You know, I want to go pro. But obviously, I want to not be like these idiot challenger players and just do full-time. Talk your shoe. It's just, they be hating on me because, like, I do content. They're just full-time playing challengers. And you can make money from tournaments and stuff. Don't even wrong. But it's not, like, a steady, like, in a... There's no way you can make that much money.

Yeah. If you win first place, like, everything, like, you could maybe, maybe max, like, make 50K, which, I mean, to some, yeah, that's good. You know, it's good money. It is what it is. but that's winning every damn event, everything. But again, there's no, like, no guarantees. No, you're being smart about it.

I mean, it happens in every single e-sport. It doesn't matter if you're, you know, pro, AM, whatever, every single e-sport. Even if you do sort of have a peak, like, everyone knows it's not going to last forever, but not a lot of people invest in their, I guess, career while they're in their career. They just focus on placing as good as they can Because really everyone's just addicted to the game Yeah But it's good to see you

I feel like there's... Even if you do go pro That's not all the money in the world either. And I want to go pro. because that's going to boost my platform even more. Like now I'm a pro CDL player, so whatever I do more gets more views, more clicks. And I feel like people should be more entitled to do it

that you're in Challenger's because you don't have the luxury of a CDL professional contract. And the big, big tournaments, like it's a lot less pool, less money. So I feel like it should be more entitled to do something. So how has the content been going so far? It's been awesome. What have you been doing? So far has been vlogs.

it's not that he's gossiping, but he's just talking about, like, everything that's happening. It's basically, It's almost like what the Optic Pod does. They talk about everything going on. Maybe you can find someone to get you like clips and stuff, but sort of just react to everything going on,

give your opinion, why people should or shouldn't hate methods. And then you can throw it on YouTube, click bait it with, I don't know, something about hating he's in it or something. Yeah, no, I've seen a few. I've seen him beefing with Complexion. Yeah, yeah.

Complexion. What's going on, Brad, and Complection? Well, that was a while ago, yeah. Oh, Gunplexion. I remember watching that. Yeah, I think maybe it was when gunplexion, because we had a BTAH team go to an event. Right.

And I think like two events after that, they ended up, I think someone paid for their stuff to get there because we weren't paying for anything. And then I think gunplexion like slap someone at the event. Then he got banned from champs or Worlds. He qualified for World. His entire goal was to make it to Worlds. Slaps someone the event before and they don't let him play.

Like fucks over himself, fucks over his teammates. So APG basically covered all of it, gave his opinion, probably saying he was an idiot. And then, you know, there was, I think the beef started from there. Yeah. Or like the turmoil. So that could be an idea. Was he on BTH? Gunplexion?

He was it for like one event. But not when he slapped somebody? No, it wasn't when he slapped somebody. See, that would have been like. That would have been like the most BTH shit. I've, shoot, I never heard. Have you been to a Halo event? We're not cussing this episode either.

So, like, nobody, like, I didn't get banned or anything. So you were playing challengers then? Yeah, I was playing. Oh, dang. Oh, and you weren't allowed to? Yeah, because you had to be 18. Yeah. But I was playing because I'm like, bro.

Yeah, it was fun, man, playing little mini games with my brothers, had out of my brothers. I never even, I never even really played Halo 3. You were a, I never played it. And from the morning, whenever I get here, whether it's early for content, so 10, 11, or if there's nothing and just crims at one, I'll get here like at 12, 12.30. But I would say I literally was only on the stallions with Zuma and B-O-6 for like one month. But I... You made a name for yourself while you were there. I guess I had a business. I was hearing of you and I'm not even like in that circle.

So did you have any... Were you making any content? there it's from the outside and I keep saying this but from the outside didn't even know of you but I was hearing your name but were you making content or was it just you being yourself what's the content for Zuma's game I made it a little bit I was grinding a lot of ranked and I basically took advantage of having because I didn't have the business platform basically having you know some juice from Zuma's platform you know from his community and that because that's when everyone like knew about me because I was all over Zuma's platform. I was all over Zuma's platform. I was all over Zuma. Zoom and then I started streaming myself posting ranked videos because I was also good at CalDia. I was doing, you know, top, I got top 250 and ranked and stuff. So I was

playing against, you know, people and I was just streaming and just trying to build myself up using his community, trying to make my own basically. Is this split gate community? What do you think about them? I've always been interested about games that aren't, that are like

that, not even like in the top two tiers of e-sports. Yeah, I mean, You could be, I'll be brutal. I mean, the game's dead. Like, no one plays it. I didn't know if it was not bad or not. Yeah, no, it's bad. But I still talk to a lot of, like, my past teammates,

a lot of, you know, still people from the community, because they cheer me on. They're happy for me, and I'm doing my thing. And I support, I'm big, like, from the Splitgate guys, whatever they do, like, I'm always supporting them. Like, Woot him. I'm sure you know when he came from Splitgate. So I'm always.

No, we never teamed. I just played against him in Grand Finals, though. Was he better than you? Hey, I'll pay the day. We thought he was so good, we thought he was cheating. And that's how you know he's not really gifted though because he came to HALO. He switched to HALO. He's, he never played HALBs. He never played it before.

So he did that. Some players... He's one of those like freaks. Yeah, some players started playing the finals, went pro in that. Some went two of them went pro in APEC. So I'm always just rooting on whatever the SWICA. You know, because that's where I kind of, you know, that's where I spend a lot of time. Matt, can you show us like a professional split gate? I played the first. You could put my champ, the grand finals, if you want. Scoody split gate.

Yeah, put SPS, that's what the CDL, SPS, Splitgate Pro series, SPS 250,000 grandfinals. I played split gate for a little bit. Now they're split gate too, right? Yeah, but that one pretty died too. Yeah, I feel like the guy. They paid God knows how much for people to play it, and then it just instantly died. But I played the original split gate. I played in, I think maybe one or two tournaments.

I was horrible. That one right there. The top one. Yeah, yeah, Grandfinals that one. But it was fun. I enjoyed it. The game felt good. The shots felt good.

And the other one pays zero dollars for every player, you know, the bare minimum for players. So then that, that in my head, you know, no offense to the Falcons for saying that, that leaves 10 legitimate spots. So now we only have 10 teams

that like are and then I've heard crazy stuff about Boston Breach and like some some some orgs are just like they don't know what's going on and it doesn't seem like they want to know. They're just in it because they got here and

Like I wasn't trying to like, you know, like work myself up or and then I play bad. So I was, I was a little bit more quieter.

And, you know, after the, after we lost, you know, they told me about it. And I was like, and, you know, I told them what I just told you guys. You know, I have, it's a little bit more anxiety. You know, I need to work on that on, you know, trying to be more vocal and like, be more energetic and stuff, like on land. and they're like, all right, it's fine, we're still in the challenge tournament. Just do that, you know, just do that tomorrow, you know, just like try to be more yourself. You know, we feed off of your energy.

So, like, when you're quiet, you know, it's just, it's not the same. So then the next day in the challenger thingy, I, I, 100%, like, this isn't in me being biased. You could look at the clips, like, you see me standing up, like getting loud, pointing, like, worked up. Like, I felt like I applied what they were saying, you know. And I was more energetic. I brought more energy, more higher comms and doing my stuff. And I guess it still wasn't like a, I think that's what it rubbed them the wrong way.

Okay. Was like too much energy? No, no, no, no. Was like the in the pro am the day before, like I didn't have any energy. And they're like, oh, you were playing different and this and that. So I know that room the wrong way. On top of that, pro points. And on top of that, they felt like we.

we over we over performed we shouldn't have really got in second place in the lead or top six that you know we just got i don't know lucky or whatever it is yeah we had a good day and which i don't agree with because they were like we had bad screams we had bad this like no shoot the first week and you know a few days we're playing we're not playing the best like we're a new team we obviously as the time and more time goes on we're going to be a better team so obviously you know we're going to play better later on as we have more time. And so I didn't agree with that,

but it was accumulation of those three. We overperform my pro points and then me at land. I would say, that was a learning experience for you, but for a player like you, and there are certain players like that, like a pred.

If a pred shows up and he's just like, like I just want to be locked in, whether it's like, because your adrenaline is, going more. It doesn't have to be nervous, doesn't have to be nervous, or you're anxious or you're scared.

Yeah. Like, it can just, like, you enter this state of, like, let me just put my headphones on. I lock in,

like, I just want to be focused for this match. Yeah. A player like Predd, like, can't really do that. Yeah. Like,

Pred has to be talking. What are we going to do? How does Brett want things ran? He needs to be, like, hyping up his teammates. He needs to be that loud, Fred. Yeah, yeah.

Um, and I think you're that. guy for not on how much of that guy you were for the huntsman but just seeing your personality i feel like you are sort of that guy yeah i definitely brought more energy you get quiet sui it's like what's going on here yeah that's what they're like i would say you hit it's just like a what's going on and what you got to start asking what's going on about your teammates it it it like yeah not flip a switch but like it does something to where you're like too what's like yeah i get going on here.

Start doubting or whatever, resent resenting. But I will say you hit it on a nail because that's literally what I, I later to him, like, I just want to be, like, locked in. Like, I'm not trying to make the game bigger than itself. Like, I'm just focused. And because once, I mean, if you look at the numbers, like, you look at the games, like, I wasn't any shoot it on. I wasn't, oh, he was so nervous.

He, you know, he got pooped out. Like, I was, I was still playing, you know, solid. I was the same as everyone else, you know? So it wasn't anything like I got, I was so nervous. It was more of my calms and my energy is what it was. And that was just because I was trying to stay locked. But again, it's a learning thing. Like, I haven't played as much lands as these guys who's been, you know, in the league.

How many lands you've been to? I went to Dreamhack last year and I've been to these three. So that was four. I've been to four in my life. And that was my first one like on a stage like that, you know, in the program. But again, the next day, I applied what they said. And I promise you, I would, you could look at. Cliffs. Like, I'm standing up. I'm screaming. I'm pointing. I'm getting loud midgame. Like,

I just felt a lot more confident and like, okay, let me be that guy, you know, for my team. And I play definitely a lot better, too, on that Saturday. So that's something I could take like, hey, just be you. That's what I'm telling us. Just be you. So, you know, like. And you got to think other teams are thinking that too. No one wants to lose the Swoody. Yeah. No one wants to get shooted on. No one wants Swoody standing up and telling us. telling them they got shoot at all. Yeah, not facts. So, like, yeah, you just got to be you.

I think one thing about me, too, like, that kind of reminds me to, like. See, even Dashy's coming to pick. Let's go. Now, one thing I will say, though, what I don't like, you guys saw how transparent I was with you guys. I have flaws. A lot of these challenger players, really, they don't, they're, I'm not saying you have to admit it, but they like to deny it. Like, I'll, you know, I'll be the one to say, you know, I was, I had a little bit more

anxiety. These guys, it'll be the shittiest, it'll be the shudiest players trying to play it off like, they're just cool. They smoke six before their match and like, but they are frightened. I see that, I see that mentality in

amateur players way more than professional players. Yeah. They're just faking it. Pro players, like you'll sit, I'll sit there and I don't really see it as much anymore because I'm not around the team, but especially like, even with our team now, like they'll be crowded around and like, Shotsie will be like, ah, yeah, that

I should have done that. And like he's saying that to his team or like, you know, that doesn't, I don't see that happen a lot in, in the amateur team. Well, in challengers, people don't want to, everyone wants to be next up. So they don't want to say like, oh, that's true. This is my flaw. Yeah. I mean, I think the whole, I got nervous here, bro.

This round five, bro, I was so nervous sitting in this. Like, no one wants to admit that flaw. Like everyone wants to seem like that. Everyone wants to look. Yeah, they want to look, look the part so they get picked up. I think the whole thing about challengers is, I think. I think it's all ass backwards. I really do.

Now you have an entire league where the league is not about winning. Winning is like a side piece to keep all these guys coming back to, you know, play for crumbs while they're all stat hoaring in order to try to get to the league. Like, it's such a bad, it's not even real, it's like not even real competition. Nobody's going to pick up the X factor player. Like, yeah. Nobody's going to pick up the guy who is, you know, always in the hill and going for trades, the first end.

Or like just making the right plays. They're going to pick up the guy who's, you know, out on the layer, getting all the kills. Right. Yeah. They're going to drop the guy with a one. If a guy drops a 0.9 and then the other guy drops up 1.1, they're going to pick up the 1.1 player. This is. Yeah.

Especially if you if you don't have somebody that's like, if you're like Boston Breach or like Cloud 9 where they're just trying to fill rosters, like you're not going to, you're not going to pick. You're not going to have somebody in there and be like, no, this guy's making the right play. Like this guy's making the right play all the time, even though his stats aren't there. Yeah. this these guys do this like these are the two players that would work best for us like trust I mean Zin's in a bad spot I don't I don't think it's like uh I think not to defend Zinn as if I know exactly what what went on but I think Zinni truly does believe in you but I think he did have three teammates who like made the final choice and he just can't really and there's also a lot like it was it was it's been Zin's dream It's been Zin's dream for like three years to get a challenger's team. Like he's been talking about this shit forever, but it just had to be the right scenario,

which is the huntsman. And now he's at a point where this is the first year that Zin's really been included in a challengers team. And there's a possibility for that team that he helped, you know, cultivate to make it to a world championship. And then also another pro M. in EWC which is like the biggest tournament

that any challengers team could play in. Yeah. And so he's, I think that's just where his mind is. Yeah, I get it. You know, he's,

now it's at a point where like, he can guarantee a spot in at least one of those. Yeah. So you can't really fault. You can't, I know it, I know it ate him up.

Yeah. I know it did. Because I didn't, I was in Arizona, so I didn't know any of this was happening. I saw it on Twitter or I saw it as it was being announced. And I was like, damn,

I know, I know, getting eaten up by this. But you hear us say all this and your head are you like, nah, fudge that. He still could have. That's true. It's like 50-50.
