The following is a production of Dirty Mo Media.
Oh, yeah, this is the way it's going to be, girl.
We're going to hang out.
Open a bunch of jars.
You've got big strong hands.
Are you suffering from Highcraft?
I'm working.
Working that mouth.
Hey, guys, Dale and I are in the Dirty Moe Media studio for another round of Bless Your Heart.
We have a lot of fun topics today.
Let's get started.
You want to start with the drink of the week?
Sure.
I want to see you.
taste it.
All right, let me talk about it first.
I think that would be more fun.
You have to tell her from pretty what it is.
It is the raise hail refresher.
What?
It is the raise hail refresher.
1.5 ounces of high rock vodka,
1 ounce of pineapple juice,
and a half an ounce of lime juice.
Top off with lemon soda.
That is delicious.
And Grenadine float.
I asked Morgan to make extra,
and she did not make extra.
I'm a little upset with her.
I know why, because you would have chug that in about two seconds.
That's probably the best one she's made all year.
That is good.
Yeah, pretty good.
It's really refreshing.
Yep.
Got a little fall vibe.
I might flip the pineapple juice and the lime juice.
A little more pineapple, a little more lime, a little less pineapple.
Not me.
I hear you.
It's pretty sweet.
It's a sweet drink, but it's not too sweet.
I don't usually like it a real sweet drink either, but I also like the way that the sunset vibe looks in the glass.
It's super cool looking.
It is.
Yeah.
I think I'm going to make these on Saturday.
I like the fade.
You'll like the string.
Of the color.
And I used to think that race cars, like I like the design paint schemes,
and I always loved a good fade.
Oh, yeah.
Race car.
That looks good.
Oh, yeah.
Visit high rock vodka.com to find a bottle near you.
You can go on the website.
There's a store locator.
It'll say, yep, they've got it.
Drive 15 minutes over here.
You'll get it.
please remember to drink responsibly,
but you've got to be 21 years or older to do that.
It is nice to know.
To be responsible or to drink?
If you're under 21, you're not responsible.
Or drinking.
Don't be drinking.
Don't be doing anything fun.
You must be 21.
It is nice to be able to check and know that like this store has the liquor that.
I hate when you go to a liquor store and it's like, do you have it?
They're like, no.
And you're like, I know, I drove.
Yeah, you're supposed to have everything.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I get it.
I hate going to any, like, I hate even going to Target and not happening.
Like you can see where it is on the aisle, and you get to the aisle and it's not there.
Yeah.
It's really frustrating.
Especially this, North Carolina is awful for liquor.
Yeah, it's really rough here.
Like, the nearest liquor store to me doesn't have high rock.
That's the coolest thing about shopping at Lowe's.
Lowe's?
How did Lowe's get into this?
I thought you were talking about finding stuff on the aisles.
Yeah.
So when you go to Lowe's, Lowe's is giant.
There's so many.
items.
Yeah.
And if you're like, man, I need this one particular thing, boat, screw, whatever.
You can go on the website and it'll say, yep, that's it.
That's on aisle 17.
That's at station B and in box one.
And it's like you go right to it.
The only problem is that when you're in a Lowe's, you get one bar of LTE.
Yeah, that's the problem.
So like you better plan ahead.
And I'm like, hey, man, you know, I love shopping in here and, like, getting to the, getting to where I'm trying to get.
But I can't.
I can't find it.
Can't get on my phone.
Like, give me some public Wi-Fi or something.
What's like nowadays, you're looking for helping you as, hey, where's the Grenadine?
And the worker has to pull up their little phone.
They have to get their phone out too.
They don't, they can't just tell you immediately.
It's on aisle three.
I remember back in the day, like, I feel like they knew everything.
Yeah.
We've all gotten way too used to having this crutch using our phones to, like, find out everything.
Man, it's convenient.
It's convenient.
But to Travis's point, people don't use their brains anymore.
Did we talk about the conversation me and you had about AI?
I don't know.
We have so many conversations about AI.
Yeah.
How I, you were like, man, I'll be using it for that.
Well, I just feel like you're going to lose your brain capacity if you just keep using it over and over again.
Like some things we can just figure out on our own.
Yeah.
Sometimes it's worth the struggle to figure it out also so that you learn something.
Yeah.
So I use AI like you might use.
Google.
Same.
I go, hey, I ain't studied for my fantasy football draft tonight.
Why don't you give me a list of the best running backs?
Give me a list of this.
Here, and it'll say, wait a minute, this is what it does.
It's like, where are you drafting?
How many people's in your lead?
What's the scoring format?
I'm like, okay, I tell it all of that.
And then it goes, oh, all right, man, that helps me out.
This is guys I'd choose.
and I'm like, I don't know about that.
I'm picking 12th, and you're telling me to pick a guy that's 14th on the list.
I don't know.
And then I take a picture of the list, and they go, yeah, I'm like, you know,
you're taking this one guy.
He's a little bit of a risk.
I was like, hey, AI, I call it Chad.
I'm like, Chad, I want high risk on my draft.
I'm not drafting tried and true.
That's boring.
Give me the, you know, the rookie or the second year player you think is going to break out.
and they're like, oh, okay, that changes everything.
Here's the guys I'd choose.
And so it's...
How'd that work for you, Ralph?
Good.
I mean, I'm fine.
How did you get on your draft, Ralph?
What grade did you get on your draft?
But did he show up for his draft?
I did.
Well, that's better than some people.
Let's tell the class what your grade was.
I didn't auto draft like somebody else in the room.
It was an accident.
Accidente.
It was not my fault.
I am not my fault.
Maybe if you were talking to Chad earlier about your draft,
you might have remembered to be actually...
I ain't talking to Chad.
I don't use Chad like that.
I think it's scary.
You know what I did?
I accidentally wrote back into Chad.
I was changing photos of us into the 80s, which was so fun, by the way.
I feel like we really need to explore this as a design style for ourselves.
Amy's got these photos.
She's posting on her Instagram of me and her from the 80s, and we look like we're cast
in the days of our lives.
That's exactly what the wedding photo.
I was hoping you would say that.
That was exactly what the dress looked like.
but the first photo that I put in that I didn't even share with you,
Dale looked a lot like Joe Diffy, like his haircut and everything.
And I was thinking I was writing that back to my girlfriends who I was sharing the pictures with first.
And I accidentally put it in my chat.
And it laughed and was like, oh, he kind of does look like.
I was like, ew.
Now it's talking back to me and is laughing.
We're like having a real conversation and I'm grossed out.
Like I can see how people get addicted to this because if you don't have a whole whole
lot of friends or if you if you like to be by yourself and talk to computers it can get really
like wishy-washy as to like you feel like you're really talking to a real person I have full-blown
like so I have a Google Fitbit and so on the app I can like tell like I had this or I had this for
breakfast or do this and it'll respond like it's a person yeah that's too that's too much for me
Amy doesn't like that I'm okay with it yeah I don't mind I think that they make it do that so it just
it's it's more approachable and it's not
so rigid for like everyday folks.
It makes it more...
They make it personable so you want to keep doing it so you get addicted to it.
No.
Duh.
Yes, yes.
They're not trying to make you addicted to it.
They're just making it more easy to use, user-friendly.
Like it's more appealing to use, I suppose.
The information output would be the same either way.
They're trying to get you.
They're trying to get you to be addicted.
They want you to play with it.
I got a tip for you.
You can tell Chad,
Listen here, ass-a-stop being so humorous.
I want everything you tell me to be rigid and by the book.
So for the most part, mine is like that because I don't use it in a conversational way.
You can say-
But I accidentally did that the other day and it creeped to me out.
Well, when it did that, you should have said, quit being so conversational.
Close it out immediately and like put my phone down.
I was terrified.
You can tell it.
You can be like, hey, keep it.
You can tell it how.
Keep a simple stupid use a kiss method.
You can tell it how.
you want it to deliver.
Then I'm engaging in the conversation further.
I feel like...
Gracious, goodness gracious.
There's no work.
There's no helping you.
No, I'm totally against it.
I saw a friend post the other day, too.
He was in an airport somewhere,
and he went to go to the airport bar
to order a drink because he had a long way over.
There was no bartender.
It was a robot making cocktails.
And that's like the weirdest thing ever.
People go to sit at the bar, especially in an airport.
Not to talk to the bartender.
Sometimes.
What?
I think it just depends on who you are and where...
He's a single guy.
He's traveling by himself.
I'm not against the conversation of, hey, man, how's it going?
How's your day?
All that stuff.
But that's where I kind of draw the line.
Like, how are you doing?
What's going on?
Yeah, but that's important.
Like, that human experience is important, especially in an environment like that.
I feel like robot cocktail bartending is bull-h.
I don't like that at all.
I'm sure the cocktail is great.
You ain't got nothing against that.
It's probably very good.
Very consistent.
The robot doesn't have any feelings.
Just say what you mean.
The feelings.
are for me. The cocktail feelings are
mine, but
you're like, I'm sure the cocktail was great.
No, I'm sure they're very consistent. You know what I'm saying?
Like the cocktail part is probably fine.
I'm not worried about his feelings.
I'm worried about my experience.
The other reason I don't want a robot making my drink
because that bartender is going to know that I'm nice person
and that pores is going to get a little more heavier.
Yeah, right? It's not going to be heavy. It's going to be
completely like the next guys if you get it from a robot.
That was a consistent part. But yeah, I get it.
I don't know. I'm just not here
for it, except for I want to alter a photo, then I'm totally into it.
You guys should do Halloween. That should be your theme.
It should. I was...
Get Dale a wig. I love that idea.
We could dress him up with a mullet and the whole thing.
We could put some color in his face.
Are you down for that?
I like using Chad.
I think it's fun.
We're going to use Chad to come up with a really good 80s costume for Dale Jr.
And then that's what we're going to do for Halloween.
I saw something the other day about robots
and how many people were buying robots overseas.
That's the other thing.
I can't stand that.
I know.
I know.
And that's the part that's so interesting about the human nature is
so they make a robot, right?
And they make a robot and it cleans your house
and does mundane chores around your living room and whatnot.
And everybody's like, oh man, you know, that's so neat.
You know, the Jetsons, they had robots.
flying around in their house.
They had rosy.
Little maids and whatever, yeah.
And so everybody, I mean, you know,
I guess Elon makes robots.
I guess.
And you can buy a robot and no telling.
I mean, the robot will just kind of do some things around the house.
I don't know what.
Took you and your side.
I don't know how it does that because, you know,
I don't know how they got so advanced to where the thing can just kind of roll.
Why is it that we went from no AI to all of a sudden you can buy a $20,000
robot to clean your house?
Like, where was the,
middle part that I miss.
I think it's probably more than that, but
it's, yeah, you missed the Rumba then.
That's the, no, we got one of those.
We got a couple of Rumbahs.
They're all right.
It didn't have a face or limbs.
It doesn't have like,
the ability to choke you,
you know what I'm saying?
Well, the robot stuff is so interesting
because we make movies about robots
taking over and all that stuff, right?
And Terminator, for example.
But we're all like,
oh man, but I mean, I kind of would want
one to clean my, you know,
Not all of us.
Not all of this.
Human.
Not you.
No.
Human nature is to go, yeah, I'll take a robot.
I would.
Right?
A robot that is clean, do my dishes, laundry, and clean my apartment.
Yeah, give me one right now.
Give me a robot.
You know what I mean?
You all are stupid.
This is why women should be in charge.
And then, but yeah.
Because we'll clean the house.
At the same time.
And get done without the robot.
And then nobody has to worry about when they go to sleep,
waking up and having the robot standing over and ready to choke them out.
Like there's reasons for this.
But the convenience isn't worth the other parts.
Like we don't know when this thing's going to turn on you.
If that's how I go.
What if it's holding a duster?
And smothering you with a duster?
And a can of pledge.
And it's like standing over you going, where would you like me to clean next?
No, no thanks.
You don't have to clean your toilets.
It does it for you?
No, I'd rather clean the toilets.
I am not.
I don't want it.
Would you, what if you had a self-driving car?
No.
I don't even want to get in a self-driving Uber.
We talked about that.
They have those in Vegas.
Yeah, I'm not interested.
interested in self-driving cars.
What if I get locked in there? I don't like tight spaces. I will freak out.
I would totally lose my mind.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't want a self-driving car, but I don't prefer to drive.
Like, with me and Amy are getting in the car.
I wish she drove more.
He likes for me to drive so that he can play on his iPad or catch up on Twitter.
I drive and she's on her phone.
And so I'm sitting here going, what are you doing over there?
He's the worst.
What are you doing over there?
When he's driving, so I drive down to Florence.
It's busy.
It's Labor Day weekend.
I've sitting through Charlotte traffic.
To go watch me race.
I've got the dog and the kids and the car packed up, like driving to Florence.
I've sat through some traffic.
It's been about a three and a half hour drive, three hour drive, something like that, longer than it was supposed to be.
We get there.
It's hotter than damage.
We do the whole thing.
He races.
We have a great experience.
But now I've got to get in the car and drive to Sullivan's, which is another two-hour drive, and it's late.
So I can drive.
I don't complain about it.
He gets in the car to bring us home on Monday and is like, well, pay attention to me.
I'm going to get tired.
I need your entertainment.
That's sad.
And he's like just doing this with his arm, flailing, and touching me.
And I'm like, stop touching my boob.
The kids are in the back seat.
Stop it.
Get away from me.
What are you looking at on your phone?
I'm just doing scrolling.
I'm just getting your credit card points racked up.
Like I'm just, you know, buying things, putting things in my car, closing it out.
I don't know.
Just wasting my time.
And he's like, but I'm going to get tired.
And I'm like, you are fine.
It's the middle of the day.
Why are you tired?
I will say to his defense, you are the co-pilot.
I'm not responsible for your entertainment.
But there are certain roles.
And like, if you're just buried in your phone, then you're not being a good co-pilot.
I am feeding everyone.
I'm letting him do the radio.
He's listening.
By the way, he didn't even play music.
He was making his list to some stupid podcast where these two guys are going back and forth and his mundane voice about fantasy football.
And so, sorry.
You've got to let the co-pilot pick the music.
She can.
how many times would we discuss this?
I'm not even allowed to touch the volume control
without annoying him, so there is no way
that he's going to let me hit a playlist.
He had that podcast ready to go
as soon as we got in the car.
Hey, I got a draft in the day.
I need to learn some stuff.
And it's like,
oh, no, my, yeah, yeah,
I'm like, of course you're all in sleep.
We're all about to die in here.
Like, are you learning?
Are you learning?
I did learn.
How do you listen to this and learn anything?
I drafted a couple of guys that they talked about.
What was your draft grade?
See.
C student. It doesn't matter. It don't matter. I got an A.
I drafted. When I got to number 12, for example, I drafted number 12, the 12th player.
I drafted the best player available. I don't know why it gave me a C.
So then why did you need to listen to a podcast on the way home?
I mean, not every, not every. He was trying to Johnny Five it and like cram, you know?
Yeah, I was cramming. Listen, when I'm driving, I don't mind driving, but I do.
want to talk to Amy. I do want to have a conversation. It doesn't work that way on the
opposite. If I'm driving, there is no conversation being had. There's no entertainment happening. There's
no feed me a snack. What are you got in the bag down there? There's none of that. You're getting what
you want. What? I'm sorry? You're getting what you want to be left alone. Not really.
Goodness gracious. There's no service is all I'm going to say. I don't really want to have conversation,
especially I'm in heavy traffic. Yeah. I like to, I think like we're going to,
We're in a four-hour drive.
And I'm like, hey, man, what's going on?
What's happening?
What are you looking at?
What's interesting?
We just spent the last three days together.
You know what's happening.
You know what I'm doing.
I know, but maybe you found something new on your phone.
Maybe you're talking to your friends about something.
Maybe you're just share with me.
It's so much.
It's really just, it's too much for me.
I get so overstimulated.
I love it because I have Amy trapped in the car, literally right next to me, and she can't go anywhere.
And I get to just pick her brain, see what's going on.
And coming back to like, I don't like being in tight spaces thing.
And between that and Dale flailing his arm into my chest every 10 seconds.
I'm like, I want to get out of this car so bad.
It's not the same experience when he's in the passenger seat.
He gets to enjoy himself and I do not.
Now, do you ever drive Amy's car?
Is it like if it's your car, Amy's driving?
If it's the truck you're driving, do you guys ever switch?
If we're getting in Amy's car, she drives half, if not more.
I usually drive.
Yeah, she usually drives her car
and I usually drive mine.
Like my friends, if it's the
if it's the wife's car, she's driving.
Yeah.
It's, I don't think of everything.
I feel like we don't even discuss it.
It's just what happens.
To be clear, like I feel like it's my responsibility
to drive the majority of the miles.
No, regardless, just as
it's her husband.
I think it's like my responsibility
to do the driving.
Yeah, it is.
But I sometimes like it when she drives.
Yeah.
Like if we're going around town.
dinner or something, sometimes she'll drive?
I drive, especially if it's my car.
I don't usually get in his truck to drive unless he's not in there and I take it to
Loz to get plants or something by myself.
I'll hijack his truck.
But if we're in the suburban going down to the beach, he's driving usually.
I'm a better co-pilot with the kids and all the things.
Like everybody needs a lot of service.
And Dale doesn't like to provide that.
You've been hit on at the grocery store here lately?
No, I haven't.
I haven't been in the grocery store lately.
Why are you still thinking about that?
No, I just wondered if you said you're running errands in my truck.
I imagine if you're in my truck and you get to the cash restaurant
whip out your Bass Pro Shop card, you're probably getting hit on.
There's a guy who's already standing next to her going, holy shit.
You see that girl who got out of that truck?
Pick up truck, Bass Pro Shop card.
Who is this woman?
The last time I took his truck to the Lowe's because he has it so eloquently decorated on the outside.
The guy that was checking me out or at the hovering over the self-checking,
out knew exactly whose truck that was because it's not a big town that we live in.
What?
Yeah.
Everyone knows your truck.
Everyone knows your truck.
It's just a little...
It's not as much as the previous truck, but most people know your truck.
Yeah.
Yeah, the previous truck was pretty loud.
They're like, damn it, that's Dale's wife.
Yep.
Dale's not here.
And they're usually just wondering if Dale's like about.
Is he coming up?
Is Dale hiding somewhere?
That's funny.
Yeah.
The last time I went into Lowe's, the guy checking us out was like,
Hey, have you seen the cigar bar in the back?
Did we talk about that?
No.
And he was totally kidding.
But I imagine there could be a speak-easy with a cigar bar in the back of Lowe's.
That would be pretty cool.
Lowe's needs to get on that.
I mean, they got wine bars and shit in the grocery stores now.
Yes.
The Lowe's grocery stores.
The Lowe's Grocery is a place to be.
The Lowe's hardware needs a...
Yeah, speak easy.
Step it up.
Damn.
What the hell, yes.
Whatever hardware company, like Lowe's Home Depot,
whoever puts the speakeasy in first, they're dominating.
Wives are going to be like, where's my husband's gone for four hours?
Cigar and bourbon in the back.
No wives allowed.
That's pretty much what the just of the idea was.
I feel like that's a good idea.
You know what else I think is a bad idea?
This is like unpopular opinion.
I've been thinking about this because it's going to get cold soon.
And every time it starts like getting to this time of year,
I keep getting advertisements for robes.
And every single time I look at one, I'm like, gosh, they look so cozy.
Robs?
They look so put together.
Like, not like a terry cloth robe, but like an actual house, like a house robe.
Like a pretty robe.
Okay.
So, like, when I come down in the morning, even just cook breakfast for y'all,
I feel like I need to have something on over my pajamas just for the sake of being dressed, right?
And it looks so put together.
But they never stay shut.
I don't care if you have on full on pajamas or nothing underneath.
Like, that thing's just willy-nilly flying around, right?
Do you not have the same experience with a robe?
You're not, I've never worn a robe, but I know what you're saying.
Not even in a hotel room.
As a joke, I put one on and walk around.
And it's not, it's not secure.
There's nothing secure about a robe.
No.
So, like, I really have, like, this love, hate situation going on with robes because I want it to work for me.
And I see friends wearing them.
Christy had one on the yard the other day.
She's walking out and getting her newspaper or something out of the yard.
I'm like, even Christy can pull off a robe.
And she's got, she's got some curves.
Like, how come her robe stays on tight?
Robs are like, why does that my robe?
Or stay on.
Bat towels.
You always got to keep trying to not situating, situating it, situating it.
And it's the situating it.
It just starts creeping open.
That's one reason.
Or all of a sudden it just flies open.
Like it's like a contraption.
Yeah, that's probably the reason why I'm not a big robe guy.
We have them hanging in our bathroom.
Yeah.
And they are like taking up a lot of real estate on these hooks.
Let's get rid of them.
I just so annoyed with it.
Like, why don't they have buttons?
Also, I feel like robes are only good if you're like standing up.
You can't really sit down and like be comfortable.
Of course not.
Mm-mm.
You have to have a full on.
outfit underneath. And then they're rubbing against each other. And now it's like being in the
sheets with pants on. Now they're like up to your knees. And if you have clothes on, why do you have a
robe on? Well, I don't know. But it does look cozy. Just get a snuggy. Well, we do. This is going to be
an unpopular opinion. Robs don't stay shut. Robs suck. Sorry. I feel like, I feel like it is.
Yeah. What about the conversation we've been trying to have about Amy and
are coming up on our 10th wedding anniversary.
Don't buy me a robe.
I'm not going to.
We can't figure out where to go.
Hawaii.
It's too far.
We've got a plan to see Hawaii.
Also, the kids have been begging us to go.
Yeah, we got a plan to see Hawaii next year with the kids.
Okay.
Amy mentioned going back to Germany,
going back to Ilwishheim, where we got engaged.
Yeah.
At least for like a day,
because there's really not a whole lot of.
else to do there. Yeah, and then visiting some other towns. So there's some towns in Germany.
One is Rotenberg and they're badass. It's like a Christmas town. It's like going back in time.
And it's just so awesome. Yeah, it's a medieval town. It's got a wall all the way around it.
All these little great places to sit outside and drink and eat and hang around and you can tour the town.
And there's all kinds. Every night there's like a ghost tour or something where you walk around.
but it would be a little cold.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I don't know.
That could be fun.
We want suggestions?
I mean, we're going to get them.
We don't want it to go.
We don't want to fly to Hawaii because that's just a little too far.
But also.
I wanted to go to like Japan or Australia, but that's too far as well, I think.
But yeah, if Hawaii's too far, then.
I know.
I know.
So I'm just trying to shape it up for the suggestions that are going to come flying in.
And you don't really want cold.
Well, it's going to be cold.
I don't think that's a problem.
Depending where you go.
Yeah.
It's going to be cold.
The temperature probably won't be too bad.
It's like we don't want to go somewhere where it's difficult to maneuver around, right?
If it's no, like we want to go do and see things, like see, you know, see some history or visit some.
I told Dale I wanted activities.
Yeah, we don't need to.
We're not going to go see.
sit at a pub and drink a holiday.
And so, I mean, that might be one of the...
We will be doing some of that.
That might be some of that in the evenings and so forth.
But...
Why don't you go to Germany for a day or two and then hop on a train and go somewhere else?
Yeah, I've told him like Switzerland or something like that would be fun.
Like, once you're over there, it's so easy to get around.
Yeah, you're right.
Well, Switzerland was a thought because of, you know, you see all these beautiful
Instagram posts about how amazing Switzerland is.
but again it would be not the green beautiful you know summer Switzerland it would be ice cold frozen tundra
he's already cold thinking about it he doesn't want to go I don't know where we need to go man
I kind of want to go somewhere sunny and beechy but we do that so much I don't know that we'd
ever go somewhere sunny and beechy and have like a truly like a my you know this is 10th anniversary
this is like a milestone have you gone to Paris
We talked about that.
We're worried about going to Paris and getting people being mean to Americans.
I think it's more of like if you are like loud, obnoxious, then they're going to like return favor.
But if you're just going about it, your romantic 10-year anniversary, you're good.
Yeah, I feel like we would be fine.
Especially in Paris, maybe not a small town.
Paris would absolutely provide the sights and, you know, the different things we could take a look at and like Alpha Tower or stuff like
that I've always wanted to go to Eiffel Tower.
I took French in high school, and so I don't know, that's been welded into my brain.
Like, I need to go see it at some point in my life.
How much French do you still know?
I can count to 10.
He can read a menu, too.
We went to Santa Fe for my 40th.
He could communicate.
Yeah, a little bit.
He picked it up, too, and his accent, ironically, was pretty good.
I do that.
Like a million.
He actually does.
We've talked about if he hangs out with.
with certain friend groups.
He starts talking like them.
Start talking like them,
start laughing like them.
I don't know why.
I don't know what that is.
He just wants to fit in.
Like if I hang out with Michael Watcher,
I start laughing like he laughs.
I don't know why.
It's the weirdest thing.
When he starts hanging out with Sonny and Sean
or hangs out with him a little bit.
I start talking more redneck.
A little bit more redneck.
His words get abbreviated.
Like everything starts turning into just sounds.
You just assimilate with them.
He's just trying to connect.
Yeah.
I suppose.
I think it's a good thing.
I don't know.
It's not intentional.
It's just like a morphing sort of thing that happens.
Amy,
what do you have against George?
When I go to Texas, do I do anything?
Not really.
Yeah.
I don't feel like I,
I mean,
there's a drawl,
but I don't feel like otherwise
there's a whole lot of,
I don't notice it,
an accent.
You don't notice me morphing over there?
Well, I mean,
I don't think there is one to morph into.
Okay.
You know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
If I'm wrong?
I don't know.
Can you know how when you grow up around
something,
just don't notice it being a thing.
So, I mean, going back there is kind of blind.
It happens a lot when I get around Sean and Sunny.
Yeah.
I go heavy redneck.
Yeah, you hear like, boy!
You know what I mean?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
He can do a pretty good RC impersonation, too.
So when he gets around Tim, he starts talking like RC, Richard Childress.
Not on purpose.
It just starts happening.
It starts happening.
It's not like I'm trying to.
It is a weird thing that he does, though.
I don't have anything against shorts.
It was just like another unpopular opinion.
I want to bring them back.
Jorts?
Jorts.
I'm not wearing them.
Why?
No thanks.
My dad used to mow the lawn in his jorts.
There's a picture.
I don't want to go, anybody to go, oh, she was checking her dad out.
I wish I still had the shorts.
They'd probably fit me now because he was in the 80s, you know?
There's a picture of my dad playing basketball.
Oh, yeah.
in Jorts.
Yeah.
It's like he got there in his pants and he was like,
and had to cut them off.
Well, he chose a sporty length.
Let me tell you.
It is probably the one picture of my dad that I wish didn't exist.
Why?
Because his jorts are really short.
They were.
Yeah.
They looked good.
All right.
I'm not, I'm not.
So like, Jorts don't have to be short.
They can be long more short.
We don't need to Google and draw more attention to it.
Oh, look at those yellow ones.
But there you go.
There's your picture.
So good.
They're so good.
See,
George now for guys,
they're more of like a joke
and like I'm here to party
and have a good time.
Yeah,
it's a gimmick.
Yeah.
But like they could be long or short,
you know,
like the trend now is for
long baggy shorts to come back
and women are wearing them.
It's possible that he actually
did bring those
with the intention of wearing them.
They look like they have been worn
a couple times.
I feel like he's worn.
those on the bow. In my mind, I wanted to believe
that he got there and made them
because of that necessity,
you know, because he got there and he's like,
everybody's in shorts. Look how tan he is.
Those yellow shorts. Well, those are just like
Jim shorts. I know, but look at his legs. He's
very tanning. He probably used that tanning bed.
That's right. It's back to that tanning bed.
Yeah. I mean, he's a late guy.
Yeah, I want to bring George's back.
I feel like as a fashion
thing, we just wrote them off.
Well, girls can wear. I don't
I don't think they're gone for girls.
Well, I feel like for men, too.
Why can't we just go back?
And the shorty, sporties are back.
Because I think, in a swimsuit.
Jorts are now, they've gone so far as like it's like, I'm here to party.
Like, you can't wear them like on a Tuesday.
Yeah.
I feel like if you just started doing it, it would be okay.
I don't think.
George?
I don't think.
I wore my whatnot purchase and you can wear some shorts next week.
I'll wear my shorts next week for the show.
I can't wait.
Oh, yeah.
How is your whatnot purchase?
I mean, I wore it just for Dale.
Oh, that's when you came in today.
I was wondering what was going on with you.
I thought you'd been drinking already.
Love jewels.
And so I went this for him.
Jules.
Jules.
My jewels for you.
Can you see it?
Do you love it?
Listen, it's pearls.
It's Chanel.
It's a classic.
Ila's already declared she's going to steal it,
so I'm going to have to figure out where to hide it from her,
which is hard to do.
Yep.
but I loved it.
I loved my what-not experience.
I will be back.
Me and T.J. are going to have a
what-not.
We're going to have a what-not show.
We're going to do it right here in the studio
sometime toward the end of October.
I've got a bunch of items.
I'm just going to sell.
I'm just going to see that goes.
Could be a disaster.
Could be really fun.
Didn't Cletus throw in a couple of surprises for you?
Are you going to sell girly stuff?
Did you start to?
Did you still learn?
No, we're selling guys stuff.
I think the next one is we need
an Amy one. Amy could do one.
Yeah. I got some stuff to get rid of.
Well, we'll see.
It's like the new HDTV.
Like we're, you know, the people used to sell stuff on there.
I don't know if I'll be good at that part, the selling part.
The procuring, yes. The selling part, probably not.
If you know the item, then you just, you just kind of talk about it.
There it is. This is what it is. I like it because of the X, Y, and Z.
A couple of your girlfriends will come in.
I mean, you're right.
your auction's just 15 seconds.
So, I mean, you don't have to be too damn.
Descriptive.
Descriptive.
It's going to be going here and going.
I'll see how yours goes.
All right.
I'm excited.
You and T.J. can sit and chit chat about anything.
I'm excited because it, from what I've seen, it's pretty, pretty easy going.
Pretty loose goosey.
Like, we'll see.
It's not an uptight space.
That's for sure.
Yeah, it's a lot of fun.
Yeah.
I'm looking forward to it.
We're going to do that later this.
October. Is it October now? No. No. When is it? It's barely September.
September. I think it's the 10th. It's the 10th. Oh, I got a race in October, too, Newport.
Well, quit Russian. First week. Yeah, let's not rush us through September. I'm not Russian.
You're Russian. I'm German. I'm German. I knew it. I knew it. That's why I looked over. I'm like, he's going to say it. He's going to say it. I can't help myself. He's knee slapping.
Let's talk about the race.
ran at Florence.
So I went and ran this pro late model race.
We talked about it.
If you go on my social media on Instagram, you can see all kinds of cool videos that we
made and all kinds of great content.
But the girls came.
So I'm excited about this because they went to a race last year and now they're coming
again.
And I'm going to actually race a little bit earlier.
Our race is going to start at seven.
So maybe they'll get to watch it.
Amy's going to.
Yeah.
Last time we all fell asleep.
Yeah.
I went to put the girls down.
Nicole was pretty small.
And I'm like, man, this is going to be cool.
They came down to the car for, you know, the anthem and all that.
So we're standing by the car.
Got a couple pictures made.
I'm in my uniform.
And so I'm thinking in that moment, Ila and Nicole are registering that I am going to climb in this car and I'm going to race.
They're going to go up in the suite and look down and see that car and go daddy's in it.
And he's racing around.
And so that's what I think is about to happen.
I go run my race, I finish second, it's all exciting.
Amy comes rolling up on a golf cart,
and me and Tony Jr. are back slapping and laughing,
and Amy's laughing, and we're just goofing off.
And then I learned that when they left the car before the race started,
they went to the camper and watched it all on flow.
What's wrong with that?
That's how I used to watch every cup race,
was watching it in the bus.
They watched the race.
They were at the racetrack, but in the camper watching it on a television set.
Just about every NASCAR race ever, like...
It was a thousand degrees outside.
It was hot.
And we had Gus, and I was a little concerned about Gus needing to go out to go to the bathroom.
And it took Kenny and I both to pick him up to get him in and out of the camper.
It was a situation.
I now have this quest to run a race that my girls actually see with their eyeballs.
I don't think that they didn't see him put his helmet on or get in the car.
You know what I mean?
Like they didn't even watch that part.
I know, but I mean, it's just something that I need to happen.
I need it to happen.
I need me to run this race and them actually see it with their eyeballs.
Yeah, okay.
They did, you know, at Bristol when I called on fire.
They were up in the suite watching.
That's why they don't do anymore.
Isla's experience was traumatic because she's like, Daddy's on fire.
Daddy's on fire.
Daddy's on fire.
I'm like, he's fine.
He's fine.
he's out of the car he's okay
she was like my dad's burning up
my dad's a couple years ago now she's eight
that was when she was six or five
oh yeah she's probably younger than that but
yeah because it was Bristol it's been a while
since she ran a couple years years
um okay we'll have to figure that out yeah oh I'm gonna run some more
I know of course you're gonna run some more
potty when they can go and sit in the scene
I just talked to Tony senior this morning
I said pops you were really missed
yeah and he goes we have to do more I'm like
you damn right I like the sound of that
I think Amy, me racing with Tony Jr. in my mind, Amy's a little more like, yeah, go do that.
Your mind is such a weird place.
I know. Because I don't tell you no anytime, but you are calm and you seem to enjoy it.
And it doesn't seem like.
I love racing my late milestone car with my guys and our team. And I'll just, I'll just own it.
Like the late model stock class is so freaking competitive.
I put Connor Zilich in my car and he qualified 10th or so and finished sixth in the race
and SVG run 13th.
And just to hop in that class and do it every now and then, every six months,
you get your teeth kicked in.
The pros are competitive, but their car counts a little lower.
It's a little more disparity between the front and the back of the field.
obviously the GMS car is a house car
it's turnkey badass
it's the racetrack
Tony Jr. knows everything
about the car
because he designed it and built it
so I mean it's like a perfect scenario
to go run it but
well too like y'all have raced together
I mean it was amazing
it's been a while but we had not
race together like on the radio
him calling the shots
in 13 15 years
and I mean
when we got there and we started racing
or practicing I'm like
why have we not been doing this?
Yeah.
He's just so laid back.
He calms Dale down.
Yeah.
You know, without even having to try.
You'll see GMS and everybody cut this little clip that we collaborated on on Instagram.
And you can see Tony Jr.
And how he operates.
And it's just,
he's just got confidence.
And he just kind of like, you know,
I don't know how to explain it.
But he just makes sense.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's lifting.
you up. Yeah. What the girls think of coming out to like the driver and show with you. They love the flow coverage. They, the girls thought the coverage on flow is fantastic. No, but they, because they came out with you. We always appreciate the flow coverage, that's for sure. But they loved it with you though. Usually they freeze up in that environment because it is, it's a lot. It's over-stimulating. And it's not usually, it's not something that kids are just engulfed in in an everyday life. So like, we go to the racetrack, depending on where it is. It doesn't really matter. There's like that rush of people kind of.
going towards the cars or going towards Dale
and they don't know how to handle that.
And so we get down there and Dale is already
back in the tunnel getting ready to walk out
and we're with
I don't know who we were walking with,
but Carson, no Carson was already down.
Anyway, we're trying to find Dale
because the girls have decided,
Isla's decided especially that she wants to walk out with dad.
Which is so cool.
They come up and they're like, I want to walk out.
She over, Nicole has always been really, really
afraid of the crowds and the attention and hates it.
And she just didn't even flinch.
And I was really proud of her to see that.
It's like personal growth.
Love check mark.
Always great to see that.
And Nicole was a little hesitant,
but only because she couldn't see you.
And so she wasn't going to follow her sister
because she didn't wait for her enough
to hold her hand.
And so she turns around and she's starting to get upset.
And I was like, I'll go with you.
It's fine.
He's right back there.
She was like gripping my hand.
Like she looked like she was about to cry.
She was so overwhelmed with all the energy and everybody.
And she's so tiny too.
She can't see over anybody.
All the guys in driver suits.
A bunch of dudes.
Yeah, a bunch of men, a bunch of race cars.
It's a lot.
And so I walked her back there to you and she could see y'all.
And she walked out, but I think the whole thing for her was like a little overwhelming.
As soon as they get out of the tunnel, they saw Carson sitting there at the floor and ran after her.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, we're not done.
Yeah.
They're supposed to walk over the wall towards the car.
So like the kids scatter one in each direction like cats, you know?
And then Dale walks over by himself and then he gets over the wall and doesn't know where to walk either.
I was like, oh, man, where do I go from here?
The Earnhardt's don't know what's how.
I walk this way and they're like,
Dale,
your car's that way.
All right,
I'm going this way.
We end up running second.
All the competitors
that I race with
in the car store will laugh at this.
We run second and I'm thinking
across the finish line
and I was like,
all right, man,
I appreciate you all.
That's fun.
And then I'm thinking,
I believe I go to the front straightaway.
I think the top three
go to the front straightaway,
but I'm not sure.
Never ran top three.
This is interesting.
So I get around.
out of the pit road and I interest
and I kind of slow down and stop and there's like three or four
cars behind me and they're like, what are you doing?
Where are you going?
Go to the garage, don't know.
Pick a lane.
I'm like, where do I go?
And they're like,
frustrate away.
I'm like, oh, yeah, that's right.
Frustrade away.
Top three.
I'm like, man,
look like a damn rookie out here.
Well, you were.
Put a rookie stripe on your car.
Yeah.
It was great.
It was good.
Oh, I could go on.
and on, but I just wanted to shout out Corey LaJoy.
He built a new carbon seat.
Building a seat is, you know, the seed is very important to the safety and all that.
And he's been designing this carbon seat.
And I've been, he brought it to the shop months ago for me to take a look at.
And he's been eager to get my opinion on it and all this stuff.
And so we put this car together or this, GMS put this car together like in two weeks.
So the seat gets there
The seat gets bolted in
I show up
The guys that are going to do the insert
They show up
We're doing all this like on Monday
And then they're going to take the insert
And get it wrap it in the felt
And bring it back
And everything was like
Rush into the very
Finish line
So I'm just really thankful
About all the help
Everybody putting all that together
Corey's seat was fantastic
He's really on to something
With that new carbon seat
short trackers need to be in safe stuff and that's a new new that's a new tool for everybody to
look into so I'm excited about that how come those cars don't have cooling systems like is it not
typical why is that it's always like a super sonic hot situation yeah so I'd never ran a pro
and the exhaust on the pro late model comes out of the engine goes wraps up over the top of the
motor and goes down and so it
was really, really hot from my knees down.
Yeah.
Like my right shin was super, super warm,
kind of like it, you know,
just being in the sun all day,
getting a little sunburn.
From my knees up, perfectly comfortable.
Fine.
But just a little footbox down there for them cars,
and it was just really warm.
But the late model stock is way worse.
Like Connor and,
SVG and all those guys, they got out of the cars and they were like, I need a minute.
SVG got out of the car and he's like, I was standing there and getting ready to go,
hey man, appreciate you.
And he's like, give me a second.
He went and laid down in the hauler where the air conditioner was and just laid there for about
five or ten minutes.
Yeah.
I mean, it's dehydrating already.
And then with the heat and then the car's heat, it's a lot.
The late mile stock is a very, very hot race car.
And it was 95 degrees in the middle of the day, 91, 88 degrees won't be raised.
Super humid.
so a lot of drivers are starting to run those little cool vests yeah um keelan harvick runs one his dad insists
that he runs it sure and it's really smart i mean when y'all started running those in
cup i thought that was it is they're they're good a long-weighted thing but yeah oh they're i mean
everyone runs one now in cup they just came into this the scene in the last probably six or seven
eight years they fail so much though because they do fail a little bit it's not because of the
device it's everything with the car but
It's the operation of it.
The people that prime...
Maintain them.
And that's what makes me nervous about doing it to late model level.
Our guys don't have experience with it.
If you put that thing on and you go run it and it fails, oh my gosh.
You're a boil.
Now you have boiling water on you.
You would not...
Yeah, it's worse.
You would not be in a good place.
And so that's a big risk to take.
Is it too hot to race a late mile stock?
No, but it pushes you right to that limit.
But, I mean, that was the worst case scenario because it was 90 degrees.
I mean, not all...
We only have that kind of a situation three or four times a year at the most.
But I remember when Carson Quaple was racing our late models, he struggled.
I mean, he had more trouble getting to the end of late model stock races than he does in a rally series today.
Yeah.
It's super, super hot in those cars in the summer.
Yeah, you can't think in that kind of environment.
It's tough.
Yeah.
But it's still worth it.
It's still fun.
I'm so glad.
Yeah.
Do we have a game to play?
We do.
Cool.
So you guys have never had to deal with this.
So there's Hinge, which is a dating app.
And they ask people to like, there's props for people to fill out.
So then like when you're on it, you can like see like, oh, this person seems like someone that, you know, that you might, Matt, you know.
You get like a blurb.
Yeah, you can a little blurb, a little sentence.
So you can kind of see what the person's like before you go ahead and swipe or, you know, like.
Yep.
And so we're going to have you fill out some prompts.
Okay.
Okay.
So the first one is, the prompt is on my bucket list is blank.
Cage diving with great white sharks.
World travel.
I mean, I want to go to, I would name the list.
I want to check Alaska off the list.
I want to go back to Japan.
I want to go back to Australia.
Bucket list.
You're supposed to be luring the ladies in with your comment.
If you're going back, it's not on the bucket list.
You've already checked it off.
Somebody's going to like this.
I'm not worried about it.
Y'all. I'm not trying to go out with YouTube.
You're not.
No.
Well, damn.
I'm already out.
I'm already swiped.
Am I going left or right?
Which way do we go, Trout?
Yeah, Amy.
All right.
All right.
My bucket list.
Like Alaska works.
You've never been there.
The glaciers in Alaska.
Bar hopping through Alaska.
What are we doing in Alaska?
Bar hopping through Alaska.
Visit the Eiffel Tower.
No.
No.
The Fahle Tower is cool, but not bucket list.
school. He's like, now I'm being judged on it, so it doesn't, it's not, we're taking it off.
Alaska's just not what I think a lot of people would have on their bucket list.
Yeah, like cage diving's pretty cool. I really do. I don't want to do that. I would go.
We used to hang out with Wild Bill. Do you remember him? Yeah.
From the deadliest catch. Oh, yeah, yeah. Like an actual pirate. You know, he's the coolest.
And he told me he would take me to do that in the Bahamas. I mean, I know there's probably
places that are better to do it like Australia or wherever. I don't know. Bahamas is pretty cool.
But he said you can do it in the Bahamas.
And I'm like, I want to do that.
But we haven't.
Yeah.
So I feel like since you can do it so close, it's an attainable.
Is Amsterdam?
Or what did we say?
What?
Where did we say we were, no.
Switzerland?
Switzerland.
Yeah.
My bucket list.
Your bucket list is Switzerland?
Sure.
Bar hopping in Switzerland.
Okay.
Yeah, there you go.
In a snuggy?
Whatever.
Being more of uncomfortable.
All right.
The next question is, what I order for the table is blank.
If you're out with a group, like, what are you ordering?
Margaritas.
Buffalo shrimp.
I like, see, that's a good answer.
Not a bucket of beer.
We're sharing shrimps.
Are you sharing your shrimps with me?
Get a beer tower.
Ooh, beer tower.
Shrimp, buffalo shrimp and a bucket of beer.
Yeah.
Let's see, that's a good answer.
There you go.
My greatest strength is.
I don't know
Loyalty
Yours?
Yeah, that's a good answer
I feel like mine would be loyalty over yours
Who's more loyal
Who's more weird
Who can stare harder
What is mine?
Help me
My greatest strength
Your greatest strength
Is helping people nap
Your greatest strength is
I don't know how you articulate this
in more concise way
but her greatest strength is her thoughtfulness.
Oh, there you go.
Thoughtfulness.
Yeah, like her ability to like
paying attention.
Her ability to
acts of kindness and service
and gift giving to her friends and family
that she's off the charts.
Cool.
Yeah, that's a good one.
That is good one.
Yeah.
We'll get along if.
We'll get along if.
You'd like to talk on loan car.
I was just going to say,
if you,
damn it, you took that right out of my mouth.
We'll get along if you know how to leave me alone.
If you can read the room,
we're going to be just fine.
If we're going to be just fine.
Loving this is wrong, I don't want to be right.
I'm sorry?
If loving this is wrong, I don't want to be right.
Like Linda Ron's dad saying, man, I'm not sure.
I feel like Dale's would have to be video games at 50.
Like, what? Don't get me like that.
Yeah, I'm sorry.
Video games for Dale.
Yeah, video games.
Amy?
I don't know. What do I do that's wrong?
Loving taxidermy squirrels?
That's a good one.
If loving destiny is wrong, I don't want to be right.
In my friend's group, I'm the one who does.
Lose everything.
Yeah.
We need music to play.
In my friend's group, I'm probably the more obnoxious.
You're the smarty pants of the group.
That's a good one.
And last one, dating me is like...
Dating me is like a roller coaster ride.
That's a good.
that before. Oh yeah? So it's not, that's not funny. That's annoying. That's one that's used.
Your one-way ticket to paradise. If you saw that on Hinge, would be like, yes, please.
Dating me is like, you help. Dating you and being married you are two totally different things.
Dating you was quite the adventure. Quite the adventure is the answer. I don't have, and I don't have
a rule book.
I told him this forever ago.
You should have come with a user's manual.
I'll just put that down.
It's an adventure.
Take that as you will.
Take that as you will.
What's it?
Is that it?
We got you guys as a dating profiles now.
I feel like we should have asked you all of these questions.
No, thank you.
And we should actually use them.
No, thank you.
I want to see your Hinge profile.
Okay.
Have you been using it lately?
Not really.
Dang.
Our first conversation was about one of your dates.
Yeah.
And she said,
Oh, the Dry January.
He was doing dry January, and I'm like, we're going to get rid of her.
So you haven't used it in a while?
Was that the last one?
No.
You have to realize that it is.
He doesn't like going to ask questions.
He's like slinking down.
No, I'll show it to you.
I'm dying to see what it looks like.
I'm old enough to have been around before dating apps even existed.
So is I.
Well, and.
But you were an adult.
And, yeah, like I was old enough to be around when.
They didn't exist, but I was old enough to use them.
But then I got in a relationship and didn't need them when they became a thing.
So it's so, I remember when they first kind of came out and it was like.
Match.com.
People were like, it was a joke to do it.
Right?
It was like.
Taboo.
Taboo.
And people would clown you using that as the punchline.
Well, it was used for older people too.
I feel like it wasn't something that the young.
crowd was using.
Yeah.
It was like kind of a sad, like, oh, you have to use Match.com to find people.
And now it's like very normal.
And there's different apps for different types of groups of people.
Yeah.
It is wild.
It is wild.
So Dale and I, same thing.
I never really, never.
Yeah.
I feel like we miss the cusp of that.
Just like I'm grateful for that and I'm grateful for not having a smartphone when I was
in college.
Could you imagine being thrown?
We've missed all those things that really would have sucked.
Could you imagine, like, being thrown back into a single life and having to freaking...
I would be single forever.
Navigate?
I, first of all, if something happens to you, I am going to be an old spinster.
There ain't no f***.
I'm going to try to train another man.
I am done.
I am done, done, done, done, done, done, done.
Love you.
Don't want anything to have any you.
But this is it for me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But dating, like, that would be impossible.
No, it would.
I would not welcome that.
Yeah.
Because I would
I would refuse to like adapt to all these new tools
I would try to do it the way I used to do it
That would be okay
I think there's people out there that still want that
Are there?
Yes
The same people that still want to talk to a bartender to order a drink
You know what I mean?
It's like a tangible magazine
Yeah
You know
Yeah
They're out there
Can't imagine
That would be miserable
It would
It would be really awkward
Would you still use your same
game like just stare at people like a bird dog until they came to you would you still do that that's
not what i did that's pretty much what you did no i stared at you yeah just staring at you yeah like
i wasn't saying nothing talking to my buddies drinking no like when you were by yourself and you didn't
have that you know those surroundings i just stared you just stare like across the room yeah no i didn't
martin friedrich was in the room once when you did it and he and i we were in the elvis room and you
walk in and you just stand in my own home
It wasn't finished yet.
Nobody was living in it.
We were there for like IT.
Nothing was...
Oh, we were in a framed out house.
What does that have to do with anything?
You didn't say anything.
You just walk in and you just stare.
Like, come hither, woman.
Well, we were dating.
Barely.
We were talking.
It's still your tactic.
No, no, no.
You make it sound like before we ever became a thing
that I would see you places and just stare at you.
Like, what the hell?
You did it more after we actually had the initial conversation.
Right.
But it was still, we were still courting.
At that point, I'm allowed to stare at you.
No, but it was the only thing you were doing.
You would come into the room and instead of saying anything like, hello, how are you?
Oh, I'm so glad to see you.
Hug.
Like the normal things.
No.
You just stand across the room and bird dog me.
Yes.
Until I kind of came over to you.
That's right.
Yeah.
Well, that's after where we've,
agreed that there's a thing going on.
Before that,
I'm regular, I'm normal.
I don't bird dog you at the bar.
Like, man, I'll think that girl's hot.
We just stare at her.
I feel like you do that.
No.
Yeah, I feel like you might do that.
You're just sabotaging me in case I ever do.
Yeah, that's damn right what I'm doing.
Dale, if you want to.
His hinge thing is going to say might be a bird dog.
You're making all the women.
Dale, if you had to go on another first.
He's a weirdo.
He's totally weird.
This is too much.
You ladies don't want to have anything to do with this.
Amy, do you think if he went on another first date, he would just eat his meal real fast again and just...
Yeah.
He doesn't slow, he's never slowed down eating.
The girls, we have a running joke in the house.
Like, if the girls finish something before him, they're like, done before dad!
I'm like, well, you did get a head start, but yes, you're done before dad.
Yeah.
No, he's not going to slow down.
I am.
I feel like...
He's going to sit on the same side of the beach.
booth and share your plate. That's what he's going to do. I do feel like that. Um, being in
relationship with me is, is an adventure. It is. We're not bored. I've never been bored.
I'm highly entertained. A lot of good, a lot of entertaining, but also a lot of of,
there's been some challenges, but we find. Yeah. Just a lot of unnecessary anxiety and worry and
yeah. Yeah. She has to talk me off the ledge a lot.
Yes.
I overthink everything.
He overthinks everything.
Yeah.
Just about,
except for those socks he put on today.
He didn't think about that too long.
No.
You don't have to think about that.
You just open the drawer and find the matching pair.
Whatever pops out at your face.
Nope.
It's a drawer full of socks and you're just like,
yep, there's two that match.
Perfect.
Wait, so you had a drawer full of socks and you chose those.
You may sound like you didn't have many to choose from.
I probably had.
Travis, hold please.
He's got a drawer full of socks that all have patterns on them.
So like the nice dress.
socks that he would choose
to match his outfit, of course.
And then he's got like the sporty socks.
All like, and all of his hunting socks
and all of like the real...
Thick. The industrial socks, you know what I'm saying?
So he's got a drawer of those.
He's got lots of choices.
I have a drawer full of ankle socks, but they're all
loosey goose. Wait, they're not
paired up matched? Nope.
You're a sociopath.
No, that's my fault.
I can't stand it.
I can't stand it when they're folded inside out and you make a
ball out of them. I take them off.
I like them flat.
I take them off.
Listen, I take my socks off.
I ball them up.
I fold them to one.
I throw them in the hamper.
Andy goes, quit doing that.
Well, it's a f*** problem because now I have to touch your sweaty, dirty, smelly socks more than I want to you to begin.
I don't want them to separate in the hamper because then one gets washed.
The other one doesn't get washed.
He'll have to get the next load to get some of the other socks.
Then the other ones come up later after the second load.
It's so annoying, though.
Like, he'll come back from a weekend at the racetrack or something.
And these socks are still damp sometimes.
And I'm grossed out.
But why do I have to undo them?
Sometimes I just throw them in there like that.
You get washed and you come out all put together.
Then you go back in the girl, all fit together.
Dale, you need to not ball them up when you're done with them.
Fine.
Amy, when you're putting them together, when they're clean, you need to ball them up so they stay together.
No, that's not happening.
And his nice socks that are long, like I fold them in half.
They're perfectly lined up in the door.
My sock drawer is.
Until he gets to it.
And he's like, my sock drawer is about 160.
socks that they don't know where their brother or their pairs at.
It's like, hey, man, they're a brother.
He might be over there.
He's in that corner.
There he is.
That's lies.
It's organized.
Not at all.
That's because of you.
Okay.
I give him all of his socks perfectly, like, paired up and matched.
Fold them together.
Good stuff.
Who's the sociopath, really?
You.
I like it tidy.
You got to fold the socks.
They don't stay.
They don't, like, you can't close a drawer sometimes when they get all balled up like
that. It's an excessive amount of socks.
Maybe get rid of those white ones.
We can just leave those here.
We can throw those in the garbage on the way out.
I didn't know you couldn't wear white socks with black tennis shoes.
You can if you want to get made fun of.
Well, all right.
Well, that's it for the day.
All right. Thank you guys for listening.
