Starting point is 00:00:01 This is Dale Jr., and you're listening to Dirty Moe Radio. The worst part about it really is you go home and you'll spend months thinking about what you could have done to not be second. That's the worst part about it. The Dell Jr. download starts now. We were kind of forming our run in around the middle of one and two, and I think we had a really good head of steam coming off in turn two, and they got together behind us and that was that. I was going to try something out of the back straight away, but we just never got the chance.
Starting point is 00:00:31 We finished second to a pretty good race car driver, but we're real pleased with our car did today, that Mountain Dew, Xbox 1. Chevrolet was real competitive all day. Ran up front, could pass, had fun trying to take the lead and leading some laps, and definitely felt like we improved on what we were doing here in the past, so excited about coming back. We hear about it on Dirty Row Radio every Monday on the reaction theater about how disappointed they are that we haven't won yet.
Starting point is 00:00:55 But we're getting close, man, I'm going to tell you, looking at our run since Chicago, we've been, this is the best, my car's been all year. I think we're right around the corner from winning one of these races, and we're just going to keep trying. Well, I am Taylor Zarser. I've got Dustin Lee here with me. We have some phone calls we'll get to from Junior Nation who are very fired up after hearing that audio, seeing the end of the race.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Reaction Theater is insane this week. Mike Davis has left. Mike Davis, after that kind of race, hasn't shown up. He's on vacation this week. So he's left me here. But I had to call T.J. Majors to start the Dale Jr. download off. First and foremost, man, one of the guys that we're going to talk to that I'm going to call one of the fans today, TJ, is this Tim Brock 88 guy. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:01:43 And I'm going to say, listen, there's no way you can give TJ any crap this week because you called one hell of a race yesterday. Man, I have to imagine you're exhausted after spotting in Talladega. Yeah, I know it doesn't seem like you should be tired of the spotter. But, man, when you stare at cars for that long and you feel like you give so much information, 10 in a row and you don't realize how much you really talked all day. I mean, it ends up being quite a bit. When you're just running around in Talladega and you don't have a chance to win, sort of like juniors had there recently, or you're up at the front and you feel like you have
Starting point is 00:02:22 the best car, he's telling you the last couple laps several times. I've got a plan. I've got a plan. He feels like he's right there in position to go around the one and go for the win. Is that harder to swallow than, say, the last few where you're. you finished 12th, 13th, 14th, what have you? You know, I don't know. I think I never really, you kind of feel like you got a shot at most of them
Starting point is 00:02:48 because anything can happen. You know, if you're in the top 15, you never really know what's going to happen. There could be a huge wreck. But, yeah, you know what? It might be a little harder to. What could have played out for us? You know, we were in the right spot. We had no threat from behind.
Starting point is 00:03:05 I don't feel like we had help in our mirror. We had everything lined up perfect to win the run. race. And, you know, he had been timing his runs great all day. He could basically, from what I could tell, I mean, he could pull down and pass and get back up front of cars. And to me, you know, McMurray, the one car was a sitting duck out there. And Austin was driving a great race. And, you know, I know him and junior friends. And I know he was going to be in our bumper, whether it came down to us in the dog leg on the front stretch the last lap, you know, but I know we could have, I know we were sitting pretty good about getting around that one car, though. I mean, I felt like it was
Starting point is 00:03:40 our race to lose. Not only did you feel that, did you also feel TJ after watching that whole thing spotting that entire time feeling that the 88 had the best car all day? You know, I feel like our car was definitely a top five car and junior is making it known. You know, that's probably the most aggressive I've seen him, you know, and most, you know, he wanted to win and he's showing it. You know, if, you know, our teammate gets a good run, passes us. He doesn't just sit in in line, he's got to run. He goes back and takes the lead, and, you know, it shows that he wants to win. You know, he's not content with riding around, even if it's a teammate. You know, he wants to win that race, and he was doing a couple times we got shuffled back. Man, we worked a way right back
Starting point is 00:04:23 up through there, and, you know, it's good to see that, that drive and determination that he was showing, and I definitely feel like, I definitely feel like Stevie and them build an awesome car. You know, he could do what he wanted with it, and it was fun to watch from my view. You know, a lot of people are going to complain no matter what happens at a restrictor plate race. They're going to say that, well, we need this or we don't need that, et cetera. And personally, I couldn't stand the two-car tango. Yeah, me neither. What Junior did pushing Jimmy around the track a few years ago was phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:04:55 But I didn't like that. I thought that was so gimmicky. Yeah, I haven't been a fan of that at all. There's too much to that. You can't win without. It basically cuts a race in half. It's not a 43-car race. You know, it's basically one, two cars are one car.
Starting point is 00:05:09 You know what I mean? You can't win without somebody pushing you. Well, and not just that, T.J., but also when they're three and four wide, you can obviously, you can lay in the weeds all day long and then two laps, three laps to go, or, you know, I guess maybe five laps to go. You can come all the way from the back and have a shot. To me, yesterday was all about rewarding the entire race. You had to put yourself in position to have a chance to win.
Starting point is 00:05:35 with really more than 30 laps to go. And to me, that said you had to drive a great entire race. So I enjoyed what we saw yesterday about as much as I can remember at Talladega. That was one of my favorite races. Guys could pass. Guys could work together. They could push. They couldn't stay hooked up for long.
Starting point is 00:05:52 We could go three wide. There was three lanes. It just matter what lane had the better help and what guys working better together. Sometimes the bottom lane would move. And then the middle would always be good. And then the top would get rolling if they got it and panful of guys working good in it. you know, and that's encouraging, you know, to have that package work like that there. And, you know, you could see some guys.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Like, I watched Harvick all day just because I was waiting for see when he made his move. You got you had Jeff and the 24 and the 29 were kind of laying back there in the beginning. And Jeff kind of, you know, just after halfway, Jeff decided it was time to go. And he got back up through there. And I watched Harvick lay back a little bit more. And he never really – he had one good run on the bottom. And it got blocked. And then, you know, that was all we saw from him, really.
Starting point is 00:06:34 and it was kind of like, you know, the guys that raced hard and raced all day up there were the guys that were a factor at the end. I mean, you had the 14 who raced hard all day, us. McMurray raced hard the second half of the race, but he got up there. He was able to get there, and then he was racing hard once he got there. There was a few times he made a handful of runs on the bottom and through the middle, but he could just never find the clearing to get all the way up front. And he finally pulled that outside lane up there, and I know, you know, you know, I don't know if you were listening to the whole thing,
Starting point is 00:07:06 but I was telling Jr., who was pulling up and blocking the outside lane, and finally when they didn't pull up and block them, I knew our lane was going to the front. And McMurray got out front, and finally pulled the outside lane, and, you know, our shot was looking really good. Yeah, I mean, you were adamant. No, I did.
Starting point is 00:07:24 I did hear it, and you were pretty emphatic about that lane, and you're absolutely right about it. T.J., why would you say that you guys have struggled there in recent years? years and what was the difference yesterday? Was it what you just have talked about with the kind of style of racing that really suits junior or is there some adjustment that was made? You know, I think with all the different, we've just had so many different rolls packages there and, you know, can you push, can you not push, etc? Just going out there and just having a draft, you know, and, you know,
Starting point is 00:07:52 you get a run, you push a guy, you let them go a little bit, you know, kind of like how it, how, and everybody had to push and you had to have a helper and, and I don't think that. And then finally now, we get back to something where, you know, everybody's got a, shot. I mean, we were almost, heck, we were almost all taking our kids to the Golden Crowder night for the 36 car. But, you know, I just think it's, I think it's a good, I mean, I saw, I saw Josh Wise running well there for a while. He was right up in there. And I think Cole went in that 30 car was up in there for a while, you know, and to throw them guys in there, and, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:31 they all drove great races, too, all those guys that, even the young guys, you know, like Cole and them, he drove a great race. You know, it was, I just like the rolls package, man. I just think it fits us better. It doesn't single any one car out. You know, everyone's kind of got a shot. It's so big where you get in trouble. You know, they're not so big where you're getting 20 car links out in front and the rest of the field is going to catch you and jam everybody up and have a wreck like that.
Starting point is 00:08:59 Everyone can kind of, you know, you can kind of, the plate guys that are good, usually come to the top there, you know, and that's kind of way how I see it work out. You got to feel good moving forward. I mean, I know you guys only have a few races life. Martinsville, Texas. Homestead and Phoenix, but with the way this team is running right now, you've got to feel like you guys really have a shot to win one of these. Yeah, it's been pretty awesome gaining this momentum here.
Starting point is 00:09:23 You know, I think our weak spot was the 14th in, you know, so far at Charlotte. But I just wish we could have come out of – wish we could go back to Chicago and come out of there with the top 10, man, would be probably within 20 points of the lead right now, and that's still within striking distance, you know. And, I mean, it's been pretty fun getting this momentum rolling and hopefully we can carry it out. you know, see what happens. You never know what can happen up there, but it's always good to end the year with a strong run,
Starting point is 00:09:50 and we definitely have some strong tracks coming up, too. And, you know, I think Junior's, he's motivated, man. You know, he wants to win. He's really starting to drive like it. You know, he's really, you know, not they didn't before, but he's really, um, he's not, you know, he's not just laying over, and he's showing them guys that he wants to win. You know, anybody who tries to rough him up a little bit,
Starting point is 00:10:08 he doesn't, he doesn't just lay over and say, here you go, you know, he gives it right back to him and shows that he wants to win. He does show that he wants to win out there on the track, but as we wrap up with you, I understand that his effort might need to be questioned playing you and Madden. Would you like to tell us why? Well, I guess this is always a good time to brag about it a little bit, but we've had our Madden League for six seasons now. And, you know, it's been pretty much me and Brad and Dale Jr. winning the Super Bowls. You know, I won the first Super Bowl, and then Dale Jr. won three in a row, and then Brad won one.
Starting point is 00:10:42 And now it was my turn to win one again. And, you know, it was a rough game for the skins in this Super Bowl. They weren't having a good go of it and pulled the plug right after halftime at a 24-to-7 game. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. They pulled the plug. Do you mean Dale Earnhardt Jr. pulled the plug? Yeah, he wasn't having a good game. And we haven't really had too much conversation about it yet.
Starting point is 00:11:07 Wow. I'm just let – you know, I know what was happening. So he knows too. but it's going to be it was it was nice clean in a spot on my man will offer them trophies he had made it was nice to bring that trophy back to my house man t j j j may dail jr tap out how about that man yeah we're we are going to sit down with junior here in the next few weeks so i might have to hear the other side of this but that yeah i would like to hear the other side of it as well because i really can you do it after homestead so i can have rides yeah okay all right maybe we'll wait till the season's over well Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Hey, congratulations on a good day yesterday. I know you guys wanted to be in Victory Lane, but you did everything you're supposed to do to try to make that happen. Great job by you. Go get them in Martinsville. Thanks, man. Reaction theater still to come, but it's time now to Speed Dial. Speed Dial.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Okay, we're going to do things a little differently here on Speed Dial today. We certainly still will have Reaction Theater, and that's coming up here in just a little bit, where we'll play all of your calls, and it's no holds barred, and my goodness did you have opinions on what happened yesterday in Talladega. But during Speed Dial, we're going to go to the phones. Just like you're listening to a sports talk show, it's time to go to the phones and see what Junior Nation has to say.
Starting point is 00:12:28 And if we're going to go to the phones, isn't it, aren't we contractually obligated on the Dale Jr. Download to start with Dan the junior fan? Go ahead. What you got, Dado? I mean, that's why Talladega is, I know everybody likes to date Talladega since I was a kid. is always, I'm on the edge of my seat. The race for the 88. I couldn't be more proud of how these guys, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:03 they ran their own race. And typically, you know, last several years, we go to Caledega, everybody's worried about, you know, we had to tandem drafting, you know, who's going to push, who's going to lead, you know, what spotters can do that, you know, are we going to hang back with a good on front. I love that the 88 team said, you know what, we're going to the front.
Starting point is 00:13:23 We're going to stay up front. We're going to lead some laps. And at the end, we want to be in a position to where we can make a move and get to win. And by God, everything was going fantastic as we drew it up on the wall. I mean, where's the best place you want to be, first or second? Hey, second's not too bad coming into the last lap at Talladega. Am I right? I mean, we've seen some serious action right there behind two rookies.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Instead of being patient, like Dale Jr. was. You know, they just pulled. I mean, I don't blame them. I mean, I'd love to beat. My immediate reaction was to be. pissed. But, you know, you got two rookies back there, man. They're trying to make a name for himself. They don't, you know, they're just, they're not the old bull like Dale Jr. They're a bunch of young bulls down there to do. But I, at the same time, I wanted to jump off a bridge and kill myself
Starting point is 00:14:18 coming in second. When we were setting him up, man, he had stayed back. He was ready to get a run on him. And I was like, I mean, I knew it was serious because my dogs left the room. My wife and my daughter went to bedroom and shut the door because I was going nuts. I knew this. this was going to be the one. Just a little bit short, man. Yeah, you're right. I mean, you feel like, man, he had the best car on the track. In the same respect, you're so frustrated because they didn't get to go to the end.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Let me ask you one thing before he let you go. Do you blame the 13 at all for what happened? No, I was going to be mad at anything. Let me tell you what I'd be mad at. When you look who's getting ready to go, Dale Jr., you know, Kenny Francis, our own damn teammate, was talking to Casey Kane about, hey, be careful here. The 88 Valerie said the same thing to the clip border.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Everybody always thinks Junior gets all these breaks from NASCAR. Well, yesterday was proof that if anything, they try to hurt the damn 88 because here we got. We got two cars that crashed, albeit one was in the air. I'm just tracking the circle. And the tiny little, if I'm pissed about anything, if cars involved, they stop the damn race. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:13 When it's a new teammate, but two of the teammates, definitely not going to do. junior's favor with that caution. Okay, next we're going to a man that's become world famous on reaction theater. He's called out T.J. majors all year when he didn't think he did a good job spotting, which has made me laugh pretty hard. He is Tim Brock 88. Now, Tim, you got to give him a man, T.J. some credit yesterday. I thought he spotted his behind off. Yeah, he did a really good job right up until the end there. You know, Junior was driving
Starting point is 00:16:47 the damn wheels off that car, and he should have got up on the radio and said, Jr., is something. to go. We've got to go now. Now it's the time to win that damn race. Yeah, maybe he should have made the move a little earlier. But, Tim, if that thing stays green to the end, I think the 88's in Victory Lane. Yeah, either way, in my opinion. But, you know, junior, he drove wheels off that car. T.J. did a hell of a job spot. And, you know, all joking inside, the whole 88 team did a hell of a job yesterday. Now, tell me what it was like in your house. Those final few. laps up until the 14 being in the air. I want to know what you were saying, how crazy it was.
Starting point is 00:17:28 I was on the edge of my feet, man. I was strapped in with my Honda device on, visor down, rooting, biting my fingernails, pulling my hair out. Maybe a little cussing going on to, man. We were so close, man. So close. Do you feel like this team is going to win one of these last four races. Oh, definitely. If they keep doing what they're doing, they're in the catbird seat right now. They can win every week. You know, it's great to see Jr. up there being competitive every week. It's just a matter of time. If he keeps doing what he's doing, we're going to be there. And finally, Tim, is there anything that you think T.J. needs to do better in these last few weeks? No, actually, you know, ever since I got on T.J., I think he's a mascot pretty good there.
Starting point is 00:18:18 You know, Junior hasn't been yelling at him, so apparently he's doing something right. Which, you know, Junior, I know you're listening, man. Maybe, you know, get on a little bit, man. I got to call Reaction Theater. I'm running out of damn material here. Tim, we appreciate your support of Junior Nation and the Dale Jr. download. We better hear from you on Reaction Theater again. Oh, definitely we'll be calling.
Starting point is 00:18:41 Okay, and we're saving the best for last. We have one more call to get to, and she is West Coast Gal 88. That's her name on Twitter, and we've got West Coast Gal here on the Dale Jr. download now. Miss West Coast Gal, how are you? I'm fine, Taylor. I'm proud to be on the show today. Well, we're proud to have you, and I've mentioned you several times on this podcast that no matter where I am with my crazy life and all my work responsibilities, I can always count on West Coast Gal 88 on Twitter to give me a running log of not only everything that happens in the race,
Starting point is 00:19:17 but everything that Dale Jr., Steve LaTardt, and T.J. majors are saying to each other. So I'm very grateful for all that you do on Twitter. Well, thank you, Taylor. And I'm always hopeful that I get the chatter right or close to being right. You know, it's kind of a big responsibility. Well, I record what they say each week, and you do get it right because I go back and I'm able to find what they were saying thanks to your transcripts. But I have to ask you, how long have you been a big Dale Jr. fan and were you a fan of his dad before him?
Starting point is 00:19:53 Well, I have to say my high school boyfriend took me to Riverside, and I sort of got into NASCAR then. I wasn't an every week type of fan watching or listening, and I really wasn't a big Dale senior fan. I didn't have anyone in particular that I followed, but in 2001 I became a Dale Jr. fan. And I think it's because how he handled himself that year after his dad passed away, and, you know, winning the Pepsi 400. And then in the Junior Motorsports, how he brought so many of the BEI personnel over to work for him, kind of really helping everyone out. And I just personally think he's just a great person, a great driver.
Starting point is 00:20:50 And I really enjoy following him. Well, I can tell you, you're right. And just being around his organization, that is definitely the kind of person he is. He's a very, very good man. Let me ask you what your emotions were like yesterday, because I feel like all of Junior Nation was so excited. so proud of the way he ran that race, but also devastated by the finish. Is that about how you felt?
Starting point is 00:21:17 First of all, I was so proud and so happy to see that car running as it did, like his cars used to run. He was able to make moves. He would drop a little bit to the back when people would hang him out because they won't go with him. And he made himself go back to the front. I mean, I saw him go back to the front. between Casey Mears and the wall.
Starting point is 00:21:43 There was just enough room to get through there. And then he went back through the middle and back up to the front. And that's exciting. You know, it's exciting to see your driver be able to do that and his car be able to do that. So at the end, at the end, when that caution came out, I went, oh, no. Maybe some stronger words than that. Well, I said damn it on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Well, and you can say it on here, too, but... Yeah. Well, maybe it's a sign of good things to come. But West Coast Gal 88, more than anything, we wanted to thank you for being such a great member of Junior Nation. We hope to see you out there on the road at ERAA sometime. And more than anything, we hope that people follow you on Twitter, West Coast Gal 88. Thank you, Taylor. Every time you say that, I get like 400 new followers.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Really good stuff. I enjoyed that. I hope we're able to do something like that again. I love interacting with Junior Nation, and those are three huge contributors to Junior Nation. So maybe we'll have to do this again, Mike Davis. All right, even though I interacted with those three, that doesn't mean we're not going to play reaction theater. Holy cow, was it crazy? I'm not even going to interrupt this week.
Starting point is 00:23:05 I'm just going to let it ride. Let's go, Dustin. I have one question. Russia, you go faster. By the way, Twitter handle. Go, Junior 88. That's me. Adios.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Way to give it away now. They throw a caution. Let him run to the rate. Run back to the line. On the Martinville. It's downmate there. Gailia asked. My heart about fell out of my ass when he said his gauges were flashing.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I will tell you what. Get him next week. I'm glad Jr. made it through Talladega. I'm glad we got second. It was a good run. He was very competitive, so man, this one stings really bad. Oh, well, on to Martinville. Let's get that grandfather clock.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Dahlia. First of all, Mike Davis, he put the wrong number on Twitter. Thank you very much. I had to figure that one out my own. Second of all, very proud of junior today. Great, great cars. It's the first time and a long time that he's been that competitive at Talladega. Go get a grandfather clock.
Starting point is 00:24:52 I want a clock. I want a clock. I want a clock. You cannot wait until white flag to go for the leaf. This is Rick calling the New York City. I'm f-in' exhausted. Keep your head up. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Are you effing kidding me? A 2.66 mile track, a two-car crash, and they throw the yellow. When they normally let them race back to the checkers, more than that, keep it going. NASCAR, I am so pet. Hell yeah. Yeah, their junior did great today. Junior nation is not going to be living in a van down by the river No time soon.
Starting point is 00:25:39 It looks like Brian France and his little buddies are for throwing the caution on that last lab when they could have let them run to the finish. That's all right. Their new junior was going to win. If it had been Jimmy Johnson, they would have let it go to the finish. And I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:25:53 I know they're politic. But go, Jr. You're going to get you a win before their season's up. And boy, you're going to be having some championships coming. So good job. Woo-hoo! Let's go. I really thought Junior had the race.
Starting point is 00:26:05 winning move with Austin behind him. Sucks the caution came out, but Ward damn Eagle Jamie McMurray. She's blowing. Austin, the B. Jr. finished and if it wasn't for that idiot, Ricky Stenhouse don't know how to drive and reckon Austin Dillon, we'd have won
Starting point is 00:26:33 that damn race. Wow, this was the best race I've seen from Junebug, and he really took that Talladega and took it by the throat, and he got it. Where to go, Jill, Bill, Bud. Then the Auburn car wins at Talladega.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Jimmy Dusson takes the poor chicken dinner. I just read a tweet of Mike Davis's, and he said that he wanted it for nobody but Junior. And I agree. The guy's too good. He works too hard, and it's just a shame that this one got taken away from him. You know, congrats to McMurray, but damn, this was juniors. Why the F is junior a team player, and Jimmy never has to be?
Starting point is 00:27:33 I will be there at Martinsville, and I will be cheering that 88 car to Victory Lane. Go, Jr. Dale, yeah. Well, I hate to beat a dead horse. Guys, I'm telling you what, we're looking at some really good things for next year. I think Junior's going to be... Mike, let me be the first to tell you. You tweeted the wrong.
Starting point is 00:28:10 He's really messing with it. ...day at Talladegh, watching racing. If I've been as disappointed as I was today, but that doesn't take away the fact that Dale Jr. was the freaking man. It looked like Dale Jr. from 10 years ago at Talladega. He had a plan. He had Jamie. right where he wanted him.
Starting point is 00:28:34 There was nobody else going to win that race besides Dale Jr. It's time to get back just like Ricky Bobby. Come on, boy. We know you can do it. Good run today, guys. I mean, we almost had it. It was so close, so close. But I want to give a shout out to my man, TJ.
Starting point is 00:28:57 TJ, you called one hell of a race today. And I do think it's kind of controversial that old Mike ain't in today since the Auburn University to call one. Good run, guys. Good luck next weekend, Team 88. Let's get it. Man, I can't believe they threw that caution on the last lap. You know Junior was going to win that race, man.
Starting point is 00:29:26 He runs so good all day long, but I'm proud of him. He raced up front all day long. He was, but it's just messed up. That's wrong, right? Hey, this is the coach, Mike Dica. Hey, NASCAR, why didn't you let them race back to the line? Seriously? Come on, you guys pretty much rabbed Jr. of a race win. Oh, by the way, Junior, hope you're happy that your Redskins beat my best today. Congratulations on your good run.
Starting point is 00:30:00 So today I played this game called How Drunk Can I Get During the last 20 rap for Talladega? Pretty drunk. But anyways, heartbroken, barely described it. But Jr., if you could pull out a win in Texas, it would pretty much make my whole year. Love you. Delia. You can't wait. There's the last lap to pass Talladega. There's always going to be a wreck and there's always going to be a caution. You can't wait. He had the car to beat today and he sits there and run around. Dillon would have went with him with two to go just like he would have went with him with one to go. You should have made the move a lap earlier and you would have been spraying mountain two all over everybody. Oh, I'm just so disgusted.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Meanwhile, Jimmy Johnson got the point lead. It's over, guys. Martin Philly, he's really done one. He's probably already won Phoenix. It's over, guys. I'm done watching race. for the year. Goodbye. Well, shoot. If it wasn't for Danica's boy, toy, see, if that young man had just watched for another five seconds or three seconds, he'd seen a master
Starting point is 00:30:59 and how you do that patience game and when to make you move. Damn, gone, that thing was ours. Anyway, thank you, Stevie, Jr., you did awesome. Thank you, Rob Lopes, and every other one of y'all. Mike and whichever T. TJ, you were wonderful. And y'all, damn, gone, that one was ours.
Starting point is 00:31:17 I can still taste that thing. Congratulations. Y'all done good. Bye. Holy cow, that was fun going through all of that. Y'all are awesome. I mean, seriously, y'all are the best fan base of any driver,
Starting point is 00:31:31 any team there is in the world. It was a lot of fun going through those hundreds of Reaction Theater voicemails. Again, they are sponsored by Dale Jr. Foods.com. DaleJ.R. Foods.com. Go try those Dale Jr. Potato chips. There's four different flavors.

I don't know what I'm going to say, but throw it, Dustin. There you go, what he's what he's going to winnie white flag. Okay, here's what we know. Dale Earnhardt Jr. moved up three spots in the championship chase. He is now sixth in the standings.
Starting point is 00:32:38 He's 52 points behind his buddy Jimmy Johnson, who has the lead. And, of course, there are four races remaining. He is at the paper clip this weekend, a dog and a do, and how about a grandfather clock for the first time? He's run great there in recent years. Before he goes to the paper clip, he tested in Texas early this week, and we'll see how that benefits him next weekend in Texas. I will be at that race.
Starting point is 00:33:02 Much more on that coming up next weekend. Each and my boys are off again until the Texas weekend. Regan Smith is third in the points for junior motorsports. He is 52 back of the lead. So this weekend, it's the paper clip. It is the goodies headache relief shot 500 there in Martinsville. And the World Series starts on Wednesday between the Red Sox and Cardinals. Why am I telling you this?
Starting point is 00:33:25 Because on Sunday, a rabid member of Junior Nation, my great friend Jake Peavy is pitching. That's on Sunday night. So watching Martinsville on Sunday. And then Sunday night, Peavy, a huge supporter of Dale Earnard Jr., pitches against the Cardinals. For Dustin Lee, for T.J. Majors, for. all the reaction theater calls. For all the callers out there, I'm Taylor Zarser. You've been listening to the Dale Jr. download. Thanks for listening to Dirty Mo Radio. Have you tried the new Dale Jr. Potato Chips?
