The Glenn Beck Program - A ‘Digital Ghetto’ IS Forming | Guests: Dan Bongino & Andy Ngo | 1/13/21

Episode Date: January 13, 2021

The Twitter mob slammed Glenn for using the term “digital ghetto” on Tucker Carlson’s show. But the term’s originator — Jewish Holocaust historian Edwin Black — joins to explain why Glenn ...used the phrase accurately. Dan Bongino gives an update on his fight to get Parler back on the internet and argues conservatives may need their own parallel economy. Antifa got a Portland bookstore to say it would not shelve or promote journalist Andy Ngo’s new book, “Unmasked." Andy joins to discuss the hypocrisy. Glenn explains how to peacefully protest like Martin Luther King did and asks listeners to pray for and serve their communities in this tough time. A second impeachment of President Trump is imminent, but what is this really about? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:02:44 uh twitter says have you read the article yet would you like to read the uh well yesterday a lot of blue checkmark people retweeted something that was an Just a stupid, stupid moronic charge that I'm an anti-Semite and, uh, geez, I'm using Nazi analogies. By the way, that's off the table again. Just for anybody who has been screaming Nazi, Nazi, Nazi, Nazi, Trump is Hitler. Nazi, Nazi, Nazi. You can't say those things anymore. It's very offensive.
Starting point is 00:03:21 Well, Jake Tapper and others, I'd like to explain his history. And I warn you, you should probably listen to this segment alone because you might get a little flushed from your embarrassment. I do that in 60 seconds. You know, they really only... Oh, thank you, Kylo Ren. You only really get in trouble when you're accurate. You know, you're only, they only come after you. I was on Tucker last night.
Starting point is 00:03:57 and I think I hit them right in their soft underbelly because the reaction was relentless and it didn't bother me at all. Bring it on. I mean, I know what's coming. We know what's really ironic is I told all of you in not you, but the press, I laid this all out in 2008. I laid all of this out for over a decade now. and you're just doing exactly what I said you would do. It's not going to work out well for you. I mean, it's not going to work out well for me and others, you know, in the short term.
Starting point is 00:04:38 But I will at least be on the right side of history when the gods of the copybook headings return. I'll at least be, you know, wow, wow, look at that guy. And so will millions of others. You, unfortunately, are going to be on the wrong side. All right. Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour American financing. Hey, there's something really exciting that I'm going to tell you about later on in the program. Let me see if I can find it real quick. It looks like banks, here it is, America's six largest banks could raise interest rates in response to what would be an $11 billion tax increase.
Starting point is 00:05:24 A proposed by president-elect Joe Biden. Biden. Banks were among the biggest beneficiaries of the corporate tax cut in and higher rates will cut into their profit just like it would for other U.S. based companies. But in the end of the day, the most important thing for banks is the health of the economy. So what they're going to do is they're going to raise your taxes and then they're going to raise the taxes on corporations and those corporations are going to raise the prices. to pay for those higher taxes, and so you get hit twice. Congratulations. I'm so excited. We have finally in the Oval Office some people who understand the little people. Now, if you think for some reason that that might be sarcastic, you might want to go to American financing because interest rates will go up, because that's the way the world works.
Starting point is 00:06:25 American financing, please, please get out from under those high interest rates with your credit cards. Please get into a lower interest rate while you can. It is going to be harder and harder for everyone, but I have a feeling for especially conservatives to be able to get rates that are reasonable. please lock these rates in. American financing, the people that you should call at 800906 2440, 800906 2440 or Americanfinancing.net. American financing NMLS-182334, www.
Starting point is 00:07:09 www. nmLS Consumer Access.org. All right. So last night I was on Tucker Carlson, and could we just quickly play part, the only part that anybody talked about, and boy, there is so much meat in here to talk about, we're going to spend the whole day. And I'm not defending my, this is not about me. It's not about defending it.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I hit them where it hurt. And that's why they were, I was trending on Twitter last night. Congratulations. Thank you. It's never good to be trending on Twitter. Better than being removed. Yes. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Yes, it is. But it's trending on Twitter last night because I said, which was a very small point in this whole eight-minute monologue, but I said this in the monologue, listen. Can't have freedom of speech if you can't have, if you can't express yourself in a meaningful place. This is like the Germans with the Jews behind the wall. They would put them in the ghetto. Well, this is the digital ghetto. You can talk all you want. Jews, you do whatever you want behind the wall.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Well, that's not meaningful. And that's where we are. That's where millions of Americans will be. Okay. Now I went on to say, I'm not comparing the two to the Holocaust. Because I've been down this road multiple times. Now, it hasn't been wrong to compare anyone to Nazis, Jews, or Hitler's. Hitler in the last four years.
Starting point is 00:08:53 But apparently it is about to be very, very, very unpopular once again. Now, as soon as I said that, ooh, the internet went crazy. And Jake Tapper said, this is nothing like what the Nazis did to the Jews. And if you think that, you're an absolute moron. Glenn Beck, Tucker Carlson, and his white supremacists like them love saying, the term ghetto, they like the way it rolls off their tongue. If people like Glenn Beck are going to compare what's happening right now to the Holocaust, they should at least have the decency to admit that they're the Nazis.
Starting point is 00:09:36 It's like the far right is trying to hide their white nationalist views by comparing the Holocaust with their plight. Thinking, a thinking face Glenn Beck has been peddling anti-Semitism by attacking George Soros and his control over the media and Democrats for years. Oh, I just love this. As I'm in my prison cell at some point for thought crimes, oh, I'm just going to be laughing myself to sleep every night. Let's just talk about this for a second.
Starting point is 00:10:11 And Jake, I'd like to talk to you. And, you know, I've never thought your voice should be silent. In fact, I was a fan of yours until really recent. recently, you know, last four years. I thought you were an actual objective reporter. I don't know how what happened to you or maybe how stupid I was for believing that. But I never called for your voice to be silenced, nor would I. In fact, the, what do they call them ass hats?
Starting point is 00:10:45 The people that work at CNN that are currently leading the charge to silence the right. I still think that they have the right to say those things and be heard, even on CNN. So I don't know what it is about free speech that you're so afraid of, Jake, but I want to take everyone who thinks that I mean, this is nothing like what the Nazis did to the Jews. And if you think that, you're an absolute moron. Gosh, Jake, I feel bad for you today because you've just called Edwin Black. an absolute moron. Now, maybe you don't know who Edwin Black is.
Starting point is 00:11:27 He's just the award-winning New York Times best-selling international investigative author of 200 award-winning editions in 20 languages and 190 countries, as well as scores of newspapers and magazines articles in leading publications. With more than 1.6 million books in print, his work focuses on human rights, genocide, and hate. corporate criminality and corruption, government misconduct, academic fraud, philthropic abuse, oil addiction, alternative energy, blah, blah, blah. Editors have submitted Black's work 11 times for a Pulitzer Prize nomination. In recent years, he's been recipient of a series of top editorial awards from journalistic organizations. He has contributed to many things, human rights,
Starting point is 00:12:20 investigations, blah, blah, blah, blah. He's even been on CNN Wolf Blitzer show. Isn't that weird for a moron? Well, maybe he's not a moron. Maybe he's just an anti-Semite. You see, the reason why I'm bringing this up is because he's the guy that coined the term that I said was digital ghetto. He calls it algorithmic.
Starting point is 00:12:50 ghettos. He's used that he's used digital ghetto though before and he's used several his similar terms. It's the same it's the same thing and electronic ghetto he's also used. He has said this now for years. He was on my show the first time I heard him talk about it was the week that he was on my show. He said digital ghetto in fact he was on yesterday and here's what he said. I don't even know if there was a term for it at the time and you said yeah it's digital ghettoization. And that always stuck with me because that's exactly what it should be called, and it's exactly what's happening today, and you warned about it. Can you tell me what that means and why you saw that coming? Well, the problem has grown even graver since you and I spoke. I was sitting in,
Starting point is 00:13:44 I was standing in the rotunda of the Michigan State Capitol with the governor on a Holocaust Day ceremony when I coined the phrase the algorithm ghetto. And the algorithm ghetto says that we will now be in a position where we can scream from the rooftops and no one will hear us because our means of connectivity. has been disconnected by the Facebooks, by the Twitters, by the Instagrams, and all of these groups. And now we have seen this has suddenly come into play, not within a matter of weeks and months, but almost overnight the crush of censorship that is coming upon people. Well, that is weird, Jake Tapper, for this guy who's been nominated for a purely.
Starting point is 00:14:44 it's a prize 11 times to be a moron or is it that he's an anti-Semite and it be hard for him to be an anti-Semite i mean he just said he came up with it first time he ever spoke it was at a holocaust memorial um and it would be very hard for him since since his mom uh actually escaped on the train from troughlinca uh and her father or his father escaped from the shooting pit. And they both lived in the forests of Poland until the allies came in. So it's weird that his mom and dad both escape the Holocaust and he's an anti-Semite. It's a strange path to anti-Semitism.
Starting point is 00:15:33 It really is. It is. It's a strange path. And I was reading his speech from 2018 at the official Holocaust commemoration for the state of Michigan. Yeah. Yeah, where he discussed this. You should send it to Jake Tapper. Oh, you know, I posted it on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Oh, you did? Oh, you did? Yeah. You can get it right there. Could you resend it to Jake? Can you make sure you put an at Jake Tapper? If you prefer, maybe you'd like to do. I would love to do that.
Starting point is 00:15:59 I bet you would. I would love to do that. Because, you know, I think, look, we are, of course, very understanding people here on the program. And, you know, maybe not everyone is familiar with this historian's concept. And thought maybe you just came up with it on the fly. Yeah. And if I just came up with it on the fly, well, because I've been right about so many things that none of them can ever admit to. But you're just some talk show host guy.
Starting point is 00:16:22 This is not from me. This is from Edwin Black. Yeah. And he's talked about it. I mean, he's talked about it for years now. Yeah. And it's probably something you should be aware of if you're going to start calling people who use it a moron. Or an anti-Semite.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Or an anti-Semite. But if you don't happen to be aware of it, look, there's a lot of facts going around. People have been really busy the last couple of years. Yeah. Maybe people have just, you know, missed. I agree. So if so, it's interesting, we posted the speech up Twitter at Stu Does America. Feel free to share it with anyone who you think might need that information so they understand the concept before they start talking about it.
Starting point is 00:16:54 That's really good, Stu. Thank you. And I'm going to retweet it to Jake Tapper because he's been really busy. Yeah. I mean, he's been really, really busy. He probably, you're exactly. Very busy time. You're exactly right.
Starting point is 00:17:06 So if you would like to help us spread the word, Edwin Black, by the way, a horrible moron and anti-Semite is going to be with us again today. Oh, no. On today show. Well, this proves you're an anti-Semite if you're putting Edwin Black on. Well, you know, the one thing I haven't asked him, are you a white supremacist? We don't know. We don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Maybe he's a white supremacist because that was the other one. It was either you're a moron, an anti-Semite, or a white supremacist. I don't have any. I have no evidence that he's not a white supremacist. And in today's America, you are guilty until you can face the tribunal and prove that you are not. More, much, much more, including the things that I said last night that they didn't talk about. And I think what I didn't talk about is much more important. What they didn't talk about is much more important than this ridiculous charge because they're
Starting point is 00:18:07 uninformed. You're informed on that. Now, let's go to the Supreme Court in a few minutes, and I'll tell you what I said about that. And then we have Dan Bongino on. And then after that, we have Andy No. Now, Andy has been, well, he's got a new book out. And is it out, though? No, it's out. Is it out? Well, because it seems like, a lot of bookstores are saying, you know what, it's not out. We're not going to have it here. Yeah. Well, it's just Antifa, the people who don't like fascists telling you what to do, what to read.
Starting point is 00:18:49 They've had a, dare I say it, digital book burning. And we're going to talk to him about that coming up in just a second. And by the way, digital book burning completely different than actual book burning. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. More in a second. I'm also going to give you, I'm also going to tell you to trust in the Lord. Because he's got this. He's not surprised by it. All right. Let me tell you about relief factor.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Wayne listens to us in Kansas. He was a rugby player there for 20 years. I didn't even know anybody in America played rugby, let alone Kansas. Anyway, as people in his sport often do, because, those are real football players. I'm just saying they're not wearing pads and they're not, you know, crying about it. Anyway, he's hurt both his back and his kicking foot. Started out only as a little at first,
Starting point is 00:19:54 but gradually got worse and worse and more frequent, to the point that he despaired that he would never feel normal again. I know that feeling well, and I'm not a rugby player. I've just walked or not walked my whole life. Anyway, within days of, taking relief factor. Wayne felt the pain begin to recede. He says it's now gone. Week or so later, the pain in his foot went away after taking it. He was able to get back onto the field just like in the old days so he can create new pain for himself. See, this is what exercise does. Anyway, relief
Starting point is 00:20:30 factor, not a drug developed by doctors and 70% of the people who go on to try it, they go on to buy more. Why? Because it works. Relief factor, 800, 500, 583, 84, 800. 8,000. 500, 584. It's relief factor.com. 10 seconds station ID. So some people, including many conservatives, have argued that private companies are not bound by any legal obligation to extend Bill of Right protections to American citizens. Generally speaking, courts have agreed with that.
Starting point is 00:21:10 You don't have to extend free speech rights to a man standing in the living room of your own private home. However, not in all cases. in Marsh versus Alabama, I spoke about this last night on Tucker, and strangely nobody brought this up. Supreme Court, 1946, the court ruled that even though the town of Chick-saw, Alabama, was 100% built on privately owned by a shipping company, land, and it was the proverbial company town. They ran everything. The court ruled that they still were. were obliged to honor the First Amendment rights of the people who lived, worked, and visited
Starting point is 00:21:54 there. Now, Mrs. March had been arrested and charged with violating a local ordinance against religious proselytizing for handing out pamphlets supporting her beliefs as a Jehovah Witness. She pled that such an ordinance, even though she was legally on privately owned property by a private corporation, it violated her First Amendment rights of free speech. in religion. Now, if it is in your home and she comes in, she has no right. However, however, the court said any municipal ordinance that prohibited distributing religious literature in a public street clearly would violate the First Amendment. A company town does not have the same rights as a private homeowner in preventing unwanted religious expression on his property. While the town is
Starting point is 00:22:48 owned by a private company. It is open for the use by the public and thus the company becomes limited by the constitutional rights of the people there who are entitled to the freedom such as speech and religion. Conflicts between
Starting point is 00:23:04 property rights and constitutional rights must be resolved in favor of the latter. Think of that. Hmm. So, what does that mean. Oh, I'll explain later on in today's program. You don't want to miss it. And Dan
Starting point is 00:23:23 Bongino is coming up. You know Dan Bongino for being an outspoken advocate for the values that many of us hold. He also is an investor in parlor. He's coming up next. Oh, boy. I was made fun of last night on Twitter. A lot of people were like, And now he's just selling Mike Lindell's my pillows. Yep. They're great pillows. Great pillow. I don't know what your problem is.
Starting point is 00:23:57 You may not like them. So, okay. Don't buy them then. Have you tried them? Because I didn't think I would like them. And I tried them. Last night, I swear to you, because I do these commercials, I think about it every night. I mean, if it was just you, you wouldn't think about it every night.
Starting point is 00:24:12 But I do because I do these commercials. And people are like, do you really like them? Last night, again, I was flubing. the pillow and I can get it exactly where I know when I'm going to wake up with a headache because I've slept wrong on my neck and I can get it exactly the way I want because of the way this pillow works and I don't even understand it it's I don't know it's some sort of voodoo magic but it's completely different please try it if you're looking for a great pillow there were $70 a $40 savings now my pillow 2998 king size are just five bucks more

Starting point is 00:25:09 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program many, many years ago a guy was standing in my Fox News studio off to the side he was wearing I think jeans and a t-shirt or something. He may have come in a suit. but he was not dressed in his usual garb.
Starting point is 00:25:26 He was on a day off, and he decided to come up to the studios because he wanted to talk to me. He shook my hand, and he said, I've seen so much vitriol against you. I actually started listening and watching what you were saying. And I can't do this anymore. I can't do my job anymore.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And he was a Secret Service agent. He was actually in the White House while I was there. He was actually with the Obamas and others. I've never asked him for the details of all of the things that he saw, and he's the kind of guy that I don't think would ever reveal those. I find him to be an honorable secret service or former secret service agent. His name is Dan Bongino. He has changed his life and become very outspoken. He is also an investor in a business that was shut down called parlor. And I want to make it also very clear that Dan Bongino said, I think it was on Wednesday of last week, we must never, ever normalize political violence, end quote. He's very clear.
Starting point is 00:26:37 There are many reasons for what happened on Wednesday, but there are no excuses. And in fact, it leads to great danger of the Republic or to the Republic. So let me go to Dan Bongino. Dan, first of all, how you doing, my friend? Physically, how are you doing? Not too good. I mean, really, just not. If you want me to tell you, honestly, of course, I'm going to do that. But that's all right.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Listen, I appreciate your concern. You've always been a good friend to me. You know, I was over with you in Israel. We go way back, and that story's accurate. I remember that moment like it was yesterday. Me too. You have an amazing memory, I might add, considering how many people you meet.
Starting point is 00:27:19 But getting back to what you opened up with, you know, you're right. I am an investor in Parlor. And I just want to emphasize from the audience because you have a substantial one. You have no idea how bad this was behind the scenes. I know you're probably thinking, well, maybe not you because you see this stuff behind the scenes, but some people in your audience, well, how much worse could the attack on Parlor have gotten it? Three, one trillion dollar companies, Amazon, Apple, and Google, all seemingly coordinated
Starting point is 00:27:47 to remove your business from the face of the earth. Well, behind the scenes, it's even worse. I mean, there are smear campaigns, pressure campaigns on everyone, Glenn, lawyers, bankers, everyone to get this company, a potentially what was closing in on a billion-dollar company wiped from the face of the earth. It's incredible. I will tell you, Dan, and you know this. Cheryl Eckinson wrote about it in one of her books, how the left, used me as the guinea pig to perfect their their hit squad.
Starting point is 00:28:25 But I don't think they've perfected it until now. They have it down. When they want to destroy and shut people down, they can do it now quickly because it is a network that they have, as you said, from banking to the Twitter mob to Google. I mean, they can destroy you quickly. Yeah, they can. And I've been warning about this on my show now for five years, where I said, I think it was five years ago the first time I used the term, which I used to this day, a parallel economy. That sadly, we live in a country right now where we, as conservatives, libertarians, and candidly sane Democrats, too, we have to construct a parallel economy.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Everything from servers to Internet infrastructure, to financial institutions. And I'm not talking about a conservative economy. What I'm talking about is a free speech economy. Parlor doesn't discriminate against liberals. Now, Twitter discriminates against concerns. We don't. If you want to join Parlor as a liberal when we're up, hopefully this weekend, we will be back, by the way. Go right ahead. Nobody's going to ban you.
Starting point is 00:29:31 But we need to do that, whether it's an alternative to PayPal. We need to construct an entirely free speech economy where we get board members free pressure campaigns who have some cahones. So, Dan, I agree with you 100%. you know that's why I built the blaze. But you also know because of your dealings with your own company and parlor, to get the right to actually open their pocketbook the way the left does is damn near impossible. And to get the people, I mean, now in this time, to get people to stand up with courage and say, yeah, damn right, I'm building that, is also.
Starting point is 00:30:16 damn near impossible, but here's the worst part. The money, the billions and billions, possibly trillions of dollars to build this infrastructure is, I mean, it's almost unreasonable to expect anyone can do that. Oh, it is, Glenn, but listen, I'm not here to blow wind up your wazoo here, that any of this is going to be easy. It's not. But, you know, I think back to, you know, when I was an agent at the Secret service agent. I was an instructor at the academy. Someone knew, you know, Roger Ailes who had,
Starting point is 00:30:49 you know, since departed, but Ailes gave a speech about the starting of Fox News. And someone asked a question and said, you know, what made you think to start a news network that would appeal to, you know, conservatives? And he had an interesting quote. He said, well, it wasn't really some active genius. He said, we had a business model that appealed to 50% of America. You know, that's what I'm suggesting here that to the people listening with the money and the finances and the cloud, the Elon Musks of the world and other who seem to be mildly interested at, you know, at a minimum in liberty and freedom. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:22 There's a market out there. It's called 50% of America. You're talking about over 150 million potential customers for a, you know, a free speech bank, a free speech, PayPal, a free speech, everything. That's what parlor was. And parlor's not done, Glenn. I'm telling you we're going to win this fight. Oh, I know.
Starting point is 00:31:37 There is no way. I know. Once we win, this is going to be a seminal moment when we hit these companies, because we're not, I said on Fox the other day and I'll say it to you again, I will go bankrupt. I will go absolutely destitute before I let this go. I don't care. I have had some very scary moments in my life and they put, you know, horse blinders on me. I know what matters now. And it's not money and it's not money and it's not houses and it's none of that crap. It's this. It's the ability to exist in a free country where you can express your ideas freely and not worry about being, you know, thrown out of your
Starting point is 00:32:14 job and candidly put in jail like they were trying to investigate the IRS with the conservative groups. This is not a new story. None of this is new. So last night, I quoted Edwin Black, who I don't know if you're, you know who he is, but he's brilliant. And his parents were Holocaust survivors, et cetera, et cetera. And I quoted him as saying they're building a digital ghetto. This is what the Germans did in the real world, because there wasn't a digital world. Hey, Jews, you can talk all you want. You can do whatever you want. Just do it behind this wall.
Starting point is 00:32:50 They removed them from society and from sight. And so you could do anything you wanted to them. And the excuse was, no, no, no, they're having a great life. They're just separate from us. They've built a digital ghetto for the right. And it's only going to get more powerful if people don't stand up and say, this is wrong. So how do we do it?
Starting point is 00:33:14 How do we do this? Well, there's a couple. There's going to be multiple steps here. Number one, we're going to need legislators who actually have some, can I say balls? Yes, you can. You just did. Okay, good good. Sorry. That's all right. We don't have that now, Glenn. You deal with these people. I talk to them a lot. I'll tell you some inside baseball. I'm sure you may agree, but I don't want to speak for you.
Starting point is 00:33:37 But speaking to legislators like I have, have been run myself being friendly, I would estimate that less than 10% of the Republican Party understands that is willing to fight this fight. It's sad. Yeah, less than 10%. Yes, I agree. I may be being generous just for the sake. I would say 5%. I would say 5%. Probably close to accurate with that little squiggly sign.
Starting point is 00:33:57 It could be lesser, could be more. Right. So I'm not sure we have the people and they're willing to fight this fight. And anyone's saying, oh, we can't rely on politicians for this fight. Ladies and gentlemen, we live in a constitutional republic. It's a representative democracy. That's the only vehicle we have now. I'm never going to ever, ever sanction, advocate, or not condemn violence, ever.
Starting point is 00:34:19 I'm not going to do it. If the country's law, it's over then. Forget it. We live in a nation of what, guerrilla warfare? That's not my country, not interested. Sorry, hard pass. The only way to do it is to get people in there. We did make some effective change with the Tea Party.
Starting point is 00:34:32 You were in it. You got, what, 300,000 people to show up on the mall and clean the place up. Dan, Dan, I want you to go and read. maybe I'll just send you the portion of this from Barack Obama in his book and also in his founding documents of whatever it is, you know, forward America or whatever that thing was that, you know, was the Obama movement. He talks about how devastating the Tea Party was to his agenda. and he talks about how a few voices screwed it up for him because we turned America against him. No, he did. He did.
Starting point is 00:35:16 But we did have an effect and people feel like we didn't. It was effective. Well, that's a defeatist mentality. Listen, we live in a world of marginality. If you're looking for black or white answers like tea party good, tea party best, that's not the way the world works like a sermon. that. You don't say in the winter, heat good or heat bad. You say how much heat? Now, we live in the world on the margins. The Tea Party in the end, under Barack Obama, got a budget control act
Starting point is 00:35:45 passed granted. It's been rendered toothless by Republicans because they've lost their focus. But we got the budget control act passed under Obama. Don't tell me it didn't do anything. Don't tell me we've given up all avenues. We have to resort to violence. I'm out. I'm not interested at all. We cannot, that's the leftist thing. When you normalize this like they have and you say, oh, riots are okay. I mean, I'm going to cover on my show today, a whole bunch of headlines where Vox and Time magazine, riots aren't that bad, whatever, sanctioning it. I'm not doing that. There's a path here to fix it. It's a long one. It's not an easy one. But no life, no answers in life are easy. We're here for the fight. We're not here for easy answers. I've only got about 90 seconds
Starting point is 00:36:27 for this answer. And it's important as a Secret Service guy, I don't know if you have, seen the posters who I contend were never drawn by a conservative because no conservative has that much art in their soul. But it is for a march on the country, on all of our state capitals armed. I reject this. I think this is the, this could be the Reichstag fire that is needed to finish the republic. And can you speak on your thoughts on an on an armed rally in every capital next week including washington dc i'll tell you this in 60 seconds or less you know everybody likes to quote suns to and all that stuff and it's overplayed but this when you are doing what your enemy wants you to do
Starting point is 00:37:20 don't do it they are setting you up don't do it don't this is nothing to do i've had huge advocate for the second amendment huge Don't do it. I'm convinced they are setting you up. A hundred thousand percent. Don't do it. March all your peaceful protest and civil disobedience are the essence of America. Do your thing.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Don't do it. They are setting you up. I am sure of it. Dan, I pray for you. I know your health. And you can rely on us as friends to help you in anything that you need. We support you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:38:04 I appreciate that. God bless. Dan Bongino. All right, more in just a second. Well, there's nothing I love better than driving a car until the doors fall off. You know, especially when it is, you know, when it is your mode of transportation, you love it or whatever. When you run out a warranty, it's almost impossible to do that now. You can't keep your car running because it becomes too expensive.

Starting point is 00:39:32 This is the Glenn Beck program. Glad you're here. Stu, we've got a lot coming up next hour. We have Andy No. We have Edwin Black. Wow. We have a woman who just sold flagged t-shirts online and shut down. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:55 Seems like there's almost a theme here. Almost a-developing. Almost a theme. Almost a theme. Well, Edwin Black's going to be here to educate those who have been so super busy. in the last few years that they don't understand the term digital ghetto. Well, I think it would be interesting to people who are coming across Edwin Black's work for the first time in the last 12 hours to understand the concepts he's been discussing for many years. Right. The man whose mom and dad survived the Holocaust, who is probably one of the most important scholar on eugenics and the Holocaust.
Starting point is 00:40:30 cost. So it'll be interesting for people like Jake Tapper, et cetera, et cetera, who think that anybody who says that or believes that is a moron or an anti-Semite. Yeah. Again, the path to anti-Semitism can be a winding one. Yeah. Usually it doesn't start in the forest of Poland. Well, sometimes it starts in the forest of Poland. Well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:50 But it's usually if you're on the other side of the gun. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of anti-Semites on that side of the gun. Yeah. With Edwin Black's family, they were fleeing the Nazis. Yeah. Escape.
Starting point is 00:40:59 Treblinka. And the shooting pit. And you just think like, that's not the normal path to dislike Jews. Yeah. But maybe they're right. We'll have to ask Edwin. About that. That'll be an interesting conversation.
Starting point is 00:41:10 What a con he has perpetrated for all these years. Coming off as the world's leading Holocaust scholar. You know? What a con he has lit. As an apparent anti-Semite, according to Jake Tapper. More a moron. Could be just a moron. Could be just a moron.
Starting point is 00:41:28 11 time, you know, nominated for the Pulitzer Prize, but most morons do get that. Well, I should shut my mouth because, well, no, it wasn't a Pulitzer Prize. It was a Nobel Prize that Barack Obama was nominated for. So I guess the morons go for the Nobel Prize, not the Pulitzer. First, let me tell you about American financing. I told you last hour that because of the Biden tax cuts, the finance. financial, the banking system, is now saying they're just going to raise interest rates to pay for those taxes. So you're going to get taxed twice.
Starting point is 00:42:07 You're going to get the tax. And then you can't pass that on to anybody else. So when you try to pay for a mortgage or something else, you're going to pay a higher interest rate so the banks can pay their tax. This is why Marxism and all of this stuff doesn't work. It just never works. I want you to go to American financing and get the lowest interest rate you can possibly get and get it right now before all this stuff starts to happen. Call 800906 2440, 800906 2440. It's Americanfinancing.net. Please do this today. Please. Americanfinancing.net.
Starting point is 00:43:24 Hello, America. I have, I don't think I've ever come to a show except me. maybe some of our first talk radio shows, more prepared than today. I've got so much material that is so important to know that please just stay with me as we try to plow through it and some voices you need to hear. Today, in just about a minute, we have Andy No with us. Andy is a journalist. He has been at all of the Antifa rallies. he was one of the first to say that what happened at the Capitol last week was not Antifa. It was people who claimed to be conservatives and Trump supporters and also echoed everything that anyone who is sane says, we cannot condone violence.
Starting point is 00:44:20 If we get into that, we become them. And he is joining us because the, I'm trying to get this straight. the anti-fascists. So the people who are against book burning and people telling you what to read and say and think, those people who are against all of that are actually now digitally burning Andy No's book and trying to have him silenced. He needs a bigger platform and I provide it to him in 60 seconds. Jeffrey is from Texas.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Jeffrey is from Texas. He's a listener of a listener of mine. And he's 71. He still is working every day at his auto detailing business. God bless him. He rides a motorcycle every day to work. I'm in my 50s. I'm not riding a motorcycle, but that's a different story.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Now, Jeffrey went through a period that was really hard for him because of severe knee and lower back pain. and he, you know, he wasn't able to really kind of go to work. He wasn't able to do the things that he love, write his motorcycle, etc., etc. Well, he decided to take Relief Factor. He wasn't going to take it lying down. He says, it works for me every day. I now can work and play the way I used to. I have my life back with Relief Factor.
Starting point is 00:45:56 Get your life back. Try it. It's not a drug developed by doctors, however, and 70% of the people who try it go on to order more. Why would you do that unless it worked? 1995 for the trial pack, do it now. See if it works for you. Relieffactor.com. Relieffactor.com or call 800, 500, 583,84, relief factor.com.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Tonight, our Wednesday night special, we are laser-focused. We cannot get distracted. Little by little, Joe Biden's administration is getting ready for something historic and not in a good way. If the moves are not made right now, we may never finally get to the bottom of possibly the most corrupt president in American history. It looks like some of his cabinet picks were picked specifically so everything could just poof go away. And his agenda is a crisis. We're going to show you what is coming your way under a Biden administration, and we're going to show you what is coming your way under a Biden administration. and we're going to show you who is involved, his cabinet picks tonight, his partners.
Starting point is 00:47:05 It is Biden's cabinet secrets, a crony cabal, 9 p.m. live tonight on Blaze TV. $30 off for your subscription. Join us now, blazTV.com slash Glenn. Andy No, editor at large, the post-millennial, author, Unmasked. And this is the reaction. Play the audio from Antifa in Portland. The manager came out and said your own private property. You can't really be here.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Blah, blah, blah. Like, it the fuck cares about that. And the bookstore has decided not to sell Andy No's book. I hope we sell a ton of his book right now, unmassed by Andy No. Andy, how are you, sir? I'm doing okay. Thank you for having me all. You have had quite a year.
Starting point is 00:48:02 I have. Speaking of 2020 and just even the past 12 days until 2021, I think my heart is really grieving for the United States, seeing all these people now coming out to condemn the political violence that happened at the capitals. Which we all do. Which we all do. And we should. My response is, where the hell were you last year? Yes. When thousands of rioters lay siege to my city, when they tried to burn down federal property, federal courthouse, thousands of them came with explosives.
Starting point is 00:48:48 They came with starving fires, electric power tools to cut into the building. I mean, the response at times and those who are crowing the loudest now was at that silence. And in the worst cases, like in the case of Kamala Harris actually tweeting out links for crowdfunding for bail funds for people accused a really heinous riot crime.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I mean, can you imagine if I or you or Rush Limbaugh or anybody came out and said, hey, there's a fund here to help get these guys out of jail, you know, the worst of the worst, the ones that were in with, you know, they were going to arrest Mike Pence. can you imagine what would happen? Well, I mean, we don't even have to like really speculate. You can see that the big tech mobilizes to work with a fire left to silence people. And that's why disgrace New York Times reporter Sarah John has been calling for me to be permanently banned from Twitter. They feel really empowered by Trump being silenced everywhere.
Starting point is 00:49:56 Antifa extremists feel empowered to attack Portland's largest bookstore for the past two days. They actually forced the bookstore to shut down in downtown because they're coming in and making all these demands that they're not doing it enough to ban my book. It's not enough that the store has already acquiesced and said they're not going to stock it on shelves. The people don't want it on the online catalog either. Andy first of all let's talk about your book because I want to give you the time
Starting point is 00:50:31 to sell as many copies as possible so tell me about the book first and then I want to talk to you about what do we do so let's talk about the book first on mouse is the the what I've been working on now
Starting point is 00:50:46 to try to uncover what is this violence extremist movement who uses various names, most commonly Antifa, some of them are more deceptive being used and call themselves other things. But all of them have the stated agenda and goal of destabilizing the republic
Starting point is 00:51:07 and actually overthrowing it if you look at their literature. And what was really shocking and fascinating and watching a real time, particularly living in Portland and also going up to Seattle, was how they were actually able, at times, to claim terror. as sovereign territory separate from the United States and that the local governments actually allowed them to do that in many ways facilitated the means for that to happen.
Starting point is 00:51:34 In the case of Seattle, that Chaz, Capitol Hill, Tomlinson, Zone led to multiple homicides, shootings, Portland, Afghanistan, autonomous zone that would set up. Over and over, we're seeing the same variables that have allowed for this movement to become a phenomenon, on a growing one, ascendant one, these variables are remaining, even with the incoming administration. And just with, we're early into 2021, but we can see, actually, they seem quite empowered. We've had now four riots in Portland since New Jersey below. We had a riot on the same day that the Capitol Hill riot happened, and that received no attention. When these extremists were using many of the same tactics, trying to break into government property.
Starting point is 00:52:19 and it's revealing sort of this whole apparatus and how it works and how they're so effective and it helps to dispel some of these myths like thinking that there's one big person on top pulling the lever or that they are funded by rich billionaires. It's not actually they're organizing and funding and sources of money laundering. It's happening in plain sight with the aid of big tech
Starting point is 00:52:49 and they do it openly on platforms like Twitter and Instagram and Facebook, and they face really no bannings that whole. We're talking to Andy, no, the book that you need to buy, do not buy a digital copy, buy a hardbound copy. It's called Unmasked Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy. It has to bother you that the word sedition, and revolutionary or anti-government is being thrown around by people who, I do believe, committed sedition last Wednesday. They were trying to topple the organized government and take things into their own hands.
Starting point is 00:53:39 But Antifa has a very long record. I mean, it is in their own manifestos that, I mean, they took to the streets and declared sovereign property, as you just said, away from the United States. It must sincerely bother you that no one is willing to call them seditious on the left and in the media and in Washington. Well, not only are they not willing to call them seditious, so actually we'll praise them. Lavish praise on them, actually. And even those, and they protect them, actually. And one of the reasons why Antifa in Portland have been working overdrive to try to get my book banned into threatened businesses I would sell it is because I've been very systematic and chronicling the arrest that have happened in Portland.
Starting point is 00:54:31 Fortunately, it's still accessible for public record. But the mugshots that I've been releasing, the charges the names, over 90% of them get charged. Excuse me, over 90% of them get the charges dropped. This is a corrupt system we have in Portland. and the local media doesn't release the names and photos of those accused of these crimes. Whereas, you know, you look at the disparate treatment of those who were on Capitol Hill. They're going after no fly lists now, which why can't, if you're going to do that, you have to do that for Antifa. But they won't. They won't.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Andy, the mayor of Portland came out, I think a week or two ago, and said, enough is enough, and we've got to get tough on Antifa. I don't even know if he's sincere in that or what, but what I really think that the people at Antifa, they think that they are in charge and running things. but I truly believe the Democrats are going to treat them eventually like Hitler did the SD or the SA. They were marching in the streets. They were brutalizing people. They were the thugs that got things to be pushed through the chaos on the streets. And when their job was no longer useful, he killed them all. So I think the Democrats are playing a dangerous game in that they don't really,
Starting point is 00:56:04 realize what people they're embracing indirectly as allies. I think in the case of, so let's look at Portland and Seattle. The Portland mayor, the Seattle mayor viewed, well, yes,
Starting point is 00:56:20 Antifa is radical, but they're rioting in the name of racial justice and social justice. Therefore, let's give them a bit of space to do that and well, they flex their hand. and they actually claim territory and cause people to actually die.
Starting point is 00:56:39 In the case of Portland, the mayor is coming out a little bit hosher now, but let's not forget that since he came into office at the beginning of 2017, and it was under his watch that this movement exploded in Portland, that this movement turned Portland into the center of American far-left violence. So I guess four years late, better late than ever, maybe, but I mean, they you know
Starting point is 00:57:05 they didn't anybody else because he's not seeding everything to them and actually he was assaulted last week when he was dining
Starting point is 00:57:13 in a restaurant so they're going after him eventually so yeah this is the game that the mainstream Democrats are playing with and they have had
Starting point is 00:57:26 a convenient excuse in sharing having a shared enemy in the Trump administration but those days are limited now. And I can promise that the violence that we saw in 2020 will continue. And it takes a very, very small spot for us to see more interactions like we saw last year
Starting point is 00:57:46 because all the other underlying variables that go there. We're talking to Andy Noe in his upcoming book called Unmast. I urge you to get it. I've got about a minute and a half left for an answer to this. question, Andy. But there are a lot of people that will listen to you or to me or others, and they all like, I know the problem. I know how big it is. And they can see what's coming their way. And that's, I think, one of the reasons. And there are many reasons, but no excuses for violence. But people feel like they are being backed in a corner and they have nothing
Starting point is 00:58:28 else to do, which is incorrect. But what do you suggest? What do you? I think any kind of violence is giving the left exactly what they want. But what can people do? You know, this is a question I've been wrestling with myself in the course of writing this book and just sort of watching helplessly as my city was burnt and other American cities were burnt to the ground. And I'm not sure if I have an answer for that, sadly. I was and remained a very strong believer in American institutions, but when you're looking at how, let's say at local levels,
Starting point is 00:59:13 how corrupt things can be that allow violence to political violence to so plainly operate in people who law enforcement actually apprehend are getting their charges immediately dropped just as a matter of policy. And it's not just unique to Portland that you see that. You see that in Seattle in San Francisco. and other. A lot of these places, this is where the prosecutors have been getting their support from George Soros. That's where he puts his money. Where the people that are, yeah. So I guess I would just say that, you know, conservatives, freedom lovers, we need to get better at organizing.
Starting point is 00:59:56 And my criticism is not so much at the grassroots level. It comes from conservatives. who are in positions of power, who are so afraid of how the media will treat them that they would do, they would throw their constituents under the bus for just to have a nice headline, for example. I think. But I'm afraid that there are dark days ahead for the country. I fear those two. Thank you so much. Andy No.
Starting point is 01:00:31 again, the name of his book that everybody should get, especially since the left really doesn't want you to, they don't even want it to be printed. It's called unmasked, unmasked. And it is all about what's really happening with Antifa. And please support Andy. You can follow him at Mr. Andy. No, that's NGO. I think he should be a bond villain. I mean, it's just so great.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Mr. Andy no. Okay, let me take a quick 10 second break or a 60 second break and tell you about Raycon. Oh, boy, I can't wait for 2021 because 2020 sucked. Shut up! Now, my kids have done something that I find really annoying, but I'm thinking about using it on them and on the rest of the world. they just keep their their earbuds in all the time they just you know they just keep them in there all the time and so you're talking to them and you think they're listening and they're not listening at all no uh you think that they're paying attention not at all they've got something going on
Starting point is 01:01:45 if you'd like this uh to be able to get through 2021 may i suggest raycon because the raycon once too. Like if you have those other brands like they hang down low your ears, you can see them really easily. Raycon, they're just right flat right in air. Oh no, they're great. They're great. They're in stylish colors. I'd like them to be made in flesh tones, but Raycon's offering a 15% discount on all of their products. I want you to go to buy raycon.com slash Beck. You can get that 15% discount only there by Raycon.com slash Beck. 15% off your entire Raycon order. So feel free to grab a pair and a spare. Maybe your wife or husband would like to not listen to anybody as well.
Starting point is 01:02:29 15% off now by Raycon.com slash back. 10 second station ID. There is so much going on. I'm still reeling from yesterday's news that Colin Powell said he can no longer call himself a Republican. I mean, that set me back. Wasn't that shocking? It was shocking news.
Starting point is 01:02:55 I mean, he's only voted for the Democratic candidate in every election I can remember since he was in the administration. Okay, but other than that. But other than that, I can't, I don't know what would indicate that he wouldn't be a Republican. He said he's a Republican every time he's announced the vote. Right. Which is interesting. Right.
Starting point is 01:03:15 He just keeps saying, I'm a Republican, but I'm voting for the Democrat this time. And then he does it every single election. Yes, he has. But this time, he's no longer a Republican. He's no longer going to come out every election and say, I'm a Republican, but I just have to vote for them. It was kind of becoming like a little tradition for me. I know. Kind of like, you know, Christmas trees and single-old parol.
Starting point is 01:03:37 I have my Colin Powell voted for a Democrat tree and I put a different ornament on the tree every year. Every time he votes for. And now I just got to get a bigger tree because it's been weighed down all the ornaments. All the, all the branches are just laying down on the ground because they're so heavy with I voted for a Democrat ornament. God did not design trees to bear all that weight. No, they didn't. They didn't. But again, I'm still reeling.
Starting point is 01:04:02 from that, but there's a lot of news that you need to know, including an answer on things that we do need to do, and things I would like you to focus on, and we'll do that coming up. But Edwin Black is joining us next because I was quoting him last night. I'm called an anti-Semite for it. Or a moron. I can't remember which, so that's coming up next. You don't want to miss it. All right.

You can come across those phone companies every single day. What you can't come across is one that is just as good, has great coverage, lower prices, isn't going to screw you, and doesn't believe in killing babies. Isn't that weird?

Starting point is 01:07:19 Last night, I was on Tucker Carlson. And I said this. Can't have freedom of speech. If you can't have, if you can't express. yourself in a meaningful place. This is like the Germans with the Jews behind the wall. They would put them in the ghetto. Well, this is the digital ghetto. You can talk all you want.
Starting point is 01:07:44 Jews, you do whatever you want behind the wall. Well, that's not meaningful. And that's where we are. That's where millions of Americans will be. So last night, boy, the American Jewish Committee, the AJC. The constant weaponization of history's darkest chapter is deeply offensive and an affront to the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. There is no comparison between big tech companies enforcing their community standards and the Holocaust. Period. None. Period.
Starting point is 01:08:17 Period. I had Jake Tapper said that you're either a moron or an anti-Semite. That anyone who would believe what I said about the digital government. ghetto and talk about ghettoization is a moron or an anti-Semite. Well, I wanted to get the guy who actually coined the term. He said, digital ghettoization. I think it's the same thing. But his name is Edwin Black.
Starting point is 01:08:47 He was on with me yesterday. He has been nominated for a Nobel Prize or his name submitted for a Nobel Prize, a Pulitzer Prize, 11 times, 11 times. I don't think he's a moron. I don't think he's an anti-Semite. I want to make sure I'm in line with the man I think is one of the greatest Holocaust historians alive today. Welcome to the program, Enwood Black. And thank you for having me, Glenn.
Starting point is 01:09:22 So, Edwin, I want to make sure, because, I mean, I think you know me well enough to know how I feel. about the Holocaust and Israel and Jews. I mean, I've won the Defender of Israel Award from Sheldon Adelson. It was presented to me by Sheldon and Benjamin Netanyahu. I mean, I'm serious about these issues. Am I wrong? Did I say something out of context here? No, you didn't say anything wrong.
Starting point is 01:09:56 And I think that the criticism you've received, quite ill, ill-advised. I think it's a measure of our times, not a measure of the accuracy of the claim. So here's why you use the word digital ghetto. It's because I coined the term, digital ghetto and algorithm ghetto. And I did that in 2018 as the keynote speaker for Holocaust Day of the official Governor Holocaust Day speaking in the rotunda of the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing. And I summarized my remarks, including the algorithm in ghetto and the digital ghetto, for an editorial, which ran in the Times of Israel and about 30 other papers and history network news. and I was concerned and I remained even more concerned that the activities of the trying into digital ghettos.
Starting point is 01:11:14 Now, I should mention that a ghetto, even though my parents are Holocaust survivors and they used to think it was a Polish word, is actually an Italian word, a Jewish Italian word, which originates from the 16th century from one of the first named ghettos, and that was in Venice. And the word comes from, it is argued by many that the word may come from the Jewish or Hebrew word get, which is a divorce, but it also means being put aside from or separated from. The 19th century, the ghettos became much, much worse, and during the Holocaust, they became the first step along the way toward annihilation for the Jews. This, of course, was facilitated by IBM in its 12-year alliance with the Nazis, which I wrote
Starting point is 01:12:16 about in IBM and the Holocaust. Several years ago, when I was writing my book, War Against a Week about eugenics and genetics, the word was coined genetic ghetto and was used largely by Hadassah and many others who were seeking legislation that would not permit people to take testing of individuals of their genetic background for the purpose of denying them employment, credit, access to housing, etc. and I believe the genetic ghetto was one of the earliest modernizations of this terrible place, ghetto. And of course, my parents were in a ghetto.
Starting point is 01:13:11 You use this term because that's exactly what I've observed and what many people have observed. I think that there was nothing historic about the criticism involving history in the criticism that you received, I think this is just another byproduct of anything that anyone says is being transmogrified and weaponized against them. I am very concerned about the breach of the concept that you do not use Hitler as a criticism, even though numerous leading Holocaust historians have called Trump a Hitler. And I don't like that. I have to tell you this, we can use Nazis.
Starting point is 01:14:02 We can use concentration camps. We can use stormtroopers. We can use Trump, you know, or Hitler to describe the Trump administration. But you can't ever do it. It is so important to me, Edwin, that we, you know, the phrase never forget doesn't mean don't forget. don't forget what they did. It means don't forget how we got to the showers. And it's the seeds, unless you pull those weeds up early,
Starting point is 01:14:37 and you recognize them no matter which side. I mean, I would be saying this. If the Republicans owned Facebook and Google, and they were in bed with the government and they were silencing people, I would be saying exactly the same thing. these are the seeds, the weeds that start to spread up. And if you don't cut them off early, it's too late.
Starting point is 01:15:03 Am I wrong? Well, I, of course, have seen the misuse of this term by so many of Holocaust terms. I heard Arnold Schwarzenegger the other day call, make reference to a Kristallnacht, which is something I studied in 1938, which involved the murder and imprisonment and burning of many thousand Jewish lives and institutions. And also had the army and the police standing by doing nothing, doing nothing. Yes, because this was one of the best manifestations, Kristallnacht, of the authorities, becoming part of the affliction in the worst way.
Starting point is 01:15:58 Naturally, that started on January 30th, 1933. Everybody needs to take a breath. When we are talking about a digital ghetto, that's exactly what we're talking about. We're talking about people who wish to silence you. We're talking about people who wish to marginalize others. We're talking about corporations that are trying to follow. the the most
Starting point is 01:16:28 awesome steps of marginalization. And once again, we're only talking about this for the digital means. It was IBM that made it possible for Hitler
Starting point is 01:16:40 to perpetrate the Nazis. That does not mean that this is a Nazi regime or Twitter is part of a Nazi regime. But what it does mean is that high-tech
Starting point is 01:16:54 was involved in the worst crime in the history of humanity. I've heard people talk about, well, these are private companies. Google is a private company. Twitter is a private company. They're not private companies. They're public companies. And they are owned by all of us.
Starting point is 01:17:15 And there's a public interest in these companies abiding by the law. And I believe it was Marsh v. Alabama. Am I wrong in about 1946? Yep. The private companies. I talked about that last night. Yep.
Starting point is 01:17:34 That stated that a private company cannot engage in illegal activity or improper activity, regardless of its terms and conditions. Yeah, it can't, when it comes to the private ownership, versus the Constitution, the Constitution always must remain supreme. Edwin, we'll have you on again. I'm sorry if I said something out of turn last night. I don't think I did. You didn't say anything out of turn.
Starting point is 01:18:08 The out of turn is from my friends, and they know who they are. Tone down the rhetoric. Tone down the rhetoric. If you have a problem, give me a call. You know who you are. and you know who I am. Keep the Holocaust out of this, but we need to look at the steps,
Starting point is 01:18:29 and we need to understand that right now, people are following the step of identification, exclusion, and confiscation. Jeez. And that's... Those are bad things. That is where we wanted to stop. The purpose of the historian is to look ahead
Starting point is 01:18:49 and over the horizon. based on what he has seen come before. That's why we are here. So thank you very much for having that. Thank you. God bless you. Edwin Black. Jake Tapper, I hope you actually hear that interview.
Starting point is 01:19:06 And hear it with your heart, not your head. Not stop using your political bias that you have drummed into this framework in your head. Listen with an open mind. understand what we're warning. All right, Car shield. No, sorry, blinds.com. Blinds.com is a way for you to change scenery. Glenn cracks open the secrets of Biden's cabinet nominees to reveal their corruption, their crony capitalism, and their marching orders to execute the Great Reset. Watch Glenn expose Biden's cabinet secrets.
Starting point is 01:20:49 Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern, only of blaishtiv.com slash Glenn. So I want to ask those who are Democrats, not lefties, how do you interpret things like, let me play this, please? This is from Project Veritas exposing the chief of counsel, the lawyer for PBS. Listen to this. Even if Biden wins. We go for all the Republican voters and Homeland Security will take their children away. What do you think of that?
Starting point is 01:21:34 We'll put them Trump supporters, children, into re-education camps. Because in these times, which are unique, I mean, Trump is close to Hitler. Okay, stop. What do you make of that? What do you say? And they're not the only one. WAPO columnist calls for deprogramming of Trump cult. Listen to this.
Starting point is 01:21:57 There are millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans, who somehow need to be deprogrammed. It's as if they're members of a cult, the Trumpist cult, and we have to be deprogrammed. Do you have any idea how we start that process? that's even much less complete it. I'm sorry, but when people are saying those things, there's only one way to interpret
Starting point is 01:22:33 that, and maybe perhaps it's those on the left that should watch their language. Hello, America. What a day. What a day? Things are going crazy. They're voting on impeaching the president today
Starting point is 01:22:52 for the second time in the house. He's got, what, eight days left. They will absolutely impeach him in the House. Mitch McConnell says he'd vote to root him out. This is a message to all those who are thinking about, well, I might run for president. They will destroy you, destroy your family. They will do everything right out in the open and you can't do anything about it. It's a disgrace.
Starting point is 01:23:19 What's been going on in this country, Wednesday, last week from the right, and what's happening from the left. It's an absolute disgrace. Let me go to John in Illinois, who's been holding for a while. Hello, John. Hello. So I called because a lot of us feel that, you know, we'd be painted into a quarter. It feels like we only really have two choices, that one, we're peaceful, and we let our country be taken over, too. We violently oppose, probably lose, but at least we tried. But really, what we need to do is come up with a new solution that they're not expecting. You know, we have all of the doers and the inventors and the business owners and millions of others on our side. And I'm a business owner and I have several ideas
Starting point is 01:24:15 that I'd like to tell you off the year, but basically all of them require an organizer and a guy with the microphone. So that leaves a lot of this out, and that's kind of, you know, we're... Well, I tell you what, why don't you, why don't I put you on hold, and you can talk to one of my producers, and they'll put you in touch with somebody else on my team,
Starting point is 01:24:35 and you can share those ideas. I'm always open to other ideas, but this is going to fall to all of us, not just some leader. I have also something for people who are angry. What do we do? What do we do? Do you notice what? he just said there. I feel like
Starting point is 01:24:52 we only have two choices. Stu, Cass Sunstein, what is he known for? Choice structure? What is choice structure? Well, I mean, if you want to get someone to pick the thing that you want them to do, if you structure
Starting point is 01:25:08 the choices in a way that they really feel like that's the only way I can go. It's very helpful. It's very helpful. Behavioral economics. So I wonder why we all feel like, There's no choices but violence. It's what they want.
Starting point is 01:25:26 I'll give you the other path in 60 seconds. Oh, golly. Can I talk to you here a little bit about real estate agents I trust.com? If you're looking to sell your house, I mean, you need a great real estate agent. You need someone who's going to be able to step in and actually do the job, especially in times like this. You know, you have an economy that's obviously highly questionable. A lot of people lost their job. moving around the country, if you're going to a new area, and, you know, what are you going to do?
Starting point is 01:25:58 You're going to choose a real estate agent that's got their face on a bench. Is that how you're going to pick your real estate agent? If you want to get the best price for a home when you're buying or the best price for your home when you're selling, you need real estate agents.itrust.com. These are people who know their local communities that know who the best person is to come in and fix something, that know how to present your house in the best way possible. These are the best in the business. So go to real estate agents. I trust.com. make sure you go there, check it out. And when you're buying or selling your home,
Starting point is 01:26:27 you need to make sure you're not just taking up your friend of a friend or a relative or somebody you saw at Starbucks one day. You need to go with real estate agents.itrust.com. Have a real estate agents that is screened. Real estate agents, I trust.com. I want to talk to you about something that probably didn't make a lot of sense a long time ago. In fact, I can't tell you how many program directors
Starting point is 01:26:56 how many stations, you know, threatened to cancel, how many calls I got from the average listener saying, what the hell are you even talking about when I talked about the leadership of Martin Luther King? And I have done everything I can as much as I possibly can to teach you about Martin Luther King and nonviolent protests. And I don't think there's anybody in the media who has talked about nonviolence longer and more in depth on commercial airwaves than me. Could be wrong, but I bet you almost in American history, that might even be, that it might even stand up to be true. Preachers, certainly. But commercial airwaves, I don't think anybody has. now I think many are beginning to understand why I tried to lay that foundation.
Starting point is 01:28:01 I have told you since September 11th, I have this feeling that you are going to be the group of people that will in the end save the Republic. I've always believed that. I don't know how it is saved. It might just be preserved in our hearts and in sections. I don't know. But I believe it now. I never wanted us to get to this. I mean, everything I've done is to prevent us from getting here,
Starting point is 01:28:30 but everybody is so politically tied to their side that no one will let their shields down and actually listen to one another. And we're at that desperate point now. You are equipped to save the republic because you at least hopefully have a fundamental understanding of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and you understand at least a basic understanding of American history. More importantly, what makes this audience so phenomenal is that it is the most generous and serviced-minded audience of any show in America and perhaps the world. That's part of what continues to be so frustrating about the Capitol invasion last week. Because you're being maligned.
Starting point is 01:29:28 You, I know who you are. This is the most peaceful, generous, loving, god-fearing, authentic, patriotic audience in America. And you are frustrated and you are tired of being hit in the face and called bigot and everything else, no matter what you do. I know, I know. I've been called an anti-Semite just in the last 24 hours by everybody. unjustly. I get it. You are now being tainted by the actions of complete imbecils who do not represent you and I. It's not fair, but that's the hand that we're being dealt. And God's in charge. He is not surprised. We know the left's current tactics fail in the long run,
Starting point is 01:30:22 silencing, canceling, taking away rights. These are the hallmarks of regime, after regime, after Marxist regime, on the ash heaps of history. Now, China is still there because they have taken the so-called free market, which is not free. They took the capitalist system, and they combined it with their Marxist utopia. And I don't know what's going to happen to the people over there, especially seeing that our high-tech has joined them to weed out the dissidents. it's not inevitable that we join them and it is going to require us to take a stand just not in the way
Starting point is 01:31:07 that most people especially if they're angry think is most effective look at the ratings of BLM 78% of Americans at the beginning of the summer thought that they were swell that number is in the low 20s now why because violence doesn't work
Starting point is 01:31:28 I don't know if you saw the fellowship of the ring, but do you remember if you did when Frodo says, I don't want to do this? He's lamenting having to face down the evil, and he's just one guy. I'll never forget, because it was right after 9-11, that that movie came out, I'll never forget Gandalf's reply.
Starting point is 01:31:59 Gandalf said, so do we all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what we're going to do with the time that is given us. We can't decide what others are going to do. We can't control the dangerous Orwellian darkness that seems to be descending on America. All we can control, read Man Search for Meaning, is our role. response and strive to lead by example.
Starting point is 01:32:39 And by the way, if you know anyone in your sphere of influence who might be planning to attend one of these armed rallies in the coming days, beg them not to go. Do everything you can to stop them. That is not the way to take a stand. It does not protect anything that you hold dear. It will endanger the Republic. It is what the other side wants. Darkness. Watch Star Wars. Yes, give in. Embrace your hatred. Don't do it. But Glenn, how do we take a stand? First thing I need you to do today. Help lower the temperature. Next week and beyond. It has been so hard for me not to respond to people on Twitter today who have called me every name under the sun because I quoted the leading.
Starting point is 01:33:36 Holocaust historian last night on Tucker Carlson. But see, that wasn't an attack on me. That was an attack on Tucker. If you can scare the guests from coming on to Tucker, you destroy Tucker. That's what they're doing. That wasn't an attack on me. That was an attack on him. Do not vent your anger on social media.
Starting point is 01:33:56 At this point, it is probably just going to get your account shut down. I want you to write this down. I want you to keep this in front of you. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the children of God. That means something today, much more than it did six months ago. Blessed be the peacemakers, be a peacemaker. You have to stay plugged in, and this is the hard part. You can't disconnect because things are moving too rapidly.
Starting point is 01:34:35 You must stay plugged in. But I want you to reach out to someone in kindness on social media. Encourage someone. Do not engage with the darkness. Be the light in the corner of your world instead. You need to be a leader for what is to come. And I know I'm asking you almost the impossible. I know you are angry and frustrated and it is gut-wrenching to feel like you're powerless
Starting point is 01:35:05 to stop your nation from what you believe is sliding into the, the abyss and I believe it too with everything in me I wish I was wrong I hope that I am I pray that I am but know this you are not powerless you are not voiceless you may be the voice the only voice that anyone hears voices like mine will go away I am I am trying to to think of how I can't what I need to share with you before and God forbid if that ever happens because I cannot live with myself if I was talking about something stupid politically and I find my voice silenced and then saying I wish I would have said this I wish I would have told them this you wield more power than you know not because of your vote or being able to call your
Starting point is 01:36:09 congressman you're more powerful than you know because you understand the real problem in america the real problem in america is not political it is spiritual and until we are humbled when you get angry and you're like i'm going to take this into my own you are not being humble you think you'll fix it. Everything is happening to us because we are an arrogant, out of control people. We must humble ourselves. Please, you have the skill and the strength to endure the fiery darts that are going to come your way or already are. But this is a problem with our heart. You cannot reach someone's head without capturing their heart. And no one is going to capture anybody heart through violence.
Starting point is 01:37:13 Start in your own home and then reach out. And if you're able, serve your neighbor. If you can, serve your local community. You must be a beacon of light in a very dark place. Boy, I'm going to ask you to do something you're really not going to like. And that's how I always know when things are from God was when I hear something or I think something and I'm like oh crap I don't want to do that and you just know it's right you just know no you know it's what god wants and you're hoping that you're like i didn't hear that and he's like
Starting point is 01:37:55 yeah you're right i didn't notice you noticed that and it's so horrible because it's the last thing you want to do but god is unlike many of our churches and preachers he doesn't tell us what we want to here. He doesn't have to pay for the church or get collection or be judged by how many people go. He'll say the same thing. And he'll lose whole flux. And they'll eventually start to go, oh, wait, wait, wait, where's the shepherd again? He's not like our preachers. He'll tell you what you have to do. And he'll tell you especially if it's the last thing you want to do. I'll talk to you about it in 60 seconds. Let me tell you about gold line. What is your backup plan?
Starting point is 01:38:49 I know that sounds like a, you know, kind of a vague question, but that's what kind of makes it scary because we all have to have a backup plan. There are tons of things that could go very, very wrong in the coming months. And there's a bunch of things that could go wrong with the economy alone. The banking sector, the whole low, low, low, low interest rates are going to go away just because. taxes are going to go up on the banks and the banks are going to take it out on you. They're going to do what every business does. I've got more expenses, so I'm just going to pass it on to the customer. We're printing money and wait until you see how much we print in the future.
Starting point is 01:39:34 Gold line. Please, please. It is where everyone goes when the world has gone insane. It goes back to a reset and it always was reset with gold. please call Gold Line now. Get physical gold. Ask them about their specials right now of five free half ounce pure bullion silver coins. When you buy a box of them, the $5 liberties, which is what I buy, call them now.
Starting point is 01:40:00 They're waiting for you at 866 Goldline. 866 Gold Line or Goldline.com. 10 seconds, station ID. I'm just thinking about how many preacher friends I have from all different faiths. And I love going to, I love going to synagogues. I love going to Baptist churches. I just love seeing the way people connect with God. And I said to a preacher right before he let me behind the pulpit of his church,
Starting point is 01:40:50 I said to him, you know what I think this is? And he said what? I said, you guys know that I'm a Mormon, which is the last person that most Christian pastors would say, hey, I want you to listen to this guy. I said, but you know that Mormons, nobody wants to be. come a Mormon. I mean, it's like the, I mean, it's like, hey, you want to do something fun? Join the Mormon church is never on that list. And I said, I think you guys just know that your crowd will just go, oh yeah. Well, he makes a lot of sense. Of course, he's a Mormon and
Starting point is 01:41:26 we ain't following him there. So they put their guard down. They're just like, you can talk all you want, because nobody's going to follow you there. And I like that. I like that because I think that, our connection with God must be personal. And the reason why I was thinking about that story is because I'm not a preacher. I'm just a guy like you, a dad, who is struggling mightily with his own children and his own family. I have the same problems that you have. I am lucky enough to not have the worries of my job like you have, but I still have the worries of my job. but I have to tell you now some things that I want you to do, and they're not new, but I need you to hear me.
Starting point is 01:42:28 I am asking you if you want to stand for the Republic. Next week is inauguration week. I need you first to pray. Pray like you've never prayed before. Pray for humility. pray for guidance, pray for peace, pray for those people who you think you hate, because you don't, because hatred does not come from any good place. Then I want you to go out and serve someone in any way possible.
Starting point is 01:43:01 On inauguration day especially, get your family and your children involved. Volunteer somewhere. Take someone a meal. Do something to lift the spirits of hospital workers or your local police department. Help a stranger. mow a lawn, fix someone's car, pick up trash on the side of the highway. Do what you can do, but the most important thing is to do it with a sincere heart. And if someone asks you, why are you doing this?
Starting point is 01:43:28 Just say, because I love my country. Rise above the fray in service in love with malice toward none and charity for all. We must change hearts to save the Republic. Let me tell you about life luck. cyber criminals are real they're out there and they like nothing better than to find ways to take advantage of you it's time to take every measure that you can to protect yourself from them it's important to understand how dangerous cybercrime is an identity theft and how frequent it is and how it will totally destroy your life we're on the internet all the times kids at school it's all the time now and nobody can prevent all
Starting point is 01:44:19 identity theft or keep you protected at all times. Things are starting to become more and more clear if you have the eyes and the ears and the countenance to hear it. But listen to this. We've all been given by those who came before the dream of a nation where freedom could endure.
Starting point is 01:45:57 The works and prayers of centuries have brought us to. this day. What shall be our legacy? What will our children say? Each generation from the plains to the distant shores, each generation from the plains to distant shore with the gifts that they were given were determined to leave more. Battles fought together, acts of conscience fought alone, these are the seeds from which America has grown. For those who think they have nothing to share, whose fear in their hearts is that there is no hero there. Know that each quiet act of dignity is that which fortifies the soul of a nation that never dies.
Starting point is 01:47:03 What will be our legacy? What will our children say? let them say of me i was one who believed in sharing the blessings i received let me know in my heart when my days are through america america i gave my best to you it's never popular to stand up for peace because the only time you actually have to stand up for peace, it's like standing up for free speech, it's really easy to be a free speech. I'm a free speech, you know, absoluteist, are you?
Starting point is 01:47:57 So when somebody says something that you absolutely abhor, you say, I stand by their right to say that. If you don't, you need to change that. You need to be that person. Because the only time that standing up for free, free speech means anything is when somebody is saying something that you hold dear or that you love and they're saying something that is deeply offensive to you. The rest of it is easy.
Starting point is 01:48:30 I'm a Christian. Well, except for all the don't sin here, here, and here parts. That's not a Christian. You're not an American. You don't believe in the Bill of Rights if you don't stand up for the Bill of Rights. when it doesn't benefit you. In fact, it may hurt you. I tell you, I've studied revolutions.
Starting point is 01:48:56 I've studied the movements of people to try to stop those revolutions or to defang the violence. Sometimes they win. Sometimes they fail. They always fail. They always fail. And Bonhofer is the greatest example of it. if the hearts of the people have grown hard. Why do you think we're being pushed and pushed and pushed?
Starting point is 01:49:23 Think about it, not from the darkness side, but from the light side. Why are we being pushed? We're being pushed so we will be humble so that our hearts may be open. Don't know about you, but I've read my scriptures lately, unlike I've read them before, things have new meaning to me this week and last week. I was just looking over something that I wrote and that I plagiarized from Martin Luther King when we went to Birmingham. And I made everybody who went sign it.
Starting point is 01:50:00 And it is Martin Luther King's pledge of nonviolence. I want you to listen to these words now perhaps in a different way. He wrote, one, as you prepare to march, meditate on the lives, the lives, the lives, life and teachings of Jesus. He was just a preacher. He was a Jesus freak. What does he mean by meditate on the life and the teachings of Jesus? Jesus was all about peace.
Starting point is 01:50:28 Anybody who doesn't like Jesus doesn't understand Jesus. You may not like Jesus' supporters. I'm with you on some of that. But anybody who doesn't like Jesus doesn't think like that guy was amazing. Doesn't know Jesus. He was all about peace. at his cost. Two, remember the nonviolent movement seeks justice and reconciliation, not victory.
Starting point is 01:50:59 What? I want to win. No, because winning implies there is a loser. This is what the problem is right now. Joe Biden won. Everyone who voted for him, you're wrong, you're worthless. that's not victory. That's a win. We don't want a win.
Starting point is 01:51:27 We don't want to run across and go, victory. It was us the whole time. Three, walk and talk in the manner of love for God is love. Wow, is that one hard. Pray daily to be used by God that all men and women might be free. Sacrifice personal wishes that all men. might be free. Observe with friend and foe the ordinary rules of courtesy.
Starting point is 01:52:02 Perform regular service for others and the world. Refrain from violence of fist, tongue, and heart. Just contemplate. I understand violence of fist. I even understand violence of tongue. Violence of heart? Strive to be in good spiritual and bodily health. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:52:24 I'm going to work on that one. 10. Follow the directions of the movement leaders and of the captains on the demonstrations. People will say nonviolent resistance is a method of cowards. It is not. It takes more courage to stand there
Starting point is 01:52:46 when people are threatening you. It is more, because you're not necessarily the one who's going to win. You may lose, but you are standing up with courage for the ideas that you espouse. And the minute you engage in the kind of activity that the other side is engaging in, you discredit the movement. You discredit everything we believe in. I don't want to shut people up.
Starting point is 01:53:24 I want a rule of law. I want the people who did that to the Capitol last week. If they were involved in beating a police officer to death, or if they were defacing the Capitol, storming the Capitol, or going in trying to arrest people, I want them arrested. I want them to go have a free and fair trial. And if the jury says go to jail, they go to jail. I think that they deserve it.
Starting point is 01:53:55 But I'm not the judge and judge. jury. But I also think everyone who is involved in all of the mayhem from the summer should have gone to jail too. I want equal justice, not social justice. There is a huge difference, and you are seeing the difference right now. Social justice will silence some. Social justice will compel the president-elect to give a speech this week that he gave, where I will make sure that those who had to close their business or lost their job, if they're any color but white, we will help them. Now, he didn't say it that way. He said, we'll help the minorities, we'll help women. He specifically let off white men. That's an act of omission, not commission,
Starting point is 01:54:51 a sin of omission. I can't imagine what the world will say about me, if anything. I doubt I'm even a footnote in history. I have no idea what they'll say, but I learned, after getting my first real death threats, I don't care what the world says about me. I care about what God says about me, and I care about what my children say about me.
Starting point is 01:55:31 And let them say of me, I was one who believed in the sharing of the blessings that I have received. Those blessings include freedom. And I pray that in my heart, I will know when my days are through. That I can clearly say, America, I gave my best to you. Let me talk a little bit about AMAC. There are two battles going on.
Starting point is 01:56:13 One is political and one is spiritual. And the political battle is being fought by some really good groups that are not going to get you into trouble. They're not going to get you into, hey, let's march on the Capitol with a gun. Bad idea. The political fight needs to be thought strategically. And in a way you can win. And one group you can count on to help organize that is AMAC. It's like AARP, except it's not like AARP.
Starting point is 01:56:45 except it's not like AARP. Amac actually does the things that you need to ease the pain and cost of your life, but also they stand for the values, the constitutional conservative values that we all want to preserve. They represent courage and faith and reason. They stand for solvency in a time when we are just going to start printing money. Border security. sovereignty. They believe in the sanctity of life. And they have a full-time presence in Washington. And numbers don't talk. They scream. They need you to join and stand with them. I'm a member of
Starting point is 01:57:30 Amac. They'll fight the good fight. Become a member today. Join me. And millions of others. The benefits are great, but the cause is greater right now, amac, amac. dot us slash Beck. That's amac. dot us slash Beck. Tonight on Glenn TV. With Biden's inauguration just around the corner, who will really be running America? Glenn cracks open the secrets of Biden's cabinet nominees to reveal their corruption, their crony capitalism, and their marching orders to execute the Great Reset.
Starting point is 01:58:07 Watch Glenn expose Biden's cabinet secrets. Tonight, 9 p.m. Eastern, only at blazedtiv.com slash Glenn. We're just talking about the craziness that is happening in Washington. The president is eight days away from leaving office, and they are trying to impeach him. He will be now the only president to be impeached twice by Congress. Whether he's removed or not, I don't know. You can't make a common-sense pragmatist kind of, argument for he has eight days left you don't like what he did you can censure him that's that's
Starting point is 01:58:44 part of the rules that used to be a really bad thing now it's just kill him what's really bothersome about this is the FBI uh and all kinds of experts have all said this will only make tensions higher this will only make things much worse you are Eight days away. What are you doing? Eight days away. I mean, if he barricaded himself in the Oval Office, I would be all for the National Guard or the, you know,
Starting point is 01:59:22 military going in to remove him. He's not going to do that. This is about making sure he could never run again. This is what Banana Republics do. And you don't have to like what he did. But you also don't have to like what he did. But you also don't have to like what Liz Cheney is saying. But let's not remove her from office either.
Starting point is 01:59:44 Let's not try to destroy her life either. Liz Cheney has never been a fan of Donald Trump. This does not. It's like Mitt Romney coming out again. He's going to vote for impeachment? Shut up. Really? I mean, of course.
Starting point is 02:00:02 Of course. I pray for the president. And I pray for the incoming president. that everyone does the right thing and stops thinking about themselves and what they want to accomplish instead, do what's right for the republic. Do what's right for our union. I don't know how we unite. I really don't. If you're talking about re-education camps for my kids, because I supported Trump, if you're talking about driving people out of the marketplace,
Starting point is 02:00:41 because they supported Trump, I can't unite with you. I wouldn't unite with you if you were saying that, you know, anybody who supported Joe Biden needs to be drummed out. No. No. That's fascism. And I'll stand against that.
Starting point is 02:01:05 I'm not Antifa, but I am anti-fascist. I'm anti-totally. I'm anti-communist. Ask the Antifa group if they're anti-communist. Ah. You know, who started the Reichstag fire were the anti-fascists. The ones who Antifa came out of.
Starting point is 02:01:32 They were also pro-communist. That's why they were against the fascists. Ask them, are you pro-communism? pro totalitarianism or are you for the Bill of Rights as it stands you'll know quickly well you know them through their actions this is the glenback program
