we were three laps short.
Now, I don't know what happened in between that point and the point where he says,
we're good and the 41 isn't.
That was at 1-37.
I don't know that Dale would have made up three laps.
I mean, we had a caution.
We did have that last caution period.
Anyways, I'm not sure.
He was a junior Johnson saving machine is what he was.
I was just feeding him a line or something.
I don't know.
He had his fuel tank was seven.
No, I'm just kidding.
It absolutely was not.
We are kidding on that.
But, you know, I think that you could hear in Dale's voice where he's,
He was not really sure that we were that good, to be honest with you, right?
Do you agree, Davis?
Davis was saying that same.
Yeah, David, come on, first name.
You were texting me about this.
I was a little surprised in post-race press conference on said junior.
He talked about how he didn't think it was a second-place car.
And I actually thought it was as good as a car as almost anybody in the field.
Yeah, I did too.
And he thought it kind of something like they were fringe, top five-ish.
No.
And I kind of thought they were better than that.
He's got to quit being so down on himself.
I'm telling you.
Bring him back in here.
Bring him back into the studio.
Bring him back into the Exalt of the studio.
So we need to have a word with him.
Anyway, so the only car that I thought that might be better was Chase.
Yeah.
I thought we were better than the 41.
I really did.
With 50, I got to tell you, with 50, 60 laps to go, I thought the 24 was going to win that thing.
I thought he's going to completely drive away from the field.
Yeah.
That kid is.
He really is.
But you know what?
Congratulations to Kurt Busch.
and everyone with that team.
We were just looking at this before.
I know you have a lot of friends associated with that team, so congratulations to the team.
I do.
That's the old bud team right there.
A lot of those guys.
So we finished second four times this year.
We have finished second two.
You ready for this?
Jimmy Johnson, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch, and Kyle Busch.
Can you name me four other drivers who you would.
The Junior Nation can't.
Hate more to finish second two than those four guys?
It's like the racing gods are trolling us.
here. John Claude and Talladega nights, that's about it.
Holy moly. I mean, four second
place finishes to those guys. So, yeah, man, this is, it's
rough. But you know what? Again, there was some upside here. You lead your
first lap since March 13th was the last time we'd led laps.
Wow. I mean, that's a nine race deficit right there. So that was
good. You lead laps. You're up there contending.
Again, it's his fourth runner up finish, his six top five
in his last seven races at Pocono.
take this momentum. Let's take it to Michigan. Let's take it to Michigan. Exactly. Yes. And look, obviously Michigan has been a great place in recent years. Obviously 2008, 2012, and you've got to go a little ways back for two incredible examples of that. But we know that he's always confident going to Michigan. Was it last year or two years ago before the engine problem? I mean, he was absolutely dominating everybody there.
Yeah, he was mowing them down.
Yeah, so I think that you have to be confident.
First name, Davis, tell everybody what you texted me.
I texted you this with how many laps to go, 30 laps to go or so,
and I said, I don't care what happens.
And I really, I wanted to document this so I could say it to myself in case I'd be frustrated
in this exact situation happened.
I said, no matter what happens, great to see this kind of effort today.
This is a huge lift.
And what did you say?
I said, how can you not be encouraged?
Dale performing well is awesome,
but I got pretty pumped seeing Chase, Dale, and JJ up front all day.
Maybe Hendrick has caught up.
Well, you know, Dale said the Chevroletes have gained something here recently.
He said that in his press conference, which you can listen to on Sid Jr.
On Dirty Moe Radio, free of charge, 24-7.
Yeah, so he was saying that he felt like the Chevroletes had gained something.
And certainly not gained everything back here to what they have had to deal with with the Toyotas,
but certainly a good weekend for them.
Hey, you know what I'm going to bring something up, Taylor.
Okay.
I want to bring a couple things up.
One, did you catch, I know you've been traveling today,
so I didn't know if you caught this early in the race
what Brad Gislauski's team got penalized for?
No.
And I need to ask you,
I need to also ask you about the Goldberg move by some,
because I did.
The first 50 laps of the race I was trying to pick up the pieces of what was going on.
Right, because you were traveling.
So basically, I thought this was fascinating.
During a pit stop, Brad Tislausky's jack man basically leaves the jack and just like bomb rushes the two car on the side panel and just puts a big dent in it.
Okay.
So that was what I was talking about, the Goldberg spear.
He just like, like he ran into it like a tackling dummy to put a monster dent in it, big dent to gain side force.
No, that's why he got penalized.
But I thought it was hilarious.
I thought, you know, it reminded me of our front.
friend Dato who got so tickled by the uh by the so you said having your jack man and i was like
wow our guy did that uh you're okay yeah not ours yours okay okay kislauskis right remind you to
sloppy yellow it reminded me that daddo got so tickled when letart dropped the the car on the on the
block to fix it yeah and i said that that's why i said this was daddo approved because this was a
redneck way to get yourself some cyphors there's no doubt about that and while that they
definitely got penalized
and Brad and the team actually kind of, you know, questioned it at the end.
I thought it was a magnificent way of using brains.
And even though it didn't turn out, I thought it was hilarious.
And I was thoroughly entertained by it.
Is Junior aware of it?
I doubt it.
Okay, because he would have LMAO'd, if you will.
Oh, yeah.
Because every time Kislowski gets hit for speeding on pit road,
junior laughs hysterically on the radio.
And keep in mind, Kislowski used to live on his property, okay?
So it's not like, you know, you're allowed to laugh at it.
Right.
Right.
But especially in Bristol, I mean, it was a couple years ago.
And Littart said two got penalized on pit road and junior, I mean, fell out.
So I'm sure that he would be entertained by that.
It was entertaining.
Yeah, I strongly encourage you to go watch a replay of that because the dude.
First of all, the dude belongs on a football team.
If he put a dent in the car that big, sign him up.
I mean, at least at the CFL or something.
Come on.
All right.
So the other thing I wanted to say,
say was about our pit stops because they were good all day.
But on lap 119, which is the ninth caution of 10, 9 of 10 cautions here, we've made the pit stop.
We came in fifth.
We were fifth place.
We come in.
The three had hit the wall.
Dale Jr.'s team put him out a second on four tires.
Now, we restarted six, but four guys in front of him were either on zero tires or two tires.
And that was the money stopped because on that restart,
At lap 122, Dale Jr. went from sixth to second, like in one turn.
And essentially, that's when Jimmy Johnson wrecked.
And the caution comes out immediately.
And you're like, oh, man, if he would have had one or two more corner,
if Dale Jr. would have taken the lead, no problem.
As it turns out, the leader was what, Ty Dillon, and he pitted.
So that's what put Junior in first place.
And so you can go back and if you work backwards,
the pit crew absolutely put Dale Jr. in position to win this race.
And we bang on them so much when, you know,
when something happens, when you hang a lug nut or whatever it is,
you absolutely have to call out and give them credit for getting him a chance to win that race.
Absolutely.
You absolutely do.
And you're so right about that pit stop, too, which was very, I hope all of Junior Nation was encouraged to watch that this afternoon.
So, man, ultimately, I was a little distracted because I just watched this video, and that is absolutely hilarious.
Oh, did you watch the Kazowski deal?
Just watched a Kislauski deal.
I mean, it's impressive, right?
That's hysterical.
That's absolutely hysterical.
That's blatantly obvious that you should be penalized for that.
That was fantastic.
The best part of that was, and Jeff Gordon brought this up.
He goes, the team, and I bet this is not in that clip, but the team goes,
and they're like arguing and questioning the official, but they happen to also bring the tool.
They already had the tool to pop that dent back out handy.
ready to go.
So it's like, come on.
I think they might have anticipated this being an issue.
Hey, one other thing involving Kislauski, I just want to ask your thoughts on.
He was fired up with Jeff Gordon, and Jeff Gordon has responded to Kislowski.
Well, set the context.
So let me set the context here.
Brad Kislowski was told after the race that the FS1 commentators compared his body modification,
that you're referring to, to the same at Vegas win.
and Kislauski's response was, quote,
that's because Jeff Gordon is in the booth.
We need guys up there who aren't team owners
and who don't have a financial interest who aren't biased.
They need to get some people in the booth that aren't inbred to the sport
and own teams and have internal knowledge
because that's pretty crappy, Kislowski said.
Jeff Gordon's response is,
I will admit I am biased in the booth.
To anyone making it interesting and exciting
for all the NASCAR on Foxxie.
viewers. Good response. Hey, well, that's interesting. I see both sides here. I will say that the people
in any sport that are in that position, what do you call that position that Jeff is in? Is that
color commentary? Yes, yes. Okay, so anybody that typically is in color commentary is either a former
athlete or something. Is that right? Yes. Yes. So you could probably use that bias card on any of them.
You could, and it's very rare to get someone that is brutally honest. I mean, you, and I don't know that
NASCAR's ever had that, to be honest with you.
I mean, Billy Packer was that way in college basketball.
Johnny Miller is that way in golf.
Charles Barkley is that way.
And I know Davis, just about everybody watches that,
regardless if you're a basketball fan or not,
because you never know what he's going to say next.
But there are only a handful of examples of former players, Mike,
that are brutally honest.
People are very critical of John Gruden because he's so protective of the coaching fraternity.
You know, so that happens everywhere.
So Brad, while I absolutely understand and appreciate what he's saying.
Because he's not wrong.
Because he's exactly.
He's not wrong.
He needs to understand that this is in every single sport.
That's not just NASCAR.
That's right.
It would be hard.
It would be easy to accuse any of them being biased because they're all usually former athletes or former coaches or have some affiliation or ties to the sport.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
I mean, there's a really good chance that Kislauski might have that opportunity.
one day and probably own some teams.
Hey, Dale Jr. is going to be in the booth
for the Xfinity race this weekend
at Michigan. Very cool.
Yeah. So he happens to own three of the cars that'll be
racing out there. I wonder what
old Brad Kuzlowski has to say about that.
Right. This weekend.
Does he have a problem when Ned Jarrett called
Dale Jarrett and the Daytona 500 or
Darrell called Michael?
You know, if you remember back, people did complain about
that about Ned Jarrett calling
Dale Jarrett. I remember that. I thought they were idiots because I'm like, man, that was a good moment.
But to say, yeah, Darrell calling Michael, Ned calling Dale, I mean, yeah.
Anyways.
One day, one day, maybe Jeff's going to call Jeb?
Jeff Gordon will be calling, what's his kid's name?
Leo?
Yeah. One day Dale Jr. is going to call Jeffrey.
And Leo's going to win the Daytona 500.
Oh, well.
That's funny stuff.
Back on track, it, you know, it was a really good day.
We are, we're going to keep making those noises.
Dale Jr. is probably making them as much as anybody.
You mean this?
Gr, when you're that close, when you can taste it, it's really tough to swallow.
It is.
If you ain't first, your last kind of deal.
But this was so much better than anything we've experienced in, what, Mike, six, seven weeks?
I mean, it's been a while.
This was a rut, right?
I would say the last really good race that we had, which, you know, you could argue that it wasn't even that greater race was Bristol.
Yeah, because it didn't feel like second, right, right, yeah, because the way it happened.
I mean, yeah, let me look here.
I mean, yeah, so since Bristol, we've finished 13th, 40th, 15th, 32nd, 14th, and then today we finished second second, yeah.
So it's been a long month.
It's been a rut.
Yeah, and so that's why we need to be very fired up about what happened today.
And that's the way we will treat it.

That's J.R. Nation. Nationwide is on your side.
All right, buddy.
Coming to the green.
Taste car is in.
All right, ready.
Green, go, go, green.
Well, we go, we go, we go.
Take it off, take it off.
Just a little bit tight on all the exits.
We're laid out to the wall.
We're looking at adjusting air and taking a little stretch out.
Probably got through one.
Pretty good.
It's a good.
It's embarrassed to be there.
Buddy, caution is out.
Competition caution.
I don't know why.
Don't turn.
Hey, so far, we're going to take two rounds on left rear, one in the right rear.
Get some wedge out of you there.
I'll get your splitter down about 40,000s as well.
It doesn't show high in the pictures.
I'm just saying that might help your feeling of it, thinking is high.
Trust what I think or feel on that splitter ever,
I just look at the pictures.
If I talk about it, I just want you to look at the pictures
and make a decision from the photos.
Careful.
It'll be all over the motherfucker-fitter. I don't know.
Everybody guys.
stop one more time from here. We're right on it. You know, we don't have any more fuel we can spare,
so we'll make sure that we maximize this run.
41 needs to save to make it. We do not. Go get them.
It stumbles, what do I do? Go to two. Yeah, go to two now. Just two now.
It hasn't stumbled yet.
Obviously, it'll be... Check a flag right here. He made it there. P2, all clear.
We should have won that race. That was my fault on those.
I shouldn't have let that 40 went by.
You shouldn't have passed.
Hey, buddy, you did a great job all day.
Don't be hard on yourself.
We fought all day, and that's what matters.
Good job on second.
This week, we are not interrupting reaction theater.
We're just going to let it play and play all the reaction theater calls,
and we'll come back on the other side.
I'll be brutally honest about it.
It's because we're doing this on a Monday,
obviously because the schedule's behind,
but we absolutely want to make sure reaction theater is in there,
so first name Davis, hit it.
For tomorrow, I have a prediction.
Now, Junior blocks to the right.
What a beautiful move.
And the slide raises the shrub, clear out of the groove.
Bush is still rising, and Stevens wears a frown,
for he can't start pitting till Kyle comes down.
Now, Bush disappears from view.
The crowd is getting frantic.
But our radar stations have picked him up.
He's somewhere over the Atlantic.
Who would have fought when they came to the fight,
that they'd witness the launching of a human satellite?
Yes, the crowd did not dream when they came to see Bush,
that Jr. would not call him.
back on his tush. Junior is the greatest. Rest in peace champ. Hashtag Dale yeah. Hashtag
go get him the margin, bug.
Son of a bitch. Good job to the Kurt Busch, but I just had a heart stint put in on Friday.
I'm home recovering and my heart did not need that finish. So close, Jr.
Way to go. My heart's racing. I hope you didn't kill me. Good job. Go get them next week.
I think, was it Michigan?
Dale, yeah. Hell yeah.
Hashtag, no beer.
Bye.
Well, I guess if somebody had to sacrifice $88,000 to find speed in the car,
I'll make that sacrifice gladly for Team 88.
Tick crew held the job.
Car is fast.
Always a good sign.
Let's head back out and drink some tow beer, sell break.
Hell yeah.
Mike Davis
So God bless America
Because where else can you go and live
And sit in your office on a Monday
Watch the race on TV
Watch the leaderboard
And listen to TJ majors on your computer
And sit and read all the tweets
Going on about the race
Great way to start the week
Second place run
Obviously everybody wants to win
But this is a huge stretch for that team
Pocono, Michigan
Sonoma, Daytona, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Indianapolis, and back to Pocono.
Great opportunity to pick up a win, maybe multiple wins in these next eight races or so.
Got to keep up that momentum.
So God bless America, and God bless Dellenhart Jr.
Dale ya.
Man, I tell you what, man, that big-oom 88 car.
Shoot, man, I thought that thing going to win that biggum race, man.
What, dear?
Hell yeah, man.
Second-case finish.
Can't get no better than that.
Well, I mean, he can, but yeah.
We'll take second.
Let's go get them next week at Michigan.
Kurt, Bush, you saw the bitch.
You cost me $88,000.
Damn.
Hashtag, no beers.
Well, it's about time.
Dale Jr. and Team 88 put together
a complete and nearly perfect race weekend, as far as I'm concerned.
We started fast off the truck, started inside the top 10.
made an early adjustment to our race car, got it back fast.
The pit crew did a phenomenal job to get us where we needed to be.
Didn't lose any spots on pit road.
Our driver Dale Jr. did fantastic the entire race.
And what do you know?
We nearly got a victory.
And quite frankly, if it wasn't for Chase Elliott, you know, making too early of a move,
I believe Dale Jr. is celebrating in Victory Lane.
I'm not blaming Chase.
Chase is doing exactly what he needs to do.
He's young. He'll figure it out. But after last week's absolute abysmal performance,
I am completely satisfied and happy that we have got it going in the right direction.
And I'd like to think it's all because of my phone call and suggestions to keep the goddust splitter off the ground.
See what happens when you keep the splitter off the ground? You're welcome, Greg Ives.
Dale yeah, and let's go get a victory at Michigan.
Woo!
Hey guys, this is Justin Salter.
Call him again.
Give him a minute.
He speaks for the computer.
Here's Justin.
Great job today, Jr. Bug.
I know you want to win today's race, but that's all right.
Please put one of your gold lucky points of me in your race car Sunday.
In Kentucky, on July 9, my name, Justin Salter, will be on the hood of your nationwide.
Children's Hospital race, Carr, burn some rubber.
Dale, yeah.
Thank you.
Bye.
Atlanta, Daytona, baby, why don't we go to Sonoma, Eldora?
Come on, pretty mama, to New Hampshire, Miami, baby, why don't we go down the polka,
know?
We'll get there fast, and then we'll take it slow.
Let's go.
where Julia's going to finish second and it's going to rain.
Six beersale, yeah.
That's Reaction Theater without any interruption from Mike Davis or Taylor-Zarser.
Reaction theater is always open.
The number is 855740-1902.
All you have to do is leave your voicemail message,
and First Name Davis will play the best, according to First Name Davis,
every single week on the Dale Jr. download.
855 740 1902.
Everybody might be fighting for second place
because of what submarine Mike and his wife, Cheryl, of course, brought us last week,
aka Teal Jaguar.
Oh, is that her Twitter handle?
That's her Twitter handle.
Oh, so she's on Twitter.
All right.
Teal Jaguar.
Because they used to live in Jacksonville, or they live in Jacksonville.
I think they still live in Jacksonville.
Is that right?
Or that's where their location is on the reaction theater, colon.
Well, that probably suggests that they do live there then.
Yeah.
Well, it could be a cell phone.
I don't know if they're traveling to Jacksonville just to call in the reaction theater.
I don't want them to know where we really live.
So we will go to Jacksonville.
Yeah, that sounds ridiculous.
Be happy with the all-new spy Dale Jr. paint scheme sunglasses.
It's called the livery series.
They're available in the popular dirty mode, General Daga McCoy and Admiral Frames.
The craziest paint scheme yet was released last week at the all-new limited edition spy Rangler Dega
sucking glasses online at spyoptic.com.
It's time now for White Flag.
All right, so we got one less day to get all the work in.
Let me back up.
Dale Jr.'s got one less day to get all of his work in this week.
So here's what's going on.
Tomorrow morning, actually it's this morning as you listen to this.
Junior starts off with the production for his new special edition Chevy truck.
Have you guys seen this truck?
I know you have first name.
Yeah.
Taylor, have you seen this new Dale Jr. special edition truck?
I don't think I have.
Dude, it is straight porn, man.
It's good.
Wow.
I meant that's my way of saying it.
It looks good.
Oh, man.
All right.
Sunday school teacher, Mike Davis here with you, ladies and gentlemen.
Last Thursday, Hendrick Motorsports unveiled the Dell Jr.
No. 88 special edition Silverado.
It's available in 1,500 crew cab shortbed model.
See, I am a 1,500 crew cab guy.
That's what I drive.
This truck is a beauty.
It features premium GM accessories, including.
a signature sports bar sport bar not sports bar what in the world you can just go up roll up and drink
on it right with LED off road lights nudge bar custom off road step bar a lot of bars on this truck

earnhart number 88 badge earnhart junior that's what you're going to it's what everybody's going to
say when you roll up in this truck is that what the horn says
Oh, how cool would that be, right?
If it just said, Dale, yeah!
You can see pictures of it on Dale Jr.com.
Contact your local Chevy dealer to see if it's available in your area.
It better be, right?
After all that, if it's not available in your area, that's a total bummer.
This just starts Dale Jr.'s Tuesday.
Later this afternoon, he's heading to Sawani, Georgia to appear at the local Walmart on behalf of Diet Mountain Dew.
I'm sure that'll be controlled.
Wait, wait, wait, read that sentence again, because that might be the greatest sentence you've ever read in White Flagg history.
This just starts Dale Jr.'s Tuesday because later this afternoon,
he's heading to Sawani, Georgia to appear at the local Walmart on behalf of Diet Mountain Dew.
That is so fantastic.
Sawani Georgia Walmart.
What could possibly happen there, right?
Dale Jr.'s going to the Sawani, Georgia Walmart.
Is that old Mike Davis?
That sounds like a country song right there, does it?
That sounds like a Jeff Foxworthy bit is what it sounds like.
That's true.
And if he rolled up in his Dale Jr. special edition,
Silverado.
With all those bars.
With all those bars.
And the noise maker too.
Yeah.
Junior.
That's right, man.
I'm telling you.
All right.
So that's what's...
Over under.
Over under.
You know, I don't know.
I don't know if they're going to cap it.
Like, if he does like one of those...
If it was not capped,
I don't know.
How many people are in Swanee, Georgia?
I would set the over under it 500,000 people.
It'd be like Woodstock that for Swanee.
Just from Swani.
One of the greatest moments in southern history.
Hold up.
Dale stock.
All right, we're losing it here.
Oh, I love it.
On Thursday, he's doing production work for True Timber Cammo.
This is like the ultimate Redneck Fantasy White Flag right here.
You went from trucks to Walmart to True Timber Camo.
You hunters out there need to know what Camo is the best.
Okay, you hear me?
It's True Timber.
Now, I want you to pay attention here because True Timber is already the camo sold in Bass Pro Shops.
It's about to take over the world.
You just get you some true timber camo, roll up in the Dale Junior truck, and then go to Walmart.
You with me on that, Taylor?
I'm with you totally on that.
I was just digesting it.
I was just digesting it.
Yes, I love it.
True timber and Walmart, Swanee, Georgia.
And diet, do, and goodies.
I mean, we're going to get everything packed into this thing.
All right.
Congratulations to Josh Barry for winning at Hickory Saturday night.
It actually was a really good night for Junior Motors.
Barry won.
Christian Eckers finished second.
Also, Carson Ellage made her limited late model stock debut just before that.
She finished 15th, but that doesn't matter.
It's a 15-year-old girl out there wheeling it for junior motorsports is what matters.
Am I right?
And Kelly Earnhardt was the analyst.
Not kidding.
I'm kidding.
You joke, but Kelly was periscoping the whole thing, so you could actually watch it.
Brad Keselowski does not approve.
Right.
When your mother is periscoping.
But it was kind of cool because I think I saw this.
I could be wrong, but I think I did see this, where now Kelly and Carson's,
become the first mother-daughter duo to race at Hickory.
Ever, ever.
And Hickory has a long tradition.
I mean, Hickory's been out of there for a million years.
So that was cool.
And Carson's going to be doing well.
And she's also a host of Motor Mouth right here on Dirty Mowardio,
24-7, free of charge.
All right, moving on here.
NASCAR heads to Michigan this weekend.
The Xfinity Series race is Saturday on FS1.
Justin Al-Gyre, Elliot Sadler, and Alex Bowman are entered for Team Jr.
On Sunday, the Firekeepers Casino 400.
That race is also on FS1.
Junior will be driving the exalted colors again.
And as we said a little while ago,
Dale Jr. will be commentating on Saturday for the Xfinity Series race.
That's very cool.
No, I'm saying, your youngest daughter's got to be near a birthday.
Getting there.
That's right.
I will never forget that because she came into this world celebrating a junior victory.
That's right.
Ed Michigan.
Four years ago.
She's got to be four.
I'll know this forever.
She is.
It's kind of ridiculous.
That's how I know this.
And she does accept birthday presents.
Yeah.
You had a very funny tweet.
You had a very funny tweet.
Yeah.
And I'm sure her parents will steal them.
You had a very funny tweet from four years ago when you said,
my daughter lives in a world that doesn't understand, that doesn't know what it's like when Junior doesn't win.
That's right.
I forgot about that.
That's right.
It lasted for a week.
Well, listen.
So Junior is going to commentate on Saturday.
And if he has any brains about him, he will live.
Listen, for a little pointer to my man Taylor Zarser, who called a game-winning walk-off home run.
Let's play it here, Davis.
The air to deep left field.
Cody goes back.
It is gone.
East Carolina.
A walk-off win on the home run by Travis Watkins.
Pirates score five runs in the bottom of the ninth inning.
Travis Watkins hits a two-three run home run.
Whoops.
That was part of the, was that the first game of the NCAA
tournament?
That was game number four.
Oh, game four.
But you were calling it for ESPN,
and that clip started making its rounds,
and Davis and I were like,
that's our boy right there.
Taylor Zarser, what a game for you to cover right there.
That was fun.
That was fun.
A lot of pirates were asking me to say,
arg on the radio,
and I did yesterday after they won the regional,
East Carolina, congratulations to him.
Knocking out, as you heard there,
the defending national champion Virginia Cavaliers.
William and Mary also beat Virginia.
And East Carolina then beat William and Mary
to get to the super regionals of college baseball.
We have a lot of East Carolina fans
that are Dale Jr. fans that listen to the Dale Jr. download
presented by Spy.
So I certainly want to give them a shout out and yell ARG to them.
So wait, are you saying you said ARG on the,
on a broadcast?
Absolutely, I did.
Now, what would Brad Kislowski say about that?
He probably would have had a problem with it.
You know what I find funny, though, is Brad Kislowski is very supportive of Junior's recent success in Pocono.
In fact, he was tweeting you.
He's got that place rolling with a thumbs up after Junior's great finish in Pocono on Monday.
So he's a fan of the way Dale Jr.'s racing right now, even though he's all fired up about people in the booth.
Well, they're pals.
But let's get back to you real quick.
That was a phenomenal call.
I don't know how you do it, but you do it.
You amaze me, man.
That was a beautiful call with an exciting finish.
I didn't even realize they scored five runs in that last ending to win.
But, man, kudos to you.
That was well done.
You're a good friend.
I appreciate you.
It was fun to do that this weekend.
It was nice to you just put that up there on Twitter and looking forward to doing more of that in the future.
It should be fun.
But, man, let's go to Michigan and keep this momentum going.
Let's do it.
You know?
And stop making those sounds.
Right.
Different sounds.
And not even, if he wins, do we go arg?
I mean, is that what we do now?
Well, maybe.
Okay.
Maybe.
If he wins, I'll do a lot.
I'll do anything.
All right.
