The Glenn Beck Program - EXPOSED: The Billionaire Kings Behind the No Kings Protests | 10/20/25

Episode Date: October 20, 2025

Glenn discusses the various No Kings protests that took place across the country over the weekend. If these protests are against the rich and powerful, why are they funded by the rich and powerful? Gl...enn argues that these protests aren’t about dismantling power; they're about rearranging power. Did George Soros and his Open Society Foundations help fund these protests? Glenn plays some terrifying footage of a protester admitting he would commit political violence. Glenn reads a passage from the book of Romans to inspire his audience on how to react to protesters who advocate violence against them. Glenn urges any protesters to ask themselves one question before they pick up a protest sign: “Why am I here?” These protesters aren’t for facts or free speech; they’re just for power. Glenn rants against the hippie generation for refusing to let go of their reign on society. Glenn lays out the specific ideology that is fascism and how it differs from communism and authoritarianism. Glenn gives a warning of what’s going on in China and how it will affect Americans.  Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:00:00 Let me talk to you a little bit about preborn. For a baby, life or death sometimes hinges on a single moment. It is a decision made by an expecting mom. Preborn is there in that moment. They're the ones that provide free ultrasounds to women facing the toughest decision of their lives. No pressure, no condemnation, just compassion, the truth, and the beautiful sound of life. Now, when a mom hears that heartbeat, something inside her just changes and she realizes it's not an idea, it's not a theory. It's a child, her child, and it deserves a chance.
Starting point is 00:00:29 and preborn doesn't stop there. They stay with these women long after the decision is made with counseling, baby supplies, and real community support that says, you're not alone, because saving one life is only the beginning. Helping it grow. That's their mission. Helping mom.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Every donation preborn gives to another mother helps that chance for her to hear that heartbeat and to choose life because somebody cared enough to show what was true all along. There is life there. Now it's not the time for a son. silence, hear the heartbeat. Preborn.com slash Glenn. $28. It gives an ultrasound to a mom. Pound 250 keyword baby. Pound 250 keyword baby.

Starting point is 00:01:36 to reach more Americans who need to hear the truth. This isn't a podcast. This is a movement. And you're part of it, a big part of it. So if you believe in what we're doing, you want more people to wake up, help us push this podcast to the top. Rate, review, share. Together, we'll make a difference.
Starting point is 00:01:53 And thanks for standing with us. Now let's get to work. His favorite from the Atlantic David Brooks has just written an article. America needs a mass movement now. Well, they got one over the weekend. And movement does come to mind. But we'll talk about that. I mean, I got going to unleash on their hippies again today.
Starting point is 00:03:15 But I'm going to try to breathe deep, be calm, be more Christ-like, and just stick with the facts. I'm not sure I can make it, but I'm going to try. We'll do that in 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about American financing. Your hard work, you know, every day you come out, you come home after a hard day's work, you get paid, you pay your bills, and sometimes the number just never seems to moon. It's like you're running on a treadmill.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Nothing moves. And that treadmill's built by the banks, and you're exhausted, but you haven't gone anywhere. American financing is there to change that. They're family-owned company that works for you, not off you. They look at your mortgage, your credit cards, your loans, they help build a plan that will help you get, you know, get free faster from all of those chains, sometimes years faster. So what makes them different is the mission. They believe homeowners deserve more of their homes and less of the stress. And when you call them, you're talking to real people who listen, who want to help you, and they've helped people all over the country, find breathing room again.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Imagine what life would be like if your money actually worked for you. if every payment moved you closer to owning your future instead of just paying for your past. That's what American financing does. They turn someday into right now because you don't have to live in fear of debt forever. Not when freedom has a phone number. And here it is. 800906 2440. 800906 2440.
Starting point is 00:04:44 It's Americanfinancing.net. NMLS 1A2334. NMLS Consumer Access.org. APR for Rits in the 5 starts a 6.799% for well-qualified borrowers. 800906 2440 for details about credit costs and terms. So I want to just talk to you a little bit about what happened over the weekend. You know, they call themselves the resistance. They marched under banners and signs that said no kings.
Starting point is 00:05:09 And they chanted about tearing down the powerful and reclaiming democracy for the people. But I want you to stop after what you've seen this weekend. I want you to stop just for a minute. And I want you to think critically about one thing. If this movement is truly against billionaires and the powerful, why is it funded by billionaires and the powerful? It is no longer hard to dig deep into the so-called no king's movement. And the more you dig, the more you realize this isn't a rebellion.
Starting point is 00:05:45 This is strategy. This is not grassroots. This is astroturf. You know, when you come with signs that are printed by a labor union, you're pretty clear. The average person didn't do that. They're like, I need to get a labor union to make sure that these are labor union printed signs. It's not happening.
Starting point is 00:06:04 So this is AstroTurf. And it's not about dismantling power. This is so important. No kings would make you think, well, they don't want a king. So they wouldn't want somebody to say, you know, COVID, you don't take the jazz. you don't work. You don't take the jab. You're fired. You don't take the jab. You don't get to go to the hospital. You would think no kings would mean all of that was wrong. But it doesn't. This is not about dismantling power. This is about rearranging power. So let's start with the money. Because in politics, money tells the truth even when people don't. So according to several sources, including Fox News, multiple investigative reports, including Peter Weiser, George Soros and his Open Society Action Fund granted $3 million to indivisible. Now, this is one of the primary organizers of the No King's protest.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Okay. So, wait a minute. So a billionaire, George Soros, gives money to help fund this against billionaires. But it goes on. Soros's larger network, the Open Society Foundation, gave over 7.6 million to the same operation. So now we're over 10. We're almost at $11 million. But Soros is not alone. If you follow the funding trail, it leads to
Starting point is 00:07:29 what a surprise the Arabella network. This is a network that we exposed on my TV show many, many Wednesdays ago, probably about five years ago. It's a billion dollar a year dark money empire that launderes donations
Starting point is 00:07:45 from the Uber wealthy donors to grassroots activism. Now you add in the Bill Gates Foundation. You're really against billionaires, and yet you're for the Bill Gates Foundation? Or the Ford Foundation? Or here's my favorite, the Rockefeller Network?
Starting point is 00:08:06 Rockefeller? You also have the Tides Foundation and Singham. You have a small club of financial elites that are banked rolling, what investigative journalist Peter Switzer calls, Riot Inc. That needs to be known from everyone. There is now this organization funded by billionaires, riots, ink. And it is the permanent protest industrial complex.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Now, this is not just conjecture. This is not opinion. This is now documented fact. IRS filings. annual reports, public statements. They all show the same things. Billionaires are funding the outrage machine. But they were holding signs that said no billionaires.
Starting point is 00:08:58 What that? What? Okay, so obvious questions. Why? Why are they doing that? Well, they're just supporting democracy. Wait a minute. George Soros. What?
Starting point is 00:09:12 Democracy does not require a billion dollar scaffold of nonprofits and corporations and coordinated media campaigns. It doesn't need that, okay? It just needs the truth. It certainly doesn't require hiring data firms and communication specialist, you know, and scripts that will script out the entire protest that will make it appear as though it's spontaneous. What we're seeing here is not a movement.
Starting point is 00:09:42 What you're seeing is a manufactured event. Now, that's not just a. my opinion. That's now how U.S. intelligence agencies have run regime change operations overseas for decades. Go back many moons ago on our Wednesday night special again, and I will show you all of the ins and outs of what's
Starting point is 00:10:02 called a color revolution. Color revolutions are something that was done by our government, and this is part of the deep state. That's why people say this is a deep state operation as well. Because this what this came, these tactics were developed by the CIA, and they're called color revolutions.
Starting point is 00:10:21 And what they do is they flood the streets with, quote, organic protesters. They control the media, the media narrative. They destabilize the existing system. And then they overthrow that system and install a new one. Okay. So we've done this over it. The Arab Spring was not grassroots. The Arab Spring was done by our government along with others, including Facebook.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Okay? The same tactics are being deployed here. But here's the catch. When the CIA runs these operations in foreign countries, they rely on young delusioned activist. The people who actually what is called traditionally useful idiots. They don't know they're being used and they have a genuine gripe. Yet the crowds, I don't know if you saw them this weekend, at the no-king's rally, most of these now are white baby boomers.
Starting point is 00:11:21 They're retirees who balance checkbooks and that are now waving anti-capitalist placards. So wait, we've got billionaires and baby boomers. Okay. Does that sound like a spontaneous uprising? Especially when, and I'll show you later, the signs from the actual No King's Rally's all over, actually have the logos of the corporations, of the labor unions, and the Communist Party. There it is up on the screen if you happen to be watching.
Starting point is 00:11:58 The Communist Party is a sponsor and their logo is up at the rallies. That doesn't seem spontaneous. What it does seem like, and I was happy to see it, is the script is running thin. Okay, the only ones that believe this crap anymore are the aging hippies. The people who have tried to overthrow this government over and over and over again, they want their Marxist utopia. They've wanted it in 1968. They wanted it in 78 and 88, 98, 98, and 2028.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Okay, they want the same thing. No matter how many times it has failed in their lifetime, they somehow or another think it's going to work this time and they won't have to live under it. So this brings me back to the paradox, which what I started with. Why would the wealthiest people on earth fund a movement that says it's about destroying billionaires and their wealth and their power? A couple of logical answers here. One, they're suicidal. They're self-hating billionaires.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Have you ever met a self-hating billionaire? Because I have not met one. They're pretty confident. They like it. They like it a lot. Okay. And they generally are a little egotistical. They know more than you do. Okay. So what's left? Well, the billionaires know by creating this, it will make them richer and more powerful. How? Well, first of all, you have to control the narrative. By funding the activism, billionaires shape the issues that you and I talk about all the time.
Starting point is 00:13:43 and then they shape the solutions that you accept. You'll notice all of this global warming stuff that was all shaped by corporations, billionaires, and people who win in the end governments. They get more power and more money. And we saw it when the WEF started to do the Great Reset. You had banks and corporations colluding to make sure that if you didn't agree with them, you weren't going to get a loan from the bank. Who does that empower?
Starting point is 00:14:17 You or the corporations and the billionaires and the governments who are telling you the way they expect you to live. So you control the narrative and then come up with the problems and the solutions and everybody's like, yeah, that's a good one. Okay. And if you make people believe that capitalism is the problem, then you can sell a new system, you know, under a solution. Again, you don't believe this is happening?
Starting point is 00:14:48 Explain the Great Reset. Now, you also consolidate power. The regulations that crush the small businesses, they don't hurt the billionaires. They eliminate their competition. Let me give you an example. During COVID. Why is it? COVID was suddenly non-existent at Home Depot.
Starting point is 00:15:11 But if you went to Ace Hardware, you're going to die and you're killing Grandma. How is that possible? It's not possible. That's collusioned by the powerful, the governments, the industry, and the billionaires eliminating their competition. Activism becomes the battering ram that just is clearing the field and making you so you can't even think straight anymore. And it shifts the blame. So by funding anti-billionaire rhetoric, they direct anger away from them and towards the political enemies of the things they're trying to do. So it's not about hating billionaires at all.
Starting point is 00:15:55 It's about hating the right billionaires. It's not an attack on wealth. It's about a hostile takeover of your wealth. What did you learn in 2008? Who got rich? the billionaires and the banks. Who had their money destroyed? You did.
Starting point is 00:16:22 They're absolutely for bailouts, just not for you. So this is not about an attack on wealth. This is an attack on your wealth. And the saddest part is most people in the streets, they don't even realize their pawns in somebody else's chess match. They have no idea what they're doing. I mean, listen to them. They don't have any idea.
Starting point is 00:16:46 They actually think this is about Donald Trump. Okay, it might be for you, but it's not for the billionaires. It's about the plan. It's why it's happening all over the world. Donald Trump is not the king of the world. I don't know if you know that. Why is this exact same thing happening in Germany and in France and in London and in Singapore? Why?
Starting point is 00:17:07 Because it's not about Donald Trump. It's about taking over the system. And you're told you're fighting against tyranny. You're carrying the banners, but you're carrying the banners of the people who are tightening the chains around your neck. And you don't see it. You scream for no kings while the billionaires are crowning themselves in the boardrooms. You rail against corporate greed while you're marching on behalf of corporate funded NGOs. You think you're dismantling power, but you're fortifying power.
Starting point is 00:17:41 And all of this, by the way, is happening while the networks, these same networks are lobbying for the policies that erode free speech, weaken individual sovereignty, empower these supernational organizations that all of these guys sit on top of. Now, think about that. The same people telling you to dismantle the system are the ones writing the blueprint for a new system. Have you been consulted on that system? You know, at some point, we have to start asking the hard questions. And I have some hard questions, and I want you to answer in 60 seconds. First, it's really funny how we learn over time. Just try to negotiate with things.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Try to negotiate with pain. You know how that goes, right? You start bargaining. I'll skip the gym today. I'll do the yard tomorrow. I'll, you know, you start making little deals just to keep moving. But over time, those deals add up. And the life you're left with is smaller than the one you wanted.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Relief factor was created for people who are done making those deals. It's a daily plan designed to reduce the inflammation that causes pain. Using ingredients that work with your body's natural processes, not against them. You don't have to numb it. You don't have to ignore it. You can address it. So you can get back to living life on your own terms. Relief factor.
Starting point is 00:18:57 It has helped thousands of people do just that to get back to gardening and hiking and working or just waking up without the thought of, oh, geez, here we go again another day. Stop negotiating with your pain. Start living without it. It's relief factor. Give their three-week quick start a try for 1995. Visit relieffactor.com or call 800 for relief. That's 800, the number four relief.
Starting point is 00:19:18 10 seconds and back to critical questions. Okay, so let's start here. If billionaire-funded NGOs are truly about democracy, why is it that they are always aligned with one political party? If they care so deeply about equality, why are they headquartered in the tax shelters that they're in and managed through shell foundations? If the goal is to empower people, why is it that the people always end up with less power and these organizations walk away with more power?
Starting point is 00:20:08 Ask yourself this. When was the last time a grassroots movement funded by the world's richest men actually made the world fairer for the average person. What kind of Mother Teresa do you think these people are? And can you give me any example of their other really Mother Teresa-like work? What's happening here
Starting point is 00:20:34 is bigger than a protest. It is part of a longer game, one that uses outrage as a tool. Chaos is currency. And the illusion of rebellion as a way to re-forge the system. Okay? Because once you're convinced that free, once you convince free people that freedom itself is the problem, they'll beg for a chain.
Starting point is 00:20:56 They'll beg for it. For their own good. It's for our own good. We need this chain. And that's when the kings, the real kings, step out from behind the curtain. When there's an emergency for your own good, you have to remain inside. You're not an essential worker. You can only shop at Home Depot. That's the sign of a king. So the next time you see, see a march with a sign screaming, no kings. Remember, kings don't usually, they don't have to wear crowns, okay? Think of the king of England. He's rarely in that crown. Once, he's in that crown. Usually kings just sign checks. Sometimes they fund revolutions. Sometimes, and a lot of times lately, they are the ones writing the script for the resistance, for their own power and kingdoms.
Starting point is 00:21:48 All right. We've got a lot to talk about and a lot to go through today on this No King's movement. I mean, still, I found it pretty laughable myself. Yeah. You know, it's, I didn't affect me in any way. Wouldn't even have to know it, honestly, if I didn't pop online. That didn't seem like a giant. It seemed less like a protest and more like, you know, a bunch of people wanted to get outside and get together.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Like, I would make funny signs. Like, you know, I've been in, I've been putting the puzzle together in the recreation room at the nursing home for several weeks. I thought maybe I'd get out. It was a sunny day. It did kind of feel like that. Yeah. You know. There's obviously the, the dark part of this that you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:22:35 The funding and all these organizations that are real and really trying to do really terrible things. And the dark side of some of the people who, I mean, were dressed up like Charlie Kirk's killer. Yeah. You know, some really dark, dark things that were happening. But for the most part, it was, it really was useful idiots. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Because you don't get to numbers like they had, but with people who are actually involved in that movement, right? Like the darkest stuff, the, and the Antifa stuff, the, you know, the international organization stuff, that's not what's making those protests. There's just a bunch of people there as well that are out for a Saturday afternoon. Those are the people that are convinced that everything happening in the world is happening. happening and it's about them and Donald Trump. And I got news for you, gang. It's not. This is Glenn Beck. All right. Let me tell you about life lock. Thieves have gotten lazier.
Starting point is 00:23:32 They don't even bother to wear a mask and break into your house anymore. They just sit on their couch in their sweatpants and they steal your identity between bites of pizza rolls. Okay. And it's getting worse in in Russia and in China. They have whole businesses. They have huge buildings. that people come to the office and this is what they do. Identity theft doesn't look like the Hollywood heist anymore. You know, it's either a guy named Chang or a guy named Chad typing really fast in his mom's basement. And the only thing standing between, you know, Ivan and your good name is LifeLock.
Starting point is 00:24:10 LifeLock monitors your personal information, your credit, your accounts, your digital footprint. And sometimes it looks weird. and they'll let you know faster than anybody else on who's who's charging tacos to my card in Tulsa all of a sudden. Starting point is 00:24:48 newsletter. You can get it now at glenbeck.com. Welcome to the Glennbeck program. We're glad you're here. It was a mostly peaceful weekend. There were no cars that were burning that I know of. I mean, I discount Portland in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Portland is Chicago and parts of New York. But, you know, for the most part, there were a lot of people that were gathering and it was mostly peaceful and, you know, you have a right to protest. However, there are some there are some dark sides of this. here is a
Starting point is 00:25:37 here's a protester from over the weekend talking to podcast host Brandy Cruz about his sign listen to this cut four cut four please and then somebody
Starting point is 00:26:14 and a califa comes to shut them down and intercept I mean it's it's amazing this is different there are two sides of this protest one the old people that came out who are just fighting for something that they have fought for since
Starting point is 00:26:28 1968 and has failed over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again communism and then there were the useless the useful idiots that don't have any idea they're being played and then there are those like this guy or let's try this one here's a a protester over the weekend cut five with a shirt that says for charlie because I advocate for free speech and I'm Okay, do you have free speech? Wear a shirt that says free speech. Wear a shirt that says promoting everybody.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Free press. You get triggered because it has Charlie on there. Because he was a racist. Because he was a misogynist. And that means that you wore a few. Yeah, just calm it down. Wasn't one. Come it down.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Okay, stop. Listen to what's happening. They're saying he's a fascist because he wants, he is wearing a t-shirt that says for Charlie, who he said he advocated for free speech. and discussion. And then she just goes absolutely bananas on him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:37 So that should tell you something. Now, you watch enough of these and your blood pressure goes up. You watch enough of these and you start to get, I don't know, a little angry. Before the show started today, Nathan, who's on our staff, he said, hey, I said, who wants to pray today? And Nathan said, I've got the scriptures up.
Starting point is 00:27:59 So let me just read this scripture. And how appropriate is it? it's from Romans. Now listen to this. Love must be sincere. How much of what we do every day when we talk about politics is sincere and how much is it about winning? How much of that is sincere? I think she was sincere about her point of view, but was it based in love and logic or is it based on rage? Hate what is evil and cling to what is good.
Starting point is 00:28:36 One of the biggest things is if you can't see what Hamas did was evil or what the guy who killed Charlie did was evil, then I don't know how to relate to you at all because we're told to hate evil and cling to that which is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourself. Think of that. Did that woman love him above herself?
Starting point is 00:29:06 No, because she was screaming, shut up and get out of here. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, in patient, in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you. By the way, I'm not reading this for them. I'm reading this for us.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I mean, Stu and I had a long conversation before we went on the air today. I'm like, do we live all this? I mean, how many of our monologues? How many of the things we say every day? How many times in our life are we hitting this? Just a reminder, too, you wanted to do that big anti-hippie monologue coming up. Just wanted to make sure you got to that today. That's why I'm not doing it now.
Starting point is 00:29:52 It might be done in anger. Bless those who persecute you. Bless those who do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Joyce, mourn with those who mourn, live in harmony with one another. Wow. Listen to this one. Do not be proud. That is a, I mean, the key to all of this is humility. If we are proud, if we are convinced that we have all the answers, we're proud and we'll never be able to, we'll never be able to actually do the right things because our lack of
Starting point is 00:30:32 humility will stop us. Be willing to associate with people of low position. Got a lot to say about the progressive movement here on that one, but I'm not going to. Do not be conceded. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. This is ends justify the means. How many times do you watch something like that and your heart races and you just want to go nuts? And you will because you think that doing it on Facebook or X or whatever doesn't a difference. It does make a difference because your response makes somebody else's heart rate rise and then they want to respond to you. And then it just spirals out of control. Do not repay anyone evil for
Starting point is 00:31:22 evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. It is if it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. I love the disclaimers in this one. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge. My dear friends, leave the room for God's wrath, for it is written, it is mine to avenge, and I will repay, says the Lord. On the contrary, if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
Starting point is 00:32:06 In doing this, and this is the key to this whole thing, you will heat burning coals on his head. And for a long time, I always thought, wow, is the Lord a game player? Is he like, look what's going to happen, right? They're going to say their hair is going to be on fire. That's not what he means. That's not what he means. He means your goodness is going to expose their evil.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Your mercy will exist. That guy standing there, he does not get upset. He doesn't call anybody names. He just handles it. And you can see the difference between good and evil, mercy, and vengeance and hatred and cruelty. And when he says it'll heap burning coals on your head, that's your conscious, your consciousness, your conscience. That is you feeling bad about things because you just saw somebody behave the right way. And that is that fire that burns inside all of us when we're like,
Starting point is 00:33:13 geez, that was really wrong on me. I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have done that. And that's the guilty conscience. And that is the only way, you know, unlike who was it last week that said, you know, the guy running for attorney general in Virginia, the only way to make them change, you know, we got to kill them. The only way to make them change is to, you know, cause them pain.
Starting point is 00:33:39 him feel personal pain. Make them feel personal pain. No, this is the way the Lord would say to it. Be good to one another. When they're hating you, be good to them. Treat them with respect. Treat them with mercy. Treat them with kindness.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Because the Lord will then make them go. And it's not fast and it's not easy and it's not our way. But is that what we're here for? Our way? Because I honestly, up until the last few years, I mean, I've always tried since I changed my life and ask for forgiveness and stop drinking and turn my life around. I've really tried to do his will. But I think there is a level above that, at least for me, that I have not been hitting.
Starting point is 00:34:33 And I'm seeing it more and more every day. Everything is an illusion. all of this stuff, all of this argument, all of the stuff that we have, all the stuff that we're fighting for, all of it is an illusion. And all of the things that we watch online and do, it's a drug. And it takes us into places that are not real. It takes us into places where we either feel better about ourselves because we're just numbing ourselves and watching something and just kind of disappearing in the world.
Starting point is 00:35:09 or it's it's giving us this illusion to do the things that are not good, whether that is just becoming more and more egotistical or angry or whatever it is. And all of this stuff is really meaningless. The only stuff that really matters is can we find a way to help people be the people that they were born to be? can we help people because most people still they don't they don't know why they were born they don't and I don't either but it's our job to figure that out it's our job to get closer to that every day and most people don't think they have even a reason to live that's why people kill themselves there's no reason for me to live the world would be better without me and that's not true
Starting point is 00:35:59 and that's the only thing that is real and that's why that's why freedom is so important Because if you don't have the freedom to choose who you are, if you don't have the freedom to make mistakes, if you don't have freedom to choose the right or the wrong path, if you don't have the freedom to feel the punishment of that wrongdoing that you caused, you did the wrong thing, you pay the price. if you don't have the system of freedom that makes you pay that price, you never learn. And so you never find yourself. Nothing changes. It just gets worse and worse. And that's where we are now. And I don't want to live this way anymore.
Starting point is 00:36:51 I don't think you do either. I don't want to hate people. I don't want to be afraid of people. I don't, I don't mind. I don't care what you believe. I really don't. I really don't. can we just raise our families with some basic principles?
Starting point is 00:37:08 Don't you just want your kids to be happy and healthy and have a bright future? I know I do. And the way to do that is to give them every opportunity we can. And that's not in stuff. That's teaching them eternal truths. And we're not doing that anymore. And shame on our pulpits because they're not either. Only 2% of our churches.
Starting point is 00:37:32 2% are willing to talk about the things that are happening in the world today and tie it to scriptures. 2%. I'll get you the list of those 2% of churches, by the way. We know them. We've gone through them. And Berna has done a recent survey on, is the Bible true? Does it teach eternal truths that apply to today? the next question is, what are those truths that the world is wrestling with today that are
Starting point is 00:38:08 talked about in the Bible and will you talk about them? You ask those questions, only 2% of preachers will actually talk about it. And that then leaves a giant hole. And that's why I'm talking about it because nobody else will, except for you, you're talking about it, hopefully in your own life. You're looking for it. I'm looking for it. And until we find those preachers that are actually doing it,
Starting point is 00:38:37 and we all start going to their churches, we're not on our own. We just have to do it ourselves. It always comes from outside of the church. A revival and an awakening always comes from outside of the church, because the churches always miss it. Back in a minute. Every family has one meal that brings everybody to the table.
Starting point is 00:39:02 That one that makes the whole house smell like home. But these days, finding meat that you can trust is an easy. Half the time, you think it's American beef, but it was raised halfway around the world. That little sticker that says, you know, product of U.S., that's not true. That little flag means nothing. Good Ranchers is changing. Every cut they sell is 100% born, raised, and harvested here in the U.S. So you're supporting American ranchers, American jobs, American value.
Starting point is 00:39:29 and you can taste the difference. Steaks, chicken, seafood, all delivered right to your door, vacuum sealed, flash frozen, and ready to turn your dinner into a celebration. You know why it's expensive to make things in America? Because we stopped buying things in America because we didn't think it mattered. We have to save our ranches. By the end of this program, another farm and another American ranch will go out of business. We must turn that around or we won't have American food.
Starting point is 00:39:55 We won't be able to protect ourselves and feed ourselves. So from now and through Thanksgiving, Good Ranchers is asking families to share a meal together every Thursday, every week. One lucky family will win a free Thanksgiving ham. You just share a photo on your Instagram story, tag at Good Ranchers and use hashtag back to the table. You could win that Thanksgiving ham. Good Ranchers.com. Good Ranchers.com. Use the promo code Beck when you subscribe for an additional $40 off plus free meat for life.
Starting point is 00:40:24 It's American meat delivered. It's promo code Beck, $40 off plus free meat for life. good ranchers.com. Welcome to the table. You know, our community is like a cozy campfire with trusted friends. It's a hell of a lot better than the raging dumpster fire of mainstream media. Glad to have you. Glenn Beck will be right back. All right, picture this nightmare. One of these days you sit down at your local bank to refinance your mortgage. You know, people do this stuff all the time. But the lender says there's already
Starting point is 00:41:06 a lien on your home, one you've never heard of. Somewhere, someone use your name to hijack your title and you're left proving, I guess, that you didn't do that? It's going to be very difficult to disprove this, right? It's hard to prove a negative. Criminals can forge your name onto a deed. They can file it with your county. They can suddenly on paper own your home. And then when they take out loans against it, they can destroy your credit.
Starting point is 00:41:35 They can leave you fighting for months or even years to prove that you still own what's already yours. that's where home title lock comes in. This is a company that monitors your home's title 24-7 with the same kind of technology banks use to protect your accounts. If anyone tries to tamper or transfer your title, file fraudulent documents, any of that stuff, home title lock can alert you immediately before the damage is done. And because your home isn't just your biggest investment, it's also your safe place. And it's the place where you raise your children.
Starting point is 00:42:08 and it's a place you've made memories. It's your financial legacy. It's where everything was built. You don't need crowbars anymore to steal from that home. You just need the internet. Protect your home with home titlelock.com promo code is blaze. Hometitlelock.com promo code is blaze. It's interesting how you applied that scripture to a real world situation there and that interaction between the guy and the crazy woman with the bright orange hair. in that like you have I think a lot of times and I feel this way sometimes
Starting point is 00:42:52 if you don't get in people's face and fight back and get angry it feels like you're rolling over like we're going to lose if we do that if we don't get like you know if we don't use their tactics we're going to lose well I think you look at that interaction and you see who won that interaction
Starting point is 00:43:08 the calm guy who sat there sat there and with a smile on his face talked about what he believed he didn't get he wasn't a person screaming because he usually ends the same way. Get out of here. Shut up. Yeah. Yeah. And once you start screaming that, you're like, okay, I don't want to be a part of that. No American, either side. No American wants to be a part of that. I mean, it's what Martin Luther King knew.
Starting point is 00:43:33 But good against bad, good against evil, and people will always choose good. So just do what that scripture tells us to do. Live our lives that way. And you win. May not feel good in the moment. But that's not what it's about, is it? This is Glenn Beck. Let me tell you about Cherp. If you're anything like me, you've got at least one spot in your back that feels like it's been in a fist fight with a cement mixer. And it lost the fight. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:03 You can stretch it, you can twist it, you can lie on a tennis ball pretending that it's helping, but it's still there. This is where Chirp comes in. Chirps is not just some foam roller for your back. It's a spinal wheel. It's engineered to fit perfectly between your shoulder. blades and roll out decades of tension in minutes. You just sit down, lean back, and let it do its work. And every wheel is built to target a different level of pressure. So you can ease into it or you can really dig in. And the difference is you're going to, you're going to feel it after a few days.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I mean, it's like your back remembers what freedom feels like because when your spine is happy, everything else is happy. I found that to be true. So stop living like your back is a pretzel. Straighten up. Go to gochurp.com. Back, go chirp.com slash Beck. Use the promo code Beck at checkout. Get a 10% discount off sitewide. Starting point is 00:45:38 like the on our oner. America, last hour we were talking about no kings and I exposed
Starting point is 00:46:46 the money trail, I talked about you know, the useful idiots and the billionaires. Why are you
Starting point is 00:46:53 holding signs that say no billionaires when billionaires are funding this? And we talked about the
Starting point is 00:46:59 winning strategy for real freedom in a fight like this. I want to talk now about, I want to talk directly to anyone who is planning on, you know, protesting or attending a protest before you pick up the sign, you know, or before you go to a Thanksgiving war at the table. I want to,
Starting point is 00:47:15 I want to show you how to logically think things through that will help you find the truth and help you stand firm in that truth. We'll go there in 60 seconds. First, Z Factor was created by the making of Relief Factor to help you rest like you mean it. Because real rest isn't just about shutting your eyes, it's about recharging your body, your mind, your spirit,
Starting point is 00:47:37 so you can wake up ready to live. This is more of a reset button. This allows your body to straighten out the file cabinets
Starting point is 00:47:58 while you sleep and you sleep deeply. When you hit that sweet spot, everything quiets down and you remember who you are. You remember what it feels like to be your best self again. So if you're ready to stop dragging through the day and start living it, try Z Factor from the makers of Relief Factor because you can't live your best life if you're too tired to be in it. Rest like you mean it. First time Z Factor buyer is going to enjoy 46% savings, 1995 for a 30-day supply. Visit Relieffactor.com or call 1-800 for relief.
Starting point is 00:48:27 It's Z Factor from Relieffactor.com, 800, the number four, relief. All right, so let me just, I wish I would have thought of this on Friday, you know, before the No Kings, but we're not done with these kinds of stupid things. So before anybody, you know, raises a sign, before you chant a stupid slogan, before you pledge allegiance to a movement or a political party, I want you to stop. and I want you to ask yourself one simple question. Why am I here? We live in a time where outrage is easy and thinking is really hard. We live at a time when it feels good to belong and very dangerous to question. We live in a time where emotion is mistaken for morality.
Starting point is 00:49:25 and that is exactly how free people become unfree. Not because tyranny kicks down the door one night, but because we hand it the keys in the name of change when we're not thinking. So before you do anything, before you march, before you protest, before you make a sign, before you argue with somebody,
Starting point is 00:49:52 pause, and think to yourself, why am I drawn to this? When you're watching things on X, why am I drawn to this? Is it anger? Is it fear? Is it guilt? Or is it principle?
Starting point is 00:50:11 When I want to stand up for something, I don't want to do it in anger. I don't want to do it in fear. I don't want to do it in guilt. I want to do it in principle. And having a principle means you have a deeply held belief that this cause, cause reflects truth and justice. Now be careful. Be really careful because you may have been convinced that you're right because of what you're against. But what is right and what you're against are not the same thing. For instance, right now with conservatives, I guess it's becoming
Starting point is 00:50:48 more and more popular to be against Israel. Okay, that's fine. You don't have to agree with Israel. I don't ask you to agree with Israel. I don't want to fight their fights. I don't agree with their policies on everything. They're not the United States of America. They're their own country. So I disagree with them, just like I disagree with Britain sometimes. I don't really care.
Starting point is 00:51:08 But being against Israel does not mean the same as being for Hamas. You've joined something different. That means you have allowed your passions and your feelings to rule over you. That's why it's why everybody wants to make something, you know, that's why our, our Declaration of Independence and our country has lasted 250 years. It's the only revolutionary document that has ever lasted. And only one, only one in world history that ended with the same people who started the revolution.
Starting point is 00:51:45 The only one. Why? Because it didn't start with anger. It started with principles. We hold these things to be self-evident. We don't want to be against something. Being against Trump. You can be against Trump.
Starting point is 00:52:01 But that doesn't mean you're for antifa. Being for justice doesn't mean you're anti-ice, unless your passions have overcome your logic. So the first thing you have to do, why am I here? And if I strip away the crowd, if I strip away the pressure, the chance, the popularity, would I be standing here? if no one ever knew that I joined, if there were no such thing as likes, no cameras, no praise,
Starting point is 00:52:32 in fact, if everyone I knew and admired were against this, would I still believe it and do it? If the answer is to know to that, then you're not following conviction. You're following a crowd. You have to be convicted that even if I stand alone, I'm willing to. to do it. So what does this movement stand for? Am I willing to stand all by myself? Do you even know? How many interviews did you hear this weekend where people are like, I don't know. And they always say the same thing. I don't want to talk to you. Why? Because they can't answer the question. They don't have any idea what this is about. Other than a bumper sticker or the press release, do you know what
Starting point is 00:53:20 the real agenda is? What is the goal? Who is behind it? What methods are they willing? to use to get there. Do the ends justify the means? Now, this is really important because people are starting to believe, yeah, I can kill people. That's what, that's honestly, Virginia, you may not look at it this way, but this way I look at the Virginia election. Virginians, have you decided the ends justify the means? That it doesn't matter if somebody says, I can kill their children to change their political
Starting point is 00:53:54 point of view. The ends justify the means. If the ends justify the means, you have to ask yourself this question. What principles or freedoms have to be or are okay to sacrifice for that end? Because once you start sacrificing those things like saying it's okay to kill children for political purposes, you become Hamas in the end. History has a real warning for us. Every single authoritarian movement, left or right, doesn't matter. All of them promised liberation.
Starting point is 00:54:33 Every single one. They promised equity, justice, safety, and they delivered control, science, and fear. If the message of a movement, if the methods of the movement betray its message, if it has to censor or coerce. If liberties have to be violated, then it's not liberation. It's manipulation. If they have to manipulate people and cut corners, coerce or censor or betray liberties to get there,
Starting point is 00:55:13 they will not stop doing it. Next question you have to ask, does this movement make people more free or more dependent? Freedom is not just the absence of justice. chains. This was the big thing. This was the big thing that Booker T. Washington was all about. You'd be free but not know how to be free unless you're educated, unless you're willing
Starting point is 00:55:42 to stand on your own. Here's a slave that pulled himself out, defied all of the odds, became one of the greatest black Americans in American history. And he was talking about be more independent, not dependent. And that's what freedom is. It's not the absence of chains. It is the presence of responsibility. So if you think that freedom means I don't have responsibility, I don't have to do anything,
Starting point is 00:56:11 you will be under the chains of somebody else because that means somebody else has to do those things, has to feed you. And so they will require you to do things because they're feeding you. Ask, does this movement actually promote? policies that trust individuals to make decisions for themselves or do the people leading this believe they know better than everyone else? Will it hand people more power to bureaucrats and experts and elites? Does it always defend free speech, especially for those who disagree? Or does it silence them in the name of progress? Does it expand?
Starting point is 00:57:02 choice or does it force compliance? The only choice, the only choice you could say is the one that the right says, and I believe, is not a choice to kill another human being. I don't believe that's a choice if you're a doctor and you want to give somebody medication to end their life. I don't believe it's a choice for you. You can kill yourself if you want, but I'm not going to help you do it. And I don't think it's a choice to kill a baby. It's not. It's not a choice.
Starting point is 00:57:37 That's the only choice that they always point to, my body, my choice. Well, but if it's your body, how come you're forcing everyone to take a vaccine that not everybody wants? That has to be consistent. If it's not consistent, then you are living a lie. You are picking and choosing the choices. you want, you don't actually believe in choice. If it makes people less capable of living without the state, it's not freedom, its dependency
Starting point is 00:58:13 dressed up as compassion. If I want others to be free, what does that require of me? We love talking about freedom in this country. We love it, as if it's something that politicians can hand out. You know, vote for me and more freedom. What? It's not. Freedom is not sustained by our laws. Freedom is sustained by our character. This is what this means. It means you have to defend the right of people that you despise. Not just those you like and agree with. You must stand for the rights of people you despise.
Starting point is 00:59:04 You must stand for the rights of people to say, horrible things that you despise. Otherwise, you don't actually believe in freedom and freedom of speech. See, freedom requires you to do the hard work and the hard work that nobody is doing, understanding issues deeply, reading the original sources, not the headlines, not the clippings, not the tweets. Anybody who gets their news off of Twitter and Facebook, you are less educated and less informed than the people who read nothing at all.
Starting point is 00:59:47 You have to do the hard work. And you have to do the hard work of mastering yourself, your impulse, your ignorance, your anger. So you don't become the thing you're fighting against. Has anybody noticed that when you're watching these crowds, the biggest thing is hypocrisy. You're like, are you kidding me? You're saying these things? Do you not know that you are the thing you're fighting against?
Starting point is 01:00:14 And freedom requires courage to stand alone. It requires virtue. It requires humility. And it requires the truth. But how do I know what's true? Give me 60 seconds and we'll come back. First, pre-born. Every human story begins the same way with a sound, a rhythmic, steady,
Starting point is 01:00:37 beat of a heart. It's the sound of potential, of a future waiting to unfold, but sometimes that story ends before it ever begins, and that's where Preborn steps in. They're on the front lines, providing free ultrasounds to women in crisis, because seeing that first image and hearing that first heartbeat changes everything. Preborn doesn't just help save babies. They support moms, too, with counseling, care, and real resources that give them hope and a path forward, because choosing life is not always easy, but it is worth it. Every beat is a story waiting to be written. With pre-born, you can help make sure that story continues. Preborn will help you do that. They're expanding their life-affirming care in the darkest corners of our nation to help more women and save more babies.
Starting point is 01:01:21 So if you have the means, please consider, especially towards the end of the year here, a leadership gift of saving babies in a big way. Your tax deductible donation of $15,000 is going to place a machine and a needy women's center, saving countless of lives for years to come. Dial pound 250, say the keyword baby or go to preborn.com slash peck. It's sponsored by preborn. Preborn.com slash peck or pound 250 keyword baby. 10 seconds. So this is the hardest part of all, I think, and that is how do I find what is true?
Starting point is 01:02:04 How do I know what is true? Truth doesn't come prepackaged as a slogan. Truth is not usually found in a trending. hashtag. Truth requires years and years and years of work. Most importantly, it requires humility. If you're searching for truth, you must be willing to change your belief or your behavior when you find it. If not, you're not actually searching for truth. Okay. Ask yourself, am I willing to challenge my own belief? Am I willing to end up at a place where I like, I don't believe any of that stuff.
Starting point is 01:02:46 I thought I believed that, but I don't. And it's shocking to me, but I don't. If you're not willing to go there, then you're not seeking truth. You know, are you seeking voices you disagree with? Or just people that are echoing what you believe? Who benefits, if I believe this? Who benefits? Who profits?
Starting point is 01:03:13 Who gains power? truth has nothing to fear from questions all kinds of questions no no you don't ever have to fear truth doesn't care okay lies have a lot to fear so here's a test you should run before you commit to picking up or making any sign this is something you should commit to before you go to thanksgiving if your side achieved everything they wanted every law Every reform, every revolution, would ordinary people become more self-governing and more responsible and more free, or more managed, more dependent, and more controlled? If the answer is the latter, do not join them.
Starting point is 01:04:08 No matter how righteous they may sound, do not join them. No matter how noble their intentions do not join them. because tyranny wrapped in good intentions is still tyranny. We're standing on a knife's edge as a nation. I mean, have you seen the price of gold today? What is it, Stu? Over $4,300, yeah. $4,300.
Starting point is 01:04:35 $4,300. Is that mean anything to you? If it doesn't, you should check it out. It does. It does. It's going to mean something to you in the end. It means the rest of the world is saying, I'm not sure about this whole system that it's going to last.
Starting point is 01:04:50 That should change everything that you think. It should change the way you say, okay, well, you know, I used to like this program, but I'm not sure we can afford this program anymore. You know, I used to vote for this person, but that person will not stop the spending. I want my kids to be able to have freedom. I may not like everything about America,
Starting point is 01:05:11 but I think America is the best system out there. I don't want it. You know, I don't, you know, what is it, Singapore or something, nor one of the really, I think was Afghanistan. Saw some numbers this week. Afghanistan has arrested like 2,000 people for, you know, speech problems in the last year. 2,000 people have gone to, gone to jail for something they posted or something they said. 12,000 people have gone to jail in Great Britain this year for the same thing. 12,000 people have gone to jail for free speech.
Starting point is 01:05:53 One of them is a kid who said, I love bacon. We're on this knife's edge. And the difference between liberty and bondage is going to come down to whether ordinary people start asking better questions. Before you march, before you say anything, are you thinking, before you join? Have you learned? Have you spent the time? to ask these questions. Before you speak, do you understand what you're actually saying? Before you follow, make sure you're walking towards freedom, not away with it, and check the people
Starting point is 01:06:28 you're following. Is this a group of people that 25 years ago you would have been comfortable with? And I mean that saying, you know, I don't think any of us were fine walking with communists. I don't think we were fine walking with anarchists. None of us were. So why are you? They're not walking towards freedom. They're walking away from freedom. Why are you walking with them? History is really clear. Nations don't lose their liberty all at once.
Starting point is 01:06:57 They lose it one unasked question at a time. Back in a minute. This is Glenn Beck. You know, sometimes your cell phone company is working for the other team. I mean, you pay the bill, and sometimes that money ends up supporting causes that make you shake your head so far, you know, so fast. and you're like, what? And you almost drop the phone. It's like buying a burger and finding out it comes with a side of political activism.
Starting point is 01:07:34 Wait, I just, my fries are funding Antifa? What? Patriot Mobile is the opposite of that. They're America's only Christian conservative wireless provider, and they are proud of it. They use the same nationwide networks as the big guy. You get excellent coverage, clear calls, great data speeds, and you're not funding the ideas that go against your values. Every call you make, every text you send, every month you stay connected,
Starting point is 01:08:00 you're helping support organizations that defend freedom and faith and family because your phone bill should stay in line with your principles. Starting point is 01:09:04 Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. You know, I used to think that there was nothing sadder than an old hippie. but I'm wrong on that. There is something sadder. An old hippie who still thinks he's a rebel while cashing government checks and writing ESG mandates and yelling at baristas for putting dairy in his
Starting point is 01:09:22 almond milk latte. What are you doing? Listen, Boomer, if I may say, or better yet, the eternal flower children, you had your fun. I mean, you whipped it up your whole life. You dropped acid, you burned your bras, you shouted down with the man.
Starting point is 01:09:38 you know, well, listening to music that made other people cry because it was so incoherent. But hey, good for you. Good for you. You lived a wild free youth and you fought the system. And then you became the system, which is kind of confusing, but not for you, apparently. Now you're the man. You know, now you're the CEO, the senator, the president, the billionaire. You're the banks, the bureaucracy, the censorship boards. You're the gatekeepers now. And yet somehow, in the deepest, most delusional corner of your mind, you still think you're Jaguver. don't know how that works exactly. But for those of us who came after you, you know, the latchkey kids,
Starting point is 01:10:18 we're kind of stuck once again cleaning up the mess that you left behind. You know, we grew up microwaving our own hot pockets and letting ourselves into empty houses while mom and dad were finding themselves in that post-divorce single scene that you said was so liberating. And you know what happened? We didn't have all the fun. You know, we didn't really get a turn. In fact, Generation X, we were supposed to inherit the world somewhere around 2000. But, you know, you just didn't leave.
Starting point is 01:10:48 I mean, he just never left, you know. It's like the guy who graduated in 1972, but still shows up at the frat parties, wearing the bell bottoms and talking about how the revolution is coming, man. Yeah, I mean, dude, that was like supposed to come 50 years ago. What are you talking about? and this week this weekend you were marching in the streets again with your gray ponytails and your Birkenstocks
Starting point is 01:11:10 and some slogans from 1968 no kings you know power to the people oh god you not see the irony here you are the people in power and the reason why there were no kids on the streets with you it's not apathy is because they know the oppressor when they see one
Starting point is 01:11:30 they know they're like wait you guys are with billionaire Nancy Pelosi is on your side. Do you remember when you used to say, don't trust anybody over 30? That's what you used to say. Don't try. You're three times 30 now. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders. I never took your Common Core math, but I think 80 or 90 is over 30. And worse, your revolution has mutated. I mean, everything you stood for, the 20-something of yourself would hate the you you have become.
Starting point is 01:12:04 It really would. It really would. You took rebellion and turned it into bureaucracy. You went from free love to government-mandated drag queen story hour. Wait, what? What? You went from question authority to obey the science or else. Wow.
Starting point is 01:12:24 You sexualized our children while saying that you're protecting them. Tell me, how is it healthy for a first grader to watch a poll dancer? in the first grade who thinks he's a woman, but he's a man. Well, hell of that. How is it healthy for a first grader to watch a woman who's actually a woman pole dance in the first grade? Doesn't matter. Both of them are damaging to our kids, but you're there.
Starting point is 01:12:50 You're the generation that said monogamy was old-fashioned, that no fault divorce would liberate us, that the nuclear family was a cage. And then just to drive home the point while you're in your 80s, You literally incorporated your ideology. You were against the man. You were against corporations. And you are the people that put together Black Lives Inc.
Starting point is 01:13:15 Okay. Whose stated goal was to dismantle the family altogether. Bravo. Way to fight the man, really. While becoming a tax-exempt nonprofit with a merch store. Do you not see what you have become? And you know, it's amazing? No, you haven't.
Starting point is 01:13:39 Through it all, I don't think you've ever learned. How many times does communism and socialism have to fail? Do you know that in Jamestown, okay, 16, 19 project, Jamestown, you know, the important part of that story you all missed? Cannibalism. Do you know why? Because they were trying socialism. You know, the pilgrims came over and they wanted to do it for God. You know what they tried?
Starting point is 01:14:01 Socialism. It killed half the population. They're like, that doesn't work. They learned. They learned. This has been tried over and over and over again, whether it's just because we want to control people or because God wants us to live that way. It doesn't work. And you've never learned that left every time, every time there's a failure. No, it's just that it wasn't done right. You arrogant SOBs, who do you think you are? You are playing with millions of lives. And now you're telling us that we should reduce the surplus population. Have you ever watched a Christmas carol that makes you Scrooge? And your generation,
Starting point is 01:14:47 the one that will not release the levers of government, central banks, Fortune 500 companies, you're executing a plan hatched in billionaire boardrooms. Talk to your 20-something self about that one. A merger of state
Starting point is 01:15:02 and corporate power so complete it would make Mussolini blush. And yet, when you shuffle through the streets, waving your cardboard signs, you still think you're fighting the power. We're fighting the man, man. It would be hilarious. It really would. It was almost funny in a sad sort of way.
Starting point is 01:15:22 But it would be hilarious if the wreckage you left behind wasn't crushing your own grandchildren. What future does your grandchildren have? Because you wanted this great society. We spent it all. We spent their future and their kids' future. future. Because it'll work. It doesn't work. And what are you leaving your grandchildren? You're going to be dead and they're going to be poor and enslaved. Good heavens, man. I am so done with you hippies. I have been done with you since about 1972, but I can't, I can't take it anymore. Generation X,
Starting point is 01:16:00 we have held the door and you refuse to walk through it. It's time for you to get your golden watch and go away. You know, it used to be, you hit 65 and you go away. You're 95 and you won't go away. Go play golf. Go knit. Go do something. Stop trying to remold the world in some old-fashioned way from 1960
Starting point is 01:16:26 that nobody wants because it doesn't work. You know, I'm really tired of you lecturing us about oppression while silencing dissent, really. I mean, I'm tired of the hypocrisy of the narcissism, your refusal to admit that maybe, maybe, just maybe your ideas don't work and never have. It's time for somebody else to take the keys away from you and take the wheel. Not to grab power, but to take the wheel away from you, skip my generation because you had that power. You were just abusing us and abusing us.
Starting point is 01:17:04 So the latchkey kids, we're skipped over again. Give it to the next generation. I mean, we're supposed to wrap up our power in our careers at some point. You just don't want to do it until you hit the grave. So, I mean, perhaps it's good that we've been skipped by because we can stand guard now to protect the things that we know are true, the universal truths, the things that you have spent your whole life saying are untrue. And then you incorporated it? You merged it into a corporation and a global government. Oh, my gosh, the 20-something person hates you.
Starting point is 01:17:47 I mean, the one that you were. We're going to stand by and make sure that we empower our kids and your grandkids. We're going to remind your grandchildren that they're not victims, that there is something to do with truth. It exists. That God exists. That God doesn't make mistakes when he's making people. We're going to show your kids, our kids and your grandkids, the real freedom. Real freedom is not found in government handouts or corporate sponsors.
Starting point is 01:18:19 activism, but in simple radical ideas of free people exchanging freely with one another. We're going to teach them what you seem to have never learned that the Constitution was designed to adapt, not to enshrine your 1960s fantasies forever, but to empower each generation to build a freer world. Saw you on the streets this weekend. Move aside. please go enjoy yourself enjoy your wealth
Starting point is 01:18:56 move aside so we can fix what you broke build what you never seem to want to build to give the next generation a chance to chart their own course and don't start me with the no king still the hypocrisy
Starting point is 01:19:20 is beyond reason Back in a minute. All right, well, we have game seven tonight in the ALCS. I'm very excited about America's team, Toronto, the Toronto Blue Jays victory last night. No matter, though, if you're happy about that result or if you happen to be an American that is a fan of an American team for some bizarre reason, you will probably love prize picks because it adds to it. Download the prize picks app today and use the code Stu to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. The code is Stu. Get $50 in lineups when you play your first $5 lineup with prize picks. It's prize picks and it's good to be right. The rope may break, but the ride goes on. This is Glenn Beck. The Glenn Beck.
Starting point is 01:21:14 Some shocking things of that monologue. Really? Yeah. Number one, you consider yourself part of Generation X? Not really. Yes and no. I'm 64. 65 is X.
Starting point is 01:21:24 I've never related to the hippies. I've never related to them. Always despise the hippies. So I'm at the very, I'm at the last year of the boomers. So I'm technically a boomer, but I've never related to it. And I don't really relate to myself as Generation X either.
Starting point is 01:21:39 I'm in this. Again, the latchkey kids kind of being in the, middle of nowhere. You know. Is it though? Because I, first of all, I understand your everlasting personal jihad against hippies. Yeah. But I am, like you, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:22:01 Is it whiny to be like, oh, you know, come on, guys. Let us have our turn. No, I'm not even saying I want my turn. I'm not saying that. I'm saying, can you let go from the grave? You don't even understand. what you're voting on anymore. You keep bringing this old ancient ideology that never works.
Starting point is 01:22:22 You're trying to enslave the world into this public-private partnership where there is no freedom of speech. You're violating all of this stuff and you're not going to be around to enjoy it. Yeah. You know what I mean? But it is time. You're talking about like the Nancy Pelosi's of the world. Yes.
Starting point is 01:22:41 And when you're 19, you know. my grandfather died when he was 67, I think, and that was old, okay? I'm 62. This is the time when we should be mentoring people, okay? This is the time when you have wisdom. You've worked your whole life. You have wisdom. Right now, the younger generation doesn't pay attention to the older generation because
Starting point is 01:23:02 the older generation, the hippies are all insane and trying to slave everybody or lying to them. We have to empower. What is the, what is the hippie? And I don't mean all boomers, because I mean, there are a lot of boomers that listen. They're not like this. Not everybody has created the same. It's the hippies that I'm talking about. The people who have been for Marxism their whole time. And they have done it through deceit their whole life. They have done it in the cover of night, their whole life. And they are trying to, to control people and what are they doing? They're telling their grandchildren, my grandchildren, my children that you can't make it. You can't make it. You'll never make it. This whole system.
Starting point is 01:23:50 That's a lie. Go away. Go knit. Go make a quilt. Go play golf. Go do some. Stop telling our children these lies. There's no way Nancy Pelosi knows how to make a quilt. She doesn't have those sorts of skills. Unless they're with $1,000 bills. Very expensive ice cream. Remember when she had the multiple ice cream? Oh, my gosh. Yeah. She had multiple freezers in her kitchen and they were all filled with Jenny's ice cream,
Starting point is 01:24:20 which is like $13 a pint. Yeah, she's with the people. She's with the people. Yeah. Well, this is... But let me get me a beer. Oh, gosh, the Elizabeth Warren classic. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:31 You know, and it's nice to be Nancy Pelosi, though. I mean, she would argue, how am I still in power? just keep winning elections. That's how I'm in power. And then I'm in power so I can learn things about various private companies and become the single greatest investor in American history. She just seems to nail it every time, Glenn. Every single time a company goes through the roof, she's right there. It's so impressive.
Starting point is 01:24:58 Look, I'm not saying, I'm not saying our side is right on everything. I'm not saying that, you know, but what I am saying, can we just use some logic? You know, can we just? No. I can be sure. I can tell you right now, no. Did you see the protests weekend? No, we cannot. Apparently, we cannot have nice things. Can we admit that Stu and I talk about this all the time and talk about it on the air? We're watching what Donald Trump is doing very, very closely. He starts to violate the Constitution. We're not for that. He starts to become an authoritarian. We're not for that. And we will speak out. Do you hear that from anybody on the other side? The hypocrisy is just, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he taken the judicial system and weaponizing it. Excuse me?
Starting point is 01:25:44 You don't have no, you don't have any place to talk until you can at least say, what our side was doing was insane and that can't happen. Then we can't have a conversation. I can't have a conversation with you. I mean, you won't even recognize.
Starting point is 01:26:00 I'll recognize my side. Will you recognize yours? This is Glenn Beck. Let me talk to you a little bit about Jace Medical. Imagine being able to handle a medical emergency without, you know, any kind of panic because you were prepared, completely ready for it. Family member gets sick while traveling storm knocks out power for a week or you just, you know, you can't get into a doctor right away. That's when Jace case changes absolutely everything. Jace Medical gives you the power to be ready.
Starting point is 01:26:25 They provide doctor-prescribed emergency antibiotics and essential medications that arrive right straight to your door with real medical guidance on how to use them and when to use them. You're not guessing. you're not alone. You're equipped. You can even call your doctor and say, hey, I have this medication. These are the symptoms. I can't get in to see you for a couple of days. Yada yada. I mean, the world doesn't always give you warning signs. Supply lines fail. Clinics can close. You know, you just be on vacation for a while. Preparedness is not paranoia. It's wisdom. Go to jace.com. Enter the promo code back and get the medications that you need on hand. It's promo code back at jase.com. Use the promo code.com. Use the promo code.com. promo code becket checkout on your order and you'll save money it's promo code beck at jace.com you know there was a time where words mattered I'm not sure they matter anymore I always feel like you keep using that word I do not think it means what you think it means words matter now the word fascism I don't think has ever really fully been defined in the
Starting point is 01:28:35 correct in the correct way you know Mussolini and Hitler both said FDR I love him he's one of us He's a fascist because of what he was doing to the court system and how he was getting things done. But you'll never hear that in a history. You'll never, ever hear that FDR might have been leaning towards fascism. But it's true. It's true. So what is fascism? What is an actual fascist?
Starting point is 01:28:58 Can we define a few words that we keep throwing around? We'll do that in 60 seconds first. Let me tell you about Simply Safe. What would be nice if we lived in a world where you didn't have to lock your doors? Yeah. Those days are gone. Your home security is not guaranteed, but simply safe exists so you don't have to leave that to chance. They built a system that watches everything you value without ever making you feel watched.
Starting point is 01:29:21 Cameras that see in the dark, sensors that listen for glass or motion and spot trouble even before you can hear it, and a team that's ready to act at a moment that something is wrong. What makes simply say special is how seamless it is. You install it yourself without a stranger in your home. It's beautifully designed. It's simple. It's reliable and it's quietly strong. If you leave town, it stays alert.
Starting point is 01:29:42 If you're home, it disappears into the background until the second you need it. It's peace of mind. It's not a luxury. It's part of really what makes a home feel like home. Safety. And when you have SimplySafe, peace of mind isn't just a feeling. It's a fact. SimplySafe.
Starting point is 01:29:57 Go to Simplysafe.com slash Beck. Claim 50% off a new system today. That's simplysafe.com slash Beck. There is no safe. Like SimplySafe. So in the museum next door, our American Journey Museum, we have all of these documents where the government was doing, trying to define what fascism is. I'll have to go through them today and maybe I can bring some stuff in tomorrow. But it was just trying to define what is fascism, because it was a new thing.
Starting point is 01:30:27 It was defined, I think, in 1925 in Italy with Mussolini. And fascist was never really just kind of a lazy insult, you know, hurled across. the political debate. It was a warning label for the most dangerous of ideologies, communism and fascism. And those things have devoured liberty and they leave nations in chains. And today, you know, you're seeing it, fascist, he's a Hitler, he's whatever. It's tossed around so casually that it doesn't mean anything anymore. And fascism, we really need to know what it is because it is.
Starting point is 01:31:06 because it is playing a role in today's world. I mean, anybody who believes in enforcing the laws and securing our border or defending the Constitution, today is a fascist. But words mean something. So if you want to defend freedom, let's first reclaim the meaning of words that describe freedom's enemies. So here's what fascism actually is. It's not a, you know, it's not synonymous for a conservative. It's not a synonym for authoritarian. It is a very specific political ideology that came up early 20th century,
Starting point is 01:31:48 most famous with Mussolini's Italy and Hitler's Germany. And at its core, fascism is the merger of state and corporate power under a single centralized authority, usually led by a dictator. So when you start to see, corporate power and government power merge into a single centralized authority, that's fascism. And we've been watching it happen for the last 30 years, okay, when individual rights are subordinated to the collective good that is now defined by the state, when dissent is crushed because it's good for the state, when the press is controlled.
Starting point is 01:32:34 Because it's good for the state. When the economy is directed, because it's good for the people, i.e., good for the state. When the economy starts to be owned by the government, those things are fascistic. And the difference between this and communism, communism, you don't have any rights, you don't have any property. It's all the state. Private property under fascism exists, but only if it lives to serve. the goals of the regime. Okay. So you have all the property you want, but you start acting in a way that the regime
Starting point is 01:33:11 doesn't like, that the government says you lose your property. You can't, you don't get to keep the stuff you have. Mussolini defended fascism and he defined it himself saying it's the merger of state and corporate power. Okay. No. Does that sound familiar at all in today's world? Does that sound familiar?
Starting point is 01:33:32 It should. Both sides have been doing it. it. One of them is sprinting towards it. The other one is just keep shuffling longer and longer down that road. It should sound familiar because, and hear me carefully, the World Economic Forum, when banks and tech companies and federal agencies work together to decide what speech is okay, what speech should be allowed online or who can get a loan, which businesses are essential and which ones are not essential. That is no longer the free market.
Starting point is 01:34:10 That is not capitalism. That is not a constitutional government. That is textbook fascism. So when the left is saying, no, kings, he's a fascist, could we just go back to COVID? What were you willing to do? can we just go back to if you don't put a black square on your Instagram or your Twitter feed when when the government works with the tech companies to say this guy who's running for president of the United States he's a candidate cannot post anything on social media
Starting point is 01:34:52 that is textbook fascism now naziism is national socialism. How can it possibly be on the right if it's socialism? In Europe, maybe, but we're different here. The right is not for socialism. And national socialism shares a lot of traits with fascism, but they added the extra little poisonous element of racial supremacy. Now, what is the racial supremacy? Well, the key element here of racial supremacy is we want to kill all the Jews. So if you want to say it's a Nazi, you've got to be for not making peace with Israel, not making peace in the industry or in the Middle East, you got to be on the side of Hamas saying,
Starting point is 01:35:49 we got to kill all the Jews. All right? That's the biggest telltale of a Nazi. Nazi. They have other things like they build an Audubon. But the really important part of being a Nazi is we want to kill all the Jews. Which side is standing with Hamas? Sorry about the hypocrisy this week. Couldn't take it. Then the regime weaponized propaganda. Did you know in 2008, Barack Obama removed the law of propaganda in America. In 1945, we all went, okay, the war is over. We don't want propaganda on the American people. We had that law. Barack Obama repealed that law. So now it still is there. It
Starting point is 01:36:41 has to be reinstated. Now the government can use propaganda on its own people. That is another sign of fascism. Who did that? Donald Trump or Barack Obama? They demonize entire groups of people as enemies of the state. Now, we're both doing that now, unfortunately. They justified control as a means of creating a pure society. Well, what is the difference between that and we got to round these people up and put them into camps because they're never going to let us progress. They're slowing down progress. By the way, there is a symbol, the Indian symbol, the swastika.
Starting point is 01:37:31 is square, okay, and it sits flat on the ground. If you look at a swastika, it's facing the other way. If it's Indian, it's square. The bottom crossbar is flat to the ground, and it's facing the other direction. The Nazis spun it in another direction, and then Hitler himself said, pitch it. So it's at an angle, that bottom bar of the swastika comes up. Do you know why? because it said it looks like it's moving.
Starting point is 01:38:04 It shows we're all about progress. So no one should stand against progress. All of this stuff, if you want to talk about fascism, the hallmarks are really unmistakable. So let's just define it so we can all move on with our life. Suppression of free speech. Politicized justice. the elimination of political parties or opponents.
Starting point is 01:38:35 Which side was trying to put the political party or opponent in jail? The indoctrination of youth. Which one is indoctrinating our children in school and taking the rights away from parents? And having the parents actually be something that the school is against and wanting the children to tell them what the parents are doing. That is Nazism. That's fascism. And then this constant scapegoating for power. Dictators, tyrants, whether Nazis, communist,
Starting point is 01:39:13 they all have the same playbook throughout history. You got a silence dissent. You have to have censorship. You have to intimidate. You use street thugs that you declare are not part of your movement. but I can't really stop them because they don't really exist. I mean, the brown shirts. Antifa.
Starting point is 01:39:35 It's the same story. They're not really real. They're not really organized. They're not part of our movement. But they use them to make progress. Controlling information, state-run media, coordinated pop propaganda, using compliant corporations, undermine the institution, the courts, The legislature. Constitution is bypassed. Courts are reshaped.
Starting point is 01:40:04 Who is the one saying we have to have, we have to get rid of this Supreme Court? And who was it? They were saying, nope, nine Supreme Court justices is good. And it's all done to shape power. Then you blame others. Doesn't matter. But the best, the one that always has worked the best is race. We're going to blame it on the Jew. or we're going to blame it on the black or we're going to blame it on the white man. Then it goes deeper.
Starting point is 01:40:37 Religious and ideological. And they're blamed for all of society's ills. Then you merge the power centers. You bring the business, the tech, the military, and it all starts to work as one for centralized control. Read the book, The Great Reset. Okay? these are not left or right tactics. These are authoritarian tactics.
Starting point is 01:41:04 And I said last hour, Stu and I are watching for these tactics. We know they can come from the right at any time. We know that Donald Trump is walking a very dangerous line. I don't know how else he should walk it. But the minute he crosses a line, God forbid, I'm going to be on the air saying, that's not good. That's got to stop. That's unconstitutional.
Starting point is 01:41:28 Do you hear that from the other side when Biden was doing these things? No. All they're doing is calling somebody a Nazi. They don't actually care about freedom or democracy. They're calling somebody a Nazi without self-examination. You must examine yourself. We are all susceptible to this. Now, listen to this.
Starting point is 01:41:51 I'm going to take a quick break. And then I want to come back with the audio of the Speaker of the House this weekend. the speaker of the house came out and he said you know look here's what's happening on the left and you might have heard it before somewhere but listen to it when we come back and we'll continue our definition words should be redefined or made sure that we understand the definition
Starting point is 01:42:17 in just a second first burn up you know the tools that earn a permanent place in your life are the fire extinguisher under the sink the spare tire in the trunk first aid kit sits, you know, in your closet or your bathroom, wherever, you know, you buy them and they're there when the unexpected shows up. The Burn a Compact Launcher belongs in that same category. It is non-lethal, well-engineered option that preserves life while creating space to think, to move, to protect, and it fires pepper-based projectiles that hit hard enough to stop an aggressor long
Starting point is 01:42:52 enough for you to get away. The compact launcher is really light. It is simple. It is built for concealment. They're legal in all 50 states. No permit is required. If you're the kind of person who plans ahead, flashlights with batteries, et cetera, et cetera, well, the family that knows plans ahead on other things, too, including your own safety. And the Burn a Compact is for you. Make it part of your household because you are prepared and it's not paranoia. It's courtesy to the people that you love. The Burna, Compact Launcher. It's between the layer of what If and we're okay, go to burnah.com slash Glenn and learn more. That's burnah.com slash glen. Go there now or try before you buy at Sportsman's Warehouse. You'll find a location near you at
Starting point is 01:43:38 burna.com slash Glenn. 10 seconds, station ID. So I want you to, I want you to listen to something. See if you've heard this before. Here is our speaker of the house on Friday. Listen. They're going to descend on our capital for their much anticipated so-called no king's rally. We refer to it by its more accurate description, the hate America rally, okay? And I'm not sure how anybody can refute that. If you think about what's going to happen here tomorrow, you're going to bring together the Marxists, the socialists, the Antifa advocates, the anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far-left Democrat Party. That is the modern Democratic Party. That's where they've gone.
Starting point is 01:44:30 And they hate America. Did you hear this? Have you heard that before? Listen to this. I put this up and said, radicals, Islamists, communists, and socialist will work together against Israel, against capitalism, and work together to overturn stability. They're a radical. This is, this is, it's finally being, finally the government has caught up. But notice what he said.
Starting point is 01:44:54 I was saying they're going to work together. He is saying they have become the Democratic Party. And I believe that is true. what the people had a problem with back then was anarchists. I mean, they don't, you know, they don't want a state government. They don't want hierarchies or centralized authority. How could they possibly? Communists, they're going to work with the anarchists.
Starting point is 01:45:15 They want absolute state control over every aspect of life. Islamist, you throw them in? They want theocratic rule. They want Sharia law. Yeah, yeah. I know it's, I know it was for the simple-minded back then, couldn't understand it, but I think you do. Why do they work together?
Starting point is 01:45:35 Because they all share one immediate goal, and that is destroy the existing order. I did a monologue on hour number one of today's podcast. I urge you to go back and listen to it. Why is this being funded by billionaires? For the same reason, destroy the existing order. All of them think they will win in the end, okay? They know they can't achieve their utopia without first tearing down the system that they hate, capitalism, constitution, Western civilization, whatever it is. And once the system is down, that's when real chaos begins.
Starting point is 01:46:12 That's when they turn on each other. But in the meantime, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So how do you measure is, are we moving towards tyranny or not? Yeah, first thing, forget the labels. Okay. Are constitutional norms being eroded or bypassed? Do you even know what those constitutional norms are? Are voices being silenced?
Starting point is 01:46:35 Is my side saying, yes, we should silence voices? Is it being done by the state and or by private actors working hand and glove with the state? If so, you have a sign of fascism. Our business is punished for political beliefs. Can is a bank saying you can't do business with us because of your political belief. If so, you're on the road to fascism. Our loans being denied by ideology. Our laws enforced against political enemies but ignored for political allies.
Starting point is 01:47:07 That's a big one for both sides. Are public-private partnerships being weaponized to shape behavior or restrict liberty? If the answer is yes, even if people are saying we're doing it for your own safety or for equity or for democracy, liberty is in danger. when they're enforcing the law like arresting drug traffickers or gang members or those who people who are entering the country illegally, that's not fascism. It's what sovereign nations do to remain free. What is fascism is when the government decides which laws to enforce based on politics or race, when it punishes thought, when it merges with corporate power to control the people. that's also what authoritarian's do. When you say no king, what does that even mean?
Starting point is 01:48:06 No king. I bet they can't even tell you what that means. Well, I mean, somebody's going against constitution. King doesn't care about a constitution. The king is appointed by God. And so he has complete control of the land of the dukes and the earls. He hands out favors. He makes all of the decisions.
Starting point is 01:48:29 That's what a king is. I'm sorry. Donald Trump does not fit authoritarian. He does not fit fascist. He does not fit Islamist or communist. And he doesn't fit king. So what is your side doing again? This is Glenn Beck.
Starting point is 01:48:54 Remember that day when your dad taught you the really important things like how to clean out your gutters? He handed you a ladder, a ronterer. rusty scoop and said, this is how you become a man. And you believed him until you spent three hours up there scooping out swamp mud and angry frogs while he watched football. Some family traditions are worth keeping that one not so much. Leaf filter is the smart way to end the cycle. Their micromesh system keeps the leaves and the needles and the gunk out of your gutters.
Starting point is 01:49:22 And it does it permanently. It installs on top of your existing gutters. And once it's in, you never have to climb a ladder again, ever. So instead of passing down the gutter cleaning lesson to your kids, you can pass down something better, common sense, because nothing builds character like admitting you'd rather be inside watching the game than wrestling with a moss monster. So don't spend the season worrying about your gutters. Schedule your free inspection today. Get up to 30% off your entire purchase at leaf filter.com slash glenbeck. No Kings but Christ, it's available at glenbeck.com. So there's one thing that we're watching this week that you should be aware of. There is something very big happening in China, and it may be in our favor. We're not sure yet, but the big communist party, you remember when the Communist Party,
Starting point is 01:50:45 You remember when the Communist Party meets in that big huge room, the whole Politburo comes in and they're all like, oh, we just love our dictator. And everybody's applauding. And last time this happened, Z came in and appointed himself dictator for life or premier for life. And the former president was sitting right next to him. And all of a sudden the guards came and took him away. And it's like, Z and nobody said anything. Nobody even looked at the guy. Okay.
Starting point is 01:51:13 that meeting is coming up again on Thursday. Over the weekend, three or four, I think, of the leading military guys who are all the biggest Z supporters in the military were taken out. They lost their jobs to put it to the nicest of ways. I don't know if they've been seen since, but they're no longer in their positions. and it makes no sense that Z would do this because he needs his big supporters in the military. Also, something that just happened, apparently one of the chief negotiators, the one who's really been the hardliner with Trump and the tariffs and everything else, he also has just been removed. Now, we don't know who's replacing these people, and I don't have any idea who might be in the wings. he might be worse than Z, but they're saying that Z is, there's a possibility that Z is out on Thursday
Starting point is 01:52:18 and they soften things, which might be okay for us, or they're saying, and they don't think this is true because of who's being removed. Somebody else is removing them, not Z. It makes no sense that he would be removing these people because they are his biggest supporters. that if Z can, he'll assert control over China unlike anybody's done since Mao. And that is that's supposed to happen on Thursday. So we'll keep our eye out on that.
Starting point is 01:52:49 And of course, the government shutdown still continues to throw people out on the streets. It does? Well, I haven't seen any coverage on that. You know, I haven't seen any either. That's weird. It's weird because how many times, how many of these have we been through Glenn over the years? an uncountable amount. Oh, and before they even start, they are at the food banks going, there's not enough food in the food bank.
Starting point is 01:53:10 Yeah. You know, these people are going to be starving within, you know, two days. If you happen to have a fetish for single moms, great way to find them. Watch the shutdown coverage. They'll always find new single moms in your area that are about to have their economies crushed because of this oncoming government shutdown every single time except this time. This one. Well, I know I saw. I haven't met anyone yet.
Starting point is 01:53:36 I have. I listened to the New York Times last week. Okay. And they were talking about how much they loved military. Oh, that's believable. And how concerned they are for all of these military moms who are now struggling to make ends meet. Even though the president paid the military and the Republicans continue to keep presenting a bill that says pay the military. Right.
Starting point is 01:54:00 We argue about everything else. You've got to keep national. defense going pay the military and they won't do it. Democrats keep rejecting that bill. Yes, over and over and over again. And that kind of leads me to my thesis here, Glenn. Tell me if you think there's anything to it, which is the reason we haven't met any of the sob stories that we always meet during government shutdowns is because this one, the quote-unquote
Starting point is 01:54:20 Democrats are responsible for it. Normally, they blame the Republicans for it. This time it's almost impossible to come up with a coherent argument to make that happen. So may I express this a different way? Sure. the mainstream media is just a propaganda organ for the Democratic Party. Oh, yes. Maybe that's it. It could be.
Starting point is 01:54:39 Maybe that is it. Because I'm fascinated by that. Because I've always found that to be kind of silly, right? Like, you can always find individual people who are going through a tough time based on any policy. You close it for three days. It's not been, isn't this the longest shutdown in history, I think? Not yet. No, but it is.
Starting point is 01:55:00 I mean, let's see. Since when? Since when? I've not seen one go this long. There's one in Trump's administration, the first administration was 35 days, I believe, which was the record. The longest record was 35 days. Calci has a market on this to see, which is interesting. 55% chance it goes over 35 days.
Starting point is 01:55:20 Oh, I think he could go through Christmas. Well, it's hard to rethink Christmas. I think they're, I mean, the Democrats are, as long as the Democrats will not negotiate, I mean, the Republicans keep saying, okay, look, we'll fund it and let's just go, but we're not adding new stuff and we're not cutting laws that were just passed. You know what I mean? So we'll just fund this and let's continue to work it out. They won't even do that. It's like Friday, I think, was the 12th vote that they had held.
Starting point is 01:55:54 And Democrats were like, nope, doesn't matter. And they're promising votes on their stupid health care requests. Like they're trying to give things. Yeah. We'll give you the vote on healthcare. What will stop this though, right? The only thing that stops these things are perceived political consequences. And so right now what you have is a situation where in theory, like in theory, they could,
Starting point is 01:56:17 maybe the American people decide it's the Republicans fault. It's Trump's fault. But Trump is not typically like a guy who folds to that type of pressure. At times he will give to his own side. Like, you know, he said stuff like, oh, well, you take the guns first and then we'll have the trials. Right. And like the people, the Second Amendment people were like, oh, no, that's not the right order there. And to his credit, he listened to his constituents and sort of changed on that.
Starting point is 01:56:44 We've seen situations like that. Very rarely, though, do you see, hey, the media is complaining a lot about Donald Trump. He's going to change what he's saying. If anything, it makes him double and triple down on it. Well, I think that they wanted to have the no kings. Remember, they kept saying all week, we were going to get to the no king. Kings or getting into no Kings. Nobody was talking about the government shut down on the no Kings thing. That wasn't the point of the no Kings thing. Right. It wasn't being covered at all.
Starting point is 01:57:08 The Democrats got no gain out of that. No. And that's the other side of this, which is typically the way this might work is Democrats start this over a policy concern like Republicans have done this. It started a shutdown over a policy concern. And at some point, when it doesn't seem like the policy concerned are going to be resolved. They start feeling pressure that they were the ones that are holding the government closed. They start feeling the public pressure and they fold. That's usually what Republicans wind up doing in these situations.
Starting point is 01:57:39 The issue here, though, is number one, they're not getting any pressure from the media. That's not being built at all. So there's no pressure against the Democrats to actually fold on this issue. The only pressure that exists for the Democrats is to hold the line. Because what they're getting is pressure from their left flank saying, hey, you You guys better not give in to Donald Trump. So the length of this shutdown seemingly could be a very long, long period because really the only crack you're seeing right now are, I will say, some on the right who are saying, actually, we should give a bunch of subsidies for Obamacare. There are some on the right doing that.
Starting point is 01:58:20 And that, I think, the only crack we've seen on either side so far. I would really like to see in this time somebody in the Republican side making the case about Obamacare and freeing up the medical system. Yeah. We're not seeing much of that at all. Why do they not have another plan? This is the time. This is the time. No, I shouldn't say.
Starting point is 01:58:45 Every day since 2009 has been the time to have this plan. And they just, they'll never do it. They've had bits and pieces of stuff. But that's not even what their desire is. And I talk to Dr. Oz. I mean, I know, I know. It's a very strange sentence, but go ahead. I know.
Starting point is 01:59:03 I know at HHS, they are working on plans to dismantle a lot of this stuff and put the free market back in charge. But they're doing it at the state level. I got to have him back on because, I mean, nobody paid attention to this. I had an interview with him and just everybody paid attention to some other thing he was talking. Oh, the jab and why. we would, you know, why would we would partner with, uh, what was it, Moderna or whoever here recently, you know, for the drugs, uh, or Pfizer for the, you know, drug discount.
Starting point is 01:59:34 Everybody paid attention to that. In that same interview, he was talking about going to the states and tying their money, uh, their government funding for Medicaid and Medicare, uh, tying that directly to, um, ending this hostage situation. with, you know, no insurance over state lines. Once they allow the whole country and insurance companies to offer plans over the whole country, the dynamics change entirely. The financial incentives, the payouts, everything changes.
Starting point is 02:00:16 And that's supposed to be happening in the next 30, 40 days, and we'd see it over the next year. I would love to see them start to come up with new plans. Why is that fade? You have this face. No, I'm looking at me. I'm listening to, but also looking at just something I'm noticing on, on these markets for how long the shutdown will last. Yeah. So it has been, like I'm looking at over 40 days, for example.
Starting point is 02:00:41 It has been a slow and steady rise. Like at the beginning, it was 10% chance to go over 40 days. Slow and steady rise all the way up to a 55%, 67% chance. as of five hours ago. The last five hours, it's dropped from 57 to 38. Now, famously, there's a lot of people on these markets, a lot of people who know a lot about these things in these markets. We saw a, we've seen many things happen.
Starting point is 02:01:16 Like who's going to play at the, you know, who's going to play, who is going to win the Nobel Prize was one of them, person who was like barely even listed at like 1% suddenly in the last few hours to kind of shot up. Somebody who knows something was in there buying, buying, buying, buying, buying, buying. All of a sudden, multiple of these markets, more than 35 days is also dropped from 70% as of five hours ago. I am not seeing anything in the news at all.
Starting point is 02:01:48 So that's inside information. It could be. It could be. It could just be somebody guessing, but I mean, that's a big bet to guess. There's, you know, these markets have, you know, decent liquidity. It's kind of interesting, Glenn. I don't know. That's, uh, it could be absolutely nothing.
Starting point is 02:02:05 But like this market has had over $13 million bet on it, you know, how long these things go. So to move them, that's a lot of money. Sometimes can be a lot of money. Yes, it depends. The, the other thing, what is gold? Is it still at 4325 today? what it was this morning. I mean, that is just, that should take people's brother.
Starting point is 02:02:24 43.63. 43. I mean, you want to talk about a chart that is consistent, I mean, it's consistent up movement from the beginning of 2024 till today, but really, you know, rocket ship up in the last three months. This is the world saying things are changing. That's the, that's the thing you have to take from that. is the world is saying the financial center will not hold as far as the way we have set up the entire world with America being the big mover and shaker.
Starting point is 02:03:08 When Biden went in and said, we're going to take all these assets from Russia, he violated that system. We're no longer going to let them use the SWIF system. of that began this unraveling. Something is happening. This is big money saying something big is coming and I want to be prepared for it. And
Starting point is 02:03:31 it's disturbing. You should keep your eye on gold. That is a disturbing sign of instability. I can't at this point go any further than that. And I hope that it slows down or stops or reverses itself. We do not
Starting point is 02:03:47 want $5,000 gold. You know, and there, I mean, Goldman Sachs came out, I think last week, $6,000, was it six or $7,000 gold in the next year? Not good. All right, back in just a second. Let me tell you about relief factor. Starting point is 02:04:20 You notice when they come back. That's what people talk about when they talk about relief factor. They talk about, you know, the laughs returning, the projects, the simultaneous, sure, all help moments that make you feel useful and alive again. Starting point is 02:06:17 would have seen at the time around by some, worn by some, no kings but Christ, the skull and crossbones with a crown floating above the head, meaning that all kings are mortal except for one, and we don't answer to a mortal king. We answer to Christ. You can get the merch now at Glenback
Starting point is 02:06:36 dot com look for it on the front page i saw a few people not understanding the imagery associated with the slogan yeah it's that at all um yeah i hear that you know but i mean because they don't know the history they don't know the history the the history is all kings are mortal except for one and that's why the crown is not on the head of the skull it floats above the skull because the crown belongs to christ and christ alone and this was like widely used at the time of the founder of the founding. And so it's a way for you to connect with the founding, the founders, the protests. You're basically saying that if you don't like the shirt, you don't like America?
Starting point is 02:07:17 Is that basically what you're, is that the basic truth of this? I wouldn't go that far. I would say you're more of a fascist communist. Okay. Okay. That makes sense. That just hates all things good. Okay, good.
