Starting point is 00:00:00 Let me tell you about sweat block. This is, I mean, it is a commercial, but I got to tell you something. I am passionate about this because I think this is such an incredible change. Sweat block. Sweat block is an antiperspirant deodorant that you can use the deodorant stick like usual, or you can use their wipes. And you put them on at night. You just wipe under your arms at night.
Starting point is 00:00:27 and you do it one night and then you don't apply anything for the next six days. I have to tell you, it is absolutely amazing. I was over in Europe. No air conditioning. Oh no, the air is on. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Anyway, I didn't have a problem with sweating or stinking. It's amazing. We should ship some to France. Sweatblock.com. Sweatblock.com promo code back. You can find it also on Amazon sweatblock, Go to sweatblock.com.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Use the promo code Beck and you'll save 20%. Try their wipes or their deodorant stick. It is the best I've ever tried. Sweatblock.com promo code Beck. Is the fusion of entertainment? Oh, hello America. This is the Glenn Beck program, and we've got quite a program for you today. We, I was so happy to see the White House partying down, you know, for the Inflation Reduction Act while the world is on fire.
Starting point is 00:02:21 And inflation numbers go up, actually. I'll explain how they mysteriously went down. Oh, there's one reason for it and nothing to do with what Joe Biden and the Congress did. That only made things worse. But they were partying down with that very contemporary James Taylor. What? Was Scott Chaplin not available? We're the ink spots.
Starting point is 00:02:46 We want somebody to really tear it up in the world. We go into this unbelievable scene that was surreal. So surreal, Salvador Dali went, come on, that can't be. We begin there in 60 seconds. Tom wrote in about his experience with the Relief Factory, he says, I'm 85. I was really active until a few years ago, when my lower back and left hip stopped bothering me.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Tried all sorts of things to help with the pain. Nothing worked very long. I was starting to think, that's it. This is the way it's going to be for the rest of my life. Then I heard you talking about relief factor and decided to try it. No kidding within a few. No joke. It's, it's, oh my gosh, I think Tom might be Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:03:33 No joke. I'm not kidding. Within a few weeks, my pain was gone. Thank you. Tom, thank you for listening. Thank you for trying it. I'm so happy for you. The three-week quick start is developed for you.
Starting point is 00:03:44 It's 1995. It's a dollar a day. It's a trial pack. They know about 70% of the people it works for. So you'll know in three weeks. So just try it. Take it as directed for three weeks. See if it works for you and you can get your life back.
Starting point is 00:03:59 At relieffactor.com, 1-800 for relief, 1-800 for relief. Relieffactor.com feel the difference. So yesterday, whoa, what a shindig. You know what I mean? They were cutting a rug at the White House. And there's not a better party tune than... than fire and rain. Yeah, fire and rain.
Starting point is 00:04:24 About suicide and horrible instances in your life. Up on the roof, you know, hey, if you're a cancer patient, don't jump. I thought it could happen. Anyway, it was wonderful. Here's Nancy Pelosi. Cut 18, please. Nancy Pelosi. Inflation Reduction Act so beautifully named for all that it does.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Yeah. As the name suggests, this landmark law is cutting costs and inflation fighting. and driving down. Pause, pause. Is that true at all? No. No. That's not true. No. At all. The inflation numbers have come out. That is not true. Do you know the only place where inflation is going down is energy, oil, gas? Why is that? Well, because of some demand destruction. And when when someone says to you, what the Fed is trying to do is they're looking for demand destruction, What does that mean? Well, just put your name and your bank account and replace demand with that.
Starting point is 00:05:29 So Glenn's bank account to the South Lake Bank. What the Fed is really trying to do is they're looking for Glenn Beck's account at South Lake to be destroyed. That's literally what demand destruction means. You won't have the money to be able to be able. to buy anything. So the demand is destroyed. Just keep that in mind when you hear that. Now, the other thing, do we have the chart,
Starting point is 00:06:02 I think we were going to show it next hour, but yeah, there is. Look at this chart, Pat. How would you describe that? A reverse hockey stick? Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Yeah. Okay. Flatline, then all of a sudden just nosedives. Do you know what that is? No. That's the strategic oil reserves. Oh, wow. And this was before they did another, what, 80 million gallons recently?
Starting point is 00:06:31 This isn't even current. Look at where our oil reserves are. Isn't that great? I love that. Lowest level, I think, in 40 years. Yeah, I think it might be ever at this point since we started it in the 1970s. Yeah. So the Strategic Oil Reserve, that is why your gas price is going down.
Starting point is 00:06:53 He is using the Strategic Oil Reserve to make sure the elections go a little better than they would. He's trying to convince you that everything is great. But the thing is, uh, nobody's buying it. Even the people in the audience, cut 19. Mr. President, thank you for unifying and inspiring a vision of a stronger, fair, safer future for all, for our children. Your extraordinary leadership has made this glorious day possible. Okay, stop. Just a second.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Just a second. I got to go back. Did you hear what she said? It's a safer America. Is it? Is it? I mean, everything is so demonstrably false. Is it a safer America? No.
Starting point is 00:07:50 No. There's no question. There's no question. All the crime's debts. It's a fair. Is it a fairer America? No. Okay. Now, why would you say that, Pat? Well, for one thing, because some of us are paying for other people's college funds. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:08:07 And taking away their debt for them. Why are you? Our money. Why are you such a hater? Why are you such a hater? I don't know. I'm not sure how that happened. Here's what you really, here's what you really have to quote.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Under Joe Biden, the fairness, the gap between rich and poor has gone up for the first time in like eight years. Wow. Okay. So we are actually becoming less. fair under Joe Biden. All right. So she says this. Go ahead. Play it again, please.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Mr. President. Thank you for unifying and inspiring a vision of a stronger, stronger, not true. Fair, safer, safer future for all, for our children. Yes. Your extraordinary leadership has made this glorious day possible. That's an applause. If you have to tell them it's an applause line, it's not an applause line.
Starting point is 00:09:19 It's not like everybody was sitting there stunned going, you've got to be kidding, right? I mean, it's an applause line. You've been applaud. It is. It's nuts. And if you happen to not be there, let's play a little pleas of James Taylor just partying down. Listen, he sounds so young, too. Just yesterday a morning
Starting point is 00:09:44 They let me know you're gone Suzanne plans They may put an end to you Okay So we got to Where's the party hat? Well, the ink spots couldn't make it So
Starting point is 00:10:00 They had to go with James Taylor And it was a party Unfortunately This happened in the middle of the party and the party goers didn't hear it, but everyone else did. Cut 28. For years, so many of us have been trying to fix this problem. Is it?
Starting point is 00:10:20 But for years, big pharma blocked Medicare from negotiating lower drug practices. Plactors. All right, I do not want to be a party crasher, but we interrupt this celebration for a hard, cold dose of reality. Stocks tanking because inflation is accelerating. The very inflation that the president said, He's made great progress addressing, heralding his inflation reduction. This is this we are watching.
Starting point is 00:10:48 We're watching something that rarely happens in the free world. We are watching the worst propaganda ever devised. This is horrible propaganda. Horrible propaganda. The state is saying one thing. Do you remember when we, when I was growing up, So you have to be, you know, you got to be a own fart like me. But I remember thinking, how do people in Russia believe any of this stuff?
Starting point is 00:11:21 And it's because they had total control, total control of everything that was said. Now, imagine if one day you turn on this program and all you hear is that might leave a vacuum. and all you can hear is what the government was saying without an interruption of breaking news of how bad the stock market is going. That's how you believe it. That's why they are silencing any other voice. It is why it is so vital. People ask me all the time, how do I know what's true? What sources do you trust?
Starting point is 00:12:05 Listen to me. I don't trust anybody. I don't even trust. We check things. six ways to Sunday. And if we get it wrong, we come back and we'll tell you. I don't know how many people do that. I know there are a few sources.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Just the news is a very good source you should read every day. But if I may, I hate to sound like I'm just hawking this, but I am because I believe in it. BlazTV.com, please become a subscriber. you are going to find more things on just what happened during COVID. You are going to learn, I mean, man, Steve Dase and Horowitz, they have gone so deep onto that. They are the leaders on what really happened. Most of this stuff cannot be put onto social media. In fact, I don't think any of it can now be put on social media.
Starting point is 00:13:03 even though what they've been saying has been proven time and time again. They'll come out and admit it, but you still can't say it. Please, please, join us at blaisTV.com. We really need to stay in touch with each other. And by the way, also, you can get my show prep for this program free every day at glenbeck.com. just sign up for it. All right. So we have the income inequality spiking for the first time in 10 years.
Starting point is 00:13:42 We have inflation, the number, the actual number going down, but only, only in the category of energy. And they expect you to say, oh, no, it's getting so much better. But you know because you buy other things. inflation is actually up everywhere else. You know what is true. This is something we talked about yesterday. You know what is true.
Starting point is 00:14:14 When you hear people repeatedly lie to you or repeatedly wrong and then don't correct it when the facts come out and they go, oh, it's, well, that's really a Hunter Biden thing. It really is real. if they're hedging their bet at all, if they are not asking for a may a couple, if they're not saying, please, forgive us for that. Boy, were we wrong and we've learned a lesson and we're going to do X, Y, and Z from here on out. You've heard the New York Times bury the fact that it's real
Starting point is 00:14:47 and then just go on like they've reported it real the whole time. You've got to stop listening to those people. And it is time, honestly, to move on from the people who don't have ears or eyes. This is a really difficult job to do because I'm trying to attract a big audience, get it as big as we possibly can so more and more people can hear the truth or at least hear what I believe is true and let them decide on their own. But I'm trying to balance.
Starting point is 00:15:25 How do I do that? Because you know what? there are so many people now that time is running short. And you need to know what to do. Not just what's happening, but what to do. I've been working on these things for a couple of months now. And my job is to warn you. It's not to give you an out.
Starting point is 00:15:48 But there are things that I know that can be done. And things that you need to know. And warning, for instance, the big raid, yesterday on on Mike Lindell at a hearties I mean that's the weirdest thing I've ever heard just shows you too they've been following him following him around him that's incredible yeah and they come out guns of blazing while he's at a drive-thru
Starting point is 00:16:13 in Hardee's we need your phone get out of the car we need your phone what the hell is that like he's you know terrorist number one what was that all about? What was the story that happened, I think, in New Jersey, the woman that was on Tucker Carlson last night, that said the FBI came armed, came to her house and said, hey, we understand through an anonymous tip that you were at January 6th. What is that all about? And she wasn't, by the way. Yeah, she wasn't.
Starting point is 00:16:54 She wasn't there. And you just, you're getting an anonymous. tip and you're coming with guns? What are you talking about? She was terrified, absolutely terrified. I don't want you to be terrified. I want you to know what your rights are and exactly how to do things. Coming in, well, within the next couple of months, before the election, we are going to do a serious special, not an hour long. We're going to do remember when we did the Common Core thing. We brought all the experts in. And it was, like, like a two-hour extravaganza where we brought the experts in and we told you exactly what to look for, where to find it, and what to do. We're going to do that again and we'll do it as a special
Starting point is 00:17:44 before the elections because it is, this is happening. And you need to be prepared. What that lady did, what she said last night to Tucker when she said, well, I just, you know, I did this this and this. She did the wrong thing. She did the wrong thing. But that's because she didn't know, because we've never had to deal with this before. Please join us at blazTV.com slash Glenn 20. Starting point is 00:18:29 60 seconds, we're back to the news. The time for sitting on the fence about your home finances has come and gone, and we are entering a period of intense economic pressure. Most of the warning signs are already receding in the rearview mirror. You cannot, cannot wait around for the economy to magically fix itself. It is going to get much worse before it gets better. So what do you do? Well, you got to save as much as you can.
Starting point is 00:18:57 You've got to go through everything and find out what am I paying for every month that is worth it and not worth it and just pair things down to the essentials. You need to look at all of your bills, all of your bills. And that includes your mortgage. That really includes your credit cards. Please, your credit card rate is going to go through the roof soon. And all can pay that thing off. If you have any kind of, what do you call it? Ah, with your mortgage.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Consolidation. Yeah, you consolidation. But if you have, no, everybody's giving me ideas in my ear and they're all not what I was looking for. If you equity, if you have equity in your home, please that equity could disappear quickly. you have access to that cash pay down your high interest credit cards because that will dramatically affect your monthly spending, $100, $200, $200,000, $500,000, $1,000,000 every month. Starting point is 00:20:12 10 seconds station ID. Hmm. How you doing, Pat? Oh, perfect. And almost everywhere. In every way. In every way. In every way.
Starting point is 00:20:33 Wow, that's great. That's great. Are you enjoying the new lower inflation rate? Oh my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. I went out and bought an extra car. Did you?
Starting point is 00:20:44 Yeah. And you got it? I thought I got to take advantage of this. Right. Yeah. Yeah. And surprisingly, because of the inflation reduction act, they actually had cars on the lot. Really?
Starting point is 00:20:55 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's amazing. They're back to have 1,200 cars on a dealership lot. Wow, that's crazy. Now, you didn't stop by the grocery store, did you? I did.
Starting point is 00:21:06 You did? I bought $9,000 worth of groceries for about $90. Really? Wow. Yeah, incredible. You know, it's strange. This inflation reduction act has done such a great job, great job on groceries that the price has only increased 13.5% over the past year. It's not 15% or 20%.
Starting point is 00:21:30 No, it's not. No, it is not. So, yeah. That's really good. But that's only if you needed eggs, bread, things like that. 13%. 13.5%. Almost 14%. It's the largest increase since 1979. Okay. This is out of control and it's only going to get worse. They say everything. Your food, your housing, your clothing, your clothing. Every, everything that you need is going up, except for gas. And I just remind you of that reverse hockey stick. Where is that coming from? Not from anything other than your tax dollars being used instead of strategically for the oil reserve, strategically for an election. They are dumping all of the oil from the strategic oil reserve. At a time where the world could go to war. This is insanity. This is, this is dereliction of duty. This is so dangerous.
Starting point is 00:22:39 All right. Back in just a minute. The Glenn Back program. Okay. So here in my home state of Texas Patriot, Mubble has been involved in a lot of school board meetings over the multiple school districts lately. They've been fighting against the exact same things you're fighting on. Critical Race Theory, Gender Theory, Chief Among Them. They've had a pretty, pretty, big impact. They have, I think every race that they have been involved in, they've won. I think it was 11 for 11. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:23:13 Yeah. It is crazy. People are waking up and Patriot Mobile is in the fight with you. Please, PatriotMobil.com slash Beck. These people are in the fight. This week only, use a promo code Glenn 20 to get $20 off your subscription at blazedtv.com. I got to tell you, I feel a little unprepared for today's program. I do not know where the Queen's coffin is. Oh my gosh. Right now. Because of second by second coverage, we now know that it's in the northwest corner of the bow room at Westminster Abbey. Oh, no, no, no. It's not. It's on the move. It's on the move. Okay. Well, that's what I mean. Second by second.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Second by second. It's on the move. And I can't give you the GPS coordinates of it right now. Can you give me the latitude of the longitude? No. You know, we sound like we're making fun of the coverage of it. Yeah. But this is, she was the greatest, I think, leader for the Western world of the 20th century.
Starting point is 00:24:59 For our society, I think she was a tremendous example. Tremendous example. her kids are well let's move on there's a couple of things going on I want you to know about New York has gone absolutely insane with their gun laws now the governor of New York
Starting point is 00:25:19 is banning houses of worship from allowing congregants to be armed last week I was in the city of Florence Italy it's been a week there and didn't see a machine gun didn't see really armed police other than just regular police except when I went to the synagogue.
Starting point is 00:25:38 And I didn't even know it was the synagogue of the first time I went by it. We were driving by it. And all of a sudden, there were all of these stanchions out and armed people with automatic weapons. And I thought, whoa.
Starting point is 00:25:54 And I said, what's happening here? And the driver just looked to me and said, oh, it's the synagogue. Like, yeah, that's every day. Chews are under attack. This may mean something to use. in your Christian church, but to Jewish people, this is extraordinarily dangerous. But they don't seem to care.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Svi Waldman is with us. He is with a New York State Jewish gun club. He's the founder of it. And he's one of the guys ringing the bell saying, this is really dangerous for Jews. Hello, Svi. How are you? Hi, thanks for having me, Glenn. You bet.
Starting point is 00:26:29 So tell me what the situation is in New York. So basically, right now, if you are a low-abiding citizen, And when went through the proper procedures in the state to obtain a pistol permit, you are not allowed to carry in your shul. You're actually a felon. Even if your rabbi writes a letter giving you consent, it doesn't matter. You're a felon. So we're basically sitting ducks. Yeah, but Svi, you can hire a former policeman or a policeman.
Starting point is 00:27:00 I mean, why don't you just hire somebody? At the last time I checked, like for the freedom of speech, there's no need to hire a spokesperson. Yeah. I believe that every person is allowed to just, you know, speak freely. There's no need to pay any licensing for it. And I think the same should apply to the Second Amendment. If you read the Bruin decision that the Supreme Court vote, I mean, any high schooler can read it and see clearly how in violation New York State is. So what are you going to do as a Jewish government?
Starting point is 00:27:33 community? Hiring smart lawyers. Good. Good, good, good, good, good start. When do you file? Whatever, the lawyers are working on it. It's around the clock. So, yeah, I mean, for now we're doing what we have to.
Starting point is 00:27:50 We drumming up support. You know, there's also this law affects other stuff as well. I mean, local grocery stores, you're not allowed to carry a firearm inside, except if they put up a sign. so we have been giving out these signs of stories. And you have to stop thinking, like, I mean, people are realizing how ridiculous it is, and especially if you see the woke prosecutor is pushing their ideology and the bail reformers that they pass and, like, gun crimes, like, running rampants
Starting point is 00:28:21 and, like, people are starting to think, does the, you know, do the politicians in Albany really care about us or they care about their political ideology? And I think my government needs to take a really hot look and realize that they're here to represent their people, not their philosophy. And, you know, the more they're doing it, the more devices it's becoming and the more dangers can potentially be. You know, I don't know how you would feel about this, but if this were my community, and, you know, I'm right down the street from Collieville where we had an incident at a synagogue just recently. and I know the churches immediately reached out to help, but I think Christians, you should volunteer to be meat shields, quite honestly. You don't have to bring a gun, just be a meat shield.
Starting point is 00:29:16 And I'd love to see churches organize to walk with people and stand in front of, they'd have to come through you first. Can we please learn our lesson and can we at the beginning of this stand and be visible standing for our Jewish friends? Please, let's not repeat the mistakes of the past. And if you think the past is just the past, you don't know the history of the Holocaust that have happened through history over and over. And it begins this way. Svi? I think 100% right. It's not only like,
Starting point is 00:30:00 you know, I have a wool or two. There are plenty of people that come from countries that were oppressed and they come in here for the freedom. I mean, most of our ancestors when they came to United States, they came to the poor junior pasture and they came to escape some type of, you know, tyranny. And the more I talk to people
Starting point is 00:30:16 going out there from other communities, the more I see the sentiment is the same. It's just in New York State people are scared to talk out. people are people don't want to be judged just people want to be let go and live their life and get along with the neighbors but the more I talk to people the more I see how many people are concerned about there's some all the different communities around it and I think for the Second Amendment and especially for the Constitution it's something that we need to stand
Starting point is 00:30:43 together hand-in-hand on the matter where you're from and you know which nomination you're from it's something that can affect us and as long as we have it will be able to practice our religious ever feeling in this great country. It's one of the only countries that guarantees it. It's in the Constitution of Second Amendment. And this is exactly what our founders did too. I'm sure you're aware of the Vine and Fig
Starting point is 00:31:07 letter that George Washington wrote to the Jewish community. We are one and we stand together so we can all recline under the Vine and Fig in peace and harmony. You know, it's a weird thing, V, to watch people where they know what is right, but they are paralyzed by fear. And I really think that comes from a lack of faith, true faith in God.
Starting point is 00:31:42 100%, but it is a different aspect that people have to understand. When I talk to people, I try to explain to them that this country, as people call it a great experiment. And if I look through the history, there's been times where America has looked dark like this. But at the end of the day, we prevail and we pull through. But we only pull through if people voice their opinions and make sure our politicians hear our voices. So people shouldn't get paralyzed. And people understand, have to understand, it's okay to talk out. And it doesn't think people, people think that you need to do big things in order to change.
Starting point is 00:32:21 It's on if you fix yourself, you'll fix your children, your family, and automatically you'll have an influence on them. And then the influence goes from in and out. There's a great story I just heard from a friend of mine. There was a scientist. He was working on great projects. They wanted to fix the world. You know, was constantly tweaking things in his garage and trying to come over the solutions for energy for this and for that. He had a little son who was like so proud of his dad.
Starting point is 00:32:46 He wanted to help him. And once his father was sitting, like trying to figure something out. And his son comes over. it and says, he tells him, Ta, I want to help you fix the world. And the father is trying to, like, shrug them over because he's busy concentrating. The father sees a magazine with a picture of, like, a map of
Starting point is 00:33:01 the world. He takes it, he rips it out. He gives it to his son. And then he rips it up into pieces. He tells the son, here, go, put together this puzzle, put together the world. And he figured for sure his son will never be able to figure it out. And to his behold, like, 20 minutes later of his son comes running in, everything
Starting point is 00:33:17 scouts take together the map of the world. He said, Ta, I fixed the world. you asked them how are you able to figure it out it's so complicated you know there's a lot of different pieces you never saw the world the globe as a whole and said yeah but i saw behind was a picture of a person so i put that person together so people have to understand that if you work on yourself to really understand freedom and to appreciate it then automatically you'll have an influence on the family and the people around the enemy neighbors this is exactly how i started i started of going to the range taking down four numbers of other people in my community that are shooting and then just evolved into a club. You know, I just want to know how to become a good shooter. I want to understand what the Second Amendment is all about. Svi, I don't know if you know my history at all with the Jewish community and my stance on Israel. Starting point is 00:37:51 This is the Glenn Beck program. Tonight, Europe has a major energy problem and that is a big problem for us. It's short term, the problem because of inflation, energy prices, supply chain issues. They have ripple effects on both sides of the Atlantic. And it is a problem in the long term because America, especially left-wing America, has always had an unhealthy infatuation with Europe. And that means where European progressives lead, American progressives follow. Nowhere, is that more evident than in the insane obsession with the green transfer. for transformation of energy.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Major UN or sorry, EU nations decided to quickly transition away from fossil fuels, cause them to rely on more Russian oil, coal, natural gas to provide the backup when the sun doesn't shine and or the wind stops
Starting point is 00:39:03 blowing. That's good with Vladimir Putin playing his long con, but now Russia has turned off the gas tap. Have you seen not only are prices sky rocketing. Citizens are starting to protest because everybody's scrambling, bleeding money. The number one search in Europe when it comes to energy is, where can I buy firewood?
Starting point is 00:39:28 We are being pushed back to the stone age. It's an absolute disaster for Europe and the Western way of life because it is coming here. I don't even know right now because we haven't added update in about five minutes. It's leaving for Westminster Hall. Okay. So it's leaving for that right now, which is very exciting. I'm surprised. Has anybody put a seismograph in where the coffin is to see how much it's rumbling around?
Starting point is 00:40:50 I mean, are these roads good for that? You know, I really understand pomp and circumstance, but what is this costing? Can you imagine the final bill for this? Starting point is 00:45:14 and former recovering investment banker that actually can break things down and talk and explain what things mean to the regular schlubs of America. Welcome, Carol. How are you? You know, just enjoying the Biden economy. How are you? Oh, my gosh. That party yesterday was absolutely incredible, incredible. I mean, it was surreal. They were celebrating that the interest rate is coming down. Can you explain what happened with the interest rate numbers, the CPI numbers?
Starting point is 00:45:49 Well, James Taylor was there. So we've seen fire and we've seen rain. We saw a very hot CPI report as well yesterday. As we know, the CPI is one of the measures of inflation. It measures sort of the consumer of inflation. We do know that it's understated because they have messed with it for the last, you know, several decades to underplay it, but it's still a benchmark that we use to sort of compare. It was considered hot by all expectations. We knew there was going to be some decline in the headline number because of the sharp decline in gasoline prices. Wait, wait, wait. But could you explain why the price of gasoline is going down? Sure. So before we get to the nitty gritty, so there are a couple of reasons why gasoline is coming down.
Starting point is 00:46:39 Some of it was our president pulling a little bit of a stunt and pulling oil out of our emergency reserves and putting it out into the market to kind of depress it. Some of it was artificial because the gas taxes have been on hiatus in certain locales. But the biggest reason that the gasoline prices are coming down is because the price of oil is coming down. And the biggest reason of the price of oil is coming down is because the price of oil got too high. It was just pure demand destruction. There's this saying in the commodities market that the best cure for high prices is high prices. And that's what we saw not only here in the United States where people maybe decided not to take a road trip or to reroute their lives, you know, so that they're not using as much. energy and particularly gasoline, but also on a global stage. Obviously, the prices are going
Starting point is 00:47:32 through the roof, as we know in Europe, completely self-inflicted. But, again, they're having to make those same choices. And then China, as we've discussed previously, is having its own issues and particularly with parts of that country being under lockdown and being a top consumer of oil. They weren't using it. So the demand destruction is that reason, that big reason, that big reason that we had a decrease in oil and then decreasing gas. Just confirm that this is a good way to look at the words demand destruction, because you'll hear people say, well, what we're looking for is some demand destruction in the oil prices and blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:48:09 And, you know, they just kind of goes over people's heads. And I described it today. Every time you hear demand destruction, think, put your name. So Carol Roth, your bank account at, let's say, Bank of America, what they're looking. what they're looking for, what we're really looking for is Carol Roth's bank account at Bank of America to be destroyed. So you don't have the money to go and buy the things, correct? They're looking to price things so crazy that you can't, you can afford it. Yeah, it's the outgrowth of high prices that basically Carol Roth says, you know, I just,
Starting point is 00:48:49 I'm looking at my bank accounts. It's being destroyed and there's no way that I can go on that road trip. So I'm just not going to be one of those people in the market who is purchasing gasoline this month. I'm going to take a reprieve. I'm going to work from home. And that's, you know, that's part of the whole story of the, you know, the Federal Reserve, what they're trying to do to, quote, unquote, slow down the economy and engineer their, another big, you know, kind of financial speak, a soft landing trying to quell inflation without tanking the economy. and that's their toolkit is all about demand destruction. Correct.
Starting point is 00:49:27 They don't want the consumer to purchase. They don't want businesses to make investments. And we've already had two quarters of negative growth. So if they're trying to get the economy to slow down, you know what that means? That means more contraction. Okay. So that's why gas is going down. And that was really the only thing that went down, right?
Starting point is 00:49:48 we had food prices skyrocketed. Yeah, it's crazy. I saw a stat that they put in there, that food in the house. It was something like they were at the highest level since the late 1970s, 79, I think. So we got, you know, hot numbers in food, in shelter,
Starting point is 00:50:07 and medical care services. You know, this isn't like ancillary stuff. This isn't like, you know, the fancy clothes. Right. This is the stuff that you're, you know, you need to be able to live your life. And it was the fact that we thought maybe that the lower energy prices would flow through, no pun intended, a little bit more of the economy. But it's just shown that we have a very broad base in terms of inflation.
Starting point is 00:50:33 It's not just coming from that one pocket. It's not just Putin's fault, Glenn. And that is going to take a long time to come back down to normalize levels. So we have something else to add on top of it. And you can call it climate change or just a bad season or whatever. But I was talking to my aunt who was like 85 years old yesterday. Quite a conversation. I said, anyway, she was canning yesterday.
Starting point is 00:51:00 And she was like there have been no peaches, no beans. She said, we planted our bean garden three times. We had hard time finding even seeds for it. There is, we are facing a real crisis just because the crops didn't come through. and that's happening globally. You add to that all of the other problems. We haven't seen, we're now just about to get into the time where we would be using this summer's crops, correct? So food prices still have a long way to go in the up direction, don't they?
Starting point is 00:51:39 They do. And that's part of the issue, you know, why I'm sort of banging my head against the wall in terms of a lot of these discussion points. Because as we talked about the demand destruction that the Fed policy is trying to enact, our issue is the broad-based supply issue. And as you mentioned, one of the areas that is undersupplied is food. Part of that, as you mentioned, because of weather events. Some of that because of fertilizer shortages. Some of it because of byproducts from energy that go into drying grains.
Starting point is 00:52:11 Some of that because of war in Ukraine. But all of these things happening at the same time are, creating those shortages. And again, as the consumer decides what's to substitute, they may be able to substitute to a lower cost food, but they can't substitute food. And that is going to continue to be an issue all across the globe. Well, they can eat bugs. I mean, they're supposed to be very, very tasty. Okay. Hang on just a second. I want to ask you a couple of things about the Fed and what they're planning on doing. And I'm reading some disturbing things that I would just like, talk me down from the tree, if you can.
Starting point is 00:52:49 We'll do that in just 60 seconds. Barry wrote in about his experience with Relief Factory, says, I'm a retired Marine, and all those years of my body taking abuse amounted to a lot of aches and pains later in life. But in only two weeks, relief factor took away all of my pain, underlined all of my pain. It is the best investment in the quality of my life I have ever made. Wow. Barry, thank you for your service.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Thank you for putting your your body in the way for our freedom. Thank you. And thanks for giving relief factor try. I'm thrilled that you got your life back. Three week quick start. Just try it. It was developed for you by doctors. It's not a drug.
Starting point is 00:53:32 So you're not going to feel spaced out or anything else. It is a pain relief that comes from the reduction of inflammation in our bodies. Inflammation is where we have most of our pain. And honestly, most of our disease comes. from that as well. Seventy percent of the people who take Relief Factor go on to order more. So try it now. 800 for relief. 800
Starting point is 00:53:54 the number four relief. Get the 1995 three week quick start, developed for you. Relieffactor.com. That's Relieffactor.com. Feel the difference. 10 seconds. Station ID. So a couple of things. Let's
Starting point is 00:54:21 let me start with the Fed. I am reading now that the Fed is going to, you know, raise the rates again. But as astonishing as it seems to me that we're at these, historically speaking, low rates and it's going to stop the heart of the economy. They're saying now the next rate or rate hike or two could just put us into a tailspin. Do you believe that? I do.
Starting point is 00:54:53 If you go back to Janet Yellen, our quote unquote esteemed Treasury Secretary, the one who told us that inflation was going to be transitory and that they needed to get information on $600 e-commerce transactions to keep the billionaires in chat, Glenn. She was on one of those weekend shows, and she said basically that the Fed is going to need a great deal of skill and also some luck to achieve this soft landing, trying to bring down and. inflation without taking the economy. Well, we know on the skill side, we know that they don't have the skills. They were behind the curve in terms of raising the rates to begin with. They waited until we were at historic 40-year highs before they even started thinking about reversing course. So obviously, we know that's probably not the skill part of it. The luck part of it isn't on our side either because they don't have the right tool set. As we've been talking about this supply side versus demand side and the demand destruction,
Starting point is 00:55:58 their tool set in terms of raising the target interest rate as well as potentially reducing the assets on their balance sheet, although I don't know that they're ever going to get around to that. That again is to destroy demand. It's to have the consumer slow purchases, it's to have businesses, slow investments. First, they have the government that's working against them on that. The government policy is spending more. So those two things are at odds, which makes absolutely no sense.
Starting point is 00:56:27 But the problem we have now isn't a demand side issue. It's a supply side issue. As we've been talking about, we have broad under supply. So unless the Fed knows how to print labor, print food, print oil, print housing, they are not going to be able to solve for that delta, that distance between supply and demand without completely slowing the economy me to the point that we are in a severe recession. And that is what the market is signaling, both the stock market and the bond market right now is saying, boy, we don't have the confidence
Starting point is 00:57:02 that the Fed not only has the tools, but that they aren't going to put us in a worse situation. And on top of that, then you also have the global economy, you know, in Tatters as well, which is not a lot of luck. So I'm not real bullish on the skill and luck of the Fed right now. So I was in Italy last week. And just talk to people. You know, you sit at a restaurant or whatever, and we just talk to people. And one of the more disturbing trends that I heard was, you know, that things are getting really bad. And one person described it to me as the winds of revolution are sweeping Europe.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Because, and it's fascinating. Everyone knew it was the same problem we have here. the elites are going in one direction and the people are going in another the people are saying give it back to us and the elites are saying give it all to us and that's not going to last and i kept hearing um things like we're just going to have to learn to uh that that the glory days of having things that you wanted and easy lives are over can you describe what that means that american are just going to have to live a different kind of life. Yeah, I mean, it's so frustrating that, you know, we have the leading economy in the world, and you have all of these first world countries that really have spent time using their technology to help other countries and to help lift up human flourishing around the globe. I mean, if you think about China and what we've done in terms of the extreme poverty,
Starting point is 00:58:47 they're lifting out 90% of their population from extreme population from extreme. poverty because they were able to trade with us and basically suck up some of our capitalism into their communist system. That's what we should be doing. We should be taking that leadership saying that we know how to do things the best way and we're going to help everybody flourish. Instead, you have these elites saying, no, we want to be this to be a third world country and we want to be in a dictatorship where us at the top have our own set of rules and have all the power and you just suffer and you're going to have to suck it up. And, you know, unfortunately, there are some people who will go along with that and go, yeah, you know, crisis, we must do
Starting point is 00:59:29 this. We're all in this together. Kind of like what happened in COVID. But we should have learned over the last two years that they don't have our best, you know, outcomes at, yeah, outcomes at heart and that they will do anything like, you know, completely do anything they can to get and usurp that power. And we've already seen, you know, smaller amounts of civil unrest in developed countries, whether it was the freedom convoy or in the Netherlands with the farmers. And, you know, you're right that this could end up becoming a much bigger issue, which, you know, if it changes the tide, you know, in a sense may not be the worst outcome.
Starting point is 01:00:10 Not that obviously I ever want to see, you know, any sort of violence or unrest. but we need to change the tenor and the people need to take back common sense and sanity here. So the one thing that kind of makes sense to me is, you know, if you're somebody wants control of things, you need to control medicine, they do, they need to control education, they do, but they need to control energy. You know, I'm seeing this happening in Europe because they're ahead of us. and they're all, people are going to freeze to death this winter. They will freeze to death. And people won't be able to pay their power bill, which will put the energy companies into distress.
Starting point is 01:00:54 And they won't have the money to do it because people aren't paying their bills, et cetera, et cetera. And I just think the government will step in and say, they couldn't get it done. This needs to be done by the government. And you could see the West just taking and absorbing all of the government. all of our energy companies. Do you think that's a possibility? Because I think it's likely, at least in Europe. I mean, so if you think about the desire to nationalize, control, have sort of a public-private partnership, at least in the U.S., California is sort of our incubator for that. And they're starting to test that in a lot of different rounds. They just put forth that Fast Recovery Act, which is going to be a state
Starting point is 01:01:38 counsel on fast food. So they are going to manage the fast food industry. And again, that is a step to try to nationalize these industries. I definitely see a place we've already been hearing from the U.S. and abroad about things like price caps. We have a big problem in Europe in terms of the way they have kind of financed themselves in a potential collapse of some of the energy companies and utilities out there. So yes, you're going to have them, the governments come in with a bailout and then that may use that as an excuse. Well, we're bailing them out anyway. They can't manage this. We need to take this over. So, you know, whether it's food, whether it's energy, whether it's any aspect of our economic freedom, these crises are their touchpoint. And again, self-afflicted
Starting point is 01:02:27 crises, the ones that they created in order to say, we created the problem, but don't look at that. We're going to fix it for you. Carol, will you do me a few? favor. I'd like to do a, I'd like to do a special with just a group of experts that can tell the average person what's coming and, and how do we deal with it? I mean, it's, it's so overwhelming to the average person. And I don't think because people make it so complex, because it is complex, but they make it so complex that they, they don't even think about breaking it down into smaller bite sizes that people can understand. So can you find a bunch of people that you really think get it that maybe could sit around
Starting point is 01:03:12 in a roundtable and we could have a conversation about all this? I would love to be honored to and I will be in touch. Okay, good. Thank you. Carol, we'll talk again. Carol Roth, make sure that you're following her. She is really, really spot on.
Starting point is 01:03:28 You can find her at Carol Roth.com. Starting point is 01:05:56 Who is this? It's bad. I'm here in Westminster, Windsor, Windsor Castle. In Windsor Castle. At the Windsor Castle. Wait a minute. You were just sitting in the same. studio just right next to me a minute ago. I don't have time to explain how I got here.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Just know that I'm here with the queen right now. Our continuing coverage of wall to wall, non-stop till your eyes bleed coverage of the casket moving of Queen Elizabeth. What they're doing right now is a kind of where's Waldo's sort of situation where they move it so often. Really? Nobody really knows where the queen is. Right. Okay. It's kind of creepy to be looking at a dead body anyway. So I don't know why people are. Yeah. Just keep moving it.
Starting point is 01:06:43 Okay. So now she's in Westminster Hall, which is what exactly? I mean, I'm sorry. Westminster Hall. Yeah. What's done there in Westminster Hall? This is where they make a lot of pudding. They make pudding there.
Starting point is 01:06:59 They make pudding. I didn't know that. And ship it directly to America. Wow. Or Joe Biden. Really? Okay. But I can't.
Starting point is 01:07:05 give the exact location. Really? Right now. Right now. The coordinates or the precise latitude and longitude because we are trying to keep it secret. But it's somewhere there in Westminster. Now, I'm looking at a picture and there's a couple of things. First of all, I've never seen the uniform
Starting point is 01:07:21 of the guards that are standing there. They seem to have very large, pointy hats. Those are dunce caps with a mop. Is what those are, Glenn. They don't call it that, but that's what those Those are dunce caps with a mop.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Okay. I've never seen that kind of... Very specialized hats. The British are quite proud of them. And they only bring them out for special occasions. Like this. Like the death of a queen. Okay.
Starting point is 01:07:52 That's why we never see. Because I've seen like the other guys, they've taken those big round black hats. You know, those guard, you know, the big like, Wizard of Oz hats. Yeah, those are cute tips. Those are what? Those are cute. They're cute. No.
Starting point is 01:08:06 Yeah. Where do you think the name comes? from the queen, the queen and, uh, uh, uh, Q-tips. So, for sure, if you were to say the full name of a Q-tip, it would be the queen tip. It would be queen tip. Yeah. Huh. Yeah. And that would be the top of the, the guy who's protecting. Huh. I didn't, I didn't, I didn't know that. So, uh, what happens, uh, what happens next? Well, next they're going to move her to, uh, another location, which is also going to be secret. But that's about five, I understand it's about five yards from where she currently reside.
Starting point is 01:08:39 Really? On Monday, they're actually going to put her in a hole. They're going to put her in a hole? Yes. You mean in the ground? In the ground. In the ground. A hole in the ground. And will she remain there? No. No. She will not. I'll be moving. They'll be moving her. Another couple weeks. I think it's a month. I think you're going to wait a whole month before they move her.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Very good. So she'll be there. She will not stay in that location. Okay. This is so bad. This is what they do with their monarchs. This is what they do. They just continually dig them up and move them in new places.
Starting point is 01:09:14 I did not. Yeah. I didn't know that. Well, you're American. Yeah. Well, you are too. That's true. But I'm here now.
Starting point is 01:09:22 You're there. Aren't you being a little loud? I mean, it's kind of, okay. I'm sorry. Okay. All right. So those hats, I can't get past those hats. They are nice.
Starting point is 01:09:32 They're really nice. They're really nice. Yeah, they're very nice. You're glad you noticed that. Yeah, well, you know, I'm an American. Right. Oh, look at the other guy. The other guy right behind the guy with a hat.
Starting point is 01:09:44 See, he's got like a Mary Poppins hat, you know? That's rude, Glenn. I'm sorry. Don't be making fun of this. Okay, you're right. You're right. You know, I will say that, out of all of the, you know, figures that are public figures, she's probably one of the best for the Western culture in the last hundred years.
Starting point is 01:10:07 I mean, she's, I mean, we're seeing people cry along the way. And I probably would be, too, if I were English and had grown up. You'd be crying over the money that they've spent on her, that's for sure. Yeah. How much, uh... Well, she had, she made 98 million euros a year. Pardon me? 98 million euros per year.
Starting point is 01:10:29 free here. That was her salary? Yes, that was her salary. That will be Charles the third or whatever he is. Yeah. That will be his salary now. Is that the official? It is three? You're sure? Yeah. Charles III. Okay. That means there's been two other Charles. Is that what that means? That's what I understand. So was there Charles the first, then Charles Jr.? Yes. Or is that a fast food restaurant? No, that's Carl's Jr. And then there was. Well, you just showed how American you are. Wow. Right. Right.
Starting point is 01:11:06 So 98 million euros a year was her. I can't imagine taxpayers not being happy about that. Yeah. Well, she worked hard for that money. She worked really, really hard. She went to several different. You know how they use those big scissors to cut ribbons? You know how heavy those things are?
Starting point is 01:11:24 I don't. I've never. Really heavy scissors. Especially if you're 90 years old. Yeah, right. So she would actually cut ribbons with giants. She would cut ribbons with thin scissors. Was that her main giant?
Starting point is 01:11:38 She'd wear the crown while she did it. Wow. It was really super. And I hear that's heavy. It is heavy. Yeah. Weighs over 80 pounds. Over 80 pounds.
Starting point is 01:11:47 Yeah, those family jewels. It's like a pretty, no, that's Prince Andrew. Oh, yeah. Oh my. So, so, yeah, so she would, like, where would she cut ribbons? Like in grocery store openings Payless shoes When they were open
Starting point is 01:12:05 When they were open They still had locations She'd cut the ribbon for the opening So she lost a lot of gigs When that grew up I have to go Because people are looking at me Okay
Starting point is 01:12:25 I can't be left I hear the confidence No Yeah It's very appropriate Okay thank you From London, Pat Gray joining us just on our continuing non-stop coverage of the Queen's funeral. I feel kind of bad about that, but not enough to not do it again.
Starting point is 01:12:53 Oh. We're not making fun of her. No. It's the coverage. Yeah. Well, and the hats. And the hats. Yes. But that's not her. Again, she's not wearing the hat. No. And what was she going to do?
Starting point is 01:13:09 Say, hey, 98 million euros is too much? No. No, she's not going to say that. No, of course not. It's not her place to say that. Okay. Back in just a minute. Let me tell you about life lock. You have to be really careful keeping your social sharing to a minimal. check your financial accounts, your credit reports. It's they don't spend the time worrying and doing things that they're not the expert in.
Starting point is 01:14:07 They will hire somebody to do that. Now, that's a millionaire. You know, it's like, hey, jeeves, what's going on with my internet accounts? This is something that everybody can afford. To prevent identity theft, you're hiring people that will stand guard. Now, they can't watch all windows and all doors because there's, new windows and new doors every day. And you never know where the queen might be lying in state.

Starting point is 01:14:56 So there's a young conservative commentator in Great Britain that took aim at American leftist this week for mocking the British for mourning Queen Elizabeth who died last week. I hate to bring this up, as many people will say, didn't you just do that? And I would like to believe no. I would like to believe. I'd like to believe. And I think it's true. It is true. We're mocking the coverage.
Starting point is 01:15:47 Yes, we're mocking the coverage. If I were British, I would absolutely care. Yeah. Oh, yeah. They loved her. I do care about her because I think she is a huge loss. Yes. But I don't think most Americans, you know, they've got a love affair with, you know, with the monarchy in some regard.
Starting point is 01:16:10 And they loved Diana. Love Diana. Love Diana. Followed her like crazy. Yeah. And I think the queen is just, she is the end of an era. And maybe the end of the monarch. No, Charles would actually be the end of the monarchy.
Starting point is 01:16:23 But, you know, it's the end of an era. The line that is now starting to move to go see her is longer than two miles. Wow. Yeah. Wow. If you were there, would you go? Fish and chips. Are they serving fish and chips in the line?
Starting point is 01:16:48 No, I'm just saying you could watch it on TV at some pub and have fish and chips. I think I'm watching on TV with fish and chips. I think you are. I would actually go as it's a, it's just a monumental piece of history that I don't think everybody is really understanding you. Anyway, Sophie Cochran, she has been on Sky News. She has 120,000 Twitter followers. and she took umbrage to use a word that only the monarchy would use. She took umbrage with some of the leftists that are mocking the mourners.
Starting point is 01:17:30 And she tweeted, Dear Americans who mock us for mourning our beloved queen, she dedicated her entire life to her duty and our country, even two days before her death. you mourned a man who pointed a gun at a pregnant woman by burning cities to the ground. We're not the same. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 01:17:55 Wow. That is the quintessential mic drop. She's right. Yeah. She is. She's right. She really is. You know the difference is?
Starting point is 01:18:06 This isn't being used. Well, I guess it is. It's monarchy propaganda, I would imagine. some would say that but this isn't being used for political purposes no she was strictly anti-political she wasn't political that was part of her job was not to be yeah i think there's a law that she she can't she cannot be involved in it yeah she cannot be involved in it um and uh i think that's really good for that role that's why i think everybody liked her yeah you know she would just say the things they might be hard at times like hey maybe we shouldn't be such uh
Starting point is 01:18:41 I don't know. Crumbums. Maybe, you know, maybe we shouldn't be the kind of people that we're becoming. Maybe we should try to shoot for a higher standard as a person. And so I think everybody, you know, pretty much liked her, except those that pay tax in England. I'd actually like to talk to Sophie because she is, she's been, she backs Israel pretty hard.
Starting point is 01:19:09 and it's kind of it's kind of gotten dicey for her she's been on the receiving end of a ton of abuse people saying that they want to smash a bottle in her face and throw acid on her face and oh my gosh yeah yeah so geez anyway I think the queen went through a hard time
Starting point is 01:19:35 right after Diana died because they didn't respond to it right. Do you remember that? They did not respond at all for, I think it was four days. Yeah. And the British people were really upset about that. Wait, wait, wait. You're saying elites didn't read the common people right?
Starting point is 01:19:55 That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah. Surprise. But then I, the queen came out and was really strong with it and I think kind of smoothed it over. And they've seemed to have loved her ever. since. And that was a turning point, really, in the monarchy, according to some, you know,
Starting point is 01:20:15 British experts that they, the monarchy was shaky on really shaky ground around then, around that time. And she kind of saved it. Imagine. I mean, and I don't think they get it because they've been around for so long. Imagine being, making 98 million dollars and you don't create anything. Yeah. You don't create anything. And you're being paid by the average person. And, you know, I think if the royal family would kind of look at that, they might go,
Starting point is 01:20:49 Oh, you know what, you know what. But they just think that they're preserving, you know, history, which they are, but, you know, they're also living a sweet life. I mean, if the Smithsonian was, you know, being paid $98 million, okay, preserving history. Uh-huh. Okay. Whatever. However, if all of them were living that lavish lifestyle as well, I would have a problem.
Starting point is 01:21:15 I'd have a problem with that. Big time. Yeah. Okay. Tonight, don't forget, tonight at 9 p.m. The Wednesday night special, Europe has a major energy problem. Big problem for America, but big problem faster for Europe. I think Europe is in for a real rude awakening.
Starting point is 01:21:39 You know, they got rid of all of their power. They did the same thing we're doing. Pete Buttigieg has now said, you know, what California did saying, you know, no cars, no gasoline cars, you know, other states are following. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. So what are you saying? Well, maybe we should think about this federally. That is the end, the end of demand.
Starting point is 01:22:03 domestic oil, gas, all of it. That's the end of it. And that's where we're headed. And you saw what's happening in Europe. It is only going to get worse. And it's coming here. It's a disaster for the American way of life. Tonight, join me for Lights Out, how Democrats are creating an American energy crisis. It is not just the problem. The second half of the program is a solution, a in-writing, fact-driven solution. Starting point is 01:22:58 Being fiscally responsible, it means that you don't buy. a cyber truck, you know, when you see it. And you're like, yeah, sign me up. I'd be no problem. That's a bad idea. Anyway, being fiscally responsible is really important. And if you're a homeowner, you are probably paying a high percentage on your mortgage. If it's adjustable, you've got to stop that. Oh, America. I want to start this hour with some really good news about your fellow Americans. We begin there in 60 seconds. As Americans, we share a bond that is really sacred, a tie that binds us, always has, always been there in times of trouble. I pray that it is still with us in times of real trouble.
Starting point is 01:25:07 21 years ago, outside forces of evil came to destroy us, and we gathered together, and we were that shining city on a hill like I've never seen before. many among us decided that they would go and fight to protect that freedom, many at home, fight still today in the streets of our cities to protect those of us who share the idea of freedom and law and order. That is the legacy of 9-11. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues the legacy of protecting those people today. When a first responder or military service member doesn't come home and young children are left behind, tunnel detain. Tulled Towers pays off their mortgage to lift the financial burden and bring their family stability. Help the heroes in their families. Join Tunnel to Towers on its mission to do good in their honor.
Starting point is 01:26:00 Donate $11 a month. $11 a month automatically at T2.2.org. That's T the number 2t.org. Tunnel to Towers, do your homework. You will find their incredible, incredible charity. It's T, the number 2T.org. All right, new poll that has just been released. According to a survey of 1,300 U.S. adults, conducted by I. and I, Tip, between September 7th through the 9th, nearly two-thirds of Americans, 62% agreed that the White House attacks on so-called MAGA Republicans increases the division in our country. Only 29% disagreed. Minorities of Americans also agreed that Biden's attacks on MAGA Republicans endangers America's First Amendment rights and was a politically biased use of office.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Now listen to this. The poll also asked respondents to agree or disagree with the statement, President Biden's characterization of MAGA Republicans increases division in the country. A total of 62% agreed, 37% percent. percent strongly agreed. Here's where it's fascinating. Self-identified Democrats agreed with the statement more than Republicans or independents.
Starting point is 01:27:33 Wow. Yeah. Self-identified Democrats. Fully 73 percent of Democrats agreed that Biden's remarks, 73 percent. Further divided the country, including 43 percent, who strongly agreed. Only 19% disagreed. There's that magic 19 number again. And 9% strongly disagreed.
Starting point is 01:27:57 More independents agreed with a statement than Republicans as well. 57% said Biden's remarks sowed further division, including 34% who agreed strongly. 29% disagreed. Close to a majority of Republicans, 50% agreed. Now, why is that? What do you think that is, Pat? they're used to hearing it. It didn't...
Starting point is 01:28:24 Maybe. So it didn't move the needle at all because they get it all the time. You don't want to be put on a list. You don't trust the caller? So, yes. Right. And that could be. Yep.
Starting point is 01:28:37 Second statement of the poll asks Americans to respond as to whether President Biden's characterization of MAGA Republicans endangers America's First Amendment rights of free speech and free assembly. a majority, 55% agreed with a statement, 34 disagreed. Democrats agreed more than Republicans or independence to that statement. A significant majority, 65% of Democrats agreed with a statement. A plurality of independence, 45% agreed with a statement, and Republicans were evenly split on the issue.
Starting point is 01:29:12 45% agree, 45% disagree. I don't understand this. Yeah. I mean, it's good news, except for, you know, for what's happening to us. And I question why you would answer that way. But good news for our belief in our Democratic friends. President Biden's characterization of MAGA Republicans is uncouth. This is the other statement.
Starting point is 01:29:43 Maga Republicans is uncouth and politically biased use of the Office of President. President, Democrats led the way again. Fully two-thirds, 66% agreed. Only 22% of Democrats disagreed. Another plurality of independence, 47 agreed, 34 disagreed. And a near majority of Republicans, 49 also agreed while 39% disagreed. I honestly, this is the most confusing poll. Yeah, that's weird.
Starting point is 01:30:14 I've ever seen. but I is it that I want to believe that it's accurate I mean at least on the Democratic side probably you're saying that I mean there's there's something going on here in this poll
Starting point is 01:30:30 and that something is why are the Republicans so low on that and I could I could hypothesize for a million reasons but and they make sense but maybe I'm just, I want the, I want the average Democrat to be saying those things.
Starting point is 01:30:52 I want them to go, yeah, that was ridiculous, really bad. Yeah, but the weird thing is we almost never see that. But, but, you know, the algorithm doesn't put that to the front. The, the reporters don't put that in front. Yeah. So you don't see it because it's the average opinion. maybe I don't know if you have a better idea call 888727 BECK Donald Trump is a little upset as all Americans should be
Starting point is 01:31:31 when they went after the pillow guy last night Mike Lendell and why would you have a warrant for the pillow guy why why would you have a warrant for the FBI to surround his vehicle at a Hardy's drive-thru and force him to turn over his cell phone. What crime is he being accused of? Believing in a fraudulent election? That's not a crime.
Starting point is 01:32:01 So what is the alleged crime even? I read the article several times I was looking for it. Yeah, I didn't see it. What was the purpose of that? Where's the probable cause? Why have you done this? I didn't even, I didn't see it. Is it because he, he,
Starting point is 01:32:18 believes and talks about the conspiracy in the in the election yeah what's up with that that's bizarre if americans can't believe and talk about their belief anymore it's not america anymore no i read an article that said if for those who believe that america is still free and we're not living in a autocratic society or you're you're being fooled you're living in a fantasy land but i mean we are at the very beginning of it it still can be turned around but you're you know, hurry, hurry. So they, the FBI apparently following him, you know, why at a Hardy's restaurant? Why?
Starting point is 01:32:57 Right. Right. And here's, why not just call his attorney who his attorney said, Mike said, hang on, hang on, hang on, wait, I got to call my attorney. Called his attorney on his phone. And the attorney said, you might as well just turn it over. Let's give it to him. He turned over the phone. Here's the explanation that's in the article.
Starting point is 01:33:16 Lindel said the search warrant was likely. related to his claims about voting machines manufactured by the Dominion Company. Well, there's no crime there. He's been one of the foremost proponents of the conspiracy theory that the election was stolen from President Donald Trump through the use of progenland
Starting point is 01:33:32 voting machine. Again, no crime. So, how are you doing this? Man, we just see so many things like this that are unconstitutional between this and civil asset forfeiture and, you know, You know, being shut down and silenced on social media, it's just not the America. It is a Gestapo.
Starting point is 01:33:59 Not the America we grew up in. So there's a couple of other things. I don't know if you saw this on Tucker Carlson, but a mom and a wife from New Jersey in a suburb in New Jersey. Her daughter walks into her room. She's asleep. And she says, Mom, there are armed FBI. agents at the door. And she said, you know, I hadn't committed any crime.
Starting point is 01:34:28 I knew that. But when I got there, let me quote her, I was terrified. Be honest with you, when my daughter woke me up to tell me that there were three armed FBI officers at my door, I thought she was joking. I immediately tried to throw some clothes on. I called my husband. I was crying. My knees were shaking.
Starting point is 01:34:44 And even though I knew I had done nothing wrong after seeing Joe Biden's speech the night before, I thought, oh, my God, this is political. She was in a frightened state. She said, as I was walking toward this door, she thought, they could just take me out of here in handcuffs. Am I not coming home? She said, I went outside, said, gentlemen, you are scaring me. They proceeded to tell me they were given an anonymous tip that I was at the Capitol on January 6th.
Starting point is 01:35:12 Now, is that the way our FBI handles things to send four armed FBI agents to the door of a woman? you got an anonymous tip on? A mom? That's just some neighbor who's not a Trump fan that knows that she is. And called the FBI on her. Yeah, I think she might have been at January 6th.
Starting point is 01:35:37 Who does that sound like? That sounds like, oh, Nazi Germany. Look, I just want you to know, I'm on your side. And I want you to know, I think my neighbor might be part of it. this is a really once we really truly lose faith in our neighbors get to know your neighbors get to know them especially the ones that don't necessarily agree with you get to know them um because that's
Starting point is 01:36:10 really frightening she said listen to this she said nevertheless i invited them into my home so i could look at my phone and my calendar i have been called I have called the FBI office in Newark just to document or know for sure it was really FBI agents at my home. And it was. And they said it was an anonymous tip and wouldn't tell me anything else. Here's the thing. I'm going to do a... By the way, she wasn't there.
Starting point is 01:36:38 No, I know she wasn't. Yeah, she wasn't even there. But an anonymous tip said she was. Yeah. Yeah. So here's the thing. And by the way, they can't, they can't... I mean, they have record of every single single.
Starting point is 01:36:54 phone that was in the area. Did you have one with her name on it? I mean, that'd be interesting to find out, because I know you have all of the information of everyone that was there. What was this? What was this? And what led you to believe that that anonymous tip was enough to have you, what, so what, if she was at January 6th?
Starting point is 01:37:16 What does that even mean? This is just to intimidate people and for us to tell you about it and to have you get scared. Do not fear them. Do not fear them. They are overstepping their bounds and the truth will prevail if we remain calm, cool, collected, peaceful, act like Christ, but a little bit of an attorney, Jesus. Let's, you know, Jesus would be kind, but he also would know the letter of the law and he would then just ask questions. I'm sorry, officer. I mean, I think you're supposed to have a warrant.
Starting point is 01:38:00 Do you have a warrant? Okay, no. I mean, I don't want to make any trouble. I don't want to make this even harder for you guys, let alone me. But I need to see a warrant for any of that. I can tell you, I'd love to share with you, you know, all of this information you need. but should I have an attorney? There are things that you need to ask them,
Starting point is 01:38:28 and I really honestly don't know what all of them are off the top of my head, but we're going to do a special on this. There are ways and things you have to ask and do to make sure that you're protected. And the last thing you want to do is invite them in and say, yeah, come on in, because then you would have invited them, okay? even if you have nothing, remember, the average American now commits three felonies a day, because if you started reading the law books, the U.S. Code today, it would take you about 10,000 years to finish it. Okay. It's ridiculous. So if they want to get you, they can get you.
Starting point is 01:39:14 So you just have to be very, very careful. coming in either next month or the month after, we're going to do a very intense special where we're going to bring in the experts and we're going to bring in people like this that have had a problem and dissect it. What did she do right? What did she do wrong? How can she do better? What do we need to know about the Constitution? You need to know what your rights are and how to protect yourself.
Starting point is 01:39:41 And it's something that we all need. We'll be doing that probably next month on Blaze TV. Don't forget tonight, Blaze TV. The energy crisis that is coming. Lights out is the name of the special tonight. You don't want to miss it. But it comes with information on what we can and must do about it tonight at 9 p.m. Only on Blaze TV.
Starting point is 01:40:05 Join us, blazTV.com. Use the promo code Glenn 20 and save $20 off your subscription. If you have, if you've buried your head in the sand on the news and of inflation, I understand it. You're probably sleeping better than you would otherwise. I mean, you know, but every time you go to the grocery store, you see it. And this affects more people than monkey pox. And what's anybody doing about it? What people are doing about it is the people who created the problem are saying,
Starting point is 01:40:38 leave us alone and we'll fix it. I know your fix. No, thank you. I want you to make sure that you have something left when everything else has lost its value. May I suggest gold has never lost its value. Gold will always have worth. It always has. It is the gold standard for a reason.
Starting point is 01:41:07 It is what has been used since early biblical times. And when countries do what we're doing now, they always return to gold. All right. Goldline has enhanced their Labor Day weekend special for this week only. Every role of the new Benjamin Franklin Stand in Love quarter ounce gold rounds, if you buy a roll of those, you'll also receive 50 of the one ounce copper rounds and 25 of the mind your business silver bars at no additional cost. This is phenomenal, not seeing them do anything like this.
Starting point is 01:41:44 The Benjamin Franklin round is something that I designed with Goldline and the Canadian Mint, and they are definitely not to be used for common. I mean, you wouldn't go in and use that. It's not a replacement for currency by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a collector's coin that maybe, you know, if things get really crazy, and you have something, you know, you have a collector's coin like this, and they're like, hey, I'm a big collector of silver like that. That's great.
Starting point is 01:42:09 you could maybe trade it for something. I'm just saying, you should check them out now. Goldline.com. Goldline.com. 866 Goldline. Call them. They're waiting for you. Just ask for the information.
Starting point is 01:42:21 You don't have to make a decision today. 866 Goldline. 10 seconds, station ID. What is happening with that poll? Let me go to Todd in Ohio. Hello, Todd. Hi, Glenn. Hi.
Starting point is 01:42:46 About the pollsters, you know, they know what goes on about every zip code in this country. and they'll know which zip codes have more Maga type Republicans and which have more rhino type. And so I think they've pinpointed the rhino type areas to depress the Republican vote in November. Isn't that interesting? That's a good quote. By the way, they more than zip code. They know each house.
Starting point is 01:43:16 You can buy lists now. You can tell if they voted and who they voted for. It's an amazing algorithm. Jason in Minnesota. Hello, Jason. Yeah, I think that a lot of Republicans don't trust these polls anymore. And myself, when I get these polls, I just, I'm a blue-collar construction worker, but I turn into a Democrat with an MD.
Starting point is 01:43:43 And then I just tell them that I, you know, have more conservative views about it. And they're with the pollsters. So you're not, you're thinking again, the second call, it doesn't think that Republicans were telling a truth or something like that. Tom in Ohio. Hello, Tom. Everybody else has said, I mean, I'm a blue collar everyday worker. And it's just we don't believe anything anymore.
Starting point is 01:44:15 We're lied to all the time to where, why will, you know, why will we even take these polls seriously? You know, if they called me, I doubt that I'd give them a straight up answer. I might, depending on the mood I'm in, or I might just play with them because that seems like that's some of the little things we can do. This is really bad. Thank you, Tom. I appreciate it. I do the same thing.
Starting point is 01:44:33 Victoria, finally, in California. We're not registered Republicans anymore. I mean, I switched. I'm a registered independent. So I think the most conservative people I know now are independent. I mean, I'm reading the news this morning and Lindsay Graham unveils of federal abortion bills. I mean, they're not on our side. Steve Bates always says.
Starting point is 01:44:54 you know, nobody hates you more than Lindsay Grant. And it's true. Nobody hates you more. Mid Romney. Mitt Romney might hate you a little bit more. You know, I would also, Mitch McConnell might also hate you a little more. But Lindsay Graham doesn't like you. That's for sure.
Starting point is 01:45:16 That's for sure. All right. Back. Final half hour next. The Glenn Back program. So Iris wrote in about her dog's experience with Rough Green. She said, day the trial package came, I put my hand out. And I put some in my hand, offered it to my dog Shiloh.
Starting point is 01:45:38 He licked it clean. And ever since then, he gets very anxious about meal time. I'm mixing the bowl rough greens with his kibble. He stands up and begs for his bowl. That's the same thing that Uno did. You're shaking your head too, Pat. That's what your dog did? Yeah, Bell wouldn't even touch your food without the rough green sprinkled on it.
Starting point is 01:45:55 And Uno won't either. It's really great. She said she has more energy now, wants to play more often. This is really great stuff. It's not a dog food. It's a supplement that you put on your dog's food, helps them eat, and it has everything, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, antioxidants, everything they need. And they want to send you that trial pack just to make sure that your dog loves it as much as our dogs does and Shiloh does here with Iris.
Starting point is 01:46:21 Roughgreens.com slash Beck. Free bag. the first trial bag is free. You just pay for shipping. And if your dog likes it, then get the full bag. And just watch the difference in your dog over the months. It's Rough Greens. RUFFF Greens.com slash Beck.
Starting point is 01:46:35 Rough Greens.com slash Beck 833, Glenn 33. Don't forget to use a promo code Glenn 20 to get $20 off your subscription at blaisTV.com. I hate to do it, but I'm going to dead name Fetter Woman. Yeah. Yeah. Fetterman. Not Fetterwoman. Fetterman. Wow. That's offensive.
Starting point is 01:47:11 He's always been a Fetterman, never Fetterwoman. And he can't get pregnant, so Fetterman. Anyway, Lieutenant Governor, Democratic Senate nominee, John Fetterman, gave a speech when he was talking about Dr. Oz for owning multiple real estate holdings. And then failing to provide a full and complete statement of the assets, debts and income as well as any position held. And he was railing about, you know, he asked to report it.
Starting point is 01:47:46 He didn't do it real eloquently, but he was anyway. But he also, and maybe this just slipped his mind because of the stroke. But he also owns eight properties in Braddock, Pennsylvania. What? Yeah, he owns eight himself. Yeah, yeah. And none of the properties appeared on his. disclosure documents either.
Starting point is 01:48:09 So, Wow. Isn't that weird? Yeah. Kind of. Kind of. Yeah. So he's got those going on and he didn't.
Starting point is 01:48:17 But again, maybe he just, you know, maybe he just, he just forgot about them. Yeah, he forgot about him. I mean, we've got to give him a, you know, pass on that one. Also, he is now, he is now being charged, the people are starting to say, maybe he's a Nazi. I mean, he looks like a skinhead, right? Am I right? We all know it white skinheads look like. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:39 Look like him. Well, he's got a shaved head. Shaved head. That's a skin head. Yes. He is the very definition of a skin head. He is. So this skin head also has a, and I didn't know this, but he has his own art gallery.
Starting point is 01:48:55 What? John Federman has an art gallery. Yeah, why do you? He doesn't exactly look like the art gallery type. Yeah, yeah. Well, he has his art gallery. and of course it's aptly named unsmoke systems. Unsmoked systems.
Starting point is 01:49:13 May have named that after the stroke. I'm not sure. But he held an exhibit in 2012 titled I am a Palestinian, featuring an apartheid wall that condemns the Israeli border barrier and saying that it was just another way to steal Palestinian. land. Now, he is said, just because he has an art gallery that, you know, has, you know, I am Palestinian and says that it's an apartheid state.
Starting point is 01:49:51 Doesn't make me anti-Israel. Oh, of course, no. No. No, who is. Well, how would anybody confuse those things? Yeah, especially when the gallery is owned by a literal skinhead. You know what I mean? Right.
Starting point is 01:50:03 So we got we got we got that going for us. Oh, and the Washington examiner is pointing out today that when Federman was the mayor, he saw a black guy jogging in his neighborhood. And he immediately thought, because this is the way white guys will do you, he immediately thought that guy's committing a crime. Now, I don't know if he meant jogging in my neighborhood or if, if, it was just this stereotypical, you know, bigot that says he's black, he's in my neighborhood, only blacks in my neighborhood would be stealing stuff. After all, why is he running? But he saw him jogging and thought he was committing a crime. He didn't call police instead. He chose to follow him in a pickup truck and pull a 20-gauge shotgun on him when he confronted him. So, I'm sure, you know, hmm, that's not what racist do. No.
Starting point is 01:51:06 No. No. No. No. No. No, not at all. Now, one last thing I'd like to point out. I'd like to just to play. Here he is prior to his stroke. Cut 10, please. John Wetzel, who you may or may not know, is our Secretary of Corrections. And I was serving on a panel with him before all this coronavirus took over. Sounds pretty good. Let's go cut. Cut number 11. Here's another one of them. Burgess grassroots campaign of any challenger, Democratic or Republican nationally. And I'm proud to say that we're 90% of Pennsylvania zip codes.
Starting point is 01:51:40 We have an unparalleled level of a... This is him announcing. I mean, pretty good. Fine. Here he is yesterday. Cut 14, please. I'm honored to be standing in the shadow of your amazing building. Do you think of the 10 homes, Dr. Oz have?
Starting point is 01:52:00 has a union hall across their home? No. If you say you think the word of steel worker, what words come to your mind if you say steelworkers? Of all the words that bring to your mind when you hear the word steel workers, does the word pretty tany come to your mind? The word what? I don't.
Starting point is 01:52:25 Prudgeon? That's not a word that's going to come to my mind. I don't know what that word is. is wrong with demanding for uh for what easy uh yeah safe hello kind of their income an easy safe kind of their income now i can't
Starting point is 01:52:52 i mean i can't argue with that no no i can't either no no no but it might be that maybe he's he's not the candidate Pennsylvania you've been looking for we have him we have John Fetter Woman on the phone
Starting point is 01:53:14 apparently hello John John are you John It's not it's not Sean and Zig Heil what I mean Word comes
Starting point is 01:53:28 What Word comes to your mind Sean, when you think Zieg Heil. Is it Pritigin? Because that's the word that comes to my mind is Pritigen. No, I don't. No, I was, I was thinking
Starting point is 01:53:44 Is it Faddlegots? Because sometimes I think the word Fonleggots comes to my mind, Mark. Fott. No, okay, this is Glenn, by the way. Fottlegots? Fottlegots. What is... Are you making fun of the way I said Faddle Gots?
Starting point is 01:54:00 No, I'm just... I'm curious about what word Fomel Gats means. Well, what word comes to your mind when you hear it? Is it predigen? It's really honestly stroke. What's not supposed to mean, Dad? What are you kind of say in there? Are you making fun?
Starting point is 01:54:23 No, I'm not. No. No. No, I'm... I have a thing that happened to me. Right. And you're making fun of it. No, as a, as a, as a, uh, a, uh, a, uh, a, uh, a, uh,
Starting point is 01:54:36 a person who has had many strokes in my family in the past, uh, I wouldn't make fun of that. Uh, but I, but I, I don't, I don't think that you're,
Starting point is 01:54:45 uh, well, it sounds like you can't even get your name right, Sean. It's, it's Glenn. What kind of word comes to your mind when you think Fomel gods? Is it Pritian?
Starting point is 01:54:58 You've already, you've already said this. When? Just a couple of minutes ago on the phone. Well, because you can't answer it. You can't answer. What word comes to your mind when you think prudgeon? What I think printage.
Starting point is 01:55:17 But for me, for me, it's Fomelgone. Okay. Thank you very much. Do you know that Dr. Oz has 10 homes? I do. You have eight. You have eight properties. But they're just, they're not, they're not problem again.
Starting point is 01:55:38 They're not like. Okay, Mark. Okay. I got to go now. Thank you very much. Good talking, to the, really, the dynamo. He is dynamic, isn't he?
Starting point is 01:55:53 Yeah, he is. Very dynamic. Very dynamic. Okay, let me tell you about my Patriot supply. You know, I don't care if all the, you know, bombs have gone off and the land is a steaming pile of rubble. I mean, I do. But my primary question, when we've reached those days, days was, what are we having for dinner?
Starting point is 01:56:15 I mean, I'm still thinking that. I don't know about you. This is the importance of being prepared why you need my Patriot Supply. Starting point is 01:56:41 That was my response. I was like, oh, wow, what? I didn't think of that one. Yeah, and they're like, oh, absolutely. Absolutely. One side or the other is going to do it. This is crazy. This is crazy what's going on.

Starting point is 01:57:21 this is the glenbeck program hey uh for those on a budget you're looking for a new car Ferrari's just come out with their first SUV oh okay yeah it's so it'll seat four people four four an SUV that seats four yeah no That's for Ferrari. That's a huge. Yeah, that's a huge.
Starting point is 01:58:03 Yeah. But it has four-wheel drive and a V-12. Wow. So it'll save you on gas money as well. But, yeah, it's, and I had to look. The base price is $389,000. Oh. But that's, you know, without air conditioning.
Starting point is 01:58:22 You know, you'll need to add some options. Yeah. Oh, man. But it's a limited number, only 3,000. Why wouldn't you make more of those, huh? But you'll get change back from your $400,000 bill. And it'll be great, you know. You'll be great.
Starting point is 01:58:43 When you're at the gas pump, which would be all the time, it would be, you know, it would be nice. So I went over to Italy. I don't know where, you know, someplace. And I have no idea what the name of this town was, this little teeny town in the middle of nowhere. in Italy. And it's the Ferrari factory. It's unbelievable. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:59:07 It's unbelievable. I just show bad. There is a new Ferrari there. Wow. One of one made for a customer in Japan who helped design it. It's the coolest damn looking car I've ever seen in my life. It's that one? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:22 Yeah, that's beautiful. That's beautiful. And it's just a low, low, low price of $10 million. 10 million? $10 million? $10 million. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:36 There's something inherently wrong about paying $10 million for a car. I don't care how much money do you have? That's just wrong. That's too bad. Do you think that's too much? Yeah, I think it's a little excessive. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:59:48 Now, before inflation or inflation adjust to dollars. I'm going to say both. You're going to say both. Really. Huh. Huh. Wow. 10 million.
Starting point is 01:59:56 Wasn't the, you know, what was that, what was the car that was the most expensive car in the world and it was two million just a few years ago? And now they've got $10 million cars. You remember that it was the, it was parked in front of that really nice hotel we used to stay at in when the company had money in Los Angeles. You remember that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Bugatti. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, they've got more. They're more expensive cars in that. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:00:26 But they're, have you seen the new, I mean, I like, I mean, I really like what's happening with the electric cars. I do like that. I mean, I don't think it's really a car. I do, too. I mean. But I really like them. Yeah. I like them too.
Starting point is 02:00:40 If they were practical, I wouldn't mind owning one, but they're just not. They're not practical. No, I'm not going to charge it every 200 miles. That's just ridiculous. It's up to 400 now. Maybe. Oh, yeah, 450 grand. Right.
Starting point is 02:00:55 Yes. But you can get it. And then you still have to charge it for, what is it, eight hours overnight or something? I mean, what is the fastest you can recharge, completely recharge, that $150,000 Tesla? Is it two hours? No, I don't know. I don't know. Fully charge it?
Starting point is 02:01:12 I don't know. I don't know. Until they have, you know, charging stations everywhere that they're, you know, prevalent like gas stations. And it takes you the same amount of time to charge your cars it did to fill up, then I might be in. Or even just even 10 minutes longer. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:29 Fine. That's good. Yeah. By the way, the most expensive car was sold in May 22, just a couple of months ago. A new record for most expensive car ever sold. The 195 Mercedes-Spins 300 SLR goal wing. Lot, something. Some German word. sold at auction for a low low price of $42.5 million. $142 million.
Starting point is 02:02:04 Now, let's talk about getting you into that $10 million. Well, yeah, now it's a bargain, right? I mean, you can do that, or let's just go to Ferrari and pick up 10 of those, you know? Wow. Hmm. I'm trying to get my pickup truck. uh just fell open you know uh i was hauling a trailer and it fell open and uh something was wrong with the electronics blah blah blah i it's been in the shop for month month and a half uh can't
Starting point is 02:02:38 really can't really get any of the parts for it but they gave it back to me and said you know you don't you don't have a you don't you don't have a uh you know a door there on the tail uh and i said I noticed that. And they said, yeah, well, I mean, we can just leave it here. But it's probably going to be a long time before you, you, they can't get a tailgate for it? No, can't get a tailgate. Why?
Starting point is 02:03:04 I don't know. Maybe the tailgates are made in China. I have no idea. My gosh, it is so weird what's going on right now. Isn't it? With the vehicles, with so many different things that you just can't get. People need to understand. Wow.
Starting point is 02:03:18 This is the beginning of these things. things. We, you know, when you hear people say, well, we're just going to have to, Americans are just going to have to live a different life. You don't understand what that means. That means like, yeah, they really mean. Tailgate is a really big deal. Okay. You know, you're just not going to have the things that we've always just had. Always had. Yeah. Always had. And that's, you know, not a bad thing. If we all chose to live that way, I don't like the fact that this is being imposed on us by, a bunch of dictators all over the world. That's the part that kind of bums me out about it.
Starting point is 02:03:55 Anyway, tonight, nine o'clock, don't miss. Energy crisis lights out. Tonight, nine, my Wednesday night special.
