The following is a production of Dirty Mo Media.
This is the most fun I've had in this chair in the last hour and a half.
I don't know if we've ever argued.
Did I piss you off over the weekend?
I'm still sour.
Did I want the best man at your wedding?
Who was your best man, Dale?
T.J.
You don't need a cool best for that race?
What are you thinking?
Get them, T.J.
Hellway to start a show.
All right then.
fellas, welcome in to this episode of the Dale Jr. Download. It's No Gregson and we have Chase Briscoe. We're hosting today. We have never done this before. So I don't know what we're going to talk about. It's going to be off the rails.
Because we're supposed to say this episode is presented by Arby's. Don't forget about Arby's new meat and three box. Get more meal free money at Arby's. We have the meats. You also have free bird. I got the free bird. Cheers y'all. Here, get the little.
Oh yeah, that sounds crispy.
Pretty good.
All decked out in the Bass Pro shops today.
Oh, we're all in.
I was trying to find a,
let's just hit every sponsor plug we can here at the beginning.
I was trying to find my Texacom-Cutstone hat,
sponsor the Cars Tour.
He's been trying to get Dale to wear the hat on the show
ever since he sponsored the Car Store.
So I was trying to find the hat today to wear it.
So this is as close as it's probably going to get.
So shout out Tevin.
Shout out.
Shout out, what is it?
Texan.
cutstone all your limestone needs yeah stone well i don't need any limestone but no we're going to do
your pool we oh yeah yeah i do actually need limestone yeah we got you dialed in all right what are we
what are we supposed to talk about here let's uh all right what did you think of the lanter race the other
day your your car had some speed there at the beginning it was it was a rocket ship yeah with no gas in
it was a rocket ship with no gas and they had the parachute out it did it was uh i mean the 66 drove away
from us unfortunately that was uh that really sucked it was definitely a weird Atlanta race I would
say as it was super weird the way it started yeah the beginning was very we were all spread out
normally we're all packed up how would you think did you think the track changed at all after
the rain I did think it it changed um it honestly I don't you know the sun went down right the moon
came out it did feel like the waxen crescent was there but it was I got a bone to pick because
I don't know if I'm a believer in it
anymore. For how gripped up it was
or I guess Sunday night. It hasn't worked for me
at all this year. It hasn't. It's been off for me too. I've been having more grip on
the waning gibbis, so I don't know if there's been
a gravity change this year or what, but... Yeah, it might be like
Chinese New Year, or like, Year of the... So you're the dragon.
Yeah, winning gibbis. You're the winning gibbis dragon.
That does check out, actually.
Dragons. But it definitely did pick up grip. It was like a totally different
race. Could you stay with the pack
the second half? Yeah, we did make a lot
of adjustments there. The
first
pit stop that helped and then
the second pit stop helped and
we were three laps down
unfortunately so. Yeah, you
called it. You picked right behind us in the pits.
I was worried about it and you said you're having an
opening in and we definitely had an opening in.
I was joking before. So you
went you went to
fishing. Did you catch
anything? Chase called me. Okay, so
Chase called me and he was like, man, there's this pond.
And it's got 14 pounders and they shocked it.
Tell the whole story.
All right.
So we got this buddy.
His name is Barrett.
And we've been able to go to the racetrack.
He comes to the races.
He knows some people down in the south.
He lives in Georgia.
So he's like, hey, I got this buddy who has a buddy.
And he's got this like killer, I think it was like an eight acre lake pond.
He's like they shock this thing.
So when they shock it, there's like this electro thing they can do.
They ride this boat over the whole, whole lake or whatever,
and all the fish will float to the surface.
They tase them.
Yeah, tases them, essentially.
Tasey crazy on the fish.
Yeah, so you can see what's in your pond or lake.
And so apparently when they did this back, and I think it was March,
they had seven bass that were over 14 and a half pounds, which is just insane.
So we were itching to go.
As soon as qualifying got done Saturday, we drove an hour to this guy's place.
We get there, and it's beautiful.
Like, it's got aerators everywhere, feeders.
everywhere and we're like this this is this is it like we're all going to catch you know new personal
records and so cliffy one of our crew guys he cast literally first cast catches a bass uh within
like the first five cast he catches three and like we're not even fishing yet it's just you guys
are going nuts yeah and we're like oh my gosh it's like fishing out in missouri yeah pretty
much and we're like this is this is this is going to be it that was the only three fish we
we caught that day uh we fish for the next three hours and just didn't have any luck whatsoever
they went back the next morning I did not and they caught a 5.7 pounder which is still a great bass but it was not a 14 pounder so hot the walk 10 degrees caping on it I don't know it definitely looked like it had all the potential in the world but we did we did not catch any what did you do Saturday night me I just went to team dinner and watched a couple of the fights the first two the last one wasn't even a fight and then I was already laying
in bed. I was tired.
Well, it was a long day the next morning.
Pretty. Yeah, I mean, the next morning is
the night races are cool.
You just have nothing to do. But you don't have anything to do.
And I stay in a hotel, so we
It's hard to get. Yeah, you got to check out by 11.
You got to check out. So I went to Dick's sporting goods,
got a therogun. I've been having some really bad, like, chin splints in my right leg
for whatever reason.
Have you been wearing your sock?
Well, I have been. I know it doesn't really show on the racetrack, but I actually
happened. Did you wear your left sock last week?
Yeah, I'm dyslexic. So I must have.
I got a mixed up.
But I've been having some really bad shin splints in my right shin.
It's kind of self-diagnosed.
I don't know if it's actually a shin splint,
but whatever the muscle is right next to my,
I'm kind of feeling my shin right now.
Yeah.
And the muscle to the right of my shin in between my shin and my calf
is really, really tender and sore right now.
That's your shinbula.
The shinbula?
Yeah.
What did you exactly do to hurt your shin?
What physical activity?
I've been wamping that throttle too much in and out of it.
Too much this year.
I haven't been just pedal to the metal, I guess.
I don't know.
It just started hurting the other day, and I just been toughing it out.
I don't need to go see a doctor by any means,
but I definitely would like to see it go away by the end of the day because it's pretty...
At the end of the day?
I would hope so, yeah.
Don't pull McGregor.
Have you ever brought it?
broken any bones?
I've broken my finger.
Which one?
Oh, didn't...
My middle finger.
Didn't you?
When did you break that?
It was like 22 or 23.
Yeah, dirt late model.
Yeah, Bulls Gap.
Broke that thing.
Then I had to run with the cast.
Yeah, what race does you run with it?
Martinsville, Talladega, Bristol.
I don't remember the other one.
I went like three top fives in a row, though, so I should have broke more fingers.
Yeah, you're on the bell.
Bell's copying you.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah.
Big shout out, Christopher Bell.
We got off, you know, my relationship with Christopher and Chase and Chase, you know, they start out Rocky, but we squashed the beef.
I actually didn't know why we had beef.
You didn't realize you had beef with Christopher.
I knew why I had beef with you because you wrecked you in the first couple races that we ever ran.
But, you know what?
All bad things come to an end.
And look at us now.
Look at us now.
We're as thick as Steve's.
Ricky and Cal.
Yeah, I'm definitely probably Ricky with the Kevin Magnus and stuff.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, you really were.
Yeah.
I still can't believe you didn't throw a punch.
Dude, I...
We went to dinner the night before.
I know.
And you were talking about fighting people and you're like, I'll take on anybody.
I was, but I'm trying to get a job next year.
Yeah, that checks out.
I thought...
There's a lot more consequences than just the monetary fine if I were to do that.
Yeah, that was probably a good decision. I'm proud of you.
But can we talk about...
Did you drop them, you think?
I don't know, but I guess we'll never know unless...
We can do a round two.
Set it up.
All right.
The best is the DMs from...
Yeah, what's F1, like, bad Twitter like?
Oh, dude, they come out of the woodworks.
And it's always guys with like
Zero Post
And they're just Europeans
And they're like
You fat
Wanker
You suck at driving
I'm like
That sounds like my crew chief
Well if we
If we both
If I ran with him
For 30th
Then we both kind of suck
Right
If he was running around me
Yeah
Don't we both kind of suck
Yeah
That would check out
You know
But that was a
When he hit me
Going into the corner
That was a 14G hit
So what I don't
What even happened
I saw like
Some clips
online, but I don't really
understand why it escalated to that.
Well, I just get frustrated
when they barreled off the inside.
There's nothing worse at the roadcourses.
On lap two.
It's like we can all do that.
But you know what?
I'm over it now.
Yeah, it was frustrating.
Probably more frustrated
our overall situation this year
and how tough it's been
on the racetrack just every week.
but at the same time, you know what, I let my frustrations get the best of me, and we'll move on.
It is what it is.
It's a new day.
New day.
New day.
Well, Atlanta, so you didn't have a good day.
I didn't have a good day.
But the randol—
Yeah, but I beat you, and I got straight away by the 66.
You did beat me.
The rain delay, though, was fun.
We got to, you know, after the rain delay, we were all talking.
But, yeah, during the rain delay, tell the listeners what happened.
Can you—
Oh, my.
my gosh. I thought that Twitter was completely full shit. But, so Chase and I were hanging out during
the rain delay. Yeah. And how long was it? Two hours? It was probably two hours. We were playing
college football on the Xbox. And then Chase beat me two games. I beat them once. Yep. And then,
we are, we checked to see if it was raining. We go outside and Carrie Earnhardt and Figgie
walked by. Yeah, we're walking by. And I could not believe how tall,
It was crazy.
Figgie was.
So I met Figgie one time when I was, it would have been 2016 doing the ARCA stuff.
I want to say Bobby Dale was running an Arker race.
And I'd just like literally met him, didn't really truthfully even know who it was.
But yeah, then the other day saw Kerry.
And yeah, it was crazy how much taller Figgie is.
I know.
Dale short.
Kerry's kind of, I guess, in the middle.
But Figggy's pretty tall.
But you always used to hear, I never met Dale Sr.,
but you always used to hear about how big of a stature that.
guy had. Well, he was bigger than life. You know, and you talked to everybody, man, back, back when I was
in the sport, we were in Daytona for two weeks, and Dale came up and he had that big old paw. That's what
everybody says, you know, that big paw. He would make this can look like it was six ounces. Yeah,
I mean, you just hear he was bigger than life. And, and what would you say? It's probably,
Figgy was probably six, two? How tall are you? I'm six foot, and he was a touch taller than me.
Yeah, because I'm only five, three, so. It looks like you're. It looks like you.
five three right now.
Yeah.
This chair's broken.
They gave me a faulty chair.
We did not give you a faulty chair.
On the show.
Jamie, pull that up.
Anyways, it was...
Biggie's hands, though.
That'd be a great time to raise your chair up.
When he shook my hand,
he had those contractor hands.
Yeah, he's building those.
Yeah, he's building those with Kerry said.
That's pretty cool.
I don't know why he never really came around,
but nice guy.
Maybe super nice.
Yeah.
Didn't look anything like Dale, though.
No.
Nothing like Dale.
The curly hair.
I cannot believe it.
He doesn't need a haircut, Loki.
Yeah.
So that was pretty cool to be able to meet Figgie.
Obviously, we know Kerry really well.
I was surprised you never met Figgie when you raced here.
He just never came around here.
People talk about it here at Junior Motorsports all the time.
And I guess it just wasn't really a huge topic.
Like, it was just Dale's half brother.
Yeah.
You know, but it was fun racing here at Junior Motorsports.
It brings back a lot of memories coming back to this shop,
and it's been cool to see their success since I've been here.
They've been ripping.
Definitely been ripping by far the best in the O'Reilly series, in my opinion.
So it's been cool to watch.
This place holds a really special part of my heart, and I'll come over here.
Do you ever come here to hang out?
Yeah, I'll come over here every once in a while and come see.
You know, a lot of my old team still works here, or some of the guys still work here,
and I know a lot of guys in the shop are still kind of the same.
So they did get a dino here.
They got the owner.
So I actually live on the other side of I-77.
So you can hear it when they're right.
Dude, I hear it.
They're ripping at like 7 a.m. on a Thursday.
And I'm like, but I don't mind it.
I got these birds in my backyard.
What kind of birds?
Loud.
Loud birds.
No, they're just like little yappers.
They're little chihuahua birds.
Like you?
Yeah, just like me.
All bark, you know.
And so these things start up at 5.30 in the morning, which I get up at 6.
But they just chirp, and they chirp, and they chirp, and they chirp, and they chirp, and they chirp.
I got to silence them somehow, scare them away.
So then I went to South Carolina the other day.
And I got a bunch of Roman candles and fireworks and stuff.
Yeah.
And maybe a couple big bangs will scare them.
him. That might do it. The blowdark gun could always work. Yeah, we, we are a big blow dart gun
family. I've got a blow dart gun now. Bruce and I. Yeah. Well, I guess because of Rusty.
Because of Rusty. Yeah. Can we talk about Rusty Rush? Let's talk about Rusty Rush is, uh, he was a
sponsor. Well, let's go way back. He started sponsoring Tony Stewart. Tony Stewart. Uh, then he went to
Claire, then myself. Then you. Now you. Me. And he still never won a single race. He hasn't, he's been on,
he's probably up to 100.
50 now.
Yeah, where he's been like
the whole primary.
Never want to race.
Never won.
Which is sad.
It is sad.
And Rusty's an awesome guy.
His buddies, all his buddies are awesome.
The best.
The racetrack.
I mean, there's just a good group of guys and he's kind of become like a, I want to say,
like a grandpa to me.
Uncle.
Yeah.
Uncle Rusty.
He's like Uncle Rusty.
And just a great dude.
He's very, very generous, so.
Yeah.
It's hard to not have a good time with Rusty.
It's impossible to have a good time.
Have you guys ever met Rusty?
Nope.
No.
Oh, you're missing out.
So anyways, Rusty's got this blowdark gun that he takes everywhere with him.
You could be downtown Dallas.
You could be downtown L.A.
You could be downtown anywhere.
And he'll have this blowdark gun with him at all times in his vehicle.
And he's like Chris Kyle the sniper with this thing.
It's unbelievable.
He could, like, if I put this can on its side and told him to shoot
through this hole from like 20 yards out he could smoke it first try so anyways when we go hunting
with rusty you know the blow dart is is a thing we're go shoot rabbits or whatever with this blow dart
so noah bought a blow dart gun and uh i i now have the same is brooks does he know how to do he doesn't
have enough lung behind him to yeah he's really get that dart riffing he he's got a little bit
of lung because he can talk he's all right so noa calls me the other day and uh he's he's face tines me
from picking up these fireworks.
And so for any of those that have kind of followed along with us after went in Chicago,
I bought Brooks a drum set.
Yeah, how did that come about?
So back in, it was probably February.
He was right around the Daytona 500.
He loves Forrest Frank, the Christian singer.
And he watches his YouTube videos of like in the morning, like, we're just having music on, right?
And so he always sees the drums getting playing guitar and stuff.
And so he saw the drums.
He's like, I want to play those.
and as a
That's a nightmare.
Yeah, you're like, we don't need a drum set.
So I just pushed it off.
I was like, well, when I win a race, you can get a drum set.
You know, hoping I was going to win a-
Yeah, if I was thinking I would say,
when Noah wins a race, you can get a drum set.
It would have been 30 years from now.
Facts.
Anyways, we win Chicago, or back up, like a month and a half.
We go to Force Frank concert,
and he gets to meet Malachi, the drummer,
and Malachi gave him his drumsticks.
so then he was like really all in on this drum set thing
so we went chicago land last week
and i FaceTime him in victor lane
and the first thing brook says is daddy i get my drum set
so he hasn't forgotten yeah has not forgotten
um so i obviously had to go get this drum set
so we buy one off amazon
and uh you know set it all up
and it is just as loud as loud can be right uh so anyways
that's giving you the back story of the drum set how close are the twins room to
right across the hallway.
So, and they're trying to sleep.
They're nap, and he'll be playing this thing like Brennan Shale on stepbrothers.
And, uh, well, the first thing he said when, when I facetined you was, did you touch my drum set?
Yeah.
Don't touch my drum set.
He said, don't touch my drum set.
So anyways, Noah calls.
And Brooks, he, I taught him or he figured out, you know, you can hit two of the drums in a symbol.
And it's like the joke thing, like, you know, to do whatever.
And so he asked Noah, he's like, hey Noah, you want to hear a joke?
He said, knock, knock.
He said, who's there?
He said, what do you say?
A gorilla?
Yeah, I think a gorilla.
He said, a gorilla.
I said, gorilla who?
He said, a gorilla drove this truck.
And then he was, when he was driving the truck, he had a moose in the back.
And when the moose was in the back, he was driving the truck.
and then when he was driving the truck
he was driving the truck
and then he
and then the moose was in the truck
in the back and
and then Chase says quite the punchline
and I lost it and he's just
going and going and going. It was at least a minute.
Terrible joke.
I didn't get the joke.
Must have been an in the person
type thing. Yeah.
But then the best part is
the funniest part is he goes
but doom-ch! But it's like
yeah it does not sound right at all and then so five minutes later you know you hang up or whatever and i go
down to talk to marissa and briggs is down there and uh i was like you should have just heard this
joke he said well it wasn't really a joke it was more story and uh so i'm telling marissa and i go
into the same thing you know there was a moose and all the stuff and i was like yeah there was a
well in the back of the truck bed and brooks like loses his mind like i'm talking just starts
screaming. He's like, no, no. And I'm like, what, what is going on? I didn't say a whale. I didn't say
it was a whale. I was like, sorry, buddy. I couldn't remember the 37 animals that you said.
He was like Noah's Ark on that truck with that gorilla driving. Yeah, it was quite the, quite the joke.
I think you got to do joke of the week or joke of the month. Yeah, we'll do that with him.
Because it is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's the awful.
the joke.
Dude, shoot.
It's so bad.
But yeah, I'll start the joke of the day or joke of the week.
Joke of the week.
Joke of the day is too much, but.
Yeah, they're not going to really be,
I feel like we're running out of content.
Yeah, we do joke of the day.
Very fast.
Joke of the week, we could make happen.
Hey, everybody, the 2026 season is in full swing,
and we've already had some really incredible moments
why we love this sport.
And when it comes to capturing those historical NASCAR moments
nobody does it better than Lionel Racing, the official diecast of NASCAR.
Their race-win diecasts are some of my absolute favorites in my collection.
The scuffs, scrapes, confetti, the damage, every detail that tells the story of that
win.
It's in these diecasts.
These things look like they were pulled straight out of Victory Lane.

All right.
What are we supposed to talk about, Travis?
Well, we got Blaney here now.
Oh, we do?
All right.
How long have you been on here?
Have you been on here?
I've been waiting around here for about 15 minutes.
It's all right, though.
I was enjoying your joke.
You're trying to understand it.
Yeah, if you ever need a joke, feel free to take breakfast.
It's a good one.
Hey, buddy.
A drunk set.
You better win, and you won.
So congratulations.
I appreciate that.
that wild hog yet?
I appreciate that.
Yeah, he's ripping around the track.
I saw it.
Were you ripping as fast as it looked like in that video?
No, I wasn't going that fast.
Did you take it up on the banking?
Yeah.
What was that like?
It was fun.
It didn't.
It was easy.
It was fine.
Sign that thing up in the saddlebag Daytona race.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't have the stones for that.
It was flapping in the wind.
Yeah.
It was flapping in a pretty good bit, too.
Do you have a leather vest that you wear?
This leather chops.
Yeah.
strictly leather chaps and no pants.
Yeah.
Well, congratulations.
How'd your race go?
I saw you at times.
You went by really, really fast.
Rip the vinyl right off the rest of the start.
You went by me twice in the first 60 laps, really, really fast.
So I didn't see you for very long.
But yeah.
Great job.
Great job.
I appreciate it.
Thanks.
Yeah, Noah, it didn't look like you had a very fun day.
I apologize for you not having a good day.
It looked like no fun.
And Chase,
you ended up not having...
No, it beat me.
I still beat you guys.
No, it would be.
Yeah.
Dude, we're three laps down. I somehow got back on the lead lap.
I don't know how...
Nice.
Nice.
Just grinding through it.
Yeah.
But, no, I mean, it was a good weekend.
You know, couldn't really ask for a better weekend, right?
We sat on the pole and won both stages and, you know,
it was able to end up winning the race and never know how the ending of those things go.
we just got fortunate with a couple, you know, good runs there and some good help at the end and was able to sneak it through.
So, you know, pretty cool, pretty cool weekend.
And, you know, like I said, couldn't really ask for more.
You could have had more.
You did not get the fastest lap.
That's true.
Yeah, Cody Ware took it from.
I saw that.
I don't know if I would have had it anyway.
I don't think I was leading the whole time.
High up on the fastest lap train.
But yeah, hey, I'm happy for Cody, man.
Heck yeah, dude, get that.
Get that PR lap.
Yeah.
That's good.
Hey, is your pool?
Is it finished?
I know there was some complications on the building timeline on that.
Yeah, it's good.
It's done now.
It was just delayed by about six months, I feel like.
But it's fortunately been good.
And we've needed it.
It's been freaking 98 degrees here in North Carolina, you know, for the last couple weeks.
But fortunately, the pool is, it is done.
We've been able to utilize it.
Did you tear it up?
after the race?
What was the post race?
Did you guys stay down there?
Did you fly back?
What all did you do Sunday night?
You didn't go to bed until like four or five in the morning.
Monday morning.
I walked in my door at 6 a.m.
And so Gianna was not in town.
She was on vacation with some girlfriends of hers.
And so my mother-in-law had my son through the weekend.
So she was at the house.
So I laid down in bed about 615.
I woke up about 930 and went down and got Charlie.
And then my mother-in-law went home and then I, Gianna got home last night.
So I was just dadding it up, single-daddened it up all day yesterday.
Yeah, I had the twins by myself since the race.
It's hard work.
It definitely appreciate.
And you had double trouble.
So you had, you know, twice as much responsibility as I had.
But yeah, I just hung out with Charlie all day yesterday.
And so I didn't really do much for the celebration side of it, besides take a couple laps around the racetrack on my Harley.
There you go.
Hey, we're talking about it earlier.
You used to live at Dale's place.
Did you ever get to hang out with Figgy much at all?
I can't.
I'm not sure.
He lives in Winston, Salem, so you probably never met it.
No, I don't remember.
I was at Dale's house a good bit, you know, when I was living over there.
But I don't think I ever did.
Hmm.
Great guy.
How about the filming of NASCAR versus the Navy?
We had a great time doing that.
Hey, I was glad I'm climbing on that table made the cut.
Yeah, man, we had a blast doing that.
Like, you know, we were out there.
So, you know, for the folks who watched that.
So myself, Noah, Chase, you came the next day.
Yeah, I had to test Vegas.
Yeah.
Yeah, so you tested Vegas, Sebel, Hostavar, Zilich.
So we all flew out there after Vegas.
filming that thing for like two and a half days
and man we had a we had a ball
I mean just being able to hang around the base
messing around I can't believe
I don't know if y'all think this I can't believe they let us do
what we did on the base
like shutting down runways
like letting us do all this stuff I couldn't
I couldn't believe it but it turned out it turned out really good
how about uh you almost beat that fighter jet
you almost beat it yeah you're so man I was I was trying
dude was that thing loud when it was ripping right next
It was it was super loud.
You know, he and I were both maxed out down the runway and, and, uh, then he just looked over
at me and, and decided to actually put throttle to it and then took off into the sky.
So I was hoping maybe they would hook a chain up to the car and then I could take off with them.
Just be like Santa Slay over here.
Yeah, but no, man, it was, it was badass.
What was your favorite part?
For me, I was the plane ride home.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was, uh, I would say,
say the plane ride home was probably my favorite part of that whole trip too.
Not to get home. We know that Christopher Bell's favorite part was to get home.
Ours was the conversations that were had.
Dude, I tell you, you get six degenerate race car drivers in a plane together for four and a half hours.
There's a lot of good conversations that we had.
And we learned a lot. We learned a lot. I will say that.
Squash and beef. I think we squashed a lot of beefs. Yeah.
Yeah, what was it like with Hosevar who we know is kind of the train?
talk about what went on. It's kind of a you had to be there.
That's a, it's a, it's a, it's in the tube. It's in the, the, the, the, the plane type scenario.
But we, we, we had a great time. Like you said, we squashed some beefs all around.
Uh, we had some fun conversations. And I think we, we, uh, we learned some stuff.
Yeah. So, and we got some gifts out of them. Yeah. So we did, I will say, one of the things we did
talk about is Cole Swindell is playing at Red Rocks in September. And we were talking about trying to,
I think that's the week of Gateway.
We were talking about trying to maybe all go out there.
I've been practicing the harmonica and Cole has promised me.
No, I should have brought it.
I got the video on my phone if we can play it.
Can we play it, Travis?
I've been practicing harmonica.
I put it on here.
I said that I won't be able to get on here.
I can play a piano man out at Red Rocks on stage with my harmonica.
But if we can't get flights out there, would it be possible if you're interested in going?
would you want to ride
me and you
out on the new motorcycle?
Oh, maybe.
Is that?
Is that a redmond out there?
Yeah, that's the harmonica.
Yeah, that's really.
Yeah, play that again.
Jamie, play that again.
Dude, that was,
I thought it was the real intro to piano.
Pretty good, man.
He's really windy.
I think you, I think you should do it.
Are you going to do it?
Yeah.
If you go out there,
are you going to go play in front of
thousands of people at Red Rocks, your harmonica?
Yeah, I mean, no stage is too bright for me.
It's a bright stage out there.
You know, it's what I know, we got to go up on stage with Cole at Country, Carolina
Country Music Festival, and they have the whole crowd lit up, but there's not too many lights
when you're on the stage.
So, um, I felt in my element out there, you know.
Oh, good.
It felt good.
So, I think you should do it.
I think you should do it. If we can go out there and yeah, maybe we can, we can, we can, we
can tandem bike it out there. You can ride on the back. Maybe I'll get a sidecar? Can we get the three
musketeers? We could get dual sidecars. Yeah, I would have to work like a training wheels. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Heck yeah. That'd be good. I wouldn't have to put my feet down when we stop at a lighter.
So that'd be nice. You should trade your new motorcycle in for a trike. A trike. Yeah. Harley.
Yeah. A can't am. Yeah, one of those spiders. Maybe.
Ryan, speaking of ride-alongs, uh, you got your, uh, new.
show on the gas.
What's that like taking Chado Chosinko and others along?
Yeah.
Yeah, man, that was a lot of fun.
We told that last month at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
And ironically enough, that show just came out, you know, a week or two ago.
And that scheme, the body armor scheme, they were a big part of that show happening,
was the scheme that we won Atlanta.
And the cars were wrapped like that scheme.
So that was pretty fun.
But, yeah, we took Chattotosenko out.
His episode airs this week.
We had Keegan Michael Key.
from Key and Peele on.
He was a fantastic guest.
He was our first episode.
And Weston Chaplin, he's one of our guests, too.
And that was fun.
You know, those cars, I wanted, I had an idea for this show like two years ago.
You know, there's Richard Petty experience, you know, ride around stuff.
But those cars are really old and they don't really give you the full experience of what we go through.
And so these cars are old Xfinity cars that we have laying around.
And they pretty much just put a right seat in them.
I mean, so they are.
fully, you know,
they're pretty new.
Yeah, full-blown race cars.
And so we had two cars out there.
So we took them around the big track and then we take them around the road course
in a road course car.
And man,
I ripped around there pretty hard and gave these guys the full deal.
I almost made Keegan throw up.
He gagged pretty hard in the race car,
which would have been a bad day.
But it was good, man.
I just wanted to give athletes and celebrities,
the closest thing that we do from week to week because it's hard to experience that.
You have no idea what it's like.
What do you think, scared of more, the oval, getting close to the wall with them being
on the right side of the car or the road course just jumping curbs?
Yeah, well, I told them, I said it's going to be two completely different experiences.
You know, I mean, the oval is intimidating because, you know, the straightaway speed
and the corner entry speed and then obviously getting close to the wall.
And they're way closer to the wall than I am, right, sitting right seat there right next to it.
And then the road course, I think the road course was a little bit more eye-opening because you have the big decals right in the breaking zone.
How fun is it when you're doing the two-seater deal and you hit the break and you just see them absolutely check the right front air fresher?
Yeah.
And I wouldn't tell them like, hey, big breaking zone coming up.
So just to see their whole body like ragged all forward.
It's so funny whenever you're driving a two-seater.
Yeah.
Where are you at right now?
Obviously your house.
I'm in my house.
I like what you've done with the suits and stuff.
Is that your trophy room office?
It's a, we built onto our house a few years ago.
This is like a little bar.
So like in front of me, this bar set up and helmets and stuff.
Let's see the place.
Let's see it.
All right, here, let me flip my camera around for you.
How do I do this?
What up, Dirty Mo Cribs?
We got Ryan Blaney here.
Dirty Mo Cribs.
Heck, I don't know how to flip it around, but here we go.
We got some checks up there.
Some checks.
Let me got some.
That's legit.
It's great.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So it was, yeah, there's some late model checks,
a little All-Star race check.
I got my turkey over there.
And then you got some fire suits and some cool little art pieces over there.
Is that your championship suit?
Yeah, championship suit from 23.
So they've had a big team photo.
What's the holy grill in the collection?
Man.
Probably that million dollar check.
That's, yeah.
The suit's cool.
I'd say the coolest helmet I have.
I have a lot of neat ones, but this one is one of my grandfather's last helmets that he ever wore.
I thought that was a cool find.
And then I have, you know, some, a lot of other driver's helmets from Jimmy's last year, Tony Stewart's last year, some of my dads.
Hey, he got a Tony Stewart helmet.
Yeah, must be nice.
Well, you weren't in it that year that he retired.
No, but here's the Tony story.
So I traded, I did it like a, I was a diehard Tony fan, obviously.
And I did this like Home Depot throwback helmet.
And, you know, it was like, had like part of the USAC midget, triple crown deal on there,
had this cup, the Indy car, like it tied into his whole career.
So I ran it at the Darlington throwback, gave it to Tony.
And have you been to Tony's house before?
No.
So there's helmets everywhere.
Like I'm talking, what, 500 probably helmets?
So I gave him the helmet.
And, you know, I made.
remember going there after I gave him the helmet like six months later and I'm like I can't wait to see where it's at in the collection and so I go down there it's not in there anywhere and I'm like dude what the heck so come to find out it's like I guess in his bedroom or on the kitchen counter like it's like really special to him but anyways he told me that he was going to give me a helmet so this was like four years ago now and so Noah is what we were hunting with Rusty we're hunting yeah and we're coming back home we're waiting on the airplane and
Tony's like, hey, I'll bring you that helmet, Noah, to Daytona, and we'll swap it out.
Yeah, because I did that helmet trade with him.
I said, hey, if you're giving out helmets, I said, I'll gladly take one finally.
It's like, yeah, absolutely.
I'll bring you one to Daytona, too.
So we get to Daytona 500 a month later, and we're in this group chat, and he says, he sends
in the group chat, hey, no, I got your helmet here if you want to come get it.
And so.
So I texted him, I was like, hey, so did you bring my helmet?
And he goes, I wanted to put more thought into it and really make it special.
So I don't have one for you this week.
I'm pretty confident that he just totally forgot.
Yeah.
So I texted Noah randomly like last week.
I said, I still got a Tony helmet.
So maybe he'll see this and finally send me a helmet.
Yeah.
Yeah, I want one pretty bad.
Start a petition.
You know, Tony did something really cool.
His last year was it 15, I think his last year was?
15 or 16.
And so every week he had a new helmet.
every single race.
And then all the cup drivers,
he would lay him out like here,
you know,
which one do you want?
So I did the same thing for Tony and Homestead.
Special helmet, like USAC wins,
Indycar,
NASCAR, all this stuff.
And like a collage of stuff,
gave him that one.
And then I walked into his bus and there was like six helmets laying out there.
He's like,
I pick which one you want.
And,
you know,
I ran here at this race,
this helmet ran this race this year.
So that was a really cool thing that he did.
kind of for the garage, you know, that year of all the competitors that he was running against that,
he had a different helmet for every single race.
So that was kind of a neat thing I thought he did.
Yeah, I can't imagine what that would be like that.
Sorry.
It's pretty cool.
Isn't it, right?
Isn't it pretty cool?
It's really bad that he hasn't given you one because you drove the 14.
You took over the car for him.
And, yeah, man, that's cold.
No, it's great.
It's definitely a highlight and a talking piece.
when people come over to my house.
I'm sure the same for Ryan.
Getting a show off our Tony Stewart helmets.
I can't speak for Ryan, but I'm very grateful for it.
Yeah, it's cool.
In front of Tony's helmet, we have a picture together, you know, that he's eye.
It's cool.
You know, so if you get one.
Must be nice.
I got the picture.
I got everything ready.
I just don't have the helmet.
Maybe one day.
Hopefully he'll see this.
What's a rare suit that you have, though?
I have a Danica suit.
Nice.
Yeah, they were at Stuart Haas.
They were just going to throw up.
away and I was like I'll gladly take this like I don't know that's good that's cool yeah I don't
I don't really have other suits it's always like I've always just traded helmets uh I haven't really
isn't it the worst when you go and you do something and you like will meet a NFL player
and they'll give them like a crew shirt or you give them a suit and they get a t-shirt yeah a t-shirt
like a t-shirt jersey it looks like it is bad but it's a t-shirt and you're like man
Not an even trade.
It's never even...
Unless you can wear that t-shirt.
You know, I'm not going to wear a jersey.
I always feel bad doing the crew shirt thing.
Yeah, the crew shirt.
Because they don't know any different sometimes.
Yeah.
But exactly, though.
They don't know the difference.
Yeah, but we do when we get that t-shirt.
Yeah, that's true.
That's true.
Yeah.
How the heck did y'all commandeer this show today?
I mean, gosh, it...
We got bald.
They asked that they needed us.
They said, hey, would you come do this?
We're pay you.
And I was like, yeah, absolutely.
Oh, well, that makes it easy.
Yeah.
Are you getting paid to do this today?
No.
No.
You guys get DAP?
I took the $30,000 check.
Me too.
Yeah.
And DAP points, dude.
Yeah, we're double dipping.
Ryan was our first choice, but the show we requested for, he was busy.
So that we had to find other people.
Oh, that's true.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Little Dale.
Well, thanks for having me, guys.
I appreciate it.
All right.
You guys have a great rest of your day.
Joy, go have a whiskey in a pouch.
We're trying to get figgy to call in.
Hi, y'all.
This Jerome and Tiff Davis.
Our new weekly podcast is out now
on Dirty Mo Rodeo's YouTube channel
and podcast platforms.
With new episodes every Thursday,
leave us a comment and a review
and come see what this cowboy life is all about.
Hope y'all come and check us out.
Until next time, adios.
All right, thanks Ryan Blaney,
for joining us. Obviously, cool to always have the winner on here. I always enjoyed listening to those.
So I guess let's get back to the Atlanta race. There's a lot of controversy there at the end.
Let's see. What else do we have? Oh, no help for Hosevar at the end.
What did you think of the Bubba penalty? I thought that it was probably right. So we talked about it in our debrief yesterday.
So I guess it's if you just cross the plane of the car
Like if you just cross the back bumper that's a penalty
And they were like what we didn't like if you cross the plane right
Like if your front bumper passes the plane of the rear bumper
And I guess their argument was you know we didn't advance position
But I felt like you did advance your position
Because you guys side by side of them
Yeah now you're side by like they improved it
Yeah like if that's not a penalty
And you wanted to say be on the bottom coming to off a turn forward
you just go down the back stretch at Daytona and Talladega
and get inside the guy and then just moving back up.
Now you'd be on the inside.
So, yeah, I thought that it was that right penalty.
It's hard, though, because it is very a lot of the time,
but I thought that one was right.
I mean, it's not the first time we've seen it.
It's probably not the last time we're ever going to see
a double yellow line penalty.
It seems like it happens every couple of years.
Yeah, I thought I was okay with that penalty.
I thought it was the right call.
Is it worth it, though, for Bubba?
Like, if you're doing it,
trying to make the move and if you can pull it off like but yeah you're trying to win the race so
I mean I don't know is when you turn really aggressively to the right it sits on the left rear yeah
and you'll spin out so it's not like it's just a situational thing in my opinion yeah I mean I think
obviously when he made the move he didn't think he was going to go below the line but when you're
making that move especially at the end and you know given the fact that you know it's host of ar and blaney it's
coming down to the checkered, like whatever you do has to be extremely aggressive and you have to
catch them off guard because they're going to try to throw a block. So I think that's why Bubba waited
until the absolute last second. You know, he turned off really aggressively. I think he just
didn't realize how far left he got. It gets really dardy when you're like that too. Also, he's trying
to get as far away from whoever that was. Yeah, so he doesn't get signed draft. Yeah, you're trying to,
yeah, you're trying to make the move super fast, but to where you just barely pull off their left
at the last second slows them down and yeah it was just one of those things where i think if he
could do it over again he probably would have done something different but at the time it's a split
second decision you're trying to win the race it's hard to um yeah you're just going through your
instinct and what your gut tells you to do see what else do we have blaney absolutely dominated
i did think that i was surprised he was able to hang on so i felt like the penske cars were all
very trimmed out you had uh legano qualify up front blaney up front and
cinder cup front and legano when he lost his track position and even cindric like i thought they
were just very pedestrian and normal where blaney was able to still carve up through there i thought
the night time definitely helped them um you know maintain i thought if it would have stayed hot and
slick our Toyota cars would have been really good um at the end no help for hosevar what'd you
think of that be careful you don't want to get booed at driver intros next week
I mean, I didn't entirely watch it.
It's, I've been more focused on how we can get our ship turned around,
but definitely an exciting finish three wide coming to the line was big.
The top side always rolls.
Yeah, the top always travels.
So Ty Gibbs is going to help Bubba no matter what,
try and push her way up there.
Like I was saying, it's kind of, once again, a situational deal.
where they're coming down.
I don't, you know, if there's somebody else right behind them,
probably pushing Hosevar teammate or something.
Yeah, I felt like there at the end,
it wasn't that nobody necessarily wanted to help him.
It's just the middle, he was by himself.
The bottom lane kind of had a little bit of momentum at the time,
but everybody's going to feed to the top lane.
I mean, if you watch the race,
you just see how much momentum the top lane carries.
So I thought we're...
Yeah, it's huge.
I thought where Hosevar lost the race was coming to take the white flag,
I don't know how he did it, but he had like a 10 car length lead.
Yeah, and got out way too far.
Yeah, just got him out way too far.
And I was surprised that he was even able to make it stay side by side
with the run that those guys behind him had being that far ahead.
So, yeah, I thought it was a great finish.
Obviously, I feel like Atlanta never disappoints.
It's always a good race and very chaotic.
I was amazed that there wasn't more wrecks.
I think I was really the only guy that DNF because of a wrecks.
So, yeah, I thought there would have been way bigger wrecks.
But Chase is getting tight.
Back to the host of our stuff, though.
What do you make of everything?
Like before the race, he's basically saying, like, if you want a war out there, bring it,
like, do you think that's smart for him to say the things that he's been saying recently
and then go out there and race and where you might need help?
I don't know.
I mean, I think that everybody kind of makes their own bed, right?
And I think, you know, Carson is going to race extremely hard on the racetrack.
So everybody kind of knows that going into it.
So I don't feel like what he says is.
I mean, we already, like, we already know that.
Yeah, there's some guys that race extremely hard.
There's other guys that, you know, aren't going to battle you as hard.
And, you know, I know that every time I get by Carson, like, it's going to be a hard race, which truthfully, I enjoy.
I hate when people complain about hard racing.
So, yeah, I don't think what he said is wrong.
I feel like it's on brand for how he races on the racetrack.
So, yeah, I don't see anything wrong with that.
Gotcha.
The chase, though, getting tight.
Thought Reddick was gone.
Nobody was going to catch him.
then I thought Denny was going to easily win the regular season.
Now it looks like, well, we got Blaney's only 65 back.
I think it's been pretty, it's amazing to me how big a win actually is now with the added bonus points.
It is a lot.
It's a lot of points.
It makes a huge difference.
You can't have a bad week or an off week.
I mean, you might be able to have one or two, but you have to be getting stage points, winning races.
I mean, but at the same time, I mean, look at the same time.
Look at the points that Denny's been able to overcome Redick over the past eight races.
Yeah, it's your overall average, obviously, right, over 26 races, but winning, I mean, I'm a perfect example.
I go from 108 points back of, I think, fifth, to winning at Chicago, and now I'm only 40 back,
and then now I'm back to 10th or 11 points.
I know.
I know.
I've just been a yo-yo in the point standings all year long, so bad points day for me, not what,
not what we were wanting on the 19 car for sure.
Where do you think you can get to by the end of the regular season?
I think, let's see, 5th 181.
I mean, I think 5th is still definitely possible.
I'm only 60 points out.
But, you know, if I just run 10th the other night,
which I felt like I could have easily done,
you know, all of a sudden I go from being 249 back to call it 211 back.
So that puts me seventh in points and only call it 15 points behind Larson.
and another 15 behind Chase.
So I think I can still get to fifth,
but I'm going to have to get a lot of stage points
and hopefully win a race or two
and hope that those guys don't win a race.
That's the thing.
If they win a race, it makes it really hard.
You know, Atlanta was a huge turning point for us,
I would say, as far as the points go,
just because it's another molligan that we've used
and we've already used too many.
So it's really going to come down to Indianapolis and Daytona.
I feel like her the two where, like,
we have to just hope that we maximize those.
Because the short tracks, I feel like it's hard to separate ourselves.
But, you know, Indy should be a great track for the Toyotas.
And then Daytona just got to hope that you have a good result and not get crashed.
And if we do that, I think we could get to fifth.
At the worst case, I hope we can get to sixth.
Larson reckoned the other night definitely at least Kepa's in the ballgame.
I think one of the goals when they created the chase was they wanted the wins,
you know, the great finishes to feel great and bad races to feel even worse.
Do you feel like after a race, you're either happier, more mad than you were in previous years?
Yes, it's the same.
1,000%.
Every race really matters.
It definitely, every race matters.
Every stage matters.
You know, for me, you know, even Sonoma, right?
Like, I ran second, and I was mad that I didn't win because those 15 bonus points would have made a big difference.
But from an overall point standpoint, in the past, if I would ran second at Sonoma, if I had already won a race,
it meant nothing.
I mean, from a point standpoint and championship standpoint,
you were really only racing for wins and that's it.
And then same vice versa.
Like if Atlanta, if I had a crash and I'd already want to race,
like does it really matter that much?
Right.
Not really.
Where now it, I mean, it stings really, really bad.
So, yeah, I think the points are awesome how they have it now.
I'm excited for the chase to start because if you have somebody that does a,
you know, Tony Stewart 2011 run where they can go win
four or five races.
Like you can come from anywhere in the points.
Like I'm looking at, you know, William Byron.
He's 12th in points right now.
If he could get hot and win four or five races,
like he could be a legitimate chance to win the championship where I feel like in
the past it would have been really hard to do that if you didn't have the 15 extra bonus
points for a win.
Yeah, that reset last year because if you had a great three run stretch but you don't win,
you just go back to the points you had.
Did nothing.
Yeah.
I love the points now.
What do you think about at the bottom who can,
make it get in and right now
Eric Jones is at the cutoff. Yeah it's going to be
interesting because I don't
I don't think the four has a
great job. We were talking about it this week
remember on the phone you're like if I could
win the next seven races in every stage
could I make I was like I think
you would be well in the top ten if you
did that so good luck
there's a chance hopefully you do it
telling me there's a chance if history repeats itself
it's not looking great
I feel like the
the chase cutoff though is going to be
just so interesting
because you're going to a lot of short tracks
so you know Lugano is going to be good
Ryan Pree should be good
Kuzlowski should be good
I feel like Ross should be pretty good too
you know I think SVG
probably struggles a little bit more on the short tracks
than the mile and a half stuff
so yeah
I just feel like the cut line is going to get
extremely just intense
you know that Eric Jones
is another one where
you just don't really ever know what
legacy i feel like you're going to get like some weeks they're top 10 super fast and other weeks
they're struggling the bigger tracks they're they've been better yeah and a halfs michigan they've been
good like indy they'll probably be pretty solid yeah they should be good there i think that's the
good thing for if i'm a legano fan it's no secret that the penske cars have struggled on the mile and a
halfs and really outside of indy you don't have anything that's not a short track so lagano should be able to
gain a ton of points over the next couple weeks.
And even Indy, Pinsky was extremely fast last year.
You go to Daytona, the Pinsky cars are going to be good.
So, yeah, if I'm one of those guys right above the cut line, I would be nervous for sure, just
given who's all behind me, because RFK is going to run good at the short tracks.
You know, Pinsky's going to run good.
And that's really what the rest of the regular season is outside of Indy and Daytona.
It's just short tracks.
So, yeah, the points are going to swing a lot, I feel like.

Who are these guys? I called you literally, I think last night.
I'm like, I have no idea who these guys are.
They're just influencers, I guess.
And they just go to Costco, and you said,
And they just feel good.
Yeah, I don't even really know.
Would you know better?
I assumed you knew.
I mean, that was just aura farming everywhere we go.
You know, you got to do something that stay relevant these days, you know.
So, yeah, there's A.J., Big Justice.
They're cool.
So I originally met the Rizzler down in Daytona.
Yeah, big Rizzer fan.
Really cool kid.
What did he say?
You got to tighten up the cheeks?
So, yeah, he said.
He said, you got to raise your eyebrows, close your mouth, and suck your cheeks in.
That's it.
Riz face.
I think you nailed it.
How did I look?
You look great.
Do I look like the Rizzler?
Just like him.
If I didn't know any better, I think the Rizzler is sitting here beside me.
And then I filmed this, I guess, NASCAR film that they were going to do for promotion.
it didn't end up going out.
But I met the Costco guys, and then they came to the race.
And people love them, and they're yelling, that's five big booms the whole time.
What is a big boom?
Why five?
I'm going to be straight up.
I don't know five big booms.
Boom!
That's what they do.
Yeah.
Either way, they're just, their fan favorites have been in the past.
Yeah, it's cool to have them out there.
All righty.
That's the big boom.
That's the big boom.
Next question I would know, what are you guys' top five candy bars?
Ooh, top five candy bars?
Do you like candies?
I like candy, but I wouldn't say candy bars per se.
Oh, you can get me on that.
I don't know.
Top five?
Chase is actually a big candy bar guy.
We were in Las Vegas.
doing some race promotion this year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway before the race beginning.
We decided to drive down together to Phoenix right before the Phoenix race.
And he goes in the gas station and gets a Hershey's Bar, plain Hershey's Bar.
I'm like that.
Apparently it's wild work.
That is wild work.
That's foul to me.
Just a plain Hershey Bar.
Well, it was pretty hot out driving to the desert.
and he had left it up on the dash and it melted.
It was like melted in a matter of a minute and a half.
And now it's all twisted up.
It looked like super jagged and stuff.
It looked like a crumbled up piece of paper, basically.
Pretty much, yeah.
And he then I said, well, put it in front of the AC and let it cool off.
So it hardens like that.
Yeah.
And then I look, I drove later and throughout the weekend.
and in the passenger seat,
there's just crumbs of Hershey Bar
everywhere.
It was melted to the passenger seat everywhere.
And so, so,
top five candy bars.
Or what's one of your favorites?
All right.
I like Hershey bars, but...
Like, there's no way you're going into a gas station.
That's your first pick.
No, my first tiaboleical.
My first pick is not a candy bar,
but if we're just talking candy,
is probably the trolley-sour gummy worms.
those things have you guys ever had trolley eggs
not have the eggs
you know the gummy worm to trolley yeah
they're eggs and it's like a gummy worm inside
but it's got a hard shell in their little
little eggs dude I used to get them all the time
as a kid uh I would I would walk to the gas station
or I had this little chopper bicycle
oh I had one of those too with ape hangers
dude I used to ride that in California all the time man
I just I bought I saved up my money
um
They have a little weed eater motor on it?
No.
Do you remember like the little mini crotch rockets that had like a little weed eater motor?
Yeah, those were sick.
I always wanted one of those so badly.
I just saw a dude on one the other day in Greenville, South Carolina.
Shout out Greenville Pickens, of course.
Yeah, we got to save Greenville Pickens.
We got to save Greenville.
Shout out NASCAR will.
They have Mountain Dew trolley?
Look at that.
Yeah, trolley, sour bright eggs.
Those are fire.
You guys ever have shockers back in the day?
Oh, yeah.
Those were fire as well.
I used to get those out of the treasure box.
I was in...
The treasure box?
Yeah.
At school.
Well, it was actually...
Speaking of school, I didn't realize you went to military school.
Yeah, I did.
I did.
I had some learning challenges as well on top of some behavioral corrections that I needed as a younger preteen.
Yeah, younger lad.
Just that was a handful as a kid.
Really?
I would have never, never guessed that.
I thought I was a pretty good kid.
but what's military school like uh it was cool so i went to this place called army navy navy academy
uh in california and it was interesting i was probably one of the best behaved kids there's no way
there's no i'm dead ass i swear and like dude i was class president seventh and eighth grade
got everybody to vote for you yeah i was uh i was off i said player of the year i was uh i was off i'd
player of the year in 2013.
What did you run on? What was your stance?
For what?
Trolley eggs for everybody.
Yeah, like to be a class president.
What was your campaign?
I used to be so fat.
Well, I was just like, I guess a role model for the other kids in my grade, you know?
And I was a leader for them and for our class.
It really didn't mean.
I was going to say, where did you lead them to?
The playground?
No, we didn't have.
playground. But, you know, when you got there, you had two options. You could either do the right
thing and you get rewarded for that. So they have merits and demerits. You got to go to the treasure box.
No, this is before that. I'll get to the treasure box story. So you had merits and demerits.
And if you got like one demerit, it was like 30 minutes of marching around a rectangle in the
middle of the school, basically. And the dorms were on campus.
Um, but if you got merits, like if you did, they do room inspection. They do also, if your uniform looks good,
you had ways to earn merits as well. Um, so I didn't really have to march too much. Um,
I did get a lot of merits and you could go into town on Thursdays, but if you got like 40 merits,
they were somewhat difficult to earn. You would be able to go into town on Tuesday. So we'd go get a
burrito or something. The food was absolutely
inedible in the cafeteria there.
So I went there as a fat-ass
little 11 or 12-year-old.
No trolley eggs in your backpack.
No trolley eggs whatsoever.
They did have a student store
and I would get...
Oh, I got to Hershey Bar.
No, no, they would have
like ramen and they would have
bugles was another hit.
Some kids would get like seaweed
chips, which I thought was really
gross. But they had
a little bit of everything. You get a chocolate milk
if you wanted to. I can just picture you with
bugles all over your fingers. Yeah, playing
Xbox? Yeah, just spam an A. Yeah.
I mean,
there's just this one good, so I snuck
my PlayStation into
military school. All right,
we need the backstory on this. Okay,
so. Just smuggle that thing in there?
So we had, so there's
two guys to a room
and
you had your bunk bed,
and underneath you had a desk and then your closet area.
It was really small.
It's like a dorm room.
Yeah, exactly, like a dorm room.
And so we, I bought this like kind of chair like this would be like more like an office chair
because it was just like a wooden chair in there.
And I took the box of the office chair and I cut holes in it and I hid my PlayStation in there
and I had a TV that I told them that I would like a little monitor.
and dude we rigged this thing up it was badass well i can't imagine how nervous you were for room inspection
oh dude i had this thing so hidden in there like i was it was it was awesome well this other kid
ryan that was from Vegas he went to the same school his his parents had had enough of him
as well um he ended up telling so they had like older classmen like the seniors we were in
7th through 12th grade and he told like the we were an echo company so the leader of echo
company his name was montsevice he was he was a senior um at the school and for some reason ryan
told montevice that he had a playstation like yeah i think he was trying to buddy up with them and
he was like hey man if you ever want to like come play play PlayStation with us like come to our room
i have one he's like yeah if you want to keep that here you owe me a hundred dollars a week
So, Ryan,
Yeah. And so, Ryan got scammed out of $100 a week and none of us else did.
But we used to play all sorts of stuff.
I got a racing simulator, like a Logitech.
You had that in there too?
Yeah, dude, I had all this stuff so hidden.
And I was one of the better kids because, you know, when you get there, you have the opportunity.
It's a fork in the road.
You can do the right thing and you get rewarded.
You can do the wrong thing.
And you're going to be marching around that square.
So, um, all in all, there was like, clearly you're doing the right thing, smuggling in playstations and
Yeah.
I don't think we had, um, DoorDash as a kid.
I just want to, I can just picture you in your room, like before you're going there, just like,
tucking this thing into your backpack.
No, I waited a couple months.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I first got there.
Uh, I basically went with, um, just me and my cell phone.
I had a charger as well.
And then when I got done there after two years,
the amount of like just that we had in there,
I mean, PlayStation's and racing steering wheels.
You said it was a small room.
I'm trying to picture how you fit all this in there and hide it.
You got to get creative, man.
You got to get creative.
Apparently so.
It was, I mean, we didn't have that much stuff,
but, you know, we decorate for, you know, Christmas, hang up lights and stuff.
And do we had our whole room decked out.
I won, not only was I a class president, I had a lot of achievements at that school.
I don't want to say I'm like the guy they still talk about there as a seventh and eighth grader, but.
You're in the ring of honor?
I would say I did have like a lot of achievements there between I won.
best room for the Christmas
PlayStation award. Yeah, who voted on that
you and Ryan? All the
all the adults like the
supervisors. They're like all the kids
go to the room. Yeah, everybody loves to go to the room. It must be
really nice. Let's vote him. Yeah.
And so I mean, dude, some of these kids
wouldn't do laundry and they just
I mean when you're a 12 year old kid you're starting to hit puberty
and it just is
They just stink. They're not wearing deodorant.
It was just an absolute nightmare.
I looked like a Ferrari in that thing.
Like, I had my stuff together in there.
Some of these kids were disasters.
You talk to anybody that you went to school with there?
Yeah, so my roommate, Tristan Fleming, after San Diego, we drove up to Newport,
and I met up with him and got to see him.
So that was really cool.
He owns Alumacraft race cars, which they do a lot of sand cars for Glamis and the Dunes and stuff.
So they've been, he's been building those, which is really cool.
And yeah, I still keep up with him.
I keep up with a couple guys from there, a couple teachers as well.
Shout out Ashley Walker.
Actually, Miss Walker to me, Ashley Walker to all you guys.
She was my eighth grade English teacher.
You know how you always have that one teacher throughout grade school that really stands out?
I don't want to say she went above and beyond, but she was really good at her job.
She did go above and beyond, actually.
but the other teachers just didn't take it as serious as Ms. Walker did,
and she was more of a mentor and a life coach and really cared for us, us students.
So big shout out to her, Mr. Segovia.
He's really cool.
I know Tristan still talks to him.
I'm basically saying stuff that you don't understand because you didn't go there.
But all in all, it was.
I was time to send the candy bars or how we got here.
Because I would go to the student store and I would buy different stuff.
I would get beef jerky.
That was a jacklings was really good back in the day.
Have you ever had a California burrito?
No.
So a California burrito has carnia soda in it.
You got cheese.
You got guac, sour cream.
I would tell them, you know what?
Hold the guac.
Hold the guac, yeah.
Just hold the guac.
And the place we went is called Sessies.
They're closed down now.
But that place was good in Carl's bed.
There was knockout peasant.
Pizza and Knockout Burger.
Those were kind of the highlights.
But you got sour cream, cheese, carnia sada, guacamole.
But you also have French fries in the burrito.
And the French fries were a game changer.
It's really good.
And a tortilla, of course.
But really, really good burritos.
The Mexican food in California is way better than the Mexican food here in North Carolina.
I'm just going to try to steer us back.
I don't know how we got from candy bars to California burritos.
Anyways, the best part...
This is a normal conversation with Noah, though.
The best part are the memories that I made from military school and the friendships that I made.
And I did learn a lot.
I mean, I would fly by myself at like 11 years old.
I was an unaccompanied minor adult.
You had the little necklace on it?
No, I didn't even have to wear that because I was so self-sufficient.
It's pretty legit.
Like, I never had to get, like, escorted or anything.
Like, I would just do it all by myself.
We'd get this thing called a super shuttle.
and we'd shuttle from the school down to the San Diego airport.
I would fly back to Vegas.
I started racing Bandoleros.
Seventh grade spring break year started racing Bandaleros,
and that's how I kind of got into racing.
And then people would tease me a little bit in school,
calling me the Mario Kart kid and stuff.
You showed them.
Making fun of me.
But asking me for autographs, just making fun of me.
But now they're worth like, now they're worth a little bit.
At $4.
No.
like 35 cents on eBay
my autograph, but...
Oh, I was thinking it was shipping.
They're 435.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, the shipping and handling costs.
But you know what?
All in all, I enjoyed it.
The worst part was having to do like the parades at the end of the year
and we'd be in this hot wool coat with these white pants.
Dude, I'm telling you...
I looked spiffy, bro.
Yeah, no, I wasn't in, I wasn't in, uh, honor guard or whatever it was called
where they would spin it, but I was the guide on, so I'd hold the flag.
and I'd be with like I'd be the one out front
We need to have you do that at a race
No it's not
You guys don't have the discipline to be able to
To organize that
It would just be too much man
You guys don't have the discipline in life to
For all that
But that would suck having to stand there for like three hours
And the heat at the end of the year
One time I just straight out
Hit the death
You flopped out
I flopped out yeah
Because when you're standing there
You have your knee straight
You know when you're standing there
So they would always tell you, like, kind of bend your knees a little bit so you can get blood flow.
Well, kids would start flopping out at, like, the one hour mark.
And these things were, like, three hours long.
And you just, and we had these big bucket hats.
It kind of looked like a Cam Newton hat with like this, like, palm palm on the front of it.
Look like a unicorn.
Dude, it was goofy.
Look up, um, Jamie, pull that up, uh, Army Navy Academy.
I just can't picture you standing still for three hours.
dude it was it took everything in me man
I was so bored I would like
I would just like
I would love to know the thoughts running through you know
okay um
maybe um
not really seeing it
um
yeah right yeah yeah
no in the middle
yeah those see the palm palms and stuff
yeah dude those coats were so hot
do you have a picture of this anywhere
I have it
that's what we took my school picture
that everybody's been
teasing me about
But, you know, that's a part of my life.
That's a chapter in my life that I'm grateful for because I learned a lot about myself.
I can't imagine if you didn't have that discipline instilled in you.
Yeah, look at that.
Dude, that's sick.
We had to wear the gloves.
Do you still have the sword?
Yeah, you should have that.
No, that was just a photo op, man.
I think if you're a senior, you got the sword.
But you see those cords on my, forget what they're called, but around my shoulders.
Yeah.
Those are also more achievements that I got.
No big deal.
Just light work.
You know, you are...
This is a normal day.
You kind of carried a little bit of...
You're kind of splashing on them when you have those cords on your shoulder.
Bring that thing back.
All right.
Next question.
People want to know, and you mentioned this earlier,
what's dad life with when it's just you and the twins?
Well, the last two days have been the first time it's ever been just me and the twins.
normally, you know, Brooks is there too if Marissa goes and does something.
So it was, it was interesting, like being able to see just the twins,
because normally Brooks is there too.
So they're kind of all three interacting.
And just watching the twins interact, it was a wild experience for me, truthfully,
because I've never seen just them together, you know, for, you know, more than a couple, you know, 30 minutes or whatever.
We were together for a day and a half and it was just them.
So just getting to see them interact and play with each other.
It was very eye-opening.
But yeah, twin life is no joke.
I was talking to J.P. Morris yesterday.
I was like, how's dad life of two now?
He's like, man, it's hard.
And he's like, but I have no idea.
Like, you guys went from one to three.
We just went one to two.
And one to three is definitely a big jump.
It's crazy having twins just how different they are personality-wise.
We have boy girl twins.
and the boy and the girl could not be more polar opposite.
And so it's just crazy to see, like, their development.
And then just how they are personality-wise, you're a twin, too.
Yeah, shout out twins.
Are you and your sister like that?
Yeah, I would say we're quite a bit opposite.
But we do have, like, a lot in common as well that we kind of look like.
I've never met her, I don't think.
Riley told me she is just like you, personality-wise.
And I cannot fathom that.
Yeah, we butt-head.
quite a bit.
Did she go to military school or no?
No, no, it was all boys' school.
You know what was crazy getting back onto military school?
Is the kids there?
Like, you know how I told you?
Like, I was one of the better kids.
I'll just, like, tell you.
I wasn't like, I would go to the skate park as a kid, like, quite a bit, but I would, like,
wear a helmet.
I was, like, a good kid at the skate park.
I didn't wear wrist guards or anything, but, like, there'd be kids.
You should have wore shin guards.
That's probably where I got shoes.
There'd be kids, like, doing, like, bad stuff, like, spray painting and, like,
using narcotics.
I was never in there.
I was just there for the love of
skating.
You know,
I wanted to be the next Tony Hawk.
I used to have a stuffed animal
that I named Tony
because I liked Tony Hawk.
No, it was actually a Webkins.
It was a monkey.
Dude,
Webkins used to right back of the day.
Yeah.
I was so far that.
Club Penguin.
Yeah, club.
I had like 30 puffles,
bro.
I had the two-story house
where it's just a step.
You go to the,
what was it,
the dojo or whatever?
Yeah, dude,
just hitting on, like,
She's talking to, you're like, hey, you're like crazy.
You're like, crazy at military school.
Anyway, some of these kids, when I got to military school, it was kind of like going to the skate park.
I was one of the good kids, and there's kids, like, they would do crazy stuff.
They would, like, a lot of kids smoke cigarettes there in, like, seventh grade.
I'd never seen anything like this, like, because I was just there at the skate park for the love of the game.
I didn't hang out in the corner with the guys doing narcotics.
but the kids would smoke cigarettes
and the way they would be able to smoke the cigarettes at school,
they would go in the shower and turn the steam,
like the shower heat all the way up.
And they would smoke cigarettes in there.
That's for the love of the game.
I mean, I got a lot of stories about military school.
I'm not going to necessarily share them right now,
but maybe one day when we start our podcast that I'll be able to share them.
Yeah, it would be good.
Yeah. All right, what's you got next, Travis?
Next question is, what's a guilty pleasure song that you like to listen to a song?
A guilty pleasure song, yeah.
What? A song?
Yeah.
Like a guilty pleasure song?
Like, is there a song that, like, you like that, like, that no one else's likes, but you like, and you put on in the car when you're alone or whatever?
Bro, who asked a guilty pleasure song?
Why don't you just say your favorite song?
No, because there's some that, like,
You're embarrassed to play it, but you love it.
No, I don't get embarrassed.
Beethoven Symphony. No, Carmen Sweets 2, Symphony,
Symphony or whatever, however you say that word?
That's a really good song.
No idea.
Jamie, pull that up.
Carmen Sweet's number two, please?
We can't listen to it, so I can't pull it up.
Because of copyright?
Yeah.
Oh, man.
I don't know what a guilty pleasure song.
Yeah, I never heard that.
Like, I know a guilty pleasure snack.
Like, I've been Macin sometimes like a snow cone lately.
from like pelicans
snowballs you know
they have really nice
snow cone ice
it's like snow not just ice chips
yeah there's nothing worse than a bad snow cone
and the ice cream guy
or gal has been coming cool cats ice cream
oh yeah she's been rolling through the hood lately
with the with the noise thing playing the speaker
dude you ever get a little melody with the birds
you ever get the ice cream but that's a guilty pleasure
like a dessert's like a guilty pleasure where you're like
I know this isn't good for me but I'm still doing it
Yeah, I've never done that with a song.
Me either.
So that's why I kind of got mixed up.
Yeah, the song would be tough.
Can we just do favorite song?
Is that okay?
Do a favorite song?
Ooh, favorite song.
My favorite song, personally, is The Mockingbird and the Crow by Hardy.
That's a good song.
I feel like one of my...
I'm not a word listener.
Are you a crow guy or a mockingbird?
I'm definitely a crow guy.
Yeah, I figured.
But they want me?
But not 5.30 in the morning.
No.
I would say my song, I've always enjoyed.
wood motley crew so like wild side have you seen the dirt yeah just so good it is good or like
take me to the top yeah i feel like something motley crew is something that i probably don't listen to it
all the time but when i do i'm like oh yeah this is a good song it is it gets you hyped you know it does it's
normally my bristol walkout is normally a motley crew song of some sort mine is uh mockingbird
the crow three minutes 25 seconds in it says let's hear do this
Do that, do this.
Unclench your fist.
You're too proud.
You're too loud.
You're too proud.
It won't work.
We'll tell that to 25,000 rednecks with my dumb face on their t-shirt.
Because, like, my whole career, I've been a little bit different and outgoing compared to most guys in the garage.
And that always said, hey, man, you basically don't do this, don't do that.
And I feel like I have good support.
friend of fans.
Yeah.
I'm very grateful.
And it's been pretty cool.
You know, so.
Fan favorite.
I,
fan vote winner, what?
Four years in a row?
Yeah,
we'll call it three and a half,
unofficial fourth in a row.
Chase,
back to the music,
do you get to play your own music
or is Brooks and the twins
have like all the kid music
playing at the house?
Brooks likes Hardy.
So he'll listen to...
No, that one word.
Oh, yeah, Brailin, I think.
Is who says that?
It's like you can touch.
Yeah, he likes that song.
So Brooks has a little playlist, and it's a good playlist that I listen to.
And the twins, like, we listen to a lot of Force Frank.
So that's a top one for us.
And then Brooks listens to, he listens to Force Frank.
Should have been a cowboy, hunting fish and loving every day,
country girls shake up for me, five o'clock somewhere,
Chattahoochee, and there's one other song that's like his playlist.
And so it's a pretty good little playlist.
that's normally going on.
Nice.
Ooh, I like Meek Mill as well.
Meek Mill.
That's your guilty.
Philly anthem.
It should be a national anthem.
Like if we came up with a,
like a side piece song for the national anthem.
Side piece song for the national anthem.
Yeah, just like a kind of like a
encore.
I think it should be Dreams and Nightmare by Meek Mill.
That is also one of my favorite songs.
It gets me hyped up.
I really enjoy it.
Really?
No, I'll have to go listen to it.
You have?
Yes, you've heard this.
Phantom so big it can't even fit in the parking spot.
I don't know.
Maybe I have.
I don't say a word.
I don't say a word.
You don't sound like I'm sure how it sounds, but.
My Maybach music.
I have no idea.
Keep going.
No, I do really enjoy that song.
I used to pray for times like this, you know, so it's good.
You know, that's a great song.
21 Savage is also great.
Do you like 21?
I've heard of 21 21 21 21 21st is a great Sunday best is a great song
who sings it I don't know I'm not great with like faces and names
not that the singers kind of like a radio person like you know their voice more than
but I'm not like if you ask me who's in that movie or who sings this song I I'm really
bad at that that's that's actually one of my one of my things you gotta work on yeah
One of my weaknesses that I'm very vulnerable about, and I'm willing to talk about it.
Well, denial is the first step.
I'm open about it.
I don't have a problem with that.
But at the same time, it is something that I've been really working on lately.
Just grinding through Spotify or what?
No, I'm not a Spotify guy.
And this is going to be a hot take, but I'm an Apple music guy.
I'm a soundcloth.
You know what I've been getting into is the mixes?
like big booty mix and stuff,
is really fire.
You ever listen to those?
It's like where they remix all the songs together.
Yeah, they like mash them.
Yeah,
we listen to it on the way to Phoenix.
It's pretty fire, though, right?
Yeah, it's pretty good.
And it's like uplifting, you know,
good tempo.
I'm a Pindora guy.
I'm Pandora.
People hate on Pandora.
It's perfect.
It's like the radio and commercials.
Yeah, you just need more than six skips,
I feel like, if you're going to listen to it for a while.
Well, buddy.
Chase, you can afford the pretty good money.
You can, yeah.
It drives me nuts.
I paid $8.99 the other night for Paramount plus.
and just watch Connor McGregor fight for five seconds.
But you can afford to just get the...
I don't listen to it enough, though, to justify the spin.
Dude, it's like five bucks.
What is Pandora Plus or whatever they call it?
Pandora Premium.
Did I used to listen to this one station in high school in photography class?
$120 a year, Chase.
Ooh, that's a little much.
That's a little bit of high.
Tell yourself this.
Next win, you're going to treat yourself with premium Panthers.
All right, bricks.
No more instruments.
We're getting Pandora Premium.
Dude, I got some stupid a shit as radio stations on Pandora now that I'm scrolling through them all.
Oh, I used to listen to Coldplay Radio.
That's what it was.
Coldplay.
I used to love Coldplay Radio.
And then they would have, like, other songs on there that you...
I like finding music on Pandora.
Because, like, a song will come up and you're like, this is a great song.
and then I'll put it to my Apple music.
I've got a little bit of beef with Pandora when I've used it.
I joke with Marissa all the time.
You can be on any radio station.
It can be a Christian one.
It can be rock and roll.
It can be like jock jams.
A Morgan Wallen song is going to be in the first three.
No.
For us, I don't know, every single time.
I listen to a different way.
I don't have any channel.
I don't have any of those.
Mine are different.
Mine's like 21 Savage.
You can also pick,
Like, if you're on a station, do you want just that artist or if you want...
I didn't...
Well, that's just...
That's the premium.
Yeah, I don't have that option on...
Next wind chase.
Just treat yourself.
All right, you guys want to hear my recent radio stations.
Sublime radio, Jack Johnson Radio, heading south radio.
21 Savage, Chief Keith Radio, Post Malone.
90s alternative radio.
Zach Bryant Radio.
Trapp rap.
Trap Raps Fire.
Green Day.
Green Day kind of gets over...
Shout out. Blink 182 radio, Gunna radio, Skizzy Mars radio.
Then if I'm like...
He's Ski-Mars.
Bro, they're good. He's good.
Johnny Cash.
But I've been playing a lot of harmonica lately.
So I've been listening to songs and like...
Yeah, Skizzy's awesome.
I like Skizzy Mars.
I've never heard of him a day in my life.
Sorry, Ski-Dooley.
I need to build a playlist for Chase.
Oh, I'll build you.
You want?
What kind of vibe do you want?
No, you just build it.
Just build it and surprise me.
Yeah.
No Skizzy, though, because I don't know Skizzy.
No, Skizzy's good, dude.
If you got a heater from Skizzy, you can put it on there.
Yeah.
He doesn't have many, but I got some good, like, SoundCloud links I'll send you.
Okay.
I think that might be a good spot in this segment.
Why?
No, we need more questions.
Yeah, give us at least one more.
One more question here.
Um, what was your first big purchase?
Speaking of spending money, that's a good one.
I know mine.
Mine was, uh, when I went cup racing, I'd always loved, uh, like the 1950s, Ford F100s,
like with just the huge fenders and everything.
So when I went cup racing, my rookie year, I went and bought a 1956 Ford F100.
And I barely drive it.
I don't know why.
I know. Having multiple cars is not.
It's, yeah, you can't, you only drive one at once.
Yeah, and then you're just going to drive the reliable one.
Yeah, like the battery's always dead on it.
Like the air conditioning doesn't really work in it.
It's hot.
Yeah, so it's like, it has to be a 75 and sunny day for you to be like, I'll take that thing out.
And then you're driving and you're like, man, I hope the brakes work.
Hope the steering doesn't fall apart on this thing.
That's how I feel too.
On Sundays.
My first big purchase, now I'm feeling insecure after hearing chases.
Yeah, I wouldn't say like I, I splash too much.
I remember being here at Junior Motorsports,
and I told myself when I was racing here,
next race I win, I'm going to get a pair of chunky dunk shoes.
and they're like $1,200.
They're my favorite pair of shoes.
So we're kind of in different tax brackets on our purchases.
After you, that's what came to mind before you answered.
And then now that you answered, I'm feeling a little self-conscious about my decision to say the shoes.
So.
To a hundred of our pair of shoes, though, it's a lot.
Yeah.
I know.
He won't even buy Pandora Premium.
I know.
But he'll buy an expensive vehicle.
Nicole and put zero down at 9% interest.
No, that got paid off right away.
What other purchases I know?
Let's see if we can help you out here.
I don't own a house.
I just been trying to stack my paper lately, you know, so.
So you've written?
Yeah, I've always rented.
I didn't know that.
Yeah, I probably, I mean, looking back,
I probably should have, like, tried to buy something back in the day.
But I'm building a place right now, but I'd say,
I
You bought a lot of golf clubs
How many golf clubs do you think you own?
Because they ain't cheap
Yeah, I probably have like 15 putters
Yeah
10 different drivers
They're not cheap either
Like that's kind of
I enjoy that
Like how many head covers you think you have?
I got a lot of head I'm a head cover
Fanatic
Fien
I like them
I like the head covers man
It's a it's kind of like
a helmet like painting a helmet i i think i've probably went golfing with you 30 call it 30 to 40 times
all 30 or 40 times you bought a head cover wherever we play yeah it's a good good way to remember um
where you're at it's a good way to show uh your personality on the course we were at wayne
county's finest in michigan and you even i think it was Wayne county i don't know where we
jackson's jackson county's finest yeah this place the grass is actually pretty nice up there though
The fairway in the green was all the same.
How about that stretch you went on where you were like...
Four, five pars in a row.
Yeah, that was crazy.
I normally shoot maybe one par in three rounds.
It was electric.
He was playing so good.
So envious.
I think it costs, what, $12 to play 18 there?
Yeah, it was cheap.
It was nice.
It's hard to do in this world these days, you know?
The head cover costs more than the round of golf.
Yeah, it's just inflation.
Just inflation, you know?
but, man, big purchase.
I bet your golf clubs cost more than the F-100 did.
I mean, how nice is the F-100?
We can't trust it to break or anything, so.
It's less than $35,000.
There's no way I have $35,000 in golf clubs.
Just one putter's like $1,500, and you have $30,000.
What are you buying golf clubs?
What's the cheapest butter you have?
No.
Yeah, you do.
No.
Yeah, you do.
I think I buy it.
I think I got scammed.
Okay.
I bought a circle tea.
You're about to start backpedaling all the way back to that wall.
No, I'm not.
I bought a circle tea off this website.
I thought something was fishy because it's only like 350 bucks.
And it came.
Is this $350?
Yeah, for a circle tea.
I don't know what it was getting such a good deal,
but I'm pretty sure it's fake because it doesn't look real.
Well, I haven't said it.
Probably check out.
Like just the quality looks like.
Shout out Scotty Cameron.
I was able to.
So I had a guy who worked on my car in the K&N series out west.
His name's Denny Moyer.
His daughter is Scotty Cameron's executive assistant.
So when we were in San Diego, they're right up the road from San Diego.
We got to go to where they built all the putters.
And it was really cool to see all that.
So I would say, sorry, I'm kind of taking my time on this on a big purchase.
I
I did buy
I went to this autograph session
last year in Kansas
and I was sitting there
and there's a single cab F150
I was just about to say you got like seven vehicles
and I was sitting there
and they had these exhaust pipes
that came out the side so I'm like
that's not normal
that's got to be something special
so I said what is this thing
and the guy's like
man
I'm doing an autograph session
there.
Unpaid, just for the love of the game.
Ended up having to pay to go to the autograph session
because I'm like, fire this thing up.
I want to hear how this sounds.
He's like, oh, it's a 5-0 supercharged.
I didn't know what sleeper trucks are,
but now I do.
And he fired it up, and then he's like,
you got to go drive it around.
So I'm driving this shit out of this thing down these streets in Kansas.
And Duluth, not Duluth.
I forget the name of the,
the town I was in.
It doesn't matter, yeah.
And I'm ripping it up through these streets,
dude, driving the shit out of this thing.
It's got like 100 miles on it.
So it's definitely not broken in.
Just rod checking it.
Yeah, and I'm like,
this thing's pretty cool.
And it was like half the price of a Raptor R
for like 700 horsepower.
I was like,
it can't be that.
So I ended up getting it right there on the spot.
You don't make irrational,
irasional purchases at all.
I don't.
That was like the only time.
I've really like splashed.
Okay.
You know.
Yeah.
I don't know about that, but you tell yourself whatever you want.
Yeah.
I'm pretty modest.
I feel like gambling.
I'm from Vegas.
Like, I don't go there to make money.
I'll go there.
I'll take two, three hundred bucks out.
Play with that all night.
Yeah.
You know, sometimes it goes quick.
Sometimes it's like how Dover was.
Yeah, Dover was quick.
Where you can spend it quick.
and then it's like, where did that go?
Yeah, but you had fun and you tried your best.
Yeah.
I think that's a good spot.
All right.
Speaking of helmets,
you want to do a helmet trade?
Are we doing this on this part?
Yeah, let's do it.
All right.
I haven't wrote anything on mine,
but you want to go get yours real quick?
Yeah.
Are we getting up and doing it?
Jamie, pull that helmet up.
No, the other, the white one.
All right.
thing you got sitting right here yeah i'm prepared
so i had aschase
i've done a couple helmet trades with my good friends
like tony riley
tony stewart um
who else have i done a helmet trade
Travis pastrano that's a sick one uh Zane
Todd
and now to uh to do a
even i've never swapped helmets
you've given i've given a helmet Tony but i never
got one back so it wasn't a full swap so this is your first swap that's my first swap yeah this
the first one well here's a helmet that i've been wearing this year and i wanted to give it to you
and we've become really good friends throughout the years i haven't wrote anything on it yet um
that's a sick but a little little chrome little chrome piece austin poland we're both getting our
helmets painted by austin poland now so um yeah the chrome dome is sick um it got
chipped on the back so it has a little bit of character
it's all right I just saw that
this week and I was like that's why I'm
getting that one what no
I think it's kind of cool it is cool
it's like character I like the character on it
but I still need to write something all I have is a ballpoint right here
oh let's not do a ballpoint pin on it
what should I write? You can
wait if you want to write something
yeah I'll probably wait
Jamie hold that Sharpie
I'll probably wait
so this is uh
actually the helmet that was the last year at
SHR, the Mahindra Tractors one.
So this would have been a teammate helmet to yours.
That was the year I did a lot of
of sprint car racing and dirt racing with Mahindra.
So I told him to put dirt and all kinds of stuff on it.
But yeah, this will be the only helmet outside of Tony Stewart
that I've ever given away.
Well, you're not giving it away.
You're trading.
I'm trading it.
Yeah, at least getting one back.
I gave one away to Tony.
Yeah, the allotment count is still the same.
Yeah.
So there you go.
Let's go.
I think it's cool.
The helmets.
I've always really been into helmet art.
I got some chip on the back of mine, too, for you.
Oh, yeah, you do.
I think it's cool with, like, the...
Oh, dang.
It's really chipped up here.
That's probably from getting out.
Yeah, hitting it on the...
Yeah.
On the little latch.
Yeah.
But super cool.
Let's see what you said.
Noah, you are a piece of...
He didn't write that.
You do a...
have some trash ass handwriting ever. Noah, we may have not, I am very dyslexic. Can we get back?
I never finish that story. I'm very dyslexic in the treasure box. We'll get to that later. Either
way, I've had a big learning disability and dyslexia and reading comprehension, kind of my whole
career and life. And so just bear with me. I've gotten better at it, but that's another thing I'm
very vulnerable about that I'm willing to express, you know. Noah, we may not. We may not
have started out on the best terms but you all made to decipher it for you yeah can you read it
yeah all right noah we may have not started out on the best terms but proud and happy to call you
one of my best friends today keep being you and i signed it let's go actually a fun fact i have a helmet
uh with chase's picture on it that i run in the cup series oh yeah you yeah so um chase has become a
a great friend of mine.
His family is awesome
and glad to call you, buddy.
Thank you.
Look at us now.
Hosting the Dell Jr.
Download.
I know.
All right, guys.
Thank you.
That's it?
Yeah, that's it.
For this segment.
We still got another two hours to go.
We still have another segment.
Anyways,
Expendity is waving the red flag
on the internet price hikes
and raising the green flag for savings.
Now you get the speed
and reliable Wi-Fi you need
locked in at one price for five years.
No surprises,
no light yellow is just a straight shot to victory lane and just like that folks we've got a winner
exfinity imagine that getting back to where i was talking about like the treasure box
so i had to go to this um i don't want to call it after school program but i struggled with reading
comprehension as a kid i really didn't like reading very much and i'm dyslexic so reading was
very hard for me and i was always like so screwed when they would like pop pop
Popcorn me, you know popcorn?
Where they're like, you read a paragraph.
Yeah, that was the worst.
And then they'd be like, popcorn, I want Noah to read next.
Were you acting like you were asleep or like that out?
No.
Popcorn was the worst.
Would you ever like, and I was like try and go to the bathroom.
I wasn't really a big bathroom trip taker during class.
A dirt popcorn.
When we were reading.
If you know like, okay, I'm going to be 10th in line.
What am I going to have to read?
And you start pre-read what you have to read before it gets to you.
Dude, literally it would be like, the dog, what was, and I'd read really quiet and be really, at the time, I was very insecure about it. Now that I'm an adult and there's more things that matter in life than being a good reader. I do read books to the now.
Really? Yeah. What's the last book you read? It was called. Was it with me in Las Vegas in the second grade class? It was Brooks's book.
No, it's not. I've been reading, I've been reading Not Today by Mike Avala.
I've heard of it.
Well, you should download.
Jamie, order him one from Amazon, please.
Order them a book.
An audio book doesn't count as reading.
It's not an audiobook.
It's paperback.
I don't even do Kindle or nothing.
All right.
Or anything.
That's not proper grammar.
I really liked math as a kid.
I was a math guy.
I was very good at math.
Nine times nine.
49?
Oh, 81, dude.
Nailed it.
So good at math.
Jamie, cut that out.
Not even close.
It would have been one thing if you're like 72, I would have maybe got it.
No, I'm scatterbrain right now. Give me another one. Give me a time stable.
See, that goes back to the paperback.
That goes back to the paperback. I'm not like, what is it?
12 divided by 6.
2. 7 times 4.
28? Yeah. 7 times 6.
I always struggled with this one.
42.
I was getting there. But I always struggled with
um six plus seven
and i always struggle with that's not a six seven joke
that's not i struggle with that and i struggled with
five plus seven 12
i know for some reason i always have to be like seven
i could whatever reason i wish i could go back in time
and pay money to watch you take a test
we should send noa back to seventh grade
well you would get actually sure are you smarter than a fifth grade no you would
actually get a lot of bang for your buck because
You would, you would, you would get a long performance out of me because I was able to, um, get extra time during my test.
Oh, yeah.
You know?
What's, all right.
We're just completely going all through.
Okay.
So anyways, real quick.
Now, I was going to ask you, what's the one thing in school that you did that nobody would know about unless you just went to school with you?
Like whether it was a play or performance or something.
No, I wasn't a theater guy.
I was...
Well, like, sometimes you have to take classes
that, like, you're forced to take
and you'd have to, you know, do like a...
Yeah.
I was really good at drawing.
I always liked drawing and, like, doing artwork and stuff.
I think that's why I like helmet paint and stuff.
I really enjoyed drawing.
But I would say something that not a lot of people know
is that Riley and I, in fifth grade,
we had to take band class or choir.
I was in band.
And, well, there's actually two things.
there's we had to do band class and i played the trombone and riley played the saxophone
i could see riley being a sax guy yeah i don't i don't really like the i don't really like the
the woodwinds because you have to like get the reed wet and i don't like like you know when you
eat a popsicle and you bite like i don't like biting yeah yeah yeah it just drives me nuts so
i didn't really like that um so that's why i chose the trombone
but we would
this is actually probably goes hand to hand
on one of the small reasons
why I got departed to military school
we would take our trombones home
and we would
and our saxophones
and we would play them as loud as we could
in the house like the drum set
yeah that's me right now and my
and we'd be like no we got to practice
we got to practice you know but
yeah it was it was you know
school was tough I would say
I was one of the, like I did well in school when I was homeschooled and stuff, but when I was there, I just, I didn't apply myself.
Like, I would be doing my homework for the next class, you know, the class before.
And I didn't apply myself. I would say that I do have some knowledge in a sense.
Ball knowledge or?
Yeah, I got, I'm, I would say more street.
read smarts than anything but i retain clearly your math is great i can retain no dude i i have one slip up
man i have one slip up so you're you're a good artist yeah i like drawing i was terrible i was so
bad like the worst i mean you saw my handwriting it's terrible right like if i ever have kids i'm just
going to struggle when they come home with like hopefully they get my genetics and can bring
home good art because if they bring so bad some like bad art home i'm going to
it's got to be tough.
Like, you got to hang it up on the fridge.
Yeah, mine was so bad.
But funny enough.
So third grade, we had this thing.
It was for, like, the Indiana conservation, something.
You had to, like, it was like, you were forced to do it.
You had to draw some, like, picture of nature, right?
And I had not done it at all.
Ah, you struggled with the landscape, huh?
Yeah, so the night before my mom gets all these stencils does this whole thing.
Well, I win my class.
then I win the grade.
I won the whole school.
Then I won the county one.
This thing goes to Washington, D.C.
For, like, nationals.
I did not do any of it.
My mom stenciled the whole thing.
And I had to get up on stage to talk about, like, my inspiration about how I drew this and all this stuff.
And, yeah, I won the state of Indiana, like, art competition.
I couldn't draw anything.
It was terrible.
But, yeah, that's my...
So your mom's a great artist.
With stencils, yeah.
See, I'm more of a...
freehand guy? Yeah, I can't. I can't draw.
Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen. Place your bets.
Let's get to the next part of the show. Dirty Moad Doe. This segment of Dirty Mode Doe is brought
to you by Fandul. Obviously got a big weekend ahead going to North Wilkesburg. I don't think
there's been a points race there since what, 96? It's been a while. Were you even alive in 96?
No. That's wild.
I wasn't even a twinkle.
Yeah, I was alive last time they ran at North Wilkesboro points race,
but 450 laps, a lot of laps.
I feel like this might be the most physical race of the entire season.
Yeah, I thought it was going to be $3.50,
and then we started looking at it a couple weeks ago,
and I was like, oh, man.
And then you look at the weather.
It's going to be like 97 on Saturday.
The second stage, I think, stage one ends at lap 80.
Second stage ends at lap 260.
It is a long stage.
uh yeah i think it's so north warksboro to me i don't know if you feel this way
i feel like at the all-star race it always feels so physically demanding compared to like a bristol
or martinsville because you're just ripping around there like there's no straightaway normally
like you have at least a little bit of straightway to relax circle and yeah and especially when we
started running the top like you're just ripping like i have so much there is a lot of like you do feel like you get
you're just pinned on the right side the whole time
So it's going to be, I think, pretty physically demanding.
It's going to be hot.
It's going to be slick.
Tires will hopefully wear out.
Obviously, the Toyota has been pretty dominant all season long.
I don't know if that'll be the case, truthfully, at Wilkesboro.
I hope it is.
Cap.
Cap.
I hope it's...
I hope the Toyota's dominate.
I mean, we'll be good.
I mean, I definitely think we'll be good.
But I don't think that we will have the advantage of downforce like we would at another
race track.
Like, I think the Penske cars,
will be really good. Yeah, it'll even out.
Yeah, I think that everybody, like, the whole
field's going to be pretty good. You're not going to have this huge
spread in the field like we would at,
you know, if we were going to Chicago land
or Kansas or Vegas or something like that.
So, yeah, it'll be
interesting to see how that plays out.
In season tournament, we got
Todd Gillen. The Gillah goat,
the pickle boy.
The Todd father.
Going up against Chase Elliott. I feel
like this is literally Max Holloway
versus Connor McGregor.
Like, that's how I felt.
So at Atlanta, I was up against Chase.
And we go out on the, you know, the answer.
Dude, they were so loud when you guys were walking out.
Oh, my gosh.
So I'm standing up there.
They have, like, you know, the tail of the tape, essentially.
And I'm up there.
You know, like, I never really get loud cheers.
I have a couple people yelling my, you know, cousins and aunt and uncles up there.
And I'm staying out there.
And then they announced Chase Ellett.
And he comes out and stands up there.
And I literally felt like that's probably what Max Holloway felt like against McRegger.
The place of the whole.
The place just wants him to win.
They could care less that you're even there.
Yeah, it was a very unique thing to be a part of.
Speaking of driver intros and cheers, on the truck ride around, we get in the back of those pickup trucks.
They drive us around.
A lot of the fans, I think, thought I was Zane.
So they were all yelling, FU, and flipping me off and saying, FU Zane.
And I'm like, no, doggies.
he's back there he's in the
it was the best ride around I've ever had
I was up there with Chase
and the whole place is screaming
have you ever had any screaming my name
but it was really for the other chase
what have I ever had any awkward
ride arounds whether it be
a guy that you particularly don't get along with
or I wouldn't say awkward ones
but my favorite interaction I've had
was with Joey Lugano
we were at Richmond
and at Richmond
they like I mean you're
literally from me to you to the fans, right?
Like they would stop because they were all turning them around.
So you're just sitting there, like with nowhere to go.
Up in turn one.
Yeah.
And this fan is literally from me to you.
Absolutely dog cussing legato.
And I'm just standing there and watching it all happen.
And Joey just keeps looking ahead.
Like, because he can't really like, you know, banter back and forth with him as much.
And he has nowhere to go.
And this guy has just giving him an earful.
And that was like the first time I'd ever seen a fan just absolutely rip somebody.
It was probably my favorite experience
It was pretty fun to watch
But anyways, yeah, in-season tournament
Todd versus Chase
I could see Todd sneaking it out
I could too
Like Todd is always fast on the short tracks
It's definitely a long race
Yeah, it's a battle of attrition
You can
We can have another upset
Yeah, you know
Yeah, I could see Todd sneaking through the air
He's the modern day Ty Dylan
Kind of yeah
It's Martinsville tire
Todd rips at Martinsville.
As far as being in this
similar position. Yeah, he's the underdog.
I love if he said modern day, like Ty Dylan didn't
pull it off last year. Yeah, modern day.
Yeah, it is modern day, technically.
The other one, Christopher Bell versus Ryan Blaney,
that's going to be an awesome matchup.
Christopher won there in the All-Star race.
Blaney is always extremely fast
on the short tracks.
So, yeah, I don't know.
That's a hard one to go with, I feel like,
because it could go either way.
It's just going to come down to, you know,
who executes truthfully better,
because I feel like they're both going to be
up front and in the mix
who you got in that one?
You need me to read you the two names again.
Christopher Bell
versus Ryan Blaney.
One plus one.
What's that equal?
21?
I would say,
I don't know, Blaney.
Give me Blaney.
He's on a hot street momentum
has been key for me
in my career and writing that good momentum.
I feel like he can back it up.
Obviously, it's not good for you
based off of Chicago land.
you won the race,
you finished last this past weekend.
So here's a wild stat for you.
I've won six cup races, right?
Four of those, the next week has been Atlanta.
Ah.
I want to say three out of...
Just a nightmare.
I want to say three out of those four,
I finished dead last.
Literally 36th.
I guess this week I wasn't dead last.
I beat BJ, but yeah,
not up there on the stat sheet.
Kind of wild stat, though.
Call them what you want, folks,
but you can't call them broke.
No. BJ's the man.
BJ is the best guy.
He's living the American dream.
Oh, yeah.
All right.
Well, that'll close that segment.
Out that Dirty Mode segment was brought to you by Fandle,
the premier gaming destination in the United States.
What did you get me for my birthday tomorrow?
Is it tomorrow?
Yeah.
Is it really?
A fan gave him cupcakes.
Yeah, fan gave me cupcakes.
How old are you going to be?
28?
I'm going to be 28.
Yeah.
I'm getting up there.
man. Oh, shut up.
Dude, I'm 31. I'm 30. I'm almost 40.
I'm 31 or 38.
You're 38? Yeah.
Dang. I'm 31 or 32. I really tell them.
I know. Once you, birthdays kind of suck. Once you get over like...
Yeah, let's Google that. How old am I?
I'm 31. 31.
So I'll be 32 in December.
It's crazy. Birthday's December 19th, 1994.
No, it's not.
That's the 15th.
December 15th. That's that dyslexia.
Yeah. To defend him on the...
this one, he's looking at his screen that's far away and the font is small.
I'll give you a little.
It's not even good font either.
Bale's birthday is December 16th, 1994.
He looks like he's 12 and I look like I'm 40.
We're one day apart.
It's kind of wild.
Can we close this out with our hats off salute for the
show up?
Yeah, that's all for the race fans.
We're not doing that.
Can we go hats off for this one?
We're not doing that.
Just to close it out.
You may play the national anthem to force him to take the house?
Can we do the side national anthem?
Dreams and nightmares, please.
Yeah, well, was it Philly Anthem? Is that what's called?
Yeah. Well, it is kind of Philly's national anthem.
They played it when the Eagles won the Super Bowl.
Yeah. I don't know.
Couldn't tell you. I'll have to go listen to it.
But anyways, thanks for joining us here in the Arby studio.
Don't forget about Arby's new meat in three box.
Get more meal for your money at Arby's. We have the Meets.
Do you think you guys will get invited back?
I don't know, but I don't know how to they win.
If not, can we chit-chat a little bit more about stuff?
Hopefully it hit all the boxes.
I would love to do it again.
It was fun. I enjoyed it.
Yeah, guys, make sure you smash burger that like button.
Make sure you subscribe, like, comment.
Speaking of comments.
Share.
No, you guys can comment whatever you want.
But for the ones who comment negatively, they don't really come to the races.
for whatever reason.
Because not that many people
or stand on business
ten toes down
when they get their...
They definitely don't
when they're...
Like it's one in a blue moon
that somebody will actually stand on business.
I get a lot of hate on social media,
people talking shit.
They don't come to the races
or they just don't stand on business,
10 toes down.
It's definitely different
when you're online versus in person.
I will agree with that.
It's pretty...
For whatever reason.
I mean, I'm not asking to be hated on.
It's just the people that do hate on me
They never like
I mean I love
I wouldn't say I love
I respect when somebody is yelling
Stuff at me
In a negative way
Because it's like damn respect
That guy's staying out of business
I personally
I mean I'm not asking to get hundreds of them
But I love the negative comments
Because half the time they're truthfully hilarious
Well they are and
Like I don't
Every week I get like
The information is like
Halfway right but halfway wrong
And the wrong part is like
so
like just false.
Yeah, so often left field, yeah.
Yeah.
But the part that's a little bit true is.
And then fans will start like
defending and then they're getting
into beefs and then you're just going.
Oh, just spirals, quick.
It's so funny.
It is funny.
I enjoy a good negative comment.
I sometimes used to save them.
And then I would like go back and hit them back with it.
Like four months removed if I want or something.
I'm just a psycho like that.
Oh, that's crazy.
I see it.
They don't.
my self-value
I don't really
I don't really take
that kind of stuff
I've been trying to be more level-headed
and not
not
take what people say
you know
yeah
well
what we have to do
to get paid
you can just make our checks
out to chase
and know
it prestige worldwide
yeah where do we
pick those up at
the checks
Renee has them
oh okay perfect
yeah
I enjoyed it
hopefully do it again
what are you doing for the off week
Chase?
I'm going to go to the beach.
What about you?
It's coming up.
I'm going to stay in Indiana a couple days.
Yeah.
Since Indies the week before.
Yeah, we asked if you could do the off week, but you're busy, Noah, so you couldn't.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No way I'm doing off week.

They have these big glasses.
We're never going to end this show.
It's two hours.
We just hit the two hour mark.
How long was it supposed to be an hour?
I was thinking 90 minutes,
maybe two.
Oh, we're well over.
We're paid by the minutes, so just keep going.
Yeah.
Wait, how's it work with DAP?
If you go, yeah, it's 15 minutes.
We just hit a new 15 minute segment, so let's go another 15 minutes.
Welcome to the next segment of the show presented by.
Hey, can we talk about one thing?
What?
You live pretty far away.
Yeah.
From the shop.
Like, how far away are you from the shop?
It's like 50 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic.
It's like an hour and a half to hear.
Jesus.
Hopefully the drive time counts for DAP.
Yeah, but you forget, though.
edits so it's not a record time it's post time well we were here it's Rick we were here yeah

posted about it really a month ago yeah I've never been there I feel like it's kind of fell off a little bit
because they used to be like posting about it a lot but um just spending time with him there was
really cool um also his daughter ila uh amy would bring her to the shop every once in a while
when i was here and uh she was really cool to hang out she would run around the shop with me and
sugar her up like she'd do my kids yeah i think that's the funniest thing ever oh my gosh

He's very busy.
You've met him before?
Yeah, once.
How often, like, he didn't really come by here
too much.
No, he's got a lot of stuff going on.
Like, what?
He's building that subdivision with Kerry right now.
Like,
when's the last time he saw him, you think?
Six months ago?
Yeah.
I think in the offseason, he came by.
Yeah, see, like, I was, I go back to Vegas.
He's got a car dealership he's going to open up, I think.
Okay.
Cool.
