Starting point is 00:00:00 What, man? Is that hard work? Is that hard work grinding every day? Just getting shit done. Is it hard work grinding every day? Yeah, man. Get that. You get that. A few of us get that.
Starting point is 00:00:18 I get it, man. It's not looking like this some days. There's a hard grind out there. Harder than 9 to 5. It's definitely harder than 9 to 5. You up with three vlogs last week? Like 5 in the past month? You think people could do what you do?
Starting point is 00:00:37 Nah. I don't think so. You're talking about the nine to fiveers? Nah. Just regular people. You think they could do what you do? That's why they don't. Because they can't.
Starting point is 00:00:47 The episode of the fly. Episode. Who really cares? Except the real ones do care. Except the few real ones that be watching every single week. Do you think how... Do you think there are people out there that have watched every single episode? There's at least...
Starting point is 00:01:20 There's got to be one. There's probably a few. Besides Matt, besides Matt. You even watch, like the Scuff House ones? Oh. You've watched all of them.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Before he started doing it. You watched the incident days? He was like, let me do my... Yeah, I think I've seen every single. Oh, shit. All right, Matt Craig. Matt Craig and who else?
Starting point is 00:01:40 Leave in the comments section below. I wonder who the last person to watch, like, episode eight was. Like, it had to have been like two years ago. Can we look up episode eight? We did this before. What could episode eight possibly? I don't know. Let's take a guess of where it is.
Starting point is 00:01:58 It's either in like the movie theater room, the living room, the dining, movie theater, dining room. I bet you it was in the dining room. If I were to guess. And I'm going to be wearing my banana. Your banana hat and your rimmed glasses. What was it? Banana.
Starting point is 00:02:18 What kind of hat is that? Oh. Oh, like a sun hat, like a, what are those? Bucket hat. Bucket hat. Banana. Banana. I think it was a banana bucket hat.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Episode eight. I don't even know if we were doing episodes back then. We were just like recording. What the fuck? This is episode eight? How did we start this off? See, I'm telling you, we called it the fly cast because look at how we're dressed. Bro, we only did seven episodes.
Starting point is 00:02:44 We dressed fresh. I came with that shit on. We would try to find some weird intro I bet you that was us trying to film the The thumbnail I bet you that's what that was We only did six episodes in the scuff house Bro, I thought we did like 20 episodes in the scuff house
Starting point is 00:03:03 Our flycast should just be watching a flyer Can we have a fly cast watching a flyer? I'm down, I'm down Look at that room Look how debt If people want to know what Infinite was like That's what it was like A office room
Starting point is 00:03:17 and they just threw a scuff poster on the floor. Yeah. That was left over from the scuff house. I would do. And who knows if they even put it there? Like, you might have brought it in and been like, all right, we need something in the back. This is literally like a conference, like a small conference room in an office. I hope this stays a weekly thing.
Starting point is 00:03:40 That did not have it. The top comment is I hope this stays weekly. Oh, man. Just scroll up a little bit. or let me just see I did I thought we did way more episodes
Starting point is 00:03:53 how long hour 26 dude I can't believe I was setting all this up recording it editing it then giving it to you and you uploading it
Starting point is 00:04:02 yep it's fucking that's how it should have been that's not how it should have been well and I was King vlog at the time whose idea was it
Starting point is 00:04:09 for the podcast I think it was us both of us I don't think it was somebody's idea because I think what it was is we were
Starting point is 00:04:16 driving in the Jeep talking about some shit. And then I was like, bro, we need cameras on us. Like, we're so interesting as people that like the two of us need, people need to know our genius of what goes through our heads. And luckily that's that's what happened. And then we created this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:36 Like, because we'd have conversations and be like, man, if there was just like, if we just had like a camera just set up at the top of the Jeep, point down a little goat, people would be like, Damn, these conversations are so good. Damn. And now it's evolved into this. Has it evolved or devolved? I don't know. I think it's gone through waves.
Starting point is 00:04:56 It does go through waves. I think there was a time, I think there was a time where it was like, dude, episode eight we were already saying, guess who's back? Oh, we're back on our grind. Episode eight. We couldn't make it two months. Yeah, there's definitely been waves of fly gas. It's like there's, there's been, uh, what do you think the reasons of quitting were? Was it all me?
Starting point is 00:05:20 No. Because back then we weren't like obligated to do it. Right. It was just like our fun little thing. It was our fun little thing with those cheap ass mics. How much do you think those mics cost, Matt? Not a lot. Yeah, it's got to be 20 bucks, right?
Starting point is 00:05:37 Now it's just, bro, this mic is so universal. Like, how haven't they made something better than the SM7B? They have. It's just the cheap. It's just the cheapest best quality. It's like the, like there are microphones that are like 30 grand or something like that. Like what Taylor Swift sings into and shit. Oh, that makes sense, I guess.
Starting point is 00:05:57 They're like, it's, I think it's less audio and it's more like the mics that they record instruments with. Like, those are fucking insane. Like, whenever you're playing guitar on one of those mics, you have to hit your last drum and you can't, no one in the room can talk. Like, everyone has to be like for like 30 seconds because you have to, like, like, like, let the strum strum out. Yeah. I wonder if it would
Starting point is 00:06:18 make a difference with like a podcast. I don't know. I was thinking there's a really nice road microphone and I was thinking about getting it
Starting point is 00:06:29 because I like the look of it for around the bar like a like a one that stays there but they're like 750 bucks. What do you mean that stays there? Because we kind of
Starting point is 00:06:40 sits on the table or like it captures both of your oh no no like it would be two of them so. But like we kind of all share microphones here. So I would like, I would like, I was thinking about getting like a home microphone for just the set. Yeah. But they're like 750 bucks.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Start investing. It's a right off. And I asked the person. I was learning about all this. I was talking to somebody from Road. And a lady I was talking to was like, you want that mic? That's a little overkill. Like I don't think you need that.
Starting point is 00:07:09 And I was like, I probably don't. It's a little overkill for your podcast. For any podcast. but yes for this one well it's like why would how would it I mean I guess yeah for like musical instruments and singing and stuff obviously what's the most expensive mic
Starting point is 00:07:26 like if you took this mic back to the 1980s would Michael Jackson sing on this and they'd be like oh my god it's amazing yeah the K2 that's what I was trying to get it's 830 bucks the K2 but there's like the premium small diaphragm condenser microphone that's 1600
Starting point is 00:07:43 but like what's like like what's like the studio grade microphone price they're like extremely expensive so google what microphone does drake use or what microphone does taylor swift use who knows bro what microphone was drake sony the sony now google that oh it's it's 20 k god damn 17000 dollars that's why it's fucking look that's what that's what that's what it is that's why when he was recording uh take care i could hear his his little breathing i remember when we were in the jeep i heard that i was like wait no rewind that we rebound and i was like look right before he it's like some kind of intro
Starting point is 00:08:30 and then right before he gets like the beat drops and he gets into the song you can hear yeah i might be oh wait no it's not that song look what you've done it's it is look what you've done I'm trying to remember like the intro But then it just goes It's like oh not In your basement So it's it in It introduced in 1992
Starting point is 00:08:57 So this software's been out for a long time Oh damn This hardware's been out for a long time 17,000 dollars So this would still be shit back then What The sure Mike Oh maybe I don't know
Starting point is 00:09:07 I was thinking like if you brought this back to 19 Oh I bet you so many rappers use this microphone I bet you so many rappers use like Like, because the thing is, is you, you can buy that mic, the Sony C800G. I bet you, that used to be exclusively studio microphones. But now you see rappers like, the most popular rap microphone is the SM7B. That's this. Makes sense.
Starting point is 00:09:35 I bet you that, that other microphone was like exclusively for the studio back then, but now so many people travel and make music. I bet you Benny Blanco's got three of those on his bus I want to hang out with that guy I want to hear him like make he makes beats and shit right no he makes I don't think he makes beats I think he puts together music like he arranges music they did a I saw a clip I haven't watched any
Starting point is 00:10:01 full episode of the like podcast that he has with Lil Dickie but they had Ed Shearin over and Ed Shearin had his guitar and Lil Dickie and is it Lil Dickie's wife that's with him on that pod it's some lady and I think I think it might be his wife maybe it's not maybe it's someone else but
Starting point is 00:10:19 they're just sitting there watching and Benny goes he was like this is how me and Ed used to make songs together and they put together a song in I don't know 10 minutes and it's like an Ed Sheeran's like an Ed Sheeran quality song they put it together
Starting point is 00:10:35 in 10 minutes but he would just he started like strumming he started strumming and he would record it Vin he would go yeah that and then switch to that and then he was like All right, give me a melody. And then Ed Sherry would take that and that, make it that, that. Yeah. Then a melody, put it under that.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And Ed Sherer would go, he was like, yeah, yeah, I like that. And then they would do the little. That's so cool, man. Isn't that cool? Wait, can you look that up? Can you look up the edge here and put together? There it is.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Let's do it. I don't know. What's with this fucking creepy baby? I don't like to talk about its creepiness because I understand what you're saying. Yeah, just fine whenever they're making music. I definitely ruffled some feathers being in. Guy Farrones. Ed Sheeran. Oh, he did ruffle feathers in Game of Thrones.

Are you one of those media strategy people clicking through slides, scrolling spreadsheets? Yes? Good. This is for you. Because on Spotify, there's an audience that's different. Locked in. Loyal, invested. They're called fans. Fans don't just listen to music. They feel seen by it like it belongs to them. So when your brand shows up on Spotify, that's who you're talking to. And you're right next to artists like me. Lizzo. So, are you ready to talk to fans?
Starting point is 00:12:17 Spotify advertising. You're among fans. Everyone has a goddamn podcast. Yeah. Yeah, it's that. It's that. Are you getting sick of pods? No. I mean, you have your own. You like, you like your shit. I like my, yeah. But I feel like a lot of, I mean, the Optic Pod, Flycast, there was a Halo pod, game chat. Yeah. I will say, I mean, I enjoy the flycast. I enjoy.
Starting point is 00:12:46 optic pod it's it's way more fun when you are involved in the all of it and when you do it all yeah when you're involved in like the branding and the he's on the toilet when you're involved in like the branding and in the the planning and all of that it's it is a lot more fun because you feel so much more rewarding yeah but an interview show is is tough i will say it is tough whenever you went to l.A. for a week and you how many pods did you end up doing six was it like back to back to back yeah it was one in the morning one at night like almost every day oh really yeah yeah how was uh what's it like like preparing for that because i feel like you are pretty good just like you're knowledgeable about a lot of e-sports sort of stuff and even like the business
Starting point is 00:13:33 side of stuff and different genres but like are you sitting there like all right i have this guy say it's the night before i got this guy tomorrow morning like i have to let me i need to start writing shit down. Like I need to get questions down and like really or you just do you just kind of trust yourself to like clutch up. It's kind of like a mix of both. I think I've gotten way better at figuring out what questions to ask because I used to have like that pad next to me and I still have it there just in case I need it. But by the time I write down like eight or nine questions, just me writing it down makes me remember it. So I usually have like a segue. But also, I don't want to rely too much
Starting point is 00:14:17 because I don't want it to be an interview show I wanted to be us having drinks and talking so it also it depends it depends like I was kind of nervous for the nice wig episode which is going to be out in like a month at this point
Starting point is 00:14:31 but I was kind of nervous because I was my first time ever meeting him and I haven't watched Apex I don't know anything about Apex but that was such an easy one because he was really good he's really good on camera
Starting point is 00:14:44 we ended up about almost everything but apex like we were just talking about random stuff like those are the fun those are the really fun ones yeah people that come and they're shy like um i don't think jb team was shy but he's you know how he is he's just kind of like uh did you just record that or it was like it was like a year ago okay and then one with genji as well genji was genji was really shy but i feel she was she was really good and her her that episode did did very very well but there's always there's a moment, what I really like about around the bar is there's a moment in almost every episode where it just clicks, where it's just like, even, especially if I don't know the person, like, if I do
Starting point is 00:15:25 it with James or I do it with you, like, it's going to be easy. Right. But the one with Silky, um, you don't know how it's going to go. No idea. And it also depends on their, how are they going to come into it? Right. Exactly. But there was a moment like it, like 45 minutes into the Silky episode where like it just clicked and we were like I like I was just asking random questions and like I didn't refer to anything that I had written down like that happened that's like that happens in almost every episode and that part I really like I saw that one that was a good one yeah what's uh what's what was the most what guests have you prepared for the most Tyreekill besides Tyreek Hill and okay let's go back to Tyreek what were you because you obviously
Starting point is 00:16:10 that was like your biggest first interview. Yeah. You had no time to prep. But what did you do? Just fucking wiki him? Yeah. So I usually find a podcast that they've already done, that the guest is already done, and two times speed it and listen to it.
Starting point is 00:16:29 So that I don't ask the same question. I want to know like the base question, like the base of their, because if I, if I didn't interview with fucking. in Denzel Washington, I wouldn't be like, what made you want to do acting? You know what I mean? Like, because they get asked that.
Starting point is 00:16:48 They probably answer that question like 900 times. That's a question I'd ask. What made you want to become an actor? Like, when did you know? Like, what age? Was it like, did you play sports? Like, when I first started around the bar, I took a lot of inspiration from Hot Ones.
Starting point is 00:17:06 But Hot Ones is so, hot ones is like not a conversation. It's like, it's almost like Sean Evans like flexing how. At this point, it's like, come on. It's like, we get it. You have such good questions. He is the fucking goat, though. He is the goat, though.
Starting point is 00:17:26 He is the goat. But it is almost like him flexing like, like you, you kind of go there. Like people that go to hot ones, go for the wings. And of course, they go because Sean Evans has such good, like, that they've never asked or never been asked before. But it's not so, do you know who Nardwar is? Uh-huh. It's not so crazy where it's like Nardwar.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Because Nardwar is like a nutcase. Yeah, Nardwar, if they're like, he's like, oh, I brought you this. I forget for you. This is a, uh, look at this. And it's something that he's like, oh my, what the. How do you? Yeah. And is there a story behind this?
Starting point is 00:18:03 Uh, yeah. My dad showed me this once when I was four that he had this. record and then as he fucking that was the last time I ever saw him this reminds me of my dad that I never saw again and that in that uh you know you use that as an inspiration for and then he'll hand him another vinyl that's like the same title of a song this guy just made and they're just like what the fuck like Nardwar are you psycho like how do you know this and like you're Tyler the creator we have to know. I always thought like maybe it's just like a fucking weirdo part of my brain. But when Hot Ones was like getting popular
Starting point is 00:18:50 I always wondered if Sean Evans like was ever annoyed that people compared him to Nardwar. I was always wondering. Oh yeah. I don't see it. It's just in the only the only
Starting point is 00:19:05 similarities is the fact that they ask good questions. They ask questions that art like how did you become a rapper yeah what was your inspiration for i wonder about how narwhart does his research i don't know because he's got to like i don't know because whenever you did hot once for Seths set didn't you like ask his mom yeah he asked his mom and we asked his brother we asked uh i don't remember if we asked is and are you saying like don't tell him we've contacted yeah yeah yeah yeah and that That is the way to do it.
Starting point is 00:19:41 But I wonder, like, what, you know, how Nardwar maneuvers and finds out certain things. Yeah. Because that's always tough to do. It's tough to, like, I don't think I'm good at asking. I can kind of, like, keep a conversation going, I guess. And maybe, like, spew on random topics. But, like, I don't know how to, I don't think I'm good, good with, like, knowing good questions to ask someone. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:06 So like, because you want, you want to ask a question to where they go on a tangent. Right. Yeah. At least I would think so. And then you can bounce off of that. You want to ask a question that can go 20 minutes. Yeah, that'll give an answer. And then whatever that answer is, you can sort of go off that.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Yeah, yeah. It's fucking, I always tell people, I think podcasting. And maybe it's just podcasting for me. I do believe, like, Joe Rogan, I think he's just naturally good at podcasting. Yeah. And he, like, he knows a lot. So he can kind of, anywhere you sort of go. with it, whether it's sports, fighting,
Starting point is 00:20:39 uh, space aliens, the government politics, or just like growing up. Like he knows how to, he can conversate about anything. I feel like, that's very, it's a hard skill. I think that's a hard skill to have. People will joke about it and say it's not, but like,
Starting point is 00:20:54 people say like he, like, fuck Joe Rogan. Or like he sucks. Like, Joe is not, bro. He's done like 2,000 episodes. It's got to be more than that. Is it? How many episodes it's Joe Rogan done. Like, you might not like him for his political views.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Political views, of course, because that's why you wouldn't like him because he's not on your side. 2,500 episodes. Oh, shit. Holy shit. I thought it'd be even more than that. But with the MMA shows and the, what is it called, Protect Our Parks, it's at 2750. Protect Our Parks is like the thing he does with the three comedians. That's so insane, bro.
Starting point is 00:21:34 That is so hard to do. That is so hard to do. I mean, he does get new gas. He'll have, he has a bunch of new gas. He'll do his research. And I'm guessing it's his biggest sorts of income. So I'm sure he does take it super serious. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:51 But it's just like, bro, podcast, like conversating. Even just like, some people are just good at that in real life. It's like, it doesn't even have to be a podcast. Some people are just, I just never thought I was made for a podcast. I still don't think I'm made for a podcast. I think I sit right here in my little bubble. The Joe Rogan experience is not like the fact that he did 2,500 episodes of an interview show, that means there's, because he's done a couple repeats. So he's probably had 2,000 guests on.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Like, dude, that is crazy. Because, like, I can see if like the basement yard will probably go this far. the yard might go this far and like those are the same guys the same guys get on the Joe Budden podcast like those are the same guys every time that'll get on and they just vibe with each other kind of like what you know what this is
Starting point is 00:22:46 but he has a different person on like every time talking about different things you'll have a fucking government guy on and then a military guy on and then a sports guy on and then a musician on and he's just than a fighter than a comedian yeah and a singer than a he's just banging them out like that's
Starting point is 00:23:02 that's so hard to do he's good at it. He did one with like, he did one with like Bernie Sanders and then Roger Waters, like back to back. And it's like one's a, one's a rock star from the 60s and the other one's like a government, you know, in like a big politician. And he's just carrying on two and a half hour long conversations with both of them. Yeah. Like that's, if I had a politician on my show, I don't know what I would do. I don't. I mean, I could just, I feel like I would just ask questions about like other shit. like have him explaining government to me but then that would just be boring as shit yeah see the the the bobbler top episodes bob lazar alien guy Donald trump 66 million views Donald trump obviously
Starting point is 00:23:49 we know where trump is edward snowden uh another uh whistleblower right uh politician Elon musk Alex Jones Graham I don't know who Graham Hancock he's like uh I think he's more like Egyptians and old artifacts and shit like that yeah I mean this is so it's so dude that Russell Brand one from seven years ago is so entertaining I remember watch I listened to that at the gym
Starting point is 00:24:15 in the scuff house isn't he like canceled now or something he got he got really into politics I don't understand how people get into politics dude I think Russell Brand was like dude like when he was like before I would say before he cheated on Katie Perry.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Pre-Katee Perry Russell Brand was, dude, it's just the way he puts words together. It's like flow of consciousness. There was something that made me think he was a dick, but I could appreciate his skill to talk. Russell Brand admits to sleeping with a 16-year-old.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I guess that was the cancel stuff. Oh, I didn't know. I didn't know about that. See, but it's like, I thought we were talking about him cheating on Katie Perry. Well, I guess maybe if he said it. He admitted. But, like, we're just seeing a head, like, imagine we read that on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:25:12 We're fucking, you see that on Twitter? Like, you see the headline. You're like, oh, my God, are you serious? What a sick fuck, fuck him? Then you just scroll. But then, like, maybe he's like, no, I didn't. But it's just like a headline. What would make him, what would make him, first of all, do that?
Starting point is 00:25:30 Second, what would make him admit that? Yeah, I wonder how old he was. Oh, what is he? Like 40? He's up there. So that moves, yeah, that's, uh, that's, uh, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a cancelization. He was like, he was like 20.
Starting point is 00:25:46 He was like, he was a movie star when we were in like middle school, I think. Oh, he's 50. Okay. Damn. Yeah. That's a cancelization. Well, I don't, I don't know if he just did it. I don't, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:00 But, yeah, there's a cancelization regardless. All right, now can you go to the Ed Shear and things so we can show it to Nick? This should have been my life, man. If I didn't choke into... Look at this. Is she just holding up a shear mic? Yes. Just finding the beat.
Starting point is 00:26:22 Finding the rhythm. So if you do the... Okay. Oh, yeah, of course. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I got it from here. We've done this on a time. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:31 And the fact that it's not... Like, I already like it. And I already like it. I think just the fact that it's not hip-hop makes it like more impressive. I don't know why but I feel like hip hop but I know
Starting point is 00:26:44 I know that's not the case like I know sampling is very hard he just goes to the bathroom comes back Oh light Do you want it to be Like These motherfuckers are so cool
Starting point is 00:26:55 And I'm so average Summary Yeah friendship Their friendship in life is so cool Friendship in your 30s And he's just putting together. Dude, people say, people, people, people joke about how, like, why don't you do this? Because I'm not nearly as talented as anybody in that room.
Starting point is 00:27:17 You don't think you could do like a strum, like a, he's not strumming, dude. Oh yeah, I could do that. And then I'll put that, record that, throw it up, and then. And then do like five chords. Yeah, but the way Ed Shear and strums, people joke that he only, he's like a, he's like a cowboy guitarist because he doesn't like ever go up the neck. He only does here. but like even his picking style is so good is he like actually a good guitarist no well I don't think he tries to be
Starting point is 00:27:46 what's he good at songwriting this like this is like these are those are relatively easy chords yeah I was going to say the guitar is way out of tune tune I love the hell yeah
Starting point is 00:28:05 that be me I love the new I haven't said anything for 10 minutes bro i fucking love the we should make a song you start with some guitar shit and i'll try to piano yeah oh so they are together okay unless they were hugging like that for no reason and then they just put together and then now he's just writing
Starting point is 00:28:29 the final such an average singer you are ed oh he is is he no i've just heard he used to not be good at singing and then he like took singing lessons and like just figured out how to you make his voice sing a ball.
Starting point is 00:28:46 Right. He probably just knows he probably knows his range so well. Like he probably... I didn't know he was fully gadded. He probably has like three like chord progressions that are like really good for his vocals and he just sticks to those. Maybe I mean I would assume I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Oh is this the full song? This spring, denim gets a softer, lighter update introducing old Navy's drapey denim wide leg, a new fit that moves with you. It's everything you want denim to feel like for summer. Easy, breathable, and effortlessly cool. With a fit that creates natural movement and a wide leg that feels modern, not overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Plus, that signature, wait, for this price, moment. Old Navy's drape you denim wide leg. They're just packing it up. All right, song done. Song done. 16 minutes. Dude. So much fucking aura.
Starting point is 00:30:17 There is so much... There's so much... There's so much talent, man. There's so much talent in that room. There should have been me. It should have been me. Instead of Benny. But if I really had the talent,
Starting point is 00:30:30 I probably would, uh... You know, it's like, people stick with what they're good at. Like, when I started playing Halo, I was like, wait, I'm kind of good at this, and then I get better, and then you just stick with it. What do you think you would have been the best at
Starting point is 00:30:41 if you dedicated all your time to it? Like, if you maxed out... one of your bars in one thing, what would have taken you the furthest? Like a natural ability? If you put all the effort that you put into Halo into something else. I felt like I was naturally good at football. Football, okay. Over basketball.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Like just catching the awareness. Like I think I would have been a good like outside line. If I would have hit the weights in middle school and would have just been like, You're going to need to put on some weight outside linebacker in college. Do you think you're tall enough to be an outside linebacker? Yeah. As long as I'm like six foot fucking kind of chunky. Six foot kind of chunky?
Starting point is 00:31:31 You think if you would have maxed out football? No, but I'm trying to think. A smaller linebacker. You could have done it. Typically, oh shit, they're typically between 6-1, 6-4. Dude, they're huge. 2.30 to 250? They're pure muscle.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Not like how you were like. Maybe I maybe, no, I would probably would have got eight a line. But I'm not talking to NFL. You would have maxed out your bar and not gotten to the NFL? It's definitely, fuck no. What are we talking about here? Well, I was thinking maybe, but then I saw those stats and I was like, okay, maybe not. I don't know what it would have been.
Starting point is 00:32:07 I, I am very interested in like, if I would have, like, really took music serious and, and like been responsible about it and like really tried to learn even like maybe took i've taken classes before and i was i was always just like interested in it yeah um even just like some of the boring stuff i found pretty interesting but that was at a time to where like i couldn't function without adderall and then when i take adderall i'd just be up for days and then i'm like my brain's not even in the right space i'm like i'm never finishing a song because i'll get stuck and then but I want to work on something, so I'll just make a new one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:46 I just, I did it totally wrong. I would like to see if I maxed out my music bar, how far that could have took me. Yeah. Because I did think I had like a decent ear and understood what could be good and not and maybe get a little creative. But other than that, I don't know. I don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:10 Besides gaming. I don't know either, bro. I don't know either. Because I used to think it would be like music as well. Like what else is there? I used to think it would be music. But then it doesn't matter what music I listen to. Like I will watch a really insane guitar player.
Starting point is 00:33:25 That nobody knows. Like a guy who uploaded a short that has 500 likes and he's just unbelievable. Like, and I'm like, I don't know if I could ever get there. Even if I had put all of my effort into this, I don't know if I could. Like there. there are kids nowadays like nine to 15 years old that are ripping out like eddie van hayland full songs it's like dude oh i don't know i don't know if i could have ever done it what about like what if you put all your stats in uh i guess production like video production
Starting point is 00:34:03 uh i don't think i was ever that great at it i think maybe like full like full little like you know like those video essays that people do like the the little like pseudo documentaries on on YouTube I think I'd be really good at that but I don't have the passion for it at all but I think I would be really good at that kind of stuff kind of like what I guess like I think I was really good at vision but it wasn't it wasn't because of the video production
Starting point is 00:34:33 it was just because I was putting stuff together that I think people wanted to watch Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. I don't think I think people put themselves in places where they're already kind of good. So like that's kind of where they had anyway. Maskins say some bullshit. Yeah, I don't think I got anything. This is it?
Starting point is 00:34:53 I hope not. Oh, shit. You didn't max out your, your production bar? I think it's maxed. It is maxed. I think it probably is maxed. That's what I'm saying. Like there's got to, there's something.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Untapped that needs more bar filled Yeah, but I don't know what that is Vlogging Dude, if you've seen Casey's new vlogs He's still the goat He's still the go he's still the go He's uploading again He kind of be pissing me off
Starting point is 00:35:22 Like he saw me fucking start up Now he's vlogging I start vlogging Heck starts you start vlogging You think I steal you Because you vlog Heck starts vlogging Because I vlog
Starting point is 00:35:36 Right Casey starts vlogging Casey starts vlogging. David Dobrick starts vlogging. Like, come on, man. Go stream or something, Casey. Like if you hadn't started, David Dobrick wouldn't have started back up.
Starting point is 00:35:50 No. Casey and Istatt wouldn't have started back up. Definitely not hacks. Now Swootie? I wonder who, yeah. Now fucking Swootie's busting his camera out. Soon James is going to start vlogging. He probably wants.
Starting point is 00:36:01 He really wants to. He probably wants to. James started a channel. James just vlogs. He just started it. he started it like two days ago Matt Craig's in trouble oh yeah just pull him out
Starting point is 00:36:14 what what happened what happened with Matt talking shit oh he's mad I had to go fix something because he maxed his bar out there was the my bar got maxed out at a certain point in tech problems I just
Starting point is 00:36:26 got all right I just can't matter different bar than we were talking about but also also makes sense we were saying we were saying if you maxed out a bar in your life what is the furthest you could have gone if you could redo it all over.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Max out your potential. Like if you put it all in, well, you put a lot in basketball, so it probably wouldn't be basketball. Like, is there something where you're like, damn, I would have been really fucking good at that if I played baseball? 100% baseball.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Yeah. My dad, my dad played D1 college. My brother played D1 college. I was better than my brother and threw harder than my brother, but some fucking stupid basketball coach or baseball coach ruined it for me in high school.
Starting point is 00:37:03 So I quit early out of like spite. I was like, no, I'd like hoop more anyway. You wouldn't have nearly as, much swag if you if if you play baseball instead of basketball yeah you got to be around the brothers in order to have the much swag that you do think so yes yeah what dude if you're around baseball players you got to be around the brothers well i mean because yeah i mean there's just like a lot of brothers everywhere there's like there's just a lot of culture i feel like there's an aura to baseball yeah but it's a different aura like they're more of like uh they're into like they're like
Starting point is 00:37:34 five years behind on trends where they're like getting into ultimate or boosts like now. Yeah, like now. And they're rocking fans and baseball not cool. They still wear rock joggers and Lulu Lemons the dopest shit ever. Yeah. Like baseball is the sport or they get mad when you throw your bat after you
Starting point is 00:37:51 hit a home run. To this day. That's like... I was never good at baseball. That's like if if fucking if Jama rant went up for a dunk and like held onto the rim for two seconds and everyone in the venue got mad. That's the equivalent of that. It's like if you hit fucking grand slam you're not allowed to celebrate what kind of pussy sport is this sorry it's the world
Starting point is 00:38:14 i think that's eased up a little bit that's the has it world has it eased up yeah because like there's been some celebration they don't do that in the baseball world classic though the wbc like you're allowed to celebrate so like uh let me see home let's see like Bryce harper yeah i remember when i played football I spiked the ball after a touchdown and they like caught it back because I wasn't allowed to do that. Really? Is this a screen that you guys are seeing?
Starting point is 00:38:41 Yeah, yeah. So like this type of shit he probably would have gotten in trouble for like in the MLB. Hang. Oh, he just watched that shit. Yeah! That's what I'm fucking talking about.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Throw that shit away. What did he? I feel like he didn't like do anything wrong at all. You're not allowed to celebrate. You're not allowed to do that. That's what I'm telling you. You're just supposed to like toss it slightly. And even this, this around third base, like he would have gotten in trouble for this.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yeah. Like this is considered terrible in the baseball world, or at least it used to be. So what is this? So the world baseball classic is like the World Cup. It's like the World Cup. U.S. versus Fantasy. So you can have a little more fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:24 You can actually play for fun. But an MLB that shit ain't flying? No. Dude, the catcher. I've seen people like, they'll, I've seen like clips, they'll hit a home run. They'll look at it for a little bit. They'll toss their bat. And then by the time they come home
Starting point is 00:39:39 The catcher is waiting for them Like Like already like fucking roasting them And like trying to fight I think this was another crazy one from this year Uh E-sports kind of allows anything huh? Yeah I love it
Starting point is 00:39:54 I love that like imagine in e-sports You weren't allowed to like you can't point directly Or you can't curse you can't point directly Some Valerant shit That's how Valorant happens They start bringing stuff to animals on stage and shit this is another one that oh my god
Starting point is 00:40:09 he cranked that shit oh my god baseball so fire i was never good at baseball the show is like full reaction baseball is so fire got the optic softball match coming up what are you playing in that when is it
Starting point is 00:40:25 ain't it like i mean is this shit announced oh that's or is it canceled brother what do you talk no uh oh that oh what You're talking about it's not an optic softball match. That's a YouTube video.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Damn, I wanted to play it. Oh, it was just like a random YouTube video? Yeah, so we're doing this thing. Oh, I thought it was like a, remember two years ago? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I thought it was like that. No, we're doing this thing where one of Hex's friends, uh, and I think like he's done, they've done business together.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Um, they own a baseball brand and they have a bunch of like the best 12 year old baseball players in the state. Oh, I'm not getting fucking pelted by one of these. You're not going to get. Helted. Yes, you will. They're going to get nervous. Oh, no, no. Oh, I did hear about this.
Starting point is 00:41:09 So you guys, it's going to be optic versus the best 12 year olds in the world at baseball. In like an actual game? No, we're doing like. We're just trying to hit off. Batting practice. Yeah, we're doing like five different mini games against the 12 year olds. I've always said that. Yeah, I don't think I can plan it.
Starting point is 00:41:25 I've always said like what the sidemen do with soccer and what AMP does with basketball, we could for sure do that with baseball or softball. like optic versus blank Optic versus YouTube or Optic versus Twitch streamers in a softball game Dude it would that would be Optic versus I mean I don't know I think that shit would be so fun
Starting point is 00:41:48 Like imagine us playing like the core guys That just like adapt and silky And like Ron and them in softball That shit would be hilarious I remember that our last softball thing we did My back was like already tweaked And then I like went there swung the bat a few times it was fucking hurting next day go to urgent care because my back was just
Starting point is 00:42:10 so messed up and then i'm in the same spot now for another softball match or another like so yeah softball thing but i told them i was like i'm not gonna lie like i'm not doing the same thing i did like two years ago and coming into that already injured and like swinging a bat would be the worst possible thing i could do for my back it's just like the worst so who's doing it now if nick's not doing it. Are you still trying to hold out see if Nick man's up? No, there's like, most of the games. This is the worst my back has ever been. You don't think you could like catch a ball?
Starting point is 00:42:42 Like if the drill was to catch a ball? I couldn't swing. I could probably try to catch. I wouldn't want to run. Well, there's like, I could participate in some way. I think even you there talking shit will be good for the content. Yeah, I told him I'd show up. What if you showed up in a wheelchair and like really overplayed your back? It could do that.
Starting point is 00:43:01 It's just like a full body cache out there. That would be good. What's the baseball movie? Doesn't one of them show up in a full body cat? Or no, it's grownups. I haven't seen grownups. You haven't seen grownups? What the fuck?
Starting point is 00:43:14 I might have a long time ago. Right, never mind. That's the one with like Jason Stadakas and. Adam Sandler. Oh. Oh, oh, with all the old guys that are. Yeah, I have seen that. I have seen that.
Starting point is 00:43:24 I haven't seen it so long now. You know the final scene where he shoots the arrow up in the sky and like they all run in different directions? no all right have I explained my back on the flycass yeah only in every episode have I though yeah I feel like I haven't gotten it off my chest
Starting point is 00:43:42 besides my vlogs I mean you can talk about it again I'm down I'm not here what happened man how'd you tweak your back so a month ago um I tweaked it squatting but in this on a serious note
Starting point is 00:43:57 this is the worst I've like ever fucked on my back I thought I got better after like two to two or three weeks it didn't i like slept on it wrong i got sick i was bed ridden i wasn't moving it was completely fucked up i went to the urgent care they took x-rays came back and they said scoliosis damn whenever they told me scoliosis i was like scoliosis like this is like that's like it's actually like scary to hear yeah it's like nobody wants like this and they said the like my spine's fine but then in the lower part of like my lower back it's starting it's starting to like curve a little bit.
Starting point is 00:44:30 And they said it was, it's probably like not scoliosis, but it's, it's technically twisting, but like it's just from the, I don't think I've explained this part, but it's from the, all the like, just the tightness and the inflammation, just like it always being tight and aggravated. It's starting to just like, it's just like fighting and slightly twisting my spine. So like hearing that, I was like, are you fucking kidding me? like this is like I have to like take care of this now. Like this is not like this is that type of shit where like you try to ignore when you're 50 you're fucked.
Starting point is 00:45:05 Yeah. So I mean that's kind of that's just what I've been dealing with the past month. I've said it on my vlogs and it is like it is kind of depressing. But you know I got a I got a good head on my shoulders these days. Good man. Switching it up. I do get kind of scared when I see old people that like walk. damn near vertical
Starting point is 00:45:29 or horizontal yeah my my grandma was super old but like she was super like sedentary just like you know grandma in her rocking chair yeah
Starting point is 00:45:41 every day all day yeah and it's like I don't you gotta take care of yourself now yeah I know yeah even like I'd be trying to tell Hex I'm like trust me man yeah like I remember you telling Hex that
Starting point is 00:45:54 eight years ago yeah and now we're like getting to But now we're seeing him with injuries and shit. Like his foot's almost like perma fucked up. And I'm like, bro, it's from like not, you know, you don't have to lift weights. One time we were on flycast and I was sitting like this with my foot like this. And he's screenshot that and said it to me. He said, bro, stop sitting like that.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Yeah. And I was like, what? He was like, that's how I got whatever he has on his foot. It's because he would always, this was like comfortable for him. I'm sure it's like that. But then it's he's not being. active outside of that. So all his foot experience, like he walks,
Starting point is 00:46:31 he'll walk around the office, but then when he gets home, he's like sitting. He's not like biking or going or like walking. Or just walking, incline walk, losing weight. That obviously helps with just every kind of inflammation and every kind of, it's just easier on the body, the less you weigh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:48 But, uh, it's true. It's catching up to me. Fucking, I've tweaked my back multiple times before. It always takes a few weeks. 10th grade tweaked it. It took like a month And then I was hard again Yeah
Starting point is 00:46:58 Still kind of bothered me a little Tweaked it multiple times Takes a couple weeks Takes a month But this time it's It's been like over a month X rays I'm hearing scoliosis and shit
Starting point is 00:47:08 I'm straight sciatica Like just from here All the way down my leg And just constantly 24-7 It's fucking I don't know It's been tough Yeah
Starting point is 00:47:19 It's been tough Like not being active I feel like I'm shrinking I'm tiny again Yeah And it was a big part of sort of my journey and my vlogs and even like my Instagram
Starting point is 00:47:30 reels and stuff, I felt like it was a big that was this year sort of journey that I was pushing. So it's like without that I just, now we got to do girls. Now we got to bring girls into the picture. Because I don't have the fitness to fill my, you know, I'm going for this goal. I'm getting
Starting point is 00:47:48 shredded. That was the whole goal. And now I feel like that's put on pause. Okay. And now we're going and Now we're going this way. So girl. What girl can I click bait? Oh, so girls are the new, that's the new wave for you.
Starting point is 00:48:04 That's where I'm at right now. Oh, cow. I'm that, I'm that YouTuber now. Can't upload a video without a female with a thumbnail. It does help. I remember it helping. It does help. I don't remember those days.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Bro, I'm so glad. Whenever I started making YouTube or vlogs again, I think I was talking to you and I was like, bro, if it's over 15K, I'll be happy. Yeah. Like, I remember my first vlog back. Like, if it's over like 15K, I'll be happy. Because, like, when you upload a vlog or like any video, you'll, hour later, you'll refresh. Five hours later, five hours later, you'll refresh.
Starting point is 00:48:39 And you're like, you'll see, like, been live for five hours. It's at, like, 1.8K views. And you're like, fuck, I suck. Yeah. But I was hope, like, I knew in the beginning it would do pretty well. But months down the line, I was like, bro, I don't know where this is going to go. like people are going to get tired of the fitness stuff I think people really fuck
Starting point is 00:49:00 and I haven't watched them no offense but I think people really fuck with that old school style YouTube that you did with like the muckbang that you did people really fuck with that I think so too and that's like easier to do
Starting point is 00:49:13 I mean it costs 140 bucks and you had to took some organization right but that was yeah I think those are those are like I want to try to bring more of those back.
Starting point is 00:49:27 That's definitely what like optics's been missing. I'm gonna upload, I'm vlogging today. I just uploaded one, look at my latest. I just uploaded this this morning. Doing decent. I don't like the thumbnail,
Starting point is 00:49:39 the orangeness. Yeah. I guess it's not horrible. That's not terrible. But it, um, I don't like that. But it's doing pretty well.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Holy shit. Your optic murk, Optic Merck and Hexco fishing got over 100K. That shit was bang. But it was a vibey little video. Even after the fishing, I was like, I think I might be able to make something with this. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:58 Because I didn't know what. It was a lot of B-roll. When you're fishing, I mean, really not shit going on. Dude. And it's tough to have the trying to fish and have the camera rolling. Like, it was tough to do, but we somehow figured it out. Wow. Merck really is that guy.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Yeah, I think he was in another thumbnail. Yeah, we don't got to look at those. Merrick is really that fucking guy. There's the flycasts. There's the flycasts. You don't have to scroll down too much to see my last videos from four years ago. Yeah, that's fucking go. But yeah, I want to make like one, uh, that,
Starting point is 00:50:39 look at my 1V1 versus skump. Formal crushes skump with his calves. See, like, I put, I did a, I did a title and thumbnail test. Why did that win? Because I think it was just like optic versus scump, one view or something like there were other options that could have been clicked on i can't believe that was the one that was that was the one that was the one that was the dashy and snacks one i don't think that was the one that was the one that was the one that uh wait click i was the one
Starting point is 00:51:06 or something in my thumbnail for that maybe not yeah i think you know so you've been ab testing like thumbnails and titles yeah and i don't think formal and four more and dashy yeah that was the one that was the one that uh wait click on that was the one that was like i have a new girlfriend or something. Yeah. What the... And Dashie beat out your new
Starting point is 00:51:24 girlfriend. So girls aren't the wave. But for me... Go back to guys. For me, that shows up. That thumbnail. Oh, I went on a date and recorded it?
Starting point is 00:51:32 Yeah. I think... Yeah, that should be it, right? Maybe it's still A-B testing. It usually takes a week, right? I'm pretty sure it showed that one. Because I feel like that was a good thumbnail and that's a banger title.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Well, I mean, that's still testing. So it hasn't come up with a... You can check your YouTube studio. It was saying. I thought that was the winner. That's why I was confused when the other thumbnail. But yeah, sort of just getting into YouTube more, the people, the people fucks with it. And I think it's because for a long time, it's just podcasts and podcasts.
Starting point is 00:52:12 I feel like that's, that's just been what we've been doing for a while. So I think even vlogs, when I did the Jolly Bee video, I was like, this ain't a podcast, the ain't a vlog. Right. Like we're doing something. And I think a lot of people did really like it. I do want to do like maybe a vlog, vlog, maybe two vlogs a week if there's really something to vlog.
Starting point is 00:52:30 And then I would like to do like one kind of video like that where me and a few other people in Optic do something like that. Yeah. I don't know. I don't have, I'm not good with coming up with ideas for that kind of stuff. But when pops in my head, I'm down. But like even trying to get, I remember. but it's just getting people there like hexes i told hex like your garage 12 jollybee video and he's
Starting point is 00:52:58 like i'm down and you know hex he's going to be hex's down yeah and then it's like i'll text bo's and i'm like yo tomorrow you want to be in a like can you do this jollyby video and he's like uh i don't know let me see like i might have to something some some yeah not he's like but i'm down though and then i like text him later i'm like yo tomorrow you down no response next morning, yo, can you, no response? And I'm just, then I'm like, okay, let's push this to Monday. And then I get everyone on a Monday. And I'm like, Pam, be there at noon.
Starting point is 00:53:28 And then like the next morning, he was like, what time should I be there? I'm like, be there at noon. He was like, and then he sends a voice memo. He's like, bro, tell me a specific time to be there. And I was like, noon equals 12. He was like, bro, when you say noon, that means like one, two, three. I was like, no. noon equals 12
Starting point is 00:53:48 and then he was like dude are you brain dead and that's when I got I'm pissed Is he rage beating you? No He wasn't rage baiting me I was like you just called me brain dead when you were being brain dead And then he texts me I'm like
Starting point is 00:54:02 Be there no later than noon 12 and then he texts me An hour and a half before the shoot He was like I'll be I should be there around 1230 And I was like What are you not understanding? We're not getting there at 12 with all the food and then waiting 30 minutes for you to get there at 1230
Starting point is 00:54:21 and he was just like all right fine i'll be there i'll be there at noon i'm just like and then it's just like all right door dash is on its way let me meet them outside the gate bring it in pam's lost trying to get there and i'm just like god like it takes it's not like it used to be yeah it's not like the scuff house not like you can just go downstairs now and because now everyone's so you're just not people got girls family streams yeah whatever that everyone's sort of living their own life now so it's like you got it's it's like pulling teeth trying to get people together to do a video but i think people did really enjoy it yeah and i think it'd be good just for i mean my channel but just optic in general for people to see more videos from people that's not like optic production yeah for
Starting point is 00:55:13 sure not not like forced content but just like the old days yeah like i think the top comment was like this reminds me to 60 50 i like something like that yeah yeah this reminds me of the scoffice yeah i mean that's that's the goal i mean that there was a we we we're definitely missing that lane right now yeah and i think if you with you and hex vlogging again like that's really healthy and then if you start doing those videos as well that's even better we need to start bring back would you Rathers? Would you Rathers?
Starting point is 00:55:43 I think of what I would just one Just one would you rather? Because I feel like we were doing them like every other week we'd do a Would you rather for someone else's channel. Yeah. I remember,
Starting point is 00:55:53 do you remember Aaron Create got in trouble for doing a did he? Yeah, because he said some like crazy, like one of the would you rather's was something crazy. It was something about like a quadriplegic or something. And then Proofy put his hands
Starting point is 00:56:10 in his shirt. shirt and started acting like a quadripet. Really? I don't remember that. And got, they got in like a lot of trouble because they were in, it was, there was like a sponsor that was in the video. No, it wasn't sponsored, but like, like, let's say, let's say natural Texas water was our sponsor. It was in the shot. Somebody was wearing a natural Texas shirt.
Starting point is 00:56:31 A brisk matte shirt. Yeah, it was something like that. And it was basically like, hey, take that video down right now. And Aaron was so. And that was the last time Aaron up. really that's just never uploaded it again did he take it down yeah yeah it's gone yeah it's going he didn't just like edit
Starting point is 00:56:46 the it was something like that it was it was I'm paraphrasing but it was it was it was something like that it was it was really bad but when I think that was probably the last would you rather I ever did yeah and I've conveniently enough the girl that's been in a few of my
Starting point is 00:57:03 videos lives in my apartment building she's the I'm not gonna out all of her business but she's the she's been the personal assistant for Garrett from Good Good. Yeah. For I don't know how long, maybe like a year or something, but they've known each other for forever. So she's like used to the camera a little bit. She doesn't, she says she doesn't necessarily like being on camera, but she just does, she just accepts it and does really well.
Starting point is 00:57:31 Yeah. So it's like, it's just easy to record with her. And then of course, everyone's like, it's your girlfriend and oh my God, look how they just look at. look at the way he looks at her or look at the way she looks at him like niac don't fuck this up and it's just uh you're just not you're not even correcting them i'm just gonna let them let's just let's just leave yep let's just leave some like mystery behind it yep is a girlfriend is it not friend zone find out on next episode we'll see we'll find out soon we'll definitely see what is woman brings dead husband back as hologram to his own funeral.
Starting point is 00:58:12 That's sick. Wow. Wow. I mean, I guess that's just no casket, just hologram? Rather than simply showing old footage, the hologram was made to deliver answers to pre-prepared questions, giving the impression of a live interaction during the ceremony. That'd be weird. I don't want that.
Starting point is 00:58:38 Yeah. No. That would be traumatizing. Yeah, I don't want that. Imagine being there. like children. I don't know if they have kids. Pam told the BBC she had promised her husband a super wake.
Starting point is 00:58:53 But like is this what the husband wanted? Though the final version became far more ambitious than the $2,000 she originally prepared to spend. Wow. Yeah, no, it's not what he wanted. It's not what he wanted. It doesn't say that. I knew him for 60 years, so I wrote it the way
Starting point is 00:59:10 I believed he would speak. So she wrote it. Yeah, that's going to be a no for me. That freaked me the fuck out. Yeah, that would be terrifying. What was your, here, you just indulged into a new, not new lane, but your return to streaming. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It returns to streaming.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Yeah, I stream for the first time last night, like an actual stream, not like me throwing at something up at 2 a.m. because I was bored. When was your last actual stream before you did this one? Like, just hitting go live? not just hitting go live like like trying something yeah bro i mean the race yeah probably the race yeah i mean it's still that was my last stream that was your like actual last stream i've done like i think i'll be back though i've done like random streams but they've always been like me playing model over two at like two a m because i think i'll be
Starting point is 01:00:04 back but yeah i'm trying to i'm trying to i'm trying to get all achievements in minecraft um in hardcore and every time I die there's like a punishment I roll like a 20-sided die and whatever it lands on the punishment goes to that so for the next probably 200 hours I'm gonna be wearing a wig because I died last night oh shit really
Starting point is 01:00:24 and I rolled the dice and it was wear a wig for the entire challenge so wearing a wig for the next 200 hours this might take a long time it's gonna take a long time well once you get if you I feel like what you make it past like the dying stage Once you get armor
Starting point is 01:00:42 Yeah Once you get like a full set of armor I conquer the nether a little bit I think then you'll be good That it's like hard to die I beat the game I beat the game last night I beat the game
Starting point is 01:00:53 And then you die And I got Elytra And I died Getting another Elytra Like I was trying to get multiple Uh huh So I flew I flew to like
Starting point is 01:01:02 Where all the Shulker box Shulker shells are They go blah la la Is it on rebroadcast? Yeah I mean it's It's We be able to find Hitches rebroad.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Yeah, I mean, it's definitely, I stream on like, I also, like, keep the vods on, like, my optic hitch channel. Do you want to die and milk this? Are you, like, really trying to get it done? I wasn't trying. I knew that it would be better to die, to die at least once, if not twice. But it's also going to be very difficult to do. What, luckily, I was only five hours in.
Starting point is 01:01:38 And they're like, I beat the game. Was like five and a... Do you beat the game in five hours? Yeah. There were like four... I meant have been like four and a half hours. And then I got the Elytra. This is...
Starting point is 01:01:51 So I had already died at this point. I think. Yeah, I'd already die. So... I feel like you... Yeah, it's right. You almost look like scum. There, right there.
Starting point is 01:02:02 Yeah, so I'm like... I hate this type of... This fucking area. Oh, so it was like... Not even four hours. I was three hours. three hours in like 45 minutes is probably when I beat the game.
Starting point is 01:02:13 You dive right around here? Yeah, I accidentally throw an ender pearl. Oh, shit. I was trying to, I don't know what I was trying to do. I like, you. Like, gamey PTSD. Yeah, I accidentally threw an interpurl. I don't know where the, the, but I try to throw an enderperp,
Starting point is 01:02:33 I don't know what I was trying to do. I can't remember what I was trying to do. Oh, I was trying to eat, I think. Yeah, that's what I was trying to do. I accidentally threw an inner pearl instead of eat and just get absolutely annihilated and then I roll the die
Starting point is 01:02:50 and the next one is or the punishment was wear a wig What's the worst? Oh do you have the list? Yeah these are the punishments. Curse texture pack Chats chooses texture pack Win a game of fall guys When a game of Fortnite
Starting point is 01:03:03 When a game of PubG When a game of Warzone Shaders on Play full run with a dog companion Chat pick skin, play with the wig on. Wear a suit, Mickey Mouse ears, getting Minecraft. Tattoo. Which one would you get?
Starting point is 01:03:18 The sword. I think I would do a stack of 10 obsidian. Because that's how much it takes to make another portal. A stack of 10 obsidian? Yeah, it would just be a good city. How would that look at the tattoo? The obsidian block with 10 next to it. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:32 That's just what I have in mind right now. Or like the diamond, like the outline of the diamond thing. Full face paint? made by Alexis I hope it lands on that Kanye glasses for yeah for the whole next run you know the bars
Starting point is 01:03:47 oh yeah so I would definitely have to die in that one like I would just have to play on controller might suck that would very much suck that would very much suck yeah
Starting point is 01:03:58 play on bedrock that would also suck what's media share media share is like where people can donate a dollar to pay to like have a video pop up on your screen. Oh, really?
Starting point is 01:04:12 So that would be live. Can that go bad? Yeah. I mean, they get approved by the mods. Oh, okay. So, but that would, and then no bone era. Yeah, so basically, I'm trying to do this for a video, obviously, like a full YouTube video.
Starting point is 01:04:26 And I wasn't, I wasn't expecting to die so soon. Because I've survived in hardcore for a very long time before, but not, it's been, it's been a bit. It's been a bit. so but then i started it back up and uh played for like 30 minutes got got like 10 achievements there's 125 achievements a little six hour banger that's my wig what is that oh that's hair that's my wig that's my wig i'm i'm gonna do a different way that's a crazy little stream room yeah there's like so much going on it's a vibe your one i like my stream i have no aesthetics
Starting point is 01:05:06 apartment my little stream room i got a i'm moving in a month and then i'm gonna clutch up oh my god oh so mad mad i was so mad dude wait you're you're moving again yeah where are you moving through what's the address i'm gonna probably stay in dallas like i feel like i've lived in frisco i've lived in plano i've lived in addison i've lived in dallas you were going to come here i've lived in garland you were going to come back to Frisco and then you met then you met a new thing now you're now you're staying in Dallas I don't think that's uh
Starting point is 01:05:46 I don't think that's a reason maybe subconsciously I think subconsciously it is because I did tell her she'd be like I'd be sad you're like all right I won't go no I kind of planned on I'm just I'm not staying in my apartment
Starting point is 01:06:03 because my rent that I'll I'll probably say how much I was once I move into my new place I'll probably be like guys I because I'm going to downgrade right now I have like a two bed the amount I'm paying for it's it's big nice balcony nice view it's in a nice ass apartment building I really like it and I feel like I wanted the the you got it out of your system I wanted the Dallas high-rise luxury experience and technically if I stay in the same building I'll still have that But there's like there's one beds I could get. But even the one beds are expensive.
Starting point is 01:06:39 Yeah. But then there's like a loft side that's a little cheaper. I could do that. But then it's only like 715 square feet. I'm like I could make that work if I had like a storage unit or something. So I don't know. But then I've thought about moving to Frisco and then I'd just be close to here. And this would make this easier.
Starting point is 01:07:00 But I feel like like living in Dallas for me, when I live here, year in frisco there's there's not as much to do if people say they wanted to go out it's like what are we going to take a 30 minute Uber to Dallas drink then at 2 a.m. take another 30 minute Uber back like just for nights to go out which I don't really plan on going out like that but I just think living in Dallas for me is good because I'm I'm more of an introvert and just I've said this multiple times just getting in the elevator and seeing the same people I've made a lot of friends there, going to the dog park, which Shui loves the dog park.
Starting point is 01:07:38 I'd hate to, like, bring him to a different apartment where they just have, like, some shit piece of grass. So it's like, I like everything besides the drive to get here. So, I don't know. I think I'm going to stay in Dallas. I think if I moved to Frisco, I would just, I would become way more of a hermit.
Starting point is 01:07:57 And I don't know if that'd be good for my mental. Or maybe it would be good. And I would just lock in and, like, not think of females. but then I think the vlogs would just not be as interesting. Yeah, I think I not have to stay in Dallas, but it's just... Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:15 It'll just be, I think, better for my mental. It's just so much more expensive. You see all this new shit that's happening with clippers? Yeah, I've seen... People always tell me to get clippers and, like, yo, I'll clip for you. You don't even have to pay me. Just like, see what...
Starting point is 01:08:33 see what I can do. Right. But I'm always like never, people will send me examples. Like, I'll get emails. Like, Maniac, I'm interested in clipping for you. Here's some of the stuff I've done for you already. Like, I just wanted to like prove, like, I can do it. And I'll look at it and I'll just be like, like,
Starting point is 01:08:53 like, all you did was like literally clip something. Like, it's not like there's no, not that you need like. I think there's a difference. And there's, there's some people clip and some people, are like shorts editors. Like there's a difference between the two. I want like a shorts editor who will like make it entertaining and quick. I don't need someone to just cut to crop out a 40 second long segment for my vlog and then just throw it on.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Throw it on Instagram with the bar like this. It's not even like zoomed in. It's, yeah. Like the I'm struggling right now because I know if I'm going to stream. again, especially if I'm gonna, even though I'm not streaming for like, to get big on stream, I'm trying to record a video, but it would be so dumb of me not to have clips, not to have shorts. Like, that's like the way to promote, that's like the only way to promote your stream now.
Starting point is 01:09:51 Yeah. And it would be so dumb not to. But also, do you think sometimes, like, sometimes even in my vlogs, I'm like, the people that know me, fuck with me, there might be some new viewers that are like, oh, these are pretty good vlogs. But as far as, like, stuff worthy of clipping. I'm like, is there that much stuff? Like all the people that have, that have clippers are like,
Starting point is 01:10:11 they're doing something, I guess, like, worth clipping. It's more entertaining. It's like Lacey and from phase and they're all like collabing. And it's like something hilarious happens. And there's so many of them that can happen just from one stream. And obviously they can just start spamming shit out as well because they just do so much stuff together. and they, you know, they're, where do they live?
Starting point is 01:10:36 L.A.? L.A. Yeah. And they're just in L.A. and they can go to whatever. So I feel like their lives, and they're streaming every day, and their lives are way more entertaining than what mine is.
Starting point is 01:10:49 So it's like, I don't know how much, how much can you get from one maniacs? Those are the only clips that are, like, the IRL clips you probably see the most, but, like, peanut has clippers. That's fucking peanut. Keso has clippers. That's Koso.
Starting point is 01:11:03 Like these are gamers, though. But these are super entertaining. I'm just, like, comparing them to my sort of just like chill. Oh, you're talking about your vlogs. Chill semi-fuzzy vlogs. Yeah. I just don't know how much. Hex has, I don't know if Hex has a clipper, but he has somebody doing his socials.
Starting point is 01:11:20 And his socials are doing pretty good. Yeah. I mean, I could maybe get something like that. And then just to, like, tell them to rip all optic content as well. Anything that you're in. Because I'll see Hex's guy, like anything that. hexes in like whether it's optic whether it's from my vlog whether it's from anything his clipper will like take it from that yeah like i think i i am if anybody's interested i'm looking for somebody
Starting point is 01:11:46 that can uh sit in my Minecraft stream and clip out of context moments and then hopefully that's where that's what i'm banking on yeah like the other day yesterday i was i was thinking about it like trying to actively think about it as i was streaming which is hard to play talk to chat and be entertaining and think about what's a good clip at the same time it's like yeah like but there were a few moments where I had like some stuff I say something like off the wall like outer context shit and I think that that would be the only thing like it's not my gameplay it's not my I'm not overly hyper I'm not like what peanut's doing I'm not doing what Kaysa's doing it but yeah I need to
Starting point is 01:12:23 stop like overthinking it and just let's just start fucking spam yeah blasting shit out I need maybe maybe it would be good if anyone's interesting I'm interested. Basically, look what Hacks is doing, but do that for me. And we could work something out. Yeah, Neon reveals that he paid an army of Clippers $1.4 million over five weeks to make him go viral. What? I was talking to swag in it around the bar, and he was saying that like, almost everyone's paying, like, people are paying $100K a year, up to $500,000.
Starting point is 01:12:59 See, I don't even know how much to pay. Yeah, me neither. Like, is it like 500 bucks a month? That's what I was thinking. Like 500 bucks a month for like one person to run it all. But these guys aren't paying one person to post on their socials. They're paying people to put it on the internet themselves. Like, you know, Yoxick, I think the Twitter account Yoxick, people will pay, this is what Swagg was telling me, people will DM him and be like, hey, if I pay you X amount, will you post this?
Starting point is 01:13:31 and he'll be like yeah or no so like and i don't know if it was it was him i guess you know i guess those twitters those click baity ass we we talked about this how it'll say clavicular yeah he's a big threatens his ex-girlfriend with a knife because she didn't like how his right eyebrow makeup was right and you're just like what the fuck then you click on the video and it's just like talking at dinner. Yeah. And like nothing. Like there's so many, so much shit like that. Can you look up Neon's ex-girlfriend cheats on him. Something, something, something. Can you look up Eddie Burbank no phone maybe? It's like a video of him for like a month where he does it. Yeah. Just watch the intro of this. A few weeks ago, I was scrolling through Twitter, an app that I hate, wasting my time. When I came
Starting point is 01:14:29 across this post. Phase Sway's GF, Alina Rose, gifted one of the guys her used panties during the Bop House 5V1 stream with Vex bolts. Now, I only recognize, I think, one word from that sentence.
Starting point is 01:14:47 And it's the word panties. Hey, y'all, it's Kelly Clarkson with Wayfair. Ever order furniture online and wonder, what if? Like, what if it doesn't hold up? That sofa was four days old. You should have ordered from Wayfair. With Wayfair, there's no what if.
Starting point is 01:14:58 Just style you love, quality you can trust. Visit wayfair.ca. Wayfair, every style, every home. Yeah, then he goes on, but it's kind of like that shit, like what? What was the context of the video, does he say? No, he never talks about it or he never talks about it again. But dude,
Starting point is 01:15:16 every time I open Twitter, it's shit like that. Dude, it's stuff like that all the time. It's insane. Because I open Twitter and it's never on my like my 4U or my following. It's It's always on just like a for you page. Yeah, it goes, even if you put it back to following.
Starting point is 01:15:33 And I can't look away. Because something will piss me off and I'll just like scroll again and it's just, it's there again. It's there again. So bad. Twitter is really bad. It's so insane. I mean, that's a bunch of like, it's like vague posting where like people will be like, I can't believe he's dead. And then I'm like, who's dead?
Starting point is 01:15:52 So I click on it and I look around and somebody's like, at Grock, who is she talking about? And then Grock's like, I assume he's talking about. And I'm like, dude, what am I doing? with my life. Yeah. The fuck am I doing. And then below that, it's like an only fan's girl showing her tits. Yeah, that part sucks. And then I'll click that to Ben, to block her.
Starting point is 01:16:12 To block her. To block her. Yeah. So, like, that's just the shit we'd be dealing with every morning. Grab my phone and it just starts to start off in a bad way. Yeah. I did want to say real quick, I was a part of the Idiot's Season 4. I was a big star.
Starting point is 01:16:28 Let's go, baby. Season four, Mexico City. I don't know where I should. That should is so far. But Hex gave me a little gift, some photographs from whenever we were in Mexico City first. And then he also- And a little movie poster, man. Did you tag anything while you were there?
Starting point is 01:16:48 No. Yeah, I did a maniac. Did you? Fuck, yeah. Oh, yeah. Shout out to Hex. Shout out to idiots, man. It was a fun-ass time.
Starting point is 01:16:57 I want to go back with them again. I'd love to do Yeah I'd love to do one too They are They're Dude Mike is so I mean I got Juan as well
Starting point is 01:17:06 The Asian guy Like they're just so fun To be around Yeah With that's that stupid little trio Yeah Like it's funny It's funny
Starting point is 01:17:14 Like of course Their hex is like best friends Right Right right Like it's just a goofy ass group And Mike Michael actually like Digg into hex
Starting point is 01:17:22 And just like Bro shut the fuck And then it's just It's funny I remember one time I was trying to I was trying to stream when the
Starting point is 01:17:29 hex quarters just started and he got Mike here before Mike worked for Optic he got omens here to put spray paint on the wall like when he did like the whole hex quarters thing and at one point
Starting point is 01:17:43 I had to like stop streaming because they were laughing so loud they were like little school girls like dude they love they love I was like they fucking love each other
Starting point is 01:17:53 it's so funny yeah like I felt like half my clips were just I'm just it's not even even like, I'm just recording that. Yeah, you're just, I'm not even, I'm not even involved in the conversation. But yeah, I think, uh, Idiot's Season 4, I guess finale comes out today. It is Cinco de Mayo.
Starting point is 01:18:11 Any Cinco de Mayo plans? Yeah. Pod with Merck. Yeah, Pod with Merck. Pod with Merck. We're going to celebrate. What if we got Merck and Margarita? Margarita ice cream.
Starting point is 01:18:25 Margarita, get a margarita and get ice cream. I'm down. I'm done. All right, guys, I appreciate y'all watching. If you are a clipper out there that wants to work for free or work or if you're a clipper social media person that wants to help either Nick out with his vlogs to promote or for me with my new streams. Or still have me and every anything else.
Starting point is 01:18:45 Let us know, man. Let us know. Let us know, man. We got a, this is 2026, man. We're trying to build. Trying to rise to it's top. Because if it's not this year, like Nick was saying in January, if it's not this year, it will never happen.
Starting point is 01:18:57 And we're going to die. Yep. So, yeah, thank you guys for watching. Matt Craig. Play the outro music, man.
