Starting point is 00:00:37 Celebrate this enduring legacy. Find the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion $2 coin today. And it's just like go fucking go time. Dude, it was crazy. It was insane. Were you there? Yeah. No, she was on the table and they, I have to stay in the back.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Are you there like this? Yeah. I have to stay in the back while they're giving her like a spinal. You were there like this? They're like, like, hey. Hey. I actually streamed it, but it was only on Patreon. So if you guys want to go see that.
Starting point is 00:01:18 The Vod's on around the bar Patreon. Yeah. Come back to another episode. Oh, the Flycast. Episode 200 and six. Damn. We're almost at three. We're almost at 300.
Starting point is 00:01:47 When we hit three, though. Ooh, I do. We've been planning this 300. They don't even know what's about to happen. It's going to be my surprise. I'm going to have a kid. Damn, am I going to have a kid by 300? No.
Starting point is 00:02:03 I mean, that's something. Well, we'll see. I mean, we'll see. Anything can happen. Anything to happen. How are you doing, man? I know we're going to talk a lot about the big white elephant in the room, which is going to take up most of the podcast.
Starting point is 00:02:20 which is of course your marathon training but before we get to that how fitness and getting shredded how are you doing man how's your how's your dating life the people want an update and do the people I mean me because I haven't been to Texas in a week and a half I noticed um well you know what's crazy and I need a round of applause for this I got three YouTube videos in a row get one out of 10 and I don't I don't know how wait I don't do they're not even like Like, they're all right. They're just like maniac blogs. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:56 If you don't know what I'm talking about, a one out of ten on YouTube, whenever you're a creator and you upload a bunch of videos, it'll rank, how does exactly, how exactly does it work? Like, it'll rank your video. If you upload a video, YouTube will rank it like a one out of ten into like how it's performing. Yeah, it keeps track of your last. Out of like how many. It keeps track of the last 10 videos that you have filmed.
Starting point is 00:03:20 error that you've uploaded and based on how it's doing at that certain time. So if you check, if you check 10 hours in, 10 hours in and this video is doing. It's a one out of 10. Yeah, one out of 10. It's doing better than any of the other 10 videos that you uploaded.
Starting point is 00:03:36 So yeah, the last three, my last three vids in a row, I don't, I genuinely don't know how. I like, I even said something, went in for the optic pod the other day.
Starting point is 00:03:45 And I was like, are one of you motherfuckers bought me views? Because it's like usually like, Wait, I gotta see your views now. There's a certain, I mean, it's nothing insane, but for a 2026 optic maniac vlog, right. Like my last four vlogs, four vlogs, 53KK, 73K,
Starting point is 00:04:05 like 48K today. That's good, bro. That's really good. For an optic maniac vlog in 2026, and to be honest, like any sort of vlog in 2026, especially for someone that's been retired for 10 fucking years. and it's I feel like
Starting point is 00:04:21 I thought this was the end I feel like anything over 30K is like really good and all of your shit is over 30K yeah no it's definitely it has surprised people were telling
Starting point is 00:04:32 I don't really I don't really get it people were telling me that I was hating on the last optic on the last flycast I appreciate y'all man oh you told them to say that
Starting point is 00:04:41 call a gamer out you told that you told them to say that I didn't say shit they're just calling them they're calling it they're calling it how they see it
Starting point is 00:04:49 and how they see it see it, I can't, I can't, like, persuade them. They're just gonna see you. You gotta remember, we got real-ass fans, or we got real-ass supporters. Supporters. We got real-ass motherfuckers watching us. If I'm bugging, they gonna call me out.
Starting point is 00:05:04 If you bugging or hate- I guess I was bugging. I don't even remember, what was that about? I said, where are you hating? I said Dashie, I gave Dashie content creator of the year instead of you, but I gave you King vlog, but I was still hating, I guess. Even though Dashie got like,
Starting point is 00:05:21 was getting like a million views a month. But that's fine. I was hating. That's my bad. Who? That's all good, man. But I also did, I also did forget, we both forgot about Nice Mace
Starting point is 00:05:34 as a quote of the year. Quote, that is for sure 100% quote of the year. Because you, you said, Are you sure that overtakes ours that we still can't remember? Well, you said you wanted it to be Wilbam, Kobe Hitch, which I didn't, I didn't agree with it, but.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I don't know. I didn't agree with you saying that, but, you know, possibility, maybe I said that. Yeah, somebody in the comments, let us know what quote we just don't think I said. Let us know what quote we were talking about at the beginning of the year. Someone has to remember. Because someone, because it was like, it was, I don't know. It's there.
Starting point is 00:06:08 It's right there. But I can't even like make up words to like re-itter. Because I know it's like, uh. At the very end, I go, we go like, but I might clutch. But it's, that's not the words. but that's the cadence of what we said. Yeah, yeah. We'll have to find that.
Starting point is 00:06:24 New year, like a new year, new year, new. New year, new year, same me. But I might change. Wait, I think that's what it is. But I might. New year, same me, but I might change. Is that it? I feel like that's, that's not like,
Starting point is 00:06:39 it wasn't long of them. I mean, it could be it. I don't know. That'll be one of our first, like, Flycast shirts. Yeah. New year, new me, but I'm, I feel like that's past, though. We dropped that to be like, huh?
Starting point is 00:06:53 No, that's something you can wear in the club, and people will be like, yo. Is that that Valencia? Yeah. I saw Kanye wearing that. Yeah. Do you know, do you see Kanye's doing an American tour? I didn't think it was going to ever happen. Yeah, Pamash hit me up about.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Pay it for all. Actually, pay for all of our tickets. Yeah. I was like, I can get the tickets just like PayPal me. I was like, just get my ticket. We'll worry about the payment later. But yeah, Kanye. I don't know when that
Starting point is 00:07:21 concert is, but Kanye is going to be in, I guess, Dallas. He's coming to Phoenix, too. I can catch both of them. Fuck,
Starting point is 00:07:29 yeah. I want to see him in the Vegas sphere, though. That shit looked insane. Is he going to be in there? I think that's what I saw. What,
Starting point is 00:07:37 there is, what's the place he was, what's the place Kanye was performing? And he's, it looked like he's on a fucking. Sofi. That was in, in L.A.
Starting point is 00:07:47 That looks. I looked insane. Dude, that might be the craziest... I mean, maybe he'll figure something out for everywhere. I think that might be the craziest produced podcast. The craziest produced concert in history, right? I mean, I... I wouldn't know, but it's got to be fucking up there.
Starting point is 00:08:06 I know Metallica played for a million people. Let me see. Let me look. Let me Google this. A million? A million? Million crowd. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Yeah. They played in Moscow. for a million people bro they think it's around a million bro you gotta you gotta see this Moscow
Starting point is 00:08:32 1,991 Metallica Images Wait should I look that up myself I'll just send it I'll send it to you on on Discord and then I know we'll send it to Matt as well
Starting point is 00:08:47 Look at that look at that shit wow look at that like did anyone die I don't know I feel like that has to be guaranteed death at least one death
Starting point is 00:09:01 that's fucking not even from like crowd fucking like a stampede or anything just someone has to die somehow like random heart attack it was just there's too many people did you see that girl got shot by the police
Starting point is 00:09:15 that lady in New York got shot by the police yeah I saw some racist. What? Pictures, like memes about that. Okay, well,
Starting point is 00:09:25 I didn't see that. Well, I'm not even going to say what they were because, but I thought it was, the internet was doing his thing with that. But yes, I did see that. Insane.
Starting point is 00:09:38 People were just mentally ill. Yeah. Yeah. Also, do you know what's going on with this, like, lady that is,
Starting point is 00:09:47 everybody's talking about this lady that's that's in uh in in in court right now i think she killed for something about her kids she killed her kids i feel like i don't i know i know of what you're talking about but i don't like keep up with i think she killed her kids and her husband her husband is she's in jail with her husband or not in jail with her she's in court with her husband about killing her kids and then people are supporting her. Is she like claiming psychosis or something? I think so. Something like that. I think so. Let's look it up. What's her name? I mean, I do kind of believe that is. I'm typing into Grock. Give me a rundown on the lady that killed her kids. Sort of. I do kind of believe that's a possibility. Like,
Starting point is 00:10:39 I think your brain can genuinely do some weird shit. But like, where we draw? Where do we draw the line? Are we drawing the line? Well, it's like, unfortunately, it did some weird shit, but like, now you're a fuck, like, you, we can't trust you on the, on the streets. Like, you have to like, but like the husband's there supporting her too? Lins. No, no, no, her husband. Okay, Lindsay Clancy is her name.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Oh, so he knows she's a crazy bitch. A former labor and delivery nurse strangled her three children with an exercise band in the basement of their home in January after sending her. her husband out on an errand. She then cut herself and jumped from a second-story window, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility, citing postpartum psychosis. Prosecutors argue that killings were planned. Her trial ended recently. The jury is unable to reach a unanimous verdict. What?
Starting point is 00:11:45 Advertising on Spotify puts your brand in the moments where Gen Z fandom takes shape. They're 35% of our audience and spend two hours building rituals and shaping culture with every stream. Download the Culture Next Report to discover trends and insights that will inspire your next campaign. So where are she now? I think they're just waiting. I think she's still locked up or maybe she's out. Would she be out on bail? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Because it's crazy. It's like they say like innocent until proven guilty. But you're actually just locked up until. Yeah, it isn't... You're actually, like, not innocent. If you were innocent, you wouldn't be locked up. Oh, she's held at a psychiatric facility in Massachusetts. I mean, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I mean, I guess there's no, I mean, there's no chance of her fleeing. She's on in a wheelchair. To kill your kids, like, it's just... No, I mean, it, dude, that's... What is the brain? What, like, flip, what switch to... How are people supporting her? I don't understand that.
Starting point is 00:12:49 How are people supporting her? Because at what, at what point? Maybe it's like moms that also went through it. Also went through it and understand there is some like craziness to. But like if you are if you're an arsonist and you love, you're obsessed with fire. You're obsessed with it. You can't get over it. It's the best.
Starting point is 00:13:11 It's the best thing to you. So you just like burning shit down. And you burn down a courthouse and kill three people. You can't be like, well, I, I have an obsession with fire. so you can't I can't go to jail because I'm not guilty because I love because I I have psychosis about fire her I don't know it's just a mental that's like saying she was having a fucking obsession with killing killing I think yeah I think I was more but if she was like normal her whole fucking life and just randomly what if the husband
Starting point is 00:13:41 I don't know if I'm the husband and that like I got a I feel like I would probably end up caring about my I don't don't know. Would you care about your kid more than your wife or partner? Because like if so, like, I don't I don't. Like, he probably knows like, nah, this bitch it's been crazy. Yeah, but what if she hasn't been crazy?
Starting point is 00:14:06 Then that's fucking, which like, I feel like he would know more than anyone and like family and friends would know and be like, like, no, this is like totally like something happened. Yeah. Like if you saw me tomorrow, I don't know if I can legally say.
Starting point is 00:14:28 But if you saw me tomorrow do some wild shit. Like I've been, people have seen the vlogs. People have seen, like, I've been, I guess, normal for me. But if I was, I did some crazy shit to where I'm hurting other people randomly on the street. And then I got drug tested and I was, I fucking smoked K2 or something. You'd be like, oh, he went into like psychosis. Right. And like, that's not actually truly.
Starting point is 00:14:53 him. Should I still get in trouble for it? Probably. But it'd be like, I feel like people would be coming together like, no, that's actually not him. And like people would be coming to the court not fighting against me like her fucking husband. Her husband, probably, she's probably insane, man. Yeah, he's
Starting point is 00:15:11 already, but it is. They divorced in 2024 and he's already remarried. So he, he's with a different doctor now. Oh, so it wasn't even her husband. It was just her baby daddy. No, they were, they were, no, They were husband and wife at the time. Because this happened in 2023.
Starting point is 00:15:27 He filed for divorce in 2024. Yeah. Well, if it had, I'm, of course you're going to divorce. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think that might be a reason for divorce. That's probably that.
Starting point is 00:15:38 I can't think of a better reason for, I can't think of a more legit reason to divorce your wife. Yeah. That's, killing your kids. Yeah. Yeah. People are just, people are just insane. That is crazy how the brain. is so
Starting point is 00:15:54 motherfuckers are just different the lady it just looked like uh that the Mexican lady or whatever ethnicity she was with the just standing there with knives like she does like what do you like like put them down
Starting point is 00:16:11 like any reasonable thoughtful human knows I have two knives police officers in front of me I come towards them I'm like you're getting shot right everyone knows that so it's like what in her head does she did she want to get shot was she just that insane like she almost looked calm in a way at least i think i only saw a clip like twice but this the brain does wild shit yeah and she had brain does wild shit she had already stabbed two
Starting point is 00:16:42 people randomly she pulled out two knives from a target bag stabbed a 68 year old man then stabbed a 32 year old and the man died. Oh no, no, no, no. The one of them died, right? Yeah, the woman died. The 32-year-old died. Like, what is she stabbing him in the neck?
Starting point is 00:17:07 She just grabbed? I would almost her rot in jail. So, would you rather someone die? Say someone killed, like, did that to a loved one. Would you rather them die instantly or rot in jail? I don't, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:23 I don't know. I'd rather want. Because it's... Because I feel like death is just like an easy way out. She had a documented mental health history within my PD, but no prior arrests. Dude. You ever, you see people saying like, why didn't the cops shoot her in the leg? Like, shut up.
Starting point is 00:17:44 She killed somebody. I had that thought. But I also, I don't like, she, I feel like she just got the easy way out. Yeah. But also, she's... She was for sure mentally ill. You could just tell on that video. She's just...
Starting point is 00:17:57 Yeah. Also, sometimes it's just like, just wipe... Just wipe that DNA off Earth. Just get it gone. Just get it out. Yeah. Yeah. Like, what if in...
Starting point is 00:18:11 Because there's some people that have been arrested 14 times and then... I feel like more people need to get wiped out. I agree with you. Like, we need a bed. There's... Obviously, there has to be... There's sunny days. days there's good there's the bad like there's always a balance here on planet earth right good
Starting point is 00:18:31 people bad people insane people normal people but I feel like more shit DNA needs to be wiped out you're sounding a lot like Thanos right now I thought you really yeah is that is he looked at as a bad guy it depends who you ask I thought that motherfucker was trying to destroy the universe He, the whole point of Thanos is he's trying to collect these stones, put them in his little glove, snap his fingers. And when he snaps his fingers, half of the population disappears because he's trying to fix. Or he's trying to fix over a population. So he's fucking a hero. You think Thanos was right.
Starting point is 00:19:21 But, but there's no, it's just 50. It's like resetting your PC. It's clearing your cash. That's what he was trying to. to do clear the cash of the whole universe. Yeah. Because he wasn't trying to, but he wasn't like choosing the good or the bad 50-50.
Starting point is 00:19:40 It was just down the middle 50-50. That's kind of weird. Like what's the point? Right. So like in this call. There's probably some presidents or there's probably some like other, I don't know what they call them in other countries, but presidents and other countries.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Kings and whatever the dictators. yeah they probably want the same thing so out of this call someone's gone matt craig you think matt craig's i mean i don't know it's a 50 50 chance there's three of us two of us could live one of us could let i mean we get we we get really lucky all three of us i've been thinking about the universe too much like it's just what part what part about the universe just what like why and how is there like a consciousness right Just it being so big and never, like, it just doesn't make sense, but it'll never make sense because you literally can't make sense of it.
Starting point is 00:20:39 Right. And it's just, it just hurts my fucking head. And then I like, zoom in just a planet Earth. And it's like, we just have our own little, like, there's planet Earth. Right. Like, there's just the Earth itself. Yeah. And shit's born.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Shit dies. But then inside that is what I call the Matrix. which is this little game we've created on earth where you get a job and there's success you pay taxes there's there's depression and you play taxes and there's anxiety and there's happiness and there's drugs and there's just this little fucking game on earth we created about like this is right live your life like this treat others like this yeah thou shall not that and it's like inside of that we've just created our own little game it's just it's just starting to fuck with me you want to break outside of the game I gotta escape the matrix that's why you're
Starting point is 00:21:36 running the marathon it's one of the reasons I get that I get that I mean that's one of the best ways to break out it's the only way to fucking you're not gonna think more clear than when you can't breathe in a 10 minute mile that's true when it's 98 degrees in Texas heat there's no better time to think to your like within your own thoughts right Then that 10 minute, that 10 minute mile. Yeah. You hit that second mile at 10 minutes and you're like, this is when people comment,
Starting point is 00:22:13 maniac's a fucking idiot. I fuck with maniac. This is when I see that one comment that pisses me off. I fuck with maniac. That guy's an idiot. Oh, my God. And he's typing that from the Matrix itself. Yeah, he's in the Matrix.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Like, he might be sent from. Take a different fucking perspective, you idiot. Yeah. Zoom out. You're the one that needs to get Thanos snapped. I'm trying to wake him up. Right. And he's just...
Starting point is 00:22:41 You're the guy that's trying to wake people up and they're not waking up. And all that pressure is... You can bring a horse to the water, but you can't make them drink. That's true. All that pressure is on you and you have to deal with that. That's the frustrating part. That's why I started vlogging again. Someone's got to fucking save us.
Starting point is 00:23:03 That's the saving. of the Matrix and humanity is the optic maniac walks. Might be. I mean, people are catching on. One out of ten. One out of ten. And I'm the piece of shit that gave Dashie creator of the year.
Starting point is 00:23:18 That's on me, man. I was in the Matrix, I think. I mean, ripping gameplay from your stream is pretty creative. If I do say so myself. Now I'm the hate. Now you're the Matrix. Now you're in the Matrix. Shout out Dashie. That dude was on my that dude was in my title for a week and a half eight blogs straight yeah yeah and then I's the
Starting point is 00:23:42 matrix and then I had him around the bar that that then I had him on around the bar so it's like he was on all of your videos and then my video and they're all one out of tens all one out of 10 so it's shout out bash yeah shout out dashy shout out dashy shout out week three marathon training how's it going are you seeing results yet or you get results? Because I got to I have a half marathon in February. So I got to start pretty soon. I mean, I mean, that's
Starting point is 00:24:14 plenty of time, but five, six, five, six months. Yeah, plenty of time. But I do have to start pretty soon. But it's only a half. So, well, it is like, it is fucking, I don't know, I was thinking about it today. I don't know what's harder. Get doing. Like, I'm running basically every other day. But I'm also, I promised that I was going to do a video every single run.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Right. And I don't know what's harder. Just doing the run or trying to make a video around the run. Bro. Because I don't have a, I don't have someone following me with a camera. And like, it's such an ugly video when I'm sitting there.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Camera shaking. My one. Right. My one. I did this same exact shit two days ago. Nothing else has changed. Well, like,
Starting point is 00:25:00 what are you trying to fucking think of something to say? What are you paying James for then? Like, if he's not. he's paying me just to hang out oh oh okay okay
Starting point is 00:25:10 all right like he gets to have one singular friend okay all right that makes sense and then he like gets some shots for me that makes sense that makes sense
Starting point is 00:25:18 all right cool that's that's our payoff once a week once a week he comes and works for me for an hour all right I like that and I'll
Starting point is 00:25:26 hang out with him I like that I like that I'm like kind of like an escort like an escort friend version because y'all are y'all aren't sleeping together right no okay okay it's like bumble friends oh okay we should do
Starting point is 00:25:41 yo one time on flycast we should do bumble friends and get a friend and then like spend the whole fly trying to get a friend and then have him or her on the next flycast that's not a bad idea yeah let's like flycast gets a friend we could just say like we do a podcast I mean it'd probably be pretty easy
Starting point is 00:26:03 we do a podcast looking for a friend slash I saw um you know will tennyson yeah fitness guy yeah he did that he did a bumble friends um i think it was like conquering his biggest fears or some shit he did a uh and one of them was like i don't fucking know making it was making new friends or like something but he did a bumble friends thing met some rando dude off bumble friends and the dude was actually like i mean you could tell it was I guess maybe a little awkward and the other dude wasn't like the most social outgoing person ever, but it was like, it was actually like pretty neat to see. It was very wholesome.
Starting point is 00:26:42 They went and worked out together and then Will did a fucking stand-up comedy set. Oh, dude, that's fucking. He was really conquering his, it wasn't horrible, but he was kind of almost just like talking all the time. But yeah, he was conquering some fears. But yes, he used Bumble Friends. So it would, it can be done. It's possible. He said a lot of people were hitting them up.
Starting point is 00:27:03 cock but he did find one person that was willing see like what if we get him on here and if we get somebody that wants he just starts like 2003 omega fucking helicoptering mid fly i mean we got do we say like yo chill like but let's finish the episode but let's finish yeah yeah you met cut that but like don't do that maybe now let's finish now let's finish the episode. I feel like we just like are we joined? Oh.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Kick him out. We just all start helicoptering. Matt, cut all this. We'll play it by ear. We'll play it by ear. We'll play it by ear. As,
Starting point is 00:27:45 as our bumble friend comes into play, we'll play it by here. So it is possible. It wouldn't be the worst idea. No, I think, it'd be nice to have a little
Starting point is 00:27:55 a little friend that we meet from the real world. A complete brandina. Yeah. Yeah, when's the last time you made a real world for a? uh... i r l
Starting point is 00:28:05 i made some recently it's been a long time have you made one since optic since joining up have you made one since college yeah probably like maybe somewhere in there
Starting point is 00:28:23 i played soccer there has to be one right i played soccer with a few guys and they were i considered them friends forgot did you hang out outside of your soccer brand this. Yeah, I made a few the other day, or the other week. Where? Where are you meeting these friends? I mean, does it count as I or L, if they know who I am?
Starting point is 00:29:15 No. Or if one of them knows who I am? Nope. Oh. Well, I made friends with his friends, and they don't know who I am. Okay. All right. But yeah, it was like one dude, he saw us out. Actually, it was at fucking Hendies one night, fucking for, like last year sometime.
Starting point is 00:29:32 So you went to Hendies to, like, You went to Hendy's pick up chicks and you ended up picking up dudes. Yeah, he got a dude's Instagram. Oh, yeah. I like that. My only conversation of the night, besides with James about like, where to hose at? Dude, these girls are fucking, nah, this isn't even like, they ain't even my type for real. Okay.
Starting point is 00:29:58 Yeah, we met each other or he was like, yo, what's so, man? Like, recognize me, whatever, the usual. Then we like, I don't know, we just had a conversation, but he seemed pretty chill. Follow each other on Instagram. Then I ran into him on the trail one time. He was like, yo, you remember me from fucking. And I was like, I actually kind of do remember you. And he was like, yo, well, we should, uh, I don't know, we should, you know, like me and a few buddies.
Starting point is 00:30:20 We're going to go out. And I've been living here and I felt like I've sort of been in a shell a little bit. So I ended up, uh, meeting them out. And then maybe like the next day James came out with us, but they're pretty cool. They're like normal people. It's kind of. just some normal made friends man 35

Starting point is 00:31:16 We talk about me every pod What has the past I did see your little YouTube video You ever have a creepy week? My gameplay video bro People are telling me that I might be I watched like 20 seconds of that I might be a big
Starting point is 00:31:33 gameplay uh it's a one out of 10 a uh like a gameplay i might be a gameplay like a live comber a livecombe a livecomber people say it i might i might go for it i've always wanted to do it i've tried it multiple times but it never uh never works but i guess all i had to do was have a child i guess because it's one out of ten and just like really stretch start stretching those titles like I don't know. Think of something crazy for the next one. Just keep this momentum going.
Starting point is 00:32:09 Oh, okay. All right. I can try. Really got to stretch the titles. Okay. I can definitely try that. Trust me. Because you...
Starting point is 00:32:18 You really got, like, strap and dashy have bees. Full, parentheses, full fight. How, but then how am I going to make that? Do I just talk about it?
Starting point is 00:32:29 If I'm going to be a gameplay guy. You just don't even mention it. You got them to click. they're probably thinking it's fucking in there. I had a, I uploaded three. Oh, my last video,
Starting point is 00:32:41 Hex reacts to Merck drama. Right. Cretesies injured. Yeah, of course. Not even like the best of the best. Not even the best. Or,
Starting point is 00:32:50 but like, hex didn't mention it once. I didn't bring it up once. Right. Or road trip with Form 1 dashy. We were in the car for three minutes going to the diner. We were in that car for maybe three minutes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:05 And I think it was 10 seconds of footage. Right. But anyways, crazy week for you, man. What's, yeah, we had a brief phone call.
Starting point is 00:33:15 And I was just like, wait, we talked about something, which might be coming to fruition. Still waiting, still waiting on a few emails back, but I hope, I hope it comes.
Starting point is 00:33:27 But then I was like, all right, man, wait, wait, I forgot. What's, uh,
Starting point is 00:33:32 how's the kid? You had a fucking kid. And I was like, wait, let's talk about it. about it on the fly this this is our first uh yeah how's uh how's dad life this game is sick world of tanks hundreds of tanks and it's not just aim it's positioning it's map control it's dominating your opponents sound familiar click the link in the description and play for free
Starting point is 00:33:57 update 2.0 just dropped new players get a premium tank 250 000 credits and seven days of I mean. Support Optic and play one match now. Literally, download the game, play one match, and let's show them the power of the green wall. I mean, it's great. It's great. I talk about a little bit in that video, but I, the last two weeks have been kind of hectic because there were a little bit of complications in the pregnancy. And so we were trying to deal with that, you know, a lot of like blood pressure stuff and a lot of, you know, she was, she might have been going through some, some pretty serious stuff.
Starting point is 00:34:42 So all the doctors were keeping an eye on it. And the way that we were able to check if, if it was going up or down was her blood pressure. So we were checking her blood pressure like every hour. And they basically said if it ever gets to like, every time we went to the doctor, the doctors were like, low key, you should be in the hospital right now because of your blood pressures. but you don't have any other signs of, it's called preeclampsia, you don't have any other signs. So you can go home,
Starting point is 00:35:11 but keep an eye on it. So we were like, all right, so we were keeping an eye on it like crazy. And then finally, so I wasn't streaming for a while, and we were basically just like making sure we were ready for everything,
Starting point is 00:35:21 like all the bags were packed, and the bassinets were set up and everything was good. Ready for anything at any time. Yeah, ready for next time. If we have to drop everything and leave, when we come back, we would come back with a baby. and it would be seamless.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Like that's what we were prepping for. And then her blood pressures were okay. So then I was like, I think I might stream tonight. She was like, yeah, I think I'll be good. Just, you know, keep your phone on you. And I was like, yeah, sure, I'll keep my phone. So I was doing a gauntless stream,
Starting point is 00:35:52 went to go pee. And she said it from the other room, like, hey, can you come check my blood pressure? I'm feeling a little woozy. So I went in there and it was 160 over 110, which is like, the doctors will say, like, you're, that is code red
Starting point is 00:36:09 for like you could have a seizure at any moment. So we were like, all right, let's go. So we just went straight to the hospital. All right, chat. Oh, yeah. So I came back. I said, all right, everybody. And it's not like, it's not like this fun experience. Like, it's not like her water broke. It's not like, oh, yeah, we're about to have a child. It's like, it's like, hey,
Starting point is 00:36:28 hey, we got to go. So like, It's, yeah, it's not like, oh, the baby's coming. It's like, let's, I got to make sure she's okay. So it was pretty scary. We go to the hospital. We go to like the emergency room for pregnant women called triage. So we go in triage.
Starting point is 00:36:47 They test her blood pressure a few times. And every time they were like, all the nurse texts are like, oh, oh, you're way up there. And we're like, yep, that's why we're here. So then they admit us into the hospital. We stay in like this room for two days. They try to the doctor comes in and is like, hey, I think you guys are good. we'll send you home and we basically say no like the hospital's like 30 minutes away she had a seizure level blood pressure we don't want to be 30 minutes away from the hospital like just keep us here
Starting point is 00:37:16 even if we have to stay four days like until they hit a certain time then so he was like all right we'll keep you we'll keep you in the hospital for one more day just to test just to test your blood pressure she had a blood she had a or she had a cuff on a blood pressure cuff that would go off every hour early, even when she was sleeping, it would go off. And they watched her through the night. And then the same doctor came in the next morning, was like, okay, you're not showing any signs of preeclampsia other than the blood pressure, but the blood pressure is high enough and severe enough that like, let's have, let's get this baby out today.
Starting point is 00:37:53 So then I'm like, whole. So then they come in with scrubs for me. They, they get, come in with like the wipes for her. She has to like, she has to like wipe her fucking whole. body to like sterilize everything and it's just like go fucking go time dude it was great it was crazy it was insane were you there yeah no she was on she was on the table and they they i have to stay in the back yeah i have to stay in the back while she they're giving her like a spinal you were there like this they're like like hey hey a life
Starting point is 00:38:32 I actually streamed it, but it was only on Patreon. So the... So if you guys want to go see that. The Vod's on around the bar Patreon, yeah. Um, but yeah, they, they go. And so they give her the spinal, which is like the, um, the like anesthesia. Um, so she's still awake, but she can't feel anything like below her waist or below her like, you know, chest. And, um, so I go, they, they're like, here, dad, sit here.
Starting point is 00:38:59 And I'm like, holy shit. Dad, what? So I sit on this chair. I sit on this chair and I'm like talking to her. And as soon as my ass hits the chair, her shoulder start moving. So like there's a partition like from her chest up. So we can't see anything past her chest. But as soon as I sit down like her shoulders start moving.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Because like they she said as soon as I said, hey, how are you doing? She could feel like somebody do this on her stomach. And that was the first incision. Like as soon as I sat down and then they started like dude her whole body was moving like they were like pulling she was like she said it felt like she was a purse and they were pulling everything out of the purse just pulling everything out and then the nurse tech was right next to me and he and she kept like looking over it and she was like oh it's doing good everything's looking good and we're like dude I'm trying to talk to her to like keep her like all right you know stimulated on. other stuff other than just like her she's split in half right now and uh then she was and then the nurse tech was like all right here we go and she unvelcro's the partition and brings it down and it's like clear now and then they bring a baby out with the cord and everything slimy as shit and they're like hey and we're just like what the fuck is going on and then just and then immediately they
Starting point is 00:40:30 put the partition back up and I'm like oh my God like we have a baby now and now they're basically from my understanding I didn't see because I didn't want to look but I think they're putting everything back inside of her and then
Starting point is 00:40:46 they're sewing her up so so in her in her brain or in her you know fucking experience she's got everything taken out of her and now they're putting it back in and now she's getting sewn up. So she's still like this.
Starting point is 00:41:02 And then the nurse is like, all right, dad, go with the baby. I'm like, with the baby. Like, Alexis is split in half right now. Like, I want to stay. I'm surprised they try to like separate y'all. So it's in the same room, but it's in like the corner. And so I go in the corner and they like, they're weighing him. They're like wiping him down to like clean him off.
Starting point is 00:41:26 Slimy. Yeah, he's still like all of his limbs are like really purple. but they're like, the nurses are like, oh, his chest is already pink. Like, that's really good. He was crying, like, like really crying. So they were like, oh, he's crying. That's really good. He was already complaining.
Starting point is 00:41:40 He's already bitching. And so I'm in the corner of the room, like trying to, like literally like looking at the kid, but like still just talking to her. Like, oh, he looks good. And they're like, oh, he weighs eight pounds, seven ounces. And I'm like, did you hear that eight pounds? I'm still trying to talk to her. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:41:59 All right. And then finally they bring her they bring him over to her and she she said she could still like feel stuff like she doesn't think the anesthesia work does. I mean that's got to be a weird fucking feeling. She said the anesthesia didn't work. She doesn't think the anesthesia worked as like much as they would probably have liked it to. Like she was still she was still numb but she could feel like penches, but she didn't say anything. Right. Because at this point she's they got to stitch her up.
Starting point is 00:42:27 So they put the baby. baby on her chest for like skin to skin contact and then we sat there and I'm trying to keep her like I'm literally like hey hey I'm trying to keep her focused on the baby so she's like looking at the baby and every time every once in a while she would go because they're stitched seven layers of muscle together and I'd be like oh look at him like he looks great like he looks beautiful like he's so quiet now I can't believe how quiet it got Because he was crying, bloody murder. And then they wipe him down. They pinch, they cut the cord. And then they pinch his little ambilical cord. So he still has like a little bit. And then they bring him over, put her on his, put him on her chest.
Starting point is 00:43:13 And he falls asleep. So he's asleep on her. And it's quiet now, except for like the talking, the doctor's talking about like where the stitches are going and shit. Fucking. Dude, it was. It was insane. It was insane.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Like, I don't know. I don't know why I did it. Are you like looking at him? Like, holy fuck, this is like, this is me. Not, not, dude, he was like foreign. Like, I talked a little bit. Yeah, I talk a little bit about it in the, in that video that I made. But like, like, I think like the mother has like the connection immediately.
Starting point is 00:43:50 Hmm. But even, even she was like, she was on so much, so many, they had her on like magnesium and she lost a lot of blood. Like a lot. to the point where they, they had another, they had an IV in her for the medicine, but they made another IV right there in case she needed a blood transfusion. So she was like ghost white.
Starting point is 00:44:11 So I don't think she was even able to have that like connection immediately. Mm-hmm. But it took, like, I'm, I'm back there. So then they split us up. So I go into, I go into recovery room and then I do skin to skin with him. So I'd like take my shirt off and I'm holding him. I'm still like looking at him like what the fuck and they're like come on dad try to feed him
Starting point is 00:44:33 so then they give me a bottle so you went like that so they give me a bottle and I'm trying to feed him and he's not taking it and I'm like I don't even know what a how does it what is it supposed to feel like when he starts drinking so like I'm like is he drinking right now and the tech's like no and so then the text like do you want me to try and I was like sure failed how long is that baby out until it was starting to get fed. 10 minutes, 15 minutes. That's kind of crazy. Yeah, because they...
Starting point is 00:45:07 I guess that's typical, but... I don't know if it's typical, but for... Because for diet, for type 1 diabetics when they have kids, they test the blood sugar on the baby immediately to make sure that his blood sugar is not too low. So they want to test the blood sugar, then feed him immediately. So then they couldn't...
Starting point is 00:45:26 They couldn't get the body... We couldn't have him latch on the bottle. So then the nurse is like, like here, I'll take him, I'll feed him. And she couldn't get him to latch either, which made me feel a little bit better.
Starting point is 00:45:35 So then she filled up a syringe with formula. And was like putting the syringe in the, like putting it in the side of his mouth. So he would go. Right. So that's how he got his first meal was through a fucking syringe. So I'm sitting there. He's on the,
Starting point is 00:45:53 he's on like this little bassinet that they have, like this little heated bassinet. that and then they wheel her back. So I'm in between both of them and like Alexis literally looks like a ghost. Like literally looks like a ghost. So it was very scary. I like hold her hand at one point. And her hand is like ice cold like really cold.
Starting point is 00:46:13 So I'm like freaking out. But I, you know, I was holding it together. And then they come in and they say, yeah, you know, you've lost a lot of blood. They do an ultrasound on her. They found, they said they found a softball. blood clot in her uterus.
Starting point is 00:46:29 And so I'm like, that's not fucking good. So then they call the doctor and the doctor's like, oh, that's, that blood clot is, you know, sometimes that just happens, it'll pass. And the nurse texts are like obviously not agreeing with the doctor. They're like, uh, okay. And he was like, give her more medicine, more like, um, I can't remember what it's called oxytocin, I think. Give her more medicine, put her on magnesium,
Starting point is 00:47:00 and, you know, and things will be fine. So now she's on magnesium, which really fucks you up. So she was throwing up the whole day. And we finally go into the, I forgot, I forgot what the room is called, but it's where like all the nursery is. You stay in the room with the baby for like two days. And you learn everything about fucking child.
Starting point is 00:47:26 care in 48 hours while the mom recovers and then they send you home. So now we're in that room and they order more ultrasounds for her because they want to check on the blood clot. So then they order ultrasounds.
Starting point is 00:47:42 The ultrasound tech is like, I think... Was this all pretty cheap? I don't know. I don't know. Luckily her... Bro. The insurance shit is a whole other fucking thing. we're in this room now and uh they they get you know i'm she she she is like on another planet
Starting point is 00:48:03 like she she she's like talking to me like this like like literally like trying to peel her eyes open and it's like how is he and i'm like he's so i'm i'm changing the diapers i'm learning how to feed i'm i'm learning how to burp she's only had him for the one like little chest sold for yeah yeah that's it and it's back to like trying to recover right and then i was put him on her chest or I would I would give him to her or like her mom and her Graham were there too they would they would like show her and she would like you know kiss the baby or whatever but it was very much like she couldn't even keep water down like she would drink water and she would throw it up 45 minutes later so she
Starting point is 00:48:45 was like very hungry but couldn't eat because the magnesium would just make her throw everything up then we got another ultrasound the ultrasound tech is in there and she's like, I definitely see something and it could be a blood clot. So then they call the doctor again, the surgeon. And the surgeon's like, it's just a blood clot and like it'll pass. Like it's already going down from softball size down to like golf ball size. But the nurse tech was like, I don't think that's a blood clot. So then they order another ultrasound.
Starting point is 00:49:18 The ultrasound comes in. The different tech and this lady is like, I definitely see something. they send it off to radiology. Radiology says there's still placenta left in the uterus. And I didn't know this, but if placenta's left in the uterus after the baby is born, then you have to get it out or it could be fatal for the mom. It could be either fatal or like she would, like you would have to have like, I think it's like a month long stay in the hospital.
Starting point is 00:49:49 What's placenta? It's like the food. The food. The gunky baby goo. Yeah, exactly. It's what the, it's what the baby feeds on while they're in the uterus. That's slimy shit?
Starting point is 00:50:00 Yeah, slimy shit. So you're supposed to get it all out or the body still thinks that you're pregnant. So it's still like acting like you're pregnant, but there's no baby in there. So then you end up having a bunch of issues and bleeding a lot. And that, that's the fatal part.
Starting point is 00:50:20 So the doctor is like, No, they're saying there's placenta in there, but there's not. He literally said, I, he said, I'm confident there's no placenta because I literally wiped your uterus with a rag. That's what he said to us. I wiped your, with a, I got a towel and I wiped your uterus clean. And we were like, all right. But then he came back and said, hey, radiology is telling me that there might be something that resembles placenta that's still in there. And we can't ignore it.
Starting point is 00:50:48 So we have to do another operation. So then the next day. They were about to send us home. Again, it was the same shit. They were like, they were about to send us home for her blood pressure, and then the baby was born the next day. They were about to send us home for the placenta still being in there. And then we had an operation the next day. Then the operation happens.
Starting point is 00:51:07 And the doctor comes back from the operating room and is talking to me and her mom and her grandma and says, like, hey, there was actually a little bit of placenta left in there. Damn, fucking idiot. Yeah, there was a little bit of placenta. left in there, but we did get it. She did great. We vacuumed it all out so that there's nothing left in there. And she's good now. And we're just, I'm just like, what? So if these fucking radiologists that I never met, they do the ultrasound, they send all the results to a radiology department. They are the ones that, like, tell people what to do. Those motherfuckers, like, saved her life, basically. Because if, because the other, the surgeon was ready to them. It's, all right. Y'all are good. Right. The surgeon was ready to send us home. So all this shit is happening while we have a baby. And so I, I, you know, as, as weird as it is because I- While like no sleep fucking, you've been stressed for months anyways. Yeah, you're supposed to, you're supposed to, I mean, you're supposed to feed a newborn every two to three hours.
Starting point is 00:52:10 And, you know, I'm so, and she can't feed him at this point. And, you know, so I'm waking up. I'm setting my alarm every two hours, every two and a half hours, feeding. feeding baby burping him putting him down and then I would either fucking sit on my laptop
Starting point is 00:52:29 until the next feed or I would try to get two hours asleep and and and there she's on she's in so much pain that she had to take
Starting point is 00:52:39 like oxy cotton basically at one point and so she's really fucked up did you have any left I don't think no it was a drip through the IV so I actually know
Starting point is 00:52:49 no it was a pill yeah my favorite. Straight to the vein. Straight to the vein. So, so yeah. So, uh, she was getting a little bit better before that second surgery. But then, you know, the surgery, she was really bummed because that surgery kind of like reset her.
Starting point is 00:53:06 So she's, she's back to not being able to sit up on her own or, or, you know, her abs were literally cut in half. Like half of her abs are up here. The other half are down here. There's an incision here. And she was like, you don't realize how much you use your abs for everything. When she laughs, when she laughs, she hurts, when she coughs, she hurts. She sneezed one time and I thought she was like going to fucking pass out from the pain.
Starting point is 00:53:30 So, so yeah, all this is happening. And neither one of us really are like able to like connect with the baby. Because we're like so worried. Yeah. And a newborn is so fragile. like it's like whenever you see like like a baby on a mom's hip or whatever like they're usually like eight months old you know like a newborn they can't hold their neck up so you have to always hold their neck or and the thing is like if if you have them if you're if you have them here
Starting point is 00:54:09 and you're like going to grab the bottle and they like do this a little bit like their neck could just go and you're like holy fuck you got to pick it back up and it's just constant like laser focus on like this kid i'd be scared as shit dude it's especially with my anxiety like every time i pick him up i'm like okay there's nothing around here that i could trip on there's nothing that could fall from the fucking ceiling that we that you know because it's this kid doesn't even have thoughts yet and you have to keep them alive and it's just dude it's it's it's so it's so crazy but when we finally got home you know put put him put clothes and them learned like I'm a master swaddler like I can swaddle the shit out of a baby at this point
Starting point is 00:54:53 what does that I mean like uh when you take like a towel like we take you like a like a blanket and you wrap it all around him so he so he's like really tight a cocoon yeah um so now we we get home the medicine is starting to wear off for her I'm starting to get like a little bit of sleep now and now now it's like over joy like a crazy sense of like joy and connection and like holy shit we made this she's like I grew that I'm like yeah you fucking grew that so there's that now I help too
Starting point is 00:55:30 yeah like I did my part you know what I mean I tried my best but yeah that's that that and that's where we're at now so trying to get back into the swing of things Like trying to find that new like normal for us. So how old is he now? How many? What day was it when you?
Starting point is 00:55:51 I know you texted me. Last Saturday? So he's a week in three days? Something like that. Wait. He was born on the 22nd. Oh, okay. Born a week.
Starting point is 00:56:05 Yeah, a week in four days. So what's he doing right now? Sleeping downstairs. Sleeping downstairs. Is it a lot of sleep or is it still every, I mean, what, you have to, like, wake them up and feed them? Yeah. They want you to feed every two. Because when a baby's born, when they're born, they lose weight immediately.
Starting point is 00:56:28 So they're born at eight pounds, seven ounces. They lose, they go down to like seven, seven pounds something. Oh, really? And so the pediatrician wants you to feed every two to three hours until they get back to birth weight. So he got back, we wait him this morning, he is back at birth weight. So we're good. So now, now we're kind of like, we're still trying to feed him constantly. But like, now we're not like waking him up to feed him.
Starting point is 00:56:54 We're going to wait till he like at least starts like getting out of that like deep sleep. And they're like, all right, now it's time to feed you. So who does he, do you see any resemblance like in you of like, he has my eyes or my fat cheeks? Everyone is saying Everyone is saying that he's got my nose I don't know I don't really see anything though But also like everything changes
Starting point is 00:57:20 Yeah everything changes But he was He was a C-section baby And apparently The natural babies The babies that come out naturally That's when you get like the alien head Like the
Starting point is 00:57:35 Because their skulls literally like Morp So that they can go through. So you didn't have to see any of that. No, no, no alien baby. See, I feel like that was, you never see that. Like, you never see a true, like, freak alien baby. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:51 And like movies or fucking, obviously, I've never seen a baby born. Yeah. But it's like you do hear about that, but. Yeah. So, yeah, that's where we're at. I don't know if we'll fucking do that again. Really? Dead ass, like, that was, that was fucking.
Starting point is 00:58:08 That was Trump Like legitimate trauma Like Not in like a When would you say the trauma started? Uh And not to put a negative swing on having or a negative behind like having a kid. No, no, no, obviously.
Starting point is 00:58:25 We're overjoyed and it's going to be it's I fully believe people when they say it's the best part of your life. It's just I want to be real about This and it's not. I mean it was some people do have a kid. They're like, yeah. not doing that again.
Starting point is 00:58:40 It's very, I mean, it's very scary. I would say that the, that's fucking insane. The trauma started when, like, that we would go to her, like, appointments, like,
Starting point is 00:58:48 her doctor's appointments, and they would say, like, we, you should be in the hospital right now. She's 30, 35 weeks pregnant. So technically, she still has a month left.
Starting point is 00:59:02 A month and, in a week that she's supposed to. Are we about to go there and, like, just be in the hospital for a month? Yeah, right. And then, So, and he was born, he was born on her, on the day that he turned 36 weeks.
Starting point is 00:59:16 So she, he was still a month early, month early and was still eight pounds, seven ounces. Yeah, remember you were saying September. Yeah, yeah, his, uh, text me, you're like, dude, I'm about to go in right now. I was like, what the fuck? Yeah, his, his, uh, his, his due date is September, I think it's the 19th, which is in, yeah, which is, yeah, 19th, which is in two Saturday. not this Saturday, not the next Saturday, but the Saturday after that is going to, we're going to have like a party. Like, it's your due date. Do you look at him like, I feel like I always tell people I want a kid because I just want a mini me. Yeah. Do you look at him like, damn, this is like, this is fucking me. Yeah. I mean, I have moments like that. This is like another me being born.
Starting point is 01:00:08 I have moment. Like whenever he's opening his eyes and he's like looking around because he'll have like, moments where his eyes are open and he's looking but newborns they they only see in black and white like I've mine's what eight how old is he yeah like eight he's I mean he has my orange hair he does have your orange hair for audio listeners junior just jumped up on the on the desk so like the order I get the more I I I've been feigning for a kid. Yeah. Like I've almost come to terms with,
Starting point is 01:00:50 let's just hypothetically say like, I've slept with someone recently. Okay. But it's someone like that like. Would be mother material? Yes. Okay. I've almost not cared.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Because I used to be like, no, like it's, it has to be like my person together, married. Like I, my like almost biggest fear is having like a baby mom. Right. A baby mama or like someone who we have to force the relationship for the kid. Right. Because I want the like dad.
Starting point is 01:01:29 Obviously I didn't have that. I think my parents divorced when I was like fucking two or three or something. Like I want the mom and dad in the family in the home. Right. their whole lives like married for 40 years like that would be ideal for me the older I've gotten
Starting point is 01:01:47 and I also so I just used to be like petrified of like a girl saying her period was late or just even like having unprotected sex I'm just like why did I fucking do that
Starting point is 01:02:01 yeah um but the older I get I'm almost like I don't really If you If it happens, fuck it. Like I'm not
Starting point is 01:02:15 nutting inside, but I'm just like, if it still fucking happens. You're waiting a little longer? Like, I just want, I don't know. I've never felt this. I don't think I've ever felt this way until 2026. Yeah. But maybe it was like seeing, I mean,
Starting point is 01:02:31 all of my friends back home have kids. Seth had a kid, you had a kid. Zinny's probably got one well Zin's probably got one on the way Yeah Bows Nah never know We won't talk about
Starting point is 01:02:43 Bows Yeah he might He's got a few But like So now it's like I feel like I'm I don't know It's just
Starting point is 01:02:54 It's been the first time In my life That I've Had that one Okay But I don't know man Just go get one man
Starting point is 01:03:05 It's a lot Go get one I was and I thought I was like what if it like doesn't happen for years and I was just like fuck that what if you now I don't want to do I just adopt or what if I go to a fertility clinic
Starting point is 01:03:18 and they're like oh your nuts don't work like do I adopt Asian baby? Probably what race do I pick like a Nigerian boy yeah I think you would I think that would be good for you
Starting point is 01:03:35 yeah it would be good for you Yeah Maybe What if like you and James just Got one together Fused our nut No I meant like adopt Oh
Starting point is 01:03:48 Thought you meant like Fused our nut together and then Found a surrogate now No I couldn't be with him Oh okay Makes sense There might be some other
Starting point is 01:04:04 Guy or girl that's like Made for him but it's not me For like, is there a guy or girl out there that you could co-pair it with, platonically? In Toronto, every arrival is a statement, and nothing says it better than this. Cadillac Optic was the number one selling luxury EV in Canada for 2025. I'm the hot 50 year old dad. Ooh, I like that. Oh, it wouldn't matter
Starting point is 01:05:16 because I'm still married. True. And I'm loyal. And you're loyal. You'll have run it like, you'll have like completed an Iron Man by then. Yeah, I'd be doing Iron Man for fun.
Starting point is 01:05:27 For fun, yeah. My stepdad said he fucking, when I just visited home, I was talking about how I signed up for a marathon. He said he did a 50 mile or at 47. And I was like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 01:05:38 like i'm like i've seen you do like three miles around here like lollygagging yeah i was like i didn't know you did a 50 mile 50 damn dude i'm thinking like today i did three miles i was moving a little it was like a 850 pace i was kind of moving yeah uh but i'm just like do what i just did times like times not 8.5 or some shit like yeah dude this marri we'll see
Starting point is 01:06:11 this marathon's gonna be tough yeah but anyway a full marathon is gonna be tough I feel like a half I'm glad I'm doing a half and I'm doing it in Vegas downtown Vegas so I'm happy about that no you should just do a fool we'll see why are you doing it
Starting point is 01:06:27 is it like it's gotta be something special or is it just like let me sign up and like give me a fucking like goal a little bit of both like i i've always i've always liked watching the um like we've been we've been to vegas twice in february somehow while that while the half marathon's going on and it's just cool to see everybody running down the strip is there is there a full and a half i think it's just a half i think it's yeah i think it's just a half i think that's why i signed up if it was a full i probably would have signed up for that yeah Vegas half marathon Vegas half marathon
Starting point is 01:07:06 You should sign up, run it with me January 10th Oh it's January 10th I'll probably be in good shape Actually I'll be in really good shape And then I might be recovered by then Oh wait there is a full marathon on the 10th Hell yeah
Starting point is 01:07:19 Sign up Oh I can't change it at this point Oh it doesn't let you fucking change You can get a refund to sign up for I don't know it doesn't let me Because you would Yeah because I definitely would Like you're trying to right now
Starting point is 01:07:33 but like you just can't fucking right i just it's just yeah all right well maybe next year the following year i'll do the Vegas marathos all right so right now in your life are you like you get podcast ends what what what what what happens going upstairs staring at this baby like like is now you're enjoying it yeah or is it still going downstairs say they have a kid and they're like like they look like they don't feel and I think maybe it maybe it's a thing for dads or something right or maybe moms do too but like at the very beginning it's like it's like because I imagine like I'm if if I have a kid on the way I'm in the hospital I feel like I'm going to be like crying like I'm going to be freaking the fuck out yeah I'm going to see it and just instantly love it and be like oh my god this is mine this is me
Starting point is 01:08:24 it's the best crying fucking yeah just love is in the air Was it not exactly, is that not the reality of what happens during real pregnancies and birds? Not for our, for our situation, it wasn't. I'm sure if the, if the pregnancy is very healthy, you go all the way to term to 40, 40 months, water breaks, you go in, labor's three hours, the baby pops out, you get to cut the, you get to cut the cord. You get to have that moment where all three of you guys are like huddled up together. I'm sure that is beautiful. But, you know, for ours, it was just very complicated, like very, very complicated. So I mean, you're worrying about someone's health the entire time while this alien just popped out.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Exactly. And it's like where, it's hard for me to like sit here and truly enjoy this when the love of my life is sitting there like, pale as it goes. On a steel table cut open. Like ivies cut open. Yeah. So, but yeah, the routine now is we're gonna get up, get off the podcast, go downstairs, do a little shift change with her. Because she's been, she sleeps. She's been watching the baby for like three hours at this point.
Starting point is 01:09:45 So he's probably, I mean, I don't hear him, so he's probably asleep. Do you ever sit there and like, just sit there the three of you? One of you's holding the baby, the other ones. Yeah, we'll just sit there and like stare at the bassinet. He's the bassinet's just in front of us and we're just looking. You all just sit over there staring at it. Also, when you swaddle a baby, like, they love it so much, but you can't see their chest move. So I'll sit there and, like, stare at him.
Starting point is 01:10:08 Like, you better be fucking breathing. Yeah. And then I'll go and I'll just like, like, he's sitting there and I'll just like, and he goes, and I'm like, all right, all right, all right. All right, you're alive. You're breathing. Okay, okay, good. Oh, yeah, that's the, that's the next plan.
Starting point is 01:10:25 Give her a little time. I might be returned. to either streaming today or tomorrow so I take your time man you got a sub train you got a sub train coming your way I'm sure just like make sure you show the baby on stream yeah you can cover the cover the face or some shit but just like guys thank you for the five yeah every time every every 20 I'm just like show baby baby care you appreciate it well shit obviously no advice for me but it is uh i don't know i can't wait to meet them
Starting point is 01:11:08 yeah i'm gonna come out i want to come out there i mean i know y'all are it's uh what am i trying to say it's a little early it's a low early it's a low early for me to come out there but yeah definitely i'll definitely come out one of these times yeah that'll be fun yeah well congrats man thanks man The biggest milestone, I guess, in your life. In my life so far. Oh, shit. Maybe ever.
Starting point is 01:11:39 Maybe ever. Because you might stop here. One was enough. I mean, yeah, it'll take, it'll take, it'll take time for us to, I don't think, we'll never forget what happened, but it'll take time for us to, like, process it for sure. For sure. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:12:01 That's gonna do it for the podcast, man. Thank you guys for all the love too. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for watching. Congratulate Hitch on the baby. A healthy birth. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:12 And we all wish you all the best. Thanks, man. All right. Appreciate you all watching. Are you going to be in town anytime soon? Yeah. I'm back on the 14th. So in two, like a little under two weeks.
