This is Dale Jr.
And you're listening to Dirty Moe Radio.
Well, I was watching it with your girlfriend.
Man, that was finally dead.
Now it's back.
Yeah.
I mean, we've got to, you know, we got to recap.
It was the favorite moment.
What can I say?
Welcome, everybody to the Dale Jr.
Download presented by Spy.
I'm Mike Davis.
Taylor Zarser's with this.
The short fellow in the room is Mike Hoag.
Amanda Troutman is here as always.
Listen, before we get going today, we've got some exciting news.
So I want you to pay attention.
Our friends at Spy are giving you a chance to meet Dale Jr.
with a win-a-spin-spin-sweepstakes.
That's called Win a Spin Sweepstakes.
This is new.
We're just announcing it today here on this,
and it's going to run for about a month or two, Amanda.
Not only will you get to meet Dale,
but you will get to take a ride with him at Charlotte Motor Speedway three laps with Junior driving you.
I mean, I've taken this ride before.
It's incredible.
It's three laps of terror, but excitement,
and you don't know how they go.
600 miles after the three laps of Junior because he will push it to the edge.
Anyways, the Grand Prize also includes airfare accommodations,
tickets to the nationwide series race on October 10th,
and a pair of spy sunglasses for you and a guest.
So here's how you enter.
Go to spyoptic.com slash Dell Jr.
That's spyoptic.com slash Dell Jr.
Click the banner for details.
Here's the important part.
You will need the contest code, Dirty Mo Radio, all one word.
Dirty Mo Radio to end.
enter. There's more. Spies continuing their 20% off discount on any pair of signature 88
sunglasses. You got to enter the discount code. Dirty Moe radio. I'm hoping you're hearing
me, folks, because that's new. That's changed. But the discount code now for 20% off is Dirty Moe
Radio. And you can also go enter that sweepstakes, the win-of-spin sweepstakes. A lot of good stuff by
Spive. All right, Taylor, I know we don't have a race today to download, but I am pumped about
today's podcast. This podcast
is the Cal Ripkin of podcasts
because when everyone
else takes a breather, we might
need a break, like all the drivers,
we don't take one.
We don't take one. Last year,
we did 40 podcasts. If it was an
all-star race, if it was a shootout, if it was
a buy week, no problem.
We were still here, and guess what?
Same sort of deal again this year.
But we might be
playing the best of some of our favorite
things that have happened so far this season.
But we're still here to do a podcast, Mike Davis.
That's right.
I mean, and we got favorite moments.
Everybody's got favorite moments.
It's kind of stick out.
And so what better time to do that than during an off weekend.
It's the final off weekend of the season.
So we're going to sort of go through that.
And I'm interested to hear some of your favorite moments are.
You and I actually, we have not discussed this.
And Hogue is in here.
And who knows what he's going to say.
So let's just see what comes out of this.
Amanda, we apologize in advance.
Oh, boy.
For what may come up.
Yep.
And Hogue, I'm glad he's here because certainly one of the things that has materialized this year is Hogue becoming a rock star.
Come on.
And in part, he's become a rock star on this very podcast.
You know, it started when Junior started asking him how Hogue felt about Junior winning the Daytona 500.
And it's kind of gone on from there.
The guy's orange shirt now has become very popular.
He's signing autographs.
at Junior Motorsports fan appreciation day.
He had like his own lane.
I mean, you know, that's certainly one of the things that's happened during the first half of the season.
And he's got a new nickname.
What?
T-Rex?
Oh, come on, man.
I always my arms.
I will argue this forever.
Our normal.
They're not short.
Have you noticed that everything that Taylor just mentioned, all of that was sort of initiated by Dale Jr.
Yep.
I mean, like everything kind of started there.
Yeah, he did.
That's right.
relationship.
Well, so you're saying that's some of your favorite moments, Taylor.
Absolutely.
Is the Hogue stuff?
How about you?
I've got several.
I don't think Hogue actually made my list.
You're just, you're a favorite in my heart, Hogue.
It's because we see each other a lot.
That's right.
I've got seven.
Should I go backwards or four?
Let me just tell you my number one favorite moment.
Let's just do this the right way.
My number one favorite moment goes right to the beginning of the season, and it is T.J.
Major's final lap call of the day turn of 500, and we played it.
on, I guess that would have been our second episode of the season.
Yes.
Our first one would have been the shootout or whatever they call it these days, the Unlimited.
But TJ's final lap called the Daytona 500, we played it here on the podcast,
and then Dale Jr's reaction to it when he crossed the finish line, I get chills thinking about it.
I forget even hearing it.
Just thinking about it gives me chills.
Well, let's play it.
Let's what I'm going to say.
Here we go.
White flag right there, white flag.
The planes have the run.
One back.
Watch that two. He's a one on the outside. He's one back.
Both lanes have runs here. The two slow in the 11 down real good.
Both lanes have helped. Both lanes have help. Both lanes have help.
The 11 and two are going to slowly throw down with the two back from you, two back from you, two back from you, two back from the two back from the two back on the 11, two slow in the 11 down.
The two slow on the bottom. The 11's closer. The 11's closer. The two is slowing about all the help's on the bottom, bud. All the help is on the bottom. Help is on the bottom.
The 11 is not clear. The 11 is not clear. The 11 is not clear. It's a big wreck in your mirror. The 11 is not clear.
Keep coming, bud.
You're going to do it.
You're going to win it.
Right with you.
You're clear.
Check her flag.
You win.
Oh, yeah.
I love you, man.
I love you.
Thank you.
Yeah, man, we want it.
I can't believe it.
I cannot believe it.
Unbelievable.
Actually, now that I hear it, it didn't give me the same chills that I remembered
it.
I'm kidding, Amanda.
You're the one that produced the piece, not me.
Yeah, you're right.
It's hard to top that, guys.
I mean, a lot of unbelievable things have happened since then.
I don't think there's any question that the 88 team, they're a championship contenders.
They have a chance to win every single week and won at Pocono and have had plenty of top fives and top tens this year.
But Mike, boys, that's got to be number one.
That's the top moment of the year.
Top moment of the year, I think that was the A game that T.J.
That was the A game that T.J. Majors brings on a Super Speedway track.
even Rick Hendrick even commented to me several weeks later about how awesome that call from
TJ was to keep those guys behind them.
You know, where the run was coming on the backstretch there.
And then Jr. just being elated after it.
I mean, how can you beat it?
How can you beat it?
Totally.
The emotion of that moment just poured out.
And I think that, you know, we made a J-R-360 on it the very next week because of just, you know,
taking fan videos and compiling them.
Also, you throw in Regan Smith's victory in the nationwide series race.
It's just everything kind of poured out into that one moment.
That is definitely my favorite.
That's awesome.
Hogue, outside of the birth of your child, I mean, that's got to be one of the most special moments of your life, right?
Oh, I agree.
I don't think you realize really in that moment what happened, especially even the week that follows.
Even now, it's something that you look back on.
And Mike can relate to this.
You're not going to realize how much it means until later down the road.
But that whole week that followed was one of the, I will never forget that week from, you know, all the places we went, things we did, whether it was if we were working or we having fun, I think everything after that moment was even just as special.
Well, and especially when Dale Jr., you guys went on that media tour, and he sits down there and records the little message that he sends us here on the podcast, and he says, Hoga, what did you think of the race?
Now, see, now that was awesome.
When he asked you how you felt about the race, and of course, your response was, well, I was watching it with your girlfriend.
Man, that was finally dead, and now it's back again.
I mean, we've got to, you know, we've got to recap.
It was the favorite moment.
What can I say?
No, I mean, that whole, I completely agree, the 500 win was by far the best moment of the year.
I thought, Mike, you'd have the Pocono win.
That was your first win in victory or victory lane trip in a while, wouldn't it?
It was, but at least number two on your list.
Yeah.
it's not. Pocono did not make my, you know, favorite podcast moments of the year,
the favorite Dale Jr. Download moments of the year. But I will say this, Taylor, and I think
you'll agree with me, you bring up the fact that, you know, Junior was recording that audio.
Junior recording audio, period, whether it was at the bar at Daytona or I'm sorry, in New York or
wherever you guys were in Bristol, Connecticut, when that moment, when you were talking about
Junior's girlfriend, whether it was then or whether it was any of those other weeks that Junior
has taken the task of providing us exclusive audio about his feelings after he's got back
from the racetrack he's sitting there whether it's having a cold beer whether it's you know
waking up in the morning like this past week giving us that raw feedback uh is just been
how can you put a value on it it's priceless it really is and you guys will appreciate this so
before driver introductions in Texas,
I'm standing back there with all the drivers,
and Junior says,
hey, man, how do you feel about my participation this year with the podcast?
And I said, I mean, I turned into Marty Smith.
I got so passionate and fired up.
I said, are you kidding me?
I was like, the recording's the greatest thing that's ever happened to the podcast.
That is so invaluable.
I can't tell you how much we appreciate that.
And I really believe that.
It is the best thing that's happened to this podcast.
And I said, listen, come in whenever you want.
to come in, but the fact that you do that message to me is the best thing that we could ever
have on this podcast. Yeah, and the chorus of farm animals in the background is just a bonus.
That's right. Now, that had to make your list. It did. The donkey yelping. We ought to play that,
Amanda. What do you think? Okay. Let me find it here. We'd seen a couple cars blow up to 41 to 10,
breaking engines, not knowing why, obviously being inside the car. But I was aware of that,
and I'm just kind of sitting there, you know, watching that water pressure.
And, damn, I don't know if y'all hear that, but the donkeys going crazy.
Yeah.
Y'all hear a different animal every week.
Anyways.
Anything you want to add to that there, Hogue?
Okay, so I've got more, a couple more favorite moments.
You all ready for this?
Yeah.
La Tart dropping the car on the block at Fontaine.
and all of it came on with that.
Even Quasi Dato's reaction theater call afterwards,
he's like, that's the most redneck thing I've ever heard,
and I love it because that's what I would do if I was the crew chief.
I dropped the car on a block to fix it.
I agree with it on that one.
That was a good one.
That was really cool.
That was really good.
I like when TJ, was it in Martinsville?
Had to take a bathroom break and kept spotting.
Kept spotting during the bathroom break?
Yes, that is great.
Couldn't see the track.
Could not see the track and was still spotting.
Now, was that on reaction theater calls?
It was.
Where did we disguise?
I can't find.
I think T.J. was in.
Was T.J. with us?
I think he came in maybe and talked about that.
Yeah, I was digging through all the Martinsville stuff, and I can't, there was one caller,
and I can't remember who it was that was railing T.J.
But I didn't put it in our list that we're going to listen to here.
Boy, it is hard to impress Amanda.
I'm telling you.
Raylan TJ
Listen, last year, Taylor,
rail and TJ about going to the bathroom
during a race would have
Like, we would have played that 10 times on one episode
We've had so many good calls this year
So it was tough to pick them out
Any clips bashing TJ will top the list
And on my list anyways
Yeah, and now there's another one
And we've seen this on different platforms
But the Hogue versus TJ battle
Was one that was rather funny as well
Just disappointing
It didn't make my list
I must have forgotten with that one.
Yeah, I guarantee you it didn't make your list.
Yeah, well, and you know what, but this is the best of.
And you used to be in the newspaper business, Mike.
I mean, Amanda's a good editor, you know.
She has to decide what ultimately makes it.
But those were definitely some funny ones.
My Twitter in Kentucky a few weeks ago regarding Hogue's orange shirt was one of my favorites.
Yeah.
I mean, it was crazy.
Hogue is standing like right there as the crew is trying to change four tires
and you just this scorching hot orange shirt on
and I took a picture of it and it went viral.
It was crazy.
Well, I mean, when Steve Lattart says to Dale Jr.
on his warm-up laps as he's about to prepare for this race
and they're talking about a Hogue's shirt, you know you've made your mark for that night.
And you know I have that clip loaded too, right?
Let's hear it.
We're pitting right here.
If you have a hard time to see the sign, we'll put Hogue on the wall.
It'd be like follow the...
Oh, man.
That's a good one, Taylor.
I've got one for you, and it involves you.
All right.
How about this, Hogue and Amanda?
How about Taylor saying Dale Yell on the P.A.
Oh, yes.
Motor Speedway.
Number four on my list.
Yep.
Number four on Hogue's list.
It started as a dare, I guess, or a bet.
on the previous podcast the week before that,
and Taylor was talking about how he was going to be doing some public address duties
at Charlotte Motor Speedway the upcoming week.
And I said, you won't say, Dale, yeah, in the microphone,
I bet you're not man enough to do it.
And not only did he do it once, he did it twice.
I did it once, and I guess it was on the Friday night,
and then again on the Saturday night.
And basically what I said was, you know,
if you want to see Tony Stewart win this right,
or let me know if you want to see Tony Stewart in Victory Lane again.
How about Jimmy Johnson winning another All-Star race?
How about Jeff Gordon winning another All-Star race?
Who out here wants to see Kyle Bush win the All-Star race?
That one didn't go over so well.
And then I said, if anybody out there wants to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. win this race, give me a Dale, yeah.
And then I said, I said, if anybody out there wants to see Dale and R.
Jr. win this race, give me a Dale, yeah.
And it was pretty loud.
It was pretty crazy, the response.
we got that night.
And I had to do it, man.
I mean, this is, this is, you know, I've been on this podcast since the beginning.
So I'm, I'm certainly a member of Junior Nation, so I had to, I had to do it.
But I have to give you credit for all the Dale, yes stuff, Mike Davis.
I mean, it's exploded.
Hey, before we get into reaction theater, Mike Davis, how about some interviews that we've
had on this year?
Anyone in particular you've enjoyed?
Oh, wow.
That's a good question.
Listen, the Barney Hall interview just a few weeks ago, I mean, that was just a special
moment for me. I know it was for you
and I don't
know how you could top it. I mean, we've had
some, I'm terrible at
interviewing people. I got to get better. You've got
to teach me how to do that, Taylor. But I'll
say, so as far as the quality of the
interviews go, if I'm involved,
it's not a great interview, but I do
enjoy it and Barney Hall was certainly
one of those ones that I'll always remember.
Oh, well, I beg to
differ. I thought the one that you did with Joe Slingerland
was really good. I agree.
That was a good. I thought that was one.
I thought that was one of the best we've had this year, and that was a few weeks ago on the podcast.
And so I thought you did an outstanding job with that.
And Dustin Long, poor Dustin Long.
Oh, that's right.
Yeah.
You know, that was really funny, I guess, in a way, and he took it really well.
But that he got injured interviewing Dale Jr. this year.
Yeah, I bet that wasn't his top moment of the year.
No.
No.
But we've had some really good ones here on the podcast this year, and I've had a lot of fun so far.
and you can bet we will do that in the second half of the season as well.
Real quick, guys, before we get into reaction theater,
let's remind everybody once again,

Now this is going to be fun.
This isn't reaction theater. This is the very
best of reaction theater
in 2014 as
selected by Ms. Amanda Troutman.
God, I feel pressure. It's going to be a tough job.
Yeah, let's see what she has.
What another shrimp on the bobby?
Son of a B.
Well, I guess I'm going to go to Walmart, buy me a six pack of fosters,
cored out the damn parking lot.
Marcos, Australian for awful.
Hey, I'm glad our knocking Marcus Ambrose there didn't get physical,
because we know what kind of fighter he is now.
We didn't know then, but we know now.
Ambrose and Mears, where are we?
was that? That was a Saturday night race. Richmond? Yeah. But that clip was from...
This was from the Sprint Unlimited. They're going in order. Yeah, no, I got you. But, yeah, so in that
incident, did we get caught up in a wreck that Marcus started? Yeah, it was on the backstretch. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's right. That's right. But at the very beginning of the season,
yeah, the other Marcus, of course, later on the year with Casey Mears, but that's right, yes,
at the Sprin Limited right before the 500, the very first of the season.
Late the race.
Late the race.
How about that?
All right, that was funny stuff.
All right, what do we have next?
I just watch a race and junior one.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
I can't.
Oh, my God.
Hallelujah.
Praise and love for Jesus Christ.
Go Junior.
Go Junior.
Go Junior Nation.
Yeah.
Hell yeah.
How could you say it any better than that?
You can't.
As Mike's neighbor from Alabama.
Yeah.
What's the Alabama joke there?
I don't get it.
Explain yourself.
Me neither.
What was a big me?
Me neither, Hogue.
Goodness gracious.
I'm with you.
I'm with you.
Jump.
Virach.
That,
that he definitely summed up, I think, how most of us felt after that win.
All right, who's next?
You got to know when to hold them.
No when to hold them.
No when to walk away.
Never count you.
point when you're sitting on the pit box they'll be time to count the trophies when the season's done
i remember this do you remember why this is that the one of the first ones where we like totally
gambled at the end do you remember that and we were in yeah oh hokes you don't remember
it was Vegas yeah we were a diet ducan away from we totally gamble we finished second right
yeah yes we did so bk guys that's the best thing about that was man we won we can do what
whatever we want.
Right.
It was just like such a liberating feeling.
You know, we'd do it ever we want in this race.
And that definitely, that reaction theater caller summed up, I think, how we felt.
All right.
Who's next?
Mike, I'm going to start off by saying this.
Dickinson, Stevie, Juneberg, Team 88.
And you too, TJ, I forgive you for bringing that piece of junk to the party.
When you know we're on a champagne high, popping bottles, snatching trophies.
Focus, boys.
Focus.
Yeah, Bristol didn't go as well.
That's right, it didn't.
That was a good one.
And she's called back several times, and I mean, every time she calls, it's gold.
Yeah.
All right.
Now on to Martinsville, Virginia.
Evidently, yelling, Joe Jr.
Because I was asked to leave after I've done that when she passed, Lagano for third.
I thought you had a win, baby.
You know the wheels off his song.
What was the story there, Hogue?
What do you mean?
The guy was in.
I think he had a media credential somehow.
Okay.
It was in there.
Oh, the guy, yeah.
saying he got kicked out of the media center.
I'm like, how?
Yeah, he had a credential.
What is that?
Nate Ryan calling up reaction theater or something?
No, come on now, Mike.
That was Bob Pockris.
Yeah.
No, but that was very funny stuff in Martinsville.
All right, let's see what's next.
What kind of f***ing buzzkill?
Oh, my God.
Is Kurt Bush and Clint Boyer?
Really?
They have got to just quit their stupidity.
If Kurt Bush's brinkoeneers weren't
pin back out of half somebody boxing myself.
And that goddamn
Clint Boyer, I hope he steps in dog
shit somewhere and has to ride home in a damn
helicopter and can't get off his shoe. And everybody
knows what a piece of crap is.
Damn it. Bill 88, proud of
your second, but still pissed off about that
second. You know what? Oh, go ahead,
Taylor. Well, I was just going to say, you know what
is an example number 1,000
of why this is a championship
caliber team? They finished second
and almost one Darlington, guys.
Right. I know. That was incredible.
I mean, that really wasn't incredible.
It's been an awesome season, but you know what I was just wondering?
I wonder if we should start asking, not demanding, but asking that when people call Reaction Theater,
if you've been drinking beer, just let us know how many you've drank.
You leave your message, you cuss out who you ever cuss out and say, 11 beers.
And then hang up.
That's right.
I'd be funny.
That would be very good.
You're going to start your trend, Mike Davis.
This guy, this next one, the rap song in Darlington, now that was classic.
Love this.
Just finished the week, and first I want to thank God.
I don't know, but it all started kind of odd.
No online orders, so I'll skip a little work.
The JRN for my daily a T-shirt.
Next stop, I roll down to the seven.
7-Eleven.
Yeah, 7-Eleven.
And down a couple of Dale Jr. salad crates.
Uh-huh.
The future is now.
I see a lot of drivers in trouble.
That napal's car got the flag and scored the double.
I even saw the lights up the good.
year blimp and a red little Elvis is a pimp.
Drunk as hell when I was watching Cuck.
Lady and Black gave us a stellar runners up.
Today we didn't even have to bidge T.J.
I got to say it was a good day.
Hey, keep it up, guys.
Nine beers.
That's right, that's right.
See, how funny would that be?
No, that's a great call.
That's one of the all-time Hall of Famers right there.
Seven.
I like how he's in total rap mode, and then he says,
Hey guys, good job.
Right.
At the end, like in total normal voice.
But that was very funny.
So you guys keep talking about how we need some people to say how much they've had.
Well, how about this next guy?
Well, I hope you guys aren't giving away any happy lenses this week because I'm drunk and I'm not very happy.
We held our position for two restarts in a row in second.
And on the last restart, we get shuffled all the way back to seventh place.
And the little pipsqueak.
Joey Legano goes to victory lane.
I hate Joey Ligano.
He's a nerd, and I think Dale Jr.
should put him in the wall next week of Talladega.
Well, maybe not Talladega,
because we don't want to injure the little girl.
I mean, I mean, boy.
But we need to win next week of Talladega.
Dale, yeah.
There you go.
20 beers.
Nerd.
That last caller reminded me,
I think I have a new favorite moment.
When Hogue sang happy.
I almost
I forgot that one
Put some callers
in reacting to that
But then I remember Dale
banned it from being on air
Oh is that right
He banned it?
Yeah he banned Hogue from singing
Don't you remember?
Oh he was in studio when he said that
There you go Taylor
Our first ever FCC violation
It was Hokes singing
Dale Jr. is the Federal Communications
Commission
Who would have ever thought that
Let's go to the caller
That talked about
Getting the fan vote in Charlotte
All right
I'm calling to get the Dale Jr.
fans up on the driver the number 98.
has won voting for the All-Star race.
Now they're trying to go after Dale Jr.
for his most popular driver.
Come on, Junior Nation.
Rise up. Let them know what time it is.
Dale, yeah.
Well, and hey, and I love that we put that one in there
because Mike Davis, you can vote every single day.
Hogue, you're tweeting about it all the time.
I vote every day.
Yeah, that's him voting.
That's voting, buddy.
Yes.
Team player.
Dale Jr. actually tweeted something out last.
week about his appreciation when he wakes up in the morning and he checks Twitter and he sees all
of the mentions in his timeline because anytime he gets anytime he receives a vote and somebody
tweets it it links his you know Twitter handle to it at Dale Jr. And so he sees that and he just
he was overwhelmed with gratitude when he sees that and he actually tweeted that out said it really
lifts him up. It means a lot to him. So I thought that was neat. That is really cool. And it's got
to be a great feeling to see that each and every day.
Keep voting.
Sprint dot on flash speed.
There you go.
Now, our boy, Dado, after Dover.
This is awesome.
Well, I am.
First run of the God-B-B-Bin season.
And I'm not pissed at Jr.
I'm not pissed at the dude crew.
I'm not even pissed it.
Steve was heart.
I'll tell you what's got me running.
We have a top three car.
we come down pit road
and that
Demi Hamlin
can't see where he's going
Junior
I know you're friends with Demi
once you
take Demi
get him a damn gift card
and break clips
and get that motherfucker's hair cut
that hippie can't see
pit road, he can't see where he's at
and he's a haircut
come on Jr.
You know, Dan's exercise program seems to be a lot like mine and that he's all but quit.
I mean, because other than that, I don't remember him actually running anymore this year.
He used to do it weekly last year, Taylor.
Yeah, he hasn't needed to.
That's the only time this year that he's had to do that.
So, yeah, listen, that was hysterical in Dover.
But that just speaks to how great of a season we've had, you know?
I mean, you haven't needed to run any more than that.
So, but that was funny stuff.
That's about the only good thing that happens after a bad week
because Daddow's running and he calls reaction theater.
I sort of miss it.
Yeah, to a degree.
Now, this next one was awesome.
Mike Davis, you were there to watch it.
Come on, maybe.
Junior is going into, what is this?
Come on.
Come on.
Final lap.
Come on!
Yes!
Coming to take the check it.
Let's go!
Let's go, coconut.
Dale, yeah.
It's like he just on that final lap,
realize there's not a turn four.
It's like, Junior's going into,
where does that turn go?
It's a damn trying.
Where in the world is this?
He won!
That's some good play-by-play right there.
I like that.
Here comes junior into turn-fired.
No, there isn't a turn-for.
He won.
Yeah.
That was great.
Great play-by-play there on Reaction Theater.
All right.
How about the lady after the Sonoma race?
This is hilarious.
This week on As the Wheel Turns,
it appears Junior studied the Kyle Bush
How to Take him out video for road courses.
Newman continues to have trust issues
ever since Junior abandoned him on the runway.
Will track officials equip the back of every seat
with an air sick bag in anticipation of a Jimmy Johnson win?
And people are asking,
Can you watch your rear tires and still keep your eyes on the track ahead?
Tune in next week to find out and get an update on the waffle bellies.
Will they score an autograph?
Until then, drive like you mean it.
Dale yeah.
That's a waffle belly.
I love that term.
They had to explain to me what it was.
This lady actually ended up tweeting me the next week a picture of a waffle belly.
I'm sure you really appreciated that too.
Yeah.
That was very creative.
We need to get her right and stuff for us.
Yeah, yes, we do.
And finally, after Michigan, the Dale Yeah song.
I love that song.
I wish you would call it every week.
You know what?
Is it about time?
You know, if we get a.
an opening theme song, one that's specific to this show.
Should we not use that guy's Dale yeah song?
Yes.
We should.
Just whooping that ass.
That sounds about like our speed right there.
Cars got to go fast.
And then he went into this part where it sounded like, was it Dana Carvey's chopping broccoli
when he's like, they kind of make up the words as they go.
Win every race.
Yeah.
48 beers.
Man, that's good.
That's good.
Well, it's good because it's reaction theater.
And, man, do we love all the people that call in to reaction theater each and every week.
It's open 24-7.
All you have to do is call toll-free like it's 1983, 1-855-7-40-1902.
Again, 1855-740-1902.
And leave us your voicemail message.
And we'll play the best each week right here on Dirty Mo Radio.
Now, we got to get the eye black on and get ready to roll because we got races.
We're going to the brickyard.
All right, Wednesday's Fast Lane family presented by Charlie Soap with Kelly Earnhardt Miller.
How about the new sponsor there?
I know, Charlie Soap.
She's got a special guest with a special announcement so you won't want to miss this.
Friday, check out J.R. 360, the podcast.
We're still waiting to see if Regan got his check cashed.
And on Mondays, we recap the full weekend for the Junior Motorsports nationwide and late model teams
and Dale's Sprint Cup series run on the Monday recap presented by Spy.
Uh-oh, hoag's here.
That means it's time for him to read the white flag.
White flag right there, white flag.
Five weeks are officially behind us.
It's time to get back to work.
That starts today for junior competition meetings at Hendrick Motorsports will take up much of his afternoon
as the 88 team puts the final touches on its indie car.
It kind of sounds like, you know, it's a NASCAR car with indie car.
Oh, that does.
Yeah, yeah.
It's Indianapolis Brickyard 400 car.
There you go.
We're leaving tomorrow.
That would be Wednesday, going to Camp Adderberry to participate in a National Guard appearance with Indy cars Graham Ray Hall.
The two National Guard drivers will be riding in Blackhawks participating in live fire drills and basically blowing stuff up.
That's fine.
On Friday, Dale Jr. will participate in the annual Chevy Day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Dale Jr.'s autograph session will be with Jamie McMurray and Austin Dillon from 8.30 to 10 a.m. Eastern.
There will also be a Chevy stage appearance in there for 15 minutes.
That will be towards the end of the autograph session.
That will be Junior's only public appearance of the weekend,
so come hang out on Friday at Chevy Day.
We'll have one practice session on Friday,
and final practice and qualifying on Saturday,
and the Brickyard 400 is Sunday at 1 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.
Remember that it's ESPN no longer TNT.
It's ESPN, the worldwide later.
And finally, the nationwide.
race on Saturday. We'll start at 4 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.
Junior's not in it, but he'll be on the pit box supporting Kevin Harvick, Regan Smith, and
Chase Elliott, as they try for win number eight for Junior Motorsports this season. Pretty
damn good. That's it.
Hey, for Mike Hogue, for Mike Davis, for Amanda Troutman, for Dale Earnhardt Jr., for everyone
that's associated with Junior Nation, I'm Taylor Zarzer. We're fired up about the second
half of the season. Let's go race for a championship.
Dale yeah, Amanda.
Dale yeah.
Oh, yeah, I love it.
The favorite moment of the season right there.
