I'm tired of this fake-ass shit. Well, you stay there, you grind it out, you stay up all night, you sleep on stream. For the mental health. But you didn't do that for the mental health. You did that for your own personal subs and donations. During Halo 3? No, you just sleep on stream for Halo 3?

For... Never mind. Just get past that. Okay, yeah, let's just get, yeah, keep going. On the icon side, it's been a lot of fun. We, we, we, Alice and I have been trying to lock in events for a while. We, we, we actually self, self-funded your first Eldon Ringstream to get the proof of concept down. And, uh, that ended up working.

We have a few things helping out though. Oh, yeah. Pine Park. We had Pine Park. And then, and then we got a, we got a, uh, we bought an icons PC. Uh, and so. We got sick PCs. Sick PCs.

So we got like half off of a PC. Oh. But that was it. And then so we've we locked in like five, we locked in like five. We locked in nine events in two months. And, and then we added the Halo 3 thing. So 10 events actually. But it's been a lot of fun.

A lot of what we're doing right now is, is a charity event going towards our charity campaign, going towards November men's mental health, which has been, which has been a lot of fun. I've been doing events with them for seven years, I think. And it's always a great time. And people come through and we get to have fun and we get to do it for a good cause. And so that's what we've been doing. It's been great.

And how does that, how's your mental health during this? It's not great. It's not great. Setting up everything for men's mental health month. Yeah. Is not going great for your mental health. Yeah, but it's for, but,

but once it's. it's all done. It gives you a little purpose though, huh? Like when I did my, when I did my walk downtown and like it was so stupid and it was so like so much effort and like my my my toenails were black and I couldn't walk the next two days. But like when it was done, I was like, wow, that was great. Yeah. And like I hated every moment of it, but it was great.

Well, get back to you. But the exact same thing. for the Eldon Ring DLC Marathon. That whole time, not the whole time, but like I'm sitting there just like, you know, parts are fun.

You know, there's some downtime. There's ups. There's downs. There's downs. Then there's a peak. There's a peak. And then there's more downs.

You go down again. And then you get to Redon and you're sitting there. Took 12 hours to beat him. Just fucking down, down, down. But then you beat him. And it's like,

like I have nothing planned to say whenever my like when I finally beat him and like I'm ending the stream and stuff but it's like then I finally beat him and then it's just like man this was such an amazing experience this Eldon ring

marathon was such an amazing but like while I'm doing it it's like dude lock in like stress and I know because that shit's about to happen again I know a nine to five can't fucking I know it doesn't compare

to fucking a normal job and I'm lucky genuinely I am lucky to be able to do this type of stuff but just let me fucking say it is fucking stressful doing it

at least in the way I played it as well no summons no fucking cheese shit but a lot a lot of stress just like little such bad sleep I don't know why I get such bad sleep when I'm not

like, I mean, I even get bad sleep at home too. I think sleep will be my, sleep is going to be my worst health declining attribute in my life, I think. I think even more so than like the drugs and alcohol. I think it's just going to be how shitty I sleep. But anyway, what's my fucking point here? The point is just during like these marathon streams.

I'm just during it. I'm like, God, I slept like fucking. shit again my bones hurt my hands hurt i'm eating like shit i just feel like shit but i'm like just got to grind it then you finally beat it and then it's just like this was such so amazing and such a fun such a fun time like thank you guys for being a part of this experience and it is funny how that works though and it is similar to like you walking 30 fucking miles yeah i say i mean i i got that same feeling because there were moments of the race last year where i was like this is the worst it's like same The fucking worst.

Same. Like I haven't slept. Even going into this, I'm like, I don't want to. Dude, I am, I'm struggling. My nose is the worst. It's been in a long time. I feel like I've been getting sick. I don't feel that great.

I just got my CPAP three days ago. Haven't even took it out of the box yet. Why? You got to try it out. I have, I've been at that Airbnb until 3 a.m. every morning. Like, like, you know what? You're not getting up. I'm not getting home and putting in the water and the shit and doing it for the first because

you sleep like shit the first couple days you use it because it's like I put it I put it back on and as I was I was in the sleep I was in the sleep place getting it and she was like let's test some masks and see which one do you like she put the mask on and it was only I've only slept on it one time and she was like how does this feel she was like let's try it with the pressure and I I was like and I was like and I took it off And I was like, that fits well. I got to get used to the mask again or the pressure. She was like, yeah, it does take a while.

And I was like, can I ask you something? Does at this point in the process, like, I've already paid for the sleep study. I've already paid for the CPAP for a month or two. Like I was like, do people freak out at this part and just leave? And she was like, sometimes, yeah. And I was like, because literally I'm looking at it. And I'm like, dude, I have to wear that for the rest of my life, like sleeping. I don't know.

That's a big, that's a big decision to make. Yeah. No, it is. And she was like, yeah, sometimes, sometimes people just leave right now. And I was like, okay. I mean, just having something on your face while trying to sleep is fucking. It's like my fighter flight is activated heavy. Because I actually did one of those sleep studies and like slept with it at my, I don't think I slept with a CPAP.

But I slept with something on my face that like helped. I think I slept with like something on my finger. Yeah, I did that too. And I slept with something on my face to see how I sleep. and it like just measure how many times I wake up and blah blah blah and loki I think I slept decent during those times and because we were testing me for sleep apnea because I was just I felt I felt so fucking bad every single day but like I guess test results they came back they said like yours really isn't that bad and we don't think you need this and I was like all right well I don't know

what the fuck's wrong man because like I feel like I never feel like I sleep good I feel like I slept good last night, but maybe I was just high because I even feel kind of tired today and like foggy. But I slept pretty good last night. But I just feel like sleep has been so shit for me. And especially like, and that's kind of what when stuff like this race the prestige comes up, especially after just doing the marathon, the out and ring marathon, getting shit sleep there.

And then basically having like two, three days at home. and then boom, jumping right into this. I'm just, I remember the feeling from last year of being two, three days in, being like, I think I've slept six hours. I think I hate this. Yeah. I think I hate it. And we like, it's such a camaraderie.

I've never had brothers. I've never had sisters. So I don't know that feeling of waking up every day and seeing someone. Like waking up every day seeing someone your own age that you're not having sex with. and you're just like, like, what is this? They spend a few times.

Like what, like, like, like I love this person and I also, this is the person I love the most right now and also the person I hate the most. Yeah,

when it's 4 a.m. and Pomage is cracking a beer beside you. Right. I'm like, I want to, I want to take this statue, this Canadian statue to the ground right now.

I want him gone. But then also, when you hit that, that wave of like, everything's flowing. Like my favorite time of the race last year was there were two times.

Both of them were on the couch. One of them I was playing and Blake and George were behind me and Pomage was next to me and it was like we were in like the most giggly,

laughy mood. Fucking love that. That like that feeling and then the other one was when what was it? Me, you and Boes were on the couch. We were talking about eating ass.

Bro, that, Bro, those two moments were like my favorite moments. Also, the first night, it was me alone on the couch. Everyone was asleep, except for Toosh was over here doing a, doing a solo to Master's Apex stream. Yeah, that kind of pissed me off. Why? I don't know. Why did that piss you?

Like, I'm game. And so, but he also has those moments where he's like, I'm doing that shit. And last year was one of those moments. He was like, bro, I'm not sleeping on a fucking bomb bed. But then you see the success everyone else had. You just, it's a grind. I don't know if it's the success that. I don't know if that's why Bose is doing it.

I think Bose, like, because he came here. I think he's just been more involved lately. I think he came here like three or four times last year and like was having a fun time. I think, I think even last year is like, man, I probably should have been a part of it. Yeah, I think so too. I think so. Because it is like, I mean, but you, you think that, I mean, we'll see.

Brad is like the only other person that I've been able to see it. Like that that agrees with me that when it comes to Halo 3 and Halo 2, that's the only time that I see light in your eyes.

And then you came in my chat and we're like, damn, and Abel still got it, huh? And I was like, I don't know if you're trolling. Atlas missed read it. 50-30 Slayer and then like 250 to like 30 in like the king of the hang King of the Hill or something. Holy shit. You know what? And I went in thinking like I was like, this could be decent.

And Abel's going to be fucking good because he's just like naturally skilled. Elamite has played a bunch of Halo 3. Neighbors, Loki like Grimes Halo 3. Cleats probably just going to be cleat. But I was like, this could be difficult. Yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't.

And I don't know if it was my team. What did, before we start talking about maybe some matches or whatever. Yeah. How did you come up with Tylenol Ace and Lethal? And did you think that would be like two O.P of a team? Okay. First of all, it's a charity tournament. Because people were like, how the fuck did these teams even come together?

I would, okay, here's how it went down. I said, hey, Brad, I'd like to host a tournament in Halo 3. Would you be down to host it? Thinking that he was going to watch party it. He said, yeah, for sure, who am I playing with? And I said, okay. That's not how that works. So you want to play.

I understood. So then I just started throwing out invites because I needed enough people. They were hoping for four teams. Like, HCS came to me and said, hey, we'll give a prize pool as long as there's four teams. We don't want it to be a show match. And I was like, I think if I try hard enough, I can get eight. and they were like if you get eight that'd be awesome so what i did is i just threw out every invite to people say hey would you be down to play and then people came back to me and said yes no yes no so

then i just wrote down all the teams and i was like people want to see certain people play together if i gave roy us you know uh roy neighbor snake or snike down and you a captain spot and we did a draft that would be fun, but it would be the weirdest teams. Like you wouldn't have any teams. Roy, Tylenol, mental, and fucking collect. Right, exactly. First me, ace, fucking goofy.

Right. You know. So I wanted teams that had at least some sort of chemistry where people would be like excited that they were playing together. Yeah. So that's when you get shotsy and hook is a duo. That's when you get you and lethal as a duo. That's when you get like Roy Box, obviously.

So that's kind of, I just started like. That team goofy, native Ryanube straight sick. Like that's, they are the, I was calling them the outsiders. Right. Like every, not everyone in the Halo community is like close, but there is like a kind of like a click. And then there were always those few kind of players that like were sort of just sort of outsiders. Like native was. and it's not on some like people didn't like them or something they just kind of like did their own they had their own little

thing and it's like that that is that team right like that we saw that team was like these motherfuckers might win like they might be the best team in here right and and i knew that and native has been on his grind he's been doing like like subathons and halo like you click on native stream he's playing halo four with his community or he's playing halo five eights or like he's always playing halo one campaign right exactly like He's always doing some haler shit. And so that's how I made the teams. Obviously, if this was a competitive tournament with a competitive throwback, then I would have done a draft.

But it's a charity event. And people wanted the like nostalgic click or they wanted to like see how people, they wanted to see people in the calls that were like having fun. So I put SSG together, put you and you ace and lethal together. Shopify together. Yeah. Right. Exactly. Yeah.

I thought I thought it was good. I don't know what like other. If if if if I were to do right now what I would love to do with HCS if they would be interested all the and this is optic aside there's some optic stuff in HALA that's still going to be happening. I'm almost positive. God, I got to piss. And so that'll be fun outside of that if I were to do something with HCS again if Tashi's like interested like I would like to do a beer league weekly thing like once a night on Wednesdays. we get people to play and at that point like it would be i feel like i don't know if that would do good as far as like viewers and community though you don't think so because that was they tried they almost like tried that with like i feel like it has to be an all-day turning

There's a, I mean, and I don't think it's, it's, it's, it hasn't happened for like other hate, like, there's no, maybe there's like a Halo Infinite

click, but I feel like there was a special time towards the end of Halo 2 to all of Halo 3 and early Halo reach that like like we all know each other. We all went to like lands and events and we're hanging out after the events and during the events.

There's like a special like bond between that community which like most of the players that were involved in this tournament were in. So it's like you know they just they thought it was cool and wanted to just hang out and I also think coming from the Call of Duty community,

and I know the launch wasn't great, and I know that it's had a sticky history if you're in the Halo scene, but the fact that MCC exists is fucking crazy. or maybe it was like a guardian ball against Shopify where, we won by like 20 seconds and I was just like damn that was close I was like but I was kind of doing my thing in the beginning then I kind of fell off game ends maybe like plus one plus two or something
