Dirty Moe.
Oh, yeah.
She doesn't have a headset.
Amanda.
I'm looking at her.
She's micless.
Oh, one word.
At checkout and received 20% off.
off of your purchase.
Miss Amanda Troutman gave up her headset today.
Yep.
T.J. Majors is here.
Mike Davis is here.
I'm Taylor Zarzer.
That sucked.
I don't know what else to say.
It sucked.
It sucked, Taylor.
That's what it was.
TJ?
I did not enjoy it very much.
No.
I mean, the beginning.
I thought the beginning was fun.
We started like we normally would start and they.
Gained eight or nine spots.
Yeah.
Yeah.
On track throughout a run.
That's pretty impressive.
That's how you want to start a race.
I mean, obviously it's a little easier to do
when you start behind a second-paced car.
I mean, it's not like, I mean, it's still hard to pass,
but to mow some down like we did was on track to, you know,
being in the top ten here.
With the exception of Charlotte, because I hope to go to that race,
I'm going to be like everybody else, like I was on Sunday.
I'm going to be consuming this race via the television
and for some of us out there listening to race chatter
and, you know, being a member of Junior Nation, if you will.
And so I'll have that perspective, and then the two of you will have the perspective of being there, being with Dale Jr.
And can add so much more of the conversation.
So I think it's good that we'll get both of those perspectives, you know, a fan's perspective, if you will, and also insider's perspective.
Sure. That sucked as a fan. I mean, it really did.
Well, that sucked as the insider, too.
Yeah, no, I know. I know it did. And I think what you guys can talk about is how much it sucked for Dale Jr.
And how much it sucked for TJ and everybody.
and for you, Mike.
But as somebody just watching the race, it reminded me, honestly, it reminded me of five years ago.
I mean, really, that race did.
But what it really reminded, the last time I felt that way really had to be T.J.
Maybe the spring of 2013, like that little swoon in April of 2013.
We had a lot of frustrating bad luck.
But it's been, I guess the point I'm making, it's been a long time since I felt that
bad about a race.
Remember when we talk about the car where it lacks ambition?
I mean, it reminded me, like, if top ten was commitment and the car was the boyfriend,
anytime it got close to commitment, it went backwards.
Yeah.
It's like a bachelor.
Our car was the bachelor.
That's what it was.
I mean, honestly.
Oh, your tweet was great.
That's about Frank Stallone.
That was great.
It was hard to watch.
It was hard to watch.
It was hard to watch.
This race was hard to watch because Dale Jr.
had spurts where the car was actually aggressively moving forward.
I mean, he could make passes.
But for the most part, those were few and far between.
And that car, for whatever reason, did not react well to any change that you made.
I think the best change that they made was the one where they kind of reverted back to the way they started the race.
And I think that's the two runs, the two Green Flag runs where they actually were moving forward.
Touch of even a half a pound of air pressure.
And that thing was like, no way, don't want it.
If it got close to 13th, 12th, whatever.
I think the highest we got was 13th.
I mean, that's bad.
The highest you got is 13th.
It didn't want to get any closer to that commitment.
When y'all refinanced, I think it actually got up a few spots.
Yeah, put in new car scent and everything.
I mean, honestly, to answer your question about what did Dale Jr.
thinking as far as the insider thing, this ought to sum it up for you nicely.
He got out of the car.
He went around, looked at it.
And then the first thing he said to me was, I'm sorry, man, I didn't run better than that.
And I'm like, why are you apologizing to me?
I mean, you actually drove your ass off.
Yeah.
And he did.
I thought when he got out of that car, I was expecting a guy that looked like he just climbed Everest.
Because he was playing defense, and it wasn't defense against his competitors.
It was defense hanging on to that car for the entire time.
Now, T.J. saw it from the roof.
What did you think?
I mean, I didn't think the car was actually that bad.
I don't think it was.
I think it was there was a lot of cars between the eighth and, you know, 18th, like, range that could,
wherever you singled out in a run, it's probably where you were going to run.
But do you remember the part where he's talking about, like my arms are literally tired now?
Yeah, I mean, this was before the halfway point.
Yeah, there was a couple.
I mean, it was a runner-so there where, you know, obviously we could have had the car better.
But when we got to 13th, that was, you know, everything was going good.
We got to 13th, yellow, come out, whatever.
We're restarting on the inside, and that restart is what killed it.
That everyone down here won, and we were on the bottom.
You know it's a bad deal when the leader takes the outside every restart,
which they did.
Just getting locked down there, man.
We went from, like, eighth to, like, 23rd or something in, like, one lap because they all went down there and jammed up,
and you just can't go right around them.
This lap 80, I think.
That was early on.
Yeah, it was real early.
So, and once that, I mean, the cars we were all running around, like the 22 and the 42,
a lot of them guys had.
We seem to have, like, consecutive two or three times in a row.
We were in the inside lane.
So the best you can hope to do is maintain.
If you start in 18th or, you know, 15th or, you know,
17th, the best you hope to come off turn
to is 17th, because the inside lane
never gains any ground. And I think
for like two or three times in a row, we were
the inside row, and it really...
Well, we certainly were on the two
times that we got up to 13th and 4th,
13th and 15th. We restarted 13th
and 15th. Obviously two separate
restarts there, and we're on the
inside. I didn't know that the inside was
that, you know, I actually saw
a tweet of a radio transmission
from Carl Edwards
who told his crew
that even let's start counting positions on pit road to make sure we start on the inside.
Inside?
Do you remember before the race when I told him I would try to count if I could?
Yeah, but my point is, I was already thinking about it.
He restarted on the inside.
Yeah, I don't.
So I didn't know that the inside, I just talked it up to arc.
We just didn't have it.
No, and that's, you know, listen, all these people are tweeting at everybody and saying all this,
and everybody's upset, you know, and good, they should be.
They should be upset.
That was everyone's up.
upset. It was hard to watch. So I get it. And listen, people expect more than that. There's no one that
expects more than that than Dale Earnhardt Jr. And he's very disappointed and upset with what happened.
And certainly, I want you guys to tell us more about the drive to the plane and then the plane ride home and all that and what everybody had to say.
But it was extremely frustrating. I'm not going to question anyone's effort. I'm not going to do that because I think that's terribly unfair to question anybody's effort.
Yeah, this ain't an effort thing. I'm just not going to do it.
And I think that that is really short-sighted for people out there that question this team's effort.
That's just ludicrous.
But I do want to ask both of you, why didn't it work?
Why did Dale Jr. and Steve and you, T.J., why, and the team, why didn't it work this weekend?
Why was the team not competitive?
It's not that we weren't competitive.
We just didn't get the things that happened in the race to go our way.
I mean, Harvick went to the back.
Did he drive right back up through him?
No, he passed like two or three cars, and that's where he kind of fell in line,
and it just rode it out, got lapped.
He was about to get lapped or did get lapped right at the end.
When I say competitive, I mean finish in 17th and start in 25th.
You're saying that the car, it was as competitive as top five cars is what you're saying.
I think the car could have ran between fifth and ninth easily if we would have started there.
If we could have got rolling there, I don't think.
Because when you get back there, you fight a lot different stuff when you're in the dirty air back there.
Closer you get to the front, the better your car is going to get.
Like, that's why the leader can run.
If you're 15th, you're probably going to run three-tenths, four-tenths off
with the leader's going to run every lap.
It's just how it's like how it goes, man.
If we could have singled out like that, I fully believe we could have ran.
I totally understand what T.J. is saying.
A lot of it had to do with track position.
A lot of it had to do with restarts.
A lot of it had to do with breaks.
But I got the, I didn't think the car was very competitive yesterday.
And certainly, Dale Jr. didn't think the car was very competitive.
No, Jr., flat out said, we missed this.
I mean, we absolutely missed.
It's why do you think it was missed?
I don't know.
You know what?
Well, I've got a theory.
I mean, I think it seemed like we weren't very good at keeping up with the track.
I don't know if the track, TJ, you could probably tell us a little better.
But it was very hot, first of all.
It seemed to me being that it was hotter than it was on Friday and Saturday.
Now, everybody's racing on the same track.
I'm saying I don't think we kept up with the track as well.
And I don't know that for sure, but I'm just saying.
Listen, I had to put on sunscreen.
It was that hot.
I didn't think I would have to, you know, in September.
But here it is.
I mean, it was hot.
They were sliding around out there.
And for whatever reason, we just didn't have.
You know, and a lot of people, this is a great question.
A lot of people say, well, you know, but you were pretty happy with the car of practice.
You know what?
This just goes down into one of the biggest mysteries I'll have when it comes to racing
and how a car will be a really good fast race car on Saturday and then not on Sunday.
Sunday, but whether it's temperature.
Regan Smith gave really good lessons on Twitter.
And he was talking about how these guys are in for a surprise on how tight this racetrack is.
It's a lot tighter than everybody expected it to be.
And he thinks that it actually even got more tight from Saturday to Sunday.
He says people are in for a rude awakening.
They're going to realize that they set their car up for it to not be as tight.
Well, maybe that had something to do with it.
I mean, the track conditions itself with the way it was hot, maybe that had.
something to do with why we missed.
What's the move of the team right now, given what's happened in the last few weeks,
the swoon that the team has been in, I guess, if you want to call it, or whatever you want to
call it, when you see Jeff Gordon running the way he's running right now, and you think
of all that this team has achieved in the last couple of years and all that they're capable
of, I'm sure there's a lot of frustration.
Dale Jr. said it.
I just go back and let him do the talking for the team for himself.
and he said right after the race,
he said,
you know,
we've got to find more speed.
We're not happy about this.
They're not going to sit there and go lose their minds about this.
I mean,
because, you know,
we're restarting first in points now.
Right.
And so that's what's so cool about this.
And I think that the way this format is,
we all do the format,
but until we live it,
do we really get to process how we're right back?
Nothing matters.
All you've got to do is put together a good three races.
Like, really?
thinking about a championship right now
should be the furthest thing from your mind
putting together the
three races left than this championship
that's exactly and you know
that's absolutely the mentality you've got to have
you do and Brad Kislauski
I thought said it best he was like
all the wins we've had mean nothing
they don't mean anything they don't mean anything
he's like yeah we've had a great year we know what we're capable
of you know five wins all those sort of things
it means nothing that's right it doesn't
mean we're going to do any better in Kansas
than Casey Kane
is going to do in Kansas.
And I think that's something that people need to wrap their heads around.
That's right.
Doesn't matter what Jeff Gordon did on Sunday or what Brad Kislauski has been doing or how great of a year
Dale Jr. said, I will tell you, some people may say, well, this isn't the best way to
determine the champions kind of fluky.
I really like it.
I do too.
And the reason why I like it is because it's a reward for an entire season that you've had.
Okay.
Dale Earnard Jr. at times during this season and this 88 team, to me, has been the best team in
NASCAR.
At times during the season, Kevin Harvick had the best car.
At times Jeff Gordon has had, the times Brad Kislauski has had, all those people get to recycle and have zero.
Brad Kislauski has been on a tear.
Gordon's been on a tear.
Well, Junior was on a tear earlier this year.
All of them start back at sea.
I really like that.
No, it's the same, it's a playoff format is all it is.
Yeah.
And, you know, the wins don't matter.
All that stuff doesn't matter.
The one thing that does matter is who's clicking on all cylinders right now.
And so you can say, okay, well, this is a team that's got it figured out.
We can say that about the Penske cars, for sure.
Joey did seem a bit off this weekend.
He was when he was running where we were running there, but he got, like I said,
you get a couple good resources.
You get around faster cars, your stuff goes faster.
Yeah, okay.
So, I mean, the next three races are what matters now.
Kansas, Charlotte, Talladega, good heavens, Talladega.
Who knows what's going to happen, and that's going to decide who gets to the next round?
That's going to be wild.
I'm going to tell you a quick story, though, Taylor.
Frustration, obviously.
Junior did his interviews on pit road.
We were walking to the motor coach.
And when you climb up the stairs out of the garage at Dover, you have to cross the horse track.
You know what I'm talking about?
And on that horse track, a lot of fans will sit there and they want autographs
and get the drivers as they go into the motorhome lot.
Well, Junior was signing, as he always does, and we were wrapped up, and he hopped on a golf cart,
and the golf cart started taking off.
But he noticed there was about an, I don't know, eight or nine-year-old kid who was
kind of lost in the shuffle, and Junior didn't see him at first,
and then the golf cart started pulling away, and he says,
hey, little man.
And he told Kenny to stop the golf cart.
He says, hey, little man.
And he hollered for him, and he told him to come over here.
And the kid, boy, his eyes lit up, and he comes running over there,
and he signs him his, you know, I think it was a credential or something.
And Junior signs, and he goes, who's your favorite driver, man?
Kid says, Carl.
As Junior says, all right, well, he goes, did I move up a few spots at least?
And he goes, maybe.
And we laughed about that.
Oh, my God, get Dale and our junior's autograph.
Well, who's your favorite driver?
Carl Edwards.
Yeah, yeah.
We cracked up.
I said that was a classic moment to kind of end that whole day.
So, yeah, that was fun.
That is hysterical.
You guys behaving yourselves on the road together?
Oh, man, it's been pretty fun.
PJ and I were going at the dinner.
Yeah.
Having a good time.
We went with Dale and Stevie Saturday night.
Yeah.
Kevin.
Kevin Mandarin, yeah, the engineer.
So I had a good time.
I told Kevin, I said, we were in the car ride going over there.
I said, Kevin, hey, give me something I can ask Stevie that will just completely knock him out of his chair.
Like about the car, like something you would never expect a PR guy to ask.
And then just, I want to like, I want him to lose it.
And so Kevin started laughing just at the thought of it.
And he says, all right, ask him, hey, Stevie, you know, I've been pouring over my notes over here.
do you think these high bleed shocks are really good for the velocities at Dover?
And so I did it.
I did it at the table.
And Steve, he was like, what the?
What the!
Are you kidding?
We just kind of lost it.
It was funny.
So I think that's going to be my thing.
I'm going to just try to find a question and see if I can actually throw them off their game a little bit
about how much I actually know about cars.
You're very good at that.
Yeah, yeah.
Fooling people, in other words, yeah.
All right, as we mentioned at the top of the show,

Dirtymoe radio, TJ.
All one word.
Yeah, TJ got it.
Really?
All one word.
I mean, I was throwing the microphone's guy in the world here.
I mean, I can pick up with people like that.
I understand.
I understand.
That's Amanda's trademark, you know.
We've got to keep it going.
All right.
At checkout is where you do that, by the way.
And you receive 20% off your purse.
Just go get yourself a pair today and take advantage of this limited time offer.
That's right.
TJ's shooting you a look.
Do we want to do reaction theater today?
Let's do it.
We're man.
Okay.
All right.
Oh, yeah.
We're going to need a hug.
We're going to need a hug.
This chase performance has been bad.
The last three races before the chase were bad.
After nine, top tens, and 11 races, they've got to find something out.
They've got to get something to go.
or we need to go ahead and move Greg Ives up, let him take the Tark Spot and start getting ready for next year.
Everybody's talking about positive mojo, they need to get some positive results on the track and then the shop.
Hell yeah.
Don't disagree with him.
I do disagree with the Greg Yves thing.
I don't disagree.
We need to be better than what we are.
Greg's got his own deal.
He's running for the championship already right now.
So if it's all the same, we just as soon he stick to that the rest of the year.
But then I do, I absolutely agree.
We actually have to get more speed in that car.
If you look at the last six, seven races, this has been the six and seven worst races we've had this year, you know, as a group.
You know, we would have top fives, you know, in a six, seven race span earlier in the year and in the middle of the year.
This is not, we're not clicking right now.
So we definitely have to get better.
Let's see what's next.
This is my first time calling in interaction theater.
Just got done watching the race at work.
My police dispatcher in California.
And I may or may not have avoided a couple of 911 calls.
in order to keep better taps in the race.
So what's more important?
I say junior nation.
Obviously a disappointing day, 18th, or whatever we finished, ain't where we need to be.
But I think we've got to look forward to points of reset next week.
We can't let these last couple weeks get to us.
We've got to learn from it.
And I know they are, and Steve and engineers and the crew.
I know you're going to get after it and get that 88 car back where it needs to be up front.
On to Kansas next week.
New chapter.
Points reset.
Let's go.
Hell yeah.
Yeah.
Should we apologize to anyone that called 911 in California?
Priorities, man.
Do not have a house fire during a race.
I've said that.
Do you have a garden hose?
Next one.
I need someone to tell me what the fuck is going on.
Dale Jr. Steve LaCardt, T.J. Majors,
the 88.
Even you, Taylor, Zah, and all you need to get your shit together.
This is unacceptable.
That's...
I'm going to angry.
Bye.
I was wondering, Taylor, what you were going to say about that.
I really appreciate him including me.
Absolutely.
That really means a lot.
And I'm going to tell you something.
I've always wanted to be part of the team.
I'm going to tell you something.
He's right.
You have not been bringing your A game to the racetrack.
In fact, you've not been bringing any game to the race track.
I haven't been coming to the race track.
I do.
I'm going to come to the Charlotte race.
And so then you can really hold me accountable.
I'll stand out there on the track.
No, he's upset.
Jeez, yeah.
Hey, listen.
Listen, we're both fans of NFL teams.
And both of our teams haven't really like to admit that right now.
Well, I wouldn't either.
I mean, the Dolphins beat the Raiders.
It's not like that's a, I don't know the Raiders still play in the NFL.
Well, you're a Dolphins fan?
Yeah.
Well, we beat the Dolphins.
Yeah, you've been embarrassed them the last two times you've played them.
My point, though, is both of us yelling at each other doesn't do any good
because we both never make the playoffs and don't do anything.
But you can understand his frustration.
That's how we feel as fans.
Yeah, I mean, trust me.
I mean, it definitely, you know, we don't enjoy running like that,
but it's just part of it, you know, and I mean, like I said earlier, I know going into Loud.
You know, normally we just somewhere we struggle, and luckily struggle for us is still,
most time when we struggle, it's like a eighth or ninth or tenth or something, you know.
And, you know, sometimes some things happen in the races and you get back there
and it's just hard to, it's hard to claw back up through it.
But luckily we ran good enough to qualify us for the next round,
which is really all you really want to do now.
You want to get to the next round, so obviously you want to win.
Sure.
And that's what we're trying to do.
But, you know, I knew going in a Loudoun Dover, we just needed to survive them, too.
So on to some places where we can be really competitive.
Do you call the Dolphin download and complain?
No, I don't.
No, I don't.
I don't know if that exists.
What do the bills have?
Like the Bill's bitching lines?
No, man, actually the Bill's Mafia.
They are really positive people, man.
They send me a T-shirt, too.
Bill's Mafia is actually a big deal.
I do know about that.
The Dolphins, I think, had more fans in London than they do at home games, so there's not really much I can say about that.
Let's go to the next one.
Well, it's probably not the greatest finish in the world today at over, but Dale, you drove a pretty good race anyway.
And I want everybody in Junior Nation to know you're either for Dale or you're against Dale.
There's no straddling a fence, one bad race, and everybody's bick them up and trying to run their mouth and say that he's not got what it takes.
But all of them, ediest, need to just shut up.
Dale Jr., an 88 team, you're going to be fine.
Just clean sleep.
Just keep on, keep them on.
And just don't change what you've been doing all year.
I've been great all year.
You know, just don't even think about it.
Just get up there and run good.
It'll get some wins.
Hell yeah.
Del, yeah.
I will say that if I may stick up for the fans that are unhappy right now,
because people are unhappy with the way the car was,
that doesn't mean they're not for Dell.
You know what I'm saying?
I mean, I don't think it's that cut and dry.
There's a lot of people for Dale that just, you know, they don't have to be happy
with a 17th place finish because Dale wasn't happy with a 17th place finish.
Nobody is.
I mean, I certainly didn't enjoy it.
It was a frustrating weekend.
There's no question.
Next one.
All right, listen, I've held off calling the first two weeks of the chase.
But come on.
I know you guys said be patient and all that and be logical.
But I am a fan.
That's short for Fanatic.
And I'm going to read the definition because Mike Davis, you're from Alabama, and you root for Alabama, so obviously you need the definition.
Wow.
Fanatic, a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal.
That means I don't want to hear about logic.
I don't want to hear about, let's just be patient and all that.
I don't want to hear about all the labor pains.
I just want to see the baby.
That baby being the Sprint Cup trophy, a.k.a.
Junior is in no shape to win that right now.
The car's not good.
Steve's not making the right calls.
Junior's not doing well on restarts.
Listen, I love Junior.
I want to see him win every freaking race.
But I'm a fan enough to know when Junior's not running good.
And he's not running good.
Come on, guys.
Quit defending him when he screws up.
And the team screws up.
I shouldn't say just him because this was a team effort, this amount of stinkage.
I mean, come on.
I'm creating new words here.
Get it together.
We slid through to the second round of the chase.
Great.
That's a good thing.
We made it through.
Now we have to step up the game, and it's not happening.
Hashtag eight beers, hashtag Dale yet.
I think.
Hashtag, hashtag be patient.
Be patient here.
Did you understand all that since you're from Alabama?
Yeah.
I think that people, they label Alabama fans as being quite fanatic, actually.
Probably.
I mean, we poison trees, don't we?
Yes.
A lot of stinkage in Alabama.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, just since you are from Alabama, Mike, I just want to make sure you understand.
Taylor, bring yourself right into this room over here, buddy.
No, no, no, I'm from Mobile.
No, that's lower Alabama.
We're down by the water, so we're different.
No.
You got the U.S.S.S.
Hey, what's the name of that battleship sitting right outside?
U.S. Alabama.
All right.
Case closed.
All right, what's the next one?
I really don't think if we don't win one of these races before we get to Talladega,
we're really going to be out of trying to get a championship this year.
I believe in my crew chief, but we've got to do something better.
Okay, I'm not sure I agree with that, but this actually raises a question.
Do you still think, now you were saying that before this chase started,
that it absolutely, you have to have wins to win the championship.
Do you still feel that way?
I don't.
Because if she's saying we have to have a win before we get to Talladega,
I don't think there's anything further from the truth.
In this format, without a win last,
year, Dale Earnardt Jr. would have won the championship.
If you tell me we'd go into the next two races and we were going to finish fifth
and both of them and go Talladega, I would take it right now and I'd even race till Talladega.
I mean, just the average, I mean, you've got to build a buffer.
I would say if you're one of the final four and you're in that last stretch,
then whoever wins those races are probably going to be the champion.
Yeah, I mean, that's actually...
But like up until then, I don't know that wins actually are at a premium.
I don't think we should sell the farm.
I don't think we should throw away at a 10th place finish at Kansas.
is for, you know, to go for a win.
What's next?
Hudd along me.
Hatt along me, boys.
Hell yeah.
We'll take any pep talk you can give us.
Love it.
Keep them coming.
Who's next?
What the hell is going on here, Mike Davis?
Going down to a lap.
My fantasy team got their ass kick.
Both of them.
My bear's lost to the Packers and worse.
I live in friggin' Wisconsin.
Do you want a beer count?
How about not enough?
Let's go get them next week, for Christ's sake.
What do?
You tell me.
I mean, why not bring out T.J. majors in that situation?
You know, yeah, why not?
I'm still waiting for my call.
From Tim Brock.
Yeah.
All right, well, we got a couple more.
Let's see if we got it.
Who's next?
Pardon my friends when they say this, but are you fucking kidding me?
That car was a piece of shit.
It's embarrassing.
It's a joke.
How do we go from having an amazing season, winning races,
consistently in the top five, top three, having fun,
And we get to the chase and we fall backwards.
We're in a slump.
Come on, guys.
We know you're better than this.
We know you can do it.
Come tomorrow, it's a brand new day.
Put your heads together, figure out what the problem is, and fix it.
If you guys don't get your act together, I'm sorry, Dale, but you can kiss your championship goodbye because it's over.
We've got to get this done, and we've got to get it done now, guys.
There you go.
Any response?
I just blame Travis James Majors.
Yeah.
Why not blame me, man?
I think there's a little, this could be overreaction theater.
Yeah.
Well, but you have to also.
I know what they're saying, but I mean, I know it's been a rough couple weeks,
but I just don't feel like there's any less motivation or a team.
You know, obviously they haven't played out exactly how we wanted them to,
but I don't notice any less motivation.
Nobody's working less.
Everyone's working hard.
I mean, we're not that we're walking around just happy with 17th,
but there's positive attitudes.
I'm 100% certain of what you just said that that's happening.
All I'm saying is the fans are frustrated because they want to win.
And when things aren't going well and you're nowhere close to winning, people get frustrated.
No matter what we're talking.
Yeah, it's understandable.
Yeah, I was frustrated that Bill's lost too.
That's all I'm saying.
That's all I'm saying.
But I know that we're already working on the next.
We're starting for the next team next week.
Who's next?
I can't tell you how fucking disappointed I am in the Chicago Bears in there.
Wait a second.
Just the Dale Jr. download.
I can't tell you.
I'll tell you how I'm excited I am.
The full horseman of Hendricks Motorsports made it to the second round of the chase.
Oh, yeah.
No beers.
Let's talk about Casey Kane just for a second.
I mean...
Talk about stress level.
He was done.
I mean, he was done.
Go ahead and get him a ticket home as far as that goes.
Wow, an incredible performance to come back.
What is he...
Obviously, we know who we want to win the championship, and we hope everything goes well.
Give the guy's prox.
What if he has a chance in Homestead?
I mean, think about how crazy...
The guy had to win one of the last couple of races to get into the chase.
He was, what did he get him by two points?
Right.
You know, I mean, it's insane.
And it was done on the edge.
It was done on Sunday.
Yeah.
Man, did he fall four laps down at one point?
Yeah, he was four.
It's four.
I remember hearing a radio transmission of three or four.
He wanted to pit again because he was so awful.
And Kenny Francis was like, you can't pit again.
If we get another caution, we are going to be so many laps down that you can't.
just have to ride this out.
Man, he clawed back. You have really trained me to
focus on the 88. I really
honestly have tried to stop focusing
on Harvick and Kane
and Kurt Busch and all this stuff.
Gordon, but
no, it was crazy kind of paying
some attention to that. All right, let's play one more.
I'm not sure what's more disappointing
the fact that we were so terrible all day
or the fact that Junior and Steve
with Tart thought we were going to be good on Twitter
the day before the race. They thought
we was going to have a good car. I think that's
ridiculous. These guys were out to lunch.
I shouldn't have curse, man. That's terrible.
I mean, you guys got to pull it together here.
We got a couple of racers left. You guys need to come up with something.
My goodness. I'm still sorry, I curse.
Shouldn't have done that. That was no good.
Love you, Jr. You are the man, buddy.
You are still the man, buddy.
All right. There you go.
It's okay.
Reaction Theater is open 24-7, and this week it is sponsored by Samsung Televisions.
If anybody would like to give me a Samsung television, feel free.
Find me on Twitter, Taylor Z Radio.
You're such a f***.
All you have to do is call toll free 1-855740-1902, and leave us your voicemail message.
And we'll play the best each week right here on Dirty Mo Radio.
Why are you looking at me like that, Amanda?
You want to John Deer Tractor?
I'll get you one.
We have been promising this for a while.
Wednesday, Amy Ryman is back.
She sits down with Kelly to preview the better half dash on Fast.
Lane family presented by Charlie.
So Friday, don't miss JRM 360.
The podcast is the best way to keep up with the latest happenings in the halls of junior
motorsports.
And on Mondays, we recap the full weekend with the junior motorsports nationwide and late model
teams and Dale Sprint Cup series run on the Monday recap presented by Spy.
Let's throw the white flag, Mr. Davis.
White flag right there, white flag.
All right, well, depending on when you're listening to this, we may be in North Carolina,
we may be in Memphis, Tennessee, we may be in Tallahassee, Florida, we may be in Kansas.
It's just a busy week, Taylor.
I'm telling you, man.
It starts with a visit to AutoZone Park in Memphis on behalf of our partner, Valvilline, Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, Dale Jr. is going to see the folks at Dale Earnhardt Jr. Chevrolet and Tallahassee.
You want me to put in a good word for you?
Well, there you go.
Yes, sir.
Might come back with a truck, Taylor.
Yeah.
While we're there, Dale Jr. will be handing over the keys of a 2014 Chevy Camaro to the lucky winner of the eBay Motor's Garage for Good Sweepstakes.
This was a really good campaign, by the way, T.J.
for eBay.
It helped raise money for the Dell Jr. Foundation as eBay donated a dollar to the dollar to the
Foundation for every person who signed up for eBay Garage during the campaign.
That came out to $25,000 or, as we've known as, T.J. salary per race to spot the 88
car.
Wow.
I wish.
On Thursday, we'll be doing some production work for Taxlayer.
This will be for the new advertising campaign.
And also to start telling you about the January 2nd Taxlayer.com Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida,
which Dale Jr. will attend for the fourth or fifth year in a row.
That's $900,000, T.J. makes per year, just in case you're interested.
Yeah, that sounds about right, actually.
Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to not work Monday through Thursday.
Why do you think I got married?
Why did you?
Is she making them to put her to work?
I'd like to thank the iPhone for giving me that calculator to do that math.
I knew you didn't do that in your head.
Then we're off to Kansas for a whole weekend of racing.
Dale Jr. won't be in the nationwide race, but Kevin Harvick, Regan Smith and Chase Elliott will.
Chase carries a 26-point lead over Regan Smith with just five races to go.
Saturday's race, the Kansas Lottery 300 will be at 3.30 p.m. Eastern, 2.30 p.m. Central on ESPN 2.
Sunday's Cup race, the Hollywood Casinos for 100, is set for 2 p.m. Eastern, 1 p.m. Central on ESPN.
If you're going, Dale Jr. will be making a pre-race appearance at the team Chevy stage at 1015.
That is free to charge for anyone who wants to attend.
And I actually have a special announcement that we just found out today that I want to go ahead and say here.
Amanda, do I have, you know, the green light to say this?
Oh, thumbs up.
There will be at Charlotte Motor Speedway next week.
That's next week, right?
Yes.
The number five, dirty-moe radio Chevrolet.
Is back again?
No, this time we're not sharing the car with anybody.
It's the dirty-moe radio Chevrolet.
In fact, it's this flat, black car right out there.
We don't have the decals on it yet.
You see it?
I got one for it.
Wow, that's really cool.
We've got, and guess who's the driver?
Taylor, Kirk Shummerdine.
Nope.
It's me.
I'd go ahead and let the cat out of the bag.
Nope.
Let me think.
Come on.
Tim Fidoa.
No.
No.
He's a spotter now.
Randy LaJoy.
Like all spotters, he used to be a driver.
Hank Parker Jr.
Oh, that'd be cool.
Andy Bowman.
I mean, Alex Bowman.
Andy couldn't be with us, so Alex Bowman's driving.
Who?
Who?
Alex Bowman.
Who?
You know it, baby.
Who?
Take her to the winner's circle.
It was awesome.
The Dirty Moe Radio Chevrolet driven by Alex Bowman.
Car looks good, man.
I mean, I don't mean this in the wrong way, but I hope this is a car for the woods.
Why would you say that?
Because it'd be cool to have a dirty-moor radio car in the woods.
That's true.
Just a paint scheme.
I hear you.
I mean that in the nicest way possible.
Maybe we'll go to the woods once it's done.
Maybe.
The Hall of Fame.
Hall of Fame.
For leading every lap.
Hall of Fame, four foot short.
Never been done before in Charlotte-Mast Speedway.
It's either going to go there for being awesome or four-foot shorter.
One of the other.
I'm excited about that.
So, yeah, Dirty Mall Radio Chevrolet.
Now you know who you're going to be pulling for in the nationwide race.
All right.
Anything else you'd like to say?
Any sponsors?
Anybody else you'd like to salute?
No, I'm not going to whore myself out this week.
Oh, you're not going to do that?
Hey, Taylor, you can start hoaring me out when it's time with my T-shirts.
No, you do a good enough job on your own.
You do that.
Yeah, that's fine.
Hey, I'm getting them this week, man.
I just want to salute Samsung, door bumper clear.
Do we get shirts?
Brady?
He says, yeah, if you buy it.
Doorbubber clear shirts.
Of course you exchange for money.
Grady white boats.
Does Amanda get a door bumper clear shirt?
Are you going to model it?
Wow.
I'm sorry, man.
It is time to go home now.
We'd like to thank all the reaction to the carlers.
Thanks to TJ Majors.
Thanks to Amanda Trump.
And thanks to Mike Davis.
Off the rails.
Thanks to Andy Bowman.
