The Glenn Beck Program - Glenn's Genius Idea to END Congressional Corruption | 2/5/26

Episode Date: February 5, 2026

Glenn starts by discussing the SAVE Act and the popularity of voter ID laws nationwide, even within the Democratic Party. So why are congressional democrats like Sen. Chuck Schumer (NY) fighting so ha...rd against it? Glenn reads through the lyrics of the song he wrote that will be performed live at Ellis Island during a Torch event honoring American immigration. President Trump has shown his empathetic side in recent months. Glenn takes calls from various callers, including one who was among the first in Europe to subscribe to Torch. Glenn discusses the importance of the original filibuster and why the Democrats' attempt to change how it works completely undermines what it was intended to be. Glenn reveals what's actually broken in America: the contrast between power and the people. Glenn also offers a potential solution: having members of Congress wear body cameras, just as police officers are required to do. Glenn reacts to Kamala Harris's latest announcement regarding Kamala HQ. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Starting point is 00:00:00 The FBI has been warning about a type of real estate fraud that is on the rise called title theft, and your equity is the target. Now, here's how it works. Criminals forge your signature on a single document. They use fake notary stamps, and they file it with the county. And just like that, on record, they own your home. Using your ownership, they then take out loans at a bank and get your equity. And then, you know, like you didn't even sell your property.
Starting point is 00:00:27 And yet it is like you sold your property. and you don't know until foreclosure or collection notices start showing up. Find out today if you're already a victim. Talking to you today, I want to hear from you. It's Thursday the 5th of February. I ought to talk to you about the SAVE Act. I can't take it. The Wapo,
Starting point is 00:03:18 the geniuses at the Washington Post. Bitcoin, possibly down to 40,000. Everybody's panicking. I've got something to say about that. Also, the Ryan Ralph, the life in prison in Florida. Compare that guy, the guy who killed or tried to kill the president to the guy who killed the health care executive in New York. Look at the difference between living in New York and living in Florida. Thank God I'm in Florida. Also, Savannah Guthrie, there's some really amazing things happening there.
Starting point is 00:03:50 And also, I've noticed that I think Trump is shifting gears. and I think it's a really good gear shift. I could be wrong. Maybe not. Maybe it's just me, but let's talk about that. And your phone call 888-727-B-E-C-K. First, let me tell you about Rough Greens. You don't need a vet degree to get to know when your dog is feeling their best.
Starting point is 00:04:14 You know, you see it in how they move, how they eat, how much energy they have, or how much energy they don't have. Are they eating grass too much? You know, when you toss them a toy, are they running the way they use? used to. It's natural for your dogs to slow down as they get older, but they're slowing down, I think, sometimes faster than they should because of the nutritional gaps that are happening in the processed kibble food. Kibble food, you would not feed your kids a processed meal like we feed our dogs kibble every day of their life and then expect them to be healthy. I mean,
Starting point is 00:04:46 I'm surprised their dog's teeth just don't fall out and their hair doesn't fall out. After all this processed food, you need to put all of the stuff that those high temperatures, cook out. That's how you do it with rough greens. You just add that on top of your dog's food. It will boost everything that they need, vitamins, minerals, probiotics, omega oils, everything. And it helps them live a longer life, a healthier life, their coat, their eyes, everything. Starting point is 00:05:24 dot com, RUFFFgreens.com, roughgreens.com. Okay, so let me start, I think, with the Save Act. First of all, let's get a lay of the land from CNN. This is how CNN is reporting how Americans are viewing the Save Act and voter ID. Listen to this. The American people are with Nikki Minaj, because what are we talking about here? So take a look here. Favor voter ID to vote.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Look, I got all this polling on the screen going back since 2018. You'll notice on all of it, it's all north of 75%, 76%, 76%, 76%, 81%, and then 83% in the last year of Americans agree with Nikki Minaj. They favor photo ID to be able to vote. What about by party? Yeah, normally you might expect, hey, there'd be a big divide by party, but Republicans really for it and Democrats really against it. But not really here.
Starting point is 00:06:28 I mean, just take a look here. Favorite photo ID to vote. You got 95% of Republicans, pretty much all of them. But even 71% of Democrats favor photo ID to vote. Okay. Now listen to how Chuck Schumer, remember, 71% of Democrats, Democrats want voter ID. And listen to what Schumer says about voter ID. Listen.
Starting point is 00:06:53 We've got to get this done and we've got to get it done very quickly. The SAVE Act is an abomination. It's Jim Crow 2.0 across the country. We are going to do everything we can to stop it. Going to do everything we can to stop it. Okay. How is it Jim Crow to ask for ID, a picture ID? That's what the SAVE Act is, that you'd be required to have picture ID to go in and vote or to register to vote and then to vote. Okay. That is not unreasonable. I want to give you a list of what is required to, when you're doing something, they require photo ID. You need a photo ID to get a driver's license, to drive a car, or to renew your driver's license, or replace your lost license, get a learner's permit.
Starting point is 00:07:50 You need a photo ID to rent a car, to pick up a rental car, even if you prepay. paid it to buy car insurance, to file auto insurance claims, to register your vehicle, transfer your vehicle's title, get a parking permit. You need a photo ID. You need a photo ID to use car sharing apps to buy an airline ticket in person, to board a commercial flight, enter the TSA pre-check, the clear lanes. Is it Jim Crow to ask for photo ID as they scan your eye? Is it racist to ask for photo ID when you check a bag at the airport? Or you rent a U-Haul truck or a moving truck. Buy a bus or a train ticket in person.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Is that really? No blacks can ever go on the bus or the train or an airplane. Really? Really? No, it's just too hard for them to get photo ID. What a racist. to pick up a lost item from the Greyhound Bus Depot, you need a photo ID. You want to open a bank account.
Starting point is 00:09:02 You want to withdraw a large amount of cash. You want to cash a check, even your own check at many banks, at your own bank. You need a photo ID. To deposit cash, to wire money. Now, we're told that people are wiring money back to home, right? they're coming here, they're working, and they're taking care of their families, and they're wiring money back home. To be able to do that, you need a photo ID. To get a cashier's check, you need a photo ID, to get a money order, you need a photo ID, to apply for a credit card,
Starting point is 00:09:40 photo ID, increase your credit limit, photo ID, apply for a loan, refinance a loan, access a safety deposit box, photo ID, replace a lost debit or credit card. card, photo ID. You want to reset your banking credentials? You need a photo ID. You want to pick up seized or frozen funds? You need photo ID. You want to, you know, redeem anything you might have in the stock market or, you know, treasury or CDs or anything like that. You need a photo ID. But let's get into your daily life of just housing. You want to rent an apartment? You need a photo ID. have ever rented an apartment? Really? No Hispanics, no black. It's racist to say we need a photo ID voting because you can't
Starting point is 00:10:34 get a photo ID somehow or another. Yet you need one to rent a house or an apartment or to apply for public housing. To pass a background check, you need photo ID. To sign a lease, photo ID, renew a lease, buy a house, close on a house, apply for a mortgage, get you, utilities turned on, power, gas, water. How do blacks do it? How do they get water turned on to their house without the photo ID? Because they're just too stupid to be able to find it. It's a lie.
Starting point is 00:11:05 To set up internet or sell service, you need a photo ID. You're moving from one place to another and you want to transfer your utilities. You have to have a photo ID. You want renter's insurance photo ID. You want to file a claim on insurance photo ID. Pick up the keys from a landlord or a property manager. Can I see your photo ID? If you want to stay in most hotels or check into a motel,
Starting point is 00:11:32 I mean, even the sleazy ones on the side of the street, the roadside ones require photo ID. You want to book Airbnb, get a storage unit, access your storage unit if you're locked out. You want to get a job. You need an I-9 verification, so you need photo ID. to get paid legally you need photo ID. Pick up a paycheck photo ID.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Set up direct deposit photo ID. Apply for unemployment. Have no blacks ever applied for unemployment? Really? Well, they can't without a photo ID. We are starving blacks to death. They lose their job. They can't get a photo ID because apparently Chuck Schumer,
Starting point is 00:12:15 they're just too stupid to figure that out. or they don't have access, but yet they go apply for unemployment and they need a photo ID for that or workers' comp or file a labor complaint or even join one of your precious unions. You need a photo ID. To go into a job site, to go into many buildings, you need photo ID. To get a professional license. You want to be a barber. You want to be a stylist.
Starting point is 00:12:46 You want to be a nail person. You need a photo ID. Oh, my gosh. You want to drive for Uber? You want to deliver for DoorDash or Uber Eats? Because that's an entry level job. You need a photo ID. You want to get paid, Venmo, cash, you know, Apple, Apple pay.
Starting point is 00:13:11 You want health care. You want to register at a hospital because you're sick. You go into an ER and you're registering for a non-emergency. You're just sick. You need a photo ID. They're going to write you a prescription. To pick up the prescription, you're going to need a photo ID. To get any controlled medications, photo ID.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Access to your medical records, photo ID. Pick up a medical test result, photo ID. To sign a consent form, photo ID. Get health insurance, photo ID. Medicare, Medicaid, photo ID. Change your insurance plan. Access to VA services. Donating blood.
Starting point is 00:13:50 You need a photo ID. Have no blacks ever donated blood? Oh my gosh. Do they even have blood? This is so racist, so incredibly racist. If you want to enter most hospitals, most medical facilities, you need a photo ID. Okay, how about this? You're going to go in and buy alcohol.
Starting point is 00:14:13 You need a photo ID. You're going to buy cigarettes or vapes, photo ID. You know, we're talking about cigarettes. They always say, well, cigarettes, those are the very bottom of the, that's, I mean, that's the lowest economic ladder are people who still smoke. Okay, I don't even know if that's true, but let's say it is. To buy the cigarettes, you need a photo ID. To buy cold medicine. How about this one?
Starting point is 00:14:40 To buy cannabis where it's legal. You need a photo ID. You want to go to a bar or a club. You want to return an item without a receipt. You want to make a large purchase with cash. You want to pick up online orders from Best Buy or Apple. Photo ID. You want to pawn items.
Starting point is 00:15:00 When was the last time you were in a pawn shop? Okay. I haven't been in a pawn shop in a while, okay? But again, who is that appealing to? People who have little money that have to make it to the next month, they're going to pawn some items. Those are the people that apparently Chuck Schumer is saying, can't have a photo ID. They just can't get one. To pawn the items,
Starting point is 00:15:24 you need a photo ID. By a firearm, buy ammunition in some states you need a photo ID. To enter a gun range, rent a tool or equipment to pick up dry cleaning in another name you need photo ID. How about this? You get certified mail. Okay, you want to pick up a package at a UPS store or a U.S. P.S. the United States Postal Service requires photo ID. Pick up a FedEx package. Rent a PO box. Access your PO box. File change of address in person. Replace your lost social security card. Get a birth certificate copy. Get a marriage certificate copy. Get a death certificate copy. Notarize a document. Sign most legal documents. File court paperwork in person. Retrieve court records post bail. visit someone in jail
Starting point is 00:16:19 get fingerprinted, get background checks, enter government buildings. I mean, really? Hispanics and blacks and poor people have done none of those things. To go into certain public hearings, you gotta have a photo ID. To access state benefits,
Starting point is 00:16:42 hello Minnesota, you need photo ID. To apply for snap, or WIC. You need photo ID. I'd like to apply for disability. What's the first thing they say? Do you have photo ID? Sure. No, I'm too stupid. Chuck Schumer says, I can't figure out that out. You want a student aid? Guess what you have to have. Enroll children in school? Yep. Pick up children from school. Yep. Volunteer in the schools. Uh-huh. Enter a courthouse. Serve on a jury. Obtain a passport. Renew a passport cross international borders legally. Reenter the country by air.
Starting point is 00:17:24 All of these things require something that Chuck Schumer says is Jim Crow. All of these things. Let's just, let's be really, really clear because I could go on. I've got more on the list. Would you like me to go on? Because I can. You want to pick up a package, cash a check, get cold medicine, check into a cheap hotel, you know, visit a sick relative,
Starting point is 00:17:48 buy a beer, rent a truck for a day. reset your locked account, get your utilities turn back on. You have to prove who you are. So we accept that it's not racist to ask for ID for all of these things, but it is Jim Crow to ask for ID to vote? Does that seem reasonable, logical, or true to anyone within the sound of my voice? Do you actually expect anyone to believe that blacks and Hispanics don't do these things on a daily basis because they're human, and that's what humans do. Who's the racist here? Me for
Starting point is 00:18:26 completing the loop and saying, wow, you know, I got to do, you have ID for all of these things, and they're much less important than voting? Or is it you to say that minorities are just too stupid to figure these things out? Because here's the real truth on photo ID. Valid ID is no longer just proof of citizenship or age. It is a permission slip now. It's a key. It's a survival credential. It's a prerequisite to normal life.
Starting point is 00:18:59 You don't have it. You lose it. You're unable to get one. You don't lose your rights first. You lose function. You can't function in this society without some form of ID. So it's racist for me to say ID should be made universal. Now, no. This is not about reality. This is all about making sure some people can cheat
Starting point is 00:19:29 and control elections. That's what Jim Crow was all about, not photo ID. All I want is free and fair elections and let the chips fall fairly where they may. You're going to win some, you're going to lose some. That's what Americans want. That's why 71% of Democrats are for the Save Act. Do not let the GOP. Do not let the Senate or the House fall on this. They must pass it. It is overwhelmingly popular, both the Democrats and the Republicans. And it's the only thing left that we don't ask ID for. Why? Back in a minute. Let me tell you about the Burn a launcher. Personal safety is one of those things. Most people, you know, you know, don't think about until a situation turns bad really, really fast. You can be in a place that feels normal one second and then very, very dangerous the next second.
Starting point is 00:20:30 And in that moment, you know, you don't have time to wish that you had looked at other options. In that moment, you have to act and act quickly. That's why more people are carrying a burn a launcher. It is less lethal, safe self-defense, and it's an option that fires powerful pepper and kinetic projectiles, but also tear gas. It's designed to stop a threat from a safe distance. without using a firearm. It is legal in all 50 states. It does not require a permit, which makes it accessible for people who want to be, you know, want to have an added layer of protection, but aren't comfortable with traditional weapons. That's cool. I'm comfortable with both,
Starting point is 00:21:06 but I know sometimes I need a burner launcher and not a gun. Having a tool you hope you never need, but you're grateful for having when things go badly is good. That's peace of mind that comes that way. I want you to check out burn a b-r-r-n-a.com slash Glenn. There's no paperwork. There's, you know, no background checks or anything. It's legal on all 50 states as long as you're over 18. Burna, b-r-r-n-a.com slash glen, berna.com slash glen. 10-second station ID. Okay, so here's why the Democrats don't want it. Okay. There's a great story in the liberal patriot.com. And it talks about three different analysis of the data of the new population estimates. The Census Bureau just released these new population estimates. And so we're going to have
Starting point is 00:22:10 another census in 2030. And according to the analysis, blue states, this is the electoral college votes. Blue states, California will lose four, Illinois will lose one, Minnesota one, New York two, Oregon one, Rhode Island one. The swing states, Arizona one, Georgia plus one, North Carolina plus one, Pennsylvania minus one and Wisconsin minus one. The red states, Florida plus three, Idaho plus one, Texas plus four, Utah plus one. What does that mean? That and the seven seats that the Republicans are projected to gain in Florida and Texas alone, it means the balance of power changes.
Starting point is 00:22:54 That's why they have to have all of these new, quote unquote, citizens. they've screwed their states up so horribly that everybody's moving away from them. They've got to keep their power. What do you do? You import a whole bunch of new people. And you make sure they can vote whether they're citizens or not, whether they can speak the language, whether they even want to be American or not. Just get them in.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote. That's what's really happening. All right, let me tell you about rush tax resolution. Tax stress sits in the back of your mind when you're trying to focus at work, when you're paying other bills, when you're thinking about the future. Taxes, taxes, taxes. Because there's no escape from taxes. If you've made a mistake on your taxes,
Starting point is 00:23:41 don't go it alone. These guys are the worst collection agency of all time. IRS steps in and, oh, you're going to pay. And don't do it alone. Rush tax resolution. They step in. They'll help you breathe again. work with people who have back tax issues or getting letters and they just don't know how to
Starting point is 00:24:04 handle it, their team will get clear on what you actually owe and what options you have to start fixing it. Instead of avoiding the problem, you'll have a plan with people who know how to navigate this system. And when you mention my name, Glenn, Rush, will provide a free IRS transcript investigation that others typically charge about $500 for without confirming they can even help you. They don't do that. This is up front. and free, and they'll only take your case if they know they can help you. Tax Resolution with rush. Tax Resolution.com. 877-554, Rush.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Yesterday, the first five founding torch members picked up the phone, and Glenn Beck was on the other end. Don't miss out. Join the insider community now. Yesterday, I was so excited to announce something we've been working on for a while in conjunction with Moms for Liberty and the American Journey Experience, which is a side of, it's the historic arm of Mercury 1. They are doing a fundraiser up in New York on Ellis Island.
Starting point is 00:25:21 And I asked if we could cover it and also kind of make it into a bigger deal. Because I had some ideas because I think right now the most important thing we can do because a lie has been being told about America and Americans and Donald Trump and everybody else. that we hate immigrants. I don't hate immigrants. I think immigrants, immigrants who come here because they want to be here,
Starting point is 00:25:46 they want to be an American because they know what America affords you, allows you to do, that you can leave all the crap behind and you can be whoever you want to be and you can start over and you can fail and then you can pick yourself up again
Starting point is 00:25:58 and you can start over. You know, that doesn't happen elsewhere. Those people who come here because they know, I can't do that in my home country, I want those people here because they remind us slugs who have grown up here for generations, you know, how great this country is. And we were built
Starting point is 00:26:16 by immigrants. So when I heard about this from Moms for Liberty, I asked if we could be a part of it. And we are doing some amazing things on Ellis Island, which is right next to the Statue of Liberty. And you're going to, I can't, for security reasons, I can't tell you everything that is happening. But I, but I would ask that you would trust me, if you've ever been. any of my big, big events, you know, they don't suck. They're usually amazing. And I think this one might be the most amazing one that we've done. If everything comes through, this is going to be a night. You will be like, oh, I wish I would have gone. Only a few hundred people can come. I think we have about half the tickets left. I think we sold, I don't remember, but we have
Starting point is 00:27:05 about half the tickets left. They just went up on sale 23 hours. hours ago. And so they're going to go. They're expensive, but it is well worth it if you can afford it. If you can't afford it, don't worry, torch is going to cover it. So if you want to watch it from home or you want to watch it gathered together, you can do that as well. But on May 2nd, and what I think is one of the most sacred places in American history, Ellis Island, we are going to be doing something extraordinary. And there's two things. One, yesterday I, on talking about the music. Yesterday I played a song. They came for the Hope. That's an original song by me. And I'm looking for some singers to sing it. You can hear it and also pass this on to anybody who sings that you know to give them this opportunity at glenbeck.com slash events.
Starting point is 00:28:01 The music part of is down the bottom. There's going to be other things I'm going to be asking you if you want to get involved. But first, let's start with the music. I'm searching for three world-class singers. I can hire people. I mean, we've hired good singers before. I could do that. But I think America is all about the land of opportunity.
Starting point is 00:28:19 And that honestly is what the torch is about as well. Torch is all about empowering people. And so I want to give somebody who's never had the opportunity to do something grand, but has the talent and the will and the ability to pull this off. I want to give somebody brand new shot. So searching for three world class singers, you'll be backed by a 51 piece orchestra. The first one is the duet I played yesterday.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Original song that I wrote called They Came for the Hope. And that's going to be sung right in front of Ellis Island. The other one is going to be sung with a statue of liberty behind you. And it is, you know, I watched Celine Dion do. her song I can't remember what it was him of something
Starting point is 00:29:09 you know from the Eiffel Tower during the Olympics and I found that song inspiring and then I read the words in English
Starting point is 00:29:16 and I'm like meh okay maybe I mean he's a love song but I took this song and I thought what would the French say if they
Starting point is 00:29:27 because they gave us the Statue of Liberty and they were doing it to try to convince their own people Marxism is a bad idea. They were going through the Paris communes, and it was, you know, 20,000 people died.
Starting point is 00:29:42 It was horrible bloodshed on the streets. And so they were trying to say, no, that's not the way America has the best idea. The torch of freedom. And in the other hand, she's holding the law. Yes, legal immigration is important. Legal. The law is in her other hand, okay? And so I thought, if they were honest,
Starting point is 00:30:00 and they saw the state of their country and the state of our country, and the state of our people here in America, what would they say? And so that was the premise that I started out with. And I'm not a lyricist, but that's why this one has to be sung in French, because it sounds better in French than it does in English. But I want to just read the lyrics. I'll play the song. This is what I'm asking to find.
Starting point is 00:30:26 This is one of the songs I'm asking to find one woman that can sing this in French, and I mean, hit it out of the park, okay? at the foot of the Statue of Liberty on May 2nd. Here, go ahead and roll this song. Let me read the lyrics to you in English. Yeah, I've never made it through this reading him, even without the music, bawling my eyes out. Through the harbor's silver mist, I see her keeping watch.
Starting point is 00:31:02 A quiet flame against the wind, a vow the past still holds. Her eyes might shine like weathered bronze, but her heart is warm with life. And to every restless soul she breathes, remember, be brave. In the long night of fallen empires, whole nations lose their way, and chains, they take many shapes, yet somehow they always return. And I, a wandering heart, stubborn in my hope, go searching for your promise, your light and your love.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Oh, Lady of Liberty, I love you. With a wounded love, your name still rides upon the sea, a trembling hope that will not fade. Yet, we sell our truths for small comforts. We lay our conscience down to sleep. The word freedom has turned to nothing more than painted scenery, a polished jewel with no soul left inside. Yet, you remain steadfast, silent, faithful.
Starting point is 00:32:40 A mother waiting at the shore for her children to awaken. So I lift my whisper to your amber sky. Please let those who understand wake and rise again.
Starting point is 00:33:06 O Lady of Liberty, I love you with a sworn devotion. Guard your wandering, dreaming children. Remind them who they were born to be.
Starting point is 00:33:25 for freedom seldom dies in fire or thunder. It dies in the soft erosion of forgetting. Quiet, quiet rooms where truth goes unspoken, where weary hearts surrender and call it peace. I send my voice into the night like a fragile prayer. Let the earth hear, let the nation stir. Rise you who still carry the spark. Love as she loves. Stand as she. stands, O Lady of Liberty, I love you beyond the measure of time. And if the world should fall to its knees, I will stand beside you still. Oh, America, my great unbroken love, may your soul burn bright forever, but beneath your steadfast flame, I vow. Love truth, faithfully,
Starting point is 00:35:04 proudly, and always. If you know somebody who can shake the Statue of Liberty singing that with a 51 piece orchestra behind them, please make sure they hear this song, get this page, you'll find it

We're going to select the winners by a panel of expert judges and by the audience itself. We're kind of doing our own little American Idol kind of thing in a way. Starting point is 00:36:06 who is widely regarded as one of the most influential vocal coaches in the world. Starting point is 00:37:35 Trust me, you're going to want to be there. In fact, let me take, can I take quickly? Let me take David in New Jersey. Hello, David. Hello, Glenn. How are you? Hi. Very good. You bought a ticket yesterday? I did. I had, I got up on disability, had a knee replace, but I've got up the morning and turned your show on and you started talking about the Statue of Liberty and we actually might my work for a company that does scone work and we were engaged to do some work on the Statue of Liberty
Starting point is 00:38:14 if you look at the pictures or you see the Liberty Liberty commercial you'll see there's a new stairway on the front and after 9-11 they had to do renovations to make it to make the egress in case of a fire. Wow. More people get out. So we built that stairway. Every time I see it, it just, you know what I mean. I mean, I was out there one morning and I guess the changing of temperatures, the water
Starting point is 00:38:49 came off the bottom of the torch and I guess condensation or something came down on me. Honest to goodness, it blew my mind. We were out there for a couple of months. But all that being said, I got up in the morning and I went immediately to your website and bought a ticket. And then my wife saw it come through on the, I guess she gets a note. You didn't tell your wife? Not a good idea, my man.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Not a good idea. There wasn't time. So anyway. So you only don't. about one ticket. So who's going? I did. Is it her or you, David? I'm going, obviously. But I said to her and she came to me
Starting point is 00:39:36 the event, 828. She came with me to Fox. We went to Fox when you announced 828 and you had like really neat books underneath the seats. We missed getting into the studio by like one person. I tell you what, David.
Starting point is 00:39:51 You only bought one ticket? I did. Right? will she go? Would she go if let me buy you a ticket. Okay, I'm going to buy a ticket for your wife because I've got to show you some things that we're going to bring to the Statue of Liberty that you will really like.
Starting point is 00:40:09 So hang on, David, we'll get your information. I'll buy you the second ticket. All right. Back in a second. Let me tell you about rapid radios. That's why rapid radios are so important. I mean, we have rapid radios at our ranch because you can't, there's no cell service. You just can't get cell service. They now have the new rad one.

More Bibles were sold in 2025 than any other time in America in the last 100 years. That's Charlie Kirk and an awakening that is happening in America. I want to talk to you about Trump. I think he's shifting gears in a very good way. I think it's brilliant what's happening.

Starting point is 00:46:12 reversing themselves now the Clintons and actually saying, Y'LK will obey the subpoena. I had a conversation with Jonathan Turley that completely turned my world upside down on this because he was dirt strong on, they need to go to jail. And I'm going to play a little clip of that. It comes out tonight, our podcast with Jonathan Turley,
Starting point is 00:46:33 who I just adore. He's got a new book out on the American Revolution, and it is really, really good. but we talk about insurrection and everything else. Tonight, 6 p.m. for insiders. If you're a member of the torch at glenbeck.com, you'll get that. And then it'll come out Saturday for everybody else. I'll play a clip of that here in a second.
Starting point is 00:46:55 But also, Trump is changing. I don't know if anybody else has noticed this. And I think it's important to note this. I think it's actually a really good thing. And I'll explain in 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about my Patriot supply. We've all seen how fast. normal things get shaken. One storm, one supply issue, one situation nobody saw coming in,
Starting point is 00:47:17 then suddenly the things you assume would always be there are just not there. The people who handle it the best are not the ones who panic. They're the ones who are prepared way ahead of time. That's why I tell you about my Patriot Supply, because they specialize in long-term emergency food kits, designed to sit on your shelf and stay fresh for like 25 years, and be ready when you need them. Take advantage. Go to prepare with glen.com. Prepare with glen.com. The food kit gives you 2,000 calories a day, last up to 25 years. And best of all, it's $100 off for a limited time.
Starting point is 00:48:09 So go to prepare with glen.com. Preparewithglen.com. Go there now. All right. I want to, where do I begin on this with Donald Trump? I think he's shifting gears. And I want to play just a real quick clip from Donald Trump. Let me see where it is.
Starting point is 00:48:38 where he is he's talking about we have it maybe we don't have it is it cut five no no no let me just explain it to you because I don't know where the clip is he was asked on this NBC News
Starting point is 00:48:54 interview what did you learn by your actions in Minnesota okay now it wasn't a hostile question I read it hostile because it might have been in the reporter's mind is a really hostile question but I've heard that asked of George W. Bush
Starting point is 00:49:10 and George W. Bush didn't answer it well. Barack Obama was horrible. What did you learn in your first year? What did you learn in, you know, this or that? That, you know, people just are dumb and they don't understand. I'm getting talk back, please, in my ear. You know, they don't understand. I, you know, I don't know what I should have learned from that.
Starting point is 00:49:37 basically I didn't learn anything Biden did this Trump kind of did this too what did I learn and he didn't have a really good humble answer to it Biden was even worse you're just too stupid I didn't say it loud enough I didn't say it enough I didn't you know whatever here's how Donald Trump answered this
Starting point is 00:49:59 and I haven't seen this in 25 years so here's what he said what did I learn in Minnesota? I learned that maybe we can use a little bit of a softer touch. We still have to be tough. These are criminals. We're dealing with real hard criminals.
Starting point is 00:50:27 But look, I've called the people, I've called the governor, I've called the mayor, I spoke with him. We had great conversations. And I see people ranting and raving out there, literally,
Starting point is 00:50:37 you know, as though those calls weren't made. But I learned that if I had a little softer touch, that's huge. for Donald Trump. And let me tell you why that's so huge. Donald Trump is a guy that doesn't, he thinks, how can I say this? I have seen the president do things personally that I have had to sign a non-disclosure paperwork on that show him on who he really is, this soft, giving, kind, unbelievable guy who just is not the guy you see on television.
Starting point is 00:51:25 He's got this entire other side. And I asked him at one point, as I'm signing this release form, this non-disclosure form, I'm like, I looked at it and I said, why? Why? Nobody needs to know that. No, Mr. President, that's exactly what they need to know. That's, that's, this is such an important part of you that nobody ever sees. Nobody needs to know it's weak.
Starting point is 00:51:54 It's not weak. But he is from this older generation and he's the president. He knows he needs to look strong, et cetera. And he doesn't ever show his softer side. Rarely do you see his softer side? And I think that's, I just think that's a crime, you know, in a way because without seeing who he actually is on that side, you don't understand the full picture of Donald Trump. So here he is softening and saying, oh, yeah, I still have to be tough, but I need a softer touch. That's a really huge deal.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Then he goes on and says, you know, the good shooting and the pretty shooting, look, they weren't angels, but their actions didn't justify fatal shootings. Have you heard anyone on the left say the opposite of that? look ice made a mistake here but they're not all bad here here's donald trump saying good and pretty they weren't angels which is true but they shouldn't have been shot which is also true that is not the strong man that everybody says okay then he's asked about you know president clinton and being investigated and having a subpoena from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee as they look into the Epstein files. And he said, quote, it bothers me that somebody's going after Bill Clinton.
Starting point is 00:53:34 See, I like Bill Clinton. I still like Bill Clinton. I liked his behavior towards me. I thought he got me, understood me. He was the one who said very famously, you don't want to run against Trump when they're 18 people. and Hillary sort of laughed at him. Okay?
Starting point is 00:53:51 I always liked him. Her, well, she's a capable woman who's better at debating than some of the other people. I'll tell you that. She was smarter. She's a very smart woman. But I hate to see it in many ways. But then I look at me. They went after me.
Starting point is 00:54:04 They wanted to go after me and put me in jail for the rest of my life. And it turned out I was innocent. I shouldn't feel this way, but I feel badly that they have to go through that. Empathy. Real empathy from Donald Trump. He's always been empathetic, but he's never let you see it. He's never let you see that. He is changing.
Starting point is 00:54:30 And let me just be really cynical because the guy has the best gut. I've met two people who have a gut as good as he has. Roger Ailes was one of them. Roger Ailes was a dirtbag. But when it came to reading the American people, he's the guy who started Fox. he was the best guy I've ever seen at being able just to go right to the gut. I'd ask him about a question about something that was happening. And I'd say, what do you think of that?
Starting point is 00:54:59 He'd say, well, let me tell you what I think people in Ohio will think. And it was always just rooted in common sense. And I said to him at one point, my gosh, if you were on the air every day, you would be the most powerful voice in the world. And I think he thought to himself, I already am the most. powerful voice in the world. I don't have to be on TV. But that was kind of maybe the dark side of him. But he understood he had this great gut to him. Donald Trump has the same. And I think he is seeing we're not going to win if we look like we're the big bully on the street. We have to, we have to win the hearts and minds, which is fantastic. He also said yesterday, look, we're doing a good job.
Starting point is 00:55:48 We just don't have good PR behind it, which is I've been saying, please, please. Let me just let me bring the chalkboard in front of the White House and just I'll set up right there out in the snow and let me tell it. Let me tell people what they're doing. And you can just look at it and go, nope, that's not it. Or yep, that's it. You need to tell a better story. And he gets that. There is, there's something happening.
Starting point is 00:56:12 And if I may, and I could be way off base on this. but if you saw the movie Melania, there was one scene that, now I've seen them in person. So I know, I know their relationship. He really, she's very smart. He really respects her. She really respects him. They like each other there in love, et cetera, et cetera, but there's real respect there as well. And at one point in the movie, he is rehearsing for the inaugural address.
Starting point is 00:56:47 and she opens the door and she's like, oh, sorry. And he's like, no, no, no, come in, sit for a minute. So she sits down. And he starts delivering his address. And gosh, I looked this up earlier today. What was it? What was it he said? He said, my proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker.
Starting point is 00:57:06 And she said, and a unifier. She's in the movie and he says, My proudest legacy will be that of a peacemaker. and then she's sitting in the, you know, in the room with the writers and she said, she looks at him, points him and said, and a unifier. And he looked at her and he went, yeah, that's good. And a unifier.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Write that in. Then the next scene is him at the, at the Capitol giving the speech. And what's amazing is we didn't understand it at the time. I didn't understand it until I saw the movie, Melania. He says that line. And the most, the thing I will, you know, my most proudest, my proudest accomplishment will be that of a peacemaker and a unifier. And everybody starts to applaud. And he turns around and he points to Melania and smiles and shakes his head.
Starting point is 00:57:59 And she just gives the faintest smile of recognition. She keeps him anchored, I think, in, in the softness. And I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't had a conundated. I mean, I also wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have a conversation with anybody because he has the best gut of the American people I've ever seen. But she is a softening, a softener for him. You know, she was like unifier. He meant peacemaker as somebody who's going to make peace all around the world, which he did. And she understood, and you're going to unify everybody in the country. And that's exactly what he's trying to do now. He's softening to unify because he knows the only other option is civil war. I mean, did you see what the radicals are doing on the streets of Minnesota and Minneapolis?
Starting point is 00:58:56 They're putting their own checkpoints up. I got news for you. You have a checkpoint in Minneapolis and you try to stop my car as a civilian. I'm blowing past you. I am not stopping my car. And somehow or another, they also have access to, the license plates. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:59:17 How'd they get that? Now, Holman has just said, I mean, Holman, remember, I said when he made this deal in, you know, he said, you know, I'm going to fire,
Starting point is 00:59:30 what's his name from Border Patrol and I'm bringing Homan in. Everybody's like, I think he caved. That's the white flag. No, it's not because he brought Homan in. Homan is the toughest of the tough guys. It's like the only step up from Homan
Starting point is 00:59:43 is Raising Kane. Okay. And then Donald Trump himself. So he didn't surrender. But Holman said yesterday, we're now going into the jail. We have complete compliance with Minneapolis and Minnesota. Wait. So Donald Trump got everything that he was asking for. What a surprise. Again, when? But how'd that happen? How'd that happen? How'd that? happen. Now, you could be really cynical and say maybe some sort of a deal was cut. I hope that's not true. I doubt that's true. I think that is Donald Trump knowing exactly how to play the game. Remember, he's a negotiator first. He's a negotiator. He can read the room. I tell you the story about him with the Japanese company that he was trying to sell the plaza to. Give me 60 seconds. I'll tell you that story. So you'll understand he reads. the room really well. First, let me tell you about pre-born. There are moments in life when everything
Starting point is 01:00:50 kind of slows down and speeds up at the same time. When a young woman stares at a pregnancy test, instantly her mind is racing to fear, questions, pressure from every direction in that moment. She does not need somebody screaming politics at her, okay? She needs somebody to meet her with compassion and real help of where she's at right there. She's afraid. This is what Preborn does through a network of clinics, they provide free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and caring support for women who are facing unplanned pregnancies and don't know who they can turn to or what they can turn to. Preborn is great because it not only saves the baby's life,
Starting point is 01:01:33 it also cares as deeply and saves the mother's life. You've got to stand in the gap for both of them. And I don't think I've ever seen an abortion, you know, a pro-life group do that in this way. And they start with the ultrasound. And an ultrasound is $28. If you could give one ultrasound and possibly save the baby and the baby and a mom, isn't it worth $28? It's all tax deductible. 100% of your donation goes directly to saving babies.
Starting point is 01:02:04 Please join us. Donate securely. Pound 250. Say the keyword baby. It's pound 250, keyword baby. or go to preborn.com slash Beck. That's preborn.com slash Beck. 10 seconds.
Starting point is 01:02:15 Station ID. Okay, forgive me if I've told this story before, but you'll understand why it's important here. Donald Trump reads the room really well, really well. Better again than anybody else. I know he can predict the American people and where they're at or where they're going to be slightly ahead. And he also can read the room.
Starting point is 01:02:48 that's what makes him such a good negotiator, that and many other things. But he was trying to sell the Plaza Hotel at one point. And his staff had worked weeks and weeks and weeks. They're bringing in this conglomerate from Japan. And he was going to sell the Plaza Hotel right off the Central Park to this big Japanese group. And they had worked and worked and worked. And they come in for the final meeting to make.
Starting point is 01:03:18 the deal. Deal or no deal. It's going to be decided in this meeting. And everything is writing on it. Got to sell the Plaza Hotel. The negotiations are going on in the room and then Donald walks in and he sits down at the head of the table and he just starts to talk to him, just kind of chit chat. And he's listening to him and he says, so, you know, how are things going? And his side is like, oh, you know, it's going well, Mr. President or, you know, Mr. and he said, right. You know, and he turned to the Japanese. Can I talk to you about another project?
Starting point is 01:03:56 He said, I'm going to do a project on the west side, on the west side highway. And I'm going to, you know, I'm going to totally change and transform the west side of New York. And I think this is actually a better fit for you. Now, his team is like, what the, we're trying to sell the Plaza Hotel. What are you doing? You've been telling us this is the most, that's the priority. What are you doing? They don't say anything.
Starting point is 01:04:17 and he starts talking to them about that. He actually sells them that, not the plaza. He sells them that idea that he just spills out. He doesn't have any paperwork or he has nothing. He just spills it out and they're like, we want to be a part of that. Okay, good. Well, let's put that deal together. He leaves the room with his staff and they're like, what just happened?
Starting point is 01:04:41 And he said, you guys couldn't see? And they said, see what? He said, I sat down, I talked to him for three minutes. They were not going to do this deal. It's like they were just not going to do this deal. I had to switch it up. Let's walk out with a win. He's good at reading the room.
Starting point is 01:04:59 And, you know, with everything that is going on right now, voter ID, Chuck Schumer standing up there and saying over our dead body, that's not a winner. I don't know why John Thune does not get that. That's not a winner. It's a win for the Republicans. let them fill a buster for 30 days. Let them do it. They'll bury themselves.
Starting point is 01:05:20 71% of Democrats are for voter ID and the Save Act. 71% of Democrats, not a winner. Go ahead. Let the people take over your streets and put up roadblocks and checkpoints and have no police around it at all. Go ahead. Let them burn down your cities. You're not going to win. the American people will reject that.
Starting point is 01:05:47 I think they know they're on dangerous territory. How can we save face and get Donald Trump out of our face as well on this issue? And that is them being able to say, you know, he took 700, because we stood tough, he took 700 people out, took 700 ice workers out. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. And what else? Oh, you quietly gave him everything he was asking for. That's a win for both sides.
Starting point is 01:06:21 And that is the art of the deal. More in a minute. All right, let me tell you about relief factor. Sometimes it's not, you know, one big injury that slows you down. It's a bunch of little injuries that has happened all over life, you know, little aches that never quite leave. Your knees remind you when you stand up, your back talks to you when you bend over, your shoulders feel tight by the end of the day. all the stuff that didn't happen, but after a lifetime of doing stuff, just doing stuff, now you're like, oh, geez, how am I going to move through all of this every day?
Starting point is 01:07:10 That's why a lot of people have decided to try Relief Factor. It's a daily supplement, and it's designed to support your body's natural response to inflammation. It helps you feel more comfortable so you can stay active and do the things you really enjoy without the constant reminders that something hurts. It's about supporting your body, not just covering up symptoms. And over a million people have tried Relief Factor, and two-thirds of them have gone on to take more. It tells you a lot about the difference that people are feeling when they take relief factor. If pain is dictating your routine, just give it a try.
Starting point is 01:07:39 You have nothing to lose. I mean, you try it for three weeks. If you're not seeing any changes in your body in three weeks, no changes at all, stop taking it. It won't work for you. About 30% of the people stop taking it. 70% of the people are just like me. They take it every single day because you found a big difference. How will you feel being out of pain?
Starting point is 01:07:56 800 for relief, 800 for relief relief factor.com. Insiders are treated like family at glenbeck.com. Join our growing community and chat live with each other and Glenn at glenbeck.com slash torch. This is a Glennbeck program. Welcome to Thursday. It's the 5th of February. There's a lot going on. I'm going to take your phone calls here in just a second.
Starting point is 01:08:33 I just have to play a couple. You have to play a couple of things. First of all, can we play this weird Kamala Harris X thing that came out last night? I think it's trending. It is just a, you know, Kamala HQ, and it's a sign-in and, you know, your, your login, your login name and your, your code. Your, yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:59 And play it here. Let me just show you what it says. So, have it. So she's typing it in. And she types in the first, the first code is two online. Then it's the babysitter is weird. And then what's, the last one. The last one, I'm looking for it here, headquarters. Yeah, she just writes headquarters. And then it says tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:09:30 Please tell me, this is today, by the way, that tomorrow is today for her. Uh, so, uh, please tell me you're running for president. That's what they're starting to say that she's going to run for president. Oh, please, please make that. Please be Gavin and Kamala. Wouldn't that be fabulous? Way too online means, you know, oh, you're just too cool. Um, The babysitter is weird as a slam on Trump, I guess. Project 2025 is real. It's also another slam on Trump. And Kamala's headquarters today going to be making an announcement. Oh, I cannot wait. By the way, I'm going to talk a little bit about body cams because I've been hearing this thing about, you know, body cams on ice. You know, we've got to have body cams on ice.
Starting point is 01:10:17 I have a, I'd like to put body cams on politicians. and I'm going to explain that coming up in just a minute. First, let me go to Tom in Albania. Hello, Tom. Hello, Gwen. How are you? Good. How are things in Albania?
Starting point is 01:10:36 Well, I'm watching a beautiful sunset over Ivanka's Island. I'm in Valora, Albania. And I don't know if you know or not, but Obanka Trump bought an island right off the coast here. And they're going to build a Trump resort there. And I'm looking at it. The sun setting over it at the moment is gorgeous. So do you live in Albania or are you visiting? Well, we moved here.
Starting point is 01:11:03 We moved here in December. We're now living here, yes. Why did you move to Albania? Well, because I have a condo on the, right on the Ionian Sea, Adriatic Sea, across. Ivanka's Island. That's your wife. That's a good man.
Starting point is 01:11:25 You just keep listening to your wife, brother. Just keep doing it. Whatever she says, you repeat. I got it. We're right on the beach, looking at Ivanka's Island, and it's 700 euros a month to pay for it. So my house,
Starting point is 01:11:38 the last house I had in America was over $2,000 a month, and that was not a very nice house. This is gorgeous. So I have to, you were one of the first, if not the first, insiders, I'm told, from Europe. first torch members? Probably the first. Yes.
Starting point is 01:11:56 You know, you should have waited for me to make the long distance call. But I was, yeah, I know. I was shocked at, we have like, we have torch members now in 40 different countries. And like lots and lots of them all over. And I actually want to call some because I assume they're all expats or, I mean, I don't know how else you find us. I can't imagine that you're in, you know, Switzerland and you're like, you've got to hear this guy.
Starting point is 01:12:29 He talks about chocolate all the time. It's great. No, I've been listening to you since you started. I was actually, I listened to Russia's at first national broadcast. Wow. So, I mean, I've been talk radio for ever since I was, you know. Wow. Wow.
Starting point is 01:12:47 What's your wife saying again? We should just talk to your wife. She just put her off. Yeah, that's never. Go ahead of me. Hi, Glenn. I have an upper respiratory virus, so excuse my horse voice. Oh, I'm sorry. Have you talked to Dr. Fauci about it?
Starting point is 01:13:02 No, I'm not going to talk to Fauci about it. Okay, good. Good, good. Then you'll survive. It's a pleasure to chat with you. No, thank you. Thank you. It's good to know that you guys are in Albania.
Starting point is 01:13:13 If I ever need a place to hide out, you'll be getting a call from me. Yeah, we moved here because, mostly because we started planning this last year, the cost of living in the United States has become astronomical for us. And we could actually live here quite comfortably on our, my husband's retirement and both of our Social Security. Wow. Oh, that's great.
Starting point is 01:13:41 If I'm ever in Albania, I'll look you up. Thank you so much. Oh, absolutely. God bless you both. I'm sure you're going to become to Her Island, right? Oh, of course I've already have plans for that soon. Yeah, next next month.
Starting point is 01:13:57 Thank you so much. Jason, Thursdays are the days that I try to keep open for phone calls, and I've got a lot of phone calls, but I want to check with you because you're monitoring, you know, all of the socials and everything else. What is the big topic of conversation
Starting point is 01:14:16 that I should know of or address? There's not really one big topic. It's a bit of barrage in the insider chat today. A ton of comments. I've got about 50 of them here, save for you that I'll have to, if we don't get to the majority of the va have to show you. But it really is kind of all over the place. I wanted to show this one.
Starting point is 01:14:36 There was a ton of people saying the song is beautiful, the Lady Liberty song, tons of people talking about that. And then this was a, I think this was a consensus that people said, I'm going to read this one from Lauren. Lauren said, okay, Glenn, I'll give it to you. you should do it this way with you telling the story over the music in the background. That's what they want to see. You know, it might wreck the song a bit.
Starting point is 01:15:01 You know, people, you know, it's in French. And the reason why it's in French is because my original concept is what would the French say to Lady Liberty today? They gave it to us. So you're standing there up on our show and you're looking up at her. What would you be saying? And so the lyrics in French are, you know, you're a mother. you're a mother wake your children remind them who they are tell them stand up be brave uh and that's why it's in french and and besides my lyrics kind of suck if they're not in french um but
Starting point is 01:15:33 me this is me a lot of people talking about the save act and what it means and a lot of people are worried that nothing is going to happen especially through like pressure from the administration and Shane said his biggest concern is trump applies pressure wrong domestically he's great doing it with foreign policy, but he's not doing it right with people like John Thune. He will get crushed in the midterms if nothing in Congress changes. I will tell you the one thing that I know about the SAVE Act with Donald Trump is he has said to me several times one way or another in different conversations, if we don't get control of the corruption of our elections, if we can't, if we can't verify we know who's voting he said we'll never win another election again um and so i know he is
Starting point is 01:16:24 he is on this the one thing that bothers me is his fallback which he announced right off the pad almost is let the federal government take over the elections that's unconstitutional that cannot happen that's a really really um bad thing because they will love that oh if the federal government can do all the elections, they can change that easy. The Constitution specifically says all of the elections are local and state, and they're in charge of all of the elections. And I think that is really important.
Starting point is 01:17:02 Now, the federal government can say we need voter ID. You've got to have a valid face ID. So we know who you are and that you're a citizen. And, you know, everybody is for that. I don't know why Thune is saying, well, we've got things like the Transportation Act that we've got to pass. Really? I don't care, honestly, I don't care if airplanes are grounded for two weeks. What's more important?
Starting point is 01:17:33 A two-week stall on our airplanes, which is not going to happen, a two-week stall on airplanes, or voter ID for the rest of our lives. Which one's going to destroy the republic? if we don't have voter ID, you have no republic. That's why they're fighting so hard to keep all of these illegals in the country. They know, I gave you the stats last hour about what's happening with the census. These states are going to lose electoral votes. And once they lose electoral votes, when New York and California are not controlling the swing anymore, well, that's a problem for Democrats. That's a real problem. That's why they have all of these people in
Starting point is 01:18:20 because they've got to have those votes. They've got to have the congressional and the congressional seats and they've got to have the electoral college by saying no, no, no, we don't count people that are not here legally. And you can't vote unless you have a valid ID. That changes absolutely everything. And I think because as I said Trump is such a good read of people. Almost, I agree with the color. Domestically, he's not as good as he is internationally sometimes. I think of the Epstein thing that was so mishandled and he didn't get what that meant beyond Epstein. That was a trust thing. That was not just Epstein. That was a, wait a minute, this was something that all of us were bothered by and now it just kind of goes away.
Starting point is 01:19:15 And, you know, I think the positioning on that one was poor. This one, this one, I just think he cares an awful lot about. I hope that he pushes Thune, because it's all going to come down to Thune. One guy is going to stand in the way of voter ID, and that will be John Thune. Because John Thune has to say, okay, go ahead, filibuster, but it's a standing filibuster, meaning you have to talk your way through it. And here's how that works. Thune is saying we don't have time for that because all, what do they have,
Starting point is 01:19:50 49 senators? So 49 senators can speak on the same subject in a filibuster two times. So a senator can get up and she can and she can start talking about it. And then when she's tired, she passes it to another Democratic senator. So you have, you know, a hundred speakers just under a hundred speakers that are going to speak
Starting point is 01:20:14 just 49 people twice and once that's done you can't speak a third time once that's done once they go through all those people then it goes to a vote what the Democrats want is the new kind of filibuster where it's not a standing filibuster
Starting point is 01:20:32 where they say we got we're filibustering that and then it takes 60 votes to get to cloture well they'll never get 60 votes for the Save Act. And Democrats know that. John Thune just has to say, well, go ahead, talk your socks off. Because when you're done in 30 days, guess what happens? We vote. And all I need is a simple majority. So we win. So go ahead. Talk all you want. And they're not going to want to talk for 30 days on this because everybody's going to go, wait, wait, you're standing against
Starting point is 01:21:04 votes. You're stopping all of these things. You're stopping the government. because you think that people shouldn't have voter ID. 71% of Democrats believe in voter ID. 71% of Democrats. This is so against their own voters. Their own voters want this. Let them talk, John. Let them talk.
Starting point is 01:21:30 Save the Republic. And let me just speak to you just, you know, politically. Save yourself. Save the GOP. Your party is. nothing if you can't stand for something this important. Back in a minute. Let me tell you about identity theft. You know, identity theft isn't some rare, far-off problem anymore. Recent survey suggests a huge number of Americans have dealt with some sort of identity theft. And for many,
Starting point is 01:21:59 it means damage, credit, financial loss, and a mess that takes months, sometimes years to untangle. It's easy for your personal information just to slip out, you know, data breaches, fishing emails, fake text, websites that look legit, you have to be really, really careful. And even if you are, some of your information might end up in the wrong hands. When somebody is watching for that stuff, they just put a few pieces together and they can cook you.
Starting point is 01:22:23 This is what LifeLock does. They stand against and monitor millions of data points a second and look for signs that your identity is at risk. Starting point is 01:23:07 There's a big difference. Glenn Beck will be back after this. So I spoke to Jonathan Turley. He's got a new book out that's excellent. You need to read it. And I talked to him about the Clinton contempt thing. Listen to what he just said. Listen.
Starting point is 01:23:43 The Clinton's did an extraordinary thing by telling the House Oversight Committee to pound sand. They had a legitimate subpoena, lawfully issued, on a bipartisan vote. and they just said, we don't feel like it. It is the most open and clear case of contempt I have seen in my lifetime. Now, I think the Clintons are counting on the fact that they might be able to play this out until after the Trump administration. If there's a Democratic president, they'll scuttle this effort. But what if they don't? It does take a long time to put cases together.
Starting point is 01:24:17 What if the next president's name Vance? The fact is, I don't see any cognizable defense here. One of the things I've been writing about is this is the first time where there's not even a suggestion of a defense. It's just basically we're the Clintons and we don't feel like showing up. So this would be the world's fastest trial. Now, this goes to your point, Glenn, that they may be counting on the fact that they would be tried in Washington, D.C. And it's pretty hard to imagine a jury pool in Washington without at least one person who wouldn't convict the Clintons if they had a video of them committing heinous crime. But they can't count on that.
Starting point is 01:24:57 And this is going to be a real test to our system. Democrats voted to hold them in contempt. That's another difference here. So you now only have a bipartisan vote for the subpoenas. You have a bipartisan vote to hold them in contempt. And the Department of Justice needs to move with the speed of the Biden administration. They went to zero to 60 on ban on and other figures. We'll see if they can do it here.
Starting point is 01:25:22 So that is part of a podcast. Comes out tonight for insiders. You're a member of the torch at glenbeck.com. Six o'clock tonight. Otherwise, Saturday, wherever you get your podcasts, don't miss it, Jonathan Turley. 60% of the vans on Amazon come to vander independent,
Starting point is 01:25:41 like Sack Magic. Hello, here Camille, our compresses chode-fraud are fabriced here even, in Quebec, with the tissue that we chisette and the avouin that pusses to Sagnet. Our presence on Amazon
Starting point is 01:25:52 enlarge our basin of clientele to the world entire. SAC MAGIC is the compress that all the world
Starting point is 01:25:57 prefer. At part of this, we're grandee. Trouvey to new new
Starting point is 01:26:01 other on our onau on account. Hello, America, welcome to the Glenn Beck
Starting point is 01:27:03 program. I want to talk a little bit about the Super Bowl halftime show, the China Bio Labs
Starting point is 01:27:09 that we're finding now in the country. Also, Savannah Guthrie, I feel horrible for her
Starting point is 01:27:16 and her family and what's going on, I don't know if we have anything. And also,
Starting point is 01:27:20 you know, ICE is Chuck Schumer is like The ICE has got to wear body cams. Good, let them wear body cams. I think that's great. But I have another idea. I think Chuck Schumer should wear a body cam.
Starting point is 01:27:32 In fact, I think everybody in Washington should wear a body cam. I get into that here in 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about real estate agents I trust. You know, real estate is one of those areas where small mistakes can have huge consequences because you're dealing with large amounts of money, probably the biggest amount of money you'll ever spend, timing that actually matters, contracts,
Starting point is 01:27:50 that are not light reading. A lot of people still jump in with whoever's available, hoping it all works out. That's not a good idea. You wouldn't do that in anything else that's big in your life. You're going to take your kids to go see a doctor. You'll just take whoever's available. If it's something really important,
Starting point is 01:28:06 you want to check out who that person is, right? Now, real estate agents, I trust.com is my company, and it is a network of vetted, experienced agents across the country who know their local markets, who know how to guide people through the process, the right way. Having the right agent in your corner makes all the difference in the world. And in a market that can shift quickly, you don't want guesswork. You want somebody who understands pricing, negotiation, you know, how to protect your interest from start to finish.
Starting point is 01:28:34 I think what says it all is the last two years, everybody's been saying, impossible to sell a house, right? It's, I can't get my house sold, blah, blah, blah, blah. The real estate agents that we work with, real estate agents like trust.com, have had their best two years in their career. Now, how is that in a down market? Because these guys know what they're doing. Real estate agents, I trust.com. We'll show you who can buy or sell a house with you to make it easy, even in a tough market.
Starting point is 01:29:02 Real estate agents, I trust.com. All right. Let me start with the China Biolabs. You know, this story is really, really disturbing. China is buying up farmland. They're buying up land all over America, and they're buying up land near our bases, our military bases.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Anybody notice where this biolab is? It's not very far from a military base, like a stone's throw from one of our big military bases. Hmm. You know where else it is? it also is in a major city where tourists come from all over the United States and the world. You know where else it was? In an Airbnb where people are coming to Vegas, they're staying in this Airbnb, then they're going to hotels and conventions,
Starting point is 01:30:08 and to the floors of the casinos and to all of the shows, then they're getting on an airplane and they're flying elsewhere. This is crazy. This is crazy. And this is not the first time we have found it. You want, I mean, you know, the Chinese wrote something you should read. In fact, we did a show on it. Soon, the entire library of glenbeck.com is going to be up. And you'll be able to search for things like this.
Starting point is 01:30:36 You'll be able to go to, you know, torch and just type in, you know, unrestricted warfare. And it will bring you everything that we've done on unrestricted war. warfare. But that is what they call what they're doing. China calls this unrestricted warfare, where it's not soldiers anymore. It's unrestricted. They'll just do whatever they have to do to win. And part of that very likely is, hey, let's put biolabs near U.S. military bases. Let's put biolabs in, you know, major cities that are tourist destinations. Because we can get people, if we want to, we need to, we can get that whole country sick overnight. We can shut down their military overnight because that'll spread into the military base.
Starting point is 01:31:22 And by the time it gets, by time people figure it out, it'll be in all of our military bases. That's unrestricted warfare. That, I hope, I mean, I have, I trust my president and I trust our defense department. I'm not sure I trust a lot in the intel and justice, but I do trust my president. this is something that's real, that's absolutely real, and we should be watching for. But let me talk to you about watching. Everybody is saying that ICE needs to have cameras, you know, on their vests. I'm all for that.
Starting point is 01:32:05 I think the best thing that ever happened to the cops is we put cameras on their vest, because everybody before was like, oh my gosh, look what they, you know what? He broke my arm. Your arm doesn't even look broken. Do you have it in a cast? Have you had an x-ray? No, he broke my arm. I'm telling you broke my arm.
Starting point is 01:32:17 I'm telling you it broke my arm. Cop wasn't even around. Whatever it was. Put cameras on cops. That's great. Put them on ice. Great. We'll know the story.
Starting point is 01:32:28 It keeps them true and it keeps the lying liars away from the press because we improve that didn't happen. Okay. But I got to thinking, everybody wants this on the cops. Well, you know, you know politicians are kind of. of, you know, cops and suits. You know, they're the ones that are supposed to be policing our laws, policing our constitution, make sure there's no enemies, foreign or domestic.
Starting point is 01:32:58 That's what they're sworn to do. They take an oath to protect that and to serve that. What do the cops take? They take an oath to protect and serve, right? So why is nobody watching the watchers? My local cop has to wear a vest. I's going to have to wear a vest. the gas station, the grocery store, the front porch, dogs have cameras now.
Starting point is 01:33:23 But the people with the most power, the ones who operate that power, operate the systems, they're on the honor system. Honor in Washington, D.C. is two words, not one. Do you understand what I'm saying? There's no honor there. So here's a radical thought. why don't we flip this around? Cops wear cameras because we say power requires accountability.
Starting point is 01:33:51 Great. Let's finish the sentence here. If you hold public office, you wear a camera. And not at your speeches, not during your press conferences, all the time. I mean, not all the time. I mean, you're going to, you know, there are times you're not going to wear a cams. Congressional body cams, cabinet level gopros, senators with a blinking red light that says, yeah, remember, Senator, we're watching.
Starting point is 01:34:16 You want to meet a lobbyist? Great. Smile. You're on candid camera. You want to negotiate, you know, a bill at midnight? Great. America's watching. The uncut version. You want to say, this isn't how the real world works. Perfect. Could you define the real world, please? Because the one I live in has and demands receipts. The one you live in, I don't think is the real world because it never demands receipts from any of you. Yeah, but that's extreme. Really, that's extreme. I think we've already decided that extreme was acceptable, haven't we? And if cameras are extreme, then why do we have him for traffic stops? Why do we have him for classrooms? We decided it for every American who doesn't have power. why does transparency suddenly become unreasonable the moment it reaches the top?
Starting point is 01:35:24 Why? You're watched in everything you do. Here's why. Imagine what would happen. Half of Washington would suddenly go, you know what, I'm too old for this job. I should retire. I'm going to let some of these youngsters in. That's the first thing that would happen.
Starting point is 01:35:39 Another quarter would suddenly rediscover prayer. And the rest would spend the first month just asking interns, is this thing on? corruption would need to be prosecuted. It would die of embarrassment. Here's the thing. Corruption thrives in the shadows. It hates daylight. It hates context.
Starting point is 01:36:02 It hates timestamps. You wouldn't need hearings anymore. Just hit rewind. I never said, here it is at 2.14 p.m. sir. Remember, right after the lunch fundraiser, you said this. I mean, protect privacy. Sure, bathroom breaks, no camera.
Starting point is 01:36:23 I don't want to say family time off camera. But you're governing, red lights on. You're doing deals, red lights on. You don't get secrecy and authority. Pick one. What do you say? Pick one. I'll give you national defense.
Starting point is 01:36:39 But I would like to make sure that we define national defense, because we've also redefined secrecy and top secret, top secret. It says here that he used three napkins. while he was in the congressional lunchroom. Let's classify that as secret, please. Everything's classified as secret now. So let's look at what actually needs to be secret and what doesn't. It's amazing.
Starting point is 01:37:06 Amazing how quickly behavior changes when you know you're being watched. Do you know that most people, when they steal from their company, they don't steal because they're bad people. Really, honestly. most people when they start stealing from their company, it's not because they're bad people. It's because no one's watching them. And so something just happens to people when they're not watching, not being watched. They think people don't care.
Starting point is 01:37:37 I don't know about you, but I care deeply about our country. I care deeply about the republic. I care deeply about all of the crime that is going on. And I'm not talking about on our streets. I'm talking about the crime, you know, that's happening in daycare centers. The crime that is happening in our government with our own money, why would you go steal money from a bank when the bank has limited amounts of cash?
Starting point is 01:38:03 Why wouldn't you steal it from the federal government and the taxpayers? That's where the real money is. You know, you look at Ocean's 11. We're going to go in and we're going to rob all the casinos. Rookies. Did you see what they did in Minnesota? what they're most likely doing in California, New York, and maybe even your state? I got to tell you, bills would become a lot shorter.
Starting point is 01:38:26 Language would become much, much clearer. Deals would suddenly make sense. You wouldn't go, wait a minute, what happened? How did that happen? Why did they pass that? That makes no sense at all. Oh, no, it would make perfect sense. Here you are at 101 a.m.
Starting point is 01:38:43 Okay. Phrases like unintended consequences, I think, would go extinct. The only thing radical that we need is radical transparency. And radical transparency doesn't require better people. It just requires visible people. This is the thing that people misunderstand. When our founder said, you know, this constitution, this system of government is wholly inadequate for a non-religious and non-moral people.
Starting point is 01:39:17 when if you're not if you're religious and if you're irreligious and uh and uh and not immoral people you you can't have freedom you just can't because you're screwing things up you're stealing all the time you're you're cutting the the line you're you're trying to get away with stuff but if you're a religious and moral people all of a sudden you have a governor on yourself you go, no, that's wrong. I can't do that. That's wrong. We need that governor back. But until we get that governor back, maybe cameras are a good way. You know, our founders didn't assume that people would be angels. They knew. They knew the opposite. They built a system designed to survive humans. Humans, when they're left to their own devices, when they're left alone, when they're
Starting point is 01:40:11 unwatched, when they have access to money and power, they almost always go bad. What's broken in America is not the Constitution. What's broken in America is the distance between power and the people. So I guess it sounds funny, you know, politicians wired like cops, you know, a Capitol Hill highlight reel. Man, I'd watch that thing every night. C-SPAN with teeth. Can you imagine?
Starting point is 01:40:43 But I'm, I'm serious. Nothing restores trust faster than letting people see the truth unfold in real time. that's why you know what gave me this idea was I saw I was watching the news a couple of days ago and I saw that they were saying you know body cameras for ice and I'm like I'm fine with that and then I saw you know them arguing in Utah about having cameras in the courtroom for the Charlie Kirk trial and I'm like what are you crazy you got to have it you have to you you will create conspiracy after conspiracy after conspiracy you have that whole thing has to be wide open absolutely positively and then I thought wait a minute cameras
Starting point is 01:41:21 why don't we have cameras on everybody? Why don't we have, honestly, if you're a politician, that goes with a job. I don't want a camera on me, then don't run. I know a lot of people that would be like, you can put a camera on me. Most likely until you put a camera on them. Then there's going to be all kinds of exceptions.
Starting point is 01:41:41 No. I'm tired of the spin. I'm tired of the summary. You know, I'm tired of, wait, how did that deal? happen. Well, you know, they got behind closed doors. No, mm-mm. Sunlight. Open the curtains. Sunlight. We have the technology to do it today, you know? And you know what? Maybe the camera only goes on when you're near,
Starting point is 01:42:06 I don't know, somebody who's a lobbyist. You're out in the middle, you know, you're at a nice dinner with your wife or something and then a lobbyist. A.I. Detacks lobbyist, three feet from the table, boop, the red light goes back on. Oh, other politician, boop. Uh-oh, reporter, boop. You know, it stopped them from sleeping with all the reporters, red lights. I mean, that red lights kind of define the district that reporters are in now, but I mean the red light of the camera.
Starting point is 01:42:40 That would stop them from sleeping with them. AI is like, oh, you know what? It seems like the proximity to this reporter is awfully close, seems to get farther away and then closer farther way and then closer farther away
Starting point is 01:42:52 and closer. I know what they're doing in there. Cameras on corruption has to work a lot harder. And here's the thing. Most of the politicians are too lazy.
Starting point is 01:43:05 I say cameras on everybody in Washington. All right, back in just a second. NMLS 1-82334 NMLS Consumer Access.org. APR for Rates in the 5 starts at 6.799% for well-qualified borrowers.
Starting point is 01:43:17 Call 800906-2440 for details about credit costs and terms. You know, a lot of people feel like their paychecks, you know, come and go, right back out the door, you know, between the credit cards, loans and other monthly payments, it starts to feel like you're working hard and you're just standing in, you're standing still, you're not moving forward. That's not good. High interest can quietly eat away at all of your progress. And that's where American financing can help. They work with homeowners to look at ways to consolidate that high interest debt. Now, that high interest debt, maybe a 20, 25, 30 percent interest.
Starting point is 01:43:49 Okay, you have a house loan. You're paying, let's say, 2% interest. You got to pay off that credit card, $10,000. Take $10,000 of what you have in your house in equity, and yeah, you're going to have to pay 6%. But that's a lot better than 25 or 30% a month, right? You know how much money that will save you over time? Salaried mortgage consultants at American Financing.
Starting point is 01:44:14 Go there now, Americanfinancing. They'll help you solve your specific situation in your, trouble. 800, 906, 2440. Call them 800906 2440. It's Americanfinancing.net. 10 seconds, station, ID. We go to line two, James, North Carolina.
Starting point is 01:44:41 Hello, James. Welcome. Hello, Glenn. I just wanted to call you and personally thank you for my son. I am. Okay. Let me explain. I had nothing to do with it.
Starting point is 01:44:55 I swear to you. I had nothing to do with it. Honey? Let, let me, explained. Okay. All right. This requires one.
Starting point is 01:45:04 Right. Over the, over the past many years of me listening to you, I, I, I had no hope of the future and the children that I had. I, and not saying that you caused that, just the state of the world in our country.
Starting point is 01:45:21 I probably added to it. Let me finish. Let me finish. But, all right. I didn't want more children to become a burden. on us a financial burden or anything like that and listening to you talk about our children and the life and constantly feeding us truth it made me want more and i want to thank you because i was
Starting point is 01:45:53 able to tell my wife last year with the hope that we have for our future i we now have a new baby boy and I just want to say thank you because if it weren't for you and President Trump, I don't know if I would have the hope that I have now for our future. James, I think that may be the nicest thing anybody has ever said to me. Thank you. And I mean it's the name of your son. His name is Maverick.
Starting point is 01:46:19 Did you spell his name with two ends or one? What? His name is Maverick. And he is the sweetest, awesome little kid. But I just want to say thank you. you're welcome. You're welcome. You could have named him after me, but no, you went to name him after a gas station.
Starting point is 01:46:42 James, thanks a lot. I really appreciate it. You know, I have to tell you, and I've said this a lot, you know, when I turned 60, I started to change. You just start to see things differently, and then your kids move out of the house, and you're like, okay, what is happening to me? There is nothing better than children. Nothing more important than children. Wish I had to do it all over again.
Starting point is 01:47:10 And if I did, I would have 10 children. They're just the best of your life. And don't hold off. Have children. I mean, think about what our grandparents went through with children and they were in the Great Depression. You can't make it? Of course you can.
Starting point is 01:47:26 Of course you can. You'll make it. It's great. Have more children. All right, back in a minute. Ricky just said the first time anybody's ever accused me of giving them hope. Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. Your cell phone is probably with you more often than your wallet.
Starting point is 01:47:51 You use it for work and family and news and maps. And it's a big part of daily life. But most people never stop to think about what their wireless bill is actually doing. What is it funding behind the scenes? Patriot Mobile was built for people who do think about that. They provide reliable nationwide coverage on major U.S. networks with features you expect. You know, unlimited plans, hot spots, U.S.-based customer support, but they also direct a portion of the profits to support causes that stand for faith and family and freedom.
Starting point is 01:48:19 Switching is super simple. You can keep your phone. You can keep your number. You can get set up quickly without interrupting your service. Same convenience, same kind of coverage. But now your monthly bill is probably a little lighter, and it's helping support values that you actually believe in. So if you're going to pay for cell service anyway, make sense. choose the company that's, you know, working in the same direction that you are.
Starting point is 01:48:41 That's Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Call 972 Patriot. 972 Patriot. Use a promo code Beck. Patriotmobile.com slash Beck. Yesterday, Glenn surprised some founding members at Torch with a phone call. You can read all about the inside edition of that at glenbeck.com.
Starting point is 01:49:21 So I was reading my scriptures this morning before I went on the air and I read in Second Samuel. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. And I thought about all the things that he's delivered me from and that I think he's, you know, please Lord to make prayer this morning was deliver us from hate and confusion. And then I started thinking of the word, deliver. You know, Mary Magdalene, she was a prostitute. I mean, you want to talk about somebody who's like, I've done too much, God can't find anything. she was a prostitute. And he delivered her from sin.
Starting point is 01:50:01 In fact, she became so close to him. In the end, that's the one that God said first he's risen and had her deliver the news to the apostles. I'm thinking about this and I thought, okay, so what is the news I have to deliver to you today? And I think it's this. You've been delivered. You've been delivered from chaos, hopefully. chaos, lies, hatred, whatever it is you've been delivered from. And that is because the news has been delivered to you.
Starting point is 01:50:33 What is the news that you need to deliver to somebody else today? What is the thing that you have to deliver? Maybe it's a child. Maybe if you're in labor, maybe you're delivering a child today. But, I mean, today, my news to you is it's all going to be good. It's all going to work out the way it's supposed to. don't, uh, don't give up. And, and notice that things are changing. I said this last hour, Donald Trump is changing. Did you see what happened with Savannah Guthrie? You know, the thing I really,
Starting point is 01:51:11 this, this whole story just breaks my heart. And I don't know Savannah Guthrie at all. And I'm sure Savannah Guthrie does not like me or whatever, but it doesn't matter. I'm watching her as a human being and I'm like I can't imagine what that must feel like what is she going through what is her family going through what is her mother going through and you just don't know and it's just it's heartbreaking and I was so glad to see Donald Trump have you seen the way he's handled this you know Savannah Guthrie was not pleasant to Donald Trump during the 2020 election not pleasant at all and Donald Trump tends to have a long memory And he calls her up.
Starting point is 01:51:56 Imagine being her. He calls her up. Oh, geez, Donald Trump is calling me. And what does he say? I want you to know, whatever you need, I'm here for you. Whatever we need to do, the DOJ is, I'm sure they're on it, but I want you to know, we're here for you, we're thinking of you, we're praying for you. How great is that to deliver that?
Starting point is 01:52:17 To somebody who doesn't, like, just like me in my life, I didn't deserve, you know, to be delivered. you know, she may not have deserved getting that delivery from Donald Trump, but she got it. And what grace that is. Things are changing. And I think it's because people are starting to see how much trouble we're in. And then again, let me go to the Super Bowl. We got Bad Bunny this weekend. And I don't, I, can I ask you?
Starting point is 01:52:49 Do you know anybody who even knew who Bad Bunny was? Now, this is a tough question, you know, because, you know, if you look like me, there's not a chance. But I don't, I mean, I said bad bunny to my kids. My kids were like, bad bunny. That's who they picked. I don't know anybody if they do know them is like, oh, no, bad bunny is the greatest. One, one Grammy.
Starting point is 01:53:17 And if I'm not mistaken, nobody even knows why. Like, I read a story from this, um, uh, uh, uh, guy in the music business and he's like, nobody, nobody in the music business is talking about Bad Bunny. Nobody's like, oh, this guy's a genius. I mean, like with Kanye, remember everybody's he's like, he's a genius. You're like, I think he likes Nazis. Yeah, but he's a genius. Nobody's saying that about Bad Bunny. How the hell did he get the Super Bowl? Remember, it used to be Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney, you know, and who? And Creed. And Creed. Yeah. I mean, okay, all right. Forget her point. You know, used to be, you know, the biggest and the best. Bad Bunny is the best America can do. Really? Seriously. And then what do they do? They add to Bad Bunny Green Day. What is the guaranteed thing that Green Day does every single performance? Donald Trump is a fascist. I think this Super Bowl is a sci-up. A real. A real thing. A real thing. A real thing.
Starting point is 01:54:25 really do. You know, they just did a poll of the NFL players. Have you ever seen this? Have you ever seen this? No matter who the person has been, have you ever seen a poll of the players going, do you even like this guy who's being, no matter who it is, I've never seen a poll of the players. Somebody took a poll of the players and went, really? You like bad bunny? And what is it? 40, 40 percent said, no, not a, no, not somebody I would have at the Super Bowl. 40% of the players. Who's this guy appealing to? Oh, and by the way, he's rumored to come out an address and heels. Oh, my gosh. Oh, I wish. You know what? Buy stock and Samsung.
Starting point is 01:55:12 Do it today. Because there's going to be so many people rushing out to replace their television after the Super Bowl if you watch that. Buy stock and Samsung. He comes out like that and Green Day delivers that. Honestly. What is the NFL saying? What is the NFL trying to say to America?
Starting point is 01:55:31 Thank God it's the Seahawks and the Patriots because nobody cares. Okay, Seattle cares and Boston cares. All right. Maybe parts of Connecticut. That's it. Nobody else cares. Nobody else cares. I know I know nothing about football, but I think I know enough about that.
Starting point is 01:55:50 I don't care at all. And I, I know I'm way out of my leg. Stu is like he's listening right now, wherever he is going, oh, dear God, don't go any deeper than this, Glenn. Nobody cares. Seattle probably will relate to bad bunny. Maybe parts of Boston will relate to bad bunny. Seattle will relate to Green Day.
Starting point is 01:56:12 That's who the Super Bowl is for. You got to watch it. You got to watch it with TPUSA. Kid Rock is doing it, right? I mean, at least Kid Rock makes sense. How do you watch it? You go to the YouTube channel, returning point. It'll be on all of Charlie Kirk's old socials as well, live streaming.
Starting point is 01:56:35 She's a brilliant idea. Brilliant, brilliant idea. Because I mean, my wife will probably say, let's watch the Super Bowl. I don't even want to watch it. I mean, I'm not even interested in the commercials anymore. What? There's a good, I'd like commercial. They've redeemed themselves.
Starting point is 01:56:55 Have you seen the one with the horse and the eagle? Oh, I know. Dylan's like so far in the past now. All it does is I just, I saw that ad and I'm like, I wish the clause of that eagle would pick up that executive that did the rest of them and just fly him over a cliff. But no. So it is a good spot. I mean, you know, but it makes me think because they are redeeming themselves. They're going back to their original formula.
Starting point is 01:57:19 But did anybody really learn a lesson? Did anybody? It's like, you know, all these, you know, all these, you know, the AMA coming out yesterday. and going, you know what, we don't think there's enough scientific evidence to cut body parts off of children. We might want to stop doing that. Really? Now, you're only saying that because now you're afraid of a jury. You're afraid of getting somebody suing you.
Starting point is 01:57:44 You haven't really changed your mind. You're doing it out of fear. And you did it. You flipped the other way first time out of fear because you thought, oh, man, these guys are going to, they're going to destroy our hospital. They'll come and burn us out of here. We better, we better start cutting body parts off of children. you have no credibility with me at all. Let me take Anthony in Georgia.
Starting point is 01:58:04 Hello, Anthony. Hey, Glenn, how you doing? I'm great. How are you? I'm not so good anymore now that I hear you trashing bad bunny. I love that guy. Shut up. No, I really. I'm like a young Hispanic guy.
Starting point is 01:58:22 I love him. I was just listening to him earlier this morning when I was running. Really? Really? Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. You're not a real person. This is a seminar.
Starting point is 01:58:33 Right. I must be AI. What do you call for, Anthony? That? No. So I actually called because I was listening to your show last week, and you talked about credibility and how you wanted people to know that you weren't some blind follower for Trump.
Starting point is 01:58:51 And I was really glad to hear that and hear you address it. But I think it's something that a lot of us. Democrats have been thinking about when it comes to the right. My issue, Glenn, is that I've been listening to you since back in 2015. And I don't think that there's any core principle or strong value that you hold that Trump hasn't violated since presidency started. So I guess my real question here is what principles are guiding you? You know, Anthony, can I have you on tomorrow or probably Monday? I think a whole show is booked tomorrow. May I have you on Monday? You make a list of those core principles for me. Let's go over that list.
Starting point is 01:59:28 Okay, yeah. I'm down for that. Yeah. I love that. The day after Bad Bunny, you're going to be so excited. Hang on, Anthony. We'll put you on hold and we'll have you back on Monday. I'd love to discuss that with you. Because who knows? Maybe you're right. Let me go to Lori. Hello, Lori. Welcome. Oh, hi, go, I'm here. I'm here. Very good. Welcome.
Starting point is 01:59:56 Hi. Good. I know you got my blood boiling this morning with a comment about having to have ID to do everything. Except for voting. Exactly. The last time I was in Dallas, I actually got mugged and my purse got stolen. So thank God I had my passport and my social security card. Those two documents got me back into the real world just to get a driver's license. And New Mexico is crazy because we've got plebin and reservation lands everywhere here.
Starting point is 02:00:25 You need to have an ID. you just have to have an ID. Yeah. Everybody. Everybody has to have an ID. I know. In the seven states that voted for, yeah,
Starting point is 02:00:36 the seven states that voted for Kamala, yeah, no ID regard. So. Yeah, I know. By the way, do we have an update?
Starting point is 02:00:45 I love it. Thank you, Lori. Do we have an update on, on Kamala? Has she made the announcement? Because there's a big, from Kamala HQ,
Starting point is 02:00:53 there's a big announcement coming today. Did she make it? Yes, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed because we have been delivered from another Kamala Harris run, I think. Can we play that clip? Madam Vice President, what's going on with Kamala HQ? Well, I'm so glad you asked. I have good news. So Kamala HQ is turning into headquarters.
Starting point is 02:01:15 Stop, stop, stop, stop. I can't take it. I can't take it. They are so fake. They are so fake. Everything is so fake. Madam Vice President, what's going on? And well, I'm so glad you ask.
Starting point is 02:01:31 Here, I have Elizabeth Warren. She's just getting a brew for her husband. Oh my gosh, these people are fake. Okay, I got to get over that. I know. Give me a second. Take a break. And then I'll come back.
Starting point is 02:01:44 Let me tell you first about Z Factor. You can drink the coffee, power through the day. You can tell yourself you're crashed tonight. Starting point is 02:02:06 That doesn't help. Your body has to sleep. Starting point is 02:03:45 The Devil Wears Prada 2. In theaters May 1st, directed by David Frankel. I'll show you. Okay, here's Kamala Harris, her big announcement today. Madam Vice President, what's going on with Kamala HQ?
Starting point is 02:04:10 Well, I'm so glad you asked. I have good news. So, Kamala HQ is turning into headquarters. headquarters and it's where you can go online to get basically the latest of what's going on and also to meet and revisit with some of our great courageous leaders be they elected leaders community leaders civic leaders faith leaders young leaders um i'm really excited about it so stay engaged and i'll see you out there thank you wait Kamala hq is turning into headquarters that's what hq stands for right we all knew that quarters um
Starting point is 02:04:47 underscore 6-7. Oh my gosh. You've got to be kidding me. She's so hip with the kids now. Do you know what 6-7-6-7 is? Yeah, I do know 6-7-67. And I'm going to punch you in the face if you say it again. My gosh.
Starting point is 02:05:04 She's so cool. She is so cool. And wow. So just what we need, headquarters, Kamala Harris, talking about all the brave people, you know. It's going to be good. It's going to be good. She's going to make quite the impact.
Starting point is 02:05:20 So she didn't rule out a run. This might be, you know, to show how relevant she is because they're going to get so many young people at headquarters six, seven that, that, you know, she's going to sweep. I can't wait to see the debate. Can you imagine the debate between Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris? That is going to be, that's going to be hysterical to watch, just hysterical. the two worst that you could possibly dream of. And then, you know, you'll bring in J.D. Vance or Marco Rubio. Good luck with that, gang.
Starting point is 02:05:57 Good luck. You know, I was thinking about the GOP and how the GOP is, you know, talking about, you know, they may not, they may not, John Thune, they may not, you know, stop a sitting filibus on the Save Act, which means voter ID would not pass. And he's like, because we have other things to do. You got to keep moving on things. You know what? You got to think long term.
Starting point is 02:06:30 The Democrats think long term. They're in bed with the revolutionaries. They listen to their constituents. They know who their constituents are. And they are responding to revolutionaries. Republicans are just thinking about next 30 days. even respond to 71% of Democrats and 80% overall and 94% of Republicans who want voter ID. Think long term, save the Republic.
