Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello America and welcome to the Glenn Beck program. It is Thursday. Last night we had an incredible, incredible show. And we exposed the dangerous, dangerous lives that the media is spinning that are really hurting our kids. And what the truth is on the coronavirus and hydroxychloroquine. we had a doctor on last night who is really well credentialed. And she's not taking this sitting down. She didn't want to come out.
Starting point is 00:00:38 But as she told me off the air, really disturbed. She said, I said, take care of yourself. She said, I'm, I just, it's one thing to know that you're going to be targeted. but the machine that is built now just to destroy anybody who speaks out against the machine, she said is phenomenal. She said, but this is my country too, and I'm going to stand up. She is incredibly brave, and you need to hear from her. I spent about eight minutes with her last night, which was not nearly enough,
Starting point is 00:01:16 and I said, come on tomorrow and just go. because she really needs to be heard. You will hear her on today's broadcast, and we begin in 60 seconds. This is the Glenn Beck program. So Heather is one of our listeners. She's in Louisiana. She's a police officer.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Oh my gosh. How could you have a listener that is a police officer? Heather, we stand beside you, in front of you, and behind you. To stay fit for her job, she spends a fair amount of time in the gym. It's not how I choose to live my life, but who am I to judge? Anyway, she's been taking relief factor now for over two years for her own aches and pains in the gym, and it always has kept the pain at bay for.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Recently, fellow officers she worked out with began complaining about his own aches and pains, and you know what, Heather did? Heather actually shared her relief factor packets. I mean, me, I would just say, hey, you know you can buy these online. but she's, you know, more giving than me, because that's the kind of people police officers are. So he tried them and you know what? Worked for him as well. Pretty soon his aches and pains were gone as well.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Both of them got their life back. And this is not a drug developed by doctors, but not a drug. It's all natural. The people who try it 70% find relief and they go on to order more month after month because it works. So go to Relieffactor.com or call 800, 583, 84. 800, 500, 583, 84. It's relieffactor.com. That's relieffactor.com.
Starting point is 00:03:04 So I would, I'd just like to, I'd just like to start with Joe Biden. Yesterday, yesterday, we are, we are running right now. The Democrats are running. My grandfather, who ended up on the freeway with his lawnmower. Okay. He was on the freeway driving his lawnmower, okay? And that's exactly who the Democrats are elected. I could totally see Biden on the campaign trail.
Starting point is 00:03:39 They should put like banners on him a lawnmower and just have him drive it around. And that's probably the best chance he has to win. That is really who we're running here. Listen to him yesterday as he comes out to speak at this empty auditorium in Delaware. Listen to this. Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome the Kingswood Community Center. Actually, that's the one down I used to work.
Starting point is 00:04:08 It's a joke. You didn't know where he were anyway. What? He is, he's lost his mind. He is, he is one lawnmower away from everyone going, okay, come on. Yeah. Just come on. I mean, that's a bad moment.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Because it's not even like, oh, geez, you know, it's like, the hello Cleveland. Oh, wait, we're in where? We're in, you know, we're in Miami. Like that thing that rock stars do because they travel so much. An understandable mistake. It's not that. He's saying, oh, no, I'm confusing this with a place I used to work. That is not how a brain works, like in an, it's working well.
Starting point is 00:04:46 Really? Like, someone connected, you know, someone connected the gas tank to the tire of the car. And it's not going to work. when you put the gas. I've filled the tires up with gasoline. We're ready for the trip. That's a scary. I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:04 all getting aside, that's a freaking scary moment. It really is, especially if you happen to be watching us. Play it again. If you happen to be watching us, you can see the look on his face. He has no idea.
Starting point is 00:05:17 He realizes after he says that, oh, crap, that's not what this place is. And it's worse than, you know, usually when he would when he would make these gaffs and it was the beginning stages of dementia he would he would cover it fairly well it's getting worse and worse this one is dear and headlights oh dear god i don't know where i am i'm oh i'm i'm not at the place that i used to
Starting point is 00:05:48 work it's bizarre watch this again good afternoon everyone Welcome the Kingswood Community Center. Actually, that's the one down I used to work. It's a joke. You didn't know where he were anyway. I mean, that's a bad moment. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, I mean, the fact that he's trying to, you know, you could tell he's still at the point
Starting point is 00:06:13 where he's realizing that this is going on because he says, uh, that's a joke. Now, that's not a joke. It's not, that's not a funny joke, obviously. He just made a mistake. And, you know, Glenn, I think you've had relatives who have gone through this. I have. And one of the things. things you notice right away when they're legitimately going through a situation, whether it's
Starting point is 00:06:32 dementia or, you know, Alzheimer's or one of these terrible, scary things is they constantly refer to things much earlier in their life as if they're happening now. Like, I've noticed that from several relatives who have gone through this. They'll be talking to you about something you're doing right now and they'll be like, oh, it's when I saw, you know, Betty. You know, Betty, remember Betty? It's like, well, we haven't seen Betty in 30 years. You know what I mean? It's that type of stuff. I mean, That is like, that sounds exactly like someone who's at the very beginning stages of this. And I know we at times joke about it and laugh about it, but that is, that really feels like at least every single person I've ever interacted with that has been going through this type of situation. That is scary.
Starting point is 00:07:14 I think this is scary for him. I think this is really sad for him. I actually feel really bad that nobody in his family is willing to say, hey, hey, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad. Dad, Dad, Dad, Dad. No one is comfortable enough to say, for the love of God, leave my father alone. He spent his whole life serving the nation. You're just using him to get elected. You know he's not going to be the president of the United States.
Starting point is 00:07:48 There's no way this guy survives his first term. There's just no way. And I don't mean that he would die. I mean that there's no way he finishes it. There's no way he finishes his term unless they just keep him like Woodrow Wilson sealed in the White House and not making any public statements because he's clearly not all there. It's bad. And it's why we are a few days away from, I think, the most consequential vice presidential announcement of all time. I mean, this is someone who very likely will.
Starting point is 00:08:25 be president of the United States if they win. It's got to be Kamala Harris. Got to be Kamala Harris. Why? Again, Kamala is like, there are things to like about her. We talked about it back, I don't mean, I mean as a candidate, I don't like her any of her policies, but as a candidate,
Starting point is 00:08:39 you can see why she would be, she would be a good one. I did this on Stu Does America last night, where we went through all the different options. And Kamala, like, checks off the two most important boxes for the Democrats. One is her skin color. and two is her genitals. She has the correct type of genitals that makes it so she's allowed to become vice president
Starting point is 00:09:00 because they've said it will only be a woman and they will not even consider a man. But look, she has shown taken fawning media coverage and a big lead in the primary and could not perform under those circumstances. Her only really good moment of the campaign was calling Joe Biden a racist. And not to mention. she's well known for being a prosecutor and having all sorts of problems with the left. And here we are in the middle of defund the cops and they're going to put a prosecutor on there. Now, I think that might be a smart move just because it may alleviate some of the concerns of the middle.
Starting point is 00:09:42 And that may be the strategy. And I think that is the strategy. You put somebody else that doesn't have a law and order kind of background. in there. You're not going to get anybody in the middle. You're just not. You know. Do you think the Susan Rice thing is for real? He apparently loves her. But I mean, she hears someone who's only known for her involvement in various scandals. I mean, the American people don't know her at all other than Benghazi and spying on the Trump administration. I don't know why that's a solid pick. I don't think she's, I don't think she's going to be selected. See, I think it's going to be
Starting point is 00:10:20 Kamala Harris. And it's Kamala. You've got to remember, you're losing your Kamala, whatever. Your pronunciation for the primary. You know, the other one I think has some possibility would be Tammy Duckworth, who has a really good personal story. And I mean, you know, she's the first double amputee from Iraq that was female. She, I mean, you could argue legitimate, like, war hero type who has done a lot and also was the first woman
Starting point is 00:10:47 to give birth while in office, which I think she should have gone to the hospital personally. I don't know why you would do it the office. She, well, she might be taking notes from Louis Gomer. That's just fairly not the right thing.
Starting point is 00:11:01 We're talking to him later. We got to ask him, maybe it's time to, to adjust some of the practices of Louis as he's tested positive for COVID. Louis, what is up? Now he says he has no symptoms, yada,
Starting point is 00:11:14 yada, but he tested positive. Now they're making it into a big scandal that he never wore a mask and he told all of the kids in, his office not to wear masks. I think that's Louis Gohmert being funny. I don't think Louis Gobert is the guy who's like, you will not wear a mask in my office. He's the kind of guy who would do exactly what I would do. And that would be, really? You're 20 and you're worried about really? How about me? I'm an old man.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Okay. What do you wear in the mask for? I would give people crap, but it wouldn't mean that I was against the mask. Now, he may be against masks, but there's some really stupid, stupid stories coming out about Louis Gohmert. And we're going to be talking to him coming up in just a second. I want to give you one more story here before the break. Listen to this headline and listen to this story. More Seattle area residents selling their homes leaving the area. This is from Como News, KOMO News in Seattle.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Now, what do you think immediately when you hear that headlines, Stu? More people are selling their homes to move out of the Seattle area. I mean, you know, of course. I guess you just think people don't want to be residents of Chas, essentially. Yeah, okay. All right. The report by Seattle-based online residential real estate company Redfin found the number of homes sellers looking to leave Seattle metro area has jumped 13. point seven percent.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Meanwhile, the net outflow of homeowners from Seattle has soared from 363 residents second quarter last year to 6,007 in the second quarter of this year. Almost 20 times. A jump of more, yeah, a jump of more than 1,500 percent. There are, now, listen, this is my favorite part. there are several reasons for the huge increase in homeowners seeking to leave Seattle in their rearview mirror according to the report. I bet. Here's one.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Low mortgage rates and charges in what people want in a home or changes in what people want a home are providing an incentive to people who are already considering a move to other areas. Oh, really? Okay. Right. Right. Okay. Yeah. More Seattle area employers are offering flexible.
Starting point is 00:13:53 remote work policies which frees workers from having to live in this part of the country. Well, why wouldn't they want to live in this part of the country? I don't know. Well, it rains all the time. It does rain. Yeah. Yeah, it does. Uh-huh. But why are you living there in the first place? A significant percentage of people are looking to move from the Seattle area to a more affordable market or closer to family. A 1,500% increase in people fleeing. the city because, you know, I just want to be closer to family. They just really want to look next to their cousins really badly.
Starting point is 00:14:29 And here. Yeah. And here's, and here it is. Here's the last one. The coronavirus pandemic is preventing Seattle area residents from fully enjoying the local amenities, which lowers their incentive to live here. Also, those amenities are on fire, so it's a little difficult to enjoy them for that reason, too.
Starting point is 00:14:48 I can't get any, I can't get any good clam chowder from Ivers. They're closed down and it's the coronavirus. Come on. Come on. It's unbelievable. There's not one mention. Not one mention. As we enter the second half of the year, I expect more people to move from one part of the country to another as the pandemic continues to influence people's priorities and lifestyles. Really? There's nothing. There is nothing about what's going on in the city. Nothing to do with Lawlessness.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Setting up a brand new country in the middle of their commute. None of that. Stoning the police to death and saying, there's no help for you, Seattle residents. You've been abandoned by your mayor and your governor. No help coming for you if you dial 911. This has nothing to do with it.
Starting point is 00:15:42 No. It has nothing to do with it. It's coronavirus. And, you know, they can't go down to Pike Place Market and, you know, grab some flying fish. That's because instead of the flying fish, they get hit with a flying bottle.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Or, you know, maybe a tire filled with gasoline from Grandpa Biden. You don't get run over by the Biden lawnmower. That's for sure. No, you sure don't. All right. Summer's here. And we're all just kind of like trying to look at our best for all the times, the very, very infrequent times that your mask can come off for just like 30 seconds.

We have a teacher that has started a movement for kids and country. And she says that, now this is going to come as a surprise to you, that teachers are not really teachers. They are now Marxist activists that are posing as teachers. and teachers unions for decades.
Starting point is 00:18:08 And they've been sneaking these activists into the teaching profession to the demise of our children, our schools, teaching profession, our country, our God, you name it. And she's had enough. And I think you really need to hear what she has to say. She's coming up in just a few minutes. And about a half an hour from now, I don't know if you saw the Wednesday night special last night. But you need to watch my shows on Wednesday night on Blaze TV. It's up now for On Demand. There's no way this one would have ever made it online.
Starting point is 00:18:47 We had an amazing, amazing guest last night that I've invited up on the show. We did all of the stats of what the media is lying about and how dangerous it is, especially when it comes to schools and suicides. I mean, we are breaking all records on suicides. Congratulations. Congratulations to our teachers' unions and all of the teen suicides that are happening because the kids are completely lost. By the way, congratulations to the Black Lives Matter people
Starting point is 00:19:25 for the assistant chief. Where was he? He was just promoted. I think it was it in Chicago. He committed suicide. Why? Why would you commit suicide? I can't imagine what kind of pressure would he be under. I mean, commit suicide.
Starting point is 00:19:42 What? Congratulations. These are deadly, deadly moves that are being made all in the name of science. And science has nothing to do with it. This woman is an emergency physician. She practices in Los Angeles, in the inner city. She also donates her time and practices for Native Americans. And she is also a Stanford graduate for law.
Starting point is 00:20:13 So she's a lawyer, too. She did not want to speak out. She knew, as she told me last night, she thought she knew what was going to happen to her. She said, it's worse than you can imagine when they set out to destroy you. she's hired an attorney to kind of protect her a bit. You need to hear her voice and what she's saying about how voices and doctors are now being silenced. There is grave fear in our medical community. It's got to stop or more people will die.
Starting point is 00:20:54 You need to hear her. She'll be on. We have the truth on the teachers. union next. Okay, take a deep breath. You managed to, you know, pull off safely to the side of the road and you turn the car off. Now what? That was an awful lot of smoke in an awful short period of time coming out of the front of your hood. Which little piece is going to cost you an arm and leg? Which are the, which are the pieces that fell out on the road that were probably not spare parts? What day did the warranty expire? Starting point is 00:22:20 Go to RadioVote.com. Radiovote.com and vote for Glenn. This is the Glenn Beck program. We have Ken Cuccinelli coming up in just a minute. He is with the Department of Homeland Security to talk about. what is what the heck is happening now have as the DHS surrendered our federal buildings they made a deal with Portland and they're going to be pulling out of Portland now this is the spin from the media so we will hear from him on what's really going on coming up in just a minute it's a big deal to
Starting point is 00:23:03 have him on there at Camp David today and they're not doing anything but they wanted to come on to this program and let you know exactly what's going on. He'll be joining us in just a few minutes. There is so much happening today that you need to know about. One of the things that we've been talking about recently is we are looking at teacher strikes soon. And these teachers strikes, now see if these, see if this, you find this incredible. The teacher strikes are, they're thinking about doing them in Texas and Florida.
Starting point is 00:23:41 And I think the other one was Georgia. And it's because those states are just completely out of control. And so they're talking about a teacher strike. And the teachers unions now are blocking the bid to go back to school because what they're saying is it's too unsafe, just too unsafe and inequality. And there needs to be, you know, the redistribution of wealth. I mean, they are, they are touting all of these Marxist principles. Defund the police. No, they want a police free zone in schools.
Starting point is 00:24:20 That's insanity. But the teachers are not really teachers because the unions have gone straight up Marxists. Now, Rebecca Friedrich, she taught in, I think, elementary schools for 28 years. She's the woman who brought the cage. to the Supreme Court that I don't want I don't want to support this teachers union. They don't support anything that I believe in and I don't want to be sending them my hard earned money. It was looking like she was going to win in the Supreme Court. Then it deadlocked because of the death of Scalia.
Starting point is 00:24:59 So now it's still sitting there. Well, she started for kids in country, an activist outlet. and she's also written a book standing up to Goliath. She is here to warn us about what is really happening with our kids and with our schools and teachers. Rebecca Friedrichs is with us now. Rebecca, how are you? Hey, good morning. I'm great.
Starting point is 00:25:25 How are you? Very good. Very good. I'm really tempted to say Friedrichs. Why isn't it Frodericks? But you may not remember that reference, so I won't do it. So, Rebecca, tell us, because I've been watching the teachers' unions and what they're coming out for, it is stunning how they are just embracing Marxism. How many of the teachers are involved in this?
Starting point is 00:25:51 How many of the teachers actually believe this? Yeah. So I, from my perspective, I am so glad that they're finally obvious about what they have been doing for decades on the inside of these unions. I actually stepped up as a union leader for a while, hoping to have fixed things from the inside. So I've been on the inside, and I can tell your listeners this. The quote-unquote teachers unions are not real teachers. They are hypocrites. They're play-acting, masquerading as teachers while brutalizing real teachers like me.
Starting point is 00:26:24 These Marxists have been posing as teachers and unions for decades, as I said, and they've been sneaking their activists into the teaching profession into every school across America to the great demise of our kids in our country. And so why are they doing this, as you said, to push their radical agenda? And you started the program talking about teacher strikes. Well, you also need to know that when our case went to the Supreme Court and then another case went behind our case. And by the way, that's second case won. So now every single teacher in the nation, every single government employee is free to stop paying these radical Marxist unions, and I hope they'll stop today, and I can tell them how to do that.
Starting point is 00:27:07 But they threatened at the United States Supreme Court to have massive labor unrest throughout the country if our case is one. What you're seeing is a gigantic teacher strike. It is a masquerade. It's a lie. And I just hope and pray that people will wake up and see that these people are not real teachers. They're dangerous, dangerous to our freedoms, to our republic.
Starting point is 00:27:33 and they're after our president, too. This is quite the charge. I happen to believe you. I read enough and I know. And I questioned in 2007 why the California Teachers Union all of a sudden said, oh, by the way, if you ever have stood in opposition of this country and were involved in any revolutionary activities or were a member of the Communist Party, you can join the union again. It's open for all of those people.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I wondered why they did that in 2007. We now know why they did. We know what their agenda is. Tell me quickly, if you are a teacher, how do you get out of it? Okay, so the first thing, easiest way for them to get out is go to our website. It's called for kids and country.org. Up at the menu bar, click on teacher, freedom, and protections. All the information they need is there.
Starting point is 00:28:28 We lead them directly to organizations that can help them opt out. We provide them a letter of what to write. We provide them a toolkit to answer all their questions. Most teachers are terrified. They think they really believe that the unions are a friend, that the unions their savior, that the unions are getting their raises. Look, teachers, these are all lies. They're not protecting you at all.
Starting point is 00:28:48 They're using you to fund a massive, angry, really Marxist agenda to destroy our freedoms and your profession, by the way. So they can just go to our website, get all they need, and get all the support they need to opt out, and they can do that today and never pay another penny to these unions. But really, you know what? We need to get, in my opinion,
Starting point is 00:29:10 it's so hard to reach all the teachers and all the other government employees who are funding this nightmare. That from my perspective, we need to make these folks illegal. We need to get them out of our government institutions because they are bringing great damage to the greatest country on Earth.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Well, you know who said that was FDR. FDR said there cannot ever be a union for government employees. It is immoral and unconstitutional and wrong. And he made a strong case for that, but we forgot all about that. How much of this is tied? Go ahead. I was just going to say that was one of our arguments at the Supreme Court was that when you place a union in a government position, the union is using their billions,
Starting point is 00:30:00 and it's billions and billions they collect every year tax-free. They use that money to put their favored politicians in office, which, by the way, are all far-left radical Democrats. They put those folks in office, and now the unions are negotiating with people they've placed into office. And who gets left out of the negotiations is the taxpayer who's funding the entire thing. All of that is unconstitutional and dangerous as well. So FDR was right.
Starting point is 00:30:28 I'm looking at Tom Cotton now, who is just being hammered to death for saying that schools should lose their funding if they're teaching the 1619 project. This goes back to the union pressure. This goes back to the teachers' unions, the money that is involved, and the radicalism that is in our schools. Most people don't understand your kids, COVID may be a blessing. your kids don't stand a chance of believing in America or even knowing the truth of history or even mathematics at this point because of what's happening with our teachers. You are 100% correct. And the day COVID hit and the schools closed down, I'm very sad for anyone harmed by this. But when the school's closed, I said, thank you, God.
Starting point is 00:31:23 This is an answer to our prayers. we've been asking the Lord to rescue our children and our teachers from our public schools. Our schools were never meant to be these public government-run institutions. And as far as the 1619 project goes, the National Education Association is 100% behind that. I wrote an editorial in the Washington Times about a month ago on this topic that people can read. The unions are purposely thwarting, distorting history. They are the ones behind distorting science. They have changed the scientific method to undermine real science and push fake science.
Starting point is 00:32:00 They are sexualizing your children in our schools. You can learn about that on our website too, and I've written about that extensively. Our public schools have become a dangerous place. It's hard for people to understand that because there's still so many loving teachers like myself. And they go, wait a minute, my child's teacher's nice. Well, don't let that fool you. Your child's loving teacher is in a corrupt system that the teacher cannot control. We have been pushing back in California, and parents and teachers we've been going up to the state capital,
Starting point is 00:32:34 we get brutalized by the Democrats that are controlling this entire thing and who are controlled and funded by these radical unions. I can't say it loud enough to folks that it really is time to pull your kids out of public schools. It's time to defund this public school nightmare and get back to what our founders set up, which is independent schools, small private schools, homeschooling, networking together to educate our children in smaller settings, not government-run public schools. So I talked to Betsy DeVos and spend about an hour with her on a recent interview. she's saying very much the same things that you are saying right now. Have you talked to the Secretary of Education or anybody in the Trump administration about this?
Starting point is 00:33:28 Yes, I have talked to Secretary DeVos. She's wonderful, by the way, and the unions made sure that the world hated her from day one by lying about her. She's a good woman. She's doing wonderful things, and I urge your listeners to support her. She's trying so hard to do what's right for her kids. Yes, I have to do it. actually got to share my testimony with President Trump supporting education freedom, because he and Secretary DeVosur is supporting education freedom scholarships in which they're trying to give parents the right to have the money to choose the educational environment for their children to rescue them from these nightmares. So the only reason they haven't been able to pass these is Democrat.
Starting point is 00:34:11 Go ahead. the teachers the teachers union in uh california and other states now are actually saying that because of covid all uh all catholic schools all private schools they all need to be shut down uh that they should lose all funding and and be able to shut them down a moratorium on all of those schools and concentrate only on public schools yes so people need to realize that the National Education Association passed their moratorium on charter schools in 2017. And if you, that's another thing on our website. They can go to union politics.
Starting point is 00:34:51 They can read for themselves all the nightmare radical agenda that these unions are behind. And so it is their goal to make private schools illegal, make homeschooling illegal. Why? They want every single child in government-run public schools, actually, excuse me, union-run government schools where they can sexualize your children and indoctrinate them in radical Marxist ideology. If we go back and read our history, this has happened over and over again. Just look at Nazi Germany. This is what these unions are trying to do. They're trying to get into the minds of your kids, change their values, turn them into something you would never teach them at
Starting point is 00:35:38 home and they want to stop you from having the right to protect your children from that. This is a right fire alarm. You are a very brave woman. I'd like to spend some more time with you and maybe we can have you on a longer format to talk about this and to show parents exactly what your kids are learning and what these unions and teachers are doing. Her name is Rebecca Friedrichs. She is the author of Standing Up to Goliath, founder and president.

Starting point is 00:38:00 We're really glad you're here. There's a doctor that I think your, whose voice you need to hear. She may, you may not agree with her. You may not, you know, you may take issues. with what she believes. So far, I haven't. She has been amazing. She is the founder of frontline doctors, and she did not want to speak out, and she was afraid of being just alone, but she was willing to do it, as she told me, this is her country, too. And she is wildly, wildly flailing her arms and waving her arms saying,
Starting point is 00:38:47 America, you've got to wake up. Doctors are being silenced and doctors are being told what to do and lives are at stake. And we are no longer the nation that we used to be. And she's being destroyed for saying these things. I had her on last night on a show that you have to watch. Watch it on blazedtv.com. Use the promo code. Is it unmasked?
Starting point is 00:39:14 I think, and you'll save 20% unmasked. Make sure you watch these Wednesday night specials. Last night was incredible. We had her on for a few minutes, and I told her, I want to give you the whole hour to talk. She is unbelievably brave, and she's next. This is the Glenn Beck. You've heard me talk about my Tukovas boots and how much I love them, and what a great company they come from.
Starting point is 00:39:38 It's a small business that's doing things the right way down here in Texas. Well, given the challenges that we're going through as a country, Tocovas has asked me to speak about something else that comes to mind every time I put on my Tocovus boots. The cowboy. Now, you know, I'm not a working cowboy, but I know some of those guys. And not being one of them, I wouldn't pretend to be. But what I see in them, I see in other people too. Because in many ways, cowboy is just a mindset, an uncompromising can-do attitude, a willingness to help even when it's really hard.
Starting point is 00:40:10 And most of all, the cowboy knows that the good guys always win. in the end. So as you begin the hard work of bootstrap in this country and economy back into shape, Tocovus has the boots you need. Find your pair at Tocovus.com. T-E-C-O-V-A-S dot com slash Beck. Starting point is 00:40:31 And what do you say? Let's all be cowboys. This is the Glimbeck program. I've been reading some stuff on social networks and they're saying that, you know, we're not credible and Oh, really? Conspiracy theorists. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Oh, wow. Well, I believe you. Now we're feeding our dogs, you know, this supplement that nobody knows about. Nobody's, you know. It's unproven. You can't just, it's unproven. I mean, you can take it. You can take it right to the vet.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Show them what's in it. And my vet said, oh my gosh, yes, please feed this to your dog. But that's a conspiracy theory. That's probably never, ever happened. Anyway, if you're in with us, Rough Greens is what your dog needs. My dog had a hard time eating. We could never get him to gain weight. He is not fat, but he is eating all the time.
Starting point is 00:41:26 This is not a food. This is a supplement you put on the food. I let him out last night. He ran the fence line so fast twice. He just ran the fence line. He is so active now, and it will help your dog lead an active. and longer life. It's Roughgreens.com slash Beck,

Starting point is 00:42:29 every day when I talk to people, when I talk to, I am finding people now who are incredibly brave. And you may not get it yet. I think you do because you're in this audience, but a lot of people don't understand what we're fighting and how close we are to losing the Western way of life, how close we are to losing science, how close we are to losing the entire economy
Starting point is 00:42:57 and capitalism itself and freedom. We are on the edge. and there are the few people that are really awake and they are risking everything to speak. One of those women is going to be joining us here in 60 seconds. She was on with me last night. I was so impressed with her. I asked her if she would come on because we only had eight minutes on TV last night. Can you come on?
Starting point is 00:43:21 I'll give you the hour. You just have to tell America what you are seeing as a doctor and as a lawyer as well. she is gravely concerned they are doing everything they can to destroy her reputation while she has a reputation left I thought you needed to hear her voice
Starting point is 00:43:43 we do that in one minute this is the Glenn Beck program all right so if you have a cell phone you have a plan you are probably donating money to the leftist causes like Planned Parenthood not that you want to do that
Starting point is 00:44:01 but these big cell companies are donating a portion of their profits to plan parenthood, to anti-second amendment causes, the Marxism and the ability for them to convince these capitalist companies to give money for Marxist and death causes is just outrageous. Get out of those companies if it all possible, and it is possible with your cell phone company. Get out of that. They're all using the same towers now. Okay, everybody is using the same towers. So you're going to get the same coverage. But with Patriot Mobile, you're with a company that has just been ranked number one in customer service. You got the same great coverage.

Starting point is 00:45:24 Switch now. Patriotmobile.com slash back. So there is, there's been a controversy this week. Dr. Simone Gold started America's frontline doctors. It has been under grave attack this week for several reasons. One is because they made an impact and they were immediately banned by Google and Facebook and YouTube just gone. Now they are busy trying to do. dismantle reputations. I want to introduce you to the founder of the frontline doctors.
Starting point is 00:46:11 Judge her on her character and her ability. I want to give you her resume here. She's a board certified emergency physician. She graduated from Chicago Medical School before attending Stanford University Law School. She completed her residency in emergency medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. She worked in Washington, D.C. for the Surgeon General, as well for the chairman of the Labor and Human Resources Committee. She works as an emergency physician on the front lines, whether or not there is a pandemic. Her clinical work serves all Americans from urban inner city to suburban and the Native American
Starting point is 00:46:52 population. Her legal practice focuses on policy issues relating to law and medicine. I found her very credible last night and very passionate and an American who has a right to be heard. You may leave this disagreeing with her, but what is more important than allowing voices to be heard? Dr. Simone Gold is joining us now. Doctor, how are you? Good morning. Thank you for having me.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Sure. I'm so glad to have you on again. I'd like you to start with where you were last night with hydroxychloroquine. And what that drug is, it's history, and the things that I didn't know of it being taken off the market just as this was hitting over in France and elsewhere. Can we start there? So, yes. And I'd like to run your listeners and viewers. through all of this, you're one of the first people to get the whole story. So, sit tight.
Starting point is 00:48:03 It's going to be good. And I'm going to give you references for everything that I'm saying. And lastly, everything that I'm saying has been documented and people can look up the references themselves at a website that we just put up quickly called America's Frontline Doctors Summit, with one S between American and Summit, America's Frontline DoctorsSummit.com because they took down my website. Okay, hang on just a second. Hold on, hold on before you start. I want to also say this. going to clip this, but I can guarantee you that this will not be played
Starting point is 00:48:35 on social media. We will we will it will be banned, it will be destroyed, you will not see this anywhere. I urge you to listen carefully and to take notes. But go ahead, Doctor. That's a good point. And to join
Starting point is 00:48:51 Blaze TV so that you can hear all of this. Okay. Thank you. So the controversy is, we're Pending this controversy is about hydroxychloroquine. It's a complete mess. How do we know it's a complete myth? Hydroxychloroquine is an analog or derivative of quinine, which is found in tree barks.
Starting point is 00:49:09 It's the most non-controversial of medications there is. We know that George Washington used it in the Revolutionary War, and it's actually credited with why we won in the last battle. He encourages troops to take it. So it's been around for centuries, and it's been FDA approved as a modern version called hydroxychicoroquine for 65 years. And all of that time, we use it for breastfeeding women, pregnant women, elderly, children, and the immune compromised.
Starting point is 00:49:36 The typical use is for decades, for years or decades, because we give it mostly to R.A., rheumatoid arthritis patients and lupus patients who need to be on it really essentially for all of their life, most of their life. So we have extensive experience with it. In addition, in countries that have malaria that's endemic in their countries, they use it all the time. It's one of the most commonly used medications throughout the world. It's on the whose list of indispensable medication, essential medications,
Starting point is 00:50:03 a list of medicines that should always be available and is essential that any country has. That's its status. If you use it for more than five years, you're encouraged to get an annual or, I think, bi-annual eye checkup because you could get a rare condition called retinopathy. However, that's 1% at five years. So in terms of a short-term use, there's essentially zero risk. There's a theoretical risk of this little heart thing called QT prolongation, which has to do with how the heart charges itself. It is real, but there's hundreds of medications, the QT interval.
Starting point is 00:50:40 It's not to be risky enough to even... And with hydroplex... It's not to be risky enough to even screen for the QT prolongation prior to starting. And it is also only with a combination of another drug, right? it's not caused by hydroxychloroquine. It is caused in a very small number. Let me be clear. Hydroxychloroquine can by itself prolong the QT interval, as can be hundreds of medications.
Starting point is 00:51:11 But the disinformation campaign about that is, first of all, prolonging the QT interval is very common. It might be like saying you get nausea from the medicine, very common. And it matters only if it's prolonged a significant enough amount to cause a heart. rhythm problem. So what I'm saying is it doesn't get prolonged significantly enough that it's even recommended to check prior to starting routinely. So most people who use this medication prior to COVID were rheumatologists. And it's on the American College of Rheumatology website, informational sheet that you don't even have to do a pre-starting EKG before you start the medicine.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Many rheumatologists have gone on TV to say, that's their practice that in 30 years, 4,000 patients, they've never even done an EKG prior to starting. Now this was over the counter. Was it over the counter here or in many places around the world and not here? It was never over the county here, but it's important to understand that that wasn't due to a lack of safety. The safety issue is indisputable and we'll go over exactly why we know that. But it was over the counter much of the world. Now, medications become over-the-counter when there's a consumer demand for it.
Starting point is 00:52:21 So in countries that have malaria throughout their region, they want their citizens. they want their citizens to have access to malaria reducing or treating medications such as Correquin, which is a precursor. So in those countries, it's over-the-counter. And many other countries, Mexico comes to mind. Much of Latin America was over-the-counter. We just never had the demand here because we don't have malaria here. The people in our country who use it historically or patients with rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, who were already routinely going to doctors, so for them to get it over-the-counter, you know, they're going to see doctors anyway.
Starting point is 00:52:54 The average citizen walking into a drugstore wouldn't need it. There's no consumer demand. It would just languish on the shelf. That's a predominant reason it hasn't gone over-the-counter. That's the answer. But it was over-the-counter in countries like France, for example. Okay. And then it came off of the over-the-counter list in France and other countries in January of this year.
Starting point is 00:53:20 Tell me about that. Yes. So it's fun to build up to that and explain that later, but we can go right into that right now. So when President Trump, I knew about this drug probably working for COVID-19, at least as far back as February, because it was very promising in the very early trials in China and early trials in Marseille, France. It was so promising the fact that on February 19th, the country of China actually said that it should be a treatment for any future COVID-19 outbreak.
Starting point is 00:53:50 I was actually very stunned to discover that in my research. So I had my eye on it, and then all of the sudden, and I got, of course, I got myself hands on it. I just figured every intelligent physician would do that, knowing that there's a problem coming, and I justified it because as an emergency physician, I knew I was considered, you know, an essential work when I needed to make sure I had it. I didn't start it or anything. I just kind of waited. Many, many doctors did that, by the way.
Starting point is 00:54:13 There's many polls of physicians, and something like a third of doctors took some, you know, obtained some, and the American Medical Association in late March, I think, issued a statement asking doctors not to hoard the medication. That's how common it was. So the way other people were hoarding toilet paper doctors were hoarding hydroxychloroquine. Then Donald Trump said that he thought it might possibly be a good medication. And the next day, the media just, I don't know a better expression, Glenn, but they vomited all over hydroxychloroquine. And I was really shocked. And this is a totally non-controversial medication.
Starting point is 00:54:47 It was really bizarre. So I felt like everyone else thought, well, you know, the media doesn't like Donald Trump. He said it was good, so they say it's bad, right? It fell into Orange Man bad category. And I went to eight weeks. This is a severe trial came out, and I looked at that. As a doctor, I'm used to using 20. I'm happy to have lots of options.
Starting point is 00:55:10 I had nothing against where I'm disavere. And in fact, I invested a little bit of money, little, small. We're talking like a couple thousand dollars in Gilead because I thought, you know, might be good. So the trial comes out, and honestly, it wasn't that great. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It cut the hospital stay by that three days, but it didn't influence mortality. It didn't reduce mortality. And it certainly wasn't a fabulous drug.
Starting point is 00:55:30 But the media help, or there was some media coverage like how fabulous it was. And at that moment, I thought that was really weird. Because it's one thing to hate hydroxychloroquine because the president said it. But it was another thing to give a free pass or another medicine that didn't seem that great. I thought that was really weird. So I started looking into it. And let me tell what I discovered was absolutely shocking. So it was over the time.
Starting point is 00:55:50 Okay. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me take a quick. Before you get into this, let me take a one minute break and then tell us what you found, because I agree with you, it is shocking. And you're not going to hear this really anyplace else. And it will, I mean, I'm doing this now on public airwaves because that is the biggest platform that I have that I know her voice will be heard. You need to do your own homework. You need to decide for yourself. But since when in America, do we ban, other people's opinions because they say something different than what the government says. This is the First Amendment. And we'll continue our conversation here in one minute. Stand by. All right. You've worked hard to get where you are in life.
Starting point is 00:56:40 And when you work hard for a long time, you begin to have an eye out for someone else who works as hard as well. One of the most frustrating things I've had to learn is how often hard work isn't a staple element in the real estate world. I don't know how many bad experiences you have had, but I've had several. I mean, I've lived all over the country, et cetera, et cetera. To get agents to fully commit to you and your house is really amazing. So we started a company called Real Estate Agents I Trust. It's a free service to you, and now you can have an easier time buying or selling a home than I often did.
Starting point is 00:57:19 We tried to find the real estate agents that have that kind of work ethic and have a system that is proven over time that works. They find more people to look at your house. They drive more customers to their websites. And they have a proven track record in your area. And they really do work for you. We're going to send you the name of the real estate agent in the area that you are either selling or buying. if you just contact us again free service i urge you to do your own homework don't take my word for it interview them yourself it's real estate agents i trust dot com real estate agents i trust dot com 10 second
Starting point is 00:58:00 station id so we're we're with dr gold now and she is uh she started doing her own homework she couldn't figure out why the media was against hydroxychloroquine um and she assumed as i did that it's because Orange Man bad. Donald Trump liked it, and so it must be bad. What did you find, however, when that answer didn't start to fit everything that was going on? Again, everything is reference. I'm going to give all those references to your listeners. I found out that the drug was moved from over-the-counter status in France,
Starting point is 00:58:51 where you can just walk in and buy it for yourself to, quote, list to poisonous substance, which requires a prescription. This was done very quietly if no announcement. You can find this again. You'll find it on my website. And this was shocking and this really didn't make the news or anything. Now you have to ask yourself, why did France remove hydroxychlorchlorchlorquate quarkment off its shelves, especially when they knew that it was likely to work.
Starting point is 00:59:18 And when I say likely to work, they say that because this COVID-19 virus is not all that novel, despite the name that it's been given. It is 78% similar. is an acronym really for SARS-Cove 2. But there was a SARS-Cove 1. And in 2005, biology, which is the official publication of the National Institute of Health, which was directed by Anthony Fauci at the time, published an article. Correquin worked prophylactically in early treatment for SARS-CoV-1.
Starting point is 00:59:52 He felt it hadn't been proven to work for COVID-19 yet. You certainly thought of it as a contender. That's a really weird time for Franks of Corcoran. They did that. January 13th, so this is long before really anybody is talking about, you know, closing down our economies or anything else. It's right as the world is starting to understand that something is happening in China. This is two and a half weeks, I think, before Donald Trump shut the planes right down in a move that was called racist. This was very, very early. I mean, really early.
Starting point is 01:00:33 This was like just a couple of weeks. You know, we just sort of we're hearing about this from China. It wasn't all over the news in America. It was on the news a little bit. This was unbelievably early. I could not believe when I discovered this. So why did they pull it off? Well, I like to say that if you're in a battle with somebody, you know, an economic battle
Starting point is 01:00:55 and you've knocked out the best early contender who would benefit. You would have the contenders that remain. And if you took out Mike Tyson, who would benefit, right? You got to wonder who would benefit. It would be other treatments. So this is a generic drug. And nobody's really going to make a lot of money on it because anybody can make it. It's proven.
Starting point is 01:01:21 It was, according to Fauci, good for COVID SARS-1. And you're contending that it was taken off because it is a prophylactic drug. So if you can't stop it from happening to you or at least reduce the number of cases by taking this, you're saying that the later drugs or the vaccines have to be developed. That's quite an amazing charge to make. Do you have any evidence of that? So I'm going to read you this study. Quote, chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS, coronavirus, infection, and spread by authors Vincent, Bergeron, Benjon, Benjonet, et al.
Starting point is 01:02:06 was published by the official publication of the National Institutes of Health when Dr. Fauci was the NIH director. So he wasn't the author, but he was the director at the time, the official publication of the National Institute of Health came out with a study proving that chloroquine worked in prophylactic and early treatment of SARS-CoV-1, a virus that is 78 percent identical to SARS-CoV-2, which has taken down the American economy and affected everything. So at the very least, he knew it was a probably effective. medication. That is a very
Starting point is 01:02:38 bizarre time to come out with strong words against its use. Even today from then March or February, whenever he started saying it wasn't good, I forget, till today we're still arguing about it. Now in addition to that study from
Starting point is 01:02:54 2005, we have dozens and dozens of studies that show at work, which I'll go over with you. Okay, we're going to take a break and then we'll come back. Dr. Simone Gold, is her name. And I want you to do your own homework yourself.
Starting point is 01:03:12 Don't take her word for it. Don't take my word for it. She brings up some things that make you go, hmm, now where do we go from here? Are these verifiable? What does it mean if they are coming up? All right. You want to know how to unlock the secret to a great grill
Starting point is 01:03:40 game, it's rec tech. That's what you're going to want to get. Rec tech. I mean, honestly, I think I could burn water. I mean, I really can. But hear me out. When you get a rec tech, it won't matter if you're me or Gordon Ramsey. You're going to be able to grill like a professional every single time you open this thing. And how do I know this? Because I am a guy who can burn water and I'm a guy who has cooked perfect, perfect meat on this. It turns out amazing every time I've never done that, never done that. It's smart grill technology and rec tech allows you to control the cooking of your food from an app at the touch of a button on your phone. So you put it, you put it on in the heat and then you go inside and the app will tell you exactly what's happening
Starting point is 01:04:34 and it's delicious. It's R-T-T-E-C-E-C-E-C-Grills with an S.com. Go there now, rec-techgrills.com. Look, they're pulling stuff down off the internet all the time. Be a member of the Blaze. You're not going to worry about that. BlazTV.com slash Glenn. The promo code is unmasked.
Starting point is 01:04:58 This is the Glenn Beck program. I am spending the hour with Dr. Simone Gold. She is the founder of America's frontline doctors. She is an ER physician. She is also an attorney. She's very, very bright, obviously. She's worked for the surgeon general. She volunteers her time.
Starting point is 01:05:19 She is someone who deserves to be heard. However, she has been banned, and they are working hard to destroy her and her credibility. They're doing it in one way, and I wanted to get her quick thought on this. Dr. Gold, the woman that spoke at the frontline doctor's video, the one that was banned immediately, that Donald Trump retweeted, she's, she's a bit off center. Yeah, and she believes some pretty crazy things, you know, about, you know, anyway. Let me just address that, because I really want to move on to more substantive things. I do too. This is what I want to say.
Starting point is 01:06:13 Dr. Emanuel is a board-certified physician who has treated hundreds of patients successfully at different ages and multiple comorbidities. She happens to work with patients who have a lot of diabetes and overweight, okay? All of those were successfully treated. I did bet that. And all the science, the rest of the group believes that hydroxychloric when is safe and highly effective and should be available. The decision to prescribe and take it is between. the doctor and the patient, she's a very capable physician. One's faith and one's belief is irrelevant.
Starting point is 01:06:40 I would like to point out that because the efficacy of hydroxy of hydroxy core quirk cannot be disputed because of the science is on our side. The left goes on classic Olenski personal attack mode. Hers is particularly egregious. It's xenophobic. It's racist. Cultural elitism at its worst to attack a Nigerian or West African women's religious beliefs.
Starting point is 01:07:00 It's unbelievable to me. Unbelievable. That's all I'm going to say in the subject. May I think one thing about attacking us, we have such short time, attacking us doctors as being quote-unquote quacked. Let me just share with you that just today, hot off the press, the FDA chief agrees that using hydroxychloroquine is absolutely up to the physician. That came out today. Ohio yesterday tried to prevent doctors from using hydroxychloroquine. Really, there was such a fuss about it that he reversed himself within like 12 hours. I'm telling you, hydroxychloroquine works,
Starting point is 01:07:30 and they're doing everything they can to keep it out of the hands of the American people. I'm getting more offended by the minute. You know, I look at patients who have it. I'm an ER doctor, and this all started because I couldn't give patients a medication that I knew could save their life. Do you understand what a burden that is for me to say that, oh, you know what, I'm just not going to give it to that patient because it's a little bit inconvenient for me
Starting point is 01:07:49 because my government's going to come down, not government, big tech is going to come down hard on me and censor me. Well, no. So this is where the rubber meets the road. No, I'll have none of it anymore. And there's thousands of us doctors, by the way. Well, I know that my doctor put me on. hydroxychloroquine because he has done his homework as well and he put me on that in zinc and
Starting point is 01:08:09 another another drug as well and said if we can get it at the root if we get it early it doesn't develop into anything which is which let me let me but he said he was afraid of losing his license yeah let me take that on so multiple states probably the majority have put in some restriction of doctors' ability to prescribe this FDA generic safe drug. That is a sweet generic, unique event in American medical practice. We've never ever had state governors tell our state medical boards to threaten us with unprofessional conduct if we were to prescribe an FDA-proof medication. It's never, ever happened, ever.
Starting point is 01:08:48 That should make people who even don't agree that it's good or useful, very worried. The encroachment on the doctor-patient relationship and the doctor's ability to decide what to do for each individual patient has never, ever happened. Number two, if I can just run through really quick, the safety studies, I'm just going to go through four really fast, less than a minute. The four data points I want to lead people with, and it's, again, on my website, is that there's been, the biggest study, the 20-year look back on use of hydroxychloroquine. That's done by the University of Oxford. They looked at over 900,000 patients who've been on hydroxychloroquine, and they found no increased risk of heart problems. Number two, the FDA database, which measures all serious adverse events since its inception more than 50 years ago,
Starting point is 01:09:30 They've taken one million serious adverse events a year from all medications. They have found over 50 years that there's been 640 excess deaths related to hydroxychloricin. That's 0.034% of all the adverse, unexpected adverse events in the FDA database due to hydroxychloroquine. The CDC-owned website has an information sheet about hydroxychloroquine. It says everyone can take it. Adults and children of all ages, also pregnant women and nursing mothers. Who could not take it? People who have psoriasis.
Starting point is 01:09:57 And then finally, the American Heart Association on April, 29th, 2020, came out the statement that after doing a study, quote, the largest reported cohort of COVID-19 to date treated with hydroxychloroquine and is it bromicin. There were no instances of fatal rhythmic death and no patient had to actually stop the hydroxychloroquine. I'm just going to stop there. The data on safety is irrefutable. There should be no conversation in the public domain at all about this. efficacy is between a patient and a doctor. Safety is for the FDA to decide. It's irrefutable. Then you have to wonder if there is no, if there is no, if there no safety issue on an FDA approved generic medication, why is it that we're even having this
Starting point is 01:10:35 conversation? In your career? No. No. And you've got to wonder. So you, this is really, for you, this is not just about hydroxychloroquine. In fact, it's probably the least of the worries. This is really about freedom of speech, freedom as a doctor to do your own business.
Starting point is 01:11:06 and you're just raising the flag that something is dramatically wrong, and if we don't stop it now, we are all in danger. Do I have this right from you? This is a concrete casualty that's very easy for the American public to see once you start losing freedom of speech. You lose freedom of speech, you get into censorship, but before you get to censorship, you get misinformation, then you get disinformation, then you get outright censorship.
Starting point is 01:11:35 We are actually outright censorship in America. This is utterly shocking to me. And if you don't have free speech in America in any environment, you're finished as a country. It may be five years, it may be ten years. But the constitutional republic is over if you don't have free speech. When you're at the point, when YouTube, because you're talking science, really in a subject that should be boring to most people, Americans wake up. You're not going to be living in America much longer.
Starting point is 01:12:10 how did you feel about big tech yesterday when Zuckerberg and others were testifying in front of congress many members on both sides of the aisle taking big money from these guys how did you feel about their testimony yesterday when they talked about censorship i cannot believe that that in a coordinated effort facebook youtube twitter LinkedIn and independent service all of these people are supposed to be at least somewhere competitive with each other. They're all acting in concert. It's obvious to me that they're acting like a monopoly, even if they're not sharing a checkbook. Obviously, you're acting like a monopoly if you're controlling all the public dissent or all the public dissenting opinions. You can't assemble peacefully in person. So what are people doing? They're assembling online. And then the online overlords are all in concert working together. How do they shut down multiple sites that are all technically supposed to be competitive with each other? How is it possible?
Starting point is 01:13:10 How is that possible? How is it not risking antitrust laws? People forget that I'm also an attorney. I find this an unbelievable legal and constitutional crisis that we're having right now. So I'm as passionate about my patience as I am about the health of this nation. Americans, we're losing, we're almost have lost our right to free speech. They're working in concert. I don't know what else to say.
Starting point is 01:13:35 YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, shut everything down. They took off all the videos. They took down my website. People want to know they're trying to say that this is some Donald Trump operative. This is as grassroots as it gets. We had a simple website. We didn't have staff, right? And so they take down my website.
Starting point is 01:13:54 Who's Squarespace? Shame on you, Squarespace, taking down a website. There wasn't even anything really on the website, just the reference papers. The videos won't even up. Reference papers from physicians. That's what they took down. America, if you think that we're not in jeopardy, you're wrong. You're wrong.
Starting point is 01:14:09 You need to rise up. We've tried very hard to get this message to the president. He's obviously heard us, but he's got a lot of people around him that are not focusing on this is the main issue. Americans, if you can get your hands on hydroxychloroquine, it will do two things. One, you will shrug off the fear, the spiderweb of fear that is strangling our country. And two, you will then see for yourself the lies that you've been fed. You know, the people who think hydroxychloroquine is dangerous, let them watch all the people who take it and have no problem. You want to see what happens to social distancing when you're on hydroxychloroquine?
Starting point is 01:14:39 Do you think they can social distance in Calcutta? How is it possible? Calcutta has a lower case fatality rate than America. How is that possible? They've got slums. They don't have ICUs and ventilators. They're not social distancing or wearing masks. You know what the case fatality rate is in sub-Saharan Africa?
Starting point is 01:14:53 It's not even a hundredth of what ours is. We're talking we've got case fatality rates in the 400s per million. Okay, Europe was worse, 600s per million. How is it possible that Kota Array, and I'm not sure I'm saying that right, Niger, the sub-Saharan African countries are all like at two per million, three per million. We're in the hundreds. Western countries, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Hague, America, we're there because we don't have access to chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine. Glenn, this is a crime against humanity.
Starting point is 01:15:26 And by the way, the uprising is not just here in America. It's worldwide. So doctors bring lawsuits in the Hague and the Netherlands. There's criminal investigations going on in Brazil. This isn't orange man bad. This is a crime against humanity. It's censorship of the people. It's keeping a life-saving medication from people.
Starting point is 01:15:44 We can speculate about the motives. But Americans, you need to wake up. Understand this is not a right or left issue. They're keeping a life-saving medication from you. Look at the numbers in sub-Saharan Africa. They're as clear as day. Now I think you know why I asked her to come on. I ask you to do your own homework.
Starting point is 01:16:02 You cannot live off of her testimony or her research. You have to do it yourself. You need to know this is true one way or another. Pardon me? Henry David Thoreau a long time ago said you must think for yourself or others will think for you without thinking of you. I urge you to do with Glenn said, you don't have to listen to my words. I compile them for you, but they all have references and you should check them all yourself. Dr. Simeon Gold, I wish you luck.
Starting point is 01:16:30 I don't, well, I've lived what you're going through now and I don't wish it on anyone. I wish you the best of luck. keep your head, get yourself a great attorney. Lynn Wood. I've engaged Lynn Wood. Let that shout that out far and wide. That is the attorney for the Covington kids, is it not? Is she there?
Starting point is 01:16:58 That's the Covington. That is correct. Yeah. That is correct. Good. I hope you pursue whatever Lynn is recommending. Thank you so much, doctor. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 01:17:10 By the way, I just, I just, I just want to, before you leave, I'd love to get your comment on this. I think we may have just hung up on her. The New York Daily News reported this. Beck then claimed his doctor put him on a prescription plan. Now listen to this. So here's the news. I showed the prescription bottles on television on Monday. everybody in my family has COVID. I have no symptoms of COVID yet. And my doctor put me on hydroxychloroquine. This is the way it was reported.
Starting point is 01:17:51 Beck then claimed his doctor put him on prescription plan that included hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malaria popular with right-wing conspiracy theorists. That's unbelievable. Can you help me? get to, I'd like the NAACP to come join me. This is a crime against them. This is a drug that's used widely in Africa. The rates in Africa are one, one hundredth of Western countries.
Starting point is 01:18:18 They have an African woman who they're trashing. I'd like the NAACP to help me. I don't have context with them. They need to step up. I don't either. I don't think you're going to get help from the NACP. But, you know, I'll pose that to my staff because there are people who are actual civil rights people that I will put you in touch with. Thank you so much. Dr. Simone Gold.
Starting point is 01:18:44 All right. Our sponsor, this half hour, is American financing. Now, I've been telling you for a while that you have to refinance. Now, refis are getting harder and harder, and credit scores are being held higher and higher. I mean, right now, if you don't have a credit score over 700, you're going to have a hard time getting loans. American financing is there, but there is a lot of people in line now. So you need some patience, but you have to act now. Refis are up 122% from last year because people are realizing they can save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars every month. If your interest rate is over 4%, get in line right now for a refi. It may take you a while, but in that time, the interest rate may even come down even lower, and it's going to get harder to get a refi. So please do it now.
Starting point is 01:19:42 Americanfinancing.net. Call them. They're waiting for your phone call right now. 800906 2440. 800, 906 2440. Take 10 minutes out of your day and save your money. Now, Americanfinancing. net. American financing NMLS 1-8-2334, www.mLS, consumer access.org. So I, you know, Stu and I were just talking about Dr. Gold off air. And I have not looked into her claims and her study. Stu has done much more on COVID than I have done. He is the stats guy.
Starting point is 01:20:38 That's why he's the producer of this program. make sure that we're on the straight and narrow. And I'd be interested, Stu, in having you look up some of the things that she said and talking about it. Because some of the things I thought were right on. I thought some of them, you know, you really have to do your own homework to find out if that's, you know, comparing to sub-Saharan Africa. You know, the testing is different than it is in the West. And I don't want to get into all of that. But I'd like you to do that.
Starting point is 01:21:08 The thing that I really was impressed with her is she is warning us. And this was her real message, I think, all the way through last night as well. We are losing our freedom of speech. We are losing the right for people to be wrong. We're losing the right for people to express themselves and express another opinion. That is dangerous. And she is really on. on the front line of saying,
Starting point is 01:21:40 it's got to stop, it's got to stop. If you take anything from that interview, it's that. Please, please, America, wake up. Whether you're working from home or working on fitness, it doesn't matter, you want to listen to what you want to listen to and not what your kids are listening to or somebody else is listening to. And right now is the perfect time to get a pair of premium wireless earbuds.
Starting point is 01:22:06 Raycon, the way to go. Raycons start at about half the price of, of, let's be honest, the Apple. I mean, they just gouge your eyes out. They sound amazing. Raycon's everyday E25 earbuds are the best model yet. Starting point is 01:22:44 That's buy raycon.com slash back for 15% off Raycon wireless earbuds. Buyraycon.com slash back. This is the Glenback program. I do not recognize my country anymore. And if you feel that way, I'm telling you if we don't stand up. And if Donald Trump loses this election, you won't recognize your country from this country at this time next year. You won't recognize this. You'll think this was sanity a year from now. There has been one standard that I have held out that said, this is what I'm looking for to say, we're going to civil war.
Starting point is 01:23:34 If you know what that is, it almost happened yesterday, and it is remarkable. Now, the press is celebrating on another front. The press is celebrating and saying Donald Trump and the DHS is backing down in Portland. That's the spin, but I don't know about you. I don't believe anything from the press, and I certainly don't believe anything from any Democratic politician. I've never seen anything like what is happening right now. It is shocking to me. So we're going to go to the horse's mouth and get it from Ken Cuccinelli,
Starting point is 01:24:14 the acting DHS deputy secretary, former Attorney General of Virginia, Homeland Security. Are they pulling out of Portland? Did the protesters and the state of Oregon win over the DHS? Did they surrender? We have his answer in 60 seconds.
Starting point is 01:24:36 This is the Glenn Beck program. Jeez, Louise, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez, jeez. Somewhere in America within the sound of my voice, there is a slow, there's a man that's slow dancing right now with his best gal under the shifting starlight of an old
Starting point is 01:24:53 fashion honky-talk disco ball. The soft air floats the fiddle that grazes his ear and the misty makeshift ballroom. It's good to have her head resting on his shoulder just like the good old days. He smiles. It took him a long time to understand that youth is wasted on the young, but that's okay. He strides the room with her, and his stride is comfortable and stylish, well set in a pair of Toccovis boots. Because he doesn't just think about the cowboy way of life. He lives it. And being a cowboy now,
Starting point is 01:25:29 boy, that's an important thing to be. Somebody who actually says what they mean and mean what they say, a handshake is stronger than a contract. That's integrity. And that's what his boots remind him of. The time when things were made by hand from the finest leathers known to man made with integrity. You know, Tukovas, it takes 200 steps to make a pair of Tukovas boots, and those steps are not performed by a machine.
Starting point is 01:25:59 They're performed by a man who spent his whole life trying to make the perfect pair of boots. Now they're half the price of a boot of similar quality, but twice the quality of a similarly priced boot. And they're made the right way, the cowboy way. Find your pair now at Tocovus.com slash back. That's Tocovus.com slash back. T-E-C-O-V-A-S dot com slash back. Tocovus, Western Goods for your frontier. Ken Cuccinelli is.
Starting point is 01:26:32 the acting DHS deputy secretary, former attorney general of Virginia, friend of the program. Welcome, Ken Cuccinelli. I know you are, I believe, out at Camp David with the president and not doing a lot of interviews today. We appreciate you doing this and bringing us up to date on what is happening in Portland. It is being spun in the press as though we folded, the federal government folded. Can you tell me what happened? If I can fold by getting the other side to do what I want them to do every time, I'm all in. But, you know, we have been asking Governor Brown specifically for more than two weeks to do what the Portland police aren't being allowed to do by their own city leadership, and that is police the area around the federal courthouse and other federal facilities.
Starting point is 01:27:31 And they've refused to do it until this week. but they're coming in tonight. And they had to come in last month, along with some guard members based on articles I've read in June for situations in Portland and the same string of violence that had nothing to do with the federal facilities. So this isn't the first time they've had to do this. They were just a whole lot slower in doing it because they don't like Donald Trump, frankly. But we've been performing the mission of protecting the people on these federal facilities and the facilities. facilities themselves. And when the daily violence from late May to when you and I are talking right now, they haven't missed a day in Portland. In May and June, only three of those days involved
Starting point is 01:28:19 in July, it has been every single target of the violent mob, and that's what it is. Protesters aren't rioters, and rioters aren't protesters. There's a difference, and the only ones that we're concerned about from a safety standpoint, we want to keep the protesters. safe, but the violence from the rioters is what needs to be quelled. The president is called for that, and we move more officers into Portland to be able to protect the courthouse from exactly this kind of rising violence. All right, so you are going to be there until the, what, state police and possibly National Guard prove that these things are being protected, or how's this going to work?
Starting point is 01:29:08 Yeah, so our, we, the Federal Protective Service, which is a little known part of the Department of Homeland Security has been protecting this courthouse since it was built in 1997. We're not leaving Portland ever. But what people are talking about is the additional officers we sent into Portland because of the rising violence. They are not leaving Portland either. We will see how this partnership between the Marshals, U.S. Marshals, and our Federal Protective Service and the State Police works. And if it works, through a weekend and in the next week and the violence will protest, then when the circumstances allow for it, we can draw down. And they just won't be specific. So, Ken, I've never seen
Starting point is 01:30:11 anything like what is what is happening. I mean, Bill Barr, I'm sure you watched what happened to Bill Barr. The Democrats have absolutely become unhinged. They are all now saying that Donald Trump is only using DHS and all of these other departments as a prop for his election, that there is no real violence. This is all a conspiracy theory. This is all just made up by the Trump administration. I mean, I don't know how we save our country when we have politicians that are mayors, that are governors, and even in Congress that are denying what our eyes are showing us.
Starting point is 01:31:02 Well, Glenn, you know, when people that far out want to lie, I frankly would rather they lied obviously. I have faith in the wisdom of the American people, and I have faith that they can use their own eyes and determine that so many of the people you have cited to, starting right there locally with the mayor of Portland, have lied knowingly and intentionally, and in the case of the mayor of Portland, encouraged violence and cited it, that I think the American people and their understanding will prevail. And it's so important for people like you to talk about this publicly
Starting point is 01:31:51 because you know the mainstream media is they're basically a narrative machine for the left. So it's important that other avenues get the truth out because the truth is not what they're about anymore. Well, we're fighting for our lives. I mean, honestly, many of us in my industry have been talking, you know, on the phone and behind closed doors. many of us are convinced that if Donald Trump loses this election, we're done. I mean, there's just no way. I mean, they're already silencing our voices online. They are going after anybody who has a differing opinion. We are so close to losing the First Amendment.
Starting point is 01:32:36 We've already lost parts of it, in my opinion, that I don't know how we continue to get the word out. Yeah, and I mean, we do have various avenues, but we have to keep fighting as you note and as you do. Yes. But there's no question. You know, the people we're up against, they do not believe
Starting point is 01:32:57 in free speech. That is the last thing they believe in. They believe in forced agreement with their radical Marxist perspective. And they will do it by force. And they don't, they've demonstrated, they do not care if they kill people. They don't care if
Starting point is 01:33:13 They hurt people. They don't care if they destroy businesses or communities. They will impose. As Eric Erickson long ago said on Red State, you will be made to care. We will be forced to conform. That is part of their goal. And it's why it's so important that we at DHS and the president not have backed down in Portland or anywhere else in the country, that we impose the necessary circumstances for peace,
Starting point is 01:33:42 which is exactly what we've done in Portland. And if those circumstances are achieved, then our goal will have been achieved. That is what victory looks like. And there's nothing wrong. I have no problem with the state police of Oregon getting credit for helping to bring peace to Portland when they actually come and help do it. And they are finally becoming our partners in that effort. And if that's achieved, we'll have been the ones.
Starting point is 01:34:14 who held the line throughout July in the complete absence of Governor Brown and her readily available officers and National Guard if she chose to use them. Ken, we're talking to Ken Cuccinelli. He is the acting DHS Deputy Secretary. Ken, two weeks ago, my staff produced the documents that showed that, radicals in the Islamic world are actually over here now teeming with BLM and Antifa in things like Portland. And they are attempting to make this a global intifada. And I haven't seen anyone else talk about this, but you're seeing it in the press.
Starting point is 01:35:15 You're seeing it from the governor. You're seeing it from the mayors of some of these cities where they are now talking about the federal government coming in and being an occupying force. This is exact rhetoric from the Palestinian radicals. Are you at DHS? Are you looking into those connections? Are we going to see more than just we're looking into it? Are we going to actually start to see arrests being made and connections made? Well, of course, the basic arrests have been being made.
Starting point is 01:35:54 We made almost 100 of them in Portland alone this month. But the connections you're talking about, first of all, let's be candid. Our enemies around the world relish this. I remember looking up the viral video of the perfectly, legitimate detention by CBP officers of a guy who had been, who matched the description of someone who assaulted federal officers.
Starting point is 01:36:21 And when I, when I Googled it, the very first article, 14 hours old, was by RT.com. And I know you know what that is, but for your listeners, that's Russia. That is Putin's pals.
Starting point is 01:36:37 And anybody who thinks they're really friendly with the president, you could read that article. they drive both sides. What Russia's about is destabilization. What Iran is about is destabilization. China, you know, would like their pals in all these offices, people who'll just let them sell more stuff. But for many around the world, including the jihadists who have sharpened their marketing skills in the last 10 years, they grab this stuff and they use it. And the language is strikingly similar frequently to what you hear. coming out of people on the left.
Starting point is 01:37:16 And, you know, whether that's coincidence or whether that's intentional, I don't know at this point. But I'm sure you know there are across the country, not just in Portland, there are hundreds of investigations running. And we're trying to run those connections backwards. And as we do, we'll press into each one. But, you know, I can't jump ahead of that right here. as we talk on the radio. Is there any, do you have any thoughts on what Bill Barr faced?
Starting point is 01:37:52 Well, yes. I mean, you know, frequently hearings, especially in the house, are just kind of a joke. I heard it, was it Martha McCollum said he should have just put up a paper picture of Bill and they could have just yelled at it. And, you know, it would have been about the same. And as the Attorney General said, you know, when he was trying to speak, he said, I thought this was a hearing and you were supposed to hear from me. Look, I've been in these in the house, and they've made up a phrase. I take back my time.
Starting point is 01:38:27 And they've made this phrase up. It really means nothing to anybody outside of that building. And what it's intended to, what it does is it means you don't get to talk. So, but they don't want to say, Mr. Attorney General, you don't get to talk because that looks really bad on. camera. So they made up this new phrase, I take back my time, that no American really understands. So when you play that clip, it just looks like gobbledygook. You don't even think much about it. But they use their five minutes. They yell at the Attorney General. And then when their five minutes is up, they don't give him any time to respond to the typically scurrilous libel.
Starting point is 01:39:05 And they, as you know, get in that position, when they're on that dais, they get the protection of the constitution, they can say anything without being held liable for liable. And they do. And perhaps that's one of those things that should change. Ken, thank you so much. We appreciate all of your work and remain strong. Give the president our best. Thank you so much. Ken Cuccinelli, he is acting DHS deputy secretary. All right. Let me talk about the best. shave you'll ever have. I mean, consider those words. I love it, the best shave ever. There's 20 experts on the board, the voting board, and then you. And so you make up a very important vote. And I would appreciate your vote at Radiovote.com. That's radiovote.com. Do we have time to play the Jim Jordan thing from, yesterday that that happened. This is this is absolutely astounding. I've had one standard for the for the civil war and that is when they start beating each other in the well of the Senate like they did in the 1850s. That's when you'll know well it almost came to that yesterday. Listen to
Starting point is 01:42:42 this in the House. The chair now recognizes this is a gentlelady from Pennsylvania. Ms. Scanlon. Thank you gentlemen. I'd like to redirect your attention to Anna. law rather than fringe conspiracy theories. Mr. Bezos, our investigation... Mr. Chairman, we have the email. There is no fringe... Mr. Jordan, you do not have the time. Please be respectful of your colleague.
Starting point is 01:43:05 He controls the time. Directly... Put your mask on. Put your mask on. Mr. Jordan. Mr. Jordan. Mr. Jordan. Mr. Jordan.
Starting point is 01:43:14 Why would the deputy secretary... This is unbelievable. He was saying that voices are... being silenced by the media. We all know that's true. We all know that's true. And the Democrats have become so unbelievably unhinged. They are talking exactly the same way as these radical Marxists.
Starting point is 01:43:39 They do not care about anything but their own power. I don't know how we don't end up in civil war. I really don't. but pray to God that that doesn't happen. Louis Gormart is coming up next. First, let me tell you about gold line. The dollar is in trouble. They now expect gold to hit $2,300 an ounce.
Starting point is 01:44:14 This is Goldman Sachs. $2,300 an ounce. I said this to you a few years ago, probably 10 years ago. When gold hits $3,000 an ounce, the world is on absolute fire. It is going to get harder and harder. They are now banning people in China from buying physical gold. Please do not miss out on your opportunity to own physical gold as a safety net, maybe even silver. If you can't afford gold, silver, please, please don't miss this opportunity.
Starting point is 01:44:50 Goldline has reinstated their special on the exclusive $5 Liberty Coins. That's gold. They're old. They're collectible. There's lots of read. Ask them why I buy those particular coins. But this is happening right now. And for every order, you'll get your mind your business, silver bars.
Starting point is 01:45:10 It's five free bars with your order at goldline.com. 866 goldline. 1-866 goldline. Do it now. The vote for the Radio Hall of Fame is RadioVote.com. You can vote today. Stranger Things. I don't think.
Starting point is 01:45:34 anything could be stranger than what we are going through right now in America. I have seen it all this week. Now my good friend, Louis Gomer, is being bashed because he just doesn't care. And he's intentionally told everybody on his staff, he had a meeting in a phone booth where he told everybody there not to wear masks. Louis Gomerd is joining us now. the COVID-ridden, Louis Gormard. How are you feeling, Louis?
Starting point is 01:46:09 Well, I'm doing all right. I would never have known I had COVID if I hadn't had to be tested yesterday. But, yeah, thanks for bringing that up. It is just absolutely a bunch of lies. It is unbelievable what the media will do. Yeah, try to find somebody on my staff that will say that I ever bereave. rated anybody for wearing a mask. I've told them all along.
Starting point is 01:46:37 You do what you feel is appropriate. You wear what you feel is appropriate. And so I don't know where they're getting these lies. But let's see. Oh, and also, I went in the house a gym and contaminated that. They've been, they've had that close. I have not been able. And it didn't any kind of great thing, a workout area.
Starting point is 01:47:03 and there used to be showers you could use, but I haven't been able to get in there since early March, so I don't know where that came from. It's just one thing after another, absolute lies. So, Louis, I hate to differ with you, but I'm reading it from Politico. You've been walking around the Capitol without a, yeah, without a mask, and you just don't care. Are you the only person that is walking around without a mask? Because Democrats aren't. Well, I wore a mask more the last week or two than I have in the four months before.
Starting point is 01:47:45 And that's rather ironic. That's when I caught it. But, yeah, I mean, you know. But, oh, yeah, another one was that Jerry Nadler personally admonished me in the hearing to wear my mask. I was wearing my mask in the hearing, except I know I saw you. And anyway, he'd never admonished me. He'd admonished a couple of guys, but I wasn't one of them, and that's real easy to show. So it's just unbelievable. Unbelievable. But once they go after somebody, truth doesn't matter. It's kind of a sad day. We haven't mentioned yet that Herman Kane has
Starting point is 01:48:30 passed away, dead from COVID. He had been hospitalized. After the Trump rally, they're trying to pin it on Donald Trump now. But Herman Kane has been sick for a very long time and had underlying conditions, but it's sad to see him go. Yeah, he was just such a great guy. Really liked Herman. Good man.
Starting point is 01:48:58 um louis i i don't think i've ever seen anything like i saw uh bill bar go through and i'd like to talk to you about that and then and then what happened yesterday so i the the democrats have changed their uh tactic now to where they are just denying what our eyes and ears are showing us what we know to be true and they are setting up this narrative that the president is just completely out of control and running this deep state fascist thing, and the facts don't matter at all to them. They don't. And, you know, when you look at what they've been able to get away with, you know,
Starting point is 01:49:48 the most widespread abuse of our U.S. government to create a coup, And yet they know what's coming. They know truth keeps coming out. So they just keep throwing trash out. And some of these people really did, like on judiciary, they used to care about civil rights. They used to care about the government abusing their powers to spy on American citizens. But, boy, those days have gone to the way. They don't care anymore.
Starting point is 01:50:27 it's all about covering their butts. Have you seen Louis anything specifically? To me, there seems to be a massive change in the way all the congressmen are behaving. It's very well coordinated. It's all on script. They're all saying the same thing. And it is all unhinged. Have you seen anyone break from the rank and file on this?
Starting point is 01:50:57 no i haven't uh and that's what's so amazing because like i say some of these people really did use to care about american civil rights and and not preventing uh the government's intrusions into people's private lives but there's just there's nobody that will stand up for those kind of things now and you're right it is kind of scripted but glen you remember back in 2016 2015 2015 2016. One of the concerns, I think you and our mothers had, is we were encouraging conservatives. Don't do anything dramatic. Don't allow yourself to get pulled into any violence. You know, the Democrats were playing the stir-up violence, and we're going, don't do that. That will allow President Obama to declare martial law and just,
Starting point is 01:51:57 take over things, well, look what the left is doing. They're doing exactly what we encourage people not to do back then. And the concern then was Obama might try to stick around, but they're really pushing Trump to do the things they don't want him to do. Everything that they accuse Trump and the Republicans of, they themselves are doing. It is the most remarkable thing. And it's all there.
Starting point is 01:52:29 It's not like when I was at Fox and I was trying to piece things together. And you have to look here and you have to look here and you have to look here. Now all you have to do is just open your eyes. And it's all there. And it is, it's remarkable. I want to play something that I just, my blood pressure goes through the roof when I hear it. This was at the hearing yesterday with the Google and Facebook and, and, uh, all the executives from tech.
Starting point is 01:52:57 And Jim Jordan had just talked about how they have emails, internal emails, talking about how they are shadow banning conservatives. And I want you to listen to this exchange and tell me, if this doesn't remind you of what happened on the Senate floor in the 1850s, where they had a beatdown of a, of a senator, listen to this. The chair now recognize this is. lady from Pennsylvania, Ms. Scanlon. Thank you, gentlemen.
Starting point is 01:53:29 I'd like to redirect your attention to antitrust law rather than fringe conspiracy theories. Mr. Bezos, our investigation... Mr. Chairman, we have the email. There is no free... Excuse me. Not your time.
Starting point is 01:53:41 You do not have the time. Please be respectful of your colleague. She controls the time. Put your mask on. Put your mask on. Mr. Jordan. Mr. Raskin. Mr. Jordan.
Starting point is 01:53:51 Mr. Jordan. Why is the... Why would the... I can't take it. I can't take it. Louis? Where are those that used to care about truth and honesty and reigning in the government? They're just, you don't find them.
Starting point is 01:54:16 You don't find them. And I brought this up in some of our judiciary hearings before. When we had a Bush Justice Department that were abusing national security letters, where they were just sending these out on fishing expeditions, no probable cause, no cases. I was outraged, and I called the White House and told the president's chief of staff, this is outraged.
Starting point is 01:54:44 The people that let this happen have got to go. And I'm going, where is the Democrat that is outraged about the coup that was attempted here? Where is the Democrat that will stand up and say, I'm sorry, this is wrong. And the answer is, they're not there. They don't exist. You introduced a ban, which I just love.
Starting point is 01:55:11 You introduced a bill to ban the Democrats. Can you explain that? Well, it was the logical next move for what the Democrats themselves were doing. You and I believe in having the history out there being, taught, good, bad, ugly. And, you know, we don't do the communist manifesto thing of rewriting history. But that's what the Democrats are doing. And so they, let's say, Tuesday of last week, they voted to remove four paintings of
Starting point is 01:55:52 Democrats. They didn't mention they were Democrats, just four paintings because these people were involved in supporting slavery. And then on Wednesday, the vote was not only to remove four statues, but to set up a group that would go through and pull out any statue of anyone that may have been supportive of the Confederate states, no matter what they did after that, like the general from Georgia that fought valiantly for the union after the Civil War, none of that mattered.
Starting point is 01:56:34 They wanted them out of the Capitol. So I took the next step and said, okay, I had two pages of where-asas. I mean, it's a Democratic Party that over and over 1840 through 1856 had in their platform. They supported slavery. And they're the ones that supported segregated. So basically I went through all of that and said, so number one, any thing that mentions a party that supported slavery has got to be removed from the capital.
Starting point is 01:57:11 And number two, any party that supported slavery, it's got to either have its name changed or be thrown out of the capital. So anyway, that's very logical based on what they were doing. Yeah. So, Louis, would you do me a favor? Would you print that out and sign it and have anybody else that's around you sign it so I can keep that for our museum? Because I just think that is just one of the greatest statements ever. Louis, take care of yourself. And you bet. Take care of yourself, please. All right. Our sponsor, it's relief factor. Mark is a listener of ours. He lives in Washington where he's. He's hopefully avoiding both the Rona and the rioting. But a while back, Mark was severely injured.
Starting point is 01:58:04 He injured his back not once but twice, and it gave him frequent debilitating back pain. Also, alternating pain and numbness in his legs. And he tried taking the drugs that he was prescribed, but he was sick, he was woozy. He hated it. I mean, you really lose your life and your spark for life when you start taking. taking that stuff. He heard about relief factor, decided to give it a try. Within a few weeks after taking it, Mark's pain went from unbearable to absolutely minimal. I'm quoting. These days he's getting around fine. He has relief factor to thank for it. He's a transition

It's Relieffactor.com. Relieffactor.com. 8500, 583,83,84. It's Relieffactor.com. I want to read an email I just got in that means a lot to me. Just got this in from a guy named Stephen.
Starting point is 01:59:46 He's a listener. He said, I'm currently unemployed and I can't easily afford my Blaze TV subscription. However, the segment last night with Dr. Gold was all the value that I needed from Blaze TV, and I will continue to subscribe. I recently killed my direct TV subscription because cable news has become so dumbed down. It seems like they expect an audience that's drugged or slow. Comparatively, when you put a data source on like Dr. Gold, who supplies truth like it's coming out of a fire hydrant, I feel I'm getting high value for my Blaze TV subscription price. Keep it up, Godspeed, Stephen.
Starting point is 02:00:24 Stephen, it is really difficult in these times to pick the stories that we have to cover. and we take them seriously. And we do so much research. We leave probably 80% of what we work on on the floor because we just don't have time for it. And many days we walk out, I do at least, thinking, I don't know if I pick the right stories. I don't know if anything was helpful today. your email means a lot. You say that our voice matters.
Starting point is 02:01:06 I will tell you that you, your voice matters to me a great deal. And thank you so much for writing and thanks for subscribing. As we talked today, we are kind of our theme running through the show was the First Amendment and our freedom of speech. and it is absolutely under attack. And I don't know what the future holds. I fear I have seen the future because there are things that I,
Starting point is 02:01:46 I'm just going to be straight with you, things that I felt I have been shown of the future and I am not prepared to talk about them because I just pray to God they don't happen. But we appreciate your willingness to support us and to keep our voice alive as the world changes dramatically. Thank you for being a subscriber to blazTV.com. By the way, if you use the promo code unmasted,
Starting point is 02:02:22 you'll save 20 bucks on your subscription. Well worth it. Do it now. It's the Glenn Beck program. Thank you.
