Starting point is 00:00:02 Hey, on today's podcast, I'm going to try to give you everything you need to know about France. Is France our future? Also, we talked to somebody over in France. She knows it quite well. She lives there. She is actually a senior envoy for Europe for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. She lays it all out on what's really happening. And then, Data Republican, the left's doomsday scenario, what is actually coming here in
Starting point is 00:00:31 America. It all ties together on today's podcast. You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program. Hello, America. Welcome to Monday. I want to continue our conversation here about what's happening in France, but it is not really about France. This is about you and me and the coming election, because we are going down exactly the same route. So I want you to look at who's cheering and who's winning from this, okay? Who wins from what's happening in France and who's cheering? Iran, remember, the regime that crushed its own protest in January,
Starting point is 00:01:28 summoned the ambassador to Iran from France to lecture Paris on human rights. You can't treat protesters. You just killed 40,000 in the street. and you're lecturing France on human rights? Yes. So France fires back accusing Tehran of a disinformation campaign aimed at the student movement. Do you think France? I mean, here's the problem.
Starting point is 00:02:00 Everybody is making mistakes in this. There is no one that actually has clean hands on this. No one. Palestinian flags are in the crowd. Climate activists are marching with the unions now. union said today they're going to double their efforts in this. Okay. So who is really, who's really pushing for a calmer, stronger, richer France?
Starting point is 00:02:32 Is it the unions that are demanding that they don't sign this, this budget tomorrow? Is that who's doing it? Is it the activists who are burning the streets down? Is it the climate activists who say gasoline and diesel is too expensive and electricity is too expensive? You were the guys who shut down the refineries. You were the guys that shut down the power plants. You know, let me ask you this. When a shop goes up in flames, who gets stronger?
Starting point is 00:03:09 Who gets stronger? If this is about the classrooms, why are you burning down City Hall? I don't understand that. Now, look at the calendar. You look at the calendar. France elects a new president next spring. Marine Le Pen, the national rally, holds the lead in almost every poll.
Starting point is 00:03:31 And her opponents have called her fascist. We just were talking about this. Running in second place is Jean-Luc Melashan. He's a hard left guy who has praised Hugo Chavez. and called for Europe Central Bank to just cancel the debt it holds. It can't happen that way. You don't just cancel debt. No country can do that.
Starting point is 00:03:58 If you cancel debt that you owe, who lends to you next year? And by the way, who ends up paying for that? Okay, so I want you to think about this. And again, understand, I'm not just telling you about France. I'm telling you about America. the coming election here. Think like a chess player. Just try to think a few moves ahead. The streets burn. Order has to be resolved, right? Has to be restored. It has to, everything has to come. So what takes place? Well, you're going to have to have more police. Maybe soldiers, maybe curfews.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Now, the moment the state puts the helmets on, what's the headline? Come on. What's the headline? Come on. What's the headline? Fascism. Iran is already writing that script this weekend calling, I saw a very little lack of response, a total lack of response from the police. But they were already saying this is fascists. This is the oldest trap there is. You light the fire, then you photograph the fireman kicking in the door and you call him the violent one. and if he doesn't put it out, then the building burns. If he does, he's a monster. Either way, whoever lit the match wins. Now watch what the fire does to the vote.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Every burning car is an ad for who? The leftist? Or Marine Le Pen? Right? Every line of riot police is an ad for who? Rene Le Pen or the Marxist. The extremes feed each other and the middle starves. So the question isn't whether France restores order.
Starting point is 00:05:51 It has to. The question is whether it happens under law in daylight with limits so the word never sticks, even though all of the enemies of France, all of them, are going to try to turn that into fascism. And what's the street demanding? Union wants higher wages, higher pensions, lower prices, more public services, more, more, more, more. Been here before. You know, after the war, France didn't always suck. After the war, the French call those years the glorious 30 because they built highways, they built nuclear power plants, they built the Concord. When oil, when the the oil shock hit in 1973, they didn't riot. They launched a crash plan to go nuclear. And within a
Starting point is 00:06:51 generation, most of its electricity came from the atom. It was the safest nuclear system in the world. Well, what happens? Cheap, steady power. Yes, it had socialized medicine. But it was a nation that paid its way. 1974 matters for another reason. It's the last year France balanced its budget, 1983, 1984. In 1981, they elected a socialist president who brought communists into his cabinet. They nationalized the banks and big industry, and they cut the retirement age to 60. They shortened the work week. They added a fifth week of paid vacation. Within two years, the money ran short. Same government slammed on the brakes. This is what happened in Sweden. Sweden was going down the same road.
Starting point is 00:07:37 and Sweden in the 1970s at the end turned around and went the other way. That is a capitalist country now. That's not a socialist. They still have, you know, healthcare and everything else, but their government invested their sovereign fund into their own companies. They are very capitalistic. But in France, the habit stuck. Later, a government of left, communists included, cut the work week.
Starting point is 00:08:07 to 35 hours. Now think this through. France's debt is headed past 119% of everything the country produces in a year. They spend 119% of that. The borrowing costs are the highest in 20 years, not balanced the budget in nearly half a century, and the crowd still is screaming for more. Then there are the climate activists marching against the cost of living, which means the cost of fuel, which is what they caused.
Starting point is 00:08:37 light the fire, then be celebrated as the firemen who come back in to put the fire out, but you're only making the fire worse. Think of the country's refineries and the power plants. Those were the shock absorbers. You're driving a giant truck. You're on a smooth road. You never notice your shock absorbers until you hit a pothole. You know, a war with Iran, the strait closed, Russian refineries on fire.
Starting point is 00:09:02 That's the pothole. And for years, the climate movement pushed to pull all of the, shock absorbers out. And so they shrunk the nuclear power, shut the oldest plant in 2020. They got nothing. Two of its biggest refiner is returning to green fuel plants. Even Macron has a reversed course on the ordered new reactors. But reactors take more than a decade to build. So now the truck is hitting the pothole and people who pulled the shocks are in the street complaining about it's a bumpy ride. Well, of course it is. You pulled the shock absorbers. Let me bring it here.
Starting point is 00:09:43 We're not short on oil. You hear me? We're not short on oil. We're short on refining. We haven't built a new refinery since the 1970s. In the last year, California shut two of its refineries down, cutting the state's capacity by 17%. Gee, California, you wonder why your gas is so high. you cut 17% of your own production last year. You have the toughest regulations on the continent.
Starting point is 00:10:17 So when the people who wrote those rules promised to bring your fuel prices down, ask them with what? How? What policy have you changed? See, we are going in right now. We are having a problem in Europe. And I don't care what the media says. This is a red-green alliance.
Starting point is 00:10:37 This is Marxist and Islamists. That's what this is. And that's what's happening in our own country. You're seeing it. Try not to get mad at the people I know that continue to tell me the same thing that this is not real. That you're a bigot for... You're not a bigot. You're awake.
Starting point is 00:11:03 You're awake. Well, it can't be Marxist. What do you mean can't be Marxist? Have you noticed the DSA? Do you even know what it is? This is bigger than a bad weekend in Paris. Gang, this, I fear, is the beginning of what I have been talking about since 2008. Great, God, I'm wrong.
Starting point is 00:11:40 France is Europe's second largest economy chained to the others by a shared currency. If France decides markets are the enemy and debt doesn't matter, it doesn't fall alone. The rest of Europe will have to decide whether to catch it or cut the rope. and if they cut the rope then it's chaos in France and that spreads. If they don't cut the rope, then it's chaos in all of Europe. I mean, it's chaos either way. It's already reaching England. It's being planted in Canada.
Starting point is 00:12:13 It's in your town. Watch for the pattern. You elect Marxists, Socialists, you open up your borders, you start to ignore, clear warning signs. You start to look at our enemies and say, we have to be friends with our enemies. We have to say, no, no, Islamists are not a problem. No, you're reading too much in. When the world is on fire. And then a debt, the country can't pay. And leaders promising more anyway. Energy the country could make but chooses not to. Closing of refineries. Adding solar panels
Starting point is 00:13:01 to everything. A middle that is emptying out, leaving voters between the choice between two of the angriest voices in the room and foreign regimes cheering the chaos. Russia is happy today. China is happy today because the street has learned that fire gets attention. And when you see them all at once, when you see all of these things happening at once right around election time, you're not watching a protest. You're watching a show. You're watching a country decide whether it still believes in building anything. This is the question we all have to end.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Do you believe in America anymore? People who stop building start blaming, and countries are no different. And we don't answer this by shouting back. We answer it by asking every time. somebody promises something with what how are you going to pay for it who builds it who fails if it fails who wins if it fails we start looking at the real hard things to look at the stuff that we've ignored forever the connections to the Muslim Brotherhood the connections to
Starting point is 00:14:29 Marxists and Communists. And then you go out and you vote like an adult. Time is up. I have said for 20 years, the time is coming where time will be up. I have said for 25 years, we're going to reach a time. Time is up. It is now time to grow up right now. Face it.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Look at it. Be a part of the solution. or I guarantee you will be part of America's suicide. More than a minute. This is the best of the Glenn Beck program. You know, there's a certain kind of confidence that only parents have. You can walk into a bedroom, you can take one look at your kid and go, yeah, he's getting sick. You don't need a thermometer.
Starting point is 00:15:22 You don't need a doctor. You just know, right? Unfortunately, knowing they're about to get sick is the easy part. The hard part is discovering that half the town has the same bug. The pharmacy is out of the medication. need. And now you're driving all over town hoping somebody has it in stock. That's why I advise you prepare before the first cough starts. The kids case from Jace Medical provides physician prescribed emergency medications and antibiotics designed specifically for your children. And you can also include
Starting point is 00:15:51 essentials like albuterol, epipins, zyrtec. So when a school germ makes their annual appearance, you're not scrambling to find out, you know what your family needs. You already have it. And having it when you need it, when the time comes, gives you true peace of mind. Go to jace.com, use a promo code Beckett. Check out, get a discount on your order. Starting point is 00:16:31 You're actually pretty, pretty close. Actually, it's exactly this. The first time didn't really work. No. No, thank you. Okay. Simone, thank you for joining me again. I appreciate it. I want to talk to you about what is happening. Where are you in France? I'm in Paris. You're in Paris. Some people are saying it's not this big of a deal. It's not as bad as it looks. Is it or isn't it? It is pretty bad. And it is very much, I would say, as bad as it looks. It's probably worse than it looks. I would even argue.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Listen, last time we spoke, you know, we heard we had the initial violence that were happening already in the school protests. What we are currently seeing has nothing to do with the school protests anymore. Actually, I'm thinking about these poor students, some of whom had very concrete concerns. They have been robbed of their cause within a couple of weeks. What we are seen currently is really an attempt by different forces, political actors, forces from within the radical far left and the anti-Fa movement, Islamist forces, external actors who are trying to bring down the country and the state. Let's not forget that France is already in a pretty bad economical state. and they hope that this will be the last thing that will possibly, you know, bring us over the edge. And this is really, I think, what we're doing.
Starting point is 00:18:13 So I said earlier today that this is not a coincidence that this is all now really ratcheting up. When tomorrow you're supposed to vote on a new budget. And if that budget falls through, France is in real trouble with the Europeans and Bank and the rest of Europe, correct? Correct. Listen, France, just for you to understand, we have a 5.4% deficit. We have 120% debt. We are currently the third most indebted country in Europe.
Starting point is 00:18:51 All of the reforms that this current government has tried to put into place, including, you know, the retirement age, pushing the retirement age by a couple of years. have failed. And so, yes, we are in very, very deep trouble. People are talking about a potential, you know, Greek situation. Talking back to, you know, when Greece was put under the IMF, we are in very, very big trouble. So when I was there over the summer, I was so funny because I'm not funny, but sad, I was with my family and we went over to Paris. We spent a couple of weeks and we just, we just absolutely loved it. But it was so peaceful and everyone I asked, hey, you know, are you seeing problems on the street? No, no, no, no. And everyone said, that's just the media hype,
Starting point is 00:19:45 etc., etc. When you are in a country that is having the kinds of debt problems that you're having, this is all about the price of fuel, the price of, you know, clothing, housing, everything. And the government has got to cut its budget, but when the people don't recognize it, they just seem to think that this can go on forever. How do you solve this? You're absolutely spot on, I think. You know, I think generally the French people, but I would say most people in general are in a state of denial. It's sort of a mix of state of denial and, you know, sometimes sort of an idea of, you know, apocalypse and the end of everything. But generally, it's a state of denial. Listen, when you are in Paris, when you're in a nice neighborhood,
Starting point is 00:20:33 everything is beautiful. It's all good. But the reality is very different. And the reality is that there are people within this country who have a very hard time, you know, paying their rent, who have a very hard time, you know, paying their fuel. And let's not forget, we have war in our continent. You know, Ukraine is not so far away. We're paying for Ukraine every single year. gas prices have gone up. And so, yeah, but people are in a state of denial, have not realized that things, that the decades that we have gone through, where, you know, we had prosperity, where our children would usually do better than their parents, all of this is we're coming to an end. And I don't know what it will take. Maybe this will be a wake-up call, even though I have my doubts.
Starting point is 00:21:25 but I don't know what it really needs, what it will take for people to wake up and smell the roses, frankly. So explain to the American public the choices that you're going to face at the polls because, you know, the way the press, you know, if it's consistent,
Starting point is 00:21:45 the way the press will show these two is one is on the left, but, you know, more reasonable with the unions, and everything. But he's actually very closely, if not a communist that says we're not paying our debt back, which is insanity. And then you'll have on the right what everybody will say is
Starting point is 00:22:07 fascism, and that's Marine Le Pen. What is the truth of the two? And how is this going to play out? Because I would think law and order with Le Pen would be the winning hand, at least today. So listen, first of all, we used to have a two-party system, like a little bit like in the US, that's gone. We have an extreme polarization. All of the the two parties that have run France for frankly decades,
Starting point is 00:22:36 you know, the socialist party and the Republican Party, which are more or less the equivalent of the Democratic Party, maybe the left of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, they're gone. The only thing that, I mean, what we do mostly now have is different parties and then two blocks on the right and on the left, Marine Le Pen, as you just mentioned, and on the left, Jean-Luc Melanchon, the far-left, the unbowed party, which is the equivalent of the DSA, I would say.
Starting point is 00:23:06 The problem that we have is that Jean-Luc Melanchon has exactly the same objective as Marine Le Pen. Jean-Luc Melanchon wants Marine Le Pen to be in the second round. of the presidential elections. Now, that sort of sounds counterintuitive, but why does he want this? It's because he believes it's a win-win game for him. If he will make it to the second round of the presidential elections,
Starting point is 00:23:38 and Marine Le Pen will as well, he will be able to construct this idea that indeed he is the anti-fascist candidate. And, you know, who knows? Maybe in that case he could win. if he doesn't, he still has won because it would mean that he will be the only opposition figure to Marine Le Pen. And he will actually have really killed all of the other parties, Macron's parties,
Starting point is 00:24:06 the socialist parties, the Republican Party, who are sort of our governing parties, reasonable parties. He will have killed him because he will be the only opposition figure to Marine Le Pen. So the problem that we're currently seeing is that, This is also why he has pushed these demonstrations so much. He wants violence. He wants confrontation. He wants the revolution because he wants to find himself in the position to be confronting Marine Le Pen
Starting point is 00:24:35 in the best case scenario who win in the worst case scenario. Well, he will be the only opposition. So that doesn't sound good. I mean, it sounds like more of the same coming for France. Is the media explaining this the way you are? It depends what media you're watching, but some of them are. I think there is, though, I think a lack of understanding of really what the philosophy is of Melanchon. He has not hid things at all.
Starting point is 00:25:09 He has always said that he wants conflict, that his strategy is that he wants people with different grievances to see themselves as fighting the same enemy. And the same enemy is the state and is the system. So yeah, there are a few media who are saying this, but probably not enough. And I think many journalists are not digging deep enough into the kind of writings and talks that he has done in the past. I'm going to take a one minute break and then I want to come back Simone and and ask you a couple of questions. One is about the Islamic influence, because I hear that from being dismissed to know that it is a problem,
Starting point is 00:25:57 and the same thing with anti-Semitism. Now, it didn't happen. Yes, it is happening. And I'd like to get your view from on the street on how much of a role that is playing. Simone wrote on Benzegin is with us, and she is with the foundation for defense of democracies. She's the senior envoy for Europe.
Starting point is 00:26:18 Let's talk about three things. I want to talk about Europe and how this spreads, but first I want to start with, I saw things saying that Jewish shops were targeted. Is that true or not? It most probably is not, but definitely Jewish own shops that were targeted as well. but there is no clear indication at this stage that they were targeted because they were Jewish.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Now, does that mean that there is no anti-Semitism? Of course, there's loads. I mean, you can see tags all over the place with, you know, kill the Zionists or gas the Zionists or, you know, all sorts of science. Of course there's anti-Semitism. And I think more importantly, you know, for years, actually for decades, I have been saying, that anti-Semitism is always the first warning sign of society falling apart. You know what? In society falling apart.
Starting point is 00:27:19 We're in the second. We're not in the first stage anymore. We are in the second stage. Tell me about the Islamist movement over there. How much of an influence is that on this? Listen, without a doubt, there is definitely Islamist movements that are involved. We know that the students, Muslim Brotherhood organizations have called for participating in these demonstrations. We know that radical so-called pro-Palestinian groups or rather anti-Israel or pro-Khamas groups have also participated in these demonstrations.
Starting point is 00:27:55 We also know that foreign actors seem to have at least increased some of the social media. we see things from Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran. There are all sorts of Iranian agents who have pushed content for those demonstrations. The same goes for Algeria. Let's not forget that on September 17th, when this big demonstration on Saturday happened, when everything went out of control, was also a date where decades ago an Algerian was killed.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Algerians were killed here in France. And so they used this in sort of an intersectional, you know, approach to, you know, to link all of the different causes together. And then, of course, they're actors like, you know, Qatar and others, like through their social media sites, through Al Jazeera, through AJ Plus, who have pushed a lot of the content. Now, we'll have to dig deeper and to see to what extent, you know, all of this is really organized, but it's pretty clear that this is not like just, you know, some sort of sporadic thing and that is actually organized between far-left and Islamist organizations.
Starting point is 00:29:16 So, you know, a lot of people know about the Arab Spring. Most people don't know there was the European Spring in the 1800s where this was set on fire again, and it was a Marxist kind of thing again. are we looking at a European spring? Is this going to spread across? I mean, you're starting to see it in several of the countries, smaller versions, but you're all kind of in the same boat on multiple fronts.
Starting point is 00:29:49 First of all, we are sort of all in the same boat, and then you have a problem of social media and the globalization of social media and the fact that, you know, Europe is the underbelly, of the soft underbelly of attacking the West. It's weakest links. So without a doubt, you know, anyone, any actor, whether it's Russia, China, North Korea, the Islamic Republic of Iran, will try and find a way to weaken the European Union in Europe at large.
Starting point is 00:30:25 So there is definitely a big risk. And again, we are in a global. world where, you know, you put something on TikTok and within, you know, an hour, it can spread like crazy, especially amongst young people. Is this waking the French up at all when you see, you know, that beautiful, beautiful, I don't know what it was, state house or or city hall or whatever, in Limon? And the artwork that was destroyed. And then I saw them marching in front of the Louvre yesterday.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Thank God, nothing has happened to the Louvre. but is it going to be enough to wake the French people? Isn't I think generally I would say French people are very much awake. I think the question is, are we able to awaken the silent majority? The silent majority is sick and tired of people who are ransacking this country. people are sick and tired of, you know, you look at all of these shops that have been looted, people who have, you know, put their entire life's work into, you know, building a business and that within an hour, everything is destroyed.
Starting point is 00:31:42 So, yeah, people are sick and tired. The question is, you know, will there be a constructive channel that will capital and turn it into something productive? Less than 30 seconds. Tomorrow, do they pass the budget or not? Not sure. Not sure. Not sure. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:07 All right. Thank you so much. We'll talk again. Stay safe. Thank you so much. You bet. Bye-bye. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:15 I want to turn our conversation to something else that was happening before France. And that was how Donald Trump is a traitor to the United States because he just started to, you know, know, ask for oil to be, or not sorry, not oil, but a refined diesel to be sold to the West. Yeah, traitor, really? That's what makes you a traitor today. Hmm. I'm going to lay the case out and then you can decide. We'll do that in just a minute. Stand by. This is the best of the Glenn Beck program and don't forget, rate us on iTunes. Truth is under attack in our culture. People are embracing lies about gender. They're rejecting the sanctity of every human life. And the government is even punishing people for saying
Starting point is 00:33:10 what's true and right. Or worse, the woke mob is doxing them and slandering them with no due process. Just an angry mob making their lives miserable or worse, putting families in real danger. But the biblical principles on which our country was founded still matter. Real patriots and Christians are beginning to stand up. They're showing real courage without a safety net of a big bank account. They're bolstered only by the truths that are self-evident, but these people must be defended. Alliance defending freedom is on the front lines of this fight, and they're standing in courtrooms across the country upholding truth, and you're right to speak it. I have to tell you with what's coming. If you're living in California, you can't have a gun, boy, I would get a burn a launcher. Anyway, let me bring in Jason. Jason, Sir. Data starts putting this stuff out over the weekend, and it is, I mean, it's not surprising.
Starting point is 00:34:40 But I think it's shocking. would you describe what we're about to hear? Well, if you've been a fan, if you've been listening to you for a while, I don't think this will be surprising, but it's interesting to hear this coming out in the open in their own words, nevertheless. And this is something that, I mean, if you've heard of, you know, people talk about color revolutions, if you've heard names like Erica Chenoweth, which we'll get to that in a second. But, you know, people talk about color revolutions. But, you've heard names like, none of this will sound surprising at all. Explain for anybody who doesn't know what a color revolution is.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Explain what it is. Color revolution is something that we've been doing specifically in Eastern Europe during the Cold War era. And it was something that we helped to fund to basically use civil society groups, infiltrate, and to cause turmoil out on the streets and force elections and to upend governments. Kind of sounds familiar. Yeah. And it usually happens after they have fomented a distrust with all of the institutions
Starting point is 00:35:49 and put society right on the edge. And then they cause chaos. And then when you have somebody that they can call a dictator or a fascist, they rush out to the streets and say, this is fascism, this is fascism. And they set the whole thing on fire. Giving whichever leader it is, the only option of doing nothing. and letting the whole place burn down, or going out in force and stopping those people,
Starting point is 00:36:17 which only makes the cries of fascism, you know, more looked at and sounding more true, even though it's not. This is what France is now facing. They're entering an election, and this is just the beginning, what you saw over the weekend, this is just the beginning.
Starting point is 00:36:36 This is going to be going on for a long time. Has nothing to do with Macron, has everything to do with Marine, Le Pen. And she's going to be called a fascist. I mean, she already has been, but she's going to be called a fascist forever. And she's going to be strong against crime. And when you do that, then of course, they're going to say this is fascistic. And they set the streets on fire even more. It is an amazing system. And it only works if the people are not wise to it. So let's wise you up to this. So data rights. He says, the past few days, I got my hands on thousands of new transcripts and hundreds of
Starting point is 00:37:13 recordings, thanks to Leeds. You've heard that the DSA is proposing structural reforms to America, including abolishing the Senate and imposing term limits. What you have not heard is their operational plan to put it all into action. If the Democratic Party sweeps in 2026, then DSA will become the foot soldiers in constant clashes with the administration to cross a red line. or invoke, quote, a doomsday scenario, meaning they're going to go out and they're going to cause so much trouble. President will have to invoke the Insurrection Act, probably in sometime 2027, this according to the Democrats or DSA. Then a lot of coordinated responses kick off, including delegitimizing the federal government itself and handing the legitimacy to the Democratic governors. Really important.
Starting point is 00:38:06 So they're going to say it's the Democratic governors that get it. They need to respond to this. Then 2028 becomes a vote on whether America keeps its governance as is or burn it all down to appease the young and brown demographic. That's a quote from them. The mysterious group who has been coordinating 50-51 indivisible and coordinating the no-king's protest is called the United Demandum. Alliance and their intellectual leader is Erica Chenoweth who came in with the 3.5 rule of nonviolent regime change. Explain who she is Jason and what the 3.5 rule is. So we did a show that mentioned her a while back and that 3.5% rule is basically what the the number of people in a country
Starting point is 00:39:05 that they're guesstimating, that is what is needed to actually overturn a government. So they're saying, look, we don't need 90% of the country, don't even need 50% of the country. All you need is 3.5% that are diehard true believers. And if we can get that amount of people out into the streets, then they can completely topple a government. And this came from another one, if Erica Cheneweth is the intellectual, I guess, leader of this movement, then I think people have said that her intellectual leaders, I can't remember the, or muse, is this guy that wrote the book on color revolutions.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Can't remember his name at the top of my head. But it was his book that was exported and smuggled into all these different countries in Eastern Europe or all these color revolution started taking place. Arab Spring was a color revolution over and over and over again. The Ukrainian election was a color revolution done. done by leftists and our State Department. Okay. Data Republican says this is genuinely the biggest discovery I have made.
Starting point is 00:40:15 This is an enormous archive. This is only the beginning. So today I just want to take you to what she has shown us that she said that Trump is going to invoke the Resurrection Act, or Insurrection Act, which is they cause so many problems in the street. and then they discredit the federal government and hand legitimacy to Democratic governors. Here is a DSA action group having a conference call where they're laying some of this out. Listen. Yeah, just quickly, I want you all to know that day out I met with governors safeguarding democracy,
Starting point is 00:40:55 which is a forum of that convenes Democratic governors right now. And they're also going to be connecting us to mayor's democracy, which is a national network of mayor. So this work around the emergency scenario planning, the NDC, and, you know, we're trying to actually now connect with the people that give political legitimacy to these kind of processes. They literally said, you know, could you maybe come up with like a panel of a couple of people who could talk to governors, who could do a briefing from governors. and walk them through like doomsday scenario and help them think through what, um, what their options are as a response. So like if we get the brief,
Starting point is 00:41:40 the governor's safeguarding democracy, like that's a huge breakthrough for us. Holy cow. Would you like to comment on that, Jason? Yeah. Just the, the jovial attitude of what they're talking about with this doomsday scenario, chuckling about that in,
Starting point is 00:42:01 in the middle of all. these other plans that they're talking about doing. And we haven't even gotten the full picture yet, but the jovial attitude of talking about a doomsday scenario that's going to ignite so much chaos that the Insurrection Act will be considered to be used is just insane. And the fact that the governors are inviting them and her saying, they're inviting us into their world. And they're going to be giving us the inside information. I mean, that is, that's really, terrifying. Now, this happened April 10th, 2026. So this happened last spring.
Starting point is 00:42:37 Now, I want to show you some other things that have happened. Do you remember when Susan Rice was predicting an accountability agenda when the Democrats are back in power? I want you to listen to this. This is Susan Rice threatening corporations. This is February. But when it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media, I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:43:01 you pre-it, it is not, it's not going to end well for them, for those that decided that it was, you know, that they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore is very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a need to Trump. If these corporations think that Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to, you know, play by the old rules. and, you know, and say, oh, never mind, we'll forgive you for all the people you've fired, all the policies and principles you've violated, all, you know, the laws you've skirted. I think they've got another thing coming. And we're not going to play by, you know, the old set of rules when these guys are playing
Starting point is 00:43:50 by a very different set of rules. We're going to play by the law, but that's, we're not going to violate the law the way they do, but we're not going to be suckers. And so I think, you know, whether you're a law firm, whether you're university, whether you're a media entity, whether you're a big corporation, whether you're big tech, you need to play a long game, not this short game that has been so detrimental. There will be an accountability agenda. You know, companies already are starting to hear, they better preserve their documents. They better be ready for subpoenas. If they've done something wrong, they'll be held accountable. Okay. So what is done something wrong? An accountability agenda. I agree. If you break the law, you should go to jail. I'm 100% behind that. I don't care if it's my side, their side, nobody's side. You break the law, you go to jail. I'm 100. That's not what she's saying. That's not what she's saying. If you decided to help the Trump administration, now if the Trump administration is breaking the law, then again, but if you lawfully went along because you believed in something, you're now going to be held accountable? Now, if you think, Glenn, you're reading too much into that,
Starting point is 00:45:06 then let me play this. Recent visit to the University of Chicago during an interview with Vox editorial director, Senator Alyssa Slotkin says this. Listen, cut 16. So that's what I'm saying. I want to look at these signature cases. and not just focus on the president,
Starting point is 00:45:27 but on the people who enabled him. I want young people coming out of school to say, should I go work for the Trump administration? Like, that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity. I want them to be like, Lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want.
Starting point is 00:45:42 And so let me avoid participating in that. I want that deterrence message. Okay, what does that mean? Do you remember we were talking last week? And I told you about what we just found, who has just been released by the DOJ, that the banking community was folding and spying on people, helping the government spy on people,
Starting point is 00:46:12 maybe in many cases, unbeknownst to them, 650,000-plus Americans, if they bought a red MAGA hat, they found themselves on a list. Okay. Now, why did the banks do this? The banks did this because of what's called reputational risk. What is reputational risk? This is something that the left came up with, the climate people came up with, that if you do business with, let's say, an oil and gas company, then the bank is put on a government list that says, well, you have a reputational risk, and you will pay for that through regulation, through whatever kind of hassles they want to create for you, they will create them because you now, as a bank, have reputational risk. and they will spread that around the other banks,
Starting point is 00:47:05 basically saying to other banks, if you want to do business, I wouldn't do business with Glenn's bank, because Glenn's bank is engaging with the oil and gas companies. But that went much further, as we told you it would, into did you buy a red MAGA hat? If you haven't heard this story, go back and listen last week. You can go search for it.
Starting point is 00:47:27 It is legitimate. All of the documents are there. It is proven now. That's the kind of stuff that was happening in our banking community for reputational risk. So what is she saying there? This is the best of the Glenn Beck program. Hello, America. You know we've been fighting every single day.
