Starting point is 00:00:00 Let me talk to you about American Giant. Now, there's a time when American manufacturing was the envy of the world. It was made in America. It was quality that the world trusted. A lot of that has gone these days. And there's really not a lot of people trying to fix it. Honestly, American Giant is one. This is a company that is trying to fix that.
Starting point is 00:00:18 They started producing quality American clothing with American cotton and American workers. When you buy American, you can create jobs for sewers and cutters and factory workers in towns and cities. across the U.S. These are jobs that bring pride and purpose and stitch people together. As we get ready to celebrate, you know, the summer coming off of Independence Day, support the vision, the craftsmanship, the craftsmanship, the craftsmanship. I can't, that's a, I don't know, it was a tough one for me to get there. I did not craft that word particularly right, but it's not like American Giant what they do
Starting point is 00:00:50 with their clothing. I love their freaking hoodies. They're awesome. Everything I've ever had from American Giant is not only something that I love, but something that I'm going to be loving for a very, very long time. They have the American Made T-shirt available at American-dash-giant.com slash Glenn. American-dash-giant.com slash Glenn. Use the name and get 20% off your first order.
Starting point is 00:01:10 American-dash-giant.com slash glen. All right. Maybe we can come up with one or two things to talk about today. One or two. I don't know what it's going to be, but we'll reach deep than the depths. Probably something like your favorite Disney character. Okay, something like that. Something like that.
Starting point is 00:01:26 And features Pat and Stu today. for Glenn. We still have, man, there's a lot of debate fallout. Have you noticed some? I haven't really noticed anything.
Starting point is 00:02:37 It's just beginning, you know, to look a little chaotic in the Democrat Party while they have no clue. We'll get into that a lot more in 60 seconds. So wouldn't it be nice
Starting point is 00:02:49 to live in a world where your credit card balance wasn't hit with crippling compound interest? It sounds nice, I would think, to live in that world. Unfortunately,
Starting point is 00:02:58 we don't live in that world, and if you're someone who has had to have credit cards and use them a lot, chances are fair that you could end up in debt up to your eyeballs eventually. Talking about the kind of debt that can wipe out your savings and set you back years, if not permanently. But if you're fiscally responsible, you should find a little time in your day to give the mortgage consultants over at American Financing a call. They're going to go look over your finances. They're going to see if there are some areas that could be improved. For instance, your mortgage really can be made to work for you. You can help you get out of high interest debt fast.
Starting point is 00:03:31 That is the kind of thing that happens to people when they get in touch with American financing. Please, as always, don't take our word for it. Just do your own homework. Call American financing 800906 2440, 800906 2440, or you can visit them online, Americanfinancing.net. It's Americanfinancing.com. NMLS-18234. NMLS Consumer Access.org.
Starting point is 00:03:51 APR for Rates in the 5 starts at 6.799% for well-qualified borrowers. Call 800-906 2440 for details about questions. Credit costs and terms. Well, obviously, some people are trying to make a big deal out of the debate, you know, that happened. And with Joe Biden, who did fine, by the way, yes, he was a little tired. Oh, he had a bad night. He had a bad night. He had a bad night.
Starting point is 00:04:18 He had a bad night. There was a little bit of jet lag. Well, Trump was yelling the whole time. The whole time, you know. Screaming, top of his lungs. Well, and he was traveling overseas. Have you ever traveled overseas? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Yeah, you have. Did you get tired? at any point? Usually a good month afterward. You're going to be tired. You're going to be tired. Easily. He was exhausted.
Starting point is 00:04:36 Right. He was exhausted. Yes. Pat. I know. And, you know, I mean, like, that's just half of the excuses he's used since this thing happened. Well, I think he was also dehydrated. Dehydrated?
Starting point is 00:04:47 Yeah. I think so, too. You know what happens when you get dehydrated? You can't even think. I mean, Pat, shall I say it? Electrolites. I mean, where were the electrolytes? Thank you.
Starting point is 00:04:56 Was there any gatorade on stage? I didn't see any. I think it was all kept from him. Yeah, the Republicans, from what I understand, punctured the buckets of Gatorade that were back to get him hydrated. And they just punctured the side of him, so it leaked all over the floor. And that made, by the way, Biden's new orthopedic shoes sticky on the bottom, which is distracting. Wildly distracting. And I mean, if your feet are stuck to the floor during a debate, how are you going to talk?
Starting point is 00:05:29 How are you going to talk? People were like, oh, he's shuffling. No, his feet were stuck to the floor because of the gatorade that leaked everywhere. You're obviously going to say things like, and that's a direct quote from him. Right. And I thought it was powerful, but it was because his feet were stuck to the floor. To be fair, that was a partial quote. It went on for about 30 seconds.
Starting point is 00:05:55 By the way, Pat, you know, if you want to have a fair debate, you don't put it on some right-wing network like CNN. No, thank you. You know, these people are out for Trump. Yeah. You know, and I think that's quite clear. clear to everybody. Should have been called not the CNN debate. The MAGA debate would have been far more appropriate.
Starting point is 00:06:13 I was amazing. I mean, it's been incredible to watch. Because I guess if you're a function of the party and the people that work around Joe Biden is to keep him in power no matter what. So they can't admit what's going on. It's been fascinating for them to just struggle to find any way to get out of this. Actually, it wasn't that bad.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Actually, the speech. afterward was fine, you know, the six-minute speech he did on prompter, like the next day. They're like raving about that. And then they set up this Stephanopoulos interview. And it's such an interesting time, Pat, something I think we've never seen. I would love to know, maybe you remember a time where this occurred. But the press has literally turned on Joe Biden, at least for this one week period. Yeah, they have. Now, I will promise you. I promise you that the second they have no opportunity to replace him, they will be back on his side
Starting point is 00:07:11 and they will say he's cured Alzheimer's. That is 100% going to happen. But right now, they will talk about the overreaction of America. Yep. The press overreacted. Like they kind of did with the emails. They were like, you know,
Starting point is 00:07:23 we should have never even talked about those emails. That was crazy. Like, why do we talk about them? The media made a real mistake there by talking about those emails. They will do the same thing. And they will say, you know, actually he's fine.
Starting point is 00:07:34 And actually, you know, he had that. that tough period around the debate, but we talked to him recently. It was one bad night. And I think that was just one bad night. He's doing great now. One bad night. They will do all of those things the second they feel that they can no longer replace him
Starting point is 00:07:48 with Kamala Harris or somebody else. And right now they're in that period where they think we are in trouble. Our goal as journalists is not to cover the news, is not to cover facts. It is to get Joe Biden or a Democrat elected. It was Joe Biden all the way up until that debate. Until the moment they realized, Pat, holy crap, this guy's going to lose. That was their moment.
Starting point is 00:08:12 This guy's going to lose to Donald Trump. Let's jam this car that's been in six gear for the last 100 miles into reverse on the highway and suddenly act as if, first of all, things have changed. This is new. He's gotten much worse over the last month or two. We never saw anything like this before. You know, there were some rumors here and there. Generally speaking, there was nothing.
Starting point is 00:08:38 And now they've reversed. And now they really do want him out. I mean, I have never seen anything like the New York Times coverage. Every story is about how not only has he completely fallen apart mentally, but everybody around him, every official is saying it, has been saying it. They've got examples from months ago suddenly. Why they didn't report them at the time? Who knows? Well, because at the time he was fine, and it was a right-wing cookery conspiracy.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Cheap fakes. Yeah. We were dealing with cheap fakes at the time. Yes. And thankfully, we're now past that, I guess. I guess. I mean, it is so completely absurd. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:24 And blatantly so. And now they're, like, honestly at the point where they are covering him like we do. Right? Like, they are covering him. where like, you know, we would do a show, we'll do a show on a Monday and Joe Biden's been out speaking. And he, you know, he'll do a couple of speeches and he'll just flub a few lines and just sound like an idiot a few times. And we'll highlight it because, A, it's funny. And B, it highlights something that we already knew that the audience has already understood and has made their decision on that this guy is way too old to be president.
Starting point is 00:09:58 And like, we kind of will look at it and say, wow, this is amazing that nobody's noticing this. Like, you know, but not every gaffe is the biggest deal in the world. Not every little mispronunciation is the biggest deal in the world. Yeah. You know, um, listen to the, listen to this is just one example. This is from July 4th. President Biden sought to steady his reelection campaign by talking with two black radio hosts for interviews broadcast on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:10:23 But he spoke haltingly at points during one interview and struggled to find the right phrase in the other. Now, that would never be covered until this past week. That's true. he just spoke haltingly and said one thing wrong in an interview? Yeah. Like, that's every interview for Joe Biden for four years. I've seen so many headlines that, that proclaim Joe Biden said he was a black woman.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And when you hear it, right. He actually does say that. Yes. But you know what he's trying to say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:58 And like, and they wouldn't have mentioned it before. It's on the level of 57 states from Barack Obama. Yeah. Right? Like, it is just a. flub. We all know that Barack Obama doesn't actually think there are 57 states.
Starting point is 00:11:10 We also, I think, understand that Joe Biden doesn't believe he's a black woman. But like, you know, it's a little flub and we would make fun of it and move on with our lives. They go on to highlight that exact phrase. They say he spoke haltingly at points during one interview and struggled to find the right phrase in another saying that he was proud to have been, quote, the first black
Starting point is 00:11:26 woman to serve with a black president. That's so great. Both of those are wrong. I mean, he's not a black woman and he doesn't serve with a black president. he is the first president to select a black vice president so you got something there but you kind of knew what he was going for
Starting point is 00:11:43 that's the type of stuff that they would full out ignore two weeks ago and if you brought it up it was like oh come on you know that's ridiculous he miss spoke get off of him he's had a lifelong stuttering problem leave the man alone
Starting point is 00:11:59 that's what you'd get it goes on he also stumbled over his words during a four minute fourth of July speech to military families at the White House, beginning a story about, listen to how minor this is. Beginning a story about former president, Donald J. Trump,
Starting point is 00:12:13 calling him one of our colleagues, the former president. Now, it's not a ridiculous stretch to call Donald Trump a colleague of other politicians. He was. Now, they might not like each other, but they did work together,
Starting point is 00:12:27 theoretically, on some things. They all held jobs, and in theory, it meant they were working together, they were negotiating, they were talking to each other. They highlight that as a gaff. Now, it's true.
Starting point is 00:12:39 That's a dumb thing to say, I guess, if you're a presidential candidate running against another guy. Like, they want to call him Hitler, so generally speaking, they don't call him a colleague. But, like, is that even a gaffe? I mean, it's so minor that I don't even think we would highlight it.
Starting point is 00:12:55 I don't think so. Like, people... I didn't have it in my show prep. Did you have it in your show prep? Nope. The only reason I pulled it was for this, was to show how far they've gone. They have turned into like Breitbart.
Starting point is 00:13:08 The New York Times, the Washington Post, they want this guy out so badly for this one month period. They've decided they're going to go all in to get him out. And if it fails, they will go exactly back to where they were and act like we're the crazy ones for noticing it. And I don't think it's going to, I don't think it's going to move him to,
Starting point is 00:13:30 withdraw from the race. I think he's so egomaniacal. He sticks with it. I think he should. Stick with it, Joe. Stay where you. Don't let these people force you out. This is exactly what Trump socialed out or whatever. Oh, really? The truth. He's truthed it. Yeah, he trothed this out. He thinks that he should stay in his, what did he call it fierce and I don't know. I'll have to look for the exact verbiage. But it was a really sarcastic quote. It's very funny. Trying to get him to please stay in the race, Joe, because you're solid as a rock and such a formidable opponent. And it's interesting because, you know, some of the polls are showing some gains by Trump since the debate. Others, it's been a little split. It's been mixed. There have been some
Starting point is 00:14:23 that have been pretty good for Biden, some that have been pretty good for Trump. I mean, the averages seem to have, you know, moved on this news. Which direction for Trump. For Trump, but not dramatically. Not as much as it should. Not as much as it should. It should be much, much more than it is. You know, like, let's see, just looking at one of these, one of these averages, had it
Starting point is 00:14:49 at basically 424-Trump before the debate. And now 4340. Ooh. Like I- One point? Come on. In reality, Joe Biden has no argument to not only be an actual candidate but president in the United States. Everyone can look at him and realize this should be over yesterday. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Maybe a long time ago. On the other side, if you're Joe Biden, the polls haven't fallen apart completely. They don't look good, but they haven't fallen apart completely. These averages will start to filter in only post-debate polls pretty soon and you'll get a final average. I'll get a final idea of where this thing really stands. But generally speaking, he's got to be within the margin of error, probably nationally, probably in a lot of these swing states. And there's not really an argument to say things have changed so dramatically that you need
Starting point is 00:15:41 to make a change. And I think if I were Biden, and with everything that entails, I'm a very corrupt person. I've only cared about my own and family's power and money for many, many years. I have dreamt about being president in the United States. since at least 1972. All I care about is myself
Starting point is 00:16:02 and the people around me. I'm looking for ways to enrich myself, but more importantly, I'm realizing, probably at some
Starting point is 00:16:09 level he's realizing, we're getting close to the end here. Are you really going to give this up? Nobody gives this up. Why would you be the first one?
Starting point is 00:16:17 Why? Because some congressman you've never heard of says he wants you out? So what? It's your decision. You won the primary. you're the president of the United States.
Starting point is 00:16:29 If you can't withstand a couple of weeks of op-eds from the New York Times, what kind of man are you? Stay in the race, Joe. Go on. That's what Trump said. He posted this yesterday. Crooked Joe Biden should ignore his many critics and move forward with alacrity and strength with his powerful and far-reaching campaign. He should be sharp, precise, and energetic.
Starting point is 00:16:57 just like he was in the debate, in selling his policies of open borders, where millions of people, including record numbers of terrorists, are allowed to enter our country from prisons and mental institutions, totally unchecked and unvetted, to ending Social Security, men playing women's sports, high taxes, high interest rates, encouraging a woke military, uncontrollable inflation, record-setting crime, only electric vehicles,
Starting point is 00:17:22 subservience to China and other countries, endless wars, putting America last, losing our dollar-based standard and so much more. Yes, Sleepy Joe should continue his campaign of American destruction and make China great again. That's so good. I mean, it's funny and it's very sarcastic. And I understand why he's doing it. I feel like I'd rather him wait on this stuff just a little bit because I don't want...
Starting point is 00:17:52 He can't. He can't. He can't. I do think, though, are we understanding? agreement here that like the best thing probably for the future of the country is for Joe Biden to remain the nominee. I think so, yeah. Because he's much more beatable. He's easy to beat. And while the next four to six months are going to be terrible and scary, it's better than four and a half years of terrible and scary, which is what you get with, let's say, Kamala Harris as president. And maybe
Starting point is 00:18:20 eight and a half years, God only knows. So I think the best thing, even though I think it puts it in severe risk over the next six months is probably for Joe Biden to remain the nominee. We should talk about strategy here, Pat, of how do you make that happen? We will do that coming up in one minute. All right, since the start of the, you know, since you get to that point where October 7th happens in Israel, we've seen so much death and destruction in the Holy Land for more than 40 years now than the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews have been on the ground in Israel. And within hours of the war starting on October 7th and every day since they've been feeding the hungry, protecting the vulnerable in Israel. Continue in the, they've been, you know, as these attacks
Starting point is 00:19:06 are kind of just going on and on and on and on now in the north as well as the south, there are resilient survivors who bravely share their stories in a series of fellowship calls faces of iron survivors like Danny, who beloved daughter and her husband were burned alive on October 7th by Hamas Terrace. I mean, what happened in this country is just such an utter disgrace. Danny is a commander of the volunteer fire and rescue in his community. Despite the fact that there was fire equipment nearby, Danny could do nothing about his daughter's house burned to the ground. These are the types of people IFCJ is helping. Christians like you support Israel through the international fellowship of Christians and Jews. It's this support that helps these survivors
Starting point is 00:19:49 remain steadfast and strong. To hear more stories like this one and to show your support for Israel, visit supportifcj.org. I don't need to tell you that this is an important cause. I mean, I think just what you know of October 7th makes it blatantly obvious. So supportifcj.org, supportifcj.org.
Starting point is 00:20:08 10 second station ID. So we're talking about Joe Biden and whether he should remain in the race. And I think we agree, Pat, that it would be good for America if he stays in the race. I don't want him. Because I feel like the instinct of a conservative is to say, well, the opponent is Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:20:35 He's really bad. We want bad things to happen to his campaign. The worst thing that can happen to his campaign is him stepping down. And yes, I understand that Kamala Harris is the most likely replacement. Okay. So you might not be afraid of Kamala Harris. And there's good reason for that. I will say that when you look at the polling and you look at it, you know, in a little bit of
Starting point is 00:20:58 depth. What you see over and over again is Joe Biden is losing this election partially because he's a bad president. But what makes it more obvious than ever, and not just a razor-tight margin, razor-thin margin, is the fact that he's old, right? So many people, everyone on the Republican side, almost everyone that is independent, and about half of Democrats all agree this guy's too old to be president in the United States. It is by. By far, by far and away, the Biden campaign's largest problem. Now, we all know that by watching him try to act as president on a daily basis. But he is overwhelmingly the biggest problem he faces is he's old.
Starting point is 00:21:43 And Kamala Harris will bring many of the same problems that Joe Biden has. She is also associated with a bunch of policies that people don't like. She also has a lot of verbal gaffes. They're a little bit different. They're the word salad variety rather than, you know, the Joe Biden doesn't know where he is variety. But they're similar in some ways you could say. She's not a great speaker. She, you know, is a good fundraiser for whatever reason.
Starting point is 00:22:11 She will have very positive media attention. But the one thing she is not is old. She is going to solve their largest problem. And one of the reasons why this has been easy for Trump so far is he's been able to say, over and over again, this guy is incoherent, and then everyone goes to check his math on that, and they say, you're right. Finally.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Now, he's going to say things about Kamala Harris that will also be true, but that entire line of defense is gone. And that's a big deal. It at least makes this harder. So how do you approach this if you're Donald Trump? Should you speak out more? Should you speak out less?
Starting point is 00:22:50 What should you do? We'll talk about that strategy coming back on the other side. It's the Glenn Beck program with Pat and Stu. Summer is supposed to be a time for relaxing getaways, not dealing with identity theft, you know. I mean, like, you want to have a party. You want to be out on the beach. You don't want to be thinking about identity theft. As you're planning your next vacation, be on the lookout for travel scams. This is a big one. Avoid clicking on unsolicited links that have deals that are too good to be true. Look out for impostors posing as travel agents. And of course, make sure you've got life lock.
Starting point is 00:23:23 It's important to understand how cybercrime and identity theft are affecting our lives. Lots of places can accidentally expose your personal information, and that's why LifeLock monitors millions of data points, every single second, by the way, to look for risks for your identity and identity theft. It detects and alerts you to potential identity threats that you may not spot on your own, like loans taken out in your name or crimes committed by thieves pretending to be you. And if you do become a victim of identity theft, a dedicated U.S.-based restoration specialist will fix it guaranteed or your money back. Terms apply.

Starting point is 00:24:46 What should be the Donald J. Trump's strategy now moving forward. Seems like he's settled on, at least according to this truth post that he did yesterday, seems to be encouraging Joe to stay in the race. Well, you think, is that what you get out of that? Because I think it's the opposite. I don't know. It's just taunting him, right?
Starting point is 00:25:11 But I do believe he thinks he can crush Biden. Oh, 100%, which is why I think he should want to keep him in the race. You should. And I don't know that saying, look, they're not going to make this decision based on what Trump says. But like, it's this thing basically, if you've got Pat starting quarterback and a backup quarterback. And there's a quarterback controversy going into a big game. If you have no idea which one to start, the worst decision in the world would not be to go to the city of the team you're playing and listen to their sports radio station and see what they're rooting for. Right?
Starting point is 00:25:46 Like, you know, what are, what quarterback do they want? And then just go with the opposite, right? Like, I mean, again, it's a little crude. But the fact that Donald Trump wants, you know, Joe Biden in this race is not an argument for Joe Biden to stay in the race from the Democrats' perspective. Right. Right. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I mean, if anything else, Kamala Harris would at least require a new approach and something else that they haven't really tried yet. Now, look, he should be Kamala Harris, too. I'm not trying to make this out to be the most difficult task in the world, but I will say it should be more difficult than Joe Biden. Joe Biden can't see. He literally can barely walk downstairs. One of the things this is highlighted is how desperate the Democrat situation is, because they've got nobody.
Starting point is 00:26:35 After Joe Biden, and he's nobody, really, but who do they have that youth other than Michelle Obama? I knew you were going to do that. Other than Big Mike, that's all they've got. That's it. Did you see the polling that came out the other day, which had basically everybody equal or slightly worse than Joe Biden facing Donald Trump, except for Michelle Obama, who was up by 11 points? Jeez.
Starting point is 00:27:03 I mean, it's interesting if she'll actually resist this power. Because, I mean, if she's, it's tough to resist being handed the presidency. And certainly that's how this is being presented to her behind the scenes. I've always maintained, though, that she hates the country too much to do this tough job. It's a hard job. And it's a huge pay cut for them. I mean, the Obamas have made so much money since leaving office. They've become 100 millionaires.
Starting point is 00:27:31 I mean, they're millionaires many, many times over now. I mean, just the Netflix deal they signed was, is it 50 million, I think, if I remember correctly? For what? For what? For what? For what? For what? I watched one movie that they did or were involved in in some way.
Starting point is 00:27:49 I can't even remember what it was. It was terrible. I don't know. I can't even remember what it was. It was like an action movie. And it was highlighted by a lot of conservatives because there was one back and forth where they talk about race, you know, white guilt or something, white privilege or something like that. And it wasn't really the focus of the movie.
Starting point is 00:28:08 It just wasn't a good movie. But I think what you just highlighted, Pat, is a really. really important thing to understand if you think, oh, well, Joe Biden's just going to step down. There are no Netflix deals coming for the Bidens. That's for sure. There's no interest in them. There's no five million books sold coming for the Bidens. He's not even going to hit the speaker tour.
Starting point is 00:28:32 This is it. As all former presidents do, he's not capable of that. He can't do it, first of all. And there's no love for him. There's not Barack Obama adoration. for Joe Biden in the party. Yeah, not even close. And this is somewhat similar to Hillary Clinton after she lost, right?
Starting point is 00:28:52 After she lost, they were like, we never want to see you again. Like they literally lost all affinity for Hillary Clinton real fast when she lost to Donald Trump. The same thing will happen to Joe Biden. The talk will change about Biden if he loses to Trump. It will no longer be he was a great president. What a wonderful man. He's all these years of public service. We can't believe he got old.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Oh, no. it's going to be that he screwed this. It's going to be more like the switch you've sort of seen with Ruth Bader Ginsburg where she was the best person in the world. We should keep her in office forever or in her seat forever. Then she dies and they're like,
Starting point is 00:29:25 how could you be so selfish? Right. Like that has been the turn on her. Yeah. And she's now seen as someone whose legacy is largely defined by the idea that she stayed there too long and died when Donald Trump was president.
Starting point is 00:29:38 I mean, no, there's no, it's not a kind group. of people. No. You know? No. But it is a self-serving group of people.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Yeah. And it's also important to note that, and look, he may very well step down. I've never seen more pressure than this. There's nothing that I can even compare it to. Yeah. On a sitting president,
Starting point is 00:29:59 I think that's true. Especially from the media, right? Like the media, of course, does this to every Republican president. They always say that they should step down. And I mean, like, you think about, the closest thing I could come up with, I was thinking about this was the,
Starting point is 00:30:11 the moment after the Access Hollywood tape. If you remember back to that time, Trump was still kind of wishy-washy with his party. There's still a lot of people who didn't like him. Still a lot of people who were not won over by that he was
Starting point is 00:30:27 going to be a good president. That thing comes out. It looks so bad. There's a lot of Republicans who actually come out privately and publicly and say we've got to switch it out. Like go with Pence or something. It was a desperate time. They thought for sure they were going to lose at that point. You know, but again,
Starting point is 00:30:43 It was like a week before the election. There's no real way to do that, right? Then his name's printed on all the ballots already, right? There's no way to do it. It was just kind of an insane fantasy football thing at that point. Here there's an actual chance it could happen. And the pressure is not only a few officials here and there and some donors speaking out to the media.
Starting point is 00:31:02 This is every friendly media source writing story after story, after story, after story to push him out. So normally this would probably lead to you being out. I mean, they even pushed out Andrew Cuomo, right, who is as focused on himself as even like a Gavin Newsom. Like, he's to the level of self-love that only you think a Gavin Newsom could get to. And even Andrew Cuomo folded under this type of pressure. And I would say it was even less. But the thing with Biden is everybody around him, they're all B-level officials,
Starting point is 00:31:38 they're all people who couldn't get the high-level jobs with Barack Obama. They're all people that would never have these gigs without Joe Biden having power. You think Anthony Blinken walks into a gig in the Kamala Harris administration? No. He's thrown out on the streets
Starting point is 00:31:55 because he's a giant zilch. All these people around him are giant zilches. You think Corinne Jean-Pierre has a job outside of Applebee's after this? Like, no! These people are all terrible at what they do. And the only reason they have any influence, any importance in life is the fact that this man is in power.
Starting point is 00:32:17 So what do they do? They're all encouraging behind the scenes. You've got to stick it out, Joe. You got to stick it out. Even though they say that Donald Trump is Hitler and you'd think maybe you wouldn't want Hitler to be put into office, at the end of the day, what they care about is themselves. They will say anything they need to say at any given moment. to make themselves look good and to do what they can do to hold on to power a little bit longer, to make themselves a little more popular in their cocktail parties.
Starting point is 00:32:50 You know, the ultimate example of this is Joe Scarborough. Mm-hmm. He had some interesting things to say. This shows the evolution of Joe Scarborough's incredible conservatism over the last few months. I mean, we start clear back in May of 2024. Now, Stu, how old were you back in May of 2024? It's hard to remember, Pat. Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:33:20 I can picture myself in a grainy black and white, maybe even sepia tone, you know, like I, you know, like it's just been a long, long time since I could. But I was alive, I'm pretty sure. I just don't remember how old I was. I think I was four years old at the time. Four. Wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Four years old. Yeah. So this starts out with his comments from May 16th of this year. And then June 28th. And then what he had to say just the other day on July 5th. Listen to this. These Republicans never learn. They constantly underestimate Joe Biden. They constantly say he's an old man.
Starting point is 00:33:57 He can't speak. And think about the first state of the union. He's too old. He's too affirmed. He can't. He blew him out of the water. This last state of the union. Not only was a prepared remarks.
Starting point is 00:34:10 It was off the cuff remarks where he just mocked and ridiculed and made them look like children. And yet, and why should we be surprised? They still don't get it. They're still mocking him, which plays right into his hand. Oh, boy. I think we have to ask the same questions of him that we've asked of Donald Trump since 2016. And that is, if he were CEO, and he turned into performance like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Would any corporation in America, any Fortune 500 corporation in America, keep him on his CEO? No, Joe. I don't think they would. This is a battle for the future of American democracy. And now is a good time. In June, thank God. In June, in not October. In June.
Starting point is 00:35:06 June. This is the last chance for Democrats to decide whether this man we've known and loved for a very long time is up to the task of running for president of the United States. Is he capable of moving forward? He knows he needs to answer that question. He needs to answer it in interviews. He needs to answer it in press conferences. He needs to answer at the NATO summit. He needs to answer it in everything that he does.
Starting point is 00:35:34 as for the rest of us. And that's Democrats, that's independence, that's Republicans of good faith. Let's be smart. Let's take a deep breath. Okay. Let's understand. It's only July the 5th.
Starting point is 00:35:53 Right. We could still... Such an historic decision should not be made in haste. I mean, that's embarrassing. That's embarrassing. Utterly embarrassing. Do you realize that we see? still have access to what you said.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Like two months ago, we still, we know what you said. I mean, if you're going to change your mind like that, and I don't know, has he never seen another example of the decline of Joe Biden? That's hard to believe. He's in the media, you know? I mean, you would reference, you know, back in May I said that Republicans were crazy. Maybe they're not as crazy as I thought. Don't you couch it that way, at least, to avoid some.
Starting point is 00:36:34 kind of embarrassment, but no. No, there's no. You know what there is? Pat, there's no soul. There's no soul. The man is soulless. No soul. No conscience.
Starting point is 00:36:45 No shame. No soul. Yep. Like, no human being could do what we just, like, without feeling just utter shame. Yes. How could you go through with that spectacle? I don't know. He also said in a clip that wasn't part of that montage that he was not only cogent,
Starting point is 00:37:04 he was better than he's ever been, which I think was in March or April. So like, this guy has gone from better than he's ever been to he's got to get out of the, out of the can of the can-stay. It's only July so we can switch this guy out. Like what?
Starting point is 00:37:19 This is like, this is a person who makes decisions about what he says on the air only to put himself in the best graces of whatever cocktail party he's going to. And we should point out, up to end including, embracing Donald Trump for years.
Starting point is 00:37:37 Which they did in 2015 and 16. Yeah. Religiously. They loved him. They loved the guy. They put him on the air all the time. They invited him to their wedding. To their wedding.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Joe and Mika's wedding, Donald Trump got an invite to that. In fact, I think he offered to have it at Mar-a-Lago. Didn't he? This all sounds pretty close. I know that they were definitely tight and they were at stuff. I can't remember 100% the details of it. But they were asking when he was on the show.
Starting point is 00:38:04 Joe and Mika were asking him what questions he would like to answer. Yeah. And you know what happened to this weekend to a couple of radio hosts who got questions from the Biden administration handed them and they just asked them on the air? You know what happened to them? They got fired. Yeah. Just like obviously Joe Scarbo should have been fired years ago. And by the way, was from multiple radio shows.
Starting point is 00:38:27 Which he's still, my understanding, it was reworking the time slot so you can get that right and get back on the air any day now. Well, how do you do the third hour? can't, they wanted to add time. You know, you're only doing two now. Now you have to do another one? The ratings were so bad they wanted to add an hour. And by the way, that's the type of solution you have.
Starting point is 00:38:44 When you have a show that's underperforming wildly for two hours, what you want to do is add a third hour, but you take a good decade to plan it. This guy is just, again, soulless. It's like he must not believe anything. He'll say literally anything, just a couple of weeks apart. that are two things completely at odds with each other and act like it never occurred.
Starting point is 00:39:09 I mean, there's almost some level of credit we have to give for it because it's such an inhuman activity. It's so at odds with the way people normally feel about communication with other humans. And he's somehow able to do it. It's an incredible magic trick. It's like watching a trapeze artist. Triple-8-7-27-B-B-E-C-K. More coming up. Get even more, Glenn. Subscribe to the Glenn Beck Podcast Anywhere Podcasts are found.
Starting point is 00:39:39 This is the Glenn Beck program. For years, I was living in constant pain. There were days I couldn't move my hands. I couldn't paint. I couldn't write. Honestly, it was so bad I had a hard time even doing work. I tried to tough it out. It just grin and bear it until Tanya finally,
Starting point is 00:40:06 after we went to the Mayo Clinic, we went everywhere. And Tanya had heard about relief factor on the blaze. And she said, why don't you try that? She kind of pretty much made me try it. and it was amazing. It's been a miracle. Relief factor is 100% drug-free. It's a daily supplement that helps your body fight pain naturally, and it was developed by doctors. It uses a unique formula of natural ingredients that addresses the inflammation where the pain starts, and relief factor doesn't just mask pain. You even know what those things are. You know, you've done the research of the stuff you buy at the store probably. Like you don't buy Bud Light. Maybe you skip Disney movies these days, you know, because of all the woke stuff that you don't want to support. But what about your investments? And it's not like, you know, a six-pack? Like, you know, buying a different beer, okay.
Starting point is 00:41:17 That'll make some difference, but what about your investments? You might be talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars that are going to companies that are doing things that you do not want to do. Constitution wealth can solve this for you. You can be building up a portfolio that, you know, gives you the best options to avoid things like DEI, ESG, gambling, pornography, abortion, anti-family policies, drugs and alcohol, whatever is important for you to avoid. They can help you avoid it. You can reduce your investments in woke corporations and in so doing, help to fight the culture war with your most powerful weapon, your voice and your money.
Starting point is 00:41:52 This is your opportunity to build the parallel economy by working with an investment firm comprised of professionals who are patriots just like you. These guys are great. They have the same beliefs you have and they can work with you to make sure that you're avoiding these types of companies. Constitutionwealth.com slash blaze. Constitutionwealth.com slash blaze. Yeah. Keep going, Joe. Joe's all in. Yeah. I love it. Yeah. He's all in. We've got some breaking news, a couple of different things. New letter out from Joe Biden to congressional Democrats. Give you one paragraph of it, Pat, and we can get through more of it later. Now that you've returned from the July 4th recess, this is why he didn't send it earlier. This is why he hasn't called you. I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump. And as we talk about this and mock Joe Scarborough, now Joe. Biden is on the phone currently with Joe Scarborough.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Wow. Begging for his political future. And I think he should maintain it, at least for a few more months, Pat. It's the only right thing to do. We'll see. And Pat and Stu for Glenn today, Triple-8-727-B-E-C-K. If you'd like to participate in the show. I'd like to participate in the show.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Do I call that number? Yeah, call that number. I'm excited about it. Yeah, I can't wait to talk to you. All right, we've got the latest from Joe Biden. I mean, the very latest. He called in to the Joe Scarborough-Mika Main Squeeze show or whatever it is, the Joe and Postum thing that he does
Starting point is 00:44:58 and doesn't do well at all. No, he doesn't do well at all. But we'll get to what Biden had to say coming up in one minute. So remember when hardworking, god-fearing, family-oriented people living in the country, you know, shared a little something called American values. Do you remember these times? The very idea. It was like back in May 2024.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Oh, wow. No wonder. I don't remember it. It was like Joe Scarborough Day's ancient history. The very idea of contributing to companies that promoted a leftist and socialist and communist ideal would have been ridiculous. Well, I got to say, those times are behind us now. It seems like a lot of these companies embrace those values.
Starting point is 00:45:39 But they could be in front of us again, especially with companies like Patriot Mobile. We're out on the front lines of protecting those American values for the next generation. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian conservative mobile company, and their mission statement is to passionately defend our God-given constitutional rights and freedoms, and to glorify God always. We complain so much about these companies that don't say things like that. This one does say something like that, and more importantly, they mean it. Every day they're involved at all levels in trying to do exactly that.

Pat and Stufer Glenn, you know, I think the reaction from Democrats since the debate can only be described as chaos and panic. They're in such a terrible position right now. I love it.
Starting point is 00:46:59 I love to watch them twist in the wind like this. It is so fun. And it really does reveal how much they believe Trump is going to win. Right. Like, we've seen these controversies happen a million times. What happens? The media covers for them. I mean, it covers for the Democrats.
Starting point is 00:47:16 They make sure no one knows about the criticisms. They make sure no one comes out publicly. None of this stuff happens. They don't write these stories. They don't write the New York Times op-ed page came out and said, he's got to step down. They don't do stuff like that. No, they don't. It's incredible that this is happening.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I mean, it really is, you know, Glennawa says, we should journal and we should write down these things because these are incredible times. These are incredible times. This does not happen. Yeah. But it was unavoidable this time because it happened live right in front of America's face. Yeah. And there was no way out. I mean, you saw him do it.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Now they covered this up. They make excuses all the time. That was a cheap fake. You didn't see what you think you saw. Everybody knows what they saw debate night. And it wasn't good. It was a catastrophe. It really was.
Starting point is 00:48:11 I mean, it's the president. of the United States and you'd feel bad if it was just a guy who's 81 years old and he was mentally declining. You'd feel really bad. This is the president. Right. I mean, there's the, we came up with this on Studez America a couple years ago when this was happening all the time, which was the Joe Biden triangle of emotions. Because every one of these moments with Joe Biden gives you a rush of emotion. And sometimes it's funny. Sometimes it's sad. And sometimes it's sad. And sometimes it's, it's scary. And you can plot each one of these gaffs on this triangle because you can kind of be like, sometimes it's both sort of sad and funny. Sometimes it's sort of scary and sad. That scary and
Starting point is 00:48:55 sad is where that debate ended up for me. I didn't find it funny at all. No, it was not funny. It wasn't one of those moments. I was like, oh my gosh, Joe Biden's a moron. It was like, holy crap, I had children who live in this country. It was my first thought. Yeah. And secondarily, I did have that thought as a human being watching this man deteriorate before our eyes. This is something that we, I mean, because of the advances of modern science, people live longer, and because of that, they go through things like this. They don't all go through things like this, especially at 81. Many people are fine at 81. Joe Biden, though, is an exception to that. He is not fine. He wasn't fine at 78. No. He wasn't really fine, you know, at any point in his life. But,
Starting point is 00:49:38 but he's been much, much worse. And the one thing I will agree with the media on is that it has gotten worse. Yeah. And it is accelerating, it seems. Yes. So. And that's what happens with these kinds of issues. I know.
Starting point is 00:49:53 And that is sad. It really is. As a human being, I don't want to see this happen to any other human being. No, I don't. I don't either. Larger picture for me. Happens to be the country and the fact that my children live in it. And I really am concerned with them, you know, exploding.
Starting point is 00:50:07 And this is why Jill, Biden is getting such flack right now because she's partly responsible, at least in part, responsible. Yeah. Any sane wife would be saying, good God, Joe. Joe, I love you. Come back. Let's go back to Delaware.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Okay. Let's take a vacation. Yeah. It's time. You've earned it. You serve this country for 50 years. Good job. Now let's go home.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Now, we should be clear, he has not done a good job. That's not true. What the media is saying about this, like, well, he's done 50 years of service. His three and a half years shouldn't be thrown up for 90 minutes. He's sucked this entire time. They all know he sucked this entire time, but he sucked in their direction this entire time. So they can say these things.
Starting point is 00:50:48 The main reason they're saying them, though, is because they're trying to get him to agree to step down. They're being nice to him. We've gone now through the convince him phase of this. They'll be nice. They'll say, you know what, Joe, you're going to be remembered as a hero if you step down right now. It is amazing things.
Starting point is 00:51:07 You're going to be a hero. We will make sure the media. We will make sure they've communicated this and all these op-eds. Your legacy is secure. Just step down now and it will take another step towards the stratosphere. They could be holding out another carrot too and we'll see to it that Hunter doesn't go to prison. Something like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:28 Well, I think we're crossing over there, Pat, from the carrot to the stick. Yeah. And now we are going to get a lot of if you don't step down, You will be destroyed. And so lose this race. Your son will be destroyed. We will make sure that all those bank documents that the media has said aren't real this whole time. There's not any evidence whatsoever that would indicate that Joe Biden.
Starting point is 00:51:53 What if we discovered that maybe they were real? What if we were to look at all that, all that, all those business transactions and all of a sudden realize they're really important? That type of stuff is going to be happening behind the scenes this week. If he can make it through this week and maybe the next I think he can hold on to this thing but man it's going to be a rocky road keep an eye on Barack Obama
Starting point is 00:52:14 and what he says Yep huge Because that's going to be Paramount James Clyburn Yeah other example Another person to watch Barack Obama those two
Starting point is 00:52:23 Those two are huge The biggest keys to this The Black Caucus overall Is massively huge to this This has been their strategy Pat is to say You know what they're saying behind the scenes to these
Starting point is 00:52:33 And somewhat publicly now Is hey have you noticed all the people stepping out and saying he should step down are white? This is really their answer to this. Why is only white people? Is it because they don't like what we've done for black people? Is it possible?
Starting point is 00:52:50 That's the real reason why? And like, this is so cynical and pathetic, but that is their actual approach right now. And they are going, I mean, all indications are, Pat, they are going for this. They want to hang on to this power. And I love every minute of it. stay in the race. I know. They've released a letter, Pat?
Starting point is 00:53:12 Yeah. This is from Joe Biden to congressional Democrats. Let me give you a couple quick highlights. Fellow Democrats, now that you have returned from the July 4th recess, I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end and to beat Donald Trump. I can, he says he understands the pressure. and the concerns by people that may be well-meaning, but he says, I can respond to all of this clearly and unequivocally. I wouldn't be running again if I did not absolutely believe
Starting point is 00:53:45 I was the best person to beat Donald Trump in 2024. He goes on to say there was a process, and this is a real threat to Democrats who were calling for him to step down. He said, there was a process to open to anyone who wanted to run. Only three people chose to challenge me. Now, left out of that statement is the fact that they pressured an armed twisted everyone to stay out of the race. Of course, this is what they did as normal things as presidents do, but that was definitely done. He said, only three people chose to challenge me. One fared
Starting point is 00:54:16 so badly that he left the primaries to run as an independent. Another attacked me for being too old and was soundly defeated. The voters of the Democratic Party have voted. They have chosen me to be the nominee of their party. Do we just, do we now just say this process didn't matter? The voters didn't have a say? I declined to do that. And this is this doesn't. This is a lot. I mean, this not seem like a guy who's on the verge of stepping out. No, it doesn't. I don't think he is. I think he's too egomaniacal. I think he's right in this to the end.
Starting point is 00:54:44 Stay in. Yeah. And he called in to the Scarborough Mika show today. Here's some of what he had to say. Joining us now the 46th president of the United States and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden calling in to Morning Joe right now. Good morning, sir. Hey, Mika. I'm more of them presumptuous. I'm going to be the Democratic nominee. me. Okay, well, Mr. President, that leads to the letter that we just received a few minutes ago.
Starting point is 00:55:15 And I'm curious, there's a part of it where you talk about the fact that you got 14 billion votes, 87% of the vote, it was an open process. You only had three people running against you. You have 3,900 delegates. And then you ask this question, do we now just say the process? He only had, keep in mind, this is. is a sitting president, the incumbent, and he was still primaried by three people. Only three people is not, that's not good. It should have been zero people running against the incumbent sitting president. So that's not much of a feather in your cap that three ran. Yeah, these were the three who didn't care necessarily about their future in the Democrat Party.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Marianne Williamson, RFK Jr. Dean Phillips? Dean Phillips? I mean, they've got no... Right. Right? That we can see anyway. You can't readily say, oh yeah, Dean Phillips is going to be a powerhouse in 28.
Starting point is 00:56:19 No. But I will say, in Dean Phillips' defense, this was 100% of the reason he ran. He specifically said, I think he's going to look really old and he's going to lose. Hello? And he was totally right. Now, of course, every Republican knew this as well. But it is amazing that he got trashed. They trashed him for running.
Starting point is 00:56:39 And he was totally right. 100% right. And it was one of the reasons. The reason he jumped in, he jumped into the last minute was, hey, like, we don't know what's going to happen here. We should have somebody on the ballot that people can choose if this breaks down. Wow. Well, he was right. The entire time on that.
Starting point is 00:56:56 Yeah. And we should note that not only did they arm twist to keep out major contenders from challenge. him. But also, if I remember right, there were actually states where they canceled the primary completely so no one could vote. Oh yeah. That's true. Right? I don't remember which states they were, but I remember them going through this. The party that absolutely loves democracy, just couldn't bring themselves to hold a primary so that their guy would be challenged at all. Fascinating. Now, wouldn't it have been, if you were a Democrat, wouldn't it have been a better process to maybe, I don't know, have a primary? Maybe have some.
Starting point is 00:57:31 some actual contenders in there. Maybe to push Biden. And I got maybe another idea. Maybe Joe Biden shows up to some of the debates held in that primary. So maybe this moment could have happened in January and you would have known what the hell you were dealing with. Right. I mean, I don't know how you didn't know.
Starting point is 00:57:46 But like at least you would have had a better idea. But what happens? They let this go. It now happens in front of everyone. I still don't understand why they agreed to do the debate in the first place. Yeah, I don't either. The most political malpractice. Because you can see this coming a mile away.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Yeah. And there was precedent here. recent precedent with Katie Hobbs in Arizona, who also decided, you know what, I'm not going to, I'm not, it was Katie Hobbs, right? I can't even remember her name. She's literally a giant zero of a public figure. But she's going up against Carrie Lake. Yep. And she was like, no, Carrie Lake is too mean. And she's like an election to die. And I won't debate her. And everyone's like, well, wait a minute. You have to. You're running. You're the Democrat. She's a Republican. You can just avoid her. And she said, you know what? Screw you. I'm going to avoid her. and she won. And it worked. She's now the governor of the state. Sadly, it worked. Why, if you were Joe Biden,
Starting point is 00:58:38 just say, you know what? I will not stand on the stage and debate a convicted felon or whatever BS excuse you have to come up with. It's exactly what I expected from them. And that's what they should have done.
Starting point is 00:58:50 They didn't. I mean, for the country, I'm glad they did it. But for themselves, I don't understand it at all. I think it was really the hubris of Biden who believed he could do well. He's already,
Starting point is 00:59:00 supposedly committed to the next one. Yeah. Which, how could you possibly do that now? He definitely shouldn't bail on it right now because it would show all sorts of weakness. He should wait to bail on it until the beginning of September. And I do still expect them to do that. I will expect that as well. Wait until they're fully committed that you're the nominee and then you can bail on it.
Starting point is 00:59:20 You can't bail on it now. I mean, you bail on it right now. It would be a catastrophe. All right. We've got much more from this interview, this impromptu call-in interview from the president to the Scarborough show coming up in one minute. All right, let me tell you about pre-born this July. We celebrate the birth of our nation
Starting point is 00:59:39 and remember the heroes who fought for our freedoms. We did that just over the past week. But, you know, some Americans today still don't have the freedom of life and liberty. Tragically, everyday thousands of unborn babies are taken against their will. What kind of free nation would actually do this sort of thing? It seems impossible that we have to ask this question in 2024.
Starting point is 01:00:02 But here we are. Preborn incredibly important for this reason, and we really need to support them. Preborn is the largest pro-life organization in the country. They're leading the charge to put an end to the atrocity of abortion. Every day, they sponsor free ultrasounds for women, as well as providing help for up to two years after the baby is born. When a mother sees her unborn child on that monitor, when she hears the heartbeat, she's twice as likely to consider choosing life for her baby. Will you stand with preborn? One ultrasound is only 28. and five ultrasounds, only 140 bucks. To donate, you just have to dial pound 250 and say the keyword, baby.
Starting point is 01:00:40 It's pound 250. The keyword is baby, or you can donate securely at preborn.com slash Beck. Preborn.com slash Beck. Preborn. com slash Beck, sponsored by Preborn. Ten seconds. Station ID. Pat and Stufer Glenn today.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Here's a little more of that interview when Joe Biden apparently, I mean, I don't know, maybe this was set up in advance. but he called into the Joe Scarborough show. It didn't matter that the voters didn't have a say. I'm curious, is that an allusion also to Donald Trump? And the fact that Democrats, you believe, may now be doing the same thing that Donald Trump tried to do in 2020, and that is overthrow the popular will of Democratic voters? Well, look, Democrats, gentlemen, let me say it this way.
Starting point is 01:01:38 The reason I've been on the road so much all over the country. country. And while Trump is riding around the golf cart, filling out his golf cart before even hits the ball. But then he hits. Wait, wait on. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait.
Starting point is 01:01:54 Wait a minute. So he's filling out his golf cart. His golf card. His golf cart. I think what he's trying to say there is he's filling out, he's cheating at golf. He's filling out his golf card before he hits the scorecard. before he hits the ball.
Starting point is 01:02:12 But he literally says golf cart. He can't even insult someone properly. On a very predetermined scripted line that he is undoubtedly reading from a piece of paper as he makes a phone call. There's a reason this is not a video appearance. This is a phone appearance because he's got notes in front of him that he can go to that he's been prepped for that he can just read. And the word says card. and he says cart over and over again
Starting point is 01:02:42 and let's see if he yeah we gotta go back he just he hits the ball but then you hit back it up a little about 10 seconds or so so we can hear the buildup
Starting point is 01:02:50 to that freaking car crash while Trump is riding around the golf cart filling out his golf card before golf cart before he even hits the ball but then he didn't even hit right so he's riding around his golf cart
Starting point is 01:03:01 cart and he's filling out his golf card which I think he means you know you say score card right normally yeah and then he's just like he's a score card right normally. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:08 And then he's just he's just like he's just a golf cart. He corrects himself from what seems to be the right use of card to cart to get this insult in. He can't even do. He can't. What's so depressing about this, Pat, for our country is we all can look at this and say, well, the strategy is you go on shows like Joe Scarborough or you go call. Friendly shows. Yeah, go on talk to congressional Democrats, do all these things. and the strategy is clear how you would survive something like this.
Starting point is 01:03:39 He cannot execute it. He is incapable of doing a coherent interview with George Stephanopoulos. Yeah, you know what would be if he was really capable of doing this, they would go on a show like this one and allow you to ask him anything. They wouldn't send you pre-approved questions to ask him that they had pre-approved answers for. They would send him to a, I don't know, somewhat hostile area, hostile territory. And if they wanted to prove that the guy is really of sound mind, that would be a good test. All this stuff where he's going on black radio shows, he's going on Joe Scarborough, he's meeting with George Stephanopoulos, who's a Democrat operative from the Clinton years.
Starting point is 01:04:35 I mean, it's all friendly territory, and a lot of them were pre-approved questions and answers. So show us. If he's really fine, show us, send him in to put him on Fox News, and let's see how he handles that. That would be fascinating. Yeah, I mean, because he can't do it, so they'd never do that. Right. He's incapable. I think it was, we should come back to this, because I think it was Nate Silver who talked
Starting point is 01:05:05 about this months ago and said like, hey, this is a real problem. I think you shouldn't be the nominee. This is I think in February. And he said, like, here's a plan. If they want him to be the nominee, here's a great plan to just come out. Just do these things, these basic things. Really reasonable requests. Like, they do a couple interviews publicly that we can all see.
Starting point is 01:05:22 They didn't do that. And this is the fire that they are now burning in. They've said it themselves. The world's biggest banks, especially those of China and Russia, have declared a full-scale attack on the U.S. dollar. They are now dumping dollars and buying record amounts of gold. So what do they know that we don't? Well, they know that our dollar is at a tipping point as the world's reserve currency.

Starting point is 01:06:26 free report and an IRA guide and answer any question. Call them now 800-475-2280. 8-475-2280. Pat Gray, Stu Bergier for Glenn today, AAA 727BECK. This story in deadline about the Stephanopoulos interview with Joe Biden last week. Here's one of the things that Biden said about his debate performance. It was a bad episode. No indication of a serious condition, though. And the way it's written in. in deadline, no indication of a serious condition, Biden added in words even Ronald Reagan didn't
Starting point is 01:07:32 have to say while in office. Incredible. Why is that? Because he wasn't in this situation while he was in office. Yes, he went on to get Alzheimer's, but it was not evident while he was in office like this. I mean, they used to scream about it all the time, I think as early as like 85 or 86. but Ronald Reagan wasn't Joe Biden at this stage. Don't make me break out the exit interview he did with Tom Brokaw in 1989 because...
Starting point is 01:08:04 I might have to make you break that out. Don't make me do it. Don't make me do it. It is incredible. He is, he sounds more lucid than Joe Biden has at any point in the last 50 years. And here's a guy who actually did develop Alzheimer's and everybody knows. Every, certainly possible that at the end stages of his presidency, the very minor beginnings of it were occurring. Who knows?
Starting point is 01:08:32 I mean, there is one point in the interview where he sort of loses and he's looking for a name of one of his favorite actors, I think, and he can't quite bring it up. You know, he can't think of the name of it. It's about what you, the only thing you see. But I mean, if that's it, come on. He's going over, Pat, detail after detail of his life. He's describing it, incredible detail. And these are all stories that turned out to be, you know, true, unlike Joe Biden, who brings up stories all the time of totally made up things.
Starting point is 01:08:57 He said again the other day that his son died because of Iraq. Yes. Yes. He died of cancer. That's one of his favorite topics. He said it again. His and Beau died in Iraq. No, he did not.
Starting point is 01:09:11 His last one was he died as a consequence of Iraq. And I guess that's his spin, like those, he trying to say the cancer thing was from Iraq. from that. Now, whether that's true or not is highly controversial, but... You don't know that? You don't know that. Of course. But, you know, at least he's now maybe modifying it a little bit.
Starting point is 01:09:30 Point being that, like, he just is... Like, the thing you just read about Reagan, don't you feel like you're in an alternate universe? Yeah. The fact that the mainstream media is saying things like this, there's no... No historic precedent for it. I've never seen anything like it.
Starting point is 01:09:52 I've never seen the media turn on a person like this that's a Democrat in my life. Like they've done it to Republicans. Like they would praise John McCain forever. And then he runs for president. They totally turn on him. Mitt Romney. He's, oh, he's one of the good ones. Oh, he's the worst guy in the world.
Starting point is 01:10:07 He's putting dogs on his roof. Like, they do that stuff all the time. But they never do it to a Democrat. They have totally turned on this man. every aspect of the coverage is negative and enjoy it while it lasts because if his letter is an indication and this interview is an indication
Starting point is 01:10:25 he's going to stay in this race and they are going to totally turn back to the opposite side again. Yeah. They will praise him. They will say he went into a laboratory and came up with a new medication that cured Alzheimer's.
Starting point is 01:10:41 That is what they will say. They will actually say it. And that is coming. right around the corner. I don't know. What is the deadline for this, Pat? Like, when does this, I've heard, they say, um, this decision, they want,
Starting point is 01:10:57 they have a deadline of this week is what I've heard. And this is just in like reporting, reading these tip sheets from inside Washington sources. He can't always trust those things. But they want him to be out by, by Friday. Uh, you know, the, he's not going to. I don't think so either.
Starting point is 01:11:13 I mean, he really is holding this. Now maybe there's some threat We were talking about this before You can make behind the scenes That says hey You know hey like Hunter Biden You'd hate to see him go to prison for 20 years Wouldn't you Joe
Starting point is 01:11:25 Like that type of stuff could be effective against him Yeah maybe Maybe maybe I mean he's certainly very selfish But does seem to care about his crackhead son Yeah That's true I don't know
Starting point is 01:11:36 That is true Plus I was just having a bad night I was exhausted And dehydrated and the sun was in my eyes. Wait, the sun was... The sun was in my eyes.
Starting point is 01:11:51 Really? Yeah. Because it wasn't. You were indoors. And the wind was blowing really hard. The wind? It was really windy and the sun... Were the windows open?
Starting point is 01:12:00 But anyway, I've said too much. I've said too much. That's a big thing. This is one of the things, and if you've never noticed this, it is very consistent with Joe Biden. It goes back long before these problems. But when... I mean, this is an amazing thing to say, but when he loses his train of thought, he doesn't know where to go, he's lost. His defense mechanism.
Starting point is 01:12:22 Anyway. Anyway, I shouldn't say. I've said too much. Yes. So what he acts as if he was about to reveal an international secret. Yes, and then. And he catches himself. I pivoted because I can't.
Starting point is 01:12:35 I forgot. I can't tell you that. Yes. That little secret about the CIA killing JFK. As if this should make us feel better? You were about to get it away like this international secret and you just stopped yourself in the last second. I was just going to tell you about UFOs and aliens are on this planet right now.
Starting point is 01:12:53 But anyway, look, look, I've said too much. Let me get reset the prompter. This happened the other day, Pat. I don't know if you caught this example. I'm very minor one. But the line on the prompter was, I couldn't be prouder. Okay, I couldn't be prouder of whatever. Okay.
Starting point is 01:13:11 And what he said was, I couldn't ponder. Now, you could see, you're reading a prompter. You just see the word, you see prouder, but you, in your head, like, oh, you think you see ponder. So now you're in a point where the sentence makes no sense. I couldn't ponder, ponder what? Like, you're going to, I couldn't ponder. Like, it doesn't make any sense. So he does what he does.
Starting point is 01:13:33 He goes, I couldn't ponder. Oh, well, I shouldn't say that. I couldn't be prouder of our military veterans or whatever it was. So he actually even sticks with a line after he butchers it the first time. Incredible. And of course, like, look, you read prompters every day. He does it a thousand times a day. Even at small gatherings, he's reading prompters.
Starting point is 01:13:56 Everybody has a moment where they misread a word and they have to kind of backtrack. You try to cover it, right? Like you try to make yourself, you know, and worst case scenario, you just say, oh, geez, I mean, I totally misread that and you move on with your lives. he acts as if he was about to reveal an international secret and he just barely stops himself and resets and reads the exact same line. Good thing I ain't go any further because I'd get in trouble. He's like, we're about to send nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
Starting point is 01:14:28 Anyway, look, I just, I shouldn't say that. So good. It's so good. I love this era. It's sad. It's scary. Yeah. But like, it is really fun to be on the side of the media.
Starting point is 01:14:43 Yeah. Like, all of a sudden, they just agree with everything we say. I feel at times reading the New York Times where I'm like, gosh, they're going a little too far on this one. I've come to that point. Like, I think they're being too critical of this man. That's kind of where I was on the headlines all weekend of Joe Biden said that he was a vice presidential black woman. Did you read those headlines? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:08 Yeah. And I thought, okay. He kind of did, but he kind of spoke there. He said, I'm vice president and first, I'm proud of vice president, black woman. It's really talking about
Starting point is 01:15:21 Kamala. And you know he is. Of course you know he is. But that's not how he phrased it. So he butchered it. There's no doubt about it. But still, was it that big of a deal? Like, there's no way it would be reported. It almost, it felt like one that we might roll out as a joke
Starting point is 01:15:38 and just kind of note, Is he a black man or a black president? That's interesting. I didn't know that. But just as no big deal. And this is central to their news coverage. I mentioned this the other day. This is the day after the debate.
Starting point is 01:15:49 This is Politico, their homepage. Listen to these headlines. Could you ever imagine? Politico. Democrats have no way to spin this. We break down in Biden's disastrous debate. Number one. Number two.
Starting point is 01:16:02 WTF. Panic Dems start looking for alternatives to Biden. Third headline. Here's how Democrats could replace Biden. It's in one day they came up with all this. Wow. Democrats hoped the debate would reset the campaign, but not like this. The movement to convince Biden to not run is real.
Starting point is 01:16:18 The worst debate performance in American history. What world do I live in in the media where the media does these things? I've never seen anything like it. I've never seen anything like it. And that's political. The New York Times, I would argue, was worse. They were, they have been. all over him from the second that debate ended, they realized it was that bad. And we said this
Starting point is 01:16:44 a hundred times, Pat, when you feel like, oh gosh, like how can they not see this? They do see it. They know everything that you know when it comes to Biden's decreasing abilities mentally. They've known it the whole time. They've seen it the whole time. Yeah. They've been hiding it from you. They have to because they watch the press conferences and the speeches just like we do. So they, yes, they know. They know for a fact. But they just cover it up until now. Yep.
Starting point is 01:17:18 But because the debate was live and 50 million people were watching it, there's no hiding that. Yeah. And it's important to note the why they're doing this is not because, they feel it's the right thing and they're good journalists. The reason they're doing this is also not because, oh, you know what, it's so obvious they can't,
Starting point is 01:17:44 they can't do the opposite what they would normally do this time. It was too obvious to everyone. It's not even that. The only reason this is happening with the media is today they believe Joe Biden will lose. And today, they believe they can do something
Starting point is 01:18:00 about it. Today they believe saying these things will give Democrats a better chance of winning. Next week, the week after, the week after that, if Joe Biden stays in here and there's no other alternative, they will totally switch this approach. This will feel like a mirage to us.
Starting point is 01:18:21 It will feel like it didn't even happen. Yeah. They will totally change everything they've done over the past few weeks. If I may quote, Joe Biden himself. I remember that part of the debate. Yeah. And you can't argue with it.
Starting point is 01:18:39 It. You can't. And we beat Medicare. More coming up. Call in and let it out. This is the Glenn Beck program. I think we've gotten through two sentences in the interview. The call-in interview to Joe Scarborough today from the president. We are, yes, you're right.
Starting point is 01:20:32 That's bad. That's bad. You know. Glenn's in the Radio Hall of Fame. not? Right. I mean, what are you going to do? We only got through two sentences. There's a lot more to get through on this because these are the most important interviews
Starting point is 01:20:44 of any. I think that Stephanopoulos interview was one of the most consequential interviews. And they knew it. And they knew it. And what's scary about that is he still couldn't get up for it. Right. You know, I think like if you have the normal scale of politicians from like one to ten, how did they do?
Starting point is 01:21:02 Every piece of Joe Biden content falls between one and three. that scale. So like the best thing Joe Biden can do is a three out of ten. And then, you know, obviously the debate was a zero out of ten. I thought that was like a two out of ten. It was not his worst performance. He was, you know, he made mistakes. He still struggled along the way. Yeah. But the fact that he couldn't get up for one interview with, with a guy who was, I would thought, like a six out of ten. Yeah, six out of ten would have really helped. You know, and we're not expecting a ten out of ten. No one is. Even if you did a three, three at a 10, maybe he would have been okay. And I don't think that he heard himself particularly
Starting point is 01:21:41 in that interview. And Stephanopoulos, I thought was, I thought he was pretty decent. Yeah, firm and persistent. It didn't seem like he was trying to take him out, but he also wasn't giving him a free ride. He kept following up when he would avoid the questions. It was decent. I didn't think it was terrible, which says a lot, right? Like, in, we should have all felt that interview was terrible, right? at the end of the day what we should have felt like is oh my God are you kidding me
Starting point is 01:22:08 they're just letting them off the hook because that's what a guy who's a democratic operative would have done in any other situation we've ever lived through
Starting point is 01:22:17 and yet here is Stephanopold was kind of like good I mean even you know Tapper and Dana Bash pretty good in the debate
Starting point is 01:22:25 I've no real problems with them like that's shocking when you don't really notice their performance that's a good performance for the moderators. Yes, I would agree. And so they didn't piss me off. So it was, I thought it was fine. But let's see if we can get through at least one more sentence from his call
Starting point is 01:22:47 in today. Okay, let's do it. Or a golf cart before you even hit the ball. But then he had been anywhere in 10 days. I've been all over the country, number one. And I've gone over a country for several reasons. One, to make sure my instinct was right about the party still wanting me to be the nominee. And all the data, all the data shows that the average Democrat out there who voted
Starting point is 01:23:10 to be 14 million of them had voted for me, still want me to be the nominee. This is not true. Not at all true. That's a lie. That's a lie. Absolute lie. Not only does every report we have from internal, Democrats,
Starting point is 01:23:26 donors, all these things telling them that. I guess his argument here is, oh, the voters want me. 80-something percent of the population is saying he's too old to run. Including something like 60 percent of Democrats. There's no data to support what he's talking about here. Look, the American people do not want him to be the nominee. No. They do not. They do not want it.
Starting point is 01:23:47 They want this national nightmare to be over. They might want another liberal. Many of them do. But they don't not want Joe Biden to be the president. Confidence in him is completely gone with most people. More coming up. The Glenn Beck Program. Let's do it today.
Starting point is 01:25:13 Triple-8-7-27-B-E-C-K. The criticism constructive and otherwise continues in the debate fallout for Joe Robinette Biden. I mean, the things they're critiquing right now are pretty interesting. even how he looks in person and how much work he's had done. Interesting. It's fascinating, too. Every once in a while it slips my mind that his middle name is actually Robinette. Every time I hear it, I fight it to just be delightful.
Starting point is 01:25:50 It is. It is delightful. I don't know why. We'll get into that delightful aspect and others coming up in one minute. The next time you're just standing somewhere in your home, you to do something, have a look around and think for yourself, if I wanted to put this home in the market, what would I need to do to get it ready? Well, when you've calmed down from the panic attack after realizing that the answer is so much stuff, it's not time to realize a simple fact.
Starting point is 01:26:17 What you'd need is a real expert, a real estate agent you can trust because that agent is going to know the people he or she trusts to do all those things and get them done in time. And I will also add to this, Pat, a lot of times you think you have to do stuff. You you don't have to do. Oh, for sure. You're like, oh, I need to get this painted and this fix and this. No, you don't. Almost always these are bad decisions.
Starting point is 01:26:39 We were going to completely remodel our master bathroom. Because it's a little dated, you know, 2008. Our realtor came in and said, nope, just do the countertops. So we did. And it worked out really well. Saved a fortune. And probably saved us $50,000 or something just from that. Incredible.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Yeah. It was awesome. It's so important to have the best real estate agent. And this happened with us as well. We were selling a home. And it was a big that we were thinking about repainting all these rooms. They're like, nope, leave them the way they are. And it saved us thousands of dollars.
Starting point is 01:27:11 This can be you as well. Real estate agents, I trust.com. Real estate agents, I trust.com. It's a free service to you. The name kind of says it all. It's real estate agents, I trust.com. Just to give you an idea of what we're talking about with the liberal media, sort of getting together and encouraging Biden to leave.
Starting point is 01:27:34 to get out of the race. New York Times columnist Nicholas Christoph on why Joe Biden should drop out of the race. He said, quote, I think we can get a president who's coherent in the evening.
Starting point is 01:27:52 Unquote. Well, yeah. That would be something. That's based, of course, if you're not aware on the fact that people have said Biden's strongest between 10 in the morning
Starting point is 01:28:03 and four in the afternoon. After that, it's a crap shoot. And you might not get something you like there. So he's not, he's obviously not coherent other than those times. And there is something called, is it called dusk dementia or something to that effect? Yeah. Where are you worse at night? Like you don't really, it doesn't necessarily affect you as much certain times of the day.
Starting point is 01:28:30 Right. Which is why you schedule everything 10 to 4, right? Yep. No. There's also like... And why you call a lid on the day sometimes at nine or ten of the morning because you're not doing well that time of day either. It's like there's an exercise induced asthma.
Starting point is 01:28:43 So like you're not a person who necessarily has asthma all the time. But like if you're running around, it's really hot outside, you might need to hit that inhaler. And you have the same effects as asthma, but it's not something that's recurring. Like a lot of people have it all the time. Right. This is, that's what this is. Yes. It's just nighttime.
Starting point is 01:28:59 Yeah. Nighttime. Right. You can't, you can't be around. What about that 3 a.m. call. This is so fascinating. The guy who's running for president right now, Donald Trump, was hit with
Starting point is 01:29:09 that exact claim that in the middle of the night, he wouldn't be ready to be your leader. You need someone who's always ready. Now, of course, Hillary Clinton isn't that person either, but really for other reasons. I don't, people say, like, oh, you guys are just beating him up because he's a Democrat. I wouldn't say that about Hillary Clinton. I wouldn't
Starting point is 01:29:25 say her problem is she has dementia and she can't speak at night. She seems to be equally bad during the day. as the night. Right. With it in a way that like she still makes
Starting point is 01:29:37 really bad decisions. She's really a terrible politician. She would destroy the country. All those things are true. With Biden, it's true too. With Kamala,
Starting point is 01:29:43 it's true. But Kamala and, Hillary, I wouldn't say like, oh God, I hope something bad doesn't happen at night. Right.
Starting point is 01:29:50 You know, yeah. By the way, Pat, the time in which other societies around the earth are in day. So like it might be like 4 p.m. for them.
Starting point is 01:30:01 I mean, it kind of is important. You have who can snap up. I'm pretty sure that when China attacks Taiwan eventually, it will be in that 10 to 4 Eastern Time window where they know that it's really not fair if they do it some other time of the day, like early morning or in the evening or late at night. That would be unfair. Like can we drop like a schedule for everyone to like follow like a shared note that says, you know, attack at these times? Yeah. And remind them of the time difference because, you know, of the time. You know,
Starting point is 01:30:33 of the time zones. It's going to be a different time in China than it is in New York City or Washington, D.C. So you've got to remind him of that too. And look, the fact that between 10 and 4, he's more coherent, does not mean he has any connection to reality in those times. No, that's right. One of the things in the George Stephanopoulos interview, which, by the way, occurred between the hours of 10 and 4 p.m., 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., he said one of the reasons you should vote
Starting point is 01:31:00 for him is because he stopped Vladimir Putin. It's like, what on God, what the hell are you talking about? Vladimir Putin came in, tried to take over the country, was pushed back not by Joe Biden, but by the Ukrainian army, who at the beginning really did a lot to be able to push this back. It was, I mean, I think largely pretty incredible that they stopped that. Yeah. And then, after that had, the battle lines were drawn, the signs, the signs, the sides were basically where they were going to be,
Starting point is 01:31:33 we started funneling $150 billion into the society, which has since lost ground. Right? Like, he's been, he hasn't been able to take over the whole country, but he has increased the amount of territory he's taken from that period
Starting point is 01:31:49 and has, is largely understood to be currently winning. Not to mention, all of the sanctions that he put on Russia seem to have failed. he's now made closer ties with North Korea and China and our ally India
Starting point is 01:32:07 like this has backfired to a level of cataclysm that honestly I don't even think we would have predicted now I am highly worried that this ends in nuclear war to this moment I'm very worried it's honestly if there's one thing I'm worried about
Starting point is 01:32:24 more than anything else it's probably that like if you're talking about the biggest threats to us to our children to our families families, Pat. I think the number one thing I would worry about would be Biden does something stupid that enters us into what ends up in a nuclear war. I do think that's the biggest threat the globe faces today. So I'm not minimizing it at all, but like for him to brag as the other one he said is student loans. He's been forgiving student loans, a situation in which he has been shot down by the Supreme Court over and over on.
Starting point is 01:33:02 He's blatantly broken the Constitution, upended our entire form of government to achieve, and at every step, the courts have said you can't do that and stopped it. And then brags about it. And it brags about it as if this is one of his central achievements. Yeah. I mean, he's terrible at this job. You know, do you ever get to that point where you're just like,
Starting point is 01:33:26 there's nothing more than you just need to note. bad at this. You see it with like head coaches at times of your favorite team. You're just like, well, this guy just doesn't know what he's doing. This has just failed. Yeah. And it's okay to admit that. On top of that, in addition to those things, he is also completely incoherent and has dementia,
Starting point is 01:33:49 which is not the reason to not put him back into office. It's just another reason to not put him back into office. The reason is he's been a terrible precedent. And it's interesting because some of this is actually being admitted to by the left-wing media. And in fact, they're even bringing things up that we don't. I don't think I've ever brought up the fact that he's had work done, cosmetic surgery done, but it's being brought up now by left-wing media. It's weird. So there's this Olivia Nuzzi piece that came out in New York Magazine, I believe.
Starting point is 01:34:31 Yeah, New York Magazine. And it is called The Conspiracy of Silence to Protect Joe Biden, which is a remarkable story. Now, she does do some, she's not like a walk-the-line Democratic operative as a journalist. I don't think that's fair. I think she's done some good journalism over the years, and she's a bit of a contrarian at time. So, like, it's not necessarily like, okay, this is how you'd say, you know, the mainstream CNN operates on a daily basis. She will ask questions and point out uncomfortable things.
Starting point is 01:35:07 But, like, honestly, I think this is almost too far. At one point, she's at one point, she says, he doesn't seem real. This is a, let me give you an extended excerpt here. This is true back in 2020, because he basically, she basically says he doesn't even seem. like a real person. This is true even in 2020. His face had then an uncanny valley quality that injectable infigionados
Starting point is 01:35:30 call low trust. If only by millimeters, his cosmetically altered proportions knocked his overall facial harmony into the realm of the improbable. Wow. His thin skin, long a figurative problem and now a literal one,
Starting point is 01:35:45 was pulled tightly over cheeks that seemed to vary month to month in volume. This is like me. Yeah, that's quite a critique. Under artificial light and in the sunshine, he took an unnatural gleam. He looked well, inflated. His eyes were half shut or open very wide. They appeared darker than they once had.
Starting point is 01:36:13 His pupils dilated. He did not blink at regular intervals. The White House often did not engage when question about the president's stare, which sometimes raised alarm on social media when he, when documented in official videos produced by the White House. The administration was above conspiratorial chit-chat that entertained seriously scenarios in which the president was suffering from a shocking decline. Most Americans were not seeing. If the president was being portrayed that way, it was because his political enemies on the right who promoted through what the
Starting point is 01:36:44 press often termed cheap fakes, a caricature, an addled creature unfit to serve. They would not dignify those people or the people doing the bidding of those people with a response. It goes on to mention multiple incidents where this sort of stuff, the stuff you saw at the debate, was noticeable that she saw, that she was reporting on, some of which as early as January and April of this year. And some people have asked the question, like, hey, like, I, maybe you shouldn't report to that in January and April? Like, why is this coming out now?
Starting point is 01:37:14 And I, I mean, like, her stories are very long and wordy and, you know, I can understand that takes time to write them. I am sure. Six months, though? Her, that's basically what she said. She said, I work on most of my stories for months. This piece is about a conspiracy of silence that made people reluctant to talk. I've been chasing down what I heard since January.
Starting point is 01:37:34 That's how long reporting takes. You can believe that or not. I mean, I am happy that this stuff does come out at least. And he hasn't been on the decline just since January either. It's been years. Years. It's been years. Yep.
Starting point is 01:37:45 So that's a lame excuse. But still, for her to be mentioning it now, It's pretty amazing. I thought to myself, would anybody ever write that about a woman? No, probably not. Can you imagine if they came in and they were like, hey, Nancy Pelosi and they wrote that about Pelosi, you would be lit on fire for doing that to somebody. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:38:04 Like the fact that as a guy and he's had a bunch of plastic surgery or whatever, like it's okay to just like mock his appearance and say it looks like he's like transparent. That's okay? I mean, I don't really care. I don't really care. Honestly, if you do it to a woman either. And frankly, I guess I'm a bad person. I think it's okay to point out these things.
Starting point is 01:38:26 You know, we pointed it out about Nancy Pelosi. I've never had any trouble saying it about her. But like, I think in left wing media circles, this would be something you'd be me-toed over. Oh, yeah. No question. Hey, it's almost to that level. Fascinating. Triple-8-7-27.
Starting point is 01:38:42 Beck, more coming up in one minute. All right, it might be hard to keep a good company down, especially one that puts out the best products consistently, the way my pillow does. We've been singing their praises for years on this show because Glenn actually uses their products. So do I, by the way. I freaking love their slippers, man. I have a pair of their slippers, and it is, they are on. Like, it's nighttime. I'm walking around the house. Those puppies are on. They're really, really comfortable. They keep my toes warm. I love them. My pillow has seen amazing success, despite cancel culture seeing to make sure that basically they won't be
Starting point is 01:39:18 be able to go to box stores to sell any products anymore. These big box stores kind of kicked them all out. And, you know, you've been fighting with My Pillow to make sure that they can actually, it's a good company and they make good products. And that's what we should be judging these things on. In fact, because of this and, you know, the change in retailers, they want to pass on savings directly to you to show their appreciation for your support to get you familiar with their other products.
Starting point is 01:39:39 They're having a $25 extravaganza when you use the promo code Beck. It's a two pack of multi-use MyPillows, just $25. bucks. My Pillow Sandals, $25. They're six-pack towel sets. He guessed it $25. And for the first time ever, premium My Pillows with all new geese of fabric, any size or loft level, just $25. Starting point is 01:40:28 So how much have we got through now? Of the Joe Scarborough interview, how far are we along on that now? We've gotten through. Three sentences. We've got through three sentences. We're over a minute in now? Really? I'm actually impressed by us on that one.
Starting point is 01:40:41 We should come back and do a little bit more of this because it's a big deal. Or we could do it here. We have got a few minutes if you want to do some of it. Yeah. Let's go ahead and see if we get through one more line at least. Let's see. Want me to be the nominee. number one. Number two, the idea that Donald Trump is, uh, has gained in any substantial way,
Starting point is 01:41:02 has his, his arguments why he should be president is anywhere convincing than it was, uh, two weeks or three weeks ago. It's just not there. And we're just getting, we're just starting to focus on Trump. And look, I attended services, spoke to over 600 people at Mount Airy Church of God in Christ in Philly. I stopped by campaign field offices with John Fetterman and Madeline Dean both strongly supported me. The president and the first lady, we spoke at a campaign ice cream social for Apsmey. Council 13 in Harrisburg, 40 minutes after we spoke with supporters. Stop by denim coffee.
Starting point is 01:41:40 I mean, I was with the governor of Pennsylvania. Did ice cream socials? He's still strongly supporting me. I know. When you're a guy that everyone's saying, like, might have Alzheimer's, I don't know that bragging about ice cream socials is. the right play. Just strategically. What do you think about bragging about going to a coffee place? Is that a high-end presidential activity? I don't know. Everyone should be like kind of
Starting point is 01:42:05 expecting you to be able to handle a coffee outing. This is where we are though. And interestingly, when he goes into these places, he was talking about the crowds that he draws. I think this was with Stephanopoulos, where he mentioned the crowds. And Stephanopoulos said, you might not want to play the crowd game. Because Trump, he brings in huge crowds. Ken, when would that happen? Like three or four people show up? Yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 01:42:33 Who would say that to him? The media would never say that to him. Actually, your crowd suck compared to Trump's. Not on ABC. They wouldn't say that to him. No, they would never do that. And now they do it. It's so fun.
Starting point is 01:42:46 This is how they. They should be acting all the time. This is what the media should be. Yeah. And we're seeing this weird scattered shower of journalism. And all of a sudden, we're seeing this vision of a place where the media does their job. Imagine if this is what, like, real life all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:05 Wouldn't that be something? We all know it's about to go away. It's so sad. It's like, it's like you've been wanting to date this one girl in high school and there's one magical night. she decides she's going to pay attention to you for that one night and then you're back at school on Monday and she doesn't talk to you again. This is all happening. It's just going to go away, Pat. I know. It's all by the time Glenn Beck is off vacation, likely this is all gone. This one magical two-week period where the media does their job. Are you of the mindset now that
Starting point is 01:43:42 they're going to replace him? Or are you still thinking, as I do, that he's not, he's not going to step aside. I don't think he is. I don't think it's impossible that they replace him. Yeah. I don't think it's above 50% though. In my mind, I think it's all about him and whether he decides that he's going to drop out. And his two major advisors in this decision are Jill Biden and crackhead Hunter Biden. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:16 Those are the two people helping and make this decision. I don't know. Do you think there's any reason why Hunter Biden might want his dad in touch, you know, in control of the DOJ? Oh, yeah. Do you think maybe there's some incentives there? And Jill, like, she's committed to this. She loves where she is. She loves it.
Starting point is 01:44:34 My instinct is to believe also that usually the most boring option is the one that happens. Like, these fantasy league trades and like they don't wind up playing out, you know? Mm-hmm. It's like, you know, normally the callers to sports radio who are like, what if we trade our failing third baseman for Aaron Judge? Usually that doesn't happen, right? Like, you know, that's why it's one of the reasons why I made the bet with Glenn with Michelle Obama.
Starting point is 01:44:59 Like, it could happen. Yeah. And I'm much more scared about it now than I've ever been, but it still feels unlikely. Even after all this happened, it seems unlikely. And the betting markets are reflecting that possibility. but right now it seems, you know, I think the betting markets are showing it pretty much even. It's bounced back and forth a bunch of times. And when I say even, I mean between Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the nominee of this party
Starting point is 01:45:24 in which he's already won the primary and been on stage as the candidate. Oddly enough, they still see it about a 50-50 chance. So I don't know. I mean, at this point, it feels like he is going to hold on. He's certainly indicating that. And I think outside of a threat, wow. And the markets have reversed on this now. Joe Biden's 60% chance to be the nominee, Kamala Harris 24.
Starting point is 01:45:49 That's totally different than it was a couple days ago. Because he is maintaining. He's firmly in this race. He's in it to win. NYPD officer Jonathan Diller's tragic and shocking story made national headlines. During a traffic stop, Jonathan was shot and killed by a career criminal. His was the first in the line of duty death for the New York Police Department in two years. Throughout his three years of service, Jonathan made more than 70 arrests.
Starting point is 01:46:21 He was awarded with excellent police duty on several occasions. Jonathan, who was 31 years old, left behind a wife, Stephanie, and his one-year-old son, Ryan, brothers and sisters as well in the New York Police Department family. At his funeral, his wife said, my husband died a hero, but he also lived as one. For this family, nothing will ever replace the loss of a husband and a dad, but thanks to the kindness of friends like you, Tunnel to Towers Foundation was able to pay off the mortgage on the Diller family home. Help heroes like Jonathan and their families, donate $11 a month, please to Tunnel to Towers at T2T.org. That's T the number two T.org.
Starting point is 01:47:02 As the mainstream media perpetuates the left's insanity, we're helping you fight back one truth at a time. More Glenn back next. Welcome. Pat and Stufer Glenn today, AAA 727. B-E-C-K. And if you want some great merch, where would I go? If I wanted merchandise,
Starting point is 01:47:41 you know, like with really funny phrases on it. I'll give you one place to go. Stu doesmerch.com. Got some good election stuff going on, including the Biden elderly man with a poor memory line. I think you'll enjoy that, especially right now.
Starting point is 01:47:59 Bidenomics strikes back, a bunch of different stuff going on there. a couple of other things as well Pat we after the Stephanopoulos interview we did one of these live broadcasts where we go on YouTube and just kind of break down everything that happened if you didn't watch the the Stephanopoulos thing don't want to watch it but want to know
Starting point is 01:48:16 what it went on if you go to our YouTube page YouTube.com slash Stu Does America we have a live video up there but all the analysis holds up there at the beginning and just we went through everything that happened and broke it all down something I think you'll like it's still up there It's got a bunch of views, and I think you'll like it. Just follow the channel.
Starting point is 01:48:34 And if you click the bell for notifications, you'll get all these live broadcasts we're going to be doing throughout the election season. We're going to be doing a lot of these after big events, big speeches, you know, convention stuff, breaking news, just pop it on YouTube. So it's a great follow, I think. YouTube.com slash stew does America. Right after this show today, by the way, I'll be going on with Megan Kelly on Megan Kelly's show that airs right after this show on Sirius, but also her podcast comes out and
Starting point is 01:49:01 and it will be a lot of fun. I don't know what we're going to talk about, though. Nothing to talk about. I just feel like there's nothing out there. Disney characters, your favorite Disney character, maybe? Maybe that would be the topic. Yeah. You know, today.
Starting point is 01:49:11 That's usually what I turn to when there's nothing else out there. Nothing else going on. Nothing going on. Pluto or goofy? Man. It's a tough one. It is hard. I mean, are they both dogs?
Starting point is 01:49:21 It's hard. I don't know. What is? One talks and one doesn't? Is that right? I think so. Like, this is the type of debate we're going to bring up on Megan Kelly's show later on today. So make sure to join us.
Starting point is 01:49:31 I know, Pat, you've got some stuff going on as well? Maybe some other things we can purchase? Yeah, maybe you could eat some cookies while you watch your channel. I would love for instance. That's great. The most delicious cookie that's ever graced the planet. In fact, Kexi cookies. Right now, too, not only to get the delicious cookie, the best gourmet cookie you'll ever eat,
Starting point is 01:49:53 but you'll get them at 15% off right now. 15% off at K-E-K-S-I-com. dot com. Best cookies you'll ever eat. Love them. Love them. All right. So,
Starting point is 01:50:08 I, we were surprisingly been talking about Joe Biden and his wonderful performance at the debate and the fallout since then. And we got some
Starting point is 01:50:23 comments from you. For instance, Ron, in West Virginia. Hey, Ron. You're on the Glenn Beck program with Patton. Stu, hi.
Starting point is 01:50:32 Hey, Pat and Stu. You guys should be in the Hall of Fame. If I had a card, it's to get a machine, and we have, yay, go Pat and Stu. Another story altogether, gentlemen. I'm calling to make a statement that most people don't see as a probable outcome of this election. All right. And that Joe Biden can actually still win this.
Starting point is 01:50:51 Let me raise some background for you. Okay, you've got more illegals entering the country than the total of 38 states. And in those 38 states, you've got a plurality of those states that allow for you to go in, get a driver's license, and then turn around and be registered to vote, regardless of the fact that you're not a citizen. You can go in and do that. And then you add California. You add New York, Illinois, New Jersey, and all these other states that do the same thing. You go in, you've got like six, seven million votes from illegals, possibly. And on top of that, you've got what, drop boxes in Minnesota, right?
Starting point is 01:51:32 You've got people harvesting, ballot harvesting, and you don't have anybody watching to see if these are bona fide ballots. They've done this with the care homes in the last election, where they found the signatures to be of the same appearance, like somebody's signing off on hundreds of these. ballots. So I'd say buyer beware. Who in the world in the Democratic Party would allow for a guy with 36% approval because of his age run for president? That's a loser right there. Nobody's ever run that before. So they must, I'm thinking perhaps they've got something up their sleeve.
Starting point is 01:52:19 you know they've got what's his name Jake Sullivan his attorney Bauer and these other people in the wings that are doing all the choosing for him and I think is a foregone conclusion because he doesn't seem to know where he is half the time she is I appreciate it run there's a chunk of that I think is was part of
Starting point is 01:52:35 their plan right they thought just having Trump on the ballot was enough to get enough opposition they didn't really have they could make this all about Trump unfortunately this debate performance I think shook that up a little bit and to his point pat I I I would agree with him that Biden can still win this.
Starting point is 01:52:52 He mentioned like the illegal votes and all that. I mean, this is hard to say, but even now, he can win it just normally. He's down by two or three points. Yeah. I mean, look, a normal polling error, the normal polling error we have, if it goes in the favor of Democrats, unlike how it's gone, it's gone in Trump's favor of the last couple of elections, the polling error. But if it goes in the favor of Democrats, I mean, he's right there. I know. it's really uncomfortable right now because it is so close.
Starting point is 01:53:21 And in order to overcome any suspected shenanigans that anybody's going to do, it would have to be a fairly large margin of victory for Trump to overcome whatever people fear. You know, that's why I think Trump needs to win significantly. Five, six, seven points. And like, be hard to make that up. And it would be, you know how difficult it would be? If you remember the biggest blowout election that we've had recently, it would be McCain-O-Bama. Right?
Starting point is 01:53:53 And clear back in 0-8. Right? Like of like recent modern history. Not going back to Reagan, but like modern history-ish. Like Reagan. 16 years ago. Yeah, 16 years like since, I don't know, 2000. What was the margin?
Starting point is 01:54:07 Do you remember? It was 9. 54-45. Oh, wow. If I remember, right. It was right around there. Now, that felt massive blowout. there was no chance of McCain winning that election.
Starting point is 01:54:19 I mean, it didn't feel like it was even remotely close and has looked back at it as a giant blowout. It was less than 10 points. You know, the fact that we're seeing polls right now where Trump, at least among registered voters, is up by nine, is remarkable. And that is not what the left wants. If these polls still keep getting worse, you could see a situation where Biden gets, I don't know, maybe shamed into leaving.
Starting point is 01:54:42 But I don't know. If it sticks around, and the poll. average is all show him down by about three points. And it's like, I think he can totally number one justify staying in at that level. And number two, has an actual chance. Again, the media is going to switch back to praising him. I don't know. I mean, I think it's unlikely. I think Trump is the heavy favorite. But like even like, you know, Nate Silver, who's been super skeptical of Biden and said he should have gotten out of the race a long time ago and has talked about this, his model shows it, I think it's like a 70% chance of Trump winning right now.
Starting point is 01:55:14 Now, my, you know, I think it actually will get higher because of the, when all the debate polling, post-debat polling gets pushed into these models. But still, like, 70-30 is about what it was with Clinton and Trump in 2016. Like, you know, again, these things can happen. Stranger things have happened even above board. That doesn't even account for what might happen kind of behind the scenes. Yeah. I think in the last supposedly Democrat polling showed an electoral difference after the debate, post-debatte, did you see this statue? 333 to 205 Trump over Biden.
Starting point is 01:55:54 Now that would be a huge. Remarkable. That's a landslide victory for Trump. If that happens, it's devastating to the Democratic Party. Devastating. Now, it will be interesting to see if that follows through to the down-ballot races. because what we've seen in polling so far is really it hasn't. It's been largely a Biden-related problem for the Democrats.
Starting point is 01:56:16 A lot of their Senate candidates, a lot of their House candidates have been doing just fine. So we may see. We don't want that. Now the Senate just in key, I mean, we're not going to get into this too deeply now because it's not worth a full breakdown yet. But like the way the playing field is set for the Senate election is heavily favoring Republicans. Like it would be a disaster if they don't win the Senate. Like they just have a lot of real opportunities.
Starting point is 01:56:41 They're not defending a lot of tough seats. Like this is, should be cake for them to pull the Senate off. They already are leading the House. They're really good at dropping that cake on the floor and completely ruining it. You saw it. In 2022, they got results that were not as positive. They did win the House. They have a chance of winning the House again.
Starting point is 01:57:01 Yeah, but they didn't win it by the margin. All of us expected. No. Everybody expected a huge blowout, and it wasn't that. And, you know, it's funny. When that election happened, we were on the air talking about this. And I thought to myself, you know, and we said it on the air as well, but in some ways, that might have been the best outcome long term. Because, I mean, it would have been great if they had won the Senate too.
Starting point is 01:57:22 But they wouldn't have been able to get really much more of anything done with the Senate. The judicial issue would have been the biggest one. We didn't have any Supreme Court openings, you know, of note. So you have a situation where, you know, having the. House was enough to stop him from Biden from doing his worst. And also, they're more responsible for they can't blame Republicans. They didn't pass any bills. You know, in a way, it was almost like it left the pressure on Democrats to take responsibility for what they've done. And that's been, I think, a good thing. Remember, yes, the debate was a major, major deal. The biggest debate in American history,
Starting point is 01:58:01 we've never seen anything like it. Joe Biden was losing before it. It's like the Colin Capernick thing. It drives me crazy. Oh, he was fired because he took a knee. Do you believe these mean conservative NFL owners? They're so... And then you remember that Colin Kaepernick lost his job to Blaine Gabbert before he ever took a knee. He was so bad as a quarterback that he lost his job to Blaine Gabbard before he ever took a knee. He did not lose his job because he took a knee.
Starting point is 01:58:36 knee. People forget that and they're going to forget it here. If Donald Trump goes on to win, they're going to be like, oh, gosh, that debate performance. He, Joe Biden was losing already. Yeah. The reason the debate was scheduled because he was desperate because he was in a losing position. It's important to remember that. He has turned the economy upside down. He has turned the border upside down. He's terrible on both those issues. And both of them are at the top of almost all Americans list. How's Afghanistan doing? Afghanistan didn't do that. that well. No? Yeah, no. Not our withdrawal from it. No. Economy, inflation.
Starting point is 01:59:11 Yeah. I mean, crime. Exactly. Gas prices. I mean, is there an area where he's done well? I mean, they claim they've done, they claim the border situation is better than it was under Trump. Everybody knows that's not true. No. They claim the economy is better
Starting point is 01:59:27 under Biden than it was under Trump. Everybody knows that's not true. My one example for this, and I mean this sincerely, is he has been a somewhat transformational Democratic candidate and that he's moved the ball in a lot of different ways
Starting point is 01:59:43 towards hardcore progressivism. He has not been a failure as a president if you're a progressive. Like if we had a Republican president that moved the ball toward constitutional principles as much as Biden has done the opposite, we would be happy with them.
Starting point is 01:59:59 Oh, yeah. Like I would not be disappointed in Biden's presidency if I was an insane communist. Right? Right. I mean, the man has literally disassembled our governmental system.
Starting point is 02:00:11 He's just decided, you know what, I can spend $500 billion relieving student loans without telling anyone. I can do it. I can. The eviction moratorium, I can do that. Right. Even though I have no power to do it, everybody in the government, I said I can't do it. I'm going to do it anyway.
Starting point is 02:00:28 You know, the biggest climate bill ever, the Inflation Reduction Act, was a massive accomplishment if you're an insane communist. So, like, I can't say he's failed as a president when it comes to... To the left. To the left. They should love this guy. Yeah. The fact that they are abandoning him only shows how much they think he's going to lose.
Starting point is 02:00:48 AAA 727 BECK. More coming up. The previous content identified as conservative. Oh, my. The Glenn Beck program will be right back. Starting point is 02:01:23 and that investment has quadrupled. Now I wish I really would have spent some more on that and not listened to all the naysayers. Starting point is 02:02:41 I'm not sure going to do show away. Just a few of my favorites. It was just keep in mind, though, just one bad night. That's all it was with Joe Biden. Just one bad night, a one-off sort of situation. He's been fine since then. he was fine before then. It was just that one evening where he was a little bit tired,
Starting point is 02:03:04 had a bit of a cold, he was somewhat exhausted, he was dehydrated, he had some jet lag. Get off him. That trip from a few hundred hours before. Before, yeah.
Starting point is 02:03:18 Maybe a thousand hours before he had a really long trip. What's a thousand hours among friends? You know? Yeah. I mean, the problem is he's working 10,000 hours. too late. He's working too late. He's not getting enough sleep. He's working all the way till 4 o'clock on some days. Yeah. And thank goodness he has promised to be in bed by 8 o'clock every night from now on. That's good. That is good. You know, most countries will not attack
Starting point is 02:03:44 after prime time starts on TV. No, no, no, no. It would be unfair. Yeah. Say, gentlemen's agreement. Yeah. You know, just like keep your attacks to the middays, you know. Between 10 in the morning. and four in the afternoon. It's the only civilized way to attack anybody. This is what George Washington did. He crossed the Delaware at like 11.15 a.m. You know, it was nice and light out.
Starting point is 02:04:09 Right. You know, and everything was fine, plenty warm. And we really should do some seasons here. Like, I mean, summer, there's too much going on. No attacks then. Around the holidays, that's not okay. It's just not nice to do that. No.
Starting point is 02:04:26 It's not the gentlemanly way. to conduct warfare. And that's how China and North Korea think. They want to make sure they're on the up and of. They're gentlemen and women. So we've got that going for it. All right. We'll be back again tomorrow.
Starting point is 02:04:38 We'll see you then. You're on the Glenn Beck Program. The Glenn Beck Program.
