Tonight, a critical test in the race for the All-Star race. Four candidates join us to tell us why they deserve your vote to make it into the big show. In a year where driver tension is high, short tracks are on the brink of extinction, and numbers are as far forward as they have been in decades. There will be plenty to talk about. Our candidates join us. Carson Hosevar, Zane Smith, Kaz Grazala, and Noah Gregson. It is perhaps the most important decision you, the people,

will have to make in 2024. Yes, that's right, the 2024 All-Star fan vote. We debate right after this. The following is a production of Dirty Mo Media. Welcome into another episode of DJD. Reloaded. It's the decision desk at Dirty Mo.

Today, five drivers make their pitch. The fan vote ahead of North Wilkesboro's All-Star Race. The polls are closing and the race is getting tight. Good evening, everyone. Welcome to the 2024 All-Star fan vote debate. I'm Andrew Curlin, moderator of tonight's debate. We are now just days away from taking the green flag in the 2024 All-Star Race,

and there are still many questions to be answered. Who wins the open race? Who is here to play? And who will be voted into the main event. Tonight, we'll question four candidates seeking why they are best fit to race in the big show. Each candidate will have the opportunity to open with a 60 second statement, followed by questions from myself and Travis Rockhold. A reminder to the audience, please hold your applause so our candidates can be heard. Travis, welcome to the debate. How are we feeling tonight? I'm feeling good, Andrew. I'm just

curious if these candidates are going to be willing to be open and honest with us or if they're just going to cower and make up stuff. We've seen some campaigns from various drivers, other drivers taking the more silent approach. Who do you have your eye on them? Well, I'm a little worried about Carson. I was because he's been out there campaigning, but I don't think he's ran out an honest campaign. And he's going up, I mean, he's got his teammate in there, and he's going against him. And I feel like he's just kind of been shortchange in his opponents. Those will be important questions for us to ask him. Speaking of Carson Hosevar, he is on the campaign trails as of this morning, but we got a chance to catch up with him yesterday.

Take a look. We're now joined by Carson Hosevar, driver of the number 77 car in the Cup series. Carson, welcome to the program. Hey, thanks. I appreciate it. So this is obviously about a very important decision that the fans have to make, which is the All-Star fan vote. We're going to give you this opportunity to give your 60-second pitch on why the fans should vote for you. Perfect.

Do I start now? Yeah, yeah. Start now. Oh, shoot. All right. I did not come with a speech, probably unlike a lot of others. I don't have a PR team that I rely on. I have my voice

and my voice is straight for the people, by the people. Don't short your vote. I'm taller than every other driver out there. So don't short your vote. Don't short yourself and pick the tallest driver. That's all the other drivers look up to me and you should

too, because you probably do. So that's all I got. Basically. I don't even need 60 seconds. I can talk shit about all the other drivers, but I don't need that because they already look down to Carson, as a short person, I feel attacked. Is that meant to be an attack on the short drivers?

No, it's just to try to be honest here. Listen, there's a lot of hot topics that have been going on in the NASCAR industry. I want to get your thoughts on foreign policy. Last year, the Cup Series had Shane Van Gisbergh and come in and win his first career start at Chicago. Your response to that? I'm happy for him. I wasn't in the field, so I didn't get beat. That's very fair. I think that's a good answer.

That's good. Carson, you said that you don't have like a team or anything, but you funded a campaign with, you know, you reached out and tricked other drivers. Where did this money come from? I didn't see any sort of, you know, do you got a super PAC? What's going on? Just self-funded, just independent. You know, we didn't fundraise and take it out of the taxpayers. The hardcore race fans. We dug into the pocket and spent a few hundred bucks for it and just for some good content for the people. Do you feel like you immoral for trick and other drivers and not running an honest campaign? I mean, same could be said for them falling for it.

Carson, I want to get your thoughts on the short track package reform, which has been a hot topic among the voters this season. Your thoughts on how to potentially fix the short track package? 15,000 horsepower. $15,000 horsepower. That's a lot of horsepower. I mean, you've just seen the campaign. You know, I played Dale Jr. And I agree with Dale Jr.

You did. How do you plan on paying for that? I mean, it comes out of the OEMs in the team owner's pocket. So not out of my pocket. So it's not my problem per se, right? This new charter agreement should be, that should be topic of discussion priority one, if I had the choice.

But yeah, we're trying to get in the All-Star race, not vote president of NASCAR. But this is a stepping stone. This just seemed a little extreme for just an All-Star. Well, I can tone it down. Carson, I want your stance. Does pineapple belong on pizza? Oh. No, it really doesn't.

I mean, I'm not discriminating, but those people can enjoy what they want to enjoy. Me personally, I would be okay without it. So you're open to all toppings? I'm open to all toppings. I mean, if you want to put whatever you want on a pizza, that's fine. Do I have to see it? No. Do I hope to see it?

No. I enjoy my cheese pizza. I just enjoy good old-fashioned basic pizza because I leave the topics for the rest of the people out there in the world. There's limited toppings. Carson, you are a rookie competing for your first all. All-Star race, do you think you need to, you know, earn your way or do you think a rookie should be able to be voted into the fan vote on his first try? I mean, that'd be 1-0 in the fan vote. Like, that'd be 1-0.

Looking to be undefeated. Like, that's the goal. If you were to- I'd say that's deserving. If you were to get in and win the race, how would you spend the money? Like, to win the All-Star race, the million? Yeah, what would you do with the million dollars, Carson? I'd have a really, really good time.

I could blow it in a week if you get it. I guarantee I could blow it in a week. So not give it back to the community? My entertainment would be the community's gift. I'd give them. Think about how far a million dollars could go towards 15,000 horsepower. Sorry, 500. Sorry, yeah.

Yeah, I'd buy a 15,000 horsepower engine. Right there. That would be really. Number one. That would be really impressive. You'd get a lot more victory checks after that. Talk about the best with a 150. In your video, you said that the watermelon smash is not your type of celebration.

That belongs to Ross Chessame. What is your victory celebration? I don't know. I'll let you know when I get there. I normally go in the – I've gone in the flag stand. It's to symbolize how tall I am. I just climb up there and I'm just standing there. It takes one step and I'm up.

So I just go up there and enjoy. and have a good time, throw the checker flag. You know, I'd throw the million dollar check out there because, I mean, you could try and cash it. If you cash it, that'd be great. But I'd take the million dollar check up to the flag stand and throw it, see if anybody caught it. I saw Justin Haley.

He talked about how puppies wouldn't age. There was no response. Do you not like dogs? Do you hate dogs? He's not even in the top five for the fan vote, so I probably didn't hear him. Plus two, the air temperature. Like, he's really short.

So, like, the altitude I'm at, it probably got... Maybe you could pick Justin Haley up and, like, hold him and celebrate when you win. It's true. Probably just as big as his trophy. I want to state for the record that Carson never answered the dog question. Oh, yeah, you're a cat or dogs, Carson? Yeah, cat or dogs? I love dogs.

Big dog guy. Big dog. Okay, okay. That's worth that. Fantastic. Carson, Hosvar. Do you have a campaign slogan for the people? Don't short your vote.

You wouldn't short yourself. Why would you short your vote? No. As a short person, I would not want anything else in my life to be shorter. Well, Carson, thank you so much for taking the time today. He's gained control over the Charlotte Motor Speedway and Wilkesboro area, and right now it's looking sunny with a chance of Hosevar. Evan, that's dynamite. Speaking of Carson Hosevar. He is one of the top five drivers as of right now. In no particular order, the fan vote

is Liss Alex Bowman, Noah Gregson, Carson Hosevar, Bubba Wallace, and Corey LaJoy is the top five most voted as of right now, Evan. Yes, I just did the math myself and that is indeed five drivers. Back to you, Andrew. Evan, thank you so much. We're going to go to Zane Smith and check back in with you in a minute. We are now joined by the driver of the number seven one car, Zane Smith. Zane, welcome to the program. Yeah, thanks for having me. So this is a very important vote for the fans that's coming up, Zane. We're going to give you the opportunity. 60 seconds, what is your pitch to the fans on why they should vote for you? Oh, shoot, that's throwing me out spot right there. I mean, for me, I mean, I guess I'm a little bit different. I'm a part of two

teams awkwardly. So if you ever wanted a driver, that was one driving for Spire and in a way driving for track house. I'm your guy. I'll start with that. It's very interesting, Travis. Two teams he's working with. I kind of respect it. I'm a little worried. Two for one special. That's right. Yes. Is it a buy one get one situation? Yes, exactly. So your teammate, Carson Hosevar has been talking about you should pick the tallest person. You're slightly shorter than him. What do you have to say to Carson and his slogan that go with the tall person? It's a little lame, if you ask me, honestly. I mean, he's taller, for sure, but not that much taller.

And, I mean, we're not playing basketball or anything here. We're racing cars. So I don't know how much a height advantage gives you. It's a very fair point. You mentioned your teammate, Carson Hosevar. it's often debated in NASCAR. How do you race a teammate? So how do you race a teammate

in a different sense of competing for the fan vote? Yeah, I mean, we actually kind of worked together a little bit on the fan vote, just hoping it was at least one of us. So I hope that's the case at the end of the day, but how we race each other on track is honestly just like anyone else. If we do end up around each other,

racing each other a little hard. it does or can make for an awkward competition meeting, but so far, so good this year. If you were to get into the All-Star race, Zane, and win it all and get the million dollars, how would you spend it? I don't know. I don't really have something. I'm set on buying right now. I'm just kind of saving every bit I get.

I don't know, maybe a house or something cool. I don't know. Not playing on giving it back to the community at all of the same. That's two people. Man, that just, that was a double-edged sword right there. I don't know, maybe to the local dog shelter. How about that? Oh, local dog shelter.

I like dogs. I have a follow-up question. Who, who let the dogs out? Me. You did. Fantastic. I did. You did.

Out of the dog shelter. Set them free. as I think is what Zane Smith did. Zane, I've got a question for you. We asked your teammate Carson the same thing. It's regarding foreign policy. Last year, Shane Van Gisbergen won the race at Chicago. It was a controversial win among the drivers.

It was his first win. People were embarrassed. How do you stand? Where do you stand on SVG's victory at Chicago last year? I'm team SVG because I guess I just wasn't in the race. So I'm not sure if I beat him in Cota. I know we're around each other a lot, but I don't know. I guess I'm one and oh with them, but we'll definitely have to learn a thing.

He's from him in Chicago. He's very party-aligned as he's also with track house traffic. Yeah, I'm a little concerned that he's not picking a side here and just, you know, trying to steal votes. Are you willing to wreck Carson, though, if he's ahead of you at the end of the open race? Yes. Oh, very interesting. I love the honesty, Zane. Yes, yes.

What's the confidence level in the open itself? Obviously, the fan vote is a way to get into the All-Star race, but I feel like people aren't talking about the Open race as much as they should be. How confident are you in racing your way in? I feel as confident as anyone. I feel that this is a new track for everyone. I feel like from last year's stuff, you can't take it. anything from it. And so we have that in our favor and I guess a new short track package for everyone

as well. So feel good about it. Yeah, as for the short track package, it's been a hot topic of debate this year. What is your solution to potentially fixing that? I don't know. Need more passing. Obviously, the easy answer everyone is saying is a thousand horsepower, but that's way out of my zone of smartness, so not smart enough to figure that out. Maybe you could take that million and give it to the teams to help pay for it. Would you be up for that? No. No.

I wouldn't either. That's my money. Zane, we gave you the opportunity at the top to give your opening statement. Do you have a campaign slogan for the people? I don't. No, I've just kind of been winging it. It's been stiff competition, I thought, going to. into the fan vote. So I'm a big believer in the fans like you. They'll vote for you and just

kind of should be natural. I'm getting a report that there are 3.2 million Smiths in the United States. How do they know it's you that they're voting for? Well, I found out the other day on Race Hub, uh, sore subject nowadays, um, that I have been the only Smith champion in NASCAR. So it should be easy to figure out. It should be easy to figure out. Yeah, because there's only one Smith that's in the fan vote. So all the other Smith should just vote for Zane Smith. NASCAR in general.

This is NASCAR since the get-go. That's a good thing. So you're the first Smith. First Smith, yeah. Zane, anything else you would like to tell the people before they cast this very important decision? I think we covered it all. I'm your guy. Vote for me.

Zane Smith, the simple man. He's the guy. Simple man. He let the dogs out. Zane, saying thank you so much for taking the time today. Great, thanks. Thank you to Zane Smith for taking the time. Let's go back to our very own Evan Vecchio.

Evan, what are the voters saying about Zane Smith? Well, you see, this is actually, it's getting really interesting here. So Zane Smith is, he's having dominance over this northern region here, the Warren and North Hampton area. However, that's basically Virginia, so it really doesn't matter. Evan, is there any concern from the Zane Smith camp with his teammate Carson and Hosevar being in this fan vote. They're splitting votes and they might lose because of that. Well, I think there might be a little concern there, but overall, I think they have a better

chance of one of them getting in. So honestly, I wouldn't read too far into it, Travis. Evan, as I correctly reported, Zane has one of the most popular names in the United States, and that is Smith. How many Smiths can you name? Just one right now, and it's Zane Smith. That's the one that matters. Andrew, back to you. That's fantastic. The voters definitely can identify Zane Smith as one of the most popular Smiths right now on this year's candidate. Let's go next to Kaz Grollo right after this. Welcome back to All-Star Fan Vote Decision 2024. We reached out to John Hunter Nemechek, and he was unable to make it. I guess too busy hanging out with Luke Combs, Travis. Does he not feel the need to campaign as he feels secure?

I'm a little concerned, though, that he's not coming on. Let's go to our very own Evan Vecchio again. Evan, how has John Hunter Nemech's numbers been impacted by him not coming on the show? Well, you know, that's going to be a big thing because, as you can see, he had a lot of control in the Rockingham area, but, you know, as he's not attended here today, his numbers are dropping like rubber on a fast racetrack, Andrew. That's fantastic. It feels like bristle out here. Sounds like Rockingham. He's going away, too. Oh, boy, that would be terrifying to see.

We're now welcoming in driver of the number 15 car, Kaz. Grala Kaz. Kaz. Welcome to the show. Hey, yeah, thanks for having me. I wish I could have been there in person. We're at Sim actually at the Ford Performance Tech Center. So I'm doing it remote today. He's getting ahead of it, Travis. I like that. I appreciate him.

Hard worker. He's still got to work on his craft and come on. I appreciate him being able to do both for us. That's exactly right. Kaz, we give each of our candidates 60 seconds to make their opening statements as to why the fans should vote for you. So we'll let you begin. Yeah, well, I mean, first off, my name's Kaz Graala.

In case you don't know my name, I think sometimes half the cup field doesn't know my name yet. So it would probably help if I was in the All-Star race to get to know some of these guys a little bit better. But I'm the new guy. I'm the underdog. This is my first year in the Cup series, and I'm running the majority of the series, but not full-time, not every single race. So for me, an extra race makes a really big difference. It goes a long way. So hopefully the All-Star race can be that extra race.

And as far as I know, I don't think any of the other rookies this year are locked into it. So it would be really cool for me to be the only rookie in the All-Star race this year. And we're, as I said, working on it in Sim, hoping to have the best weekend we can. We think we've got a lot of good preparation going into it. So we should be pretty well competitive. We were last week at Darlington, so let's give it another go. Kaz, one of the people competing for the fan vote is Carson Hosevar, who we all know had reached out and got some people to do some cameos to support him. You, of course, got suckered into it.

What do you have to say to his unethical campaign that he's running? Well, you know, I'm okay with it because it did catapult my campaign budget from $0 to $26 via cameos. So for me, I think it was all positive. So did you use it for your campaign or did you pull an Austin Dillon and go out to dinner with that money? It might have gone towards dinner at some point, filled up the bank account a little bit. But no, I thought that was actually really funny. He got some props from that on my end. I had no idea.

I got totally duped. Cass, speaking of, you know, the bank account, it is a big prize, a $1 million prize to win the All-Star race. With a million dollars, what would you do with the money? You know, that would be tough. That'd be a tough decision. But, you know, for a guy in my position right now, probably put it back towards racing. Because if I was full time, maybe I wouldn't have anywhere to put it yet. But a million dollars could get me another few races this year and I could use them. So if I got in the All-Star race and won the All-Star race, I'd probably pick up even more races from there. It's an investment. We reached out to fans to get some important questions that they wanted answers for. and one of the questions that they're wondering is, is a hot dog a sandwich, Kaz?

Oh, no. There's no way. A hot dog is a hot dog. It's its own category. What if I put it on bread? Well, if you put it between like Texas toast or something, put a couple hot dogs in there, then you would definitely have a hot dog sandwich, but not in a hot dog role. Okay.

I heard the phrase tubular meat is required for it to be a hot dog. Just a little insight for the viewers right there. Yes. Kaz, a big topic of conversation is the short tracks, the crisis that those short tracks are in with this new car. What's a possible solution for you and your campaign team on how to potentially fix the short tracks? Yeah, you know, everybody's kind of campaigning for horsepower outside of the fan vote campaign. Everyone's looking for more horsepower in these cars. And I think that would be cool.

I'd love to try that. But honestly, I think tire fall off is going to be where it's at. So I'm excited about this weekend with that option tire to see what that could maybe do for us. Because I know I was in the Bristol race, finished 19th in that race, I believe. We were really, really strong all day. Probably should have finished better than that. And it was just a blast. And it was a heck of a race.

So I think as simple as tireware can really make a big difference in the way these races can play out at the end. If you don't get the fan vote when you're in the open race, can we expect you to race hard and I don't know, maybe a little dirty? Yeah, absolutely. You know, as I mentioned, I don't know if some of these guys know my name yet. So I don't know how mad I can really make them if they don't even know of me. So if nothing else, maybe knock them around and then they will know my name. So, no, I'll definitely, I'll be much more aggressive than usual because you might as well.

It's an exhibition race. You kind of get that opportunity to go for broke. So to transfer from the open, that's not very many. So you're definitely going to have to fight your way through that field to have a shot at that. But based on where we ran last week in Darlington, both cars at Rickway Racing as a company, you know, we finished in the top 20, which in theory would, you know, be competitive in the All-Star race because it's about the front half of the field there. So I definitely am not counting us out to have the pace to maybe be able to transfer in on our own.

So are you going to settle, though, if you're in second or will you race hard to win the open and potentially wreck yourself and not advance? Or if you're in second, are you good with that? Well, look, if I'm in second on the leader's bumper and third place is on my bumper, then, you know, I'm considering myself as not being in a transfer spot because you don't want to be in the hot seat because you know that guy behind you is going to get aggressive because they have to to make that transfer. So I'll be just as aggressive with the leader if I have to be to try to put a one-car buffer

between myself and that transfer zone. This is, you know, speaking of that open. Race, the transfer zone. This is a question we asked Carson Hosevar. Does pineapple belong on pizza? You know, I think there's a time and a place for it on pizza. I don't mind it. I do like Hawaiian pizza, but I'm not the guy that's going to put pineapple on a cheese pizza or a pepperoni pizza just for fun. No, I think those need to exist on their own pineapple list. Time in a place. Are you worried at this stance could lose votes? Yes, I am a highly polarizing figure, I suppose.

So a little bit of concern there. But, you know, if that's what takes me down in this, and I'll have to live with it myself. Do you think that's fair? It could all come down to pineapple on pizza? I think it absolutely could. You know, I also think I've been late to start my campaign here. So I know I'm behind the eight ball.

I was debating whether or not to come on here today and announce my 2025 campaign. but I'm not sure yet if I'm going to be in a cup in 2025. There's a lot of moving parts right now. So, yeah, we'll give it our best shot this year, but there's always next year, too, I hope. I love it. I hope we hope to see you in the campaign for next year. Speaking of campaign, do you have a campaign slogan for the people?

You know, what I've got is let me be your Grawl Star, and it looks better as a hashtag than it sounds coming out. but hashtag Grawlstar fan vote That's what I'm going on. What does that mean? Oh, I got it. All star. Yeah.

I got it. I think I need to see that one. It's better type than it sounds. Yes. Yes. Because it all star. Yeah, I got it. Cool.

western area. He's looking to lock this down, Andrew. Back to you. Evan, is there any truth to the rumor that Kaz has had people from Tennessee to come over and vote for him? We are now joined by driver of the number 10 car. Noah Gregson, Noah, welcome in. Thank you. We're giving our candidates each 60 seconds to start with an opening statement

on why the fans should vote for them, so Noah will let you take that time. Yeah, I'm Noah. Gregson, I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm a proud American, and I'm an average human. about 5-8. I relate to a lot of Americans out there, a lot of people in this country. Everybody wants to be six-foot, but not everybody can relate to a six-foot guy. So 5-8, I put myself in your shoes. I love to hang out, have fun with joy a nice cocktail

every once in a while. I love a nice Zen upper-decky. And with that being said, I enjoy being at the racetrack. I enjoy meeting fans. If I could, I'd be on a deck in the infield watching the race with my shirt off and my favorite driver's flag flying with all my friends. But I'm grateful to be inside the race car. And yeah, as a 5-8 American who likes to have fun, I feel like I'm somebody that can be relatable to all the fans. You mentioned a few times at your 5-8, and it seems that height is a big conversation topic among the candidates.

Carson Hosevar made it one of his biggest campaign points that he's the tallest driver that you could be voting in. Don't short your vote and vote for Carson Hosevar. Your response to that. Yeah, it's not relatable. There's not, for the people that are 6-6, it's cool for them to be able to relate to Carson, but I'm a man of the people. I'm a man of the fans and try to be as relatable. You know, have an upper decky in the lip, a beer in your hand,

and watch your favorite drivers. That's what I'm all about. Noah, what flag would you be flying on the infield? Let's get down to specifics and pick a driver. Three, baby. Three for Dale. And so you'd be in the infield. I'm assuming you need to be grilling out.

Is a hot dog a sandwich? It's whatever you want to be. No, no, no, no. No, the people want an answer. You can't say whatever you want. Is it a sandwich or not? It could be. It could be.

I don't, I call it a hot dog, but I don't know the technical reason or the reasoning, but it could be a sandwich in between two pieces of bread, bread, but I don't call it a sandwich personally. I don't say I'm going to have a dog sandwich. That's right. That would be atrocious. Noah, you mentioned you would be one of the average people. We were talking about grilling out as a hot dog sandwich.

What are you able to grill? What am I able to grill? I guess anything. Am I good at it? Probably not. But I like to... I don't really grill that much. So, wait, you're just an average American, but you can't grill, so are you...

I do chicken. I do chicken. I'm always afraid that it's going to be medium rare. so I always overcook it, make it too dry. I'm not the best griller, but I do like grilling. No and no worries, I make a mean chicken tartar. I can share the recipe for you if you'd like it. The great Abraham Lincoln once said,

A great man races his way into the All-Star Open and doesn't rely on the people's vote. What are your chances on being able to race your way in the open race and not even need the vote? Well, I hope we can do that. I definitely think it's going to be fast. It's going to be a fun racetrack with the repave. They've taken the inside wall out.

So I unfortunately hit that last year and relied on the fan vote. But we got it all patched up and got the fan vote, which was super cool last year. So we wrote Thanks fans on the front of the car where the bear bond was and really appreciated the opportunity to experience. that us on the 10 team were fueled by the fan's passion. We're fueled and motivated by their energy. And that's at the end of the day, what keeps us going is the fans' passion and energy

that they give off. So there's nothing better than hearing some cheers during driver intros, and it gets everybody on our team really fired up. If you were to make it into the race and you win, it's a million dollars. What are you doing with that money, Noah? I'm going to go to the bank and get it all in cash and divide it evenly between everybody on our team. That is give it back to the community.

That's the first drive I think we've had that is willing to give it to other people and not just pocket or throw a party. Well, definitely I have a pretty good party. But, you know, that money, back when we won dash for cash races and Xfinity, we won five of those. and we're able to take that money and divide it between everybody on the team. I feel like what pisses me off is only the driver gets the trophy, but it takes everybody on the race team to get to Victory Lane. And so in my opinion, that's why I try and get all the guys, trophies, each person on the team, guys and girls, trophies from the races,

because it takes everybody, and it's not fair to me that just the driver gets a trophy. everybody should get the trophy if they're part of the car. Maybe if you win this, since it's a moonshine still, you guys could actually build a real one and start making your own moonshine as a 10 team. I hope so. I hope so. Moonshine's probably my favorite thing. So I love a good root beer moonshine. Really? That's very interesting.

Noah, you mentioned how it's a team sport. If you weren't the driver, what position on the team do you think you would be most successful at doing? Well, I don't know, maybe a spotter. I was trying to silicone the crush panel and the firewall yesterday on our Xfinity car and trying to stack some nice beads there. And that was my first time doing that on our Xfinity car with the silicone gun. And I thought I did a pretty good job until I looked at one of the other cars. I didn't do a great job, but I like to have a helping hand on that kind of stuff.

And I'm a master at all, Jack at None. So you say you're a simple American man. Can you change your own tire? Yeah. I can change a tire when I'm in a pinch and people are on the way to the racetrack on 485. It's easier and less of a hassle to just say, hey, somebody comes. pick me up who is driving by and take me to the track. I'll deal with the car later than to deal with the five or ten minutes it takes to take a tire. I was on the way to an appearance.

I assume is what you're referencing from 2019. If nobody knows. No, I honestly, I honestly wasn't, but go ahead. Tell us. Well, I got a flat tire on the way to Charlotte Roval. And I had appearance. I was wearing a polo and everything. I have no problem getting dirty, but I didn't want to get all dirty before this appearance. And so I took video, put it on Twitter. Hey, if somebody's driving by, can you pick me up and take me? I'll deal with the car later. I put different wheels on my SUV at the time and didn't have the wheel lock. It was a big mess. But I can't change a tire. That's awesome. Thank you. He can't change a tire. No, I want to finish with this. We've been asking everyone for a campaign slogan.

Noah Gregson, the final candidate to appear on this show. He had a lot of interesting things to say. Evan, what do the voters have to say about Noah? Well, it's looking like huge thunderstorms in the shape of Noah Gregson and the coast side over here. It's looking really good for Noah. I like his chances here and hold on. Okay, so this is just in. Noah Gregson has just locked up Nevada, and I know what you're thinking, Andrew. Because the electoral college has no relevance here, what does this mean? Absolutely nothing, Andrew.

Back to you. Evan, I'm a little concerned. You said it's thunderstorms and then said it's a good thing for Noah. Because thunderstorms hit hard. I'd prefer to be sunny. Well, I'm sure if you ask Noah, he would prefer to be a thunderstorm. Evan, I want to ask you about that map. There's a lot of gray, it seems like. So I'm glad you pointed that out, Andrew. So this region here is going to be very important as our race comes to a close here. These are a lot of our swing states here.

And if you notice, the drivers, they're not really tackling, they're targeting these areas here. And I think they need to because I think you should watch Idaho. Well, Travis, we had an opportunity to hear from four great potential candidates on this 2024 ballot. What stood out to you? stood out as Noah likes to have fun and he's short. Yes. As a short person, I feel like I can relate to him a little bit more.

Did you know it was last week was a short king week? Was it? Yeah. Really? Did you celebrate it? You didn't wish me a happy short king week? You're not a king in my book. Wow.

Well, thank you very much. What did you think of Kaz Grala's approach to it as one of the lesser known drivers looking to make a name for himself? Was that a concession? beach or was he running? I'm a little concerned that he's already given up on this year. Very interesting. He did mention he was looking to go back in 2025. We'll have to see if he can make another run once again next year. And that's saying if he doesn't win a race. Yeah, well, you know, he's conceding to not winning a race. I'm a little concerned. I think he needs to focus on right now. What about Zane Smith? He's got two teams that are kind of pulling for him.

Here's the problem, though. Spire, track house. He's racing against its teammate and Carson Hosevar. He's not the tallest and he's not the shortest. So he's kind of in the middle. Who's going to vote for him? And that leads us to the tallest. We kick things off with Carson Hosevar. What did you think of his, I mean, he has been campaigning the most, it seems like, out of this entire ballot. He's refused to show us where the money has come from. It's been an unethical campaign, in my opinion. I can't endorse him. I can't support that and tell the people to vote for him. Sounds like Noah Gregson's your guy. Noah, well, I haven't, no, I'm not sure. Bubba might, you know, be my guy. There are plenty we haven't heard from yet.

Yeah, there's been a few that we haven't heard from, you know, Freddie, his spotter is a dirty moe employee, so I might have to support him. But right now, of the four that we've talked to, Noah is the one that I'm going for. Very, very interesting. Well, fans can vote up to five times a day. The voting ends on Sunday at 5.30. You can vote up for all the way up until then. It's five votes a day for each unique email address.

I have 800 different email addresses that I've been plugging in votes for. You can do the same. Who's your vote going to be for? Who's my vote? You know, Carson Hosevar stood out to me in the beginning. Yeah, because he's tall. Yes, yes. I mean, he definitely stood out.

He stands out in a crowd. That's it? Yeah, that's... That's your only reason is he stands out. Well, and he made the effort of he even came in to the Dirty Mo Media Studios. He, you know, praised, praise Dale and the podcast work that we do. I'm leaning towards Carson. He's praised Dale, but as he raised Hail. That's a good question. I think that that's up to the open race, isn't it? Yeah, we'll see. Well, if we get the old Carson,

William Byron is a defending champion. Could be good. As of now, if the standing stayed the same, we could see a Denny Hamwin, Tyler Redick match up in round three. Very, very interesting. That'll be fun to watch. Also dropped on Monday

was door bumper clear with Butter being Queen. That was a fantastic episode. On Tuesday was our... What did you think about, though? He said that Dale called him once about how he was racing in cars tour. Can you imagine waking up and you got Dale Jr. calling you to kind of... Talk about the racing?

Yeah. I'd be nervous. That would be... It's like getting called to the principal's office. Yes. Yeah. I mean, literally, yeah. He's one of the owners of the Cars Tour.

And speaking to Dale on Tuesday, our dirty air show, with Dale Jr. dropped. We recapped all the action from Darlington. Dale's back from London and Scotland told us all about that trip. On Wednesday, we had business in motorsports with Kelly Earnhardt Miller and Jeff Dickerson of Spire Motorsports, talking about charters. Very fascinating conversation, especially look at all the moves that Spire has been making. Just in the past couple of years, Jeff is the perfect guy to talk to about the current and the future of the sport. Yeah, that was good because he's not like a, you know, Coach Gibbs or Mr. Hendrick, who's been in it.

So to see his perspective was interesting. Also dropped on Wednesday was Speed Street with Connor Daly, Chase Holden. They had Alex Pillow on the show. You know, Speed Street's the – this is the month of May. This is the podcast you got to listen to leading up to the Indianapolis 500, which is at the end of the month. Alex is, I think right now the favorite. Yeah, I mean, he's starting the poll last year, didn't he? He's, I don't know.

Oh. I don't, I didn't come prepared. I come with the gambling information. He's, he has a fast car every single year, it seems like. But you mentioned the gambling information. Dirty Modeau on Thursdays. Yeah, we, we've been taping on Wednesday nights and it's, it's getting the podcast. It seems a little chaotic.

We, you know, previewed the NASCAR, all-star race in the open race, and then we got into the PJ Championship. And, yeah, we fired off a large bed. It's called the United Nations Parley. That sounds great. Ludwig Oberg, Kadeki Matsiyama, and John Rom, top Spanish, Swedish, and Japanese, and a parlay. We're hoping it hits because if it does, it's going to be a fun weekend. That is going to be very interesting to watch.
