Let me just give you an update quickly, though. New data from the NYPD shows 68 shootings across the city in the last week. Dozens dead. Ninety-two people were shot in the city during. the period spending from midnight on July 5th until July 11th. It looks like there was some shootings, you know, way, way up in Chicago. No big deal. Only 64 people were shot.

13 of them fatally over the weekend. One of them was a 15-year-old kid. Another one was a 17-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy in Chicago. Chicago shot in the back, but don't worry about it. AOC, she's all over it. She said that this weekend the reason why this crime wave is happening is because of the record unemployment in the United States and the fact that people have this economic desperation and they're only doing this violent kind of act.

Well, I mean, we all know why, right? because they're forced to shoplift to be able to get a loaf of bread. Oh. Okay. Ignorance is knowledge. I got it. Welcome to the program. We begin in one minute.

You didn't need surgery, though. You've, you passed it. No. Uh, okay. I passed it. Yeah. So it was, that's good. It was great fun.

It was great fun. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. So here's this guy. He is, he's driving down the street. He's Hispanic. He's 27 years old.

And he sees a guy riding a motorcycle. And he sees that motorcycle. And he realizes that it's a Harley. And that's the kind of motorcycle that white people drive. He's the thought to himself. So he runs over him with his car and kills him. not a problem you know sure not a problem

he's now been charged with a hate crime which quite honestly I'm surprised I'm shocked that they would actually charge him with a hate crime but he was clear he said all of my problems in my life have been caused by white people because of my

Hispanic background and I want to quote him here he chose a motorcycle instead of a car because he wanted the driver to die, not just be injured. He said, oh, come on, where is it? If President Donald Trump and white people are going to create the world we're living in,

he has no choice and that people are going to have to die. Oh, okay. Well, that's, okay. Well, that's fine. I'm sure. Now, Black Lives Matter is rolling into a school near you. If you don't understand the threat that Black Lives Matter is, you need to do your homework right now. New York City, one of the mini-school systems that is rolling out now, Black Lives Matter themed lesson plans.

North Carolina's largest school system in Wake County has launched a website this summer that provides BLM lessons for teachers to use in a classroom and parents to use at home. The website created by the school system's Office of Equity Affairs encourages teachers to address the injustices that exist beyond education by the conversations we have with each other. By speaking up when we see hate, by supporting others that oppose racism and oppression, and directly engaging in advocacy work. In other words, they are making your kid into a Black Lives Matter warrior. The site lays out a cult-like recruiting, recruiting process for students to follow. Step one, recognize your white privilege. Step two, learn the do's and don'ts of being an ally. Step three, recruit more members to learn steps one and two.

You know what? I don't think so. I don't think I'm going to, no, uh-uh. You know, I don't know if anybody knows who Patrice Kohlers is, but she is the she's the founder of Black Lives Matter and she has you know been she's on tape saying she is a trained

Marxist well here's the great thing if you do just a little bit of homework in 2018 on Democracy Now in an interview she also boasted about receiving training from Eric Mann

now who's Eric Mann well Eric Mann was just a former member of the Weather Underground, charged with attempted murder of police officers in Boston back in 1969. The Weather Underground was a terrorist organization. But that just doesn't disqualify you from being in Black Lives Matter. That, in fact, will probably push you up towards the top. She is the poster girl now for the school curricula. Her history of anti-Semitism also doesn't seem to bother any administrators. She's She is a vocal anti-Israel activist, a close ally of the nation of Islam's founder, Louis Farrakhan.

She accuses Israel of ethnic cleansing and racial brutality. She says that the Jewish occupation of Israel, the Jewish occupation of Israel is genocide. And she is the one that is being used as the poster child for these. for this school curricula that most likely will be in your kids school this fall. I have to tell you, I look at the news every day, I see what's happening, I see that the schools in Los Angeles are now saying that they won't reopen unless they get some concessions for the teachers union. So what are the teachers unions?

What do they want? Well, they want to make sure that everything is safe. They want to make sure that the class sizes they can distance from children and keep children safe, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But they also demand a new Medicare for All program and several new state-level taxes on wealthy people and a federal bailout of the school district. they also say that all privately operated publicly funded charter schools need to be closed hmm huh they also say police violence quote is a leading cause of death and trauma for black people serious health and moral issue and they have to shift the amount of money devoted to policing to education and other essential needs such as housing

and public health. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm not having any of these people teach my kid, because they're going to teach your kid to hate you. The last thing that they say is, as it stands, the only people guaranteed to benefit from the premature physical reopening of schools amidst a rapidly accelerating pandemic are billionaires and the politicians they have purchased. Are you going to send your kid to a school where your teacher is part of a teacher's union that says this? In California, the answer is yes.

You need to protect your children. You need to get your children out of there. I know you feel alone. I know you feel. You've got to be asking the same questions that I'm asking. What the hell is happening to us? How is this happening so fast? How is it that I all of a sudden,

and deem the bad guy because I love my country. All the things that I have been taught to do, all the things that I, that I, that all of us were taught were true are now being treated as lies. Now I'm being told America doesn't matter. In fact, America is a force for evil and should be destroyed. Am I the only one? We have to search for answers and we have to search for answers together. You have to realize, and so do I, that not everybody is brave enough to understand and accept their nature as human beings.

The original principle of man, our purpose on earth, is free agency. That's the simple truth of our existence. That we have free agency, that we have a choice in front of us, that we can choose. we chart our own destiny. And from that principle, every other trapping of a correct human moral code has to follow. This is why we cheer when somebody says the Bill of Rights and they read them. Because that is the blueprint.

That is the way we can have our own self-agency and be able to allow others to have it as well. The Bill of Rights speaks to the truth that each of us was born with, that tiny fraction that we're left, we're coming through the veil and in our souls. We know this to be true. We know it to be true. That nobody is better than I am.

They may be better than I am at an activity, or they may be richer than I am or smarter than I am, but they're not better than I am. They don't have any more rights than I have. Together we have to find that principle and find the faith and the courage to stay true to the original principles of man. It's going to get harder and harder and harder.

Courage is a muscle. You must exercise it when it's easy, and it's getting hard. You have to start exercising it right now. We have to stay true to the principles that we all know are true. We are the authors of our own destiny. Not a government, not a school district, not social media. We don't need a king or a government.

We don't need social media mobs ordering us about dictating what we can say and think and read and believe how we act. whom we love, whom we marry, how we worship or how we don't, we have to have faith in one another. We have to have the faith that our neighbor is, that can be trusted with the responsibility of guiding their own life. And I know that is hard right now. And it feels like we're alone. It feels that way, I think, to a lot of people.

Well, that should tell you something. You're not alone. The America we see on TV and social media, the America that we're told now exist and needs to exist doesn't feel right. It doesn't have the ring of truth to it in any way, shape, or form. It's out of alignment with nature. We've been to places like this before. Maybe not exactly like this, but pretty darn close. We fought wars physically.

we fought wars spiritually, we've righted the ship. And if we have faith in one another, if we have faith in our God, true active faith in our God, if we understand the original principles of humankind and human nature, we can and will save the Republic. I want you to remember one thing, you're not alone. and you're not doing this by yourself. Your duty is huge, but all you have to do is what you're expected to.

You do what you have to do and trust that others are going to be doing what they have to do. We have the same goals. We're working on the same team, and even if we don't know each other, we are moving in the same direction. And I have faith that God is going to work this out, I have faith that God will stand with those who stand with him.

We must stand to protect his rights that he gave to us. And we lent to a government to protect. They are not protecting those things anymore. They're pursuing something that, quite honestly, I think, is evil, is social justice. Social justice. Justice only works if it's blind. and at this point we have social justice

and that's never blind in fact it can't be blind she has to see search find fix every injustice in the life of those she deems fit and she is not justice she is a group of people in government I want to tell you something really important

And the only thing that this could possibly be that, I mean, is that these are, these are humans you're buying, not cabinets, because no cabinet would cost $14,000. What a sick and weird conclusion to jump to. Uh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you think? Yeah. Is it possible? This is what, this is what she was, this is what she posted. is it possible wayfair is involved in human trafficking with their WFX utility collection? No, it's not. Or are these just extremely overpriced cabinets?

There you go. Well, yeah, I think they're just overpriced cabinets. I mean, why would it all of a sudden, why would it occur to you that it, oh, you know what? They're buying people. They're selling people at Wayfair. You know what I think this is? By the way, Wayfair said, of course, there's no truth to these claims. recognizing that the photos and descriptions provided by the supplier did not adequately explain the high price point. So what I think this is, is I think this is just another attempt to discredit capitalism, to discredit another capitalist successful corporation. I mean, either that or it's just a really stupid person. But I think it's a, I think it's equally, equally viable that this is somebody who is a Marxist that just wants to create more chaos and more doubt about anything that you can possibly

trust. Yeah. Ken, could we have any more doubts than we do in American society? Right. We doubt absolutely everything. We doubt capitalism. We doubt our leaders. We doubt whether or not the COVID-19 thing is really spiking like it is because you hear all over the place that they're, they're, they're messing with the numbers bringing back legacy numbers from months ago. They're attaching positive test results to people who haven't even had tests. I mean, we can't believe anything anymore. We have an expert on that coming up at the top of our three today. If you're part of the COVID, you know, confusion and you don't know what's happening.

Because honestly, Pat, I don't know what's real or not anymore. Me neither. I don't know what's real. I don't have any. I don't have any feeling that I should be concerned about COVID, though. Do you? Yeah, I don't want to be stupid about it. Like, you know, we did a wedding.

Correct. I think you know whose wedding it was, and it was a great wedding. Yes. But all social distancing kind of went out the window because we're all friends and everybody knows each other. And so you haven't seen each other in a long time. And there's a lot of hugging and shaking and touching and feeling. And I, you know, I was a little nervous about it.

What kind of wedding was? I was a little nervous. Sounds like a. Wow, did you have a cabinet from welfare? Yes. Yes, there was one right in the middle of the dance floor. It was really strange. Right.

That's weird. But nobody was wearing masks. And that's fine because I wasn't wearing one either. I just wasn't expecting the close proximity, I think. And so I was a little nervous, maybe. And I haven't really been. But I thought, yeah, I'm not sure if I want to dive this deep into the normal see end of the pool right now.

I'm not sure I'm ready for that. If it was outdoors, I think it would have been different. You know, like if it's a football game or you're going to a baseball game and you're outside, I wouldn't worry about that. Indoors, I thought it was a little scary.

Hmm. You wouldn't have been bothered by that? You know, I... You would have hugged everybody who people flying all over the world. No, I probably wouldn't... No, I probably wouldn't have hugged everybody. You know,

I'm up here in a small town in Idaho, and I don't see anybody wearing masks. I bet not. I bet not. I bet not. And there's, and there's like one case in the county or something like that. I mean, it's, it's not a problem. But I'm, I'm just, I'm bothered. You're a hugger.

Would you, would you be hugging people if you were back in Dallas? No. Yeah. No. Probably not. But, you know, I, I, I don't want to be stupid. But I also don't want to be played either. I know me too.

You know what causes me to distrust all this is how it's come down on party lines. I don't understand that. Yeah, it's crazy. How is that possible? How's that possible? And it's possible because science has so discredited themselves that we don't know what's true anymore. We don't just blindly trust science anymore because they've made science political. And once everything in our life is political, I mean, geez, Pat, what isn't political?

I think pretty much everything is. I can't think of anything. Yeah, everything is. Everything is. Everything is. Right. And you've got sports. I mean, why is sports political?

Why? There's no reason for it. It was brought in to divide us even more. we can have, I mean, if that line from Michelle Obama, do we have that Michelle Obama line? If that line from Michelle Obama, when she was on the campaign trail with Barack Obama, doesn't come to your head. Oh, my gosh. Listen.

And Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices. We're going to have to change our conversation. We're going to have to change our traditions, our history. We're going to have to move into a different place. We've done that. I mean, that's... We've done it all. That's been done.

Our conversations are not anything like they used to be. Right. Nothing like they used to be. Our traditions, our history, all of it is going out the window. Look how they made us ashamed. Ashamed of our history. If you celebrated during the 4th of July, you got hammered on Twitter for it. That's just crazy to me.

How did we get here? Yeah. We got here because we didn't see how big. the threat was. We got here because, quite honestly, we didn't listen to warnings like I gave back in the early 2000s of organizations like the Tides Foundation. We didn't dismantle the Tides Foundation. We didn't look into it. We still to this day refused to see George Soros as a threat. George Soros is a massive threat. Now, he could disappear and be taken into space by aliens. It doesn't matter. It's his money at this point.

It's the money of the Ford Foundation. That's what's happening. How is Black Lives Matter sitting in our schools right now? Right now, it's sitting in our schools waiting to be devoured by our kids. How's that possible? Because of big money like the Ford Foundation and open society from George Soros. That's how these things get done. Just to back up what you're saying, let me play for you a real quick interview from Lord Jemar, who's a rapper.

And I'd never heard of him before, but the guy makes all kinds of sense. I'm not no Black Lives Matter supporter. You're not? No, absolutely. Why not? Because it's not our movement. It's the movement that was given to us by, you know, George Soros and his fuck boys. Because they saw how things were going and they didn't want it to go back to the 60s to where.

we start having our own organic movements. That was a big fucking problem for them. So let's give the people of movement that we can control. We'll provide them the leaders and all of this type of shit. And yeah, that's what Black Lives Matter is. Is that great? I mean, so he's right that it is not a black movement.

It is a, it's a gay and lesbian, Marxist, radical movement. Yeah. So that's what that is. But I think it's worse than what he said. He said it was given so we wouldn't start our own movement.

No, no. No, it was given because they know they can use the black community. They really believe that the black community is so stupid that they can be used every step of the way, that they can be wrapped up into something like this. Nobody's going to look into it and nobody will care and it will help destroy the black community and the United States of America. That's what this is really all about. I mean, you want to talk about a racist movement. It's what the white leadership of Black Lives Matter and the big funders of Black Lives Matter actually believe.

I want to tell you about Melody. She is a, she's a fan of the show. She lives in Georgia. and she's got a bit of a problem. Problem is, well, not that her dog won't eat. It used to be the problem, but it's not the problem anymore. The problem now is her dog will now only eat food that has rough greens on it. This is, right?

Bill Clinton, Bill Clinton commuted the sentence of 16 members of the F-A-L-N, the Puerto Rican paramilitary organization that set off 120 bombs in the United States, mostly in New York City and Chicago. There were convictions for conspiracy to commit robbery,

bomb-making, sedition, as well as firearms and explosive violations. Linda Evans and Susan Rosenberg, both members of the Weather Underground, and the May 19th Communist Movement and were convicted on weapons and explosive charges. One of them, by the way, after being released, is now at the top of BLM. Cases similar to Roger Stone. This is just Clinton.

Susan McDougal, sentenced to 18 months in prisons on contempt of charges for refusing to testify about Clinton in the Whitewater scandal. Partons that look like they were responses to bribes. Carlos Vigonelli, convicted for cocaine trafficking. Alman Glenn Braswell, convicted of mail fraud and perjury,

under investigation for money laundering and tax evasion. Both were pardoned, but they were also caught paying approximately $200,000 to Hillary Clinton's brother, Hugh Rodman, to represent their respective cases for clemency. Mark Rich fled the United States after he was caught owing 48 million in taxes

and charged with 51 counts for tax fraud. Everyone was surprised when Clinton pardoned him later revealed, oh, his wife made a substantial donation to the Clinton Library and Foundation. Partons for the Clinton family member. He pardoned Roger Clinton, who had been convicted on drug charges. Clinton pardoned Harvey Weinig, a former New York lawyer who was sentenced in 96 to 11 years for facilitating an extortion kidnapping scheme and helping launder at least $19 million from a cocaine

And you have to repeat that. It requires you, the faith requires you to recite that over and over again. And the whole crowd has to recite that. So, why am I bringing this up? Who's, who's shouting that? Who's making you say that? Well, we're all. saying that there is no God other than.

We're all doing it right now. We go into it and our responsibility to stop doing it in one minute. This is the Glenn Beck program. and I just think he is so brilliant and his voice needs to be heard. he was preaching here in America. He's from Los Angeles, but he's now the Dean of Theology over in Africa. He's at the African Christian University, also a former pastor of Grace Family Baptist Church. Dr. Vody Baacham. Welcome, Vody. How are you? I'm doing great, Glenn. Thanks for having me on once again. I'm surprised every time. Yeah, you bet. Are you really? You're speaking truth. few people are speaking truth. And I'm very concerned,

voting about something that is happening here in America. Actually, the best case of this to highlight happened in Indiana. A priest got up, spoke a sermon, and spoke

of good and evil and named Black Lives Matter as evil and actually described why it was evil. And he was accurate. He's now been replaced at his church, and they've got him in some witness protection program or something. And if Catholics and all Christians don't start to stand up, we're in real, real trouble. Yeah, we most assuredly are. It's not just happening there. It's happening all over

the country. And I've been saying that it would come for the church. It has to come for the church. because if you accept critical theory, which is the foundation upon which Black Lives Matter and all of these different movements is based, if you accept critical theory and the idea that the world and America is divided between oppressors and the oppressed, if you accept their definition of whiteness, of white supremacy, of white privilege, and everything else, then ultimately you have to recognize the fact that the church and Christianity in their eyes is the source of the oppression. So everybody knows that they list off, you know, white, male, you know, able-bodied, cisgendered, so on and so forth. You know, when they're talking about the oppressor, the white supremacist, or whatever.

But what a lot of people don't realize is that Christian is part of that list. And so when they talk about America's original sin, and as you mean a book by that title, you know, America's Original Sin by Jim Wallace, you know, when they talk about it, they lay that at the feet of Christianity itself. And so they have to come for the church. And that's why I believe it's so dangerous. And that's why I talked about this idea of the woke shahda. You know, this, you have to say Black Lives Matter.

I can't believe how many times I've seen people pressed. as to whether or not they would speak the phrase. This is dangerous. So explain because I feel really impressed to start speaking to Christians and start waking Christians up because I think the black community because of their relationship with God and those Christians who are white or of any other. color, if they are still attached to God, they are the ones that are going to repair this. Because I think we're in the beginning of the end battle, it seems. This is, we are battling evil at a global scale. Yeah, you know, and I think you hit the veil in the head.

And this is my biggest problem. I've said that before, and I'll say this again, my biggest problem with this is that that we're moving into a direction that says the church is not the answer. The gospel is not the answer. Christ is not the answer. In fact, the church, the gospel, and Christ are part of the problem. And Black Lives Matter. And, you know, their openly Marxist ideology is the answer.

And I know you've gone over this before, but, you know, the idea that these people say we're self-reflexive, and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege, right? That they want to uplift black trans folk, that they want to replace the idea of, or dismantle patriarchal nuclear family structures. These things go to the heart of who we are as Christians. And one of the things that I've been saying for a while is, I love the illustration of social justice movement, which is really the critical social justice movement, because critical theory is at the core of this.

But the critical social justice. But it's like a train. It's like a train. And it has multiple cars. And the first car behind the engine is the ethnic car, the racial car, right? Racial justice. And you get everybody on board with that because nobody wants to be a racist. Everybody wants racial justice.

And then behind that, you know, you have gender equality. behind that LGBTQ AI Plus and then behind that, you know, a whole host of other things that come along with it. And what worries me is that Christians believe that they can jump on one of those cars, right, the racial justice car, and not be carried along where the rest of the train is going. And that's naive. So why is it we're so asleep, Voddy? What's happened to the church? It's dead asleep. I think there's a couple of things, Glenn. People mean well. Christians hate injustice. So just think about how ingenious it is. This is what Satan does. Think about how ingenious it is the way some of these openly anti-Christian movements name themselves, right? Black lives matter. Oh, I mean, who's going to say black lives don't matter, right? And now all of a sudden you have an organization.

that is antithetical to Christianity with a phrase that you feel like, but this is not the first time. Think about planned parenthood. I mean, how deceptive is that? Planned parenthood. Who could be against something called, you know, Planned Parenthood, and so on and so forth. It goes down the line. This is not something new. And so they get to the heart of, again, Christians, we love God, we love God, we love.

love people, we hate racism. If you don't hate racism, check yourself. You're not a Christian. We're part of the body of Christ. We belong to one another. I talk about that in that racial reconciliation mess. And so if somebody comes and talks about anti-racism and you don't know what they mean by that, you're like, yeah, I'm on board with that. And so Christians are being sucked in because they see injustices, right? Nobody would argue that there are no injustices. And so Christians have these injustices pointed out, and they're like, yeah, this stuff is wrong. And it's like, okay, cool, we've got an answer for you.

And this answer is based in critical theory. And what they've done is they've created an entire vocabulary. It's like there's two books I'm thinking about right now and then been talking about right now. Orwell's 1984 and animal farm. And those two books, you know, fortunately, we don't even read those anymore. People don't even read those anymore in school. But this is Newspeak. They redefine words so that they don't mean what they used to mean.

And then they employ those words in an effort to get their ideology in front of us in ways that seem very, palatable. And before we know it, we're carried along in something that is actually antithetical to the gospel that we hold dear and antithetical to the goals that we have that we think they're going to try, they're going to help us achieve. You know, you bring up 1984, and I started the program today with, you know, let's all remember the slogans of the party. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. ignorance is strength and it goes on

who controls the past controls the future who controls the present controls the past everything in I just reread 1984 everything in it is happening right now

it is it's it's no longer reading fiction it is reading a newspaper well but you have to understand though that you know when you're looking at 1984 and when you're looking at Animal Farm And, you know, these books weren't written as pure fiction. These books were written in order to communicate the truth about this same ideology that has been around for a long time.

And we've seen how this story ends. So the beauty of those books is not just that they're good fiction, but they're fiction that really helped to illustrate what happens when, you know, Marxism, communism, You know, first, you know, two legs bad, four legs good, right? You know, then all animals are creative equal. And then all of a sudden some animals are more equal than others. And now you've got the pigs walking on two legs. And by the way, if you don't know animal form, go get a copy of animal farm, read Animal Farm, read ITA4.

Because, again, these things are very instructive and informative as to these strategies that we're seeing unfold. And people have seen these strategies unfold before. And Newspeak is a really important part of this. Redefining terms is a really important part of this. And Shahada has a lot to do with Newspeak, getting it to be accepted. And I want to talk to you about that a little bit more here in just a second. We're with Voddy Bacham.

My son-in-law, who is not a guy who's generally into all of this stuff, he was with me and we were building something and I had it on. And he's like, who is this guy? He is so clear. of people who have written on this jama quarter is probably my favorite on on the religious nature of this movement. You know, they have a new original sin, a new meta-narrative that explains the world and the way the world works, a new commandment, anti-racism. You know, they have a new birth, which is wokeness. They have a new liturgy. They have a new priesthood, which is the oppressed. They have a new eschatology, which is anti-hegemonic hegemony, right? not just to get rid of eagmany, but to replace the hegemony. And they have this shahda, which you have to say, Black Lives Matter. You have to say that phrase, even though it's a trademark, right?

You know, you have to say it. And let me just give you an idea of sort of how this works. It is cultic in its nature. So I talk to you about Newspeak and how they're redefining terms, right? So you thought you understood what whiteness was, but you don't. Whiteness is actually a set of normative privileges that are granted to white-skinned individuals and groups, and it's invisible to those who are privileged by it. So whiteness gives you privilege, and that privilege is invisible.

What is white privilege? A series of unearned advantages that accrue to white people by virtue of what? Whiteness. Well, then there's white supremacy. What is that? Any belief, behavior, or system that supports, promotes, or enhances white privilege? So you thought you knew what white supremacy was, right? You thought these white supremacist groups, no, any belief behavior system that supports, promotes,

or enhances white privilege. And again, when you understand how broad that is, you get it. Then if you disagree with this stuff, well, then you have white fragility, which is the inability and unwillingness of white people to talk about race due to the grip that whiteness, white supremacy, and white privilege exert on them, either knowingly or unknowingly. So do you see how that encircles you, right? And so there's no way out of it. And this is their theology.

And if you object to their theology, then you are supporting, you are not being actively anti-racist. Then you are supporting racism. Can you tell me the difference between... And white supremacy. Can you tell me the difference between being, you know, being against racism and saying, I'm not a racist. and the difference between that and saying, I'm anti-racist. What is the difference?

Okay, so here we go. So a critical theory basically explains it this way, that racism, we used to talk about racism in terms of individual prejudice, individual animosity or individual acts or individual beliefs about the superiority of one race or over another race. but in the new sort of critical social justice movement, yeah, in Newspeak, well, racism now is only systemic. Racism involves the ideas of whiteness, white privilege, white supremacy, and white fragility as defined by the movement, right?

That is the essence of racism. So white people, by virtue of their whiteness, are racist. America, by virtue of his historic whiteness, is systemically racist. And so you say, you know, I don't want to be racist. You're thinking about the term the way it used to be defined, which is you and your animosity toward another individual, and not about the systemic version of it, which you have to fight against on a systemic level for the rest of your life. Perfect.

Okay. So when we come back, I want to ask you about that systemic racism and fighting it for the rest of our lives. This is the Glenn Beck program. Holy cow. Nothing. We're talking to Dr. Vody Bacham. He is the Dean of Theology, African Christian University,

a new friend of the program. Somebody I wish I would have had the chance to meet while he was here in the United States. He's currently serving over in Africa. But he grew up in the United States, grew up in Los Angeles, and has been speaking out about, the dangers of what we're facing right now for years and really came under some real deep attack.

And I just think his voice needs to be heard from coast to coast. You need to read him, watch his videos online on YouTube while they're still available. Vody, we were talking about the idea of anti-racism. And how do you argue with this with people? Because you do want to be, you know, our Achilles heel is, we do want to do these things. And you sound like a monster when you say, no, I won't go there. How do you argue this? Well, and Glenn, this may seem like I'm going a little off the path, but I think this is an important point.

because I get a lot of heat for this because, yeah, I've been dealing with these types of things for, you know, two decades. You're just talking about secular humanism and postmodernism and then cultural Marxism and people, you know, sort of rolling their eyes. My first book in 2004, you know, The Everloving Truth, it was about cultural apologetics and thinking about these things on the level of ideas. And these ideas matter. and so a lot of times people think that, you know, I'm either being insensitive, I got a letter from someone who heard me on your show who just assumed that I was an American and that I didn't understand race in America or racism in America. You know, they didn't know that I was born in South Central L.A. in 1969 and that I was bust, you know, to an all-white school in Pacific Palisades and that I have seen the, the, the ugly underbelly, you know, of racism. They just didn't, they didn't get that or understand that, right?

But these ideas are important. And so what I've been saying is I've been standing on this wall and fighting on this wall for a long time and sort of trying to argue that these things were coming for a long time. It's not that I don't care about, you know, other issues and real issues that are happening. It's that I think this is the greatest threat. And so let me just, there's a book.

It's the sort of similar work on anti-racism by Ibram X. Kendi, How to Be an Anti-Racist. And if I can, I just, a couple of lines from this, if it's okay. The opposite of racist isn't not racist. It is anti-racist. What's the difference? One endorses either the idea of racism. hierarchy as a racist or racial equality as an anti-racist now you hear that and you go yeah racial equality we're all equal no that's not his point he's not talking about

an intrinsic or ontological equality between people he continues one either believes problems are rooted in groups of people as a racist or locates the roots of problems in power and policies as an anti-racist now this is huge because he's there's an error here okay there's a logical fallacy here it's called the fallacy of the excluded middle

he creates an either or when there's actually another option let me read that again one either believes problems are rooted in groups of people as a racist or locates the roots of problems in power and policies as an anti-racist what about a Christian who locates these things

in sin in the fall of man. Not excluded, we're put in the first category of racist because we're not anti-racist. We don't root these problems in power and policies. He continues. One either allows racial inequities to persevere as a racist or confronts racial inequities as an anti-racist. Now, these inequities that he talks about, here's one of the things you have to understand, that for the anti-racist, the only explanation for disparities and inequities is racism.

In the book, White Fragility, which is, you know, I think it's still like bestseller on Amazon right now. Robin DiAngelo talks about aversive racism, which is, I mean, there's so many different types of racism. And when she explains what aversive racism is, the last example she gives is for people to explain inequity. by anything other than racism. If you see an inequity between, yes, I'm telling you, this is what these people are doing. And so again, back to Kendi, there is no in-between safe space of not-racist.

The claim of not-racist neutrality is a mask for racism. So what they're saying is, either you accept critical this definition of the world. Either you operate by their worldview, which excludes biblical Christianity as an alternative. If you don't accept this, then you are by definition upholding white privilege and upholding white supremacy. Foti, I'm, I feel impressed to say, I am holding the ladder for you. and you are now up on the wall. Say what needs to be said

to people who believe they are Christians and doing the right thing by going along with this. Blow your trumpet. Yeah, here's the deal. Our hope is in Christ alone. And we have to recognize

that this movement, this ideology is antithetical to the biblical gospel, not the idea of justice, not the idea of mercy. These are biblical ideas, justice and mercy. These are biblical ideas, and we want to pursue these things. But we have to pursue these things with the gospel, through the lens of the gospel. And we have to recognize when we, we're being duped and when we're being used and when people are giving us their language to use

and when they are pouring into their language different definitions then ultimately when you go down their road you get to a place where you realize what I said last time which is with this group a 99 is an F. You cannot do enough. You cannot give enough. But here's the other problem, Glenn. This is works righteousness. This is legalism. Our hope is in Christ. Our hope is not in us working hard enough to be an anti-racist. Our hope is in Christ.

And then here's the other problem. The problem is that these people are trusting, these people are trusting in systems and in governments. The same government that has led us down on this issue and these issues time and time again. That's not the answer. Our hope is in Christ. These people are anti-Christian. This is the mark of the beast for our day, if you will. And so I'm telling people, flee from this stuff, expose this stuff.

Don't be bullied by this stuff. And there's a lot of bullying going on. The University of Colorado at Boulder, and I know you're probably aware of this, but the University of Colorado at Boulder basically said that anybody who does not stand with the principles of Black Lives Matter, not just the phrase, the antithetical to biblical Christianity, they're not welcome as faculty or as a student. Well, I know where my kids won't be going. Because I think you're, I think, Vody, I think you're exactly right that this is our mark of the beast, if you will. You cannot take this mark on yourself.

You cannot do it. It is, it's not, everything that you've talked about is the opposite of Christianity. When you talk about systematic racism, what you're talking about is group sin. Well, Jesus didn't come to take care of group sin. He took care of the sin of the individual. It was an individual that needed to be cured. You want to stop racism. You change the hearts of the individual.

Forget about the group. Everything about this is group. And that is, to me, that is the mark. of Satan. It is. Anything that says that the individual is not supreme and not responsible for their own thing, but they're also responsible for everything else,

is not Christian. Yeah, and it goes beyond that, though, Glenn. It's not just the group. When you understand these people in their ideology, it is the hegemonic power. it is not even the governmental system but this is why

for example there's a difference between police reform and it's interesting I've been talking about reform for over a decade right there's a difference between police reform and defund the police one of those is inherently anti-authoritative anti-authoritarian

but one of those is a one of those is an idea of supplanting power. And we've got to understand that this is not just, you know, individual versus group. This is inherently revolutionary. It's always been revolutionary. And so if you just listen to what's being said, we're now replacing what they say is this, you know, hegemonic power, right? And we know that there are principalities and powers. We read our Bibles.

We understand that, right? But what they want to do is replace it with another power that has as its helm the anti-racists and those who have been self-proclaimed as the leaders and definers of the anti-racist movement. And that just cannot be. Our hope is in Christ and in Christ alone. We have to let the chips fall where they may. Bachham. He is the Dean of Theology African Christian University. He is in Africa now serving there. But he is American, grew up in Los Angeles, and you need to hear his words. This should be enough evidence to show that this was not about George Floyd. They were waiting for something to happen to spring this trap on us. It is taking apart the nuclear family. I trust.com. I want to introduce you to Dr. Scott Atlas. He's a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute. He is a former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center. And we wanted to talk to him about the second wave of COVID and get an understanding on the mask thing, why the numbers are coming up. Is it something we should be concerned with? What is happening?

Doctor, welcome to the program. How are you? Very well. Thanks for having me. You bet. So I think most Americans are confused, and some people are saying that these numbers going through the roof are bad. I just heard an argument this morning that what's happening in Florida is happening everywhere, and it's no big deal. This is all about politics. What's the truth? Well, I mean, I think that everything should be done, of course, by looking at the data instead of just to sort of models or even just allowing fear to go into the exchange here. So if we look at the data, we see there's no question that cases are increasing in many states. And there's that that's to be expected for a few reasons.

Number one, we have a contagious disease present. And when there's more social mingling, there's going to be more cases. cases. And of course, when we test more, we're going to detect more cases. And when we have thousands and thousands of people in the streets protesting and screaming and sharing megaphones, we're going to have more cases. The only question really is, what's the significance of these cases and how we're going to handle these consequences? First and foremost, the overwhelming majority of people that are getting these cases are younger, healthier people. These are people from the facts, from the evidence, from all over the world, including the United States, are not a significant risk generally from

this infection. In fact, the overwhelming majority of people recover fully from the infection. So that's not really the issue. In fact, the issue is only really twofold. Number one, we want to do our best to detect the people who are at high risk to actually die from this. And we're not doing that perfectly of course we're better at it i know we're better because we have we don't see the explosion in death that we would have expected or would have seen the beginning of this and you know we we we have learned so we know that we need to protect the elderly high-risk people particularly in nursing homes now we had as a nation have failed at doing that from coast to coast as most countries in the whole world failed but the

second part of the policy and the only thing that really is the focus of any so-called flattening of the curve is the prevent hospitals from being overcrowded. This is the point of the policy. The policy was never stop all cases of COVID, and it frankly was never to stop all deaths from COVID because we have a case of a disease here with an infect, a fatality rate greater than zero.

And every single disease with a fatality rate greater than zero, necessarily there are people that are going to die. We're going to minimize that. we do our best to minimize that, and that each should be sort of doable because we know who to protect. The overwhelming majority of people that die are over 70, and in some cases over 80, depending upon the analyses, two-thirds, the three-fourth of people are over 70, whereas younger, healthier people have extremely low risk. In fact, the infection fatality rate for people who are under 70 is 0.04, less than or equal to seasonal flu.

Okay, so this is really a message that has never been stressed to people. And frankly, one of the egregious failures here of the policy people is not just to allow fear to infiltrate their own thinking and do lockdowns, which are severely harmful, and I can articulate that. But secondly, they have failed to reassure the public about the facts and about the relative risk here. It's a very serious, dangerous disease for a group of people, and we know who those people are. They are high-risk elderly people with comorbidities. Everybody else, it's not a high-risk disease. So why is it when I see, you know, the governor of Texas, who has done a really good job? But when he comes out and says, you know what, I'm thinking we may have to do a significant lockdown of the state. if these numbers continue.

Well, wait a minute. Why are you locking down the entire state? Why aren't we just protecting those people in that category? Why have we gone off the rails on this? Well, again, like, you know, I sort of try to empathize with the fear, including of the public officials, but I don't empathize with the ignorance and the lack of ability to use critical thinking on the data

by the people talking to them. And again, to emphasize, We want to protect the high-risk people. We also need to protect the hospitals to some extent because we absolutely were killing people by locking out regular medical care. And we have data on that. You know, $250,000 people with cancer, you know, half of them missed their chemotherapy, and I could go on and on.

This is factually true. In fact, in Texas alone, by the way, of the excess deaths over-expected baseline from last year, Almost two-thirds were non-COVID people. That means that we killed people with the lockdown, particularly the lockdown of medical care, not to mention the lockdown causing increased suicide, increased opioid deaths. And that's all statistically proven. Okay, so this is not arguable. So the reality that I want to really make sure, though, the Texas situation is in certain settings,

in certain hospitals, they're getting crowded, in certain hospitals in Florida, they're getting credit. I just looked at the data, and we see that overall, okay, the hospitals in Texas are, say, 80 to 90 percent occupied. But when you look at what percent are COVID patients or what percent are COVID patients in Arizona, they're, you know, 15 to 20 percent. They're filling these hospitals, of course, but it's the wave of non-COVID that's really filling the hospitals. Yes, there are more COVID patients hospitalizations. And when there are hospitals that are overwhelmed,

although I just looked again, for instance, at Florida, and they still have about 20% bed occupancy and about 20% ICU occupancy, but there are some hospitals, isolated hospitals, with very crowded, getting nervous levels of ICU occupancy. Okay, well, here's a policy issue. We need to do what we did for New York and supply extra hospital. hospital capacity. You're not going to stop the infection itself. You just need to be able to take care of the people who need care. Let me switch to schools. Before I do that, well,

you decide the order. Schools have got to be opened. They have got to be open. We are harming our children. The pediatric association has come out and said this as well. There is really, harm being done to our society by keeping everything closed. There's really bad things happening to our economy as well, which will have ramifications. But the schools, should the schools be open or not? This is a slam dunk issue. There is zero science to back up people claiming the schools should be closed or even opened with any constraints. whatsoever. And I can go through the data, but the fact is the bottom line, for instance,

JAMA pediatric, is a very real respected pediatric journal published a study, including 46 hospitals in North America, and they said the following quote, our data indicate that children are at far greater risk of critical illness from influenza than from COVID-19, unquote. children are at extraordinarily low risk, near zero of dying, despite a sensationalized headline of, yes, every child that dies, it's a tragic loss. I'm a parent, I understand that. But the point is that those exceptions don't disprove the overwhelming data. When we have in the numbers of roughly 30-some children who have died in the United States

this year from COVID-19, do people forget that the last estimate from influenza best from children was about 600 in the season, even with the vaccines, even with anything we know about decades of influenza. And so the reality, we have to have some perspective here. If we're going to close schools for the risk to children, then we must close schools every year from November through April because that's influenza season, which by the way kills 50,000 to 90,000 Americans per year. Now, the reality, though, is that there's more to it than that. It's the teachers who are saying don't open the schools. Because there is no science to say there's a risk to children.

The teaching profession in the United States is a young profession of K-12 teachers half are under 41 years old. 82% are under 55. These people do not have a high risk. And the reality is from data all over the world, on top of all that, that children only rarely, if ever, transmit the disease. And this is data from Switzerland, Canada, the Netherlands, France,

Iceland, the UK, Australia, Ireland, all over the world. We don't reinvent the wheel and ignore all the facts here. For people that say it's all about the science, let's look at the science. The science says there is no significant risk to anyone in a school. In fact, it's one of the safest places there are. And so the reality is that people who are saying close the schools, they don't care about the children, period. Let's get it on the table here. the teachers that are against opening are literally saying they do not care about the children

because they're ignoring not only there's no risk to the children there's no there's a harm to the children a massive harm distance learning is proven to be a failure from coast to coast 30% 50% of kids don't even log on on any given day their reading levels have been estimated to drop by 30% by some and we know that this is worse for low income families. They don't have what I call the paraphernalia of the affluent. They're not just going to buy a bunch of iPads and have a bunch of tutors come in and monitor them. And besides that, schools are where we learn that children have a need for hearing aid or glasses. The number one agency where child abuse is found is by the teachers in the schools, by the nurses in the schools. There's a significant

increase, by the way, as we know, it's documented in child abuse with maybe 35% of pediatric ER visits for severe child abuse increased during the lockdown due to the lockdown. This is not a virus effect. This is the lockdown. And now we see we're not even in a seed of child abuse. By the way, many of their parents have lost jobs. When you lose jobs, you have stress, you have increased opioid related to you have increased child abuse. This is a heinous, almost criminal neglect. Teachers are not at risk. Children have virtually no risk, there is zero reason to have any spacing or masks and create a generation of neurotic kids. Aren't schools an essential business, by the way? And by the way, the last I looked,

you know, the schools were for the children, not for the teachers. If the teachers are high risk, and there are some high risk, if they believe that masks and spacing work, why can't they use that in the schools? They must not believe that that works, or they would say we'll do that. And if they are still afraid, by the way, that's fine. High-risk teachers, in my opinion, should be allowed to teach from a distance. Since they obviously believe that distance education works, by the way, or they wouldn't advocate for it, they can teach from a distance. That does not have anything to do with locking down schools.

Teachers, of all people, should be prioritizing the children, and they obviously understand that children learn more than just the book information anyway. When they are in person, they learn how to socially mature, how to work in groups, how to resolve conflicts. And they need facial expressions and cues and all the things that are obvious. These things don't even have to be said, but it's beyond belief. It's completely antithetical to science to insist that schools should not open. And it's antithetical to the recommendations of the experts.

In fact, the hospital for sick kids in Toronto, one of the world's great pediatric hospitals, came out with an official statement, and their statements included, schools should be open in-person, full-time, no masks, no distancing. Because that's what the science says. This is not even controversial at this point. We have become a hysterical country. I'm sorry to say it. We are an outlier internationally. All the countries of Western Europe, their schools are opening, and there's no problem that they've seen for places that didn't even lock down the schools during the height of the pandemic. So I want to have to take a one minute break and then come back. And I want to ask you a very important question, I think. And that is, then why?

Then why is this happening? Why do we have authorities coming out and saying this? If it is so clear on science, one minute. We'll get that answer from Dr. Scott Atlas. You can follow him at S.W. If we're the outlier, why are we made to feel all the time that we are Neanderthals because we believe that schools should be opened up or we think that the country is overreacting?

I mean, this is a good question that will be analyzed, I think. for decades. You know, there's so many things happening now. We're a country in an era where there's a lot of social media and everything is hyperbole. We're, you know, I'm not a political analyst, but we seem to be pretty polarized on things. And what's happened is that there's a lot of fear in the beginning, and we didn't know much about this disease. And I think the fear is totally understandable.

I was afraid myself. But in the end, you have to use logic. in common sense here. And I'm frankly, it's embarrassing already. Right, we're talking about scientists. We're talking about doctors. We're not talking about the people in social media. All doctors, if science is this clear, should be saying the same thing.

And they're not. Yeah, it's sort of inexplicable. In fact, I get thousands of emails a week supporting what I'm saying from all over the world, including medical scientists and epidemiologists and infectious disease people, as well as regular people, and a lot of them are afraid to speak up. So that's one factor here, is that there's a lot of people that have been pilloried by speaking against conventionalism. I'm not afraid, you know, and it's just my own personality, but, you know, I'm speaking

on the evidence and the facts, and you know, you have to, you have to just say that we need to have common sense and logic. And the good news of all this, they don't, unfortunately, they don't teach logic in common sense and deductive reasoning in medical school. Believe me, the difference between a great doctor and a good doctor is not the amount of information they can memorize. It's about using deductive reasoning and coming to the appropriate diagnosis. And, you know, this is just absent here. Mark alone is not sufficient, but we luckily can rely on Americans, I believe, once they're provided with the fact, as I try to do frequently, and the logic, they do get it.

We've been talking about Susan Rosenberg lately because not only she get out of prison, she went to work with the George Soros-funded Black Lives Matter, Inc.

Yay! So we got that going. Yeah, we got that going for it. Of course, you know, I posted the whole list of just a few of the real. really bad people that Obama and Bill Clinton let out, including partons exactly like Roger Stone, that were just completely political. And except the Clintons seem to avoid, you know, being totally political. It was more economic because it looked like they received a bribe for it. But then again, who am I to judge?

Well, I mean, they did get a little contribution. Don't lose that argument. They got a slight contribution to the Clinton Foundation, but I'm sure that was a complete coincidence. Just a total coincidence. Complete coincidence. Yes. Yes. And a complete coincidence now that she's out of political life, that the Clinton Foundation is practically closed because they can't laundered.

They can't, you know, get money to those who really need it. Right. anymore for some reason. So anyway, can we talk about the Redskins here for a second? I wish we would. This was the team that was never going to change its nickname, right? Never, ever, never. Never going to change.

Well, then money spoke pretty loudly, I guess. Once FedEx, Pepsi, and Nike threatened it was $600 million being removed. And I think there was 27 other sponsors or something and it all added up to over half a billion. dollars. Then they were sort of convinced, oh, wait a minute, you know what? This is a, wow, problematic. Offensive. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And you know what? Now that the, now that the stadium that we're hoping the city will pay for won't be paid for by the city if we don't change our names. My gosh. Yeah. What a racist name the Redskins. That's very racist. That wasn't a tribute to the original coach at all. That's not what that was. It's just a bad. nickname. We should have done this a long time ago.

Thank you for reminding us. Yeah. It's, it's, and they've already... Just incredible. They made the official announcement, and they announced that the Redskins's name was going to change, and they called it Redskins within the announcement that they're not going to say the name anymore six times, and so everybody's jumping on them for that too. You just, they can't win. Right. They just can't win. So, so is it true that it's going to be the Washington Weasels?

Yes. Yes. That's what it's... Yes. Okay. That's what it should be. That's what it should be. It should be. It should be. It should be. The spineless.

Yeah. The weasels. I mean, they are, it's incredible to me. You know, I'm, I'm, been thinking about the line in the scriptures about how men's hearts will fail them. Yeah. And that's what's happening. Everybody is, everybody is just, they're too afraid, I guess. Either that.

What's strange is people are either too afraid or they're just, I don't even know, so apathetic that they don't even take the time to look into things. I mean, it's amazing how many people are frightened into silence and others are like, yeah, well, I'm on the bandwagon because I'm a moron. And you know, there is another aspect of that. And I think we've just been convinced that it doesn't matter that much. Don't worry about it. How does that hurt us if the Redskins name changes? And I think people have convinced themselves that it's just not worth the fight. It's not worth the battle.

And so they just give up. And, you know, they, and then it's too late once everything starts to change. And once they start banning words like master bedroom and master bathroom have to go. because what do you think of when you think master bedroom, slave owner every time, right? Master slave relationship. Never once have I ever thought about that being a slave-related name, master bedroom.

And yet there's your white privilege. Yeah, that's right. That's because of your white privilege. That's right. I mean, that's, of course, what it is. You know what I think of every time I hear Master Bedroom? I think of Michelle Obama giving that speech. I think she was in Puerto Rico.

Every time I hear the words master bedroom, I hear Michelle Obama say this. And Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices. We're going to have to change our conversation. We're going to have to change our traditions, our history. We're going to have to move into a different place. Mission accomplished. You know, I was called racist for saying that the president was a Marxist. that he had Marxist tendencies and he was filling positions in our government with Marxists.

When I went on on Fox and said, he doesn't hate America. He just happens to have a deep-seated hatred for the white culture, I think is what I said. Isn't that what I said, Pat? It's never been more true than right now. I remember Katie Couric saying, what do you mean by the white culture? Well, Katie, this. This is what I mean about hating the white culture.

This is what I mean. That everything about this country is bad because white people were involved and white people are bad. That's what I would call a racist. And that's what I reaffirm today. that this all stem, everything that's going on here, stems from Barack Obama becoming president of the United States

and pushing this into our system like a heroin plunger, just pushing it into our bloodstream. And we're all sitting here now looking at a completely different America, a completely different America. And what's, what's, what's, what's, what's, Next, probably, probably a president, because I think it's going to be rigged. I mean, I just, the, the, the stuff where you have a cat getting a ballot in the mail, not even just a dead cat. A dead cat.

Dead for 12 years, this cat. I think we have, yeah, we have the, how did this dead cat? this dead cat get a registration form fill it out and send it in to get his absentee ballot how did that happen yeah check this out listen to this report we're often being reminded to vote some people are even getting flyers in the mail to register but ron and carol timbs say there's no way their cat is going to the polls when ron tims checked his mail wednesday He found something for Cody Timms.

Cody doesn't get much mail. Cody is a cat. He died 12 years ago. The family keeps his ashes in this green container. A great cat, indoor, outdoor, loved his family, loved the neighborhood. He was 18 and a half when he passed away. So the Tims were surprised and a bit amused when they saw what came in the mail. We have a voter registration application for Cody.

Timms. It even came with a return envelope. How'd this happen? I mean it's not reality. He's a cat. Here he is. And he's been dead for a long time. Carol Timms understands that in this election year there's a huge push to get people to the polls. There's a huge push, but if they're trying to register cats, I'm not quite sure who else they're trying to register. Yeah. I don't know if they're registering dogs. Fish. I mean, this is incredible, and it was taken as a kicker story. Right.

Who registered? Who put Cody's name down? How did the system get Cody the cat? How did that happen? How did that happen? I mean, we are in deep, deep trouble, deep trouble. And we're supposed to, we're supposed to accept the fact that the mail and ballots are perfectly legitimate. it. There's no reason to...

You're a conspiracy theorist if you're worried about it. Because the president has been, you know, talking about how a lot of bad things can happen with mail-in ballots. Like, I don't know, dead cats voting. And there's the evidence of it right there.

Steve Bannon came out this weekend and said, we have to jump on the bandwagon of the ballots. He said, I know this is not the fight we want. He said, but they are way ahead of us in ballots. because they're doing all of this. And he's like, if the Republicans don't play the game, we're going to lose.

I don't know what to say to that other than I'm not playing the game. I'm not playing the game. Do not become all that you despise. Stand and stand in a place to where you can expect and call down miracles because we need them. but you also need to stand in your own community. Black Lives Matter has curriculum now in your schools. It is already there, and it's teaching about how bad being white is. This is an abomination.

And Christians, you better wake up. You have a responsibility. and I'm telling you, you are going to be held, I am too.
