So today we did a lot of open phones, and I have to tell you, the first question was the most honest and tough question to present to me, especially if you're a fan, which I think this guy was. He took me to the woodshed. He said, I feel like this is the first time that you have lied to me or failed to me or just sold out. And I don't understand. And it all stems from me having Steve Bannon on the program on Tuesday to talk about. Iran and we had a great conversation. I explained that and I think it's really important that you understand because both Steve and I, we disagree on a lot of stuff, we both think that examples need to be made because we're starting to tear each other apart and I go into that. It's really an important thing. Also a woman from Canada who was running a hospice house and the government didn't just shut her down after they passed made.

They took the property. They took her building that they raised and bought $8.5 million to build this thing. Just took it. And they're out. What does this mean? Fascism in Canada. And all of the Supreme Court rulings today, we break down some of the big wins for parents and kids and some of the losses

You can't be calm about this. I'm a black man in America. The reason why a heart disease... Listen to what I'm saying. The reason why heart disease and cancer and obesity and diabetes are bigger in the black community, is because of the stress we carry from having to deal with being called the end word

directly or indirectly every day. If your colleagues would listen and try to learn and engage and grow and stop being so painful, we could have a better country. But unfortunately, we're still here. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I may not be strong enough. Last night, I had to do a fundraiser.

I was honored to help with a fundraiser. razor. And I didn't get back until about midnight last night. I get up at 4 a.m. And I didn't go directly to sleep. So I'm operating on the hours that Trump usually gets, except I'm not Donald Trump. I like my CPPs. So I might be a little short-tempered today. But I will tell you, I, relate. I relate to the man who pulled the fire alarm. I do. I do. No, I do. I relate to him. Nobody holds anybody accountable anymore for anything, especially white people. You know, and he says they have higher rates of obesity and heart disease and cancer and diabetes from the stress they carry African Americans from having to deal with being called the N-word directly or indirectly

every day. And I think it's the indirectly that we usually dismiss. And I know, I've been fat for a long time, out of shape for a long time. And a lot of people would say, Glenn, that's your fault, you fat, fat, fatty. You know what you do? You just can't put the cake down. You just refuse to exercise. No, no, no. No, I won't hear your racism anymore. Okay? I am riddled with skin cancer. Now, some people would say, Glenn, that's because you were born in exactly the right place. You were born in Seattle, Washington, where nobody ever sees the sun ever. But you decided to move to Phoenix and you then moved to Texas and you just decide to just roast every day. The minute you walk out, you turn into a lobster.

No, no, I won't hear it, you bigot. I don't have skin cancer because of that. I'm not fat because of cake. It is the stress that I have to deal with every single day because of people like Jamal Bowman who insist on calling me a racist or a sexist or anti-Semitic or Islamophobic. I can't forget that one even out. Gating weight just thinking about it.

Homophobic, transphobic, every day directly and indomboic. I'm called these names. I mean, listen. Can you hear I'm getting fatter by the second? Can you hear that I have... Sorry, I thought I was having a heart attack there for a second because... I was called bad names. Sticks and stones may break your bones, my mother told me, but names will never hurt you.

She doesn't know these names that I have been called directly and in... indirectly for years. Sure, it may not break my bones, but I'm, they carve my face up all the time because of the skin cancer caused by people calling me anti-Semitic and strangely Islamophobic, usually at the same time. And my face just starts to bubble up like it's just one giant petri dish of cancer. You know, you don't have any idea. You don't have any idea.

The trouble Jamal Bowman has, would you listen, please? Stop dismissing him. You have no idea what people like him go through. May I just say? May I just say, and this is not Christ liked for me to say, so I probably shouldn't say. But I'm going to say, making a decision. I'm going to go to hell for this, probably. You know, Kamala's stepdaughter, you know, the really ugly one.

I'm sorry, did she just gain five pounds because I said that? I'm sorry, I didn't call you fat, sweetheart. It just called you ugly. Anyway, I need you to hear about her trauma. Cut seven. You know, I'm feeling a little trauma walking to the same polling station that I did to vote for Kamala. And, you know, I'm just feeling a lot of hope right now. We did it.

I'm feeling a huge mix of emotions. I'm really nervous, but I'm also so hopeful. It's been so spectacular. seeing New York come together in this way and rally behind Zoran and yeah let's do with this guys she is so traumatized she is so traumatized and I understand that sweetheart my parents embarrassed me not is not to the extent that your parents have embarrassed you that loss was I mean the whole campaign I could see you could be crippled in bed with the shame that came with Oh, no, it's because you voted for her and then she lost.

Yeah, I don't really don't have any sympathy for you. You know how many times I've wanted things and it didn't work out? And, you know, I really don't use the word triggered because I think that's for and I also really don't use the word traumatized. I mean, unless if you were a hostage, okay, you know, I was in a Liam Neeson movie and he made me leave I was actually a hostage and I had to wait an hour and a half before he came in and rescued me. I understand your trauma. Then I understand your trauma. I understand trauma. You know, I was at war. Okay. Your trauma? Your trauma? I'm experiencing a lot of trauma because I had to go in, I'm just a

triggering event. I had to go in and vote and now I got to go in and vote there again. Oh, my. Oh, my. How do you walk? How do you do it? You're so brave. You are just, no, seriously, you're so very brave. Now, I might be traumatizing you again because I'm, of course, a racist, sexist, sexist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, transphobic, and Islamophobic, fat, fat, fatty, riddled with skin cancer. So, there you go.

I just wanted to start the show just getting that off my chest because it's, you know, it's Friday. And we just can't, we can't carry these things around. We can't carry these things around. Now, John in Ohio was traumatized. And I want to start with his phone call because he's making a very good point legitimately. He's making a very good point. John in Ohio, welcome to the program. Hi, Glenn.

My question is that this has been a weird week listening to you because for years you've been warning us about traditional. And you've used Bannon as an example. I remember watching one of your one-on-one podcast with a guy who wrote books about traditionalism and how it could infiltrate American churches in Bannon. And then you, so you've warned us about this kind of level of deception and use Bannon as an example. And then you had him on the show this week. And this is the first time listening to you where I really felt that it's bordered on, wait, our time or not really being completely honest with the audience or doing it about-faced. So I want to know what changed and why.

Good for you. John, this is the best question I have had in a very long time. And it is my fault that you feel confused because I think I mentioned it the next day. And I should have started with this. Steve Bannon and I disagree on an awful lot of things. you as a smart listener and one who has been loyal for a long time have heard me warn about Steve Bannon and I have a lot of things to talk about with Steve Bannon and his friend in Russia is one of those things. However, and this is what I should have started the conversation with,

exactly what I just said to you, and then this, however, we are now eating each other alive. Do you notice the time that I had him on. It was during the week when we have Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz tearing each other apart. When we have our conservatives killing each other. And while I do believe that Steve plays a role in traditionalism, et cetera, et cetera, and that is extraordinarily dangerous, I also, and my fault, my problem was not pointing that out to you when I had him on and saying, I still believe those things. However, what I think is important today is to demonstrate that two people who strongly disagree with each other on certain things

both understand we cannot continue to separate ourselves. I believe that this is not done just by people who disagree with themselves and you're like, you know what? I'm going to take on Ted Cruz. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to take on Tucker Carlson. I don't agree with either one of those at times. And I like both of those guys at times. And I have pretty strong opinions on both of them that might surprise you. However, when I saw that, when I saw Elon Musk and Donald Trump take each other on, I thought to myself, that's the end of the Republic. That's the end of the Republic. When I see Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz take each other on like that, that's the end of the Republic. Because if we continue to divide ourselves to a place to where we can't have a conversation,

it's you're all of this or you're all of that, then we are doomed. We are doomed. So what I should have said, and I don't know if it would have made it better for you, but what I should have said was, here is a guy I have real disagreements on, and I have talked about for a very long time. And I'm having him on this week because we must begin to have conversations. And off the air, Steve and I have had very difficult conversations. I met with him. Jason, were you with me when I met with him the first time? How long ago was that a year ago?

About a year ago. About a year ago. And I met with him. and had a uncomfortable private conversation, the two of us. And it was at that time that both of us said, this is what we do believe is coming. We do agree on this, that really, really tough times are coming. And we have got to not eat each other alive.

That doesn't mean we can't point out the differences and the strong differences. But if we can't make allies on our own side, while pointing out the truth, we're in trouble. And so I'm sorry for the confusion on that. I'm glad you brought this up because it bothered me, because I got off the air yesterday, and somebody wrote to me and said,

Glenn, I don't understand. And I wish I would have done it differently. I just didn't occur to me. Sometimes I just think, you're in my head. and you know, but as my wife tells me all the time, no, we didn't have that conversation, Glenn. No, we didn't have that conversation. So, sorry to do to you what I apparently do to my wife all the time.

Today we're taking your phone calls 8 at 8-8-727BCK, and I have to tell you, started the show today about an hour and a half ago. with one of the best, smartest, most difficult questions coming from a listener that had to be tough because it was an uncomfortable question to ask me. And I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

It's one of the best questions that we have received. And it called me out. And I really appreciate it. If you missed it, go back and listen to the podcast today. But we're going to take your phone calls as well. And there's nothing out of line. You can ask me anything that you want. And as this guy did, he rightfully called me out on something.

Let me take you to Canada for just a second. And I want to, this is, this is a story that happened a while ago, but I want to just show you the dangers of public-private partnerships. You're hearing this all the time. And every time Joe Biden would say public-private partnership, and it was all the Green New Deal and everything else, I kept saying you, that is fascism. That is exactly the deal that Mussolini and Hitler made.

That's the difference between communism and fascism. They let you do your own thing, but you're a partner with the government. And as long as you abide by all of their rules, you're fine. But the minute you disagree, you don't have a say. They'll throw you out on the streets so fast your head will spin. And that is exactly what happened to a hospice center. the Delta Hospice Society. I have the executive director on, Angelina Ireland,

and I asked her to come on today to tell us the story of what happened to her hospice facility. Angelina, thank you for joining me. Hello there, Glenn. Thank you so much for having me today. You bad, you bad. Okay, so you, the Hospice Society is, a public-private partnership with Canada, but you guys raised, what, $8.5 million to build this property and you negotiated a 25- or 35-year lease for the property, right? Tell me about this.

Right. So actually, we're a private society. So we're a 34-year palliative care organization. And palliative care is basically you take care of people when they're chronically ill or they're terminally ill and you take care of them well until their natural end. And so we fundraised over a couple, a few years, $8 million to open a hospice and a palliative care support center next door. And so we raised that money. We got a 35-year land lease with the public health authority. We built two buildings, a 10-bed hospice, a 7,500 square foot supportive care center, where we did our counseling and all the supportive programs.

And then the service agreement was for operating. costs. So every year they'd give us, when it ended, well, $1.4 million. And when we built those buildings, we opened them, and we operated our program with the hospice for 10 years. Everything went fine until this thing they call, the state euthanasia program called Maid, right, came into law. And then the province basically came to us and said, you're going to have to start providing euthanasia. You're going to have to going to start killing your patients in the hospice because you're getting, you're getting public money, right? We said absolutely not. We absolutely will not. At which point, you're exactly right.

The fascism kicked in, I just call it stone cold communism, and said, you're not going to get any money if you don't start killing your patients. So then they canceled that service agreement, in which we said, that's fine. Look, we don't need your money. We'll be fine without your money. which apparently is the wrong answer. Because then they... Yeah. So then they went after the lease. And we had 25 years left on that land lease, and they cancelled it.

And now these incidentals, like the buildings on them, they just consider those to be like some kind of an old shack or fence, and they expropriated them. So at the end of the day, they evicted us, the organization from our buildings, They expropriated those assets, which were valued $8.5 million, kicked us out and took this. And then they started to operate our hospice, and they put in the euthanasia. Unbelievable. They give you no money for the buildings. I mean, it was their land, right?

I mean, that's kind of the public-private partnership. You're taking money from them to run it. But you said to them, we don't need it. But also that was, was that not federal land that you were on or some sort of medical kind of weirdness of Canada? Yes. Well, it was, which considered to be, well, it belonged to the health authority, but it was a registered lease in the title's office with 25 years left. Right. So, you know, we had right to be there.

Right. And, of course, to continue on for the other 25 years. But of course, no, they didn't allow it. When you went to the court, what did court say? Well, you see, we didn't get that far because we went to three very, very prominent lawyers. And they told us straight up, you're not going to win. You understand this, people. You might walk in with one lawyer.

They're going to walk in with 15 lawyers, all. funded by the taxpayer. And you may win the first round, but you will not win, and they'll tie it up, and it's called lawfare. So they advised us again and again and again to just move on, take our punches, take the licking from the government, and move on. The important thing for us was to hold on to our organization, because then the euthanasia activist came for us to try to take everything, and we still have assets, but

we did lose our bricks and mortar in the moment. That is crazy. You know, I have described what's happening all around the world with the extreme left, with Islamists, not Muslims, Islamists. What is happening with the communist and the fascist is a death cult. It all seems to revolve around death, and they take glee. death. And Canada is shockingly, in many ways, leading the way on this with Maid. You don't even know how many people are killed now with Maid a year, do you? No, we don't. We do not. I call it a

culling. It's a Canadian cull. They're killing the sick, the old, the mentally ill, the disabled, veterans, homeless, the poor, and now they're going after the children. We do not know the numbers that exactly, I mean, the government is admitting to 60,000, there's absolutely no way at 60,000. I think they forgot a zero. It's widespread. It is now considered a health care option when the doctor comes to a sick and vulnerable patient and said, how is like just to die? So it's got completely out of hand. It's truly a national horror for Canadians, for certainly people. people of faith in my country, pro-life for my country, that we have no control over this. We have no access to authentic true numbers and information.

And this whole consortium that I call Empire Made has taken over the health care system. What is the, what's the goal of this, do you think? What's really behind it? Certainly. know, they want to talk about, they've captured the moral high ground on this, right, and said, if you want to be compassionate, you're going to have to start to kill people. That's the only way to be compassionate. That's the only way to provide human rights.

And so that very potent message, they've been able to, you know, roll into a narrative, which is incredibly, you know, hard. The word is like, escapes me. It's overwhelming for people, right? But why? I mean, listen. Our public health care system, which is what happens with any government goes completely public and we have no private available. It is illegal.

It's bankrupt. We have... Hold on just a second. Hold on. I want Americans to hear this. Private health care, being a doctor and providing private health care is illegal in Canada. Yes, it is. The only thing you can do is have cosmetic things done privately.

That's it. You know, we want a boob job or a nose job. You can go ahead, get a doctor, and pay for it. Everything else is under the Canada Health Act. It must be administered through the state, period. It's even gone up to the Supreme Court of Canada. So this is undisputable. Public health, private health care is illegal.

You know, I look at, we have several states that are now trying to pass much of this, and they are in the laws that are being passed, it is it is uh it's a requirement not to put assisted suicide down on the death so you have cancer but you didn't die of cancer you had cancer you have depression and the doctor said well you can kill yourself over there it does not say assisted suicide it is going to be illegal to put that on the death certificates it just has to say uh depression uh can't answer, whatever it is that they helped you kill yourself over, that's what the cause of death is. So you'll never, ever be able to count it.

You'll never be able to track it. It is just evil, evil what's happening. It's true. And, you know, how many people will be killed by the state? That is going to be the question. You will never know that you're giving far too much power to the state, unaccountable. Unquestionable. Are you shocked at the, because I am here in America.

I mean, we just, New York just voted for an Islamist who is saying, you know, he is for Hamas. He is also a communist. And they just elected him or, you know, chose him as the Democratic candidate. And nobody really seems to care. When it comes to death all over, when you're seeing these things happen, I am shocked by my own citizens. Do you feel that way in Canada? Well, I personally am not shocked because I know that the only thing that the socialists and the communists ever did well with kill people. This should not come as a shock to anyone.

The short-sightedness, unfortunately, of the people is that they tend to get rewarded in the short term. They give them stuff, money, a benefit. It's only crumbs. Ultimately, it is going to be at their literal demise to allow this kind of philosophy, political ideology, to come into your country. Are you hopeful for the future, Angelina? You know, I love my country.

To be honest with you, I am not. I am not. We have seen in my country an overwhelming immigration that has come in. We're talking about millions of people in a very short time that has literally destroyed our infrastructure, brought the health care system to its knees.

A lot of people in my country don't even have a family doctor. They can't find a family doctor. They have to wait for months upon years for the simplest of procedures, and it isn't getting any better. So, you know, I pray, because of course I am a person of faith. I'm an unapologetic Christian.

This is again is very unpopular in my country, but only God will be able to help us. Thank you for ending it that way. Angelina, I appreciate it. Thank you for standing up and being vocal and letting people

And Jason, you've been watching this over the last hour, so I want to make sure that I have this right. But the first one has come out in favor of Donald Trump. And this impact on this one is really, really high. This one is so important.

the Supreme Court has decided that they will limit to the federal court's ability to issue any kind of sweeping injunction, which now also signals an openness to restricting birthright citizenship and reshaping of immigration law. This stops the power of the judges to block executive actions nationally. and this is important for structural implications and for immigration, but also mainly for separations of power. Do I have that one right, Jason, on their ruling? That's correct. We still don't really have a definitive answer on birthright citizenship, but the thing that most people are pissed off right now about is an imperial judiciary, and that's what this strikes at the heart of.

Correct. And that's really important. That's struck that. that down. So that madness is going to end. Now the next one is Kennedy versus Braedwood Management. And this was the case about the structure of a task force with the power under the Affordable Care Act to determine which preventative services

insurers have to cover it. The vote now is six to three and that holds that members of the task force do not need to be appointed by the president or confirmed by the Senate. The majority opinion is by Justice Kavanaugh, who writes, Task Force members are inferior officers whose appointment by the Secretary of HHS is consistent with the appointment's clause.

The task force members can be removed at will by the Secretary of HHS, and the recommendation about preventative services are reviewable by the Secretary before they take effect. Justice Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch dissented. which is never really a good thing. This one is probably the second most impactful ruling. And what they did is they sided with the government, which preserves all of the current health care mandates and agency design under HHS.

This will affect millions of people, your insurance coverage and executive. agency oversight. Not good. No, and can I say, Glenn, how crazy it is that you just had Angelina Ireland on talking about how nutso the Canadian system is, especially when you get just crazed activists in charge of something this important. So basically what this means is, is that unelected bureaucrats can still be calling the shots on things that are as important as the health care and the livelihood of your families. This is such a huge miss.

Oh, my gosh. Okay, so let me give you the next one. This is the FCC versus consumer research, and we're really going in order of importance. And so far we have one in our favor, one in the favor of the left. The FCC versus consumer research. Now, this is all about,

delegation of power, and the impact on this one is very high for all of us. The consequence of siding with consumers' research, it will limit the federal agency's ability to delegate power to private actors. It could disrupt broadband subsidies and rural internet expansion. The consequence of siding with the FCC would uphold the longstanding infrastructure funding model and reaffirm the administrative delegation. It's massive implications for rural communities and the federal power to administer national programs. Here's how they came down on it on decision number three. The vote is six to three.

It's not going to make you happy with a majority opinion by Justice Kagan. And the court holds that the funding structure does not violate the non-delegation doctrine. Again, Gorsuch, Thomas, and Alito were dissenting. on that one. Yeah, I mean, this is, I mean, it's, it's cloaked in, you know, this broadband service, you know, to rural communities. But what this is really about is, you know, scaling back or advancing the administrative state. And the way they've ruled on this, it does nothing to scale back the administrative state.

The administrative state marches forward with this, which is very. And kind of with the last one, too. Yes. Yes. Yes, the last two, basically about the same thing. Okay, so we have four rulings today. One is in our favor. Two are not in our favor.

And those are about the power of the federal government just to continue to grow. Now, the next one is Mahmood versus Taylor. And this one is all about LGBTQ curriculum in schools. And do you, do parents have a right to say no? if they side with the parents that could force public schools to allow opt-outs from any LGBTQ-related content, and it will reshape the school policy nationwide, if they sided with the school district, it expands state authority to teach inclusion topics over all religious objections. So this one will impact cultural and educational institutions,

especially in any kind of diverse or religious community. So we are hoping that they side with the parents. And here's what they decided. The vote was 6.3. Majority opinion by Alito. The court holds that the families are likely to succeed and are entitled to a preliminary injunction from Alito's opinion, we have long recognized the rights of parents to direct the religious upbringing of their children,

and we have held that those rights are violated by government policies that substantially interfere with the religious development of children. The senting Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson. Look at the damage that has been done. by appointing Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson. We, Donald Trump has got to get another person on the Supreme Court. We have got to have a young Clarence Thomas. We have to have somebody who is just dirt strong on the Constitution.

I hope would be, I mean, there's a couple of people. I get into that maybe next week, but there's a couple of people that I think should be justices, and I would hope that we could get these names to the president if it happens and he'll move in these directions. There's a couple of people that I really feel strongly would be fantastic. And one of them you may not, you may not even be aware of. So it's a mixed bag today.

Two on the state growing and two in the opposite direction. One, the presidency is not a king, but neither is the federal court system. So the federal court can't say, well, he's being fascistic by saying, you know, he's issuing this executive order. he doesn't have a right to do that. And so a federal judge by themselves can stop and overturn the president and his executive order. That can't happen. Whether that's going to stop anything, I don't know. But the Supreme Court, thank God, has come down right on that one.

The other one that is really good is you now will have to have an opt-out, no matter where your kids go to school. if they're teaching your kids crap that disagrees with your religion, you can have the opt-out because that was the real secret here. They were not allowing parents to opt-out. They weren't notifying or allowing them a chance to opt-out. No matter what they were teaching, your kid had to go and listen to it. And that is, to me, the parental right thing is probably the biggest one out of all of these for me. because I think if we lose control of our ability to parent and raise our children the way we want,

we are living in a fascist society. And so that's, I think, good news, really good news. So there's a couple more, I think, that are yet to come out, right? The Free Speech Coalition versus Paxton, which is the online verification of speech, and the redistricting and racial gerrymandering, which is Louisiana versus, is it Calais, those two have not come out. They come out maybe tomorrow.

We just got the Free Speech Coalition versus Paxton. It's a, okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, hang on. So, Paxton, who is the AG of Texas, he's saying states can require age verification for adult content. and that will reshape online privacy and access norms. If you're selling, you know, pornography or whatever, states can say you have to have an access portal that is real for anybody under 18.

States can make those laws. The other side, the Free Speech Coalition, is siding for the adult industry. And they say, no, it should be anonymous online access. it's a free speech right, especially for adults, but you can't do this. I mean, this is, if Paxton doesn't win this one, this is really bad child protection is greatly weakened online. How did they decide? Do you want to take a guess on what the vote was based off of the-6-3?

6-3. This is insane. But the court-up. They went with Paxon. Texas age verification law. Yes. Oh, thank God. I know.

This is really a good day for our children. Really, really a good day for our children. Not necessarily good for the size of the government, but really good for parents and children. So thank God. Thank God. And also deportation. You know, we may be able to see a little speed taken now because of the Supreme Court rulings today. Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-a-na-ha...
