This is Dale Jr., and you're listening to Dirty Moe Radio.
I'm about having a hard a day.
10-4.
That's all right.
We got what we need.
It's solid day.
Yeah, I got a little greedy.
I was a little bit of it this morning.
Hey, everybody, Jr., just got back from Chicago.
Not a terrible finish, not as good as we ran all day long.
I know most people are real disappointed because we ran good all day and then we finished 11.
I don't know.
Some people are kind of wishing we would have finished better, but I'll be honest with you, man.
was difficult those last few restarts trying to get that car going on the bottom back around
seventh or eighth in line got the guys of tires behind you and they're going around the top on the
outside line where I want to be I want to restart on the outside I don't want to restart on the
inside boxed in and yeah I got aggressive on that last restart and we were four wide going in
term one but the tires are the guys on the bottom had the tires and we just you know we couldn't
hold them off I know it looks easy on TV but it's really
not. Anyhow, we did a lot of good things and you know even though we did finish 11th after
running fifth all day, we blew up here last year and pretty much ruined our chances
that went into championship under the old format. Under the new format, we blew up last year and
still would have won the championship. So the championship is not won this weekend and it's not
lost this weekend. A couple more races to go and I think we got a great, great shot at it.
So we're going to stay positive.
The good things that come out of this weekend is we were junk Saturday.
I don't think people really get a good understanding of where our speed is
unless you really, really plug in and you're looking at all the laps and sort of,
if you're studying the time charts and practice lap by lap and tracking how the competition is going,
yeah, you get a good understanding.
But I don't know that the casual fan really gets a true understanding.
of maybe where our heads at or how we feel about our car, how we feel we are compared to
the competition. And to be honest, Saturday was awful. We weren't anywhere where we needed to be.
We were about two-tenths off of the guys that I thought were going to run well. Two-tenths is a
chunk of time, so I was getting very worried, very concerned. The third and final practice,
we had all kinds of problems with the engine and a spark plug, and then we went out there
and proceeded to sneak it up and run all kinds of terrible laps.
We really, at the end of the practice, looked at the changes and didn't feel like we learned anything.
So it was just a disaster.
And, I mean, we've ran, we're not a, we don't practice well.
We never do.
But we always race well.
Even if we practice decent, I know that it's going to be a great race, because we always race, just fine.
We just don't practice, don't qualify well.
I don't know why that is, so I wish I hadn't asked for you, but.
Trust me, it's an unpleasant experience to have to struggle through practice and worry whether that's a reflection of how the race is going to go.
But Steve Lattart and the engineers stayed up to the wee hours of the morning looking over all the data, looking at the teammate stuff, looking at our stuff, trying to come up with pieces of the puzzle that we needed that we were missing.
And they did. They do it time and time again.
But this particular race, we went from what I thought was a 25th place car, or a 20th.
20th place car to a top 5 car, a fifth place car.
We didn't have enough speed for the 24 or the 4 or the 2, or the 42, but I think we could have finished 5th.
I'm real happy about that.
I'm real happy that we were able to improve the car overnight.
It sucks because I want it to be good on Saturday.
I want to run Saturday and go, man, we've got a nice car.
We got a good car.
But anyhow, we ran a good race, we ran a solid race.
We ran up toward the front.
We ran as well as I think we need to run to get further into this chase, to get into round two or round three.
That's how we need to compete.
Can we finish 11th?
No.
Maybe this first round, we can get by with finishing 11th.
But round two, you're not going to make it.
I know that.
We need to improve a little bit there.
And it's just, you know, it's going to be depending on the tracks.
Whether these are good tracks for us or not good tracks or whether we unload a great car or we struggle with just some guys are going to have.
hit it some guys aren't depending on that facility that we show up to in that
particular round so it's gonna be really interesting to see how this works out the
championship wasn't won today it wasn't lost today and we're in a whole
lot better shape than we were last year at this particular point so I'm frustrated
I think I you know I think we put we left four or five points on a table today
but can't be worried about that got to move on got new hamps you're coming up
can't be grumbling about today got to start looking at notes got to
start studying seeing what we did there last time seeing what didn't work what worked got to try
to go into new hampshire and try to win the race get that immunity all right you guys enjoy the

Don't forget that.
With Amanda Troutman and Mike Davis, I am Taylor Zarzer.
I think you hear some frustration in his voice there, clearly,
with what transpired throughout the weekend.
And in the last couple of restarts,
I think you hear a man that loves the fact that they had speed
and were able to fix their issues for the race,
and you hear a man trying to tell everybody to calm the hell down,
I think is what I got out of all that, Mike.
You know what we heard there, it's a voice of reason.
Yeah.
And that's probably what we need a lot of times.
Look, here's the deal.
Some people are not happy with an 11th place finish.
I get that.
I'm not even happy with an 11th place finish.
We have that in common,
especially when you've tasted a top five.
you saw them racing up the top five.
11th is not very satisfying.
I get that.
We have that in common.
Here's where we sort of differ, me and a lot of other people.
These are things that I heard or just saw on Twitter.
I mean, first of all, the chase is not over.
Not after the first race.
It's not.
It just isn't.
Mathematically, however you want to spin it, it is not over.
Nothing was lost.
Another thing, people talking about how 11th place isn't championship caliber.
Well, I understand what you're trying to say there,
but if you look at it through the lens of the way
the 88 team was this weekend.
11th actually might be championship caliber
if your car showed up
to the track junk.
If you were able to get an 11th place finish out of it,
it might actually be championship caliber.
I could at least make the argument.
And then also, you know, some people sitting there
telling me that Dale Jr. just gave up a top five.
Like it was something he chose to do because of his restarts.
Listen to the guy.
I always want to hear what Junior says
before I make my own opinion.
And Junior sat there and explained it in detail
at the beginning of this podcast, the situation on the restarts.
And the last of them being he was actually too aggressive.
A lot of people sit there and give him a hard time about a lack of aggression on restarts.
Well, here he is saying he was too aggressive and he got greedy and he tried to get all he could.
He went four wide and it didn't work out for him.
He lost a lot of spot.
So that's from the horse's mouth.
I think that it's smart for us not to lose our head.
No, that's not.
a couple things here.
Mike, here's what I would say, and I'm curious to see if you would agree with this,
no matter how junior and the boys qualify,
I always think they can get a top ten.
I do.
I mean, I think because they are so.
Dale Jr.'s extremely talented,
and that Steve LaTart is remarkably good at being a crew chief.
They've got a phenomenal team, great engines.
I think that that, with you combine all that together,
I always think they can get a top ten no matter where they qualify.
based off of where they're qualify,
I have all kinds of doubt about them winning races
if they don't qualify and or practice well.
And those are two very different things.
You know, top ten in them, as he did like crazy last year,
may even put you in a position to win.
But I would say this, in this new format,
you're going to have to have some wins in the chase.
I think it's quite obvious.
You're going to have to have some wins in the chase
to win a championship this year.
So to junior's point and to your point,
Friday and Saturday have got to improve
in order to win a champion
this year. But obviously they have that speed on Sunday. So that's the first thing I would say.
The second thing I would say is if you can look in the mirror, or if Dale Jr. can look in the mirror,
or Steve LaTartre or the countless others that have something to do with this team can look in the
mirror and saying, we are doing everything we can do. We feel good about our preparation.
A few years ago, I got a phone call from a guy named Ralph at the Associated Press who said,
Taylor, your ballot this year was the most accurate ballot we had.
And I said, well, that's funny because I got 4,100 emails from people saying that I was the worst human being in the world.
I'm not welcome in the states of Ohio or West Virginia.
I mean, it was nuts the response that I got to it.
But at the end, I could say, you know what?
I took it seriously.
I did the best job I could.
There is no doubt in my mind that what Dale Jr. just said in that audio recording that we played earlier is accurate.
And level-headed people believe that in the overwhelming majority of,
Junior Nation is full of level-headed people that don't tweet Mike Davis, that don't tweet
Taylor Zarzer, and don't tweet Dale Jr. I wish all of you would tweet Mike and tweet Dale
and say, I support you 3,000 percent. You're just not hearing from me because I know you guys
are doing the right things. Here's why I even make it a big deal, because they're wrong.
Here's why. They are absolutely wrong. Let me give you this stat, Taylor. There was a lady
It said if you finish 11th, you've officially lost the chase.
After one race, okay?
Did you know, Taylor, that since the chases began, in 2004, every year, every champion,
every champion had races where they finished worse than 11th.
They all had.
They all did.
And I'm going to tell you something.
You go on back to Tony Stewart, 25th.
You go to Jimmy Johnson, 39th.
And then 24th at Talladega in 2006.
Every year, the one that ended up with the most people.
points and took home the trophy, had a race in the chase that was worse than what Dale Jr.
did this past Sunday.
Nothing is lost.
Again, we cannot continue to finish 11th.
We all get that.
But you can't tell me that the thing is lost.
And another lady had actually said, well, that's actually pointless, Mike, because it's a
completely new format this year.
Well, I would say that she's missed the point completely because I don't care what the
format is. I'm telling you that the person that
ended up with the most points. In other words,
the best driver over the span of 10
races had a race, at least
one, and in some cases more than one,
where they finished worse than 11th.
That's all I'm saying. You throw whatever format
you want at it. I don't care. And even
more so, if you take this format,
they reset the points after,
you know, if you make the next round,
the points are reset.
Yep. So it matters even less.
Yep. No, I mean, and here's
another thing I'll say. I feel
very, very good about Dale Jr.'s
chances moving forward, given
how hard they're working,
given how talented they are,
I feel very good about their chances.
Very, very good. Now, something crazy
unforeseen could happen,
but if nothing fluky
happens, I feel very, very good
about their chances. And again, I think the
overwhelming majority of people listening to this podcast
feel the same way.
And, you know, another thing I feel really good about, Mike,
I feel like this team gets better
and better at the tracks they're coming up.
You know, Loudon and Dover historically have not been their best tracks, but after that,
the tracks keep getting better and better in terms of the results that Dale Jr.
And Steve LaTart have had in the last handful of years, especially last year.
So as the races go on, as you looked at the schedule, I feel very good about what they have in
front of them.
Well, everything I said last week on this podcast still holds true.
I worry that we're not peaking at the schedule.
the right time when others are, namely Kozlowski.
Really, the Penske guys.
The Penske guys, they have found something that others have not found.
And this isn't the first time this has happened.
I mean, this is, Penske and Hendrik Motorsports sort of established themselves at the top of the,
you know, of the scale here.
And Penske, a couple years ago, Kozlowski, his championship year, that crew chief he has
is one smart dude.
And they came up on something that was, uh, uh, uh,
super fast and nobody knew what it was.
And then the rest of the series a year later figured it out and it sort of evened out.
But kudos to them.
They have found something.
And I tweeted it the other day.
I said they have fired that first shot.
Not so much just because of the win, but because of how stupid fast those Penske cars are.
What makes you think that Brad's going to be, you know, any different coming up at Loud this weekend?
He's good there.
That's what concerns me.
They're peaking.
We're not.
We've gone, I think that was our fourth week in a row without a top.
10, you know, and that's, that clearly has got to change.
That's got to change.
That's where we all agree.
No, nobody disputes that.
No, there's no doubt about that.
Nobody disputes that.
Yeah, no, it's a long chase, though, and they have certainly found something, as you said, that others have not.
Maybe a right side skirt.
No, I'm kidding.
I'm kidding.
I'm just reading Mike Hoag's tweets.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I kind of disagreed with him on that.
I don't think anything fishy is going on there.
I just thought it was a little funny.
Let me tell you something.
There's only one reason why Kislauski won that race, and it has something to do with anatomy.
Hmm.
You're talking about his late race move there?
Yes.
Split.
That was phenomenal, by the way.
And shout out to Kyle Larson.
I mean, that guy was, he's not in the chase, and that guy was going to run everybody
off out of Chicago to try to win the thing.
So you've got to give him credit for how hard he ran everybody, but that was a hell of a move.
It was incredible.
That Brad Kay made.
All right.

Okay, we will go to Reaction Theater now.
I don't think we've had any doubt.
all year long that the 88 team is awesome.
But I think Steve LaTartre turning that car from junk into a top five running car all day long
overnight shows how badly Stevie wants this championship before he's gone.
We want it too.
I know Dale Jr. wants it.
Like he said, top 12 will get us through this first round, and then we've got to pump it up,
pump it up, but I have confidence.
Great way to turn around that car.
Good job.
Absolutely.
Great job.
Mike, there's so many what-ifs, and there's no point in playing any of that.
But if there wasn't a feud in the Stenhouse-Patrick relationship,
I think that Dale Jr. gets three or four more spots, right?
That's right.
That caution actually hurt a lot of people, didn't it?
Yeah, it did.
I'd love to see how that ended up.
Or maybe I don't.
Maybe I don't want to see how that ended up.
The plane ride home?
Yeah, just a plane ride home.
The awkwardness.
Yeah.
I mean, she said she got out of the car, 17.
the 17 rectus.
Wow.
Can you?
And Ryan McGee had a great quote tweet about that after the race and saying something like, you know,
remember all these times of when, never mind, no, we don't remember.
This has never happened before.
It's definitely very unusual for sure.
All right.
What do we have next?
Well, junior, way to go.
You and the 88 team, you had a top five and you blew that.
Then you had a top 10 and you blew that.
I don't know what the hell you guys need to.
to do to figure out what you need to win this championship, but you're damn sure not doing
what you need to.
Congratulations on getting an 11th place finish after you were so terrible in practice
on Saturday, but you guys have got to get your heads out of your ass and get it fixed.
Go get loud and.
Dale, yeah.
Tell yeah.
Hey, you know what?
I will say this.
I will say this.
If you want to have a beef about why we're showing up to the track and being so out to lunch as we were, that's legitimate.
Right, Taylor?
I mean, like, at this point of the year, why were we so off on Friday and why were we so off on Saturday?
That's a great question.
And I'm not, look, I'm not sitting here doubting Stevie or anything.
No, no, no.
And it's the first thing that Junior said.
I mean, no, I think that's very fair.
I mean, Junior's wondering it.
Right.
That is an absolute fair argument to make, and I would agree with it.
Why are we coming to a track and being that far off?
Junior said he was two-tenths off, and that is significant.
That is very significant.
But here's the one thing.
There is no way anyone can convince me it's because of a lack of effort on anybody's part.
And I know you're not saying that.
No.
I'm just saying to that guy or to anyone, it's not a lack of effort.
Listen, Brad Kislauski didn't make the chase last year, folks.
He won the championship two years ago.
He's on fire right now.
He didn't make the chase last year.
Do you think he wasn't trying last year?
These things happen.
I mean, people go through ruts where they don't practice well or they don't race well.
And it's not because of the lack of effort.
It's just that's a part of life.
But there is no question that I want the input that Steve LaTard and Dale Jr.
your have in my corner, and I have every belief they're going to get out of it.
Let's go to the next one.
We start at the day, P13.
You did an excellent job today.
TJ, I love the attitude in your voice today.
It's confidence.
This is a wrong...
There we go.
Yeah, Tim Brock.
I love that.
Very good, Tim Brock.
Well, the reason why TJ was so excited is because his Buffalo Bills beat my Miami
Dolphins again yesterday.
So he's all fired up about that.
So that's why he was in a good move.
The Bills won?
They won again.
or 2-0.
The bills hadn't been 2-0 in like 15 years.
Yeah.
Jim Kelly was their quarterback, I guess, when that happened.
Jim Kelly emotionally was back on the field yesterday.
We didn't stand it.
It had been hard to beat them then.
Yeah, we didn't have a chance.
It's just like, come on, guys, just let's go home.
You know one thing I'll say real quick about this weekend.
This is going to be a big weekend for us, if you want to be perfectly honest.
And that is because they left Loud New Hampshire last time, you know, earlier in the year,
not happy with the way the car performed.
I think they finished 10th.
and they were not happy about it.
You're right. Junior was as down as I can remember all year.
This is one of, yeah, absolutely.
And I remember in his commentary right here on this podcast,
he said we've got to get back to the shop,
figure out why we were not better than what we were,
and I promise when we get back,
we will have a better race car.
Well, now we're on that week,
and this is going to be a big weekend to see how they show up at the track.
How they unload.
I mean, let's see how they unload, how they qualify.
Well, you know, we, one thing that we forgot to really mention is the fact that we started 13th this past weekend by virtue of a rained out qualifying.
Right.
I don't know if we would have been any better.
I guess that's based off practice speeds.
Is that right, Amanda?
Yes.
So, you know, if we practice 13th, you know, who's to say we wouldn't have qualified around there?
But we've not been qualified in there very well lately.
So I'll be definitely listening to my PRN friends and watching this weekend during practice for sure, because you're right.
It's Friday and Saturday are very important.
Yep.
All right, who's next?
Hey, guys.
I've been a list that we've called in, and today, I'm happy about his way the team showed
their car that was in the top five all day, and 11 is non-indicative of how good this car was.
Now, remember, last year, we won the chase under this current race in Chicago last year.
Last year, we won the damn thing.
Amanda Troutman, do you have a way of finding out who that man is?
I don't know, but he might be the most level-headed person I've heard from in a while.
I'll send him my own Dalyette shirt if I have to.
Mike Davis, I'm going to wash it.
It's right.
I'm sticking her in the mail.
It's in the dirty clothes.
Straight off my back and into the mailbox, buddy.
Here you go right now.
I'll give Mike Davis this Alabama shirt that they gave me in the training room,
and I'll give you this Dail Yes shirt.
But, hey, Mike, I promise you, I promise you, most guys are like that guy.
I promise you.
Man, that is level-headed perspective.
But did you hear what he said at the beginning?
I've never done this before, but I felt like I wanted to call in now.
Most people get it, and they get it just like that guy gets it.
And that's absolutely right with what he said about the talent
and what he said about the car that they're going to roll out in these next nine races.
Couldn't agree with him anymore.
We got two more to play.
Do we want this?
Do we want this championship?
As Junior Nation?
Hell yes, we want this championship.
As a professional race car driver?
I don't know, only you can answer that.
I hope to goodness that the answer is yes,
because what kind of bullshit finish is 11th place?
I don't want to hear about, oh, we had to start on the top,
and everybody checks up, or, oh, we had to start and restart on the bottom.
And this happened, the other thing happens.
You know what?
It happens every damn week.
Other guys go forward.
Look at that B.
Mood move that Kisilowski did.
And when I say B-B-Moo, I mean in all capital letters.
But look what it freaking did for him.
Okay, you're either going to get your busting or you get out there and bust everybody else's
okay, you deserve this.
You've earned to be where you are.
Don't let them do this to you.
We're behind you.
Dale, yeah, no beers, go 88.
Imagine if she had beers.
Yeah, man.
I love how much people care.
I do too.
I was going to say the same thing.
You know what?
I want her to call back every week.
We don't have to agree on everything.
Because Lowski did make a great move.
He didn't do it on the inside row, though.
I'll just say that.
And I don't think he could have.
But the fact is, is she's passionate about it.
And you know what?
Listen, here's the problem.
I know the source of everyone's frustration.
When you're giving a taste of the cake,
like my two-year-old, if I give her a taste of the cake,
I put it in front of her, and then I take it away,
what do I expect her to do?
I expect her to cry because she wants more.
When they taste a top five, when Junior's running in the top five,
and then all of a sudden you finish 11th,
nobody's going to feel good about that.
And I get that.
So from that, if you look at it through that lens,
Friday and Saturday really don't matter because you were tasting a top five.
You had prepared yourself for a top five finish.
You were already looking ahead to Loudoun,
and then he lost some spots there at the end of those final two restarts.
I get that.
I get that.
But also, if my daughter goes into a tantrum and I don't think handles it well or doesn't respond well to that,
I will have a problem with it.
I expect her still to snap out of it and realize that, you know what, there's more cake in your future.
If you actually, you know, do what you got to do to earn it.
I get everybody's frustration.
Yeah.
Amanda, do you want some cake right now?
I do.
She'll beat you up.
You don't want to snatch it back.
Yeah.
Don't snatch it away from Amanda.
I'm kind of hungry now after hearing all that.
Listen, you're absolutely right.
There's no question.
Once you've had a taste of it, it makes you even want it more.
You get more frustrated by results that aren't in the top five when you've tasted it so much.
There's no question that you're right about that.
Last one.
Look, I'm going to be honest with you.
When the race was over, I was pissed.
I was livid that Steve Lattark watched Dale Jr. go from 50.
to ninth on that next to last restart, had an opportunity to come in and get new shoes for the 88,
decided to stay out on the inside lane, and we got past.
I was pissed, and then I looked at the standings.
Well, hell, we're fifth.
This new chase format got me a little confused.
I've got to be honest with you.
We finished 11th, but we're fifth.
Hell, we're solid in the chase.
What the hell am I worried about?
I'm confused.
I'm excited.
I'm piss off.
I need somebody to hold me.
I don't know what to do.
His new chase for man's got me all googly and squirly.
What would Steve LaTart do?
Steve, call me.
Talk me off the ledge, will you?
Dale, yeah.
You know, Daddow's right about,
Daddo does make some good points because I was,
I've got to be honest.
When I saw Dale Jr.
was the last or second to last car that stayed on the track,
I was mad.
I was thinking,
God, why are they not coming to get tires here?
You know, they get a couple more spots without any doubt if they come and get tires.
I thought the same thing.
But listen, I know that those are such tough decisions to make and knowing who's coming and who's going.
It's like, you know, it's like going out to Vegas and playing Russian roulette.
But he's exactly right.
After the race, just like Junior, as soon as I can see the standings,
I'm hitting refresh on Bob Pockris's Twitter account 95 times,
I realized, man, we're good.
You know what?
It wasn't our favorite day.
They had speed.
Wish would have finished better with that speed after all that they overcame.
But absolutely this team, as Dale Jr. said, can still win a championship,
especially given the hole they would have dug out of last year if they had the same format.
So I still feel good, Mike, and I think Daddow nailed it.
Here's where I sort of agree with him.
And this is less, it honestly has less to do with actually having fresh rubber, at least two tires on your car.
And more to do with if you know you don't want to be on the inside row.
Well, I would figure you've got a 50% chance of changing that by coming down pit road.
I don't know if that's actually what the percentages come out to.
But do you remember earlier in the year when Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon were sort of drag racing off pit road?
Yeah.
And Gordon had him, but he let off the gas just so he could, you know,
Start on the different row.
Yeah, whichever row he was trying to get.
Why couldn't you do that?
I mean, that would have been something,
and I don't know where exactly our pit stall was.
I don't remember, to be honest with you, I'm thinking back.
But honestly, if you come down, you get tires,
maybe you lose five, six spots.
Maybe.
You know, maybe you lose more.
Maybe you don't.
But if you can restart on the outside,
it probably would be worth it.
And if you have enough time with T.J. up on the roof,
you know, sort of knowing the game plan, maybe you can sort of alter that and have control of where you restart on that last restart.
That's fascinating to handle that.
It's such crazy strategy that you have to decide in the heat of the moment.
It's a tough thing to do.
Reaction theater is open 24-7.
All you have to do is call toll-free like it's 1983.

Where can we go for the nine things you got to know?
I saw it on your Twitter handle, but what's that website, Mike?
BuzzFeed.
BuzzFeed, yeah, that's good.
Go to Mike's Twitter handle as well.
That's some funny stuff that you'll want to check out as well.
Let's throw the white flag.
White flag right there, white flag.
All right, this white flag is brought to you by Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet.
is looking at me.
What?
Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet is not actually aware that they are sponsoring this segment,
but I'm looking for a new truck, so I figured I'd start buttering up right now.
As far as death.
I'm going to start throwing out some ideas too then.
Yeah, yeah.
Listen, we might as well just do that, right?
I mean, make it to our advantage.
As for Dale's schedule this week, there's really not a lot going on, all things considered.
I know there's a dentist appointment somewhere in there, which is significant, you know.
Got to keep those teeth clean.
Just a cleaning, right?
I don't know, but you've got to brush your teeth.
I've told you that, Amanda.
You've got to keep brushing your teeth.
I don't, you know, we don't need him going in with, like, dental pain into the weekend.
Yeah, that's a good point.
Boy, can you imagine the reaction theater calls in.
One thing that does help with teeth is drinking beer.
I don't know if you know that.
We'll toast Kevin Harvick on his win at Chicago, Josh Barry on his win at Hickory over the weekend,
and Josh on winning his championship.
That's a second track championship.
By the way, this is a serious question.
Should you not actually go to shots if you've won a championship?
I mean, really, are we going to do a beer?
Yeah, just not yet.
Yeah. Well, if you have another championship to compete for, you should probably wait and go to shots after everybody's season.
Just maybe some advice.
What about me?
If I have – if I have – if I have no influence over how we perform on the track.
I mean, that's a good point. You should show up and take shots and say, boys, we want a championship.
Y'all drink all the beer you want.
Amanda, are you doing shots with me?
Oh, sure. Let's do it.
Slide them up.
All right.
What a country.
That's right.
So brush your teeth and doing shots this week.
That's what we've established so far on White Flag.
Before Dale Jr. heads to New Hampshire this weekend, he will appear at a high school in Vermont on behalf of the National Guard.
He'll be speaking with America's youth like he's done all year.
We love those appearances.
On Friday, he'll begin the weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, qualifying and practices on Friday.
A couple more practices on Saturday and then Sunday's cuff races on ESPN at 2 p.m. Eastern.
And by the way, the nationwide series is a standalone race this weekend at Kentucky, so they'll be on Saturday on ESPN too.
That's it.
Wait, I got one more thing.
Oh, you do?
Okay.
We should tell everybody about the armor suite.
Steaks.
Should we?
I think so.
Can you tell me about it?
Do you want to win a bad boy buggy, Mike?
Yes.
Well, you can go online.
Can I?
Yeah.
Where to Amanda?
You can go online to Armor Pit Stop.com and enter their sweepstakes.
Really?
For your chance to win, it's actually, it's in the five-car paint scheme.
The Bad Boy Buggy is.
Kevin Harvick's Bad Boy Buick's Bad Boy Buick, the Five Car, when he runs Armour.
Uh-huh.
Yep.
The Bad Boy Buggy has the five-car paint scheme on it that you can win.
You can enter to win this thing.
Wow.
That's pretty cool.
Well, my feelings are kind of hurt.
I want to win it too.
I know.
I want to win it too.
I want to win it badly, but I don't think I can.
I want a new truck from Dale Earnhardt and Herve-Lade.
Yeah, I think it's quite obvious that you do.
I'm going to start giving shout-outs to the sushi place that Junior likes and all sorts of stuff here in the podcast to come.
Let's go get Loud in New Hampshire, everybody.
Everybody has fun this week.
Get your mind right.
Get ready for the big weekend up there in New Hampshire, as they say.
And we'll talk to you again next week.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. For Amanda Troutman, for Mike Davis. My name is Taylor, Zarser. You've been listening to the Dale Jr. Download presented by a spy. Dale yeah. Thanks for listening to Dirty Moe radio.
Hey, everybody, it's Mike here. Listen, Amanda just told me just now that there is a really good reason why you need to have spy sunglasses, not just for outdoors, but also for indoors. Amanda, what did you just tell me?
If you want to cheat. Cheat how? Well, you know, if you're playing cards, you don't want people to see your eyes. They're on your spy shades.
you cheating at cards. Why
is this even... You've got to win
somehow. And so you're resorting
to cheating. I would cheat in a card game.
You would. I don't know if I can work
with you anymore. I don't know if I can work
with these type of ethics that you bring to the table.
All right, so if you're a cheater
at cards, or if you just like to
keep the sun out of your eyes, either one, you should go to
spy object.com. Is that right? That's right.
You also can use the discount code.
Dirty Mo Radio, all one word. Is that right?
That's right. And receive 20% off your purchase.
Thank you.
