On this program yesterday, I gave you an impossible task. All week, these people on the ground in Afghanistan have been haunting me, and I know they've been haunting you. The images coming out of Afghanistan are heartbreaking. The sounds. the sounds alone are heartbreaking. That is a woman at the gates and she is screaming for help and she says the Taliban is coming for me.

Please help. Anything that you're hearing from our government about the Taliban is a lie. They are beating and slaughtering people and they're beating them at the gates of the airport. Do you have cut 13, please? This is another person at the gate, and they are passing a child over everybody's head,

and they are, the Marines take this child over the fence and the gate, and the child, the parents are giving their children. I called our Nazarene Fund, which is something that you and I started years ago, what, 2016? It was to help those persecuted Christians and Yazidis in the Middle East, those who were marked for death. I told you that there are about 5,000 Christians that are worse to the Taliban, worse than Christians. They're converts. And they are marked for death. Yesterday, the Taliban said, if any of them are found, they will be burned alive.

Many of them are in hiding now. We have, because of you, we have our people on the ground trying to get them. I can't give you any details. But the next few days are. going to be horrific. And we need two things. I asked you

yesterday if you would give until it hurts. And this is the most remarkable audience I think ever assembled in a 24-hour period you gave without any

large donations. The largest amount given yesterday was $50,000. That's a large donation, but that was by far the largest. Eight donors gave until it hurt and they donated a dollar each. Yesterday I said give till it hurts. And so I gave $100,000. and when I got home my wife said I thought you said give till it hurts you know it would hurt

200,000 so my wife doubled it as she said this is why we have money everything else doesn't matter this audience yesterday

because we need the money now. No one is taking off and flying there without the money. The costs of this because it is so chaotic is overwhelming. The bravery of these people is unbelievable. Our own people are on the ground now.

And honestly, we need money, but we need miracles. We truly need miracles. Because I don't know how these people are going to make it. We can get the helicopters, we can get the planes. But I don't... We have military experts working on this, people who have done this kind of thing for a long time, and they are like,

Glenn, the Marines couldn't handle this. They couldn't get people through. My biggest fear is that in our haste to help and in, I don't know, perhaps my hubris, we will help the Taliban kill these people because they are in hiding now. But they have no future. An amazing thing is happening at the same time. I mean, it is truly a miracle, truly a miracle.

people who are just trying to actually survive promises made to many of them. I mean, this isn't one of the people necessarily involved in the situation we're talking about, but there's an interpreter who was in, in Afghanistan, who was helping our military. and when at one point heard someone on a radio talking about an IED that was in a certain place and did what they were supposed to do told the American troops about it and you think well that's great but that's their you know that's their job they agreed to go do that in addition to that when they saw the person they recognized the voice saw the person who was on the radio talking about the IEDs

pointed him out and ran and tackled him so that the U.S. troops could capture him. Then, in addition to that, when they were coming under fire and one of the soldiers was injured, one of being, I believe, a triple amputee eventually, picked up his gun and started firing back at the Taliban. This person applied to leave Afghanistan for safe harbor like five years. years ago and paperwork hassles, all these other things. He's got four kids now. And last week got another rejection letter. Unbelievable.

Last week. Unbelievable. In the country now, being hunted by the Taliban, they're trying to figure out a way to get him out. So I wrote to, you know, the woman mayor in one of the small towns in Afghanistan? She's the first woman to ever be mayor in Afghanistan. Wow. she's amazing and she had said someplace that I read that I'm just waiting for them to come for me.

So I wrote to her and she said, I said, can I talk to you? And she said, hello, surely, but not now as I'm in a rush of saving my and my family's life. We're in a very hard situation. Friends are working to manage things for our safety till that. So please keep waiting. I'm not afraid of death. I am afraid for my family's safety. I wrote back, please, can we help?

And she wrote, pray for us. I wrote back again today. We have not heard back. from her. This, if nothing else, right? I mean, the prayers are, if you don't have any money to give, the prayers are really, really welcome to. Because this is a situation. We have, we've made promises and we left these people there. And not to mention, we still have thousands of our own people there being evacuated. So we need, we need somebody who's going to be able to take, I mean, the people that we know are working on this are incredibly brave themselves.

And it says a lot about the American people still that they'll step up at a time when there's just incredible need. I think people just, I mean, I am so disgusted by the way this was handled. I mean, and I think it's because if you believe America is a horrible place, if you believe our military is just killers, you expect this. And so you don't stay. You don't come up with a plan. But the American people, they look at these people that have been left behind. And I am so angry. I mean, look at how we look to the rest of the world.

We're not those monsters. but boy, this administration has sure made us into those monsters. It's inexcusable. It's a generational tragedy playing out before eyes, and it didn't have to be this way. And I'll tell you, as angry as I've ever been over the last few, really few weeks, but particularly the last seven days or so watching this, one of the worst times was yesterday,

listening to the president with Stephanophila saying, I don't think any mistakes have been made. No mistakes. It was inevitable. It's inconceivable. And if he's sitting across from General Millie or General Austin or any of his other leaders and he says no mistakes were made, good job, guys. It's unbelievable that we would have a president who would take that.

So first of all, I'm begging Donald Trump, run for Congress. Please run for Congress. Then become the Nancy Pelosi. and you lead the impeachment of all of these clowns. This is, these guys should, you know, in, in Japan, there's honor. And they do crazy things. They kill themselves when they're dishonored. I just like these people to step aside.

This is so dishonorable. I couldn't agree more. And I've been calling again for the resignation of Millie and Austin for the last half a week. and again, how can the president trust him? How can the American people trust him? But I want to come back to this other point, Glenn, that you and I have communicated on. It didn't have to be this way.

And I assure you, if President Trump had been the president during the completion of this withdrawal, it would not have been this way. Oh, no, wait a minute. Hang on just a second. Wait, wait, wait, just a second. That's not true because let me play cut eight, please. Here's Joe Biden yesterday with Stephanopoulos.

Listen to this. We've all seen the picture. We've seen those hundreds of people packed into a C-17. We've seen Afghans falling. That was four days ago, five days ago. What did you think when you first saw those pictures? What I thought was we have to gain control of this. We have to move this more quickly.

We have to move in a way in which we can take control of that airport. And we did. So you don't think this could have been handled? This actually could have been handled better in any way. No mistakes? No, I don't think it could have been handled in a way that. we're going to go back in hindsight and look, but the idea that somehow there's a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I don't know how that happens. So there you go, Chris. I mean, that was five days ago, so let's not talk about the plane. How dare you bring it up? That was five days ago. And there was no way out without chaos, Chris. You're right. I stand corrected. This is the most brilliant man in the world, and I concede to his experience in authority. Of course there was a way we could have done this.

Any mildly competent leader could have done this. And, Glenn, I had conversations with the president, with his national security team. I can assure you that they would have not allowed this to happen. President Trump. Because, yes, President Trump, of course. Because, I mean, for one thing, their plan was this. I know this is going to shock people, but think of this. He said, we will withdraw our civilians first.

We will draw U.S. persons first. Then we will bring out our allies, those interpreters, those people who worked in the motor pool, those those Afghanis who, whatever they were doing, were brave enough to say, we will help U.S. forces here. We will draw them out second. And then we will draw out our U.S. troops. Okay, hang on just a second. This is from a conversation that you had with Donald Trump. So anyone, he had, go ahead. He had this conversation.

He had this conversation all the time. I mean, he was adamant about this. And whenever this conversation came up, he described exactly the process and what his vision and view of this was. Okay, so that was point one. Everybody gets out before the military gets out. Point two. Well, and then there was this severe threat of deterrence. Even a personal threat that he would look, and he communicated and actually negotiated, he was criticized for doing this,

was some of the Taliban leadership and some of the Taliban spokesmen. And he said to them, essentially, now I'm paraphrasing, and the intention was clear, I will hold you responsible if you break any of the red lines as we go through this process. And when he said responsible, everyone in the room knew we were talking about Soleimani and others who they have reached out and been able to touch, again, holding them, we're not going to come after your soldiers. we're going to come after you.

And they understood that. And the response was, oh, no, no, your excellency, we will not do that, we'll not do that. And the reason being is because they feared and they respected President Trump. Do you think there's anyone in that region now who's looking at this president and through the eyes of fear and respect? In that region, I don't think there's, I heard on the floor of parliament addressed down of the United States that was so embarrassing. Nobody respects us now, and God help the people of Taiwan. God help them. Exactly, and it will take us, if we are ever able to,

it will take us a generation to rebuild trust in the region there now. And this has real national security consequences for the United States as we report, and not just in Afghanistan. As you indicated, Glenn, throughout the rest of the world, people will be looking at us. They look at us through a different prism now. They look at us through a different set of eyes because they watch this. And then they hear the president say, no mistakes have been made. This was inevitable.

No responsibility. He takes no responsibility for this. There's one other thing I want to mention if I could, and that is the previous administration being adamant on this. We will leave none of our equipment behind. We won't leave any classified material behind. And now we know that the administration has admitted There's hundreds of millions of dollars, perhaps billions of dollars of military equipment and classified material that have fallen into the hands of the Taliban.

It's inexcusable. Is you're a military expert? I mean, you graduated top of your, top of your class. You've been with the military for forever and ever. Do you know of a bigger military disaster than this? Is this Bay of Pigs or worse? Well, I think potentially it's worse for a number of reasons. Number one, after the Bay of Pigs is the president didn't come out and say,

hey, nothing to look at here. This went really, really well. Let's talk about COVID. And there was some responsibility that was accepted. And I don't think either the Bay of Pigs had quite the far-reaching strategic importance that this has. We hadn't been fighting a war in Cuba for 21 years after the Bay of Pigs. And there are other things that I think, make this even more grave.

I think you could equate it to Saigon, as, you know, everyone has. And I don't know, I'm not a historian. I couldn't give that perspective. But it's certainly on par with, I think, anything in our lifetime and probably anything within generations. And that's what we have. That's really what should be our focus now is how do we recover from this? First place, how do we do what you're doing with your $9 million in counting to help

recover those who are endangered from this. That needs to be the immediate focus. But then strategically, we've got to have a president who can admit and acknowledge that this wasn't handled the way it should have been. Put a team around him who will do the same thing, which clearly they haven't. And then try to rebuild the pieces, but it's going to take a long time. And if you're in Afghani, do you ever trust the United States again? Never. Never.

It's honestly this, I thought of this all throughout the night. We're asking these Christians to trust us that we can get them out. And if we're going to do our very level best, we may die trying to do that. But gosh, would you trust us? And then if something goes wrong and, I mean, geez, we have no credibility. None. I don't even trust my own government on the ground. I don't trust that the State Department is going to be able to help anything. You know, Glenn, that's why what you're doing with this is so important because it's a way for us to say to people, not only people in Afghanistan, but people

around the world, this doesn't represent the United States. There are still, there are still good people in the United States, capable people who understand the importance of what is happening and are going to do everything we can, even outside of the power and forces the United States government, to try to make it better, to try to help. And I think that message is desperately needed right now. Congressman Chris Stewart, thank you so much. We'll talk again. God bless you, Chris.

We're just talking about what is happening in Afghanistan. and there is no amount of private military that we could, uh, we can employ to clear the roads to the airport, uh, but the United States government could. And it is the chaos that is happening. The Taliban,

they are shooting and beating people at the gates of the airport. We are on the other side. Land five, thousand troops and tell the Taliban to back off and clear the roads. What is wrong with us? Are we the United States of America? I can't believe. We're just like, ah, the Taliban said no, though. They said no to us getting our people out of there. So, hey, we can't guarantee safe passage to the airport, but try to make it here if you can. Did you see, did you see the military, the secretary, the defense secretary, stunned by this question.

Play cut five, please. This is yesterday. How far can you extend into Kabul? You know, and how long does it take to flow those forces in to be able to do that? So it sounds like you're saying this depends on diplomacy with the Taliban. That's it. That's our only option, is getting them to agree to do this. Well, let me add something here.

I mean, this is stop. That is embarrassing. You know why it's embarrassing? Because it's true. That's what they believe. Well, it's going to take a long time. Really? Really.

Really? I wish I could tell you the number of planes that we have now secured and are ready to go in 24 hours. I can't tell you the number of people that I could open up to the audience right now and say, hey, were you in Afghanistan? were you a fighter in Afghanistan? You want to go help these people? I could fill those planes with military men today that would go over and save those people.

And our freaking Pentagon can't do it. This is a national, not just embarrassment, tragedy. This is a tragedy. And every person that may, God forbid, die because of what is going on there right now is all in service of Joe Biden not wanting to admit a mistake. Not wanting to admit.

You want to talk about arrogance. This went wrong. Oh, Donald Trump is so arrogant. Really? He said he couldn't come up with anything that had gone wrong? What the hell are you talking about? We scraped body parts

On May 23rd, General Brooke, who was a leader of the Allied drawback to Dunkirk, wrote in his journal, Nothing but a miracle can save us now. Well, in an effort just to get some of the troops out on May 26, Churchill gave into the idea of evacuation and ordered the beginning of Operation Dynamo. as the campaign began Churchill expected the evacuation from Dunkirk it would rescue maybe 45,000 men at most. The closest harbor was blocked with war-sunk ships. The rescue had to be made on the shallow beaches, and those large boats couldn't reach them.

The Navy was stuck. They would need small vessels to transport the troops from the beaches to the larger ships. well the request went out and within hours 220 light warships 650 civilian vessels were on the water some of the crew navy personnel but many were manned by the civilian owners and and crew they were moms and dads brothers and sisters the members of the small armada has become known as little ships. As the Allied troops sat on the beach, on the shore

in dread, they looked out and saw nothing. No ships, except a shattered French destroyer, is what one of them wrote. Then all of a once, they couldn't believe what they saw coming over the horizon. They're

coming towards them. A mass of dots that filled the sea. An army of little ships. little points of light coming to their rescue. In a hail of bombs and artillery fire, this little group of rag-tag people, just regular citizens,

sailed through the ocean mines and the torpedoes with little or no rest. Day after day, night after night, plainly marked hospital ships full of British and French wounded were an easy target for the Nazi bombs, but the men and women never faltered on their commitment. When the mission was complete, some 198,000 British and 140,000 French troops were saved, a total of 338,000 souls.

Now, how did they do it? They did it because at the time, the people of England and the leadership of England clearly knew the difference between right and wrong. They clearly had faith. Churchill had faith in the British people and the people had faith in their God and they still knew what was right and they did it.

It was faith and devotion and courage of everyday men and women just like you. that saved all those people. This is our Dunkirk. Each of us have to be willing to sail our own little ship into the storm of the battle to save those who have been stranded and left behind by our own government. As the Taliban takes over Afghanistan, as they stand at the gates of our airport with our Marines hands tied,

beating women and children and shooting them at the gates. Not on my watch. This is not America. The government is not America. You are America. Each of us doing what we know is right. Today my government does not represent me. Not by any stretch of the imagination.

you want to say that America is such a bad place. Well, you are now in charge and you are leading one of the worst moments in modern American history. Not my name. I will do everything I can personally to help save the lives of people that we have left behind to suffer at the hands of madmen. There is no U.S. coalition coming to the rescue, even though how dare you Pentagon officials tell us there's nothing you can do?

discouragement and disillusionment to take their God-given light and free will will beat the relentless sequence of calamity. It will happen. Our collective ability to improvise and overcome obstacles will allow us to rise up like the tiny armada and become a mass of dots that fill the seas and the skies and come to the rescue of those who need us. yesterday I gave you an impossible task, an impossible task. everything we did for 20 years. And you know what? That doesn't bother me as much as you standing by where women, while women and children are shot just a few yards away from our military.

But you're not going to, you're not going to stand for. You won't just stand by those governors exercising their 10th Amendment. How dare you? Listen to me. This is not us. And if we don't stand in peace, in love, with goodness and service and malice, toward none in our hearts. If we don't begin to stand up right now, there will be nothing left of America.

Do you know why Afghanistan is happening? Because as you believe, so shall it be. That is a universal principle. As you believe, so shall it be. Well, what does everyone in the administration and now all those leading the Pentagon, what is it they believe? They believe that America is full of racists and bad people, that our military is only done bad.

So this is just another notch on the headboard. That's all it is. This is just another bad thing America did. And America did this long ago. So let's get them out of there because it doesn't matter. We're the cause of it. That's what they believe. That is not what I believe.

I have always believed our military was right and righteous. We have done, not because of the military, but because of our leadership in Washington over the years, we have done bad things. But the American people didn't necessarily know it or weren't clear on it. There is no excuse now. we are very clear on what is happening. We are very clear who the bad guys are right now.

I mean, there is a jihadist insurgency from Mali in Western Africa all the way to,

all the way to Afghanistan. And this was a coup d'etat for every extremist in the world. I mean, there are extremists who, because of American strength, you know, had finally given up on this path. But on the 20th anniversary of 9-11, the Taliban is going to be running Afghanistan. they're going to be in the presidential palace in Kabul. Every extremist in our country, in every country around the world, every person who's flirted with extremism, this is just the beginning of a global catastrophe, and we need to work now to identify the most vulnerable people and to help them. We have to help them.

And we've got to keep pressure on our government. You have been working, Johnny, I don't know if you know what the Nazarene Fund has turned into, but it is a juggernaut and has been helping people all around the world. And, you know, today, I don't even know what it, do we should get another update? Last hour, in 25 hours, we have raised $12 million for the people in Afghanistan. And we're not going to stop there. Nobody seems to care about all of these Christians that are, they are being slaughtered, literally in the streets. I mean, in your book, you have the next jihad. In your book, you talk about how they made all of the Christian men lay down on the ground and what happened. Yeah. And they forced these Christian girls, teenage girls that they had kidnapped.

They held a knife in their hands and forced the girls to cut the throats of their Christian brothers. Not long ago, these jihadists showed up in this village in the middle of the night in Nigeria. They killed everybody, including a little girl who was 13 years old. Her name was Patience. they killed her sister whose name was Revelation. She was six. And then their four-year-old sibling, whose name was rejoice.

They killed a 14-year-old girl in this village with her grandparents. I don't know the names of the grandparents, but the little girl's name was Blessing. These are Christian parents who named their kids patience, revelation, rejoice, and blessing. And all of this was happening before Afghanistan. I mean, there's the one imber of jihadism that hasn't faded since ISIS and Iraq and Syria to this catastrophe in the last week is what's been happening in Western Africa. And if you think that the Syrian crisis was a crisis, oh my gosh.

I mean, what if we have the failure of Western Africa, coupled with the Taliban in Afghanistan, coupled with the failure of governments, you know, around the world over the last year and a half economically? I mean, these are, these are very, very precarious moments. And for the first time, at least in my life, you know, I don't wake up every morning, at least knowing that the United States of America has it, has it under control. In fact, I wake up every morning wondering how the Chinese Communist Party is routing America today. You know, I have to tell you, China, look at look at what we've done with Afghanistan. China was in, in Afghanistan taking pictures with the Taliban leadership before, we left, okay?

Taking pictures because they're their new partners. Well, gee, what's on the other side of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and just to the other side of that? Iran. Yeah, Iran on one side. But you, they are going to be able, they're not for India. They're going to squeeze India now from both sides. And then they'll have a sweep all the way through Iran.

And for the president of the United States, Joe Biden, to have the audacity to say that our goal was never an inclusive democracy in Afghanistan to begin with. I mean, he is handing the future of the world to the autocrats and the jihadists all over the planet. The Chinese Communist Party, three weeks before the Taliban took over, you know, hosted the whole leadership in Beijing. And you know what they get in exchange? probably a trillion dollars of mineral wealth inside those mountains. Oh, they have more lithium, I think, than anybody else. They have more lithium. I mean, the riches that are under the ground of Afghanistan.

And I don't want to take their riches. I'm not there to take their lithium. But to give it to people like the Taliban and China is insanity. And make no mistake. that all the people who are desperate outside of that airport right now, the Christians that are hiding in the corners of their houses waiting for the knock on the door from the Taliban, all over the world, you know, they're going to get no help from the Chinese Communist Party, which is shut down every major church in the country that has interred millions of people in

modern concentration camps. I mean, what is happening, and I'm sorry to say it, but we cannot rely on the United States government to help these vulnerable people. we're just going to have to take the situation in our own hands. We're going to have to put unrelenting pressure on our members of Congress. We're going to have to partner with people in other countries around the world. We got to help these people. We have to, and I know this is where your heart is and you really have laid such great rail tracks. We have to put pressure on our churches.

Where are the churches? You know, this is what's crazy about Nigeria, Glenn. like Nigeria is a lot of Christians and and and and a lot of evangelical churches in Nigeria, okay, whose evangelical denominations are based in the United States of America. Like every church in the United States of America needs to be adopting a church in Nigeria. They need to be treating them like their brothers and sisters. They need to say like their problems are our problems. Their security matters to us.

If their church is burned down, we're going to rebuild it. I mean, already in the first six months of this year, more Christians have been killed. in Nigeria than in the entire year last year. Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of churches. This is one country. And what makes it even worse that it's happening in Nigeria, this is a democracy of 200 million people, a country which receives a billion dollars

in our taxpayer money a year from our government. And our government is largely silent. We won't put pressure on the Nigerian government to fix this problem. And in the meantime, you know, the problems are sprouting up like, wildfires, you know, all, all over the world. And, and, I mean, the fact is, there are, there are desperate, desperate people who, who at least

could rely on the United States, not for us to be interventionist, not, not for us to, to, to, to, you know, to just to make, take, take their- Just to make their voice alone. Just to raise their voice. That's, that's, that's, that's, that is the crime. of America in Cuba. All they wanted. They were in the streets so Americans could hear their voice.

And our American companies have not done jack squat for those people in Cuba. And for the audacity of the Biden administration to say that their number one priority is human rights. Oh, my gosh. I mean, this is, what about those, the women and girls in that video we all saw last night hanging on to that fence. For our Secretary of Defense to say that he can't get people out, that's not that's not what the British are saying. It's not what the French are saying. They're taking their trucks and Humvees into Kabul, rescuing those people and those people who helped them over the last two decades. Did you see the women that were protesting in front of the Taliban yesterday?

These women were holding up signs that were demanding their right to be. outside and to have a job, they were protesting in front of the Taliban. They weren't just like in front of the supermarket. They went to find the Taliban. They're not hard to find. And protested silently in front of them. Can you imagine the guts that that requires? And if there was a president Ronald Reagan, he would be saying, I hear your voice. Yes. I hear your voice. But what is the president of the United States, Joe Biden saying on ABC News this morning, he's saying, well, it's up to the Taliban as to whether they want to be accepted by the international community. It's the same Taliban. Go back and listen to what they said in 1996 when they first took over the country.

It is copy and paste exactly what they're saying. Now, amnesty and all of this stuff, it's all a grand lie. And just like we have taken it hook, line and sinker from the Islamic Republic of Iran, we're taking it hook line and sinker. And right. And right. now, every single one of us, I don't, I don't care. What's going on in your day today? I know we're all busy. We all have our jobs. You all have our lives and our kids and everything else. Call your member of Congress. Help the Nazarene Fund. The next jihad, a book by Johnny Moore and Rabbi Abram Cooper, Stop the Christian Genocide in Africa. I love the fact that a rabbi is helping write this. You know, it's amazing. Rabbi Cooper is the one who asked me to go to Nigeria, right? So here's a Jewish rabbi, not a Christian, saying to me a Christian known for standing up for persecuted Christians. Like, when are we going to Nigeria?

And we went two weeks before COVID. He came to my office and he said in my office at one point and said, Glenn, you got to stop talking about the plight of the Jewish people. And I mean, he's from the Simon Wiesenthal Center. And I was like, okay, how's that workout, rabbi? And he said, they're coming for you guys first. We got to get the Jewish people to help. I mean, I saw donation come in yesterday, I think from a Jewish person who said, how can I not help the Christians after it was the Christians that help save my people? Yeah.

And the Simon Wiesenthal Center was the first organization in the world, which said that ISIS was guilty of genocide against Christians in Iraq and Syria in 2014. So when they start ringing the bell and saying, pay attention to what's happening in Nigeria, you know, we ought to start paying attention to it. And when we, you know, traveled there two years ago, I mean, this was largely isolated to one part, maybe two parts of the country. Now, you know, Nigeria's issues surrounding the capital in the northeast, in the northwest, in the southwest, in the center of the country. Jihadists coming in the middle of the night, yelling al-Ahah al-A-Aqbar, burning down the churches and the houses, hunting down the Christians, doing horrific things to the women and girls. in fact there's one famous girl alone whose name is Leah Leah Sheribu who would be free today but she refuses to convert to Islam and so she's now going into her three and a half years of imprisonment because this girl who was kidnapped when she was 16 just will not convert

and so she's been through been through horrific things many of us would do that Johnny Have you thought about that for you? I mean, you know, we say, we talk a good game, but we're in America, we don't know what that's like. No, I don't know. I don't know, Glenn. I don't know if I'd have the strength to do that. But what I do know, and one of the reasons why you have my faith is because there are so many people around the world willing to die for a faith that I'm barely willing to live for. And on a hard day or a difficult day, I remember these persecuted people. And look, I don't think we can, we can, we can, experience the fullness of life if we're not helping these people or close to them or hearing their story. But I'll tell you when you hear those stories, when you read their stories,

we met with 50 victims over a day and a half, including a whole village that showed up in our hotel out of total desperation, because nobody was paying attention to them. When you read the stories, you will not be able to sleep at night. And that's exactly the point. Because if we continue, if we continue to ignore these issues around the world, and I get it, we got lots of problems at home in the United States. But I'm telling you, there are very few things that we can do. They're very few things. We look at all these problems in the United States. You're like, what are we going to do? We're just going to go vote. I'm telling you right now, when you're in service of your fellow man, you're in service of God, and I'm telling you, it will bring you

You have to give and pray and help these people the way you hope someone would give for you and to pray for you and to help you. There's one family, actually. from Dallas. Okay. There's an Afghan man who used his cell phone in 2001

right at the very, very beginning of all of this. He was an American who was being held hostage a woman right after 9-11. This Afghan man, courageous Afghan man, realized this was an injustice.

He used his cell phone, gave it to her, so she could get free. That man received asylum in the United States of America for saving that American. This summer, his wife and his six kids, they went back to Afghanistan to see family that they hadn't seen it a long time.

And guess where they are? They're stuck there. He's here. His wife and his six kids are there. And I'll tell you, Glenn, I have like burned up every phone, sent every email. everybody I know in the U.S. government, everything we possibly can do, you know, to try to get

attention for these people. Like, so, okay, that's a story. But what if it was your wife? What if it was your kids? Like, and as a person of faith, like, I have a responsibility to these people. Like, it, it, we're one family. And if you believe, like I believe, that every single person is, made, made in the image of God. Like, their problem is my problem. Their concern is my concern. And we have to respond the way we hope somebody would respond for us. Because we may need somebody to respond like that for us. I mean, it's becoming more and more real that the world is coming undone. And if we don't stand now, I'm just convinced by saving those who are enslaved,

by saving those who are in jeopardy because of what they believe, we will save ourselves. There will be great blessings. The Lord cannot use a country that sits around on Twitter and Facebook and has been lost. And all of the work for decades and centuries to get to the place where we are now, to have the opportunities that we have now and to waste them while people are enslaved and to see us buy all of our crap from Apple that is making it in those slave camps and we don't care is really God can't use those people. Yeah, and Glenn, a weak America is a strong Chinese communist party. And I was saying this like a year and a half ago. and it got me a sanction from the Chinese Communist Party.

Oh, I saw that. But you know what they sanction me. You know, I don't help me get sanctioned. That's a badge of honor. But you know why they did it because what I was saying was true. And they didn't want it said. What did you say again? I said that they wanted to go after, you know, every person of faith in their country

and around the world. And I said, the people the Chinese Communist Party fear the most aren't actually Americans. It's their own people. They're more evangelical Christians in China. then there are members of the Communist Party. There are millions and millions and millions of Uyghurs and Tibetans. They're Falun Gong practitioners. When you put all the people together that they persecute,

it's like six or seven hundred million Chinese people. They're like 90 million members of the Chinese Communist Party. And they act like they're all of these other things. But the fact of the matter is, in a country like Nigeria, where the United States government gives a billion dollars a year to that country. That should not be happening. And yet simultaneously, we allow Nigeria to make deals with the Chinese Communist Party to build

infrastructure all across the country. So we give our billion dollars and we let China take over the country. And you talk about slaves, let me tell you about a slave. Her name's Leah. She was kidnapped with a hundred of her siblings at a girl's school a couple of years ago. The government told all the parents of these 100 girls that they had negotiated the release of the girls. So they bring all the parents together at this place to meet their girls.

And one by one, the girls come off the bus. But one girl didn't come off the bus. And Leah's mom sees Leah's friend come off the bus. And she's waiting because the government has told her that her daughter is coming back. But her daughter's nowhere to be seen. She's, where's Leah? Where's Leah? And she sees Leah's friend. And Leah's friend tells her, she tells her, Leah wouldn't come.

because she refused to convert to Islam. She refused to convert to Islam. She was a Christian, so she is still captive to this day. And this is a democracy that receives a billion dollars in the United States of America. If they know enough to pay a ransom to terrorists, they surely know enough to take the military equipment we've given them and go rescue that girl. But what if it was your daughter? I mean, what if the people, and this is my point, Glenn. All these geopolitical things, and you cut the TV on and off,

you look at Twitter and Facebook and every, we have inflation in this country and political problems, and everybody just, like, wants to push it all out. And what I'm just like pleading people to do at least today, at least this week, is don't be so quick to push it out. Like, what if it was your daughter, kidnapped at 16 years old, raped by terrorist, held captive? What if it was your wife and kids?

It went over to see family in Afghanistan who are stuck there. And our government's saying they can't even get inside to rest. We gave away Bagram Air Base a month ago. Like, what if it was your family and then press pause on your life for a few minutes today and do something about it? And this is one of those things that you can do something about. You can do something. there are so many people that have been smuggled out of China there are so many people that have been rescued and saved

and it's it's really not that hard you know these people that we're saving over in Afghanistan or trying to you know how difficult that is Johnny these people they trusted us they heard the gospel many of them converted.

That's worse than just being a follower of the Nazarene. That's worse. And now they're left alone and they're in hiding. There's one family I heard about yesterday. They were a part of a persecuted minority in Afghanistan. So they were already persecuted, a muscle minority. Then they converted to Christianity. It's like a death sentence.

They're guaranteed to die. And they were contacting everyone they possibly could to get out because they relied on us to protect them. And all these things we said about democracy and all these things. And for our president and his speech the other night, I mean, he literally said, Glenn, it was never our goal to have an inclusive democracy in Afghanistan. It was our goal to stop the terrorism from Afghanistan in the United States. And then, you know, and then for the president, to sit down with ABC News.

You know what ABC should do? George Stephanophilus needs to release the entire video from beginning to end. I want to see, I want to see what question. I want to see if George Stephanophilus coached the president of the United States and some answers. I want to see if the president of the United States got lost a little bit in answering some of those questions. I want to see what he said after the president turned on him. And he said, I mean, there were people that were holding onto airplanes and,

and lost their lives. And the president turned to George Stephanopoulos indignant and said, that was four or five days ago. Like, how dare you bring that up? That's ancient history. Oh, my gosh. And does the president think we're all stupid that we didn't see him three weeks ago, say none of this was going to happen?

We're not stupid. And I don't care who your elected representative is. If you're in a Democrat district or a Republican district, you need to burn the phones up today. And they need to hear from you. because this is not the way the United States behaves. I just, I shared this earlier this morning. You know the woman who thought that we were trying to build an inclusive Afghanistan

that is the first female mayor in the town in Afghanistan? You familiar with her? Yeah, yeah. So I wrote to her and I said, hey, how can we help? Can we talk to you on the air? she said surely but not now i'm in a rush of saving my and my family's life we're in a very hard situation friends are working to manage things for our safety till that please keep waiting then she writes i am not afraid of death but i am afraid for my family's safety glenn i sat in

the state department like eight months ago or something when the state department gave her an award as an international woman of courage. I sat in our State Department while she told her story. And for our U.S. government to not do everything in its power to rescue that woman and her family, you know, I'm repeating Raul Wollenberg. We're repeating all of the things that we have done at the worst moments of our history. This is worse than Saigon. This is this, all these things, it's worse. You know, when you talk about is Joe Biden like Jimmy Carter 2.0. No, no, like Jimmy Carter is now Joe Biden 1.0. I mean, this is like, for that woman, I mean, I sat there.

Our U.S. government gave her an award as an international woman of courage in our State Department. And she's sitting there not knowing if she's going to live or die or a family's going to die or what is. It's just, you know, I don't want to say I'm embarrassed, but there's something deep about this. Oh, my gosh. Since you have been on the air, we have raised another. $1.8 million. It is now at $13.8 million. But you know what, Glenn, not enough. Praise God. I'm grateful. I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful for it. But, you know, we need more.
