The Glenn Beck Program - Food You | Guests: Michael Malice & Ben Weingarten | 1/7/22

Episode Date: January 7, 2022

Glenn rants about the lack of appropriate medications to deal with COVID. BlazeTV host Mark Levin joins to compliment Glenn on his wardrobe and discuss the hypocrisy of President Biden’s statements ...about January 6. Bill O'Reilly joins for his weekly news recap, discussing President Trump’s possible re-election and COVID. NBC’s Chris Hayes posted a critique of a painting hung in Glenn’s house, but as always, there’s some missing context behind the painting that would have been easy to Google. Alas, the Left never misses an opportunity to take a swipe at political opponents — even if it's dead wrong. Author and podcaster Michael Malice joins Glenn to discuss Glenn’s painting, media manipulation, and President Trump. Ben Weingarten, author and senior editor of Real Clear Investigations, joins to discuss and compare the January 6 riot with the 2020 "Black Lives Matter" riots. Learn more about your ad choices. Starting point is 00:00:00 60% of the vans on Amazon come to Vandeurindependent like SACMagic Hello, here Camille of SACMagic, our compresses show of fraud
Starting point is 00:00:07 are fabriced to Quebec, and our presence on Amazon enlarge our clientele to world entire. Trouve of
Starting point is 00:00:12 new new other on other. On America, when did we become a third world country? When did we
Starting point is 00:01:15 start to just accept? Oh, yeah, that can't be done. We can't do that. Oh, yeah, we're out of that. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:01:23 uh, just can't get it done. What did we start expecting and living with? Yeah, I mean, I am your doctor. I am licensed, but I really believe in this treatment, but I can't give it to you because the government is threatening me. Excuse me? This is my third day with COVID, and yes, I didn't get the vaccine.
Starting point is 00:01:50 And yes, just like everyone else who has had the vaccine, vaccine, I did get it a second time. You might have had the vaccine and then got COVID. Well, before there was a vaccine, I got COVID. So I had the antibodies that could fight against COVID, and maybe that's why this time it's just like a bad cold. But I want to ask America a question. Who the hell is running this place? Why is it I can't get a bad cold? And, I want to ask America a question. And, you the hell is it? I can't get any of the standard treatments that many doctors believe in. I can't get them either because, oh, we're completely out in Texas. Or I can't prescribe that because the government will come after me.
Starting point is 00:02:42 This is insanity. This government, this administration, is talking now about sending out more tests so you'll know you're sick, but then you won't have anything to do about. You'll... Good luck with that. I guess you should have gotten the vaccine. Oh, by the way, they came out and said, it looks like now the fourth booster shot is the one that will do it.
Starting point is 00:03:11 We begin in 60 seconds. Knowing my wussy vocal cords, Stu, you better help me today because I will be. be i am revved up and i'll i probably will be uh having no voice in 30 minutes uh so just be a calming figure for me yes sir mhm calm remain calm glen everything's going to be okay shut i'm lying but remain calm let me tell you about my pillow my pillow yes i am a sheet snob i am it is uh it is something that once you've slept on really good sheets it's really hard to go back.
Starting point is 00:03:59 And I go to much closer to Mr. Every Day than I am at this point, Stu Brigere, who was not a sheet snob until he started traveling the country. That's true. And you used to mock me. I did. And I still mock you. I mean, that has not stopped. But usually.
Starting point is 00:04:15 But I mean, for sheets. For sheets. Yeah. It's important to have. I mean, look, I think it's one of those things that you spent so much time in bed, a third of your life that you should think about making it wonderful a little bit more often. and great sheets will do that. A great pillow will do that.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Make that those eight hours, if you can get eight hours, make it count because it's a big chunk of your life that we never spend any time thinking about. Yeah, and they are great. These sheets, I mean, you know, to get really good sheets, it used to be you'd pay hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars for, it's got a thread count of 58,000. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:55 And it would cost a lot of money. It doesn't now with MyPillow.com. In fact, they're having, with their Giza dream sheets, Giza is the softest cotton in the world. These are fantastic sheets. Every time you sleep on them, every time you wash them, they get even softer. They are durable. They're great. And you can get them for half off.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Now, you can get one, buy one, get one free. Now at MyPillow.com, if you use the promo code back, MyPillow.com, promo code back, 800, 966, 3117, get the great radio specials. Right now, you'll find more than just the sheets at MyPillow.com. Click on the new radio listener specials and type in the promo code Beck to find this special now. Two for one, Giza Dream Sheets. Back in a second now, let's start. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:47 I can't get any monocolonial antibodies. I guess Texas is out of them now. Okay. Do you need those? Those are, I thought, for more serious cases. They're typically used for people in the hospital or like that are, who's life, life is threatened. Now, I know you have, you know, 47 different ailments that put you in a category where you could be in trouble with COVID. But, yeah, I mean, I am a guy in my 50s.
Starting point is 00:06:21 I am muscularly obese. I have immune deficiency. I mean, I've got a lot of things going on for me. My immune system has been compromised. I mean, I think I could make a good case for that. I'm just not used to a country that a year into the monocolonal antibody thing. We still can't get them. I mean, I've never seen, I've never, I've never been in this country.
Starting point is 00:06:58 I've lived 57 years. Never in my time, as an American citizen, have I ever seen a time when you just couldn't get it, unless it was like a Teddy Ruckspin or cabbage patch kid. Okay, we can always get it. We can always get it. and now we are running shortages to even people who desperately need it. Can they get it in America? Also, one quick thing on the monoclonal antibodies, which is a little bit complicating right now,
Starting point is 00:07:36 is there are three different types of them. The two, there's been two that people, you know, the regeneron is one. I can't remember. Is Eli Lilly that has another one? Yeah. Those have been the two most prominent ones. And there's a third one, kind of like if you think about it, like as, the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, right?
Starting point is 00:07:51 Like it was kind of like the third one that wasn't used as much and wasn't as common. That third one seems to be the only one working against Omicron. So if you have Omicron, which of course you don't know, because we don't have a test that's quick and easy to tell you if you have Omicron. But if you have Omicron, which you probably do at this point, the two main monoclonal antibodies may not even work very well against it. It seems like what was that first word? What was that first word? Is that first word? May.
Starting point is 00:08:21 May. I think it was may not. May not work. Right. That's fine. Right. I understand that. I've already got, believe me.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I know all the details. Okay, sorry. Well, I wasn't sure. No, no, no. I know. Yeah. So, yeah, that's great. And I just like, I just like the lack of it not to decide for me.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Right. You know what I mean? And the other part of it is, I can't get. any other treatment. There is no other treatment. My doctor said, I'd like to give you,
Starting point is 00:08:58 what's the horse medicine that they keep making fun of? Ivermectin. Yeah, which is not a horse medicine. No, it's a human medicine. I would prescribe, Glenn, I would prescribe that for you. This was day one when I was first starting to come down with it. And he's like, but I've already gotten threats. I can't.
Starting point is 00:09:16 I just can't. I can't risk. writing that prescription. And I'm like, this is insane. This is insane what's going on. We can get sick, but the only thing you can do about it, the only thing is get a vaccine, which doesn't stop you from getting it. Well, and once you get it, it doesn't help you at all. I mean, it's not, right? Like, once you are already sick, it's not, that's not what it does. Exactly right. And so they would be saying, if I had the three boosters already,
Starting point is 00:09:50 they would be saying, well, it's the fourth that would really knock this thing out. Or they'll say, oh, you know what, but you've got a milder version of it. Yeah, yeah, I do. I do. And I didn't take the vaccine. I just, my natural antibodies, because I had it before there was a vaccine, my natural antibodies are now making this into something that I can deal with within a couple of days. I just have not seen, look, I'm a guy who does this for a living. I'm a guy with
Starting point is 00:10:24 all kinds of connections. I'm a guy. If I wanted to go to, uh, to call up any doctor in the country, I could probably get them on the phone, which makes me think, what the hell do people that don't have who are just normal people? What are they doing? How do they get their help. This is the most corrupt system I have ever seen. Science has totally discredited itself. Medicine is totally discrediting itself. You know, all these people who say, you know, if I've got cancer, I should be able to use a cancer treatment. We just pass that. We have that now. If you're dying of something, you have a right to try. Those are trials. Gee, it's weird.
Starting point is 00:11:19 So is this. COVID. Everything that we're doing right now is a trial. Nothing has had five years of study behind it to tell us that it's safe or anything else. Why don't I have a right to try everything? Why? And why is it this government? They will take down everything that is a therapeutic.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Why is it that we only have the vaccine? No therapeutics. It would seem to me that it would be a, lot easier to come up with many things that could make you feel better and to help you along after you're sick, then shut it down entirely. Now, we do have, we do have many things that are, that are dealing with this, right? They're just in short supply. We have two new pills that are coming out here that are in very short supply right now.
Starting point is 00:12:10 But if you got this in six months, you'd probably have just pills that you'd get at a, you know, as a prescription. You have, you do have the monoclonal antibodies, as you point out, not easy to get. You do have steroids and things like that that they are using just at different phases. Another one is fluvoxamine, which seems to show some promise for people and is widely available. But again, is another one of these situations kind of like Ivermectin where it's not necessarily specifically applicable to this particular, you know, virus. yet. Like it seems to show all this promise in the studies, but they haven't said, okay, go ahead, try this thing. So it might not be easy to get a prescription for that either.
Starting point is 00:12:56 You know, I just really like my, I'd really like doctors to be able to prescribe what they want to prescribe. Yeah. Oh, yeah, totally. I totally agree with that. I mean, there are doctors. I've had prescriptions on things where the doctor was like, it's really not for this, but it actually kind of really works. Yeah. I've had that all the time. How come my doctor can't really do that? Without fear. Without fear. This country has slipped into fear and we're allowing it.
Starting point is 00:13:28 If I could use the F word that wasn't, oh, let's say food, I would use it right now. I want to. Wait. Food you. Food you. Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are? Who do you think you are?
Starting point is 00:13:46 What country do you think you're running? How dare you? Food you. Isn't though your current situation something that we've been arguing for a while? Most people get hit with symptoms that are mild, and this is not a gigantic emergency, and you don't need to be rushed to the hospital to get monocolon. The only reason, the only reason I am not full.
Starting point is 00:14:16 recovered today I am convinced because I know somebody who had COVID three weeks ago and got regeneron they were well the next day the next day they were like I am back on my feet he told me I think it was within three hours I was feeling better okay the only reason why I am not fully back is because I can't get any treatments and it's bull crap it's absolute bull crap. It is politics. It is control. It is fear mongering. It is un-American. Un-American. And I'm sick of it. How much of this is just you being frustrated because you're sick and you feel terrible and you're just zero. Anger is, anger is bubbling over. Zero. Zero. Zero. I, I, Stu, how long have I been saying, what the hell? How long are we going to put up with? And not not about COVID, about everything.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah. Wait a minute. I can't get paint. I can't get house paint. I can't get this. I can't get this. Then what the hell are we doing? If you can't get a product, then somebody, the free market would say, well, let's step to the plate and make it. But this government is standing in the way of people that will work. They're giving them all kinds of incentives to not work. They're giving them all kinds of rules. that stop you from dreaming and doing. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of it. And here we are. I mean, you know, if somebody was like putting posies
Starting point is 00:15:57 in a wizard's hat and saying, I can cure you of this, you know, at the point where the plague was going on, why not? Why not? I'm not going to call the wizard.
Starting point is 00:16:13 But if somebody is doing, that, let them try. I mean, we didn't ever hear anything about Chris Cuomo and his wizard's hat with the posies in it. He was able to do that. His doctor was able to do what his doctor wanted to do. His doctor is insane. Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do? Who are you? You've been elected and you've only done politics since 1970. 72. And you are going to tell my doctor what he can do. Bull crap, food you. Okay. Now, let me... Zero percent. You're saying zero percent. I just want to make sure it's zero percent.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Yeah, I think it's zero percent. You've done a lot of monologues on this topic without saying the words food you. Maybe that's at least one percent. It's not that I'm feeling bad. And I'm, it's that I am a deep in it. Just. It's frustrating. Hey, what do you, you know, can I get? No, we're all out.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Okay, well, I heard about this. Could you do that? No, I really can't. No, that's, you know, that's something that, why? Why? It's bull crap. Okay, let me tell you about, if you want to buy or sell your house. Sell your house if you're living in one of these stupid, stupid states and move down to places where we're actually kind of free.
Starting point is 00:17:55 And that is Texas, Florida. You know, don't bring your old stuff with you. If you know why you're moving because of the way your stupid friends voted, then move out. And you're going to need a great real estate agent, especially if you're moving from one of those crappy states because who wants to buy it? Oh, gee, I got a great house. in Chicago. Great. Good luck with that. Real estate agents.I trust.com. They are, we find, the best real estate agents in your area, the one with a track record and the business practices that we believe make the best person in your area to buy or sell a house. We can help you
Starting point is 00:18:35 across the street or across the country buying and selling your house. It will be made really simple and people who listen to you and work for you. It's real estate agents.I trust.com. Real Real estate agents I trust.com. 10 second station ID. Did you see the, did you see the speeches yesterday from the president and the vice president? Oh my gosh, is she obnoxious? That's another story, but.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Do you see any of those on January 6th? And did you see that the cast of Hamilton came out And they zoomed a live performance of Hamilton for Nancy Pelosi and the committee for January 6, which was so great. And the way I think we should have our politicians looking into, you know, that are really buckling in and looking at people who were trying to overthrow the government of the United States. I had it on my list. I didn't think they'd be smart enough to do it. thought, while you're deep in that investigation, you should get Carmen Miranda or whoever that guy is to do Hamilton, please. And I know you can't get them in person because of COVID, but they should
Starting point is 00:20:23 perform it on Zoom. I never thought they'd do it, but they did it. America, sleep well tonight. Your country is in safe hands, safe hands. You're not helping. You're not helping me a lot here, Stu. I've been trying, but I think you are, you've, you've hit that, like, point of irritation where you're, you might not be, uh, there might not be a way to help. What do you mean by that? What do you mean by that? No, I think, I think, you know, I get that like, um, whenever I get sick or I, something goes wrong, I just get like, so, everything keeps bothering me. I don't know, I think I, because I mean, I've heard you talk about these issues before, but there's usually less of a just, I want to kill everyone around me sort of vibe.
Starting point is 00:21:13 You can ask my wife, I've been a pretty good patient. I'm not, no, I'm not grumpy. No, no, not at all. I don't think there's any part of it. Oh, buckle up, America. I have just begun. I love doing businesses with. companies that not only know what I need, but also what I want. And then don't sit around when everybody else is doing something like, you know, something crappy or telling them that's a crazy idea. They just do it.
Starting point is 00:22:07 That's my Patriot Supply. My Patriot Supply are the people that have made my family safe for emergencies, and they give me the calories that I need, not necessarily the calories I want. I mean, 2,000 calories. Who could exist on that every day? The food lasts up to 25 years in storage, which is great, and it tastes delicious. You need at least every family should have a four-week emergency food kit. Now, this is their most popular, and you can save $50 on a four-week emergency food kit right now.
Starting point is 00:22:41 It's breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks even snacks, 2,000 calories a day. Your family will be able to have a nutritious diet. God forbid if something goes wrong with the supply chain. But what could ever happen there? Preparewithglen.com. Preparewithglen.com. Go there now. Brand new book from Glenn Beck.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Crankey Glenn Beck. It's called The Great Reset. It's in bookstores on Tuesday. Order now. This is the... He's on now? Mark Levin calling in. Hello, Mark.
Starting point is 00:23:32 is Glenn Beck Is this Mark Levin? Glenn, I just wanted to say I just felt compelled to call you and tell you you are the number one person in radio when it comes to wardrobes. I want to tell you something.
Starting point is 00:23:53 This wardrobe thing today is absolutely a fan- Yeah, I'm a sharp dresser, am I? I love your sweatship for Israel. Yeah. You're obviously watching the show this morning. Yeah. Because I'm wearing a Mark Levin.
Starting point is 00:24:09 Yeah. I'm especially watching your left part of your breast there. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, hey, my eyes are up here, buddy. My eyes are up here. How are you, Mark? Where they belong. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:24:21 How are you, buddy? Uh, you know, frustrated. But you know that. You know that very well. I'm doing great, but the country's going to hell. so that's a problem. I know. I know.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah. Good to talk to you, and thank you. Well, you know, June 6th is very, very important. January, rather, excuse me. January 6th is a very, very important day. It's the day I really celebrate to hate the left,
Starting point is 00:24:48 hate them more than I usually do. And I thought January 6th, we should recognize as the day that murder has gone through the roof thanks to Democrat policies. I really think we ought to turn January. sixth into an anniversary. And isn't it sick? The two realities we have, the real one where people live, and then this phony collaboration
Starting point is 00:25:13 with the media and the Democrats. It's like two damn different worlds, isn't it? Yeah, it is. And, you know, the media has gone from fake to knowingly, knowingly lying and obstructing. they really are, and I hated this when Donald Trump said it the first time, but they really had become the animity of the people. I mean, this January 6th thing is total nonsense. Total nonsense.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Well, they've destroyed the free prince. You watch this guy who tricked Todd with this haircut like Eddie Munster, whatever they do, they put like a spaghetti stringer on his head, and then they take a razor. I don't know what they do with this guy. But it's like the dumbest low IQ guy. areas all over NBC. And then they have George Stephanopoulos, who is a complete joke.
Starting point is 00:26:08 I mean, everybody knows. He used to, you know, attack women, and now there he is at ABC. Hang on just a second. Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark, Mark. Hang on just a second. Stu, can you get the producers on the phone and see if we can move Stewart Scheller to next hour? Because, I mean, I don't want to cheat Stewart of time. And I also don't want to cut Mark off because,
Starting point is 00:26:32 yes, we'll do. You know, Mark is crankier than I am, and that's saying something today. I was just calling about his life, and I don't know what's going on now. I know, I know. So did you see Kamala Harris yesterday? As soon as she came on, I shut it off.
Starting point is 00:26:52 She is so unlikable. Just absolutely unlikable. You know, If somebody has the worst voice in radio, that would be neat, her voice. I listen to her voice, and I can't stand it. You know, and you know she's such a phony, and it's just unbelievable. To compare this to Pearl Harbor and 9-11 and stuff like that is absolutely unbelievable. It's outrageous.
Starting point is 00:27:16 The people who died, the families and so forth, and as you know, and I'm sure you've said it, the only person who died that day was in his patriot, who was shot dead. but the same people who celebrated the riots, the same people who celebrated Black Lives Matter and all, we don't need lessons from them. This whole thing is kind of a cover-up for Pelosi who didn't do what she should have done to protect that capital building. And have you ever seen a more repugnant and repulsive person than Liz Cheney?
Starting point is 00:27:48 Seriously. I just, just grotesque. The Bushes, the team. I don't come on until six years. I know. You got a long way to go, brother. Let me play something here for you. This is from Biden's speech yesterday. Can you play the part where, you know, just because you lose?
Starting point is 00:28:12 The former President of the United States of America has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election. He's done so because he values power over principle. because he sees his own interest as more important than his country's interest than America's interest. And because his bruised ego matters more to him than our democracy or our Constitution, he can't accept he lost. He can't accept that he lost.
Starting point is 00:28:46 Please play cut five for me, please. Here are the Democrats. Yes or no, do you still maintain the 2018 election was stolen? That's your language. My full language was that it was stolen from the voters of Georgia. We do not know what they would have done because not every eligible Georgian was permitted to participate fully in the election. And you know this. If Catherine Harris, Jeb Bush, Jim Baker, and the Supreme Court hadn't tampered with the results, Al Gore would be president.
Starting point is 00:29:22 George Bush would be back in Austin. I don't see this. president-elect as a legitimate president. You do not consider him a legitimate president. And Al Gore and Joe Lieberman got 547,000 more votes than George Bush did for the United States. Folks, you know it, I know it, they know it, we won that election. I believe he knows he's an illegitimate president.
Starting point is 00:29:50 He knows. He knows that there were a bunch of different reasons. why the election turned out the way it did. Let's go back to Florida. We actually won the last presidential election, folks. They stole the last presidential election. I think it's also critical to understand that, as I've been telling candidates who have come to see me, you can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee,
Starting point is 00:30:21 and you can have the election stolen from you. Was President George Bush legitimately elected? Without voter suppression, Stacey Abrams would be the governor of Georgia. Okay, stop. They cannot handle losing a single time, a single time. And they're now blaming insurrection on this president questioning the outcome. There's no question about it. And you know, when there are people blew up the Capitol building in 19,
Starting point is 00:30:54 1954, Jimmy Carter ultimately pardoned them. The weather on the ground blew it up in 1971, Clinton ultimately pardoned them. And one of the ringleaders was Obama's buddy, Del Ayers. And they attacked the Pentagon and blew that up. Then they blew up the State Department. Then they circled back in 1983 and hit the Capitol building again. Really, January 6th is their May 1. It's their May Day.
Starting point is 00:31:20 That's what we're dealing with here as far as I'm concerned. Of course, these are liars. These are hypocrites. They do this sort of thing. The biggest problem we have is the greatest enemy we have in this country is the Democrat Party. Whether it's slavery or segregation or Jim Crow and now it's quote-unquote democratic socialism. They never embrace Americanism. This party has been a poison, a cancer on the groin of American politics, really.
Starting point is 00:31:47 And you see the reprobates that lead at Biden. Biden is a nasty man. He joined in with the segregationist when he got a lot. elected. Then he tried to destroy Clarence Thomas. He tried to destroy Bob. This is a mean, nasty guy. Kamala Harris is as stupid as she seems, to be perfectly honest about it. And then you have Nancy Pelosi. I call her Eva Pelosi because she called those brave federal law enforcement. Men and women who are trying to protect the federal courthouse in Portland, stormtroopers. Now, of course, she loves only law enforcement that protects her. But we could go on and
Starting point is 00:32:25 along with this. They're so corrupt. The media corrupt. These people are, look at Chuck Todd. His wife was a Democrat. He worked for Harkin. George Stephanovilles with Clinton. You could go right down the line, the incestuous relationship between the press and the Democrat part. You can't tell the difference between their propaganda ever. And I'd love to see their text and emails. They're so worried about Hannity's. Can you imagine, can you imagine the text and emails between people at CNN and MSNBC and Democrats with Capitol Hill. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Let me ask you this. I just did it in. I love that sweatshirt you're wearing. Yeah. You think you can get that at Blaze merch? I think you can get that. What's the address where you can get this? I don't really know.
Starting point is 00:33:10 I get it for free. What the hell of mine? Yeah. I got mine for free too. I love it, Mark. I wear it all the time. Let me ask you this. I just did an interview with...
Starting point is 00:33:20 It's not on me. Go ahead. sorry. I just did an interview with Donald Trump. In my mind, there is absolutely no doubt he is running again. What are your thoughts on him running? Is it the same kind of outcome? Who do they have to run against him? Well, they're worried about him running again. That's what this is all about. Obviously, exactly right. But they fear him more than anybody else. The rhinos, the never-Trumpers fear him more than anybody else. We have a very good team.
Starting point is 00:33:55 I mean, you've got a lot of people. You've got DeSantis and others right behind him. But the Sampas is 43 years old. You've got others. But, you know, when you look at his presidency, it was an enormously effective presidency. You know, you and I backed Ted Cruz early on, and then after the nomination, we supported Donald Trump. and Donald Trump has been a far more conservative president than either of the Bushes, than either than the rhinos would ever want him to be.
Starting point is 00:34:23 And I've come to really like the man personally. You've met him. He's very charismatic. He's a very nice man. He's a very kind man. They'll never show you that side of him because they attack, attack, attack. The thing is, and everybody knows it, look what they did with the FBI, the FISA court, the intelligence agencies, these criminal investigations. we have never seen anything like this before.
Starting point is 00:34:47 And now the big lie, January 6th, I can tell you, they don't want to talk about what happened in the 2020 election. You're only allowed to talk about what they want you to talk about. We'll talk about whatever the hell we want to. And I have to tell you, Mark. Yeah. Go ahead. No, go ahead. I'm rambling, I know.
Starting point is 00:35:03 But even putting aside the ballots and the machines, I can tell you, in Pennsylvania, they violated the federal constitution. And my wife was involved in that litigation. They violated the federal constitution. We stood for the Constitution in the United States. These Democrats, their lawyers were all over the country, particularly in these battleground states, changing the rules through their Democrat elected judges, through their Democrat governors, overturning what Republican state legislatures were doing, which is a violation of the federal constitution, in order to set the groundwork for Biden.
Starting point is 00:35:35 And we're not even allowed to talk about it. And so when these Republican legislatures, 19 of them so far have said that we're going to fix this, not to change the outcome of elections, but to get them back where they can actually be monitored, Jim Crow and all the rest. I mean, tens of millions of people, they are sick of this, they are fed up with the drama that the press creates and the Democrat Party creates. These are the same people who have lied to us over and over again about everything. Mark Levin. Mark Levin, thanks for calling in, man.
Starting point is 00:36:11 really appreciate it. By the way, watch my special, I think you have a subscription to Blaze TV. Watch the interview I did with Donald Trump about halfway through. I ask him about cleaning out all of the agencies and shutting down the Department of Ed. It's really telling. You should really listen to that because I think that's what needs to be done. All these things just need to be cleaned out or shut down. Mark, last thing, congratulations on the number one book of the year. I don't know of a conservative that has ever done that. I couldn't be happier for you. Tremendous book. And thank you, thank you. And you were a big help, and it is a great honor. And I want to thank you for all you do with this country, too, man. Really? You're just terrific.
Starting point is 00:37:00 So you have a good day. Same with Stu. All right. You too. God bless. God bless you. Thanks. Mark Levine. back in just a second. First, who's our commercial sponsor here? Sorry. It's Relief Factor. Relief Factor has been helping me for years now. I can't wait to tell you about the painting.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Did you see what happened on MSNBC? Because of the interview that I did with Donald Trump, and I did part of it in my house, and that painting that I talked to you about last. Monday of the Joe Lewis fight, MSNBC was like, what is that Nazi propaganda? I can't wait to take that apart. But I couldn't paint my Nazi propaganda before I started taking relief factor. I couldn't hold a paintbrush in my hands.
Starting point is 00:38:00 It was horrible, absolutely horrible. relief factor gave me my life back. I probably wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for relief factor because I just couldn't deal with it every day and deal with all of the stuff in America. So relief factor, if you have pain and you just have tried everything, please try this. Right now you can get their three-week quick start trial for 1995. Just go to relieffactor.com, relieffactor.com, or call 1-800-4, the number four, relief. 1-800 for relief relief
Starting point is 00:38:35 Relieffactor.com This is the Glenn Back program It was nice of Mark Levin to call in I guess he called in because I was wearing some of his merch Really nice sweatshirt
Starting point is 00:39:06 I love this sweatshirt It says Levin on it Yeah, it's cool But I got it I got it soon as we merged And the Blaze Became Blaze TV And CRTV
Starting point is 00:39:17 It became Blase TV And I wear it quite often. I didn't. I mean, it's nice of Mark to be watching. And if this works, Monday I'm wearing a Joe Rogan T-shirt. So.
Starting point is 00:39:31 I had to say, too, you mentioned this right at the end of the interview. It is impossible to overstate how successful that book was. It is. It was the number one book in the country. And just listen to that. Say that again. You don't understand.
Starting point is 00:39:47 Above all other, the best-selling book, not the best-selling, you know, political book. Right. The best-selling book in America last year was Mark Levins. Yeah. And it was, you know, he did it entirely without any mainstream media support. Like, there, he didn't go do the Today show about this book. I know.
Starting point is 00:40:10 He did it all on just. You know, we, go ahead. You, I know you helped an awful lot with that. No, I didn't. No, that is built entirely by him. Yeah. Now, listen. What won't be the best-selling book of all this year, my book comes out next week.
Starting point is 00:40:26 It's the Great Reset Order Now. It's a great surprise earlier in the program to have Mark Levin just phone in because I'm wearing one of his sweatshirts and he was watching the blaze. And he's like, hey, dude, I just wanted to say, great taste in clothing today. But I had him on and so it's kind of screwed up the whole schedule, but it's been a good screw-up. We have today Michael Malice. We also have Stuart Scheller. He was the guy who came out and said right after Afghanistan, we need some answers. You know what he went through.
Starting point is 00:42:10 He went through. They tried to put him in jail. They wanted to put him in prison. He is free now and free to speak. And he's going to be on the show here in about half an hour because I had to move him because of Mark. And we have Michael Malice on. and Bill O'Reilly in 60 seconds. All right, let's talk a little bit about,
Starting point is 00:42:34 let's talk a little bit about Rough Greens. Tanya and I were talking about President Miles. President Miles is Stu's dog, Miles. We call him President Miles because he's still younger than the president. He's 17 in dog years. No, 17, and then add that to dog years. So he is, he is about 25 years younger than President Obama or President Biden and yeah and he's uh he's also sleeping 22 hours which means he's
Starting point is 00:43:07 awake more than President Biden yeah we he we put his bed right in front of the fireplace and we've been calling them they're kind of fireplace chats where he just kind of goes over there and he lays down and then like two seconds then he just conks out and falls asleep just like the president's press conferences just exactly right exactly right have we thought about putting rough greens on the president's food that's a great point he needs his vitamins and minerals he does he might if they sprinkle some rough greens on his food he might be active uh a little more you know of the day i like that he might be awake more yeah rough greens is uh not a dog food but something you put on the dog's food gives them all the vitamins
Starting point is 00:43:47 and minerals that they need it is really tremendous stuff it's worked wonders uh in in uh stew's household with president miles and his other what's your other dog's name piper Piper. A little golden retriever. A big golden retriever actually at this point. Yeah. Yeah. I like Piper.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Just don't like Piper's name. But then what am I going to say? My dog's name is Uno. So what do I know? They're great for your dog. Just try it. You get a free bag right now if you just call 1-833 Glenn 33 or Roughgreens.com.
Starting point is 00:44:24 Get a free bag right now. Roughgreens. com slash Beck. Roughgreens. com slash back. All right, Mr. Bill O'Reilly is with us now. Hello, Bill. How is your holiday, sir?
Starting point is 00:44:39 Oh, you're talking to me? You're talking to me, Beck? Unless I have another Bill O'Reilly. I don't know. You got 55,000 people on the show. I got a sweatshirt. I got a sweatshirt. Okay?
Starting point is 00:44:51 Do you? If I send it when you wear it? Okay, I know I'm going to have to send it to extra, extra, extra large. I'll get it. Whoa. that's obviously a fat joke. Here I am, possibly on my deathbed, possibly on my deathbed with about of COVID, and I'm still in here slugging away for America, and you come with a fat joke. Wow.
Starting point is 00:45:16 That's deeply. I feel your pain, even though I don't have COVID because I don't go out of the basement. I live in the basement. And I'm not going out. I'm not going out for another two years. but I feel your pain back. So I hope you get better. I will tell you this.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Look, I had COVID before there was a vaccine, so I've been on the natural antibodies. Yeah. And I just had an antibody test a couple of weeks ago. And I have it now. Again, this is the second time. But honestly, it's really not that big of a deal. It wiped me out the first time for about three weeks. I've had it since Wednesday, and I'm already on the rebound.
Starting point is 00:45:57 And I can't get any. You know, can't get any kind of therapeutics because we either don't have any, or they can't come to Texas, or my doctors are too afraid because the medical association is manhandling all of our doctors. So, but I'm making it, Bill. I'm making it. Well, I'm glad to hear that, Beck. But I'm sorry that your antibodies betrayed you. But my only one question, I think your listeners have this question, too. Do you like hang out with COVID-infected people?
Starting point is 00:46:30 Do you like go to a club and we all have COVID? Is that twice? Twice? I had it before there was a vaccine. I had it before there was a vaccine. And so I got it early. Can I make a suggestion? After you're better, which will be soon,
Starting point is 00:46:51 I think you should walk around carrying a little bell like they used to do with leprosy. Just and wherever you are, just ring the barrels of people know, oh, there's Typhoid Beck. Bill, I just did an interview with Donald Trump. It aired yesterday. He was exceptional. He wasn't wallowing in the past, wasn't really talking about the past. I got in all kinds of heat for it because I didn't ask him a January 6th question. You know, I asked him things that I think the average person care about.
Starting point is 00:47:21 Gas prices, inflation, communists in every department. department. Anyway, but I was really impressed, and I was left without a shadow of a doubt that he intends on running. Oh, and now with the attack yesterday by Biden, it's really personal now. See, if you do that to Donald Trump, if you go out of your way to try to humiliate him and marginalize him, which is exactly what Biden did for his whole speech yesterday, and people should really understand what that was about. It wasn't about bringing the nation together and saying, hey, all sane people realize we cannot have this ever again.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Everybody should condemn it. No. It was, he did it. Look at him. He did it. So what good is that do? We all know that Biden and the Democratic Party believe that Donald Trump instigated and encouraged the riot on.
Starting point is 00:48:22 January 6th, everyone knows that. So to do a national worldwide address and just repeat that again with no advancement of, hey, you know, maybe this is a good lesson that we can't be Kazakhstan because that's what they're doing this week and that we have to solve our problems in a better way. No, none of that. It was take Trump off the board for 2024. That's what it was about. There is also another attack that is mounting now, somebody that was Melania's PR person. I know. Tell me about this.
Starting point is 00:49:06 This attack is amazing. Yeah. When this woman was hired, I never met her. I don't know her. But I went, ooh, you know, why are you doing? in this. Now, Melania, I know this to be true, very close friends with this woman, very, very tight. And she wanted this Grisham in the White House to be her
Starting point is 00:49:33 spokesperson. And then for a little while at the end, she went over to Trump to be in that communications office. But I think that what she says, I don't know. I mean, I'm not reading. her book, it's a hatchet book. It's like Mary Trump. They want to make money, bashing Trump. Wow. Okay. So I don't really care what she says. But the sense of betrayal here, when you're that tight with somebody as she was with Melania Trump, when you're invited to work for the White House, which is an honor, no matter who's in there, and then you turn around and you try to destroy them, oh boy, you know, people should really start to walk away from this kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:50:21 You know, and what people don't understand is Jonathan Haidt did a great book. Stu, what was the name of this book? Came out about five years ago. The righteous mind. The righteous mind. And he laid out the things that we have in common but are shifted. And we all have loyalty in common. We appreciate loyalty.
Starting point is 00:50:44 But it is at the bottom of the list for, uh, Democrats, and at the top, it's the number one trait that people look towards who are conservative, that you say what you mean and you mean what you say, and you stand. You're not a fair weather friend. You have a little dignity. You know, Beck, I got to make an observation here. Your analysis and bringing that to the attention of your listeners is very important. So maybe you should always have COVID. You see, you're, you're more cogent now. Shut up. Shut up. Now. So who are the, who are the, what is the candidate that could, because there's a lot of Republicans that I've talked to that say if he runs, it's going to be the same
Starting point is 00:51:37 thing and they're going to do the same thing. And everybody's going to be. Absolutely. Right. And everybody's going to be so tired of it. They're going to want another choice. and they just might go with the Democrat. And I cannot come up with a Democrat that could beat Donald Trump. There's no way. They'll stay home. So the people who are fed up with Biden and Trump, and there are millions of them, will just stay home. But independence will, I think, if things continue along this line with the Biden administration
Starting point is 00:52:06 failing on every level. And if they aren't failing on every level, please tell me what level they're succeeding on. Correct. You know, I'm open-minded. I'd like to hear where the success is. But if we continue along these lines, it's going to be, okay, who is going to do the least amount of damage? I mean, that's what is going to be. You're always going to have Donald Trump's flamboyance to use a kind word.
Starting point is 00:52:35 It's never going to go away. And that's a decision I made. And so this is personal for me. So I said to myself, do I want to go out on a history tour with a controversial guy like Donald Trump, where I know I'm going to get attacked, and I did? I mean, you know, but I can handle it. Or do I just want to pass and just continue to do? I didn't need to do that tour. But I decided to do it because I think, based upon the facts, that Trump did a good job in the four years representing the United States.
Starting point is 00:53:11 States. That's what my belief. Now, do I like the way he handle himself sometimes? No. And I've told him that. And I told him that to ensure. The independent, the new poll shows independence, Biden has hit an all-time low of 24, 24% approval rating. That's unheard of. So who is going to run against Donald Trump? Well, everyone looks like, Mary am, you know, maybe Liz Chan, run. No, no, no, no, no. I mean, I mean, on the Democratic side. That's not that far out. That's not that, look, she's not going to win in Wyoming. She's not going to be a congressperson anymore. So she could absolutely primary Trump, big name, she can raise money. So that's not that crazy out. But if the Republicans believe that Trump is not going to win, primary him.
Starting point is 00:54:09 So my question is, because I think he gets the nomination, my question is, who do the Democrats run against him? Because they're not going to run Biden. I don't think so either, but they don't have anybody to run. So then you're going to fall back on Hillary Clinton, who's already raising money again. Hey, man, I just said this last week. Hillary Clinton is going to run again. That's who he'll run against. And she's already setting it up because she knows what a fiasco the Biden administration is. Look, even if you loathe Hillary Clinton and Bill, they have a machine. Okay? They know how to govern in a sense that it's not a disorganized mess. It's not a Kamala Harris come out and excoriating the Capitol protesters while she wanted to raise
Starting point is 00:55:08 bail money for the people who were burning down cities. I mean, that's just insane. If you were writing her speech, would you really want to do that? No. Would you really want to bring attention to that? No, you could have avoided that and said, this is a bad thing. Let's get the problem solved so we don't have to do this again. That was a speech he should have gave.
Starting point is 00:55:32 But they have no awareness at all. But the Clintons do. And so it could be a separate. up between Trump and Hillary again. That would be amazing. All right, back in just as a way, more of Bill O'Reilly. I want to tell you a little bit about Built Bar. I have a New Year's resolution to lose weight, and hopefully COVID is helping me a little bit,
Starting point is 00:55:58 but probably not. I have a really hard time losing weight, mainly because I eat too much and I don't exercise at all. But beyond that, I still have a hard time losing weight. And I need every possible thing in my arsenal to fight because I have a sweet tooth. Built bar is the, it's a candy bar. It really is. I know it's a protein bar and it's low in carbs and low in sugar and high in protein and all the things that you need.
Starting point is 00:56:30 But it's made with real chocolate. And I think they should be sold as candy bars that are good. for you, not something good for you that also tastes like a candy bar, because those never work out, at least for me. I've never had something that was good for me and really delicious. This is, Built Bar. Try them out right now and accomplish your goal this year of losing weight. Built.com.
Starting point is 00:56:56 Built.com. Use the promo code, Beck 15, get 15% off your order. I am going to accomplish my goal this year, and it's going to be partly due to built.com. mostly self-control, but Beck 15 at 15% off now, built.com. 10 seconds, station ID. Welcome back to the program, Bill O'Reilly. What do you think the big story of the week is? Was it January 6th?
Starting point is 00:57:36 Yeah, I mean, I think that's a big story of the week, but it's going to die. And, you know, they'll do all the Sunday shows. You know what they'll do. Reprise it now terrible Trump is. but if you really want to step back, the biggest story of the week was one million Americans contracting COVID or reporting it
Starting point is 00:57:57 on Monday. I mean, that is just an amazing number. See, I think this is actually really good, Bill, because... Yeah, I understand. I mean, if the South African model, if the South African model holds that you'll have another few weeks of this
Starting point is 00:58:15 and then it'll fall off the cliff and then so many people will have the end. antibodies, which of course turned on you, that will die out. Maybe some planes will get back in the air. Yeah. Because there's COVID-unended consequences is amazing. Go ahead. Yeah. But it's not really COVID consequences. I think it is more of the government consequences. We could get back to America in probably a few weeks here if they would stop. helping people stay home by giving them more money than they can make out in the private sector. I agree 100% on that, and I know you and I have disagreed in the past.
Starting point is 00:59:03 But if you step back on this, the best thing that the government do now because they can't answer any questions. I mean, they can't even answer a question like, how long does a vaccine last? They can't even answer it. So they don't have any information for us. So just shut up. You know, I told Stu a few weeks ago to do that, but now I'm going to take that back. Stu can talk, but the federal government can't because they don't know anything about COVID. You know, Anthony Fauci, we should do the pinata thing with him.
Starting point is 00:59:36 He has to run through a long line and we just whack them with, you know, I don't know. It's a farce now. It's crazy now. And the fact that, you know, I have. I, you know, there's really, uh, no treatments that the government is recommending or pushing or not tearing down. That's the key. They're tearing down everything that is a treatment. Well, millions of Americans are getting it.
Starting point is 01:00:10 So what do we do besides isolate at home? Everything that is a possible treatment that I personally know people who have done other treatments once they've gotten it and it's helped them. the government is standing in the way of. I mean, it is, it's so clear what this government is doing. But it's almost over. I think it's almost over. I have to sit one out because I don't know. I'm not a medical person.
Starting point is 01:00:35 The FDA is supposed to, you know, say this stuff is safe. I don't know. What I do, my advice to everybody is get a doctor you trust. Follow the doctor's advice. Don't listen to the government. I mean, you know, I'd have to be. give that advice to doctors now. I'd have to give that advice to doctors now because doctors, a lot of doctors are not able to do the things that they truly believe in and have seen work.
Starting point is 01:01:05 But what is your doctor said? Does your doctor have a solution to you? I mean, do they recommend therapeutics for you? My doctor, yeah, absolutely. My doctor got me through the first case. I think it would have been even worse than it was. He got me through the first case. But now, any of the other therapeutics, he is, he's like, again, if I write it, he said, I've already been threatened. I think it's because he's my doctor. He said, I've already been threatened that, you know, don't go off the beaten path. It's awful. It is awful. And there are a lot of doctors that feel that way. All right. Bill O'Reilly. Thank you so much for being on. I'm sorry to cut you a loose early this week.
Starting point is 01:01:50 But we had a shift in the schedule because of a call with Mark Levin. But thanks a lot. We'll talk to you again next week. Bill O'Reilly. Make sure you follow him on Bill O'Reilly.com. It's no spin zone on every day. Bill O'Reilly.com. Back in a minute.
Starting point is 01:02:19 All right. Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. It's Relief factor. Relief factor, Stu, please make sure we get in sometime the MSNBC garbage about how I am a Nazi that came out yesterday. Oh, that's Nazi propaganda. It is so, it's delightful. I can't wait to dig into that.
Starting point is 01:02:43 But relief factor has helped me engage in Nazi propaganda. They were talking about this painting that was behind me during the Trump special. They called it a picture, so thanks for the shout out that you can't tell that it was a painting of mine. and not a photograph. Thank you for that, MSNBC. But I couldn't hold a paintbrush in my hand three years ago. Couldn't do it. Now I'm painting up a storm because of relief factor.
Starting point is 01:03:14 If you're in pain, please try this. Just try it. Try their three-week quick start trial pack. 1995. It's a dollar a day. Try it now. 70% of the people who order, order more month after month now. Relieffactor.com.
Starting point is 01:03:29 that's relieffactor.com. Head over to blazedtbac.com slash Glenn. Promocode is Glenn to save 10 bucks off your subscription. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We're glad you're here. Our sincere apologies to a guest that we had booked, and we've had them booked for a while. We had a mix-up earlier today, not a mix-up.
Starting point is 01:04:13 I just took a phone call from, from Mark Levin and missed the call with the guy who had, I really want to hear his story, was thrown into prison, thrown into jail and wanted to be in prison, they wanted him in prison, tried to dishonorably discharge him from his service. He was the guy who came out and talked about, we just want some answers from the Pentagon. We want somebody's head to roll for what's been going on in Afghanistan. You remember it quite well. He was going to be on with us today. He has been honorably discharged or given a general discharge and he's not going to jail. We wanted to talk to him, but now our schedules are conflicting and so he couldn't make it at this time. Hope to book him again next week. Next week, though, is going to be a very, very busy week because we are on the Great Reset. My new book comes out next week. If you want to make sure you get a copy, I urge you to order it now. The first run, we ran an awful lot of them.
Starting point is 01:05:22 This is the first time that we are publishing it ourselves. We are using a secondary to help distribute because we don't have the distribution arm at this point. But Mercury, Inc. We are doing it ourselves instead of going through a publisher and Simon & Schuster, and I am free now to write whatever I want, when I want. I was under contract with Simon and Schuster, and I can't tell you how glad I am. They were great partners for us for a long time, and then a Hillary Clinton guy got in and is running it, and he was just, I thought, a very bad partner for us.
Starting point is 01:06:03 And because of that, we were probably very bad partners for them. But I'm glad to be now in an era and have the ability to run our own publishing company. and to be able to bring you the things we want to bring you at the quality we want. The Great Reset is something that was probably the hardest book we've had to write because the information when we started was dribs and drabs and here and there, and as we got into it deeper and deeper, we saw how much of it has already been done where the foundation is. It is the biggest story in the world,
Starting point is 01:06:44 because this is not just about America. This is about the entire West. And I believe this is the biggest story for human civilization, perhaps in a hundred years. And no one is really talking about it. And there's a bunch of conspiracy theories that could take you offline. These are the facts. It is loaded with footnotes. So you can go and verify everything I always tell you.
Starting point is 01:07:12 Do not take my word for it. verify it yourself. That's why there's all kinds of footnotes from the original sources. But this is critical that we understand and we share with one another, this information, because we are the last line of defense. We have to be able to share this information. And if you are listening to us overseas, if you are listening to us anywhere in the world, I urge you to get the great reset. This is not an American story. But people in England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Africa, even Asia, need to understand. And all of the prime ministers, all of the presidents around, they ran on the same horrible
Starting point is 01:07:57 slogan that Joe Biden ran on, which is build back better. That is the great reset. And it is not a conspiracy theory. And it will change every aspect of your life. that is not hyperbole. And if you don't stop it now, by 2030, it will be done. I fear that it could be done in the next 12 months if we hit another massive crisis. And the Great Reset people, the Davos people, the World Economic Forum, just held a conference on December 6th on how they're going to deal with a global economic
Starting point is 01:08:42 collapse. And it's all great reset. It's all great reset. Please pick up my new book, The Great Reset. Please also, if you order it online, make sure you're ordering the right book. This is for the first time in my career, this is happening. There are dummy books called The Summary of the Great Reset with Glenn Beck. There's no way anyone could have written a summary because they haven't, The book hasn't even been released. Do not be fooled. Make sure you click on the Great Reset by Glenn Beck, period. It's a Mercury, Inc.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Book. Okay. We'll have more on that next week. You didn't pop on maybe Chris Hayes to do a little promotion for the book next week, maybe? Or what's your plan on that? I don't know. I think he's done a really good job of promoting my art and my art skills. He is.
Starting point is 01:09:40 This is a great story because, Chris Hayes, the MSNBC host, who, you know, I've heard various things about Chris Hayes and that, like, maybe he's kind of a sane member of the left. You know, I've heard people that we, you know, we liked say that, you know, he's much more sane on, you know, his show and podcasts than he is on Twitter. I don't know if that's accurate or not. I don't know him very well. But. I don't know him at all, so.
Starting point is 01:10:05 Yeah. So he tweets, I guess he saw a clip of you in doing the Trump interview. interview and you had the way that Trump interview worked for you know whatever it's worth behind the scenes you had taped the interview in December before the holidays and we're planning to be the first interview to come out on your podcast where you do weekly interviews and you're going to release that the first week of the new year now of course you got sick and we're unable to kind of do the full show around it that you wanted to but you had recorded a couple of like lines to introduce the interview basically in that in those few lines where you were saying that you were saying that you you were sick, in the background is your Joe Lewis painting. Joe Lewis, Max Schmelling painting. We talked about it earlier this week. For a completely different reason. Completely different reason. So it's just in the background of the picture.
Starting point is 01:10:55 So Chris Hayes apparently sees this and without doing one second of research, without questioning his initial instinct at all, goes out in tweets, is that a picture of Nazi darling Max Schmelling knocking out Joe Luehl? knocking out Joe Lewis on his wall. That's kind of a weird thing to have up! Exclamation point! And he links to the painting of Max Schmelling. Now, and he also responds to someone else and says,
Starting point is 01:11:21 that's a hell of a choice to put on your wall. The implication basically being that you are putting Nazi propaganda in your house because you secretly love Nazis and I guess we're caught on camera or maybe who knows, promoting to the conservative audience how much you love Nazis because all conservatives are not. Nazis. Now, with any effort at all, this supposed journalist could have easily just Googled, you know, Glenn Beck, Joe Lewis, Max Schmelling, and seen the segment that we did. What does it come up? I mean, I didn't Google it. I know for a fact the video is on there.
Starting point is 01:12:02 But I mean, let me, let me not even go to that first. Let me start here. Okay. It's amazing to me that his assumption would initially be, oh, I don't know, Glenn Beck must love the Nazis, right? It's not, there must be a story to why you would have Max Schmeling knocking out Joe Lewis on his wall. There's got to be a story. How do I find out what that story is?
Starting point is 01:12:27 If I tweet something, I'll look like an idiot if there's a story that explains it, right? That would be my, my thought. Like, if I saw a left-wing personality, Chris Hayes in the background, he's got a giant, wonderful painting of Joseph Stalin. I might think to myself, you know, that's kind of a weird thing to have on your wall. But I would immediately think, what if I don't know the story, I better Google it to see if I can figure out why he has a Joseph Stalin painting on his wall. So he does not bother to do that.
Starting point is 01:13:00 He just tweets without thinking without a second of thought about it, without a second of research about it. And, of course, doesn't look for the fact that you did a segment on national. national radio just two days earlier explaining exactly what the painting is. And of course, the painting, if you didn't hear that segment, let me give you. It's called the birth of a champion. The birth of a champion. This is exactly what you said on national radio and television just two days before this. It's only when you, it's called the birth of a champion.
Starting point is 01:13:32 It's only when you've been knocked down and counted out and received rightly deserved humiliation. Do you stand up? and you never make that mistake again. Schmelling came back. They had another fight. This time Joe Lewis took him seriously. He was prepared. He knocked him out in less than 90 seconds.
Starting point is 01:13:47 That's the birth of a champion. That was your explanation as to why you painted this painting. And it's a pretty, I think not only a normal conservative point to make, but a normal human being point to make that a failure isn't always just a failure. It's sometimes the most important part of a success. That's the entire thing. You explain that at length on national media just a couple of days beforehand. Yet, we have a guy who not only doesn't bother to look for the information, but also just assumes because his political opponent likes lower taxes than he does.
Starting point is 01:14:25 I guess he's a Nazi supporter in secret. If that's not a good microcosmism, what is wrong with our country right now? I don't know what is. well it also shows a lack of knowledge by the way i did google it and it does come up okay um the explanation comes up comes up from about two years ago when i was painting it and it comes up with me talking to a uh civil rights icon you have to google it oh wow civil rights icon i'm explaining this to uh but anyway um what it also shows is a lack of understanding why would somebody have Max Schmelling on their wall?
Starting point is 01:15:08 This is not the reason why I have him by any stretch of the imagination. Max Schmelling actually became friends with Joe Lewis. I don't know if people know that. He also hid Jewish people in his apartment against the Nazis. When he lost to Joe Lewis the second time, they became friends. and he was not a friend of Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler used him for propaganda, not a friend of Adolf Hitler.
Starting point is 01:15:45 In fact, it turns out he was an enemy of Adolf Hitler. So it turns out I have three, assuming that the ref was anti-Nazi, three anti-Nazis in that painting. But I want to thank Chris Hayes for making painting now a source of controversy so it would sell for more if I decide to ever sell it. It now is a famous controversial painting. I also would like to thank everybody involved. I was trending last night. This painting was trending last night on Twitter and I'd like to thank all of them for increasing the value and none of them questioning what hack painted it. Most of them said it was a picture. It's not. It's my painting of that scene.
Starting point is 01:16:31 but I guess everybody, you know, everybody loves to be an art critic. Nobody had any criticism for the artistic prowess of the artist that did it. So thank you for that, Chris Hayes. Amazing. You know, by the way, I did Google it, and you're right. It comes up with you explaining the painting. This is from eight months ago. You explaining exactly what it is.
Starting point is 01:17:01 Also, the clip of you this week comes up when you search for it. And it's like, what does that say about, wouldn't you just, isn't there a moment of embarrassment? This is what I don't understand about some of these people on the left. Isn't there a moment where you just feel dumb when you do something like that? Yeah, we do. I know, I do. I mean, everybody's made mistakes like that. I don't expect Chris Hayes to be able to watch every segment of your show and know.
Starting point is 01:17:25 And especially, but when there's ever something that is so outrageous, like if he had Stalin, you were just saying if he had Stalin behind him, I would go, there's something more than that. There's no way he's got Stalin behind it. What's the story? And I always feel stupid when I do stuff. And I always point it out when I do stuff like that. We'll see if Chris Hayes is a decent human being at all, you know,
Starting point is 01:17:49 and decides to correct himself and apologize to me to assume that I would have Nazi propaganda for a Nazi reason. All right. Let me tell you about our sponsor this half hour. it is my pillow. Amazing news. You're just a tiny bit of typing and a mouse clip
Starting point is 01:18:09 a click away from having the best night's sleep you're ever going to get. I've talked about my pillow, talked about all of their products. Their pillows are tremendous. I got the large, but I'm, you know, muscularly obese.
Starting point is 01:18:27 And all you do is you put two fists through the end of it. I don't know. how it works, but it stays fluffy and not hot all night. So you're not waking and tossing and turning all night. The best thing also is their dream sheets. They have Gaza dream sheets. Gaza dream sheets will blow your mind. The geesea dream sheets are very, very soft. The geese dream sheets now are on special. It's two for one, buy one, get to second free. It makes them unbelievably reasonable for honestly the best sheets I've ever slept on. That is.
Starting point is 01:19:00 is not hyperbole that is not in the copy points i'm supposed to say that is how i really feel the softest sheets i've ever slept on it's the geese at dream sheets use the promo code beck right now 800 nine six six 3117 800 nine six 3117 get these great radio specials at my pillow dot com this is the glenbeck program we're really glad you're here i think i have about exhausted my voice today, but I have Michael Malice on next. I also have somebody who is great. Stu, you had on last night talking about January, January 6th and just taking it apart piece by piece. Ben Wyarton? Was it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I had him on last night. They did a really interesting thing over there at real clear investigations where, you know, I think a lot of conservatives have
Starting point is 01:20:27 made this point and said, like, you know, what's worse? January 6th or the George Floyd riots? And they're different events, but I think, you know, really both bad and why don't we treat them both like they were really bad things? And how do we compare them? How do we understand them? Well, they went through and did all the background research and decided to find out the scale of both of these events, as well as some others, to try to compare so we can have some sort of of understanding as to which which situation was bigger, bigger effect to the country.
Starting point is 01:20:59 It's pretty amazing stuff. We have that coming up. Do not miss a second of today's program. This is the Glenn Back program. This last hour is going to challenge everything you think you know. Two great people going to join us this half hour. One is Benjamin Weingarten, a good friend of ours. and from real clear investigations, he has looked at all of the worst things, 9-11, Pearl Harbor,
Starting point is 01:22:39 and he's compared them, you know, the stat for stats on how they've changed things in America. Oh, I think it's, I think that January 6th doesn't even rank, but we'll get that coming up in a minute. And a good friend, somebody I disagree with a lot, but is so challenging to your thinking, it is always a fun exercise and honestly he's just hysterically funny Michael Malice joins us in 60 seconds all right let's talk a little bit about our Stu can you do these because I am about to lose my voice yeah no we're talking to a little bit about Patriot mobile this is a company we love because you're talking about a company that has stepped up in ways that many others have not. And if you have a big time, these companies that come out and they say, oh, we are the best,
Starting point is 01:23:39 we are the biggest. We care about you, the big name mobile companies. You have one of those and they're likely donating part of the money. You're sending them every month to causes that you completely disagree with. And you have to wonder and ask yourself, why am I doing that? Do I want that to keep happening. They are, you know, on the same towers as Patriot Mobile. The service is as good or better with Patriot Mobile. And Patriot Mobile says, you know what? We're going to donate a portion of our, of the money we take in for the bill to
Starting point is 01:24:13 conservative causes, conservative causes. They're admitting it. Everyone else runs from conservatives. Like they can't, they don't want to be associated with them. Patriot Mobile is saying, this is who we are. We are going to try to stop these things. are happening in our country that you don't agree with. Why fund them when you can help stop them?
Starting point is 01:24:31 Go to Patriotmobile.com slash Beck or call 972 Patriot. You get free activation with the offer code Beck. Veterans and first responders save even more so you can make the switch today and support a company that loves America, loves you and shares your values. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. It's PatriotMobile.com slash Beck or call them 972 Patriot. Michael Malice joining us. Before I get there, I just want to say,
Starting point is 01:24:59 because last night, the painting that I did of Joe Lewis being knocked out by Max Schmelling called, that I call it, the birth of a champion, was trending last night because it was on during an interview with Donald Trump. And they're calling it Nazi propaganda. Couldn't be further from the truth. I've said that I'm not going to sell this. There's one person I would sell this to. I would sell it to Joe Rogan because he would appreciate the, the message in this.
Starting point is 01:25:32 If Joe wants to buy it, great. Otherwise, I'm keeping the original. But I am going to today, I'm asking somebody to come over, you know, with a mask and gloves and get it and copy it because I am going to sell prints of this. Because it's, you know, that controversial Nazi painting by Glenn Beck, which has nothing to do with that. It has everything to do to do with learn your lessons, stand back up and knock that guy out. All right, Michael Malice is with us. Hi, Michael. Good morning. How are you, sir?
Starting point is 01:26:06 I'm much better than you. My condolences on your illness. And whatever you think, I promise you, it's not karma. It might be. It might be. Oh, you know, I had it before there was a vaccine, so I've been riding on the antibodies. And I just got it, what, Wednesday? I just, it hit me like a bag of bricks. But now, with an exception of just some lingering mouth problems with my voice, I'm pretty much past it.
Starting point is 01:26:37 I mean, the first time I had it, it knocked me out for about three weeks. This is just like a really, really bad cold this time. Yeah, too, my friends have gotten over the weekend. And it's a scary word, you know, like I was feeling a little bit under weather last week. And I'm like, is this it? Is this, you know, at the showtime? And it was just kind of. of allergies, whatever, but it gets scary.
Starting point is 01:26:59 And I hope everyone listening, you know, stays healthy and happy, of course. Yeah. Michael, I don't know if you heard this, Glenn talking about the backstory of this painting that he did of Joe Lewis and Max Schmelling. And this reaction from Chris Hayes of MSNBC, and, you know, to be fair, tons of other people on the left, he, they see this painting in the background of one of his interviews. They say, oh, my gosh, he's got Nazi propaganda up there because this is when Max Schmelling had beaten Joe Lewis. And any simple Googling gets you to the explanation as to what this painting
Starting point is 01:27:34 is that Glenn's praising, you know, like you have a failure and that turns your life around. And that's the important moment when you fail that leads to success in the future. And, you know, you've talked about the media really well over the years and you, I think, understand this better than so many others. What is the motivation here? Like, why would you embarrass yourself and not even look for the facts here? Why just attack your opponent? without any knowledge, whether you're right or wrong. Literally, with a Google search. I'm going to give you two answers.
Starting point is 01:28:05 First, I'm going to play devil's advocate because I think you guys remember it was like a year ago when former Senate candidate Harold Ford was staying at an Airbnb, and behind him on the wall was Andy Warhol's page of Chairman Mao. And Warhol meant it as a spingerer to Mao as an example of how Mao had become a quote-unquote celebrity in the same way that Borahawk painted. Elizabeth Taylor and Malin-Roe, and all the conservatives were freaking out that this was communist propaganda, even though it wasn't his house, and even though it would have been a simple
Starting point is 01:28:35 Googling. So that's number one. This goes, people misunderstand art very easily. The whole point of art is that it's open to interpretation. And the other problem is, people who are corporate journalists are often not very bright. So they are going to have that knee-jerk reaction. But as you guys have seen, as everyone listening to this knows, the demand for Nazis outweighs the supply.
Starting point is 01:28:57 There is such desperation on the part of, you know, corporate media outlets to find Nazis that they're looking for them everywhere to the point where people are often painting, you know, fascist slogans to demonstrate that there's fascism and they're later caught and they're often, you know, minority. So you're saying this is Nazi inflation. too many Nazi hunters chasing too few Nazis. I mean, we laugh, but I mean, it would be a very serious problem. And it's not to pretend that there are no quasi-fascist in American culture.
Starting point is 01:29:36 And certainly in Europe nowadays. But the premise that Glenn Beck would be dumb enough to sit in front of a Nazi painting while he's interviewing a president and have that be some kind of subtle dog whistle that no one's going to pick up, that is what's amazing. They have a complete lack of ability to empathize with other perspectives, and they're just waiting in every moment for the mask to drop, so to speak, which is kind of a bit of projection. And you saw this also with, you know, the Trump's Charlottesville speech, where when he condemned white nationally in the same breath when he said both sides, the clip is there. It's indisputable, but, you know, President Biden
Starting point is 01:30:19 brings it up to this day. So what is your take on Daniel FDICs? I think that's the biggest period of the week. He's kind of a little bit there, Michael, but he said, what's your take on January 6th if that didn't come through? Oh, yeah. So, I mean,
Starting point is 01:30:35 it's very tragic. AOC had to talk to a cop for five minutes and she was traumatized for months. Rashida Tullab, remember, was crying on the floor of the house. AOC had to comfort her. There was some bottles of water knocked over. someone had his feet up on Pelosi's death.
Starting point is 01:30:52 Here's my takeaway, and I'm going to get a little bit serious for a minute. Where has President Trump been? He defended the people. When he was giving that Charlotte'sville speech, the people when he said there's good people on both sides, he was referring to the controversy about removing statues. That's where he was defending. The people were saying we shouldn't remove statues. The people on January 6th were his people.
Starting point is 01:31:15 They were all his people. These were his hardcore supporters. Now they're being held. in detention in horrible conditions for who knows how long. They are his hardcore supporters, and he shrugs his shoulders. And I think this is the big problem that conservatives have to appreciate when it comes to Donald Trump. We had four years of President Trump being attacked for the most demented things imaginable,
Starting point is 01:31:39 including how many scoops of ice cream he had, that he fed the fish wrong when he was in Japan, even though he was following the prime minister's lead. Queen Elizabeth gestured for him to walk in front of her, which he did. Then she couldn't get around him because he's a lot bigger. They cropped the first part where she gestured. So it looks like he just stood in front of her like a buffoon. So we had four years of that. So understandably, conservatives got protective and defensive of President Trump.
Starting point is 01:32:06 He's not in office now. It's been a year. And I would encourage conservatives take a step back and realize not every criticism of President Trump has been inaccurate. it because the man has shown a severe lack of loyalty towards people who have been loyal to him. And I'm thinking specifically with Michael Flynn, and I'm thinking especially of Jeff Sessions, who was probably the strongest anti-illegal immigrant person in the Senate, became Attorney General. Because of him, Trump got him primaried, and he blew a Senate seat in Alabama. How does that happen?
Starting point is 01:32:39 So if people are looking forward to 2024, keep in mind, this guy, loyalty is a one-way street, and that's a big problem because conservatives tend to be very, very loyal people. I agree with that. We were just talking about how loyalty is number one. I know you know the Jonathan Haidt book, but loyalty is number one on the scale. And it's interesting because I do think that that is the number one thing with Donald Trump is loyalty. And in talking to him, You know, I just sat down with him about a month ago, and then I had dinner with him and his wife. And I came away with the impression, and this is just from, you know, the off the record, just dinner conversation. I came away from that meeting feeling as though the truly the main reason he would run again is because he doesn't want to let the people down that he trusted and said, I will do this.
Starting point is 01:33:40 and then was doing it and then lost, and he knows he can fix it. And he expressed it in several different ways, but it was the same thing. I'm not going to leave those people without anyone who will fight for them. Let's bring some receipts. When President Trump got into office, the federal budget was $4 trillion under Obama. Two years later, before COVID, it was $4.4 trillion, an increase of 10% under his watch. He promised when he campaigned, and this was a very legitimate promise from his background, that he knew the best people, and he was going to staff his cabinet with the best people.
Starting point is 01:34:28 And we thought he was going to bring in all these outsiders, people you'd never expect to see in politics. And the next thing you know, it's Rens Previs, and the chairman of Exxon is the Secretary of state. His staffing decisions, I think everyone has to acknowledge, were horrible. He's driving out people who had left a mind like Steve Bannon, and he's bringing in the swamp creatures.
Starting point is 01:34:50 All right, so let me just push back on that, because I'd like to hear your opinion on it. In the interview I did, I said you got a clean house. And he talked about the, you know, he had two jobs to fix the country,
Starting point is 01:35:07 and to survive. And he said, I can't go in there with the same GOP. I can't go in there with the same group of people. I have to have people around me that are on the same page because pretty much, I got to fire everybody in every department.
Starting point is 01:35:25 And I think he gets that. I've talked to people who are inside the administration before, and they said the one mistake that they made was they underestimated the power of all of these long-term bureaucrats and the Republican Party, that they would be so against him. And he's not going to repeat that. Now, I don't know who he staffs it with and who he gets to have the balls to run some of these things to fire or shut down these departments.
Starting point is 01:35:56 But that's what it's going to take one way or another. I love to hear your response coming up in one minute. Let me take one minute, 60 seconds to tell you about our sponsor this half. this half hour. Who is it, Sto? It is a gold line. It's gold line.
Starting point is 01:36:14 Yeah. Goldline is, we've been talking about the problems with inflation quite a bit over the past few weeks. Yeah. Goldline, you know, it's been around for a long time.
Starting point is 01:36:23 They've been doing this, you know, better than anybody for a really long time. And, you know, the inflation, of course, is already here. We've seen it. I mean,
Starting point is 01:36:31 you've talked about it, Glenn, from everywhere from cars to groceries. I mean, it's all over the place and it's not transitory. Michael, right. And Michael just. talked about it. I mean, you know, 10% increase on our national debt. What is it now? I mean,
Starting point is 01:36:43 are we over $30 trillion yet? I think we are, aren't we? I mean, nobody's talking about our debt. It is out of control, out of control. And they're using modern monetary theory to get through this. It won't work. It never has worked. And read in The Great Reset, my book that comes out next week, it talks about what the second part of modern monetary theory is. And that's just controlling everything. It's coming. And the answer is spread out your risk. And one of the things you should invest in is gold or silver because the world always, when it comes back to its senses from insanity, it always returns to physical gold. If that's not enough reason for you to get moving, Goldline has an extremely small quantity of their holiday silver rounds and their special mind-your-business
Starting point is 01:37:34 silver bars left over from their Christmas promotion, please call them ASAP to find out how to qualify for the free silver call 1866 Goldline. It's 866 Goldline or go to goldline.com. 10 second station ID. So if you don't
Starting point is 01:38:03 know who Michael Malice is, he is the guy who's written the anarchist handbook. He is an anarchist, but not the Antifa throw bombs through windows kind of anarchic. Am I right on that? Michael, please verify. that.
Starting point is 01:38:18 Not through windows, but, you know. He believes that if there were no government, we'd all be better off. I disagree with that, but I lean towards, in fact, I don't lean towards, I'd like to shut down all of the department of fill in the blank. I'd like them all to be gone. They have no, they have no place in our,
Starting point is 01:38:47 in our government, in my opinion. So Michael is coming from a different place, but I like that because he makes me think things through and pushes me up against the wall. So I question the things that I think I believe. I think that's really important. So Michael, your response on what I just said here about a minute ago. Right. So you were talking about how President Trump said to you that he understands he has to,
Starting point is 01:39:14 you know, fire a lot of these staffers and bring in good people. my pushback would be like, does he understand this or does he understand what he needs to say to you in order to maintain your support in the next cycle? And here's the evidence to the contrary. There's somebody called revealed preferences, right? If you tell your spouse, I love you, I love you, I love you, but you're never home and you're cheating on them. Talk is cheap. Your actions are telling.
Starting point is 01:39:39 Trump is launching a social media company. Who did he hire to run the social media company? Devin Nunes. Devin Nunes' entire background is being one, a dairy farmer and then a congressman. What does he know about running a social media company? All he knows is he has a roll-edex in Washington. He's a creature of the swamp. Now, he might be a great conservative.
Starting point is 01:40:00 I'm sure he's a very ethical, great person, so on and so forth. But to say that he's some kind of outsider is nonsensical. So Trump had the opportunity to, and the other thing is, and this is not his fault, he's been rendered so radioactive. Why would I, if I was working in Wall Street, San Francisco, L.A., New York, why would I want working on the Trump administration on my resume? It would ruin my career. And again, this is not Trump's fault at all.
Starting point is 01:40:30 But that has been an issue for him in the past. And going forward, it's going to be even more of an issue. Yeah, I do agree with that. It is going to be hard to get people. And then that is, you know, we have to have people who, understand where we are in our society. It is, look, it's almost lights out time. And, you know, maybe we deserve it because we have taken this for granted for so long. And we've been running on other generations vapors for so long. And we've become this monstrosity that is all
Starting point is 01:41:07 run in Washington. So maybe we deserve it. But I think the original premise is, worth saving. I don't know where he gets those people. I mean, you know, you look at David Nunes, you see him as an insider. I see him as an insider outsider. You know what I mean? He's a guy who's been there who doesn't like the way it's running and has been standing up for it. It's a little like Rand Paul. Yes, he's in, but he's working hard from within to try to shut it down. Are those people important or are the same? They're very important. They're very important. I'm not questioning that at all, but my point to you is, what evidence do you have that Devin Nunes knows anything about social media? Now, it's so, it's run. So it's clear that Trump
Starting point is 01:41:53 got him as he hires most of his people because of a sense of loyalty to him. Now, that's very important because he's been betrayed left and right. But my point is he's, because of all the forces against him, concerned have to appreciate, he got beaten by a corpse in the 2020 election. And these same forces are now even more powerful because they have the White House. And you can't tell me that he shouldn't have seen it coming all the machinations that the Democrats did in various states to finagle the vote to make sure they got the result they wanted. There was that Time magazine article bragging about these coalitions that was behind the scenes. Molly Hemingway did a great book called Rig discussing it.
Starting point is 01:42:33 It's nothing to the voting machines. It had to do it with a year-long series of attempts including things by Mark Zubman. to get the result. I agree with you. Michael Malice, thanks for stopping in. Michael Malice. You can follow him at Michael Malice. Back in a minute.
Starting point is 01:42:53 The Glenn Back. All right, let me tell you about the Tuttle Twins, a series of books that I just think should be on every parent and grandparents' shelf. Yeah, they're on my shelves with our kids. I have an eight and a 10-year-old. I don't know what the exact age range is for the Tuttle Twins books. I mean, really...
Starting point is 01:43:14 Anywhere from... anywhere from six to 12 probably and then they have things for teenagers and young adults as well. Yeah, they're great because they don't come off as preachy. You know, I know as a parent, I want my kids to be able to understand the foundations that the country was built on. The principles that we talk about every single day, but they're not going to listen to me blabbing about them, especially when they're... Yeah, exactly. It just doesn't happen. They don't do it with me either.
Starting point is 01:43:43 Right. It's just no kid wants to listen to their parents. But Tuttle Twins books are great stories that have these principles kind of built into them. And it's a fantastic series of books. They're having a great sale now, 35% discount off their books. Plus, they're giving away the activity workbooks, no additional cost. It's a big discount off the normal price. Go to Tuttle Twinsbeck.com.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. I am about to lose my voice entirely, and I want to make sure that I am full-throated for next week. The new book comes out on the Great Reset. But the biggest story this week had to be about the candlelight vigil they had at the
Starting point is 01:44:49 on the stairs of the Capitol last night. commemorating all those that, well, no, because nobody died except a Marine that was on the opposing side. So I don't know what the candles were lit for because they certainly were not highlighting her. They are trying to make this into another 1941 or 9-11, and it's despicable. Yesterday on Sto's show, he had Benjamin Weingarten, on a very dear friend of ours and brilliant guy who has done a little investigation into that claim. Ben, I don't think anybody can hear me. We can hear you, but Ben might not be able to.
Starting point is 01:45:38 Ben, you're there? Yep, yep, I'm here, guys. Okay, there he is. Ben We kind of mentioned your study here, Ben, talking about the differences between the 2020 Floyd riots and the 2021 January 6th, riot. And it's a point that conservatives have made many times and that there was no, there was no real focus on this. In fact, it was, we saw it praised by the left, these riots that were going on. And many times we pointed out, there's a, there's a discrepancy here. Why aren't
Starting point is 01:46:11 these both being treated equally? You went through and tried to quantify this. Can you tell us about the process of putting all this together? Yeah, the whole objective of this was to fill in the gap that the media and our political class has created in terms of their total inability and unwillingness to express the United States for self bail funds at the Capitol versus the summer 2020 riots sourcement documents institutions. Yeah, Ben, let's start with the scope of this because, you know, sure there's a symbolism of the Capitol that I think is separate from these, from one of these other incidents. I will say you also go through the 2017 inauguration riot, which people basically forget about, and show that that's much closer to the scale of
Starting point is 01:48:29 the Capitol riot and has a lot of the same symbolism attached to it. But kind of give me the difference in scale between these two events. You have January 6th and the 2020 George Floyd riots. Yeah, so the headline numbers, I think, are these. First, the summer 2020 riots resulted in 15 times more injured police officers, one of whom, of course, disparity here. 1300 times more costly was the damage of the summer 2020 riots, one to two billion dollars in damages there versus approximately one and a half million in an event that's compared to 9-11 per.
Starting point is 01:49:18 It's been made to try to marshal the idea that this event is somehow on the level. But it really falls apart when you look at the casualties, the fatalities, the damage that was done. And then you look at the, what I would argue is an egregious double standard injustice here of cases being dismissed in mass up to 90 plus percent of citations or charges drops dismissed or not filed in at least a dozen major jurisdictions across the country. So all the low-level cases essentially gone, wiped clean. Where there have been 700 plus people hit with charges, the vast majority of which are misdemeanors,
Starting point is 01:50:08 all of one case has been kicked. And dozens of people have been held in pretrial detention for months. and some of them will spend over a year in jail before ever hearing their case in what have been alleged to be abusive conditions, people have in solitary confinement for 20-plus hours. And I think the big takeaway, one last point I'll make briefly, is a judge, the chief judge of the D.C. District Court, where these cases are being hurt, right in Justice Department, its prosecutors, with a line, and I think this is a verbatim quote here, you're trying to resolve the crime of the century with clad.
Starting point is 01:50:45 unintentionally, that is the most telling line of the whole case, a case in which, of course, not one person has been hit with a charge of terrorism, insurrection, treason, sedition, persecution does not match the legal prosecution. Yeah, I think that's one of the big things that's interesting, because if it is this crime of the century, this is not how they would handle it. And, you know, that's not to minimize it. I think it's really about just getting scale and appropriate perspective on all of these events together. It's not to say that January 6th was nothing. It's just to say that, you know,
Starting point is 01:51:24 the summer of 2020 was also not nothing. It was something that was really, really important in our country. And in a way, I think went a good distance in normalizing political violence all over the place. It, you know, it created a climate where we just kind of approve of this stuff and it seemed to be okay. Half the country was saying, you know what, you can't really. You know, what? You can't criticize it, and that leads to January 6th types of events all around the country if you don't get it under control. And to your point, it's not to minimize what happened. It's to say, let's look at it openly and honestly after January 6th in the Federalist,
Starting point is 01:52:14 organizing events and are accused of essentially glorified trespassing, parading, which I think might be the parts of the time. The top of the time of the summer 2020 riots, and it's been a massive surge in violent crime in cities worth mentioning. Yeah, it's amazing, too, to see when you talk about After Effects, it's not like there's been a rush of an increase in membership of QAnon since January 6th, right? Like, it's gone the opposite way. I think, you know, people realize a lot of that stuff was not true.
Starting point is 01:54:17 And, you know, the same thing with, like, some of these organizations like Proud Boys and everything else. There hasn't been a rush for people to join those organizations. On the other hand, the fallout from the 2020 George Floyd riots has been a massive increase in funding. to the organizations who led the riots. The people who were out there organizing the marches that led to, you know, buildings being burned to the ground are now getting billions and billions of dollars a year in donations from large corporations. That is not at all what has happened after January 6th, thankfully.
Starting point is 01:54:50 You know, this has turned into an industry where groups, companies as big as Nike are out there endorsing the same groups that were endorsing these riots. It's been the ultimate social justice shakedown. To your point, it's billions of dollars, tens of billions of dollars, funding a woke anti-cultural revolution that's rolled through a country and that's now backed with the full power of the federal government. And to tie it all together to put a nice, well, terrible bow on all of this, of course, we found out that the vigil organizer last night herself had been tied to threats against
Starting point is 01:55:26 Josh Hawley's family on the eve of January 6th, as well as other acts. of political violence that she and the group she's associated with have been tied to those left-wing act of political violence. So of course, that's the premier vigil organizer last night, so somber, so serious, so concerned about the state of our democracy, i.e. their power. Absolutely incredible. I encourage you to check out the work, Ben Weingarten for real clear investigations. Because you also got to check out the 2017 inauguration riot. We didn't have a chance to get to that here. But it's important to look at all of this stuff. and how they compare.
Starting point is 01:56:02 And finally, somebody's gone through and done the hard work to put all this together. Ben Weingarten, you can get his work. I'll tweet it out as well at Studeau's America. And you can follow Ben as well on Twitter. Ben, thanks so much for coming on, man. I appreciate it. Thank you, Pat. All right.

AAA 727 Beck is the number tonight on Studios America. We'll have kind of an update on the... the situation with kids and how they're being affected by these COVID policies. It's been really a devastating time for kids.
Starting point is 01:58:04 And for some reason, we as a country have decided, you know what is a good idea? We should put all of the burden on children without any of the benefit for children when it comes to these policies. So even if these policies were to work, we've now decided as a nation we're going to format our country. as one that puts children in control of the health of adults. We put them through all of these restrictions to protect older people. And like maybe there's some tradeoff there we could handle, but the tradeoff is much too high now. We'll get into that a little bit later on tonight.
Starting point is 01:58:47 We're seeing right now in the Supreme Court, they are talking and doing oral arguments about the vaccine mandate, a couple of different. ones. One is the big Biden private business mandate where every company over 100 people would have to implement a vaccine mandate or test once a week and wear masks if you happen to be unvaccinated. That's going to the Supreme Court. Not for the full argument. They're not trying to decide, you know, who wins and who loses. They're talking about whether the policy can be in place while they figure out who wins and who loses. But of course, this is a massive deal. If they allow this to go into place until
Starting point is 01:59:27 until the, it winds all the, you know, all the way through the system, you're going to have a situation where this policy is going to be put into effect by most large companies and be the state of affairs either way. So this is really important. It's going on right now. And the arguments are interesting. You know, for example, Sotomayor is saying that many kids are on ventilators from COVID. Now, no one who knows anything about this situation believes that's accurate, which leads you to believe that Sonia Sotomayor, with a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, knows nothing about the subject she's talking about.
Starting point is 02:00:09 It's not zero kids. We obviously have seen some children have been affected, but generally speaking, and overwhelmingly so, you know, something like drowning is killing more people that are children than COVID is. also Sotomayor has said today that Omicron is as deadly as Delta well every single piece of information that we have says that it's not every single study we have seen so far on Omicron says the opposite of that which is fascinating it's not as deadly it doesn't mean it's not going to be a big deal it's more infectious so more people will be hit with it but they have less of a chance to die as individuals. And she also asked this question,
Starting point is 02:00:54 and I think today you may want to ponder this in a quiet moment. She asked, quote, why is a human spewing a virus not like a machine spewing sparks? A lot of times we tend to group the left side of the court together
Starting point is 02:01:14 and just say the liberals on the court. It's important to note that Sotomayor is... She's a special one. She... She's really... She's really dumb compared to everybody else sitting there. She's...
Starting point is 02:01:30 Kagan might... I might disagree with Kagan, but she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. Sotomayor just seems like a moron. AAA 727 back. We'll see you tomorrow. The Glenn Back program.
