Starting point is 00:00:00 On today's podcast, I spoke at the Trump rally in Arizona. You'll hear what I said. And you have to hear this crowd. It was crazy. It was so excited to be there and just moved as one. Wait until you hear, I walked in to the building and the place went nuts. Plus, a challenge for you as we get closer to Election Day. It's going to come down to each one of us.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Also, Jim Rickards is here. Is it possible that we'll see a Harris Van Gogh. administration, or even a J.D. Vance as an acting president. And Chris Bedford joins me to talk about the vibes of this upcoming election. Historically, they're swaying in the direction of Donald Trump. And don't forget to check out the full show on the podcast, but this one, this podcast is the best of, and it starts in 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about real estate agents. I trust. It is, it's hard to change. If you don't believe me, I'm guessing you've never tried to. to buy or sell a house or both, you don't want to do that unless you absolutely have to,
Starting point is 00:01:05 because it's not only hard, it's just so frustrating and complicated. This is why if you're going to buy or sell, you need a great real estate agent, one that actually listens to you and is really competent. Years ago, I started a real estate company called real estate agents. I trust.com with my brother. It's just a referral service. I don't charge you anything for the referrals. We look for the best agents in the country. We started with the 500 best agents, according to the Wall Street Journal, and we learned a lot from them, and we now go out, and we look for the people with the best practices and the best track record. And I've got to be honest with you, people who are fans of the show as well. It doesn't hurt. You kind of walk around,
Starting point is 00:01:47 you can, nobody's going to say to you, oh my gosh, I was with this couple today, and they actually called it a master bedroom. When we got to the, quote, master bath, I needed, I needed some therapy. I was going to lose my. None of them say that. All right. Real estate agents, I trust.com. Real estate agents, I trust.com.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Get your home sold on time for the most amount of money in the house you're looking for. Real estate agents. I trust.com. You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck program. Ladies and gentlemen, please, welcome to this. The stage, founder of Blaze Media and conservative commentator, Glenn Beck. It is to follow the next senator from Arizona, Kerry Lay. I am here today because this is the election that will decide who we are, where our children live,
Starting point is 00:03:18 the opportunities that they will have. This is a sacred, to me, a sacred duty and honor, not to just be here, but also to vote. We need to get people out to vote for Donald Trump. You don't need me to tell you we live in what I believe are prophesied times. We are living in a time where evil is literally called good and good is evil, where men can become women and strangely men can also become little girls, if that's not creepy enough. We know about what's happening to our girls.
Starting point is 00:04:00 This is the destruction of women. I know there are some women that say, I don't know, I just can't vote for Donald Trump. The policies of the left and Kamala Harris are destroying our women. They are undermining us as parents. Anybody who says that they should be able to counsel my child in secret, is a predator. This is what we're up against. And for people who say, I don't know, I don't know if I can vote for Donald Trump. The one thing that you cannot question is his children. His children love him and honor him. His children,
Starting point is 00:04:57 quite honestly, with that much wealth and that much fame, they should be crackheads. I'm trying to think if there's an example of that anywhere, but where did I leave my Hunter Biden facts? These are people who contribute to society, who honor their father and their mother. I don't know how he did that. He's a genius at business. The man should write a parenting book. How did he do it? We are also, I feel prompted to tell you that the biggest,
Starting point is 00:05:48 the biggest, most obvious, and dangerous perversion. One that should set everyone's alarm bells off is this. Every Sabbath, every Sunday, if you go to church, you go to church, you break bread, in remembrance of him, this is my body which I have given up for you. The left has perverted that to the point to where it is, this is my child's body, which I will give up for me. That is evil and must not continue. We are looking at a relationship with evil that cannot be tolerated. We must, the Constitution is hanging by a thread. It is time for the good people that know that.
Starting point is 00:06:50 difference between right and wrong to stand up and save the ring to call on God's army that is armed with our voices and our vote. You know, Kamala Harris said just the other day in an interview that if she could do it all over again, what would she change? Is there any policies or anything that she would change? Immediately the list was endless in my head and she responded, no, nothing. Is this woman the agent of change? How do people get that understanding of who she is? Let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:07:47 If you want change, vote Donald Trump. Things are going to change. It was an amazing, amazing rally. And the day before he was at Coachella, I don't honestly know how the guy does it. He is on the road. I flew back as fast as I could. I had to leave before his speech started so I could fly back. And I was part of a conference call last night that he was on.
Starting point is 00:08:20 And he was on his plane doing the conference call. I was back at home. I was exhausted by the end of the day. He's in his 70s. And the guy just does not stop. He is very, very confident in a good way. He is cautiously confident, I should say. You know, his internal polling is good.
Starting point is 00:08:45 He is, he, you know, he pulls about traditionally eight points behind. It was 10 points in 16. It was six points. The time, you know, in 2020. Meaning the polling error moves in his favor. It moves in his favor. Okay. And it's been between six and 10 points.
Starting point is 00:09:07 if that stands, even if it's four points, he wins. Oh, yeah. He wins everywhere. If he's on the right side of that polling error, he wins easily. Yeah. He'll sweep all seven of those swing states. But he said to me, because we were, we sat down and we had a chat beforehand, and he is not taking a single vote for granted.
Starting point is 00:09:31 He was like, Glenn, we just, it's this all going to be about turnout? Are people going to turn out? Are people going to turn out? And I'm like, yes, they're going to turn out. So I made a promise to him, so let's turn out, please. Here's what I would like to ask you to do. This will make all of the difference, especially people of faith. I don't know a clearer time in my life.
Starting point is 00:09:58 I don't know of a clearer choice between good and evil. I'm not calling Kamala Harris evil. I am calling the policies absolutely evil. Evil. Everything that they have said, they lied about. Oh, he's stronger than he's ever been before, Joe Biden. No, no, we find out. No, you were lying. How long were you lying for?
Starting point is 00:10:25 How long was he in that condition? Who's actually running the White House? Who's running the country? Clearly not somebody people who voted, who he voted for. so who's running it? Everything that they have done, it's a conspiracy theory until it's not. This is a long con. Just the abortion stance.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Look, you might not be for, you might be for no exceptions on abortion. But do you have any idea what's coming our way if she wins? And the way for that to happen is for good men and women. to do nothing. This vote counts in the eternities. You know, there's some people who hesitate getting into the fight because it's controversial. I can't really make a choice. I'm not sure if we're going to win. Let me talk to those people. Let me talk to the people who have blind spots here. First of all, life's decision should be based on principles, not poll, not personalities, but on principles.
Starting point is 00:11:43 You know, there were men at Valley Forge who weren't sure how the revolution was going to end, but they were in a much better place to save their own souls and their country than those people who stood on the sidelines and like, I don't know, who's going to win? And I don't want to get involved in any controversy. The basic purpose of our life is to prove ourselves,
Starting point is 00:12:09 not to be with the majority when it's wrong, but to prove ourselves. This is such an honor to live at this time. To be counted. Your vote counts. If you're in Texas and you want to vote for Trump, you might think, well, my vote, you know, I vote's not going to count anyway because Texas is going to go,
Starting point is 00:12:28 A, are you sure of that? And B, your vote counts eternally. At this, I've never made this case before. This time, liberty and freedom, not just for our children and our grandchildren, is at stake. The whole world's liberty is at stake. If we lose this election, I fear we will go into a massive war, and the Republic won't survive. We can't continue to do the things we're doing and survive. Where were you, Grandma?
Starting point is 00:13:12 Where were you, Grandpa? What do you mean you didn't vote? There are people all over the world who, in their own courage, sometimes quietly, work for freedom. In many cases, we're never going to know until maybe, you know, we die and get up to heaven. We won't know everything that people sacrificed for liberty
Starting point is 00:13:35 all over the world. those people are going to receive heaven's applause. They're getting it right now. For the role that they're playing, in the long run, the applause will be louder and longer than anything they could have received in this world, but most people are just quietly toiling for freedom. This leads to the second blind spot, those who hesitate to get into the fight.
Starting point is 00:14:00 That comes from a failure to realize that we win in the long run and for keeps. You're passing up great blessings by not getting into the battle now when the odds are against us and the rewards are the greatest. Prove yourself. Prove yourself worthy. If you truly believe these rights come from God, then anything that are squashing those rights must be overturned. They're God's rights, not yours. You're not just losing your rights.
Starting point is 00:14:39 You're losing the rights for all of humanity. You're losing it for your children. Do you feel like your children are going to have a better life, an easier life? Could even compete with your life? Most Americans don't. I don't want to feel that way anymore. It doesn't have to be this way. I'm not going to condemn my children.
Starting point is 00:15:04 to wallow in misery, to be strapped with God only knows what that's coming our way. The question that we should be asking, what stand will each of us take in this struggle? How much tragedy can be avoided by doing something now? Think of that. Think of what would have been avoided in Afghanistan alone. Think about what would have been, what tragedies would have been missed just in the FEMA hurricane relief. Imagine the tragedy that is in front of us if Kamala Harris gets in. Time is on the side of truth and truth is eternal and truth is coming roaring back.
Starting point is 00:15:59 You want to be on the right side. those who are fighting against freedom, they might feel confident now. I don't think they do. They know, oh, time is not on our side. They are short-sighted. This is God's world, God's freedom, and the forces of evil are working through some people. And they've made a good mess of part of what's happening in the world. And then we helped because we weren't paying attention.
Starting point is 00:16:30 We didn't hold up our end of the responsibility. but it's still God's world. In due time, once we've had a chance to prove ourselves, including whether or not we're going to stand up, whether or not we want our name to be counted, then God will interject himself, and then the final victory comes.
Starting point is 00:16:53 But that victory is for free agency. Then the people on the sidelines, people who took the wrong but temporarily popular course will lament. You love your country. I love my country. Take that long, eternal look. We are living in prophesied times. I believe that.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Stand up for freedom no matter the cost. It can save your soul and maybe your country. Here's what I would like to ask you to do. I'd like everyone in this audience to find one person that you can get out to vote. And not somebody who's like, yeah, Jim, I'm going to go vote for Trump. Yeah, we'll go together. I mean somebody. There's one person that you know that is so close, so close.
Starting point is 00:17:54 Okay. Help them over the hurdle. Bring them to the polls. That person who says, yeah, I vote for Trump, but I don't. don't think my vote is going to count. Get them to the polls. This audience alone would save the republic if half of us did that. If half of this audience did that, he'd win in a landslide. So that's your assignment in the next, what, 22 days. Find somebody who's not going to probably vote. They're very, very close. They agree, but they're just, it's not going to count.
Starting point is 00:18:36 I don't care where. Even in Texas, first of all, I don't think the Texas thing is solid. Second of all, they are already talking about getting rid of the electoral college. They're already saying that. They made a real move on it last time. This time, they're not fooling around. If they don't win, they're going to try that. If they do win, they will do it. They'll change the electoral college. They're talking about changing the Constitution in all kinds of ways. Here's how you stop that by winning the popular vote. And that means everybody in Florida that thinks, ah, you know, my state's going for it. Get out and vote. It has to be overwhelming. Take one person with you to the polls. Fine in the next 22 days. Find that one person and take them to the polls.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Every day we wake up with yet another chance to do something about the hearts and minds of this country who are getting the abortion issue wrong. We should be thanking God for the opportunity. I am so proud for the opportunity to partner with pre-born. I just, I love these people. Every day, they sponsor free ultrasounds for women, as well as providing help for up to two years after the baby is born. So you're saving the baby's life and the mom. I mean, it's fantastic. They don't just advocate for the baby's life and then forget about them once they're born. That's what the left says we do, but it's not.
Starting point is 00:20:15 When a mom sees her unborn child on that monitor, she hears the heartbeat. She's twice as lucky, likely to consider choosing life for her baby. Preborn saves 200 babies a day, 200 moms a day. If you have the means, would you consider a leadership gift to save babies in a big way? Anything is welcome, but your tax deductible donation of $5,000 will sponsor Preborn's entire network for 24 hours, helping to rescue 200 babies. To donate, dial pound 250, say the keyword baby. That's pound 250 keyword baby, or go to preborn.com slash Beck, sponsored by Prebored. born. Now back to the podcast. This is the best of the Glenn Beck program and we really want to
Starting point is 00:21:00 thank you for listening. Jim Rickards, he is the money GPT author, a strategic intelligence editor. He's a guy who historically has been calling all the big ones, all of the big disruptions in our society, in our economy. And Jim, I don't think, I mean, I've heard you be pessimistic. I don't think I've heard a more stern warning than the one you're giving right now. Well, thanks, Glenn. Great to be with you. Yeah, I don't think of myself as a pessimist. I am an analyst, and I just try to be realistic.
Starting point is 00:21:40 So if that is kind of bad news, you know, so be it. But I just, I try to not have a lot of readers and followers and so forth and, you know, our listeners on our show today. And I just try to get it right. But I am looking at the election. Of course, everyone is that, you know, coming up November 5th, I remind people the elections. pretty much over already with the early voting and all that. So we know that and the drop boxes and the mailings.
Starting point is 00:22:02 So people understand that, but we'll get to November 5th. I don't think we'll know on November 5th or even that night or early the next day. You've got the usual trouble spots, Philadelphia, Maricopa County. I don't know what's going on in Arizona, but they seem to ship the ballots off to warehouse. But beyond that, most Americans are not familiar with the actual electoral calendar, so to speak. and it was devised in the late 18th century. People say, well, why does it take from November 5th to January 6th, 2025, to figure things out? Well, you know, back in the 18th century, they got around by horses and courage and all that,
Starting point is 00:22:38 and it just took time. But anyway, when you get past that, let's just say Trump wins. Now, that's not a short thing. It's going to be a close election, but my models show Trump winning. So he gets more than 270 electoral votes. So we come up to December 17th, when we're going to December 17th, they actually count those votes in the state capitals, and they're going to be disputes and litigation. But let's say we make it, I'm just kind of looking ahead as far as we can to January 6, 2025.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Now, everyone spun up about January 6, 2021. We know what happened. But this is January 6, 2025. Those electoral votes go to the House and the Senate. Now, here's the key. And this is why Trump's campaigning in places like New York and California. He's not going to win New York or California, but they're fighting over House seats. because if the Democrats take a majority of the House of Representatives, which is possible.
Starting point is 00:23:29 There are only four or five votes difference right now. Led by Jamie Raskin, they're going to pass a resolution saying that Trump is an insurrectionist under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. Now, a lot of people say, wait a second, didn't the Supreme Court throw that out? Not exactly. Colorado and Maine tried to kick Trump off the ballot on that ground. It went to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court said states cannot do it. So Colorado Maine couldn't do it in Newark in any other state.
Starting point is 00:23:55 But they explicitly said the Congress could. It was a federal issue, exactly. So now you pass this resolution. What happens? Trump's votes would be disqualified. Let's say there's 300 electoral votes and pick a number over 270. Those are disqualified on the grounds that he's an insurrectionist. So then what happens next?
Starting point is 00:24:13 Well, now nobody has 270 because in this scenario, Kamala Harris doesn't get 270. Trump does, but he's disqualified. So now the election goes to the House of Representatives. This, by the way, has happened before 1800, 1824, and then 1876. They still can't figure out what happened, but it has happened before. But now you flip over from the 14th Amendment to the 12th Amendment. I should let the listeners know. I happen to be a lawyer.
Starting point is 00:24:38 I'm enough of a geek to read all this stuff. Now you're in the 12th Amendment, 1804, and what does that say? Well, the House votes to choose the president, but there are a couple of caveats. One is they can only vote for someone who got in the top three electoral votes. And this is, you know, back in the days, maybe three or four people would get electoral votes. George Wallace got electoral votes in 1968, top three. But there's only going to be one. If you disqualified Trump, no one else is going to win a state.
Starting point is 00:25:07 And Kamala Harris is the only one you could vote for because top three, but she would be the top one because that's it. Why wouldn't it go to J.D. Vance? Why doesn't he take those? Well, I think that's what's going to happen, but you have to sort of follow. The 12th Amendment is a playbook. I think that's where it will end up. I agree with that. But you have to kind of look at the sequence.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Now, in the House, here's the interesting part. There are 435 members, but you don't vote by member. You vote by state delegation. So Texas would get one vote. I live in New Hampshire. We'd get one vote the same as Texas. The Republicans control a majority of the state delegations by a bit of a bit of a bit of larger margin. They barely control majority of the House. But when you go by state delegations,
Starting point is 00:25:53 it's more like 2822. The Republicans have a substantial majority. But the problem is you can only vote for Camel Harris no matter what, because nobody else has any electoral votes. The answer then, the 12th Amendment says this, is for the Republicans, if they have the Cajunas, to go out and stand on the mall in the snow, and then the House lacks a quorum. And the 12th Amendment says, you can't do anything what we're talking about if you don't have a quorum. If you lack a quorum, then what happens? The 12th Amendment says the vice president becomes the acting president. Now, J.D. Vance would not suffer this disqualification, going back to the insurrection. So J.D. Vance would become the acting president of the United States if the House
Starting point is 00:26:36 lacks a quorum. And I describe this, Glenn. It's all in the 12th Amendment. It's in the 14th Amendment. Some of this has been litigated in years past. It sounds crazy, but just think that what we've been through the last three months. You know, two, two, maybe three assassination attempts, a coup d'etat on Joe Biden, a nominee who didn't get one vote in two tries, not one vote in a primary. And so there's enough craziness to go around. So again, I'm just kind of reading the Constitution and applying it. And it has happened before in, say, 1800, we ended up with Thomas Jefferson, Aaron Burr, who were bitter enemies and opposing parties. But that's what happened. And here you could have Kamala, J.D. Vance, worst case, or J.D. Vance is acting president if the Republicans walk
Starting point is 00:27:19 off the floor and they lack a quorum. Oh, geez. This is craziness. So, you know, one of the reasons we are successful, we had cheap energy, don't have that anymore. Well-educated populace, we don't really have that anymore. Cheap labor, we don't have that anymore. and a stable country. If this happens, what happens to the economy? Well, the stock market, you know, they're bull markets and bare markets.
Starting point is 00:27:55 It goes up and down, but the one thing the stock market hates is uncertainty. Right. What we just described is maximum uncertainty because I just gave you a scenario. It is laid out in the 12th Amendment, you know, 1804. But you can bet that every step that I described will be litigated. in some manner. So, and the courts want nothing to do with this. I mean, you go back to 2020, you know, the New York Times, all these people say, well, there were 15 cases and they were all, you know, all of them were decided that there was no voter interference and no election
Starting point is 00:28:24 point. That's not what the court said. The courts dismissed all those cases, either on standing, jurisdiction, timeliness, they went to all these procedural things to get rid of the cases, but the actual fraud was never litigated. There's been a lot of a forensic examination since then. And that's just the course of, hey, you Congress, states, state legislation, you guys figure it out. We don't want to be involved in this. They still feel burned by Bush versus Gore in 2000. Having said that, they have a job to do.
Starting point is 00:28:57 And I think these things are going to end up in their lap. But if you put the course to one side and just go by the playbook in the 12th Amendment, and that was based on what happened in 1800, you would end up with, J.D. Vance as acting president. And because the Congress can say that he's an insurrectionist, you don't need a trial? I mean, he's never even been charged with insurrection. Of course, you're right, and I agree completely. But that 13th Amendment hasn't been, sorry, Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, sorry, hasn't been litigated since the, well, we had the case last summer with Colorado, Maine.
Starting point is 00:29:37 But before that, you have to go back to the 1930s. And even, of course, that was designed. That came after the Civil War. It was designed to disqualify Confederates from federal offices, et cetera. Over the years, but Section 5, Section 3 is the insurrections clause. But Section 5 empowers the Congress to make laws to interpret Section 3. They, sometime, I don't know of the exact age, sometime in the 1920s, the Congress granted full amnesty to Robert E.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Lee and Jefferson Davis. They said they were not insurrectionists. And so it has been, there has been legislation and it has been litigated, not in recent decades. But if you're willing to cut Robert E. Lee a break, I don't know why they wouldn't do it for Trump. Well, they did that. They did that to heal. I mean, that's why we have these statues of Robert E. Lee. The North said, build a statue. These are heroes for you as well. You know, they didn't, they didn't prosecute these guys because they said we've got to come back together as a nation. Nobody's going to do that this time. That's exactly right. The bitterness is we're sorry to say that, but it's there. And by the way, the leader of this, and he's open about it. I read the Constitution did the legal homework,
Starting point is 00:30:53 but the guy who says, this is what we're going to do, is Jamie Raskin and the member of Congress from Maryland. But most people are, you know, they're worried about election fraud on November 5th. They should be. I think Lara Trump has done a good job of I think they've mobilized 500 lawyers and they're on that and Republicans are finally waking up to the fact that you may not like malins but you got to do it but this is
Starting point is 00:31:15 much further down the road. This is the end game. This is the final lawfare attack. You're listening to the best of the Glenn Beck podcast. Hear more of this interview and others with the full show podcast. Available wherever you get podcasts. There's a great article at blaze.com how Donald Trump won the vibes election
Starting point is 00:31:33 and I wanted to get Christopher Bedford. He is our Washington, D.C. chief, and he wrote this great kind of historical look at vibes, man. And I wanted to get him on to explain it. Hi, Chris. How are you? I'm great. Happy Columbus Day, Glenn. Oh, yeah, it is Columbus Day. You bastard for knowing that.
Starting point is 00:31:55 How much hate do you have in your soul? You know, I'm in Baltimore Harbor right now, which is where Nancy Pelosi's father erected statute of Christopher Columbus, and she applauded as that statute was taken down. Unbelievable. Okay, happy Columbus Day. So, Chris, tell me about the vibes election and winning the vibes war. So I was looking at kind of the historic precedent because we sit there in D.C.
Starting point is 00:32:22 pouring over numbers, pouring over polls, trying to divine the public sentiments from these people who just call folks at their home phone numbers and their cell phones and try to gauge where the public's at. And it's talking to some long-time political consultants when they pointed out, and we're chatting about this, how often politics is actually kind of a game of the obvious. We make it very complicated. We pour through this really imperfect science. But it's not like the economy. It's not like a lot of other things that are difficult to predict. If you'd look back for the last 50 years of elections, whether it's Gerald Ford, who no one ever elected anything other than congressman versus Jimmy Carter, whether it's Ronald Reagan, just an incredible movie star actor
Starting point is 00:33:10 with a pitch-perfect radio voice versus Jimmy Carter, or whether you move up to Mitt Romney versus Barack Obama, you start to notice that these things are kind of obvious. The people who are likable, Bob Dole, no matter what the scandals, no matter his hair, and the matter of his sense of humor, was not going to beat Bill Clinton, who was young and energetic and charismatic. And the Democrats really played a strong and bold hand here, not maybe strong, but extremely bold bluff. When they put Kamala Harris, who was literally no one's first choice, to be in charge,
Starting point is 00:33:48 someone the Obamas can't personally stand, someone who Joe Biden doesn't really even personally like, they put her on the ticket, and they try to make her into a rock star. into a transformative figure. They tried to run simply off of vibes, how she makes you feel. But in the last six weeks or so of the election, for the last two weeks, and then we got four weeks ahead of us,
Starting point is 00:34:09 people have really started to notice and tune in, and they don't like what they see. And the Democrats who based everything on vibes are actually turning away from Kamala Harris. And at the same time, Donald Trump, who in 2016 was a maverick, in 2020 kind of ran an angry campaign, one that was a lot about how he'd been wronged, and he had.
Starting point is 00:34:30 But now in 2024, he's the top of his game. He's hysterical. He's lighthearted. You were with him over the weekend. He's a changed man. Yeah, he is. And every single poll is showing at the American people are noticing this. He is really changed to a much light, much more lighthearted guy.
Starting point is 00:34:54 You know, after he lost in 2020. funny, he was angry about it. I don't see the anger in him anymore. He's, he's, he's really a positive guy. Don't worry. I can't tell you how many times I heard him say to people, this is backstage. They said, you know, worried about this. Don't worry about it. Let's just, let's win this election. And that's all going to solve itself. We're going to take care of that. Don't worry. Let's just win the election. You know, you know this, Glenn, from your life. I think we all know this, that sometimes there seems like something's happening, that you can't understand why, and it's bad, and it hurts you.
Starting point is 00:35:31 And later on, when you step back, sometimes years later, you realize it was all part of God's plan. Yes. And it suddenly starts to make sense, even those difficult trials. And that may be where we are right now. So you believe that he's surging in the polls, because that's what he said to me yesterday, Glenn, we're, I mean, and I'm seeing it in some, that he is starting to surge, and it comes at exactly the right time. And Kamala is
Starting point is 00:35:58 starting to fall in the polls. You believe those numbers are real? Yes, and I've not seen, I've really not seen a good poll for Kamala Harris in a few weeks. Everyone that is coming out has been bad. Donald Trump is literally starting to pull ahead in the popular vote. The Barack Obama speech trying to shame black men doesn't seem to have worked. Oh, boy, was that bad. The Kamala Harris Media Blitz didn't work. The old. The only polls that we have since she did a week of these strange shows have shown her consistently further and further down.
Starting point is 00:36:33 And I don't actually think that pollsters are undercounting Trump voters as often as they have previously, because for eight years, it was a shameful thing to be a Trump voter. I used to be a punk rocker. I'd walk around with a mohawk and a t-shirt with a curse on it, and people would look at you way meaner if you have a MAGA hat on than that. Wow. They just, they cause disdain in so much of the country, but it's no longer uncool. Well, wait a minute, wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I have a theory on this. I think they undercounted the MAGA people in the past. And they did it by, I think, eight or ten points in 16 and then six points in 2020. I think the hidden MAGA voter are the people that do not want to tell their Democratic friends. I can't take any more of this. And they will go in either not vote or they will go in and vote for Trump, and they're not going to tell anybody. Do you think there's a chance of that?
Starting point is 00:37:32 You know, this is just a story, but my mother's got a book group up in Cape Cod. And the whole book group for years was dominated by anti-Trump sentiment. Until one day she had enough and said, you know, I actually voted for him. And I'm not a racist. And it turned out that the majority of her books group felt the exact same way. but they had been overpowered by a few loud voices who shamed them and tried to put them down for it. I think those people are everywhere.
Starting point is 00:37:57 For every Trump sign you see, there are a lot more people who don't have one in the yard who are feeling that same way. And they're looking at the prices and the groceries, looking at the crime, they're looking at the foreign policy. And they're saying, this isn't what I wanted. Yeah, this is the only time, I mean, you looked into the presidential history. This is the only time that I'm aware of where if, When Kamala wins, they will be voting against their own interests. For instance, every time an administration has an economy this bad, things starting to look really bad in foreign policy, all of these things, gas prices going up, they don't usually do well.
Starting point is 00:38:38 If she beats Donald Trump's even just the popular vote numbers, I just don't believe it. I just won't believe it. how are these people voting against what they know to be true? It's so difficult to talk to a lot of these folks. They're so insulated, it seems. And what's sad is a lot of things that are very much true are called lies. Oh, I know. If you say that the crisis of the border, even though now Democrats are finally admitting that,
Starting point is 00:39:11 folks will tell you straight to your face, call us professors will tell you, that's a conservative lie. No, it's not. So there's a willful disconnect, and we are more tribal than we've ever been, than a long time, at least, not ever. But do you think, though, the economy is different? I mean, there was a story out today that said that, you know, the prices for everything is actually lower today than it was when Donald Trump was in office.
Starting point is 00:39:39 And I'm like, are you, I mean, everybody knows that. They remember going to the grocery store then. They remember going to the grocery store now. I think they've become so blatant in their lies that you have to choose. I'm believing that. I'm no longer going to believe my own eyes, my own ears, my memory. I'm going to, I choose to believe that. Trust enough reporters has never been lower and it's completely deserved.
Starting point is 00:40:12 For every amount of distrust you have for people in my mind. profession, you should increase it because so many of them are liars, this propaganda for the court. I think there was CNBC who tried to claim that increases in wages are what's covered for it. So actually everything is cheaper. But if you're a native-born American citizen, your wages have not increased. If you're an illegal immigrant, you're doing better than maybe you were three years ago, four years ago. But that's not, at least that's not who's supposed to be voting. Democrats have tried to block that every chance they get. But one thing that's interesting in the polls, and I still can't figure out, you're just in Arizona.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Why, the difference between Kerry Lake and Donald Trump, the difference between Trump and a couple other Republican candidates in the polling is sometimes 10 points. And in this partisan age, I would be surprised if we actually see that kind of vote splitting, that kind of ticket splitting, really reflect when the numbers come in. And I'm wondering if it's going to, those Senate candidates are going to come up and close to Trump or if Trump's maybe a little closer to where they are. I would tend to agree with that.
Starting point is 00:41:14 doesn't make sense. I talked to Mike Lee yesterday and he said, oh, Carrie Lake, I want Carrie Lake to win so badly. He's like, she's a fighter. I need a fighter that is in the Senate because we've got a battle to wage. And I said, do you think she's going to win? He said, Trump, I believe is going to win Arizona handily. And he said, I think that's just going to just going track with her. I think she's going to be pulled up past the finish line with him. That would make sense to me. I think Mike Lee is right on that. Absolutely. I think he's got a good point. He's got a good eye on it. And just like you said, he's one of our senators who's not just going on TV and saying conservative things, but he's fighting hard in the Senate right now on the procedure, on the policy,
