Starting point is 00:04:18 This is incredible information. And finally, we've discovered the truth. CBS went back to the Delaware computer store where Hunter Biden's laptop was being repaired. And they found it there. It's still there. It's still there. Yeah. It's a really still there.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I was going to say. That actually would shock me if they said this laptop was still there. A copy of it because the owner did make a copy and he must have given it to CBS. They went out and had a test. Yeah, yeah, they did. And you know what they found? What do they find? It's not some sort of Russian hoax.
Starting point is 00:05:03 What? No, it's actually real. It's his laptop. CBS. Wow, they are on it. Man. They are on it. Only two years after everybody else was on it.
Starting point is 00:05:17 So I think that's pretty admirable of them. Pretty good. It didn't take 20 years. It didn't take 30. It could have. I can't. How can they even, how can they even seriously say, hey, you know what? We just found Hunter's laptop and Tata tested.
Starting point is 00:05:36 And you know what? It's real. Yeah. We've known that for a couple years now. So thanks for that. We have some audio of this incredible reporting. Yeah, I think we do. Let's hear it.
Starting point is 00:05:50 All right. The laptop data we had analyzed showed no evidence it was faked or. tampered with. Digital forensic investigator Mark Lanternman was previously a member of a Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force. There was one thing that got my attention, and that was a voicemail. This dad, I call him telling you, I love you, loving one whole world pal. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:06:14 That voicemail, apparently from Joe Biden during his son, Hunter's drug addiction, is one of many findings Lanterman used to authenticate what is believed to be Hunter Biden's laptop data. What? You're confident based on your analysis. This is Hunter Biden's data and that it's real. Yes. This Delaware computer shop is where the laptop's backstory begins.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Their records indicate in April 2019, Hunter Biden took his laptop in for repair, but never paid. After 90 days, the store considered it abandoned. Okay. Huh. Who knew? Other than every American, every living American who has ever paid attention to a, broadcast. New.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Everybody knew. Now, they're treating, that's not a two-year-old, uh, old two-year-old report. Right. That just happened this week.
Starting point is 00:07:06 I will say too, isn't she, the reporter there formerly from Fox News, too? Oh yeah. Catherine Harridge, I think. Right?
Starting point is 00:07:15 Isn't she a former Fox News reporter? So, I mean, does this even count that CBS found it? I mean, this is a Fox News reporter finding it. Wow. That is a really fascinating.
Starting point is 00:07:24 I will say this. It is pretty incredible that the story of how it came to be that we got this laptop. It is amazing to me to this day that that story was actually true. Yeah. Like I kind of thought, like, I don't know. When they were like, oh, well, I just left a laptop at a repair shop as his dad's running for president. With all of that incriminating stuff on it. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Like, it just, that is one of the single most unbelievable stories I think I can, I've ever heard. in politics. I mean, like, think about this. If we, if you were watching, um, House of Cards, and let's just say this is a time when, you know, uh, the star of the show maybe wasn't touching young boys or whatever he was doing. Uh-huh. Allegedly. Actually, he got cleared from that, didn't he? Didn't he clear from that? He got cleared from one or two of those things. One of two of them. I don't know. I don't know if he was actually doing stuff or not. I don't remember the story, but the guy, I don't even remember his name at this point. The, the bald guy. What's his name? From House of Cards. Are you talking about it?
Starting point is 00:08:25 So Kevin Spacey, let's say Kevin Spacey was still doing the gig. And there was a narrative in the show in which his opponent in the election had a son who was troubled, had a laptop with all this incriminating information, and he left it at a computer repair shop. And 10 days before the election, it came out and bust the election wide open. The show would be canceled. It would be like, oh, come on. And why on, how could the son of a president, a potential president, who's been in the public eye forever? This is not like, it's not like, I don't know, Ross Perrault's kid, who seems to be very, he seems to be doing a good job with his life. But like, you know, Ross Pro kind of comes out of nowhere.
Starting point is 00:09:11 You know, he's obviously very wealthy, but not a publicly known figure as far as politics goes. He rises to the top kind of out of nowhere. And then his son did something stupid we didn't know about. Right, like, okay, maybe you could see that. This is a guy who's been in the public eye for decades. His son just left this computer there for all of this time. Yes. And it came out a week and a half before the election directly from the campaign of his opponent.
Starting point is 00:09:42 And it was all real. I mean, that is an incredible story. It was not Russian disinformation. No. And I never thought it was Russian hacking, any of that stuff. It was obvious from the beginning that it was. actually the right information. It was not fraudulent information. It was obviously hunters from the very beginning.
Starting point is 00:09:58 But like would I have been shocked to hear kind of the story of what was it, Ashley Biden's diary? Remember this where a couple of people, I think they were staying at an Airbnb or something. They found the diary and were like, oh my gosh, and tried to sell it to a bunch of different organizations. I could have seen that story. Like, you know, they went to a Starbucks and saw the computer realize it was Hunter Biden's just kind of like walked out with it.
Starting point is 00:10:23 and tried to sell it to a campaign. Totally couldn't believe it. That's a believable storyline. Right. It's not a believable storyline that Hunter Biden himself just left it. On purpose, apparently. On purpose, to be repaired and never picked it up? Or was he that spaced out all the time that he just didn't remember?
Starting point is 00:10:39 I guess that has to be it, right? I guess. It is an incredible storyline. But now, yet another mainstream media source has come through to tell us, yes, that storyline is accurate. That's exactly what happened. I mean, how embarrassing for CBS. You've got to know that everybody's already reported on all of this. They've already had it authenticated.
Starting point is 00:11:00 We already know it was Hunter Biden's laptop. I mean, they've done such research on it that somebody counted all the crimes that occur that they got just from the laptop. And it was more than one. It was more than one. More than two. Yes. Do you remember the number was in the 80s? No, it was in the hundreds.
Starting point is 00:11:17 It was in the hundreds. It was literally, it was either 600 something or 800 something. Both of those figures are in my head for some reason. And then they attributed six felonies to Joe Biden. So that seems important. Yeah, it does. Yes, it does. So we'll see if anything comes of any of that.
Starting point is 00:11:37 I doubt it. Does anything get to come of it? The Republicans are going to do. This is the one thing they are going to do. I mean, this is the first thing they're doing. And whether you have a lot of love for these efforts by the Republicans, they will put some effort in on this, I think. They do see it as some fertile ground. And now they finally have the ability to get this information, to release it to the public, to get some eyeballs on it.
Starting point is 00:12:02 And people should know that Joe Biden was obviously involved in these things. I saw a story today. Let's see if I can find it. Oh, yeah, here it is. The Associated Press made a statement about the Hunter Biden Joe Biden laptop. This is from Jonathan Turley at the New York Post. the claim is Joe Biden never discussed
Starting point is 00:12:27 business dealings with Hunter. Now we all know, Joe Biden has said that multiple times. But it has been debunked over and over and over and over again. Completely debunked. We know that that's been debunked. It's a lie. He is a lie.
Starting point is 00:12:41 He met at the, I believe at the White House with some of the business partners that Hunter had. It's not a close call. Multiple times. Yeah. the Associated Press's statement at this stage of the scandal was breathtaking but telling
Starting point is 00:12:55 Joe Biden has said he's never spoken to his son about his foreign business and nothing the Republicans have put forth suggests otherwise what are you talking about I mean like it's just like you know like if you watch season one
Starting point is 00:13:11 of a Netflix show and then you join back in at season five you might not know what happened in seasons two three and four, because you're not, you didn't see any of it. But like, the Associated Press is supposed to keep up with all the seasons. Like, they're supposed to follow the news on a daily basis. It's almost like they live in a cone of silence or something.
Starting point is 00:13:33 And they just don't know any, la, la, la, I can't hear you. La, la, la, la. And that's any information that they don't like, that's what they do. Are you that sheltered, really, that you haven't heard any of this evidence spilling out of all of us? it just shows you that they only they only listen and watch their progressive media I think too
Starting point is 00:13:57 one of the things that the media does is they get when they get the plausible option to say it's just made up and right wing nonsense they just take it they just get off that exit on the highway they're just off that exit they're at the McDonald's off the exit
Starting point is 00:14:15 They're not driving anymore. They no longer go down that road. And that is the way they handle the world. You know, I mean, I think a lot of, I really do think a lot of people, you know, like, I really do think. You hear that story. Put yourself back in 2020, a furious election going back and forth. Both candidates, very, very close election. And this story comes out and they say, oh, 100 Biden left to know, and it's Rudy Giuliani telling it to you, who at this point has, you know, is obviously.
Starting point is 00:14:44 Lost some credibility. And he's obviously a campaign operative. And he says, oh, hey, guys, we found this laptop. He left out of a computer repair shop. It is completely understandable to not immediately believe that story. Honestly, not only from the mainstream media who's already predetermined that everything that Trump says is a lie and everything that Biden says is gospel. But, I mean, even from a regular person, like, it's just an incredible story. It is.
Starting point is 00:15:13 But again, it's their job. to track down whether it's true or not. They could have easily tracked that down. Instead, not only did they just not even say, you know, it was true, not even if they say there's lots of doubts on the origin of this, they didn't cover it at all because they didn't want anyone to know the possibility of it being true existed. That is, they went so far as to shut down the New York Post report of it on Twitter. That's the oldest newspaper in the United States.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Incredible. Shut down because of this. Unreal. Unreal. All right. AAA 727 BECK, more in 60 seconds. You know what happened yesterday is President Biden pardoned a turkey. It's so adorable.
Starting point is 00:16:13 It's such a great tradition. What a great tradition. That turkey now will not be killed for Thanksgiving dinner. No. It'll be killed down the line somewhere probably. Probably next Tuesday. Wow, what a great. Not yesterday.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Oh, it's so. A, adorable. Oh, my God. B, important. And C, Joe Biden just handles it so well. You know why? He's so funny. Funny.
Starting point is 00:16:38 He's jokes. It's just a natural humor he's got about it. You know what I mean? Yes. He's so good at this. It's just so smooth and funny. And listen to the reaction of the crowd when we show you this. Man, do they love it?
Starting point is 00:16:51 This is what happened. It's raucous. How many turkeys you got down there? You're raising. Cirqueath's ranch grows about nine and a half million turkeys. God love you. Nine and a half million turkeys. I tell you what.
Starting point is 00:17:05 That's like some of the countries I've been to. What? Anyway. Anyway, that didn't work. You want to talk? Anyway. Okay, this didn't work either. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:17:18 What's the heck? This guy. What does that mean? Nine and a half million turkeys. That's like. Some of the countries I've been to. Are you talking about the people in the countries? There are turkeys or there are nine and a half million actual turkeys in those countries.
Starting point is 00:17:36 I don't know. Or have you been to nine and a half million countries? Each have one turkey? I don't know. No one knows. I don't understand how that's supposed to be funny. I mean, the best take on it, I think, correct me if I'm wrong here, Pat, but I think the best take on it is that he's saying other countries have a lot of like turkeys, meaning he's insulting the people.
Starting point is 00:17:58 I think the best case scenario is he's just insulting millions of people. Nobody got it or if they did get it, they didn't think it was funny. And every time, anyway, okay, I've said too much. And then we move on. I know. Move on to something else. When people do laugh at what he says, it's usually because he says something serious. And then he has to tell them, not a joke.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Not a joke. They don't laugh at his jokes. They only laugh at when he's trying to be serious. No. A joke. Not a joke. Putin must be eliminated from the planet. Not a joke.
Starting point is 00:18:33 That's not a joke. Sorry, Mr. President. So bad. And the video is worse than the audio. It is. I mean, he looks, again, completely incoherent. He does. He's out of it.
Starting point is 00:18:49 The lights are on, but nobody's home. No one is home. And he just celebrated his 80th birthday. What a wonderful, what a great, congratulations to Joe Biden, who is, who doesn't seem a day over 106. Now, I know you were young at the time, but do you remember the big deal people made, especially Democrats, made out of Ronald Reagan being 77 toward the end of his presidency? He was 77 when he left office. Yes. And everybody was like, oh, this guy's way too old.
Starting point is 00:19:21 He's too old for this. now we have a person who's disintegrating before our very eyes is now 80 and he's only halfway through his term. Man, it's fine. Yeah. You know what I remember most about the Reagan thing was the video for Land of Confusion by Genesis. And it was, if you remember, it was like they had those really crazy puppets, like caricature puppets.
Starting point is 00:19:45 And like, you know, the entire video is Ronald Reagan doing stupid things. But it ends. the song ends mercifully no I actually like the song but the song ends mercifully and they
Starting point is 00:19:57 it's Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan lying in bed and they have a couple he has puppets and they have a couple jokes and then Ronald Reagan
Starting point is 00:20:07 he I think throws water over his head or he throws it into Nancy's face when he's trying to drink it or something he's not able to drink the water I guess is oh because he's so old and decrepit and then
Starting point is 00:20:17 so he goes oh I need another glass of water so he puts it pushes back the curtain and he's got two buttons by the side of his bed. And one says nurse and the one next to it says nuke. And he presses the nuke button and he blows up millions of people because he's so incompetent. Now first of all, this is just an architectural problem. It's a design problem. You don't put the nurse and the nuke button right next to each other on the side of a bed.
Starting point is 00:20:39 You don't have to be 77 to make that mistake. I mean, what if you had too many drinks and you wake up in the middle of the night and you make a mistake? I mean, there's a real cost to that. millions of people die just because you press the wrong button. And I mean, they both start with NU. Right. So it's a natural mistake. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Anybody could make. But that's how they saw him. Now, I actually did something on this, on Studios America, which, by the way, you can get on your podcast anytime. Oh, wow. Yeah. Anytime it's available. And on YouTube as well. And we went through a comparison of Joe Biden and who he is and how we see him every day.
Starting point is 00:21:15 And I went through and went through the entire. exit interview for Ronald Reagan leaving the leaving the White House, leaving it. Yeah. With, I think it was Tom Brokaw. I think it was Tom Brokaw. And there is not a moment in this interview that, where Ronald Reagan seems anything like what Joe Biden is now.
Starting point is 00:21:40 There's like a moment or two, he can't remember a name. Like, it's like he's trying to remember someone from Hollywood's name. They're going back to his like old days in Hollywood. trying to remember his name and he can't come up with it. It's like there's that. But he goes through, tells detailed stories about every part of his life. Incredible. Not only would you never see that from Joe Biden, he's completely incoherent.
Starting point is 00:22:00 We've heard the corn pop story many times. But also, you'd never get an interview from a mainstream journalist with someone like Donald Trump today. I mean, it's actually a respectful interview. They're going through his life, his accomplishments, some of the tough parts. It really is amazing. Yeah. Hello. Pat Gray, Stubergear.
Starting point is 00:22:25 and Jeff Fisher joins us to chew the fat a bit here on the Glenbeck program. Have any of a podcast of that same name? I do. Chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher that you. People should subscribe to that. Absolutely, they should. Let me ask you this question, Jeff. Because I know you're fighting hard for us little people.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I know you are. I know you care. I have continued to fight for you little people. Have you been able to continue to keep the price at zero that you have to pay to watch the... If you were to go and subscribe to chewing the fat right now, it wouldn't cost you anything. Wow.
Starting point is 00:23:03 It wouldn't cost you. Congratulations. Thank you for your courageous stance on that. You don't know. You don't know the battles I've gone through for that. I know. I know I don't. That's why I try to bring it up from time to time so that people realize. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Oh, you're fighting. I really appreciate it because I think you do mean that. I do mean that. I very much do. What do we have going on? I appreciate it. No, I want to talk about Chris Hemsworth a little bit. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Why not? You know, he's got to take some time off now. Oh. I mean, he's been working really hard. You know, he's been doing some reshoots of extraction two in Prague. Extraction two. He's been shooting. Now, let me ask you this.
Starting point is 00:23:43 If I were to watch extraction two without first having seen extraction one, would I understand the subtle nuances of the movie? I don't think you would. Enough to enjoy it. I don't think you would. So you suggest I go back and watch extraction one. I would watch the first one before watching two. But, however, I mean, I'm sure Chris would tell you, you know what?
Starting point is 00:24:04 Go ahead to just watch two and then break down one. Wow. All right. I mean, I guess. I don't know. We could ask him. I'll reach out. I'll reach out to Chris.
Starting point is 00:24:13 Well, he's taking some time off. He is taking some time off. So you can't ask him. Well, I mean, he's got to do his whirl run tour promotion for Limitless, you know, the docu-series he's doing. and he's got, you know, other movies that he's still doing that he has to wrap up. But he was going to take some time off to be with his family. Because during the shooting of Limitless, he found out that, well, he's predisposed to Alzheimer's. Oh.
Starting point is 00:24:43 So he may get Alzheimer's. No, he doesn't have it. Okay, so he's exhibiting no symptoms of it. He's only 39 after all. That's correct. That would be very early. So it's very, very early. But he has two of the 3% of people with two copies of the gene, APOE4.
Starting point is 00:25:04 So he went to like... That makes him eight to ten times likelyer to develop Alzheimer's than the general population. But the chances of getting Alzheimer's are very low for an individual. So eight times something that's very low is still very low. Stoo. Right. Stoo. Nevertheless, yes, to take...
Starting point is 00:25:22 some time off. More than you. So basically what happened here is this movie star, who we remember from such great films as Thor. Thor. Thor.
Starting point is 00:25:33 And extraction one. And extraction one. Thor and extraction one. He took an online genetic test and they told him he's got a chance to get Alzheimer's so he's taking time off. That's not what you need to do. He's got to be with his family.
Starting point is 00:25:49 He was getting blood work done for the program and he was informed that he was eight to ten times likelier to develop Alzheimer's than the general population. This is a lesson in relative versus absolute risk. Right. Your absolute risk would be low. Your relative risk compared to another very low absolute risk would be high. That does not necessarily lead to something that should make you take time off.
Starting point is 00:26:16 No, he's got to take a break. Take a break. I mean, at least that's less draconian. and then what, what's her face? Angelina Jolie. Right. She was predisposed for breast cancer
Starting point is 00:26:27 and cut them off. Right. She's. That's right. Remember that? That was a thing for like it seemed like about a year. Yeah. And then took them off.
Starting point is 00:26:38 This might happen at some point in the future. So like just get rid of these pubes. Yeah. I mean. Yeah. Okay. No, not okay. That's, that's okay.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I mean, it's your own choice, of course. But I would say not a great. idea. Does it seem like a great idea? Do you want to know? Wouldn't the answer, I mean, honestly, like, I don't know, man, but like, wouldn't the answer just be to get, you know, pretty regular testing? Yes.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Like, you know, something worse to develop. Maybe take another, an extra vitamin a day. Uh-huh. Something, you know, find out a good, you know, diet. We talked about this yesterday, you know, moderation. In all things. That's me. That's, nothing says more.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Man, you scream moderation in all things. This is exactly my. point. Everything in moderation. And perhaps, you know, you do that. This is sort of the Jeffie approach. Because I know you're always coming in with test results from various medical establishments. For all sorts of things. The doc is like, oh, boy, man, you need to.
Starting point is 00:27:38 You got so many competing viruses and awful biomass attacking. Bacteria attacking the other ones that's what's kept you alive for all these years. They fight to a stalemate and that's what keeps you alive. That's the only thing that can do it. I'm not opposed to that. Do they bundle all of the tests you get in like a Jeffie special? I wish they did. They just give you a discount.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I wish they did. If you're getting 40 to 50 tests in a week. I don't have any idea though. There's no, there's no doctor has said next February going down. It's over. You know, that's the last time. I think doctors rarely say that to their patients. Do you want to know?
Starting point is 00:28:19 Even if it's true. Right. Do you want to know? No. I don't know that I do. I wouldn't want to know. I don't know. I mean, you're supposed to live your life like you're going to, like you want to every day anyway.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Yeah. Tell all the people that you love, you love them. This is the road we're going down, though, with the medical world where they're getting so good at, you know, looking for little details that could lead to X, Y, and Z that people just assume they have it and start acting like they have it. Now, look, the breast cancer thing is probably an extreme example of that. But like, you know, who knows? If you get it, maybe you're more likely for it to spread and you don't want to risk it.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I'm sure there's very difficult conversations that go on around those sorts of decisions. But like, I am a little concerned that like you're going to get doctors being like, hey, look, it looks like you might get this some point in the future. And you start acting as if you have it. And you start making life decisions based on whether you like you have a disease. But that you actually don't. That you don't have yet. And that you might have years and years and years to live a normal life. and instead you're starting to make decisions based on the possibility of something bad happening to you in the future.
Starting point is 00:29:25 That's no way to live. Well, I agree with that. You do. I do. I agree with that, Stu. I think what you just said was right. I mean, it's a concerning trend. That I agreed with you?
Starting point is 00:29:37 Yes. That's very concerned. It's a terrifying future for all of us. It's nice of Chris to be able to be in the situation. that he's in to say, oh, man, I might get sick. You're going to take some time. I'm going to finish this film and do this promotional tour, and then I'll fly back home to Australia and spend some time with the wife and kids,
Starting point is 00:30:02 you know, until the next movie contract comes up and then I'll have to go to work again. Yeah. I mean, when you're doing movies like that, too, a lot of people just sort of don't do them for six months, and they just take time off. You don't need to make an announcement about your health. Just don't do it. Right. You know, like, Norm McDonald was like, hey, you know, one day he was like, oh,
Starting point is 00:30:20 Norm McDonald's dead. Was it Norm McDonald or was that, yeah, or Sag? Yeah, it was, it was, Norm MacDonald. He was just like, oh, yeah, he had cancer for the past several years, no and knew. Yeah, that was Norm McDonnell. Yeah, and I was like, oh, my gosh, really? But, like, he lived right to the end. Yes, he never let anybody really in other than people, I guess, who were very close.
Starting point is 00:30:36 Some not even that were very close. He didn't want people treating him differently. He wanted to go to. To be Norm MacDonald. Be funny. Be able to do the comedy he wanted to do. all the way to the end. And he did.
Starting point is 00:30:48 And he did. And he succeeded. Everyone was shocked when he died of this long-term illness. Right? I don't know. I feel like that's the way you do it. Yeah, that seems like the right way. Now,
Starting point is 00:30:59 you brought up Bob Sagga. Did you talk about, have you talked about on this show yet? The autopsy that came out? No. With him? Oh, boy. We could talk about it.
Starting point is 00:31:07 I love the Bob Sagga story. The Bob Sagget saga is. Because he passed away in a hotel room. Well, he bumped his head. We were told if you remember, remember back in January when he died, he bumped his head like in a shelf or, I don't know, a door. And then he laid down. Then he thought nothing of it.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Layed down, covered himself up into bed and went to sleep and dead. Yeah, I remember that. I remember that's how honestly, you know, look, we just went through a very big election, which was my focus. We've had other things going on. That's what I remember about the story. I don't remember any update. So all of this to me is a complete surprise.
Starting point is 00:31:40 Here's the update. He was, he had an injury. that is consistent with being hit in the head with a baseball bat. He had multiple fractures of the skull. And then I guess somebody hit him in the back of the head with a baseball bat. And he thought nothing of it and went to bed. I mean, that happens all the time. All the time.
Starting point is 00:32:08 He said, the quarter said it was consistent with either the baseball bat or falling from 30 feet onto the back of your head. I mean, it was a significant injury. So was the theory that he got attacked or is the theory that he just... They don't know. The theory is that the bed was up too high in the hotel. He fell out. He rolled out. It's really wild.
Starting point is 00:32:30 I mean, I guess if maybe you slip and you hit your head on like marble or like a marble like bathtub type of thing, maybe you could see. But you wouldn't, I mean, you fractured your skull. That's a lot. You would not lay down and go to sleep, right? You would maybe call somebody and say, hey, I, I. think I really hurt myself. Yeah. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:32:48 I mean, hotels are full of due people. Just call them and they're right there outside your door. Yeah. Do people. What else do you call them? You're a very strange person. You do realize that.
Starting point is 00:33:04 How else do you call them? Yeah, that's interesting. I don't know. I mean, I could see if you hurt yourself. You're like, oh, God, I just got to lay down. You know, and you don't realize it's that bad. And you just pass out 30 seconds. later? I don't know. I don't know what the story
Starting point is 00:33:17 could be. That's the original story was that he was all, I mean, it wasn't like he just passed out in the bed, right? He was tucked in. He was under the cover. That was the original story. So it was like he, they found him, you know, just, oh, he just went to sleep. He just went to sleep. He thought nothing of the injury that he had.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Went to sleep and never woke up. So, I'm weird. It's a weird story. I know, we've had a bunch of these weird stories. Yes, we have. You know, sometimes people answer the door for police and then walk back to their attackers. These things happen. They're very, very strange. You know, I don't know, fractured skulls.
Starting point is 00:33:50 And they continue to just talk to the police while they're in the ambulance. Amazing. I wonder if maybe we should call the Clintons and ask them if they've added a name to the list. And was it Bob Saget? It may have. Did he have any ties to the Clinton family? That's what we should look into. AAA 727 B-E-C-K.
Starting point is 00:34:09 This is the Glenn Back program. Welcome. It's Pat and Stu for Glenn on the Glenn Beck, program, AAA 727, B-E-C-K. Michelle Obama is, she's still a victim. Americans have treated her so poorly. Oh my gosh. All you do is your negative Michelle Obama content, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's not fawning constantly.
Starting point is 00:34:43 No. Fawning over her as one of the great heroes and saviors of our nation. That's not what happens. And when she was in office, she was never in office. Well, when her husband was in office and she was there. Right. I just want to make sure we point out that she didn't actually accomplish anything. That's really true.
Starting point is 00:35:02 That's the negative sort of content that you hear. I'm not saying that. That was an example of the type of things you hear about Michelle Obama. The kind of victim that she is at the hands of the rest of us. Yep. America's always treated her like garbage. She couldn't even wear her hair the way she wanted. to when she was off in office yeah she'll listen to her here talking about it's black women we
Starting point is 00:35:24 deal with it the whole thing about do you show up with your natural hair you know yeah braids y'all braids wouldn't be your natural hair you know great the hair i did not wear braids oh no why It's black. Yeah. Yeah. We got to ease up on the people. That's funny. I thought about it.
Starting point is 00:35:49 I was like, it would be easier. Nope, nope. They're not ready. Oh, that's funny because that means the entire countries are a bunch of racists
Starting point is 00:35:59 and that's why it's funny. Yeah, right. It's a funny joke because all of America are racist because they don't want to see black people's hair, which is not something that's real. Is just, I straight out,
Starting point is 00:36:10 not a thing. Real. No one cares what kind of hair you have. No one cares, Michelle, what kind of hair you have or how you wear it. No one cares. It's fascinating that we elected her black husband as the president of the United States. Proof of the racism. The man whose name, by the way, is Barack Hussein Obama. He had shared a name with our most hated enemy. And was one letter off of the other most hated enemy. Yes. Right. And we were open enough to, to vote for him and he got the presidency and But the people were ready for her. They were ready for her braided hair.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Straight blonde hair. I hope we see her with straight blonde hair or I will not be able to accept her. No, zero people on earth thought that. Yeah, nobody cared. Nobody cared about her stupid hair. No one cares about your stupid hair. By the way, your natural hair is not braided. You have to braid hair for it to be braided.
Starting point is 00:37:10 It does not come out. It's not natural for it to be braided. That's a hairstyle. But see, it was really important for her to put the word natural into it because that now makes it a racial thing. Right. That makes it a racial thing. Like, I happen to be a renowned expert in braiding my daughter's hair. I'm excellent at it.
Starting point is 00:37:26 I'm very good at it. Are you? Yes, I can do a great job. So you allow her to have her natural hair. No, that's not her natural hair. I have to sit there and do it for it to occur. Weird. The hair doesn't swim in the air back and forth.
Starting point is 00:37:40 forth and braid itself. Someone's got to do it. It's that your natural hair. Oh, God, it's so agonizing. It is. It is so tired of it. No one cares about your hair. Stop dreaming up fantasies in which people care what your hairstyle is.
Starting point is 00:37:59 That's what she does, though. She always thinks the worst of the American people. Always. Like, we weren't ready for it. How do you know? What are you talking about? You didn't even try it. They elected Barack Hussein Obama.
Starting point is 00:38:10 To be president. Yes. They didn't elect you to anything. By the way. Agonizing. This is the Glenn Back program. The Supreme Court is going to hear oral arguments in 303 Creative versus Alinus. It's a clash between free speech and LGBTQIA2 plus rights.
Starting point is 00:38:35 So does somebody who is a web designer have to design a website for a same-sex couple in their marriage? Do you have to? Yes. Yes. And then they have to go on the honeymoon with that couple. Oh, okay. Yes. All right.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Seems a bit extreme. If there is intimate activity, that is... They must participate in it. Yeah. And that really... Well, otherwise, it's hateful and homophobic, right? Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Thank you, Pat. Yeah. You're welcome. No one sees this like you do. Right. You know? I know. I like to cut to the chase.
Starting point is 00:39:09 You don't get to it. There really is a movement now among the LGBT. BTQQIHU plus community to shame like lesbians into thinking that they are supposed to be attracted to males who are now claiming their women, trans people. Oh, right. Why are you not attracted to that? Why are you a hater? It's incredible. It's unreal.
Starting point is 00:39:30 We'll talk about that and much more. Some interesting cases the Supreme Court's going to tackle. Come on up. We'll get to that and a lot more. When you're little, you've been braced, you're on have braced, Always in trying to negotiate, to exchange these cards of hockey, the bonhomes,
Starting point is 00:39:44 the bonhomes, even of the collation. You know that each thing has a very long to have been before having to not really changed.

Starting point is 00:41:03 AAA 727BECK. I'm going to tackle a couple of Supreme Court decisions. They're about to hear some oral arguments in a couple big cases. Tell you what those are and get into that and much more in about a minute. Well, the holiday season is here. Starting point is 00:42:30 the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court are going to hear arguments in a clash between free speech rights and LGBTQIA2 plus rights. It's interesting because this is about a web designer who has been asked to do a website for a same-sex couple, and they believe that offends their religious beliefs and shouldn't be forced into doing it. And I can't believe we're still on this. I know. How is this possible? Is this decided already?
Starting point is 00:42:58 It's the Supreme Court has made such narrow. rulings that no, they really haven't addressed it yet. I don't know how they couldn't. I don't know how they wouldn't. But could we please put a stop to this once and for all? One of the clearest lines I feel like when it comes to constitutional law is compelled speech. You can't force someone to say something, right? You can, there's a lot of stuff you can do, unfortunately, too much. Yeah, in my mind. But when it comes to compelled speech, you can't force somebody to. You can't force somebody to say something. You can't force someone to write something. You can't force
Starting point is 00:43:36 someone to create a particular piece of art. Yeah. That's usually the way this is always worked. And you can't force someone to go against their religious beliefs. Yeah. And this is exactly what's happening here. And in the bakery instances, there's
Starting point is 00:43:52 been a bunch of those. Wedding photographers. Right. It's another big one. Over and over and over, we go through this. Please make the broad ruling that it's okay for you to stand up for your religious beliefs. Plus, why would you force somebody who doesn't want to do something for you into doing it? Why?
Starting point is 00:44:12 Their heart and soul is not going to be in the project. Go find somebody who's perfectly fine with doing what you want them to do. And quite clearly, the goal is not to actually get the website done for the same-sex couple. They're trying to persecute these Christians. They want to make their lives miserable, which is terrible. But I mean, we talked about this, I think, maybe last week, Pat, there's this controversy going around with Candace Cameron Buree. Yeah. Where she left Hallmark, where she made 947 Christmas movies.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Yeah. And she had about 15 minutes. About 15 minutes. And she went to Great American Family, which is now trying to become the third network in the arms race for. Oh, yeah, because there's Hallmark Lifetime, Lifetime, Lifetime. And now Great America. Fala La La Lifetime. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:45:01 every year, same one. And it's not that I watch all these movies. And now Great American Family. And so Great American Family, by the way, now I happened to, once I heard that Candace Camer Bure was over on Great American Family, I did go over to Great American Family to see what movies. I don't know if I even have that channel.
Starting point is 00:45:17 You probably do. I mean, I don't know. I did have it. We have a lot of channels. Yeah, there's a lot of channels and I don't know what many of them are. Nor do I ever go on them. But because of Candace Camer Burray, I did find myself on Great American Family the other day.
Starting point is 00:45:30 Were they doing Christmas movies? So they've got a small slate of Christmas movies coming out this year, new ones for this year, 2022. Now, they're the third, you have to understand, they're not the number one or the number two in this. They're the third biggest Christmas movie, cheesy Christmas movie channel. They only have 18 brand new Christmas movies that are debuting this year. That's pathetic. 18. 18.
Starting point is 00:45:57 And year one, they got 18 ready to go. Maybe they were doing this other years. didn't know about it. This is the first year I was aware they were doing this. Now, they have 18. I turned it on yesterday or the day before, which is before Thanksgiving. And they were on premiere number nine. So they've already shown a half of these movies before Thanksgiving's even happened. And I don't know what they're on now. I don't know if they're on 10 or 11 or 12, but they were on number nine. And first of all, fantastic films. As always, I bet they are. I I bet they are.
Starting point is 00:46:32 They're so great. Like I just, it's the second, you watch a minute of one of those movies and you can tell the entire plot of them. They're just fantastic. The one I was watching the other day was a woman with an accent. She was apparently a princess.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Oh. And now this is a believable plot. Uh-huh. So she was on a private jet. Okay. And very snowy area. And she hears a bell. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:46:59 In the forest. Oh. What? she's at an airport on her private jet. And there's a forest near the airport. I should point out she's inside the private jet. Okay. Oh, and she hears the bell inside the jet.
Starting point is 00:47:11 No, no, well, she's not, the bell is not inside the jet. Right. The bell is in the forest. Okay. Which is next to the airport. Yes. She's inside the jet. Now, she hears it so clearly she gets up to see what's going on.
Starting point is 00:47:23 She has to know why is she hearing a bell. Yeah. Outside of her jet. She would be very curious about that. Where's that bell? coming from. Right. Is it a church tower? Right. Is it, uh, is the hunchback of Notre Dame there?
Starting point is 00:47:38 Is he ringing it? And here's a thing that it definitely was not a church tower because it was a little jingly bell. Like for example, the bell you might put on a collar of a dog. Or like a Santa is ringing outside a, no. No, no, that's not that kind of bell. It was like the bell that you might hear on the collar of a dog. Okay. So she comes to the steps of the private jet. And she hears it again. Oh wow. Now, we see. see an entire...
Starting point is 00:48:02 Did you hear it more clearly outside the plane than inside? Yeah, I was slightly more clearly. Now, I want to make sure you understand the situation here. You have a private jet. Yeah. You've got a runway. You've got an access road of some sort. Okay. Then it goes all the... You know, there's some
Starting point is 00:48:17 grassy area, which is covered in snow. I assume it's grass. Could be dirt, but it's covered in snow. And then there is a forest that begins. She is on the plane. She was inside the plane and heard the spell. Now, obviously, she's And by the way, she's a princess of some undetermined country.
Starting point is 00:48:35 Very prim and proper. Does she have super hearing? Is she like a bat girl that can hear things? It's not a country of bat women. Okay. Huh. So what would you do? Now, if you're a princess, you're in, I think, Maine.
Starting point is 00:48:48 You're on the runway. Hmm. What would you do exactly if you heard a bell in the forest? I'd have to wander out to the forest and find the bell. Shockingly, you're 100% right. That's what she does. and when she gets deep into the forest, she discovers it is a very small puppy with a bell around his collar.
Starting point is 00:49:12 Now, I am not an expert in audio engineering per se. Yeah. But it would seem unlikely that while sitting on a plane, you would be able to hear this bell in the forest. So she goes out. And yet it happened. In the cold, it's in a plane. Clearly it happened.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Yeah. So you can't make that up. And then she finds the owner who happens to look very similar to Santa Claus. Oh, really? Yeah, just a guy with the white beard and the mother. There's a few days before Christmas happens to look just like Santa Claus. And then they cut to right out of that scene after they meet. They cut to the next scene, which is a guy who is standing in his, at his tree farm or something.
Starting point is 00:49:57 I don't know. Maybe getting these movies confused at this point. owns the tree farm, obviously. He marries the princess. Immediately. Like, as soon as you see this man standing there, you know they get together. Like, it is absolutely, so she gets straighted there. He's probably ruggedly handsome. Right. Yes. Very ruggedly. Yes. In fact, that's true. And she's quite beautiful. She's quite beautiful. And she has an accent. And unfortunately, now what happens in the movie? Pat is, we're getting a tad off topic here, but I think now people need to know what happens
Starting point is 00:50:29 in this movie. I think they do. See, she was on the plane and waiting to be to taking off she wanders into the forest what does the plane do? Now this is a plane owned by a king right and a princess is on it
Starting point is 00:50:44 what does the plane do? Leaves. But just takes off without her. They don't notice they don't know. They don't check on her pre-flight at all. They don't check on her.
Starting point is 00:50:53 They don't know if she they just assume she's on the plane. Okay. So they take off. And of course, as you know, Pat, there was a snowstorm going on. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:51:03 So they couldn't contact anyone in the country to tell the king or anyone on the plane. All of the communications lines were down, including the, apparently the internet. Everything was gone. Wow. And the fact is this princess was missing, not an international news story at all. Just like they just, she just had to shack up with this guy because it was the only place that she could find housing in the middle of a blizzard. Sure.
Starting point is 00:51:33 So, wonderful story. And shockingly, they ended up together. Anyway, the point of that story was to tell you. You've just blown the ending. Spoiler alert. Did I say spoiler alert? No. That's what's so problematic about your story.
Starting point is 00:51:47 I want to first of all, apologize to the American people, but you should definitely watch this movie. It's fantastic. What's the name of it? Do you know? I don't know. I'm looking at people like they're going to know. The Christmas Princess.
Starting point is 00:51:59 I think it might be the tree farm guy. Christmas. You just throw Christmas at the end of it and it's a Christmas movie. Hold on. I will tell you the name of it here in just a second. So the point of that was to say that Candace Cameron Bure was being interviewed by someone and said, hey, are you going to have some LGBTQI-A-2 plus community storylines? And I think she had the nerve to say that they're going to concentrate mostly on traditional marriage. Yeah, she said we're going, the core is going to be traditional.
Starting point is 00:52:31 She didn't even say, yeah, no. There's no chance. No, nor did the owner of the channel say there's no chance we'll ever do that. Neither one of them did. Neither one of them did. But she still got hammered for it. And like, if the case that you're talking about, the website case where they could force someone to make the website for the LGB-QQI-A-2-plus family, if that were to, if the Supreme
Starting point is 00:52:53 Court were to say, yes, you can force that person, wouldn't you be able to force cameras, Candice Cameron Burey to star in an LGBTQI-A-2 plus storyline? Yeah, absolutely. Right? I think you could. I think you could. If there was a producer who was gay and he desperately, desperately wanted, and I don't know why you would, but he desperately wanted Candice Cameron Buree to do his movie.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Right. And she had to play a lesbian. Right. She'd have to do it. You'd have to force her to do it. Now, at the same time, they would say she was appropriating the culture of lesbians. Yes. And so she couldn't play it.
Starting point is 00:53:26 And you should never have a straight person. play a gay person. So I think at the end of the day, there would be a constitutional crisis where we wouldn't be able to, we wouldn't be sure which woke intersection wins. We have to figure out. All because she left Hallmark and went to this American family thing. Right, which is obviously terrible. I mean, how could you, how could you do that? By the way, Pat, you had a guess. You guessed. You guessed the name of the movie. I did. Was what? The Christmas Christmas princess. The actual name of the movie. Jingle Bell Princess. Okay. Because there's a jingle bell. She heard on the plane.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Oh, yeah. And she's a princess. So you almost nailed it. Is the guy who looks like Santa actually Santa? You know, I don't remember if I saw an update on that part of the storyline. It didn't seem to have anything to do with the movie. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:14 The fact that the guy looked like Santa didn't seem to have anything to do with the movie whatsoever. So I don't know. Unbelievable. And the dog was an interesting part of it too. The dog, like, appeared at the beginning and then seemingly showed up later. as a just in their yard. Yeah. Like in the yard.
Starting point is 00:54:32 And then they're like, oh, that's, that's old man, you know, Billy's dog. I can't, but what's it doing out here in the cold? Like, yes, this little tiny puppies. Oh, well, let's just keep it. They just kept it, of course. So great. And it became a Christmas present for the, uh, the daughter. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:54:48 The daughter of the, the daughter of the Christmas tree farm owner. Yes, the Christmas tree. I think it was, but he's a damn good father. Whatever he was. He's a really good father. But his wife had just died. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:55:02 The wife had just... Sad. The wife had died in a car accident. What are the odds? In a previous Christmas. Yeah. Oh, so he doesn't... Christmas time is really hard for him.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Because his wife had died. And by the way, you're going to be stunned to hear that the princess looks very similar to the wife, which isn't creepy at all that they're hooking up now. No. No. This random princess just showed up. We're going to hook up around Christmas because you kind of look at. like my old hot wife that's dead.
Starting point is 00:55:30 Merry Christmas, everybody. I can't wait to see it. More coming up in just a minute. It's Pat and Stufer Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. All of this discussion about the Christmas movie came from this Supreme Court decision that will have to be made after they start, you know, the arguments December 5th. In this doesn't, does a web designer have to design a website for a same-sex couple? The other thing, this is interesting, the other thing that the Supreme Court has agreed to hear
Starting point is 00:56:02 is a dispute between Jack Daniels and a company that makes squeaking bad spaniels dog toys. Apparently Jack Daniels is suing bad spaniels because it sounds too much like their name. Oh, come on. And the Supreme Court doesn't even rhymefully. Has chosen to hear this case. I mean, the things they have turned down over the years
Starting point is 00:56:27 And now you've chosen the bad Spaniels lawsuit, really. The case will have implications for the tension between parity and intellectual property. So I guess we're going to decide what you can make fun of and what you can't and what's parity and what isn't. Incredible. Jack Daniels and bad Spaniels. If we can't differentiate between those two, we don't deserve to exist as a society in my mind. Right. Like it's just a...
Starting point is 00:56:57 Come on. Do we have this low of an opinion on the American people that they can't differentiate? I feel the same way, honestly, about the fake meat lawsuits. Yeah. They're like, I don't know if people can tell that the thing that says plant-based meat, is that really meat? People won't be able to tell. It's like, they all can tell.
Starting point is 00:57:16 They all can tell. It's why they're buying the other package. Everybody knows what, yeah. Everybody knows what it means and they avoid it. Yes, they all know. They all know. It's a very strange thing. And they, you know, it's mainly for meat, you know, processors who are trying to.
Starting point is 00:57:31 I don't know why they feel threatened by these products. I don't think they shouldn't because they've really died off in the last year or so. Yeah, I mean, they're not, there's still very much a niche product. I'm sure, yeah. But most people who eat meat have kind of rejected them and said, yeah, okay, that's. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. It's very true.
Starting point is 00:57:48 It's, there's most people don't, they're not looking for an alternative to meat. Right. At some point they may, right? There may be, you know, opinions change over. society. It may become, as we've seen recently, it may become so expensive that people can't afford it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:02 Maybe they don't want to eat the bug burgers that are the alternative at that point. Who knows? We'll see. We'll see how this plays out. But I do think that the idea that people can't tell. Like, one of the things they do on this stuff is they put, like, for chicken, they put CH-I-C-K-A-postrophe N. Chicken.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Chicken. Chicken nuggets. I don't think that would fool me. Yeah, I don't think he'd be like, oh, gosh. Doesn't it say plant-based chicken? Usually, yeah. I mean, look, they want to put that on the package because the only people who would buy it are people who want plant-based chicken. Vegetarians mostly.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Vegetarians or vegans or whatever. Right. So they're looking for that particular thing. They're looking at the package to try to discover whether it's something they want to eat or not. I mean, it's just so stupid. You know, it's the, you got to put a disclaimer. Like, don't put the snowblower on your roof to clear the, to clear this in snow. It's like everybody knows this, but I guess you.
Starting point is 00:58:56 you get sued one time too many and you start putting disclaimers everywhere. That is a weird one for the Supreme Court to care about, though. It is. And how many, what is it, bad spaniels? Yeah, what is it again? What are they selling? And they're selling dog toys. Like, how many dog toys could this company possibly be selling?
Starting point is 00:59:13 I don't know, but bad spaniels, way too close to Jack Daniels. If I saw them together, like in a store and you have the dog spaniel toy, dog toy, and Jack Daniel's whiskey, I wouldn't know which is which. What do I choose? How do I differentiate between the two? I can't. I'm just not capable. I mean, that's what apparently we're led to believe here.
Starting point is 00:59:39 But it would be nice if they do differentiate between parity and intellectual property. There's been a lot of lawsuits over that lately. And the Babylon B has been taken to task. They've been sued. I mean, everybody's suing them for the parody. they do. And it used to be pretty well understood. If it's for comedy, leave it alone. It's no big deal. Yeah. Not anymore, though, because we've gotten so stupid, so butt stupid as a society that this has to go to the U.S. Supreme Court. Yeah, they got nothing better to decide, right? Nothing better to rule on than that.
Starting point is 01:00:18 Would you, if given the choice, be in favor of a law that forced both Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito to live in a, in a bubble so they would be protected from all possible problems, either health-wise. Yes. I just want doctors surrounding them 24 hours a day. No kidding. They've got to stay alive. Yep. More coming up.

Starting point is 01:01:13 You know, five stars, of course. Five stars is the appropriate number of stars. I will say significantly lower percentage of stars should be given to Avatar. You know what? I've never gotten that phenomenon. I don't understand. Is it a phenomenon? Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:01:30 It was the biggest movie of all time, right? Money-wise, anyway. It was at one point. It was? It's not now. I think it's number two now. Oh, was it Spider-Man that passed it? Or what was it? No, no.
Starting point is 01:01:42 I could be wrong on that. If you look at it, I think America, it's not in the top two even. It's like number four or five. But globally, it's very big. Avatar's a very big deal. I don't understand it. I really don't. I don't understand it either.
Starting point is 01:01:57 I really don't. And to the point out, a new trailer came out for it today. And it is impossible. possible for me to overstate how stupid it looks. If I had a month to describe to you how dumb this movie looks, I would never succeed in actually getting it across. It is incomprehensibly terrible. The only reason people wanted to see it the first time when it came out like a hundred years ago was because it was impressive technology. Right?
Starting point is 01:02:31 It was built up in the media to say, hey, it like, it. It was like when CGI, like no one really knew what it was. And it was like, okay, wow, look at this. They just basically created a somewhat lifelike looking kind of cartoon, which looks to me like the bad interludes in a video game. When you like complete the board and they show a dumb movie where like they have people walking around, they don't really look all that natural.
Starting point is 01:02:55 And you're like, wow, that kind of looks almost sort of like if they used a $12 camera to film it with regular people. It's like, wow, they spent a lot of money to recreate that. So it's some dumb environmental message, which of course doesn't endear me to it either. Yeah. But like I just I've seen a lot of liberal movies. Yes. Theme to it as well.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Humans are infesting everything. And especially the military, the Marines. Anti-military. Yeah. I mean, it's James Cameron. Obviously it's going to be a liberal hack sort of message. But I've seen a million movies with a liberal hack messages that were good. What is this?
Starting point is 01:03:31 No. And then people. have made this point. I'm not the first one to make it. But I know of no one who can name a character from this movie. Can you name a character? Can anyone? Does anyone
Starting point is 01:03:46 know of a character that was in this movie? I'm not saying, remember every plot point. But like a lot of people can just say, you know, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker. Yeah. And this is the realm of comparison we're talking about. The biggest movies of all time. Star Wars. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:04:04 I don't know, some of the stupid superhero movies, the Avengers and such, right? Yeah. The biggest movies of all time, Titanic, right? We all remember what happened in Titanic, right? What happened in Avatar? Does anyone know? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Did they vanquish the evil army that was attacking them? I don't know. I don't know. It was like a full-length movie of the Ewok scene. Yeah, it was like that. from Return of the Jedi. Mm-hmm. And somehow this movie made more money than almost any movie ever.
Starting point is 01:04:39 I think worldwide is number one. Yeah, it is. It's at number one with $2.9.22 billion. $2.9. Almost $3 billion is what that's made. Which is 2009. Incredible. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:52 Maybe people in other countries are like, wow, look at all this incredible technology. And we don't have any other movies to watch. Like, maybe that's the only movie that's ever come out globally. I don't know. I don't know what the explanation for that would be. I leave that to other cultures. I know they did, didn't they do like an avatar world as part of like. A Disney world?
Starting point is 01:05:10 The Disney world. Yeah. Yeah. It's incomprehensible to me. It is. Me too. You feel like you can understand culture at some level where like, okay, I can see. Like, I'm not a, I'm not a fan of Adele.
Starting point is 01:05:24 I don't like Adele particularly. I don't like her music. I don't, but I can tell. I couldn't name you an Adele song. Right. There's one from a James Bond movie. Okay. Skyfall?
Starting point is 01:05:35 Maybe. But there's a couple of Del Sogs that were pretty big. Like, she's a massive star. Beyonce, massive star. Every time she comes out with a new concert tour, she sells it out immediately. Whenever, look at the Taylor Swift thing from this past weekend. All of those things are things that I can understand. I don't agree with the cultural phenomenon.
Starting point is 01:05:56 Like, I don't, I'm not like, wow, I can't wait to get my Tait tickets, right? Mm-hmm. but I can comprehend what's going on. The Avatar thing is completely incomprehensible to me, particularly not because only it's just an absolutely terrible-looking movie and does not make any sense as to why anyone would be interested in it. But also, I don't see any interest in it. I don't know anyone who's interested in it.
Starting point is 01:06:24 I've never met anyone who thinks it's good. Yeah, there's about nine sequels coming to it from it. I haven't heard anybody clamoring for it. Hey, when are they going to do another Avatar movie? Yeah. I mean, it's been since 2009. We've all forgotten about it. I think we all forgotten about it in 2009.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Yeah. In 2009, I don't think everyone was like, oh, gosh, that was, what an incredible story. It was my favorite movie of all time. Hey, this guy invented some new theater technology and, like, there's some pretty cool stuff we've maybe never seen. All right, let's go check it out. And I was like, ah, that was pretty cool. It was, like, visually impressive.
Starting point is 01:06:56 That was, like, all I remember hearing about it. And all I've heard about it since. Mm-hmm. Now, the reason why I have this rant, and I'm so passionate about this, is I've made a bet. I wagered with someone that this movie, the bet is that Avatar 2 will gross more in their first weekend than Top Gun Maverick. Now, Top Gun Maverick was a massive, massive hit. It is also one of the biggest movies of all times. It's over a billion dollars worldwide.
Starting point is 01:07:33 11th right now. 11th all time. 11th. And it just came out this year. It was a massive success. Everyone talking about the movie all the same time. Big deal. Right?
Starting point is 01:07:44 Yep. We are now a few weeks away from this Avatar movie coming out. I still have barely heard word one about it. I mean, I just heard that in the, you know, this trailer came out today, which is why I'm thinking about it. But the number is 134.45 million is what we negotiated this to, first weekend. and Avatar 2 has to clear that in this first weekend domestically, not globally. Because globally, I don't know what. Look, people eat rats in other countries.
Starting point is 01:08:09 I don't know what their tastes are. But this is America. This is a terrible, terrible movie. And there's no way it should make $134.45 million. So you're saying it's going to come in under 134. Under 134.134.45 million. Okay. Now, as I tell you this, bad.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Uh-huh. I was completely sure when I made it that I was going to be right. Top gun, you remember what a phenomenon that was? Yeah. Right? Yeah. The problem here is I will tell you that the person I made the bet with is a former movie executive. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:08:46 Who knows this business very well, much better than I do. So I'm very, I'm very nervous I'm going to lose this bet, but it feels like I'm going to win it. Is there a lot of money on the line here? enough that it's like I don't want to lose it. Yeah. You know, it's not like a dollar. You know, we were like, oh, let's make, I'll bet you a dollar. Wasn't one of those.
Starting point is 01:09:06 It was a little bit more than that. Not a lot. Not going to ruin the kids' Christmas. Right. But I want to win it more because I want to be right. I want to know that this country is not a country of buffoons. That's what I want to know. I want to know this country should not be sliding into the abyss.
Starting point is 01:09:24 We've had a lot of problems over the past couple of years. We should not compound that by going to see. the Avatar 2. I agree. I agree. We should make a statement. I would rather see Jingle Bell Princess 1,000 times in a row than watch Avatar 2. It is the single dumbest concept I've ever seen. And because this guy spent so much money, they're going to have to release these, whether they're successful or not. Oh, yeah. I would assume overseas it's going to do well, because there's a bunch of people who want to go see it, you know, when you can go to the concession stand and pick up a fried rat. You're like, I got to eat my fried rat on a stick and also consume a movie that,
Starting point is 01:10:08 I mean, personally, given the choice, I'd rather have a rat on a stick than watch Avatar too. Yeah. I mean, I have never understood it. I didn't get it in 2009. I certainly don't get it now. There's no way anybody could reasonably explain to me its popularity where it brought in $2.9.22 billion.
Starting point is 01:10:33 Billion dollars. $2.9 billion? Come on. Even movies, Pat, that you haven't seen that were on that. Do you have the list of the top movies? Do that what you're looking at? Which one on that list haven't you seen? Well, first, let me tell you, Avatar, obviously number one. And this is not inflation adjusted. Because the number one movie for
Starting point is 01:10:49 you know, after you adjust, continues to be gone with the wind, right? That's always been number one if you adjust for inflation. Everybody in America saw it. But this is globally too. This number is global. Number two, Avengers Endgame, $2.7 billion. Titanic, $2.2 billion.
Starting point is 01:11:10 And number four, Star Wars, episode seven, The Force Awakens. Can you believe that's now the number one Star Wars movie? I like that. Two billion. I mean, it's okay. That was okay. Avengers Infinity War 2 billion
Starting point is 01:11:24 Spider-Man No Way Home 1.96-916 billion Jurassic World That's an interesting one Because Spider-Man No Way Home People really liked It's obviously a Spider-Man movie But like I don't know
Starting point is 01:11:38 I don't remember hearing particularly like It's not like I think of people are like Oh do you remember that part in Star In Spider-Man No Way Home Like I don't remember that being like a A story that everyone was quoting from and doing me I don't think so. Like Infinity Wars, everyone was doing that, right?
Starting point is 01:11:54 Like, it's a cultural phenomenon. And end game, too. And end game, yeah. They got a lot of buzz. Yeah. It was a big movie. The Spider-Man one was a big movie, but I don't remember, other than that being like a good Spider-Man movie, I don't remember hearing much about it particularly.
Starting point is 01:12:09 The Lion King probably had a lot of buzz when it came out. Oh, yeah. The Avengers, number nine, and rounding out the top ten, Furious Seven. Fast and Furious Seven. Yeah. Now, again, Fast and Furious 7, Spider-Man, you know, Avengers, those are movies that do really, really well overseas.
Starting point is 01:12:28 Mm-hmm. So that makes some sense. Again, this is only, my bet is only on domestic box office. That should be interesting. I really want to win it. Because once it goes to China, it's going to surpass one point, or 134 million. Oh, yeah, yeah. For sure.
Starting point is 01:12:44 It's not, it's not China. It's got nothing to do with China. I'm not betting on China. So when does this come out? Is it, it's early December, right? Yeah, let's see, Avatar. I don't know of the, I know it is before the end of the year. Let's see, is it the Christmas?
Starting point is 01:12:59 I feel like it's one of these holiday weeks. Oh, maybe. December 16th. So right before Christmas is the day. Well, now I'm excited to see it come out because I want to see if you lose your bed or not. I know. I'm trying to get him to lock into a long-term bet on it too, like doubling down on it?
Starting point is 01:13:20 Really? Because, you know, Avatar was known for its staying. It kept going. It didn't like have big drop-offs from week to week and kind of stayed in theaters for a long time. Trying to get him to agree to that. So far, he will not agree to that. Keep trying.
Starting point is 01:13:35 I'm trying. Triple-8-77 B-E-C-K. More coming up. Stay informed. Sign up for the free newsletter today at glenbeck.com. Not only did Avatar become the highest. grossing movie of all time, but this new sequel has to make, according to James Cameron
Starting point is 01:14:01 recently, right? Has to make $2 billion to break even? Two billion dollars to break even. Two billion? So it has to be immediately one of the top five movies of all time. In order to break even. That's just incredible.
Starting point is 01:14:21 My conspiracy theory on this is that he he makes Titanic, makes a bunch of money. Then he makes this, makes a bunch of money. And then he's like, ah, you know what? I'm going to do four more.
Starting point is 01:14:33 Pay me for that. And so all this time, he's been releasing little bits and pieces. And they all suspiciously look like the last Avatar movie. Like there's been no improvements. It's just the exact same thing. Yeah. My guess is,
Starting point is 01:14:48 this comes out December 16th. On December 15th, we find out he's disappeared. and then they go to start the the they go to start the films in the movie theaters on the 16th and there's nothing there. He didn't actually make the movie. He's just been collecting cash this entire time.
Starting point is 01:15:05 Oh, that might be kind of fun. I actually see that happen. That would be better than watching it. I'll tell you that. Yeah, it would. The silence in the theater would be better than watching this piece of crap. Here's the domestic all-time adjusted for inflation. numbers. Star Wars
Starting point is 01:15:24 New Hope, still number one. 1.5 billion dollars. Titanic 1.2. E.T. 1.2. Star Wars, the Force Awakens just over a billion. Then you've got Avatar at number 5. Star Wars Empire strikes back. 887 million.
Starting point is 01:15:44 Avengers End game. Then you've got Return of the Jedi, Jurassic Park, the Lion King, and Phantom Menace. Wow. I don't see Gone with the Wind is nowhere in there. I thought that that was well over a billion dollars adjusted for inflation. I see that at the top of some of these lists as well.
Starting point is 01:16:04 I mean, again, the same person who's in movie executive, former movie executive, when I brought up the inflation adjusted numbers, he's like, yeah, you know, the problem with that, though, is it's not just inflation. It's also like there was no competition. Like, it would be at 100% of theaters and that was the only movie you could go see for the week.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Yeah, no TV too. It's kind of hard to compare going back to Gone with the Wind Days. Yeah, no TV. Like, yeah, there was just like not... It's really apples to oranges at that point. But again, I'm hoping he's completely wrong on all of this, so... We'll see. Does America have taste buds?
Starting point is 01:16:41 Because if they, if you have... If your taste is bad enough to go see this disaster... Oh, we just elected John Fetterman, so... This is... line back program. Currently negotiating a guest appearance from Pat Gray on Studez America right now as we speak. And what does it pay? I'm trying to book a on that.
Starting point is 01:17:00 Oh my gosh. It's incredible. Is it incredible? The amount of pride you will be paid in. And feel. Cash money. I'm thinking more along those lines. Cash money.
Starting point is 01:17:09 Yeah. Well, there's a lot of it out there. Is there? Oh, yeah. In fact, they're printing it like crazy. Okay. Printing it like crazy. But how much of it comes to me if I make the appearance on your show?
Starting point is 01:17:19 Well, I mean, it's whatever. amount you normally make. Yeah. Okay. If you take that and you can multiply it by one. Yeah. And that will be the amount you also get for the entire year. I can multiply what I usually get by one.
Starting point is 01:17:34 And that will be the same amount you get this year. Wow. Yeah. So. Wow. How could I turn that down? Okay. I can't.
Starting point is 01:17:41 Good. Good. I can't turn that down. Yeah. So, you know, right before you're, he's going to be on news and why it matters as well. We've got a bunch of, it's kind of a weird taping schedule we have this week because, you know, everyone's on vacation. and such.

So there's going to be, apparently, they're talking about a rail strike.
Starting point is 01:21:02 Now, I thought we averted that before the election when Joe Biden stepped in, right? Mr. Amtrak, Mr. Train Travel. The Train Man. Yeah. I mean, how many times did he speak with Ange, you know, at the old railway station in Delaware and talked about the two million miles he's traveled on the railway? Can you imagine how many times Ange has tried to kill herself because of those conversations? sessions. Well, Angie's a man. Oh, yeah, Angelo is a man. Oh, okay. I'm thinking Angie. No, Angelo.
Starting point is 01:21:32 Angelo has also tried to kill himself. Although, who are you? He actually has died. Who are you, first of all, to tell me he's a man? You just, you, that is just in your head? Well, his, I know his pronouns were he, him. Oh, okay. So that's where I got it. Do you know that? How do you know if he's dead? I do know that. because before he died, he emphasized that his pronouns were he, him. He was a trailblazer. And to be clear, we are talking about a real person here now. Okay. Yes, this is the guy who kept having the conversation with Joe about the two million miles he traveled on the railways.
Starting point is 01:22:09 That he, you know, because people were talking about how many miles he's flown on Air Force One or Air Force Two. And Ange said, you know, that's no big deal, Joe, you know how many, Joey, you know how many miles you've traveled? 12 million? Of course, Ange was dead when Joe said he had that conversation with Ange. Oh, God. Poor Ange. I know.
Starting point is 01:22:30 So was this a zombie situation or was Joe Biden just lying again? I think it was a walking dead type of thing. Yeah. Yeah. Because, you know, this president doesn't lie. How could he lie? He's so honest. He's too incoherent to lie.
Starting point is 01:22:42 You have his word as a Biden. He has told us in the past. So that means a lot. Yeah, doesn't it? That's a lot. I know it meant a lot for Hunter. Yeah. will pay you for this crack. You have my word as a Biden. That Eastern European woman will be paid for
Starting point is 01:22:59 her services. You have my word as a Biden. That's the type of thing. Powerful. It's powerful. It's powerful. It really is. So anyway, I thought it was averted, but apparently not. Well, yeah, this is interesting, because before the election, we were told he was the hero here. Right? He was able to negotiate this massive deal that saved us all from this terrible, terrible thing that could happen to us where we would not be able to ship goods and, you know, on trains across the country. We could have commuter rail shutdowns. We'd have all sorts of massive problems heading into the holidays. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:31 And thankfully, Joe Biden stepped in right before the election, saved the day. Big train guy. But now we find... Big train guy. Huge train guy. Now we find out this is similar to the COP 27 global warming conference plan they came up with, which is not a plan per se. It's not an agreement per se.
Starting point is 01:23:50 What it is is an agreement on framework. Okay. An agreement on framework. Which means it's an agreement to agree, to meet again, to potentially agree. And maybe, okay. That's all. Another agreement. Right.
Starting point is 01:24:10 So no agreement on the global warming thing that they talked about. In fact, they're just agreed to meet in a year. Okay. To try to discuss more details on the framework they apparently agreed to. And the same thing here with these unions. So Biden supposedly stepped in, negotiated this big solution. Everyone was happy. And then everyone said, well, give Biden the points.
Starting point is 01:24:32 You can now say he's averted catastrophe. Congratulations. Vote Democrat. And then what we now find out is four of the unions have not agreed to this compromise. Four of the groups have said, no, thank you. This is wrong. And the problem is if one, even one of the groups says that it's wrong, they all have to go on strike. So we're now looking at potentially another rail strike coming up here as soon as I think December 5th,
Starting point is 01:25:02 which might be a problem as we lead into the Christmas season. You think? Could potentially be an issue. Okay. But I'm in some ways more fascinated by the fact that the media gets away with us over and over again and unions get away with us over and over again. The media gives credit to the Democrat for this incredible solution, which isn't real and has not occurred. It may turn out to be real. Maybe these four groups come along and say, okay, we'll take the deal.
Starting point is 01:25:28 But they have not yet. So this is not over. And they do not seem to be on the verge of agreeing to this. They have massive problems with it. So that's part one. And as you look at this sort of as you kind of zoom out a little bit, you have a situation where unions are constantly, portrayed as the good side of every battle. The media constantly says,
Starting point is 01:25:52 oh, the unions are there, they're fighting for workers' rights and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, even when the result of what the unions are doing is keeping your kids out of school, for example, for multiple years at a time. And saying they don't want to show up and teach classes, they just want to be paid, that's all.
Starting point is 01:26:10 They want to be paid and safe. Just make everything safe. Make it impossible for me to get sick and I'll come back to work, which is a totally fair bargain. Absolutely. Makes a lot of sense. Did they get any blame from the media on this?
Starting point is 01:26:23 No? Not a bit. Now the same thing here. We're in the middle of the verge of an economic crisis, teetering on the brink of economic crisis, right before the holidays. And yet another union is ready to shut down the country's economic system, multiple billions of dollars a day in economic activity.
Starting point is 01:26:42 And is there any blame for the unions? No. Do they have any fault in this? No. No. Not at all. They're just heroes. They're always heroes. And this one, they're not even asking for more money.
Starting point is 01:26:53 I guess they want more time off or something. You know, whatever. They may very well have valid complaints. I don't know. But I will say that I do notice the difference in the way the media treats these unions. Oh, my gosh. Than the average worker. And yet, isn't it interesting?
Starting point is 01:27:06 Barack Obama just said yesterday that Fox News and right-wing media filter everything. so that that prevents all bipartisanship. So there's the only message that gets out is the right wing message. Oh my gosh, no way. Yeah. Like in this rail situation with the unions getting no blame
Starting point is 01:27:28 for anything. Is that because of the right wing? Is that because of Fox News? No, I don't think so. I don't think the Fox News and a few podcasts have overpowered ABC, NBC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, LA Times,
Starting point is 01:27:49 Washington Post, USA Today, Time Newsweek, Primetime TV, movies, streaming TV and movies, virtually all actors and actresses in Hollywood, rock music, the educational system, you know, from grade school, from even kindergarten, and all the way through every single college, nearly.
Starting point is 01:28:14 Yeah. Oh, Fox News, though. Yeah, but there's Fox News and like us on the radio. I guess we negate all of the American culture. But those two things, Fox and us. And it's amazing how these people whine about the media coverage that they don't have when they've been nothing but supportive of, the last, well, two of the last three presidents.
Starting point is 01:28:44 One of the last three presidents has got nothing but flack from that media. But man, Barack Obama was protected. Joe Biden was protected. Just like, as we talked about at the start of this, with the rail situation, he'd already fixed that, we were told. And it must, you know, I don't know that it won him the election. No, I don't think so. But may have won him some key votes.
Starting point is 01:29:09 Yeah. Same thing with the student loan plan. Oh, yeah. You know, the student loan plan comes out, I think quite clearly is just an attempt to win votes for the midterm and may hit less of a catastrophe than it could have been. Right. He, this is not one of those things, this borderline. Every single person knows, I'm not making this up. They all know.
Starting point is 01:29:32 They all know this is unconstitutional. They all know that if it gets to the Supreme Court, it's going to be shot down. They all knew it on day one. Every single one of them knew it. There was a question about standing and how someone would get standing in a suit that would be able to be elevated to the Supreme Court. But everyone knew when it got to the courts, it would be shot down. It's not a thing. It's blatantly obvious you're not allowed to do this.
Starting point is 01:29:53 You're not allowed to spend a trillion dollars without even asking Congress. Everyone knows that. We've always known it throughout our entire history. It's not questionable. It's not borderline. They all know that this cannot happen. But what they're doing now, first of all, is they gave credit. to the Biden administration for how wonderful he was and said,
Starting point is 01:30:12 look at this incredible thing that's going to help all these people. Then they let the, then, you know, we've now gone past the election and a lot of this stuff has been overturned. But what Biden is doing now is he's sending out letters to people who applied, and those letters are saying, hey, you have been accepted. You've been accepted to this program. We're going to, you're going ahead with letters to people? They're going ahead with letters anyway.
Starting point is 01:30:36 And they're saying now there are some legal. challenges. And so what they're doing here is trying to to exert the highest amount of pain for the individual who really needs some debt relief, someone who owes $10,000 and really wants it relieved. They want them to believe it's in their fingertips before this is taken away from them by those evil courts and evil Republicans in the courts. They want the average poor person who doesn't have enough money to pay their college loans. to suffer more, to go through more pain and difficulty, thinking they have this.
Starting point is 01:31:15 Yeah. And then, oh, the rug was just pulled out from you by Republicans. When the entire time, they all knew, and have admitted previously, they were not allowed to do this. Even Nancy freaking Pelosi said she wasn't allowed to do it. Even Biden's own Department of Education said they couldn't do it. But instead, they lied to try to do it anyway, knowing it would be shot down,
Starting point is 01:31:38 and now they're trying to exert the maximum amount of pain from the poor people who are affected by this by ripping out the rug and then blaming Republicans. I mean, these are not good people. No, they're evil. They are not. These are, this is all, this is not a political disagreement.
Starting point is 01:31:58 This is not like, well, I think they should have this debt relief, and I don't, and you don't. No, that's a viable, conversation to have. I mean, I don't see how it's fair, but okay, you want to pass a bill that says we're relieving debt for people who want to call? You can do that, but you have to pass a bill, and everyone knows you have to pass a bill, including you. Right. And they're doing it this other way intentionally to try to make it as painful as possible for these people who think it's going to go
Starting point is 01:32:29 away. And then what are they going to do? They're going to blame Republicans. They're going to look at this and say, oh my gosh, Joe Biden tried to give me all these wonderful things. And and then the Republicans took it away from me. Even though the Democrats knew the whole time they couldn't give it. It's just, it is cynical and awful. And really, you can't be a person of character and think this is a good idea. You can't. You can't.
Starting point is 01:32:52 You can make the argument that as a person of character, we should relieve this debt. I don't really get it, but you can make the argument. You can't make the argument doing this way is something someone with any character would do. because you're hurting the people who you're claiming to help and you're doing it only for your own gain and power. Yeah. That's despicable. Right. And it was only popular with the people with a select few people who were handpicked basically and told, yeah, we're going to wipe out $10,000 of your debt.
Starting point is 01:33:24 When they knew they couldn't do it, as you mentioned. And other people who had already paid their college debt were a little pissed off about this. because, hey, how come we had to pay and they don't? So it was a bad policy to begin with and they're just using it as a battering ram against Republicans and judges, Republican appointed judges. Pathetic and despicable.
Starting point is 01:33:48 AAA 727 BECK, more patents do for Glenn coming up. All right, how many times have we heard science has settled? There's consensus on climate change. A million, right? According to, though, the British website, Daily Skeptic. They just did a survey on this and found that only 41% of scientists believe the frequency and severity of extreme weather events has increased significantly in recent years. 59% don't agree with that, which is quite different from what they tell us all the time.
Starting point is 01:34:29 Sure. But I mean, you look at the data, it's really hard to make that case. I mean, that it's more frequent or in more intense. Yeah. Droughts, floods, tornadoes. tornadoes, hurricanes. Yeah. There is no long-term increasing trend in any of those areas.
Starting point is 01:34:45 In fact, there's a slight decrease in hurricanes in particular, which are the most, obviously, like tornadoes are really bad. They affect very small areas. Drought, there has been drought, but when you look at the actual percentage of land that's in drought, we're not at all-time highs by any means, the wildfires is another one. I mean, remember that big, before COVID, they had that season where they were saying, Australia, half of it's burning down. There was all these like celebrities on Twitter saying, oh, please donate.
Starting point is 01:35:13 All this global warming is causing fires. Of course, that's, you know, an insane way of looking at this problem. But it's also not true. In fact, it wasn't even an all-time high in Australia. It was like a normal year, slightly below average. The problem was the fires were closer to people in this particular case. Normally they're out in the middle of nowhere and there's no people out there. These were closer to people so people were more affected by them, which is obvious.
Starting point is 01:35:38 obviously bad, but, you know, it's really, we're not seeing any increase. In fact, the, you know, century-long trend is a decrease. And of course, the miracle here is that we have had, when you talk about climate-related deaths, we have a decrease of over, over 99%. A decrease in climate-related deaths. Because that's one of the things they scream about now. Climate-related deaths are way up. No, they're not up.
Starting point is 01:36:06 No, they're not up. In fact, when you... What about the climate-related refugees? No. What about them? What is that exactly? I don't know. You know, it really isn't...
Starting point is 01:36:16 They talked about this. What was... I think it was Michael Schellenberger's book where he goes through one of these claims where they say, you know, all these people are going to have to move, you know, millions of people are going to have to move, and they go through all this, these scary claims. And you're like, well, that would be a big problem, right? Like a highly populated area that basically got wiped out and everyone would be. would have to move.
Starting point is 01:36:38 Initially, they kind of said, well, all these people are going to die? And you're like, well, are they going to stand there as the water rises above their head? Are they going to move? Or they'll leave, right? Of course, they're going to leave. But you'd say, okay, well, this is bad, though. You're going to have a situation where a lot of people are refugees. Yeah, you'd have to leave Miami and New Orleans.
Starting point is 01:36:54 Yeah. In places like Bangladesh, right? Coastal cities. Like really, really. Yeah. So the, the, legitimately how they came up with this was to act as if nothing would occur. human beings would not do anything,
Starting point is 01:37:08 they would legitimately stand there as water started rising up to their ankles and then eventually would leave instead of, you know, building a seawall, for example. Yeah. So you're saying that's possible for human beings to build a seawall? Well, you know, there's a...
Starting point is 01:37:23 Only since when, like this year, have they been able to do that? Well, there was a storm that hit Texas long ago, Pat. You may remember this. I may remember it. 1900-ish. Galveston? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Galveston, Tesk. Virtually destroyed, by the way. Virtually destroyed. 10,000 people dead. No one knew it was coming. Yeah. I mean, it was a massive hurricane that hit with no, literally no warning. And it was a cat five, they think.
Starting point is 01:37:47 And so thereafter, Galveston raised the city 17 feet. Raised the city. 17 feet. In 1900. Yes. So could we do something? Would we just let the water lap up to our knees? Is that what we would do?
Starting point is 01:38:06 No, I think we might look around and say, you know what? We better do something. And like a lot of people, like there is something, of course, to planning for something long term. Right. Like, you know, like when you have, when you're building a new facility or something and you want to put in technology that will last, right? Yeah. Technology that will last. Let's put in the stuff that we, so we don't have to change this out every five years.
Starting point is 01:38:28 The problem, of course, is you don't know what's going to happen in five years. Yeah. You don't know what the technology is going to be like. you might, for example, in that five-year term, the iPhone might get created, and then you need totally different technology to support a new infrastructure. Expand that to 100 years. Yeah. You don't know what the challenges are going to be with the environment in 100 years,
Starting point is 01:38:53 and you certainly don't know what technology will have to fight it. So adaptation is almost always the best answer in these situations. See what's happening. try to protect yourself against it. It's why new homes built in Florida are built for hurricanes. It is Pat and Stew for Glenn on the Glenn Beck program. You're looking for something delicious for the Thanksgiving week. You can always go to kexie.com and buy some cookies.
Starting point is 01:39:36 They are delicious. They're fantastic. Very true. Or you can wait until Friday when we have our biggest sale ever. Really? Biggest sale of all time. That's pretty enticing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:48 I'll be there. You'd be there? I'll be there. I'm all for kex of cookies. Yes, I will. K-E-K-S-I-K-E dot-com. I think we have new poll results in the big battle that's coming up on December. Is it fifth or sixth?
Starting point is 01:40:01 December 6th in Georgia? Whenever the voters, we don't live in Georgia, so we're not paying that close attention. But Herschel Walker needs to win for a number of reasons. Now, a lot of people have said, eh, it doesn't matter anymore. They got control. but that extra vote could mean a lot. It's the sixth, by the way. Okay.
Starting point is 01:40:21 Yeah, it could mean, you have to remember, too, that it carries over. It's a six-year term, so it carries over to the, when we're all back here talking in 2024, saying, I wonder if Republicans will get the Senate. Having one seat already locked in is going to make a difference. Yeah. This particular election that we just went through started with Democrats winning 36 to 29, meaning those seats were not up for election. They started the base.
Starting point is 01:40:44 level was 36, 29 Democrats. So you're behind the eight ball already. That's why it was so hard for Republicans to win. Yeah. And why they struggled in the Senate, you know, even though the House wound up being pretty difficult as well, this is one of the main reasons they lost the Senate. So when you, it's important for that reason. It's important because the next two years, we went through, we just went through a two-year
Starting point is 01:41:07 situation where Democrats wound up with just razor-thin margins. pushing everything through. And there were two senators there that were typically the only ones that stood in the way of anything, Kirsten Cinema and Joe Manchin. Well, you kind of wipe out one of those two, right? If you get the Herschel Walker...
Starting point is 01:41:26 If you get to 51. If you get to 51, you have one more to play with. Now, of course, Republicans with the House, they can block the spending bills, the reconciliation bills, you know,
Starting point is 01:41:36 the multi-trillion dollar bills we've been talking about. So they should be able to block those through the House unless incompetence hits at even a high, rate than we expect. However, when it comes to judges, they can put the most extreme judges possible, even ones that Joe Manchin would reject and get them through. That's a big deal as well.
Starting point is 01:41:56 Getting them to 50 is significant. It's a really big deal. And so this is a huge election. And so there's only one poll I've seen that has come out to kind of look at what does Georgia look like on December 6. And it just came out, it said had Raphael Warnock 51. And, you know, and Herschel Walker 47. Now, of course, wow. It's not really possible for it to be 51 to 47 because there's only two people to vote for in a runoff. So we don't know. There's obviously some people in that poll who are undecided, I guess.
Starting point is 01:42:32 But 51 will win for Raphael Warnock to explain basic math concepts to you. So that's enough. That's enough. Again, 51, and I say this all the time about polls. Polls, while they have a bad reputation, they do what they're supposed to do pretty well, which is tell you generalities. They do not tell you specifics. They do not tell you who's going to win to the 10th of a point. They have a margin of error, which we all understand, but we all forget about when we hear polls like 51-47.
Starting point is 01:43:04 Basically what that's telling you is going to be very close. That's all. We kind of knew that going in. No huge surprises there. The one interesting part about this is the people. they asked, I think, a really smart question as a follow-up in this poll. They said, okay, who are you voting for?
Starting point is 01:43:18 Herschel Walker or Raphael Warnock? People answered that. Then they said, hey, who did you vote for in the election when it comes to governor? Was it Kemp or was it Abrams? In this sample, they came up with a group that said Kemp plus six.
Starting point is 01:43:35 So Kemp plus six was the sample size of the new poll. In reality, Kemp won by eight or nine. So it was a slightly more democratic audience, slightly more pro-Abram's audience, voting in this poll or participating in this poll, than the actual electorate. So that might be a good sign for Walker that maybe he's got a couple points to play with. The other thing is you've got to see who's coming out. Who comes out in an election like this? You have the Democrats who are kind of, I get, I mean, again, this is all
Starting point is 01:44:03 kind of insane, but the Democrats are looking at the 2022 elections as a win. Because in the last week or two, polls looked pretty solid for Republicans, and they thought they were going to lose, and they wound up losing, but not losing as poorly. They lost the house. I don't know if anyone remember. This is a big deal. They lost the house. They didn't win the house. They didn't improve. They didn't gain seats. They lost the house. They went from controlling the house to not controlling the house. And it means a Republican speaker of the house. So that was big. Huge. Because they can block all of these terrible things Biden wants to do. Yeah. So that is, they're portraying. that as a win because they
Starting point is 01:44:41 thought the losses would be worse, but it is not a win, it is a loss. And so the question is, if you're the average voter in Georgia, are you more inspired to come out because you believe as a, maybe a Democrat,
Starting point is 01:44:57 that you did better than expected? Are you more likely to come out if you were a Republican and thinking we got to protect this 50-50 thing? We can't let it get to 51-49. Is it the, is it the team that's excited about the election that gets out to vote or the team that is angry about the election and wants to stop the bleeding that gets out to vote.
Starting point is 01:45:16 I don't know. I mean, it really could go either way. I expected to be very, very close. Yeah. But because Republicans do have control in the House now, you've got Kevin McCarthy, who's going to be the Republican leader almost for sure, is promising to remove Alon Omar and others from their committee seats, which that's a big deal too. You know, because now they have control over who sits on these committees and who chairs the committee and all of that.
Starting point is 01:45:45 And what McCarthy has said is that he's going to remove Ilan Omar from her foreign affairs committee seat. So that would be great. Now, she says it's xenophobic and racist. Okay. So I guess when Nancy Pelosi did the same thing to Republicans, that was also xenophobic and racist. but he's also vowed to get rid of Adam Schiff from these committees and Eric Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee, which would be a smart idea since the guy slept with a Chinese spy for two years. And nothing's been done about that.
Starting point is 01:46:27 And Eric Swalwell is so dumb that sleeping with a Chinese spy is one of the smartest things he's ever done. Most of the rest of it has been worse for the country. and for himself. But this is sort of revenge in a way for what Democrats did. I mean, Democrats kicking Republicans off of the January 6th Council, for example. They didn't like the Republicans that were selected, so they booed them off.
Starting point is 01:46:51 And then eventually Republicans said, all right, screw it, we're not going to participate at all. They have also looked to remove people like Marjorie Taylor Green off of different committees. So this will be interesting to see if he goes through with it. I think he probably, I think there is an understanding from even Democrats that they're going to get when they did this back in the day, they were going to get some revenge when power changed hands. And they will.
Starting point is 01:47:17 They will feel that. And they need to. They need to. It would be nice if Republicans followed up on something like this and did something for a change because usually they don't. Usually they just sit and take it. Everything the Democrats dish out. And then when they are in the majority, they just kind of sit there and say, oh, we don't want to be mean. Oh, we don't want to do anything to them.
Starting point is 01:47:39 That wouldn't be nice. But also I wanted to show you this MSNBC guest talking about America's policy on billionaires. This is what we're up against with the left and left-wing ideology. Listen to what was said about billionaires on MSNBC. It appears to be a game to him, but letting Donald Trump back in the room, Kanye was posting again yesterday as well. What does it all add up to? You know, first of all, I think something we often forget as Americans is that billionaires exist as a class of people who have that much money at our collective pleasure, right?
Starting point is 01:48:22 It is a policy choice to allow some people to accumulate that much money, hundreds of billions of dollars in the case of people in the United States, before everybody has the chance to live with dignity. Right? Other countries make that choice very differently. We have chosen historically to heavily prioritize having billionaires over having dignity for all people. And that's a choice I would just start by saying that we could make differently in the future. And so I wrote the piece to try to remind people of that choice we have. Is that bizarre? And last week was remarkable. I mean, I've written about billionaires for years and talked about these issues on the show. But it was hard to imagine a week when there was so many spectacular reminders. of the way in which this kind of billionaire class is inconsistent with democracy as we live in. Elon Musk. Okay. We're not in a democracy. All right.
Starting point is 01:49:15 Heavens. I mean, you know, the most fascinating part of that. It's unbelievable. Marxism is very unbelievable. I think what I found most interesting about it is that he thinks it's a good point. Like, he legitimately thinks that's a smart point, a smart thing to say. Of course, you know, of course, there's billionaires in all countries. Yes.
Starting point is 01:49:33 So no country has made the. the collective decision to get rid of them. And what kind of policy decision is it? I guess he's trying to say tax them higher? Or is he trying to say that capitalism shouldn't be practiced in this country? But even in places where it isn't practiced, in communist countries, there are billionaires. Yes, there are. Zhang Yiming, number 24 on the list.
Starting point is 01:49:58 He runs a company called TikTok. I don't know if anyone's heard of it. I've heard of it. $49.5 billion net worth. in a communist country. Oh my gosh. Somehow he was able to... So they made the collective decision that they will create billionaires in China.
Starting point is 01:50:11 In China. Okay. By the way, there are also no people, no people not only in America, but in the world that have hundreds of billions of dollars. That's not something that exists. Now, maybe, I don't know, Vladimir Putin might have it, and we don't know. Well, I think Elon Musk does. He has $181.89 billion. Okay.
Starting point is 01:50:30 He has over a hundred. Bernard Arnoll and family. in you may have heard of this country, France, the capitalism, the center of the world for capitalism, number two, $172.8 billion. An Indian capitalist, $136.7 billion is in third place. And you've got, you know, the- Wow, Bezos has really fallen, hasn't he? It's down to four. I mean, they reported today that the Alexa project, Amazon, I'm sorry, I just said that. Amazon Echo.
Starting point is 01:51:02 is losing $10 billion a year. What? $10 billion a year. And almost, you know, how's that possible? It's a great question. I read the article to find the answer. And it was basically they have no way of making money off of it. They sell all of them at cost.
Starting point is 01:51:18 And then their idea was basically we will get people to do things on the speaker that will bring in additional revenue. Like they cut a deal with like Domino's pizza at one point. so that you can say like, hey, the name I'm not going to say, can you order me a pizza from Domino's? And they would get a cut from that. And they actually, they negotiated the deal. I don't know if they still do it, but they did it at one time. And so they thought, oh, we'll get a cut of that.
Starting point is 01:51:46 Well, no one orders a pizza like that. No one. So they didn't get any money out of these deals. Well, that must have been one of the few mistakes they've made at Amazon. They've done very well. Yeah, he's done okay. Bezos is four, Warren Buffett five, Bill Gates six. Warren, fat piece of cream.
Starting point is 01:52:00 Crap, Buffett is still in there? Still there. Oh, wow. He's at number five. How much? Six. He's at 109.4 million for Buffet. I'm sorry, billion.
Starting point is 01:52:09 Bill Gates at six, 104 billion. Larry Ellison, 104 billion. And then Mukesh Ambani in... I love Mukesh. Really? Yeah, he's great. You have said that before. Yeah, I have.
Starting point is 01:52:21 And now you do. Yep. Okay. 91 billion. Carlos Slim from Mexico. Oh, yeah. Yep. Telecommunications guy.
Starting point is 01:52:30 Yep. And then Larry Page from Google at $83 billion. It's funny, all these people are big democratic donors. Virtually every single one of them. Virtually, yes, maybe not every single one, but many. Number 15 on the list is Zhang Shan Shan. I love Zhang too. And his Shen Chen.
Starting point is 01:52:52 You love Zhang and a Shen Shan. Yes. Another French, Francois Betancourt Myers and family, the L'Oreal. people, 71 billion dollars. Wow. There are definitely Spain. There's Spain. There's Canada.
Starting point is 01:53:05 Are they the ones that just bought Tom Ford out? I don't know. Are you? I'm not sure. Okay. I thought you'd be in the, you know, the makeup king of the blaze. You might know that. And is that how I'm known around there?
Starting point is 01:53:17 Yeah, everybody knows you as the makeup king. The makeup king. I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. So the bottom of mind is, of course, billioners are all over the place. Now, do we have the most successful economy in the world? Yes.
Starting point is 01:53:29 Yeah. that we have to have the most. Yes. But should we shut it down? Should we shut it down? No. Like what idiots like this guy are like, oh, well, you know, we've seen all the success. Let's destroy it.
Starting point is 01:53:40 Yeah. Let's come up with, let's try to be more like China and more like France and more like India. Crazy. And therefore, I guess we'll have few. I mean, I don't even know, honestly, per capita. Whether France has more billionaires. It's probably not. It's probably still lower.
