I would actually enjoy being on that team but then I go to Brad's stream and I'm just like damn like I want to know what his KD was because Brad Obviously, an amazing Halo player. I don't need to fucking hype up his Halo play. Just shit on his cod play.

But, like, he ain't got many reps on cod. And I didn't watch much of his attorney. Because when I did watch, I was like, I can't watch this. Yeah. But it's like, I feel like if you're, your mind and your brain and your passion has to be, if doing a new fucking going from Halo to Cod, like, you have to want it. You want to be, like, you got to be on first.

You got to be on playing late. You got to be doing random twos, wagers, or random money eights, any tournament, 2V2, CMG, one and done. Like, you have to be playing those to get those reps. And especially before scrims start, and I don't think I could be wrong, but I don't think he was doing any of that. He probably played some, like, pubs to learn the maps. But then he jumped right into scrimming and was just getting pounded. And no disrespect to him. I mean, I'm sure he would even.

he would admit it himself but it did it did look like he was never his heart was never in it because he is all in when he was playing i think it was just uh maybe he thought the transition would be easier or maybe he thought like well if i'm going to stay in optic this is about the only option yeah um so i'm gonna try it out hopefully i'm just a fucking natural good ass player and you know shit goes easy for me But Cod is fucking hard at this day and age. I whenever I whenever I stream like probably from now on I don't even know if I want to put like I don't want to put the sub count up there i don't want to put a sub uh uh a sub train up there like i want to just like make something and stream it i think i think like when the viewers were crazy and everything was popping and then like the sub train was like part of the show

and that was hyped and that was fine that was fine that was fire people were like yeah let's keep the sub train going nowadays it feels like i'm shaking a cup it feels like i'm on the side of the street like guys you have do you have five more thanks for the five do you have five more and I hate that feeling like I

it freaks me out well sometimes yeah man streaming's uh not that streaming's hard but it can be hard like mentally to work like if you if you have a regular job

which is obviously worth than streaming then we have it good but for sometimes when you stream you can stream eight hours you get eight re-subs in like four new subs

like 12 subs total each costs like six bucks that's 72 dollars so say you made 72 dollars off of and your views are low say you have like 160 viewers

that's not really bringing in any ad money really but you streamed for like eight hours, $72, at least 30% is going back to Twitch. So it's like you just made like 50 bucks. Maybe throwing some ad money,

maybe like 60, 65 bucks for like eight hours. Like people don't understand like. But then obviously there's really good days to where it's like, you know, at catapults and can make a survivable living wage. But it does fuck with you when you are putting in some of those hours. and it's just like, well, I'm like, I mean, this is my job.

I kind of, if I'm putting this many hours into it, I would like to get something more out of it. And I remember I felt that way about Halo to where, like, I was getting 450 views. Then it kind of, this was like last, the beginning of last year, like at the beginning of the season. I was getting like 450 views, decent ad money, some subs, blah, blah, blah, blah. Then it kind of went down to like 400, then 350, then 300, then 250.

Then like, by the end, I was like signing on and maybe getting like 160 viewers. And like, I'd see like, I'd play for like six, seven hours. And then maybe get like, there's one time, it was like maybe like eight resubs. I think you texted me that day. You sent me a, you said me a photo? I think I said like, is eight resubs on a seven hour stream good? But like the day start turning. into those

where it's like it's not just one slow day it's like every day it's starting to turn into it and it just yeah and you have to change it's like I don't even really want to play this fucking game but like and like I love the community it's it's great

I don't even play shit I start up my stream and all I do is talk to like yeah my usual the usual suspects in the BTA stream but at the end of the day it is like how you make a living and so it can eat you up sometimes and almost

I think about it on like some psychological shit if if I'm consistently starting my stream but like my numbers are dropping my streams aren't even that funny I'm kind of just grinding it out I don't think that's gonna help my stream like you

if anything people will start realizing like oh I've already seen this he did this last yesterday and the day before that so people will just stop clicking and it's like clicking on your stream becomes not something of interest. Right.

To where what I'm doing now not saying I could be doing what I'm doing now I could be doing a lot better. Like I should have got home, downloaded cod, played some pubs, been involved in some tourneys,

lost some money, costing some teams, got some clips. Like I should have been involved with all that shit. But sometimes it's just like fuck. I don't know.

It's just I had a fucking and point. It's a great point to end it on and I just fucked it all up. But this where was that?

Like I like people clicking, even though what I was trying to, even though what I've been doing is not probably the best thing. But I do think one thing that's kind of helped my stream stay sort of afloat, especially during the race to prestige, like people were, like, My stream, like, really showed up.

And I think it's because I've done decent at managing, okay, he might disappear for, like, two weeks. But then, like, boom, he's back with, like, this marathon. And it's a banger. And, oh, we see him the entire time. He's live 24-7. Oh, we love an Eact. Or, like, the Halo 3 tournament or just other watch parties and stuff. Like, you might not see me streaming throughout the week.

But, boom, Friday, watch party, 10 hours, Saturday, 10 hours, Sunday, 10 hours. hours fun me and abg yapping the whole time it's like it's a good show big tournament like everyone's sort of involved so every time they every time i would stream it would be like something worth watching right and i feel like i don't want to fall into the well let me just grind it out every day because i don't i literally don't think that would be good for my brand to for people to see the numbers go down the chats go down i'm i'm getting boring because i don't really want to be playing pot i'm just forcing myself just to say that I'm grinding. Right.

But that's not necessarily the smartest thing that you could do for your stream. No, it's definitely not. It's definitely not. And I think I've been watching a lot of queso and a lot of peanut lately. And like that, it just seems that vibe, like, if you think of the biggest YouTubers or the biggest streamers, like that vibe of like, oh, thanks for the five gifted, can keep the subtrain alive, like all that shit, that doesn't exist anymore. Like, I think that's just, can't keep up with theirs.

They just get on, they make the content that they want to make, and then they get off. And then if you want to watch it, you have to make the content.
